Worst customer service! Save the headache and buy from somewhere else! Got half of what I purchased. Ordered a kitchen hutch and got ONE BOX OUT OF 2, They can't tell me where it is or when I'll get it, I asked to get a refund and I'll send back the box I got, they said I can't until I get the other box!! If I ever get it.. Been waiting 2 weeks still nothing.

Horrible customer service! My parcel el was delivered to California and I am in Canada. With clear evidence of this, I cannot have a refund for who knows how long. Ridiculous!!! Last time I ordered from them!!!

Ordered carpet squares and they shorted me, ad says 24 tiles per pack when really 18 tiles per pack, didn't catch it until it was installed, have the shipping paperwork and bill of sale to prove it, Wayfair's response, "Sorry can't help you"

If you are lucky enough not to get defective merchandise it is fine. If the defect presents itself after 30 days you are screwed. Basic substandard merchandise from Asia and not intended for long term use. Perhaps if they spent more on customer service and less on advertising they would garner a loyal customer base. No more Wayfair for me!

I purchased an absolutely beautiful tree bench for about $350. After 2 week the priced dropped to about $250. Their policy is to not do price adjustments nor credit or any form of a refund. I was very disappointed.

Ordered a new rocker chair; box arrived open; asked for the “open box” price in the form of store credit. Wayfair denied the box was ever opened even though I sent pictures. Wayfair also argued the factory tape had been cut. The chair was pushing through the lid when it arrived. No damage, so no credit. I expected a factory sealed box not someone’s return.

I purchased a modular sectional. The left and right bases were different sizes. I returned the sectional. Initially, on the website, the return shipping fee was $90.25. I spoke with a representative and was told I would not be charged a return shipping fee and would received a full refund. I did not receive a full refund and was charged $160.54 return shipping fee. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I have chat screenshots of the representative stating I would receive a full refund and Wayfair is fighting the dispute. Order at your own risk. Zero stars!

The product ordered was advertised as White Glove delivery and assembly. Up until delivery, I received notifications that product was confirmed to be shipped and assembled. I received a call about 3 minutes before truck arrived informing they would not be assembling product. That's the entire reason I purchased it through Wayfair. I could have bought from many other suppliers at less expensive price. Will never buy from them again. Poor customer service. They don't care.

The furniture was scheduled for delivery between 11:30-3:30. At 7 pm I called because tracking was giving conflicting information. Customer service was very unhelpful and was uncaring. It was dumped in my driveway at 8:00 pm, 4.5 hours late. The person was to help me put it inside had to leave (4.5 hours late/no updates). It was marked “keep dry” but was left out in the weather. Wayfair needs to get a better delivery system and have better tracking information. The website was EXTREMELY difficult to use for checking on the shipment because the words overlapped and the text boxes were inactive. Will I use them again? Very doubtful.

I ordered a 5 piece outdoor furniture set for $2088. I received 5 cushion covers. These people are incompetent. Do not buy from them. Even better, they let my ‘furniture’ aka cushion covers, sit in a warehouse for 3 weeks before I had to call them to deliver. What a frickin joke.

I ordered a sheet set, then a few days later a bed cover and pillows. My pillows are our for delivery today and bed cover comes Monday. Those sheets are still setting at Wayfair warehouse. Tried to cancel the order. I will not get those sheets until the 20th. Wayfair ship their items with a snail. Will never order from Wayfair and I will return the sheet set to prove a point. How can I get items I ordered after I ordered the sheets. And got to wait 10 more days to receive the item. They might have good deals but I can order from another company, NOT WAYFAIR.

I purchased a BBQ 3 weeks ago. When I was expecting it to be delivered, I got an email that the order has been canceled. I called to ask for the reason and was told that the item was defective and no longer in production. Today I saw that Wayfair is still selling it but for a higher price. I called again and was told that on their sale contract it has been mentioned that Wayfair can cancel the order as they find fit. I will no longer purchase anything from this company and have deleted my app. I do not recommend them to anyone.

Updated on 08/10/2024: Second time in two days. I received a metal filing cabinet yesterday that was beyond usable. I was not given a choice of a full credit. Today they sent me a new cabinet, it's not the same one (less expensive) and it's missing parts. Did another online chat and they will not pick up the two cabinets. I am VERY unhappy with Wayfair and will no longer shop with them under any circumstances. I now have to return both items. They are telling me they have no way to have a pickup arranged, “not currently available” so I am responsible for locating and driving to an actual FedEx location on my time and using my gas for an incident that is their fault 100%.
Original review: I've ordered a few items of late due to a new home. I have had to return half of them due to damage. The only problem with this is the nearest FedEx return place is 45 minutes away. I am not the one who shipped damaged items and Wayfair takes no responsibility in having the item picked up at the drop off point. This is unreasonable and they do not accommodate the customer or even try to help. I was told I have 30 days to return the damaged item or I will be charged for the replacement. I will not order from them any longer and if the second cabinet comes damaged, I am going to be really peeved. They also did not give me the option to just return the item for full credit.

People there is a very good reason Wayfair has such low rating! I recently purchased a Curio cabinet for Mother's day. These people delivered a damaged cabinet, they dropped a heavy glass on my old father's head who is on strong blood-thinners and completely damaged our hardwood floor. AND, to make matters even worse, they didn't take any responsibility for any of it. We are now stuck with a damaged cabinet and damaged hardwood floor which we must fix out of pocket. My father had to be rushed to the Dr. for CT scan to make sure he didn't have internal bleeding. STAY AWAY from these crooks!!! You can find all of which they carry elsewhere!!

I ordered a faux leather ottoman. UGLY!!!! Boxed it up, paid fedex $31+ for a house pickup. Got my refund LESS a (COST) of $4.00. Nowhere on the Wayfair site is there a reason for this. After multiple frustrating chats with some dumb bunny repeating the company line, I am still out this money. They’ve lost a good customer. Plenty of other more reputable companies with whom to do business.

I was invited 2 years ago to be part of their Tried and True program. I didn't even know what it was but you get to pick 2 items per month for free as long as you review it in 30 days. I did this for every item, including pictures and then suddenly in June I was told I was non-compliant; no not true. I can't get anyone to email me, call me, text me.. I have done some research online and found they have done this to multiple people and no explanation why. I have been a good customer for years but I wouldn't recommend anyone buying anything from them. Customer service says they can't say why like it's a big secret. If they randomly remove people they should just be honest.. I am an adult. I can deal with it but to tell me and multiple others they did something non-compliant is very dishonest. I won't deal with a company that deals with their customers like this. Beware of this company.

I have been a loyal customer of Wayfair for many years. I recently purchased an electric fireplace, which was delivered three days later and then he went on sale for almost $80 of what I paid for. I called customer service and asked if they could match the sales price. Said no that their policy is you buy it when you buy it and he goes on sale when he goes on sale. I will never buy anything else from Wayfair. Do not like your policy and people should know about them.

Wayfair has a great selection. And the prices are mostly reasonable. That's where the pros end. The cons are everything that happens after you click pay. I bought a fair amount of furniture via Wayfair when I was redecorating my apartment. I paid extra for assembly or white glove delivery. Since that moment, it has been nothing but a pain in the **. It's not Wayfair that assembles. It's Angi. They're even worse. From the moment I purchased the items, the excessive and often incorrect emails and texts from Wayfair and Angi were a constant source of frustration. One return didn't appear in their system, so I had to go to FedEx to confirm receipt and call back to make them acknowledge it. One of the pieces still hasn't been assembled (not sure if it's Wayfair or Angi to blame) adding weeks and weeks onto the process.
Angi really is a terrible partner, too. For all the time and agitation this has taken, I could've just put the damn thing together myself. I am skipping so many things that happened that I don't have enough space for. I'm giving My plan is to call Wayfair, get my money back and do it myself. Wayfair blows. Angi blows. Stick to Article (who might cost a tiny tiny bit more, but their assembly people are IN HOUSE) or Amazon (whose customer service, returns, and speed dances circles around Wayfair).

I bought a dresser from Wayfair. I am a truck driver and was not at home when the dresser was delivered. Wayfair is using my order date instead of my delivery date to invalidate my 30 day warranty from them. They say they have no contact information of any kind for the manufacturer. I assume they send up smoke signals when they wish to purchase products. If a company is hiding from the consumer there is a reason why. So I have a partially put together dresser sitting in my living room and no hopes of getting a replacement part. The issue is with one of the braces. The female end is messed up and will not receive more than a 4th of the screw. Since it’s a brace piece that’s pretty important. You would think it would be an easy fix but Wayfair won’t take care of it or provide me with a way of taking care of it myself.

I had purchased a new Wicker patio set for outdoors. I had it about 6 Months and the legs started to sag including the seats. The furniture is bending all which ways, and the wicker is unraveling. I tried to contact Wayfair. Sent them pictures and they asked if I tightened the Furniture. We already tried to tighten everything. It is embarrassing for me when people came over and I'm afraid my girls are going to sit on the furniture and it going to fall apart. I was also afraid that the furniture would give up and fall apart if someone sits on it. I contacted Wayfair. They said they would replace parts if needed. This furniture is beyond Parts. They would have to send a new set to repair everything on these chairs. I never got anyone that could help me.
I took out a 3-year extended warranty with Allstate. I contacted Allstate. They said I would have to contact Wayfair, and they couldn't help me. I'm so frustrated with this purchase. I'm bringing all the furniture to the dump! I would never shop onsite with Wayfair again!!! I will stick with purchasing Furniture from other well-known Companies. Very Unhappy! Darlyne

First time I returned to Wayfair and found out they have costly return fees. I bought big furnitures from Wayfair and thank God they were good and did not have to be returned. Recently, I bought a pair of lamps but they did not work out so I am returning them. At first attempt to submit a return, the cheapest option to return was $5+ so I chose that. That evening, I got an email from Wayfair saying the fee is less than $30. I was confused so I called them and they told me the $30 is the right fee. The lamps were $175.98 for two. I am bummed out paying $30 which is expensive. They said the $5 I saw was probably just a glitch in the system.

Told one day delivery. Ordered this for my nephew for his broken shoulder. Contacted Wayfair chat. Got a FedEx number and a dud manager number that's says no calls at this time and hangs up. Got another chat person and he repeated the same information. We knew where the recliner is. However the information did not compute with the service people. Took off work to put recliner together for nephew. Lost money and time. Wayfair's customer services is non existent. Beware people!!!

I made a purchase for one of my apartment communities and paid for the install so the site team would not have to perform the work. They sent Angi out to install the items and the person informed me it would take them longer to build the items and it was my responsibility to call Angi and set it up. I called Wayfair and the customer service rep at Wayfair said yup it's up to me to fix any issues with Wayfair and Angi, even though I didn't hire Angi to perform the work, he said yup. I will never purchase anything from a company that you pay for a service and they sub it out and make you fix their issues. Wayfair's customer service is one of the worst ever.

I totally should have looked at the reviews before I made a purchase with Wayfair! You basically are not allowed to cancel an order and will be required to pay for shipping to return the order that you did not wish to receive in the first place. As soon as I placed the order (and got charged on my credit card), I tried cancelling the order. It went to a status that says "Pending cancellation" or something, and 3 days later, I received an email saying that it can not be cancelled because it has been shipped.
During these 3 days, I have contacted the customer service several times (including right after I clicked cancel order), no one could do anything, as they said it's all done automatically by the system and I just had to keep waiting for the system to give me a notification, which is, 3 days later, it can not be cancelled because it has been shipped. And then the response is that I will now have to wait for the delivery, submit a request for return, and pay for the return shipping fee, which is unreasonable. I will never shop at Wayfair again no matter the price as their return policy is unfair to customers.

Delivered to another state. My invoice address was correct and it was delivered to another state. I tracked and warned Wayfair several times that destination on FedEx tracking is wrong. They were rude and told me to wait. After delivery confirmation to wrong address, I called again. Wayfair said refunds were not addressed for 3 days even with Fedex showing they took it to the wrong state. Incompetence and rudeness is off the charts. Finally received refund except for 29 cents so the battle marches on. What a scam.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I heard good things about Wayfair and decided to try it out and bought beds for my kids for our new home. I hoped the items would arrive as scheduled however, due to numerous issues my items still haven't processed after 1 month!! I have called in about 6 times and spoke with a number of people who promised to help resolve the issue, stating that I'd hear back in 1-2 business days. I NEVER once received any communication from them and had to again call in and explain the situation again. This happened 4 times. I finally spoke with a woman named Jen who managed to sort out the entire situation in a 10 min phone call, it was a miracle.
I added something to my order which caused the same initial problem again. I called in again hoping to be able to sort out the problem as easily as Jen had. I was being told by two people that they absolutely could not fix the problem and I'd have to wait another 1-2 business days to hear back yet I'd still never heard back from the initial person that was supposed to contact me in 1-2 business days at the start of the month!!! I told the gentleman I'd like to speak with Jen in hopes she could repeat her solution and get the order shipped but I was told that it wasn't possible and was laughed at.
I'm completely outraged by this horrible company and their joke of a customer service department. I'm convinced they lie and make excuses to be called back at a later date when there is no intention to call back, at all. It's incredibly unprofessional for an order to take 1 month to simply be processed, and that there is no other solution than to go through a "back room department". It's complete lies.
The only honest thing about this company is the one woman who actually understands her job and customer service, Jen. I will share my story on all my social media platforms, with all my friends and family, coworkers, strangers, to beware of this company. What an utter disgrace! I will never give my business to this company again. My father was going to use this company to buy furniture for his apartment buildings and cottages but after I warned him about this disgraceful situation he will be doing the smart thing by taking his business to a reputable company that values their customers. Who needs the added trouble of contacting customer service this many times in a month just to have an order processed! Absolutely horrible company.

I ordered a Rubbermaid Roughneck Storage shed on July 20, 2024, which I expected to be delivered by July 28, 2024. When it didn’t arrive, I checked the order status on the Wayfair website, and it said “processing”, “expected delivery Monday January 01”. For obvious reasons this delivery date was unacceptable, so I called customer service to cancel the order. I got through to Briana, who told me that it was too late to cancel the order, even though it hadn’t shipped yet, but that I would be issued a refund anyway. What Briana never mentioned was that Wayfair would withholding a $100 cancellation fee. So, imagine my shock when I was only refunded $312 on an item which cost $412, and which Wayfair never shipped.
I was feeling pretty angry about this, so I emailed customer service, and got this response from Abbigayle - “I’m truly sorry to hear about the inconvenience you’ve experienced with your order BEING OUT OF STOCK,” and “Unfortunately, since our customer service agent was unable to cancel the order in time, a return process was set up instead. With our current return policy, a return fee is applied to cover the cost of processing the return.” $100 to cancel an order when the item was never in stock in the first place??? Not to mention that their website said the item WAS in stock when I placed the order, or I never would have placed the order in the first place. Don’t make the same mistake I did - order from Walmart or Amazon instead.

Products' quality has really gone downhill. Customer service is virtually unattainable. Shipping times are ridiculous. Nothing is ever in stock, and takes months for it to come back in stock. On top of that, I think the biggest slap in the face is after spending thousands, yes, thousands of dollars at Wayfair I decided to make another large purchase. This time I thought why not use a Wayfair credit card because I could pay over time. I am currently remodeling my home, that would give me some flexibility. After doing the pre-qualification I did not pre-qualify??? Really Wayfair??
I have an excellent income, have purchased my own home, and have a credit score of 825, no other debit... Well, needless to say I will definitely be shopping elsewhere. I had already have been due to the reasons I had stated previously. But this just sealed the deal. Wayfair, I don't know how you're going to stay afloat if you keep treating your customers badly. I know many people who have abandoned Wayfair for the reasons I stated above. You have an item that I can purchase elsewhere, it was just a little less with you. However, I will happily pay more to shop at some place that values me spending thousands of dollars with them, and isn't a hassle when something needs to be returned or is shipped broken.
Just a few things that I've experienced with my long run shopping at Wayfair. I'll give a brief example, I ordered some end tables, they came broken, had to replace them, was not compensated and had to go through the hassle of returning the broken ones, the new ones came broken, we tried this one more time, and again broken. The boxes in transit were still intact, they were actually broken prior to shipping which tells me quality control is clearly an ongoing issue. Bye-bye Wayfair.

Wayfair does not stand behind their products. We received a damaged piece of furniture. Dealing with their customer service was no help. Offered 15% discount, felt this was not enough was told to contact manufacturer. I was not going to deal with a 3rd party told them to apply the 15%, then was told they could not do that.

Ordered a sectional. At checkout, the address reverted back to my previous address which is hundreds of miles away. Attempted to cancel less than a minute later, and got a message saying that it was too late, and that order was processing. Called customer service, as it has been mere minutes since placing order, and the cancellation button was still there. Told there was nothing they could do about it. Once I receive the item, then it can be returned. An item that will be delivered over 600 miles away. Never have I had a problem with cancelling an order as most companies have some type of grace period immediately around the time of ordering to make changes or cancel. I will never purchase from this shady company again.

I had ordered a recliner chair in gray that looked plush and comfy. Not only did they send the wrong color, but apparently the wrong fabric as well. Terrible quality for an over 200+ dollar purchase. When I asked for a refund, they instead offered me a 20% discount to their website and that I could keep the chair while they keep my money. A website I will NOT be buying from again.

The absolute worse online experience I have ever had. I purchased a large order of slatwall on 7-9-24. I received SO many notifications about my package being delivered and shipped. The 1st package was "lost". They offered to cancel the order or have it replaced with no charge!! UMMM no charge?!? Of course there would be no charge?!?! I just need my items!!! Then again got many confirmations it was being delivered today, then I get notified that it is still in the warehouse and hopefully, I would receive it by 8-8-24?!?! This place is TERRIBLE!!

Several packages that are "In-Stock" ship out extremely late or not at all. They don't update the status promptly or at all. I ordered a in stock item on July 4th and it was suppose to arrive on July 25th, 26th, 29th. When I called to find out they say they to call back in 4 days to find out. What poor customer service.

Wayfair is only a "pass through" seller. They will not make good on any damaged goods sent by one of their vendors. Beware of buying from this company. I needed an air conditioner for company that was coming on the 20th of July. I purchased this item open box which as Wayfair states, "The item is in like-new condition and has been inspected by our returns department. We make every effort to look for any indication that the item is defective, damaged or will not work." It arrived broken in so many ways and with no exhaust hose, broken upper vents, smashed condenser coils, no window adjustment, no remote and rear drains that had been cut off so they could not be fixed. The cost to repair it would have been almost as much as the purchase price plus considerable hassle. It was obvious that this unit had been used a long time and was not truly fixable.
I was told I could have my purchase money back and then I could donate it if I couldn't fix it which would not be the right thing to do. It had been used and showed major unfixable damage. The local county dump wanted $50 to dispose of it. I am now paying what the shipper (not Wayfair) would probably have had to pay to dispose of it. This appliance is 7 years old by model number and doesn't look even look like the picture Wayfair advertised. I have been used to dispose of garbage by Wayfair and they say "that is my problem not their's"; they do not care. I ended up with it and it is my responsibility to dispose of it. This company ONLY cares about their bottom line. I will never buy from them or any of their affiliates again.

Don't have an issue and don't be disabled. They want photos detailed to prove they're not at fault. I had a stroke. Limited usage of arm and visually impaired. Doesn't matter. “Figure it out.” Got to prove your case like you an either a criminal or liar. Indescribable experience each time.

By far the absolute worst experience in furniture delivery I have ever experienced. Purchased a dining room set which was delivered missing the hardware for 2 chairs and the table. Waited for FedEx to deliver the hardware and scheduled the assembly. No one showed up to complete the assembly and then I realized that the hardware for the table is also missing. Waited for FedEx to deliver the hardware for the table and now that I finally have all the hardware but not able to schedule the assembly.
If you are thinking about purchasing from Wayfair think again especially if you are waiting for their White Glove Delivery service. Customer service cannot complete the scheduling. This is done with another department and if you call them during the day when they are busy you will be told to call back and be immediately disconnected from the phone call. Have had 3 boxes and a table laying unassembled in my dining room for over 3 weeks now. Terrible unprofessional company.

I am writing to formally express my profound dissatisfaction with a recent order placed through the platform, specifically for a gazebo. After investing significant time and effort in assembling the gazebo, it became apparent that essential parts were missing. Upon contacting your customer service, I proposed a practical solution involving a discount, which would have allowed me to modify the gazebo to suit my needs. Unfortunately, my request was denied, and I was instructed to disassemble and return the item.
This process was exceedingly frustrating, considering the substantial amount of time already spent on assembly. Moreover, the return instructions specified that the item must be returned in its original packaging, which was impossible given the circumstances. Adding to my frustration, I was informed that replacement parts would take at least ten days to arrive, leaving me without the product I paid for and with no viable alternative. The refusal to provide a discount, coupled with the cumbersome return process, indicates a disregard for customer satisfaction. This experience has significantly tarnished my perception of Wayfair. The website's inability to accurately fulfill orders and the unwillingness to rectify mistakes are concerning.

Was planning on ordering a large area rug today. When scrolling through the sizes of the SAME rug, the colors went from dark vibrant colors to very pale. (in the exact rug - same color, just different size option) 8x10 showed a deep teal and orange, 6 x 9 showed a pale cream with blue and peach. I called customer service to ask if colors were more vibrant or pale.
Man with not very good English told me “I can’t tell you colors - go look at website“. I told him I was and pictures were inconsistent and I wanted to know before ordering what color it is because shipping an 8 x 10 rug back would be difficult and I’d be out shipping cost to return item. He was rude and spoke over me about 4 times and said “our website is fine - go look at pictures“. I assured him I had and that was the very reason I had the question. He got rude with me again telling me to just look at pictures and hung up on me. Wayfair- you just lost my business!! Far too many choices out there for my money that has better customer service skills. I only give 1 star because 0 stars isn’t an option.

Although Wayfair itself will tell me something will be delivered on a certain day. The delivery company doesn’t deliver on that day. They Charge for extra delivery and then don’t show up or show up when I’m not home and talk the Handyman into letting them delivered into the garage which I paid to have it delivered into the room! Wayfair doesn’t have network of delivery, which then causes problems overall. I absolutely will not order anything from them ever again. I don’t care if I save $300 or not.

I bought 2 sets of Ralph Lauren sheets. After searching their website for what seemed ages, I bought what I thought were percale sheets. $89 for one set, $59 for an "open box" set. Both sets are not percale (nowhere on website does it say sateen) so I returned the first set. $15 and a major pain to return. 2nd set is poor quality, but not returnable. 1 wear and wash, the corner seam has opened and unraveled. I took pictures and will try to get my money back. NEVER buying from Wayfair again. BUT, although the customer service web bot was useless, the rep I talked to was very helpful.

It was a huge disappointment when I received a mirror and vanity light bar. It looks nothing like the pictures. Then I try to return it and find out I am paying to ship it back. I also reviewed the specific pieces on the Wayfair app only to have it removed within two minutes. I was very honest, not rude just stated the obvious, it is nothing like what was pictured. But nope they took it down, this is very dirty business practices. I have other pieces ordered for my bathroom remodel and I am so nervous as they are vanities and if they are as bad as the other pieces I will lose hundreds of dollars. So disappointed. They should NOT be allowed to remove reviews just because they are honest reviews.

Return policy is horrible. To send anything back they charge you a fee. Target, Kohl's and Amazon have the same or similar products with much better return policies. Even when talking to customer care they will not help you. If you try and make the return it has to be within 30 days of the order date and I would pay close to 30 dollars per to send back.

Updated on 09/23/2024: Bought leather chair from Wayfair manufactured by Andover Mills, a company owned by Wayfair. The so called leather is separating from the backing. This chair is defective! Wayfair had to contact manufacturer. They represented to me Manufacturer did not warranty the chair or be willing to repair or replace defective chair. I researched further and found out Wayfair own Andover Mills. After posting a complaint Wayfair offered me a 15% discount if I ordered more from Wayfair. I told Wayfair why would I order any future defective furniture when Wayfair does not stand behind its merchandise.
Original Review: I purchased from Wayfair a Kaehler leather La-z-boy type chair manufacturers by Andover Mills. As you can see in the attached photos the surface covering advertised as leather failed. Is this leather? Poor product quality. Wayfair and manufacturer will not stand behind their products. Buyer beware. This chair has never been cleaned with a product. Obvious product failure of so called leather covering.

Wayfair has an incompetent delivery management that design to fail (mostly). I purchased a dresser with mirror with white glove delivery. Wayfair white glove delivery is not white glove, rather a low grade delivery. They do not have control over the delivery partners and delivery partners conduct business dishonestly. The suspicion started with a text from delivery partners where they schedule delivery without checking customers availability. Text also includes scary scenario of them low grading your service/leaving the item in your garage.
Being proactive I called Wayfair And the delivery partners multiple time. Taking off from work just to receive the delivery, they sneakily left the item in my garage. Did not call, knock door or ring calling bell, + being dishonest about it. When reached out to Wayfair it’s clear they are not in control of their delivery management. I would not make large item purchase with Wayfair, would not recommend others as well. Look at the picture for their kind of white glove delivery.

If I could negative stars, I would...like -100 stars. Ordered a $5500 sofa with instructions to deliver on 8/5 or later due to not closing on the property where the sectional was to be delivered until that date. Was told that would be acceptable and a local logistics/delivery company would hold the sectional until 8/5. I currently reside in another state and the item was to be delivered to property in NV, which I won't be present at until...8/5. Delivery company decided to deliver last week despite clear instructions when I purchased. Current homeowner declined the delivery. Wayfair marked it as delivered. Since last week, I've tried numerous times and ways to get someone to follow-up and determine where the sectional is. Since Wayfair has not heard back from delivery company, they won't refund me for $5500 item that I did not receive.
Now talking to second manager that is promising she'd research after first manager didn't call back today (7/23) as promised due to technical issues (oh, and we learned she hadn't heard back from delivery company yet, which is why I figure she does not want to call back). All I want is a refund but they keep declining that and telling me they must have more time to research. Simple customer service....no item delivered, can't locate it, didn't do what you said you would do....all you need to do now is refund. Don't order a thing...$5 or $5000...good chance if you don't get what you ordered, you never will and you won't get refunded either. I have ~$15K+ more furniture items to buy..none will be bought on Wayfair. BBB complaint filed (there are hundreds and hundreds of complaints on BBB site). Will post this on every review site I can find.

I purchased some drawer pulls and knobs, but when they arrived the color was not what was shown on the website. They didn't match my cabinets so I had to return them. Wayfair charged me $34 shipping for a box that would have cost me $8.50 to ship back FedEx. Their policy is to have you pay high return shipping which is really not cool. I feel scammed.

Had to return a defective outdoor umbrella due to auto tilt not working. I no longer had the box. Wayfair wanted me to find a box or cut up several boxes and put together for a 6 ft long item... also they would not sent prepaid label in the mail for me. I had to either print it (no printer) or go to FedEx and pay them to print label. This was their defective item and I they made it very difficult to return. So they gave me $22 credit on a $110 item to keep as is. I am elderly and the return of the item was too difficult.

Constantly bad quality, delivery issues and terrible customer service. I get broken items. I get items that are advertised as solid wood that are made of plastic and pressboard. And then they either don’t want to take the items back or want me to pay for return shipping. And also manage to get large items, like file cabinets to some freight carrier by myself. Delivery is regularly delayed by days and weeks. Customer service is non existent. Each service agent says something different in direct contradiction to each other.
I am regularly told blatantly incorrect info. For example, when I got a smashed up file cabinet, they told me I could just put the label on top and FedEx would come pick it up without a box. Which is ridiculous. My bad reviews were rejected and would not go live. The reason there are so many good reviews is this - they don’t let you post bad reviews. The company is a total scam. It takes forever to contact a live person, and each experience requires 30 min or more several times a week to get the right item, to get restitution for broken items etc.

I placed an order for Aquasure Water Filtration kit via Wayfair Canada, Canada website not process it, the agent in Canada also could not place the order and transferred me to US side, Lian processed the order and asked me to pick-up the order from Niagara Falls in NY on July 16th, shipment came in 3 packaged, one arrive on the 16, second arrived on the 17 and on the 18th; on the 19th July FedEx showed the third package in Bloomington Ca; I paid for the hole system but neither FedEx nor Wayfair is willing to remedy the issue

Deceitful Advertising with "Living Room Seating Clearance." It picture is blue, priced at $259, when clicking on the item, the price JUMPS to $349. Agent confirmed the item on sale is the yellow item - I expressed concern about being deceived and got this reply: "I'm sorry for your concern, is there anything else I can help you with". Deceit is the first and often most telling indication that a company is unethical from the top down. Be cautious with Wayfair - they are not honest people!

We have purchased several rugs from Wayfair and had no issues. This time, we purchased one for the last room that needed a rug. As soon as we cut open the plastic bag, an awful smell appeared. I thought maybe it needed to be aired out but definitely didn’t remember that being the case with other rugs. My husband felt the plastic and said it was wet, inside the plastic. We thought it must have somehow gotten wet while being wrapped, so I contacted Wayfair. They said I could send that one back and they would refund us once it was received. I didn’t agree that I needed to take it to a FedEx location to ship back when it was something on their end. They then said we could either donate it or keep it. Well, we didn’t want to keep something that smelled so awful, and certainly didn’t want to donate it with that smell. We planned on tossing it.
A few days later, we received the replacement. The same exact thing. Awful smell and wet inside the plastic. I reached out to them again. They apologized and asked what I would like them to do. I asked them to schedule a pickup at our house for both rugs. They said they would do that and I would hear from a manager, so disregard the email about printing out the return label and taking to FedEx. I waited for several days and didn’t hear anything. I then reached out again and got a different person, who said that rug wasn’t eligible for return. I told them about my conversation and sent screenshots. They then said it takes about 3 days before I would hear back from a manager and I should hear from them soon. A week after, nothing. I decided to take both rugs to a FedEx location myself, but I shouldn’t have had to. Again, we never had issues with previous orders, but I was disappointed with this experience.

I finally have demanded a full refund. No one should have to wait 2 years for parts that were recalled. So I contacted Wayfair today and they stated to me that I had to go to the vendor. My answer was, I did not purchase from the vendor. I purchased it from Wayfair. That's not very responsible to go to the vendor. It's Wayfair's responsibility. Wayfair her needs to stand up to the vendor and take care of their customers.
As an interior designer myself and buying furniture there for customers, I will never do it again. The vendor refuses also. They said they are coming in soon. I am moving and I do not want to take this base of junk bed with me. I will never trust it. They will not return my money. Let that be a huge lesson to everyone else, that if you have problems wife there's not going to back you up and they won't refund their money.

I purchased a lift chair for my wife about 6 years ago; the power lift didn't work right so I called & they replaced it no questions asked. I recently bought two end tables & a loveseat. I had to assemble them myself, but they look and function well in our living room. I also ordered an entertainment center for our TV. It turned out to be a sideboard but still would have worked except while assembling it, a piece broke & revealed it was made of cheap particle board. I texted Wayfair, they deferred me to the manufacturer who I sent a picture of the defective part. They told me I needed to call Wayfair so I wrote them with pictures and requested a replacement for the defective part or a refund.
They wrote back and said they could give me a refund if I repackaged & returned the entire item. The box the item parts came in wasn't usable as I had to cut & tear the flaps apart because it was glued and stapled together. I sent them a picture of the box and they never replied. So now I am stuck with a non-assembled piece of furniture that I paid $197 for and has a defective damaged part which they won't send A new packaging box for me to return the items in or refund my money on. That's customer quality at The new Wayfair, we don't give a crap about your policy. I examined the other purchases I made & found they were made of particle board too. Want to save money, buy better quality stuff someplace else.

I ordered 2 privacy screens. 1 was great. The other showed up in a damaged box that was clearly repaired by the seller. It even had an Amazon sticker on the with a claims number label showing it was previously returned for damage! The screen was ripped and several locations had broken wood and damaged joints. Outrageous. I sent the pictures in and the best Wayfair could do was a 25% refund without forcing me to go through the effort of boxing up and shipping back this giant privacy screen. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else like I will in the future.

Wayfair has terrible customer service. I have had several incidents with product malfunction and damaged products that Wayfair refused to reconcile. Most recently, a mirror where the wire was not secured properly and Wayfair refused to send a replacement. The wire dislodged (while mirror was hanging in place) and shattered everywhere. Wayfair stated outside of 30-day warranty. Who pays $200 for a mirror and expects it to last only 1 month. Also refusing to escalate my case or let me speak to anywhere. Customer service is HORRIBLE and products are mediocre.

They sold me an expensive gazebo but listed the wrong size. They made me pack it up and ship it back after spending an entire day setting it up and realizing it wouldn’t fit (I measured before ordering, their listing was wrong), instead of giving a discount. If they had given a discount, I could have hacksawed it to make it fit. Not ideal considering the cost, but I would have done it. Nope. They’d rather eat the shipping than do right by their customer. I’ll never buy anything from them again.

As a complaint, I would like to express that I feel very disappointed in having made purchases at Wayfair. The return policy is abusive, to be honest, I was calling to return products that I had received, 2 with defects and two that I did not like the color of when I received them, and at Watfair they force you to keep the product unless you pay back the return. Very bad return policy that does not favor the customer but rather the online store, for me it has the worst references. I hope this helps others to be very sure before purchasing otherwise they will have to accept the product as is.

I purchased an item from Wayfair and was provided a delivery date at check out. When the delivery date passed and my item still hadn't been shipped I contacted the company to cancel the order and was told that the order could not be canceled. I was told it could be up to 6 days before I would receive an update. They can't tell me why my order hasn't been shipped or when it will be shipped. All they could tell me is that they can't help me. The customer service is horrendous. I've had a number of good experiences with wayfair but when you do have an issue and need to deal with customer service good luck to you!

So my wife and I spent hours trying to find the right bed for our 2 1/2 year old boy and finally found one on Wayfair. It was a police car bed with lights and we thought that would be fun for him. Finally after almost 2 months of waiting the bed arrived from China (which if I had known I wouldn’t have purchased) the stickers were barely on the bed, the LED headlights were falling off because the glue came undone. The from turn signal fell off, the police sticker was in a different language from the English language that was on the picture of their ad. This thing came in three huge boxes now what the heck do I do with it!! I called wayfair and this grouchy lady came on and tells me that I have to deal with the manufacturer in china! I don’t buy it from a manufacturer in china I bought it from wayfair! Never again will I buy something online. Way too much trouble anymore!!! Oh and then they tried to charge me a $184 return shipping fee!!

Will never use this company again. Order items on the July 5th. The items are shipped the following day on July 6th. Arrive in my city the week on Wednesday the 10th. Get a call to schedule delivery the next day on a Thursday. Only to be told it won't be delivered until the following week on Tuesday the 16th in a four hour window like people don't have jobs. It's a whole sofa being delivered so I need to be home. Not to mention I received an email saying it would be delivered on Friday the 12th when I'm off work.

Wayfair was always so amazing ! I’ve been a loyal customer for several years spending thousands of dollars and reviewing max stars in their reviews as well as recommended their furniture to friends co workers and family. Unfortunately recently I ordered a bed that was suppose to be here July 3rd. After several days I contacted Fedex and Wayfair. No one could tell me what happened and that it was en route. We continued to check and no movement. I had to reach out to wayfair multiple times and not much was done or information was given. I had to constantly be placed on hold with fedex and they explained they were unsure what happened to the item and that unfortunately did not know what occurred. They kept initiating investigations promising me to call me same day with an update but nothing occurred. I called wayfair and not much could be done on their end until 9th.
Finally after calling three times they tell me they got a message from fedex item was damaged. Why does it take me to call a billion times to be given that information. Then they said they could reorder but could not ship faster or ask fedex to. They offered me a lousy 10 percent coupon for a future purchase. It’s just so crazy to me how they treat their customers for lack in communication and lost items. FedEx is their shipping partner but If people are going to have to spend countless hours tracking their items and repeatedly asking for information it just isn’t worth it. The old wayfair always put their customer service hats on and made right by any mistakes according to other customers on the reviews. So upset they have gone downhill. Be careful ordering items from here. The process to just get information is terrible and they pretty much take no accountability. Shop elsewhere.

Absolutely mind Boggling to see how this company is still in business. We order a bed, drawers etc and some blinds. Not one item was complete. Bed had broken panels missing parts, incorrect parts included. Blinds came with missing parts and completely wrong size blinds than order. Every is pure garbage quality. This company needs to be dealt with. They are glorified scammers.

First Purchase from Wayfair. Just Purchased a Standing Desk on 5th of July. On July 6, the item was shipped, be delivered in 6 days (that's good but). On Shipping day, the price was dropped by 22% as a Canada day clearance (Canada day was on July 1 ????). When called the customer service, they said they run multiple promotions during the year. Once item shipped, there will be no price adjustment, you can return it if you want, you pay shipping (back) fees and you can know how much it is ONLY after you send the return form. So this left me on a bad note. It's completely a different experience than purchasing from amazon:
- No information on how much it cost to return an item the you did not already received (honestly I assumed return should be free but it's my fault not checking the return policy properly).

I spoke to a very nice representative yesterday and inquired about the current sale on certain expensive items. I was assured the sale would last another day and 20 hours. I went onto the website today (less than 24 hours later) to purchase the items I inquired about and the sale was gone. I reached out to customer service and explained what went on. I had the name and time I spoke to the original representative and that did not seem to matter. After speaking to 4 different representatives (I would randomly be reconnected to someone new, and having to explain it all again. Maybe connection issue, or didn't know how to escalate the problem?!), they refused to honor what the originally customer service representative told me less than 24 hours ago.
I am a firm believer in honesty and integrity, none of which was shown today. The last person I ended up speaking to actually started the conversation off with "and what would you like me to do?" After I nicely explained my story for the 4th time. If you plan on buying items and not needing to talk to customer service, then I say shop here. But if you have any further questions or were told something, do not trust they will honor their word. I would also be cautious of the pricing that is constantly changing. Rating 2 stars because the original representative(s) I spoke to were kind.

Ordered a bedframe that I wanted to cancel before the item even left the facility and they refused to process the cancelation. Now, they are charging me upwards of 110 dollars for a return when they could have just cancelled the pickup. Do yourself a favor, this company is no better than the an outlet store. Just stick with a walk in store where you can try, look at the furniture, and return in store without paying 15% the cost of the item (savings for them because they get to resell on your dime).

We purchased a bed on Wayfair labeled assembly required. Little did we know it was tightly packed in three boxes weighing nearly 300 pounds and 100 separate pieces and 300 fasteners. The reviews mentioned assembly of around three hours (I believe the reviews are fake). We are at eleven hours and counting! The directions are POORLY printed pictures with no words, many of the labels had fallen off the pieces, the fasteners are labeled wrong and combined in several packages. The pre-drilled holes are poorly aligned with the mating pieces and oversize the fasteners strip out before the mating pieces come together resulting in a very weak structure. We fear it's not useable for two adults to use. We are in our 70's and had to carry the parts to the lower-level bedroom in many trips. The box states returns are only accepted in the original box, impossible!

Updated on 07/02/2024: Ordered a Front Entry Door over a month ago. Nobody knew what was going on with it. Finally bring it and it’s dumped in my driveway. Michael the delivery driver was very rude to my wife and got in the truck and left. I had to pay people to get it out of my driveway. Wayfair and their delivery service sucks.

Worst shopping experience in my 42 years of life. Ordered this set of chairs along with a patio table and benches, and a couple days later saw they were listed as out for delivery in California... Problem is they're supposed to come to Wisconsin. So I started a chat with Wayfair to let them know something appears wrong. My patio set is out for delivery here in Wisconsin but these chairs are out for delivery in California. It's fine I'm told, they're on their way. Hours later I get my patio set, then get confirmation my chairs were delivered too, with a picture of someone else's house proving it. I reopen a chat and this rep tells me they were delivered to the address on my order, so Wayfair doesn't have to do anything to fix it, they don't have to refund or replace them. Completely unprompted this rep told effectively said whatever, you deal with it, Wayfair doesn't care. I will have to retrieve them myself... in California, from Wisconsin.
Of course, I have my order info showing the actual correct address in Wisconsin, where the rest of the order was delivered fine. Had the rep made even the slightest effort to see what happened it'd be clear this was their mistake. End chat because I have a short webchat for work, in customer service myself where this kind of behavior would earn a chat with the company president. After work, reopen chat to get something figured out. New rep, trying to be helpful and doesn't see this as my mistake, but they can't do anything for three days. So the chairs I ordered are confirmed delivered in the wrong state, I was initially treated like my business didn't matter and Wayfair didn't care about fixing this, and ultimately I'll just have to wait a week after ordering before they'll attempt to make things right.
This has been a truly terrible experience that could have and should have easily been fixed after I told Wayfair early on that something didn't appear right and they might have fixed it to prevent the mistake, or when I told them things were delivered in the wrong state, or when I once again tried getting help with what I ordered. Zero star experience. Will absolutely recommend everyone I know avoid Wayfair, shop absolutely anywhere else.

I purchased a 7-piece dining room set that was advertised as white glove delivery. The set was dropped off in a large cardboard box leaning against front door, even though it was supposed to be put together. The driver never contacted me 30 minutes before delivery nor rang the door bell or knocked. The best customer service could do is send someone out a week later to put it together while it sits out in the elements, not protected from the weather. I called customer service 4 different times and not even a mention of a discount because of my frustration. I took off work on the delivery day and now Wayfair's problem turns into the customer's problem because of a "glitch" in the system that was going on for 2 weeks. Very frustrating and wrong. I think Steve Conine should know this problem is going on with the very company he co-founded.

As a Declared Disabled Elder, I was told by Customer Service Purchase that Fedex could be contacted to arrange a better date so I could have help hired to bring it inside. Once purchased, NO promises kept. The original agent lied to me. Supervisor Daemon actually said to me, "YOU people" when describing the Disabled or Elderly when he was telling me how Rude I was... I was not Rude... not vulgar. I was specific and was assertive but I am never rude/vulgar nor shouting. He feared my voice out of lack of training... lack of sensitivity. He feared an old lady asking for a better drop-off date. Creep. Like the insecure do... they accuse falsely. Now I won't buy from any of them. Liars... Sorry but that's my experience. Many other shops out there.

I ordered a sofa set for my deck and it was on backorder. Wayfair said they were going to review it. After 2 months they cancelled my order because they could not fill the order but then I go on Wayfair and the same exact set is still for sale for more money. Basically they did not charge enough so they cancelled my order. They also had my money for 2 months. I want something done. It is very unfair. I want to order other stuff from them but feel like I was screwed over because they wanted 250 more dollars for the set now. Wayfair means Unfair to me!!!

I have bought 3 items in the past from Wayfair. 2 items were great. Third item which was presented as a beach table didn't quite meet the mark. It was way too close to the ground to be considered useful at a beach. It was more like a big tray. My biggest problem though is that I decided it was too small after ordering it and turned it right around and canceled the order. I don't know if I miss one last thing that I needed to touch as I was completing the cancellation but it said you ordered his being canceled.
Well my order was not canceled. I received the order. I had decided to give it to my grandson thinking that it would work for him being that he was a smaller person. But it was a real joke of a table and the fact that I had already canceled it anyway made me very angry that I had to pay to return it. It was an inexpensive item so the return fee was quite a large amount considering the size of the item and the cost of the item. I would warn people to think really hard and research the items that they purchase because their return policy is good as long as you're willing to pay for the return. I will not be buying anything else from this company. Especially after I made the effort to cancel the item. Just kind of makes me mad.

Very poor customer service - My husband had ordered a counter-height refrigerator which we determined later in the day would not work for us. I reviewed status online to see if it had shipped. Online showed it had not but the option to cancel was not available. I called customer service same day and was told it was out for delivery and I would have to contact the shipper. I was told by the Wayfair rep that she did not have the shipper info and we would have to wait until a shipper was assigned and received a tracking number. Then contact the shipper. The next day when I received the tracking number I contacted the shipper to cancel and they said I had to talk to Wayfair.
The bottom line was, we refused the delivery when it arrived. I called Wayfair to be sure we would not be charged for the shipping as we called them same day ordered but they said a shipping ticket had been created so we would have to pay for the return shipping. I spoke with Maryann at Wayfair to dispute the delivery fee and was told there was nothing she could do.

I have a business account, I am a general contractor, and for my jobs I buy here, or rather I bought, if you have a business it should be easy to return items that for some reason do not work for you. In my case I bought a cooktop for a client, the size is larger than what it is supposed to be, in conclusion it does not fit in the kitchen, it is new, how is it possible that they will not accept your return. I will never shop here again!!!!

Been a loyal Wayfair customer for years. Guess I missed the change in policy where if you don't like it, you can no longer return it without paying a hefty return fee. Purchased 4 stools; 2 days later, they are $66.00 cheaper on their own website. 2 Days!!! The stools haven't even arrived to me yet. ABSOLUTELY no customer service and no wiggle room. Refused to credit me the difference and if I return them or refuse them, they will charge me a $68.00 restocking fee. Even more than the discount. Won't be buying from Wayfair ever again. Fantastic buying experience at Wayfair. I bought a dining room table and chairs from Wayfair, everything about the purchase was perfect. Easy to search, select and buy on their website. Excellent communication throughout the process. After purchase, they gave me a shipping window and later sent me an email with a delivery day and time which was within the original window. I wasn’t going to be home during the delivery day and called customer service to change the date. Furniture arrived on the selected date and they assembled the furniture and placed in my dining room. They removed all packing material and cleaned all remaining bits of styrofoam clinging to the furniture. We are very pleased with our new dining table and chairs. I highly recommend Wayfair!

I ordered a turtle hutch. When purchased it online it says shipping will arrive at a certain date so I never got a notification of my purchase. So I got the app it said I received in 6 days. So when I checked the app it said a totally different date so I called to speak to the supervisor. She told me there 's nothing she can do & I need it to be delivered the time it's supposed to be delivered because it's for a turtle. She told me to put the turtle in a plastic container until I get the item. I said what I am not doing that that's animal abuse. She didn't apologize.

When I first received my shed the very last box had badly damaged main parts in it. I called. The one set of pieces they had no problem. But 4 of the panels had dents in them. They were smaller dents but I paid for a new shed. They guy was like, "Well it ain't that bad. I said, "I don't care. I want new panels." Anyhow yesterday the new box came. I was surprised it was the a whole brand new second box instead of just panels. Anyhow I started assembling the shed. All I put together was the frame. It was garbage. The screws weren't even staying in the cheap thin metal frame to hold it together. Then when I saw it had cheap plastic pieces holding the corners of the frame together I stopped assembly. The corners are one the most important parts that hold shed together.
I had been happy with Wayfair till I tried to return it. Hassle free returns. Yeah right lies!!!! They wanted me to put it back in boxes that i had to buy and pay for them as well as pay 53.00 for shipping. I called them. One rep hung up on me cause I couldn't hear her. The second rep was nice but said the usual. "It's not us. It's seller as well as you should have read return policy." So basically when you see HASSLE FREE RETURNS. IT'S A LIE. READ FINE PRINT. If I could give this company 0 stars I would! I placed an order for a mattress & box a few months ago, placing the order & the delivery went smoothly but when it came time to returning the box, that's when the nightmare began. I returned the box because I no longer needed it so I placed a request to have it returned. When you place the request, they're supposed to contact you with pickup arrangements, etc. A week went by and no one contacted me, I then called but was sent to VM. A few days later I decided to chat with an agent & explained the situation; she informed me that I had 2 options, I could either keep the mattress (she had to get approval on that first), or I could request a pickup time. I chose the 1st option, she then confirmed that she was able to get approval and that I would be getting a refund soon and that everything had been documented, okay cool.
So I'm thinking everything is all set, until I receive an email from a Wayfair rep stating that they received my request for a refund and that I had to return the box first before they could issue the refund; at this point I'm thinking to myself this is crazy because I just spoke to someone about this earlier who told me that I could keep the box and that everything had already been approved. I let the other rep know about this and then a 3rd rep responds to the email saying that the team reviewed the request for me to keep the box and denied it so I would have to send the box back for the refund. At this point I'm getting upset with the misinformation and unprofessionalism and just agree to send the box back; I then receive another email from the rep with a confirmation that the box would be picked up on a certain day between specific times (I can't remember the date).
I'm also told in the email that I would receive another email about 24-48 hours before the pickup date just as a confirmation. I never received that email and when the day arrives for them to pick up the box they never come. I'm livid now and reach back out to a rep who then tells me that the box was actually supposed to be picked up on a different day that I was told. I then provide her with screenshots letting her know what she was saying was very much inaccurate, she replies back stating that she had made a mistake and was looking at the wrong account and then proceeds to inform me that I never had a scheduled pickup time, in fact the company itself does not schedule pickup times, the customer schedules a pickup time therefore the information I was given was incorrect. I then am given a number to call to setup a pickup time because of course the rep can't do because they're incompetent.
I'm transferred to a manager and of course at this point I'm fuming while explaining the situation about how there was a scheduled pickup time days prior but no one came & this manager whose name I forget, had the nerve to blame me for the fact that I waited to call regarding the pickup that didn't happen. But the whole thing was straight chaos and confusion which is why I didn't even say anything right away; to make matters worse she told me that her dept couldn't help me anyway. She was extremely rude, lacks customer service skills, and was just awful, I was so pissed and just hung up on her. I then chatted with an agent for the last time who seemed nice but I was over it, she told me that she requested a pickup for me and that someone would get in contact with me. I waited a few days and even called the number for the pickup to no avail.
Finally I called my bank and disputed the charge; once I disputed the charge I got a text message and email with a pickup request to schedule my pickup time. LOL. When I finally dispute it that's when they decided to stop dragging their feet, either way it was too late. They did finally come get the box but it didn't matter either way because at that point getting my money back was all I cared about & my bank made that happen. I will NEVER use/recommend Wayfair again! Save yourself the headache & know that the other reviews are nothing but facts!

Very disappointed in the policy changes from Wayfair. I purchased a sideboard. It took 9 hours to put together and no matter how we tried we could not get the drawers and cabinet doors to line up properly. Called Wayfair for a resolution and was told to take it apart and send it back. It arrived in a long flat box that was packaged by the seller. No way anyone could repackage it the way it came. According to the customer service rep I could find more boxes and package it, then I could tell them how many boxes I had and they would send return lablels. Mind you, this was so they could send me another one! NO REFUND. I have shopped Wayfair in the past and never had this issue. I will NOT shop at Wayfair again. Also, when I asked to speak to a supervisor the rep said the supervisor would just tell me the same thing and when I insisted she put me on hold and then hung up.

I was redoing my kitchen so sometimes I would buy something and when I got it, it didn’t work. After receiving cabinet knobs I changed my mind from nickel to bronze. I asked to return to rebuy the bronze. It was 43 days and their policy was 30 days. I asked if there could be an exception made because I was rebuying in a different. They refused. I even asked for a manager and they refused. I told them to look at my account. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of merchandise over the years but that changed nothing. I will never do business with them again.

Assembly that I paid for was a no show. When I called they said the appointment had been rescheduled. Nobody texted me or phoned me to advise of that. Customer service put me on hold to speak to a supervisor then the phone went dead and nobody called me back. I came home early today from work specifically to be here for the assembly. Very poor customer service. They had my phone number and should have called me. My appt was for today at 4:30 with Carolos and now it says tomorrow at 9 am with Matt. Very disappointed whoever changed the appointment with no notice.

Don’t ever ever buy from Wayfair. We bought a couch for them, less than two years later it was broken. We bought two armchairs from them, less than a year later they broke. We bought a dining room table recently, and that will be our last purchase. Less than 12 hours after we purchased our table, we noticed that they had dropped the price significantly. They would not honor the price, They would not cancel my item and let me re-order, and the customer sales representative wouldn’t even tell me her name. Don’t ever ever buy from Wayfair. Be wary of Wayfair sales. Wayfair posted a shed with windows on sale. I ordered on and paid for it. They canceled my order with no explanation. I called them and they said that they oversold the item and it was on backorder indefinitely. I then spoke to their sales staff who told me that they had 70 of them in stock. They then passed me around to several managers who all claimed to be a top supervisor, each of them with a different story and all were full of lies. I looked up the senior people on their website and I asked to speak to each one of them. The Manager said that she did not have any of their numbers. They refused to honour the price and they finally hung up the phone. Beware of these people. Check their reviews. I can provide names if anyone is interested.

Wayfair is advertising delivery dates that apparently they have no way of honoring. If you are ordering something that you will be needing in a timely manner, I wouldn't buy it here and expect it to be delivered by dates they have listed.

Bought a children's bed in Aug 2023 and then in May 2024 the bed while laying on it randomly the frame completely splintered and cracked! Wayfair doesn't care even though a safety issue. Child and parent went flying and could've been hurt badly. Wayfair will not credit or refund and in addition they take no responsibility for safety issues with this children's bed. The bed and shelf with it was $1000 and now is in the trash.

I bought a bed, boxsprings, and mattress as well as bedding. The bed was missing multiple screws. Once a symbol in the mattress was placed, and I sat on the mattress I sunk all the way down to the metal frame. Trying to return the mattress somehow I’m responsible to get a giant mattress, deflated and crammed back in the box and it came in and then find a way to have it delivered to the FedEx store. It’s a scam and they offered me $20. Just mattress. Terrible quality.

Do not purchase anything through Wayfair. I purchased two ceiling fans for over $300 each with a manufacturer lifetime warranty in May of 2021. A week ago (in May of 2024) one of them stopped working. I called Wayfair about the issue to act on the lifetime warranty to get a replacement fan, and they gave me the phone number and web address of the supplier. The supplier phone number provided to me by Wayfair was a non-working number. When I visited the supplier website, I saw the company address was based in China—not a good sign. I filled out the email contact form on the supplier website and received no response. Meanwhile I was told that Wayfair was also trying to contact the supplier.
When I received a Wayfair customer service email saying they could not get ahold of the supplier and that basically nothing could be done, I called Wayfair back again and they provided me with a second phone number to try, which ended up being the cellphone number of some private, unsuspecting individual. Needless to say I was completely embarrassed and called Wayfair back promptly. Basically, as the warranty is through the Chinese supplier Wayfair claims they cannot do anything to remedy this situation on their end as the order is over one year old, and even though the supplier is unresponsive to both them and me.
This is the height of incompetence and consumer swindling. Had I known that Wayfair was just acting as a third-party seller, selling products made in China by companies that are unresponsive to customer inquiries at best, I would have never purchased anything through Wayfair. The least Wayfair could do is to step up and send me a replacement fan as the middle man who sold me a cheap product. I am beyond frustrated that I wasted $300 on a ceiling fan that stopped working after three years...

I ordered a pair of lamps at a reasonable price... That's where it ended. Was given a delivery estimate date and told I did not even need to be home for delivery. Soon after received a much later date. Was not happy but decided to let it slide. The delivery company came way early. I was not home. They left with my parcel leaving me a slip saying I had to reschedule so I called them asking why it was not left as Wayfair said I didn't need to be home... Their response was they were not aware of this and said they could try again tomorrow giving me a 12 hour window and if driver ran late it might run over to the next day and reminded someone had to be there...
At this point told that it was stupid policy to make someone wait around that long with no assurance it would even get there. At that point I said just send it back to Wayfair... My opinion is Wayfair shipping sucks and will never order from them again. To top it off Wayfair requires you to track your order back their warehouse and call them when it arrives then they will issue a refund as the warehouse does not communicate with the company.... Idiots... So if you want one of those hassle free returns that's the process!

Wayfair is a retailer that regularly engages is deceptive advertising. Wayfair shamelessly lies about pricing and puts "sale" and "deal" stickers over products where there is absolutely no discount being offered off their regular, everyday selling price. Wayfair takes to new heights the timeless scam of crossing out a supposed "regular price" to suggest you are getting a "deal." Example: a Cuisinart coffee maker that sells everywhere (including Wayfair) for $99.95. Wayfair currently has a "memorial day deal" sticker over their product listing for this product, implying you are getting a better price during the Memorial day weekend. They also imply with the crossed out price of $185 a ridiculously high "regular" price for the product. Wow- what a deal, right? Wrong. Numerous retailers currently have the same product priced at $99.95 -- and none of them are claiming their price is a "memorial day deal."
Moreover, none of them are deceptively suggesting a regular price of $185 for this item. Out of curiosity, I compared a couple dozen or so of Wayfair's other "memorial day deals" to competitors' prices and found that Wayfair's lying tactic is applied across their site. I don't mind paying the same price everyone else charges for a particular item, but why would I choose to buy it from a company that so shamelessly engages in deceptive advertising? I have a gift card that I can only use at Wayfair. It is the only purchase I will ever make from that company because I don't like being lied to.

I helped my daughter find some floor tile as she is remodeling her kitchen. Wayfair would not let her order a sample tile so she had to order entire box. A few weeks later she went to order the tile and it was out of stock with no date of return. She waited as long as she could and contractor needed material so she "settled" and bought locally. Went she went to return "sample case" they said she was passed 60 days and they couldn't "override return policy". It was Mayfair's fault! Terrible customer service. I donated the tile to thrift store and cancelled my Wayfair account. BEWARE.

I ordered a pantry from Wayfair around $600 that came late (so I wasn't expecting it), the package was destroyed and it was left in the rain. I was assured that I would either have a refund if it ended up being damaged or someone would come to my house to get it and assemble a new one. I got it together and many outward facing pieces are damaged. I have contacted them and opened tickets over half a dozen times. They have ignored all of them and say my only recourse is to disassemble (it took 14 hours to set up) and ship back to get a new one and assemble on my own again (if you're counting that's at least another 35 hours of work plus obtaining packaging for a 600lb item). That was not okay or what they promised. So after 6 open and ignored tickets they told me it is outside of the return window and that I can sell it on Marketplace to try to re-coup my money. I am furious.

I have been a customer of Wayfair for a long time... That being said in the last 7 months I have just had negative experiences. I ordered a bed in December that was then placed on backorder. I opened up three different cases regarding this bed and the issues were never resolved. (But that bed consistently said it was in stock, but my order was never filled.) Fast forward to now, I order a new bed (again). I updated my address at checkout, and it shipped to the wrong address (20 hours from me at our old address, how the address changed I'm unsure, it happens I wasn't upset by this).
I call FedEx to update the address PER WAYFAIR'S POLICY, there's a restriction on the order, so I have to call the shipper (Wayfair) to update the shipping address. Called Wayfair, they won't do it. I have to return the bed, and pay the shipping fee to return it, but I am not allowed to pay for a new shipping label to forward the bed to the correct address. So I don't get a new bed for the second time, and I am out $80 dollars or so.
I've opted to no longer shop with Wayfair because they do not do for their customers the way a large company like this should. Very disappointing to see how little they care once the item leaves their venue. As for product quality, it's not the best. I've ordered two couches from them, both were not as great as the description and both did not last more than 4 years. I've ordered a desk that lasted 3 years before falling apart. My lamps are still going strong, but I rarely use them. You get what you pay for I guess.

Worst experience buying a trundle bed from Wayfair. They delivered the bed with missing parts. And when I call them for replacements parts, they miss delivering more parts. This cycle goes on and 2 months later I still do not have all the parts. I can’t even return as they won’t take it back without packaging. My kids have been sleeping with no beds for 2 months now.

I have recently experienced fiberglass contamination from a memory foam mattress and went through hell to have my home remediated. Upon buying a new mattress that was fiberglass free, I also bought an upholstered bed frame from Wayfair. A couple of months later, we noticed fiberglass shards again and called the remediation company and yes, the frame had FG.
Cleaned again and during the negotiation process with Mayfair support, I found out that another bed and frame I purchased from them was also shedding fiberglass. This time I had a sample tested at a laboratory with documented chain of custody samples that tested with elevated levels of fiberglass. They sent me a letter from their vendor that rejected my findings and suggested that the contamination may have been a result of my work as an electrical contractor. The judge will decide if there is a lack of proper inspection of imported materials from China. The label on the bed frame and the Chinese test lab certification do not match.

Not one of people could give me any concrete answers on how this futon will be picked up or how it was going to picked up. All I have received was the runaround in this matter. If I hadn't just wasted an hour and fifteen minutes chatting with customer service, only to have the person I was talking to disconnect and a new person come into the chat who needed everything to be re-explained, I'd have the energy and time to write a more thorough review. If you want a very tall and heavy package left on the top of your steep, shallow front steps, leaning against your small door frame, ready to fall over onto someone on the sidewalk, in a neighborhood with a lot of package theft, with no warning, on a different day from the one they said it would be delivered on, then...Order from Wayfair! And if you want to try to talk to their customer service people about it and waste half your day doing it, even better! Or you could just order from another company.

Poor customer service and not clear on what you are purchasing. I ordered a 4ft by 18ft round Intex pool so l thought, turns out the small print said it was a different size so l immediately contacted them to start the cancellation process less than an hour after l ordered it. First off it seemed like they took their sweet'ol time figuring things out then they said they said my cancellation request was submitted (remind you this was less than an hour after l purchased this product).
Then 5 to 6 hours later l get an email saying sorry but my cancellation request has been denied and that they are shipping the order that l cancelled anyway and said if l still want to return it that l will have to wait until l received the product that l didn't want in the first place. So future customers beware. I would not recommend buying anything from this company to anyone. This was my first and last time I ever deal with this company. It shouldn't be named Wayfair. It should be named Waynotfair.

Got email saying replacement would be May 18th, no call from them say anything. Called them and after 4 phone calls they said was on back order until Nov 2024 maybe. Who wants summer furn. in Nov. then told me it would take 3 to 5 days to give me money back but they took theirs that day I ordered. I would not do buy with a company like Wayfair again.

I really used to enjoy shopping at Wayfair, but I have found in this time of consumers tightening their/our budgets, Wayfair is clueless. The items I have had in my lists seem to "magically" get their prices jacked up. Especially, items out of stock of which I have asked to be notified when they are back in. It seems as though Wayfair wants to punish their customers for waiting and waiting for items and/or sizes to come back in to stock. They should be appreciative that we are so patient. So, I have begun searching other websites for what I want.

Wayfair customer support has been horrendous. We purchased a blue rug from Wayfair that bleeds on the floor when damp. We contacted customer support to have the product returned due to the defect. The rep said, "Okay, no problem." The return label never arrived in my email. Contacted customer support again, and they marked the rug for return and sent the return label, BUT he charged a shipping fee of $5.19 without any conversation--sneaky. This is a bad product. Why should I being charged for shipping on an item that is being returned due to a defect? WayUnfair does not get my recommendation.
We have an ongoing issue with four barstools that we purchased from them. They took full payment before they would begin building the stools. They continue to push out the delivery date months at a time. Every time we call, each customer representative seems clueless that the order is to be delivered to our house and not the store. They also seemed to think it was okay for us to pick up one stool that is ready and get the other three stools in a couple months when they are ready. I guess that I am supposed to assume that the fabric will still match months later.

I just purchased a 2200.00 dining set for the sale price of 600.00... the following day our 600.00 was returned due to an internal error i was told....but along with that we received an ad for the exact same set for 2000.00. This is a classic case of bait and switch (fraud).... When asked for their legal department phone number or the full name of the person I was dealing with they replied they were not allowed to provide this information.... They told me also that they don't have a legal department and that they have the right to cancel any order during processing, but if the money was accepted then the process is over right. How this type of illegal practice is allowed I don't know but obviously they feel above the law....Trying to get a legal representative is almost impossible as it reverts you back to customer service whom I was referring to at the start... Be cautious of purchasing here...

I bought a chair that was not accurately described. Wayfair will not refund the full amount, and requires $30 to return the item. I just wasted 30 minutes putting it together, another 30 minutes with customer service, and now I have a chair I cannot use because the seat is too small, and it's too tall to roll under my desk.

Do not rely on Wayfair pro services. Do not buy something you can’t move or use on your own. I have a gazebo that has yet to be installed because they’ve rescheduled three times due to no available pro services. I told them just schedule me when you know someone’s available and they said they can’t do that because pros work off their own personal schedules so all they can do is request a pro and hope one picks up the job. I never would have purchased if I’d known about their ineffectual services because I'm unable to build this on my own. To think I fretted on spending the money and now it’s just sitting there in boxes.

My family was told Wayfair was a good place to buy from and that they help you when you have problems. In our experience that was not the case. They push you pass your 30 day window as they call it for returns or they send you the wrong parts for the items you need parts to. Their customer service department can’t get their heads out their butts to help you fully and just give you the run around. We spent over 900 dollars with them for them to treat us like ooo we don’t care. We have gone back and forth this company many times and had to jump through hoops to try to get things done.
I have even had to buy more parts from a hardware store to fix some of the items cause they did not send the right parts and they took weeks to send the parts they did send. This company is full of crap and I will not recommend this company to anyone at all they do not take care of customers or care for them, they see them as dollar signs only and not the people who are keeping them in business.

Hi Team, I have serious feedback about the delivery of heavy items, please double confirm it's getting delivered to the right place, I am talking in reference to my recent order (#**) since it was delivered on Friday and we can't have it out in front of someone else house we decided to pick it. During this, my wife's right shoulder got injured and she is suffering that pain. I am seriously disappointed with this. This should not happen to us or anyone else for that matter.

Literally everything I've bought from them has fallen apart within 1 year. Horrible quality! I'd purchased a dining room table and the stain came off it all along the edges, 2 beds that literally broke, and a bureau which chipped and paint came off. All look like garbage within 1 year with no explanation.

I ordered a Recliner from Wayfair on 5-5-2024 & was told it was Delivered on Wednesday 5-8-2024. The driver Delivered it to the Wrong side of the Apartment Complex, and one of our Maintenance Men brought it to my Apartment on a Dolly!! Delivery Driver’s NEED TO PAY ATTENTION to Addresses!! I Ordered Sunbrella Cushions from Wayfair. Their Supplier sent me the wrong size (by almost 2 feet in length). I contacted customer service via email-with NO response of resolution. I Called Customer Service and a ticket was put in and was told a Manager would call to resolve within 24 hours. 2 days later I called, as I received No Response. They wanted me to Pay almost $15 and drive to a Fed Ex Shipping station to return them-over 1/2 hour away. When I spoke to the manager, JOSEPH, finally I was told that I could ONLY refund them and they would NOT arrange to have the Correct ones that I ordered and PAID for shipped to me.
Now I have to wait for the $$ to be Refunded to my Credit Card before I can REORDER the Correct size from a reputable Supplier. I am Disappointed, as they were a gift for Mom for Mother's Day. I will NEVER deal with Wayfair again!!!! AMAZON is the way to go. Goodbye. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM PEOPLE WHO DON'T CARE! VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED.

Ok I ordered a recliner and paid with 2 different cards. They kept saying order on hold. I kept calling every day. They kept saying they have a problem with one of the cards. There was nothing wrong with my cards so someone finally call me and got it right. Then they say after my payment oh the recliner is out of stock. It’s gonna be another week. So why didn’t they tell me that before so I could order something else. Somebody don’t know what they are doing. Anyway I hope it’s worth the wait.

I ordered a 20 x 30 wall art piece. It was to be delivered to my apartment at which point I would sign for it. The FedEx driver dropped it off at the front door and let a stranger sign for it and I have not seen the order since. I advised Wayfair and they took a week to investigate this issue. They asked me to call back on Friday. I called back and they had no information. They offered to resend my art. I’m not going to take that chance again.

This review is of the customer service received by Wayfair Resolution Department and the CEO Mr. Shah. I purchased 3 dresser on April 8th, after receiving 2 of the dressers and I packaging I discovered one was damaged as it was pressed wood and the corners had been crushed. I decided after seeing the quality to return all three and contacted the company to initiate the return. I interacted with Jamil S. In their resolution department and he processed the return for the 2 unopened dressers and sent the return label as well as set up the pick up by FedEx. After initially not being picked up on the schedule schedules day of April 15th FedEx did pick up on April 16th. With The damaged dresser I was required to send in multiple pictures and after confirming the damage Wayfair then required me to pack it all up and return, again Jamil handled the return and pick up.
The first return, I was notified that they only received one regardless of the fact that FedEx picked up all packages from My Home which consisted of two different tracking numbers which Wayfair confirmed the tracking numbers but told me that the two tracking numbers belong to the same dresser, but they were on two different boxes. Then I returned the damaged dresser on April 29 to be notified on May 8 that they received the package, but the weight was not consistent with the original dresser weight and that I needed to send a remaining dresser. Wayfair is in its practices. Do not trust this company when it comes to a return because they will make you financial hardship process but they that Incompetent and inefficient.
I am being forced into paying for two dressers that I do not have in my possession all because Wayfair has an inefficient process of receiving packages into their warehouse and confirming and no process of tracking through FedEx what was picked up from a customers home. Do not purchase anything that you think you may have to return because you will be forced to pay for it, you go through the process of returning. This is the highest form of impractical processes and I can only imagine how many other people Wayfair has done this too which I’m sure counts for hundreds of thousands of dollars profit for them. They do not care about the customer experience.

I've made a large purchase with Wayfair over the phone. All of the items arrived as scheduled with the exception of a $1,500, all in one kitchenette. It has now been nearly a month where they said that it was delivered although my ring camera shows that the truck pulled up did not deliver it and left. I have made repeated phone calls to Wayfair and submitted multiple tickets all with no reply. Judging from the 90% of 1 star reviews out of 6,300, this one too shall fall on deaf ears.

I'm very disappointed in the way that they keep hammering me with emails LONG after I've requested that they unsubscribe me. I purchased a few things, spent several hundred dollars and left quite happy with what I purchased...however...since that time it has been non-stop emails and even phone calls from them!! I ordered a queen-size bed frame from Wayfair on May 2, 2024, it was supposed to arrive May 3rd.., it did not arrive, then I tracked it and a FedEx said Schedule to be delivered the 4th, nothing happens, the 5th nothing. The 6 of May I called Wayfair to cancel and I still have not received the bed frame and they won’t let me cancel... No they said, if I cancel I have to pay the return shipment... this is insane! STAY FAR AWAY FROM WAYFAIR!! I bought a 3 piece furniture set in mid-February, and it was supposed to be delivered by February 28th. A month later, I got the couch and the chair. Apparently, the loveseat was lost and then back-ordered. Less than 24 hours after receiving the couch and chair, the lights went out on the couch and they wouldn't turn off on the chair. Shortly after that, the chair stopped reclining. I called Wayfair and they gave me a discount (aka partial refund) because of the lights only, and told me that they would send out a technician to fix the chair. I said that was all fine and I wanted to keep my furniture. My loveseat was finally delivered in mid April (2 months later). The same day the technician came out to fix my chair. He took it apart and said the switch was bad and he needed to order a replacement switch because he did not have one in his van and I would be contacted in 3 days to schedule him to come back out.
Over a week later Wayfair emailed me to tell me that the parts were ordered and expected to be shipped by April 24th. On April 23rd wayfair emailed me to tell me that the order could not be fulfilled. After I replied to that email, upset of course, I was told, by Nariah, that I could either return the entire set or keep it damaged. She/He said that because I accepted the refund for the lights then I waived my right to get a replacement chair. I do not want to return my furniture set because I will have no other furniture in my living room.
I tried explaining that the partial refund I received was only for the lights, and I was not made aware that I would not be able to get the broken chair fixed or replaced if I accepted. The representative then stopped responding to me. So now I am stuck with broken furniture because Wayfair will not stand behind their products. Unless you have money to just give away, then do not buy these defective products. I'm now having to contact the BBB. Stay away!

I purchased two fans from them and bought a protection plan for 3 years. I bought it on May 3 and received the fans after that date. I just checked on something else on Wayfair and noticed I had the warranty. The fans stopped working last year. I tried to file a claim and they said it expired from the order date (why would I want a warranty for a product that is not in my possession). Of course instead of starting the warranty from when I received it, they said it was when I ordered it on May 3rd. Not when I received it, be aware.

Ordered 2 curtain rods of different lengths on one order. Order shipped with one tracking number, and was delivered. Problem is only one curtain rod was in the box. I have spend the last 4 days trying to get someone to understand that. They keep telling me to contact them in 3 days in case the missing items gets delivered. Today they said 4 days. I keep telling them it is not a delivery issue, but a packaging issue, but they still refuse to resolve with either a refund or reorder. Incompetent systems and/or people, and the lie about when to contact them is aggravating.

I purchased a specific pantry product and assembled carefully over. Several weeks. I have one issue when I initially assembled of one of the pieces breaking, they sent me a replacement part. It took an extra week to get that part because they were not upfront about the shipping time when I spoke to the representative. I purchased this item in October 2023, less than six months later the item is starting to come apart in the back. The furniture itself is made of MDF wood, but the backing is an extremely flimsy piece and completely came out of the slot. Because of the numerous steps to put this together, I am not going to take the whole thing apart and reassemble.
I reached out to the company and their response was that because I didn’t buy the protection plan. There’s nothing that they can do. I purchased this item in October 2023 and it hasn’t even been six months and it’s already starting to fall apart. This item was not cheap either. I could’ve easily purchased an item from IKEA, but I would’ve thought that this was a better-quality piece of furniture. I would not do business with Wayfair ever again, and I recommend that you don’t purchase from them either, really don’t care about customer satisfaction. Save yourself several hundreds of dollars and just purchase for IKEA because you will probably get a better quality piece of furniture.

The customer service is no help at all. I ordered 9 items that totaled to almost $5,000. I ordered 3 of the same upholstered Sofa. I ordered everything on January 9th. It was expected to come at the end of February. The sofas never arrived. Wayfair reordered it and it was set to come March 8th. Only 2/3 of the Sofas arrived. I talked to customer service and they told me they’re reordering it again. Then they tell me to expect my delivery in May. And if I don’t want it by then I can always donate it. But they won’t give me back my money. Then I get another email that says it was reordered again. The expected delivery is JUNE 30th!! Don’t order from WAYFAIR!

I have purchased quite a few things from Wayfair over the years, I will not be purchasing anything else from them. My most recent order wasn't shipped out yet four weeks after placing the order. I called multiple times only to be told it will be going out "the next day". It never did. The last time I called they reached out to the shipper and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I cancelled the order. I was promised a full refund in 3-5 days. It's been six days and still no refund! I will have to dispute the purchase with PayPal. I am done with Wayfair!

I purchased Montebello Iron 84" Tall Garden Arbor. Missing in the order was one of the arch pieces--two male pieces were sent for one side of the arch instead of a male and female, so the two pieces could not be put together and, therefore, the arbor could not be assembled. Because we didn't open the package until a couple of weeks after the return date, Wayfair would not do anything about providing the missing piece or accept a return. They gave me the phone number to the supplier, who told me that because it was purchased via Wayfair, they do not provide any customer resolution. I called Wayfair, who reiterated that because it was beyond the 30 day return period they could do nothing to help me. CUSTOMER BEWARE!

Ordered a dining room table from Wayfair. Items said free shipping. Was contacted by 3rd party shipping service final mile for scheduling delivery. Contacted them back to change time of delivery to afternoon. No problem. Day before delivery get notification that coming next morning. Called back. Was told though that was time and date. They would not deliver in the time frame that I needed. Only on their day and time. I Can't have someone there that time. Cancelled order. Customer service was a joke. "Oh we're so sorry But you have to pay to return item." So now I can't get delivered and have to pay to send back and didn't receive the set. Do yourself a favor. Buy local. I am a loyal customer and have bought from WF for years. Very satisfied with their products and service. However, as a decorator and one of their 'pro' customers their services have dropped off substantially (sorry, Kelly). I have received wrong items several times in the last year. The on-line descriptions or pictures are just wrong and when you ask for return or exchange they fight with you on color match or quality, make you jump through hoops with multiple picture requests, and they only correspond through emails only so no direct contact to get things resolved and then want you to pay for the shipping cost on return.
I had a simple order recently requesting a king duvet, they shipped a queen. I sent in a picture of the label, clearly marked queen, and it had to be sent to 'resolution' as the CS rep could not issue a simple return and refund (had to go buy one from Home Goods to get the job done and appease the client). Now I'm waiting to get this out of my office for the 48 hour response time. It's getting too difficult to deal with them and so feel I will be very select in the future and give the other like companies first chance.

I hardly write any review—maybe 2-3 times in my 30 years of life. I order two vanity sink to complete my business Construction and get ready for my business grand opening. The items estimated delivery date was 4/9-10. 4/21 I checked and the items still on preparing for shipping. No delay notice, no update, nothing. Investigations takes 8-10 days…At least let me know so the real issue eg., item out of stock, arriving late from China, so plan for the worst. Unethical. I Regret other items purchased from them. It was my First and will be last. They don’t even deserve my one star or worth my time, But potential/future customers deserves to know and take precautions when ordering for special events with this retailer. I Don’t recommend them at all.

Kristine only can do what Wayfair allows, her patience was great but however The Tech wayfair sent to our home was very unprofessional _ arrogant & disrespectful & refused to carry the boxes to our bedrooms, knowing we were disabled, we order the white glove service, which they charged us twice for the bed installation, but yet the tech they had sent made it very clear rudely that, taking boxes to the rooms is not his responsibility. Heartless! How else can you serve those who are elderly & disabled when it comes to this white glove service, something so simple, he wouldn't do. Wayfair did nothing to compensate our frustrations as disabled veterans at all, they just rescheduled us 2 days later, and told us to call them before tech arrives, and they'll tell the tech to move boxes to location. How inconvenient! We spent 1017.00 for a complete horrible and heartless experience. Shame on wayfair and this particular tech.

April 14,2024 I ordered two sets of full size sheets in different colors. Both sets arrived April 18,2024. One set Coffee color arrived in size Queen not full. I attempted repeatedly to request a replacement. I was asked to send a photo. I was seeing patients in ICU so this was not feasible. I will not go into the ludicrous exchange and finally ended the session. Today April 19, 2024 I once again attempted to request a replacement or refund if the full size was unavailable. The screen to return items asked me the same questions five times even after I provided the requested photo. Did I open the package? No, the size is printed on the info card which is visible through the plastic cover. It would be a hassle but could I open the package so Wayfair could send the product back to the manufacturer for review? My response “Why, the size is printed on the card inside the sealed package”. “I cannot verify the size by feeling the fabric”.
Once again a request for a photo which has even been provided with this review. Finally I was asked for the part number that needed replacing and where the damage was exactly located. How many parts did I want replaced. I responded this is a sheet set I want all of it replaced in the correct size. I was assured Wayfair was "on it", the item would be restored to mint condition. I was thanked for doing “The Wayfair”. In the past two years I have spent a fair amount on items from Wayfair and been pleased . This was the first time I received an incorrect item and the first time I attempted an exchange or refund. Service after the sale is more important than the sale. Never will I waste time with Wayfair in the future. Their app has been deleted.
The caveat, my hospital co-workers and I have laughed every time I shared this experience. Their conclusion is “I would never order from Wayfair.” “It sounds like they knew they were sending the wrong size." I also discovered five other people had experienced issues with Wayfair. Hopefully this review will allow others to think twice before buying from Wayfair.

Wayfair just screwed us out of the hot tub we ordered, which was advertised in stock, although it wasn't. You gave us promotion codes to use on the spa, reducing the cost by over $1300 for our "inconvenience". We called over 2 dozen times over 2 months, receiving a different answer each time. Our delivery date was Aug 2, so when that date came & went, we called. We were told the spa was "on the loading dock, about to ship it." We waited a few days then called again, this time we were told the hot tub would ship out in June. Called Saturday for an update, we were told we'd know by 4/16, yesterday our entire order was cancelled because Wayfair was "taking a loss." We have every call recorder, see you in court.
PS ~ When we inquired as to why the order was canceled, Wayfair blamed the manufacturer (Bueno Spa) so we called the manufacturer. Wayfair lied, Bueno had our spa in stock and told us Wayfair did not have them in stock when we placed the order, despite the 16+ times we were told it was, "in stock and about to ship". We called Wayfair back to inform them that our cancellation reason was a lie, and the supervisor we spoke to Yvette (we have all telephone correspondence recorded for legal purposes) said that she was unable to provide a reason and also unable, or should I say unwilling to provide us with the same promotions/price we had been offered due to the amount of stress it took to simply get to a place where we were lied to once again.
We accepted Wayfair's apology and promotion codes offering over $1000 off the Bueno Jersey tub which was on sale when we bought it, and Wayfair was unwilling to honor the sale price or any of the promotion codes that have been provided for our over the top and convenience. Wayfair cancelled the order because they were taking a loss, the sales representative admitted it on a recorded line which she was repeatedly reminded was being recorded. Wayfair is a terrible company with no ethics or concern for the customer. Each representative and supervisor lies in order to appease the customer during the phone call, and they often don't bother to record their notes which is inconvenient when you have to call 16 times in order to get a resolution.
I highly recommend going straight to the manufacturer for anything you might want to purchase on Wayfair. It's not worth the stress nor the hassle that incurs between the lies, the unethical behavior and the straight up disrespect they show to customers. If I could rank them negatively I would actually take stars away. The company is complete trash and everyone that works there is a manipulative gaslighting liar who does not know how to do their job.

I was all set to make my first on-line purchase at Wayfair, but I thought I would take advantage of their $25 off if I opened a credit card with their associated credit card company Flexiti. What I found out was that this company charges a huge amount of interest (39%) on any late payments, plus there are apparently "administration fees" on payment plans for folks who do not anticipate paying their full bills each month. In contrast, I am someone who always pays the full amount of my credit card bills each month, have no mortgage on my fully owned home, no debts, and a stellar credit rating. So it was a complete surprise when they would not authorize a credit card for me, giving the reason in an email, did not meet their "account opening requirements."
We are left with the impression that Flexiti will not provide their credits cards to people from whom they cannot expect to make huge amounts of money from their interest charges. Our negative impression about this company was reinforced by reviews we found on the web. If this is the type of company for whom Wayfair is promoting credit card arrangements for Wayfair purchases, I am left with no confidence in Wayfair itself and will not pursue any purchases with them.

If you purchase anything from them do not pay for assembly. They do not show up for appointments. They’ll refund your assembly charge but you’ll be stuck with the lost time and end up having to assemble yourself anyway. Then they’ll just blame it on the “third party” they sub out the assembly to.

But things happen so I researched again and order another sofa.... Same thing. I log in to the app to see my delivery day changed day after day. No one can provide an update, no one has information. Twice they lack communication and any kind of understanding that people base the lies around these things. I will NEVER order from them again and honestly can't believe someone like Kelly Clarkson (who I think is super awesome) would be a spokesperson for them. AWFUL!!!

Poor and unprofessional company. Never deliver on time and never truly help to resolve a problem. They do the same disgusting game when there’s a problem and just put you on hold and never come back. Worst delivery experience ever and it’s every single time and their rep always repeat the same phrase and that’s there is nothing they can do and if you get a decent one, they apologize but still do nothing to resolve an issue which defies the point of having a CS department.

I am so sorry to have to write this review. I have ordered many items from Wayfair and have never had a problem. In December of 2020 we gifted my son and his wife with a beautiful, expensive 7 piece outdoor dining set. It has now started to peel (all pieces and screws) and underneath the metal has corroded and rusted out. I talked or texted with at least 8 agents and they could not help me or wouldn’t try. All I wanted was to advise them of a problem and try to get an actual customer service phone number for the manufacturer of the set. I am sick about this and I’m not sure I will ever trust Wayfair again. The name of the set was Thibault patio set by Fleur de Living.

Do not buy an inflatable hot tub made by Bestway with a protection plan from Wayfair. If you do buy it, be prepared to replace your purchase at full cost. The protection plan is a scam. My heater/pump broke and they will not replace it. They initially offered to send someone to repair it and then said they had no one in my area that could do the work. I live in Seattle, not a small town. I have enjoyed many Wayfair products but a three-year protection should not be false advertising. Shame on them!

Purchase from Wayfair around March 4. Never received the merchandise. Now I’m having a really hard time getting my refund for 406 feet $3.45. They keep telling me that it is in a settlement status and that there’s nothing that they can do about it, like I am so fed up and leave it with them. First time ordering and this will be my last time ordering. Customer service supervisor is heartless. They do not care. It’s not their money so they don’t care. I want I’m gonna plan on taking them to court to get my money because this is absolutely ridiculous. Do not order From Wayfair. They’re horrible.

Wayfair offered assembly on their website and when I tried to purchase the assembly they told me they didn't have anyone to send it for assembly in my area. What a waste. I would not have ordered this if I didn't have Wayfair home assembly option.

I ordered a couch. I kept getting updates pushing back delivery by a week. I would inquire about it and the phone room personnel would give my lip music excuses. 3 months later it was cancelled by Wayfair. No excuse. No apology, just cancelled. I called wayfair and would get a run around. I explained why would I order anything else from them if they just drug me along charging me on my cc for 3 months and just cancel it like that. I got my money back and a 20% discount (after making enough of a stink with them that this was poor business and could have ordered elsewhere if they had just drug me along for the ride). I can't believe but they did it again. I order chairs within a couple months of the couch. Two months go by. Same scenario. I call. I get excuses. I get delivery dates pushed back weekly.
I speak to someone that says the chairs are physically in the distribution center. Not sure why they weren’t delivered. 2 weeks later (all be it a total of one month later) they cancel the order and my “20% “discount on that order. It's not that they had to cancel the order. It's not that it took so long. It's the lack of transparency and the dragging me along only to cancel. Btw those same Adirondack chairs are on the website saying they can be delivered in days. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!

My reviews is based on the integrity of the company not the quality. I am a senior citizen and I was so looking forward to the so called "White Glove Service." This service claims they will take it out of the box and place it in the room you would like it in. I ordered 3 large items, a table, a TV entertainment piece, and a recliner chair. These items ARE large. My items are on the way and I cannot cancel. I called today just to confirm about the white glove service because I thought it was too good to be true. Guess what? It was. They said the "items were too small." A dining room table, recliner and TV stand are too small? Unbelievable! SO disappointed. Yes, that I'm not getting the service they PROMISED but more than that, just another situation where the people are not true to their word which is huge for me.

I keep ordering things from Wayfair only because I have a credit card there, not anymore, I've got a stove there and a refrigerator there both from GE, can never get it repaired, contact Wayfair. Keep getting put on hold for 30 minutes, then they give me a phone number to call that's not even opened right now, my time is precious. I have other things to do besides sit on the phone and wait for them to not fix the problem. I'm done with Wayfair.

My advice is that no one should buy from Wayfair. I bought a recliner couch. The "first" one, I noticed damage at the time of delivery. Even though the delivery men were still at my house, Wayfair said I had to pay almost $150 for the delivery men to put it back on their truck if I wanted to make an exchange for a couch that was not damaged! Three weeks later the second was finally delivered. This one didn't operate open/close properly and then broke the first day!! AGAIN I had to pay ANOTHER $150 for pickup and return if I wanted the rest of my money refunded!! NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR!!

Bought a mirror cabinet for $100, it came made of cheap fragile plastic. Contacted customer service, person A said they sent me the return label, waited for 1 week, nothing came. Contacted again, met person B, they said they couldn't do the label, told me to use my own label and send them information then they will refund. Did that and person C replied, saying item had been refunded. Asked again about the shipping and was ghosted multiple times until a few months later someone finally replied saying they couldn't refund shipping because "you chose your own return method instead of our discounted label". Even more back and forth and they finally apologized and gave me a 10% code off (only valid for 1 month) instead of any refund. Could have easily get 10% off just from subscribing to newsletter. They only cared about your money. Worst experience ever.

White glove service for a couch included it being dumped at my gate in filthy bubble wrap. They offers me 15% off for a white couch that had been dragged through the dirt!! Disgusting service. Costco white glove service is impeccable. Wayfair white glove service… my dog would do a better job.

Purchased a sofa and coffee table. Got the coffee table, also the quality for price not worth. Then when time for sofa, got 2 of 3 packages. When contacting Wayfair customer support to get assistance because on their website it showing only 2 package rather than the 3 before. I purchased on Wayfair and this rude agent told me "It shipped, if you think you missing, call Fedex and inquired." Like seriously, I need to do his job to call around and found my item where it is and ship it to my address. I have been bounce to multiple agent, and no one seem to help me. So frustrating that I was to return everything I did purchased.

I am having a terrible customer experience with Wayfair Professional. I placed a three item order on March 25th expecting to receive it by March 30th. 15 days later I still have the on hold status on my order without any explanation that makes sense. The customer support interactions where very poor and personal lacks empathy and information. I had to call them several times, keep hearing that the problem will be solved in 24 to 48 hours. They will never send updates on that. am having a very bad customer experience and do not recommend Wayfair Professional, go with Overstock instead or any other competitor.

Stay away from this product and I’d have to say Wayfair in general. I ordered this patio set last March and it lasted, while under a patio cover, less than 3 months. Wayfair sent out replacement tops for the table and bench and those too only lasted a few months. I’ve contacted Wayfair again and they’ve said because it’s out of the manufacturer's 90 day warranty, there’s nothing they can do. So, now I’m out almost $900 on a set that lasted only a few months. Do your business elsewhere. Amazon or even Costco will stand by their products for far more than 90 days. Pictures attached are of the second set of tops.

I ordered a table and 6 chairs from Wayfair. Table was good, but all chairs broken. Ordered a Dresser and two nightstands. Every piece came in broken. Ordered second bedroom set with a dresser and two nightstands. One nightstand came in broken. Wayfair did a return and replace or money back. BUT, only for the broken pieces. They consider each piece in the bedroom set an individual part. So now I get to keep on reordering each piece until I get lucky enough to get a full working set. Wayfair sells junk and doesn't stand behind their products. Find a different company and save yourself some grief.

Worst company I have ever encountered in my life regarding delivery and set up. If you order something that does not need assembly or you can assemble yourself that is your only and best option. We waited on a bookshelf delivery for weeks and had 4 missed deliveries because of driver incompetence before canceling all together. I don’t know where they get drivers from but they are garbage.

The service people they send out are horrible and change appointments at the last minute!! I have called and tried to get help but it’s becoming exhausting.

Give Wayfair a miss if you live in Canada.....there should be a disclaimer on their site that customers need to add up to a month to published delivery dates if shipping to Canada. Ordered some furniture and made plans around the delivery - allowing a week extra. Started calling customer service after 3 weeks overdue. Total waste of time on chat - inept, unhelpful and useless. Phone call got me the same level of "expertise" and an attitude about the fact that I live in Canada - major crime apparently. Supervisor was not any more help. Beware! Apparently Wayfair take no responsibility if order going to Canada and we are basically on our own - no responsibilty re inaccurate or misleading information on site. Once they have your money you can whistle.

I actually have purchased multiple products at Wayfair, and although putting items together can be difficult, overall I have found products to be of good quality. My concern is the environmental impact of this company. I have purchased Wayfair Custom Upholstery which includes custom Slipcovers. Through normal use, the slipcovers have become worn looking and need replacement, but Wayfair does not allow you to just purchase another slipcover. That means purchasing an entirely new couch and throwing this one into a landfill because they don't want to provide individual replacements of their own products? They have a link dedicated to "shopping sustainably" but this does not seem like they are following through with that message.

We ordered "110" L Shape Modern White Sofa" on Mar. 26, 2024. It's been shipped on Mar 22 and delivered after 4 days. 4 packages has been shipped and delivered. Once we open all packages noticed that there is lots of missing parts. So, we could not set up the sofa. We contacted customer service to request sending missing parts. They said that the products will be shipped on April 3 at the earliest. 2 days after this conversation, they sent an e-mail stating that it would be shipped on April 5th. They victimized us in this process and they still cannot compensate us quickly. Wayfair works with a very bad supplier and manages the process very poorly. We will never use Wayfair again. Shopping with a marketplace that is not interested in your problem is nonsense!

Wanted to order full size arcade game machine with 412 loaded games. This was on sale for 49% off. I did an online chat to inquire what games were on the system as they were not listed. They told me they had to ask the warehouse for the answer but not to worry the sale price would be locked in for 7 days. I found the manufacturer online with the listed games the next day, so I went back to Wayfair to place my order only to see the price went up $500. Upon doing another online chat they assured me that they would honor the price but I would need to place the order first and then they would issue a refund. I placed the order and they only refunded me $50. Online chat resumes. Now they tell they can no longer honor the agreed upon price. So I cancelled the order and now waiting for my refund.

Do not buy anything from Wayfair unless you're 100000% sure you're going to keep it. They messed up on three items in my order. Item #1 got delivered to the wrong address, Item #2 arrived damaged, and Item #3 sent me a completely different Item. Their chat/ and text expire within a couple of minutes if you don't respond to them right away, yet they keep you waiting for minutes on end. I've gotten timed out so many times, mind you they will time you out even after a quick 2 minutes when you're trying to comply with their demands to take pictures of the items and it starts a new chat where you have to basically explain everything all over again, even though they claim they have a chat history, and you can just pick back up where you left off - you can't. They also ask you to do unreasonable things that take up time and effort, which is incredibly frustrating as they made the mistake.
1. Item that got delivered to the wrong house: they made me wait 3 days to file a complaint, and I had to go to all my neighbors to see if the item was there. When I found it 10 houses down I had to carry a very heavy item by myself.
2. Incorrect item: The box was clearly labeled as to what was inside, and it was not even the same model or color as what I ordered. They wanted me to open the box and take a picture, which I refused to do as I had already spent over 30 minutes putting the item back in the box. Most companies take the customer's word when they say they got sent the wrong item. Why would I lie about receiving the wrong item in a color I don't even like?
3. The item that arrived damaged. The entire box was beaten up and had holes in it. I took a picture of the box before opening it, and the items that were destroyed, and all they wanted to do was replace the damaged parts.
I spent more time trying to return something than it was worth. Will not be ordering anything from Wayfair. Sticking to Amazon where the return process is easier than can be.

I ordered a product I could of purchased anywhere else but I needed it by a certain day and Wayfair had the right delivery date. The very day it was supposed to be delivered they stated due to logistics it would be 2 days later. That was the exact date everyone else had the delivery date as. The old bait and switch. Also their return policy puts the burden of shipping on you. Just stick with Amazon. I wish I had seen all these reviews earlier.

I ordered a dresser from Wayfair on March 1. I also ordered professional assembly so I wouldn't need to assemble it since I'm pregnant. The dresser came, but when the assembler arrived, he told me that one of the pieces was broken. He called it in and ordered a replacement part. I waited a week or so and received the replacement part in the mail. I called Wayfair and scheduled a new service appointment. The new assembler came and told me that this replacement part was now the WRONG part. He told me to contact DaVinci, the manufacturer of the dresser.
After emailing back and forth for a week with DaVinci, they told me that I'd need to go through Wayfair. I called Wayfair and asked for a partial refund for all the trouble, all the phone calls, all the assemblymen coming in my house, and for the fact that I STILL don't have my dresser built. It's for my coming baby, and I'd really like to be able to start putting baby clothes in it.
While I was on the phone, not only did the customer service agent refuse to give any kind of refund, she actually went and cancelled my service assembly so that I would receive a refund for that but would not be able to have an assembler come to my house to build the dresser! Now I'm even worse off than I was before, and she did that without my asking for it. The supervisor was no help either. I asked her to reschedule the professional assembly I had ordered and was even willing to pay for it again, and she was somehow unable to reschedule it. Now I still have a box in my living room and no professional assembler coming to build it once I get my third replacement part! Why can't this company give partial refunds to extremely dissatisfied customers who should have had working pieces of furniture weeks ago?

If I could give negative stars I would! This company SUCKS! I ordered a sectional couch over $1000 and never received the shipment. I was told I could pick refund or replacement after going back and forth multiple times, just to not get either so now I am out over $1000 as a single mother! I am not happy with this company, the customer service is horrible, I can't contact anyone higher up about my problem at all. In this day and age with all the cameras I have around my residence you would think it would be easy to prove the shipment was not dropped at my address but Wayfair has no interest in me trying to prove this!

If I could give a zero rating I would - customer service is terrible. Purchased a cookware set, used one frying pan which blue coating came off on my stovetop. After an hour of cleaning, it still remains. I've been cooking for 40 years yet the "kid" at customer service tries to tell me it's because I have an induction cooktop...said he googled it and it looks like that. Oh My...I think I know what type of stove I have and it is not an induction. Offered me a 25% discount. Cookware in the trash & I'm done with Wayfair.

I've ordered many things from Wayfair - furniture, lighting, blinds... And I just had an amazing experience that prompted this review. Some painters working with my roofers lost the bolt for an outdoor light fixture I had just put up. I was SO bummed. I messaged Wayfair through their online chat on the off chance they could help, and in minutes they had mailed me a free replacement hardware kit. Amazing. Couldn't be happier! The quality of all the items I've purchased has always been great. Couldn't recommend more.

At Niraj Shah your Wayfair customer service needs better training and development. I had a $5 fraudulent charge on my account with some company in Florida that is now closed. I reported to your CSR team when I got notified 1.5 months after the bill was due. I was informed they will look into it and let me know the resolution with 30 days. It been 3 months and an additional $4 late fee has been added to my account and reported to the credit bureau for late payment past 30days.
I called 8x today and have been bounced around from one CSR to another for $5 dollars that I did not charge. I would imagine as a consumer yourself you would want to be protected by the companies you choose to do business with, however that hasn’t been the case for me. I was hung up on, place on hold 5x and more than 5 minutes and still do not have a resolution. At this point, I am so disgusted with your support team and the way your company has treated be a valued customer, that I will just pay their $9 bill and never do business with your company again.

I ordered a rug from Wayfair. It was similar to another rug that I ordered that was clearly cheaply made, but came in relatively good shape. This one came as it if had been stomped on so that the creases in the backing were actual folds, not gentle bends. It will never lie flat. They asked if I had noticed the damage before I opened the package or not. It hard to notice damage to the inside of a rug without opening the package. I contacted Wayfair and they offered me 25% off or return the item and take it to a UPS store. Do you know how difficult it is to return an 8 x 8 rug and drag it to a UPS store. I took the 25% but will not do business with Wayfair again. I recently found a rug with a certain name on Wayfair and looked on Amazon and found the same rug with a different name, but the exact same pictures in the same settings and with the same specs much cheaper. Ordered from Amazon and the rug was great. I am giving up on Wayfair.

Ordered a wall clock that was $100. The description described it as homemade artistic and marble. Couldn’t wait to get it. Was so excited. Received the item. It was so poorly made. It was literally plastic. I could’ve bought it at the local family Dollar my husband came home and even said that is terrible. Nothing we would hang our wall. I called customer service, they are allowing me to refund it but they’re keeping a partial of my money and charging me for the shipping. Never heard of this when you receive something and you’re not happy and you’re willing to return it and ask for a full refund why do they keep partial and make you pay to ship it back I will never again order from Wayfair. They can cancel my account, and the credit card that I just got will never be used again very disappointed. All they could say was, "This is our policy."
