Wayfair's prices are not good. Also, they falsely advertise the price for things on the main listing of the website, then once you click on the item, or try to buy it, the price increases. Sometimes dramatically. This has happened to me frequently when browsing items that I would like to buy at Wayfair. I feel that they are dishonest in the way that they try to get people to their site. For this reason, I won't use them again.

I had bought some furniture somewhere else and was looking to furnish another room but I wanted to look for an alternative than the stores that were around here. My daughter told me about Wayfair. We got on the site and compared prices from what I was seeing in the stores versus what they had. I also went and looked in the stores to see what the piece looked like before I purchased it through Wayfair and Wayfair had a better price and free shipping. All of the items came before the first estimation that we got from them which was delightful.
However, there's a grommet that is missing that screwed the leg in to the bottom of the couch. I originally emailed and then their rep tried to place a call back to me. Typically I work through the day so she left a very polite message and then I tried to call her back and got her voicemail. She emailed back and said to take pictures of it but I have not gotten back because I can't turn the couch over and get a picture of it myself. Right now the couch is just sitting on that leg that isn't attached. I've gotten several things from Wayfair and everything else has been wonderful. It's just that item that isn't. Overall, I've had a good experience with Wayfair and I'm relatively happy.

Wayfair's online ordering process was very easy to navigate. However, I’ve spent quite a bit of money there but never get any promotions or discounts. I wish I did then I’d feel more appreciated. Then the first time I applied for financing, it rerouted me to a lender that had like a heinous credit card interest rate and I didn’t realize that it was outside. I had to cancel it all and go back in and reorder everything. But otherwise, I have not had issues with the website. Also, I was very pleased with the lady I spoke with a couple of days ago. A couple of items that arrived were not the color that was expected and she fixed the problem well.

Ordered two pie dishes that were on sale from Wayfair. I purchased these items 18 days before Thanksgiving and I still do not have my items!! This is so frustrating! Every time I call Wayfair I get a different story. I purchased the pie dishes for Thanksgiving so that I would have something to serve dessert out of, but my items did not arrive. I will never purchase anything thing from them again. It's not worth the aggravation.

I am feeling very disappointed with Wayfair on this Black Friday. I have been waiting for this one item on their website to go on sale on Black Friday. Not only the item that I have been waiting to go on sale didn't go on sale but they also jacked up the price for even more than it was originally. The worse part of it is that they are claim their product to be on "sale". How stupid Wayfair do you really think we are? Very disappointed.

I had this set in my cart and when I tried to check out they were out of stock and that more would be arrive in a couple days and they would notify me. When I was notified a couple days later that more were in stock the price had gone up. Wayfair would not honor the price of the dining set that I had placed in my cart. That tells me a lot about a company and its culture.

I ordered a furniture from Wayfair back in the middle of October. They told me it wouldn’t get shipped out until the middle of November so that frustrated me that it’s gonna take four weeks to ship. Then it gets here then we got to putting it together and it’s broken. The damage on the furniture looked like it was damaged upon loading or at the warehouse. We called and told them that they sent us broken furniture and I wanted them to send us a new one.
When the furniture was broken, it would’ve been nice if they would’ve been like, “Garrett, we’re so sorry for the experience. Not only are we gonna send you the new furniture and we’re gonna expedite its delivery, but we’re also gonna credit you some kind of amount,” or things along those lines to make up for the inconvenience that’s been caused. Because the broken furniture took four weeks to get here, and then they’re telling me it’s gonna take another four weeks to get the replacement. So I've essentially been waiting eight weeks for furniture. They said they will hopefully send it within the next two weeks. I’m an attorney at a law firm and right now I’m the only one who doesn’t have office furniture.

When I checked my Wayfair order online, it said that the shipping company didn't have a correct phone number for me to schedule the drop-off. So I called Wayfair and the guy said that they had an incorrect phone number, but the automated thing said they have found my order by my phone number. If they had the right phone number, why doesn't the shipping company have the right phone number? He told me that I should have received an email that they would schedule the delivery. I was instructed to call the company and give them the number I found in the email, so I did that.
I talked to a guy and he said that he doesn't know why it's saying that and he took my phone number. He said it had gotten me after hours like it's 7:00. When I called the delivery company the next day, the delivery company said they don't have the option to say 'could not contact'. The only option that the delivery company had is to check off saying that there's no right phone number. I was told that they only have a few options that they can choose until they said they have my phone number. So, they're trying to call me and they can't get in touch with me. But in the end, the delivery company set it all up and then delivered the sofa. I bought it for over $1300, but when I went into a local, high-end boutique in Lafayette, Louisiana, they had the exact sofa and pillows and it was just $899. It was a bummer. I could have bought a rug, or half a rug, with that difference, so that was a big hit.

I ordered fixtures for our bathroom renovation on Wayfair, a vanity sink and the shower. It was pretty intuitive to use their website. They were about the cheapest I could find so it was a good value. The ordering process was pretty simple and the shipping was quick too. It was a good experience and I was impressed. I'd use them again.

I had the hot tub in mind and when we went online to look for it, Wayfair came up. I received the tub when they said it would come, and it's great. The delivery person said they had white glove service. However, the tub had to be set up. I had help in doing this, so it's not been an issue for me, but if it had just been me, I wouldn't have known how to do some of the things that we had to do to set it up.

We bought a new house and needed some furnishing. We are new in the United States and my friend told me about the Wayfair website. I got one curtain that’s broken and the customer service replied to me immediately that they will refund it. But, I haven't got the refund yet or they haven't made me aware if it's already in my account or if I still have to wait. Other than that, all the furniture is packed very good even the very heavy dining table that’s a little bit broken when I received it but it's fine with me. It’s very easy to find the things I need and the waiting time is not too long so the purchase experience is very nice and good.

Their pricing and selections made me choose Wayfair over other retailers. The ordering process online was pretty straightforward. However I wasn't able to get any kind of discount the first time. I had looked around online and I found a coupon code, but it took me a whole lot to get to that point. It would've been nicer if I got that upfront when I was a new customer. It's also been disappointing that I haven't gotten the main things that I wanted like the bed and the nightstands since they've been on back order. I almost even canceled my order. The products are supposed to arrive today.

Wayfair carried the brand that we had seen as we were looking in the showroom for some furniture, that was why we selected them. It was just as cost effective as buying it directly from the showroom of the furniture carrier. Factoring in the free shipping, it was actually a little bit cheaper to get it from Wayfair. It was easy ordering online as the process is pretty straightforward. The things we've ordered have all come very quickly. They were also efficient in keeping me up to date on shipping status on when something is shipped and anticipated to arrive, and if it's a special kind of product interacting with the special trucking delivery company.

The chairs that we got from Wayfair had turned out good but I reached out to the customer service a few times because we ordered a dining room table and it keeps being back ordered. It was supposed to be here weeks ago and now it's not going to arrive 'til the end of November. It would be nice if the shipping days were accurate. We’re getting frustrated because we wanted it here for Thanksgiving. They weren’t able to rush ship it, but we ended up getting money off of the order. Other than that, it's good and we still go to Wayfair because of the selection they have online.

I wanted a cowhide rug for my dining room and Wayfair was one of the few sites that had the rug I wanted that was made in the U.S. I ordered the rug in August and was supposed to have it for Halloween, October 31st but I got an email saying that it was delayed. It's now been pushed to December 20th. I'm assuming it's custom. It was $2,800. Then the mix-up was I sent back a reply saying "can this order be canceled"? which was a question and not to cancel it. But someone canceled my order. Within a couple of hours, I called and they had to almost tell me that they had to reorder it.
I look at it every week to see if the date has changed. I also either called someone or did a live chat and asked if my shipping could be expedited. I asked if there's a way that it can be shipped to me instead of ground. And I was told there was if I wanted to pay $54 more. I said no and that it's okay but it would have been nice to upgrade me to faster shipping. The rug issue is my only disappointment with Wayfair. Other than that, I've been very happy with the things I ordered from them. The people that place my order even respond when I write them an email which is so nice because I never expect that.

Their customer service is nothing but a bunch of liars who must think their customers are a bunch of idiots. Initially I ordered a bed on 10/19 that said it'll be shipping in 24 hours and would arrive between Nov 1st and 5th. On Nov 1st, I got an email from Wayfair saying it got pushed to December 5th, pending inventory update because they don't have the bed in stock. Okay what the **. It took them 11 days to realize that. To add to it, the link for the bed stopped working, saying there is nothing with that product name. I asked "why can I no longer access the product", their customer support was like "There was a glitch and the link works now." I said "no it doesn't just click on the link", and he said "no it works for me". As if we're using 2 different internets. Anyway, they gave me a list of other beds that I can order and that they'll be able to ship any of them right away.
So I go ahead and order one of these beds. According to their estimate it would be delivered Nov 17th to 18th. I was travelling on thanksgiving, so I thought that will be good enough, though it's 20 late than the original date but ** it whatever. On Nov 14th the bed arrived to my local delivery company, and the estimate was updated to Nov 17th and that I'll be contacted in 2 business days. On Nov 18th, still nothing, I emailed Wayfair, and their lying customer service said "oh no, that 17th date is when it will arrive to your local delivery company." So what the ** was the 14th? No response. Then he claimed that I'll be contacted within 2 business days of the 17th. It's the 21st now, and still nothing from these lying pieces of **. Okay now I'm travelling in a couple of days. Still don't have a bed, and their customer service just continues to lie about everything.

We were looking online for an item, and when we searched for this item on the Home Depot website, we got the online addresses of other online retail sites that were also selling this item. That’s how we found Wayfair. When we had gone to a store to see the price of a product that we wanted to buy, it seemed to be selling a bit cheaper when purchased online from Wayfair. It seems that Wayfair did not have the tax charge for the online purchase. For instance, I was looking for a king-size bed for my bedroom. When I searched for this at Wayfair, the ones they have cost $6,000 to $7,000 for the whole set. But the bed alone will cost more than that when bought at Lehmann's Furniture or the local furniture store, where furniture sells at much higher prices.
It's easy to get around Wayfair's website and we had no problem looking for the items that we wanted. We like to purchase online since there are more choices. On the other hand, when we walk into a store, there might just be a couple of choices there for the item that we want. For example, we wanted a bathroom mirror. Any store here will give us four or five choices, but sometimes people need something special or better, and so we searched online for more choices. We also have more discounts at Wayfair when we order more items. At the store, sometimes they have a promotion for a product, but sometimes they do not and you have to purchase the product at the regular price.
As for the quality of the items, it depends on what these items are. While some items that we got were of good quality and were not a lot different from what were displayed on the website, other items that we didn't actually see and touch before we put in our order came out a bit differently when we received them. I purchased online a double kitchen sink shown on the website, but when I received my order, it was a little different -- a bit damaged. But I couldn't simply return the item since I don't have time for the return shipping, so we just kept what they sent. So ordering online is better if we know the item and we’ve seen it before at a store. It’s better to take a detailed look at the exact appearance of what we’d like to buy before we put in our order, so that we can see if they're giving the wrong information about it.
For example, in our last purchase, we ordered some windows with specific size measurements, but when we received our order, each window measured half an inch less. When we ordered a window that measured 19 inches, we received a window that was only 18.5 inches, and when we ordered a window that measured 20 inches, we got a window that was only 19. 5 inches. We also ordered two 50 inch pieces that were to be connected to fit a big window measuring 100 inches, but the two pieces that they sent only measured 49.5 inches each. We were misled, and the online information on the product did not match what we actually got.
We had ordered not just one item, but many items with a total cost of almost $3,000. My wife called about the erroneous measurements of the items we got but they told my wife, "If you want to return the items, then you’ve got to pay for the return shipping fee and a restocking fee." This is not reasonable because it wasn’t our mistake since we put in the correct order and they were the ones who erred in sending us items with measurements that differed from what we had ordered.
In comparison, when we purchase online from Overstock, if there’s any problem or something’s wrong with an item that we got from them and we want to return the item, we just call them and they send us the return label right away, and then they send the replacement item that we want. This is good service. It was what happened before when I ordered a bathroom product and there was something wrong with what I got.
Overstock also doesn't sell a lot of high-priced items, so when you take a look online, Overstock seems to be selling the cheaper items while Wayfair is selling the more expensive ones. But considering the price between Wayfair and Overstock, I feel Wayfair has more high-quality products than Overstock. So despite all these, I would keep purchasing from Wayfair. The products they sell are of better quality.

They finally refunded the extra delivery fee I’d paid to make sure that it was delivered on time, but I still don’t have the item and it is creating some issues because I was in the process of moving and really needed that. The products and service are good, and I love it. Sometimes there's free shipping and promo discounts. The only negative thing is that the business customer service is lacking a bit. I've been on a Wayfair business account that somehow has been altered therefore I'm not getting the points that I should be getting. I called them a week ago about my loyalty account and I've not received a call back yet. But regular customer service for product has been fantastic. I kept asking Dustin where the handle was coming from since it is a small item and should ship quickly within the continental U.S. and he just kept saying it could take a certain amount of time. And I asked again where the item was coming from and he finally said Alabama!!! Well I live in Florida, basically a stone's throw away if I believe Dustin. Ordering from Wayfair or AllModern can come with some major hiccups... They use f.e. in MIAMI a so-called professional logistics partner Esquire Logistics, Co. that doesn't deserve that name. I had a larger item (hard to overlook in the warehouse) which reached Miami after a 10 day journey all the from California. So far so good... Then the last 2 miles between this so-called logistics partner of them and my shipping agent took 9 business days. But to me, tracking it online, it was marked delivered on the 9th of November, this was entered into their system. So I started searching for it. Of course, it was nowhere to find. They lied and hid the reality. Finally they delivered it on the 15th of November. Let me state that I called them on the 8th and asked about it, they told they did have the delivery address in MIA but not the phone number.
Worst part now is the so-called Wayfair Customer Advocacy; it took them more than 2 days to receive requested delivery paperwork from their logistics partner in MIA, Esquire Logistics, Co. And after that, they still deny the fact that the delivery had happened on the 15th of November as documented in my shipping agent's receipt papers. Lots of blah blah blah and an premature offer of discount to keep me as a customer but totally covering up those mistakes that were made. How can you work with people that lie straight out into your face? I spent a lot of money for the villa with them and I am now walking away... Well done, you so called customer advocate.

When I had to return something, their customer service reps have been very helpful and were very quick to help me with my issue. But their third party delivery system leaves something to be desired. We're flooded, so most of the contents of our house have set out by the end of the road, and this third party company came in and rolled over paint cans in our yard and set them aside for a different facility to pick up.
Then their truck driver went over those in the middle of my yard, like in the grass, a place he shouldn't have been with a truck. And when they delivered the box, it says, 'this way up' but they stood it on its wrong side. And they didn't follow my instructions to put it under the carport. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT!!! I'm so upset. It's too big to send back. I called 11-14-16 about the destroyed product. She offered me new faulty delay or $50 off. My husband had take off slats and rebuilt them. Reinforced sides with plywood and screws as well. Vinyl is ripped right in front from break. I bought all new linens from you. I bought a chair for her room for you.
Here's the thing, my daughter is blind and mentally challenged. She is now scared to go near the bed. This is horrible. This rd remains up and you know about the bed. Don't believe me? Put it together. Have someone 140 lbs lay down. You're going to hit the floor. It only took a minute for me to see it happened to others. So you knew. Last piece of furniture I will buy from you. Ever. The linens were ok. Bittersweet because they are now on a very low grade product. Cost of my husband buying products at Lowe's: $98. 4 additional hours of labor to repair. At the start of a home remodel, my wife and I decided to try to spread our purchases around a bit: Home Depot, Amazon, Lowe's, Best Buy and for the first time, Wayfair. The heavy wooden sliding barn door we liked was available from other sites, but the price was slightly lower on Wayfair. We placed the order with them on October 15. Almost immediately, we regretted it. On the final page of our checkout, it showed the anticipated delivery date of November 14. ONE MONTH for delivery, while other sites were offering 5 days on their doors.
Our fault. We should have cancelled and gone with a tried and true company. Instead, we decided the timing would actually work to our advantage (we wouldn't be ready to install it before then anyway, so at least it would be one less thing in the garage), and we waited it out. Wayfair notified us that we'd receive a shipping confirmation when it went out. By October 31 - 16 days after the order was placed, we hadn't received ANY correspondence. I called Wayfair customer service and was told the door was being shipped (coincidentally?) that very day from Utah, and would arrive on time (November 14) at our home in Florida.
Later that same day, we received an email stating that there was a problem with our order. It would ship on November 3 and arrive November 17. I had JUST spoken to someone hours before, and yet the information was already different. Naturally, my inference was that they never actually placed my order (but boy, they charged that card!), and when I called back on the 31st, it reminded them, so the email went out with the adjusted date. About a week later, we called because our Wayfair account online showed that the "Local Delivery Agent" had received our item and had us scheduled for delivery some time between 11:45 am and 11:45 am on December 31, 1999. Yes, you read that correctly. By their account, we'd received our door nearly 17 years before we even realized we would order it, within a delivery window of zero minutes.
"Obviously a glitch," I was told, and Wayfair promised to coordinate with the delivery company directly. That company did call us, and scheduled delivery for November 15 between noon and 4 pm. Note that this was almost a week after we knew they had it in their possession only 20 miles north of us. The delivery date comes. At 2 pm, I called the local delivery agent to find out if they had an estimated time, since we were at the midpoint of the window, and I'd heard nothing from anyone. I was rather rudely informed that it would be some time between noon and 4. I told them I knew that, but was asking for something a little more helpful, like perhaps a phone call when the delivery was on its way. "OH! Yes, we'll call 30 minutes before delivery," I was told.
At 5 pm -- one hour late -- I called the agent again and was told that the delivery people got held up assembling a treadmill, and they meant to call to tell me. "Sorry. They would call back when on their way." I received no call. The delivery truck just showed up at 5:45 pm. The packaging was visibly damaged, but the product was as we had expected and in good condition.
The entire process left me wondering two things: 1) Does Wayfair have any business selling items they can't deliver within a reasonable time frame, when nearly ALL of their competitors can manage to deliver orders in a week or less? 2) Does Wayfair follow up on orders, or check with local delivery agents to see if their customers are cared for? From my perspective as the customer, the delivery agency is an extension of Wayfair, not a separate entity. The fact that both parts of this process were horribly blundered brings me to my one star review. I do not see myself ordering from Wayfair again. Caveat emptor and stick to the well-known companies.

I’ve ordered a couple of times from Wayfair. Their cost and quality are good and their stuff is different in comparison to the store here in Louisiana. The online ordering process also went great. It was simple. I knew what was available and when I was gonna get the product. And everything came like I said I wanted them to. It was the way one should buy furniture.

I was looking for things online for a client and Wayfair has what I needed. I sent some links from Wayfair to my client and he picked what he liked. Ordering from them was easy for the most part, though I got millions of emails after. The stuff is made in Vietnam so it gets handled several times. However, when they delivered it from their distribution center, the contractor in Kansas city weren't up to the same standards that the whole process with Wayfair was. The people delivering it to our warehouse were not so great. One of the legs on the desk that came in was cracked but their customer service rep was able to help resolve it. They provided me with a couple of options, but I didn't respond quick enough so they're just gonna replace the product. Other than that, the people from Wayfair has been very easy to work with and their products look great.

I got Wayfair online, decided to look at some of their things, and there was a couple I liked. I got Lisa when I called the very first time I ordered a couple years ago. We developed a relationship and I've been buying from them ever since. My experience has been fabulous up until last week. I've been dealing with Lisa and she's a really, really great employee. I buy most of my stuff through her and everything is great. I highly recommend her and even gave her a review about a year and a half ago.
We had a mess up with my delivery which was not Lisa's fault but whoever was in charge of doing deliveries. They're not supposed to deliver my bedroom set until December because we're moving into a new house and no one is there yet. We haven't even closed on it. Then I got this thing last week that they're gonna deliver my furniture and Lisa had told them that it was to be delivered on Wednesday, December 14th. I hope she got it all taken cared of and I don't know where my furniture is now. That's my only complaint and everything else has been great.

I'm very unhappy! More unhappy with Wayfair/Joss & Main than the 3 bar stools I purchased. The bar stools were very hard to put together and my husband is quite handy. They are wobbly and look cheap! I called Wayfair and they told me I can ship them back at my cost. It will cost me almost as much as what the bar stools cost me to send them back- 3 large boxes @ 30lbs. Had I known the risk I was taking, I never would have ordered from them. I will sell these on my own on Craigslist. Either way, I am losing money.

Wayfair had the type and the quality of product I was looking for. Compared to other stores that I looked into, Wayfair was much better. It's a great place to shop from and they have a wide selection of products to choose from. I got a 20% discount on my first order. There was this time I ordered a table and chairs and it wasn't clear if it was a set or single. The prices were weird on the Internet so that I had to call in and order through a live rep. The rep took care of my needs and was able to answer the questions I had. The whole process wasn't difficult at all. Though, it would've been easier just going online clicking a couple of buttons and be done.
The product was great. The customer service was great. But when it comes to the delivery of the product, especially high-ticket items where you pay a few thousand dollars for it and it's not packed properly. We had several chairs that were all scratched up because they just weren't packaged properly. We had three chairs that were broken, snapped. They had to give me credit for an armchair. There were no screws and bolts to screw the base of the table onto the top part of the table. So, we had to wait for them to ship out screws and bolts and the guy had to come back out again to put the table up.
Currently, I'm looking to order some theater chairs from Wayfair and the theater chairs are running probably around $5,000. I am reluctant to order them because I don't know what condition this stuff is going to come in. So, I'm debating whether I should just go to a local store in my neighborhood and see if they do price match and see if I can order it that route, rather than going through Wayfair for it.

My sister-in-law is an interior design person and she suggested the Wayfair website. I looked at a lot of different stores that sold what I was looking for, like Target and Overstock.com, and Wayfair had very reasonable cost and excellent availability. We got $3,000 worth of things that were on sale. A few things came damaged so we needed to call customer service and that was it. They offered us either a replacement or a credit. One of the things got replaced and we got a credit for the other. And they didn't want us to send it back which we were so surprised with. They said either to donate or use it if we still can. That is excellent customer service. To pack something up that size and send it back is overwhelming. We were very satisfied. We got the refund like they said and the new product just like we asked for.
I ordered right from my phone which is easy and we ordered some of it on the computer because there was so much. But if we needed an extra table, I only need to pull out my phone and order a new one. Great products too – it had a lot of different things: we needed some rugs, tables, chairs and sofas and a lot of different kinds of things and there was a lot of variety all at one spot in Wayfair. I appreciated that! It was a flexible and accommodating experience!

We needed a Murphy bed recently for our guest room. We had a futon we had to get rid of because the dogs kept climbing on it so we decided to look for a Murphy bed and found one at Wayfair. The ordering process and delivery went fine. Delivery was as promised. The man called three times and the last time, they called 30 minutes before delivery and they were on time.
When it came, there was nothing wrong with the boxes and also no sign of damage. So we opened it and started to put it together. There are blemishes and scratches! The millings of the mortise joints for the hinges for the door were off by three-eighths of an inch. When we put the door on (following the instructions) and went to close it to see if it was okay, that's when we discovered that the mortising for the hinges was off and we damaged the inner door...not badly but it's all scratched up. So we had to re-mortise the joints to put the door on. The finish is really all over the place!
Today has not been a good day too because while putting the bed together, I injured my back - the bed was heavy. I spent a good day in bed. So by now there's not a heck of a lot that can be done. The bed is put together - we had to put it together because we're having guests arriving and we can't have them sleep on the floor! We're stuck with it and that's just the way I happen to feel - "we're stuck with it." I hate to be picky but I do think I have the right to be picky. This is an over $2,400 item. That's money! If it weren't for the finish and the problems with the mortise joints, it'd be fine. In fact, it's well sawed out and the materials are good. But it is the manufacturing process that really screwed up. We paid good money for this and having the finish screwed up all over the place doesn't make me happy.
I put up a review and also tried to make a call but I got busy signals. I think the manufacturer should be made aware because there was no damage to the packing boxes so the product came from the factory this way. The mortising was part of the manufacturing process and I'm quite sure it was done by computerized machinery, so that was off somehow. Also, the fact that the finish is bubbled and scratched all over the place means the product was shipped this way, un-inspected. Still, I would recommend Wayfair to a friend as I don't feel this is their fault but the manufacturer's. Wayfair's ordering and delivery were great but the product did not live up to what it should.

He assured he would take care of this and I should receive a email review about everything we talk about, but the only thing the email said was "it was a pleasure talking with you Mrs. ** and if you should have anymore concerns" to contact him. That bothered me. Because I wasn't getting anything in concrete assuring me when and what time to actually receive my couch. I call again. Can't get him. I get another manager. First she said he wasn't in. He left already then later said he's unavailable with other work, but she then let me know that my couch will be in my location by Thursday the 10 of November - the whole day I hear nothing from them.
I call again the following day which is now Friday the 11, of November. I speak to Jon ** a manager, he tells me he don't know why the delivery company have not contact me because he sees my order is to be ship out to me by now and he sees all the notes from other managers as well as emails trying to get this product expedited. I asked if I can have the delivery companies number to contact them myself he said he wasn't allowed to. I'm at the of canceling first thing Monday morning November 14, 2016.

When I ordered, the website was easy to navigate. I got the coffee table I ordered from Wayfair this morning. There's an added delivery tomorrow for my sectional couch. I'm wondering why the delivery for it took over 20 days when it's already shipped but overall, it was a convenient experience. I've only ever placed one order, but with multiple items. They said an item was delivered that never was so I had to call and the rep arranged for a replacement to be sent. I received an email the next day stating that the replacement item was back ordered for about 4 months so now I had to call again to now cancel the item and make sure that I was refunded appropriately.
Also after purchase, I was notified that 3 of the items were back ordered for over 6 mo so I had to cancel them. The same day after cancelling, I purchased and replaced one of the items on a separate website, but the next day Wayfair delivered the very product I had cancelled and they had just informed me was back ordered causing me then to have to cancel the order with the new company, and then call Wayfair because they sent me a product that they had refunded me for and make sure that I was charged appropriately (because I'm an honest person). They had no record of sending me the item. It was very strange, especially since the item was over $100.
Also their app kept crashing while trying to use it, shows that I cancelled items I didn't, and the website also had problems more than once. I had a return from this order and tried 3 times to print a return label from their site and each time all it gave me on the screen was a blank square. I finally had to call (AGAIN!) and have customer service email me a return label. Even just now they sent me an email asking for my review. It was a little kinder than this, but when I tried to submit it, it would pop up an error message saying the field I had just filled out was empty.
I tried 3 times using different links and it still wouldn't work. It's a great concept with a great selection of items, however after this experience I would never recommend this company to anyone. What a hassle! Customer service was very courteous and helpful, however wouldn't have been needed in this situation had Wayfair been more organized about what products they have committed to provide and have sent to their customers, provided in stock information for all products before purchasing and had an app and website that consistently worked.

I love Wayfair's products but their shipping sucks. I bought a new house and ordered a couple thousand dollars’ worth of furniture for the bedroom from Wayfair because they carry top-quality stuff and their website showed the products I was looking were in stock. Everything went well in ordering but it's twenty-nine days now and we still haven't got the items. I called Wayfair after 27 days and spoke to a lady who was very nice and helpful. She called me back that night and said that the shipping company hadn't gotten back with her.
The freight company then called me and said that they're gonna get to me on the 16th. I asked them why I was waiting 10 days when they're only two hours away and they said that that's their scheduled time. My problem is how do I even track the delivery. The items went to Maryland, Mississippi, Texas, back to Mississippi, back to Texas, then to Oklahoma City. I'm 2 hours southeast of Oklahoma City, and the items have been sitting in Oklahoma City at a dock for a week or longer.
I called the Wayfair rep back her and told her a little bit about it. She researched it, said it was not acceptable. I then told her to cancel the order, send it back and that it'll cost them freight, not me. She said I can't cancel in the middle of the freight. I said that I can protest to my credit card company in the middle of the freight. She said that I shouldn't do anything until I hear back from her. But she hasn't called me back and I haven't done anything.
I called the freight company back and asked if I can come to Oklahoma City and pick it up. They said I can and that they'll have it ready for me. They also said that I should call them 24 hours and a notice from 9:00 to 3:00 and I can pick my own stuff up. Then I got to thinking when I pick it up, get it home, take it out of the box and it's damaged, I can't send it back. So, I elected not to do that. I thought about canceling it today but I got tied up and didn't do it. I said I'd just go to Tulsa or Oklahoma City and buy it...
But it's more the freight than Wayfair. Wayfair is a great company to do business with. In fact, I've done a follow-up order of $800 or $900 worth of bar stools last week which came in today. I ordered them last Thursday and got them today. It's very good. However, they also said the bedroom furniture was in stock, and that they would ship it out the same day or next. So we should have it now, but we don't. Their shipping is gonna have to change. Seriously, it's been 29 days for bedroom furniture and I'm tired of living out of the box.

Wayfair has a lot more selections to choose from. I purchase from them primarily because I don't have to deal with obnoxious sales people. Their website is self-explanatory and very easy to navigate, and that's partly why we like it. The ordering experience was easy, too. However, we went through a very frustrating situation with them when we ordered a dining room set being sold together as a package. It was a significant purchase for us. We made this purchase because they said that delivery would happen by mid-November and we got the dining set in preparation for a Thanksgiving celebration we were having in our house for the first time since we lived in this city. Wayfair already accepted my money, I had received the chairs within a couple of days and assembled them, I had put all the boxes and shipping stuff away, and we were just waiting for the table. Everything was fine. Then all of a sudden, about two weeks ago, and at least two weeks after we ordered, I got an email saying the table was back-ordered and not in stock, and won't be here till after Thanksgiving.
I called the Customer Service and tried to get an explanation. The young lady rep told me that she was going to make a note on my record, and she suggested, "If you want to find a new table, call back and place the order, and I'll see if we can get you a discount on it." That was helpful, but my preference would have been that she go to greater lengths to try and help me solve the problem, such as by going through their catalog to figure out a comparable replacement table or by getting somebody else from another department to call us back, rather than putting the whole matter in my lap and saying, "Hey, whatever you decide, just let us know," which is tantamount to saying that we’re on our own. She was very sweet, but maybe she was new at the company and didn't know what she could do to help.
My wife and I realized that we didn't have a lot of time to deal with this matter, so we just said, "Guess we're just gonna have to accept it." My frustration was more from the perspective that I had already fully paid for our purchase and my money had been taken by Wayfair two weeks before. So, it felt almost like they were stealing -- taking our money for something that they said was available and then all of a sudden telling us two weeks later that it's not in stock. Nevertheless, the reality is that even though we were in a very frustrating situation with Wayfair, we're still considering them as an option in purchasing items for our home and looking at additional items to purchase. Then I got an email today that helped to alleviate some of our frustration. It said that the table we purchased is now back in stock and it's going to be delivered here before Thanksgiving.
Wayfair has a great platform and the potential to be absolutely outstanding, but there are a few things that they need to work on. For one thing, if an item is listed on their website as being in stock, then to be consistent that item has to be in stock in their warehouse, too. Otherwise, they need to have a note of what happens and what can be done if an item is out of stock, or some way of immediately calling customers rather than merely by email.

The main factor why I purchased from Wayfair was that I could get my order in a short amount of time. They have good pricing too and the quality is as good or even better than those of other online stores. However, I'm missing a few pieces from my last order, an outdoor sectional. I got most of the pieces but I need a few more. Customer service keeps asking me which pieces I need. It's frustrating.
It would have been good to have gotten all the pieces of my sectional at the same time. I would also have liked the warehouse guy or the delivery team to have noticed that they didn't have all the pieces of the sectional and to have reported this before I had to contact them. But, instead, I had to do all the leg work. When the delivery guys came with my purchase, I left them a note because I have other workers working in the house and I had to get someone from the airport and couldn't be present. I talked to the driver and he was good, and I told him what to do and where to put my purchase. It would have been nice if he had gotten back to me because he had my number, to say that some of my pieces are missing, and that he would contact someone about it. When I contacted the driver later on to see if he had found the missing pieces on his truck, he was helpful and gave me the number of the warehouse.
I then contacted the warehouse guys and they were likewise very helpful. They said, "Yeah, we saw that," and that they had already contacted Wayfair about it. But they didn't let me know this, and I'm the one who had to contact them. It would have been better if they were proactive in letting me know that they realized they didn't deliver all my stuff, and that they're on it. Instead, I worried that they might think they have delivered these pieces and that I got them, when actually I didn't, and how I could prove that. So right now I'm just trying to go back and forth with them trying to clarify what's missing and what they need to ship.
Nevertheless, as an interior designer, I still recommend Wayfair to people who ask me where to find things. Their website is easy to navigate for the online ordering process. I also like that they have the little suggestions posted underneath. Initially, though, when you use the search bar and type in an item that you're searching for, such as "AT sectionals" or "seating for six to ten people," not everything comes up. You have to click on an item, and then more items are suggested. But once you know how the system works, it's fun because it's like a treasure hunt. It's not like J.Crew where you type in "sweaters" and they come up with 15 pages of every single sweater they have. On the other hand, if you hadn't been to the Wayfair website before, you wouldn't know that there are more items than what are displayed on the initial pages. There are so many different products being offered, that I now want items that I didn't think of before.

I found some good deals on Wayfair's website. I had been eyeballing a specific outdoor furniture set for quite some time and it says that it would be available and when it would be delivered. It was very close to an important event that we were having so being that I liked the price and the product and it would be delivered in time for our event, I ordered it. Then, a couple of days later, I get called. It’s not coming and not available so I was really upset about that. I'm online with their rep and he said it’s on back order. But I can still go online right now to purchase the product, but the same exact thing is gonna happen to me because it’s still showing that it’s available online. So there’s a big confusion with all of that. Then dates got mixed up. I ended up getting another e-mail.
Furthermore, I had to call them then because nobody said anything about what was going on with the money - why twice the money was taken out of my account, put back in, then taken out of my account again, and put back in. It’s paid for. I don’t need a random $2,600 sitting in my account playing peek-a-boo. This is my first time ever buying anything from Wayfair. Their CS reps were polite. I feel like they put them into positions where there isn’t really much they can do for the customer anyway, so it screws them, too considering this specific distributor was only reachable via e-mail. I don’t agree with Wayfair dealing with distributors that we can’t contact. Finally, they just delivered the products today, which is a month later than I originally expected it, but at least I have it now.

Wayfair was recommended to me by my daughter who felt the price and quality were fair. As a result, I ordered a lovely curio cabinet from your company a few weeks ago. When the order was given, there was an optional additional charge of $75 for assembly. The original price included delivery. I imagined that since the cabinet was quite delicate in appearance, that this would be a wise thing to do. Well, when the cabinet arrived this morning, the carton was placed in my living room as required. The assembly operation consisted of removing the carton, which I am quite capable of doing, and placing 5 small glass shelves inside the cabinet. It seems to me that whenever furniture is purchased and delivered that the packing material is normally removed and taken away. Clearly placing small glass shelves in place is not too complicated.
So, what did I pay $75 for??? Clearly, to take off the cardboard box which is normal in any purchase. To charge $75 to place a few shelves in place is laughable. When I called customer service, they very reluctantly, after some lengthy consultation with other persons, decided to take $7.50 off the price. As a company representative, I would have been embarrassed to say that. There was also a break on a future purchase, but under the circumstances, who knows whether or not I would be amenable to more business with them.

When I originally rated this section I did give it a 3 star- but now that I have followed the return policies & procedures I am SO disappointed with the way this has been handled with Wayfair!!! We did not even have the sectional a week and we disassembled it and put it back in original box as we were told and we choose to use the email printed return tag which was $107.47. But first I had to chat with one of your reps because I never did get my printable email like I was told when I did the return steps online. My response was "Must have been a computer glitch???" But whoever was typing back & forth with me did get me my email quickly, so I could get the sectional that was packed back up in original box which when we got the delivery it had a couple of bent corners we didn't think it was a big deal the way we received our order? But we did use black tape and everything fit in. And it was not EASY to do.
Took 3 adults to make sure it was done and fit in so we would have NO problem getting our credit back. But FedEx refused to mail it in that original box? They told us we needed two boxes, that would cost us another $50.00 and get two new return labels from Wayfair which that would have been another total cost. Outrageous total cost of returning. A very unsatisfied customers, who has spent money on many other orders in the past would cost me $250.00. Half of what we paid for it. I would have returned the sectional and looked for another on your website. I wasn't unhappy with Wayfair until now!!!
So we have a sectional we are NOT AT ALL happy with or want but to return it and not even get a full refund. I mean we didn't have it for a month. It was one week and the sectional was back in the box unused. Not worth the money $546.99 - So very disappointed with this whole process. I do a lot of online shopping & this return has been HORRIBLE experience so much now that now I will not buy again from Wayfair.

I got a coupon in the mail from Wayfair and it got some good deals. It was a 10% off coupon for moving. I was familiar with the construction of the product that we bought and I thought it was a good construction for a good price. I reached out to their customer service reps to confirm the delivery dates, and they were very friendly and able to answer all my questions. However, it was hard to find the location of where to put in the promotion code for the discount. Other than that, the transaction went very smooth and easy, which is the most I could ask for. The price and the selections were the reasons we went with Wayfair. Moreover, their products were of very good quality. We just bought a house, and we're more into the modern stuff, and everything is pretty much done and ordered online with that modern contemporary stuff. I got 10% off on our order. Sometimes, they even had 70% off on some of the items. I liked how they handled my boards, so I can keep and separate these into the different rooms. That was helpful. I called the customer service rep once about a mattress we had purchased. I didn't know that they had these in separate shipments since we bought a bedroom set. But other than that, there's been no problem and it was a positive experience overall.

Nobody knew where the missing package was. This company does not care about its customers. Mismatch expectation. The worst company in the world. Never buy anything. The first thing I bought from Wayfair was a rug and I liked its color. Then recently, I bought a chandelier from them. They had the same exact product at another store here in Dallas but I could get the one on Wayfair in two days while I would have to wait for 10 days at the other store. So the availability to receive an item was cut to more than half and that was a deciding factor for why I shopped for that particular item. It was also on sale and came with free shipping. Their website was easy to navigate and I'm surprised that every time I go on it there are a million different options. Sometimes you’re looking through the website and you feel that you've seen all the options, and then pressing it in a different way gets you another pop in the option. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and I enjoyed it.

I ordered a jewelry cabinet about 3 weeks ago. First order I placed with Wayfair. I usually use Amazon but the jewelry cabinet I found was a pretty good deal on Wayfair. I received the cabinet after a week and the box it came in was battered up. The cabinet had a scratch on the front. The color was not the same as described on the site. I received no receipt in the box or via e-mail. I had no idea how to return item. I contacted Wayfair and they said they could find my order number. The customer service stated a number was on the box. I could barely see any of the numbers on the box since they were so small and scratched off. I found a number for the product and sent it to customer service with my name and address. The lady was able to find my order number but unable to do an exchange.
I then tried to process return myself online on their site but no match for the order number. I then e-mailed customer service and asked for a return label. Customer service said they could help me and said they sent me out various e-mails with return label but no label was sent and I checked even my spam over and over. Sick of waiting. Craziness and will never order from that company again.

The ordering process was very simple and I was very pleased.
I chose the in-house delivery and the two guys who came in set it up for me as they were supposed to. However, two of the doors on the china cabinet can't open and close properly. So he told me to accept the product and call Wayfair. He also assured me that they're gonna stand behind their product. I talked to their rep who was extremely nice, very pleasant and professional. During the preparation of our first child, I sought after Wayfair for a crib, as I did for all my other furniture pieces I've purchased in the past because of its promise; "...perfect product at the right price." However, this delivery lacked care preparation, and as a result, I did not receive the "perfect product," as promised. When I received the delivery, it appeared roughed on the edges during its transition to my home. After my child was born, my husband built the crib and soon after we noted that the crib had scuffs and dents on several areas of the furniture piece.
I concluded this was a result of a poorly packed product, which should have been better protected for the sole purpose of delivery so the consumer could receive damage-free furniture. Wayfair may have excellent customer service, but they are lacking attention in their preparation of delivery. Wayfair needs to give attention to the quality of their delivery package for protection during its transition to ultimately prevent damage to the items purchased from their consumers.

They delivered it and helped me shove it into my garage. Then my guys that are putting the patio in picked it up and put it in the backyard for me. So, you are expected to have the bed for 30 days in its package and then decide to return it to them without even using it so it can be eligible for a return. However, the backboard of some of the vanities was warped and bowed really bad and not secured so we secured them and tried to straighten them out as best we could. Secondly, the opening that they leave to put drain and water valves through is ridiculously small so we had to redo the plumbing twice on two of the four bathrooms. 5 months ago I purchased a 6 piece patio seating group for over $500 - This is one of the worst purchases I've ever made! Every time I look at the cushions it upsets me. The fading and uneven discoloration of these cushions is unacceptable! And I have repeatedly pleaded with Joss & Main and the manufacturer, Dwell Home, and no one has done anything about it. I bought this 5 months ago and it is ruined and an embarrassment.
In contrast, I also ordered another furniture set from Joss & Main (“7 piece Azalea Patio seating group”) at the same time as I ordered this brown Wayfair “Nala” set (now called Madison) and the cushions are absolutely perfect and haven’t discolored a bit! So what is wrong with these cushions? Are they defective or just very poor quality. Shouldn't the manufacturer be responsible for such a terrible product that costs over $500 and an unhappy customer???
Here is the last thing I wrote to Dwell Home and they didn't even have the decency to respond. "Have you forgotten what it is to have good customer service or pride in your product? What if this happened to something you purchased, what would you want the manufacturer to do? Can you, for a second, put yourself in my shoes? I purchased this set only 5 months ago! I purchase it for over $500! It is ruined because the cushion covers are very poor quality. There is no way that I can even buy replacement cushions. There is no way that you will help me at all with my purchase of your merchandise."

This seems to be a very crooked way of doing business. Further, of all the credit cards that I have, Comenity Bank is the only one that does not allow recurring payments. I have been incredibly happy with Wayfair. One of the reasons I signed up with Wayfair is because they had nice things at a reasonable price. Not everything is super cheap and I haven't bought everything super cheap. Another one of the big motivators was their financing because you can do the six months, 12 months, 18 months financing with zero percent interest. It was very attractive to me that they had the financing options because it really works well with the way my husband gets compensated.
The sofa table I was waiting from another company went out of stock and I was very disappointed. So, I looked for a different console table for a different room through Wayfair and the same table came up in the feed as available and it was $150 less. I was so blown away. This has been an interesting experience. I've learned that in shopping a little bit of patience doesn't kill you.
Wayfair just does not have the quality of rugs that others store has as well as a really nice sofa. They didn't have anything that was gonna suit my purposes. It doesn't have everything but for the most part, I've been incredibly pleased with the selection. I've been very happy with how things have been delivered to me, how quickly they've gotten here and how they've worked with me.
I have also found chandeliers on Wayfair on sale that I got them for under $200. I would never have spent the money if Wayfair didn't do what they do and how they do. That's how effective they are. You spend this kind of money, you think it's going to look like crap and it doesn't. I have been shocked at how nice they are. But they spend so much money on marketing that I have to say it is amazing to me how cheap they must get the stuff from China because they're still making that much money. What a fantastic business model.
All of the things that I desire in a company that I deal with as far as an Internet business, Wayfair has. They've just been really savvy about how they have set up their business to be successful and they've done a great job. I can't say anything bad. The only thing that annoys me is when I've been looking on Wayfair for something and I'll be reading an article a picture pops on the side of the page where they run ads, "Hey! Are you looking for a blah, blah, blah?" It's kind of annoying but at the same time, I have to chuckle because they've been so effective at using social media and the Internet for their advertising.
All in all, I just have absolutely no critical words for Wayfair. They've been great. The customer service has been fantastic. There have been a few things that I have gotten that weren't up to my standards as far as quality and Wayfair gave me no problems with returning them. Their deliveries have been on schedule. The people that have delivered the furniture have been courteous and helpful, not to mention, are they strong. And I'm getting very close to accomplishing the exact look that I can live with for a price tag that I can also live with. I'm spending 75% less than if I had gone ahead with my designer and that's a lot of money.

The return policy is pretty bad as I don't like to I have to ship the furniture by myself which would cost me around $1000.The material and mechanism would be same as shown in internet. There is no warranty for that. It fails to achieve customer trust. The warranty protection plan covers only mechanism and accidental damage. It doesn't cover the leather scratches, cracking and/or peeling of leather, splitting of bicast, bycast or bonded leather which should be your main concern when you purchase warranty protection for 5 years for leather or vinyl furniture. There is no way you get to know the material is real or fake because they are not taking the responsibility.

And for the most part, they offer good value. So, I've been happy and would definitely recommend them to a friend, but I would not recommend that they buy the sofas. I ordered two couches that I thought were substandard quality but they were not what I was expecting. They only covered the top half to save money when they were covering the cushion. The color was off and it looked cheap which was disappointing. So I ordered something else from another company that was about the same price, and it was nicer. Other than that, the other things I have were good value. Wayfair has good choices, good prices with efficient delivery.

Linkwood 54 Series Leather Ergonomic Recliner & Ottoman by Wade. Great recliners. Leather feels soft and expensive. The only problem was the delivery was to be 2 days but instead, FedEx shipped them from Jacksonville, FL to California instead of SC, making the delivery over a week long instead of the 2 days. We love the recliners! I bought 2 sets. Hubby loves them too. He is 6'2" and I'm 5'2" but we both fit perfectly in the recliners.

I was pleased with the website. I initially had a positive interaction with their reps. I had some issues with shipping. But then, after my first contact, I felt sure they would take care of things. And then, I didn't hear back and I had trouble getting in contact with somebody. It failed in the middle, but then they fixed it in the end. So I would still recommend Wayfair.

Wayfair allows for ease of shopping online. The website has great choices and good filtering. The ordering process is very pleasing. I bought chairs from them in the past and the items had no damage when they came which is different from what happened in the more recent order which was a logistical nightmare. I ordered two vanities. When they went to deliver these the first time, one was broken. So Wayfair was called and told that one got broken. I told them I understood and that I'd wait for the next one. The delivery people called and set up a time to deliver.
I waited all day. Then they called me back and said that they were having trouble and asked if they could do it at the end of the day. I told them that was fine. Then at the end of the day, they called me again and said they couldn't do it. They rescheduled a week and a half later to deliver. The items were delivered two days ago when I wasn't home so my contractors signed for them. We opened the packages today and the granite's busted on both of them. This is the second time that these have come to me broken and they cost 1,000 bucks apiece which is expensive. So I'm very unhappy. It seems the people they use for delivering large pieces are not doing a good job. Hopefully, they can resolve this.

I was told that they would research my issue and get back to me within 48 hours.
September 17 - I received an email for Cheryl ** and she states that she's a supervisor at Wayfair. She tells me that the site said it a 30 plus week order and that she needs the sink template that I sent back on June 6. Which I responded with all the paperwork every email and notification that I have received stating that I would have my vanity by the middle of August. Numerous emails back-and-forth between Cheryl I have provided nothing but empty promises from Wayfair.
Today October 17 (25 weeks later) is the third promised shipping date and I was told this morning that it would be another 4 plus weeks before I can get another bs excuse of when I won't be getting my vanity. Ordering and delivery was pretty standard, no problems there. After my order arrived I opened the box and put the paperwork that arrived to the side and began organizing the pieces. After I had sorted the pieces I reached for the paperwork that I received thinking it was the instructions, but it was the receipt. I checked the box again and looked through every piece I had assembled and still did not find the instructions. The instructions were not in the box. I connected bush furniture which according to the paperwork was the supplier, but I never received a response. So essentially I have a lot of pieces in my apartment that I am not able to put together because I didn't receive instructions and was not able to get a solution.

I was pretty disappointed with Wayfair and my order. There was something I had my eye on for a while and I finally decided to get it. I purchased it on September 20. My confirmation email told me that it would ship on the 21st and arrive on the 23rd. My bank account showed that the amount was taken out which meant everything went through well. Well, the 23rd came and went and I had not received my package. I gave it a few more days and once it got one and a half weeks past the day I ordered it, I checked on my order status.
I called Wayfair and was told that my order was on back order and was looking to be shipped out on October 15th and arrive October 19th, almost a full month after the original purchase date. I was pretty upset that I did not receive any notification that my order was back ordered and that the arrival date would be changed an entire month. It was also frustrating that the money was taken out of my account already even though I would not be receiving my order till a month later.
I still have not received an email confirming that it has shipped and have not seen my order so I cannot rate the quality of the product. My review is solely based off the customer service and what I have dealt with so far with Wayfair. This is my first purchase with them, and I was hoping it wouldn't be my last, but it just may be. I'm surprised that I was not given any discount or compensation for having to wait so long, never being notified, and still being charged well in advance of when my original email told me I would receive my order.

I recently placed an order for a few baby items with a Visa gift card I received from a friend. The order was for a crib mattress, a changing pad and a glider rocker for our nursery. I received the mattress and changing pad and after my card was charged and order confirmation was sent from Wayfair that my glider rocker was on the way, I shredded my spent Visa gift card.
My glider rocker never arrived on September 13, 2016, as stated on my shipment confirmation from Wayfair. On September 15, I contacted UPS to check on my delivery and they stated that they never received the chair from Wayfair. I then contacted Wayfair, who contacted their warehouse to check on the chair. The next day, I received an email stating the chair was out of stock and that a reorder had been placed and that I should receive the chair by October 27.
I then received a very nice followup email from customer service stating that they understood that I have a baby on the way and that if the reordered chair would be coming too late that they would be happy to help me pick out a replacement chair. Although it would be cutting it close to my delivery, I decided to wait on the reordered chair because I had spent a lot of time looking at the different options and reviews before I chose that chair. A few days later I got an email from Wayfair stating that my order was canceled because there was no longer a restock date and that they were going to refund the money to my Visa and it would take up to 3-5 business days.
This is where my problems began. I read the email as soon as it was sent and contacted them immediately to let them know that they could not refund that card as I no longer had the card or account information. I told them I would need a replacement chair or credit instead. The gentleman I spoke with said that shouldn't be a problem, but then checked and said the refund had already gone through. Wayfair said they would give me a one time credit for a new chair and I should see it in 3-5 business days on my account. Although, I was disappointed I wasn't going to receive the chair, I was pleased that they were making things right.
A week later when I did not receive a credit to use, I contacted Wayfair again and was told that because the finance department could not recover the funds (they tried recharging the Visa gift card with the info they had on file for the amount of $364 for the chair) because it was being held or blocked by the Visa company, that they would not give me a credit. I contacted Visa 3 different time with any info Wayfair could provide to me on my Visa information they had access to, but Visa had no way of being able to track the card or account. So that was it! Wayfair wiped their hands of me and the botched order and left me without a chair and out $364! I made multiple attempts to discuss with a customer service team lead other options for compensation and all I got back from them each time was, "Because we can't get our money back from the Visa, we can't do anything for you".
Wayfair took no responsibility for the following: Charging me for an item that was not available for sale. Sending me false confirmation that it had shipped with a date for me to receive it. Canceling an order and issuing a refund prior to notification to the customer. But, apparently it's my fault because I got rid of a spent gift card that I had no reason to keep in my possession.
Had Wayfair not charged me for an item they didn't have in stock, I wouldn't be out $364. Had Wayfair not already charged my card for the unavailable item and sent me shipment confirmation, I wouldn't have shredded the gift card. Had Wayfair notified me prior to the cancellation of my order and given me an option to choose another chair, as they did when it was reordered, I would have a chair for my nursery and would not be out $364. The final option customer service gave me today was selling me a chair at what cost would be to them. In my case, the chair I ordered, at cost to them would be $240. No thanks!! I will not give Wayfair any more of my money! They already cost me a gift of $364!
I cannot even state how disappointed and upset this has made me over the last several weeks. I am a very reasonable person and was very understanding and patient, even given all the problems with this order. There is not one part of this that is my fault, yet apparently the customer does not matter. Wayfair takes care of themselves, even when they are at fault. I am very close to delivery of my 4th child and the frustration, anger and hurt this has caused over the last several weeks near the end of my pregnancy is something I didn't need. I will spend my money on a rocker somewhere I can trust. This was not my first purchase with Wayfair and I had planned on making some more furniture purchase in the near future that I will be making somewhere else as well. Wayfair has lost a customer and good referral from me.

Reclining was not "motion" as it said on their site.
I did some research and the Wildon brand they show on their site does not exist. It is merely a white label name they use to, disguise the real manufacturer so, that they can justify charging double what it sells for elsewhere. I also went on the coastercompany.com website and guess what? They have the item on their site with a pretty large disclaimer in red about the color not matching the photo. Love them and they were easy to put together but I would have liked some instructions and the tool to do the work. I had to ask my son to come over with his tools to put them together. I am not handy but someone who is would probably think assembly was easy.

Also, ordering has always been fantastic. The website was hanging but I couldn't say if it’s their end or mine. Other than that, I like the way that I can order things. Additionally, during the shipment time, somebody called to check on me and let me know when the item will be delivered.

I placed an order for a desk on August 16, 2016 that was supposed to be delivered on September 1 at the very latest (with expedited shipping). I received notice on September 2 (a day AFTER the absolute last day that my order was supposed to arrive) that my shipment would be delayed until September 20...at the latest. On September 20, I received notice that it was FINALLY shipped (still would have been late). It was supposed to be shipped with next day shipping, meaning it should have arrived on September 21, a mere 1 month and 4 days after my original order.
However, on September 26, the desk was still nowhere to be found and I had to reach out to Wayfair customer service AGAIN to find out that it has been "lost in transit." The service consultant with whom I spoke yesterday has ordered me a replacement that, wait for it, should arrive on October 20. This is insanity. Not only has my item not been delivered as promised TWICE, I had to reach out to Wayfair to find out what was going on with my order each time. I'm a teacher and teaching without a desk has been nearly impossible. I'll be more than 2 months into the year before it arrives if it ends up finally coming on October 20. I'm not going to hold my breath. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Just to let you know, there was no official set of assembly instructions with this bookcase -- only an expanded diagram of the bookcase. That alone led me to study the diagram for 30 minutes or so, to see where to start. The inventory of part was also short by four (4) long bolts that I had to get at Home Depot. At the same time, there were four (4) too many of the other size. Other than that, it was acceptable. However, the overall assembly time was 2.5 hours.

After the product was ordered on August 15th, I was told to expect delivery by Sept. 1. However, it got lost and didn't arrive till Sept. 27 and I felt there was no contact from Wayfair until I tracked someone down to hunt for my furniture order. Then the local delivery company failed to contact me for delivery. I had to contact them to set up a delivery and then they told me I would need to wait for them to hire a delivery person. Then that person failed to show up for work after the delivery was scheduled. So, again, I had to contact the delivery company and inform them of the failure of the delivery. A second delivery date had to be scheduled. This was extremely inconvenient as this was a bed I had purchased as a wedding gift for my daughter.
I had prepaid for the bed to be unpacked and assembled which meant my daughter had to disassemble her existing bed. When the delivery failed to happen, she had to reassemble her bed and then again, disassemble it on the day the new bed finally arrived. I don't feel Wayfair made this an easy purchase for us! I feel that the delivery company was unprofessional and the fact that I had to keep contacting Wayfair and the local delivery company was ridiculous! You should have been more proactive about seeing that my purchase reached us in a timely and professional manner.

Very disappointed with this purchase. I was supposed to be kept apprised of when the chair was going to be available, but I canceled it instead. I'm still waiting for a manager regarding this chaos and misinformation. I have been happy with Wayfair in the past, but this purchase shows a lack of communication between Wayfair CS and their warehouse on what's in stock and not having any control of canceling orders. It took many emails, phone calls, appointments to get this done. We finally found a local carpenter to build it and it costs us an extra 500.00. It was advertised that it came with a porch that we did not receive and this took an extra three weeks to get. Now we have to have the builder come back and build the porch. We originally wanted to refuse the item but Wayfair encouraged us to keep and truth that they would work it out. We got taken to the cleaners on this one.

It was all straightened out, though. I got the order delivered a few days later. I also spoke to a supervisor and they were able to get me a credit for the inconvenience of not getting the delivery on time. The credit definitely helped.
The two other orders that I placed went very smooth. I liked the fact that the supervisor was able to accommodate the delivery so fast, and also provided additional discount. When I asked who and where it was sent to, I was told that they could not tell me "in order to protect the other person's privacy." We live on the water so it was important for me that it was heavy. Everything was delivered in perfect order and it didn’t require much assembly for us. The only issue we had was that I originally tried to fill out the credit card application so I could use the six months no interest. I called immediately when I was filling it out because it had a little lock sign where it asked for the Social Security Number and it wouldn’t let me put my Social Security Number in. I was told they could see where I had tried and they couldn’t help me. I had to just wait for it to go through and be declined and either ask for more information to get approved or declined.
I called four times. No one could help me. And so, I finally gave up. I held my order and almost cancelled it at that point and went somewhere else. But I couldn’t find what I was looking for for a better price. I was determined so I just paid for my order but I was very frustrated about the fact that no one could help me with it. We were browsing Wayfair and found a great deal on a beautiful sectional couch. We were just looking but the deal was great. So great that we decided to buy a new couch. We made an account with Wayfair and ordered the couch 8-12-16. I received an email confirming our order with a picture of our new beautiful sectional. 2 weeks later I received an email that there was a delay with our order. No picture available. Another 2 weeks later I received another email stating there was another delay with our order, still no picture available. Finally after about 5 weeks I received a small box from Wayfair. Yay. It was 1 part of the sectional.
We waited a few days before I decided to call Wayfair and ask for the reason for only getting part of the couch. Wayfair said the piece of couch we received was all we ordered. I asked why the picture on the website showed the whole sectional and they said it was due to a problem with their website and that they would be happy to refund my money. The problem is that we would like what we ordered. We wouldn't of wasted our time and definitely would not have put our older couches outside for trash. We really thought we got a good deal but now our couches got rained on and the dogs jumped all over them. What a disaster!! They offered to sell me the rest of the couch at a small discount. What a terrible deal. I have to wait for someone to pick up the piece of couch and also wait for my money back. Wayfair says that they are so sorry. My house smell like wet couch and dog. The website is fabulous and very easy to use! The products appear to be medium to high quality, although I caught myself reading reviews at the bottom of a page that did not reflect the picture of the item I was considering... strange. When checking out I noticed that the item I would like to purchase is more than double the price noted on the website. I phone the toll-free number and do not have to wait very long for customer support. The lady I am speaking with is rather curt - I think defensive after I explain the issue around the price difference. She put me on hold for about a minute, and then offered a 20% discount on the checkout price. I'm talking about $85.00 versus $197.00. She explained to me that the sale is over and there's nothing more she can do.
I then triple checked the website and the third time around, the price did change on the webpage, but they forgot to change it on the drop down menu when choosing the color. I obviously did not purchase the item as I believe they should have honored the original sale price of $85.00, which I know is done in stores when mistakes like this are made.

I went onto the Wayfair website, and decided to take a risk with ordering furniture online. I had really been struggling to find a small couch for my small apartment. What drove me to take the risk was all of the shipping and handling options available on the Wayfair website. I thought "great! I live by myself and there are all these ways I can have it delivered to me."
When I processed through the checkout, it had stated that when it arrived in my hometown they would contact me about delivery. Guess what? Wayfair is now expecting me to lift a 100 lbs couch on my own. CORRECTION! A 97.5 lb couch, because if it was 100 lbs, they would have had to offer me the delivery options to get it into my apartment and therefore cost more money to the organization. After contacting Wayfair numerous times, I am now in the process of dealing with it myself with a local moving company and UPS (who have been wonderful).
