Sometime in Sept i recieved a Notice of default and the right to cure & intention to repossess my vehicle by certified letter the letter requested that i make payments letter stated that i owed 609.00 I mailed two money orders one 200 and the other 409 this was suppose to be for 7/24 and other was for 8/24 I sent 399 for sept payment which came out of bank account rec 10/06 and i sent 399 which is Oct payment bank statment showed money was taken from acc 10/27, Nov i sent 399 which was remove from acc on 12/1 my complaint is that CF has been calling saying that i owe them for Sept which was a Money Order that they said that they did not recieve so i did a trace on the Money order i got a copy of the money back from western union which showed that the money was cashed on 10/1 so called CF several times i spoke with numerous employees of CF one of them name Ben who stated to fax them a copy of the money order so i did.

i called CF back and someone else told me that they recieved he copy and it was sent to imaging to see who sign the back of the Money Order but it is now DEc i just spoke with a female with a southern accent who stated that they did not have a copy of the Money Order and to send it to another fax number when i asked her is there anyway to deal with one person because i've been dealing with this for two months she told no but she would make a notation to my account then she ask me when will i be sending DEc payment i told her i dont know what are you going to do about my missing money order that was sent and cashed and placing the account delenquent she advise me there was nothing she could do because her computor was showing that she never recieved the copy of the Money Order and to call on Monday i said maybe i should get an attorney so the MOney Order would be located because obviously someone stole the money order the female stated that if you can afford an attorney then you can make a payment i told the female that consultation is free meanwhile someone from CF was calling on the otherline i hung up the phone pissed!!

Fred of Holly Hill, FL December 15, 2009

Called a resident last night around 6:40PM and told the person she had some money coming to her. After asking her for ID information they asked for aq credit card number stating there was a filing or application fee. Chystler Financial just wanted the account number so that they could get their debt collected.

A person named Sidney on November 18, 2009 stated that the organization called itself the Fortune Finders. Also please tell all customers that there are sites that do free searches on the Internet such as missingmoney.com. No need to pay anyone an application fee. I consider the above tactic as dishonest and fradulent plus I called the local media last night and now am contacting the national media.

Against my better judgement I purchased a car from Chrysler for my daughter with the explicit instructions she would have to help with the payments. And of course she has not helped at all and I have always struggled to make the payments since the very beginning. I lost my home and have been off work for the last 2 months recovering from an illness and have not been receiving a paycheck.

They called me at work before I got sick 3 or 4 times a day, at home 6 to 8 times a day. They have even called my neighbor (who is an 80 year old woman) at 9:00 at night and told her it was an emergency that I call them back would she please go next door. I am not even familiar with my neighbors and that was just about the last straw. They even call my mother who is in her late 70's and harass her about where I am or where my daughter is. I am really trying to make the payments as quickly as I can but when I have no money coming in then I can't.

Because of all the late fees etc they have put on my account I can't afford to have it repoed because they will never get what I owe out of it so I will end up paying for it any way. You would think since Chrsyler got bailed out they would be a little more understanding and what the heck did they do with all that money? It is a different person everytime they call and they are really rude. I have been trying to get my credit cleared up from a bankruptcy and foreclosure and thanks to Chrysler I am just getting deeper and deeper.

cliff of wpb, FL December 4, 2009

although i have been late making my payments i have never been more than 60 days late. as a elect. contractor many of my cutomers are slow paying or do not pay at all in some cases. to compound problems my wife lost her teaching position at a christian school recently. i have never encountered such a rude harrasing company in my life,i understand it is their job to collect late and missed payments but is it necessary to call 18-30 times a day?

the reps are the rudest and most threatning people i have ever encountered. i hope that these cust. svc. reps will have to experience what they have put me through. they seem to be very effective in their efforts but i have made it a point to make them work for each payment i make. i love my truck, it is the most reliable vehicle i have ever owned in 38 years of driving but could never purchase another chrysler product. my accounts wih ford and gm treat me with so much more respect that i will always take any future buisness to them. t

dolores of seminole, TX November 7, 2009

they keep calling my mother over 65 dollars that she shorted her payment over by a complete mistake. they call the house two to three times a day to coclect the 65 dollars she told them that she would make it up on her next payment but i guess this is not good enough for them. she feels like after the us goverenment has bailed the company out that they should be a little more responciable for thier own actions. in stead of harasssing people over 65 dollars

m of kenner, LA October 20, 2009

They call constantly. My husband lost his job and is trying to make payments. THEY CALLED OUR NEIGHBOR!!!! They barely know us! This has to be illegal. We have called chrysler and tried telling them our situation, but are answered w/ rude remarks.

Angelita of Detroit, MI October 13, 2009

Chrysler Financial has my home number but yet they constantly harrassment at work is unbareable. I recieved a rude call from a rep last night and i want to know is there a way to get out of this lease 9 months early because of the harrasment and stress that I am being cause, times are hard out here, and they see that I make payments.

I owe 100.00 from my last car note and they keep calling and calling, my home and work, not to mention that the transmission had to be fixed because my warranty was up. I do not like being talked to like I'm a child and having a rep become rude with me. I will never want to own a chryler car again, the customer service is terrible.

Ronny of Columbia, SC September 18, 2009

I have been struggling with this company for 2 years I have had the Kia for 24 months I have made 23 payments even though they have been late they were made. the company was aware that we were struggling, they would call and harass me all during the day they would call us names and continue to call and laugh about the fact that they had that right because we were people that were just non caring and we deserved this kind of treatment. I just pray that the lady that I spoke with the 16th of september can sleep at night because I will have alot of trouble as I have no where to go or any way to get to a job because she pulled her power to jerk everything out from under me and my wife we are in our early 50s it was already hard trying to start over after having to go through bankruptcy in 2004 but we were giving it all we had we would go without food to make this payment every time we got paid they were also aware that we were paid by contract they knew we were not trying to beat them. But I guess they showed us,

Anita of Marion, OH September 16, 2009

I leased a 2007 Jeep Compass. I was making payments timely and without problem. And then, in March of 2009 my husband was laid off from his job as a plumber. He is Canadian and could not collect unemployment because USCIS was processing his application. Needless to say going from 2 incomes to 1 and a new baby was rough. I tried to keep everyone up to date but fell behind. BUT I was late 60 days 1 time. I am paying about 30 days behind but paying all the same. I have called Chryler and have been very honest about our situation.

Today, I called to schedule my Aug 24, 2009 payment of 414.57 and was told by a recording that I owed 175.00 in late fees. I then spoke to a csr who said she did not understand why I was confused and that it is really simple. Well, I don't work there and it's not simple to me. I ended up hanging up on her and crying. I called back again and got Ms. Griffin or Griffith, I could not understand her.

Anyhow, I explained the nature of my call, she asked if she could put me on hold and she did and then the line was disconnected. I was calling back from my work phone (which is where my original calls were made from) when my cell phone rang, low and behold it was a recording asking for 589.57 and asked me to clearly speak the exact date I would be sending this payment. I said "I will not pay this amount until someone calls me" and then I was told to hold for the next available rep and I did. Then she comes on the phone and wants to know when I am going to pay.

Again I say when someone explains to me why I have 175.00 in late fees when I pay what my invoice shows or what I am told by a rep to pay in addition to the 12.50 they charge to process my payment. They could not explain why I was being told a different amount. I am going to end up losing my car due to the ridiculous late fees they are imposing but no one ever notified me of these before.

I have been very depressed since all of this happend so I asked who I could write to to complain. NOBODY knows! Convenient that they want my money but can't explain why these charges appear. I think that the Fed government should take a look at the business practices of this company.

Kim of West Palm Beach, FL August 31, 2009

I get many phone calls from Chrysler Financial because my spouse is not paying his payment on time. I am not on this account/loan so therefore should not get these harassing phone calls from them every day until he pays on his account. This occurs every month and it needs to stop. Because of these calls it uses up my cell phone usage time which causes me to go over my minutes for my plan every month.
