Purchased a suit from Men's Wearhouse in Zona Rosa. It had to be tailored so it was picked up before the wedding. Pants and jacket were perfectly sized. Sales clerk handling the pickup was rude and rushed. He bagged the suit and pants. I left them in the bag to keep them clean. As I started to dress 45 minutes before the wedding, it was evident that the associate bagged the wrong jacket which was way too small, didn't match in color, and still had pins and chalk marks on it. Looked like a teen prom jacket. Had to scramble to find an old ill fitting worn out suit. Ruined the entire wedding experience, photos, and joy. DON'T buy there!

I purchased a new suit and shirt with a month before I needed it. I paid in full on 8/14, but was told the pants were not in stock. They promised to have the pants in 2 weeks (8/28) latest. They required that I provide my phone number, email address, and mailing address, and told me I’d receive a call when they came in.

No call or email came, so I called today (9/4) to check on my order. I have been told that my order was CANCELED on 8/23, but they can’t tell me who cancelled it, or why I was not notified. I received no call, no email, and no credit was issued for my purchase even though they’ve had my money for 3 weeks.

They have now ordered an entirely new suit because the one they sold me 3 weeks ago is obsolete. As a consolation, they’ve offered to “WAVE THE RUSH-DELIVERY FEE” for the suit they promised me on 8/28 (are you kidding me?). Men’s Warehouse is not a business you can expect to keep their promise, or to communicate with you if there’s a problem. Businesses MUST keep their promises, to keep their customers. I wish that I’d checked their reviews before visiting the store. I fell for their lying advertising. THIS IS “THEFT BY DECEPTION”. I have very little faith that I will have the suit in time for the event, or that anyone will call me about this issue because that’s all they’ve exhibited so far. “YOU’LL LOVE THE WAY YOU LOOK WITHOUT THE SUIT YOU PAID FOR, BUT DIDN’T GET.”

My son is getting married in 2 days, he set it up for himself, best man, groomsmen, my grandson (ring bearer) and the bride and groom's fathers to be fitted and purchased at Men's Wearhouse. We went and were fitted for the entire suit to include jacket, vest, shirt, pants and shoes. And what was to come with that was tie, socks, and cuff links. They did not get anything at all right on my grandson, so I had to buy him his suit which I could not even come close to matching.

I, my older son (best man) and my grandson went to Men's wearhouse at Cool Springs Mall in Franklin Tn. They gave me us a price and when we went to pick them up they added a "rush fee" of 30 dollars for each. Then they excluded the vests on the two adult suits, but still charged the same price plus 30. And then I find out while I'm writing this review, that another groomsman was shorted his vest, as well. I do not, at this moment, know which men's wearhouse he went to, but it appears to me that this company is running a scam so people beware of this company. I was not going to leave them even 1 star but it won't let me post unless I do.

Went to their website and it happily said that they do measurements. Went to the store in Web Ginn Plaza in Snellville, Ga and got my husband's measurements for a wedding that he have to be in up in NY in September 2024 and he totally messed up his measurements. Not just 1 of them but all of them. I will never go to that store again. I thought they were supposed to be a good classy store. I ended up doing the measurements myself.

My husband and I went to the Men's Wearhouse in Wausau, WI yesterday. We had a very pleasant experience considering we needed to buy a suit that very day. The store manager, Tanya was extremely helpful, kind, and patient. She was very knowledgeable about the promotions, the inventory, and sizes that were available in the store. Plus, she had great suggestions to help complete my husband's attire. Tanya was friendly and professional. We will definitely be returning to Men's Wearhouse.

I’m giving 2 stars because the suits were all correct and there’s an option to rent everything. However, Professionalism and attitude were very poor at the Eagan, MN and Woodbury, MN locations. They were very rude to my mom when she was picking up my dad’s suit (father of the bride mind you) at Eagan. Very rude to my now husband at the Woodbury location and very rude to the groomsmen at the Woodbury locations both before, during and after the renting wedding suit process. My sister in law even brought her kid to get fitted and they did not appear helpful. They responded, “we don’t do kids often.” It’s even on video where one employee is seen stepping over my 3 year old nephew. Thankfully all the suits were right but I could go without the attitude next time. If there is one…

I proceeded to just buy the suit online and avoid having to go to store and deal with sales person after a snippet of her clearly NOT wanting to be at work. The suit came, the pants…. They look like a 10 yr old hemmed them. The stitching is uneven and showing through material. The stitch is also twisted. NO ONE will answer my calls. I have been on the phone now almost an hour and a half on eternal hold. Worst experience EVER. Do any/everything to avoid this company. I can’t even get someone on the phone to make this right! Not good. Family has been customers for 30 years. The store in Albany New York has left me so disappointed. 16-year-old kids left to run the store had absolutely no idea what they were doing. My sons and I got measured for suits for a wedding. I was told to come in and pick up my tuxedo. I was told to try it on at pickup. The pants were 8 in too short. I have no idea how nobody noticed this including the seamstress. They were the same length as they were wide. I got an, "I'm sorry about this sir. Come back tomorrow." Come back tomorrow? The wedding is tomorrow. I have a full schedule. To 30 minute drive each way for me to come back here again. I reached out to Men's Wearhouse and was offered $500 in rewards points if I wanted to sign up to become a rewards member. Can you imagine?

That's how they felt they could compensate me as if I'm ever going there again. I spent $600 in that store last week and this is how they treated me. Shameful. There are plenty of other much more professional places to go in the area. After 30 years, we won't be back. And no I'm not uploading a picture of my receipt. They know who I am and they know what they did and they also know how much I spent.

I repeat do not shop here. This business (Bowie, Maryland) location needs to be closed. Husband had a suit tailored. Went to do a fitting and the sleeves were too short on the jacket and he ordered 3 buttons and received 2 button. The jacket had to be reordered and was informed it would be ready in time for our son’s destination wedding. Oh well when we went to pick it up which he had to reach out to them, the jacket had not been changed at all. The manager tried to say it was a misunderstanding but he lied just like the salesman. We got a full refund and will not shop there ever again.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Men’s Wearhouse. I rented a suit for a wedding, and it was a disaster. The pants arrived with a hole in them, and the jacket was altered so much that it was far too small. This was not just my issue; the entire wedding party had similar problems. One of the groomsmen had a suit with the hemline showing, which looked extremely tacky. My son’s suit was so uncomfortable that he spent the entire event worried it would tear again. For the price we paid, the quality was absolutely unacceptable. We will never rent from Men’s Wearhouse again.

The customer service was great. BUT I paid for my suit to be adjusted so that it fits my body better and NOT ONLY did they not make the adjustments but the markings for the adjustments were still on the suit. It was terrible because I specifically told them that the suit was for my brother's wedding so everything needed to be correct, so I paid for that. They did not do what they took my money for. My pants fit terribly but the jacket was fine, but only because the jacket already had a decent fit.

So I took it to the store to have it fixed. The clerk told me my posture caused the buckle. No other suite I own does it. He further said there was nothing they could do to fix it. I have good posture, no deformities on my body. I left the store frustrated and I will not buy there again.

AWFUL! If I could give negative stars I would. We only used them because the groomsmen were in different states and they could go to their local store for measurements. 7 of the groomsmen's tux were wrong the day of pick up and had to be re altered and picked up within the next 2 days. They all had these big country cuffs where you could see the line where they sewed them up. The customer service was horrible as well, upon selecting the suits we were told there would be a $45 deposit and balance to be paid upon pick up however, when the guys went for measurements they had to pay in full which was a inconvenience for all. Called customer service, they informed me I was given wrong information about the deposit and they would have to pay the full amount.

Well, went today at 2:30pm to do the exchange. After standing around for OVER AN HOUR, along w. 12 other customers that weren't getting any help, we walked out of the store. The workers only want to be on the phone, they don't actually want to work. I'd recommend getting sized here & going elsewhere for a suit. They don't deserve your business unless you have hours and hours to sit around and wait for when they want to help you. Horrible managed establishment.

I took our 16 year old son to the Men's Wearhouse location at S Hulen Street in Fort Worth to look for a basic suit and some jackets. We were helped by a lady named "Sandra" and she was AMAZING. From start to finish, she was so helpful and made the entire experience shopping at Men's Wearhouse actually fun. She listened to what he was after and then started her hunt throughout the store to find us what he was looking for. There was much laughter to be had as she helped us. And when all was said and done, we left with three suit jackets, pants, shirt, belt, tie, shoes and socks. She found us all things that were in the price range we were looking for as well as the style our son was looking for.

Sandra was honestly amazing and I just have to say her customer service was the best customer service I have experienced at a company in a long, long time. She made the shopping experience enjoyable (haven't laughed so much in a long time!) and made me want to come back to her when we are looking for some more clothing for any of the males in our family. So if you are in the Fort Worth area, go to the Men's Wearhouse on S Hulen Street and ask for Sandra. Our son even liked what she helped pick out so much that he literally left the store wearing one of the suit jackets. ;-) Sandra was literally awesome and I'm so glad she was working when we came in this past week! (And to whoever hired Sandra... I think you should give her a raise! She definitely earned it!)

We stood there about 15 minutes then I finally asked one of the sales lady if she worked there and if she could help us. I've rented tux/suits for my grandson prom the past 3 years and have always gotten the perfect fit $99 deal which I thought that's what we was getting this time as well but we get to checkout and was charged $239.26 and he didn't even get the shoes this year. As my grandson was picking out which tux he wanted, picked his colors and was getting fitted we should have been given a price. I had already looked online and knew that you all still offer the $99 package.

Went to the Men's Wearhouse in Cary to get better help; the guy sized everything like it should’ve been and after one of our groomsmen’s ordered we were told they were no longer making those suits so some of our groomsmen couldn’t order because they no longer had their size. We were also told they could help us with our 2 year old's suit. Come to find out they don’t even offer kids'.. But in all fairness I have no knowledge of suits and trusted the salesperson. Tried on the pants and they do not fit, way short. Bring it back and told they can't fix it. To me $546 is a lot and I should have pants that fit. This was at the Poughkeepsie NY store. There are better options that won't rip you off.

I had to purchase a suit for a funeral, and decided to use Men's Wearhouse. I had used them in the past, their suits were always priced reasonably, the quality decent, and best of all comfortable. Their salesman were always professional, and they knew how to fit a suit to any body type.. It had been a few years since owning a suit, and I know styles have changed, and so have I. I've always had an athletic build, so a well tailored suit is essential for me.

This time I'm not sure if the salesman was just too young, wasn't interested or did not know what he was doing. Bottom line, they did not have the size suit jacket I needed in the style I preferred, so he sold me on this newer design of suit that is fine if you are 21 and have a 28" waist and legs the size of pencils. At this point, I did not have much choice, I needed this suit sooner than later, so I went with his recommendation, thinking they can tailor this new suit style to fit to anyone's size...wrong. Picked up the suit the day before the funeral, tried it on, it did not fit properly.

The jacket was too tight across the shoulders, the buttons did not line up, the trousers were so badly tailored that I felt like I could rip out the seams on the legs, there is no way you could bend down in this suit without ripping something...basically crappy tailoring of a suit, or maybe it was the quality of the material, or just the styling but this suit felt like something I could have bought from K-Mart for a lot less than $600 bucks... I was planning on taking it back, but not sure they could make it any better or would offer any money back, etc.. Just be warned, know your tailor, and know your suits..

My son accidentally left his money clip with cash, credit card, and college ID in the pocket of the tux pants he wore in my other son's wedding. We only realized it a few days later. We called to see if someone found them. We were told to leave a detailed description of items and they will send them back if they find them. We truly did not expect to ever see them again. A few weeks later, we got a tracking number for the items found. And within a few days, my son had everything that was left in the pocket. We were so impressed with the integrity of the workers who would have an opportunity to steal the cash, charge the credit card, steal his identity, etc. But because of this experience, we have been telling anyone who will listen how wonderful this company is and if this son ever gets married, you can be sure he will be using Men's Wearhouse for his Tuxedo Rental. The hem coming out of pants and jackets and the list goes on. Out of 11 people we only had one correct Order. No fixing it so we had to dress him in black suit (They did give us that suit for free). The good news is there a MW all over. The bad news is there was just not enough time to make it right. The shirt was short on the sleeves and a really cheap material. The tux jacket looked like I had big shoulder pads. When I returned the tux the next day, I realized a day or so later that I left a thin wallet in the back pocket with my driver’s license and one credit card. Also $70 in cash.

I called the store and was referred to another entity that appears to warehouse their rentals. I was told if it was found they would contact me and if not I would hear nothing. Well I heard nothing and it’s been a over a month. You would think the renting store would at a minimum check the pockets, or that their warehouse would employ honest people. I replaced the license and the credit card, and wrote off the cash, but I’ll never return to Men's Warehouse.

    - One tux had different length sleeves - when this was brought up, we were told it was because the person's shoulders were different sizes (obviously, not true)
    - Two members in our group gave their Regular - size tuxes to the employees and they ordered the tuxes as Slim and Long... Mind you, these are two 35 year corporate employees.

    - Every error that occurred, the employees stated that it was somehow our fault (including measurements and shoulder sizes). Even up until the day before the wedding, we still were not sure the tuxes were correct.

I made 6 total trips to Men's Wearhouse, trying to get these tuxes straight for our wedding. I am very disappointed in my experience, I'm disappointed my groomsmen paid money for all of these mistakes, and I will not be back to Men's Wearhouse.

She said she could take his measurements but the computer had some kind or problem. She then walks away and goes to the front of the store and appears to start working as a cashier. Then heard her ask the other person at the register if they needed help and he said no. DO NO USE MEN'S WEARHOUSE FOR YOUR WEDDING! You will regret it. Nothing will go right. Everything will get messed up. It will cause you stress leading up to what is already a stressful event to plan, coordinate and execute. The last thing you want it to be stressed about is your suit(s). If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. The Atlanta GA, Buckhead store especially gets a 0 star review. The store associates are incompetent, lazy & apathetic. None of them care about accurate or timely customer service. All of them were a displeasure to interact.

I purchased a custom suit for my wedding because when setting up rentals for my groomsmen and myself, I wanted to purchase the suit I would rent; however, I was told that is not possible, and given no actual reason why. Just told "we don't do that." The person who input my party's names / information misspelled every name on the order. How difficult is it to copy a name from a piece of paper over to a computer? Small errors like this are 100% indicative of a broader problem with the people working here: lazy, apathetic and incompetent.

The sales associate who fitted me for my suit was so incompetent, he almost submitted my order with an inaccurate phone number. If I had not reviewed the order & corrected it, I would have faced many more issues since phone numbers are the way orders are looked up. Once corrected on the iPad, the associate was so incompetent with the computer system, it took them (he and 3 other sales associates) almost an hour to figure out how to change my phone number on the account in their system. After spending almost 2 hours in the store, I had my wedding suit purchased and rentals setup.

I selected a rental that is advertised as "Calvin Klein Blue Suit" with the key word being "suit." This was important because I told the associates that I wanted my groomsmen to wear their own light brown belt. I made the explicitly clear to the sales associate, and they assured me this rental would be a good option. However, 3 days before the wedding, my groomsmen send me pictures and the pants had no belt loops. When I confronted the associate, he became defensive, angry and rude and suggested they could "return the rentals." Obviously this was not an option given that it was 2 days before the wedding.

Fast forward almost 2 months, and I have heard no updates on my suit. I call and got on the phone with the person who originally placed my order. After 30 minutes, he can't find the order or figure out how to find it and must ask others to help him with the computer system. He finally finds the order, and he informs me that it "has only just left China via DHL." Keep in mind, this is weeks before my wedding and almost 2 months AFTER placing the order. I ask for the tracking code, which ends up being incorrect. Apparently, it is too difficult to properly read a tracking code off of a screen over the phone.

I call back a day later and had the displeasure of speaking with an associate who was rude, loud and unhelpful. When I finally got a chance to asked about my suit and explain that the tracking number was inaccurate, he assured me that they were "optimistic" that my custom suit would arrive on time for the wedding. When I asked for the tracking number he said he couldn't get it because that information was "on the other side of the store in the computer." I was shocked at the laziness. He took down my number and said someone would call me back; no one called.

I then decide to rent 3 different colored vests, so I could try them on the day of the wedding and decide which color I liked best. After being fitted for a vest with an associate, I assumed they would fit. They did not, so I was unable to wear a vest on my wedding day. Multiple of my groomsmen in different stores around the country had similar terrible experiences with incompetent, lazy & apathetic store associates. Men's Wearhouse is an awful company. This store is a terrible location. Avoid Men's Wearhouse for your wedding at all costs. Buyer beware.

A tie instead of bow tie. The wrong size jacket. His pants have no button on them! The customer service when I called about this was terrible! The lady named Jennifer was rude and disrespectful! Just to provide a bit of background. I am a 16 year old who wanted to go to prom, just like any other kid. I made the grave mistake of waiting until the week of prom to get my suit. I go to my local Men's Wearhouse where I am able to get pants, a dress shirt, and a bowtie. The only piece missing to my puzzle was the jacket. I was going for the all black look so we tried on a grey jacket of the same brand to see if it would fit me and then they would order the black jacket in my size online and it would be delivered to my house on Thursday, perfecting timing for prom.

The order is set and Thursday comes around and the jacket isn't there, so I call Men's Wearhouse and they say "it is unavailable due to lack of inventory since we have a lot of prom requests". So now I am absolutely in frantic mode wondering what I am going to do. This is where Gail comes in. I make the decision to head into the Men's Wearhouse and see if there anything I can do last minute. I explain to Gail my situation and she was completely understanding of. She made it up to me by saying "let's see what we can do because it getting canceled was completely unfair". She goes to the back and brings back a jacket which was an Egara blue metallic jacket which looked stunning and fit on me perfectly and didn't need to get tailored. And to make up for the inconvenience she lent it to me for free on the condition I return it. Then I went to prom with my date and we looked fantastic. Gail truly makes miracles happen.

Today, I went through stuff in my closet and came across that package. I opened it, and to my surprise, the shoes were different colors (tan and brown) although the same type and size, which looked like a bad practical joke. The box was for a different shoe brand and was distressed with lots of handwriting and markings. Customer service wouldn't make an exception to their 90-day policy even though it was clearly their fault. Because there was no replacement in stock, I have to go through the trouble of returning it to the nearest store or shipping it back and waiting to receive a gift card. Sloppy work and tells me that their quality control is ZERO. Will never buy from them again, period!

The shoes they give you for tux rentals are extremely uncomfortable, even for dress shoes. $250 for a tux is way too much, they never get sizing right the first time I've had to go to them for fittings for a wedding, and having to return the tux on the day after the wedding is absurd. I could understand a Tuesday, even a Monday, but the very next day. Wow. That's crappy business practice. For the amount you pay to rent a suit, you can have your groomsmen buy one that's just as nice and they own and can use for years to come. I've already been able to do that with 2 weddings I've been in and it was by far the best choice. Do not go here. There is nothing useful about this place other than there being multiple locations and you can return the rental to any of them.

Their website gave me an error message stating that there was an error trying to place my order and that I should please try again. So, I tried to place the order 2 more times. Then I called menswearhouse.com and their agent I spoke with tried to place the order for me twice. Both times she got the same error message on her computer. So, I checked my Online Banking App (Wells Fargo.) Whoa!! Men'sWearhouse had charged me for the item 6 times and had reversed 2 of the charges. The item was $19.99. So, I called My bank and was scheduled for callback from them.

Then, I called Men'sWearhouse.com again. The agent I spoke with there told me these exact words: "We don't know why the website does this to customers, when it gives them an error message over and over but charges them for the order each time. Our managers told us that those charges will drop off in 5-7 business days but there's nothing we can do to help you." As I began having a bit of a panic attack, I told the agent that I would like to speak with the highest ranking employee available. She told me that they cannot talk to me at that moment But that she can schedule a time for them to call me within 24-48 hours. So I had her schedule that callback.

This is disgusting. Men'sWearhouse KNOWs it happens, doesn't hire someone to fix the poor design of their website, and continues to allow their website to steal money from their customers. What if I had not noticed that Men'sWearhouse had charged me $160, minus the $40 that they reversed back to my bank account? I would have lost all of that money. Sick.

Last Sunday I went to the Men’s Wearhouse on SmithRidge in Reno because my father had died 2 days prior. I was not aware at this time about a mandatory mask mandate that has once again been forced on the people. This review is not about debating masks…It is about the extreme lack of professionalism, service, rudeness, and zero human empathy of the entire staff.

As soon as I entered (wearing no mask) the store several employees and sales staff saw me. Not a single one would do more than glance at me and then look away. Nobody came up to me and offered assistance. I would think that this type of retail and service would know that the majority of its customers will require help. For several minutes I stood there with no offers of assistance and several idle sales staff just gossiping or messing with their phone. Eventually I approached two employees that were chatting. I asked for some help and one of them told me they will not help me because I am not wearing a mask. I explained that my father just died and I was not aware of this mandate. He then smugly replied “too bad but sorry it’s our policy”.

I asked if they had a paper mask I could use or something in its place. He told me to get my own mask and offered no solution or even a remote interest in helping me in any way. During this time several employees are just staring and did absolutely nothing. I said I guess I’ll just leave then. He said “yep”. The callousness and rudeness shown to me was absolutely ridiculous. This place hires entitled rude little punks with no class or social values. They have zero business working anywhere a customer is involved. I will never go back. Just got married in October 2019 and our experience with our entire bridal party, Godfather of the Bride and the Groom was absolutely horrible. Out of 7 men and two young boys, only two tuxedos were measured correctly. The remaining tuxedos all had HIGH WATER pants! All of our men DO NOT WEAR HIGH WATER PANTS! Instead of the pants being at the regular length and sitting at top of the shoe, their pants were stopping at their ankles. This is not what we requested and this is what we kept getting at the time of their fittings! Not to mention that both my Godfather and my now husband went back THREE times with incorrect tuxedos.

My husband's tuxedo didn't even match as far as color. The jacket was a darker black than the black pants. Staff made the excuse that the jacket has more material layers than the pants! The pants were faded from being cleaned so many times! Watch out Bride-to-Be's! Don't go through the headaches that we did! The experience with the fittings was so horrible that our rehearsal dinner was DELAYED 3 HOURS because of these fitting issues!

I finally talked with the manager and she resolved the situation for me. She was really great and very nice about everything. She said that the store will do what they can when they can. She worked with calling me as soon as she could get enough money in the store to cover my return. I will be returning to this store again since I know that the management does pay attention.

I have never shopped at Mens Wearhouse before and decided to give them a shot for buying a suit and all of the necessary things that I would need with it. A few weeks after I had purchased everything and inside of the 90 day return policy I was getting ready and trying things on before our wedding event. The shoes were not fitting well and since they had never been worn besides trying them on, I decided to return them. I went to the store to be told that they could not return them for cash as I had paid for everything in cash, and I would be given a check in the mail in 7 or so days. The event was that next day and that would not work. I have put over $1400 into purchasing everything and to return shoes around $200 and to need to get replacement shoes quickly I was now in a pinch. How can a store do this to customers that pay instantly for something in cash and can not get the instant return in the store inside of their return policy and with a receipt?

I never shopped Men's Wearhouse. About 10 months ago, I decided to give them a shot. Although their casual dress clothes and dress shirts are of great quality, their men's suits by Kenneth Cole with the Men's Wearhouse name are ridiculously cheaply made. I paid a fortune for two of these suits. I had the same problem with both of them. In the pants, the back pocket ripped out on the side that I wear my wallet. Which wouldn't be so bad, but it was $300 just to replace the pants. I find these prices for this poor quality quite abominable. I also would like to add that their tailoring department isn't the greatest. If you are going to shop here, avoid the suits. As I said, the rest is fine, but my experience with their poor quality suits has left a poor taste in my mouth. Also, salespeople are quite aggressive and pushy, which makes for a stressful shopping experience.

WORST TUX RENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER! EVER! Went there to get measured over two weeks before the event and to pick out the tux and accessories I wanted. Went to pick it up three days before the event and it didn't even come close to fitting--I looked like a clown. The shirt was so small I couldn't button the sleeves. The pants were inches above my ankles--literally, I am not kidding, it looked like I was ready for Noah's flood--and too tight in the waist and hips. The vest could not be buttoned, and the jacket fit so poorly it was ready to rip. It was as if they had simply ignored all the measurements they had taken two weeks before or else were trying to shoehorn me into somebody else's tux!

Dorice **, Formal wear Manager, and also the person who we worked with and took all of the measurements offered all sorts of excuses about why it didn't fit, none of which made any sense, and wanted to call in a tailor to have it altered in time for the event, but if it didn't fit that morning there would have been no time to have it fixed, so forget that since I already knew they were incompetent when it came to fitting a tux. Why spend even more of my time to let them try to rectify their failure?! To top it all off, the dressing rooms were disgustingly filthy--they claimed the vacuum cleaner was broken. I guess they can't find an appliance store to buy as new one. I took the refund instead, walked out, and will never enter a Men's Wearhouse again. Never.

I purchased a pair of dress shoes for my son’s wedding. I went to Men's Wearhouse in Santa Ana and tried on a size 10-1/2 and then 11, and decided to go with the 10-1/2. Two days later I drove to Sonora (a rustic Sierra Nevada town) where one hour before the wedding I found they had boxed a size 10-1/2 and a size 9 shoe. I telephoned the manager ½ before the wedding and told him and asked what he would do about it.. He said he would take care of me. I had to wear my sneakers with my suit for the wedding. I Upon returning the shoes the next business day, the same guy who sold me the shoes attended to me. He did nothing to compensate me for their incompetent error. I was refunded the money I paid but was not even offered back the $50 awards coupon I had accrued from past patronage. I will never shop at Men's Wearhouse again!

Tried to buy a tux online. Found a great deal, but... 1) Their website kept bouncing around, up and down, making navigation very difficult. 2) I tried to read "reviews" for the product and, yes, again, their website kept malfunctioning, making it all but impossible. 3) I finally was able to choose "Buy" to purchase the tux and... rather than providing a clear path to "check out," their system aggressively forces "upsell" products on you. 4) I finally got to the checkout and... again... their incompetence shines. When I clicked on "Guest Checkout," their system captured my VISA and personal data, then when I click to finalize the purchase... instead of finalizing it, it forces me to "sign up and sign in" as a member (even though I've already chosen to check out as a "guest"). 5) I, nevertheless, foolishly sign up and sign in and... NOTHING!!!!!

So, I've wasted half an hour of my life with an incompetent company and I don't even know if a charge is going to appear on my VISA today. Tomorrow. God knows, with this incompetent group, perhaps in a year or two? So... what next???? I called their customer service. True to form, it took over 15 minutes on hold to get a person. And... guess what? When their CS person finally comes on the phone, this 3rd world company's 5th rate technology is so bad, I can literally only hear maybe every fifth or sixth word the CS rep is saying to me. The salesperson told him that he could order them and have them sent with over night service through FedEx. So, the pants were supposed to arrive Wednesday and they didn't. Then, he spoke with the manager and she told him that she would have them sent to the store and he could pick them up this morning because he needed them by 2:00 pm to attend his best friends wedding. She said that she would call as soon as they arrived.

We called the store three times around 12:00 pm and each time we were placed on hold and no one ever picked the telephone back up to talk to us. So, I went to the store and found the manager. She pretended to check and said that she could see they were on the way and they should be there within the next 30 minutes. Well, I left and my son went there at 2:00 pm and she brings out a pair of beige sports pants. His suit was black. The wedding starts at 5:00 pm in Washington, DC and we live an hour away when it is not a Friday or rush hour. So, now he can't attend because he doesn't have anything to wear!

When I was there, another gentleman was going through the same thing. He was leaving town to attend an event this evening and they didn't have his suit. He was told that he could pick up his suit Thursday (today is Friday) but, it was there. The staff and their customer service is totally unprofessional. They will tell you anything to get your sale (looks good to management) and then leave you in a bad predicament. Don't trust anything the staff tells you. They will tell you any lie they can think of to get your money and get you out of the door!

They did not reach the end of the jacket sleeve, when I tried on the shirt the assistant said it was a good fit. When I stepped out the front door a clerk approached me and asked to see my receipt. My adult son was in a wedding party and got the tux from your Toms River store. He was helped by an elderly woman with gray hair. She took measurements. When the tux arrived the pants were too long and the jacket sleeves needed to be taken up. We had this same sales associate. She said the pants needed tailoring and we’d have to come back. That was impossible because the wedding was the next day. Another sales associate helped us and got suspenders. Problem solved for the pants.

The old woman said she would do the jacket but we’d have to wait. That was fine. The sleeves were laughable. It was like a child did them! She said she could do it again and do a better job. Why didn’t she do a better job to begin with?? I told her forget it. We had to go and left with the tux. The other groomsmen commented on his tux and how ill fitting it was! Also the shoes were the wrong size, shirt too small and jacket did not fit well at all. I’d never recommend Men’s Wearhouse to anyone!! There was more that happened with this old woman.

We selected Men’s Wearhouse due to their proximity to everyone in our wedding party. We asked around and our friends and family were 50/50 on satisfaction with them. We decided to give them a try. Initially they were great. Super helpful, eager to help, it was wonderful. Once we selected our suit, everything went downhill. Not only was the $399 suit package more than we were initially hoping to spend, but we asked multiple time, “this is the total price for everything, correct?”

In the end, our groomsmen and the groom needed to pay for all alterations. (Maybe we should have expected it, but we hadn’t gotten a suit there before.) We thought alterations were included with the $399 suit purchase. They did every nip and tuck to make it perfect, regardless if it was noticeable or not. They didn’t talk you through it and your options, they just did it and expected you to pay for it - $20 here, $25 there. When all was said and done, the suit was just under $500 and that was just for the groom. We were furious.

We went to a different Men’s Wearhouse location, told them our issues and they were even appalled that we weren’t talked through anything. They talked to us, re- took the [necessary] measurements and made the alterations. Only 3 of the roughly 12 alterations were actually needed. We ended up feeling generally satisfied when we left and placed the order. The groomsmen went in and purchased their suits without issues. When the suits can back and the groomsmen went to pick them up, the best man and two groomsmen needed to send their suits back for additional alterations - one needed to send his suit back three times.

When we picked the groom's suit up, the pocket was pulled on each side and we asked them if they could fix that. They said that my now husband's build isn’t suitable for this suit, “it’s not something you’re going to be able to fix without ordering a custom suit.” ...Would have been nice to know from the get go when the measurements were taken. On average, the guys spent roughly $500 on each of their supposed $399 suits. Just a terrible experience. We gave two stars because the suit fabric is good quality and in general, the suits looked nice in the end.

My 19-year-old son needed dress pants for his first job so we decided to shop at Men's Wearhouse in Tyler, TX. Huge mistake. My son wears about a size 34 waist & 30 length pant. We were told by a store associate that they didn’t have his size but they could custom make them for him. The store associate measured my son for the “Custom Express Joe Abboud” pants. We picked out the material for his pants from a small swatch the salesman had. The pants were really expensive at $120 each but we thought we were buying top of the line pants that would wash well and wear well. The salesman then sold us what he called a “permanent crease” and also “shirt grippers” for an additional $30 per pair. Never in my life had I paid this much for dress pants but it was my son’s first job so we paid $300 ($150 each) for two pair of pants!

I could go on about the store not having them ready when they said but skip ahead 10 days and now, I will tell you how horrible and cheap these pants actually are. First there is no permanent crease anywhere. We took the pants to a dry cleaner and they still came out looking like cotton clothing that you slept in all night. I’ve tried ironing them but the pants will not hold a crease and have a really bad crinkled look to them all over. We've had them for two weeks now and the seam that runs up each leg is drawing up almost like it has elastic in it. The pant leg cuffs are doing the same. I have Dockers in my closet that look 100% better than these pants and they cost me about $40 not $150! I believe that Men’s Wearhouse sells inferior products for an exorbitant price to unwittingly consumers. They won’t sell to this consumer anymore!

    To whom it may concern:

I have had bad experiences with Men's Wearhouse in the past, they overcharged my groomsmen and refused to find or get a matching suit for one of my smaller groomsmen. They did assist me after writing a review, they kind of made it right with ALL 7 of my groomsmen that actually bought their suits NOT rented them and with my now husband and I.

So I tried to use them again and utilize the gift cards they gave us for making our wedding a slight ** show. Went into the store in Midland, MI. They did not have the suit my husband was looking for, for his Medical School interviews. The salesperson was nice and called the Flint, MI store and put this suit on hold for him. Went drove from Midland to Flint which is not close at all! He tried on the suit, they did a couple alterations and we were on our way. The suit when he went to wear it was not fitted correctly and did not look that good. He called the Saginaw, MI store which is the closest to us and the one we had problems with before, he was told he could return that suit there and that it was under new management from the last time we were in there.

We decided to give them one more chance. Went into the store. Waited 30 minutes for someone to help us as they were busy and we understood that since it was prom season. The associate started to help us, got the 2 suits figured out, the alterations worked out and went to check out. They could not find the original suit purchase in their system but worked around that. We paid 730.00 for the suits and was told it would be about 3 weeks to get them tailored and ready.

I went in today and picked them up. The associate was nice helped me right away, she said she was going to package them and I would be on my way. When she brought them out they were packaged in what might as well be a ** trash bag with a logo on it. I asked "don't I get a nice Men's Warehouse suit bag". Her reply was that they were out of them, when I saw 100 plus suits on the racks in suit bags. I look at the Manager and he just tells the associate that they were out. I was like "REALLY? ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?" She was like, "Yes we don't have any."

I asked if I could ever get them seeing as how now I have 2 suits that I can not even put in closet without hanging them in a ** trash bag. She did say that I could stop back in, in a couple weeks to see "IF" they have them. THIS IS NOT WHAT I EXPECT WHEN I PUT OUT OVER 700.00 FOR A SUIT FROM A SUIT STORE. Hello this is all that you guys do as a company and cannot even keep enough product in for your customer.

I have to say at this point my husband nor I will ever set foot in any one of these stores again. I would rather take my business to a department store that you expect crappy service from and get what we need. Matter of fact the last time we bought suits from Macy's they were the best people to deal with and were there to actually help us, and we got a very nice suit bag for each suit that we bought. Unlike Men's Warehouse when you buy 2 suits you get them in one ** trash bag, it's good to know what you guys think about your company and your product!! If I was anyone of you reading this I would take your business and money to Macy's where you get treated like a person and get a good product most of the time cheaper.

When I came to pick it up on the eighth day, the store could not find it for a half hour. This was upsetting because my event was in two days. After they found it, they said that they could not find it because the alteration ticket was not on it. Because my event was so close, there was no point in trying the suit on, because even if changes could be made, my schedule did not permit sufficient time.

As I walked out, I was confounded by the poor organization and follow through. In my career, I spent 15 years managing a jewelry store and would have never tolerated such practices. A female sales clerk bid me a "wonderful" day, which could be interpreted as nothing less than sarcasm when an apology was due. I received no apology for the confusion and frustration. Adding to the disaster was the fact that when I put the suit on, NONE of the alterations were done - which explains the missing ticket. I will pay for alterations elsewhere and never, ever cross their threshold again. However, I will share my experience with others to warn others of the "buyer beware" axiom.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. I rented a tux with the store in Shenandoah, TX. The service was absolutely unacceptable. First, my tux did not fit. They gave me a coat that was too small and the pants were 4 sizes too big. I might as well have never been fitted for it (which I was). They took my measurements again and overnighted a new tux jacket. They claimed it was impossible to give me smaller pants so I was forced to pay extra for suspenders. The next day (the day before the wedding) I arrived to pick up the new tux. The coat WAS THE SAME SIZE. They measured the jacket sleeves and sent it back to the tailor to have it fixed. They also needed to move the buttons so that the torso would fit properly.

All of this was marked with chalk on the coat. When I came back an hour later, they had not touched the buttons, but the tailor had hemmed the sleeves EVEN SHORTER! So for the third time in less than 24 hours they provided me with the wrong product and they had to make it right. In addition to this, both times I came into the store on the second day the attendant handed me the tux and tried to shoo me out the door without trying it on. He never apologized to me for the poor service. All of the employees in the store acted as if I had a problem and was a nuisance for expecting my tuxedo to fit properly. I was given a half-hearted apology by who I believe was the manager but she never told me specifically. After all of this I still had to pay full price for a suit that did not fit correctly and required three re-fittings. It was completely unacceptable and I will never use Men's Wearhouse or recommend them to someone in the future.

So, when we left the store, Mr. ** was very professional and very polite and did not show any disrespect towards us for wasting his time. We went to JoS A. Bank that was located a block away, where we had the worst experience. We realized that we made the biggest mistake of visiting JoS A. Bank and decided to come back to Men's Wearhouse.

We were greeted by the same pleasantness and politeness. Mr. ** helped us with our purchase, and out of my respect to all the staff at the Men's Wearhouse store. I bought additional items even though I had not planned earlier. I was very happy to give them $400 worth of business. If you are ever planning to visit JoS A. I cannot understand how they can release merchandise like this and be proud to stand for their product. They should be embarrassed!

I bought a suit from the store on 17th and Chestnut in Philadelphia end of February 2018. By mid November 2018 the pants were ripped from the bottom, took it back to the store and the manager William told me that it is because of the seat I am using at work. Fabric is tough on the fine garments, which is BS to me as my other suits are perfectly fine and lasts longer than 10 months. He took it to repair and I got back today Nov. 28th 2018 where they fixed the ripped part of the pants and I found other parts in the pants around the right side pocket and the back pocket also ripped, which tells me that the fabric is too bad.

Another manager told me that it is because the pants a bit tight, which is also another BS. They do not want to admit that the material of the suits is so cheap and wears too fast. That was my first and will be my last time to buy anything from Men's Wearhouse. Be careful, do not get deceived by the way they treat you when buying as it will different from the way they will treat you when taking it back for repairs because of the bad materials.

Needless to say, they were not very accommodating on correcting their mistakes so we returned the suit and went elsewhere.

This was by far the worst tuxedo rental ever. They make you give a rating on this site so I had to give it a 1. But Men’s Wearhouse in Columbia Maryland deserves a 0 if not worse. This was my daughter's wedding and they screwed every rental except for two bridal party members. Not bad, w out of ten rentals! My tux had a huge hole in the waist. Not button or clip to close the pants.

Jackets had been altered so many times that the material on the one side of the jacket was pulled in so much farther than the other side that the jacket fit was lopsided. Wrong shoes. Pants way too short, vest too small. I did get another pair of pants but had to come back to get them and they still needed more alterations. They wanted me to come back AGAIN. I told them I was not leaving until they fixed the pants. They did while I waited but they took forever. They pressed the jacket but the former alterations were very apparent and the jacket never was comfortable. THIS WAS THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING. WE ORDERED THESE TWO MONTHS AGO!

One groomsman went to get dressed before the wedding and they forgot to put his shoes in his bag. He had to borrow a pair of shoes 20 minutes before the ceremony. Five tuxedos were missing the pocket squares resulting in none of us wearing pockets squares so we would match. I knew I was in trouble when we first ordered the tuxedos when they had a high school kid measuring me and I had to tell him what sizes to order. And they still got it wrong. Their signature line is, "You’re going to like the way you look..." NONE OF US LIKED THE WAY WE LOOKED! And Men’s Wearhouse located in Columbia Maryland DID NOT CARE!

My son's wedding was 10 days ago. He chose the Men's Wearhouse store because of their convenient location and the style availability. Rental price was $500 per tuxedo regardless of size (adult/child). Fairly high for a rental (in my opinion). As the groomsmen were contacted (a few weeks prior to wedding day) they were advised their tuxedos were ready for final fitting. As the groomsmen individually stopped in for final fittings we ran into several issues of incomplete tuxedos, missing vest, missing shirts, missing ties, missing shoes and incorrect sizes. Each time we were reassured that the missing item would be ordered in time for the wedding.

On the final Friday prior to the wedding (Sunday) we still had a handful of groomsmen without a full tuxedo and were told that we waited too long to pick up the tuxedos. We attempted to explain that several attempts had been made but full tuxedos were not ready. We were then told that being a Friday evening, there was nothing else they could do therefore we would have to get the missing tuxedos elsewhere. So we had about half the court with tuxedos and the others were all missing a portion of the set. The store representatives were unapologetic nor understanding to the importance of these tuxedos as the wedding was now one day away. Although the tuxedos were paid the representative continued to comment that they were not paid off yet. He struggled with understanding how to pull up or verify balances for each groomsman so he reverted to comment that they were not paid and nothing else could be done.

All the groomsmen had valid receipts to show their payoff amounts but this was still not enough to get the proper support. The representative offered to refund one groomsman for his missing shoes and one grandchild for his missing vest and tie, none of which could be done prior to the Monday after the wedding. Needless to say we were not successful in speaking to a manager nor did anyone follow up as we were told would happen. Wedding planning is stressful enough but the lack of commitment to any customer a day before the wedding on following thru with a full tuxedo is beyond poor customer service. No one mentioned it was first come, first serve basis to pick up a tuxedo that was "paid in full".

Absolutely unacceptable. My recommendation is that we redefine what the term "rental" really is within your contract. I would also suggest you clearly point out it's a "first come, first serve" basis/"no guarantee" (even if it's paid off). Let's stop misleading your customers and avoid giving more stress to the wedding party and their families. We absolutely will not return to any of your stores for either rentals or purchases. We will continue to share our experience to ensure others are not placed in the same stressful situation. Thank you!

My good friend chose Men's Warehouse for suits for his 8 groomsmen. This company has no idea what they're doing relative to organization or measurements.

After squeezing two measurement appointments into my very busy week, every item in the ensemble was noticeably the wrong size. I wear a 32 to 33 waist, the pants I was given, were adjustable, at smallest was a 36, and the pants were falling down the entire day. The fact that I was given a 17 shirt, but wear a 15.5, was exaggerated by the fact that the pant waist was so loose.

It was 98° in the shade for this outdoor wedding where I had no choice but to leave my jacket on the entire day. I wear a 30 inseam pant, and was given a 34 inch. You can't hide that. They dragged the ground the entire day. All of this aggravation cost me $234 to RENT. One of the groomsmen had a black suit, when it should have been noted by a Warehouse employee somewhere (since we were 8 men in the party) that the groom chose GRAY not BLACK. This company destroyed what should have been a great memory. DO NOT GO TO MEN'S WAREHOUSE. THEY ARE AMATEURS CHARGING PRICES OF PROFESSIONALS.

With that being said, my review: I have purchased suits and clothing at many different establishments. Needless to say, there have been a couple of times that there was an issue and I always get the standard "we are sorry for your inconvenience, we will exchange it and wish you better luck next time."

With Men's Wearhouse, there was an issue with my online order. I contacted support via the live chat and was greeted by someone named Nathan. Nathan ensured that when I reordered, I would get the products that I want and by the initial date I expected. Additionally, after finding out that my shoes were no longer available, he allowed me to select new ones and they would honor the original price. Overall, I truly appreciate that I got my stuff ordered and it is being expedited; all of which took a max of 5 minutes of my time and did not cost a penny more. Additionally, my new shoes are actually better than the initial order. I will definitely be shopping with them going forward.

He wasn’t able to try his suit on until the night before, which of course didn’t fit correctly. She didn’t have any pants for him but called a different store to check! She looked up his name and everything to make sure she got what he was looking for.

I called the store on Morse Rd. and the gentlemen that answered the phone was very rude and acted as if I was a nuisance to him. He also stated, “This is why you try it on when you pick up.” Well obviously we know that but he was in a different city for work so sometimes things don’t always work out that way. He said he would check in the back and didn’t even ask our name to look anything up to see the exact thing we were looking for! Megan was great and even called us back to let us know a different store could help us out! Thank you so much to Megan at Georgesville and Olentangy River store for helping us out today!

My husband rented a tux for our daughter's wedding at Men's Wearhouse to match all the other gentlemen in the wedding party. The clerk who fitted him was rushed, tried to give him a jacket and vest that was WAY too big. At my insistence, he finally tried the correct size on. My husband is a short stocky guy who has always worn a short size jacket and fitted shirt. They didn't have a fitted shirt, and unless he wanted to wear a shirt that was so puffy he looked like a pirate, we had to buy a shirt. The clerk was more than happy to sell us a shirt for $109! No thanks, I found one myself for $21.99. Maybe not the quality of the Calvin Klein they had, but he only wore it once. He was supposed to get an email a few days before the wedding when the tux came in so he could try it on and have time to rectify any issues. Never received the email. We went the day before to pick it up. The jacket was so HUGE it looked like someone else's coat!

The clerk who helped us said they could get another coat but it wouldn't be in until 2 the next day. Well, that wouldn't work. So he left us to check out and pay, thinking there was nothing we could do. While at the register to pay, I complained again, much to my husband's chagrin, that the jacket didn't fit and he was the FATHER of the BRIDE! He needed to look good. So that clerk said he could move the buttons. Well, why didn't clerk #1 say that?! The jacket goes back on, the clerk chalks a spot to move the buttons. I ask about the sleeves that were grazing his knuckles? "We can shorten those." So he marks them too. We go run another errand and come back. He tries on the jacket, it fits much better and the sleeves are shorter. Too short now. But I'm assured it's ok to have a peek of white shirt cuff. The clerk packages the suit and off we go.

Thankfully two things happened before we left for the venue to get dressed. I had to put the shirt that I bought into the bag. I find the jacket and vest in a heap at the bottom of the bag. The clerk didn't hook the hangers onto the plastic strip provided for just that. Thankfully I also had a professional steamer machine with me, to steam all of the girls' dresses! The end result was my husband looked handsome, although his right sleeve was much shorter than the left, with more than a "peek" of cuff showing. It was a beautiful day and he looked proud walking our daughter down the aisle. Men's Wearhouse won't ever get our business again.

My daughter was getting married and they wanted everyone to be in the same tux. So, even though I have my own tux I was ask to get a rental tux from Men's Wearhouse. I also needed two additional tuxes for my two sons who were also in the wedding. We went for the fitting weeks ahead of time. I had told the clerk who was assisting us that I would like the order for the 3 tuxes to be kept together as one order and wanted to pick them up all at the same time. He said no problem. From the minute I entered the store something didn't feel right. When I tried on the demo clothes they had in the store I thought they seemed to be of poor quality and cheap. Then I only received an email about 10 days before the wedding, I was expecting a call. The email said my order was ready.

The store is about 35-40 minutes from my home so my two sons and I drove to the store on a Friday night after work and school. When we got there they only had my tux and not all three. I was not happy because now I had to drive back to the store again once the other two tuxes came in. Also, when I tried the tux on they had 7-8 inch hems in the sleeves of the jacket and the legs of the pants. I almost pulled out the hem in the jacket while trying to put it on. The tux looked well worn, certainly not very impressive. Also, because of the huge hem in the jacket sleeve the satin edging could not be seen because it was tucked up with the hem. The shirt was also very thin, it had static cling and needed to be washed and ironed.

The price was also an issue, the tuxes were $160+ each, my two sons rented tuxes last year for their prom and only paid around $50. The following Monday my one son got an email saying his order was in and on Tuesday before the Saturday wedding my other son got an email saying his order was in. Because they already have proved to be total idiots I looked at the emails closely and sure enough they screwed up again. One of the tuxes was sent to a store about 1 hour and 15 minutes away in Pennsylvania and the other tux was sent to the Correct store in Wilmington Delaware. At the time of this email I have called the store twice to try to get the one tux delivered to the correct store so I can pick it up tonight, but have not heard back from anyone. I will never ever use Men's Wearhouse again even if the Wedding party insist, I will wear my own tux or try to find a better place to do business.

To give an idea of this mishap, my pants do not reach my ankles when standing. I have also noticed that the jacket of my suit has two different sized arms... I believe this fault is due to the fact that the woman who marked my clothes for the correct fitting trim did not end up being the person who did the trimming. My original wedding date was set for November 5th 2017. I informed Men's Wearhouse almost 8 months in advance that my wedding day was changed to September 3rd. I took my boys into Men's Wearhouse 3 months prior to my wedding date to have them "fitted". I had them try on their shoes sizes etc. Fast forward to the Friday before my wedding (my wedding was on a Sunday). I was sooo glad I called because if I didn't they would've had my husband's suit at the pickup location in time for our wedding. I had to call and pick up the suits on Saturday.

I specifically asked that they have brown shoes to go with their suits, all of them had black patent leather shoes. It was too late to exchange the color of the shoes. The shoes were so ill fitting and tight. My 3 year old was in so much pain walking down the aisle. Halfway through my ceremony, one of the groom's men had to pick him up and relieve him from the pain from the shoes. Smh. He had to walk around the whole rest of the wedding with no shoes on because they were too small. My husband complained about the shoes being painful as well but he made it through.

The suits were so ill fitting. There seems as though it was no point in getting the boys measured if the suits weren't going to be even close to being tailored to their little bodies. Their vests were so big and they puckered out on the sides. The pants were so wide and the zipper came halfway down the middle of their legs. It was so unattractive. Each boy's suit cost almost 150$ each to rent and it was NOT WORTH IT. I would've been better off buying 20$ cheap suit from JCPenney vs renting from Men's Wearhouse. Smh. I'm highly disappointed.

On my first visit, I forgot to bring dress shoes for pants fitment/tailoring but the salesman insisted I was his recommended size while I knew my correct size. I told him I'd be back with dress shoes and left. The next visit yielded a different salesman who again insisted I needed a suit two sizes smaller than I asked for. After agreeing to try on the jacket, the salesman seemed perturbed that I was about to split open all the seams right in front of him. He begrudgingly got the size I asked for. Upon trying on the pants, I advised the salesman they were the wrong size, Too large. He assured me the tailoring would correct that.

When I picked up the suit. The jacket was fine. The pants had the waist reduced so much that the two rear belt loops were within a quarter of an inch apart. The seat was baggy and the crotch hung mid thigh. Good if I want to unzip the fly and scratch my knee. The sales response was "they are fine." Additional tailoring would take several weeks and be at my expense.

Had me try on a suit in a size "48 short" when I am a size "48 regular," but did not tell me because it was the only suit she had in a size 48. She rushed me to the try-on room and I did not look at label, my error. The tailor marked the suit and it was sent out to be tailored. When it came back, 3 weeks later, I then noticed it was a 48 short. I went to the store manager who refused to refund me but instead had me try on a $700 suit which he marked down to $480. All he should have done was to re-order the original $229 suit but instead he played me into a more expensive suit. What kind of honest service is that? It's not! And then another $45 in alteration fees! Never again will I return to that store!

I decided to use Men's Warehouse (MW) to outfit my wedding party recently because Men's Warehouse is easily accessible across the country. This is about the only positive I've had with the company. My brother later used Men's Warehouse for his wedding for the same reasons with a similar negative experience. Everything in their computer system runs off of group codes and if you do not have it, you may be SOL. Their prices are outrageous and still high using a 50% group discount. Don't forget all the additional gauges for fitting and accessories.

First off, my wedding. We had a semi-formal dress for our wedding which included pants, shirt, tie, and optional shoes. I was able to send a code to all my groomsmen to go to their local store and get fitted for their clothes. This made things a bit easier but in the age of computers, why can't MW let anyone look up their attire by my name. Is this too difficult to ask of a computer system in 2017? Then one of my groomsmen who is very tall had issues ordering the correct sized shirt. His local store (Ankeny, IA) basically told him they were unable to help him so when has called me very concerned I had to go to my local store (CO Springs, CO) 30 minutes away to get it resolved and he then had to make an extra trip to his store. My guess is that his local store receives a much lower commission than the store I used to set up the group giving them little motivation to resolve the situation.

My brother also had similar less-formal attire for his wedding. Good thing I had his group code in my phone email otherwise they would have been unable to assist me. Fitting of the clothes was no issue but it took 3 weeks to get my pants hemmed. Quite ridiculous if you ask me. When I tried to pick up my clothes when my suspenders arrived, they were unable to find my pants and shirt in their computer system. It took the associate multiple times of looking in the back to find them. Also, make sure you request the group discount with each purchase otherwise you may pay full price.

I do not plan on getting married again so will likely never use MW again and will certainly not recommend them to others unless they need stores across the entire country. Their computer systems appear to be at least 20 years old and make working with this company difficult. I'm unsure of their commission system but it seems to have an influence in how customers are treated.

As the last suit he had purchased was custom tailored when we were in China. However, as soon as the interview was confirmed we decided to go suit shopping, that way we would have time for the suit to be altered, approximately a week and a half prior. He found a suit that he really liked. However, they didn't have it in his size. So, he was told that there was one his size in the Chicagoland area and that they could have it transferred and it should be in by Tuesday or Wednesday. That was on Saturday. This would have still given us time to have the suit altered.

However, we still had not heard from the store by Friday afternoon. Time was running out, so husband went ahead and purchased a suit from a department store. Not exactly what he wanted but something was better than nothing. I contacted the corporate office. Explained what had happened and they stepped up and took responsibility and "made the situation right." Although our interaction with them started out negative, I want to give them credit for doing the right thing and give them a second chance to earn and keep our business.

I bought 2 suits at the 1142 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240 store. I did not go with a name brand and am not happy with my purchase - sub par and bad value. My pants were altered for length and a little at the waist. I did not try the suits past alteration (my bad) as I had to rush out of town. Took these on travel. Hated them. Bought a new pair at Macy's and had planned to return these past returning back home - receipt says returns with receipt are good for 90 days; I'm 2-3 in.

Neither the receipt nor their site state anything about "altered suits" not being returnable. Also when was the last time you bought a suit that fit you right off the hanger? So, returns should factor alteration? If any their site says "Your satisfaction is the highest priority at the Men's Wearhouse. If you are not completely happy with the fit, quality, or fabric of any item, you may return your purchase within 90 days of the original sale". What I am seeing is far from this lofty goal. I am hitting these 8 steps and cannot articulate any better why MWH is getting this wrong! **. I am not sure they care. Got a tux for my son's prom. We had to drive an hour to get to Tyler Tx store. I tried to see why so much was being rung up on the register with the employee evading me. They were real busy so we ordered and went to the front and paid a $20 deposit. The store was pack with people so we left. Got home and looked at the receipt $274.97. Thought that was really high so I looked over the receipt. And no explanation. For any charge just no. Went back two days before prom and that was a mad house of people. Nowhere to walk or sit. Only 3 dressing rooms in the whole place. First they made me pay the balance on the suit $254.97 as I had put $20 down. My son tries on the suit and I ask to talk to a manager and he was busy and it would be a while. The worker was trying to wait on three people at once. So we left.

Got the suit out to put on for prom pictures and there were two holes in the jacket on the back. You could see they had been there awhile. I immediately call the store and the girl says, "I'll tell the manager" and hung up on me. We had to continue on as pics had to be done etc. The Day after prom we drive back to Tyler to take the tux back. I asked the manager how much the tux cost he said $179. I said no it's $169. I asked what was included in the tux rental. He agreed to jacket, pants, vest, shoes, cuff links and shirt. All that was left was a pocket scarf. And a $10 damage/handling fee. Total $215. Why was my bill $274.97?? They over charged me. I also had a $40 off coupon. Which made my total 175.97. Plus he rented me a suit with two holes in it.

The manager says, "I will give you $100 off." Well it wasn't giving me anything off because that was about what he over charged me and he tried to act like he was doing me a favor. I finally made him realize that. Then I told the $100 was nothing but mine to start with. I told him he rented me a damaged suit. He finally gave me $50 more off. I told him if I wouldn't have called I probably right now would be getting blamed for damage. Be careful at this store as I think the manager knows what goes on here and that's why nothing is listed on the receipt. This store is very unprofessional and I will never get anything there again.

OK where should I start??? Went to the store for my son's prom and immediately wished I had gone somewhere else. I stood there for a while before asked to go to the back to look at a table of suit/tux pictures until someone could help me. This lady did help us but was also involved in helping like 4 other people in the store at the same time. Finally got what my son SEMI wanted and the price was outrageous. $254 and that's after a $40 discount. WTF. Didn't really feel like going anywhere else because the event was 2 weeks away. Placed the order and left. So about 3 days before it was scheduled to arrive, my son wanted to change the color of the vest and bow tie. The store told me NO.

Well my kid's father whom I have no contact with went to the store (because my son told him I had already rented the Tux) and was allowed to change the color of those items that I paid for. They asked for no ID or anything. Now why was that allowed. His name was NO where on the order whatsoever. Didn't make a big deal out of it, but this should have not been allowed. So after all of that the Tux arrives. I tell my son to go by and try it on. The store person had already told me that I could pay by calling a 1-866 number to pay my balance. I did that because I was working and did not want to have to leave. Got my reference # and called the store back so my son could leave with the Tux. Was told reference number was not valid and that I had a $130 balance. WTF. "Can I please speak to a manager..." He was the manager (really).

Called the 1-866 back and got the same lady that had taken my payment. She put me on hold to call the Athens store. Well they were looking at someone else's account and not mine. These are the most unorganized bunch of people that I have worked with in a very long time. Will not use their services ever again. Never apologized or anything!!!

We had a wedding a month ago. Had to rent 7 suits. Pricing was a little high but for the type of suit we went for it. They promised a $600 voucher for me to buy a suit so it made sense to go with them. 3 of the suits were from out of state groomsmen so they had to get fitted in FL and pick up here in Jersey at the Totowa store. All 3 had to get fixed once they got here because nothing matched up. I guess tape measures are different in FL. Then we had to keep asking them to press the suits cause they ALL looked like they were tucked in a duffle bag. Then we still had to take them to the cleaners. Y my house and they pressed them for us for free cause they knew it was for a wedding. This was literally an hour before the wedding.

So when I go back to get my $600 voucher and buy a suit they take you to the cheapest suits they have and they mark up the price to make it seem like you are getting the voucher's worth. I was there for over an hour trying to get a suit cause the guy was working with two other people while working with me. Then the vest I needed they didn't have it. I told them I needed the suit and vest to be ready by Wednesday because I was going to a wedding in FL on Friday and was flying out Thursday morning. I get there Wednesday to pick up suit and the vest was the wrong size. He tells me he can get me one sent to my house by Saturday. Now if you remember I need to fly the next morning to FL for a wedding so that was out of the question.

So then he says he can have another one there Thursday at 1 pm. Once again I tell him I fly out tomorrow 10 am. He says then "Sorry that's the best I can do." No credit no nothing. Did I mention that I still had to come out of pocket another $80 for this cheap suit that the voucher did not cover? Never buying suits again from them. They are overpriced and don't cater to their customers. They do have nice clothes and Jeans but it's their overpriced brand.

This place was Horrible. When I picked-up my tuxedo rental, I tried everything on to make sure everything fits. The pants were so big and baggy they looked like clown pants and the shirt and jacket were tight fitting. The main part were the pants, they were an absolute disaster for the size. The crotch of the pants practically came down to the top of my knee-cap. I could probably fit about three legs inside of one pant leg. I was told that because they were pleated that they would fit a little baggy, but this was ridiculously baggy. I looked on the waist size inside the pants and they were for a size 39-42 and my waist size is a 36.

When I complained, I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked the sales associate if he would wear something that looked like what I was wearing and he even said NO. I ended-up having to order another style of pants, in which they charged me an extra $20. I had no choice but to continue with the rental since my wedding was two days out. I have never been treated so rudely. When I first went in to get fitted for the suit I had to wait 25 minutes. This wasn't the worst of it, but then came the attitude from with the female manager, but I stuck it out because it was my son's wedding. I was told they would email me to come in and try the suit on. One week went by and no email and no call and I was told the suit was there and to come in and get it. The second time I walked in to the store I was greeted by two gentlemen there to help me fit my suit. The shirt was three times too big. How do you get this wrong with all the measuring they did. They then found one in the back to fit me, thank goodness. So they proceeded to check me out and let me take the suit but the jacket was all wrinkled up like it was balled up in a corner.

I told them that I wasn't going to take the suit looking like that. I was also told that they turn the press off for the night. At the time it was almost 9:00 pm and I was asked to come back tomorrow night. The third time into the store and in was greeted by a young women and was told that she would be with me in a minute. There were two people working the floor, one gentleman was with two people working on colors of their suits that they wanted for their wedding. The female was working with a customer on the floor and one in the fitting room. She finished with both of the customers, then walked right by me without saying a word to and started to help the couples that were working with the other floor guy. 35 minutes went by.

My two sons came in to see me and were telling me they had a hard time getting theirs as well. The couple in front of them were also upset because they had lost their pants and the wedding was tomorrow. At this point I walked up to where the sales people were and stood there waiting. She looked up at me and again... ATTITUDE when she said, "I TOLD YOU TO WAIT AND I WOULD BE WITH YOU IN A MINUTE." The young gentleman looked up at me and said, "Are you here to pick up your suit" and I said, "Yes."

He then proceeded to the back and the young woman looked up and again said, "I TOLD YOU THAT I WOULD BE WITH YOU IN A MINUTE." I told her that this is was the third time coming in the third time that I had been treated very unprofessionally. At this point, she became furious at me and told me that she was the manager. I told her that's nice because now I know who I can tell corporate. The young man came out of the back and gave me the suit and then I left the store...

The day of the wedding when putting on the suit and all was OK until I stuck my hand in the pocket of the jacket only to find an old receipt from the previous renter, which had been rented 2 weeks prior. THE ENTIRE TIME I COULDN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD THAT THE SUIT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED FROM the last guy that had used it...

When the time came to return the suit, I dropped it off at another store on the way home because it had to be back on Sunday. The man at the store said, "Where did you get this suit and that it wasn't paid for and wasn't scanned out..." So he called customer service and was told they would handle it on the other end. Thankfully I have a receipt for returning the suit. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MEN'S WEARHOUSE TO ANYONE AS I REFUSE TO BE TREATED LIKE this ever again. Please pass this along to all your friends.

The groomsmen for our daughter's wedding rented tuxedos from Men's Wearhouse and encountered an assortment of difficulties with the fit of the tuxes. When the wedding party were fitted for their tuxedos, not all of the locations had the particular style of tux available in the needed sizes. They were measured accurately, but it appears that store staff probably didn't take into account the trim-cut pant style when measuring the groomsmen who have a husky build. One of them even decided to get measured again only 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure his tuxedo would fit -- it didn't! The pants that arrived were way too tight in the seat, and several inches too long at the hem! The staff tried to correct the problem and then he received just half a tuxedo on two different visits! First just the jacket, then just the pants. When the full tuxedo did arrive, it didn't have the correct tie. It was a confusing mess all the way around.

The photos of the Groomsmen are interesting to view, because most of the fellows are wearing tuxedo pants that are WAY TOO LONG, and the pants are all crumpled up in a heap at the ankle! And those pants didn't even have the classic satin stripe along the sides! Maybe that's the style now, but pants that are too long at the ankle? Puhl-eez! The only reason I've given Men's Wearhouse 2 stars instead of 1 or none is because of how hard the staff appears to have in trying to resolve the problems with the orders. I still think that their staff need more or better training in how to assess body shapes for a good fit with every style they rent.

So I wanted to get a couple new suits. Found that JC Penney does not have a tailor so after browsing Men's warehouse online store I decided I found a couple good suits for ~$300 each. No problem right? I even called first to make sure they were there. Gave them the item number and they checked and said "yes, c'mon in!" Well, they are paid on commission so I should've been smarter. Sure enough I walk in and ask for the woman who I spoke to over the phone. She immediately takes me to a rack, measures me, hands me a sport coat. I said "this is nice, but what about the Perry Ellis slim fit suits I asked about over the phone?" She says, "Those? Ohhhhhhhh THOSE are special order and would take over a month to get and the price online 'may differ.'"

I was furious. I asked about this buy one get one thing they constantly inundate you with on their commercials. It only applies to suits Over $600. Mind you, I DO know what a good suit is and these $600- $700 suits were AVERAGE. Not great, not bad. So, there you have it. It's a bait n switch store. Go to JC penney, buy a suit off the rack that's close and take it to a tailor. You'll have the same 2 suits for 300 bucks less after all is totaled. I am shocked they are able to even maintain this type of bait n switch business practice. The store in question was the Fairview Heights, IL store.

My future son in law and his best man entered the Men's Wearhouse in Abilene, TX today to suits for the wedding. When they entered the store, they were asked if they could be helped and my future son in law showed the associate a picture on his phone and said he would like something like it for his wedding. The Associate immediately pointed to one side of the store and they were left alone without any help. When my daughter and I arrived at the store we found future son in law and best man close to back of store not being helped and associates were at register with no customers.

After being told what had happened, I went to an associate and asked him if he could help. He acted like he did not want to help at all. Told us that they didn't have anything he could try on and didn't have anything like he wanted. I finally convinced the associate to show us something. But the entire time he acted like he didn't want to. After several frowns and a couple of eye rolls we decided to leave. He took his business to another store. I was very disappointed in the entire experience and will never recommend this store to anyone.

Please don't rent your wedding tuxes at Men's Wearhouse! Our experience was so terrible, I had to write a review and warn anyone about to get married. During the fitting, I asked multiple times if our 8 year old (who is tall and husky) would have problems getting a tux that fit. I was assured that Men's Wearhouse had so many suits in so many sizes that fitting him would not be an issue. Long story short, our tuxes showed up just 2 days before the wedding (which was 600 miles away!) and only the groom's fit. My son's tux was about 3 sizes too big - it was nowhere near any measurement they may have taken correctly. To add insult to injury, our salesperson was rude and kept insisting that this is "how these things are done."

I ended up crying in the fitting room while he told my groom that we should've expected this, like it was our fault. We ended up taking the tuxes to another store in the town where the wedding was and thankfully they exchanged them for the RIGHT SIZES. They were baffled as to why the store in Charleston, WV was so incompetent. I will never again do business with these people as I'm really not sure they have any idea what they're doing. Also, the tuxes really weren't all that great, especially for the price. Some of the stitching was loose, the cufflinks were old and scratched and we had to return a few pairs of shoes that didn't match the others.

I am writing this email to express my frustration with Men's Wearhouse. I had shopped on Men's Wearhouse website for many years without an issue. Unfortunately this experience came to an end at the hands of Men's Wearhouse website and some of the company employees who could offer no remedy. I have tried to place many orders this month just to find out that all my orders get just cancelled. The reason for cancellation is (as per the cancellation email) inconsistent billing information with my financial institution. This is a complete bogus. First, I have used the same credit card on Menswearhouse.com without any issue. So it is the same credit card, same Men's Wearhouse account and same billing and shipping addresses that I have had for years.

To make matters worse, I still got the same cancellation message even when I placed the order using Men's Wearhouse gift card. The agents that I talked to even the supervisor I talked to today 6/30/2016 responses were nothing short of embarrassing and examples of incompetence: one response that I just have to go and place the order in store. Hello, this is 21st century! The supervisor's brilliant explanation was that because I placed many orders lately, my future orders will be flagged for a while and just get cancelled even if used other methods of payment or Men's Wearhouse gift card. If this is the way you are treating your customers then as a company you are doomed to fail. I truly regret being a customer of Men's Wearhouse. I guess I will just have to take my business somewhere, to some other retailer that knows how to treat customers.

I bought a suit from these folks about a year ago and was told that they had a lifetime alteration guarantee. It was a relatively expensive suit, but I'm at the age where friends get married fairly regularly, court testifying for LE work, and I now have job interviews, so I wasn't overly concerned about it. They fit the jacket and pants, and told me it would be ready in about a month. I shattered my leg about two weeks after I bought the suit, and my mother actually picked it up for me when she and my sister were out shopping in that area in mid July. I tried it on and realized that it was poorly fit. I looked like a 5-year-old wearing his father's clothes, not someone who just spent a fair amount on a decent suit.

Last weekend I went up to the store to be re-fit and had a ridiculous amount of frustration. I walked in and was greeted, but as soon as they found out I wasn't buying a suit they were rude and surly. I asked where to go and was pointed to the side of the store and told to ask for "the woman" who does that. I walked over and she was friendly and polite, quickly measuring me up and pinning the suit, chalking the sleeves, whole 9 yards. She removed the original work order receipt that was still attached to the pants, so I couldn't argue what came next. As I was walking out the door I was told I had to pay for the alterations. I told the fella that that's not correct, gave my phone number for my account, and stated that I had been told when I purchased it that alterations were free. He laughed and said "no, that's no longer true," and "it would be 77 dollars." Not much, but I'm currently unemployed due to my injury and trying to find a job.

I told him that there's no way I'm paying the money, and they can't just change a policy randomly like that. He shrugged and looked apologetic, but I feel that was more to attempt and avoid a verbal conflict. I calmly told him to hand me my property and I'd be going. He picked it up and headed to the back, removing all the pins and chalk marks before returning and handing me my suit. I thanked him and walked out. Bottom line, these people will apparently lie and say whatever they have to in order to make a sale. Without a doubt the worst customer service and attitudes I've run across in a long time. AVOID THEM.

After another assistant manager saw this (Jaqleen) she immediately took the pants back and states that the pants were too small as we stated. They refused to refund or discount the items and said he would have to deal with jacket being tight and she would take the pants home and he could come back day of prom to get them. He had to miss his baseball game and again the pants still didn't fit the way they should have. NO REFUND, NO DISCOUNT.

I wanted to return two suits that were not used or worn. The return is up to the local manager, customer service claims that once the clothes are altered it's not returnable. I told them how many people buy suits and do not need them altered? Every pants you buy needs to be hemmed and waist needs to be taken in, the only additional was button on the inside that can be removed and has no effect on the item. The store does not want to lose a sale or commission. The return policy is not posted, the receipt claims after you pay for the items to go online for return policy. You would think that the return policy should be told to you before the purchase.

They could however order Jim's Formal Wear's vests and ties we wanted all 8 of the groomsmen to wear. We had arranged to send all of our groomsmen there to get sized and order them. When it became apparent that we wouldn't be able to find anywhere that could get us the tux we needed and that we'd need to order online we stopped back into Men's Wearhouse to see if they'd help us measure to order it online and have it altered with them.

The employees got indignant and rudely stated they wouldn't be willing to help us if we weren't purchasing the tux through them. I immediately told all the groomsmen not to go there and we left in a hurry. We understood to a degree but we'd made other arrangements with them for other things in the wedding and had plans to get the tux altered with them and don't think it was any skin off their back to simply help by measuring my fiance. We will not be buying anything from them EVER and advise that you avoid them too.

Deceiving sales reps. My husband was looking for a suit and on that weekend, they had a special on Joseph Abboud, Jones by NY, etc. suit for $199. We decided to purchase at least two suits and planned on maybe purchasing more if there would be a special promotion when opening up the Perfect Fit credit card (like $0 interest for 6 months). I had my credit score checked and was approved right away. I again told the sales clerk that our total purchase would totally depend on the special promotion. He walked to the register and brought the Perfect Fit pamphlet and showed us that our purchase would be without any interest charges for the next 6 months. So, we ended up purchasing a lot of suits, shirts, shoes and other accessories. The suit pants were tailored and charged right away.

After receiving my credit card, I registered an online account on Perfect Fit's website and looked at the statement. But, I could not find anything about a promotion so I called customer service who confirmed that there was no such promotion. Instead, I needed to pay in the next 30 days if I did not wish any interest charges. I was furious and so was my husband. We never make purchases on a credit card so that we would never get hit with any unnecessary interest charges.

We called Men's Warehouse and they denied about what the sales clerk and manager said. Even when we pointed out that pamphlet, nobody wanted to cooperate with us. We were able to return the shirts and accessories, but ended up paying for all the suits as the pants had been tailored and due to store's decision, they did not allow us to return them. It was still over $1,100 that we paid within 30 days. Pretty liars who only care about making their commission!

The bride had got her dress from David's Bridal so we were under the impression that Men's Wearhouse would have the same colors to coordinate with the bridesmaid dresses however because it's a fairly new color we were told that they do not have anything that would match and they were not sure if they were ever going to get that color in so we went the alternative route and went with something neutral.

The woman came back and reeking of cigarettes and hacking up phlegm balls as we trying to come up with a solution for our color dilemma. She was practically running around the store acting like we were nothing but an inconvenience to her and continued to repeat that she had to leave in about 25 minutes that she didn't have time for us to play dress up with the mannequin. We had 4 people there ready to rent their tuxes for the wedding and my 11 year old son was supposed to be measured but she told me to come back 30 days prior to the wedding which would be in two weeks.

I'm pretty sure she just did not want to be bothered at that time with him because again she had to leave and was now working past her shift. When they were measuring the groomsmen the groom and the bride's father another sales associate was putting in the information into the computer. Thank God - the bride was watching over him and noticed that all the information was incorrect. She had to corrected him several times. When she asked him a question asking if he add her choice of cufflinks his response was "I'm not stupid". As far as I'm concerned the whole entire experience was completely unprofessional and disgusting none the less! Not to mention upon receiving our receipts for our transaction we noticed that we were charged for products we didn't even rent! I will NEVER EVER go back to a Men's Wearhouse nor will I EVER recommend anyone to go to a men's warehouse! I am considering canceling our whole entire order!!!

Men's Wearhouse got my number from a wedding expo event I had attended and the corporate office called me with offers for my big day, one of which was free suit for the groom with 6 paid rentals. I had 11 paid rentals and qualified for the free suit. In August we went to pick out the different items and were told by the sales rep that the groom should opt for a custom suit for various reasons -- size, fit, overall quality. He said we would get a $600 discount as that was the cash value of the "free suit" coupon offered to us with our rental package. The sales rep then said the groom should wait till we were 60 days out from the event so the measurements were more true to his current size for the wedding.

My fiance went back to get measured in January and was charged over $900 for the custom suit. I called the next day to find out why saying we should only be responsible for the balance and was told, "The fine print in the offer excluded custom suits." I argued that there was no "fine print" as the offer was given to me over the phone by their outgoing sales department in the corporate office. I did not seek out Men's Wearhouse, They had phoned me for business. I also felt like the custom suit was pushed on us by the salesman and he specifically said that the custom suit qualified. The store manager said the free suit is one off their rack and he couldn't honor the coupon.

I then called customer care in Texas and the representative was a total jerk. Said that he wouldn't be able to help me because the system would not allow him to enter a discount on the custom suit. I informed him that I was specifically offered the discount and there should be a way to make it work or somehow make up for their screw-up. He said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to his supervisor and got, "Well I have several supervisors and none are able to come to the phone." I will not be using this business again. I have had several other issues with purchasing items as well and this was the last straw.

So the ordeal that has resulted in this current complaint started on cyber monday. After several attempts at ordering products from their site, and the site saying products existed until payment details were given and then it saying the products didn't exist but not specifying which one (think 45 minutes to an hour of wasted time), I called their online services department, which closes at 9pm. I called around 7:45 and was immediately put in a call queue which never was answered. Then when the call queue approached closing time, and still being on hold the phone was never answered (being close to over an hour in queue).

I gave up and contacted their online support (which was supposedly still open). I included screenshots of the experience and stated that in accordance with providing products as advertised they should honor the order and make it right. Their response (almost a week later) was broken english in which no real resolution was made. They offered a 40% coupon which did not even match the advertised price or total of the original order. So a new order was placed.

What do you think the outcome was? Favorable? How about they shipped USED CLOTHING. I placed an order for 3 suits. Only one of the 3 suits ordered was correct. The other 2 were not correct. One suit was used. It had obviously been worn before as the cuffs had been ironed so they had creases and signs of temporary stitching. There was also several white stains as if someone had gotten cake all over the suit. There was no QA in the process. All three suits shipped from different locations, and again only one of the 3 suits matched the description.

Upon calling them to inform them of the error they instructed me to drive to the nearest store that they could address the issue. I immediately asked to speak with the supervisor who then said this would not be necessary he generated a return label and said that he would call when the package showed as ship. A week later I had my fiance call as I work fulltime and he was told they could only replace the order not refund the order. Total time spent in dealing with Men's Wearhouse??? Hours... Resolution at this point? NONE. They are completely incapable at providing a level of service that is even one which would match the common threshold for normalcy. There is absolutely zero chance that I would ever shop with men's wearhouse again or refer anyone to their store or website for service. Complete scam.

We had sticker shock to begin with, but went on to purchase him a new wardrobe for work. The salesman was nice enough and helped; however, 2 weeks later, the seam began to come apart on one of the shirts that we purchased. This was a $100 shirt and we spent more than a month's pay at the store in one trip. Got fitted for slacks and shirt for my son's beach wedding. Quickly threw them on and fitter checked them and I picked them up while rushing around with the bride and groom trying to pull all the loose ends together for the wedding. Unfortunately I trusted the fitter and did not thoroughly check slacks. When I was dressing just before the ceremony, I found that the 37" slacks they sized for me did not fit well on my 34" waist and would not adjust tighter!!! No belt loops, suspenders or jacket so spent ceremony time standing as groomsman and entire reception, holding my pants up. Contacted Men's Wearhouse afterwards and was basically told it was on me because I didn't catch that in the store, real understanding bunch there.

First piece of advice, spend some serious time trying things on. From the sound of it, missing a measurement by 3" must not be an unusual thing there. Second piece of advice, basic white shirt and gray slacks cost almost $80 to rent for a day (and $20 late fee per day if not returned the day after the wedding) and my son had a simple gray jacket that added $160 to his tab. Unless you're renting a tux, save yourself some money and buy a suit somewhere.

I am writing to express my tremendous dissatisfaction with your company's locations in both Independence, MO and Overland Park, KS. Initially, our first experience was good. My husband was dreading the experience. As a bigger and taller guy, clothes shopping in general is not something he enjoys, but he also wanted very much to look great on his wedding day. Our salesperson was calming and quite effective in both calming his nerves and assuring us that MW had the size we needed.

Everything else went downhill rapidly. Throughout the ordering process mistakes were made and wrong information given to our wedding party. On our order due date (9/11/15) I called the Independence location and confirmed that the members of our party had been measured and garments ordered. On October 8th we went in to pick up the groom's tuxedo, and it was not sized correctly. At all. Then your poorly trained associate proceeded to not only fat-shame a client publicly (calling across the busy store, loudly, 3 times that it was the biggest size they had), also offered no solutions. If your store wasn't able to fit my husband in the first place, why take the order?

Eventually the manager came over and after much cry and woe, offered to put gussets in the dress shirt. Making us have to come back the next day to pick up the tux. Because we obviously had nothing else to do the day before our wedding. Upon pick up, things were better, but there was still much to be desired. The tie provided did not fit the shirt. Not a neck circumference issue, it would not go around the collar of the shirt that we were getting from the same place. Your managers solution? A safety pin. After we, our family and our friends spent money in your establishment, he gave us a safety pin. Which also did not fix the problem as it did not extend the tie to go around the collar of the shirt but what choice did we have? Our wedding was the next day, and with the delay in getting the correct size shirt, we had nowhere else to go.

On October 9th, one of our groomsmen called and told us that your location on Overland Park did not have his tuxedo. I will remind you that I called the Independence store on September 11th to confirm all necessary members of our party had checked in and ordered correctly (more on that later). When I called the store on the 9th, your associate told me that our friend had never been in to be measured after confirmation, after he had been in and ordered his tuxedo. We had a groomsman with no formal clothing for photos, ceremony, or reception.

The associate at your Overland Park store did not seem to think that was a problem, lied to me about our groomsman not coming in and offered no solutions or sympathy. In addition to this, several members of our wedding party were given wrong information; colors to wear, types of ties, boutonnieres, and trying to up-sell shoes that we did not order. Your Nationwide Ordering failed to span the greater Kansas City area.

I shouldn't have to tell you that people need formal wear for special occasions. Activities that they do not do every day, which are important in their lives and the lives of their loved ones. I would expect poor and disinterested service from a lesser store, but this experience was nowhere close to what your advertising and branding would lead clients to believe.

Not unlike the bride, it is special and exciting for a groom to want to dress up and have a great wedding day. Your company did not meet even the base expectation of providing clothing in the correct size, factual information, and base level customer service, and went so far as to publicly humiliate and lie to us. I anticipate your follow-up conversation to be much more coherent, respectful, and timely.

Yesterday I received notification that my son's items were ready for pickup. We went into the store for my son to try them on. As I was helping him into the vest, I realized it was a "fake vest." There is no back. That's fine if you are wearing a jacket but no one will be wearing a jacket. I asked for a real vest and was told that they have no real vests for children. I asked them if my brother was aware of it. I was told that my brother should have been told that.

Knowing that my son was going to look odd, I took a picture of his back and sent it to my brother. My brother was at work and couldn't respond. I told the salesman that I hadn't heard back from my brother but I wasn't sure about the vest. We left and took the items with us. That night my brother responded that he had no idea my son's vest was not going to look the same as the others. He wasn't pleased with the fake vest either.

The next day, I went and found a suit, shirt, and vest for a few dollars more than the price of the rental and I get to keep this set. When I returned to Men's Wearhouse, they refused to refund my entire rental. I said I wanted to speak with the manager and Steve ** informed me that he was the manager. He said that I took the rental out of the store and that it was less than 2 weeks before the wedding. He is correct on both counts but never was I nor my brother informed that my son's vest was going to be a fake vest. I will now be contacting headquarters.

First let me say that I had problems with you guys many, many, many years ago and the bad taste was still there but I had to rent a tux from you because my son was getting married in NY and he made the deal. I first went to your Brandon Fl. store where I live for a fitting. My son said he asked if they had extra extra 5 or 6E wide shoes and they said "yes." I followed up with that and they said "yes." HEY, NO YOU DON'T. They were nice and tried different shoes and when one pair was still very tight but I would consider it they told me there would be an additional charge. I said "you should pay me to wear them."

When I asked for a credit for the shoes I refused to take they said they can not do that unless the groom who was my son said it was ok and I was the one paying for my tux. I said "why do I need his ok for shoes that don't fit and I won't wear." Finally after going back and forth they said "ok," they would take it $20.00 off my bill. Why must I have to fight with you people when it is a no brainer. When I got to NY I went to the Nanuet NY store to pick up my tux where I had the issues long time ago. I tried on the tux and the pants had what appeared to as a low crotch rise. They said they will order another pair. The jacket sleeves were way too long, they said they would fix that also.

I came in the next day, the pants ordered was the same as the ones I had, you only have long or what I had which was short. The sleeves were not stitched correctly, they had to be sent back inside to the tailor who fixed it but it came out with a poor stitch job and not pressed correctly. Instead of having a pleasant experience, it was far from that once again. You would have to give me a tux for free to get me back into your store and even then I would have to think twice. I don't think I could ever recommend your company to anyone. Your store gave me a discount for the trouble I incurred but I was and still not a happy camper.

They refuse to order unless he comes in. They have all his measurements. They took them. Not happy. Very expensive. Way overpriced in my opinion and then no customer service at all. We'll be taking real good care of these suits - wink wink. My son is at college 3 hours away. He's not coming back for that.

After having years of in store success with my local Men's Wearhouse in Tulsa, Ok and Okc, Ok I went online to get a great online deal on two suits needed for a wedding. I was in a time crunch too so I worried that perhaps I might have an issue but they shipped quickly. In fact I picked ship to store and they were there ahead of estimated schedule. Then not remembering alteration fees I had Googled and came upon this site where several (and I do mean several people complained unmercifully about EVERYTHING). I was now worried that I had made a mistake.

Now we went in to the Palm Desert store where I now live and found that not only were they gracious but experienced and courteous. The alterations were done amazingly by Terri and when I called for extra info Michael was a great help. I can only say perhaps you get what you put into a sales experience??? My goods were quality, the help was phenomenal and I could not have beaten the price for the alterations (116 for both)! Better luck to these other folks that had issues. My Men's Wearhouse experience was fantastic!

My son went to Men's Wearhouse at Shelby Corners in Utica, MI on August 13th to pick up his tuxedo rental. The representative, Rema, treated him so unprofessionally. When he tried on his slim-fit shirt, he wasn't pleased with the fit. It was terribly big and loose fitting all around; his sleeves were extremely too long and there was so much material sagging near his wrist. He inquired for another shirt, which had the same fit. She rudely told us that it fits that way because it's a rental. He requested to try the shirt in a regular and it did fit a little bit better than the slim fit.

Afterwards, he tried on the pants and they were much larger and baggier than he preferred. She continued to reference that the pants would not fit him a particular way because of it being a rental. I asked her about other pants/sizes and she rudely ran off the number of the sizes without even trying to assist in seeing if a smaller size would be a better fit. As she proceeded to snatch clothing and pack it back up, she walked off and we never saw her before we left the store (no goodbye, thanks for coming, etc).

Long story short, my son left that day without his tuxedo. He said he would come back the next day and work with someone who believes in customer service and professionalism. Rema's mannerisms, snappy comments and behavior were definitely rude and disrespectful to us as customers. If she doesn't want people to ask questions, then she might want to venture into another career because good CUSTOMER SERVICE is definitely not one of her strong points and I will not be returning or recommending their establishment with employees like that!!!

Tried it on, a lady came to see what alterations needed to be made (waist needed to be taken in a little bit). I picked up my suit (the night before my big meeting), went home and tried it on. The alterations that were made was about a 4" hem in the bottoms of the legs, it looks as if she grabbed the waist and pinched it together and made a stitch to hold the pants. Now it looks all bunched up and baggy around my ass. They told me that the suit would be pressed and that all of the wrinkles would be taken out, they weren't. There was actually more than when I tried the suit on the first time. Very upset and very dissatisfied!!!

When my fiance's father went to get fitted, the same woman told my fiance that my son's tux could be a suite and it would look the same and we would save $108. That should have been my option. After I received the tuxes I found that my son's tux is different than my tux. They don't do very well in listening to their customers. I will never shop here again.

I try to be a very fair and patient person. Things happen (if I was the guy I used to be, don't care if life happens but customer service is customer service) and I have learned to give every individual a little room. Now this company is just so incompetent that I had to write a review online about the company as a whole and not one specific location. I purchased online pants several weeks ago and had them delivered to the State St store in Chicago. There was supposed to be a $30 coupon in the package that I could use on my next purchase. I wrote to MW and here is the response I got: "Please find your reference $30 coupon below: Coupon Code: **, Expiration Date: 07-06-2015. Also, our records show that you have two Perfect Fit Accounts under you phone number. Would you care to merge the two? Simply advise by email, and we would be happy to merge and advise of your Rewards Status."

So far so good? There's an expiry date July 6. I don't see any date that says I can use it "from" date. You also see they mention 2 accounts. I responded to them and had the two accounts merged. Great. Here's their response: "We have merged your referenced accounts. As a result you have five Rewards Certificates available (totaling $250.00). Also you have 335 current points." I am now a happy camper. I try to shop online but realized I need the coupon codes. I wrote back again requesting for them only to now fall into the issue of not being able to go to the next page where I put in the coupons. I thought their site might have been down. I tried 2 or 3 times a day for the next 3 days before I decided to try and call them on Sunday and just place the order over the phone.

Now here is the fun part: I am told I cannot use the $30 coupon till the next day (remember, nobody made any mention that I can't use it before that day.). So then I tell her that I will use my certificates only to be told that those certificates have all expired and can only be used in store and not for online orders. If they had NOT expired, I could have used them for the order (again, no expiration date was mentioned in the email nor did I physically have the certificates in my hand.).

So now I just cancel the whole thing over the phone and was just upset as I had already spent probably 6 or 7 hours in the last several days trying to get this thing to work only to be gunned down liked this. I now go online and decided to just go ahead and get some of the things I wanted but guess what? Now the pricing just went up more than twice. I'm not pissed about the pricing going up. That's part of business but what I am pissed about is the fact that I was given such a run around, incomplete information and thoroughly was made a fool out of from a company that claims that it operates differently. Thanks.

Upon working with the staff at this Tux shop they were very helpful and friendly... However, my husband went to pick up his groom tux 4 days before our wedding only to find that this jacket was incredibly huge and that his pants felt like they were falling off! He expressed his deep concern with the fit of the jacket yet the staff assured him that this was how it was supposed to fit and did nothing to re-measure or help the groom feel confident or comfortable in his tux.

On our wedding day he asserted that his pants were falling off and his jacket felt absolutely enormous in the stomach and chest area. Everyone noticed how abnormally huge his jacket was in the stomach area as several family members commented on this; this was a $225 rental Groom's Vera Wang Tux and the fit did nothing to flatter his very "V-shaped" upper body as it made him look like he had more of a beer-gut which he doesn't! The fit was just completely off!!! It was the first thing I noticed when I met him at the aisle!!! The huge suit jacket didn't complement our high dollar wedding pictures either and the fit really affected the groom's mood on and even after our very special day.

As a bride who worked so hard to have a picture perfect wedding I was very upset about this... Because of this, when we went to see a store manager at another Men's Warehouse location we asked to have him refitted when we dropped off the tux for return, just for curiosity sake; the associate who measured him said he should have been given a slim fit tux due to his upper body type and stated that there was plenty of time to reorder as there was an excess about 4-6" in the stomach and chest area; the associate also advised that the staff could have at least moved the buttons in to help the jacket fit his body type better; the store manager concurred.

Upon hearing this and clearly visualizing how large this was after the fact, we were devastated! We filed a formal complaint as the staff refused to help my husband when he told them that his tux was too big and looked and felt uncomfortable. All the store associates (3) told him that the fit was acceptable and that this was the fit of the Vera Wang suit.

I wish I saw the tux in advance as I would have personally gone with my husband to another location for assistance since the Horseheads location was not knowledgeable, accommodating, or customer service oriented... Partial refunds were granted to our wedding party since the groom's tux was free with 5 rentals, yet this by no means made up for an uncomfortable groom on his wedding day and a baggy suit tux jacket on an groom for professional photographs! Every groom should look and feel confident on his wedding day and Horseheads-Men's Warehouse & Tux didn't ensure that this occurred, which deeply upsets me.

We had to wait two weeks for the alterations to be done and when we came to get it the pants were too short and the jacket was done wrong. In addition, the tailor tried to blame my son for the problem with the pants. We came back the next day to pick it up, the pants were better the jacket was still not good.

The tailor had to redo the collar a third time while we waited until he finally got it right. We have bought many suits at other shops and never had a problem with the alterations. When I complained they said "it happens". I asked for a full refund on the alterations and they only gave me a partial refund. Plus I had to ask for it. They should have offered. They acted like there was nothing wrong that their tailor screwed up so badly. I will NOT be purchasing anything else from Men's Wearhouse.

I saw a man (who was the only man working when I went in) go out to his car twice before they opened. He looked me directly in the face both times. After opening, I went in and began browsing through the ties. I was not greeted upon on entry, nor was any word said to me the rest of the time I was there.

I looked through the ties for around 10 min, not being able to find what I was needing. Two others came in while I was there and both were helped out. The man working was an older man around 60 or so. White man with white hair wearing, obviously a suit. I am a 25 yr old guy wearing a tank top (due to the 95 degree weather) and a backwards hat. I feel strongly that my appearance was the reason I wasn't helped. I left very disappointed and will not be returning. I went across the street and found a tie at Dillard's in McCain mall, which is what I would recommend to anyone considering this place.

They sent me an online confirmation that the items (both) had shipped with one tracking number through UPS. When the package arrives, only one item in the packaging. The package was delivered by UPS and showed no signs of being opened. When I called to report this, they stated that they had to run an investigation on UPS and see what happened. Depending on the investigation, they will see if they are going to do anything. Look, it's not UPS fault. The package is unopened and the one pair of jeans fit snugly in the packaging. There was no room for a second pair.

If anything it was the employee that fulfilled/packaged the order at Men's Wearhouse that needs to be investigated. Either way, was very unhappy with the response. I definitely feel scammed and will not be doing business with them again. Word to the wise, if you are interested in one of the promotions they run, go to a brick and mortar store to make sure you get your goods and DO NOT ORDER ONLINE.

Then I was told to buy my ties somewhere else. Then they messed up the measurements to the point I had to have all of the bridal party go back in and get resized well before the 2 week requirement. Then when the tuxedos came in, not everyone's came in at the same time so some of the guys had them and others had to wait until a day before the wedding. So I make a phone call to ask why not everyone's was in and I was transferred to Lisa who proceeded to chastise me and not let me finish speaking then hung up on me. Then I called back and asks for a manager. Dennis answered. I explained to him what happen and told him of the problems I have had with the store and all he said was sorry.

I then ask when my other tuxes will be in and he wanted my group number. As I'm looking for it I tell him by the way hanging up on people is great world class customer service. He then tells me that if I keep using profanity he will have to hang up on me. I asked what was profane about what I said and he kept repeating he was going to hang up on me. So brides stay far far far away from this store - absolutely the worst treatment I have ever received.

The suit was suppose to be worn the next morning and when I went home the evening after purchasing the suit, I realize the suit was not well altered and the store had close by then so I couldn't send it back to be well alteration before wearing it. I therefore wore an old suit and decided to return it on my way. I then realize that the store opens 11:00am on Sundays which if I wait I will be late for my program. So I took the suit back to the store on my way back home after my program and they are saying they cannot take it back because the seamstress waited to alter my suit so. But I asked the shop attendant their closing time and he told me they close at 9.00PM and I left the shop before 9.00 PM. I left the suit there cos I do not need it anymore due to bad alteration and couldn't wear it. I am therefore requesting for my money back and they do not want to accept the suit back. The suit was never cut, it was folded in and the alteration was not done well. I have the receipt with me but I left the suit there.
