    Non-functional and deceptive website combined with condescending and useless customer service. I needed to furnish an apartment when I would not be present so was searching for products with full service delivery (i.e., delivery and assembly at the same time). The only way to find these products on their site is to filter for “free full service delivery”. However, most of the products that filter retrieves are not in fact eligible for full service delivery. And even when the product is clearly listed as eligible for free full-service delivery through the entire purchase path, Wayfair nonetheless sometimes tacks on additional delivery and assembly charges — this happened with a bed I tried to purchase but that I discovered at the last minute included additional charges of $100 for full service delivery and $85 for assembly.

    When I spoke with “customer service”, they escalated my issue to a manager who said that the company did not stand behind their published prices and statements on the website about free full service delivery, and that I would in fact be charged the additional $185 for delivery and assembly if I purchased the product. Then he read the Wayfair website terms of use aloud to me and said I had no additional recourse other than to send a letter by postal mail to their corporate offices. What a joke.

    After so many years of purchasing at Wayfair, I experience them closing my account today. I ordered a headboard with full assembly and got delivered and open item with no assembly. I have returned many items that were delivered damaged or incorrect. I’ve taken photos and provided them with all the information and have returned all items that were delivered damaged.

    Terrible customer service. My wife ordered a dining room light which looks and sounded high quality in the Wayfair marketing. Product arrived quickly, but here were the issues...the instructions for assembly were horrible. Barely legible line drawings with very little narrative to go along with them. When I was at the last stage of assembly I needed to remove a retaining ring for each of the glass lamp shades. There was special tool for accomplishing this included with the hardware, but no explanation about what this device was or how to use it. I was able to figure it out and on the last one of 5 sockets, the retaining ring was cross threaded so it would not come out. Furthermore, most of the light fixture is out of whack structurally...meaning, the sockets are not even square with the rest of the unit. Poor quality coupled with terrible instructions and a high price do not make for a good online shopping experience.

    With all that being said...I am trying to find the process for refunds and I am getting canned, very likely AI produced responses with no offer of refund or process to deal this inferior product. I have wasted enough time with this company, we will accept the loss and order a new fixture from a reputable company. Will NEVER purchase from Wayfair again!

    I ordered something in 2018 and it was a nightmare for the return. Thought I would try ordering again so I just order a outside dining table. Came with a large gouge on the top. Called right away and would like a new table. Still dealing with it weeks later. Wayfair emails you with a question you reply right away and they you don't get another email for another 2 days. Very bad return policy. Stay with AMAZON!!! They are great with the returns.

    Despite clear evidence of harm and my repeated communications, Wayfair consistently engaged in delay tactics—slow-walking the replacement process, stonewalling my requests, and ultimately forcing me into desperation. I reached out multiple times as my pain intensified, explaining the urgent need for safe sleep accommodations. Rather than accept responsibility and promptly provide relief, Wayfair chose to minimize and avoid culpability at every turn. It became clear that I was dealing with a company more interested in protecting itself than in alleviating the very real pain and suffering experienced by its customer. This conduct is particularly egregious given that Wayfair had both the means and the obligation to remedy the situation, but instead chose to expend its resources on shifting blame, gaslighting, and undermining my position as a consumer.

    Worse still, the cumulative effect of Wayfair’s actions—deliberate delays, shifting responsibility, and persistent denial of accountability—appears to be designed to wear me down, diminish my ability to advocate for myself, and pressure me into accepting less than I am due. Such tactics not only prolonged my physical pain and distress, but also imposed significant emotional and financial hardship, all while Wayfair failed to provide even the most basic remedy.

    Non-existent customer service. They claim an item was delivered, then backtrack and tell me to wait 3 MORE days. On an item they originally claim was already delivered. We'll I never received it. And Wayfair CS can't decide if it was delivered or not. "Just keep waiting while we have your $ and you have nothing." There are so many other sites to shop from, so lesson learned and Wayfair has lost my business forever.

    We purchased two bar stools in Nov ‘24. They saw minimal use by our family over past 9 months. Yesterday the stem underneath the seat simply broke and the person sitting on the stool narrowly avoided injury. When we called Wayfair, they laughed at us saying they only offer a 30 day warranty on their products. We would recommend you NOT buy anything from Wayfair because they don’t stand behind their products. They know what they’re selling is not quality material.

    I will not shop at Wayfair again. I bought a couch with accompanying ottoman from Wayfair. The ottoman came ripped. They told me I had two choices: 1) Save 20% on the order 2) Return the entire couch. I said, "but I just want a new ottoman." They said they could not make that happen. The boxes were gone. It was for my daughter at college. How would she send an entire couch back? And why? They also made me work through the manufacturer rather than handling it themselves. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

    DO NOT BUY HERE... This is the worst service I ever got in my life... They deliver a desk that has multiple missing parts... Two weeks out they can't replace the part and when I ask for return they said I have to wait an additional 5 business days after they receive my return before they can refund my cash... No one knows what is going on and every time I call no supervisor is available.... This is the worse company. Save yourself the stress and buy elsewhere... If I could give zero I would.

    I ordered a kitchen island and it had a broken piece. They said a new part was coming, but they sent an entire new cart. Now they are REFUSING to pick it up as they promised. It will cost me to take it to the dump. Never will buy from Wayfair again.

    Ordered an adjustable split king bed and 2-twinXL-10" mattresses. Ordered an adjustable split king bed and two 10" mattresses. Customer service is horrible. Wanted to support Canadian instead of Amazon. Ordered the bed and mattresses that hadn't yet arrived and within 6 days of the actual ordering a sale went on and asked for credit so we can purchase more items. The first lady we called and talked to (Breuna M.) said yes they would credit. Nothing happened with the 24 hours like she said would. Emailed Wayfair back and they said no. Wow! Asked for the small price difference to add to a future purchase and nope, they don't seem to want more purchases. Guess Amazon it is. They at least will honour the sale difference and so does Temu in credit for futures purchase especially with 6 days. Even Canadian Tire. So much for Wayfair not supporting the Canadian people. NEVER AGAIN!

    Check your products immediately upon receiving them! I ordered a bed frame/Headboard. I DID NOT get what I ordered. I did not open the box & set the bed up until a year later. Of course when it's too late to do something about it. Just needed something quick. I would not recommend. Maybe my order would have been right if I paid more & ordered a body. Who knows! Check your items from this company & do DEEP research!

    I ordered 20+ items, some fairly large, from their website during a sale they were having. For whatever reason the website chose to default to an old address to send my entire order! I caught this within 2 minutes after placing the order and immediately called Wayfair customer service. Not only were they unwilling to change the delivery address to the correct location, one of the representatives had a huge attitude saying “I don’t know what you want me to do about it…” I’ve shopped Wayfair in the past and had a few somewhat minor issues but this time they’ve truly outdone themselves. Luckily for me I happen to know the people at that old address but it’s still a nightmare, and awkward to say the least, retrieving my order piece by piece as it arrives. All I can say now is lesson learned! I will not shop Wayfair again.

    They will not adjust the price they changed to a cheaper price 2 days ago. The original order has not even been delivered. To return an item will cost you about $30.00--donate to charity rather than give them more money. Don't shop at Wayfair ever.

    I have tried many times to shop on Wayfair and I have bought items from them in the past. They sell many of the same products that are on Amazon and I like to comparative shop. Honestly though, I find their website to be extremely slow. It takes forever for items to load and even to see other colors or read the description takes so long to load that I eventually just close the tab and buy on Amazon. I don’t have these problems with other websites. It’s unfortunate for them because if other consumers have the same problem as me, I am certain Wayfair has lost many customers. Also, many of the items I want are almost always out of stock. It’s frustrating and I barely even go on their website now because it’s annoying and a waste of my time. My advice to Wayfair; invest in a faster, more reliable website and try to keep items in stock.

    I ordered a coffee maker recommended by Consumer Reports and it was a branded item, the company was RW Flame. The coffee maker that was delivered has no reference anywhere that it is an RW Flame, but Wayfair blew me off, says it is the same. Now they expect me to pay to return it. I've ordered from Wayfair and have been okay with the service, but they are now off my list, and I cancelled my CR account as they were rude and unhelpful. The customer service at Wayfair was so fast, I don't believe they really looked into anything, just denied my request.

    Steer clear of becoming a Wayfair member and paying the $29 membership fee. They will sell you the world telling you all the perks you get but in reality for me it just wasn’t the case. They found every reason I couldn’t use my rewards and when I called the dedicated line for members they told me sorry but I can’t do anything to help you. Basically a whole lot of runaround and excuses. Steer clear in my opinion! If you use a reputable company or brick and mortar store at least you have some recourse but this company is all about the profits!!

    We purchased 2 hi top swivel stools Luyster Swivel labeled U LAX FURNITURE in January, needing assembly. We traveled after assembly until June, started using them and within 30 days ballbearings began to fall out noting failure of the holding plates and unrepairable. I contacted Wayfair who said warranty was for 30 days passed. I went online and was unable to locate the manufacturer anywhere, obviously not made in America and no representative for customer care. I bought thru Wayfair expecting quality and reputable, both of which I did not get. Last time I will buy from this marketplace who will not represent its products.

    Never again. They give you a date for delivery and then they rescheduled and rescheduled and then the tech comes and the half of the order is not here. WHY I n the world do you send it in 2 different trucks. Front of the bed in one truck and side of the bed in another truck. Talk about stupid. UGH. Never again. I'm sleeping on the floor for a week.     I purchase an interior door from Wayfair online. After verifying it was in stock, I placed my order and was given a delivery date which was a few days later. The delivery date came and went, and when I checked status online, it said "awaiting pickup from carrier". I checked again a day later, and it said "delayed" with no further explanation.

    When I called Wayfair's customer service, the interaction was horrible. The so-called customer service rep was rude, interrupting and talking over me, and just kept repeating the same unhelpful information several times, no apology for the inconvenience. She said the item, which I had already paid for, was out of stock. She had no logical explanation for why Wayfair already accepted my money when the item wasn't even in stock, The money was already cleared from my bank account. Since I was not given another delivery date, and the item wasn't even in stock, I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. She said she couldn't do that, so I asked to speak to someone else, and was put on terminal hold. Wayfair used to have pretty good customer service in the past, but something has definitely changed, and they won't be getting any more of my business. My goal now is to just get my money back, wish me luck!

    Be cautious about what you purchase. My daughter bought a sofa that was not as described. When she attempted to process a return, the company informed her that she would not receive a full refund. Their customer service department also instructed her to find a box large enough to fit the sofa for FedEx to pick it up. However, the sofa was shipped to her vacuum-sealed and was inflated when opened, meaning it would no longer fit in those boxes. Given these circumstances, neither she nor our family will be purchasing any additional items from their online store.

    I’m sure you get a lot of complaints, but I wanted to complement you specifically about the service I received it Customer reviews. I have to say Deborah I just spoke to or Debbie was absolutely exceptional! I’m pushing 80 years old and I came across a small black ”thing” on my floor, I have a difficult time getting down to see what it is, and I couldn’t figure out where I could attach it in the back bottom of my recliner with heat and massage. I have to tell you she was absolutely so patient with me and understanding of my age and weekend abilities.

    I’m hoping this gets to you so that you can acknowledge her representing warfare in such a phenomenal way. I had purchased the recliner with heat and massage along with my sofa with reclining on either ends of the sofa. I believe it was like last, February, Debbie was so patient with me and frankly, I was surprised due to the fact that I had purchased it so many months ago. She text me pictures of the pamphlet which I had lost and was able to find the piece that I found on my floor, and I’m gonna put them in an envelope and when I finish my move back to Illinois, I’ll ask my sons to go down on the floor and attach it. Thank you again for hiring such a great representative of Wayfair!

    I ordered what I thought was a burgundy loveseat from them on 7-14 at 5PM in the afternoon. The description said red however the picture showed burgundy. I called their "customer service" 3 times trying to verify that this was indeed burgundy and no one could answer me. I then skipped the scripted workers and called the manufacturer who said it was a red, not a burgundy loveseat.

    I cancelled my order at 6AM the following morning. They had 12 hours to cancel this order! At 8 PM the following day I get an email that says "your order can't be cancelled, and it has shipped." They are charging me $54 to return their mistake! Another 5 phone calls to Wayfair to complain and no one could help. Trying to write to the higher ups in the corporate office only come back "address unknown". I am a 76 year old disabled veteran and I have to drive this 95 pound box to a Fed Ex office that is 12 miles away. All because they can't post the correct picture on their website.

    Sent Wrong bath Rugs, think I was charged for both sets, also when returning small item that was $23, was only refunded $5, unbelievable, should of been refunded total amount.     I have used Wayfair for several years for various purchases. I recently purchased a sectional for my daughter. I was told it would be delivered by 7/8. I received an email delivery was scheduled 7/5. I was surprised with it being the holiday. I received another email on the 5th it would not be delivered until the 9th. We called on the 8th and confirmed on the phone for the delivery of the 9th. Today, the 9th, we received a new delivery date of the 12th. Wayfair refuses to do anything regarding their delivery agent. "There is nothing that can be done."

    Ordered a sofa. It was delayed. When they finally delivered it, they brought a table. They offered -$100 and delivery in 2 weeks. She said we don't offer anything more on inconveniences. That it was a shame because if it had been a situation where it was the wrong color she could refund. I said, this an error. You didn't even deliver a sofa. She said no attempt will be made to find the correct package. Not possible to expedite any shipping. Argued and escalated, finally got bit more refund, that is honestly meaningless since the sofa is now selling cheaper than when I bought it.

    We already had old sofa removed, now we don't have furniture for 2 weeks. I took off work for delivery window, and will have to do so again. Customer service agent was condescending/openly mocked me saying 'you finally figured it out, gooood job!' In response to me saying what they were offering screwed me over. They so far have only refunded $56 dollars. I HAVE A SUGGESTION FOR WHERE THEY CAN STICK THAT TABLE.

    I placed an order for an item and then I realized it would not work in the space I got it for. I tried to Cancel the order within an hour of placing it on Sunday evening. Apparently it was too late. So today at 2 pm on Monday I checked the status to see if it was cancelled and it says waiting to be picked up by carrier. So I called their customer service to see if they could cancel it since it hasn’t gone out, but they said they could only cancel it within a half hour of purchase, even though it hasn’t even been sent out almost 24 hours later. Maybe I am spoiled by Amazon and their great cancellations policies? Anyway, I won’t shop at Wayfair again. Now I have to pay $30 just to return the item.

    Cancellation/Return policy is ridiculous. I ordered a vanity in the wrong size. I immediately noticed my mistake and texted (like the chatbot recommended) with a representative. After going round and round with the rep who originally told me I could cancel the order they then said no it was too late to cancel because the item had shipped. I pointed out that I had requested a delayed delivery for 2 weeks past the date and there was no way the item had shipped. It was like talking to a wall. No common sense, just reading from a script.

    My order, was a sectional couch, did not look anything like what I ordered, arrived, I spoke to the “virtual assistant”, after I spoke with a customer service representative. I was let know, after the human told me that it already arrived, then forwarded me to a virtual assistant, after hold time over 50 mins. Nothing has been resolved on this matter. I feel like this company should be aware of this matter.

    I bought a couch and a rocker recliner for a new house I was in the middle of buying.. Once I was there I took the furniture out of the boxes, within 1 week a welded nut and washer broke!!! Im way less than 160 pounds and was the only one to sit in it.. I called/texted/emailed Wayfair and every response was it's been more than 30 days since you purchased it. They did not want to hear that it had been in a box for 40 out of 47 days. I am so disappointed in wayfair!!! Won't risk ordering from them anymore!

    Wayfair is the absolute worst service I have used to purchase items for my new house. Fedex delivered my chair to the wrong place (did not recognized the photo, not my porch or the complex office). They promised me a refund for the lost item. Now over a month later, I have no refund nor chair. Their customer service just continues to give me the run around, promising me refunds. All are empty promises and just a way for them to kick the can down the road to avoid taking care of their customers. STAY AWAY from this company because they don’t care about their customers, just their bottom dollar.

    We used Wayfair in the past for several things and were satisfied. One of those items had to be replaced because the cushioned chair was damaged. That took all of maybe 5 minutes on the phone with Wayfair customer service and a new chair was sent out. Other than initially being damaged, there was no problem. Now that is customer service, as it should be!!

    Now fast forward to Friday, June 27, 2025, we received via Fed-X, what we thought was my wife's order of a Ragene Drawer Dresser by Red Barrel Studio. She made this purchase through WayFair online. This purchase was in excess of $400.00 dollars, not chump change. The plot thickens…. My wife noted what was delivered to her was a Sauder Dresser Palladia Collection 411830. That was NOT what she ordered! Again, she ordered a Ragene Drawer Dresser by Red Barrel Studio as noted on Wayfair’s Website.

    On the same date, Friday, June 27, 2025, a few hours after the delivery of the wrong product to her, she called Wayfair customer service. She spoke to a young lady, The young lady offered her name as Whitney. She was polite. My wife fully explained the situation, thinking obviously it was a mix-up on Wayfair’s end and a relatively easy solution, and wouldn’t you know it, the easy solution didn’t happen, not even close. First she was told… Ragene and Sauder were the same, but we didn’t order Sauder. We could have ordered a Sauder from Amazon for $100 less! No where on the picture/description online of Ragene Drawer Dresser did it mention Sauder. My wife did not want to accept that since it was NOT what she ordered. (Mind you.. The lid of the box was opened but no pieces were removed/assembled, all of the 131+ Pounds of pieces just sitting the the box in the middle of our living floor.)

    After a brief hold, of which there were many HOLDS during the 56 minute, 7 second call She said they would give us a 15% discount to keep it. My wife said no, it was NOT what she ordered. Seems like to me that 15% discount showed the “OOPS” made on their end. After another HOLD, Whitney came back on line and said we needed to take it out of the box and take pictures of it. Yes, you heard that right, take the pieces out of the box to assemble and take pictures. My wife AGAIN explained the top of the box was opened but no pieces were removed/assembled. My wife questioned again, you actually want us to put this thing together, the one we did NOT order and do NOT want and take pictures of it. Yep, that's what they wanted. Simply Incredulous, to think someone would actually say that! What Ignorance! That is pure and simple ignorance, a lack of understanding of the situation.

    Of course, there is probably a script this person is referring to whether in-country or out of country. When they don’t have a scripted answer when someone calls their blugg, maybe they just spit one out or maybe that is what they are told to do, who knows! Of course I don’t know if they have a script but it sure sounds like it. I’d bet they do. After ANOTHER HOLD, they were going to provide a Return shipping label, however, WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY the cost to return ship the incorrect product that was shipped to us by Wayfair. “Stupid is as Stupid Does” comes to mind!

    NOW, IT IS REALLY GETTING RICH. Put yourself in my wife's shoes. How would you react/feel about now with all this nonsense? Well obviously that thought process didn’t register with them even after explaining it AGAIN. After ANOTHER HOLD there was no resolve. Finally, from what I understand from my wife, a manager got involved and within a couple of minutes a Prepaid Return Label via Fed-X was sent. Even arranged to have Fed-X come to our home and pick it up. Given the crap, phone tactics and ignorance my wife endured, we decided to just print out/affix the label, load and transport it ourselves (68 miles roundtrip) to Fed-eX shipping Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. All of this to rid ourselves of the remnants of this problem and dealing with Wayfair. We got it to Fed-eX, dropped it off and got a receipt. Poor Form Management, Poor Form!

    OMG - All of this CRAP because WayFair did not send the product they offered for sale but sent another brand, on purpose or by mistake, I don’t know which. All the tactics used such as the call lasting almost an hour (56 minutes 7 seconds), the holds, offering 15% discount to keep the wrong product and then of course, having us pay to ship their product back to them that wasn’t what we ordered to begin with. The customer is having to deal with this, Really! Poor Form Management, Poor Form! We are both Senior Citizens, not young kids by a long shot, but given our age, we’ve been around the block a time or two. It didn't take much to see the run-around my wife was given, nor overall what was happening. I don’t think we should have been treated that way. Sort of seemed like disrespect. However, in the end, after almost an hour on the phone and having all the tactics and nonsense pulled on us, the manager addressed it.

    As far as we are concerned, we are done with Wayfair, as we feel we were NOT treated properly. We should not have been run through the ringer or had to go through what we did, Shame on you Wayfair. Going forward, we are NOT going to use Wayfair, but another company, such as Amazon or others as long as it is NOT Wayfair. Having used Wayfair before with no problems we did not think or consider looking at reviews of Wayfair from other people. In hind-sight, boy were we wrong. We should have looked at all the reviews. Going forward in making a decision, you can book we will always look at reviews. You do what you want, maybe it will work out for you. Good Luck with that!

    I like the variety of products available, and the customer agents are friendly. I ordered mosaic tile for a bathroom project and contractor begins demolition today. Unfortunately, Wayfair sent the wrong tile. The estimated ship date for them to send the correct tile is 17 days from today! Then add the delivery time.... This holds up the entire project. I called to see if Wayfair could expedite the shipment and the answer was "I'm so sorry, but no."

    Wayfair committed my order on Jun 14th, which could be delivered on Jun 18th, but I still didn't receive it after Jun 23rd. They didn't take any responsibility for the delay and never explained why the item hasn't been packaged and picked by FedEx. I won't buy any product from them anymore. They just tried to get your cash from the other competitors in the first place. They don't care how they waste your time.

    Wayfair, hands down the worst company to deal with for large, heavy purchases. I bought a bathroom vanity weighing 500 lbs. They delivered it to my first floor — and that was it. No “white glove” service, no help getting it to the second floor where it needed to be. What are customers supposed to do, carry a 500 lb. vanity themselves? It’s unreal that they sell products this heavy and don’t offer any option for in-home placement. Do yourself a favour and deal with a local company that can deliver and place your items where you need them.

    I received my silverware order missing pieces in November. I contacted them and returned in the original box. I have the FedEx receipt that shows it was received at their return center. A couple weeks later, I emailed them for my refund. They said it would take a couple weeks. I called in a couple weeks and they said it was coming. Forgot about if for a few months. Called again and they said the Finance department would take care of it. That was ten days ago. I doubt I’ll ever get my money back. Will never do business with them again.

    Beware of their return policy. I spent over a thousand dollars on retractable screen doors. I could not get them installed until I had a handyman available to do so. When the handyman went to install them, they weren't quite the right fit. I called them to see if I could exchange them, and they clearly told me that because it was thirty-five days since I ordered them, they would not take them back or exchange them. They were not willing to work with me whatsoever. I'm out over a thousand dollars. The boxes were not even opened.

    Awful company. I ordered an item and made my choice based on when it would be delivered. I received several emails saying the item would be delivered that day (day of the email). I track the order and it's delayed, hasn't left the maker's store. Once the item is past a week late I cancel the order and get an email reply saying that it is too late to cancel (I tracked the item again, still delayed, still has not left the maker's shop). So now I have to make a return ticket...and they want me to pay for shipping, to return an item that has not yet shipped. Obviously, I do not want to pay for shipping so I call customer support. The rude reps says that that is their policy and that I have to pay for return shipping, even though it has not yet shipped, anywhere. I inform her that I will report the the transaction as fraud to my CC company and the rep then hangs up on me. Save yourself the aggravation and buy your stuff elsewhere, anywhere else.

    I brought a cloth top gazebo from Wayfair a year ago, at this time I purchased a warranty for the cloth material that I was offered by the salesperson. I paid 47$ for the warranty and now a year later Wayfair don’t even have the top that was destroyed by the elements and they’re not interested in honoring their warranty.     My wife just spent an Hour on the phone with the Wayfair customer support requesting a refund of $300 she spent buying her son a Wayfair gift card. The gift card was emailed to him but when he went to use it he saw a message that it was already redeemed. She spent an hour on the Chat support with Wayfair on 10 June and was told she would receive a refund but no sign of her $300. Today on the phone she was transferred 3 times elevating the phone call and of course she would have to repeat everything from the beginning. In the end my wife was given a Request number - but NO REFUND. They could not tell us what happened to the gift card but they were Quick to take her $300. Now she is waiting to get her money back after jumping through hoops and getting the run-around. AVOID This company at all Costs!!!

    I purchased the Daquan 1 Person Hanging Chaise Lounger with Stand from Wayfair. It had many parts to it: a stand, a lounger and an umbrella. It also had a lot of hardware to put it together. The directions showed pictures, no text of the parts that fit together and the hardware that would be used. I put the stand and the umbrella together with no problems. There were 4 bolts that secured the lounger to the stand. One of the holes on the lounger did not line up with the hole on the stand.

    I opened a complaint. All communication was by email. The person assigned to my complaint asked me to loosen all the screws and try again. I worked in manufacturing for years so I know how to put things together. I sent this person some pictures and the next response was that they could resend me a new one or get a full refund. Note both of these options I had to send the defective lounger back. I took it apart, put all the plastic back on, bagged all the hardware, put it in the original box (so glad I didn't recycle it) and taped (had to purchase) it. Total hours of putting it together and taking it apart was 4 hours. Fedex will be picking it up at my house for no charge thank goodness. I won't get my refund back until they receive this Lounger. They offered me 10% on my next purchase which I will never use because I will never purchase anything else from them.

    Wayfair — I will never order from your company again. This has been, by far, the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any retailer. I ordered a couch in mid-May, and it was delivered on May 29. I had scheduled a Home Assembly appointment for May 30, but had to reschedule to Sunday, June 1 because I received zero communication from the assigned Assembly Pro. I had chosen the 7:00am–11:00am time slot and was given a 9:00am arrival estimate. The technician didn’t show up until 1:45pm.

    When he finally arrived, he couldn’t even assemble the couch — because Wayfair failed to include the necessary hardware in the shipment. I contacted customer service and spoke with a supervisor, who not only offered no real solution, but also condescended to me, saying screws are often “hidden in secret compartments” and that it was my responsibility to locate them. I thoroughly checked the furniture — there were *no screws.

    To make matters worse, I was told that Wayfair does not expedite replacement hardware. I had to wait an entire week for the missing parts to be shipped. When they finally arrived on Saturday, June 7, the box was damaged and pieces were falling out of it. Some of the hardware was missing again. I called Wayfair yet again, and was told I could either wait another week (again) for a new hardware kit, or go to Lowe’s and try to find the parts myself — which I ended up doing, because this entire situation had already dragged on far too long.

    My next assembly appointment was rescheduled for Sunday, June 8. I selected the same 7:00am–11:00am window and received a 9:30am confirmation. Once again, the technician was late — no communication, no courtesy, no explanation. I had to call customer service **three times** (due to disconnections), only to be told he was “40 minutes away.” He arrived at 11:00am, walked in without a greeting, apology, or any acknowledgment of the delay, and started working.

    This entire experience has been a complete nightmare. Between missed appointments, missing parts, poor packaging, condescending customer service, and consistently unprofessional assembly contractors, I can confidently say that I will never order from Wayfair again — and I would strongly discourage anyone else from using your services, especially Home Assembly. Wayfair, this was completely unacceptable — and you need to seriously reevaluate how you handle customer support and fulfillment.

    I ordered some sample swatches from Wayfair. To say that one hand on their site doesn't know what the other (AI) hand on their site is doing, would be a huge understatement. I got repeated mixed messages. "Track your package! Part of your order is on the way." Then- "Your samples have arrived! "(When they hadn't been shipped yet.) And instead of one particular sample arriving, they sent two of the same sample. And the other four- nowhere to be found. When I went online to reorder, it took a half hour to communicate with whatever their online entity was- and when they put in a new order, they only reordered ONE instead of all four. I went back to their online chat to try to reorder. Whether or not this will be effective is beyond me (and I should also mention that it took an extraordinary amount of time for the AI chat bot or person to adjust the order.) Their tracking information is a joke.

    All in all, I wasted over an hour trying to resolve a simple situation on a website that frankly seems to have its head up its customer service department, if you know what I mean... ;-) Later that day, I discovered another site that carried the same products and fabric swatches (do a Google picture search), and the process of ordering swatches and confirming the order was seamless. I'm done with Wayfair. Precious time I'll never get back. If I had this much trouble with a simple fabric swatch delivery by mail, I can only imagine the chaos that would ensue from a furniture delivery. NEXT.

    I placed an order for a table and was told it would be in five days. It didn’t show up either then contact customer service. They couldn’t tell me when it would be shipped when it would get here. The next day I would line and it said it was backorder and there would be another two weeks before it would come in. It was not back over the day. I ordered it. The customer service was not helpful at all. They just kept saying, "Sorry we were our 10 day grace period." Which they weren’t. I would tell him what the problem was and they would just come back with the same thing. "I’m sorry inconvenience. We will let you know when it’s shipped."

    I don’t know if I’ll even get it. I had to buy the chair separately on the website. It didn’t say it was a pair of two and I ordered six and 12 came in. Their customer service stinks and there is no solution to my problem. I already have the chairs put together and if I can’t get the table, I don’t have anything to match the chairs. And I can’t return them because they’ve already been put together.. Customer service, "We’re sorry for your inconvenience."

    Ordered a tent from Wayfair. Mid-way through shipping, tent was routed back to Wayfair. Then, when I attempted to get a full refund, Wayfair shipped a new tent again! This went directly against my request for a full refund. Wayfair never approves requests for cancellation on orders regardless of the customers clearly stated requests. Worst experience ever. Now second tent is shipping, causing me to refuse shipment and continue to struggle to get a refund. However; Wayfair processed my payment on the first day of my original order! Worst company ever!     Amazing how the ad says guaranteed delivery and once you order the item because you really need it by that guaranteed date your confirmation email changes from guaranteed to estimated. Ordered two identical console tables for an Open House and got one delivered by guaranteed day and the other one apparently is sitting in a warehouse less than an hour away. They both came from the same place, were on the same truck and somehow did not make it in one shipment to my place. The incompetence is mind blowing. It will be delivered perhaps tomorrow. Probably a suggestion as well.

It hasn't even been a year and the bunk bed I purchased is broken down from the frames to the boards that support the mattresses. The furniture is without a doubt show furniture.     I have been a customer of Wayfair for several years. Besides their very high prices, I continue to try to find items that I like from them. On 5/15/2025, I purchased a stainless 13.2 gal kitchen garbage can. I had moved recently so at the time that I placed the order, I updated my addresses. Apparently, I updated my billing address with the correct address and zip code and my shipping address with the correct address but wrong zip code. On 5/18/25, they delivered the item to my former address (from 4 years ago). When I received the email telling me item had been delivered, the photo of the front door where the item was left, was not my front door.

    I called Wayfair immediately to tell them they had delivered to the wrong address and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Why couldn't they contact their shipper (FedEx)? Driver could have gone back and retrieved the item. Now, 5 days later, they tell me that they will not give me a refund unless I pay a shipping fee of $11.35. This makes no sense. Why should I pay to ship the item back to them when I don't have the item? $60+ dollars I have lost to Wayfair because they won't accept responsibility for shipping to the wrong address!!!! I will NEVER order from Wayfair again. Terrible customer service on the phone (foreigner).

    One of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. I ordered a planter that took a long time to assemble, only to find it was missing the internal support brackets, a critical part. Wayfair initially promised to send the parts. Weeks later, I got an email saying the order was cancelled "per my request," which I never made. They apologized and reordered, promising to rush it. Then it happened again: same cancellation notice. This time they said the parts were out of stock and offered only one option — disassemble the entire planter (a two-hour job) and return it for a refund. That’s not reasonable. Under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, customers aren’t required to disassemble a faulty product just to get a refund for an incomplete order. I’ve requested a chargeback through my credit card provider and won’t be shopping with Wayfair again.

    BEWARE OF BUYING FROM WAYFAIR!!!! I have had nothing but problems with Wayfair for nearly a month. What began as a simple problem never got solved. Here's a brief summary: 1. Ordered two chairs & a table for my patio. One of the chairs was defective so I asked for a replacement. After many days of no response, I finally heard from one of the reps who said they would send me a replacement. When I asked if they could cover the cost of labor, they said no—that would be my cost—even though it was a defective chair.

    2. Instead of sending me one chair to replace the defective chair, they sent me two chairs—which I had not asked for. 3. Again, after many phone calls back and forth, I explained to many reps that I had not asked for two chairs. They stated that I would be charged for both chairs, instead of sending me a free replacement, which is what I had requested in the first place. 4. They said, I needed to do the arranging for a pick up, not them.

    5. After further calls, they finally agreed to do the arranging, however that would be a whole day of me waiting for UPS. I would have had to cancel any appts that would take me outside my condo. 6. The only option left to me was for me to find someone with a large vehicle to transport the two chairs (which I did not order) to a FEDEX location myself. Which is what I ultimately did.

    All this took numerous phone calls, emails and a car trip to FEDEX. I still have not gotten credit for the defective chair from Wayfair. Bottom line: Bad communication, no attempt to compensate me for THEIR mistakes, and lots of phone calls and time on my part. I told them I would never buy ANYTHING from Wayfair again, to which I got a stock email, thanking me for shopping with Wayfair.

    I bought the steam bath five yrs ago and it has got a crack in bottom of it. Said it had a ten year warranty on this tub. Now they telling me it is not under warranty and but instead wanted me to fix it with a repair kit bought from Amazon/now they are sending the repair kit for me to fix it myself. I will not buy from this co again. This tub was the 8000 dollar tub and like I said under warranty. You can read the warranty on the website. At least send a repair man out for that price of a tub.     Very dissatisfied with quality and replacement process. If I knew it was going to take two weeks for replacement of the damaged parts I would have just returned the item. Their process was very misleading. I was told my parts would be shipped right away. The next day I receive an email stating parts are being confirmed. Very dishonest company in the representation. I noticed their "One Star" ratings exceed their positive ratings. Shameful, maybe when we stop dealing with China so much a company like this will go under!

I checked on the app and it did not ship and wasn’t supposed not shipping until next Wednesday. It said I could cancel. I process cancel, get confirmation it was pending. Over two hours later I get notice they shipped the chair (all of the sudden it’s coming tomorrow!) and now won’t take the return. Now I have to receive the chair and pay to ship it back all because they rush shipped it now to avoid the cancel…. And now I cant cancel the other piece (because I'm pissed) because I'll pay for that too… TERRIBLE service and sneaky… And their bot just keeps saying same thing over and over about their automated processes. DO BETTER! I work in tech. There are much better ways to not screw your customers.

    I ordered an item advertised as “champagne” and what I received was nowhere close — the color was drastically different. I shared clear comparison photos with Wayfair, but they refused to cover the return shipping, claiming it’s my responsibility since shipping isn’t paid upfront — even though the error was on their end. Unfortunately, this isn’t my first negative experience. A few years ago, I received a cracked lamp and was also told I’d have to pay for the return. Their customer service has consistently been unhelpful and unwilling to take accountability. What’s worse, many of their products can be found on Amazon with better return policies and support.     I ordered a rug from Wayfair on April 29 2025. I cancelled the order less than 20 minutes later and received a confirmation that a refund was being processed. A few days later I received a text that the rug had been shipped and was on its way. I contacted Wayfair Customer Service and was told I would have to return the rug after I received it on my own which would cost me $60 and I am disabled and live in a very remote area and I cannot lug a big heavy rug to the post office. I planned on refusing the delivery.

    A few days later I received an email that the rug had been delivered by FedEx to an address that was not mine with a photo as proof of a rug laying in front of a building I did not recognize. I contacted Wayfair Customer service again and reported this information. I was told by the agent that the rug was now considered lost and a refund would be submitted in four days and I would receive an email confirming this.

    After 5 days I contacted Wayfair again to report that I never received an email and wanted to know the status of my refund. I was told by the agent that the refund had to go through yet another confirmation and would take 3 more days. Yesterday May 10th I received an email informing me that now they believe I DID receive the rug and that no refund would be given. I contacted Wayfair yet again and sent them photos of what the outside of my cabin looks like, which looks nothing like the building in the photo that FedEx showed the rug in front of. I was told that I would have to file a police report and submit it to Wayfair for them to even CONSIDER a refund. I don't want to get the police involved, I just want a refund that I deserve. The rug never should have been shipped.

    Had a horrible experience with wayfair. I ordered the Andree 61" Single Bathroom Vanity with Carrara Marble Top on 2/28/2025 and it arrived about 3 weeks later with a broken countertop. We contacted Wayfair customer service and they said they would replace the item for free and that we would not need to return the broken one. The vanity base was fine and we asked if they could just replace the countertop. They said they couldn't replace just the part and needed to send the whole thing. Since they said we didn't need to return it, we went ahead and installed the original vanity base and figured we would just take the countertop from the new one and donate the base.

    We were all set with the replacement but then we found out that our original color was backordered. Reached out to customer service again, and they said we could cancel the replacement for a full refund and reorder the same vanity in a different color since we just needed the countertop. The new replacement vanity was set to arrive on April 18th. Well, April 18th came and went and there was no replacement vanity and we never got a refund for our original one, so we reached out to customer service again. They gave us a very hard time about the refund for the original and at first said we needed to return the original one to get a refund even though they told us prior that a return would not be necessary. It was impossible for us to return it since the base was already installed in our bathroom. I fought that and they did eventually issue the refund. Then they said our replacement vanity got lost in transit.

    At this point I was so frustrated that I was considering cancelling altogether but they insisted that they could send a new one out as quickly as possible. Well, May 8th we received it and the countertop was BROKEN AGAIN. When we reached out to customer service again, they told us this time they could send just the countertop part, which if that was the case, why couldn't they just do that in the first place? That was all we wanted this whole time. So at this point we were so frustrated that I just canceled for a refund as I didn't trust the third one wouldn't be broken. They tried to be pushy about accepting another replacement. I said no. At this point we have been without a countertop and bathroom sink for about 6 weeks. We are now going to reach out to a different company to get a custom countertop which is what I wish I would have done in the first place.

    Terrible company! I will never purchase anything from Wayfair again. Ordered 2 sets of curtains. The delivery was split. The first set I received looked nothing like it was pictured online. I had to pay return shipping which was disappointing but whatever. The second set was lost by fed ex. I had to wait 5 days before I could contact Wayfair to have the items replaced, which is a ridiculous policy! Usually when something is orders it’s be cause you need the item sooner rather than later. I waited per instructions, then contacted Wayfair for the replacement. The replacement took an additional 10 days to receive. At that point I had already purchased the same set of curtains elsewhere as I needed them!

    I contacted Wayfair asking for them to cover to the shipping as they should due to the inconvenience and the first set of curtains not being as pictured which I paid to return too! Wayfair customer service said no, their policy is you have yo pay return shipping regardless. What a total scam! I will never order from Wayfair again! I’m also going to dispute the charge in my card, I doubt it will go through, but now I’m going to inconvenience Wayfair as they inconvenienced me.

    I ordered a trampoline for the kids. Very fast shipping. Open the box count the pieces and I was missing a top rail. Called up Wayfair to be told the part will be shipped out 1 week and a half from today. How does that work. The trampoline came in 2 days. Now someone messed up and can't count. And I have to wait almost 2 week to get a part. No help in speeding it up. They take your money and don't care what you get and when they or someone they use for products can't package it correctly. The customer has to wait. This is not rocket science. The part list is labeled. How can someone put the correct number of pieces in a box. I get it things happen but then I'm told I have to wait almost 2 weeks for the part. Sorry that's not good business. I recommend not to use Wayfair. They're just a middle man that won't help you out but will take your money no problem.

    Updated on 06/19/2025: Claim denied by their insurance company. Liberty Mutual. Anyone surprised? I worked in insurance for 3 decades until I retired, and would never use them or work for them. Their furniture made me sick for 3 years, but they're not responsible.

    Original Review: Dresser and nightstand off gassing terribly. Caused me a lot of bad health days. Never again will I buy furniture online. Prop 65 warning is also a bad idea. They said there is a one year warranty, but they're not helping me with this issue. The nightstand is only months old and it took them 3 tries to send an undamaged one... Only later would I find out that it was the source of health issues and those issues were also traced back to the 3 year old dresser. Off to class action land. Obviously not going to let this slide. It's not as much the money for the products, which was spicy enough, but more the lost quality of life issues where I didn't feel good because of the formaldehyde. Isn't this the same company that was doing the hidden coding stuff?

    I bought this sofa for $1,176.99, expecting quality and durability. Just a few weeks in, the foam started deteriorating. Customer service refused a refund but sent a replacement, assuring me it wouldn’t happen again. Well, it did. The exact same foam issue came back.     I placed an order & paid an extra $23.99 to receive my order quicker. I did not receive my item by the promised date. I then called customer service, explained what occurred and Wayfair tried to blame it on Fedex. After arguing, I was refunded the cost of shipping as an exception. Wayfair would still not admit it was their fault. They have a relationship with Fedex, the consumer should not be working with Fedex. The customer service rep was rude & was humming as I was talking. In order for this to be a useful Wayfair review, 1) update your website and don't offer or promise a quicker delivery, 2) don't blame Fedex, and 3) train your customer service reps to be professional! This is my 2nd order placed over the past 2 months and both had delivery problems. Products and service are not worth the aggravation.

    Decent product horrible service, I changed my mind and I cancelled my purchase and went for a refund before they made the label for my package according to their own system updates and they shipped my cancelled order and then denied my refund and hid behind their "policy" to take my money and if I wanted to return the item for a refund I needed to pay a third of the price that comes out of the refund so just don't buy from this site, their whole solution was to give me a 10 percent coupon to buy something else but not my money, they blamed me rather than their system or their broken policy that they made that says "oh if you want a refund you need to apply for it before the item leaves our warehouse, we also have systematic delivery system to make that nearly impossible" so don't bother with this company.

That date has been and gone and the items still hasn't even been dispatched!!!. The Whatsapp chat is slow and may as well be robot - I requested a complaint number and still haven't even got that.     Purchased an armoire 4 years ago. The bottom drawer is broken and I contacted customer service. The agent said Wayfair will not help with either a suggestion or replacement hardware.     I am beyond disappointed with Wayfair. I placed an order, and before it was even shipped, they dropped the price by $175 on a $1200 order. When I reached out for help, I discovered what "Wayfair customer service" really means — it doesn’t exist. No assistance. No price adjustment. No accountability. It's one thing to offer poor customer service after a problem, but it's another level of disrespect when you can't even help a paying customer before their order leaves the warehouse.

    Wayfair clearly values profits over people. Their policies are rigid, unfriendly, and leave customers stranded with no real recourse. If you care about getting a fair deal, being treated with respect, or having any support when things go wrong — shop somewhere else. I ordered a pool table form them over $1200 spent, and it came in severely damaged and Wayfair's answer to me 1st was it was outside of my three days window. I said "not" you all delivered it on April 25, and I opened to put it together April 26, so it was not outside my three days of delivery. Then after an hour and half of way, the rep. state my manager say you have to contact the manufacturer. I told them I spent my month with you, not the manufacturer and you should compensate or do something to resolve this, and I was told sorry contact the manufacturer.     Deceptive advertising and poor business practice. I ordered and received an email confirmation for a set of counter height bar stools on 4-14-2025 at Wayfair's advertised set of 2 price of $199.98. Since the status of the order hadn't changed for over a week, I accessed my account and discovered that the order had been cancelled with no explanation. I email the resolution department to no response. I called customer service on 4-23-2025 and confirmed that Wayfair had increased the price to $599.98 on 4-15-25 (day after confirming my order on 4-14-2025) and therefore cancelled my order without any notice.

    They lack transparency on delivery dates and will give you the run-around with vague responses on what their cancellation/return policies are. I ordered a desk for my office with a guaranteed delivery date between 21 April and 22 April 2025. As of this review, it's 21 April 2025 and my order hasn't even been prepared for shipping, even though it's been 5 days since I placed the order. I reached out to customer service to get an update and they took so long to even respond...IN A LIVE CHAT! When they did finally respond, I was told that my order probably wouldn't even ship until 2 May 2025.

    Pro Tip: If you guarantee delivery on a certain timeframe, it'd probably be a good idea to ensure you can deliver on that guarantee. When I asked to cancel the order, Wayfair said they could try to initiate a cancellation, but I wouldn't hear anything back until the end of the second business day. So basically they are trying to fumble around and see if they can ship the item before they HAVE to cancel the order. When I asked about what happens if I can't cancel the order they said I could refuse the delivery, but would have to pay the shipping cost. Based on the other reviews I'm reading (there are way more 1 Star reviews than 5 Star reviews), I'm willing to bet that my order will either arrive damaged, arrive with missing pieces, or arrive with the incorrect item. Websites like Wayfair are the reason why I refuse to shop online. I'd rather shell out the extra money and purchase what I want in store. Avoid these goons at all costs.

Customer service would not provide me with an assembly guide so that I could fix it myself because their policy is only one year after order date.     Updated 04/18/2025: I recently wrote a review about Wayfair and the undersized, damaged, poorly package camp rocker chairs they sent me. I gave them one star. Would have given them a negative if I could. The company actually sends you their own request for a review. I gave them a one star on that as well. Their policy is that the customer pays for return shipping unless the item is damaged. I called them and they told me that. In this review they asked if I would like a call from their customer service department. I said YES. They never called me. They are a terrible company selling inadequate products, delivered to you damaged, refusing to be accountable for their missteps. They should not be allowed to be in business. They are fraudulent. Seriously.

    Original: Purchased set of two steel camp rocker chairs from Wayfair. Just arrived not more than an hour ago. They are manufactured by a company called Latitude Run. Wayfair originally told me it would take many weeks (It was two months) before I would receive these two chairs. That was okay with me because the weather is just beginning to warm up around here. I sat in two spring loaded rocker chairs at my friend's house last summer and they felt good on my sore back.

    I was happy when the chairs finally arrived today. I opened the large box and they were fully assembled (welded) as promised. After removing the paper and foam, I noticed one of the chairs wobbled. I thought maybe the garage floor was warped a bit. But when I situated both chairs on the deck, the one did indeed wobble. One of the legs was bent in noticeably and all four pads did not touch the deck at the same time. Very disappointed. Then I sat in one of the chairs. Very weak construction. These chairs are not as solid (or the steel thickness is less) than the ones I sat in at my friend's house last summer. These chairs are very cheap construction. I feel the cyclical use and fatigue will eventually end in failure sooner than expected and possible injury.

    On top of that problem, the chairs are very small. Not the size of regular patio chairs. These chairs are meant for a child or a small-medium size adult. When you rock, u feel like the chairs will fail. The rockers are not very rigid, they are like "fluid", too fluid. Because of the bent leg on one of them and my disappointment, I would surely return-to-sender. But I trusted Wayfair's return policy on returns. Sure I can return the chairs but they tell you that I would pay for return shipping. The size of the box plus the weight would cost me more than the chairs. The order cost me $387.00 plus change. I feel I have been duped again. The sad part about it is that attached to each chair is a colorfully printed label boasting about how the chairs are manufactured in the great US of A. Maybe that's the problem. You can't get good help around here anymore.

    All-in all....very disappointed. Taken advantage of once again. Geeez.... I thought with just the size of them or even the poor quality... They were probably made in China or Taiwan. I was set up for failure. Once again I trusted someone and they let me down terribly. I really don't have to state this.... But I shall never visit Wayfair's website again. What a downer. You win Wayfair. Only once though.

    Here’s a 10% review. 🙈 I’ve had both great and disappointing experiences at the Wayfair store in Wilmette, so I want to share both sides. First, the positive: I’ve spent over $6,000 here across multiple visits for my clients. On one occasion, I purchased over $2,500 worth of patio furniture, and the experience was excellent. The customer service was top-notch—two sales associates helped tremendously, offering different choices and staying patient and supportive without being pushy. When some items were out of stock, they went above and beyond to accommodate us and even provided a 10% discount to make up for the inconvenience. That gesture went a long way in building trust and loyalty.

    However, my most recent visit was a complete letdown. I returned to purchase more patio furniture, pillows, and accessories—about $3,200 worth. Unfortunately, many of the items we wanted were out of stock, and we were left with very limited and unflattering color options. I asked the manager if he could offer the same 10% courtesy discount I’d received before, just as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. To my surprise, he refused without any flexibility. We were shocked—was a 10% discount really going to break Wayfair’s bank, especially to keep a loyal customer happy?

    Because of this experience, we walked away and took our business elsewhere, where we ended up finding a beautiful patio set in the exact color we wanted. I’m a Wayfair cardholder and a loyal customer who has supported this store in the past. It’s unfortunate that one rigid interaction overshadowed years of great service. I hope the management team reflects on this and remembers that customer experience is what keeps people coming back.

    I purchased a sofa from Wayfair in 2024. Their website online description and photo of the sofa were inaccurate and intentionally misleading. The sofa is not made of wood, with a "solid wood frame" or thick, soft foam large cushions. It is made of MDF board, thin aluminium frame and small, hard cushions with a thin layer of brown, plastic fibers. The MDF hard arms have cracked under the single layer of the couch cover. They started they were cushioned and framed with solid wood. The ad description also stated the sofa was "Made in America" and constructed to last. The box it came in, in pieces, are stamped with "Made in China." I paid $950 for this piece of garbage. A month later, the same sofa was advertised on another online store website for $275.     I built a 6 drawer dresser for my grandson. two of the knobs were broken/defective: one had the edge of the knob broken off, the other didn't have the nut inside the knob to screw the the screw into to hold the knob to the drawer. I called and after before blown off by the Robot, I chatted with a human who did the same thing though she actually made me upload photos. Apparently the knobs are only good sitting in a box for thirty days after that they start deteriorating and Wayfair can't be responsible for that. TWO KNOBS, DEFECTIVE KNOBS and no help whatsoever. Shameful and deceitful. We will no longer be buying things from Wayfair (and we have since 2011).

    Storage organizers I ordered were never fully assembled. I attempted to assemble 1 but due to poor instructions product was damaged. Wayfair sent replacement parts but not everything needed. I became ill and stored the cabinets away. When I tried calling today, Wayfair would not help me in any way to get extra replacement parts to assemble organizers. Item pieces are now on in the trash and the money I paid was basically thrown away. I will never recommend or shop at Wayfair again.

    I ordered as set of 4 counter height stools at a price of around $195.00 each and we received one stool and was advised that the other 3 were back ordered and would be delivered in 3-4 weeks, each week we checked on delivery and was told the same thing 3-4 weeks delivery about 2 weeks later we received a letter stating that the stools were no longer available and they were cancelling our order however we keep seeing them on the site for almost $600.00 so basically they are charging more and don’t want to honour the price that I originally placed the order under therefore I believe this is unfair business and would hesitate to buy anything else in the future from Wayfair.

    BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY WOODEN FURNITURE REQUIRING ASSEMBLY FROM WAYFAIR. I ordered a Kitchen Pantry Storage Cabinet, White (63"l X 71"h X 16"w) for $870 on March 4, 2025. Immediately after I was informed that one of the 2 boxes damaged in shipping, and they are re-ordering. On 03/11, I received one box (6'x2') and on 03/15 received both boxes ending in 1 extra box sitting in my house. I made several calls to Wayfair, and I was repeatedly advised to through the extra box since return will not be made. I kept the box for several days and as advised on the phone finally put it on the roadside with written in bold FREE. It was picked up immediately.

    On 03/16, when I opened the 2 boxes for assembly, found about 36 large wooden pieces up to 6-ft with only few smaller pieces. Also, several hardware's. It was found that the components are hardware were incompatible and cannot be assembled. I repeatedly called and informed of the problem, but Wayfair and the supplier did not care, and no resolution was made. My house was a mess for 2 weeks with all these woods. After 10 days having no choice, I disposed the wood with a few pieces sitting in my house.

    After 2-weeks Wayfair asked me that they are arranging pickup. Pack everything in the original boxes (which was already submitted to waste collection after 10-days of mess at my house). Also, now they also wish to pick up the extra box which was disposed as suggested by Wayfair. Wayfair was informed that neither the box nor majority of the wooden parts are now available. Wayfair and the supplier are not willing to take responsibility nor refund the cost paid. AMAZON has an AZ-DZ warranty in cases of this. Wayfair has not such warranty. DO not buy any furniture requiring assembly from Wayfair.

    Wayfair online chat is so inexperienced and lacking in customer service. I ordered a set of pillow covers unknowingly as the misleading images showed big fluffy pillows. I decided to use the chat to see if they had the pillow inserts. The virtual assistant was useless so I requested a real live chat. A rep by the name of Meka communicated with me and after several minutes was able to locate some pillow inserts. She asked if she wanted me to have her make the purchase. I said yes and provided her with the info she asked for. After several minutes up popped a survey asking how well she did. I filled out the chat with a 5 star, but she never came back with a confirmation number nor did one come to my email. So in essence Meka left me hanging, and received a great review!!! If I can go back I'd give her ONE star!

    I then requested another live chat as the virtual assistant continued to be useless. This new person was confused, and couldn't understand a simple explanation of what I needed, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. She tried to give some excuse and then sent me a number to call instead. She also turned out to be useless. Customer service is surely lacking at Wayfair's online chat. I eventually cancelled the entire order of three items because of a lack of good customer service. I have made up my mind that shopping at Wayfair is a waste of time, and after returning the items I am done shopping there! Don't waste your time with Wayfair's online chat. Period!

    I have been an interior design professional for 35 years. I have a Wayfair "Pro" account. Wayfair is essentially a 3rd party middleman between furniture manufacturers, distributors and you. Unlike Amazon they do not own a huge system of warehouses or maintain inventory and a reliable delivery system. They use FEDEX ground for most of their deliveries - far less reliable than UPS. All of this results in a host of problems. Quality problems, shipping problems, return problems, customer service problems, all of which become YOUR problem - not Wayfair's. Even as a Pro customer they certainly make no effort to help you with problems with your critical orders. I suggest Google imaging the furniture/items they sell and ordering through more accountable retailers. Wayfair just slaps their product and brand names on the same stuff that comes from manufacturers in China. You will have a better experience shopping elsewhere.

    I paid over $12,000 for Shaw LVP flooring on Feb 10, 2025. Delivery was arranged and verified several times for March 8, since I have a contractor installing the new floors. Wayfair made a bait & switch about delivery. Now they cannot find the flooring that I paid for in full. The installers had to move onto other jobs and I am paying for extras due to their delays and Wayfair deceptions. The missing floors are over ten days late as of 03/18/2025. I only received 36 boxes of 176 boxes ordered. This is a mess!. Now I must talk to bank about reversing charges due to never getting the flooring. It appears I have no recourse to recoup my extra costs for installer’s due to Wayfair’s delays and misinformation. The entire timeline for my retirement house renovation and move-in has been destroyed by unreliability and misinformation and chaos. Wayfair talk is smooth, but delivering on that smooth slick talk is worthless.

    Be careful what you are buying, they will put a whole bedroom in their pictures and then in writing tell you that it's only a dresser for sale for $1,400. Their pictures are deceiving you think you are getting one thing but you are not and then when you try to order the rest of it they say that they can't help you because they don't actually sell it. I recently just bought an $800 headboard that I thought was a full bed they offered me to pay them $200 to come pick it up. They wouldn't sell me the running boards or the footboard separately but they had an option to buy the full bed that they actually had in the picture. It wasn't till I went back in and looked in small writing on the last page it said headboard only. Do your due diligence make sure you check every detail about what you buy. They will not help you they will give you the runaround and then charge you to make it better even though they're not making it better because they didn't offer the rest of the bed.

    I placed an order for a vanity desk and mirror in the color gray on January 29, 2025. After about two weeks, I reached out to inquire about a status to my order as I had not received an email confirmation advising of shipment. When I made contact the agent on the phone reached out to the warehouse and also created an initial ticket to inquire about the status of my order. Within the next week of creating the ticket, I received an email confirmation that my order was being shipped on February 19, 2025. My order was finally delivered on March 1sf of 2025 during this visit the delivery people did not set up my desk or vanity mirror even though full service was included in my order.

    I then had to wait an additional week as I had to call back to inquire about why the full service set up was not initiated and completed, and when someone will return to set up my desk and vanity mirror. Upon waiting the additional week, I opened up the box and saw that the wrong color desk was sent. When I emailed to inquire about what can be done as far as a refund for sending the wrong color a refund was initiated with nobody responding to me in email or giving me a call as requested. The refund was initiated on a virtual card that I do not have access to as I paid for my vanity set through a third-party call Katapult.

    I then asked to have the refund reversed and a store credit be placed on my account I have yet to hear a response via email or phone call to resolve this matter in waiting for the second round of delivery people to install my vanity desk and mirror set when the package was opened prior to them arriving to see if the mirror was the right color, it was determined that it was defective. I have taken pictures of the desk in the wrong color and the defective mirror and have emailed this information to Wayfair and no one has yet to respond to my email nor call me from management. I am now requesting a full refund of the $1400 that was paid to them in full.

    I bought a steel gazebo in 2023 and paid for a 5 year warranty thru Allstate (SquareTrade) just to be safe. The gazebo arrived and did not have the correct top to it, contacted Wayfair. They tried to get the vendor to replace it but could not contact them, so they sent a new gazebo. This one had the right top. A year and half into it and the gazebo welding is peeling and cracked along with the material pulling away from the seams. So I contacted Allstate, sent in pictures. Explained the problem. They came back with, "We don't cover weather," and denied the claim and closed it! My warranty said it covers broken hardware and seam separation. They refuse to talk to me about it.

    I went back to Wayfair and told them and they said you have to go thru Allstate, I explained that they are not helping me and want Wayfair to step in. They declined so now I am stuck with this gazebo that should last longer than a year and half. To me this damages Wayfair's name and credibility to have a warranty company that is a scam being pushed thru your company to buy. I will not purchase again thru Wayfair for that kind of customer service!

    Wayfair is the worst. I ordered a bed from them for my daughter and paid for Angie's list to put it together. The guy came out and discovered that they were several pieces of hardware missing. I called Wayfair that night or actually did the really idiotic text thing, but did manage to get to a person, but she barely spoke English. She did not order the parts as she said she would several days later I had not gotten any kind of an email so I once again got into the text chat thing with them and they did finally order the parts that time, but it took over a week for the parts to come when they arrived. They sent all the hardware for the bed once again, but the only thing missing was the one we needed. I then called them back once again because the Angie's list person was coming back the next day to put the bed together, I got rudeness and no help so the only thing I could do at this point was to accept a 20% discount on the bed which is ridiculous.

    We've had to go out now and try to find the part which was not very easy to do my husband is actually out right now going to the area hardware store. He's been to three so far and they don't have the part. Very, very unsatisfied and just remember most of their customer service people if you actually get to speak to them, do not speak English. Horrible. I will never buy anything else from them again.

    I placed a large order and most items came fine. However, I ordered a teak stool that came broken. I requested a replacement and received that. However, the original came to me with the box mangled and unusable. I did not have a box that would fit the stool not hold the weight (56 pounds). After a couple of AI interactions, I asked to speak to a person and was told I would receive an email which I did not get. I finally got to text with someone and still no help. Wayfair would not send a replacement box not reimburse for me to purchase one. Their suggestion was to look up a place to give me a free box.     I ordered a mattress from Wayfair on a Tuesday, and the website clearly stated I would receive it by Saturday. That was a big reason I made the purchase. Well, here we are, Monday, and still no mattress! If you can’t guarantee delivery by the promised date, why even advertise it?     Th company is arrogant and its representatives are rude. They kept a search I made several years ago in my cart on their web site. When I ordered a product, they shipped me instead the old selection. They sent me all the communication to an e-mail I never use. I am not sure why they have that e-mail on my account. I could not see what they send until it showed up at my driveway. I considered that an error of the company not mine. However, two reps insisted rudely that I must pay the return shipping cost. A supervisor later reduced it but never cancelled it. I am not going to shop there again. With that approach to customer service, they are not going to last long.

    I purchased 3 rugs that are all the same style, different sizes. They are all defective! The 8x10 was used with yellow and dingy dark spots, 2x4 the back trim was unraveled, and 2x3 the right edge is slanted not straight like the left side of the rug. I didn’t even ask for a return as I like the rugs a lot. Wayfair completely denied a return and exchange. They stated that they reached out to the 3rd party/manufacturer and this is normal with the rugs. UNBELIEVABLE and I am beyond FURIOUS. I will NEVER order from Wayfair again.     Wayfair has a variety of items which is convenient, but be aware that they have zero customer service. Even to return an item, they will charge you the shipping. Additionally, they don’t price match. For instance, I bought a bed frame last year listed at $160. Now it is listed at $80 without it even being on sale. They manipulate the prices like this all the time, and when you try to contact customer service, they simply say they don’t do price adjustments and that their pricing depends on factors such as market conditions, the suppliers, etc. It’s a very shady practice and their constant “sales” are just a business malpractice and psychological play to advertise prices as higher than their real price. I wouldn’t recommended buying from them and can assure you can find better service and prices elsewhere.

    Wayfair shipped duplicate items as they send non-stop emails to get you to complete sale/cart. Items kept popping up, duplicated. I deleted and still they were delivered. I spend one HOUR trying to get return label online and speaking to supervisors. They refused to credit the shipping for return $37!!! They punish the customer for their errors. That told me that my return of my ONE and ONLy item SEVEN years ago was "one too many" and therefore they will not credit. I have ordered many items since as does my company.     I ordered a triangle climber for my grandkids for Valentine's Day. I received a rocking bike, scooter, trampoline all in one. They did not have another one to send and only offered a similar one for double the price to arrive by Valentine's Day. No discount offered to get the more expensive one.     I’d give them ZERO stars if I could. I ordered furniture on Jan 21, 25. Delivery date was Feb 2 2025. It shipped. They took the money and then 3 days later changed the delivery date to the end of Feb to March 3, 2025. This was not acceptable as I sold my furniture and expected my to be here. I called. She could send a recliner for the handicapped person to use while doing her therapy and such for free, I told her, "I’d prefer to cancel." I want all my furniture to match but was only offered that! I said ok. She sent me a recliner. It arrived missing the back part of the chair so it was unusable! The following Monday Alicia called. I told her and sent pics. She said to dispose of it! I had to go and buy a chair because he ins only pays for therapy of the person living there can do it. To do it they need a chair that is comfortable that they can use the pulley system to lift and sit so the patio furniture I am using isn’t suitable.

    I had to pay 863.00 for a recliner that included delivery, this was from a local furniture store because I had 1 day to get her a chair before therapist came back. It won’t match what I bought from Wayfair. Alicia said, "I can cancel your order and waive the return fee," at this point I lost my mind and said, "Why wasn’t I offered this a week ago when all this started." Alicia said, "Calls are recorded." I said, "Good. I recorded them also and I clearly told you first call I wanted to cancel and said what CS told me. You agreed and offered me one solution." She had a melt down and said she was a horrible CS agent and hung up on me! How professional. I’m sorry you got called out for lying! Never buy from them again! Not only have I had issues even getting a reply about my order, when I finally did get a tracking number for it, it says it is not found by ANY carrier service.     I ordered two French doors from Wayfair, and the experience has been beyond frustrating. The first one arrived completely shattered, so I had to go through the hassle of returning it. The second one has been rescheduled three times, and every time I reach out, Wayfair gives me the same canned response—they can’t do anything about it.

Sent text back couldn’t guarantee a cancel.. 2 days later they ship the item. :( Talked to a couple representatives per their little scheme stating it was too late.     Wayfair used to have amazing customer service. Not anymore. Ordered an ottoman that the entire bottom was ripped out. They wanted to send me replacement fabric for it. I would have to remove the current fabric with a ton of staples and figure out how to get the new piece. We settle on 20% refund because I could not return the item as it's too large and a pain in the neck to return. Then, I got 2 end tables with outlets (regular and USB). The USB ports don't work on one of them so I asked for a replacement. My options are return the item or 20% refund. How about replacing the tiny part rather than making me lug a heavy endtable somewhere to return and have to put another one together again. Will NOT buy from Wayfair again!

    Just received my chair and ottoman order, which I paid $533. Lo36.6" Wide Classic and Overstuffed Soft Heavy Duty - looks beautiful on the web page but it comes in two not so large boxes to be completely assembled! Nothing was indicated on the website about total assembly. I had a sick feeling about this, knowing there's no way what comes out of those boxes will equal the plush, beautiful couch/chair depicted on-line. I called the company before opening and the telephone representative was not helpful at all! Seems the chair comes compressed and should you put it together, and not like it you have to pay to return it, and if you don't want to assemble it and want to send back immediately you still have to pay a shipping cost of $100. Loser company - Don't buy! I've ordered chairs online before and they come as chairs, maybe you have to screw the feet on, but they are chairs.

However if you expect any assistance from customer service, or if you expect them to bend even a little to ensure they keep you as a customer, forget it.     I bought several items in a single transaction. One faced several delays in shipping and they finally said they would ship it after 6 months at which I asked them to cancel it. Another came damaged and they said they would give me a replacement after 6 months. I refused, and they said they would give me a refund. I didn't get a refund, so I contacted them again after almost a month and they said they would escalate the issue and give me a refund. It's been two months, and I still haven't gotten a refund. Another item came with missing parts, so they replaced it with another one. Another item came damaged and they replaced it as well. Another item had a terrible finish. So, tldr: items are poor quality, there's a high chance you will need to ask for a replacement and wait for the time that will take, they may even push back the original shipping date by 6 months, and you do not receive refunds. Avoid.

    Dropshipper selling items for other companies like Amazon and other options, but don't provide the level of customer service of other companies by any measure. They fall far short of industry standard these days. If they ship a defective product, they're going to expect the customer to eat a large percentage of the cost to return it even though it's completely out the customer's hands. Nothing they sell can't be purchased from somewhere else. The smart decision is just to buy direct or buy from a retailer that has better customer service. Wayfair adds no value to the process other than that of a search engine.

    Recently ordered a loveseat for my office, it arrived with about 1/3 of the pieces, one cushion, no back, no frame cover. They would not send a new one, refunded me then told me to donate or throw away what I was sent.     Worst Customer Service Experience Ever! I recently had the misfortune of ordering an electric fireplace from Wayfair, and the entire experience was a nightmare. The product arrived damaged, which in itself was frustrating, but what followed was even worse. I had to wait MONTHS for a replacement, despite numerous attempts to get in touch with their customer service.

    Their support team was beyond incompetent – they repeatedly asked the same questions over and over, as if they hadn’t read any of the previous correspondence. It felt like they were intentionally dragging their feet and doing everything in their power to avoid resolving the issue. Even after several promises that the replacement would be expedited, Wayfair failed to deliver on their word. Not only was the process incredibly slow, but their team refused to properly compensate me for the trouble, time wasted, and the inconvenience of having to deal with the endless back-and-forth. This was not my first experience with Wayfair but it will be my last. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid them at all costs. The product may eventually arrive, but don't expect any help if something goes wrong.

    Chinese cheap garbage products. Bought 2 outdoor storage cushion boxes $600. After 1 winter they fell apart creating gaps that mice got in and water ruined my $4000 set. Contacted them all they had to say is sorry. Also that they no longer carry those boxes. No wonder why it's garbage.     So I purchased a bed as a Christmas gift on a Black Friday sale in November, along with it a mattress cover as well. The mattress cover came within the time frame it was promised, the mattress dates kept being pushed back, then after repeated enquirers that each had a 10 day window, they just up and refunded my purchase, no explanation, no compensation, TWO Months later (Merry Christmas!!). I asked for them to reimburse my mattress cover for my inconvenience, or gift it as a show of good faith, their virtual apologetic customer service representative said they could not do this. Sometimes I felt it was AI the entire time in their chats and although they told me they had names. Ordered wallpaper and it never shipped but they take your money as soon as you have ordered. I want to cancel to get my $221 dollars returned but they will not do it. I have to wait for a certain date before I can contact them. Their policy for refunds is they issue a store credit or you can get a refund but it will take up to 2 weeks. What ripoff.     Where do I START! This place is HORRIBLE. Kelly Clarkson needs to unassociate herself with this place. I bought a 4-wheeler had missing pieces took a week to settle it. Gave them another try and ordered a blow-up bounce house for my Grands birthday. I should have opened it and blew it up, I didn’t.     We ordered a 4 piece patio set in November, based on an expected delivery date prior to Thanksgiving. Its now January 20, 2025 and we still do not have a completed purchase. When they didn’t deliver by the outside delivery date of Nov 18, I called. They couldn’t tell me where my product was or when it would be delivered and said they would open an investigation. Then they promised a delivery in mid December. Of 4 pieces, only one arrived. I called. Same runaround. People are nice but can’t give great answers. They yes you to death and show compassion, but it's meaningless when they don’t deliver.

    Next scheduled delivery, they are late and it needs to be canceled. When rescheduled, 3 pieces are supposed to come. 2 come and one is broken. Then they tell us they can’t complete the order. I ask my options. Then they say they will complete it.. New delivery date scheduled. In the meantime, I complain. I get a followup from the customer service team. They didn’t give me any new info, it was just to make them feel better about themselves because it did nothing for me. Anyway for the next delivery date, They don’t show up. The delivery team said they had equipment issues at 11:30am. Our delivery window was 1-5…nobody called. We’re rescheduled again. This is a disaster. If you invest in the stock market, short the stock, I don’t know how they can stay in business.

    I purchased a washer, dryer, and two pedestals from Wayfair over a month ago, with the promise that my order would arrive by December 23rd. As of today, I have received nothing. Despite making daily attempts to resolve the issue, I’ve been met with the same empty promise: “Your case is being escalated; you’ll receive an update in 1 to 3 business days.” It’s been weeks of this repetitive and unhelpful response.

    Horrible experience. I ordered a couch to be delivered on January 10th. I was there all day. Never received a call and no one showed up. I was literally watching the little status screen waiting for my delivery. Never was there. I talked to customer service and they said it was an issue with the 3rd party delivery team and rescheduled for January 17th. 24 hours later, I get an automated email that my order has been canceled and they are charging me $140 for the return. Call customer service back and they say there is nothing they can do to refund the $140 (even though, again, I did not want to return the couch at all). They said "I wasn't a frequent enough customer of Wayfair to warrant an exception to the return fee" and, even if I did choose to order the couch again (despite being charged for $140 for something they never delivered), they would not honor the original price. Just a total scam in every way.

    The chair I bought from Wayfair is of good quality, but the reason I've given this such a low experience is because of the experience dealing with Wayfair. I kept getting notifications from them that this chair was delivered when it was not, had to call them over and over. They tried to tell me I needed to call the third-party delivery company myself (uh, that's not my responsibility). Finally, after weeks of this and not receiving the chair, I asked for a refund.

    At first they said they would give it to me then the next day they stated again the chair had been delivered (they supposedly have geolocation data that shows this) and I needed to file a police report. Of course they tell me this via an email address that doesn't accept response emails back. Finally, I call the delivery company (over and over and over and over), and after getting promised multiple delivery dates that come and go (supposedly because of several glitches in their system) I finally get this chair. Interesting that the delivery company finally delivers the chair almost a week after Wayfair tells me they have geolocation data saying the chair was already delivered to my house (so this was a massive lie by them).

    Apparently Wayfair's process is to deliver furniture to a third-party delivery company who then lines up to deliver to the customer, and when the delivery company has issues, Wayfair leaves you hanging out to dry and to deal with the problem yourself because they think they've done their part by getting the furniture to the delivery folks (but the notification they send says they have delivered to you). I will never buy anything from Wayfair again.

    The last 3 times I ordered from Wayfair I've had issues with my order. Their customer service policies are nowhere near "customer" service. Wayfair's policies are geared toward their own bottom line; they are not helpful at all. I find them to have a very independent attitude when an issue is no fault of the buyer and the buyer has to take financial responsibility to make their purchase as expected.     I received an email about Wayfair's year end sale event and decided to look at their sales. I was particularly interested in shoe cabinets. I came across a Bamboo Shoe Cabinet by OUKANING SKU#EVGH1552 and the description was "10-layer Rectangular Freestanding Bamboo Shoe Cabinet with Doors (Set of 4)". The listing price was $149.95. I contacted a sales rep to verify that I would receive 4 individual storage units, and I was reassured multiple times by Irwin S that this was the case. I saved our conversation just in case something went wrong.

    I received my order, and it was only 1 set. I immediately reached out to customer service and explained to them what happened. I even sent in a copy of my conversation with Irwin S, the sales associate as proof. They refused to honor the sale and offered me a refund of 25% and I declined because it was not the right thing to do. They should have honored the sale and sent me 3 more sets or reimbursed me the equivalent of 3 sets which would have been $112.46. Very disappointed about the whole situation because I have proof, they changed the ad after I purchased it, and I have a copy of my conversation with the sales associate where it clearly states that he confirmed it was for 4 sets at $149.95.     Wayfair allows anybody and everybody to sell through their platform. My disappointment is they do not vet their products or sellers. It is the wild wild West. Once a purchase is made it is a total gamble as to whether you will get your product and if you do if it is actually what you ordered, and the quality is what you expected. Your only recourse should something go awry is to cancel your order or get a refund within the limited time stated. They will not do anything above and beyond for wasting your time. My recommendation is to buy through any other website that will stand by the sellers they've allowed into their store. For example I can think of a good major retailer (starts with the letter 'A') that stands by the vendors they allow to sell on their platform.

    Only “part” of a complete product was shipped and it was completely the wrong product anyway. They missed the promised date for the product I ordered. With confirmation of the correct product ordered they still won’t sent out the product I paid for and no timeline. They have already received the returned product.

    I purchased a tv stand with the understanding it was next day delivery. I received a notification that said it had been shipped. I took off work to receive it however it never came. When I tracked it It was in Ellenwood, Ga which is only 30 miles from my address. I checked today and it's still in Ellenwood. I really think they mislead you with the next-day delivery with no intent on it coming the next day. Customer service was not able to provide me any information at all. Do get scammed by Wayfair. I could have just ordered the one I really wanted from Amazon with a true 5-day delivery window!

    I have purchased a number of items from Wayfair.com without a single issue, problem and/or concern until this last order. However, this order was for a larger, heavy piece of furniture. This item was to be in home delivery at a scheduled date and time. I have come to learn that Wayfair may include free shipping, but they don't tell you they are using the cheapest, most inept third rate shipper they can find! Said third party shipper took the idea of bad to all new heights.

    After several gone off the rails phone calls in which the shipper could never locate my order I was finally able to connect with someone that managed to have a clue. My delivery got scheduled for a time slot of 2:00PM to 6:00PM. This time slot was confirmed a number of times. At some unknown hour before the sun came up, in the dark no less, this delivery company opened gates onto private property and dumped a 200lb item into our driveway and left. Not even a knock on the door, no prior phone call, nothing! How, exactly, is this considered "In Home" delivery for a scheduled afternoon appointment! Never order anything of size and weight from Wayfair.com unless you intend to dot every I and cross every T with them prior to placing an order. Verify beyond reasonable doubt that shipping and delivery is not via a third party shipper known as Updike-BFL.

    Do not buy ANYTHING from Wayfair!! I purchased a recliner (order # **) on Christmas Eve. I received a tracking # from the automated chat system yesterday per tracking the label was created on Christmas Day at 3am with no movement since. I reached out and talked to multiple reps one rep purposely disconnected the call one rep told me they “can see” that FedEx picked up the recliner. Another rep told me they would have to do a 10 day investigation to see where the recliner is.

    Now that a supervisor is involved she’s stating they gotta reach out to the warehouse to make sure they not shipping the recliner. If there hasn’t been any movement in 2 weeks why do she think the recliner is going to all of a sudden leave the warehouse!!!! Then I told the supervisor I’m going to dispute the charge with my bank at this point. I want a refund. This lady had the nerves to say they will place a hold on my wayfair account if I decide to. LADY I DON'T CARE. I'm not ordering nothing else from this horrible site!!!

    Ordered a recliner and after I got 4 different delivery times I tried to cancel one hour as I was having surgery and wouldn’t receive in time. I was sent the next day that I couldn’t cancel due to shipping preparedness. I received a piece of the recliner on 01/03 and called to complain of not receiving the entire chair if even in pieces. Told them about cancellation and not receiving everything in one delivery when I tried to cancel. I told them I wanted a discount which was denied. I told them to contact FEDEX to not deliver rest of packages and need to pick up the one package that came with a $50 charge. Now I had shoulder surgery and can only use one arm now. I was told no more packages would come from FEDEX. That she canceled the rest.

    01/06 FedEx showed up to pick up the one package but didn’t cause Wayfair never sent me or them a label to send back to Wayfair and if he took it they would probably deliver it back to me. Today 01/07 a FedEx driver showed up to pick up package again that was on my porch and there was another package with another piece of the recliner on my porch, so now I’ve received two pieces of the recliner 4 days apart from each other and by the looks of it there needed to be two more packages with the other pieces of the recliner.

    So long story short I tried to cancel this order one hour after and was denied and packages are showing up in different packages on different days ands days apart from each other. I told FedEx guy to take the two packages with him and he did, yet I still don’t know if other pieces of the recliner are going to come because the second package should not have came when the Wayfair lady said she stopped them. I am so disappointed in this whole situation as one recliner comes in four different boxes, which is understandable, but for them to show up on different days days apart from one another says to me they came from different facilities and were not prepared to ship when I tried to cancel them in the first place.

    I would’ve kept the recliner if it showed up on one day, but it’s been 4 days apart for two packages and still don’t have a full recliner to assemble. I will never, ever order from Wayfair again and I suggest no one else does either!! I order from Amazon all the time and have never experienced anything like this!! Wayfair is terrible to deal with in all aspects!! I receive my TEMU orders better than Wayfair.

    I ordered an Amore. When we put the doors on, they didn't fit. I paid 200 to assemble. We did not know the doors didn't fit until the final assembly. Now they want me to take it apart and box it for return. I have to pay money to take it apart and they won't credit. I will never buy from them again, not customer friendly at all.

    I will not buy anything from Wayfair. This was my first time purchasing a couch from this site and I was a little hesitant before I did so. When I got the couch It was too small for the area in my home size so I returned it the next day in its original box and packaging with the receipt as stated on the return policy webpage.. When I called to have the box picked up, I was told I will have to pay a $75 pick up fee and I was told via email I would receive a refund in 3 to 5 business days. It’s been 20 days and I still have not received my refund. I even received the email with the tracking number stating that I will receive my refund 3 to 5 business days.

    I’ve called the customer service number a couple of times and where I could not get any update until 15 days later. Also the tracking mechanism that’s put in place for you to track is malfunctioning. I finally got a knowledgeable representative 15 days later that told me. He will reach out to finance to see what was going on and then told again I would have to wait another 3 to 5 business days to get my refund. This is not acceptable. I believe as a customer you should honor your refund policy and return refunds within the timeline you say you would return it. I will not purchase anything from this site ever again.

    My husband and I ordered a dresser through Wayfair in early fall, 2024. The first dresser we ordered was delivered damaged and the color was nothing like what was shown on their website. We decided to order a different dresser, from a different company, and that one was received damaged. We ordered a replacement for the damaged dresser, and it was back ordered.

    The dresser was projected to arrive in January 2024. After waiting several months for a dresser, we were looking forward to the anticipated delivery date. As the date approached, without word from Wayfair, we decided to call only to discover the dresser order had been cancelled. We received no email nor refund to let us know. After I called and was told the dresser was canceled. Only then was we offered a refund. Earlier before we ordered the dresser, we had ordered two nightstands that matched the dresser. The first order came broken, the second order came broken, but the third order was received in good condition. So, now we have two nightstands and no dresser to match them. We can return the nightstands, but the shipping is on us. I don’t think I will ever order from Wayfair again.

    I bought a ceiling fan. This was my first and only purchase on Wayfair. Price was not great, but the design fairly unique. Was told I would receive it in 3-5 days but shortly after ordering and paying, I got a message that it was "out of stock" and it would not arrive for 4 weeks. I decided to wait, but a few days later I found a similar fan somewhere else for a fraction of the price (like 1/3 the price). It arrived 2 days later. In all my excitement and the holidays, I forgot to cancel my order with Wayfair and was therefore surprised when it showed up a month after I ordered it.

    For the following week, I made several attempts to start a return online, but kept getting in a loop that would take me to my order and then tell me I didn't have any orders to return. When I clicked the link for help, it would not give me the choice to get help returning an item or say that I didn't have an order to return even though I had an order number. I finally called customer service and after about 3 minutes of interrogation to prove I was who I am, my return was finally approved and I was told they were emailing me a return label and asked if I would like to pay FedEx $14.95 or $18? WOW! Order took so long that I forgot about it, online service is broken to make returns miserable, and now you want me to pay for shipping it back? WOW. I'm not a happy customer and do not recommend this store.

    If you only see the photos on Wayfair website, you should never order online with Wayfair, because if you want to return the items, you have to pay for the return shipping fee. My order the return fee costs $100 out of $400. There is Amazon and Temu, you can return items without paying out of pocket for return shipping fee, why I have to choose Wayfair?

    When I received my first order, the rugs did not meet the product description. They were described as low pile but were in fact shag. It was a laborious process to get Wayfair to authorize a return shipment and refund. Another of my orders showed as delayed for 10 days with no tracking information available. Wayfair insisted I had to wait another 10 days before they could cancel my order. I was on the phone for 48 minutes (at least 40 of those on hold) before they finally issued a refund of $58.00.

    I ordered a couch in September. I received an email on 10/3/24, 10/30/24 and 11/28/24 saying there was a “delay” and an apology and option to cancel the order. It is now 1/3/25 and the website NOW says there is a “backorder”. My estimated delivery date has been pushed multiple times and it is now 1/25 -1/28 AND THEY WON’T CANCEL AND REFUND MY PURCHASE?!? Apparently it is too far along in the process haha are you kidding me?! I have the option to return it once it arrives which will probably be another 4 months from now. This is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. I honestly can’t believe they are allowed to operate like this?

    I purchased a patio set from Wayfair on Nov 29th, 2024. I received a confirmation email on Nov 30th, 2024 with an expected delivery date between Dec 7th, 2024- Dec 10th, 2024. After not receiving my purchase I went onto the app to see what where my patio set was. I reached out to Wayfair via their virtual assistant, they informed me that the item was placed on hold and they would be be contacting purchasing to get the hold released (which they didn’t do) and I should hear back within a few days, they did however manage to processed my payment and took my money on Dec 10th, 2024. I have still yet to receive the item that I purchased.

    I called back a few days later and asked to speak with a supervisor. They connected me to Evelyn who informed me that the virtual assistant didn’t send a request to release the hold on my patio set. She assured me she would send the request and contact me to keep me updated. Evelyn also informed me that it could take 96 hours to get a response. I waited, receiving generic emails and one phone call claiming that she is handling the situation. I continued to wait through the holidays and still nothing (while leaving voicemails and emails to Evelyn).

    My item is still on hold and it is now Jan 2, 2025. I spoke with another supervisor today (Tim or Tom I believe). He informed me that Wayfair has purposely put my item on hold claiming that it was priced wrong during the black Friday sale, unfortunately no one can even tell me what the price was suppose to be for that sale. The supervisor today informed me that Wayfair DOES NOT HAVE TO HONOR my purchase and they can leave my purchase and money on hold indefinitely unless I cancel my item and pay an extremely large amount for the same patio set or get another set (which would cost a significant amount more money for the quaintly that I paid for).

    He offer an alleged one time exception and give me a measly 30% off that would would be an extra $600+ on top of the money I was already charged for my patio set. (Every supervisor I have spoke with has been trying to get me to cancel my item so they don’t have to fill my order, So clearly this is not an exception and it's safe to say this probably happens a lot.) Nobody will help me get my patio set and all supervisor and managers seem to not be able to provide any information as to what the sale price was suppose to be.

    I am now in a terrible situation. I have been charged and they will not send me what I paid for. I need this set for my business. I have purchased a few things from Wayfair in the past and have been disappointed by everything except 1 item. I decided to give them one more shot because the reviews were good and I thought I was shopping at a reputable company. Clearly I was very wrong. Now I have missed out on the black Friday sale and it's going to cost me and my company much more money then I intended on spending. This is the worst experience I have ever had. NEVER buy anything from this company. Take your money and go for somewhere that will actually give you what you paid for.

    Purchased a couch boy what was I thinking? First of all the cushions are hard as a rock. As I sit on it it makes noise from the back. Sounds like a drum or if it’s saying something every time I sit back and come forward, it talks, squeaks, make noises my my. I wish I could send this crap back, wasting my money.
