You...as a broker advertise that your puppies are vaccinated, dewormed etc. This is not true. You are representing an ignorant greedy group of breeders that only care about the cash value of the puppy and not the well being of the puppy. Makes me sick to my stomach... You should be ashamed Greenfield Puppies for advertising lies at the expense of puppies.

My breeder was very friendly and honest but it was her first time breeding and she was inexperienced. The representative from Greenfield did not want the breaded to share as much info as she did with me and I should have ask even more questions. Overall, I would have made a trip to visit the pet before purchasing through greenfield. My pet did come with a health cert but I didn’t not see it until I picked him up from the airport. It showed that he was not in good shape during his first and only vet visit. He was being treated for worms and his nutrients were depleted.

By the time I receive him he looked malnourished and smelled like he lived in a filthy barn. I was upset that he was not even groomed or prepared for purchase. I paid 2500 for a puppy I believe should have cost 500. Over the course of the next months he suffered with poor gut health literally every month there was vomit or diarrhea or both. Thank goodness for pet insurance for the vet calls and visits.

That was nearly three years ago and he is a happy, healthy only fur pet in our family aka spoiled. But I wanted to write this review because I do believe greenfield is still a good company to purchase a specific breed of puppy. But as a consumer it’s important that we push for all the information and if they don’t give it then look for other ways to get answers. Here are some questions: How old is the mother of the puppies? what is her temperament? Is she a good mother? Where does she sleep? Do the puppies get held by humans? How many times has mother been pregnant? How many litters has the breeder had? How often has the puppy seen the vet? Ask as many questions to have a good idea of what you are in for.

I bought three dogs from this place. The puppies were kept in a barn with cows. Their parents weren't on premises. They claimed they were 12 weeks old. I took them to the vet immediately. They were vomiting up eggshells, hay, and brown material. They were not from the same litter. The vet estimated they were from 3 separate litters; one was an adult. The male puppies had two sets of testicles. The female was ectrodactyly. They were inbred. It cost double to fix each male because they had to clip the descended testicles and surgically remove the crypto set. The female's paw repair surgery was over $2k. I did get the money back since the vet determined their defects were congenital which is covered under their limited warranty.

I shopped for a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I contacted a breeder that was listing on Greenfield Puppies site. I flew from Seattle to Narvon PA (Fishers was breeder) and bought a CKCS for top dollar. I was told the puppy was a ACA purebred CKCS. I got the DNA back and it's a mixed dog. The breeder Linda refuses to accept any responsibility that she sold me a mixed dog. She blames me for buying it without a DNA test first?!

I reached out to Greenfield to notify them that she was fraudulently selling mutts as purebred (against ACA also) and Greenfield didn't ban them or even suspend them. Greenfield allows them to continue scamming potential buyers. I have since learned that people get puppy mills dogs and split the profits with the mill owners to sell on sites like Greenfield Puppies. Greenfield is a cover for puppy mills!

I purchased a Boston Terrier puppy in May from Greenfield Puppies. As soon as we got home, he had bloody diarrhea all over the floor. We thought it could just be from the stress of the car ride home, but took him to the vet and he tested positive for giardia. I informed the breeder and was ghosted. It is now October, the giardia is finally gone but now my puppy has c diff which is another horrible thing for him to be dealing with so young. This has been an extremely stressful time treating him and dealing with constant diarrhea, not to mention very expensive with so many vet visits, tests, and medications.

Greenfield Puppies does promote mass produced dogs, which might not be illegal, but not something you are looking for. Please, look for critical reviews, and distinguish between a cute puppy and a good breeder: We bought a puppy from Mr. ** on Greenfield Puppies. The dog is obviously wonderful, and we love him very much. However, in hindsight there are many signs that Mr. ** is a mass producer of puppies which might not receive the care from him you'd expect.

First of all, he offers multiple breeds and many puppies. Then he doesn't show you the parents or the place the puppies are kept. He is also highly transactional, and the overall in-person experience seemed somewhat staged. Finally, he uses a relative to do the medical exam. Please, judge for yourself and read up about Amish puppy mills before buying here. If you already bought one from him, observe if your puppy has behavioral (e.g. anxiety, aggression, difficult to potty train) or medical issues (e.g. infections).

Bought a shiba inu thru Greenfield. Had him 2 days and he got sick and passed away. RIP Ozzy. He had Parvo which can be detected thru fecile test which breeder never did. Also found out someone else from this breeder got a sick pup and the vet bill just to get meds to help him were a few hundred dollars, please stay away, most of the dealers are Amish and I found out after they don't have to follow same rules of other breeders due to the religious beliefs. I would give this site 0 stars but it wouldn't let me.

I started researching puppies on Greenfield Puppies. When I could not find satisfactory information regarding the breeders I started doing independent searches. I found information that several were cited as puppy mills and in violation of several humane treatment of animal violations. I then looked to report this to greenfield and they have no reporting mechanism in place. It seems they are only interested in money and sticking their head in the sand.

I wanted a Poodle puppy & came across Greenfield Puppies and found one. Daniel ** of Millersburg OH was the breeder. I’ve learned a lot since my purchase. 1st, tail was docked to a nub which I’ve been told by reputable breeders that is a sign of a backyard breeder/puppy mill, b/c they don’t care about the integrity of the breed. 2nd, my puppy had a hereditary defect. And lastly, after being concerned learning about Amish/puppy mills, I get DNA done to discover my poodle is mixed w/Bichon Frise.

Daniel admitted to me that he didn’t do any health/DNA testing on the parents. Any responsible breeder would do this! Another sign of BYB/Puppy mill is multiple breeds for sale. I’ve done my research on GFP, the Amish, and puppy mills! I would NEVER buy another puppy from this Co. They do NOT care about the breeders or if the breeder is a BYB/Puppy mill. PAY ATTENTION to any negative reviews you find! BBB,Yelp, puppy blogs, etc. Reputable breeders are aware of this Co. I love my puppy but will do my research before EVER buying another puppy! Reputable breeders will ask YOU questions and make YOU sign a contract. Make sure to ask questions about the bloodline, tests, and to see the parents if at all possible.

LOOK at the living conditions the puppies actually stay in, not just have someone bring a puppy to you! Also, reputable breeders DO NOT ADVERTISE!!! Join FB groups and ask questions, do research or adopt from a shelter! DON’T SUPPORT THIS CO OR ANY OF THE BREEDERS! I don’t know how these people can sleep at night! It’s disgusting to the highest degree when you research about Amish and how they are known for puppy mills, and treat dogs/puppies like livestock. So I bought my puppy from a Greenfield Puppies website and have since come to learn they are only a platform for breeders (and puppy mills!) to sell their pups. I have been disturbed by Greenfield puppies for some time now. I got my puppy (a Shihtsu/Yorkie mix) from an Amish farm in PA and was so horrified by what I saw. My puppy had the worse case of ear mites by vet had ever seen and was in constant pain since his birth (8 weeks). Thankfully he is ok but I have since learned of the horror stories of puppies from Lancaster, PA. The Amish kept the dogs in a backyard shed in cages; the females looked so sad and malnourished from breeding. It was so dirty and dark we couldn't stand there for long. Please if you buy a puppy, always ask to see the parents and where they live. And please do not support these guys who act as a "puppy" broker because they shelter breeders like this.

My Shichon pups are nearly four years old. I found them on the Greenfield Puppies website. As my last dog was purchased in a pet store at a time when I was unaware of puppy mills, I did as much research as I could about Greenfield Puppies. I came away with a favorable impression. When I inquired about an adorable little female Shichon, the breeder was upfront with the fact that she was the runt of the litter and small... But that she was healthy. My husband and I decided to purchase her and one of her litter mates.

When we arrived at the farm, we met our new fur babies and fell immediately in love. The seller gave me a supply of high protein food for the small pup with instructions regarding special feedings. She (my little Sophie), thrived and although she is small, she is healthy and is a little spitfire. I believe her brother (Cody) played a big part in this. My pups are beautiful; healthy animals. My experience was very good. I wish I would have asked to meet the mother of my pups, but I didn’t think of it. In reflecting on how clean this farm was, I doubt it could have been a puppy mill establishment. It is unfortunate that some of the people who reviewed Greenfield Puppies had such heartbreaking experiences. While my experience was good, I believe Greenfield Puppies should do a better job in addressing concerns.

I punched in Pomsky puppy breeders and Greenfield came up. And I looked at a lot of other ones but I didn’t see anything I liked. Also, a lot of the prices were 4,500 bucks. So, on the first week I was looking, I decided that I was not spending 4,500 bucks and I took a week off from looking. Then, I decided to look again and sure enough, I was seeing them on Greenfield for 7,000, 8,000, and 9,000. Then I ended up spending 10,050 plus shipping for mine.

Other than that, my experience with Greenfield was pretty quick. They said they were gonna send the puppy on this day but I got it on the next day. Then, when I showed up to pick up the puppy, I waited 30 minutes at the airport and there he was, all healthy. He was also in a big kennel for a tiny guy. But he’s growing into his kennel and he'll be 20 to 25 pounds. He’s a really good-looking dog and I haven't seen any dog as good-looking as him. He’s a really good dog, too, so I was happy with the breeder as well.

They said I had to pay the owner but it was not clear if its for the puppy or the airplane ticket. I had to call them and then talk to the person. I was told I had to pay for the puppy and they would contact me about the plane ticket. Other than that, it was good.

They had a lot of selection. There’s also a long waiting list of breeders and I didn’t see anything wrong with going for it. They have one of the best services. The only thing I wish was more customer support on off hours because the time relation wouldn’t really line up. Their time zone would be very off because I’m in California. I had to make sure to wake up really early to make sure I hit their time zone with my time zone and then not go back-and-forth. But I had a pleasant experience. It was really good that I could contact the seller.

I got a Samoyed and his name is Blue. Now, he’s about 16 weeks and he’s doing fine. The only thing that I noticed one day was he got a lazy eye. But besides that, he’s been wonderful. A lot of people asked me where I’ve gotten my Samoyed because the breeders are very scarce in California and even if you find them, there’s a giant waiting list and your best luck is to wait months and see if you can get a puppy. So I’ve recommended Greenfield Puppies to friends.

Greenfield was very good. I went through them because I was looking for a certain breed and they were shipping in the area. They have listed that breed on the website. It was a Havapoo. It was a great experience with them. However, the breeder didn't communicate. She didn't have internet. She also didn't have a cell phone so it was really difficult. But Greenfield was great in trying to follow up with her. I had her information as well but she was the only roadblock. Greenfield might have dropped her since. Maybe because of that experience, they decided it wasn’t worth working with that breeder. It was a weird experience.

Initially, the only way I could contact Greenfield was via email. There wasn’t a way to call them. I did finally get the phone number of someone. But especially with the difficulties in dealing with the breeder, it would've been nice to have a phone number. We are dog lovers. We’ve had dogs before. I had a Yorkipoo that died a couple years ago and I just couldn't bring myself to replace him right away so I waited until I was ready. We love our Havapoo. She’s adorable. She’s five months old now. We got her when she was nine weeks old.

We have two dogs that are a little older and we have two little boys that are very young. So, we thought it would be a good time to get a new pup, let the older dogs show him the ropes and he can grow up with our boys. The breeder directed us to Greenfield and the representative was very helpful. It was a strange time with regards to weather or there was a circumstance that prevented a quick and easy shipment and he was very willing to work with us. We were able to make it happen, so he was awesome. We got a bernedoodle and his name is Charlie.

A lot of the decision came from my wife loving the Bernese mountain dog breed and me not loving dog hair, so it was a great way to meet in the middle. We went through the different pictures and found the puppies that we thought were adorable and based on the pictures, you can tell whether or not they want to interact with the kids and if they are more happy or more lethargic. Going in a little bit deeper and seeing the interactions with the breeder’s family and children really sold Charlie for us. He is five months now and he is very lively, loving, loyal and very fluffy. He is amazing.

All the kids have grown up and left. They all live around but I wanted to have something to do besides sit around and watch TV. So I was looking at puppies and my son has bought one. I was looking for a miniature Bernese Mountain Dog, and everybody was saying how they started mixing all the breeds and they ended up getting sick. I didn’t want a real big dog because we live in a townhouse and I talked my wife into a Corgi after about eight months when she finally said okay. My son had bought a silver Lab from somebody back East and it took me a few months to kinda pull the trigger but then I saw Jigs. He was a pretty dog and I wanted him. We went from there, so I started making phone calls.

Jigs has been here for a couple of months now. He’s with me all day long and today is the first day that he’s not with me because I am up here in San Diego for a doctor’s appointment. But usually, he gets in with me at 4:30 in the morning and I take him back home at 3:00. Then he plays with other people after work. I’m a farmer, so he gets to run around out the fields, which is what he wants to do. He irritates my wife because she likes to sit there and play with her computer and he likes jumping on her lap, but she will sit there and put her computer down. He’s good with my grandkids. He barks a little bit but then as soon as they start playing with him, all of a sudden, he’s just a puppy. He nibbles, but he doesn’t make anybody cry.

Picking a dog online is hard but you got the videos on there so that kinda helps out seeing what you’re getting. But you don’t know if that’s the actual dog you’re getting. In my case, it was. I talked to the breeder about four times over the phone before I decided to tell him that I was gonna take the dog. I don’t know how Greenfield works with the breeders. But I liked that they never pushed me for another dog. Then I wanted to know what I was supposed to do and to whom I would send the money to. It took about couple of days. It was kinda hard to get someone in the office. I sent them the money right before Christmas but it took a little while to get all the paperwork. All the people were off so it didn’t happen until after Christmas. Then we got a problem with wanting to pick up to where he was supposed to be picked up. All of a sudden, he couldn’t fly out because of the weather, so we had to wait about four more days but it was no big deal.

There was hardly any communication but all of a sudden, the rep and I were talking all the time and she would let me know what was going on. There was a problem with the shots because one of the doctors wouldn’t give him rabies shots because he was too young. They told me that they had to take him to this doctor because he couldn’t get on the plane unless he had his rabies shots. But she took care of all of that deal. I appreciate they told me that could happen not till next week. I got a little disappointed but then she called me back that afternoon and said that they got all the paperwork and it’s all ready to go. The dog would be flying out on Friday.

It was kinda hard that Greenfield is on the East Coast and we’re on the West Coast. So, it was making sure you don’t wanna call anybody when it’s real late but it all worked out good. If I had to buy another dog, I would go back to Greenfield Puppies. I’ve told people and I showed a guy that comes down and sells fertilizer pictures of the website. He was gonna go home to his wife and talk to her.

So, he had to call me back after getting ahold of Greenfield to find out more along the lines of what the procedure would be. I could only make a phone call and wait for a response because he did not have an email or any form of technology. After we had our puppy for 6 months, he was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. We paid for the surgery in both legs. I was in touch with Kristine and Eldon throughout all of our ordeals. They were wonderful people to deal with. They offered us another puppy. I was grateful for their offer; however, we love our dog and did not want another puppy. They refunded the full amount of the cost back to us. They are very honest people.

I will admit, I was very skeptical based on reviews and puppy mills. I was assured they were not a puppy mill and I chose to trust them. They have been nothing but honest, fair and trustworthy. I realize that our puppy does have some major health concerns; however, I also realize that can happen with any breeder. I just want to let you know that they were wonderful to us and kept their guarantee and their word.

The particular breed that we were looking for wasn't available in Texas at all, so friends who had previously used Greenfield Puppies directed us towards that website. We then found the breed that we were interested in at the price that we were willing to pay, and so we went on ahead. The only other website that we looked at was I puppyfind.com. Then, after we had used that one, we immediately got spam email. I did some research on both websites and there seemed to be more phishing scams with the other. Because I was able to speak to our breeder directly, that gave me confidence in Greenfield Puppies that they were legit. Then we met a nice lady in Pennsylvania. Still, until we had the Cavapoo puppy here, we were like, "Oh, my goodness, are we being conned?" But, altogether, it was a very smooth experience. In choosing the puppy, non-allergic and size were important. A friend also had this breed, so that all played into it.

We are coming out of the puppy phase and we are all getting used to one another. We have four children, so we added an extra little person to pick up after in the house. A lot of Facebook communities warn you of Greenfield Puppies but they also give helpful advice like talk to your breeder, get an address, and get a picture sent. And if you do your homework, then you are going to be more confident with the experience.

We were looking for a Bichon Frise mix. We started searching online and stumbled upon Greenfield. I found the website to be easy to navigate and to find a dog that we were interested in. And then, once I went through the steps to find the dog and notify Greenfield, I did everything that the website had set up as far as the forms you’re supposed to fill out. The experience was fairly easy and straightforward. Having our new pup is like having a kid with the potty training and getting her used to our home and our other dog. But so far, it’s been great. Our family is completely in love with our dog. She was born on September 19th, and then we got her on December 7th.

Greenfield's correspondence was great. One representative was helping me the whole time, and then, at the very end, right when she was gonna give me my flight information, she was off and somebody stepped in. And when that other person stepped in, they gave me the wrong flight information. So, on the day I would go pick up my puppy, I was in a panic because it was for a different location. It said the dog was gonna ride in Florida, and I’m in California. I didn’t even think to check the tracking because I said not to until an hour after the plane was supposed to leave. So, I didn’t worry about it until that day of the flight.

It was a Saturday, and so, they were closed and I really couldn’t call and talk to anybody. But the breeder helped me out immensely. We were able to contact the person in Florida to find out what information she got. So, she got my information and I got her information because we were buying a dog from the same breeder and it just got mixed up. What happened was the breeder had more contact information for the administration at Greenfield, and she was able to put me through to a very nice gentleman at Greenfield who gave me his personal cell and reassured me that the right puppy was on the way to me. It was just a mix-up in the flight information. I would use Greenfield again. I’m glad the puppy’s here and everything worked out, and I already have recommended Greenfield to a family member.

I thank this breeder for being understanding and willing to take action to help prevent this from occurring again. Greenfield Puppies however has never gotten in touch with me and according to the breeder they have never notified him that I contacted them.

Original Review: Our Golden Retriever DOB 2/09/19, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on 11/21/19 at just over 9 months old. In her case the condition was NOT caused by trauma but is GENETIC. To be fair, we also have one of her brothers from the same litter who was checked for dysplasia in December 2019 and so far he is ok. We notified the breeder Henry ** of Lititz, Pa ** by phone of the problem and told him we felt he should NOT breed the parents again. Of course we got his voice mail and he never called us back.

Three to four weeks later he has another litter from my puppies mother (Maxie) for sale on Greenfield. They are available for sale now 2/1/20. This litter should NOT BE SOLD WITHOUT X-rays to prove that their hips are normal. The new litters father is listed as Barney, my puppies father is Jimmie Lee. I notified Greenfield through e-mail and asked if they were contacted by anyone else that has gotten a puppy from this breeder that has been diagnosed with this condition from either of both of these parents. It has been a week and I have not gotten a reply from Greenfield. I am now going to file a complaint with the Attorney General of Pa. against Greenfield and Mr. **.

I learned a lesson about purchasing a dog from the Amish the sad and hard way. We went to David in the Amish Country of Ohio to pick up our miniature Australian Shepherd that we paid $1,000 in cash for. After we brought the little puppy home we noticed as he got older he didn't look like an Australian Shepherd. We did a DNA test to find out he was half mini-Aussie and then had hints of McNabb and Kelpie in him. Not only that, but he was terrified of men to the point of being very aggressive towards them. After he bit my brother and brother-in-law we took him to a vet and where she informed us his tail had been chopped off, likely leading to his fear, and that his aggression was likely the result of over-breeding.

I'm sad to say that we weren't able to keep the puppy we fell in love with because he was considered a threat to our baby and I regret that we ever supported the Amish puppy-mill. I was completely clueless and didn't know the Amish was known for this, but learned afterwards they are. I kept checking Greenfield Puppies and David continuously had "miniature Australian Shepherd puppies" available meaning the poor female dog was being used repeatedly. When we called the "breeder" he told us he couldn't give us our money back and I tried to report him to Greenfield Puppies, but wasn't able to get through to someone. I regret so much contributing to this horrible business and for the sad life of the dogs involved. DO NOT buy from the Amish and do not use Greenfield Puppies, rescue a puppy and put an end to this abusive business.

It's been over 4 years since we found our dogs through Greenfield, and we have wonderful, healthy dogs. Yes, I was skeptical as Lancaster area gets a bad rap, but like everything else, you usually only hear about the bad news. This is good news, the folks were great to deal with and we have the best dogs ever.
