    I installed my panels with Momentum Solar since March 2020, the seller was not totally honest with me, his name is Reneyro **, and the supervisor Erick. The first question I asked him was about the time to renovate the roof how it worked, and he told me, THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE TO REMOVE THE PANELS AND REINSTALL THEM IS FREE, and a second time the cost is assumed by you, as the renovation of the roofs is not done regularly, I agreed. Nowadays I am in a great dilemma because I have to make the roof since it was damaged by a small storm and they are charging me $5000, which I do not have. What should I do, to whom do I turn? If the roof department tells me that they can't do anything.

    I've had Momentum for 6+ years. It worked well the entire time. I saved money from producing so much solar energy. Recently I noticed my electric meter was NOT running normal or as usual. It showed I wasn't producing even though it was a clear sunny day. In early June, I called Momentum / IGS Solar to notify them that I had an issue. When I finally got to an individual after a couple of days of calling, they said they will not be able to respond to problem with a technician until September 19th. THAT'S THREE (3) MONTHS LATER!!!! How is that considered acceptable customer "service"?? How is that being professional??

    This is COMPLETELY unacceptable "service"!!! Meanwhile my electric bill was 42% HIGHER than last year, same month. I'm literally throwing my hard earned money out the window no thanks to Momentum/IGS poor customer service. PLEASE address this issue, Momentum/IGS, ASAP!! I will update this post if and only if Momentum/IGS addresses this problem ASAP.

    Bad Service. Found out 19 out of 21 panels stopped producing in June of 2024. Called Momentum. Was told they would be out to service it on September 20th. 3 months of no solar producing yet they still want paid for the great benefits of solar. Mind you these panels are less than two years old. Must be bad products if they all break that easily.

    To Whom it may concern, DO NOT BUY SOLAR. THIS IS WHY. I'm selling my home and was in contract twice but lost both deals. I have a 56 panel system done by Momentum and it has caused people to back out. The Insurance companies are telling them that a re-roof will be needed in under 3 years. The cost to remove and replace will cost $16-$18.000 plus the cost of the roof. The kicker is that ONLY YOU can do it or it will void the warranty.

    The one time R&R warranty is not worth the paper it's written on if I can't Transfer it!! So every time the Insurance company dictates you need a new roof it's going to cost approximately $32,500.00. That's Insane!!!! Based upon my math, solar, actually over a period of time, costs way more than having just a regular power bill.

    Average bill is about $300 a month. That makes 10 years $36,000. So why bother with solar? Hopefully I will be able to sell my home. 65K right out the window. I'll never do this again! With owning the entire system out right, I should be able to do what I want, when I want. I should not be held captive by Momentum. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the population figures this out. Nobody has reached out at all from this company.

    Yesterday, 6/27/2024, a young man by the name of Isaiah (He pronounced it I-Zay-Yuh) showed up at my door. He claims to live in Orlando, Fl. This man knocked on my door at 7:30 PM when there is a BIG sign that reads, "No Soliciting". Immediately breaks the law there. He then proceeds to acknowledge the sign but tell me that he's not soliciting since what he is offering is free. Now there's mosquitos flooding into my house, and I can see them clear as day. I'm sitting in my chair in my underwear, and I tell him I am sorry that I am not getting up because I am in my underwear (My kids answered the door) and notify him that he is letting mosquitos pour into my home. This man proceeds to step into my house and close my screen door behind him, inviting himself in and starts giving me his sales pitch.

    I have my 3 kids, a 1-year-old in my lap, and both my 6- and 9-year-old in the house with me that I am caring for, and a stranger just invited himself into my home when he knows I'm not even dressed. I was nice enough to let him finish his pitch, and then I said I am not interested. He proceeds to attempt to convince me that he is with Momentum and that I have nothing to worry about. I eventually tell him, "I am kindly asking you to leave my house". He refuses because he was not done telling me about what he is selling.... For a third time I tell him that he needs to LEAVE my house now. It was not until I started calling 911 that he took a step back out my front door. Then what did he do? In front of my kids and neighborhood? He stuck his middle finger up at us and flicked us off. I guess that's what I get for being nice. I cannot believe this man has a job.

    Now you have to ask yourself, why would I trust a company that hires degenerates like this who makes me feel threatened because they're home intruders! By definition this man was a home intruder and I had to call the police to get him out. Never have I ever had a door salesman act this way. I am scared and I assure you, the next door sales man will not be getting such a nice hello at my front door again. This company needs to be looked into immediately. Apparently they pair with the government for these solar deals, so I will be looking into reporting this to the federal government next. I called Momentum twice today. The first time with a man who I can't recall the name of, but he said they have no department that can help with that and hung up on me while I was mid-sentence. I tried calling back 5 times, but they seemed to have block my number. So, I called from my office desk phone, got through first time.

    Now I spoke with some by the name of Chris, he stated he was some kind of team lead there. He was much more helpful and took down my whole story and said he will speak to management and handle it. After the first phone call, I am not sure if Chris will take it serious or not, but this "Isaiah" needs to be fired immediately. He should also be arrested. He is lucky he disappeared from my neighborhood before the police arrived. Very Sketchy Business to say the least.

    Momentum Solar is using predatory sales tactics with my 79 year old mom who is having memory issues. I have stopped multiple sales personnel from entering her home, interrupted multiple transactions and have told the sales reps that my mom cannot sign any contracts for solar panels. They refuse to take her off their list. This is harassing her and she doesn't know how to make them stop calling.

    Looked into solar but my monthly bill is usually around $125 and it's just not a good investment for me which isn't the issue. The issue is that I've requested that Momentum STOP hounding me when I've already told them it's not worth it for me, I'm no longer interested, and requested that they place me on their DNC. At this point there contact is UNWANTED and ILLEGAL. Documenting my requests in order to file a formal FCC and FTC complaint should they call again. It's absolutely ridiculous that a company acts so desperate or employs salespeople that knowingly violate the law because they're so awful and desperate to make a sale. MOMENTUM SOLAR...LEAVE ME ALONE! If your product were 100% FREE I wouldn't accept it due to your company's constant harassment.

    My experience with Momentum Solar has been anything but satisfying. The Salesperson who represented Momentum named Travis ** totally misled my wife and I on the whole solar experience. I own a small 1200 square Ft. ranch that has nearly 100% sun exposure. I was quoted by the sales person that my average monthly bill would average around $220 a month on average. Well into my first year the average monthly bill is over 300 and when I inquired as to why there was this discrepancy I was given the run around.

    Momentum has done nothing to address my concerns and to make matter worse they actually told me that the more energy that I produce the higher my bill would be. Even more than Eversource my original energy provider. So I asked them why would anyone get solar if they knew it was going to be at a high cost. Crickets from Momentum. My stress level with this whole solar experience because of Momentum has been the worst I could have ever imagined. My advice is to never and I mean never let any salesperson from Momentum into your home.

    If you’re looking for a reliable solar company, do not choose Momentum. Two times they have scheduled consultations with me and I have not shown up or called. Third time they contacted me, scheduled an appointment, was another no-show. Then they tell me on the phone that due to trees in my yard I am not eligible for solar which we had 25 trees removed around the yard and three other solar companies have come and give us quotes, much better pricing, beware of the solar company if you want to get screwed around.

    Linda ** Florence Texas. I regret to share that my experience with Momentum Solar Panels Company has been deeply disappointing. After investing $60,000 in a 64-panel system for my 1,500 sq ft home, the performance has been dismal. Despite assurances of efficiency and cost savings, my electric bills hovered around $500, which is unacceptable. Over the past five years, I have repeatedly sought assistance from their customer service to rectify the issues, only to be told that I would need to pay additional fees for repairs. It's frustrating and disheartening. I strongly advise against using this company. Their lack of support and accountability is astonishing.

    Buyer beware – your investment may not yield the promised results, and the aftercare is practically non-existent. It sounds incredibly frustrating to deal with ongoing issues and not even be able to find legal assistance due to others facing similar problems. It seems Momentum Solar Panels Company rushed their product to market without thoroughly addressing potential defects or ensuring reliable customer service. This lack of preparation has left you and likely many others in a difficult position. It's important for potential customers to be aware of these significant shortcomings. Companies should prioritize customer satisfaction and product reliability from the outset, not leave customers dealing with unresolved issues.

    I was promised 8k rebate in my contract and never received it fully. When I contacted them they did nothing to help me. This company is a scam. I am looking into switching companies with my solar. Do not go with Momentum Solar.

    THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!! We got scammed by this company. The offer that the seller presented to us after reviewing the account statements of the electricity company that we have (SECO), let us know that our consumption was an estimated 10,253 kWh and he was going to install panels that would cover 10,590 kWh. Giving us something extra to cover any changes we had, so we accepted the offer he offered us.

    After the installation, we noticed that the panels were not covering anything or almost nothing of our consumption. We made several calls to address this situation The last conversation we had was that we had to wait about a year to see the benefits, which we did, we have waited a long time enough and the situation has remained the same or worse since we are paying the bill for electricity which is equal to what we consumed before the panels plus the cost of the panels causing a deficit in our budget, we contacted SECO, our electricity company, and they told us that the consumption we had before installing the panels was around 15,886 kWh, which was never 10,253 what the seller sold us. We have been trying to correct the issue with Momentum Solar and they only said that we have to pay for more panels, even that they made the error. Be very careful. Once you sign with them you are screwed!!!!

    I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the lack of communication and the prolonged duration it has taken for the installation process of and continuous failure on inspection. I have been eagerly anticipating the completion of the installation, and unfortunately, it has now been seven months since the process began. Throughout this period, I have experienced a notable lack of communication from your company regarding the status and progress of the installation.

    Regular updates and transparency are crucial in maintaining a positive customer experience, and the absence of such communication has left me feeling uninformed and frustrated. A lack of communication leaves customers in the dark and fosters a sense of uncertainty and dissatisfaction. Effective communication is fundamental in maintaining a positive and trusting relationship between a company and its customers. But you have FAILED! I would not Recommend MOMENTUM SOLAR this company to anyone!! RUN RUN.

    It took six months to get our solar up & running. The wiring had to be redone. It first failed inspection. Over one year and they still didn’t send a roof service to check on a leak. Painting by electric box still hasn’t been done. I don’t recommend them! Customer service is the worst by far!

    DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! NOT TRUSTWORTHY!! I had a salesperson, Raleigh, come to my home for a quote. I signed the paperwork and was told I had 7 days to change my mind. As the financing I got was a least I decided to cancel. I called Raleigh and told him I wanted to cancel. A few weeks later I received notice from the city. They proceeded & pulled a permit.

    When I called Raleigh he informed me he was no longer with the company. Now the company is trying to force me to get the work done. I spoke with the manager Anthony who is a condescending person who talks to people as if they are imbeciles. I have contacted BJs Wholesale club in regard to how they choose vendors as this company is very unethical. Not to mention they didn’t voluntarily explain the battery backup is not quoted in the price. They try to price gouge the battery so you have power if the grid goes out. They focus on the “saving money”. You still need to have a generator. I mean what’s the sense of solar if you can still go without power during an outage! ** that’s all I have to say!

    If there were a way to give negative stars, I would absolutely do so. At time of signing, we were enticed by the salesperson's seemingly genuine statement that we would receive a tax credit in the form of a rebate check for $10k after our solar was installed. They also pointed out the shortcomings of other solar companies (an understandable sales tactic) and insisted we would receive money back if we signed with them. After contract signing in February, we had an individual come out to take photos of our electrical panel. Apparently, his information was entered incorrectly and another third party was sent out to perform the work. After his departure, there was no follow up from our project manager, sales rep or anyone from Momentum for six months.

    After waiting seven months from date of contract signing, my husband and I decided to cancel our contract. When I called to cancel, we were threatened with the responsibility to pay invoices for all labor performed on site. The only thing that's been performed to-date have been site assessments - nothing else. Their predatory behavior continued when the rep in the cancellation department contacted me via text and threatened to send invoices once again. He then continued on to contact my husband also using the same scare tactic. To those of you interested in solar: do your homework. While there may be some solid solar companies out there, this isn't one of them.

    The five star reviews are obviously employees of Momentum. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life, I am sorry I let my husband convince me to move forward. I have these pretty shiny panels on my roof that are of no use to me because they are not connected. The finance company has begun demanding their payments which means we have to pay them and the electrical company full price. Don't bother calling the reps, they will hang up if they cannot answer your question or if you ask for a sup/manager. Also, the project manager ditched us months ago. No phone call, text, or email. I've contacted corporate no response. I have no ET on the job being completed, it's been 9 months. If and when a class suit is brought upon them I will definitely be a part of it.

    This company is very very lie with their commitment. They told when installing process if anything damage then Momentum Solar is responsible for everything. When they set up they messed up my leaving room electric power and now they say I have to bring my own electric company and fix it. They are not responsible for it. They are lie. So my sussed if anyone go with Momentum Solar be careful.

    I worked for Momentum Solar as a residential solar telemarketer (Appointment Setter), my job was to call leads, explain the value of solar, overcome objections, and set a time and date for an estimate. While working there I was asked to lie to homeowners about having consultants nearby to set same day estimates. We were to use Google and pick a random "cross street" and tell the homeowner we had a consultant there to encourage them to set an appointment for that day. Same days sold better because there was more excitement but I believe homeowners should take their time finding the option best for them and reviewing the contract.

    I lost my opportunity to work because I complained about new hires getting a hire starting wage than existing employees. Momentum was struggling to find applicants so they increased the starting wage but did not give raises to existing employees to match the new starting wage. This shows they don't value their telemarketers and expect a high turnover rate which is partly related to the culture and conditions of the work environment. They don't care about doing the right thing and when making a big investment like residential solar you probably want people who value doing things the right way.

    This company installed my panels just over 5 years ago. I recently saw water coming through ceiling. Upon going up in attic almost every bracket they put in cause a small leak. They will not honor warranty even though it’s proven leaks are at least a few years old. I am 100% disabled veteran and they have destroyed my home.

    I can't thank the sales team at Momentum Solar enough for introducing me to solar-powered energy! At first, I was nervous about the large investment in my home but the sales representatives answered my questions and made me feel comfortable with the purchase of a solar panel system.     These thieves will bully you and refuse to process any requests that ends with them getting less money. Don't go with Momentum, instead go with Green Mountain or any other utility backed solar programs.

    Momentum came knocking at my door and gave me the Worst experience in my life. Paying 30k loan for 27 panels for no reason, they can't even pass Final inspection, it has been 10 months into this project. They seems to give up, no one to reach out to, no one cares. Slow and poor executions, very bad Company, stay away.

    Was looking forward to meeting Momentum as I have met with Posigen, Sunpower, Sunrun, Power home remodeling regarding solar installation. Google reviews showed fairly good reviews with occasional technical issues and some pushy sales tactics but due to the relatively good reputation, I decided to give them a try. Invited Momentum Solar to give quote to my home on 11/21/22. Asked for them to email me the specifications of my solar plan so I can compare to other vendors. Hugo (senior or manager) that the solar salesman referred me to prior to ending to engagement proceeded to engage in high pressure sales tactics. When I told him that I wanted time to compare specifications on my own he said “look it up on Google” and to “get the ** out” after spending 1hr with their salesperson. Will not be purchasing from them nor will I be referring them to friends/ colleagues/neighbors. This one star review will stand until written apology provided by Hugo or management.

    I moved to Austin from California like so many people did to enjoy the sun and lower cost of living, and with Momentum Solar I can profit from the sun too unlike cloudy San Franciso. My household produces excess power and Momentum showed me how to sell the extra while living free of energy bills and I can monitor it with this app.

    Momentum Solar cold called me once and I was so confused on they got my number. I asked to be on the do not call list and they listened. But then a few months later I moved to a house with lots of sun and I remembered their sales pitch so I gave them a call. Very informative and I learned a lot. I ultimately made the decision to have them install it and they did a great job. A+++.

    After posting the original review, and after several escalations to a customer experience manager, Momentum was able to rearrange their schedule and has now completed the re-attach. (After a 7 week wait) Their installation crew showed up as promised (and on time this time) and were very professional and courteous.

    While the purchase and installation experience in March 2020 was great, I needed to have my roof replaced a year later due to a storm. It took them 6 weeks to come remove the panels and they showed up 10 hours late on the appointment day with one excuse after another. Despite being required to pay the full detach/re-attach fee up front, and my roof being completed June 3, they are now telling me July 21st that I have to wait until October to re-attach them because their schedule is backed up because they don't have enough installers, and they are still holding thousands of dollars I paid them for the job back in May.

    Additionally, I am having to pay hundreds of extra dollars for all of my electricity usage during the summer months and have lost the use of my garage to store my vehicle while my panels sit in my garage, putting my car at risk for weather damage. Their service center is useless at providing any updates and I get a new hoop to jump through every time I call. Be warned if you ever have a problem with your system after you purchase it because it might take you 6 months to get it fixed. I would never recommend this company to anyone strictly based on their post-sales service.
