    Went to Petsmart to buy fish for my aquarium December 2025 Riverdale UT. Six fish $63. About six days later I see tiny white specks on some fish. They have ICK. I've had my aquarium 25 years. Never had ICK. I called spoke to managers. They said they will replace the 4 that I have lost so far. I am treating the water but it takes time. I know the store can get sick fish, but I am not very happy.

    My white Maltese puppy went for a wash & dry with ** @ 4119 NW 16 Blvd. Gainesville. She returned with VERY matted (tangled) hair and with LOTS of fleas, something she’s never had. My community friends had spoken terrible about PetSmart, I regret not listening to them.

    What a joke of a company! I live in U.S. and ordered a product that was promised to be delivered by a certain date (so I could take it as a gift to Someone in Canada). The day it was to be delivered, it still hadn't shipped. So they told me to order it on their Petsmart.ca (Canada website). But that site will not allow orders to be delivered in Canada to be paid for with a U.S. credit card with U.S. billing address. Six calls to customer service while working this for 5+ hours (never called back from them when promised multiple times). What a joke of a company! I can buy products all around the world with my U.S. based credit card and address. Pathetic!

    I had one of the worst today. First off it was with the groomers, the appointment was for 8am. They did not get started until 10am. I was the second client. Why so long of a wait. There was 2 ladies working at the time. Second my yorkie is 2 yrs old. That's a baby. She calls me, "I need you to come get your dog. He needs to be sedate or take him to your doggie doctor. Maybe they can cut his hair." My Yorkie never got his bath but she was cutting his hair. Let me tell you it was a mess. He had to come home like he had a buzz cut with hair hanging off his ass and legs. The groomer said she had shaped him up a lie. My Yorkie looks a mess!

    I'm very upset with how PetSmart treated us today when we brought our nine-month-old show-quality Dogo Argentino puppy in for grooming. We had an appointment, and they said it was perfectly fine to bring her. She is not aggressive, but we brought her in with a muzzle on because she chews furniture and we didn't want her chewing up our car. As soon as we arrived at the store, we took the muzzle off. She played with other puppies and children and was a perfect dog inside. They refused service because she was muzzled when we first came in. Online, the only thing it says about muzzling is that they won't take your dog if she's aggressive and must be muzzled. Other customers were touching her and loving on her, calling her beautiful.

    Kids were also petting her and showing affection. She was a perfect dog. There was no reason she couldn't be bathed. I have four other dogs that go here, and now I will not be returning. The Griffin PetSmart location is absolutely ridiculous. We went to PetSmart on the same day, and they took her without any problem. She is getting a bath, her teeth brushed, and the whole Christmas package. I do not recommend the Georgia Griffin PetSmart location. Very disappointed—completely unacceptable. PetSense made it clear that it seemed like PetSmart just didn't want to do our dog's grooming.

    We came to Pet smart to groom my cat. In the website it says walk ins welcome. So we did so. As we walked into the grooming area we were greeted by a gentleman say he just clocked out for lunch. It was around 11:30 or. The woman got frustrated and asked for my pet's information aka shot records in progressive information. When I told her it was a cat she looked and spoke to me in a very rude manner. She then told me we needed to make an appointment in a rude and disrespectful tone. I told them I apologize for the inconvenience. We then walked out of the place. NEVER GO TO THESE PLACES AKA PET SMART. If you want to be treated with respect cause you won’t get it there. This location was at the Winrock location in Albuquerque NM.

    Very poor Customer Service all around. My appointment was scheduled for Saturday. The manager called to reschedule for Sunday with Amber at 2 PM. I was there 10 minutes early. The price went from $55 to $97. They had my dog for an hour and a half when Amber called me and said she would have to shave my dog because he’s matted; my dog is not matted. I am a cosmetologist. I know hair. It’s no different. I brush my dog hair on a daily basis. He gets screamed every four weeks the price then up to $110. She called my dog a Labradoodle and when I corrected her and said he is a standard poodle, she said “whatever“.

    The manager did not apologize to me and Amber stayed in the back when I pick my dog up because they knew they were lying. The problem was it’s 2 PM. They close at six and she did not want to spend time or effort on my dog and she did not know how to do the teddy bear haircut on a standard poodle. I’m sad that I had to give them a one star in order to lead this review.

    Absolutely horrid!! I had so many problems when I signed up with PetSmart. I had so many packages that weren’t delivered, or were delivered to the wrong house, horrible customer service, and absolutely worthless merchandise. When you’re dissatisfied, they make it impossible to delete your account and remove your payment method. Don’t waste your time with PetSmart, go to Chewy.

    My dog Bailey went into Pet Smart walking fine for his grooming. When I picked him up approximately 2 hours later he could barely walk. The groomer claimed it was from him sitting in his cage too long. Pet smart would not acknowledge any fault on their part. Do not take your pet to Petsmart for grooming. I took my dog to the vet the next day and it cost me over $800.00 in vet bills. It is not the vet money, it is the fact he was injured there.

    My dog was scratching your ears a lot. Seems to be a little cooking there so I've run her to PetSmart grooming. Told the girl to focus on the ears. She brung another girl and to look make sure there was no infection. LOL. What. There was no infection and it seems like they didn't bother to clean their ears after I made a point of it. My dog is now shaking her head repeatedly. I'm cleaning her ears out myself after I paid someone else to do it. Pissed off. Never again going to a junk place like that. Some kids isn't trained or don't pay attention to details. Clean her ears turn into not cleaning Her ears. Just a bunch of kids working there that don't care and know what they're doing.

    I would give no stars if that was possible. If you need prescriptions for your pet, DO NOT order them from here. We ordered two scripts on 10/29 with overnight delivery, which costs $35 extra, understanding that it's overnight after the vet approval happens. On 10/31, we received emails that the vet approved both meds. By end of day on 11/3, we still hadn't received a shipment notification, so on 11/4, I called their customer service, and asked for a refund of the $35 shipping cost, since obviously they hadn't shipped it overnight anyway. The guy said it should ship within 5 business days then. I agreed to that.

    On 11/7, we still hadn't received a shipment notification, so I logged in to see if the status on the order changed yet. Apparently, that guy cancelled the ENTIRE ORDER. I received no notification about this the entire week. So, I called in that day and explained everything to someone else. They said to remedy all this, I would need to re-create the order, and they could just ship it that day, since we already had the previous approvals from our vet.

    Well, here we are on 11/10, and I received an email saying they were still waiting for vet approval on one of the meds. So, I called in again, talked to someone else, and explained everything, and asked him to make it right, and ship the meds immediately overnight. He placed me on hold many times, only to explain that they can't because they don't have the one med in stock. That's not what the email said, but ok. I asked him why the website allowed me to order it, giving no indication of it not being in stock, AND it allowed me to pay for overnight delivery, which obviously wasn't going to happen. He just apologized and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I told him to cancel the entire order, and I'll get the meds through our vet. He said he can only cancel the one med, because the other was already filled. Seriously, PetSmart Rx is completely useless.

    I wish I didn't have to give a star. I am very dissatisfied with service at Stone Mountain 2150 Paxton Dr. SW, Lilburn, GA 30047. I setup an appointment for my fur-baby Bath & Full Haircut Dog. I selected the Full haircut thinking it was required because of his ear were a little matted from always in his water bowl. Come to find out they charged me an extra charge for Scissoring Fee (15 min). To make matters worse they shaved him all the way down(summer-cut) and we clearly asked for his normal cut. . My pet was cut much shorter than requested, almost bald, which I did not authorize. When I inquired, the groomer Jenny M said he didn't need it cut that short, even though my husband specifically requested his normal cut.

    I attempted to speak with the manager, but he was unhelpful and seemed to misunderstand me. I have been a PetSmart customer for 7 years without issue, and I am very dissatisfied with this experience. The manager which was not present during the conversation, so I told him to run the camera back and he would see who is lying, because I definitely have no reason to lie. The manager is very rude! After reviewing the reviews I will not give PetSmart my service again. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FUR BABIES - DON'T WALK BUT RUN AND NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR SERVICE!

    Petsmart has outstanding, admirable dedication to pets. Unfortunately, the Petsmart website is terrible. Also, Petsmart is one of the few stores that will not refund an online purchase made through Paypal except as store credit. This is not clearly stated on their website; it is hidden in the fine print. I am dissatisfied with my online purchase of a kitty litter box. I don't need store credit; I need a different kitty litter box than those Petsmart actually has in the store. The entire experience of getting it was a hassle, and I must sadly say Goodbye to PetSmart rather than struggling with its website and policies again.

    I recently brought my Goldendoodle in for her monthly grooming and was very disappointed with the results. I requested a light trim, but she was completely shaved and came home with small cuts on her belly. She was not matted, so this should not have happened. In addition, her original appointment was canceled last minute by the groomer, which was inconvenient. I’ve been a loyal customer for over ten years, but this experience has left me very disappointed, and I won’t be returning for future grooming services.

    I don’t regularly shop at PetSmart however we are adopting two kittens and I needed to get a list of supplies to prepare rather quickly. I ordered three of the most important things from the PetSmart website to be supposedly delivered free to my home. First of all the online prices that were showing that led me to choose. PetSmart were very deceptive. It turns out you could only get those prices if you signed up for monthly memberships for the most part. So then the prices were very comparable to other places. But I went through with the order on three important items, including kitty litter, wet food, dry food. Later that day I got notification that they were out of the litter they claimed they had in stock and it was refunded to my account. But I had to of course, try to find it elsewhere. Then the delivery was quoted to be one day and I did not receive it until the following.

    At that point, the free delivery I was required to give a tip so it in fact, it really wasn’t a free delivery. When the delivery finally arrived with the only two items remaining to my surprise, only one was delivered. I was still charged for two and received no notification that apparently another item was out of stock. I had to call customer service to figure all this out and get a partial refund on that item as well. So after all the hassle Only one of the three items that I originally ordered when they were apparently all in stock was even delivered to me and it was at a much higher price than advertised and I had to pay a delivery tip for a free delivery. I will never shop at PetSmart again.!!! There are so many other online options with comparable prices and or other local pet stores to purchase the same goods.

    I was trying to rescue 2 baby crested geckos as there's 2 co habiting in their small display cage only to be told my set up wasn't big enough even though I have 2 20 longs both with conversion kits to stand vertical. If you're in the business in killing animals then PetSmart is your place!

    I took my miniature pom for a bath and haircut. While I dropped her off, the groomer Emily asked whether I wanted her nails trimmed. I asked her if this service was not included in the package and she said the extra would be to grind and file her nails. I agreed. Signed the agreement of which they don't inform you what you are initializing or signing to.

    Upon picking her up I find out Emily added the deluxe package, which includes an upgraded shampoo and conditioner, teeth brushing, cologne, spritzing and bandana/bow. I didn't request this. I debated with Emily and she said she had discussed doing the same services initially provided to her back early this year. I was blind-sided by these extra services! I proceeded to call and speak to her supervisor for the lack of transparency provided by her groomers. All she could offer was that she would talk to her groomers about being more transparent. This is bs! I will not be returning to a business that pushes services that you don't want and I refuse to tip them for the lack of transparency! Pissed off customer that will not be renting and will not recommend this business to anyone. Take your pet somewhere else!

    I ordered dog food on 8/30/25 to start up an auto ship. I have used Chewy.com in the past, but thought I would take advantage of an auto ship special with petsmart. The website said it would be delivered on 9/3/25. It's now 9/9/25 and I still don't have the food. I cancelled the auto ship but they won't allow me to cancel the current order because it's still in route. At this point, my dogs will starve so I had to run to a different pet store to buy the food because I will never purchase anything from PetSmart again. Their customer service is terrible, no one has responded to any of my messages. I will go back to Chewy.com, they deliver on their promised delivery date.

    I bought the 10 lb bag, along with other items on August 15, 2025. As of August 27, 2025, 13 days later, items still have not been received on my end. Food has now been compromised sitting in hot delivery carrier trucks due to the hot weather. Customer Service could care less. I will never buy anything on line from Petsmart again.

    Yesterday Am (Thurs) at the store at South Park Meadows, I brought my little tan Chihuahua/whippet in to get his nails clipped. The young ** guy with dreads/twists entered all my info in, and I told him that his nails were long, and whatnot. I told him that I was alone w/ 3 dogs, and I don't have any help, and that I isolated them w/ me, and whatnot. I had no idea if my dog would sit still because I traumatized him w/ me trying to clip them myself. Well, sorry to say they looked like crap! When I checked out I asked 4 the mgr. and asked him if he could redo them or this one that was super long. No problem, but I felt like I was discriminated because I know what the tech was saying.. He was saying that my dog wasn't sitting there and letting him do his nails.

    Well I was watching him clipped those nails through the window where you can't see it's like tinted in a way but you can see and I was watching to see if he was going to be uncooperative and he might have been but like I said that's my fault but they look like shit. He could have waited and had somebody else because when I took them back in there the lady that did his nails, they came out beautiful like they should have and I really appreciate the manager allowing me to get them redone.. He made a comment I should bring him in more to get him use to it. I see what he's saying but I don't agree with it because you can't tell me that my dog is not the first dog to go in there this very uncooperative??? You just can't! Anyways, I don't have money like that to throw around and get a bad job gone?? You feel me? Well, I just wanted to let y'all know. Thanks.

    I am beyond disappointed with PetSmart. I had to bring my dog FOUR separate times for a simple haircut, and each time they failed to get it done. Today was the last straw — I left work early to make the appointment, only to be told the groomer was sick. Nobody even bothered to call me in advance to let me know. To make matters worse, the staff was extremely rude, as if it was somehow my fault for being frustrated. Their idea of fixing the problem was to offer a “discount,” as though a few dollars off makes up for the wasted time, gas, stress on my dog, and hours I had to take off work. Absolutely insulting. This is completely unprofessional and shows a total lack of respect for customers’ time and pets. If you care about your pet, your time, or basic customer service, do NOT go to PetSmart for grooming. Their incompetence, rude staff, and lack of communication are absolutely unacceptable.

    I took my dog to the doggie daycare at the Pelham Pet Smart located 830 Pelham Pkwy, Pelham, NY 10803. They have cameras so you can see how your dog is doing. My dog is neutered and friendly towards other dogs. They kept my dog caged all day. I kept checking the camera, but never saw any of the dogs playing in the rooms except for the little ones outside, where the customers can see. When I picked up my dog, they had no excuse as to why my dog didn't get to play. They just gave me a 50% discount. He pee outside the store for a long time showing that they didn't even take him out to pee.

    Brought puppy in for 1st haircut. Jerrat was groomer. Shaved him, it was all patchy, does not look like the same dog. I question because he seems bigger than my puppy and has been acting different, he also has been constantly scratching himself since returning home. When I voiced my concern to the manager, she had an excuse for everything, says hair will grow back. I recommend staying and watching them or just take your pet elsewhere!

    I had a 9 am appointment. I called that I will be late and showed up at 9:08 am. Around 9:15 am a girl with a shaved side and purple pony tail came out, heavy set girl ignored my dogs and went to the person behind me and asked questions. RUDE. I was first. In any event, There was a line in the store away from the grooming salon and waited a half an hour to get in to talk to someone. Once I got in I told the person that my Milo had scabs on his back from allergies, (that's what the last grooming person said), and they refused service this time. Grrr. I grabbed my two pups and left. Michelle is missed and the whole grooming store needs to be revamped..The bilingual new guy in the front is so busy telling you his story where he worked, I was like, "Get me out of there." Horrible.

    On July 17, 2025 I took my dog to get groomed at PETSMART. WHEN THE STAFF BROUGHT HIM to me he was very erratic, crying, and upset. I literally had to carry him to my car, and home. Once home, he would NOT eat or drink, he was crying,. I began to look over his body and saw deep cuts made with dog clippers, shaver, and grooming tools ALL OVER MY DOG STOMACH, BACK AND BUTT. HE Could not sit, lay down, or walk. He just kept crying. I reached out to PetSmart to find out why was my dog mutilated, and cut up all over his body. The groomer did not have an answer.

    I had to take my dog to the vet to get treated for all his deep cuts and bruises all over his body. My dog was given several shots, and antibiotics for his wounds. My dog was literally abused by PetSmart groomers. I do NOT RECOMMEND anyone to bring their pet to PetSmart for grooming. No dog should have to go through abuse at the hands of people who supposed to groom him, Not abuse him.

    This place is the worst ever. If I could I'll give, ---10 stars. There customer service is 00. If you love your pet don't go there. They sold me a broken item and don't want to replace it. You're complaining the manager, they want to call security. Really? I'm going with you all the way. $10 item and those billion $$$ selling broken items. Shame on you.
