Early this year, I purchased a suit from Men's Wearhouse (Rainbow and 215 Las Vegas NV). I was fitted for the suit. A couple of weeks later, I picked up my suit and never thought anymore about it until 2 weeks ago 7/18/14 when I was invited to a party in Long Beach CA. So I packed my new suit and caught my flight to Long Beach, only to find out that the waist was all wrong. It was as if it was never altered. Now I'm on my way to a party and I'm praying that I don't have to take my jacket off because I have a material gathered in the back of my pants to make another suit.

On returning to Las Vegas, I took the suit back to the store from where I purchased it and asked to have the pants could be fitted properly. The saleslady greeted me and pointed out the fitting room. I was measured and given a pickup date and at this point there was no problem. Until two days later when Jeff calls me and tells me that they will not alter my pants because they are "Soiled." At that point, I come unglued. I tell him that "I did not soil my suit, I wear powder." Jeff then tells me of a store policy that prohibits them to work on any garment that is "Soiled." Again I repeat I wear powder and they are not soiled. Jeff then tells me to pickup the pants, have them dry cleaned and bring them back.

I went to the store to pick up my "powdered" pants but no one can find them. Jeff is gone for the day and the two sales people that are there look everywhere for my pants. Finally, one of the sales reps calls Jeff at home and he tells her where she can find my pants. A few minutes later she comes out with my pants, they had been balled up and stuffed into a bag. Now maybe Jeff just does not know what the definition of the word "Soiled." Maybe if the seamstress had gotten it right the first time, this review would have a positive twist. The one thing that I do know is I will never return to MW again for any reason.

Bought a tux from Men's Wearhouse and when it came it had a stripe on leg, different from one on display. They said it would cost $80 dollars to remove stripe. Also it had 4 buttons on sleeve and when I asked them about it they said if you don't like the buttons just cut them off. And they never tried to offer any apologies for this mix up. It was like oh well...

Planning a wedding can be challenging. My daughter and her fiance went into the Northridge, CA Men's Wearhouse store last week. The store was practically empty. The woman that waited on them and someone at a back table working with a customer. My daughter had a few questions. Her first question was about renting a suit. The woman said, "We don't rent suits." My daughter said she had more questions and the woman said she had to help someone else and walked away! It was suggested by David's Bridal to rent from Men's Wearhouse. The groomsmen were coming from three different states.

I bought a suit for my prom years back and was satisfied with the attention to detail and they were more than happy to ring up my suit. I went in again later on to get a suit for my work and decided to splurge and get another suit that was ideally priced on clearance. Found out later that day I couldn't afford the suit because of my tight budget and returned the suit. They claimed they understood and refunded the suit and the alterations but tacked on an additional $48 claiming that they had to clear all of the alterations when the ticket said they refunded only 1 of each alteration instead of the appropriate alterations.

I noted this and called trying to explain on the phone about this and how I believed it was off and that I am actually spending more and this ended with me going down to the store. Both of the associates were rude and pissy with me because I wanted to be humored and shown the amount of the receipt with the alterations and was chided for trying to remain in my budget because I was on THEIR time and apparently customer satisfaction is not key if you go in the third time that day to get this all sorted out.

Do not buy from this company. You will receive no sympathy if you are poor or on a budget and they will make you miserable and make it known how pissed they are that you wanted to be charged the correct amount or at least politely be walked through the refund process.

Bought four suits over $2500. After being fitted and wearing one of suits, I notice the suit didn't match. Tommy Hill pants with Kenneth Cole jacket. Taking it back to the store because the suit is worthless. The store manager agreed to give me a Tommy Hill jacket and a pair of Kenneth Cole paints meaning I would get a free suit. This was great. They order the items for me. When I went in to fit, they refused to honor their offer and said, "That's just too bad."

Over the years, I have spent a ton of money in their stores like $15,000. Now, I am stuck with a worthless suit and no one from their corporate office returns my phone calls. Stay away from Men's Wearhouse. Customer service SUCKS and they don't care about the consumer. They only care about what they can ring up at the register. Deptford Men's Wearhouse store manager has to be the worst. I have contacted the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs.

My husband rented a Tuxedo for our daughter's wedding from the Men's Wearhouse. Picked it up 5 days before the wedding and the sales girl went over everything with my husband assuring him everything was in the bag. The wedding was in South Jersey and the tuxedo was rented in North Jersey near our home. Well, the day of the wedding, we realized they never put the shoes in the bag! The nearest Men's Wearhouse was in Eatontown far away from where we were. Someone had to go to Joseph A Bank's and buy him a pair of shoes. When we took the tux back the day after the wedding, the sales associate was RUDE! To say the least! She couldn't have cared less that we had a problem. Not even an apology! Just reimbursed us for the shoe rental. Now I know why they have such a horrible rating!

I went to get a suit from Men’s Wearhouse. When I get there after about 3-5 mins of looking around someone comes up to me and helps me. He is helping me try on jackets in my size. After about the 3rd jacket I try on I liked 1. I asked how much, and the salesperson looks at the price tag and rips it off the sleeve. I said how much. He starts to walk away and again I asked how much. He said the price is wrong... it says 219.99 but it’s a 700 dollar suit and I can’t sell it for that. So he wrote with a sharpie over the 219.99-249.99, and that’s what I had to pay. I needed a suit and this place is right near my house. I did go to their competitors store and the same suit was 275. I just think that’s wrong for them to do. I told my story to the survey that they send you, and we are calling the main office.

They measured me 2 months in advance, but would not deliver the tux until 2 days before my wedding (corporate policy). When I picked up the tux, the jacket sleeves were several inches too long, the pants were several inches too short and the vest was several sizes too small. They could chop the jacket sleeves and lengthen the pants, but couldn't compensate for the vest. I had to go to my own wedding without the vest while all the other guys were wearing theirs. Their sales guy offered to get me a proper fitting vest a week after the wedding. Useless. They asked if I could come back (during my rehearsal dinner); no can do. They asked if I could come back at the time I'd be at the altar, no! They left themselves no margin to correct errors and then gave me attitude for being annoyed. This is NOT the first time these people have screwed up tailoring for me, but it WILL be the LAST. Never again. You have been warned!

We ordered our tuxedos for our wedding from Men's Wearhouse in Wichita, Kansas - the Town East Mall store. We submitted all the measurements well beyond the required 2 weeks. We were assured that if the tuxes were incorrect, they could be replaced by Saturday morning before the store opened. However, this was not the case. My now husband was late to our own pictures, waiting at Men's Wearhouse for a tuxedo which fit him. We do not recommend this store to anyone and will never return. To fuel the fire, they did not even apologize but said that it was in fact there on time. It was just a miscommunication. Unacceptable service!

I had always heard great things about Men's Wearhouse. My cousin chose them for his tux rentals for his wedding on Oct 13. I flew out from Los Angeles to be in this wedding, having had my measurements done 2 weeks prior in LA. I went in on the 11th to be fitted & pick up the tux at their store in Mayfield, Ohio. Everything fitted, the young lady told me she was going to press the jacket for me & for me to just leave everything hanging on the door, which I did on their respective hangers. When she bagged it all up & brought it to the front, I paid my remaining $120 and went on my way.

On the morning of the wedding (the 13th), I went to get dressed but I couldn't because the pants & shirt were both missing! I met the rest of the groomsmen at the hotel where the reception was to be held, since my cousin (the groom) went & picked up the missing items for me to try & minimize the extra time we'd have to pay for the limo bus. (We ended up paying an additional 30 minutes for the delay, thanks to this fiasco).

When I returned the tux on the 14th, I got no apology of any kind, no asking if I'd like to speak to a manager, nothing, even though I made sure to mention the missing items & additional cost for the limo. The young man who accepted my return (and verified all items were intact) didn't even react when I told him what had happened. He just processed my return to get me out the door. (I didn't bother to ask for a manager at this point because if his/her employees had an attitude this bad when it came to customer service, it's obvious that they are either trained this way, or they are following their manager's pathetic "lead by example" style of customer service). It didn’t end there. Because of their pathetic attitude, I emailed the corporate office of Men's Wearhouse that same night detailing all that had occurred. I included email address and phone number and as of this posting, five days later, I still have heard nothing back from them!

Overall, I paid just over $140 for a tuxedo rental, as well as having to pay the additional time for the limo bus being held up ($75), and they can't even take the time to respond to my concern? That is beyond pathetic! I am now contacting an attorney, and will be letting them handle it from here since Men's Wearhouse doesn't seem to care at all! So much for their "guarantee"!

Last night, I went to the Nanuet store to get suits for my three sons and me. I met one son there and the others were on their way. I made sure to make an appointment since we needed 4 suits and alterations. I planned on spending at least $1000, maybe more with shirts, shoes, etc. We met with John and he measured my son and proceeded to fit him. I told John my budget and he said he was just trying things on for size and fit. He tried a few but they did not fit well and my son noticed John was getting annoyed. John finally found one that was comfortable but needed extensive alterations. I asked the price and was told $639 (plus alterations). I asked John why he would show us a $639 suit when I told him upfront what my budget was. He replied that all the inexpensive suits were on the website and not his store.

Why didn't he tell me that when we first met with him and I told him my budget? We walked out disappointed and went elsewhere. This was the second time I tried to get a suit at this store and the second time I walked out disappointed because of a salesman telling me he could not provide a suit at a reasonable cost. I sent a complaint email the first time and was told to give you a second chance. This was the second chance and you blew it again. "You're going to love the way you look." I seriously doubt that's the case, unless you want to spend over $600 for a suit.

Twice, I bought long-sleeved shirts and had them made short sleeves. Both times, the tailor made the stitching too tight and made ruffles. The second time within the last three weeks, I made sure the salesperson know about the problem I had before; and they said they would take care of it. I went in to pick the four shirts last Friday and had the same problem. The assistant manager said I would have to wait four more days. (The fourth day is today.) I went in today, and the shirts were somewhat better but not good and not ironed. The excuse was that the tailor was too busy. Your tailoring sucks, and the floor help is nice but not concerned about getting the job done right. What are you going to do about this?

I purchased two suits for my son to be worn for job interviews. He recently graduated from Saint Vincent College and wants to make a great first impression! The salesman, Rob, was helpful and personable. The tailor made what we thought were the proper markings for the alterations. When we picked up the suits, the pants looked like they were sewn by a middle school student and, needless to say, didn't fit. When my son and husband returned for the alterations to be corrected, my husband pointed out that the seams didn't line up like they do on his suits. She proceeded to grab his butt and said that it was because he had no butt! Her next move was to grab my son's butt and say he has a bubble butt! Not only is she poor at alterations, she is also inappropriate and unprofessional to say the least! Even after all of this, the suit pants were still not right.

When my son and I returned for another fitting, I pointed out to the store personnel what had happened. They were apologetic. They even remarked that they try to keep that person in the back away from customers. Why?! I'm not using her name because they wouldn't give it to us. She had access to all of our information and we didn't even know her first name! Fortunately, a different tailor (Shirley) was there to make what were finally the proper alterations. I was told that Rob would be giving me a call to follow up. I never heard from him. Clearly, the matter was just swept under the rug! Let's face it, if it was a male grabbing a female, things would have been handled differently. This business is only as good as its weakest link. That makes them a big failure!

I was given a $100 Men's Wearhouse gift card by my wife for Christmas. I don't wear suits often (3 or 4 times a year at most). However, I thought I would use the gift card to get a nice fitting suit for the occasions when I do wear one. I'm a bit introverted, so I like to shop online first so that the process of dealing with the salesman goes as quickly as possible. I found a nice $200 suit that was to my liking, so I headed to the store to make my purchase, with a printout of the page.

When I got there, I noted that I would like a dark grey or black suit. I had no idea of my sizes, so I was measured and then shown a few suits in the $500 range. I said that I saw a suit for $200 on their website that I liked and was told in a very condescending tone that those were "lower class suits and not good quality". I explained that I was fine with that as I rarely wear a suit and am not looking to be a fashion plate, simply have a decent, well-fitting suit. The sales associate immediately handed me off to a younger associate and didn't acknowledge me the rest of my time in the store.

The suit itself was cheaply made and wore/faded fairly quickly. Although I was informed that they would be of a lower quality of the more expensive suits, it was well below what I would expect for $200. My next suit was a Polo suit purchased from Kohl's during their Spring Sale for $120. It fit just as well as the Men's Wearhouse suit, is much more stylish, and is made of a much higher quality material. Needless to say, outside of maybe a tux fitting, I won't be shopping at Men's Wearhouse again.

Working with Men's Wearhouse was a horrible experience. I rented tuxes through them for my wedding. A lot of people have been mentioning buttons falling off. This happened to my father right before the wedding was supposed to start. Our wedding coordinator at the church was running around looking for a needle and thread, and she sewed it on right before the ceremony started. My husband's coat button also fell off right before walking in to the reception. (No refund for either).

The problems don't end there. Aside from the manager, apparently, no one working at Men's Wearhouse knows anything. When my husband and in-laws stopped by with some basic questions about the promotion we were using (which was heavily advertised in the store), they were greeted with blank stares and recommendations to come back later when the manager would be around.

The promotion we were using was the "free suit and companion ticket" package. I don't know why, but they did not give my husband the code for the free suit and information on obtaining the companion ticket. We went back numerous times to get this simple information to no avail. It wasn't until three months after the wedding (and a very angry email to their customer service) that they sent me the information for both. End of the story? No!

I went to redeem the companion ticket (which was through a third party site) and they said that it had expired. I checked the website, and it said that the voucher is good for up to a year from when it is issued. The wedding was in December. It has not even been a year. I contacted customer service at the third party company, and they said that there was no way that the voucher could be "extended," even though it shouldn't have expired! I told them that, and they claimed that it expired September 30 of this year. What does September 30 have to do with anything? Also, there was no mention of this date on the promotional materials we received. I waste money on this. I will never use Men's Wearhouse ever again, and I am telling everyone I know to avoid them like a plague.

I was a groomsman at my friend's wedding. The groom picked out Calvin Klein tuxedos at a cost of $170. We went in for our fitting about 2 months before the wedding. Their rentals have to be picked up the day before the event and returned the day after the event, so really you don't have time to try on and make sure it fits. Once you are handed the tuxedo, you are thanked and they don't even offer the opportunity to try on.

So the day after, I put the tuxedo on, and the vest is missing a button. I paid $170 and they don't even have the common sense to make sure the buttons are on. I had to drive to Men's Wearhouse to get the vest fixed and that detour made me 20 minutes late to the ceremony, interrupting the ceremony so I can run to the front.

Do you guarantee the sales pre-assure and up selling we received in your Woodland Hills Store today, I couldn't believe it! I bring my son in to get 2 suits for graduation and prom; you're having a sale, buy one suit get one for $100.00. You would have thought we were the last sale in the world! The sales team (I counted 5 sales people) prepping shirts and ties and staring at my son and I. Now I appreciate good service but this was weird. The moment my son walked out of the dressing room for his fitting, 2 to 3 of them were right there pushing options, staring at him. He didn't know what to do, he looked at me and said "What's this?" We were just trying to get the first suit fitted. The Sales staff continued to stand around the table looking at us.

We liked the first suit but wanted to try another black suit because the one we found On Sale was just too big and would take a lot of alterations, the salesman (Phil) was trying to push the alterations and the tailor disagreed 3 or 4 times, the looks between the 2 of them were stressed to say the least. The tailor, upset with Phil, fitted the first suit then left the area. The salesman (Phil) then told me that there were no other black suit options other than spending almost $400 more. Now wait a minute, I'm in a Warehouse of Suits and they don't have another 40s black suit under $400? All the while, the accompanying Sales Team is staring at us, I finally had to announce to Phil and the team, excuse me, but we are on a budget here. I'm sorry, but I don't want to come in any store and announce to the world I'm watching what I have to spend. I was dropping every hint in the world to Phil that a $400 option just didn't work and he kept coming at us. Once I made my announcement, we were dropped like a hot potato handed the suit and Phil didn't even thank us, he was on to a new prospect and the crowd dispersed.

Checking out was odd, as the lady that rung up the suit and alterations input the wrong price and almost over charged us $150.00 because she missed the sales price. I asked for a breakdown because the suit was marked (right on the sleeve) $169.00. This is an honest mistake but the entire experience form selection to sale felt very uncomfortable and I will think twice before going to your store again. I do thank you for one thing, my son asked about what the heck was going on during the sale and fitting and I broke down the entire orchestrated sales process, having the one sale suit and not having any other sale options, to lining up all the shirts, ties belts and shoes, none of which we asked for, with the accompanying gallery. It was a wonderful lesson in pressure selling. I will pick up his suit this week we like it.

After lunch and our conversation, we went to Macys and found an iZOD black suit on sale for $155.00, and because we are Platinum Card holders, the alterations were free. I do want to thank your tailor, he wasn't after the sale he was a voice of reason, I honor him, maybe the salesmen should take some customer service hints from him.

I set up my account to be automatically paid each month on the 1st. My billing due date was the 25th of each month. Upon looking at a recent statement, I noticed I'm being charged $29 fees for late payments even though I have an auto payment going through on the 1st every month. After speaking with 4 different people at customer service, I learned that their system is set up where any payments made on the billing date for that month only credit to the previous month. This is a loophole and it has cost me $29 a month for 5 months. They told me had I scheduled my payments on the 2nd of each month, it would have credited for that month and not been considered late.

I am livid. Nowhere on their website or my bill does it states a payment will not be credited to the current month if it is submitted on the billing date. I received 5 straight months of late fees, which all got reported on my credit report. I also failed to pay down my balance because the extra fees they were charging me were higher than the payments I was making.

I rented a tuxedo for my daughter's wedding. The button of the coat popped off just seconds before I escorted my daughter down the aisle. The buttons were obviously not secured. This was an extremely embarrassing moment for me and my daughter. The wedding was witnessed by over 200 people. When I processed the complaint, the District Manager was only apologetic and said he would only give me a $50.00 gift certificate stating that "accidents happen". This type of courtesy treatment is totally unacceptable. I endured an embarrassment that I will have to endure forever. Asking for a 100% refund is not unreasonable. The Mens Wearhouse should take responsibility for their mishap.

On September 26, 2008, I rented a tuxedo for a wedding. During that time, Mychelle Brackenbury enrolled me in the Perfect Fit program. Attached to my rental receipt was a coupon stating that I would receive $25 off my next purchase. This was also stated by Mychelle verbally. When I went to pick up my tuxedo on October 26, 2008, I was told by a male sales manager that I had to spend $75, or else I could not utilize the coupon. Meanwhile, not only was this never stated to me before, but the coupon makes no mention of this assertion. In fact, the coupon clearly states that “no cash or credit will be issued if the value of this coupon exceeds purchase price. Clearly, this mention would not be included on the coupon if the assertion above were valid. To make matters worse, the sales manager had a very nonchalant “who cares attitude. Having extensive sales and business experience, I found this attitude less than appealing. I wound up just leaving and going home. The next morning I called the Hialeah location and spoke to Ruth and CeCe. Neither party was rude; however, I was given another explanation and still was not ensured resolution of my problem. Ruth initially stated that she was going to call “corporate, but later informed me that she spoke to a sales director of another location. According to Ruth, the sales director told her that I had an old coupon and I should have received a new coupon that stated the $75 clause. I reminded Ruth that my coupon did not expire until 12/25/2008. She told me that the company no longer uses the coupon I was given during the time of my purchase. She further implied that I could come into the store and she would try to put the coupon through, but warned me, that it would be unlikely for the coupon to work. She stated that the company removed the coupon from the system. Frankly, I really do not care whether or not this coupon is in use or was printed by mistake. The fact is I received this coupon as part of my expensive rental cost and becoming a “Perfect Fit member. Ironically, one would imagine that being a “Perfect Fit customer would entail receiving “Perfect Fit customer service. Based on the coupon and the responses given by Men’s Wearhouse, one could argue that this company committed false advertisement. How could you provide a customer with a coupon and then decide to just not honor it? I find this poor business practice and after this sour experience will take my wallet elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed in Men’s Wearhouse and intend on contacting the Florida State Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Affairs, and Channel 7 News. You just do not treat people this way.
