Here's Chegg's response to its consumers' comments:

At Chegg we strive to deliver a customer experience that meets or exceeds that which industry leaders like Zappos and NetFlix offer today. A key part of that experience is Customer Service. At Chegg we put the highest priority on really understanding the customer issue, and work hard to address all customer problems. Our one measure of success in Customer Service is customer satisfaction.

When we read comments like those posted on this page we see cases where we have not met the high standards we set ourselves. When we come across customer issues like this, we do everything in our power to reach out to the customer to work with them to fully address the issue. This isn’t always possible, but that doesn’t stop us trying as hard as we can.

On our site we provide a Feedback link for customers to tell us how they feel about our service. Most comments are positive, but we do receive constructive criticism as well. We circulate all negative comments to everyone in the company, and look to address the issues identified as part of our constant pursuit of ever-higher standards.
