What is CarePlus?
CarePlus by Chewy offers pet wellness plans and pet insurance for accidents and illnesses. At the time of publishing, prices start below $20 per month. Wellness plans cover annual checkups, vaccines and flea, tick and heartworm medication. Insurance plans cover care for accidents and emergency care, illnesses, chronic conditions, and prescription medication and supplements. Both plans give you access to telehealth services seven days a week from licensed vets.
Chewy offers CarePlus plans through Chewy Insurance Services, its insurance agency. American Pet Insurance Company (APIC) underwrites the plans, collects monthly premiums and pays claims, while Trupanion administers the policies and manages claims on APIC’s behalf.

This is not an insurance plan. It is, at best, a no interest loan. Bought the comprehensive plan for 4 dogs. They did pay out for covered expenses and it was easy to submit claims. However, when I inquired about cancellation you are not able to cancel you til you pay premiums that match what they paid to you. You cancel early and pay them back or keep paying the premiums until the amount paid equals pay out. Extremely deceptive and I asked all the right questions but was never told this. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Just pay your vet bills as with these plans it is only pay now or pay later.
