    Order king size bed. Item has not been shipped in two weeks. After calling 5 times to customer support found out item is not in stock. Worst online experience I have ever had. Never will buy anything else from this company.

    No good. Don't trust them. I should have read the reviews first. I have been lied to by three different people in this process which has the delivery extended out well over a 2 month. Now they will not cancel & refund. I have to go through my credit card even though I was warned by Wayfair if I contest the charge they will drag their feet on the refund & I will have to wait 90 days.

    I have had really bad experiences the last 3 times I have ordered from them, I have been a customer for several years. The latest experience I ordered a plastic storage shed, I decided the next day that I didn't want the shed. I canceled my order. I called customer service to verify all was canceled. The representative assured me that it was all taken care of.

    A day later I received a notice that they were preparing it for shipping, so I called customer service again, the representative told me everything was fine, I now have received a notice that it has been shipped, so I called customer service again, now they are telling me I have to take delivery and then set up a return shipment, they have now charged my credit card. I canceled on 02/17/2023 and today is 02/25/2023. It is my understanding that you have 3 business days to cancel a purchase. Wayfair has never shipped this fast ever. Their representatives out and out lie to you, they treat good customers poorly and have no regard for any stress or inconvenience they cause with their Shady practices. I am done with this company and never will use them again. I am calling Citibank on Monday and hopefully they will be better, but as of now I am refusing the shipment/return to sender. Will give an update later.

    I purchased a rug from Wayfair for $120 after reviewing the return policy and believing I could send it back if I didn't like it. Well, I didn't like it and decided to send it back. I went to their website to get the process going and print a return label, and guess what? It cost $55 to return it! Or I could keep it and receive 20% off - $23 back on my credit card. Unless you're 100% certain you'll like and keep your purchase, be sure you're clear on what it will cost you to send something back before you buy it. Their return policy is not clear or transparent.

    Again, with Wayfair I placed an order with them, and the item was never shipped by their vendor. This is becoming more and more common with Wayfair and when you call to get a refund they refuse to issue the refund telling the customer that all refunds have to be approved by their accounting group and that approval could take weeks to happen. This time it involves $143.00. I contacted customer service and they told me that the shipment is sitting in a warehouse in Virginia waiting for UPS and that the vendor has been waiting for UPS to come but they never pick up the package. UPS advised me that the tracking number can be issued but the vendor has to notify UPS that they have a pickup. Wayfair has done this to me 3 times this year. I know if they do this to customers why would you buy more? I won't buy from Wayfair because of their deceptive sales practices and inability to hold their vendors accountable.

    I would strongly advise anyone not to purchase from Wayfair. I ordered the Andover Mills Hults Murphy Bed in November of 2022. The cabinet to house the murphy bed was delivered the day before New Year's Eve. However, they did not deliver the wall bed mechanism (the thing that counts) with the cabinet that houses the bed when it is folded up. I contacted customer service to ask for the parts kit for the mechanism, detailing that the ad stated it would come with the mechanism, the owner's manual discusses how to build the mechanism. Was initially told they would send the mechanism right away.

    A few days later, I was told that the mechanism was sold separately, and that the mechanism happened to cost 150% more than the unit ordered. I asserted time and time again that the ad and the manual were both definitive evidence that the mechanism was supposed to be sent. After a few days, I begrudgingly ordered the parts since the cabinet had been built and attached to the studs in the bedroom and I just wanted it to be finished so my wife could use that room, which was the spare bedroom and her office. But I distinctly noted to the customer service rep that my buying the parts was not an indication that I would give up my rights to seek legal remedy and post negative reviews (which I am doing with this post).

    I contact several attorneys that have dealt with class action suits against Wayfair before (seems they may have a history of this sort of thing). One attorney contacts me and basically tells me that many people are complaining about the exact thing I am and that they would contact me in the future about a potential class action and/or arbitration representation. About two weeks later, as the wall mechanism is scheduled to be delivered in a few days, customer service contacts me saying they will send the mechanism for free.

    I inform them that I paid $1000+ for the mechanism already and if they could just let me get the one slated to arrive in a couple of days and reimburse me rather than starting the process all over again. They did not allow this. Instead, they canceled the order, charging me a $150 restocking fee. It is now February, autumn has turned to winter, and three months later I have a completed murphy bed but am out $150 restocking fee for their egregious mistake that I imagine they were harassed by attorneys left and right for. Do yourself a massive favor and do not order from Wayfair. It is my personal opinion that they have stolen $150 from me and it could happen to you too with no real means of recourse.

    Hi, I got extremely worst service from Wayfair and looking for someone to help me sue this company as they literally wasted my whole day waiting for the damaged TV stand pickup and giving me another day to reschedule as per their choice (Thursday, Saturday, and Monday). I have bought a free product from them and have to follow them. I paid a huge amount for the TV stand (Order Number: ** with the amount of $1,439.43) and they are driving me through how to return the product.

    The day one I received a fully damaged TV stand and reported the same to customer services with video, and pictures and explained the pickup at the earliest. Now, on the day of the pickup, I got the message that they will visit and pick up the damaged TV stand and after waiting for the whole day, no one showed up. I wasted my whole public holiday waiting for them at home and didn't go anywhere, nor bought groceries for the home and kids. This is really frustrating and hence I am providing real feedback with the order number. I personally suggest don't buy the equipment from these online retailers till they take serious action on their mistakes. Please help me with how to take legal action against this company while giving me mental torture and wasting the whole day. Thanks.

I wasn't on any other sites so I have to think that the email I shared with Wayfair was sold/used/hacked. This has made me very hesitant to go on their site again to purchase anything.

    I ordered Samsung Bespoke refrigerator on Dec. 15th. 2022 and paid a full amount on Jan. 11th. 2023. Estimated delivery time was Dec. 28th. 2022 at that time but it was delayed two times and now current estimated delivery time is after Apr. 26th. 2023. I have to move a new house without refrigerator on Feb. 25th. 2023. I have to stay there without refrigerator for 2 months. So I called Wayfair to request replacing item because they sell the same item on their website with estimated time Mar. 3. 2023. But they told me regarding cancellation only. They were no longer willing to take responsibility for this matter. And we did not take any responsibility for the credit card interest accrued on the amount paid in advance.

    I think because I ordered as a sale item during the Christmas sale, so delivery time is different from what they're selling the same product now. Even so, if it takes 4-5 months to receive the product, or if the delivery is delayed again, I'm worried that I might receive it on Independence Day. I am very disappointed with Wayfair and Samsung for passing the blame. Wayfair, which formally informs you of the phrase low price and fast delivery, and Samsung's behavior, which delivers later if the product is cheap, should be immediately understood.

    Bought an upholstered bench for my daughter in law for Xmas. They have used it for a month and the fabric is ripping in three places along the seams. They called Wayfair and Wayfair refuses to stand by their product. Furniture should not self destruct in a month's time. Wayfair is hiding behind their 30 day return policy. Bad news since I ordered it a month before Christmas and didn't gift it until mid January. I understand the company is under financial trouble resulting in huge layoffs but if they want to survive at all, this is not the way to do it. I'll never order anything from them again.

    I was looking for a good easy to put together guest bed. It was neither. The bed sags in the middle. A nut is missing. Two of the parts are the wrong size. The bed is unusable. I'm very disappointed. I would not recommend this company to anyone. On the positive side the site is easy to use and the bed did arrive quickly.

    The delivery for my armchair was supposed to take no longer than a week. After it did not arrive on time, I thought it was weird that I had no communication from Wayfair. I then went to the website to check the status, which did not change for days. After checking for a full week, the status changed to backordered – I would be getting the chair over a month after ordering it. When I contacted customer service, they had no explanation for the lack of communication, offered no resolution, and WORSE: the chair was still listed on the website, with 5 day delivery window. This is extremely shady business.

    They know the order is out of stock, but keep the listing up knowing that they cannot fulfill the order on time. After chatting with an agent, I caught her on a lie–the listing was STILL available with unrealistic dates. I had been tracking the product listing, and they kept adding it to the website, changing color availability, changing delivery estimates, etc. I do not trust wayfair, and did NOT feel valued as a customer, as I was never offered my money back, a resolution, or a plausible excuse for the shady practices. Do not buy with Wayfair.

    Watch out with Wayfair cancelling your orders under your nose with no explanations. Quality-wise, they aren't the best. Almost all the furnitures we ordered have something broken in them. I wouldn't trust Wayfair.

    I ordered dining room chairs and a kitchen cart and paid through Wayfair for Handy to assemble. Issue #1 Dining chairs came with the wrong legs and Wayfair wouldn't correct that day. Told the outsourced company wants to handle it and they will email me tomorrow or the next day. Not acceptable! Their issue with the supplier. They should arrange to have correct items sent out today. We just moved and have no chairs for eating. Issue #2 When I placed my order I added the assembly cost. For one, the website does not say this is an outsourced service. During purchasing I chose a date and time range for assembly. I got an email from Handy to with a different date and time. I was able to download the Handy app and change it. THEN, the technician texted me the day of asking if I could change the date to the next day because she had other jobs in my area. I agreed even though my husband had stayed home from work to meet her.

    She told me to contact Handy (gave me a number to call) and tell them the time had been changed. When I called them they said they couldn't change the date/time in the system but if the technician and I had worked it out, okay. Well, guess what. My husband stayed home from work again and she never showed up. Two hours after the expected time, I texted the number she had contacted me on twice to ask why she hadn't shown up. No response. I then called Wayfair--remember I purchased directly from them--and was told they couldn't refund my cost and I would have to contact Handy for a refund. SO, I called Handy and they told me since the computer showed the installation had already happened, they would have to process the refund and could only refund in the form of a check which would take approximately 5 weeks to go out.

    Bottom line, Wayfair outsources everything! And, if the price is much less than you find elsewhere, the products and customer service are why! I wish I had spent a little more for better quality, actually just the correct items and service. So many issues and customer service said on both issues they couldn't correct the issues. My hard learned advice: Buyer beware! Paying less did not pay off.

    I placed an online order. I needed to change the address which I attempted immediately to do. The site would not allow me to. I cancel the order and that did not work. Wayfair would NOT help. They directed me to FedEx. Fed Ex directed me to Wayfair. The package was delivered to the wrong address. Wayfair refuses to file a claim even though I have spent a week trying to correct this. Thank you, Whitney for your lack of support and service. I will never order from Wayfair again. Consumers beware! Pray you do not have any problems or issues because they do not care.

    I purchased outdoor furniture from Wayfair. It was damaged. They offered me $350 or send me a part for second time as I waited 3 months, and it was never sent by accident, I told them I would get back in a few days and if not I would just take the 350, I was never told I would lose this in a year, I actually thought it was still in my account and as I was going to order something I called, but now they refused to give me the credit because I never called within that year, I mean if you owe me $350.00, you own $350.00, there's no way around it. Not sure how companies get away with this greed.

    I purchased a bedroom set from Wayfair in November or 2022. It is now February of 2023 and I have still not received half of my items. The headboard was damaged in shipping and never delivered. The dresser has been "lost" twice. I can't return the items I did receive because they are too heavy for me to ship. The expense would be mine and I have no boxes large enough to send 150 pound nightstands. The experience has been horrible! I have had many broken promises and deadlines come and go with no bed or dresser delivered. Payment was made in full in November! Save yourself the frustration and expense, shop elsewhere!

    I use Paypal to make sure websites use the proper shipping address. Otherwise, I could just use a credit card. Well, I moved recently and ordered something from Wayfair. They used the address on file instead of the Paypal address. Now the package is sitting at my old address. Fedex won't pick it up unless Wayfair sends a call tag and Wayfair refuses to send a call tag. So they send it to the wrong address, and then they won't send a call tag. They just lost a customer and I will tell everyone I can how they did me wrong. Including any website where I can post a review.

    I placed an order over the phone and asked specifically about their price adjustment policy if the price drops. The sales rep said if the price dropped within 2 weeks, call customer service and request a price adjustment. Two days later, before my item even shipped, the price dropped $60. I called customer service, they adjusted the price. Later I checked my debit card charges and saw that they billed me two times. The adjusted price they had agreed to and another charge of $60 (they amount they had adjusted off). I called today and they said they can’t do price adjustments on sales so they put that charge back on. They were not willing to refund that charge even though two employees previously had said they would.

    I ordered a Mcquaid 15" bed skirt and Wayfair mailed a South Shore bed skirt which measured at 14" and an inferior product. The product they sent was $13.00 less than what I purchased and order. My invoice confirmed that I was billed for the more expensive bed skirt. They did not ask me or acknowledge that they were sending a different item. Today, I requested that they send me the product that I ordered and have not heard back from them yet. I just wonder how many people get a similar inferior product without realizing it. I will not be ordering from them again.

    Ordered a vanity on Perigold (sister site), and days later order was cancelled. That happened twice with no notification why, which delayed our project over a week. They couldn't provide any support on the vanity we wanted and offered a 10% discount on the size larger that was 50% more expensive and would require making other changes to the bathroom to accommodate. I was willing to make updates to the bathroom, but asked for more than 10% discount to offset the added cost, delays, and my extra labor caused by their error. They would not do more. Weak customer service. The extra couple hundred dollars isn't the end of the world for our budget, but is a red flag for future issues. I'll go somewhere else.

    I purchased a television stand two weeks ago for over $1400. Today I noted the price had dropped to $899.99. I contacted Wayfair and am told it was out of the time frame for them to do anything to refund the difference. Since this was a large purchase, and I have been a long time customer, I would think it better for them to keep a customer than refund the difference. Their choice was to lose the customer. Which they did.

    I purchased Deina 42” Single Bathroom Vanity on wayfair.com. The item arrived with cracked sink and several very large, cracks in the marble countertop. The vanity was not removed from the crated box, so I am unsure if there is additional damage to the vanity base itself. I contacted the merchant several times by phone in July 2022, and then via their online data form August 2022 when I didn't hear back, via phone again in October 2022 and online data form to check on the status my inquiries in July and August.

    There was no response to my requests and when I finally spoke to a representative in October, I was told I could not return or exchange the damaged product because it was outside their return window. (I was never informed about the damaged item policy nor was the time limit to return a damaged product noted on my receipt. After digging through their website, I was able to find their return policy but that was after the item arrived damaged while I was waiting for a call back from Wayfair for resolution.)

    I have been a customer of Wayfair for over 3 years and have spent at least $35,000 during this time for a newly constructed home. I am no stranger to this multi-million-dollar company, and I was under the impression that while I made efforts to request assistance, they would ultimately provide a resolution but instead they strung me along and then told me too bad, nothing could be done due to the time lapse. At this point, I would like the damaged item to be returned, removed from my garage and receive a full refund. BUYER BEWARE... This company does not value customers and only cares about making money by selling items that are damaged. What am I going to do with a damaged vanity?? A FULL REFUND IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!

    I placed an order that was to be delivered by February 7th. On the 7th it had still not shipped. NO communication at all. I went on the site and it showed that I might receive on the 13th. This was an item I needed and a follow-up would have been appreciated. I will be sure and share my experience with as many people as possible.

    I'm very disappointed with Wayfair. After I paid the invoice, price is dropped next day. I can not get price adjustment about $60. I should have right to get my price adjustment. Every company offers price adjustment other than Wayfair. I won't buy anything from Wayfair anymore.

    I received an email from Wayfair thanking me for an order for something I did not order. I called Wayfair and told them I did not order the product. It was showing shipping to some address I have never heard of. They cancelled the order but never gave me a refund. I called them and they told me to get the charge removed I had to dispute the charge on my credit card and then they would not reply to the dispute so it would be removed as a charge on my credit card. This was the only way for me to get a refund. My credit card company did it but now they are having to send me a new card. Now I have to go to all of the places where I have direct charges to my credit card setup which is a lot because this is my business credit card. This is a VERY POOR way to do business.

    Ordered a sofa online which was confirmed in an email. But online capture of the order was totally different (color and size). Noticed after a couple of hours and called and Victoria allegedly was taking care of it. But later, the online still showed wrong details so I chatted with Jodie D. who acknowledged it was wrong but would not do anything - I have to call again (3rd time contact) to get it cancel.     Ordered a Toilet seat from Wayfair on a Sunday, canceled the order in 90 minutes because it was the wrong size. Received an email stating the process was pending. 2 days later I was told the cancelation order was denied, just enough time to charge my credit card, And the return policy takes up to 2 weeks charging over 50% of the total amount back to the order, I am getting 21.00 back on a 43.00 total price. This is at the very least designed to create a hardship on the consumer and I believe an unethical business practice knowing full well that a certain % of people will not send the order back or choose 20% less discounted store credit. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE COMPLETELY SURE IT IS WHAT YOU WANT. THE RETURN POLICY IS HORRIBLE!

    I purchased my first king-size bed and bedframe from Wayfair. They advertised the bedframe with a two night stands next to it so it could look normal height. However, after the assembler showed up a day earlier to put my frame together with only a 9-minute text message to prepare. The assembler was nice so it may it work for me although I had to rush to move things out of his way. After the assembler put my bed together it was as if I purchased a king-sized bed for my granddaughter who is a toddler. The height of the bed is just awful. I am in my early fifties and dropping to a toddler's height to climb into bed is just not what I wanted to be doing in my early fifties. The assembler said most of the finished jobs he has completed customers complained about the how low the beds and how deceptive it is in the advertisement. Wayfair you are a scam company!

    Ordered an upholstered headboard through Wayfair. They only delivered sideboards. I didn't order a whole bed so sideboards were of zero use. They refuse to pick up or pay to dispose of the large heavy order. Customer service told me it's my responsibility to pay to dispose of something they sent me that I didn't order. Worst service ever. Filed a complaint with BBB.

    Bought the electric fireplace/tv stand, the fireplace quit working. I’ve had this for 6 months and the warranty and the insert is 1 year but sorry they don’t have it! This is false advertising, claiming a warranty that you can’t fulfill. I’ve been a customer of wayside for a while, but I’m done!

    Wayfair listed an item at 40% off, I ordered 8 of said item. Five days later I received an email that the order had been cancelled "on my request". I opened a chat with customer service and the rep said they had made an error on the price and couldn't honor the order. The "wrong price" had been up for over a week and they didn't catch it. They refused to honor their pricing and did not apologize for the inconvenience, nor did they offer any coupons or discounts for the inconvenience. This same had item had been on sale at another store (lesser discount) and I missed out on buying the item from that store because Wayfair had accepted my order.

    I ordered a bathroom shelf on 1/13/2023 with a delivery date of 1/15/2023. Item never arrived. When I inquired about it through Customer Service a week later, they informed me that the item was waiting to be shipped and should be picked up that day. A week later I still had not received the item. I again called Customer Service to cancel the order and I was told that they could not issue me a refund because the item was waiting to be picked up by the carrier. No one even bothered to check to see if the item was lost somewhere. I will never order from this company again.

    We just want to let people know that if want to order from Wayfair be careful. We had our delivery scheduled for a couch and loveseat on January 10th. I took the day off work and waited 12hrs for delivery as that was the delivery window. No call, email or text. Straight no-show. Then I received a message on January 17th saying the delivery would be January 18. With the short notice I called and asked for a later date. Was told they could deliver on January 20th. Called for verification and was told it was moved to January 22nd. I contacted Wayfair and tried to get a new confirmation date and they canceled our order. That was after offering us a 15% discount for our inconvenience. Then they only returned the original price causing us to lose a discount of over $500. Customer service said I canceled the order which is total a lie. All we wanted was a confirmation of delivery. Will never order or recommend Wayfair to anyone. They are crooks.

    I paid for three items. 2 came in damaged, did everything they asked and then wanted me to return the items, then if they feel the items are that bad even after pictures sent they might return my money, then they said if I get the refund I can repurchase them. Now they are on sale as well and wouldn't even offer me the sale price, I will never ever buy from Wayfair again, purchased a desk for over $600 and it's a piece of friggin garbage.

    I originally contacted Wayfair the day my sofa came in because one of the latches was defective. I had to fix it. They “credited” 174$ that I have not received yet. Not sure if it takes a few days to appear in my account which I’ll have to monitor. But, I also contacted because I was very unhappy with the comfortability of the sofa. In the pictures it appears like a large sectional & very comfortable but in person it’s not large nor is it comfortable, it’s the most uncomfortable couch I’ve sat on! I kept it not even a day. I just couldn’t bear! I contacted originally one person was like all they can do is give me 374$ when the couch was 704$ because they credited me, I explained the credit was for a defective item and that shouldn’t affect my refund total. I wasn’t happy so I asked for a supervisor, supervisor tells me the return charge is 159$ and to arrange for pickup it’s an extra but she would “waive” it. But, I still had to pay the “159$” but once again avoiding my total refund.

    She said I would receive the remaining of my total because of the credited defective item. So I am only being refunded 528$, I explained this isn’t right because I paid 704$ for a sofa that came defective on top of the fact I wasn’t happy with it. How is that right that I do not receive the full 704$? Why should a credited for a defective piece affect my total?? Then I was told I was going to receive a 10% discount. I haven’t received that neither. I just feel like I am returning a sofa that’s brand new I didn’t like. All I get is half of what I spent??? I have been buying from wayfair for a long time but after this experience I don’t think I can support because as a customer I feel robbed.

    I'm a business customer and placed a large order of several furniture items with Wayfair. Many of the items arrived damaged or defective. I contacted Support and was told a team member would get back with me within 24 hours to help me. Five days later, I finally heard from someone at Wayfair, and they wanted me to box up the large furniture items and ship them back. By this point, I had given up on receiving a response from Wayfair and repaired the items myself, so I asked for a discount instead. They agreed to a 5% discount (you read that right — 5%). Not impressed at all. I'll be looking for a different vendor that's more responsive and who can deliver items in good condition.

    I have bought several pieces of furniture from Wayfair.

    1. I bought a washer and dryer combo. Instead of getting that I received a twin tub washer. I called and let them know. I had to pay the shipping fee for it to be returned.
    2. I bought a lift top coffee table, and it was damaged and some of the hardware was not there. I called to let them know instead of having me return it they sent me another one.
    3. I bought a dresser from them and again it was damaged and most of the hardware was not there. We managed to get it together. I went to open the drawer last week and the front part of the top dresser door fell off and the hardware had fallen off, the same thing is happening to the rest of the dresser drawers.

    4. I bought myself a matching nightstand and I am just waiting for something to happen with that.

    Wayfair does not back up their warranty and refund. Personally, they should give everyone that has ordered from them the full amount they had paid for it. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM BOTH WAYFAIR & OVERSTOCK. THEY are scamming and ripping people off.

    Hello, I purchased a Bathroom Vanity from Fairway Canada, and they confirmed deliver of Jan.9/23, b/w 1-5 p.m. So we took the afternoon off and waited for the delivery. We received texts throughout day, providing status of the delivery. We then received a text stating that they were going to be late, and then another text telling us that they were now 10 minutes away (fine, no issue here). We then received a message around 6:00 p.m. telling us that they were no longer able to deliver that night. I called Customer Support and argued with them. During our argument, the lady slammed the phone in my face. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR. We then called back and were told that there were no delivery dates available, NOT Tuesday NOR or Wednesday, and we would now have to wait until Thursday to have this delivered. They stated that Transport Canada will not allow their trucks on the road after a certain amount of hours.

    Their drivers texted and said they couldn't deliver, because their truck broke down??? What a clown-show, The 2nd c/s rep., then told us that if we were not happy with this purchase, we can gladly return it, at our cost. We have to pay shipping/handling. Has anyone returned a heavy item before (by courier), well I have!! I tried to return a Home Printer, which was nowhere as heavy as the Vanity, and the the courier charge, was almost as much as the printer, itself. This is a little trick that Wayfair employs, when you are unhappy with them, and want to return the item. Absolutely deplorable! DO NOT buy from this online retailer. Do your homework and read all the "REAL" reviews, skip the fake ones on their sites!!!!

    I order a mattress 3 weeks ago during Boxing Day Sale. Paid for the order, paid extra shipping fees (despite their misleading advertisement claiming free shipping for orders over $50). After 3 weeks got their email stating my order has been cancelled and monies will be refunded!! You guys have ruined my boxing day. Had I have any idea about your business, I would have gone for some other business for my shopping. It's just a cancellation for you guys, but for me I am losing almost $400 as I will end up paying full price for the mattress. Pathetic service, misleading advertising and zero customer care: this must be the tag line for your business.

    Bought an item through Wayfair and after receiving the product was disappointed with what I purchased. To return the item the shipping cost was 50% of the price I bought the item for. Even after making multiple requests to give me options to return without such high shipping costs nothing was done. I have been shopping with them for almost 3-4 years now. This experience with them not being considerate on returning the item has left me really disappointed with their service. I will not be buying any more items from them.

    My whole thing about any company is that if they happen to mess up, they fairly and rightfully fix the problem with some effort. Wayfair does no such thing. Looking back, I bought a beautiful velvet couch for a bit over 500. It now sells for a bit over 900. The back side of this couch busted out about 6 mo. in. It is hollow as heck. I let it go because I previously bought a couch that was unbelievably hard as heck and shipped that crapola back, paying for the 150 charges. I also tried to purchase a duvet. It was blue and white. Instead of the duvet I ordered, I got a hot pink and purple duvet. This happened twice! The same damn pink & purple. I returned it.

    However, four months passed and they have not sent me my refund. They have so much inventory that they could care less about these issues, obviously. I know that there are 5 stars reviews, but just wait for your furniture to go kablammy. 1.09/5 stars for WAYFAIR on BBB. When are they going to listen and be upright and smart in how they handle issues? Or is this a 1st world complaint that comes with a skin rash and therapy?

    On December 13, 2022 we ordered a Frigidaire Electric Range from Wayfair with an expected delivery date of December 29. As the delivery date came and went with neither a stove nor a notification we logged into our account and were surprised to see that our purchase had not even shipped yet. Contacted Wayfair and was informed that the new delivery date would be January 4. We were frustrated of course but understood that with the holidays and the general supply chain issues delays will happen.

    Well, January 4 approaches and after waiting patiently all day... no stove...no notification...again. The new delivery date is January 5. Another delay but what's one more day, right? So I park myself at home excitedly on Thursday, January 5 waiting for my Frigidaire Electric Range that will be arriving today. So did my stove arrive today when it was supposed to? At this point, it's a rhetorical question. The new supposed delivery date has changed again to January 12. I call Wayfair to inquire as to why a purchase can be supposedly shipped on December 29 and yet not be delivered until January 12 and if they will actually honor this delivery date this time.

    It gets worse. My purchase was only shipped to the GE warehouse on December 29. It's not actually on a truck yet. Furthermore, the January 12 date is not actually when I receive my stove. It's the ESTIMATED date for when the DELIVERY AGENT receives the stove. *If* they get the stove on that date, they'll contact me to set up a delivery date. Nope. I'm done. I kindly ask for a cancellation of the order and a full refund. The Wayfair agent agrees to the cancellation and refund except I'm now apparently responsible for the delivery fee of $140. How does that make sense? The item was only shipped to the GE warehouse from the manufacturer and, most importantly, the delivery issues and delays are GE/Wayfair's fault. I'm the stove-less victim here.

    Unfortunately Wayfair wouldn't budge. My experience with Wayfair? I purchased a month of frustration and boring days waiting for a delivery that never came for $140. Buyer beware; There's a good chance your purchase from Wayfair will be delayed multiple times and if you cancel there's a 100% chance you will be charged the delivery fee (Wayfair policy according to the agent). AVOID THIS COMPANY!

    I ordered a large desk and paid for full assembly in my home. The delivery drivers assembled the desk, left and only then did I realize they left a part off. Wayfair sent me the part but it was then that I learned that the drivers had assembled the desk incorrectly and I could not put the new part on the desk without disassembling the entire piece of furniture.

    I contacted Wayfair again and their response, after two months of back and forth with reps who refused to pay attention to details of my issue, was that Wayfair noted they couldn't send the delivery team out again because their schedule is too busy and they'll just refund me the assembly fee or I could return the entire item. Because I paid for assembly in my home, I have no box, nothing to take the desk apart with or any way to send the desk back to Wayfair, so the return is not an option. Wayfair refused to compensate me for anything else and now I have a desk that is put together incorrectly and may likely break in the future and all I'm getting back is 139 assembly fee for a 3500 desk. Shop elsewhere - Wayfair could care less about its customers.

    Wayfair is an extremely untruthful company and totally misleads their customers. I purchased a console table and noted after purchase that it would arrive too late. I went to cancel the order the NEXT day and it stated the order couldn't be cancelled as it was 'preparing for shipment'. I called the company and they told me simply to just refuse the delivery, thereby cancelling the order before it is delivered. I also received an email stating to do the same thing as it couldn't be cancelled online.

    However, when I spoke with the executive solutions team, they are stating the item cannot be cancelled or returned. I clarified that nowhere on the order or the site does it indicate that item cannot be cancelled. I even sent screenshots of their site proving that nowhere on the sales page or the checkout does it state the item cannot be returned or cancelled. After several exchanges, they still will not refund my purchase price, even though I still have not received the item. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card and also taking this company to small claims court. I will also report them to the BBB and file a formal complaint. This company should not be able to mislead customers with misinformation on their website. Horrible, horrible company.

    They showed a sectional with a lower price, you click on it, it says that color is out of stock, then the other ones that are in stock price is much higher, most people won't notice at all, and then when you realize it it's too late and you have been taken advantage of.     Bought platform bed with 2 draws in November. Slats so thin and cheap including "feet" that sit on floor. My daughter was sound asleep and the whole bed collapsed in trapping her head between the collapsed mattress and the headboard. Upon review the slats broke. The pegs that sit on the floor all cracked and broke. We weigh no more than 150 lbs. This is full size platform ADULT bed with 2 end draws cost 450.00. Wayfair will not do return so bed lasted approx. 30 days and I'm out 450.00. They should not be selling such poor quality that can cause injury. I will pursue this with my State Attorney General.

    I ordered a TV stand as a Christmas gift for my father. It was a steal of an item discounted to cost me $76 and change. I was very happy and excited about this purchase as it was affordable and beautiful! To my dismay the item was delivered to the wrong address. A photo was confined by UPS. I followed up, and a customer service agent said a new one would be sent to me. Weeks later I called in again to find out that the item was cancelled as they were out of stock.

    No one called to tell me this. So I simply asked if another comparable item could be offered at the same price seeing as how this was not my error. The best they could offer me was a 25% discount off the same item in a different colour. Which I might add would now be costing me over $300. How ridiculous.

    The agent continued to tell me that she couldn’t do more because the item I ordered was discontinued. Yet unwilling to satisfy a customer with the same item in a different colour at the same cost. Well I won’t be shopping with Wayfair any longer. Buyers should be aware that this company is unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes. Unfortunately my father will go without his gift because I cannot afford to buy him something comparable. I guess the deal was actually too good to be true. I’ll stick with more reliable companies in the future.

    First time shopping on Wayfair. Bought two pet beds. One shipped on time, the other delayed 2 weeks beyond the estimated delivery window. I no longer need the 2nd one since it is way late and missed Christmas. When I called customer service and requested a free return label due to the material delay, I was given a bunch of BS stating that the estimated delivery window is only an estimate. I understand it's an estimate, but not 2 week overdue. I have to escalate it to the supervisor, who still argued with me about the 'estimated' return window. In the end, I did get a free return label. But given the amount of time I spent with Care and got so frustrated, it's just not worth it. It's cheap for a reason, and you get what you pay. It's my first Wayfair experience, and also the last.

    I purchased an expensive chair from Wayfair in January 2022. It was missing hardware, so they replaced the chair. The replacement had grease stains, so they gave me a partial refund. Less than a year later, one of the legs completely split - an obvious manufacturer's defect - and Wayfair refuses to send a replacement leg since it's beyond 30 days after I ordered it. Instead of doing the right thing and sending me a replacement leg, the "executive resolution" team manager recommended I buy the 90-day extended manufacturer's warranty in the future. As if I'll ever order from Wayfair again! Never mind that it's beyond 90 days, so I'm sure buying the extended warranty wouldn't have helped anyway. Now nobody will return my emails or calls.

    I ordered a bookcase from them Oct. 25th; after that I was sent e-mails telling me the delivery date - problem was the date kept being pushed back! Every time this happened I called their helpline, and was told different things by each agent - finally it seemed to be established that the item had been "lost in transit". As weeks went by and the date of delivery kept being pushed further I finally cancelled the order and talked to a "service representative (or something)" who told me the item had never left the manufacturer!

    I figured this kind of mess couldn't occur twice, so I foolishly ordered a different book case (I was given a 10% for the first fiasco). Within a few weeks I was sent an e-mail in the A.M. telling me the item was to be delivered the next day (I live in Toronto, and apparently the book case was in Mississauga, half an hour way). Then that aft. I got another e-mail reading that the book case had been "damaged in transit"! The second order was cancelled, and I have learned a lesson: AVOID these people - they lie to you and they are both corrupt and incompetent.

    I cannot begin to tell you how disappointing my last few interactions with Wayfair have been! They used to be very concerned with customer service, but the more they grow, the less they care. The last straw for me was one of my more recent purchases... I ordered a set of 2 chairs on October 18 with an estimated delivery day of Oct 22. I received an email that the chairs were on Backorder with an estimated delivery date of Dec 7. December 7th came and went and still no chair or notification. I called and spoke to someone who said that they would look into it and get back to me... Days went by and I finally had to reach out again. When I finally spoke to a Wayfair employee, they assured me that they would get to the bottom of it. She informed me that although I had ordered a set of 2 chairs, the price I paid was for one. Mind you, the price I paid was the price on Wayfair! She informed me that the price difference from what I paid was over $1000...

    Well, the set of 2 chairs (since my purchase to date) have ranged from $500-$572... I paid $283, so clearly not anywhere close to a difference of $1000. I called and left a voicemail and an email with Amy **, the representative who had called and emailed me this incorrect information. After 6 days with no response by phone or email, I sent another email. This time, I received an email from Latasha W, stating the same incorrect information and that they were going to cancel my order (the one I have been waiting for for over 2 months). So once again I called and this time I was put in contact with a supervisor, Elizabeth, and she told me that Wayfair has the right to cancel any order regardless if it is their fault or not and that they would give me 15% off the chairs, which does not even cover how much they have gone up with the 'correct' price since after my purchase.

    I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with Wayfair as well as sending several clients to them each year...not anymore. Wayfair's obvious lack of concern or willingness to make things right will have me taking my business to someplace that actually values my business. This is sadly just one example of many disappointing experiences with Wayfair as of late.

    I ordered a couch that was delivered on a scheduled day (2 pieces). On the delivery day, only one piece arrived, and was told by C/S that the other piece was delayed by the supplier. Had I known that I would have refused the delivery but now I am stuck with half a couch in a huge box still waiting for them to pick it up since the order was canceled. Customer service manager Tony or Toni (I don't want to offend gender neutrality) told us the pick up was Tuesday and customer service told us it was Wednesday, [sic]"...they think".     Today (December 16, 2022) between 10AM and 2PM I was supposed to receive delivery #** which was a sectional. This was the second time delivery on this order was attempted, as the first time (December 14th, 2022) I was informed by Wayfair customer service upon calling them that it was queued out due to lack of space in the truck. A second attempt was made today and the driver/delivery person drove off from the loading zone without communicating with me (refusing to respond to me and ignoring me) as I was standing there asking him questions. He got out of the truck and told me that he just wasn't going to park in the loading zone I showed him to. I was advised by this particular delivery person that he was told by a random driver in the parking lot that he could not park there; however, the building manager told him that he could most definitely park in the loading zone.

    The delivery person ignored both the building manager's directions and my questions and proceeded to drive off based on the advice of a random driver who happened to be parked in front of the building for less than five minutes. Not only that, but the delivery person lied to the customer service person that I was on the phone with at the time, telling the CS person that he had attempted to deliver this product twice or three times. This is such a blatant lie that I had to ask the CS person whether the delivery man was new on the job-surely he was confused as to what "attempted" means.

    I decided to cancel the order due to the delivery person's utter lack of professionalism and the recent ongoing issues with Wayfair. I even told the driver that it would be too inconvenient for them to keep attempting a delivery that they just didn't plan on ever actually making, so he should at least try to use the unloading zone the building manager showed him but he just left me standing there without any response as he got in the truck and drove off.     First a nice big box was left in front of my front door, on the ground with 3 steps up to the door. Eighty pounds of big box. Gee, just my age also. But did get it inside only to discover it was a "kit". Where's the chair? Where's the ottoman? Many, many pieces. This is not a good thing, this is lousy. Fifteen trips to carry the pieces upstairs and two hours for a neighbor to do it together. I would not buy a piece of paper from this company, May you rot in hell.

    I hate this place, I purchased a message chair. Not only was the box damaged the product was damaged as well, I could see from my home camera that the delivery person dropped the box on the ground, so I called Wayfair and was told that someone would call me in 24 hrs. Well I heard nothing, I was told that a return label would be created. Once again I received nothing, Not only did it take me sometime to receive this product it came in damaged. Now I'm being told I have to find a box to ship this product back in, The inconvenience just keeps coming, This place has been a nightmare to do business with.     Ordered a GermGuardian for my parents. Dec 3. It was set to be delivered Dec 8. I reached out to support the 7th or 8th as the website still has it marked as preparing to ship. He told me that it would be shipped shortly. I just contacted support 12/11 and was informed it was delivered by FedEx. it was delivered with a photo for proof, but it was not delivered to my house and that is not a photo of my porch. Wayfair's website STILL has it marked as preparing to ship. So even the Wayfair agent I chatted with last week wasn't aware it had been shipped and set to delivered or was already delivered. Now I have to go searching for the oddly tiled porch in the picture, knocking on people's doors about a package that was delivered days ago.     Wayfair sells third party products and doesn't care if those products are terrible quality. They don't help buyers recover losses from defective products. It's irresponsible and not at all customer focused. They've also "invented" manufacturers that don't actually exist. For example, Alcott Hill does not exist. It's a fake brand that Wayfair has invented and assigned to some of the crappy third-party products they sell. That's just one example, there are several other "brands" they have invented.

    A couple of years ago, I bought some furniture from Wayfair, along with a $300 Southwestern area rug that boasted it was 100% wool. Over a few month period, I had to fight with customer service people to get at least a partial refund on the area rug because it shed balls of wool as well as spewing wool fibers in the air when it was vacuumed. After Wayfair unwillingly refunded me a partial refund, the area rug continued to shed balls of wool fibers that clogged the vacuum I used which was an excellent vacuum that had always done a very good job of cleaning my carpets.

    I called once again and asked to speak to a supervisor. He forced me to take photographs of the shedded wool fibers and wool balls and email them to him while we were on the phone. He tried to get out of refunding me any money, claiming that anything made of wool was notorious for shedding and offered the excuse that he had a wool shirt that was several years old and continued to shed. I refused to accept that as an excuse and insisted that he refund me the remaining purchase price which he finally did because I was so adamant. Because of some extensive repair work that had to be done in my townhouse, my furniture and the rug had to be moved into storage.

    When the furniture was in place, I instructed the crew who placed it to unroll the area rug and put back down in the living room, forgetting what a piece of garbage it was. Over the course of the next several weeks, the rug continued to shed wool and clogged two vacuums almost to the point where they were rendered useless. I finally hired a handyman to do some other work and he rolled up the area rug and disposed of it for me.

    I also bought quite a bit of furniture from Wayfair, also a big mistake. A dresser I bought had drawers that didn't fit properly and there were gaps between the drawers and the frame of the dresser. I had a corner desk from Wayfair that I purchased for my office and the file drawer in the desk doesn't close all the way and it is not properly fitted into the frame of the desk. Wayfair has proven to be a thorn in my side. I will never ever purchase from them again, preferring instead to go to a reputable furniture store, even though it might prove to be more expensive.

    Wayfair agents will try to misguide you when you request a return. I ordered a bed. When I opened the package then it was missing the hardware. Then they ask me to wait for the manufacturer email and it took them a week to send me a hardware. Once I setup the bed then I found the head side legs were having some issue and it was of so poor quality that it would not bear the load itself.

    After this when I connected with Wayfair then they first let me wait for the manufacturer email again for 24 hours. When it passed 24 hours and no email then I contacted the wayfair again but this they were asking me to wait for 48 hours. When I requested them to contact their manager then they transferred the call. On my surprise she was so rude and unprofessional that I can't imagine that wayfair have such type of customer facing managers. She said this is not the usual way to return. She was not able to provide the specific solution. Asked me to wait for an email from wayfair and that I might need to drop the bed in the box. This is so ridiculous that how can I carry such a big bed to the courier company. She even expressed a doubt on the reason for the return. FYI I am using Wayfair from last few years and it was my first return. They shown the true face when it came to returning an order. Now I will avoid wayfair for sure. Wayfair Order #**.

    I am a master plumber who has installed a multi function shower system bought through Wayfair by a customer, first off the product came missing set screws for handles and the phone number on the manual does not answer calls or return messages, I had to find set screws at a hardware store, now after a few months the cartridge has started leaking and we called Wayfair and they can not provide the name or phone number of the manufacturer of the shower kit nor can they locate or provide the repair parts needed to repair the valve, since it is a shower valve it is roughed in behind the wall so the new beautiful tile job on the shower was has to be demolished to get back into the wall to replace it with a reputable product...this is costing the customer a few thousand dollars more than they had planned to spend and they will be without a shower for the few weeks it takes to coordinate the repairs with myself and the tile company..

    First their prices are overblown. Second, we received broken materials and they never returned the money, making a lot of excuses. We documented and sent photos of the damaged material that we received. The next day we spoke to the first customer representative, who asked me to send pictures and refused to give me a reference number stating that the refund was taken care of and it will go automatically on the same account the payment was made. 3 days later I talk to a second representative and she tells me no, that is untrue, I had to return the broken bulb and the refund was not warranted at all.     We originally decided to update our kitchen glassware, found a qualifying candidate at 40ish dollars. Thinking, at this cost these should be able to take a dishwashing and normal use. We chunked out our various random glassware ranging from 14 years ago to recent years. Random as in, crown royal glasses, higher end whiskey branded glasses, pint glasses, etc. etc. None of those which ever showed wear other than maybe the labeling fading over time as expected.

    Well it hasn't even been 12 months since the purchase, 4/16 glasses either webbed, shattered or just looked to not be safe any further being in use. With black friday weekend recently.. We picked up a 6/6 short and tall glassware for 8 bucks, said what the heck let's get a four pack of mimosas glassware for 8 bucks too. I am sure these at a fraction of the cost are going to outlive us even being cheap and from BB&B. I didn't receive any note back from the manufacturer, Wayfair (maybe I shouldn't have expected it anyway). Though the quality and the extreme cost per worth of my first two purchases, I will refrain from using Wayfair again.

    You will have to PAY for return shipping. I purchased jute rugs and when they arrived they did not look like they appear on the website. I processed the return and learned it would be 50.00 to return two rug runners! They were only 30 inches wide and rolled. (I regularly ship art with insurance for less than this.) I felt I had a valid reason for a return since the rug did not look near the quality of the one in the photo. It was light weight and did not lay flat.     I had been a loyal cust of Wayfair for a while & noticed the deterioration of quality as they tied up with some Chinese products. I bought a sideboard and paid $80 to get it assembled just to notice that it was extremely cheap quality, too tiny for the price, looked like a TV cabinet instead of a sideboard, and requested it be returned for a refund.     Wayfair chooses to ship items in quantities not how they were ordered (you may receive multiple boxes of the same item). You are required to return ship in the same fashion they were received. As a result, you not only have to pay for return shipping (which today seems almost arcane) but also return shipping multiple times over which is NOT disclosed before ordering. There is also no option to self pay.

    Purchased a Crosley accent cabinet because it said SOLID wood. Upon unboxing the item and starting to put it together, it became very apparent that this was not solid wood. I contacted Wayfair and they agreed to take the item back or they discount the item. I did not want the item because we would not have purchased it had we known it was not solid wood. I explained to them that I felt this was very deceptive advertising. They told me if I had read further down into the item details, I would have seen that only parts of the cabinet were solid wood, and that it did state there was particle board. I told them I preferred to return the item. I did ask if they were going to be responsible for the cost to return and they told me no, that it would be deducted from the refund amount they would issue me.

    I told them I thought this was very unfair of them since I would not have purchased the item had I known it was not solid wood, as advertised. Like I said, their stand on it is that I should’ve read deeper into the details to see that not all of the cabinet was solid wood. I will NEVER shop at Wayfair again. This was my first experience and my last with them. The one thing I can say is that the customer service rep that I was visiting with stayed calm and professional.

    We purchased a double sink vanity and it was delivered to our garage. There was no apparent damage to the packaging. Our project did not start when expected, so it sat untouched for several months.     To be honest, when there are no issues with the product it works because you don't have to deal with them. Worst customer service experience ever, in my view purchase from IKEA or Amazon their goods are more reliable and you will have a better experience if there are issues. I purchased a dresser from Wayfair 6 months for just over 300USD. I had it professionally put together, on the outside it looks greats but the bottom of the drawers were falling apart and no way to fix them. So I contacted Wayfair, the only thing they would give me was a voucher. So I ordered another dresser with the service to put it together.

    I originally had scheduled some help to bring the dresser up as I needed it on the 1st floor. I had to cancel because Wayfair could not keep their commitment on delivery. I was not able to get help again until the day before the assembly was to take place. We bring it up and open the box to verify everything is in order and surprise, the dresser's top plank (so high visibility is broken). I cancel the assembly. As it was past service hours I could not contact them until today. Well to report a defect/damage they advise you to contact the manufacturer, the manufacturer advises you to contact Wayfair, as there is nothing they can do. Wayfair says this (things being broken) is what happens when you buy things online, refund will be issue once they receive the goods. So top notch customer service.

    You will see that this is my first time writing a review. I haven't written one in the 41 years I've lived on this earth, but I want other buyers to beware of purchasing from Wayfair and having to deal with their customer service agents. Wayfair sold me a defective cabinet. I needed a center piece replaced. I contacted Wayfair but they demanded that I work directly with the Manufacturer. Long story short, the manufacturer gave me the run around for 2 months and Wayfair kept telling me that I needed to deal with the manufacturer.

    I finally called Wayfair and demanded that they get involved. They first attempted to tell me that they could not help me because I was outside of the 30 day window, even though they refused to assist me at all. After fighting over that, they said there was nothing they could do. That it was between me and the manufacturer, even though the purchase was done through them.

    Only when I contacted Better Business Bureau did they even acknowledge that my contractual agreement was with them and not the manufacturer. They didn't contact me or anything. They simply resent the item but I moved. After a month of fighting through BBB they gave me a refund, but deducted the shipping on the item they shipped to the wrong address!!! Even though I didn't have access to the building and they know that I never received or signed for the item. I had been sending packages to my new home address for 2 months prior, but they simply refused to engage with me. BEWARE OF WAYFAIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS. THEY ARE BULLIES!!!!

They couldn't provide us with any helpful information regarding the vendor or manufacturer. No email address, no website, no name. We don't have a warranty anymore, but we are ready to pay for the parts if needed. They gave us a number in China and sent us to find help there!!! They don't take any responsibility to connect us with the company. I paid 550 $ for the chandelier and 250 $ to install it, and now a year later, I just threw it out. Never buy again with Wayfair!!!

    Exorbitant return shipping costs alert! I purchased 3 window blinds from Wayfair measuring 25" wide, and they arrive in three oblong boxes just big enough enough to hold the shades; the three boxes were taped together. They did not fit properly so I had to send them back, and when I received the refund it was minus a $58.67 shipping fee. I had previously ordered three blinds and also needed to return them, and the return shipping fee at that time (about a month earlier) was $6.87. When I called to ask the amazing difference in the amount, I was told that Wayfair lost their discounted contract with FedEx and the return shipping fees had gone up. "Gone up" is an understatement. So beware if you need to send something back that it will cost you.

    If you want to return something from Wayfair, you need to call them and request a return label; they email you a return label that you must print out and take to FedEx with the product (or they will pick it up at your house). I am not sure if you can return the item yourself via UPS or USPS. And I'm not sure what the difference in cost would be. I wanted people to be aware of the exorbitant return shipping costs on Wayfair products. I will not be using this company again.

    I ordered a gaming chair from Wayfair. Paid almost $300 for the chair and when the chair got to my place it was missing a piece plus the chair didn’t look like the one they advertised online. I also paid for the assembly service as I am a petite woman and can’t assemble a big chair. When they finished assembling the chair the back of the chair didn’t align with the bottom plus it was missing one piece. I contacted Wayfair that told me they would refund me the money and if I didn’t hear from them in two weeks that I could donate the chair. 3 weeks have passed and I was going to take the chair to Goodwill but I decided to contact them another time to make sure. At this point they told me that I would have to return the chair, disassemble the chair and take the heavy chair to the post office in one week or they would charge me again for the money they had returned without never contacting me about.

    The lady called Kimberly apparently a manager even hanged the phone on me. I never experienced worse customer service in my life. Now I will have to pay someone to disassemble this chair and take to the post office for me. Wayfair used to be a good website as I purchased some furniture there in the past and they had great customer service but I won’t be purchasing nothing from this website ever again as they don’t sell what they advertise and could care less about their customers. I wanted to return the chair if they could come and take the chair apart for me the same way they put it together but they don’t care if you get stuck with a chair that is missing one piece plus doesnt look nothing like the chair they advertise on their website. I don’t trust this company anymore and I will make sure I spread the word around among my friends and customers.

    Ordered unit. Realized it was the wrong address. Asked rep to change it. She said it was too late. I said I just placed it! I said then cancel it! Again she said it was too late. Spent four days trying to get it sorted with FedEx. FedEx shipped half the order to the wrong address and half to right address. If Wayfair had done their job in the first place, I wouldn’t have gone through four days of hell with endless calls and frustration trying to sort this mess with both wayfair and FedEx!     I have spent in total about $6,500.00 with this company and they ALWAYS send damaged products or products that don't have all the parts or instructions. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Friends have had the same experience. The most recent experience...I bought a recliner and the material was ripped and they only gave me a $62.00 refund on the chair as it was a open box price.     I purchased 2 sets of 16-panel pens but received only one. Reached out to customer service and was assured that they could see what I paid and that it was for more than what I received and they were taking steps to get the other set to me. I immediately got a survey to rate my experience to which I did not respond. How did I know what was going to happen with my order yet. The next day I received an email stating that I received what I ordered by the part number and there was basically nothing they could do.     We were looking at ordering a couch from the Wayfair website. We looked at several ones and found one we liked that was priced at $399 on sale because of their sales event. My wife said she will think about ordering the couch after she checked our financial position. The next day, my wife went onto the Wayfair website to order the couch, but the price had increased back to its original price of $1604. 99. We were thinking, man that was a good deal that we missed. Two days later my wife went back onto the Wayfair website and the same couch was back on sale for $399. So we picked a color and my wife ordered the couch that was on sale for $399.

    This price was 75% off on a sale event that Wayfair had going on its website. If you signed up for a Wayfair credit card they would give you an additional $40 off the sale price if the purchase was over $100. The original listed price was $1604. 99. They had this couch in seven different color options when we ordered the couch, and we selected a color option that we liked and ordered it. We had three color options that we liked. We received the approval that the purchase had gone through as we were using the Wayfair credit card for the additional $40 off the sale price. The first email we received right away said thanks for the order and that the company will be contacting us in a few days to set up the delivery date and time. Two days later, we receive an email from Wayfair saying we canceled our order.

    We did not cancel our order, so my wife called up Wayfair to talk to a representative. Once on the phone with a representative, the representative said that the couch company canceled the order because the color we ordered was supposedly out of stock. They didn't give us an option to choose another color to replace the one that was canceled, as we had three color choices that we liked. While my wife is on the phone talking with the representative, she went onto the Wayfair website to look to see if the couch that we had ordered was on the website. The same couch from the same company in the same color was on the website for sale, except it was now on sale for $839.

    My wife asked the representative about this, and they said sorry for the inconvenience with this order because the company canceled the order. If you like we can put the order in for a new couch in the same color as our first choice at the $839 price point but the representative said they would give us a coupon for 10% off the purchase price. We were never offered a replacement color at the original sales price of $399.

    My wife even asked about this. We were not going to do the 10% discount as that is an increase in the price of the couch by $360. This is a very poor business practice if they do this to multiple people every day of the year. Needless to say, we did not order anything from them and never will because of this shady business practice they did to do to us. Cancel our order then jack the price up higher. I might reconsider our options with them if we get a formal apology from the company and they sold us the couch at its original sales price, but we know the company will not do this. I hope this helps people in their business dealings with Wayfair, as to me they are crooks for doing a shady business practice. My wife has the email confirmations if needed I can send them.

    Wayfair sucks!!! I bought a $3,000 dollar Murphy bed frame and when it was delivered one of the boxes was missing. I couldn’t build the bed whatsoever. I did get all the boxes for the attached shelving. But I had guests coming the following week. I called Wayfair. They said they’d operate within my time constraints and find the box. Next thing I know, 2 days later, I get an email saying it could take 6 days to do a dock search. I called wayfair back the next day and they said there’s nothing they can do. They’re looking for it and won’t be able to get it to me in time. So I have to go and spend more money to buy a bed frame so my guests aren’t sleeping on a mattress on the floor!

    I asked if they’d do anything to help out and they said, "No. It looks like you are going to have to just go buy another frame!" Don’t waste your money on wayfair! Even with the shelf part of the bed I did have the boxes for and was able to put together. It’s not even that great of quality. It’s made just like those $30 mainstays cube book shelves you get from Walmart.

    I called Wayfair because we ordered three sets of stools for a tradeshow. I told the guy what date we needed them by and he assured me multiple times they'd arrive by that date. Didn't arrive. We bought different sets for the show. One set arrived 2 weeks late. The other two sets arrived 3 weeks late. I go to return them and their prepaid shipping labels were going to cost $60.     I bought a bed frame and found out two days later that it was marked down a further $100. I have not received the item. The team refused to give a price match, only after two days of putting down the order. They also charge $80 for return shipping. I got on a call with a manager and she offered a 40% refund and said that was the best she could do. I haven't received the refund in 5 days so I called in to check on the status. Then I was told they did not have any record of who the manager was that told me a refund was issued and they do not do that.

    First I was disappointed because they will not offer price adjustments after an order was placed. I would agree if I placed the order over a week ago or if I have already received the item, but not when I haven't received anything or just after two days. Second, I was very upset because I was lied to about getting a refund. No business should do that and then say "oh sorry, we do not have any record of that so we are not going to give it to you." It was a bad experience.

    Absolutely terrible experience. Ordered a coffee table, decided against it after taking a closer look at the pictures. I decided to cancel my order less than 10 min. later. Website says I cannot cancel as order has already shipped. Now we know that when you order furniture online at 10pm that no, it was NOT shipped in 10 minutes but apparently their website is programmed to say that so you cannot cancel, even though it offers online cancellations. I called, spoke with 3 people. I was eventually sent to a Manager. She was very nice and told me when the package arrives at my house (in about a week!) to just send it back and a refund will be issued within 48 hours.

    I then went to a reputable local furniture store and bought a nice new coffee table. When the Wayfair coffee table arrived I sent it back to them. That was 13 days ago. Still no refund. I have emailed and received a response that my refund was processed over a week ago. I called and the lady I spoke with on October 5th told me refunds take 5 days minimum (after she first had told me 48 hours). I have now called three times and sent 3 emails. They no longer respond to my emails. 13 days later still no refund and now, no customer service. I am still blown away that less than 10 minutes after ordering this coffee table online, when I went in to cancel my order, that their site is literally programmed to lie and say no cancellation as my order has already shipped (10 minutes after ordering online after 10pm at night!).

    I mentioned this experience to my 83 year old father and he said he purchased a washer and dryer from Wayfair less than a year ago and the dryer has had issues since day one and he called several times and they would not send out someone to repair the faulty dryer because he did not purchase the optional product warranty. He has since had to purchase another new dryer, from a different company, which cost him over $900 in additional money. There are many online companies where we can purchase furniture and other products. In my opinion Wayfair is a dishonest company with terrible customer service. If you want a good, positive experience, Wayfair does not deserve your business.

    I placed an order and was given an expected delivery date two months out which was fine with me, then it got pushed back another month and the expected delivery date came and went. Then AFTER the date it's expected to be there they tell me that they oversold the item I ordered and could not fulfill my order, THREE MONTHS AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER. Why was I given delivery dates if my order at this point couldn't be fulfilled? They wouldn't honor the price either which was absolute ** and to reorder the item it would've been another 5 months until it was delivered which at that point it would be pointless. I will never use this company again. They need to figure their stuff out and maybe not have huge sales if they can't fulfill the orders or keep track of the available items.

    Let me preface by saying that I like Wayfair and I have purchased other items from them in the past with no complaints, but the large parcels department specifically has left me beyond frustrated. I have called over 15 times in the last 3 weeks regarding a dining room table that I ordered nearly 2 months ago. Each time I call they tell me that within 24-48h I will receive an email from the delivery courier to schedule the delivery, and after each 48h mark I call back to inform them I still have not received said email. The process has continued this way for weeks.

    On my most recent call I was told that there was some kind of system error that was not allowing them to schedule the delivery on their end, and that they had no way of contacting the warehouse other than to submit a ticket through their system. This should not happen!!! When I search the warehouse online their website redirects to the Wayfair website. The warehouse is controlled and owned by Wayfair. And they claim to have no real way of contacting them?

    When you pay for something online you should receive it within a reasonable time, and the company you purchased it from should do everything possible to accommodate you until you receive the purchase. Bare minimum. We are tired of eating picnic-style and the delay on this item with no movement or real assistance has been very disappointing.

    Terrible customer service and bad experience. Ordered a furniture set (wardrobe, desk, book shelf and small hanging shelf). One box was not delivered, after raising it to the customer service waited for over a month for the resolution. The missing parts delivery was cancelled and moved 3 or 4 times every time stating that parts were not available but we ordered new ones? What? If they are not available where did you order? to produce them?? Asked for a refund - offered me only 35% - Computer says no - company policy we cannot offer more. 35% won't be enough even to buy a similar item on their website... and definitely from that set the wardrobe is the largest item. They can send a refund only if I send the full order back, which is assembled... of course, because I will disassemble it and pack it for them to come and just pick it up! Just ridiculous. Never offered any solution, just selling air, promising something they cannot deliver. Never again!

    I bought a set of 4 dining chairs on Wayfair. The chairs were lot smaller than I had expected and the ones that I was replacing. They were not worth the high price I had paid. I then noticed the price had dropped significantly in less than a week after I had bought them. Even though I was not happy with the chairs, thought somewhat of a lower price would at least offset my disappointment, so I called customer service to get a price adjustment. They refused to price adjust, citing it was a red tag sale.

    At this point, I wanted to return the chairs, but they refused to take it back because it was already assembled. Bit miffed at this, how would I know how the chairs look and feel, unless I assemble them? After a bit of complaining, they agreed to take it back, but I had to pay for the return which would be lot more than the price reduction I would have got had they price adjusted. In the end, I decided to not return. I had heard a lot about Wayfair, but this was my first purchase - pulled trigger reluctantly. I shop a lot at Amazon, and I know I can why Wayfair will never be an Amazon when it comes to customer service and satisfaction.

Online they have the same set for $200.00 less and arriving between October 13 and 19. So those who pay less with get the table before me. Wayfair does not price match and there is a fee to return items so I am stuck with the situation and am totally dissatisfied with their service. You are at their mercy if you order anything from them since their processes do not support the customer.

    I did order a $1500 bed frame from Wayfair. The bed frame came in and there was a 3 inch chip on the frame. There was also little stains on the bed. I did contact the customer support. They asked me for more details pictures etc and then they stopped responding. I did chat with agent last week and told the story she said I have a open case and they will get back to me. It's been 2 weeks now and no answer at all. Brand new item was damaged and they don't even respond your email.

    Wow. Abysmal from top to bottom. They sent 2 out of 4 chairs for a dining room set. What they DID send was so poorly made the chairs rock back and forth are are barely stable. Then the guy they were going to send to assemble the remaining chairs cancelled 1 hour before he was suppose to show up. We called the number to figure out what the deal was and got an extremely rude guy named John who did nothing to help us and somehow blamed US for no contractor being available despite a confirmed booking. Absolutely pathetic furniture and service. Do not order.

    Regardless of the quality of products or lack thereof, Wayfair is the future JCPenney. Although the real JCPenney had decent products, multiple other issues led to their demise. Wayfair will follow for the same reasons. As a result of their ineptitude, wedding plans to renovate bathroom for newlyweds left incomplete.

    1) Driver abandoned delivery 2 times.
    2) Driver never followed pre delivery notes. Why have them if they’re ignored?
    3) Driver never called prior to delivery as requested.

    4) Customer Service, although trying to be helpful, only spout lame company policies. 48 hours between delivery attempts, 48 hours to change delivery address.

    ETC. Use Amazon or someone else who knows what customer service means. Goodbye.

    I ordered a bed from Wayfair Canada which was to be delivered to a condo. Unfortunately, they use FedEx which is unable to provide a window for delivery and expects the buyer to sit outside the building all day to receive delivery. Fedex set me up on a text notification system when the driver was nearing the delivery time (which did not notify me). All furniture deliveries that I have received have a delivery co that commonly delivers furniture and provides a confirmation of the delivery timeframe PLUS contact you when they are nearing your location. When I was unable to receive the product that I purchased, Fedex took two days to notify Wayfair that the bed was being sent back to them. This was after spending approx 5 hours on the phone with FEDEX and Wayfair.

    Wayfair finally said that they would refund me for the purchase. Guess what they did? Not only did they not issue a refund, they billed me for the bed a second time. I am not able to speak with finance. They would not even allow me to show my credit card information online. I was told that it showed that a refund was issued on their end with a system glitch note. I was further told that it would be up to finance to decide about whether they billed me twice for a product that I did not receive. Customer service does not get involved with finance. They only submit tickets and the wronged consumer cannot communicate with finance. At this point, Wayfair has billed me over $600 for a product that I do not have. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I would recommend not purchasing from these people.

    I placed an order for two rugs on 9/6/22. On 9/7 I received an email stating that one rug (A) was shipped and the other rug (B) was delayed until 9/28. On 9/10 I received another email stating that the order for the delayed rug(B) had been canceled and that I would be issued a refund. I called to cancel the complete order as I needed both rugs or neither of them. I was told that they were unable to cancel the one rug (A) because it was “being processed”. After it was delivered I went online to return the rug (A) and was told it would be $40 to return it.

    When I inquired as to why the other rug(B) had been cancelled since I noticed that it was for sale again on the website for $100 more than I originally purchased it for on 9/6, I was told they there was a pricing error on the rug(B) when I purchased it on 9/6 so they cancelled it and refunded my money. Instead of honoring the advertised price on their website. When I expressed my displeasure with that type of customer service I was given a canned speech that it isn’t their intent to disappoint a customer and that they had tried to make it right by refunding the purchase, (of a rug that they cancelled) The agent offered me a 10% discount to purchase the rug(B) again at the new price ($100 more than the price I paid on 9/6). I explained that was insulting and declined and the offer.

    I requested to return the other rug (A) without being charged $40 since I needed both rugs together and based on the poor customer service of handling it the whole situation. Again this request was denied as well. Imagine going into a retail store and purchasing an item and then the cashier says “oops there was a glitch in our system and we had the wrong price on the item you just purchased so we will just take that item back from you and refund your credit card”. I tried to escalate my complaint to this next level online and was given the exact same canned reply. This is clearly an issue and the standard for their customer service. Very poor service.

    Horrid customer experience! Made a personal attack on me and then hung up on me! Here is how we got to it: I ordered one large dining table that never arrived. Finally had to cancel that item and order another dining table for $ 3800. The item never arrived (though this is a large purchase!) even though they already charged my payment method.

    There are no updates on the delivery of the item. The item disappeared from their website. The supervisor, when I complained and said I will write a review accused me of being 'DISPARAGING'! I told him I am within my right to write a review and he said I am making it "PERSONAL" because I said I will write a review! All the while HE made it personal by calling my intended review 'disparaging'. I told him how he would even know if my review would disparaging? I told him my review will be truthful!     We bought a couch and table from Wayfair. Both have parts missing. They would not send the missing parts. Nor come pick up the products. So we now have a 200lb+ table top (no legs), and a legless couch. I don't own a truck so I'm forced to rent one to dispose of the two items (useless without the legs and parts missing).. This was also after multiple delays and calls to customer service. Finally, we got them to agree to a full refund. However, we didn't get it. Turns out they didn't issue it. So we had to fight with them more. Still waiting to see if we will get it. One of the worst online purchase experiences. Would not recommend them. Unless you're into driving to the dump to toss their flawed products.

    Went to Wayfair to purchase an AC unit...was offered 10% off my first purchase if I gave them my email...Was going to be a big purchase so I signed up and found the new item for $420 but they also had an open box same item for $383 and said same as new. So, I thought 10% off and also almost $40 less I would give it a try. At checkout I was not given the 10% off but thought that was a glitch and would just call to have that fixed. I received the item with some very minor damage on the back and essentially a used product.

    The box looked like it had been thrown down a flight of stairs, but I was still hopeful. Some of the extras like remote, spacers and foam were missing. The paperwork was there though. I called Wayfair to complain about the lack of the discount and the missing parts and was told I bought an open box clearance item, and you get what you get...plus no refund even if it doesn't work. I wasn't looking for a full refund only a partial to cover costs of supplies.

    Luckily for me it actually works but I had to buy installation materials and a remote if I want one. Very disappointed in the Wayfair Company and would not recommend them to my friends. They did offer me a 10% coupon for future purchase, but I don't think I will be shopping there again... Basically I bought a used AC for what I could have paid for a brand new one.

    Wayfair is a rip off scam! I just moved into a new home. Ordered a lot of new, received confirmation from them then when notice of delivery was come noticed things changed. Instead of a 6-piece queen bedroom set it changed into a 6-drawer dresser, when I called customer service I was told they would no longer ship my order and would cost me to return the garbage they sent.     9/19, I put my online order with Wayfair for 60" French Door delivery by end Sept. I got an email on 9/22, 3 days later saying the delivery will delay until end Oct. So I called customer service the same day and the lady just told I have 2 options, cancel the order or reorder another one. I give them one more try, then she pass me another lady to find another more expensive french door expecting arrival by 10/7 and placed the order. Later I found out the placed order don't apply the same promo code as the cancel 1st order, also the ETA is 10/15 instead of 10/7. I called the customer service again why the promo code don't apply and the agent say they will look into it and refund or re-apply the code on the invoice.

    Next day, 9/24, Saturday I got an email that they cannot refund or reapply after order is placed. Therefore I need to check with my remodel contractor on Monday, today whether he can wait until mid Oct but he say no..Therefore I called customer service again, the 3rd time, to cancel the order as I cannot wait so long until mid Oct. The lady in the customer service told me shipment has been shipped. I need to pay $150 for return charge for cancel order. I asked shipped today, 9/26, why need to delivery mid Oct. I need it next week instead of mid Oct..She said after shipped out, no matter how long reach customer, they charge return shipping. I will buy from Home Depot or Lowes in future although Wayfair has more modern selection. Worse tele customer service it happen to me in US.

    0 for 2 in terms of fulfilling orders for me. Honestly, spend a bit more and shop somewhere more reliable. For my last order (a shed), it's been over a month and still not delivered. My order shows as "delivered" and when I phoned customer service about it, I got hung up. Tried the chat option and was told that "delivered" meant to the local delivery company and that I'd hear from them in a few days. That was last week, finally heard from the delivery company on Friday that my delivery was supposed to be delivered today and then they confirmed again for today only to be phoned an hour later to say that they couldn't find the item in their warehouse now. Wayfair customer service has no idea what's going on and the local delivery company didn't either. I have cancelled my order and will just order through Home depot or Rona...     I purchased some new items for a house we just moved into. The first item was a chess of drawers. Since we now live in a new address I deleted the old one and added the new one. I received the chess of drawers just as expected. Next, I purchased an ottoman and verified the new address was on my profile. It was somehow delivered to the old address in Arizona.     Wish I could leave 0 stars. I ordered a chaise lounge and was told to expect delivery Saturday from 7-11 AM. So I cancelled a trip and sat by my front door beginning at 7. At 9 I got a call and was told the truck would be here in a half hour. Then the guy told me that he was wrong, the chair was not on his truck. Then I was cut off. Every attempt to call him back to get to the bottom of the matter was ignored. He simply didn't pick up his phone so I didn't know what to do!. I called their office and was told I would have to reschedule. That's where we are now. I have no idea when they will reschedule, and I'll likely have to take a day off work. Outrageous!!!!     My family had an issue with an advertisement on the Wayfair website which Kiley, the Customer Supervisor refused to honor. She talked about Wayfair making the mistake of competing with other vendors and the price is too low etc. I tried to explain to her that was not my fault, I went by the price Wayfair was offering online. Kiley continued to tell me she will not honor the price online advertised by Wayfair. I asked to speak with someone else and she blatantly refused to let me know anyone above her is not ALLOWED to talk with any customers, she said it was written in their contracts.

    I repeatedly ask for an address to write to corporate, but again she said no. Kiley even relayed to me that she was working from home and there was no other office she could connect me to. Kiley is the rudest and the most disrespectful customer service agent I have ever spoken with. She puts Wayfair in a very negative position. We will not order from Wayfair ever because of her!!!

    I had an extremely bad experience with Wayfair! I bought a dryer that was defective. I contacted the customer support for the dryer and they told me to contact Wayfair, since they aren't responsible for a 3rd party seller. So I did. I was unable to get a full refund because I couldn't sent back the dryer. It was too heavy and the original packaging was damaged. It wasn't my fault the dryer was defective! I only was able to get back 25% of my money. Which is total **! Even worse, they are holding my personal information hostage! I tried to delete my account, since I will never shop from them again, and they are dragging their feet. You have to send in a request for a deletion of an account. This was weeks ago! They sent me another form to fill out and said it would take another 30 days! No other website has made it this difficult to delete your personal information! It's illegal to do this!     Initially we ordered a sofa from Wayfair but our new place where we have no furniture in the living. So I requested wayfair to give me a deadline by when the delivery can be expected and as per usual they estimated me 9th of September. After calling them on 9th of September and complaining about the delay in the delivery, they told me that the order will be delivered by 10th of September. While waiting on the 10th of September and having multiple calls with the delivery company I have got a partial delivery by the end of the day. After waiting for the missing piece of my order for 2 days I've tried reaching them again and after a long call they told me that they don't have any knowledge about the remaining part's delivery.

    So I've decided to cancel my order and ask them to process the refund and pick up the delivered parts. On the a call agent told me that, "I'll be putting you on hold and while I process your refund." After reading on the call for 20 minutes she disconnected the call. Meanwhile I was under the impression that my order got canceled as per the last remarks from the customer service. So I've ordered a sofa with a local vendor and expected a delivery on 16th. Then on the 15th of September I have received the missing piece without any prior notification or information from Wayfair.

    After receiving the missing piece I tried reaching customer service again and explain that my order was supposed to be canceled as per their last response. And refer to the previous call and ask them to check the record for any activity earlier. This time customer service totally denied any record in the call although I have references of that call in my dialog and the duration while I was on the call is also with me.

    Upon explaining that I have all the evidences with me the customer service representative told me that the call was disconnected so they don't have any record for that but when I refer to the earlier calls where I was calling them several times to ask for my order delivery and expected date of delivery, she said that we can't even trace that either.

    Furthermore when I explain them that I've already put in a deposit to the local vendor to deliver a sofa by today, that is 16th of September. And that local vendor call me that he is on his way to the delivery probably by the end of today. She said that, "We have not responsible for your order as your order and refund will be processed by some other company who is the sole manufacturer or the the freight company that is delivering the order." Which means that wayfair is selling the products from other vendors and they are no more than just a e-commerce business who are selling product from other people.

    In the end instead of resolving they gave me another estimated resolution date by then the actual vendor of the furniture will contact me. In the end, I lost $300 off my deposit which was ported against the order I placed with local vendor. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for something on an estimated date or on a reasonable delivery duration to not buy from them instead of that go to any local vendor and negotiate out a good deal from them while supporting the local community.     Wayfair not only did not deliver my order, they provided me no communication about its delay and/or refund options (which is ILLEGAL by federal consumer goods and e-commerce regulations) and when I tried contacting them once I noticed the missing item they refused to provide an alternative resolution by either re-shipping me an equivalent item or giving me a refund. They claimed it was past their '30-day return policy' but there was NO ITEM TO RETURN because they NEVER DELIVERED. This is not only ethically dubious, it's a literal rejection of consumer laws and close to fraud.     We bought a couch from Wayfair. It was a good price and matched our needs. The website said it would be here in 10 days. 2 days after purchase we received an email saying the couch we ordered was delayed and would take over 5 weeks to arrive, and the email gave us the option to cancel the item. Since 5 weeks was too long to wait for a couch we decided to cancel the item. But when we clicked the cancel item button on the email, the link just sent us back to our Wayfair order menu with no option to cancel. We called customer service and the lady on the phone said that was odd and since she also didn't have the option to cancel it must be a technical glitch and she would escalate and get back to us.

    A week later, after we had already purchased a new couch from somewhere else, Wayfair gets back to us stating that, since the item was "made to order" returns were not allowed. Nowhere on the item description did it state it was made to order or that returns were not available for that item. Also, 10 days to build and ship a couch to the other side of the planet? Not a chance. We called customer service again and talked to an incredibly rude woman who, upon being told we would issue a chargeback, went into a rage stating that not only would we lose the case but we'd also be blacklisted from buying from Wayfair again.

    In the end she told us someone would get back to us in a few days. We called again and got a much more pleasant customer service rep who immediately issued us a refund. Too little too late, Wayfair. We'll never buy something from you ever again, and we'll ensure we tell as many people as possible to never purchase something through your company.

    I purchased two furniture items that had to be assembled from Wayfair. One arrived over a week late and did not have any parts. I had to wait several days for these to come. Once assembled, I saw that some parts were made out of cardboard, or door knobs were not aligned, or the doors would not shut. I paid to have these assembled. Also, the cardboard piece was damaged. I found out that to return the products, I would have to un-assemble and pay the return freight. Every time I called Wayfair, they were no help. They told me to contact the manufacturer or FedEx - once I paid my money I was ignored. To make matters worse, I found the same products on Amazon. Had I purchased from them, I would have saved over $200. Wayfair has a policy of not meeting prices. I will never purchase from them again.

    If you watch Wayfair commercials you think it is easy to order and it is!!! But once you want to return any item, the nightmare begins. I tried to return cabinet knobs and pulls and it was a ridiculous process, numerous phone calls, and eventually no credit given. With Amazon, returns are super easy and seamless.     I purchased a chandelier from Wayfair by "Josh & Main" for $480.00 plus tax. The light arrived today and it's a light from Kichler. Kichler is a good company but if I had know it was coming form Kichler I could have saved myself $85.26 because the same light is for sale on several sites for $393.74.     They had a listing selling tiles in sets of 12. I ordered 720 linear ft of it. They sent me individual tiles instead. I called to verify the correct amount. I was advised it should have been a set of 12 per order by every representative on the phone except the last one. Promised to remedy...never did. They managed to correct the listing after a month of my inquiries, but never fixed the issues. When I called the agent told me only option was to cancel. I cancelled.     We ordered a kitchen table. The glass top arrived before the table foundation. When the table foundation arrived, the box was torn and the base of the table was scratched. We immediately reported the problem and were told that they would be sending a new base. It never arrived. In fact, when my husband questioned Wayfair they offered a 25% refund.     I had a worst experience with Wayfair especially with their customer service. I've been waiting for my order for 1 month and it was never shipped. I tried calling customer service to get my order cancelled and process refund which they outright refuse citing some policies. Their managers are worst, I think they are trained to not be empathetic to any customers, this is the response from one of those blood sucking monsters - 'You are making a big deal out of simple item worth 50$, I wonder what else is going on in your life, you should probably check yourself with doctor'. I don't know what else to say here, how can they comment about my personal life? This is a horrible experience, I'm never going to order again.     They left me a $800 vanity in front of the house. After I called them to return/exchange they claimed that the 100 parts inside were not damaged and they are not willing to refund or exchange the unit. After back and forth they were willing to take it back but with one catch which I had to pay $300 shipping in order to return it - this is the last time I am doing business with them. They were great once but in the past 6 month everything I bought from them had an issue.

    I ordered a 9'x12' outdoor rug from this company on 7/23/22 and since then I have received a 2'x4' rug as a replacement 3 times. When I called customer service (for the third time today in 2 weeks) they said the price I paid on 7/23/22 was labeled wrong and that they would not honor the price I paid on my original receipt. Their solution is to give me a 10% discount, which is basically a slap in the face. What company does this? If I had gone to an actual brick and mortar store, with actual sales people, they would honor the price I had paid. Since Wayfair is a big company, it seems that they feel they do not need to respect the customer and honor the pricing. They want to get more money from a situation that was caused by them, not by me.

    This company does not care about what consumers think about them, only the bottom line for their board members and stockholders. I would recommend shopping elsewhere for items you would need from businesses that respect you and appreciate your business and that is NOT Wayfair. This was the first and last time I will be buying anything from them.

    I signed up because we are building a house and I was ordering a lot of things from Wayfair. There was a promotion for spend $350 get $35 in rewards. The problem is, they do not update rewards. I have spent close to $3000 and have only received $29 in rewards. Nothing has been posted to my rewards since June 3rd. I have made numerous calls and do not get a follow up and my account still isn’t updated. They are horrible to work with and I will end up canceling this card.

    I ordered a credenza. I paid for "white glove delivery". The delivery company showed up and damaged my wall and the product. The delivery company took the product back. Wayfair charged me a return delivery fee + won't pay on the damaged wall. The process was I had to get an estimate to get the wall fixed. I sent that. It's been 9 months and hours of phone calls. They tell me I have to deal with the delivery company even though I hired wayfair. They will not give me the delivery company's phone number. They said the delivery company has been in contact with me and trying to resolve but never heard from them. I call wayfair asking for the delivery company's contact but they will not release it to me. Now they want to turn me into collections for the charges when they owe me money. All emails get returned saying I have to call. I call and get the run around for hours.

    I placed an order a month ago and the expected delivery was 15th of July but I never got the bed delivered. After talking to your agents couple of times, every time what I hear is that the bed is stuck in customs and will be delivered in 2-3 days. It was my first time ordering from this company and it was so disappointing. Today, on 25th July I called again to your customer service and asked the agent to transfer the call to the supervisor. Her name is Andrey, after explaining her the whole situation, what she offered me is either they will replace the order for the same bed or they will refund the more, which is not acceptable after waiting for a month. I asked her to transfer the call to the manager and what I heard is that she is the head and she don't have any manager. Anyhow I convinced her to let me talk to anybody from higher authority.

    She transferred the call to the manager named Katy. Again, she offered me two things either a replacement or a refund. The bed you was not able to deliver in a month, how should I believe that it will be delivered in 3-5 days. At last, I am left with the only option of refund. The bed I ordered was the time of sale. I can't find any bed for the same price. After making me wait for a month, what was offered is just a refund. It is so disappointing and will never shop from Wayfair again.

    Ordered the couch, it came with a bent bracket. My replacement came. I asked to return the damaged piece. They said keep it. I am a senior person and have no way of disposing this. I was told not their problem. Now I have half of a couch in my living room with nowhere to dispose of it. Furniture is cheap looking. Plastic legs. I will never order anything from Wayfair again. It's not worth it.

    I cannot believe how poor the customer service at Wayfair.com and I never never ever purchase anything from there again. What's so disappointing is Wayfair has really nice merchandise. However the customer service is so poor it's just not worth it. I'm a person that will pay for quality service. Each and every customer service rep that I encountered was defensive, dismissive no one wanted to listen or take responsibility. I was hung up on 4 times. I was placed on mute not hold but mute for 39 minutes once the rep realized that I wasn't gonna hang up she hung up on me. I ordered a Refrigerator on 6/20/22 I had a delivery sched for. 7/11/22. I was given a delivery window of 12 am to 12 am. I waited all day.

    No one from Wayfair or the delivery company informed me that my delivery was not going to happen. It took me 3 hrs to finally get an answer after going back and forth between the two for hours. I find out that I'm gonna have to wait an entire week because that's the earliest avail delivery date. Once again I had to find this out on my own I got no assistance from customer service. Today my refrigerator was finally delivered and the old one was supposed to be hauled away. The gentlemen hooked up the new fridge and took the old fridge only to leave it on my front lawn. Once again I call Wayfair customer service and after speaking with 4 different reps being on hold another 29min and hung up on twice. I was told to contact the delivery company. The delivery company tells me they did not have orders to haul the fridge away... So why was it taken out of my home???

    I call Wayfair customer service back sit on hold for another 40min and get transferred to 2 supervisors because clearly no one wants to deal with the problem. The last person I spoke with claimed they were the supervisor of the advocacy dept. She told me to ask my neighbor to bring my fridge back in my house and call bulk trash. Even though I paid for it to be hauled away... Now of course I can't leave it in my front yard because my HMO will penalize me. I am completely shocked and disgusted that a company with such nice merchandise could possibly have the absolute worst customer service. I will never purchase so much as a dinner fork from Wayfair solely because of the putrid customer service that I received. If I could return the fridge and get my money back I would.

    This definitely is the WORST SERVICE I have ever received and I will make sure I follow up with a formal complaint to the cooperate office as well as the BBB and I will also make sure I provide the same review on Consumers United as well as the Wayfair Website. Especially since the Advocate supervisor informed me that the reviews would come back to her anyway so it didn't matter.

    I often shop online at Wayfair.ca and other sites. On July 12th, 2022, I was looking to buy a patio conversation set. I surfed all day on various websites scouring numerous pages of patio furniture looking for a great deals. Then I found it on Wayfair.ca! Polyethylene (PE), Polyethylene (A Wicker 5 - Person... by Red Barrel Studio). It was a set by Red Barrel Studio! I was so happy. I thought this was too good to be true. I placed the order and received confirmation. My credit card confirmed that the purchase was completed and I waited for a tracking number to be sent. I received this notification: **.

    At 3:40 pm on July 17th, 6 DAYS LATER, I received an email stating that the conversation set I purchased was "cancelled"!!! I was totally confused and was wanting my patio ready for my kids summer visit! Now, it was way too late to order something else and have it set up in time for their arrival!! I immediately called Wayfair.ca. I spoke with a representative (Talisha), who I must say was the nicest and most helpful customer service rep I have ever dealt with!!! But she couldn’t help me! She looked up the order, apologized and explained that a pricing error had occurred.

    I have never had this happen before with any online retailer before! I was really upset that Wayfair.ca had cancelled my order without any notification or communication. I received an email with an apology and a %10 off discount code. Imagine!!!! You can get 10% off with a sign up!!! I did not think that was fair and did not equate to what I was going to receive. I asked to speak with a manager but she explained that it wouldn’t help and read Wayfair.ca's policy. This is it, so buyers beware!!

    Now my kids are coming and I’m stuck with my old rusty set!!! Wayfair.ca should be held accountable! Years ago an airline had a glitch in airline prices for I think it was two dollars and it was honoured!!!! This type of consumer abuse would never happen at any retail store that I know of! If an item is priced incorrectly and the consumer purchases that product in good faith, that price contract should be honoured! I wonder how many consumers tried to cancel an order from Wayfair.ca and we’re refused because the contract was completed??? Buyer Beware of Wayfair.ca.

    This company is a scam. They send us two different bed frames, both frames missing parts. You can't even assemble them. I called to explained the situation. Was told they issue me a full refund and I should just discard the beds or donate. I found out they just refunded me for one bed. The second need to be returned and they charge me $40 for return shipping..!!! Why should I pay $40 to return an item that is faulty.?! I called back to speak to a supervisor and received the worst customer service. DO NOT shop from this company, they steal your money.

    I purchased 2 complete beds from Wayfair. They are both falling apart, and they are only a year old. The footboards and headboards are loose, the stability under the box spring and mattress is a joke. The stabilizers for these beds are 4 2x4’s that also loosen and make the bed unsafe. Once they come loose, they bend, which makes the bed buckle. The hardware to put these beds together is cheap. My whole experience has been terrible. I thought I was getting 2 good quality beds that would last, but I most definitely did not. I got 2 cheaply made pieces of crap, for the large amount of money I paid for them. I contacted customer service and was told that there was nothing that could be done. Stay away from Wayfair if you want good quality, sturdy furniture, that will last. There is absolutely no way that I will ever be shopping here again.

    My sister bought me a chair months ago. The weight capacity is 275lbs. Well no one over 200 lbs. sat in it and very briefly. The chair has twist on legs. The back legs have completely bent. I have bricks supporting the chair!!! I will give you the address it was delivered to. We paid for a dependable product. I'm very put out with the whole experience!     I shopped for a queen size platform bed. What I bought was actually only the headboard, which the website did state, but four of the six pictures showed the full bed. They later admitted this was "staging." I specifically needed a platform bed for my mattress which does not have a box springs or other frame and I explained this to the CS rep whom I called just as soon as I realized it was just a headboard, and before it was delivered(!). She cheerfully agreed to give me a refund, after looking for the rest of the bed and being unable to find it. After we hung up, I found the rest of the bed right away, so why couldn't she?

    She had suggested I contact the manufacturer. I did not want to do that as my life is way too busy to be hunting down beds. What she did NOT tell me: 1) I would need to print a return label. Because my printer is in another city, this means I would have to go to a print/fax place to get a label. I didn't know this until 9:00PM the night before my next morning scheduled return pickup by FedEx. Secondly, and MOST important: They are deducting $30 for shipping costs from my refund and they didn't tell me this when I called asking to return the item.

    So I called again to complain about this additional undisclosed information: The CS rep spent approximately ten minutes repeating her scripted answers: The headboard was clearly stated as a headboard and their return policy and shipping charges are clearly indicated on their website. She has no power to make any adjustments. It is out of her hands! So ten minutes explaining why the company was right, admitting that they "stage" their items photos, and explaining that she could do nothing to help me. I ended up politely terminating the call. I will not be shopping at Wayfair again! I will be warning anyone I speak with, that this is not a company with integrity.

    There seem to be major issues with shipping Mattresses to Canada. The Delta Wayfair shipped me the mattress that also arrive late (wrong size and wrong manufacturer). I have been battling with them and customer service to get this resolved. I am still waiting for the Mattress I ordered June 13. We are getting close to a month. I regret ordering a mattress through Wayfair just to saving a little $$. Go to a local store and pay the extra. Not worth the headache.

    Ordered a TV stand from Wayfair 6/29/2022. Was scheduled to be delivered 7/2/2022. Arrived 7/3/2022. Arrived damaged but installer was able to rig it to work. Did not arrive at my door as promised. Fed-Ex just dropped it on the first floor common area where anyone could steal it (thankfully they did not) but it was so heavy I could not bring it upstairs myself, and while that is Fed-Ex's mistake, Wayfair needs to ensure compliance with what they tell customers. Just an overall negative experience.

    I ordered a scratching post for $37.39 on a weekend sale, then they said if I add $12 to my order I will get free shipping, so I added measuring cups for $13. So a total of $50.51. I tried to submit my order and it just would not submit. After a couple hours of trying to see if I was doing things right, I called, as this was my first time shopping here. Customer service representative was nice and tried to help, but she said it was the weirdest thing. It was in my checkout and whenever she tried to submit the order it would disappear. So after talking for 44 minutes she sent me to someone else. Who was a wrong department. So then another 11 minutes on hold waiting for someone else.

    Finally after speaking to her she realized it was because somehow on the Canadian Wayfair site, an American item was for sale. The item was in fact $79.99 Canadian. Literally two hours of calls and I was told I was out of luck. They saw it in my cart, and they should have worked harder to try to solve the problem. I will not shop there again!

    I recently bought a chaise lounge chair from Wayfair. One of the part came damaged and when I worked with wayfair, they said they will work with seller to ship the damaged part. I requested expedited shipping, wayfair told me there is nothing they can do to expedite the shipping. Then why did I even buy from wayfair? I said ok.. Let's go with normal shipping. 15 days goes by and I haven't received the product as yet. When I called wayfair back, they said the carrier sent the shipment back to seller cause it was damaged. Seriously? You guys did not think to communicate this to a customer? Really bad customer service from wayfair. I would not buy from wayfair again! Now they refunded the amount. But I have a damaged lounge chair that I need to take care of disposing on my own. These guys are the worst! The products looks fancy.. But they are all cheaply made particle board mostly from China.     I was leary of buying big furniture online in the first place,but I went ahead because everyone said Wayfair was a good site to use for it. Picked out a new sofa/couch paid for it. It originally said June 28 for delivery then it changed to July 1 now it says we are looking into a delay with your order! So I called Wayfair all they can tell you is no fed x label has been printed for it. Wait a minute let me understand this you take my money for an item you sell on YOUR website without even knowing if that actual sofa was even available.

    Now Wayfair after days of no show says ok we will give your money back but it will take 10-15 days to get my money back! Wait a minute why should it take that long? So now I have gone 5 days no sofa and will now have to go another 10-15 before I will even have the money to go to AMAZON and order one. Wayfair you could learn a thing or two from them. Bottom line Wayfair does not stand behind its BUYERS. Don't buy from them unless you want an empty home with a message online saying that there seems to be a delay in your product there looking into it when In reality they're NOT looking into anything.

    I have made many, many purchases over the years from Wayfair and never had any problems. Then I get an email June 3rd, 2022 informing me that I owe them money for a purchase I made in February 2021. For anyone who purchases online, you are aware that you don't get your order shipped to you unless it is paid for. They have gone into my history and just erased any payment so I don't even have an idea of what the original payment method was in order to check it. It's pretty terrifying that they could just go into anyone's purchase history and change it. What's to stop them from doing this to more of my purchases? Now they are threatening 'further action'. If you use this company, do so with extreme caution and keep every single receipt in a folder and never throw anything out.

    I tried purchasing a dresser online last week. After I entered my credit card info, it says, 'Cannot process at this time.' I tried later, and the same thing happened. Meanwhile, I was charged for both dressers as per my bank. Wayfair tells me they have no record of the purchase. Sounds very shady to me. A few years as ago, I bought an end table and a dresser. Both were described as being solid wood. Neither were solid wood. This is the last straw. I'll never shop from Wayfair again. No trust. What a shady and tacky business.

    I ordered a Red Barrel Studio Bookcase from Wayfair. I was shipped a similar product from Bush Furniture. I called their customer Service requesting a return since I did not receive the product I ordered. I was told they sometimes “rebrand” or “repackage” products as their own and ship out similar ones from different manufacturers. This is deceptive marketing practices. I found the actual product I received online at other stores for almost $100 less. Wayfair strategically does this repackaging so online shoppers cannot compare them since the Red Barrel Bookcase is a Wayfair Brand and the Bush Furniture Bookshelf is abundantly sold at many places online. And Wayfair charges return shipping on all products so even though I didn’t receive what I ordered Wayfair still wants to charge me more to return it. I would give this company zero stars and seriously question their company mandated practices which are in place to clearly take advantage of shoppers.

    After moving to a new home, I spent thousands of dollars with Wayfair. I received the wrong items with missing parts. One item I order was a marble table top with 1 big black leg as a attachment. They sent me a marble top with a 4 leg attachment. 2 of their supervisors told me they sent me the correct table top. How can you fit 1 big black leg under a table top with 4 leg inserts? Impossible! Wayfair sent me small screws to fit in big holes to attach legs on a coffee table, the screws don’t fit, I cannot assemble the coffee table, wrong screws. Wayfair sent me a FedEx shipping label to return the incorrect marble top. I returned the table top to Meridian New Jersey where the table top originated. The 2nd supervisor told me I did not return the table top, a complete lie! I was on the phone with this company every day for 2 weeks, nothing accomplished except multiple headaches.

    For my own peace, I decided it was best to take a 2k financial loss rather than combat this company on a daily basis. I was going to spend thousands of more dollars on bedroom sets. After my initial experience with Wayfair, they have lost my business. This company charges a great deal of money on their merchandise, they contract out to franchises who are the suppliers. My word of caution, is to be careful! You may receive damaged goods, missing parts, and may have to fight into complete misery to fix their mistakes which most of the time they don’t responsibility for. Wayfair doesn’t put the customer first. They are quick to take your money. Wayfair has forever lost my business. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. From customer service to shipping to returns to refunds, it’s all a never ending battle…

    I bought a rug and living room table, both on sale and very reasonable for a retired senior. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size and then they replaced it, but the color was the wrong one. When I told them how much I had to pay for the help to put the rugs down, move furniture and help with the packaging for the returns, they deducted all that from the rug price. The rug is beautiful and so is the table. There is never a problem with Wayfair about returns. Each time I've called with a problem, the CS Rep goes above and beyond to resolve it, staying on until the problem is resolved. Yes, some of their products are not on a par with Ethan Allen or other high-priced furniture stores, but these items are sturdy, well-made and will last, and are very beautiful. Another good thing with Wayfair is the large selection for every type of furniture. I shopped until I found what I wanted.

    Purchased item as listed in title: "painting on canvas" and in the product overview: "one of a kind" and in the details: "painting", "acrylic painting" and "wood frame". However the delivered product was a merely digital print, possibly on canvas (hard to tell as it was glued to hardboard) with a particle wood frame, not even connected at corners well. Ok, I will accept particle wood is 'technically wood', but most people would not call it wood. Just like leather and plastic-leather are not the same. Or food and edible are not equivalent. Completely fraudulent listing in my opinion. I recognized it would not be "one of a kind" as it's Wayfair doesn't sell unique items, but I expected it to be a at least a proper and real printing, reproduction, or copy, not simply a image printed.

    Customer service did provide a discount when I contacted them, without question and argument (clearly they are aware). As I bought this 'painting' on 70% sale, I will not complain further, but will not likely purchase again, and this review is being done. Interesting this item changed price for a few days, $140 to $40 when I bought it, then next week back to $140 then today was $140, then 15 mins later $100. After I got my refund, however they did not correct the fraudulent/misleading listing wording.

    The materials and diagram-based instructions are great. I would have given them 5 points but for one serious defect: They tried to cut costs by providing a soft aluminum square Allen wrench that warped and was unusable before even finishing half the assembly. I had to go buy an iron wrench to complete the assembly. If they replace the Allen wrench with an iron one, this would be a really great deal.

    I have successfully used Wayfair for clients as a designer and personally for several years. In the last 2 years however, the quality of the furniture, the packaging and the customer service have completely gone downhill. Furniture repeatedly shows up with missing pieces or damaged. They replace it with more damaged furniture and replacement parts for missing items take weeks to arrive. Customer service reps while friendly, are not given the authority to rectify the situation aside from sending replacement items that show up late and damaged making them order processors, not actual customer service representatives. I've spoken to several designers that have had similar or even identical issues and we not only refuse to use Wayfair going forward, we advise people to avoid them at all costs.

    This company went from being a trusted, respected partner with quality, affordable furniture and stellar customer service to a company that does not care about the quality of their merchandise or their customers once they have your money. Plenty of their competitors are happy to take their business and actually care about their reputation not just the bottom line.

    I received an email today titled "Last Request Before Collections: Wayfair Order..." which says A) "We have made attempts to contact you regarding payment but have not received a proper response" and B) That I owe money for a previous order. Not only have I never received any prior notifications about an outstanding balance, but also the order in question had its shipping fee refunded to me because they never sent the original item and I was not paying for expedited shipping.

    This email is absolutely unacceptable and I do not take kindly to the threat that they will "take legal action". They're trying to bully me into paying money I do not owe.
