Every cup I feed to my cats has a little piece of bone or multiple pieces. It’s kinda sad this company can sell this stuff. This quality in this wet food is terrible, I feel bad I ever fed this to my cats. I’m gonna start making real food for my cats. Not some random junk in a plastic cup with a fancy logo. All these random dyes and fillers make me sick. I wouldn’t eat this, why should my cats eat it. Sometimes my cats throw up from it. Not often tho.

I recently got two kittens (and already have a one year old cat). I got them the Meow Mix dry kitten food and it’s disgusting. All my cats (even the babies) started throwing up, having diarrhea and either blood or red dye from food in their diarrhea. Their ** are irritated and red and they aren’t feeling well. They’ve been on it for TWO DAYS. I then did some research and saw other people having the same issues and some other cats have died from this disgusting food. Ingredients are trash. I don’t know how they can still sell this they should have multiple lawsuits! Awful product. Made all three of my babies sick. I’m disgusted.

I recently lost my cat to this food brand. I buy indoor health since they both stayed inside and never ventured out.. All of a sudden my cat started throwing up. Took him to the vet and he passed away.

My cat absolutely loves Meow Mix cat food. The company seems awesome. I like the ingredients for my cat. The price is very affordable. I always get the 40 pound bag from Walmart. The packaging is very colorful.

I've tried other brands including the store brands but my cat seems to prefer Meow Mix. She can't wait till it's time to eat. With the other brands, it's as if there's no excitement. She doesn't eat as much with the other brands, but she devours Meow Mix. Guess she's very picky... or that this brand is better tasting.

It's a decent cat food if you're looking for something inexpensive and something that will last through the month. But if you're looking for a really healthy cat food, I would suggest considering the cat go on a better diet with another brand.

I have 3 cats and I use to feed them Purina Cat Chow. My 1 cat was use the Meow Mix, the other 2 ate the Purina. My 1 cat was a fussy eater and wouldn't eat the Purina, so I bought Meow Mix and now they all prefer the Meow Mix.

I help with a feral colony and try and get the 16 pound bag. That’s the biggest size I can manage on my own. The product is one of the least expensive and the cats really like it. The colony cats are not fussy so I really do not know anything about the ingredients but I figure they must be getting some nourishment to help them out.

I've been using this cat food for a homeless cat that picked me for some reason to befriend, I've fed, and taken care of her for about 5 years now, she's a good cat, I feed her Meow Mix because she likes it, and it's got the nutrition she needs, it's about the only brand she really likes.

The cat food is reasonable in price compared to the pricier cat food, and my two cats do seem to enjoy it, as does the dog who isn't supposed to eat it. It is easy to find at most stores. It also comes in sizes that I can carry.

My cats prefer this. I have 3 adults cats and this is the brand they like. The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. One of my cats was pregnant and she actually preferred this instead of Kitten Chow.

I have been giving my cat hairball control dry for years. She is a long hair and it decreased her vomiting. I also give her a Meow Mix wet food a few times a week. After doing some research I decided to switch her wet food. I’m going on 3 weeks now and can’t believe the increased amount of energy she has. It took her awhile to start eating the new wet food. Meow mix puts so much junk in there. I think she was kind of addicted to it, she didn’t want anything else which I also read about. It might sound crazy but I feel like she already so much healthier. She just looks more alert. Looking for a new dry food now also.

The Meow Mix dry cat food causes my cats to vomit. We stopped feeding it to them and they stopped vomiting and seem to like their new food better. My husband mistakenly brought out the meow mix again and the dogs started eating it and they would vomit too along with horrible diarrhea. Finally figured out what happened and since throwing away all of the meow mix all of my pets are fine. I don't know what's in the stuff but it isn't safe for any animal to eat.

I switched over to this brand because of the price I noticed that my cat started vomiting. Then the day before she died she slept all day with my family and peed in our bed. She ran to the basement and the next day when we came home we saw her laying on the blanket. I picked her up and she started meowing horribly. I brought her upstairs and put her in a blanket because she could not walk. Her Mouth tongue and nose and ears had no color. They were white. She laid on me and was panting then went into seizure. Vomited. Went back into a seizure and died. We were all crying and buried. She was my daughter's favorite cat. :( Please don’t this brand and look for something natural. I wish I read the reviews before buying it.

A friend couldn't find a home for her last kitten so I decided to take her. Since October 2019, when her mom cat became prego she put her on kitten food. For weeks and after pregnancy the mom cat has been on this brand and suffered horrible diarrhea. Took her to the vet & got dewormed. Still having issues. Now months later, me having the kitten, she's having same problem! As well using this brand, which my friend gave as a donation for taking her in. Poor thing been going for my other cats adult kit-dadoodle food brand instead. So I allowed my adult to have a little of what's left of the Meow Mix & is now getting the same smelly gassy flatulence! And RUNNY POOP. Which got me thinking something is wrong! PLEASE STOP USING THIS IMMEDIATELY!

I have been feeding my cat Meow Mix all his life of nine years. Something didn't seem right when I opened the current bag of cat food. He started vomiting for two days and died. I wish I would have read the reviews on the internet and maybe would have stopped feeding this to him and switch to a different brand. I can't prove this is what happened but I also can't prove it didn't. He was a very active, healthy cat.

I have been buying this same brand for years now, my cat would only ever eat the Tender Favorites with REAL salmon & crab meat in sauce. I have always purchased in lots of 30 to 50 at a time, this last batch I have now opened 7 containers and have thrown out the remains of 7 containers after our cat has thrown up each time. When I took a good look at the container I noticed a sticker on the bottom saying Made in Thailand. I don't remember the previous containers having this sticker. Also the gravy is not the same anymore and the texture is completely different. I have 23 containers left which will be getting returned to the store. NO MORE MEOW MIX for my cat, she is too precious to us. This Company needs to do something about it.

I have been feeding this brand (Meow Mix) to my cats for many years especially because they are so gosh darn picky. However, I recently noticed that my cats have been vomiting and having loose stool. They only eat dry food so I changed the brand of food to test out my theory and sure enough all 5 cats are no longer vomiting. I don’t know if Meow Mix changed their formula or something but I will no longer be buying their food for my babies anymore.

After many years of feeding Meow Mix to my now old Garfield cat, there must have been a formula change as both my young and old cat are now vomiting after eating. My dogs ate some as well and vomited. The appearance of the food has changed. It is now several different colors with light spots in the center. Why would they change such a great product?

I've bought my cat MEOW MIX for YEARS, UNTIL TODAY. I found in my pets food WORMS. Then I investigated the cat food that was still in the bag I didnt have room for in her SEALED TUPPERWARE container. I can't even tell you how disgusting it was inside as I had not see it when I opened it to pour into her container. I took back to the store I bought it from. Manger opened several more bags off the shelf all from different lits &THEY TOO WERE FULL OF WORMS. I called the meow mix company. Waste of time as they were oh so chalfant trying to insist it wasnt a problem on their end. B.S.!, I sad.
So they offered me free pet food coupons for meow mix, WHICH I WILL THROW IN MY TRASH SAME AS THEIR INFESTED DISGUSTING FOOD. They can't pass the buck off on the store when every bag we opened was contaminated as well. I took pics but can not find where I can add it. But it's on my FB page under LESLIE **. No wonder my cat had been vomiting for the last week when I bought the food. Their factory needs to be investigated for cleanliness because apparently the manufacture place is FILTHY.

My grandson is leaving for active duty tomorrow so I agreed to take in his 2 cats along with my own. Upon putting the food he brought me, Meow Mix Original, in the container, I found a clump of mold toward bottom of bag! I then went through what I had already put in and found small bits of the mold throughout! Needless to say I threw it out and will make sure he never buys that brand again!

My cat was exclusively fed Meow Mix Original dry Cat food for 17 years (from age 1 to age 17). Yes she absolutely loved it and refused anything else. But now, at the age of 17, she was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and renal failure by her vet. Totally devastating - her health is very poor now and the vet bills are outrageous.. All due to her Hyperthyroidism (she must now take prescribed meds for the rest of her life). The exact cause of her Hyperthyroidism has not been found, but there have been numerous studies relating ‘diet’ as a possible cause to Hyperthyroidism. So I took her off her Meow Mix real quick. Owners beware.

I have 3 cats and they were eating Purina. We began fostering a 4th so I thought to save money I’d buy Meow Mix. BIG MISTAKE. My cats started vomiting and they got diarrhea and bloody stool. One cat began losing over a pound a week. We took him to the vet, he needed an IV drip and nutrient dense food you feed with a syringe. Took him off Meow Mix and his stool started to harden. Gave him Meow Mix again and sure enough - bloody water all throughout the litter box. How can this company get away with poisoning cats!?

My two cats got violently sick and had bloody diarrhea when I picked this brand up for them. Made a guess it was the food and switched them back. Cats got better. Months went by with no problems and then my husband brought home a bag of the same stuff and I didn’t realize it until two days later when I was once again cleaning up bloody stools. Will NEVER feed this to my cats again! I don’t care what the company says, there is something really wrong with this product!

My Luna had 3 beautiful kittens. I kept them all. They were so beautifully unique. I would usually feed them Friskies but then switched to Meow Mix and 3 days later they were all dead. They had vomit and bloody stool the days before. I still cry for them. How could this happen?!! Questions/recommendations pls email me.

Been feeding Meow Mix Tender Cuts forever along with Friskies Temptations, no problems. Figured we'd switch things up a little, gave some Meow Mix Irresistibles as a treat along with Meow Mix Brushing Bits, he's been sitting around, barely moving since it appeared to start the very next day. Looked closer at the ingredients, OMG... Animal Digest, what the hell is that. Anyway, will monitor his manners for a day or so...

I've been feeding Meow Mix Original to my adopted cat for six years now and he likes it a lot. When I adopted the cat I didn't know what food to give him that he was used to, so I had to go through many kinds of dry food to find out. Of the many brands that I bought he would only eat a little of it, and when finally I gave him Meow Mix Original I knew right away that this was what he was used to, because he started to eat a lot more of it than with the other brands.
This food seems to be very good for him, I can tell because he's a very active cat, often likes to play and run all over the house (for a cat who is around 12 years of age -- he has many white hairs already -- I think that's pretty good). And also, I think this is an important point to make here (eating this food keeps his weight down even though he eats of it as much as he wants, which is not a big quantity -- that's another sign that the food is nutritious and well balanced). I would certainly recommend this cat food.

Jasper is an emotional support animal for a 21-year-old veteran. He ate MEOW MIX and began urinating blood and stool was trapped in his stomach. Meow Mix said there was NOTHING wrong with him and their food is SAFE. MEOW MIX said their food was safe and found no correlation between his symptoms the dry food.
When I took him to the hospital he was SCREAMING and CRYING in pain. He had to be sedated before they could even examine him. The veteran has severe anxiety due to military trauma and Jasper was unable to help her for months. He lost a lot of hair, and went from 12lbs to 6lbs in roughly the span of 2 weeks. He was urinating dark blood and screaming while passing urine or having bowel movements. Jasper's vet bill was $615! And guess what!? He still wasn’t fully recovered after medication. The food is horrible! There are harmful chemicals. NEVER, EVER feed your cat Meow Mix or 9 LIVES. If you do your research you will read about hundreds of DEAD cats because of this food.

I got my cat in 2016 as a kitten and started feeding him Purina Kitten. All was great. As he got older I switched to Meow Mix and he started vomiting all the time, which I have never had a cat before so I thought it was just normal hairballs. He also would develop scabs on his body which I thought was from dry skin and scratching at his skin. My vet told me it was because he needed fixed, I got him fixed and had switched his food to Purina at that time and he was fine. A month ago I switched back to Meow Mix and over the last month his body has become increasingly covered in red sores and scabs. He’s throwing up multiple times a day. Found out it’s the cat food, he’s allergic to the nasty stuff they put in it. This ** shouldn’t be fed to cats! So mad I even ever gave him this garbage!
