What a nightmare this company is. I would give them negative stars if I could. 2 months later I am still fighting them and disputed the charges on my CC. I had a 1 day car rental, $29. They charged me 200 security deposit at the time of the rental, which was supposed to be refunded after 7 to 10 days. Of course they never refunded the money. On top all all, a mystery charge for 491.55 appeared on my CC out of nowhere, who knows what for... I am disputing that one as well.
This is the worst car rental experience I've ever had; I never used this company before and needless to say, I won't again. When I contacted them about it, they gave me a run-around, one BS after another, passing me on from one department to another. I don't believe at this point that it was just a billing error; although I gave them a benefit of doubt at the beginning because the agents behind the counter were very unprofessional and seemed clueless. I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
Oh, one more tiny little details about this wonderful company: I reserved an economy car but at the time of the rental they only had a van available! So I ended up taking that and pay $$$ for gas since I was in the bind and didn't want to wait a couple of hours until one smaller car became available... unbelievable. They may have some sweet deals, but at the end you pay the price. Stick with the bigger, more reputable companies, it's worth an extra dollar...

We rented a car from E-Z at the ABQ airport. When we arrived to pick up our car, we had to wait for at least 20 minutes, along with others who were also waiting because the desk agent was out back napping and/or smoking a cigarette. Even the other nearby rental company agents (from other companies) were shocked at the unprofessional behavior of this individual. Once we got our car, I could honestly have forgiven this snafu, but then the worst thing happened. We returned our car two days later as scheduled -- even an hour before the scheduled return time! The agent at the desk this time (a different one) took the keys but did not provide us with a receipt. We received an emailed receipt later which charged us for an "extra day" and indicated that we actually returned the car EIGHT HOURS after we had returned it.
When I called to let them know I was actually back in NY at the time they indicated that I had returned the car, they refused to refund me, saying that I needed to send them my boarding pass from my flight. I reached out to the airline, which told me they could not provide a boarding pass but did provide me with a receipt and written confirmation that my ticket had been used. When I sent this to E-Z, they never replied. Since I booked this rental car using my Amex, I've contested the extra (nearly $90) charge that way and uploaded all necessary documentation. Needless to say, I will NEVER EVER use E-Z again.

I have no complaints about E-Z rental car company. The customer service was really great from all of the employees, the car was very nice and clean as well. If I ever had to visit San Antonio Tx again, and needed a rental car, I would definitely rental from E-Z rental company.

Basically, it's a simple thing - I arrived at the airport, got on the van, went to the rent-a-car location and picked up the car. There are only 2 recommendations I would make: 1. Make sure there's a sign saying E-Z Rent-A-Car at the airport location for picking up the van; 2. Include a map that shows how to get from your lot to the 405 highway and perhaps other routes people usually take to get where they're going. Thanks.

Excellent service. The service I received was friendly and welcoming. It’s a bit of a walk from the check in desk to the car with someone who doesn’t walk very well. When I returned the car, I hoped there would be an easier way to get a wheelchair for my mother from the car rental center to the terminal. We took the train and had to search the airport for wheelchair services. Not a pleasant experience.

I looked, online, for low rates car rentals. I found this, to me, unknown company. Still, made a reservation and I was pleasantly surprised... The whole transaction, from the moment they pick me up in their shuttle at LAX airport, until I sat in the assigned car, everything went smoothly and w/o a glitch. Returning the vehicle was also painless. In other words, they met much more than my expectations. Agent I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything accurately. Next time I need to rent a car, I will look for this outfit. I am very pleased with their service.

Our car was filthy inside and out. The agent that helped us at pick up was very friendly but the car was less than desirable. And, when we tried to change the drop off point for the car, your customer service agent on the phone were hard to get a hold of and unfriendly and unhelpful. I guess you really do get what you pay for because you were the cheapest rental available. Next time I’ll pay a few dollars more.

I ordered a Camry gas! Got a VW Passat diesel! I have never driven a diesel so I had nothing to compare to. But this car was gutless. I took my life in my hands when I got on the freeway! Would not recommend this car to anyone!

Guy at counter nice. Only positive of my experience. After everything I went through to book at end I get hit with a security deposit for several hundred dollars. I’ve never had to pay this with other carriers. I’ll be going back to them. Also no one helped with my child seat. I grabbed one I thought would fit. Did not have daughter with me at time. Seat too small. Had to borrow one and carry through out airport with multiple bags I already had. Lost a small bag with valuables in it as a result of this. I’ve already complained about that once and nothing was done about it. Why bother getting my feedback if you don’t like it what I say and don’t do anything about it!

Your RATES are BETTER than MOST. But when I say I don't need any of the insurance, DON'T ask only BASIC. I don't need or at least explain the charges. I would tell FRIENDS about you but to be CAREFUL of the insurance.

Vehicle hire generally went OK. Just amazes me that in 2019, any hire/rental would not come equipped with a Sat Nav as standard equipment. Then had to spend a further amount, I think it was US$74 or so for the week, for a substandard piece of equipment. Then, to compound the problem, we had to contact the Sat Nav supplier, to have it rebooted so it would function, albeit slowly.

Super quick service. We were in/out with keys to our rental SUV, which had a whopping 1280 miles on it, in under 20 minutes!!! The counters were adequately staffed & there were only 2 people in line ahead of us when we walked in. The return process was even quicker! I pulled up, unloaded luggage, and was on shuttle in under 15 mins - didn’t even have to go inside the building! Had confirmation of return come across my phone before shuttle was out of EZ Rental lot! And the price... this is THE LOWEST PRICE I have EVER paid for a rental car let alone a SUV with only 1280 miles on it! EZ Rental at Denver Airport was truly the best rental experience we have ever had. I am sold on them now!

Gave me what I wanted for the price I wanted with no problems. Car was clean when I got it. The car was also the perfect size for my family so we were comfortable. The SUV we had was great on gas so we didn't have to spend a lot of money on fuel.

My trip was off to a rough start. The air in my front tire was low the morning after picking up the rental. I was able to return it to E-Z airport location and Jorge upgraded me for free. The very next day my daughter locked the keys to the rental in the trunk about 2 hours before we were due to take someone to the airport (their bags were in the trunk). It was chaos. Even after AAA unlocked the door we couldn't bypass the system to release the trunk and the model of car didn't have access to the trunk from the back seat.
I called E-Z and Angela and the other attendants at E-Z started doing all they could to help including googling solutions, watching YouTube videos and even calling the car manufacturer for a solution. We were finally able to locate a hidden panel underneath the backseat and we all cheered. It made me feel great knowing they had my back. I'd EASILY rent from E-Z again. I don't expect every experience to be perfect, but I do expect customer service to try and help when I need it. The RDU E-Z rental team did that for me.

The overall experience was positive. The only issue I had was when I dropped off my car. It was my first time renting a car and I was was really unsure about the process. The guy that rented it to us was super nice. When we dropped it off, it was really early, 4AM. There wasn't a drop box or an attendant on duty. I was unsure as what to do with the keys. An attendant from another company told me it was ok to just leave the keys in the car. Needless to say, I was a nervous wreck flying home, worried that the car might be stolen or worse. I made a call when I landed in Detroit, confirming it had been processed. Other that than that it was great. A drop box would be a great addition. Thanks.

Great customer service, Bus ride from the terminal to the rental office. Very helpful. Nice rental car, worked great. (Had some hail damage but it worked great, hardly noticed, Hey, it's Denver!!) Very friendly staff, the shuttled driver located the wife's purse she misplaced too. Very happy with the rental.

Upon check-in on 6/23/19 at 9:30pm, we were told Highway #15 (which we use constantly to visit family) was now a toll road and we'd be fined $250 if the FasTrak transponder wasn't used. We agreed and were charged $153 for its use. We then spoke with our son (San Diego resident) who told us this was NOT TRUE. FasTrak is only used in HOV lanes during rush hours. There are NO TOLLS on other lanes. We returned to check-in area and had charge removed. Note that we were lied to in order to have additional charges added to our bill. Not nice and WILL NOT USE E-Z Rent-A-Car again. This was our first time renting with this company and we have NEVER been scammed by other rental car companies. There are several other reputable rental companies at San Diego airport and we will use them.

I had my own SUNPASS transponder in my vehicle during my week's rental (rental was from 05/31-06/07). I had used it in March of this year and added more funds to the account before our departure. Apparently, E-Z Rent-A-Car's transponder, that was already in the vehicle, registered the TWO tolls I accumulated (less than $2.00). After I turned in the rental, I was automatically charged $27.00 for the tolls to my credit card on file.
When I contacted customer service and complied with their instructions on how to remedy this charge, I never received a call back or email about it. The Toll Administration Dept. hasn't responded, either. I have yet to see a refund on my credit card for the $27.00 I was charged (today's date is 07/12-nearly 5 weeks after I returned the vehicle ). I have plenty of funds on my SUNPASS to take care of the <$2.00 tolls. With all of that being said, E-Z Rent-A-Car was very easy to work with for MY RENTAL. It doesn't seem to apply when there is a customer issue that needs to be resolved.

We made a reservation for a compact car back in April (two months prior to our trip), but we were told you were out of them and got a minivan instead. Then my husband couldn't be the driver because we only brought with credit cards in my name. It would have cost us $13+ per day to have him added as a driver. We never had this problem with other companies both in US or in Mexico. Your quoted price was lower, but we did not get what we wanted. We are going back to Enterprise!!

Beware of the hidden fees and pressure from the agents to add on to your rental. They may seem cheaper than the others however, in the end, you will be paying the same if not more than the name brands. They will send you a free upgrade but it has conditions. They tell you that a prepaid tank of gas is cheaper than filling up by you - False. They tell you that the toll pass is needed and the difference of the unused amount will be refunded - false. They tell you that you need a 8 cylinder car to travel in Denver and the surrounding area - false.
Additional fees will be added even though the website says all fees included - false. My $180 weekly rental turned into a $430 charge to my account which did not include the $200 deposit. There were several others at the rental place that had the same issue. I have been a traveler for business and pleasure for a long time and this is typical of these rental agencies that are trying to keep up with the big names. Beware!

Will not rent from this company again. My boyfriend received a call earlier today from their billing department stating that we owe them $246 for a windshield repair. When we got our car at the Orlando International Airport my boyfriend and I noticed that there were dents and scratches all over the car as well as damage to the windshield. He had gone to the office where a guy was managing the lot and he had marked X's on our pink paper receipt with the damages on the car. However, this was not marked on the carbon paper that they have for their records. Because of this, we are now being responsible for paying for the windshield repairs. I am sorry... We are not paying for this! This is ridiculous! We even notified two individuals that worked for the company when we turned the car in about the damage on the windshield. They informed us not to worry and that they would charge the person previously that had rented the car.
When my boyfriend spoke to the woman from billing, she indicated that there was no evidence of any damage to the car on their end, when we have proof on our receipt. Perhaps, your inspector should have got off his butt and done his job correctly instead of screwing over innocent people! Based on reviews I have read about EZ, it explains why we were coaxed into renting from them. Should have read reviews before agreeing to get any services from them.

Rented a compact car at the Denver location, they offered me a Kia Rio. I agreed and told them, "I do not need any additional insurance," as my insurance gives me full coverage on any vehicle I drive. They had me initial boxes, "collision damage waiver and roadside service plan". I initialed the waiver only. Later did I find out that the "waiver " was an authorization to purchase the insurance. This resulted in additional charges of $167.40 for my 5 day rental. They also charged me a "concession fee" of $47.87. When I spoke with their "customer service people", I was informed that this is a charge since I booked near the airport. They charged me $564.00 for a 5 day rental and were not willing to budge a little on the bill.
Contacted my Visa company only to find out EZ Rental had added an additional $200.00 to the bill making it a a grand total of of 764.31 for a 5 day Kia rental. I would NEVER rent from these thiefs and crooks again, and if I lived in Denver I would be there daily with a sign saying: Home of the $764.00 5 day Kia rental. Shame on them!!!!

May I please have the rental agreement number?

I was unfamiliar with E-Z car rental, but the extremely low rates were an extra perk. However, once additional fees are added their rates are comparable to every other rental car company. Also, the rental car front desk and lot are not located within the airport terminal, quite inconvenient. This adds additional stress when waiting for a complimentary shuttle from rental car lot to airport terminal.

We arrived into Seattle late at night and the rental desk was closed and we were directed to go to their parking garage to check in for our car. We were there only ones checking in, so service was immediate. The attendant was friendly and helpful and check in was very smooth. We were informed of all the traditional upsells, but she was not pushy or unpleasant when we declined. The car was nearly new and pleasant to drive. The check in process was also quick. All in all we had a great experience with EZ Rent a Car. This was our first experience and we will use you again.

Great customer service. Enjoyed the car, very clean. Would use E-Z again. We upgraded to a small SUV which made it easy since that is what I normally drive. The shuttle to the rental office was very prompt both coming and going.

To Whom It May Concern:
I’d like to report my negative experience to you in hopes of not only being reimbursed, but also that a change is made in your employee practices. While attending some training in Denver, I decided to rent a car to do some sightseeing over the weekend. As an Independent Travel Agent with Inteletravel, I used our booking engine to book my own reservation with E-Z Denver for Friday, May 3rd, through Sunday, May 5th.
During the check-in and rental process, the E-Z agent advised me that choosing the option to have E-Z refuel the vehicle after drop-off would actually save me money. He even quoted the price per gallon at the local gas station and advised me that this would be the cheapest option. He also upgraded my rental from a small economy car to a GMC Yukon. However, because I realized that I was being upsold, I didn’t have an issue with the price difference. Upon driving off the lot, I was pleased with the vehicle and resigned to the estimated price of $177.16.
However, upon returning the vehicle, I was informed that the total charge was $279.03– $100 over the estimated charges! Upon inquiry at the rental desk, I was advised that I was charged for refueling the vehicle with a full tank of gas even though I used less than 1/2 tank! When I stated that I didn’t use a full tank of gas, the agent informed me that I signed the contract saying that I agreed to these added charges. I explained that the other agent was dishonest and actually advised me to choose this option stating that it would be cheaper than refueling the vehicle myself. Needless to say, I was and still am, very upset by the dishonest practices and the lack of customer service when an issue is reported.
As an Independent Travel Agent, I would be absolutely mortified if this happened to one of my clients; therefore, I will not be booking with E-Z or Advantage in the future. I’ve also reported this to my fellow travel agents, Inteletravel, and all my friends and followers on social media. I rented a Nissan Sentra, touted as a mid size car through Expedia for what Expedia reported as a Total price of $196.11. Final price was $278.11 which included EZ's toll transponder charge of $69.93 for 8 day rental and an additional $11.99 which I don't know what for. The left rear tire had slow leak which required attention twice and the check engine light came on every time over 60mph for 10 minutes. Expect extra fees and ill maintained cars from EZ.

Overall I had a decent experience. I waited for over an hour for a shuttle at the airport pick up, we called multiple times as well. This was my main disappointment. The lady working the desk was very helpful once I arrived but overall the shuttle service was horrendous. We lost hours at midnight waiting around to get picked up.

I never comment on reviews for any company but today I feel compelled to because I had such an awful experience with E-Z rental at ATL airport. I travel to Atlanta all the time (for over 30 years). I chose E-Z for a reservation for they had the best price. I call ahead to a toll free number to make sure my rental reservation was ok because I wanted to modify the time. I was told 2 1/2 hours in advance of arriving that my rental was ok and there should be no problem. I get to the counter and the E-Z rep tells me they have no more cars so I am stranded at the airport at 9:30 pm. I call (same toll free number) the try to get this issue resolved but I am told they cannot help me but I could possibly get a car the following day.
After walking the airport rental center checking with other rental companies for 2 1/2 hours, I was able to get another rental car (through AVIS) which I paid about $200 more than the one I had reserved. My assumption was that because the airport was so busy (prom, graduation, and Memorial day) E-Z could raise the prices on cars $200+ and they did at my expense. I will NEVER rent through E-Z again. This was not my first time using E-Z but it will be my LAST.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we cannot predict whether or not other customers will return the vehicle on time for the next renter. We are currently looking for ways to improve our customers wait time. This place is a complete rip off! I rented a car at Orlando airport for 3 days and paid $300 for a Hyundai! Yes you read it right $300! When I booked the reservation the price was around $76. After taxes and fees it was around $100 so I figured the price was perfect. When I get to the counter there was no one there. I had to search for someone who then told me that counter was closed so I had to drag my bags, and my 3 year old to another location. Instantly I was annoyed.
My reservation was for a compact car. When I get there the rep tells me they only have a 2 door car but she will upgrade me to a 4 door for the same price. What she failed to tell me was that there was a $30 upgrade fee, then she asked me if I wanted to pre pay gas. I asked what was the price per gallon. The price was reasonable so I agreed. I returned the car more than 3 qtr tank full. They charged me $49 for gas!! I was livid. They charge for a full tank of gas regardless of how much gas is in the tank when you return it. This is the biggest rip off. I’ve rented at many car rentals and have never heard of such. I take blame because I didn’t fully read the contract, but I trusted in them to have their customer's best interest, but clearly they don’t they took advantage that it was late and that I was in a rush traveling with a toddler.
I have never dealt with such a dishonest company. I gave it one star because I had no other option. I wish I could zero stars. They are not worth half a star. And don’t get the pre pay E-ZPass either because that is another rip off. They charge $10 a day regardless of how little you use. I paid $30 and only used about $5 in tolls again not explained to me. Just told sign here. They didn’t even tell to read before I signed. Again my bad there but I trusted in the company to treat their with the utmost respect and I was fooled. In my prior experience with other car rental they explain everything in detail. I would never rent here again and I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s no wonder they have a low rating. Their expertise is in ripping people off then blaming the customer. Please listen to the reviews. Oh I was also charged for a different price for the car seat. Don’t rent here!!!

After having rented from E-Z several times, with no problems I rented for two days from the Orlando Airport location in January 2019. I did not choose the toll tag option as I am very familiar with the Orlando toll roads and brought the correct change for each booth. I paid each toll on the day of arrival with no trouble, and again upon returning to the airport until I reached the last toll booth and the attendant said it had been charged to the toll tag. Apparently, the tag had been active the entire time without my knowledge, believing that it was the responsibility of E-Z to turn the tag on and off. Upon return, I told the attendant about the problem and she assured me it would be okay since I had paid each toll except for the last one. Two months later, I was charged. I wrote to customer service and have yet to receive a response. I won't be renting from them ever again.

We were scammed by E-Z Rent a Car, Orlando Airport. We have a signed contract stating that we DECLINED the E-Z Toll program. We paid cash for all the tolls in Florida only to find a charge for $82.82 on our credit card the following month for, you guessed it, TOLLS and fees!!! Apparently they did not disengage the toll device so it was registering each time we went through a toll, unknown to us, of course. We disputed the charge on our credit card but our sucky credit card company, Capital One, won't fight for us.

The service person was brilliant. He even deftly helped his colleague at the counter with a difficult customer. However, E-Z Car sent me off with a car that - in retrospect - never should have been rented. The car did not have a passenger-side rear view mirror. The check-out person at the gate just had me repeat the fact on the form, and sign it again. I don’t think that the car was safe. It was difficult driving safely without this way to check blind spots, especially when changing lanes. When I checked the car back in, the attendants seemed quite surprised that I had been given a car without a rear view mirror.

The exterior of the car had tape marks where the doors closed to the body of the car. The windows were dirty also. The check engine light came on the first day I had the vehicle, and a call to maintenance number was answered with the instructions that if I was not having problems with the car to just continue using it.

We had concerns. First, the total amount was substantially higher than what we'd understood when we reserved the car. By the time taxes, fees, the fuel program and the EZ Pass were figured in, we were paying nearly $400 for what we'd understood to be about $285 -- and we were told that E-Z Rent-a car was helping itself to a "deposit" of almost that amount in addition, charged against our card. Not good PR. Disclosure should be clear and complete in the reservation agreement, and there should be no additional "deposit" on top of the rental amount, taxes, and fees when the credit card is accepted and the liability agreements signed. The "deposit," while substantial, wouldn't begin to repair a car or deal with a liability situation -- so one must gather its purpose is to sit in the bank with other deposits and accrue interest as a short-term loan.
But two things stand out -- we had pre-paid the weekly rate for a reservation for 4 days and 17 hours, but had to pay more to reserve for an extra day, even though we were now at 5 days, 17 hours, still well within the definition of a "week"; and were were sold an EZ-Pass at more or less $10 per day, with the assurance that it would save us a bunch of money on tolls but there were virtually no tolls to be paid outside the immediate Orlando area. I'm guessing we incurred ten bucks in tolls getting to and from our motels and in and out of the Orlando area, and the nearly $70 we paid for the EZ-Pass was otherwise pure profit. Again, not good PR. You could rent the E-Z Pass on a per-toll basis with a modest processing fee and still make a solid profit, rather than having your renters driving all over Florida seething because they'd paid for something they weren't using.

We rented an SUV in Los Angeles, and the lady at check-in was amazingly nice and talkative and offered unsolicited advice in r/t to driving routes to a few cities; the facility was clean; we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to be served. The vehicle was great; car return was super easy; the bus drivers from and to the airport on flight days were very nice. Would recommend and will use E-Z Rent-A-Car in the future for the reasons above. I didn't even mention the price, which I believe was the lowest I could find for the type of vehicle we needed.

This was the best experience I have ever had renting a car. EZ is an appropriate name. Not only was the rental much less than the on airport agencies I was in and out with my keys in under 10 minutes. The gentlemen at the desk was professional and friendly while he got things ready. The car was clean and in good shape, ready to go. On return I just left it with the keys in it and hopped the shuttle. The bill came to me via email an hour later and was as expected.

These racketeers spend 20 minutes with each customer trying to sell CDW and other optional insurance services. They literally will not release the car to a customer until they've spent at least 20 minutes pushing optional services. I had to wait nearly 90 minutes in line behind just four people while the lone agent gave customers the hard sell on these optional services. When it finally became my turn, the agent refused to serve me because I told her at the onset that I would not be purchasing any optional services. I had to wait another 10 minutes for the manager to meet with me before the car was provided. It was just like attending a timeshare presentation.

We were asked if we wanted an upgrade. Response was no. We were asked if we wanted a free upgrade. Sure. - It wasn't free. We were asked to waive insurance. Yes, Please sign here. We did. We were charged. The bill was $200+ more than expected. We were told it is for incidentals, tolls, etc. and we would be reimbursed when we returned the car. That did not happen. We were also told that we do not need to fill the vehicle up with gas because they get gas cheaper $2.59 per gallon. At least we filled it up prior to return otherwise it would have been $8.99 per gallon. Quote price was $588 actual price 927. Complaint was ignored because we signed.

When I picked up my car it was literally pouring down rain in Sacramento, CA. I was soaking wet and cold! Because of this I was in no condition to accurately document all the extensive paint damage to the front bumper of the car. When I returned I BUMPED it into a parking sign sign and left a small white paint for on the left front bumper. While I was trying to take a picture of the existing damage, the argumentative attendant drive the car away, saying was going to get a claim on the damage. I am a retired Navyman with 31 years of enlisted and officer service. I have rented cars literally around the world and have never damaged a car. I will never rent a car from E-Z again, nor will any of my friends or family. I recieved a bill from them for $300.00 and have disputed it with my insurance company, USAA.

We were booked this car through Hotwire and we're delayed overnight to Denver because of weather. The agent was nice enough, but he talked me into upgrading to an SUV that was "guaranteed" to have AWD (I originally rented a Toyota RAV). After you spend a night in a hotel in another city because of bad weather, I guess I was susceptible to the roads actually being bad. They weren't - the roads were high and drive.
So after paying $60 more than what was needed, the amount charged on my credit card is more than agreed to amount. My phone call was to someone who perhaps English was their second language and they tell me that I brought the car back needing cash. I filled the car to full (past the click) 1 mile from the airport. It seems that EZ-Advantage has a history of overcharging their clients per the San Francisco Chronicle article on 4/17/19. Guess I should have done a better job before trusting Hotwire. EZ-Advantage - you aren't easy and the advantage is what you take from us.

Rented the vehicle after seeing an ad on Facebook, and thought that I was going to get a great deal. I actually paid more for the dated vehicle than I have had paid through other rental companies from this Florida location for the same rental time. Not only did I pay a lot more, but I also had an item stolen from the vehicle that was in a personal zipped small wristlet, when I returned it to the rental location from one of their workers and this happened in minutes, I was still at the location when the item that I left in the vehicle was returned but the item inside was gone but didn't notice until I was on the airplane and had not Apple AirPods in my zipped item.
I contacted the company as soon as I noticed the item missing. That was March 29, 2019. To this date, the company has not returned the item or made it right. I know they know who the person was that did it because the person who checked me in has their name on my receipt and he called the guy on a two-way radio who drove the car away from where I parked it. I believe this company needs to make it right. I am so upset about this.

Your midsize car was smaller than other vendors. I had to upgrade to another vehicle which started the family vacation off wrong. Then the vehicle was dirty inside and smelled like someone had been smoking weed in the vehicle and it was air freshener sprayed over the smell.

The rental was good, desk agents were very accommodating and friendly. Process was very very smooth and professional, they explained everything in good detail and took their time. The only thing was the car itself, all four tires had different air pressure causing it to vibrate and swerve to on side at highway speeds and the key fob wasn't working and the car had a lot of scratches and such. Other than that I had no problems.

My reservation was for a car but at pick up I was assigned a van. I refused to accept it. For an addition charge of $10.00 a day, I could rent an intermediate size car. The paid in advance charge total was $425.28.... The new total was $703.05. We have rented cars for many years from different agencies, for as much as six months annually and have never had a similar problem, EXCEPT with E-Z Rent a Car. This is a deceptive practice and we are due and expect a reimbursement of the additional charge of $277.77. Reputable companies do not conduct such practices.

Too many charges at the counter which are not included online i.e. SunPass, add'l driver, Florida taxes, deposit required. These should be shown online so a realistic cost for the rental is shown before you pick up the vehicle. Customer service at the counter in Ft Lauderdale airport was excellent and the vehicle was clean. Return was easy as well.

EZ is not easy at all. Thrifty is much easy to rent from. Keys already in the car. Don’t have to wait in line just to get my car when I already waited in line just to get confirm reservation and pay. Not renting here again. Took me 2 hr to rent the car from start to finish.

In the past I have had a good experience. I was a bit discouraged this time around. I had to wait in line for over 30 minutes. If you are that busy, it would be nice if you hired more people during your busy time. Also, the shuttle driver was THE WORST driver EVER!! All of us on the bus probably suffered whiplash from his erratic driving.

I have used E-Z several times this year since we stumbled across them! Easy to check in and out. Vehicles are modern and up to date with amenities. Staff is always helpful and kind. I am impressed with the convenience. Only problem was Houston the E-Z rental desk is not at airport, it is 10 miles away. Otherwise, all is good!

Had a good experience with E-Z Rent-A-Car to the extent that I will be a repeat customer. The choice of opting for a lower cost car meant trade-offs but I was rewarded for a little longer wait with a greatly reduced price. I was directed to wait for the shuttle pickup away from the normal car counters. After a short shuttle ride on a clean bus my registration was quick and efficient. I got a late model, low mileage, clean vehicle. I'll return.

The first vehicle I was given had a broken driver’s side rear view mirror cover. When I drove away, there was a loud noise coming from rear passenger side wheel that sounded very unsafe. I called to discuss my issue with the car, but couldn’t get a hold of anyone in a local office. I had to wait in line for over an hour to exchange the car because there was only one customer service rep available. Once I got in the new car, the key fob had water damage. It displayed an error and gave a warning signal whenever the car was started. The brakes in that car were very squeaky as well. Both vehicles were an embarrassment to drive. Highly disappointed with EZ and I would NOT recommend to anyone.

The gentleman that checked me in was awesome!! He went above and beyond. Needs a promotion for sure. On the agreement it says Asmeron. The gentleman that checked me out was rude, and short. He treated other customers with more dignity than our vehicle. Don't know if it was because I was a woman with children, but he did not treat us very well. On the agreement it says Ahmed.

I did not get the vehicle I asked for. I requested a smaller vehicle and I was given something much larger. The vehicle was in rough shape including a broken passager side front fender. I've rented a lot of vehicles and this was clearly in the worse shape.

I'm a long time customer at E-Z and I keep going back for the same reasons: the team behind the counter and at the car pick-up booth are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Plus, the prices are great, the cars are usually new and always spotless, and the location (at least at the Ft Lauderdale airport) is wonderfully convenient. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my next trip into the Miami area.

Rental agent was excellent. Car was exactly where we were told it would be, and it ran perfectly. Exiting the rental area was easy and quick. Returning the car was a little confusing because of both Advantage and E-Z signage at the airport, so it would help to make extremely clear to customers that they must return to the Advantage location. The only real problem we had was that the interior of the car had not been cleaned before we took it, so we’d have food and stains and smudges in it and felt as though me did not have a clean vehicle. That was disappointing.

The agent at counter intentionally misled us to believe that we were getting a complimentary upgrade. When we turned in the car, we were charged an additional $25 a day. Tried to resolve this matter with the customer care people on the phone. They said I had signed a contract agreeing to the upgrade fee. My paperwork showed no such agreement. I asked them to send me a signed copy of the agreement approving the upgrade fee. They failed to provide it. I had to take the issue up with my credit card company. E-Z Rent A Car has failed to provide the CC company adequate proof of the agreement as well but adamantly maintains I agreed to the charge. Never doing business with these crooks again.

Price of car rental. I rented the car for two months on January 9, 2019, the first month cost was $570.30 however the second month had jumped to $912.93 after having added another driver to the second month the price was 1300 and some odd dollars. The person at the desk explained that it was so high because of the season. I don’t believe. The cost should’ve been that different from the first month that I rented. I question if I will rent from this company again.

Great experience. This is an off-airport car rental, however everything worked and was delivered as expected. The price was so much better than every other company it suited our families budget perfectly for a small car to get us to the grandparents home, around town, and back with all our bags. The 3-day rental was less than a single Uber/Lift ride to our destination and back, so the flexibility of having the car during our time was a great benefit. The Car was amazing - brand new! Returning it was a breeze and van service to the airport was "too good" as we allowed extra time and they were waiting for us as we drove up and whisked us over to the terminal. I was totally happy with E-Z and will use it for our family trips now every time I can! Thanks E-Z!

I just rented a car from Sleezy Car Rental in Fort Myers. I told the clerk in plain English "I don't want extra insurance." Upon returning the car, I discover that I've been charged $137.45 for "Collision Damage Waiver" a product I explicitly told them I didn't want. Customer Service was the usual rabbit hole, with them claiming that I had signed for their rip off extra insurance. Shameful.

Rented a car for one month out of San Diego from E-Z car rental through CarRental8. The price was well below anything else available and I looked extensively for weeks prior to the trip. The bus to the rental center left within minutes of our arrival at the pickup point and when I arrived at the E-Z rental office there was no one in line ahead of me. The documentation process took about 5 minutes - likely because I had prepaid through CarRental8 - avoiding all the upgrade/insurance offers. I just had to pay E-Z the airport fees and taxes. I got the Camry I had asked for and it was clean and ready to go. Car ran perfectly for the month and drop off was 5 minutes like the pickup process. I've been renting cars for 40 years and this was hands down my best experience.

On our trip to Orlando, we hit a few speed bumps. We had a two hour delay at LaGuardia airport in New Jersey and ended up waiting a total of 5 hours there. We figured it was fine because we had a reservation. We get to the EZ car counter and nobody is there. We have to call an extension on the phone and find out that they sold out all of their cars! We won’t be able to get a car for another 2 hours (6 a.m.) and they tell us to just wait. Meanwhile we have to leave our hotel at 9 this morning. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!

We rented a car from E-Z from Jan 29th to March 5th. The online cost was $670. The actual cost at the desk was $840. The difference was a toll cost of $9.99 per day imposed on the rental. I explained we do not use toll roads as my wife hates them after an accident. They reduced the charge in half and charged us. But we did not use any toll roads during the five week stay. This is a scam! I would like the toll cost of $ refunded.

We rented a car from E-Z in Las Vegas. We were there for my daughter's softball tournament. After driving to our hotel to check in and drop off our stuff, we decided to make a trip to Walmart to pick up groceries for the next few days. As we were driving to Walmart, the power steering in the vehicle was going out. We decided, since it was so late, we would return to the hotel and return the car to the rental facility in the morning. The next morning, we left early, as my daughter had softball game. When we got into the car to leave, the battery in the car was dead and not because we left the lights on or anything. Immediately, I called customer service.
The guy on the phone told me that there was nothing he could do for me unless I could get the car running again and bring it back to the rental facility. Reminder, I am in a parking garage at a hotel in Las Vegas. They do not supply jumper cables in their rental cars. The guys on the phone told me to ask my "neighbor" if they had jumper cables. I reminded him that I was not from Vegas and did not have a "neighbor". He then said again that there was nothing he could do to help me. I ended up walking through the parking garage hoping to find someone who happened to be sitting in their car AND that had jumper cables. Luckily, we were able to find some very nice people to help us.
We returned the car and were given a different car. They very reluctantly removed the gas fee that you get when you return a car that does not have a full tank of gas. By the time we got all of this accomplished, we had missed one complete softball game which is the whole reason we had come to Vegas. At the end of the day, we returned to the hotel. The next morning, we went to leave the hotel parking garage and noticed that our "new" car had two flat tires on the right side of the vehicle. It was pouring rain, but we had no choice but to find the closest gas station to fill both tires. We were late AGAIN to the softball game. The front, right passenger side tire had a slow leak because we filled it up two more times before we returned the car the next morning.
When we returned the car, we told the man that checked it in about the tires and he acted like it was not a big deal. Upon returning to Nebraska, I called and filed a complaint (this person was very nice). However, I was never called back. I called to follow up and was told I was given a $20 discount on my rental. When I explained, again, all that we had been through and that I didn't think $20 made up for all of the trouble and missed game, I was treated very rudely by the man on the other end of the line and he hung up on me. I do NOT recommend anyone rent a vehicle from this company.

Don't rent from this company. I believe they do this hoping people will just let it drop because their customer support department has been taught to suck. Never again!

Rented a vehicle in Denver using Expedia. I was able to get a good price and it is company policy to get collision which I did on Expedia. I was waiting at the curb for the shuttle with about 15 other people. 20 minutes go by and we called the rental agency to see what was taking so long. They stated he would be there in a few minutes. He drove by and waved but would not stop because the shuttle was full. Another 10 minutes goes by and finally someone appears. Get to the rental car office and wait another 15 minutes to get to the counter. I show the agent my itinerary and he pulls it up and proceeds to process the transaction. He asks about collision and I state yes I purchased it. I get my car and I'm on my way.
I turn the car in and the person stated my receipt would be in my email. I never received it. In the meantime I reviewed my credit card statement and the transaction is $70 more than what I was suppose to pay. I called the rental car agency and they charged me the collision fee that expedia also had charged me. They stated you should have said something when checking in. I explained I did and they stated there was nothing they could do. Worse customer service I have ever seen.

One star is too much for this business. Person at the desk was rude and no hurry to get us on our way. We were first in line and after doing the paperwork we waited 45 minutes with no word from anybody. When I asked how much longer was told just a few minutes and if we wanted we could go eat at the restaurant next door! How much longer did you want us to wait!? We told them if the van wasn't ready in the next 5 minutes we would have to cancel. Van showed up, it was damaged in the front and the inside was a pig sty! Dirty, food bits everywhere and never vacuumed. We cancelled at that point, but sadly we were already 2.5 hours behind because to find this place was unclear and the 3 calls I made to the office, we got a different answer every time on how to get to the office. Never use this branch, terrible customer service and no respect for peoples time.

On a recent rental I clearly verbally declined any additional insurance, as well as their toll program and I would fill up the tank before returning. My daughter was with me and also verbalized that we did not want any add-ons. I expected NO additional charges. The agent at Orlando International Airport pushed us several times on all of these additions to which we said NO. Then he had me initial that I was declining any additional insurance. However, what I was initialing was actually the opposite... The paragraph is titled "Collision Damage Waiver"... I assumed I was initialing for what we had discussed...no additional insurance. Instead, I was agreeing to PAY for additional insurance at $28.49 per day!
I put the stapled up agreement in the glovebox and when I returned I happened to look at it and the cost was $200 in excess of my expectations! I feel this instance was scamming, and that I was falsely told to sign something that I assumed was waiving extra fees. The company is refunding 1/2 my money, putting 1/2 the fault on me for not noticing the bill before I returned the car and for signing something I hadn't read in full. I still believe this is unethical business to have me sign for something that I was very verbal about not wanting. The contracts are poorly written, unless they are written that way to catch other renters into purchasing insurance they originally declined. The agent was clear what we wanted so why would he instruct me to do the opposite? My recommendation: Do not use E-Z Rent-A-Car.

I have used E-Z before last minute and that works great, however, this time I wanted to make a slight change to my prepaid reservation. I knew I wouldn't be able to pick up my reservation within 24 hours, it was instead 26 hours after my original time, but I wanted the rental car to still be held for me to pick it up the next day, knowing that the price would not be altered. I had already rented the car for the two days and there should have been no problem for me to have it only 22 hours instead of 48 for the same (more expensive) price. When I called the customer service number long before the 24 hrs grace were up, I was told that nothing could be done. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told only a supervisor was in. I spoke to him, he left a note on my reservation explaining the situation, but said he could do nothing more.
When I called back later to try and speak with the manager, the women I talked to said that my situation didn't warrant a manager and the manager would not take my case. When I told her that as a customer I had the right to speak to a manager, she put me on hold for a while and then said he was in a meeting and again informed me that he wouldn't find the case such that he would take it. When I got to the airport and spoke to the man at the SAN desk, he was nice enough but said they had no cars and had resold mine because I was a no show. Again he said there was nothing he could do. I would have called that airport location, but there was only one customer service number and even the man at the airport desk said they didn't have numbers to call the individual location. This is a very ineffective system and I will not again be doing business with Advantage/E-Z.

I always shop for the best car rental, no matter who the company is. We've used EZ before with no issues. However, Phoenix was a mess. Not all EZ fault. We stood in line for almost an hour, there were 2 clerks and 1 in training. The most irritating issue were customers with continuous questions and reviewing their "contract". I am not sure how to remedy the problem, except to have a "manager" handle the problem customers, so the "regular" clerks can breeze through the "regular" car renters. The lady in front of us, literally took a half an hour. HALF AN HOUR!! I think we took 5 minutes. When we left, I would estimate the line was well over an hour long. Solution? If EZ is going to have the best rates, they need to have more employees to handle the overwhelming customers. Customers that are traveling have deadlines and committments and do not need to be spending two hours in a car rental line.

Told the man that I had purchased insurance for the rental through Alliance. He told me he would get me to a nice car quickly. Just sign and initial everything. Didn’t notice that he had charged me for insurance again. Called and wrote to EZ and asked for a refund. They have not responded. I am very upset with them. Traveling is tiring and stressful enough without being overcharged and stolen from.

We had a wonderful experience with this car rental. The shuttle arrived promptly to transport us to the rental counter. The employee was extremely polite and helpful. The personnel behind the counter were extremely courteous and polite. I was given a nicer vehicle than I reserved. The vehicle return was equally pleasant. The shuttle arrived promptly to return us to the airport. Again a very polite driver.

Great experience overall. The desk agent was very quick and helpful. When we realized we accidentally left my wife's purse on the shuttle, they made sure that it was returned to us safely. We even received an unexpected upgrade!

We were snowed in Boston, MA at the end of a 3 day anniversary get away. We had our debit cards but no credit due to being debt free. Unable to rent a car anywhere on our debit card. Janet I think was her name in the airport saw my fiance literally in tears and called her manager to get authorization. We got the car and drove the 7 hour trip and made it home in bed before our flight ever took off. We will always rent through y'all and Thank you very much!!!

I rented out of San Antonio airport in Jan 2019. My daughter was graduating from Air Force BMT. I reserved a full size SUV. Nine were available. The only thing that was available—a Dodge Minivan. Whew. I hate minivans with a passion and to have to tool around the base in one sucked. Other than that, I’ve rented from E-Z all over the place and will continue most likely.

Read online the dissatisfaction of many EZ Advantage renters when they found themselves on "boothless" toll roads across the US. The tolls seem fair but EZ Advantage tacks on a $25 "administrative" fee PER TOLL, one of the highest of fees charged by any of the car rental agencies. GPS directed me onto the toll road E470 after leaving the Denver airport. I could find nothing about what the toll would be or where I would be if I exited the toll road since there are no toll booths, so nobody to ask, just cameras recording license plates. EZ charged my credit card (with no explanation about what the extra charge was) $37.80.
After several calls I was directed to customer service (in Guatemala!) where I learned that my fairly short drive around one side of Denver was what they called a "violation" but was really the toll charge. It turned out that the toll was only $12.80, but EZ charged an administrative fee of $25 for a transaction that is all handled electonically! The administrative charge has become another profit line for EZ. BUYER BEWARE!--choose another car rental agency!

I choose car rentals based on the size and price. Most of my rentals are in Denver Colorado. If I am alone in the summer a small car works. In the Winter the preferred cars are usually larger to fit a few friends with ski gear. E-Z had the best price on a full size car for a 3 week trip this January. The car was covered in dents from hail storms and the front bumper was not completely attached on the right side. There was a visible gap where it was not aligned.
If I was on a business trip visiting clients it would have been embarrassing - But I was on a 3 week road trip to ski. After a few days on the road the car was completely covered in grime, snow and ice. No worries for me! I always inspect the tire tread when picking up a car. That is more important. I know the hail storms in Denver are brutal and the repair shops are overwhelmed. Maybe the rental companies could have a scratch and dent rental rate to save me even more money! I will use E-Z again.

Gentleman at counter made checking out car easy. Only issue I had was car given to me was missing back cover of driver’s side mirror- they didn’t note it but I had them put it down as damaged on my paperwork- mirror should have been repaired before going out. Car wasn’t thoroughly cleaned before I rented it, had dirty napkins and bottle caps left from previous renter. Price was fair and checking out was easy as was return.

When I got to the counter I was told that I need 4 wheel drive in the mountains due to weather conditions and I was upgraded without a problem. They help me find a discount that would cover most of the upgrade too. The vehicle was brand new and processing time to get the vehicle was quick. The only issue I’d say is that they need more shuttles to the airport as we waited quite a while for the bus. Overall I’d give them a thumbs up and rent from them again.

Had to wait well over an hour in the heat with everyone else. The car had to be cleaned they said. When we did get it, it was still dirty!!! With a car lot full of cars you’d think they would be better prepared.

Not enough agents to quickly serve the number of clients waiting in line. It took over an hour to get the car. The rate was great and that probably contributed to the long line but they should have calculated the number of reservations and staffed accordingly.

That was my first experience of renting a car in the US and it was quite successful - I received good explanations of options and possible ways to avoid problems, the receptionist explained to me the system of toll roads and car insurance. So it helped me to make the right decision of renting the right type and size of a car.

I would’ve given the rating a five star but the airport shuttle wait exceeded the stated time and other companies were picking up more frequently. We stood there while we’re coming and leaving before a shuttle ever came. Our shuttle was instantly full and we had to pass many others while in route.

I was attacked by an E-Z rental employee, the company didn’t take it seriously and Eric a supervisor was very rude and wouldn’t disclose what they even did, even with a video of the incident. I would never expect a company to have such low standards.

With E-Z I had all those things and more! When I arrived, the air pressure in one tire was a little low. They immediately (I didn’t have to wait in line again!) gave me a different, better car for the same price. They apologized for the inconvenience and sent me on my way. No questions, no problems.

The lady at checkout was so friendly and we had a great discussion. I actually didn't need the car as long as it had been booked for so she updated the reservation and I was not charged the extra day - GREAT way to get my business in the future! The gentleman at the exit was absolutely amazing. Very charismatic and I wished I lived in the area to see these people more often. Kudos to the person doing the hiring for this company! Even the bus drivers were very personable and helped with directions.

Overall the rental process was easy however the figure I was given at check in was about 115 dollars less than what I was actually charged. E-Z tacked on insurance that I did not ask for, convenience fees, environmental fees etc so while I was told my bill would be about 115 it was more like 230. This was not explained to me at check in so ASK before you rent!

I reserved the car through Expedia, and in the reservation was a total due, including ALL taxes and fees. When I got to the counter the lady asked me several times if I wanted insurance, recommended that I get insurance, and really wanted me to have insurance. I declined everything she tried to up sell me on, including navigation, toll pass, a bigger car, an SUV, and whatever else they can charge you for. After declining everything, she said, "OK, I'll be right with you". Then I was told to initial and sign a tiny electronic pad, as she told me what I was signing. This is one is that your declining full coverage, this one is declining this and that. So after initialing and signing about 15 times, I was able to get my car.
Upon returning the car, after the gentlemen checked me in he said, "OK all is good", and he would email me a receipt. I said great and ran for the door, as it was -25 degrees outside. Upon getting my bill it was higher than my reservation had promised. I called and they said, "Oh that's because you had purchased roadside assistance for every day of your vehicle to the tune of $7.99 per day." I said, "No I did not, I specifically declined every thing she offered." The only resolution was that they would review with the manager at the location, and I may get a refund. E-Z & advantage aren't the only companies to do this, as I've rented with them all. If I wasn't as diligent as I am in checking charges on my cc, I would've been screwed yet again by the rental car industry.

Rented a car in Phoenix for a few days, returned the car with a full tank of gas, the company billed me, saying it was at 1/4 tank. When I called to complain, they want me to send them a copy of the receipt or credit card statement showing the purchase. Why?? Your employees check the car in and can see the gas meter?? Unbelievable, this company truly sucks!!

I rented a car on January 11th while visiting my son at the Olympic training center. I was told at the counter by Megan, when I returned the car I would not need to come into the building, I could leave the car with the attendant that assisted me and just head over to the shuttle. I returned the car on January 14th as promised. When I pulled up the attendant told me to leave the car running and make sure I had all of my belongings. She was typing into the handheld device and taking a great deal of time. We were running late for our plane and needed to catch the shuttle in the front parking lot which was almost done loading. I asked her how long it would take because we were running late, she then told me, "No worries. I’ll finish up here and we always email the receipt."
We got on the shuttle they provided and headed to the airport. A week later I receive a letter in the mail saying I didn’t return the vehicle. But then said to disregard the letter if I did return it. The next morning I received an emailed invoice stating that I kept the car an additional 11 days and a charge of over $600!! I called the company and was asked if I had proof I returned it, I explained what the attendant and Megan told me and was told they would put a complaint in... I couldn’t believe it!!! So a $40 weekend rental has now turned into a $690 rental... I now have to dispute the charges with my bank and deal with a fraud investigation. Also waiting on My money to be returned and a call from their complaint department due to the fact that they stole $600 from me!!! (Side note: my invoice also states I only drove 4 miles with the car the entire weekend and the “11 extra days” they claimed I had it.) Sounds like fraud to me!!!

I booked my car rental reservation through Expedia, which showed $171.42 and included all mileage and charges. However, E-Z later billed me $274.47, which is an overcharge of $103.05. E-Z claims it is a mileage charge because I was a local renter, which I was not. The car had never gone any farther than 15 miles from the rental pick-up location, and hadn't used a half-tank of fuel the entire time. How can any car rental business charge a mileage fee when the car is meant to be driven, regardless of how many miles?
The vehicle had a front-end alignment problem, causing the car to dart back and forth on the freeway. The car was also dirty inside and out. The windshield was so spotted, the wipers wouldn't clean it in the rain. They also didn't provide the key fob remote, which meant the vehicle always had to be unlocked with the mechanical key from the driver's door.

Something strange happened to me. I noted a small scratch when I received it and I returned the car without an issue. A few weeks later I received an email from their insurance asking for a statement. I got full coverage so It wasn't a problem. But it is kind of strange. Nothing happened when I was driving and I'm not inconvenienced by it. But it does make me uneasy.

I rented a minivan for a family trip to Disney in December. I was extremely satisfied with the pick-up and drop off process as well as the service at the counter. Van was clean and ready to go. I had waived the rental of the highway toll pass ($9.95) per day because I knew it wouldn't be necessary. I could just pay the few tolls I had to pass as needed and would save money.
However, a few weeks later upon review of my credit card I noticed a charge of $52.51 by Advantage Rental. I contacted them to see what it was for and they informed me it was for 2 tolls and a miscellaneous $50.00 fee. I assured them that I had paid my tolls and disputed the charges. They told me that they agreed but were only authorized to remove the $50.00 fee and couldn't remove the $2.51 toll fees (which I had paid at $1.75). I was very disappointed not only because I believe this was unethical but more so because my brother in law also came with us and rented from your company and he had the same issue... Only his was an $82.00 charge for tolls! I was informed at the check-in counter to make sure the toll pass was in the OFF position...which I did...twice. Not happy.

This staff was so accommodating. They made sure I was comfortable with the car and even made sure it was clean and ready for me. I will definitely be a return customer. P.S. The only issue was that they gave me a car with a quarter of gas, and charged me when I returned it with the same. BUT, the quickly refunded my money when they realized their mistake. Good service!

Shuttle picked me up as expected. There was no wait. The staff was very knowledgable. The Service was great. They upgraded my vehicle. Same returning the vehicle. I had a great experience again with EZ car rental. I highly recommend them and would use them again. They were half the price of everyone else.

With the one exception of the one hour line up to get the pre-booked vehicle, the rental was great. I think with a couple of more clerks during the high peak arrival your service could be deemed top notch. The line up was frustrating after a long flight... We let the manager chose what we drove and the van was excellent, clean, easy to drive and comfortable. The return area is so easy and brilliant. (Drive in, leave it running go catch your flight.)

The location to pick up the car at Orlando McCoy airport is very confusing. The person that assigns the car doesn't go over it with you. You are told to write down everything you see as far as damage. If you miss anything, you are held responsible even if you didn't cause it. They had a company call me to "negotiate" a settlement for windshield damage. We settled on $118. For that small amount they have lost a customer and created a consumer that will give them poor reviews and tell everyone he knows not to rent from them. In my opinion they will lose much more than $118 in future business, but that is their call. Pennywise and pound foolish. Make sure you are meticulous when you check your car before driving away. Anything you miss they will insist you be responsible for.

The insurance that EZ Offers is more expensive than the daily rental... Whaaaaat a RIP off... When I rented from Expedia the car and the insurance, the same amount of time it was $50 lower... and on top of it, I was given a warning ticket from DPS for defective taillights. Never again will I get from Ez... That's why people don't trust companies. We always have to look out...

We had reservations in Orlando with another car rental company. Got in at 9pm and it was taking customers over 1 and 1/2 hours to get to the counter for your car. We asked the manager on duty at the desk if they had any available cars, he said yes. For the convenience paid for the rental, rather than wait for the other company that we paid through travel points. Overall it was a great experience through this company. Highly recommend them!

Car wasn't what I reserve. The car I got had engine light and steering wheel shakes. Car was dirty also. Next day was changed. I always rented from EZ but won't again in the future and won't recommend them to anyone. I wish I could rate them 0 stars.

During the process of the contract, I informed the agent I have my own insurance that cover rental car. Then he said the price is $311 without insurance. I electronically signed and expected that I don’t have to pay an insurance from your company. There was no details of the amount due until the contract printed. I noticed later on there is charge of $127 for insurance even though I knowledge I have my insurance and I even show him my policy but he did not bother to take a copy of it.
After noticing the charge, there was no help from customers service through the phone. Told me to go to the location I Picked the car from for an arrangement to solve the problem. Went to the location I picked the car from, manager was rude and did not do any good. From my understanding of the situation, the agent did intentionally tricked me when I signed because there was no details for the charges. I will never be a customer again due to the type of treatment of Orlando Airport location.

I will NEVER EVER use E-Z Rent-A-Car and NEVER recommend it to anyone. My rate from 1 to 5 is really 0 (ZERO). I have several reasons for my comment as below: I rent the car via 3rd party website for 2 days at Montreal Airport (Jan 3~5, 2019), before I book it, it did not say that I need a shuttle to go to the E-Z location. I had to call EZ rent a car to send me mini van to their location. I had booked a "Nissan Altima" but they gave me a Nissan Venza which is a size smaller than Altima. Once I complained the person who was working there told me, "This is what it is." I was out of Airport now and did not have any other options.
The only staff who was working there was the rudest person I have ever seen in my whole life. I had booked my care to drop off the car at 6:00 pm. They surprisingly told me if I return the car after 5 pm I have to pay extra $30 and need to use Airport shuttle for return to Airport. Once I got the car it was covered under at least 1 inch snow, they only swiped the windshield. I was not even able to see if the car is fine with no damage. The car engine light was on and also alerting for tire low pressure, also the oil change was more than a month overdue.
I manage to return the car at 4:40 pm (which is before 5 pm). They were about to leave, they told me I need to get to the Airport by Taxi because their working hours is till 4:30!!! After my argument they accepted to return me but the driver was very mad and was driving unsafe and very fast. He never stopped at stop signs and was passing the cars when the line was solid!!! Their service, their car and their shuttle are terrible and unsafe, I am not sure why and how they are doing business. Please never use them, they are dangerous for society and have no idea what customer service is.

I reserved a mid-size car for pickup at the Phoenix Airport. Upon arrival, and after a long wait in line, I was told no mid-size cars were available. Instead of offering a full size car at the same price, which reputable rental companies do, the clerk said the wait was unknown, but I could pay more for a full sized car and no wait. Or, I could rent an SUV for more money. I declined the offer, and insisted on getting what I had reserved. After several attempts to get me to pay more, the clerk finally said he had a car for the price I agreed to. Then, they charged my credit card $200 plus the agreed upon rental amount. After signing the papers, I went to the basement to their cubicle where I was given the keys to one of several Camrys. I was told to record any damage to the car on a 5X7 sheet of paper with a vehicle outline on it.
After doing that I took the paper back and was told to record all the damage on a second paper for their records, which I did. Upon return to the drop off point, at the end of my trip, and waiting 30 minutes for the one check-in person, she recorded the return on an iPad like tablet then sent me back to the cubicle. The clerk there said the check-in person hadn't forwarded the check-in yet and I could either wait or leave then and they would forward the receipt to my email. I requested a receipt but couldn't wait because of my flight time, so a partial receipt was printed, which, of course, didn't show the extra charge.
Upon returning home and checking my email, to my surprise, I had been charged the full sized car rate. Ordinarily I could have disputed the charge with my credit card company, but the "charge" to my account was actually a credit for $200 minus the extra charge I didn't agree to. This company is running a bait-and-switch operation! Do not rent from them, their prices seem like a good deal, but don't be fooled as I was. Never again!!

I rented a car for 4 days over the holidays at Sacramento airport. Due to flight changes/delays we returned the vehicle 4 hours after the time it was due incurring an additional day charge. The original rental charge was $85/day for a compact car (already about 4x the usual due to holiday demand). The additional day charge was $170. I called to question the excessive charge and was told that's what I signed on to and there was nothing they could do about it. I will never rent from this company again and you should think twice before you do.

When I received my credit card bill a month later I fell out of my chair! How is there a toll fee charge on my statement when there was no toll road to use where I was? I was very upset and tried calling the dispute line. Of course by the time I got through the automated system it hung up on me several times that I tried getting through. $27.00 fee for a toll that I didn't use. Tells me how mysterious car rental places like this one will try to get more money out of you without reason. Hidden truth hidden flaw. Very unhappy customer!

Shuttle ride was unexpected, but not a huge deal. Office was a little run down, again, not a huge deal. I declined all upgrades, was shocked to get a bill that was more than my actual rental amount. I was charged for collision and roadside assistance. Never had a rental agency add in fees that were declined! They will obviously say that I signed and agreed to this. So I am not expecting any action from the agency. I am only writing this to warn other consumers to not use this company!

Reserved a Toyota Camry for our Denver Colorado trip, we went to pick it up and the salesperson showed us a piece a paper saying that there was storm coming and that we either needed a 4-wheel drive or chains and that it was a law! Well, we didn’t want to break the law, so we paid for a 4-wheel drive and little did we know that we were paying for an upgrade. Our $500 rental went up to $1600. So then our sales rep handed us our papers and said our car was a Toyota RAV4, I didn’t think they came in 4 wheel drive but I was giving him the benefit of doubt and so we loaded up and drove away trying to find out how to put it into 4-wheel drive. It did not have it!
We drive back and told him that’s this was not a 4-wheel drive and I was doing my best to remain polite, he pointed to the paperwork and said that it was supposed to be a 4 wheel drive and that it misrepresented, he then got on his computer, printed out paperwork and gave us a Chevy Tahoe. I later found out that the same place did that same thing to another member of my family. Be wary of these guys. I called customer service and issued a complaint and he told me that a manager would call me back in 24-48 hours to discuss. We will see.

I learned my lesson that you get what you pay for when it comes to car rentals. I booked EZ because it was the cheapest and I've never had a problem with car rental agencies. When I arrived at the desk to pick up the car, the rep misrepresented the amount of tolls and the toll payment process in order to sell me a toll transponder for $9.99 a day. They also misrepresented the cost of gas in the area in order to sell me the gas pre-pay option. When I raised these issues, they said that this kind of behavior was unacceptable and not part of what they do.
After I came home, I looked at the reviews and it's exactly what they do. Many reviews with the same exact complaints. At the end of the trip, because I was 90 minutes late getting to the airport, they charged me an extra $150 which was 3X what I paid for the daily rate. On top of that, a week later they made an authorized charge on my credit card with no warning, no email, no receipt. Also, no response to my emails to customer service and the rep that I was working with to resolve previous issues. Their phone line is often so busy, I've waited an hour and have had to hang up. Take it from someone who travels a lot. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. In the end, it would have been cheaper to go to Alamo.

Was disappointed with the final bill. I had called prior to picking up the rental about no hidden taxes or fees and when I got my final bill it was $150+ more than my rental confirmation. I know rental companies have fees and taxes associated with airports but that should be on the initial confirmation. I called in to confirm that my initial confirmation was the final amount and the Customer service representative confirmed that was my final amount 2 days prior to starting my rental period.

$200 deposit gone, said I paid for collision damage!!! Save yourself a lot of headache, stay away from E-Z Rent-A-Car and associates. I am getting no upper management resolving this for the past six days. I told salesman I had my own insurance coverage by GEICO, he said okay. He never mentioned that he was charging me for it when I signed. At no time I was told anything about that, there was absolutely no discussion relating to insurance purchase. I ordered my rental online the night before and planned for about $180 total cost. At signing, when I saw my total for additional $200, I asked him, he said, that is for deposit that he was charging me that I would get refunded at time of return of vehicle; last two customer care person I talked to on last couple of days offered 50% refund instead of full refund. I will not settle for anything less than full refund.
Due to poor signs at the point of check in took me three loops around airport to finally find return area which caused me under an hour late for check in as I waited in line to get help at the point of check in and a second line for final checking line as well. Waited nearly two hours in line to get checked in same at return time. Also had mechanical problem with the car that took two hours from my time to resolve, got charged for extra day and extra day of insurance that I did not order. They have caused me extreme stress as result of this, salesman was dishonest to add stuff without mentioning it and get rewarded by your company. As customer it is terrible that you have to go through this. Why would the salesman add exactly $200 to my online order and calling it deposit? I have been missing sleep for all the thought that goes through my mind in dealing with this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

November 6, in Austin, I went in to pick up my compact car and was informed it was manager special, compact or larger. As I planned on driving quite a few miles in the 7 days, I reluctantly paid the $22 per day upgrade to get a small car. I was so unhappy the fellow at the desk agreed to waive the $200 deposit and crossed it out. The total was supposed to be $673.75, a shocking almost $100 a day. On November 13, one day after I returned the car. $873.75 was charged to my card. The phone number on my credit card account was not valid. I went to the website and twice I have called and went through the selection offers to finally get to music and be on hold one half hour. I can spare no more time on this. I want my $200 back!

Hello, I recently made a quick trip up to Seattle, WA area, arriving on Nov. 6th. Having previously used E-Z Car Rentals in Florida, I booked my car reservation with E-Z Rental Cars at the Seattle airport. My flights were on time and upon arrival to the E-Z rental counter, I was greeted very rudely and told that the car was no longer available that I had reserved. Reason they said was is that they claim I should've already picked the car up. I reserved it to be picked up at 12:01 pm., they claim it was am. Bottom line, is now there I was and instead of even attempting to accommodate me in any way in finding me any type of car, they couldn't have been more nasty or treated me more rudely. No effort was made in any way to even attempt to accommodate me.
I told them I had used E-Z rentals before, but made no difference to them whatsoever. I then told them to cancel any pending reservation, that I would go to the next counter over, which was Thrifty Car Rentals, whereupon I did so and was treated with the utmost respect and welcoming attitude! They could have cared less! I will never rent a car from E-Z again, and I will make sure friends I know do not either. l Unfortunately, I did not get the particular girl's name who was extremely rude, but basically everyone there was the same, making no attempt at customer satisfaction.

I rented from E-Z Rent-A-Car in Toronto Airport. THESE ARE THIEVES!!! They made me buy the so-called comprehensive insurance when I rented a car from them. Upon return of the car, they “found” a mark on the underside of the bumper. They said the comprehensive insurance was not meant to cover that. When I asked them repeatedly to give a summary of the coverage - the staff said he could not do that. Then they said I could file the claim to VISA. They demanded an $800 deposit for the damage. They promised to refund the $800 as soon as we gave them the claim number from VISA. We called VISA then gave him the claim number. The staff said he could not credit the $800 to our card because the manager was out. He promised to credit it back to our card the following day.
We had a flight to catch (and they knew it). So we had to go. Now that was more than 6 weeks ago. When we called for the refund last week, they further asked us to call for the $800, and refused to return the deposit. I think what happened was: (1) there was NEVER any comprehensive insurance – knowing we paid by VISA, they just pocketed the premium without doing anything (2) they always could “find” some scratch in the inconspicuous areas of the car (3) They make you pay for the damage knowing you have a flight to catch, so they are double-dipping both the insurance premium and the damage (4) They promise to refund the deposit but never intended to keep that promise. This could be a case of criminal fraud. I will certainly report to the police if I live in Toronto. I live 400 miles away in Vancouver with very little option. They operate under several names: Fox Rent A Car, E-Z Rent-A-Car, GHT Cars – thieves just the same.

Not very good experience at SLC Airport location. Never will use them again. Fairly clean good car, but if using an intermediary like EconomyBookings.com be ready to demonstrate them that you already paid some in advanced, they don't have any knowledge about this kind of webpages and what is already included. Their insurance is really pricey. It seems that the cheap cost of rental is the carrot to attract customers and then hit your pockets with the insurance. The $200 deposit fee have never returned to my credit card, still waiting... and the staff is unprofessional and doesn't has a clue of what they are doing.

Reserved full size car--none available--company won't allow customer to get a lesser vehicle--was told I could have a VAN instead no extra charge--paid more to get a medium SUV--was told getting gas thru E-Z was smarter/cheaper but customer is always charged for full tank regardless of fuel level upon return. Not a good feeling about this company.

True no frills. Cars are more base model, maybe a year older than the other guys, and not always perfect. However, the service is always courteous, car is ready, and clean with a full tank of gas. Never had a problem with them. Will always use EZ Rent-a-Car when I get to pick the rental company.

At 11:30pm we were told that the Sonata we requested was not available and were offered a Subaru Outback 2019 for an increase of $60 over the quoted price of the Sonata. As my own car is a 2015 Outback I agreed. We were told that it was brand-new and "had all the extras" except "eye-sight". It was late and dark and we took it without checking it out. We were also told it was a 3.6 model, as is mine. It turned out to be a 2018 basic model with damage to the tail- gate, apparently caused by a large amount of tape. On top of all that we were charged $80 not the $60 we had agreed to. We will never use E-Z or Advantage Car Rental again.

I rent a lot from you. I usually get the Toyota Camry. This time you gave me a Kia. Not only was the car far less superior then the Toyota seems you bought it from the Orlando auction. It was dirty. Had all the stickers on the windows from the auction and from Kia finance. Car was not clean and shook when you got to 50 mph. Unfortunately I took the car to Tampa and had to keep it the whole week. Your people should be ashamed to have allowed car in that condition to be out for use. Probably won't use your company again and will tell all my people not to as well.

The bus from the airport to the office took almost an hour to arrive. We had to wait in line for another hour to get our car. The car tire was flat, and we had to wait for it to get air in it. There were extra fees added to the price of the car that were unexpected. The only good thing was the customer service. Nice people working there, doing a good job, unbelievably poor management. Intolerable to put people through that.

Outstanding service except outside rearview mirror cover was missing. No one walked around the car to confirm prior damages. Checking with the booth the attendants just said they knew and it was noted in the computer. Had to insist it be written on the contact. On return the first thing the attendant asked for was a pink walk around slip. Which we didn’t have. Fortunately, we had the damage noted on the contact. Other than that very pleased with the service and the car.

Vehicle and staff were excellent. Only issue was upon my arrival to the off-site location to pick up my vehicle was 1.5 hour wait in line to get served. It seems the staff was very expeditious in their work but the real issue is not enough staff. l to meet the demand. As it was around the noon it looked like factoring lunch breaks was an issue. Frankly knowing your rental bookings and arrival time asked when reserving the vehicle this should not occur. This was not just a few people out sick or no show for work. This was a schedule and staffing issue.

9 times out of 10 I rent from EZ when I travel to Fort Lauderdale. The lines are usually short and service is good. The cars are very basic without high end options but they are fine for a 10 day rental. Prices are usually fair but tend to rise out of control during popular weeks. Some rental companies let you pick a car from a lineup. EZ does not. I would prefer that but they are OK about switching to a different car if you do not like the one that you are assigned.

Was a great experience. From the moment we walked up to the counter to the moment we returned the car it was so easy! My reservation was ready when we got there and the girl at the counter was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I regret I didn't get her name because she deserves a big shout out! We were in and out in no time. The car was clean and ran beautifully. Drop off was just as simple; no hassle at all, even though the car was filthy. The 2nd driver free promotion was an added bonus. The cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use EZ Car Rental whenever in travel in the future.

So the price was great, until I got there. The shuttle was dirty and smelled. When I walked inside it was nasty, the place needs to be cleaned up, painted, clean the Dang floors. Then you walk into the bathrooms that looks like they haven’t been cleaned ever!!! The van they gave me was dirty and covered in dings and scratches. I wasn’t thrilled at all.

The staff was very helpful in finding us an SUV that had navigation since we were in a new place. Our rental car was brand new and nicer than anything we could ever own. We would definitely recommend this place to others and their price was very comparable.

When I arrived to pick up my rental car at LAX I waited for 65 minutes in line and then when I got to the customer service rep she told me they did not have a small car for me that I reserved. I was told I could have a minivan or large SUV. After waiting another 15 minutes she was able to get me a vehicle that was a mid-size I believe. I will never rent from EZ again.

I am 76 years old and I had to stand in line for over an hour to check in which aggravated my spinal stenosis. Should provide chairs! I have never in my 55 years of renting cars ever had to wait in anywhere near that long at any of the many rental companies that I have used. This was my first and probably last experience with your company.

When we arrived in Nashville we were able to quickly and easily navigate our way to the EZ Rental kiosk. The young gentleman who was the service representative was very pleasant and quickly processed our vehicle and directed us as to where to pick up the vehicle. We found the our rental with ease and the whole process from beginning to end took less than half an hour and we were on our way to our adventure in Nashville. Again, very quick and easy return. Very happy overall with service, quality and value.

Car was clean and ready for pickup as request. Desk service was great, arrived within 20 minutes we were on our way. We booked a GMC Acadia, received a Kia instead. I mentioned this to the counter rep. His reply was they don't carry the Acadia. So why not just list the Kia on their website.

I was rushed into signing a contract that included charges for additional insurance that I had specifically declined, twice. When I saw the contract and asked if there were any charges on it that were optional, the associate said no with the exception of the pre-pay toll plan. She intentionally misled me and took advantage of me being tired and relying on her to explain a contract she was dishonest about. Very disappointed!

I rented a car in Orlando this week. When I went to the counter to get my car I was lied to. I was told I had to pay extra for the toll roads in the area. I was told I had no choice and "good luck" leaving the airport if I didn't. We have been in Orlando four days now with no tolls. LIARS. I will never use this company again.

I just returned from SLC where, I rented a beautiful car. The car was awesome, the employees were great. 1st However, due to the process or the lack of employees, it took me 1 hr to get my car. I was late to Dr. appt. 2nd I just got my receipt and they claimed I returned my car 2 hours late. I watched the employee check in my car before the shuttle took us to the terminal. I have a photo at the airport 1 hr and 30 minutes before they claimed I returned my car. Honestly this is huge for me. Integrity is #1. I can't recommend this company and even though their prices and cars are awesome, I can't run around getting my money back for false charges.

Reserved a large SUV rental 6 weeks in advance from FLL Airport (Fort Lauderdale, FL) as I have 5 children and need a vehicle large enough to accommodate all safely. Upon arrival at 7:15pm was told "We don't have any large SUVs available" and after the employee went back and forth to the parking lot twice, was then told "We have some small SUVs available" Again...I reserved a large SUV well in advance since I have 5 children, who were there with me. Then was told "We will have a few minivans available after 8:30 and will have to clean them" Which at this point I would have had to wait for at least another hour, probably more. So, in the end, I went to a different company who could immediately accommodate my rental and was quickly taken care of and on my way. Needless to say, I will never reserve or rent from EZ Rent-a-car as this was an awful experience.

I've booked a rental car with E-Z twice now, once at DFW and once at LAX. Worst car rental experience of my life, twice over. Both times, I was required to wait in line at the service desk for almost 2 hours before getting up to the counter to rent my vehicle (and both times I had a reservation in advance). They also misrepresent the charges at the time of booking to trick you into booking with them (if you book at car online, the price won't include any taxes or fees) - both times I booked with E-Z, I specifically did so to save money, and both times the actual cost turned out to be approximately $100 more expensive once I arrived to pick up the car (i.e., same price as any other such business like, Enterprise, Hertz, etc.).
The service rep also charged me for my husband as a second driver and for the gas tank refill despite the fact that I said "no" to both. The car we rented this last time at LAX was also disgusting, as if they hadn't cleaned the upholstery since it returned from the last customer (black marks and something white spilled all over the back seats)--I only took it because I'd already been waiting 2 hours. This place has to be, hands-down, the absolute worst car rental business in America. This place ruined my day (twice!), and they'll ruin your too if you give them a chance.

While renting a car from E-Z Rent-A-Car in Seattle in August, we ended up going over a toll bridge on which there were no manned booths to pay toll in cash. We just received a bill for $29.90 from Rent A Car Tolls, the company that collects the tolls for E-Z Rent-A-Car, $4.90 for the toll and a $25 processing fee. A $25 processing fee for one $4.90 toll seems excessive and is higher than the processing fee charged by other car rental companies. When I called to offer to pay a reasonable rate rather than $25, Rent A Car Tolls said they understand why I would be upset about the charge, but E-Z Rent-A-Car refuses to reduce the price to a more reasonable charge. This is very disappointing for a company that supposedly has no hidden fees. I would not rent from them again.

EZ Rental Car. San Antonio Airport. 9559 Airport Blvd. San Antonio TX US 78216. My name is Lawanda ** and I rented a vehicle from EZ rental under rental invoice #** from 08/27/18 - 09/03/18. Upon review of my credit card statement, I discovered an additional unrecognized fee in the amount of $326.49 that had been charged by EZ rental. As a result, on 09/21/18, I completed a follow-up phone consult with an EZ Rental Rep regarding the additional charges. At that time, I was informed that my credit card had been charged for cleaning fees. My inquire on 09/21/18, resulted in the receipt of an itemized invoice which included the cleaning fee of $326.49. Prior to 09/21/18, I was not issued an invoice or made aware of any cleaning fees.
The vehicle was returned fueled, cleaned and without incident. Upon return of the vehicle, the EZ REP completed a on site return inspection and at that time there was no acknowledgement of any potential cleaning incurrences. When I rented the vehicle it had just been returned and minimally cleaned and refueled. In fact, I removed the remaining contents which where left by the military personnel whom were likely the previous renters. As indicated on 09/21/18, I am not in agreement with the deceptive and excessive fee charged for the alleged cleaning. The cleaning fee is unwarranted and if there were concerns it should have been disclosed prior to the close of the rental transaction.The cost of cleaning fee exceeds the cost of the rental.
It is unconscionable for EZ Rental to assess the alleged cleaning fee without due diligence. I disagree with the additional and unexpected fee of $326.49 being charged to my credit card without my acknowledgement. I am requesting the reversal of the charges assessed to my Capital One Credit card in the amount of $326.49. Capital One has already been informed of the concern and I am hopeful of reaching an amicable resolution with this matter. Thanks in advance.

It took over an hour to get to get to the service desk. When you're already at 10pm to the airport, the last thing you want to do is have to wait in an extremely long line in order to get your rental car. E-Z Rent-a-Car should really look into staffing more appropriately. The car itself was a basic model and in good condition. I didn't have any mechanical problems or issues returning the car.

The car I rented had a very bad vibration on the highway. I notified the service dept and they were very quick to get me a replacement car. (1st car I've ever rented that didn't come with a key FOB to remotely unlock the doors.) I am a little disappointed that E-Z rental does not have a better system for charging customers for toll road use. Many other rental companies have adopted new policies that allow payment of tolls as used. E-Z rental charges a flat fee for each day the car is used. That means I paid $40 for approx $6 worth of tolls. COME ON E-Z RENT-A-CAR... GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND STOP THIS TOLLWAY SCAM.

I rented twice within 2 weeks. Once was at LAX and the other was at SEA. Both of these experiences could have been so much better. Wait time - 1 hr at LAX and 20 minutes at SEA. Rental process - Slow in both places (it is obvious that your company uses an antiquated rental system, since most information entered online, yet it still takes 15-20 minutes per customer to complete a rental transaction). Extra Driver - Free at LAX and EXPENSIVE (over $10/day) at SEA. Vehicles - Vehicle was too large at LAX and ideal size vehicle at SEA. Gas Use - Used lots more gas at LAX and the expected amount at SEA. Online Account - Unable to modify my email address in your antiquated system (I had to create a new account in order to change my email address).

Upon arrival to location I found a 2 hour wait in line with no Kiosk to better serve customers. After 2 hours on line patiently I got a car. The car had NO keys so back in I went. They offered a free upgrade which I took to only get into new car yet that new car was dented and scratched up. I didn’t complain because now I’m 2 1/2 hours behind in my schedule appointments. Customer service was excellent with all the customers complaining in line and did best they could. But honestly this location needs to be brought to the 21st century and cars need to be better condition. Return was the only EZ part of EZ go.

Waited over 2 hours to pick up the vehicle at Denver airport. Very long line and only two people on duty. The E-Z Rental facility was extremely dirty and the chairs in the waiting area were broken. The vehicle was dirty and there were several numbers/letters on the windows of the car that could not be cleaned off. It was late at night when I picked up the vehicle and I did not notice that the car had temporary plates on it that was going to expire in two days. This was a nine day rental, so I had to return to E-Z Rental and exchanged vehicles. This was the worst rental company that I have ever used. Would never recommend this company.

E-Z Rent-A-Car rescued us when the other company we had reservations with made a change to our reservation that made is unable to use them. E-Z was able to match the price and get us a fantastic rental in 10 minutes. The customer service was wonderful from the counter to the return. The car was incredible, clean, great mileage (saving us gas money), nice looking, and easy to drive. I have driven SUVs for 10 years and this car made me rethink my preference. We were extremely thankful for everything!

I was disappointed to get the Kia Soul. I regret not taking photos but luggage for 4 will not fit in a Kia Soul. There is very little trunk space. I was previously told that 4 would fit but that's not true. I will not use E-Z again.
