I shop frequently at the Family Dollar in Pineville and I have noticed how diligent and hard working the employees are. I am always greeted and appreciate their willingness to help me. I want to thank the manager, Ms. Trameika keeps that store in tip top shape. The store is neat and clean. No boxes are cluttering the aisles. She runs a tight ship! I am impressed how well Trameika manages the store. She is a great manager!

I will definitely NOT be doing business with Dollar General in the future. If I knew they would NOT honor their competitor's return policy, I would NOT have continued doing business with them. Even though their prices are competitive, you can find better deals elsewhere. Take a look at this website for Dollar General (DG). ** for much better prices and deals at locations close to you. Buyer beware, this company does NOT honor its policy of matching competitors' offers/deals and or practices.

Bro I sent my ex girlfriend to buy a heater. On the box it said 45$. They charged her 48.75. This Family Dollar is the worst Family Dollar I've ever went to. Watch the photo I show of this receipt. I'm writing a complaint. I have to get this store closed down at least by my area. This is crazy. God forbid store thieves see people on the streets aren't the only thieves. Clearly it's not about the money. It's the point that you are workers stealing from people when there's a lot of people that needs jobs that ain't a thief.

As a customer, when you see a store you are shopping in with the customer service so great and the store so clean, and the management and staff so kind and friendly and helpful, you need to let it be known. Went to the Family Dollar on 10818 Cullen Oct 29 around 10 am to get trash bags. As I passed the aisle and looking down the rows I see two employees doing inventory. I turn around and the worker girl abruptly came behind me... Looked at me and said I stole something earlier. I went earlier that day with a friend but I went in and walked out.. Yes I still have the receipt and pictures of the products $50.00 dollar worth. I was then harassed by some guy claiming to be her brother and refused service. I called the police and she insisted I stole something. All I asked is if I stole something what was it and why wasn't I confronted then. I have too many assets to have to steal girl worker.

The store’s Manager and a staff claimed that my girlfriend was rude When she wasn’t. Refused services. Which I think it’s very uncalled for. They also told her that she wasn’t allowed to shop there. She was just asking which rules are still in place! Very unprofessional.

Today was the last day for our store and the staff closed the store at 2pm and said they were boxing up what was left but that’s not true because I saw staff through the window ring up stuff as they went to pick it off the shelves and bag it and put it in a cart. They did this more than once. I don’t think that it was fair to all the customers that they were turning away.

This Family Dollar was very strange. I had the most bad experience ever. All I did was buy my things and left. I spoke no words. They acted like I was in there harassing the customers and like I told the world something bad, anytime?

Today I was in a Family Dollar, and the worker ** Was one of the nicest and politest workers I've ever, I've ever had an encounter with. If it was up to me she would be in three of the year. She works at the store 8708 Family Dollar at 8 Mile and Gratiot. She is one of the nicest workers, I've ever met in a long long time. And I do a lot of, shopping and interacting with other people the sign of stores. But by far she is the nicest and kindest person that I have ever met. And I hope she gets to recognition that she deserves!

This family dollar on colonial heights blv has some shit going on in there not right upon me entering on9/4 the guy at counter nasty I ask him about battery being lock up he told me in nasty way get line I help you if he had behind comer why walk me to case I step away from comer he did something to my battery pack I told I didn’t want it cause they been giving my tickets to outside customers out the back door and ppl was standing around waiting on me to purchase my stuff to get my ticket to take to outside person that was not in the store he turn my item barcode to the camera they give out barcode on tea put stuff on floor turn stuff around ppl in back trying to harm you while u shop the sales guy told me he going knot me out bitch he needs be let go he mad cause he got call out for doing wrong he told me if you know what we doing why keep coming in store I said you don’t tell me we’re go I’m not scared of y’all he threw my money back cause after all he did with battery I didn’t want to spend no money the things that goes on in this place should be look at by law enforcement that’s no on pay role with the outside ppl that sale ppl get pay for and he told me I was band which is find with me the store is hot & dirty stuff mark and laying around this store is danger to ppl health he should be fired you never call customer a bitch especially with the store full of other customers but knot me out would’ve never happened at all stop giving other customers my reco

I would like to praise the Family Dollar in Georgiana, Alabama. I am constantly amazed at how clean the store is each time I come in. Not to mention the employees are always super helpful and greet me when I enter the door. The store is extremely organized, and it is a pleasure to shop. Lillie is a delight as well as the others! I would encourage anyone who is close to Georgiana, Alabama to stop in and pay them a visit.

Don't go to the Family Dollar in Ellenboro, they do not honor their sales that's hanging up on the signs. They got all new staff and they are not friendly at all. I rather go to Dollar General, at least I will get greeted nice at the door. They will not get my business anymore. The store stay dirty and leaks water all the time and the freezer stuff always goes bad. They need new staff and new building.

I just love it and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Very low prices. Good things. Cute things. All kind of nicer things that you sell not to mention the staff are great. 1917 Centre Ave Pittsburgh PA 15219 store closing way too early, an hour early, won't let customers in, rude employees and I was told they do as they well please. The store is dirty. Produces all over, carts blocking products, and lines extremely long, employees walking around not helping and not caring...

Manager is very unhelpful. Won’t let you look at the hot wheels they have in the back. Guess she expects people to buy the same dusty ones off the pegs that have been there all year. 3 boxes just sitting there and instead of making profit for the store she chooses to let them not sell.

I've been coming to N. Chili Family Dollar for 12yrs & never had a problem in spite that I heard rumors that the boss was racist from a couple of my neighbors and from Google reviews, I witness myself that when an ** person would walk in and their shopping they would be followed around and would be asked if they needed help and they will feel uncomfortable because they felt like they were being treated like thieves and wind up being kicked out of the store. My issue was with the manager on July 1 when I finished checking out and ask for cashback I had just finished picking up prescriptions for pain and one of them happens to be ** and as I drop two pill bottles in my Michael Kors book bag, I didn't exactly see when both bottles fell in because I was busy putting my cash in my fanny bag echoes around my shoulder.

The store 08377 manager Kim has a very nasty, unprofessional and unpleasant attitude. I went to the store on 6/25/25 and an item I thought rang up wrong so I went to verify the price and she came back and verified as well. Her response to me was in a very nasty tone, "Do you want it or not," because she does not have all day. I asked her not to speak to me in that tone and she began yelling at me in a high tone. I asked her kindly to stop yelling at me which she became louder stating she does not have all day and do I want my items or not and she does not have all day. This location has been very hostile as I have witness her yelling at other while her employees apologize for her behavior. I have never seen a store manager act like this. For me customer service is number one and she needs to be re evaluated as that is highly uncalled for. I would like to be contacted by corporate.

I dislike it when the store usually have items all the time then all of sudden they no longer have it. They usually have Philadelphia Eagles bedsheets and other nice products and now they have zero of NFL Philadelphia Eagles. The employees are ok. Some are not friendly while others are friendly. Mixture of both. There isn’t anything in that store I want to buy and would want me to say, “Let’s go to Family Dollar!”

Went into Family Dollar today to grab my tissue and some honey, I noticed a staff member at the register, she spoke upon me entering and also had her phone in her hand. I thought for sure she would put this phone down at least til the customer was gone but no, not this one, even when I proceeded on to ask her what's in that phone gold, she didn't answer.

35th Halsted Chicago. The absolute worse place to ever go if you value your life. ** for employees, nasty to look at. I was being assaulted right at register and they did nothing but harass me for wanting info to bring to police. Some random ** guy filming me all the way to my car as they were saying they were security. They have no security cause they do the assaulting. Tried to call corporate and was going up on. Disgusting place with useless people working.

I went to the Family Dollar in Edon Ohio and there was one older lady that was at the register after I got my items and she was so rude and impatient with my son when he wanted to try to pay the lady and when we got out of the store he was crying. This is so unelectable.

Prices are higher than anywhere else, almost 4 dollars higher on Maxwell house instant coffee, want pictures? I buy this constantly and thought I would save a little time because it is right next door. I will not shop there ever again. Already sent a complaint to their headquarters.

I called to ask a question as to what the instacart button on the Family Dollar website goes to and wondered what they did for family dollar. I wasn’t sure what instacart had to do with family dollar but I called store #12627 and experienced rude customer service by the manager today, 12/29/2024 around 1:30pm . All they said were they never heard of instacart and that family dollar was a multi million dollar business. Well why does that matter in this case? Very rude people I tell ya.

I live in Perry NY. The store here is convenient at best some employees just stand around don't put anything away. It's not very clean. They had one employee there that was amazing. Kept things clean and put away but he quit. They need to do better at keeping the boxes out of there and put away.

Went in for soda, sign "5 for$5" then lists all Pepsi products. 2ltr, through today (Coke was "3 for $5" but like Pepsi). Put 5 Pepsi products on counter, rings $14. Cashier browses flyers, goes to aisle (at least 10 paper signs taped along pricing labels) tries to adjust price, can't. Calls manager. It has now been 20 minutes, wasted another five on her phone call. The manager told her to go take the signs down and don't give it to me for that. So she wants to know if I want to pay $14. I ran back when she went to take the signs down and snapped a photo just before she took the last one but only on the Pepsi side. Was tempted to see if the coke ones worked...lol

Once again I am writing because apparently, these reviews go unnoticed, unread or cared about. Employees parking their cars and all the front parking spaces was my first complaint, now I'm with everybody else on the complaining about not being able to go down the aisles today was so bad. I had to walk out. I could not get anything I wanted and when the cashier asked why I was leaving I told her why then she got rude to me telling me what the truck just came in and every excuse under the sun. I got 30 plus years in management and Retail. If a DM cannot contact me you don't deserve mine or anybody else's business. PS 3 weeks ago my only complaint was employees parking their vehicles at the front door for 8 hours. No wonder your ratings are so low. Signed pissed off.

I wanted to share my experience using PayNearMe with Family Dollar “This company is a scam. They took about $2000 of child support from me and they never paid to my kid’s mom. They were offered as a payment option for the Arizona Maricopa Superior Court to pay child support. Instead of paying the money, they told me that they could not find the money. They have stolen my money and made me responsible for thousands of dollars of court fees, child support, and potential jail time. Do not ever use these people. Either they are thieves or they have a faulty system or both. If it was not for the fact that I had my receipt, I could have lost another $300 and they were made to miraculously find $500 but not the other $2000. If there are more victims of this company or any attorneys aware of them, I would like to file a class action lawsuit against them.”

I had a terrible experience today at this Family Dollar store. I have been buying here for 3 years and it is the first time that an employee is so rude. This woman said she was the manager of the place named SARA. She had a rude and arrogant attitude. I bought two items and I have previously bought these same items for 1 dollar. Now it said 2 dollars and when I paid at the cashier they charged me almost 5 dollars for each item. The “manager” was the worst. She doesn’t know how to speak well to customers.

Was just in our Lovelock, NV store. So many unpacked boxes on the floor that some isles were completely blocked. Nothing on the shelves in some areas. The sales clerks should not have to be doing the stocking. Need to have stocking done at night by a separate crew. This makes shopping very difficult and the store looks unorganized.

Hi I’m making a review for the Family Dollar in Kansas City Missouri 39th Indiana… That store is not only in a bad environment but the employees are just as bad…. I have seen enough violence go on at the store that will leave me traumatized for a long time…. I don’t feel safe in that store at all, you might even get jumped by the employees at the same time if you have any type of debate with one… People go in that store and just run out the door with merchandise.. No security… They had one in there for a very short time and he played on his cell phone when he was there the majority on the time… Stood by the door and then he was gone quickly… Needless to say I go across to another before I go there… They are a mile away but not I have to go 3 to 4 miles away now because there is no way I will set foot back in that place..
