    Terrible shipping/processing. It's been 8 days since I ordered a fly mask. They still haven't shipped it. Called to cancel and was told a shipping label was 'created' so I couldn't cancel. But it still hasn't shipped. I will never order from here again.

    ⭐☆☆☆☆. Very disappointed with Jeffers. I ordered a time-sensitive Marek’s vaccine for baby chicks, yet the order took several days to ship and customer service refused to answer basic questions about vaccine viability after extended transit times. Their response completely ignored my concerns and only repeated that the package was “in transit.” When dealing with biological products that require proper temperature control, customers deserve real answers — not canned responses. Last time my vaccine arrived only cool, not properly chilled, which already raised concerns. Unfortunately, this experience gave me very little confidence in their handling of sensitive products or customer support.

      I canceled my order because it was taking so long to even process it. But...canceling is a major ordeal. Each time I call it is clearly a call center with foreigners. They all say the same thing that they sent the request to cancel to the warehouse and it's pending. I can't get a confirmation that I canceled my order because the warehouse does not take phone calls. Really??? My credit card company can't refund until there is proof the order was canceled. This is a stupid circle because of Jeffers. I will never do business with Jeffers again. What they don't mention when you order that it takes 72 hours to process your order but they take your money immediately. This is a total rip off. Read the real reviews first. Don't read the reviews on their site because they make it sound how wonderful they are. That's bullcrap and those reviews are probably fake.

      I was, and said WAS a client of Jeffers since Betty and Doc had it in their garage! Way before Covid, there had been a steady decline across the board in stock. The only saving grace was the staff they HAD. Shipment delays was normal, but being of stock on so many items was not unusual even when advertised on sale, they did not order the items. I used to spend a good $1500 each month there so I do not consider myself having been a drive by fast sale client.

      When it sold I was hopeful that things would improve. Instead of enlarging the retail area and putting in red leather furniture and so many ridiculous things that no one wants, it would have been a great idea to actually carry stock as in the old days! No, they got worse. Great and long term employees were fired for reasons created to get the people gone. Now, this practice continues. I had to order from other retailers instead of being able to drive 5 miles and get my things. Frankly, the ONLY reason I continued to shop there was due to the great staff. NONE are there now and along with so many others I know, we will all be gone as well. You can bet on it!

      Terrible experience! I ordered a vaccine next day air, and It's been 4 days, and they still have not shipped, nor offered any compensation for their delays. The vaccine could have potentially saved suffering of our stock. They hide behind it being a non shipping day (Wednesday), which was not disclosed before purchased. Do not buy from them, I will be telling everyone in my agriculture community to avoid them, as they clearly do not actually care about farming or animals.

      I purchased a Challenger bareback pad from Jeffers through Amazon 4 months ago. They agreed to replace the super short stirrup leathers and I spent $20 to return that part of the product - STILL WAITING despite numbers phone calls on my part, of course - DON'T BUY FROM JEFFERS.

      Unfortunately once a great company to get most of your medications under Dr Jeffers who passed away several years ago now has become ordinary from slow shipping to out of stock items. Really is a disappointment that the service over the years has not been up to expectations.

      This company sent me warm vaccines! I rose red a flat being told would include a tote with ice packs. When received no tote and 1 warm ice pack along with warm vaccine. That is a huge red flag. Does that mean they’re not refrigerating correctly? This can make an animals ill or even kill them. I called to report issue to them immediately and they told me it’s my fault because shipping speed and they do not guarantee their product. I was told someone would call me back and would be issues 1 times courtesy refund. Just found a return label in my email with no explanation. I’m sending the warm vaccines back however who is to say they won’t send them to someone else. I think someone needs to investigate this place! I DO NOT recommend anyone buy from these people.

      This was suddenly on autoship. When I called to cancel they said they would put in the request. I immediately get a call back a few minutes later saying they can’t cancel because they already shipped. When you look at the tracking, you can see that UPS never received the package and the label had just been created only after I made the call to cancel. They know they have a policy they won’t allow for a return on vaccines. So they will never allow you to cancel a vaccine order when they can just go ahead and ship after you call to cancel and that way they force the sale with no recourse given. Very shady business practices. I’m going to post this for all the websites that will alert you to scammers and fraudsters.

      ***IF I could give 0 stars, I would.*** I have called to try and resolve this issue and spoke with Marsha who was going through her supervisor to try and get my issue resolved (name of supervisor is unknown to me). They have provided me with a HORRIBLE resolution. I received batch of KC Solo-Jec Bordetella vaccines that are to expire in LESS than 27-days from the date of receipt. I DID NOT want a refund, I simply asked my item to replaced and expedited due to internal errors with Jeffers Pet. I had no issue with sending proof/receipt of return. Not only that, I always order with hesitation through Jeffers as have received my packages in the past with the ice pack fully melted and not really cold to the touch.

      In following my Shipment progress, it is clear that the packages remain in warehouses waaay too long during transit for such a delicate item that is "activated" when above a certain temperature. Takes 5-business days and they ship with small/cheap ice pack. How in their minds they think that is okay is beyond me! I typically order all my vaccine needs through Revival Animal and have NEVER had any issues like this one!! The package always arrives within two business days from item being shipped and with the ice packs frozen and cold to the touch!

      That being said, the fact that Jeffers Pet was not even willing to fix an issue with a customer who clearly was put in a bad situation by Jeffers Pet- I will NEVER order from here again and neither should anyone else order vaccines from Jeffers Pet or anything that is temperature sensitive. I will stick to a reliable and trusted source from now on ONLY and so should you- RUN if you care for your pets health!

      On June 24, I ordered over #600 worth of vaccines for my dogs, paying the hefty $75 overnight shipping fee. The UPS tracking number showed it shipped out June 25. So far, so good. Only that's as far as it went good as it took the vaccines 5 DAYS to get to me! I immediately called Jeffers, expecting a polite apology and offer to reship. Instead, I was rudely told to check with the shipper. At that point, I told them I wanted a refund. They agreed to give me a refund, but only if I sent the 81 degree vaccines back to them. Why? So they could sell the bad vaccines to someone else? I reluctantly agreed to return them. I know, bad on me. A few days went by and I never got the email with the return shipping label.

      I called July 3rd and was told they have a backlog on sending out return shipping labels. Huh? They must have an enormous number of return shipping labels. I called again today, July 10, and the customer service rep said she'd send a note to a manager to send me another return shipping label since I didn't get the first one. Yeah, right. As soon as I got off the phone with her, I called my cc company to start the process of disputing the charge. IF they ever send me a return shipping label, which I hope they don't now, I will label the vaccines as BAD in permanent marker before returning them.

      I don't trust this company at all to not resell these vaccines. I no longer trust them at all with anything. It's a shame. They used to be a good company. I wonder if they're now owned by another company or something. Everything from the bad shipping to the poor customer service is so different from the Jeffers I used to know. Oh! One other thing. I DID check with the shipper. The vaccines WERE NOT SHIPPED FOR OVERNIGHT DELIVERY which I had paid Jeffers for. Do not trust this company.

      This company does not do the right thing from a customer service perspective. In addition, they sell on Amazon and are poor at that as well. When reaching out to change my order before it shipped I received no response. They then printed a label right away when they received my request so it showed as shipped and then declined my cancellation 2 hrs later. I now have to wait 10 days for the item and then pay to ship it back.

      I purchased a bedding fork for mucking out stalls from Jeffers! I had to assemble the product when it arrived: attach the fork to the handle. The fork did not fit the handle. The holes did not line up. When I called Jeffers, I was told that I could email a staff member at Jeffers. I did and then I never heard from them. So my husband cut the handle bar so that we could match up the hole on the fork with the hole one the handle. When all was attached well, the fork wobbled. This is a very very cheap product. Don't waste your money on Jeffers Pet!

      Do NOT order from this company!! I have used them for years and they have recently merged with another company and service is absolutely TERRIBLE!! I ordered nearly $300 worth of refrigerated vaccines along with extra ice and a cooler. They shipped my vaccines in a normal cardboard box without a cooler since they were "out of coolers" as was written on the invoice. Obviously the vaccines arrived warm and useless. After 3 phones calls and an email I still have no resolution and have been getting a complete run around from this company. Save yourself the hassle and order from someone else as Jeffers is no longer a reliable company. They should be shut down!!

      I guess pleased customers don’t seek out a place to make a review. We have been buying from Jeffers for years, and I thought they were great. We live in Alabama, as do they, so vaccines don’t have to travel far, plus they have the best price. My mother had been placing the orders, not me, so maybe it wasn’t as good as I thought. I knew she had issues getting vaccines around Covid time, but I wasn’t expecting issues in 2025.

      I began an order online on March 6, but it charged sales tax, so I call to ask about it and I’m told to submit an online tax form. I call USDA to get my number. I fill out the form and submit; it says 2-3 days to process. Vaccines ship M-W, so I will place the order on March 10. I called the 11th, because the tax still showed on my cart. I was told I need to fill out a tax exempt form. I explained I had done, but they said it took several days. They said someone would call me. (No one called). The next day I check my cart, my items are there, tax is still on it, worse, they have now run out of one of vaccines I need! Monday the 17th I called, explained about the tax, was told it took awhile to get it approved, but was told I could talk to someone. I waited online for one hour and 15 minutes.

      I was disconnected but got a call back and she said something about the computer system was being redone and someone would call me, no one did. On 3/20 I wrote to customer service. Lots of apologies and excuses about the computer system, but was told the tax exemption was attached to my account now. (Why is it even taxing Cattle vaccines and ear tags?) Went to order online, still shows taxes. On 3/24 I call to place the order. Tiffany helps me, I buy the last 4 of a substitution vaccine. She says I could have placed the order on 3/6 and they would have refunded the tax. No one in the three prior calls said that, nor did Peter T. In his emails. Lots of apologies for "inconvenience".

      It’s more than inconvenient, I got my order yesterday and they shorted the 4 substitute vaccines I ordered! (Obviously their inventory tracking system doesn’t work right either!). I called (and I’m not appreciative of it now looking like I’m a **), they don’t do back orders, I have to reorder (if the vaccine ever shows up) and pay again for the shipping. Apologies are meaningless when You don’t rectify the situation. Good customer service would provide free shipping on my next order and notify me when they get the product in. At this point, I don’t know if I have been refunded on the shortage or the tax. I wish I could say I’d never use them again, but I don’t really have other options!

      These folks are straight up crooked. Almost 3 months later, and my refund for out of stock items has not been received. Several calls and emails, and they still won't do the right thing. I have been a customer for many years, so I don't understand how this once great company is no longer a trustworthy entity.

      Jeffers is the absolute worst company to buy from. As a company they have no moral integrity. I bought my first shipment of vaccines in May of 2024. I set it up on an auto ship. Thy customer service department set it up because buying vaccines I wanted to make sure it was set up correctly. When the vaccines arrived they were hot and the second set was also. Their advise was to get an ice pack and send them back. They did refund me my money.

      I gave them a second chance. Big mistake as they delivered my November shipment fine however, my January shipment never shipped on the 9th. I contacted them and they said it shipped on the 6th and would be to me by the 18th. I paid for 2 day shipping. I contacted them and told them this was unacceptable as the vaccines would be bad when they arrived. They told me they would refund me but I needed to send the vaccines back. When the vaccines arrived I rejected the package and not only do I not have the bad vaccines they never refunded me. This company is absolutely shady and deceitful.

      Jeffers often has good prices on horse supplies, but I will never shop with them again. I ordered a saddle pad from them, and some fly boots to make up the free shipping. The fly boots arrived, but the pad never did. After a few weeks I reached out to find out when I could expect the pad, and only then was I told that it was out of stock. It took a few more days of back and forth for them to refund me for the pad. I assume that if I had never contacted them, they would never have informed me of the situation or returned my money. I would never trust them again and will make my horse purchases elsewhere.
