Just recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel, South, it was the most terrible experience I have ever had at an Embassy Suite, this was in El Segundo, Los Angeles close to the Airport. It was going through renovations, the staff were rude, I did not meet one staff member that was nice, the breakfast, was cold, there were flies all over the place. The front desk staff was the worst, tried to get answers about the parking and was given different information depending on who you spoke with. I had my elderly mother-in-law with us, they directed us to the wrong elevator in the parking structure, which required several phone calls to the front desk, just to be told there is a sign saying a certain elevator was only for construction people, there were NO signs indicating that whatsoever.
A room with 2 Queen beds, does not allow for anyone to walk around the bed to get into them, the beds are so close to the walls, you can't get through. They charge you $42.00 a day to park your vehicle in their lot. The hotel is old, I was grateful the elavators worked. I would most definitely not stay here again. The Residence Inn is a much better hotel, their staff are friend, the rooms are exceptional. Embassy Suite, South, lost an ongoing client.

We visited Irving Tx for the weekend of July 28. We stayed at the Embassy located at 4650 Airport Fwy. First night we didn’t have enough towels. We call down to front desk and ask for more and never received them. We go to front desk and they say they do not have any. WTF‼️⁉️ The air in the room barely worked. Thermostat set to 67 and air wasn’t coming on so the room was warm at best. Wi-Fi was a joke. It didn’t work at all. Was away from the room the entire next day to come back to still no towels. In fact we actually went to buy our own. And we were told we didn’t request room service although we definitely asked for towels the night before.
No towels at the pool. (What did we expect…they didn’t have enough in the rooms). The pillows need to be thrown away. We stacked them 3 high and they still went flat. This was not the typical Embassy breakfast. It was subpar at best. And this has to be the most outdated Embassy around. Hilton should be ashamed. The reviews say it best. This was an indoor Motel with the Embassy logo slapped on it.

I stayed at the Marriott but was being valet parked by Embassy Suites employees. Apparently they have an agreement with each other. I called for my car on several different occasions and the first time it took a ridiculously amount of time when they were not busy. Again, when I called they also were taking a long time and not busy. So long in fact, I went inside to the Marriott and mentioned that I've been waiting for my car. They called the Embassy Suites and apologized but said they would send someone right now to get the car saying they didn't get a message of someone calling for their car. I know that they were lying or the person who brought me my car lied because the person that brought me my car said that the rest of the valet staff left and didn't tell him and that's why it took so long.
Anyway, I placed an order for my car (through the app). It was a little past 2am in the morning, and again, they were not busy. My car never came, I again went to the Marriott front desk to complain how this was an ongoing problem with the valet service and how I think this unprofessionalism looks bad on the Marriott. They were able to help me with what I needed and so therefore I didn't end up having to leave to go to the store.
The last time was when I checked out the next morning. I requested my car, thought the app (the only way to get my car). Waited again. I also watched the valet from across the street just standing around talking to people. I watched this for so long that I finally walked over there to the hotel and requested to talk with the manager. I was told the manager was not in. When I told front desk of the service I received through my stay they just apologized. Which to me was unacceptable at this point. I was given the manager's card and I left my personal information. I was told she would call me when she got to work. I never received a call.
I called Embassy Suites customer service to make a formal complain and request my $45 dollars back. This included the fee for Valet Parking and tip money. (The app made it so that you tip upfront unless you had cash). So when you call for your car through the app, you also put the amount of tip you pay. I, each time, thought it wouldn't be that way AGAIN. Obviously wrong. I did receive an email from the Embassy Suites Manager after my formal complaint and this is all she said, to include no refund.
"We have received some recent feedback from Hilton Guest Assistance regarding the utilization of our Valet Services while staying at our sister property, the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort. We sincerely apologize for the unprofessionalism and lack of service from our valet staff. Unfortunately, since you were billed by the Marriott, we are unable to process a refund. However, if you are a Hilton Honors member, please send me your Hilton Honors number and I will be happy to credit back the valet charge through points. We will make sure to share this feedback with our staff as we continue to improve our level of service."
For me, this is absolutely unacceptable. How dare you steal my money because that is exactly how I feel at this point. You, knowingly and acceptingly acknowledged the horrible experience I endured. But still refused to give me my money back. Yes, refused. I know there is a way to refund me. Petty cash, or whatever. There is a way, even if it is through corporate. What a horrible impression you are making on the Marriott with your bad valet service and customer service. But I am sure you don't care considering y'all are competitors, which is why its weird y'all are even trying to partner anyway. And yes, I still want my money back! I am not in the business to give a way money to large companies for the sake of doing it. Not at all happy with this customer service.

I am commercial ac HVAC/R technician for over 35 years. 2 years ago we visited the embassy suites in Ft Lauderdale entered into the Embassy suites on 17th st causeway. The carpet was wet and it smelled off (mildew). 20 minutes later my wife eyes started to swell, her lips and she became very I’ll (no air circulation). On March 31, 2023 (my wife’s birthday) we went back to Fort Lauderdale to celebrate her special day and decided to give the embassy suites on 17th street causeway because the manager was very nice the last time and refunded me the entire 339.00 that we paid. When I tell you it was a double disaster. We got to our room same thing. Carpet was stink and wet, no air circulation. They put us in another. Around 1:30am my wife woke up saying she was warm (this is South Florida). Well the AC was not working nor was the fan running.
We went downstairs around 1:45am. Explained the problem. They put us in a handicap room with a queen bed (We paid for a king. I’m 6”6.) Figure this one out! Around 6:30-7:00 guess what? The AC kicks on. Just as I thought Embassy Suites run their AC through their corporate office, the fail to run the AC to accommodate the the customer to save energy (money) so on April 29, 2023 I did a little get away with my wife to the Panhandle (Panama City). We checked to a brand new embassy suite. It was very very beautiful. They had only been open for 5 days. Newly built building, well guess what? You guessed correct NO AC!!!! The room was very stuffy! Maintenance was sent up and before I told him I was a license commercial AC tech for over 35 years he attempted to check the breaker which had nothing to do with anything.
I shared with the non knowledgeable concerning AC maintenance gentleman exactly what the problem was. I began to question why was this happening? So she get online and google AC problems at the Embassy Suites and there you have it, several, several, several complaints concerning this exact problem. These rooms cost on average of 340-350 per night. This should not be happening. As we exit our room there you have it. Cool air and very recognized air circulation!!!! This is sad and this matter will be reported to the proper authorities.

Embassy Suites - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly
- Made-to-Order Breakfast was a delight. HIGHLIGHT OF THE STAY.
- The pool and workout rooms were SMALL but NICE.
-- If it wasn't for the BREAKFAST (being big on breakfast), we would have left.
The BAD- Room was TOO COLD (they had a Service Tech come and explain it all to us-because we had a CORNER SUITE).
- The Grille/Restaurant closed about 8pm. The sign said OPEN UNTIL 10pm.
-- Do NOT get a CORNER SUITE in COLD WEATHER and EAT/GET YOUR MEAL BEFORE 8pm.
- HOTEL WATER, hot and cold, went out one morning (came back on early afternoon).
Laundry
- Prices (for the washer and dryer) were NOT POSTED in the laundry room.
The UGLYLaundry
- A sign stating that "DOLLARS and CARDS" was posted but NO CARD MACHINE could be located in the room.
- Dollar Bills didn't go through change machine.
- The machines ONLY TOOK QUARTERS.
-- Don't RELY on doing your LAUNDRY until they FIX THE ISSUES. The FRONT DESK will be no help.
---- The hotel was full of visual highlights and it had some good qualities. Though it had its share of issues, they were things that we could live with. I'm not sure how the hotel received 4.5 Stars out of 5 Stars though. It was a near 3 Star Hotel in my opinion.

The worst stay ever when you think you are getting a 5 star stay. The refrigerator was nasty couldn’t use it. The couch was tore dirty and stained. The room has been ozone’ from weed smoke which kept me with a headache my whole stay. Couldn’t sleep. Very noisy. A lot of teenagers present. The whole 3rd floor smelled like weed. It was horrible for a nonsmoker. The walls was dirty. Had to ask for clean sheets. The bed sheets was not changed. This hotel has definitely went downhill. It’s more like a motel.
Valet parking was very expensive and parking your car in garage was also expensive. So you get a nasty room with no parking unless you pay extra. The only good thing about this stay was breakfast and the employees was very professional and nice. But it definitely needs a deep cleaning and furniture replace. My night stand in my room was being held up because it was against the wall. Couldn’t wait to check out. It’s definitely not worth the money. It gives me Motel 8 vibes.

This is my first time ever writing a review but I felt I had to. I stayed in this hotel from March 16th till the 20th of March - On the 20th of March the hotel arranged for a driver to drop us to the airport. We had a bag of shopping with us worth approximately $600 - we got out of the vehicle and forgot the bag, my partner ran after the driver however he kept driving and did not stop. We then contacted the hotel and explained the situation to a number of different people. I explained the urgency and that the driver had left in the last 2 minutes. I was transferred from staff member to staff member and finally a man called Kenneth understood what was going on. He said he would make contact with the driver to return to us with the bag.
We stood outside the airport for over a hour waiting on the driver. He did not return we called the hotel and they said they were having trouble contacting him. I have contacted the hotel over the past week on numerous occasions and they have told me they can’t contact the driver. Today they have responded saying the driver never seen the bag. So therefore I now assume it has been stolen by him. This was my 3rd time staying in this hotel and I will never return due to the dishonesty of there staff. How could they possibly not be able to contact a driver who drives for them on a daily basis for over a week and surely they shouldn’t be giving him business if this is what he does! I am aware he is possibly employed by another company who the hotel use for cars to drive persons staying at the hotel however I still would not recommend anyone to stay there - avoid it at all costs if you don’t want your property stolen!

My husband and I recently stayed at Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach and were very disappointed. We had never paid so much for a hotel room in our lives ( 400 for one night; a bit less for the remaining nights)... Our hotel room was very dated... I've stayed at 3 star hotels that were nicer. The sofa was old and uncomfortable though the mattress and the linens were very nice. The biggest concern was the loud noise we heard every evening and every morning from the elevator.
We were surprised by the extra charges such as an extra .50 for containers when ordering from the restaurant at the hotel. The hotel pool and hot tub were way too small for the size of the hotel. Our first 2 days (weekend), it was so crowded that you couldn't find a lounge chair that was available. We didn't dare go into the pool as the group was playing football. The hot tub was large enough for 3 people comfortably. Most of the staff, with one exception, was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Overall, we would never return to this hotel and disappointed that we spent so much money for such poor quality.

I booked a suite at the Embassy Suite New Orleans in May 2021. When I arrived I was informed that the hotel was not providing housekeeping services. I would have to come to the front desk to get wash clothes, towels, trash bags and a box breakfast daily. My room would not be cleaned not even upon request. This is not what I expected so I was truly upset especially since the rate I paid was not inexpensive. On my 2nd day I saw a house keeper working next door and I asked her for a trash bag and she told me to go to the front desk. I gave her a look and she gave me a bag. While at this hotel, I noticed several bags of trash sitting outside of the doors of guests rooms for days.
On my last day I had a check out time of noon. I was in the living room packing and had little clothing on when I heard my door open. it was the housekeeper who did not knock. I screamed, she said "Sorry" and closed the door. I showered, got dressed, but I was humiliated. Within less than an hour and before noon another gentleman knocked on the door to see if I had checked out. I felt like I was being harassed at this point.
When I checked out I pointed all of this out at the front desk. I followed up with an email survey and phone call. It took days for Hilton to respond. Then I called the hotel personally and Management has refused to return my call. They issued an $80 credit and some points to my Hilton account. I spent almost $600 and this is how they treat their loyal customers. I will not be staying at Hilton Hotels anymore because I should have received a full reimbursement for the humiliation and invasion of privacy their staff members imposed on me while I was at their facility.

The spaciousness of the rooms (living room, separate bedroom) are what enable Embassy Suites to stand head-and-shoulders above all of the other major hotel/motel chains. I am 6'4" tall and the spaciousness of each Embassy Suites room is greatly appreciated. The rooms are always immaculately clean; the beds are among the most comfortable of any lodging chain and the service provided by staff set the model by which others must be judged.

Would give a 0 if an option. I booked a last minute reservation over the phone and was told I’d be booking a 2 bed with a sleeper ocean view/front with a balcony. Fast forward a few hours later and I am looking out my hotel window at the parking lot. I call downstairs at the front desk and they say, "This is what you booked." Nothing they can do. I call the call center, they say sorry nothing they can do. I ask them to pull the recorded line and they say they can’t. I feel lied to and stolen from. All they say is sorry. I tried calling down and asked to speak to the manager and the lady says, "You can talk to me. I’m the Director of Reservations." Basically refusing to let me speak to the manager.
All they say is sorry. I said, "Fine, if I can’t get what I was told I booked then I’d like a refund". She says, "Sorry, it is past the time frame you can cancel." I booked this morning at 10:30, it’s 4:30 now. So I was told I’d be purchasing something and was lied to. Then when I say I don’t want this, it’s past the timeframe to get a refund. This company has horrible customer service. They treat their customers horribly. Their business model is screw the customer as long as they get paid, they don’t care. I spent Honors points and paid the difference ($300). This has been a huge disappoint. I will never spend my money here again. I have never been treated so poorly.

At the end of stay, the receipt showed the incidental card was charged for the stay. I worked with Embassy Suites more than once. I worked with Reservation Center. They blamed each other. Embassy Suites maintained it was "impossible" to be charged twice. Embassy Suites claimed there was no one else to speak with about the charges and they could not help. Front desk did nothing but talk about how much I complained about the room and did not help out. They had nothing at all for the New Year celebration and this location was filled with hoodlums and police to break up fights and the threat of a shooting. I am disgusted with the Embassy Suites. Always love going to the Embassy Suites, my grandmother use take us here as a "girl's camping trip" when I was a little girl. I recently stayed here earlier this month for my birthday...eh it was ok. As well as earlier this year, nothing special, the breakfast isn't any better...and the upgrades need to continue throughout the rest of the place.
But the reason why I am sharing my review today is simply because just 2 days ago I had contacted this location to make a reservation in hopes of checking in within the next 15 minutes (I was down the street and needed a room immediately). The representative who I spoke to was very quick to take my payment and ensured me that I would be able to check in right away (early check in). I was then transferred to the front desk to request my early check in because I was arriving to the hotel within seconds. I quickly found out there was no availability after just speaking with a different representative (who also failed to tell me any penalty for canceling my reservation). The front desk rep. was unable to locate my reservation (since I just made it), very frustrated by then...long story short. I waited an hour to contact the hotel front desk again to request for a refund and cancel my reservation.
The 3rd lady I spoke to that my card would not be charged until I checked in. I let her know that I wanted to cancel my reservation and I will no longer be needing it. She confirmed again no charges would be made to be card. Well, I was looking over my bank statements - and I was charged $210 and some change. I quickly contacted customer service through the Hilton site after 30 minutes and 2 agents later they are now investigating this issue and will let me know within 72 hours if I am going to be refunded or not.
The customer experience that I have had has been horrible and I never expected to have to deal with this kind of service from the Embassy Suites, as I use to love this place when I was little, and even earlier this month the experience was still better than this any day. Very disappointed, with the Milpitas location so run down and no upgrades to the rooms - I most definitely do not recommend the Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley to anyone.
I should have never been charged or been made aware of the penalties for cancelling my reservation. I mean the room was $255 and they charged my card $210? Rather than the representative who took my payment over the phone and I requesting specific accommodations, I would have appreciated it if she told me there was not going to be any rooms available. On top of everything - I never received an e-mail confirmation and or a cancellation e-mail.

I stayed at this hotel from 07/17/2019-07/21/2019. My room was not serviced one single day while we stayed at this hotel for a large family reunion (room under name Maurice ** my son in law). I called and complained every single day about no housekeeping in the room, no clean sheets and water leaking in the room. They would send someone up to provide the items but still, never service the room not one single day.
Upon checking out I was advised I was being charged a 250$ smoking fee for smoking ** in the room. I AM IN MY 50S AND HAVE NEVER SMOKED a day in my life. I told them they must be crazy or smelt it from another room. My grandkids were staying with me during the family reunion. My daughter came to my room one day with legal ** in her pockets. (Again it's legal and she is a medical card carrier). No one ever smoked in the room. Not once and she told the staff about it being in her bag out of common courtesy because that's how she was raised. They had this information on Wednesday and still chose never to tell us their assumption and reason for not servicing our room even though I asked daily.
We were treated horribly and I told them to come to the room with me because there was no way there was a smoke smell because I don't/can't/won't and would smoke nor let anyone else smoke in my room. I am completely handicap and on social security because I can barely walk due to a back injury. I was told by staff that if the housekeeping said you were smoking they wouldn't have to service your room and that is exactly what they did. I repeatedly have tried to contact corporate and the hotel to get this straightened out to no avail.. We were treated horrible and we were charged a crazy fee for no reason whatsoever.

I inadvertently made a mistake while making reservation for my wife and I to stay at the Embassy Suites by the Minneapolis Airport, instead of the Embassy Suites Bloomington. They both are in Bloomington, so that's why the mistake was made. Once I realized it, I called the number to see if the reservation could just be transferred from the first hotel to the second. "No", was the answer to that question. How about a refund, since I just made the reservation 15 minutes ago? Another "No." I asked the guy if there is any way around this. He said for me to call the hotel that the reservation was made at and get the name, and position of the person I called, and they would process the claim. That was a month ago. No refund. I tried disputing it with my credit card, and that also got me nowhere.
$148.84 of my money down the drain. That's the very last dollar that Embassy Suites, or any Hilton will ever see from me. I will let plenty of others know that the "No-Refund" policy means from the second you hit the button. If something is wrong and you make that click, they will have your money and will get nothing at all in return. The credit card won't even stick up for you. You lose.

I'd already had an issue with being hung up on by someone I was connected with to ask a few questions, before my stay. After deciding it was more important to be in the same hotel as my friend/bride to be, my friend and I paid the $280 [total cost rate, fees, taxes, parking] a night. Stayed 2 nights. The bathroom was disgusting and common areas consistently had trash and food scattered about. There was black mold and water staining in the shower, residual hair in the corners of the floor/shower and on the lavatory. Candy wrappers and empty drink bottles on furniture surfaces and pizza crust on the floor in the middle of the hallway.
We also couldn't get the room to cool to our liking. An after hours security guard was sent to reset thermostat, but couldn't help with the situation. I'm not one to be a complainer, but when spending this kind of money it should be a better experience and less of a health risk. I've never stayed in a hotel that had a bathroom this disgusting and an overall building this unkempt. It's unfortunate that this building is this well-designed, has great views, and overall has a lot going for it, but cleanliness is an opportunity. I spent money at the rooftop bar, so even if they issue a refund, they still made money off me.
I’ve had correspondence from Hilton corporate that want to give me a nights stay at a property. I’m not interested. All the emails are generic templates, not personal. One email from corporate says DEFAULT in the subject line. I am asking for a full refund... The saga continues days later. Ultimately, I’ll dispute this with the bank. Typically, I stay at Marriotts and will continue to do so... This was a one off due to supporting a best friend. Originally, I was dissatisfied and am becoming more and more dissatisfied with how this is being handled.

He assured us that it was cooling down and we would be fine in about 30 minutes. It never cooled down and it made for a MISERABLE stay on a weekend of 90 degree weather in Nashville. We did inform the front desk again and said we expect to hear from the GM. We stayed there 6/2 and haven’t heard from anyone within the organization. We stay in Franklin/Nashville every weekend until we transition our family to the are from East Tennessee, and this weekend we had to choose Homewood Suites since we haven’t heard from Embassy Suites.
