    I order a chair in June and paid for at the time of ordering. In July 21 I was charged again for the same item. I have called customer service three times to resolve this but it is always the same answer. "We will submit this to our finance department and you will receive a refund within 3. to 5 days." Order # **. Waiting time to talk to someone is about 30 to 40 minutes.

    This is my 3rd review of experiences with Wayfair. The 1st 2 were negative. After my call to Customer Service today, I am much more impressed. I spoke with a supervisor (Jacob). He was nice, he was concerned, and put forth effort to resolve issues, that have affected me, but that could also affect other customers if it wasn't corrected. Great job Jacob!

    I had a bed picked up on Monday for return because it was the wrong item. Their return policy stated that as soon as the item was picked up, a refund would be processed within 1 business day. On Wednesday I looked on the Wayfair site at my account status. It said refund has started. I called to ask that it be completed on their end. The rep said she pushed it to completion. I hung up, but looked again at the status. This time it said that there is a credit for me that they can't deposit, and I should call.

    I called, together we learned that they were trying to refund a different amount than that amount that I paid. That was the problem. For some reason they were adding in an additional tax amount to the refund. She said she would note that I called and we discovered why the refund was not processing. She also said that it might take 7-10 days to get settled. If I had not called them, I'd be waiting patiently for the standard 3-5 days, while nothing was being done. Another issue with their customer service dept. I understand that there is a pandemic, but I feel some balls are being dropped.

    I specifically called to find out if I could use the 10% off coupon with the $40 off for getting their credit card. I was told yes! It did NOT. Now I have credit card with a misleading company. And the coupon would have been a better deal. (Spent over $500) Why lie about it? What’s the point of having customer service if they just mislead you with incorrect information?

    I went online and did a chat with Wayfair and asked about a gazebo I wanted to purchase. I was told that the item was in stock and I had a question about the warranty they could not answer. Since they could not answer the question about the warranty I told them I would call the manufacturer. They said that they could guarantee the price but not guarantee it would still be in stock when I called back. I called the manufacturer and got the warranty information and was told that Wayfair did not have any in stock.

    I called Wayfair back and clearly asked if they had any in stock and ready to ship and they said YES. I asked the question twice during that conversation and was told YES each time. I was also told the estimated shipping time was 2-3 weeks. I went back to the website today and checked the status of my order and it said the item was BACKORDERED! And the expected date of arrival is Between August 27 and September 2. I called Wayfair and was told that they do NOT have them in stock and the manufacturer says it will not even be ready to ship until September 21st! That means I will not get it until the middle of October!! And I have a company pouring the slab being made specifically for this gazebo in 4 days! And my spa will be here in 1-2 weeks!

    This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. It is very obvious many people there have no clue what they are doing. Either that or they just lie to get the sale and the customer pays the consequences. In Stock means In Stock no matter how you slice it, Not Maybe we will have in two months. I would rate this company ZERO if it were possible. Buy from Wayfair at your own risk!

    Wayfair does not care about their customer or their needs. My order was shipped incorrectly. I requested an exchange, which they said they would process, then a few days later I come to find out that they want to charge me for their error, which "delayed" they correct items from shipping. Once this issue was corrected (3 days later) they promised expedited shipping and here we are over two weeks later with no items delivered and my minor children SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR due to Wayfair's errors. I again called customer service (aka Lip Service) and again they said they corrected the issue and would expedite the shipment. Well guess what? The order still has not arrived and my children continue to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR! The fulfillment center is only located an hour (50 miles) from where I live and they keep blaming the shipping company.

    The best part of it is that I had a package, which I ordered several days later, coming for Kansas (1,600 miles away) arrive within 5 days. I also shipped an item to a friend in France (5,600 miles away) also make to its destination, while I am still waiting for a delivery 50 miles away to arrive over 2 weeks later, with my boys still sleeping on the floor, which is really sad since today is my youngest birthday and to celebrate he will have to sleep on the floor. I would not ever recommend doing business with Way-Not-Fair!!!

    If I could give Wayfair negative Stars I would. I ordered a set of lamps and did take pictures of it in screenshots. When the order arrived there was only one lamp. I called Wayfair and they indicated that I was mistaken that it was only for one lamp. I sent them screenshot of what the order was and what the description was on their website. They refused to send me the second lamp and I did get a letter telling me that I could either send it back or they would give me a small discount if I ordered another one. I shouldn't have to pay for a second lamp when I ordered a set of lamps. They have since changed the website to indicate only one lamp but I still have the screenshot. I don't want to return it. I want my second lamp.

    Recently purchased some bar stools and a large patio umbrella. Bar stools shipped extremely quickly and were at my door in 3 days. Stool quality was generally good with some screw holes slightly off, but was still able to use the original hardware and everything went together and is very solid. I'm an engineer by trade and a hobby carpenter, but I decided to go store bought for this need and don't regret it. Have received a lot of compliments.

    The patio umbrella was more complicated. Shipped quickly, but did not come with the base which was included in the product description. Made a request for missing parts on their website and got an automated reply that parts would be shipped. Didn't hear from them for a few weeks and seeing all the horror stories lately feared the worst. Sent a message to customer service and received a prompt and courteous reply with a tracking number. Got the stand a few days later. Umbrella and stand seem well made upon first inspection. This was an overall good experience. There was an issue with one of the products, but Wayfair made it right with very little effort on my part. Considering the logistics nightmare caused by COVID-19, I am more than happy with the service and company. Give them a shot.

    The bathroom vanity we ordered came in 3 separate pieces. However we ordered and received a rectangle sink but the top was cut for an oval sink. I let them know and they said a replacement part was ordered. The delivery date has passed and there have been no updates or communications from them. I am now 20 minutes into my third phone call hold time, after trying 2 other times and waiting 45 minutes and 25 minutes before giving up. Apparently they just leave you on an endless hold hoping you will give up. I’ve sent 6 emails with no response either. The award for worst customer service goes to Wayfair! Not a happy customer and will not order from them again.

    This was my first, and definitely last, experience with Wayfair. I ordered a 76" TV stand (capable of holding up to 88" TV) on 05/31/2020 for a total price of $864.00. At the time of purchase, I was given delivery expectation as: "Delivered to your area on or before June 13, 2020." The instructions stated that I would receive an email providing an exact delivery date once the piece was in my area. With this information, I proceeded with purchasing my very large television just before the expected delivery date of the TV stand. I had to place the TV on a small folding table awaiting the TV stand. On 06/18/20, I had not yet gotten an email from Wayfair so I called. I held for 1 hour and 13 minutes. I spoke with Chelsea.

    Chelsea was very nice, apologized for the inconvenience and stated she would assign to their Case Management Team and I would be contacted "in a day or two". On 06/25/20, I still had not been contacted so I called again. I held 1 hour and 23 minutes. I spoke with Kim in the Case Management Team. She was borderline nice and not-so-nice. She stated the delays were due to COVID-19, which I believe is total BS. She stated the piece had been checked into the airport but no updates since then so she would research it and get back in contact with me. On 07/13/20, my expensive TV fell off the folding table broke! I still had not been contact from anyone so I call yet again.

    I held for 38 minutes and spoke with Lisa ** in Case Management. She was very nice and apologetic and stated she would research it further and get back in contact with me. On 08/03/20, I missed a call from Wayfair (I'm working) and got message stating the piece was "lost in transit" and they can order me another one but it is out of stock until September. How does a 6 1/2 foot piece of furniture get "lost in transit"?? I feel I was extremely patient waiting over 2 months for the piece of furniture and now have a broken $900 television!!! This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable!

    As I type this review, I have been on hold already for 48 minutes waiting to speak to someone to get a refund. I have now done some research and this COVID-19 and "lost in transit" excuses seems to be common for Wayfair. COVID-19 cannot be used as an excuse anymore. They should not take orders that they cannot fulfill. Now I am out $900 for my television and have to start this whole process all over again. STAY AWAY FROM WAYFAIR!!!

    DO NOT BUY! The image and description are not accurate. It says "It's rustic-chic walnut finish", well it should say particle board with cheap paper that looks like bad wood. Anything this cheap should not cost $450. I am so disappointed!

    I ordered a dining room set in May for just over $1000 was to ship in 10 days. Received continuous emails pushing the delivery date farther out. Then the order was split to table and chairs separated. A few weeks go by turning into about 6 weeks and finally the table is delivered, delivery people state chairs will be in a few days. Well we are not at over 90 days since they took my $1000 and I still do not have chairs. Customer service on phone and in email is so typical, “We are so sorry. I can see the chairs are at the delivery site, they will be out to you shortly..." Asked to talk to supervisor in upper management, “certainly they will call in less than 3 day.” Well that was over a month ago, still NO call. We donated our old dining room set and now have a table with no chairs and my wife and I eat dinner on the couch. Words can't describe how upset I am.

    Bought three-bathroom rugs. They were not cheap... (30-40$ range each) I was initially pleased but within a month (and incidentally just after the return period expired)... the "shag" fibers began to shed (singularly and in clumps) and track throughout the house. The rugs will have noticeable "bald areas" within 6 months. I attempted to change my initial rating of very pleased to let other shoppers know I would not recommend the rugs and outline the "shedding". Customer service responded by giving me a "credit" but only for one... When I inquired about being given refund or credit for the other two the response was that they had done all they could do. And they would not tell me how to change my product review to warn other shoppers. I would not recommend Wayfair and will not shop on their site again.

    Product is missing parts. Wayfair says they will replace. Still waiting for replacement after 7 weeks and the summer is almost over. "Thanks for your patience" is not customer service. Buy elsewhere or "at your own risk".

    We placed an order on June 6th for a shed. It was shipped June 9th and was supposed to be a scheduled delivery within 2 or 3 weeks. Today is August 1st. The shed has yet to be delivered. Constant phone calls to Wayfair have been made. We were told most recently that it's on a truck with a second local delivery company. Current times are understandable with delays but does it take 2 months to ever receive an order? This is an expensive purchase and have nothing to show for it.

    I purchased a set of Rebello Sun Lounge chairs approximately 4 months ago. All summer I have been waiting for their arrival and every month I get another email telling me that they are not coming. I contacted Wayfair and they assured me they would be delivered to me by August 1st. I just received another email stating they will arrive August 29th. I do not recommend buying anything from Wayfair.

    I need help. As of lately, orders are arriving damaged. Replacement orders are not received after I’ve requested. Can’t get through to customer service due to hold times over 2 hours. I’m in limbo after orders placed. It has gotten too hard and complicated to shop at Wayfair. Easier to buy from a store.

    This has been the WORST experience purchasing an item online that I have ever had, and I will never shop through this company ever again. I ordered this item knowing that it would take 3 weeks to get here. This of course was delayed, which was an annoyance in and of itself. Then I come to find that, in the shipment which comes in two packages, only one part is delivered, and they had not even sent the second item. So now I have a mattress sitting on the floor because I still (after a month) have not gotten all the pieces for a bed.

    And on top of it, Wayfair cannot get it to me immediately and I have to wait all over again (yes another 3 weeks). So an order placed in the beginning of July won't be here until end of August...despicable! This is completely unacceptable, and I will be personally posting on every forum possible to express the sheer lack of professionalism and competence shown by your company. All I am offered is an empty apology, which does nothing to help me in this situation. No wonder you have such terrible consumer reviews.

    I wish I read these reviews before I made the mistake of choosing this company to furnish my living room. I had a bad experience trying to purchase a gift card years ago and promised I would never use them again (e-gift cards take hours and even up to a day to be delivered but there is no mention of that when you purchase, I needed a quick gift and I ended up getting a gift card from another store due to their slow delivery...and yeah slow delivery on an e-gift card makes no sense).

    The customer experience is HORRIBLE. I ordered a sectional on 7/5/2020 with an advertised delivery on or before July 23rd. No money was charged until 7/14 when the sectional supposedly shipped. Then the delivery date moved to on or before July 31st (no email I had to keep checking the status). The item has not been updated on its location since the 14th. When I checked the status today the delivery date as moved to AFTER SEPTEMBER 5th. Are you kidding me? I chose the sectional based on the delivery dates. I called into customer service as I no longer have the option to cancel the order online and I have been on hold for 18 minutes and counting. I WANT MY MONEY AND ORDER CANCELLED NOW. Other furniture companies are doing much better by their customers. DO NOT BUY FROM WAYFAIR.

    Wayfair promised for months that they would deliver a bed headboard that I ordered. They kept saying it would be delivered and then at the last minute they would email and say it was delayed. Customer service was worthless. I would asked for a new date of delivery and they would say anything to pacify me. I will NEVER order from this company again. They are dishonest and customer service is a sham. Do not be fooled. They could care less about your business. Also, Wayfair is not the manufacturer of their products. They are a umbrella company. You are better off not dealing with Wayfair and going straight to the manufacturing source.

    The moment I contacted the store online I was given the credit card with the promise to waive the interest for 6 months, then the pandemic came, I was making extra payments to catch up. I was almost done when I got charged twice!!!! With amount of 246 dollars cause the time was up for the "interest break". I find this sooo unfair.... and today I have to take from my pocket 400 dollars!!! That I never consumed on!!! NEVER EVER GET BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE!!! Wayfair will ripped you off one way or another!!! They tried first time and I ask for an explanation and they fixed it, but this time I won't get the money ever... Trust me, this true.

    I've order from Wayfair a good bit, and I've always had an excellent experience. I did, however, have an issue recently with 3 vanity lights. Customer service refunded all my money and told me to donate the lights to charity. Seriously, how often do you get this kind of treatment from a company like this. I appreciated their understanding of the situation and the way she handled this transaction. They have earned themselves a loyal customer who will never hesitate to order from them time and time again. Thank you Wayfair for treating customers the way they should be treated. It's rare to find businesses who truly care about their customers.

    I’m out of the bed. I returned because the company picked it up, but I’ve been getting the runaround about my refund taking “3-5 business days.” It’s been well over a month and NOTHING. This is the only poor experience I’ve ever had with a company. Arranged return after being on hold for 1 hour, waited a week, turns out the representative set up the return incorrectly. Arranged a new return after being on hold for 2 hours, waited a week, pickup took place—YAY.

    Wait a week, then another, then another...? Week 4, I call about the product still as “Return Started,” they say they never received it, but “processed” my refund anyway and that it would take 3-5 business days. Day 1, Day 2, up to Day 9 went by, still no refund. Called Wayfair, no answer after 1 hour. Sent ticket. Received response within 3 hours stating that the return would occur via PayPal. I DIDN'T USE PAYPAL TO MAKE THE PURCHASE. No response. Sent another ticket 3 days later, representative said she’s escalated it to the Finance department for a refund and that they received the product, and it should take 3-5 business days. Huh?! 5 business days later, still no refund. Sent a ticket, no response. Sent an email, awaiting response. This is the craziest and worst thing I’ve ever experienced with a company!

    I bought a sectional for my new home waited over 6 weeks for it and it is the worst purchase ever!!! It is so itchy I needed to go buy covers for it. It legit scratched up my skin the first day I say on it. It's so uncomfortable I reside to sit on it. Threw the boxes away or it would be out of my new home.

    I had been looking for a Table and Bedspread. So I applied for a Wayfair Credit Card. I was approved for $2600.00. I just wanted to see if I could get it. The Promotion going on was "Apply for Wayfair Credit card Receive $40.00 off first order", my order qualified. But as I was going through the purchase process, it did NOT ASK ME how I wanted to pay, but automatically put it on the Wayfair Card. So ok great. I get the $40.00 off. NOT SO. Not only did I not get it off, I paid it off immediately, and just received a bill in the mail for my purchase. RIP OFF COMPANY!!!! I want my $40.00 back as promised by the Promotion.

    This is one of three times I have used Wayfair since May. This is the second time I have had extended and unexplained delays while my item, in both cases, sat in a nearby FedEx building. In this case it has been there 9 days. Every day I get a notice that it is on a truck for delivery by the end of the day. Yet, it never left the FedEx site any of those days. When I contacted FedEx, they indicated it was the level of Home Delivery that Wayfair requested. I'm not sure where the fault lies but the level of service is completely unsatisfactory! I will never use Wayfair again nor recommend them to any friends. Before my experiences, I had several friends complain about this same thing so I know this is not an anomaly.

    As I am typing, the package arrived ($150 item). The box is so damaged it looks like it's been tossed around multiple times if not run over. It would be a surprise if the item is not damaged too. Horrible, horrible customer service. Again, if this was once but it is 2 out of 3 tries with Wayfair. I would have given them zero stars in my review but it wasn't an option. Wayfair lost a customer for life.

    I bought a barn door, which was delivered on time. The hardware has yet to arrive weeks after the promised delivery date. When I requested to return the door (eligible to return for 30 days), I was informed the company's RETURN POLICY requires me, a 60 year old woman, to get a 7ft. box that I cannot even lift to "the nearest FedEx." Seriously? I am being charged $33 dollars for the return service and I will have to pay someone to get it to FedEx. So it will cost me more than 50% of the cost of the item to return it. To add insult to injury, I tried to cancel the lost hardware order online. No cancel button, only a box requesting I communicate my issue to Wayfair. I did. No response. I have never had these return problems with OVERSTOCK or AMAZON. Both companies value their customers and have the same selection of goods. 'Nuff said...

    I ordered a shed from Wayfair back in April and still have not received it. I am currently waiting for a replacement order. My first order made it all the way to Birmingham, AL which is about an hour away from my home. It stayed there from end of May until just a couple weeks ago when I was informed by email that Wayfair has ordered me a replacement. There was no explanation to why I did not receive my order. I thought this was a good company to use, but I see now they are not. I know with going on deliveries are running a little bit slower, but I have ordered other large items from other companies and had no problems receiving those items in a timely manner. I will never again use Wayfair. I suggest people save their money and use a better company to order from, because this company will not deliver.

    I’ve ordered from Wayfair on several different occasions. From beds, to dresser sets and even pillows for my couch. On two occasions I was sent entirely different items from what I purchased and another time wrong sizes. The problem is in all actuality, the incompetence of the warehouse workers who seemingly pack whatever they want to apparently, but the bigger problem is the customer service and the so called supervisors who handle your issues as if you're the one who caused them.

    I waited over a month for a chest to be delivered and upon arrival turned out to be an entirely different style that I hadn’t ordered. I called customer service and after an hour of back and forth (and no compassion whatsoever) my only options were keep the dresser (I didn’t want and waited a month for) with a 20 percent discount OR house the dresser in my home for two weeks until THEY decided whether they wanted to come back and get it or would like me to “donate” it. They also told me they would do the “courtesy” of issuing me a refund as if that’s not what they were suppose to do.

    Today I went to buy a nightstand that was listed at 389.00 yesterday on sale with an original price of 495.00 and today the same nightstand is 639.99. When I spoke with a representative about the price increase she informed me her managers only option was to give me 10 percent off. I am completely done with wayfair, they do not value their customers and I highly recommend for people to spend their money elsewhere, with companies that value and appreciate their customers, especially during a pandemic where money is scarce as it is.

    I have been a customer of Wayfair for years. Their service has gone to trash. I tried to order something and could not sign in last night. Got an email from them offering a price this morning and when I went to buy they raised the price.     So, I ordered two chairs from Wayfair. The chairs are beautiful. However, it took them a little under a month for them to ship the chairs to me. I decided it was worth the wait. When the box arrived, the chair leg was broken off (and looked like it had been packed that way...meaning someone seemingly knowingly put the broken pieces in the box and shipped it to me. The exterior box it was shipping in was not damaged). I called customer service - they said they would have a replacement part to me in a week (supposed to arrive today). Not the best news, not the worst. Again, I decided it was worth the wait.

    I called again today and they said it wouldn't be until AUGUST 31 for the replacement part. For those keeping score at home: that is about 2 months from the date I ordered the chairs. I can't return the broken one because I have the other one set up already and want them to match so I have to wait for the other one to come in. They wouldn't give me any money back for the long wait and I had to wait an hour on hold both times for customer service to come on. THIS IS WHY JEFF BEZOS IS RICH. Amazon does it right - ships in two days (more often than not). Beautiful chairs but truly horrible customer service and horrible wait times for shipping. Boo wayfair.

    I must preface this review by saying that I have never before posted a review of a company, positive or negative. However, I feel that the complete lack of professionalism and customer service I have encountered in dealing with Wayfair has warranted a public review. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others as they contemplate giving their business to Wayfair. This was my first experience with Wayfair and will definitely be my last.

    I ordered a bedroom suite at the beginning of May, it is now July 21 and I have not received the suite in its entirety. Shipping delayed (understandable due to Covid-19), coupled with MULTIPLE ERRORS in sending faulty product and lack of response from customer service has made this an extremely time consuming and frustrating process. I have requested to have a manager contact me multiple times to resolve my issue however I still have not received any communication (first the set was sent without the trundle drawer for the storage bed, and then the headboard was not constructed properly so my husband was to to "deconstruct and re-construct if and when the parts ever arrive). I have spent 10+ hours on the phone with Wayfair trying to resolve this issue to no end. Simply put, if you do not want to waste countless hours, receive terrible customer service and sub-par product, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR. I wish I hadn't.

    Over a month ago I order a outside set for my special needs sister - it came a week late, but that was okay, what was not okay was that the glass table top was broken into tiny little pieces that the Fed Ex man left a trail of glass from the truck to the front door. After sending it back, Wayfair claimed a new table would come the following Friday - of course it never came, after calling again, now they claim it will come next Friday - I am beyond sad over the terrible service from this company!

    I had ordered from Wayfair in the past but they have gone way downhill. I ordered furniture as a gift. Not only did they not deliver as promised, but there was no communication. After multiple phone calls with hold times approaching two hours, I was promised 25 percent off and delivery the next day. Neither of these promises were fulfilled, and phone call was never recorded. I have now been told that I don't get the discout, I had another promise of next day delivery that wasn't met. I am not six weeks past the date of the original scheduled delivery with no ship date in sight. I will be avoiding this company in the future, as should you.

    On 6/21/20 I ordered a decorative accent cabinet for my living. I did not receive my cabinet until 7/18/20. During this time I emailed Wayfair twice asking when I could expect delivery. Both times I was told to expect an email from their transport company within 24 hours. I never heard a word from this company called Ace Logistics located in Oklahoma City where I live. My last email on July 17th, I asked for an immediate delivery or a full refund. The next day, the 18th, the cabinet finally arrived.

    I purchased 3 woven fiber doormats. Delivery was made within a reasonable time frame, however instead of the 3 I was billed for, the box contained one doormat. And let’s talk about the box. Some genius decided it was a good idea to cram a 2’x3’ doormat into a 12”x 15” box, requiring approximately half a roll of packing tape to seal. So the one doormat I received was destroyed, it will never lay flat. After waiting 1 hour 14 minutes on hold I was connected with a surprisingly competent customer service rep who assured me that replacements will be delivered in @ 2 weeks. The jury’s still out on that. I think they need to divert some of their advertising budget to competent material handlers, and more customer service reps.

    Horrible, glitchy website. It would take me all day to list everything wrong. Customer service is no help at all, especially when my credit from gifts purchased from my registry, as well as a $50 promotional credit, suddenly vanished from my account. Interesting that they have "no record" of the hundred of dollars of gift purchased by my friends and family that I converted to a credit since most of the items were out of stock. What a joke.

    I purchased a household item from Wayfair on 28 June and they promised to deliver it by 8 July, which is slow but acceptable given COVID-19. So far so good. I get an email on 1 July saying my item had been shipped! Great! The pending charge goes through on my credit card. By 7 July, I check the tracking number and it had still not been shipped. No Joy! I need this item. I called Wayfair to find out what's up since it was going to be late. They could not tell me when it would actually ship. Maybe I'd get it next week? OK, I need this item so I need the order cancelled so I can order it somewhere else. They said it had to be processed as a Return (even though it had not been picked up by the shipper yet). Well, that's poor inventory control but OK. Then they ship it the next day anyway (about 26 hours after I called)! What?? The item makes its way toward me for 2 days and then finally Wayfair tells the shipper to turn it around.

    For 4 days, it meanders its way back to the shipper office near the Wayfair warehouse and then proceeds to sit at the local shipper office for 2 days, gathering dust. It's been 18 days since I ordered, 9 days since I called to cancel and no refund. I was told by the Customer Service Rep that I'd get a refund in 3-5 days business days. It's been 7 business days. Who knows when they will get around to processing my "Return" (that should have been a cancel order on a failure to ship after 9 days!!) and giving me a refund. Other than to take my money, they are clearly in no rush here. They have terrible inventory control, terrible process control and unhelpful Customer Service. I won't do business with them again.

    "I am completely disgusted with Wayfair and the service I have received. First, my order placed on 5/31 was just received on 7/14. What happened to 1-3 weeks? I am bound by a payment agreement... Dont you have to keep your agreement???? Second, you owe me a credit for shipping. I paid for in home delivery. My shipment was left downstairs and outside!!!! And third, because of this my husband is now out of work after injuring his back to get a 200+ lb. sofa up the stairs. Oh and "no assembly required" my sofa was delivered in 6 pieces!     I would love to provide a reference or on my product, but delivery seems to be an impossible task for Wayfair. I’ve spent over $1,500 on outdoor furniture, only to be given many false promises for delivery. I have been very patient given delays due to Covid. I feel that waiting over two months for my purchase when the ‘customer support’ team promises dates and follow-up that never happens, beyond ridiculous.     Wayfair delivered a buffet table instead of a loveseat and now I am having an issue getting Wayfair to pick up this wrong item. Also, I was charged for the loveseat which I never received. The original deliverymen came into my apartment and brought the loveseat up the stairs. All of a sudden, the distribution center in Linden, NJ advised Wayfair that I have to leave this 189lb table outside for them to pick up. I am a middle-aged woman who cannot even move the table, never mind pick it up to bring down a flight of stairs.

    I had ordered a patio umbrella beginning of June 2020, was expected to deliver on July 7, until July 9 I still haven't receive my order yet, so I can the customer service, they were saying they ship it out on June 28 but FedEx never scan it, so told me to wait until they contact FedEx to find out what's going on, so today I call them again.     On June 24th I ordered a bed from Wayfair (this was my first mistake). Then when my bed didn't arrived as it was estimated on July 3rd, 2020 I waited because of the current environment and understand that shipping can be delayed. On Monday July 13th I contacted Wayfair and discussed my options. I could cancel the order or they could replace the item or a store credit. I said that I would consider my options but definitely didn't want the replacement as now my bed buying experience has turned into a 2 month event and I could order from Amazon at a cheaper price and have my item in 2 days so why wouldn't I choose that option.

    I called today and after waiting for 1 1/2 hrs on hold to speak to a customer service rep finally I thought we were getting somewhere. I requested a refund. I then received an email confirming my refund but now with a $50 charge as well they need to receive the item back before they can issue my refund. So I am now screwed again from Wayfair. I have cancer and need a new bed for comfort and now this situation has caused me nothing but aggravation when I should be enjoying my sleep. I now on hold again for more than an hour. Wayfair wants to keep my money but they didn't have to wait when I placed my original order. They took the payment from my VISA right away. This is the poorest customer service experience I have ever encountered.

    I purchased a mattress on Wayfair and I leased it through a leasing company that they work with. After a couple of weeks the mattress was obviously not going to work for me however was under the 100 day warranty so I was told by a customer service representative that they would process a refund and sent someone to come pick up the mattress. Well after almost three weeks of getting the runaround I have yet to receive my refund for the money I have already paid and they have not canceled the lease which means payments are still being taken out for a product I do not have. I cannot stop Payments because it will look bad on my credit and I cannot get in touch with anyone at Wayfair to fix this issue.     I placed on order on June 23 that was to ship July 6 - July 27. Called the order in as wanted to use a couple Visa Gift Cards I had and person at Wayfair told me that wouldn't be a problem. It was so now they have a hold on the Visa Gift Cards, $100 but can't get the order to reflect payment so won't ship. I explained I'm happy to give another payment type if they'd release the hold on my Gift Cards. Person I talked to said that's a different department so they suggested better for them to get the charge to go through.

    The first 4 times time I called after being on hold for up to 45 minutes I was told it would be resolved and my order would ship. On the 5th call, July 6th I was told that a case manager would call me within 2 days. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told they would call within 7 days. As of today, July 11, I have not heard from anyone. I am on hold now, my 6th call into Wayfair. Very disappointing.

    I ordered a propane fire pit and dog pool. Three days after ordering and paying (on the phone with rep) I received email that the fire pit was discontinued. The pool was supposed to arrive July 7. I received an email stating my delivery was delayed till July 10. I attempted to track the pool and saw it was delivered and signed for and when I called Wayfair they told me that they did not know what was happening that it was delivered to their depot and they were not provided an updated tracking number, that was on Monday.

    Friday, July 10, still no way to track the pool. I had to call Wayfair back and still they were not able to tell me where the pool was or give me a tracking number. They told me they would send me an update by the end of Friday or first thing Saturday (today) - still nothing from them and it is 2pm. I have now been on hold for 2 hours and 20 min. This was the first time I have done online shopping and it will be the last. More important I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH WAYFAIR AGAIN.

    My order arrived damaged. Called Wayfair, and they sent a replacement. I received email it was to be delivered yesterday, and it wasn't. The tracking info has yesterday's delivery date, but does not show that the item was delivered. No phone call, no email notification. I tried to call customer service, was on the phone for almost an hour waiting. The message indicated the remaining wait time to be around 90 minutes. There is no way to contact them by email or chat. They don't seem to have any customer service to speak of.

    I'm moving, so I need furniture. I was so excited to buy at Wayfair and ordered two items at around 12 am in the morning, however, in such excitement, I then saw a better item at around 8 am that same morning, so I called Wayfair to switch items. They didn't have the ability to switch one item for the other, so they submitted a cancelation of the item I didn't want, and I ended up buying a third item believing that my money would be refunded eventually, so no problem right? WRONG! That's when the nightmare began! Even though I canceled the item, it was STILL delivered to me! So I called them to fix the issue, and was made responsible for returning it back, which I did. In regards to the second item, I was supposed to receive it in two days, but I never did because their carrier lost it, so they ended up cancelling that item as well. Therefore, out of so much anger and disappointment, I decided to cancel the third item as well, but it was still delivered!

    After calling again for the fifth time and being on hold for over 35 minutes, they called their carrier to return the third item, but I would told that I would be responsible for paying $50 to return an item I never received in the first place. I then asked to speak with a Manager to waive the return fee, but was informed that there were no managers available, and that someone would call me within 24-48 hours to see if something could be done. It is of no wonder, that Amazon is cornering the market in regards to online delivery. They have their own carriers and they don't charge you for return items. I hope someone does call me and waives the unrealistic fees. If not, I might lose $50 dollars, but they lost over $2500 because I had a lot of furniture to buy for my new house. What a waste of my time.

    I ordered a VERY expensive sectional couch and was looking forward to received. On the day of delivery I was tracking the progress of the van. It kept saying “9 stops before you”. So I was sure I have enough time to step out for 10 mins and come back home way before they arrive because I was tracking it online. It kept saying “9 stops before you”. I stepped out for literally 10-15 mins and got a call from the delivery guys saying that they are outside. So no 30 min call ahead and they are not 9 stops before me?!!! Rushed home asking to please wait 10 min. They ok and just left. I tried calling them multiple time. They didn’t pick up the phone. Then I called Delivery Team and asked for some kind of monetary satisfaction but they kept apologizing and did not connect me to anyone who could help me with this matter.

    Also, I ordered a beautiful expensive floor lamp and was so excited to receive it and at the end they sent me a completely different item (a cheap and ugly lamp). I had to take pictures, file a complaint, wait longer to finally get the item I ordered. Then they asked to ship it back to them. They expected me to take a 50lbs huge lamp to the nearest UPS store. The bottom line, this was my first and last time I used Wayfair. Very disappointed. My advice is to never ever use this company to purchase any time of furniture.

    I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered my child a sandbox on 5/29 and it said it shipped and would be scheduled for delivery after 6/10. Never happened. I called a few days later and they told me it was lost in transit and they would issue a new item. The new item said it shipped a day later but when it also never arrived, I called and they said they had just printed labels and hadn't shipped the replacement yet. Meanwhile, it had gone out of stock. Sandbox is a hot ticket item this year but I finally found one on eBay cheaper and it got here within days. 6wks after my original order, I am waiting on my refund. Not to mention they have also raised their prices again in the item. It‘s a joke. I will never order anything from them again.

I've been cut off until this is paid. I have no order from wayfair and I'm now being asked to pay in full before I can be connected. BUT have stated that I must get in touch with Wayfair for a refund? At the moment I have just moved into a new property with my son, who has learning difficulties, he uses the internet for educational tasks, why should my son lose out and myself £160.     I ordered an outdoor pop up tent in April. It was an in stock item and would be shipped immediately. The tracking said it was shipped May 27 from the warehouse. This is July 8 and I have still not received it or can actually track it. The tracking has not been updated, nor have I been contacted about the situation.     We ordered a vent for our kitchen in plenty of time to receive it for our complete remodel. Didn't come. They said the order hadn't gone through their system. Would we like to reorder? Yes. The order screwed up again. Now we are in a pinch, time-wise. Over a total of more than 8 hours on the phone (on hold & talking), we were promised it was shipping overnight 4 different times. It never happened. We were told someone would call us back the next day. Never happened.

    After 10 days of this, someone did finally call us back to say the second order never went through either, but they would be happy to try a third time. Oh & by the way, 2 of their reps had promised that the item would be at no charge to us because of all the problems, and then during this last phone call they took that back as well, saying they would have to charge us full price after all. No thank you. After putting our kitchen reno back weeks, we finally cancelled, ordered elsewhere & promised never to order anything else from Wayfair. The rep said, "Okay." WOW! We lost several weeks of progress with nothing to show for it. Wayfair is TERRIBLE!!!

    My experience with Wayfair was horrible. If I could give a 0 rating I would. I made an order on May 19, it was shipped the next day... On June 30, after many emails and a previous phone call I was able to get a hold of someone who said it was in transit and I would get an update within 48 hours. Fast forward to July 8, still no update, so I placed another email and phone call. I was given a "I can't help you... I don't know... It says it's lost..." NO HELP! I've now asked for a FULL REFUND that could take up to a week.

    I will NEVER purchase from here and don't recommend others to either. They could care less about customer service and pretty much lied or wouldn't get back to me. I was even patient by waiting an extra 3 weeks to inquire as I know it is hard right now. Though there are challenges right now, customer service should not be something that is sacrificed. I didn't even complain that it was a 90 minute wait on the phone. I am so disappointed in Wayfair, their employees and customer service. There are far more better places to purchase things. My experience has been horrible.

    We purchased two Sunpan (brand) counter height bar stools (PO#**) from Wayfair for $1500. When you spend this amount of money on two kitchen bar stools, the expectation is that these will last for many years. Within four years of occasional use, we noticed some disintegration of the leather on both stools. It is peeling off as if it was a thin layer of painted paper, revealing the polyester fiber cushioning.

    We reached out to Wayfair and their best effort to help us was to offer us 10% off the price of the purchase of brand new stools. Alternatively, they suggested to reach out to the actual manufacturer (Sunpan). However, Wayfair is the company who sold this to us, and they are responsible for the quality of the products they carry. Lesson learned: Wayfair gladly takes your money, sells low quality products at premium prices, but will not stand by its products.

    Wayfair disappointment, I don't recommend at all. As much as I was excited about furnishing my new Apt from Wayfair as much as I have disappointed and disappointed. The photos are not real, Quality is normal, or even poor if compared to prices. I received a $ 2,350 dresser without the mirror, then they told me that the mirror (included in the picture when buying) was not included, and that was not available for sale through the site also. Of course I returned the purchase, but the biggest problem today is the seventeenth day I didn't get refund yet.

    We purchased a King size platform bed (end of March 2020). The box came damaged (April 30, 2020) so we took an inventory right away and found we were missing 1 piece. I called right away, the lady on the phone apologized and said it would only take a week or 2 for us to receive our replacement part. When the part didn't arrive I went out and ordered the replacement part again (May 16, 2020). Received an email stating the item would be here on May 21, 2020. On May 21, 2020, I received an email stating the shipment would be delayed and would now arrive July 6, 2020. I reached out to Wayfair and Angela P responded telling me to just go to the hardware store and buy the piece or wait. She wasn't very friendly or helpful... What kind of company tells you to go to the hardware store to purchase an item that was custom made to fit the bed?

    On June 27, 2020 we received another email stating our shipment would be delayed to July 9, 2020. On July 1, 2020 we received another email stating our shipment would be delayed to July 10, 2020. On July 4, 2020 we received the same email with the same date. Today (July 7, 2020) we received another email stating our shipment for the replacement piece that wasn't included in the original package would be delayed until July 16, 2020. At this rate, we may or may not get the piece for our bed! I would do negative stars, but that isn't an option. Would never purchase furniture from Wayfair!!

    On mattress number 2. First mattress gave me the "hammock effect". I am still awaiting the full return. Second mattress has been almost 2 weeks hasn't shipped at all. Called twice about it and all they gave me was a promo code. I am still awaiting shipment. Customer service can't push the item, tells me it's not on the truck, and to wait a few more days. It takes 3 days to get anywhere in America. Item is either on back order or the company is soooo disorganized they can't complete orders on time. This is probably one of the last times I order from them. Overstock shipped me a chair in 4 days but this is going on 2 weeks. I'll take my business elsewhere and I don't recommend.

    3 days after I placed my order, Wayfair sent an email stating that there was an error and there were no more products in stock. That is absolutely false, the website said there were still items in stock and I already received 2 confirmation emails of my order... Why would they email a confirmation with an arrival date, and not follow through on the order. The bed was on "sale" and won't be in stock for another 3 months. So even if I did wait the three months, the price may be higher. Also all the other beds in the same price range are out of stock as well, I guess due to this COVID situation. Other stores are now out of stock of the beds I wanted to get and I could've bought them within those 3 days, had I known I wouldn't be able to get that bed. Just horrible experience all around, and a generic email. No regard for their customers. So upset. Never shopping there again.

    Boy do we wish we had read the reviews on here before buying from Wayfair! Our experience was very similar to around 80% of the reviews on here; so the problem there is systemic. They refuse to address it. We ordered from Wayfair on June 24th the following items: 1 king size foam bed $549, 1 king size platform bed $617, 1 mattress cool cover $60, 1 set of nightstand tables $245, 1 set of end tables $260. The items started getting delivered almost immediately; that is until the bed, which ships in two boxes weighing a total of 150+ pounds, gets delivered BUT only one box.

    This is when the ordeal begins. We get one box delivered (the platform) but are missing the headboard. Oddly enough as soon as it is delivered I get an email from wayfair saying that the bed shipment completes my order. Naturally I called them right away on June 30th and, after waiting on hold for close to an hour I get a real nice lady on the phone That tells me that it appears that one of the boxes was sent to another warehouse but that these things usually fix themselves and to just give it a couple of days. She also opened a FedEx trace case for them to find the box.

    On July 2nd I called FedEx myself and they initiated a trace (apparently Wayfair never did). Today, July 6, I called FedEx to find out where the box is and they basically told me to ask Wayfair to send me a new headboard. So I called Wayfair and they offered me a “replacement” headboard but it will not ship until at least (this was estimated) July 16 and we would not be delivered until at least the 21st July. I asked them, how can you send me the incomplete bed in less than a week but the replacement takes 20 days to get here? The manager’s answer? They are backed up in the warehouse!

    Please don’t be fooled by the shiny website, it’s just a front to a poorly run operation in which many many customers suffer the exact same problems! Just read all the reviews and observe the pattern: everything will be good until there is a problem with a shipment. I do not recommend Wayfair to anyone! Shop at your own risk. Good luck.

    I purchased my entire outdoor furniture from Wayfair in May and although it was a little bit late, I couldn't be happier with the products and service. The customer service was very understanding and explained that the COVID has resulted in tremendous backup in deliveries as understandable. They compensated me for the delay and and I did receive my products for which I am very happy with! I have since ordered more home furniture and have received them on time without an issue.

    I am very upset as a first time user of this app. I’ve heard great things about them, so I had been using them to shop for a console table. Well finally last Friday I purchased one. After reviewing my order moments after, I realized I had purchased the wrong size, and immediately cancelled the order. For 24hrs, it said “cancellation pending.” So on Saturday I called and spoke to a customer service representative and she told me that cancellations are approved on business days. So now that it was the weekend, I would have to wait for Monday or Tuesday for cancellation approval and then another 3 days for my refund so I can purchase the one I actually want.

    Well it’s Monday morning, and so first thing this morning I received an email that it was already been sent to me. Clearly, they do not take their cancellations seriously, because my case would have been the easiest cancellation they could have ever possibly received, being it was same-day for a product of just a different size. But they ignored my request all weekend and instead of dealing with my issue sent it anyways first thing Monday morning. Now I will have to review their shipping policies and I’m sure I will have to spend money to send it back to them. I’m very disappointed in their way of forcing customers into sales and using a cold shoulder method to resolve their customer issues.

    We ordered a $200 plus metal box for our pool supplies which arrived damaged, after trying to contact them for over a month with no response we ended up putting it together and using it even though it's all dented. Now after just 2 weeks of using it the weld for one of the shocks broke and so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the other does and the top won't stay open. Just wanted them to get back with me so we could resolve this... instead we will never be ordering from them again and will tell others about the poor customer service.

    I ordered this cool accent table to be used as a night stand in my new bedroom. I ordered it from AllModern, who is apparently hooked up with Wayfair. The "concrete" table arrived damaged on the top and cracked. I contacted Wayfair and was promptly issued a refund, but was told not to send it back, to put it in a land fill! This is why I won't deal with them again. So now it's my issue to haul a thirty seven lb. item in its box to a land fill? This is a terrible waste in my opinion. I'm going to try and fix this as best as I can. But will not deal with them in the future.

    We purchased a sofa from Wayfair that arrived on June 18. We then spent $200 to have put together, only to discover that it was missing parts. We called Wayfair and we were told that the parts would get shipped out in a few days on June 22. We were fine with that. We gave away our old furniture as we waited to receive the parts. They never came. I called again and I was told there was a delay and that the parts would get shipped out in a week, but that I would have them by July 2--- before the holiday weekend. On July 3, I called again and I was told there was yet another delay, this time until August 21! Apparently, the parts they would have sent over would have come from another sofa.... and they preferred to sell the sofa to someone else rather than rectify the situation with us. I am writing this as I have been waiting on hold for over a half hour to speak with a manager. Wayfair just lost a good, long time client.

    Got phone call that our delivery was due in fifteen minutes on June 3rd. Driver never showed up and then they told us order was lost. We had to contact them repeatedly since they never followed up and they reordered piece. They dropped it off and upon opening it found multiple warped hinges and the doors barely shut. Had to get replacement hinges sent and install them ourselves. Got 20 percent discount for all the trouble but wish we never had dealt with them in the first place.

    I never purchased anything before from Wayfair. I was shopping for an electric grill in May and couldn’t find one online (except on Wayfair) so I decided to give it a try ($200) purchase. Everything was smooth and got my grill on time. I used it three times ONLY (Char Broil) and on the fourth time (a month from purchase) the heating element sparked and exploded. I got electrocuted while grilling a steak!!! I’ve been sending emails and calling Wayfair for the past four days without any response. Save yourselves the trouble and shop somewhere else.

    Ordered an $800 patio umbrella. Wait time was three weeks (they used the Covid19 excuse). Tracking was a joke. Finally got a text from JW logistics (I'm not sure they are a real co.). They said I would get my delivery the next day between 2-6pm with a phone call 1/2hour before they arrive. No call, no delivery. Nobody answers their phone and no email. I tried texting back but no response. Filed a complaint at Wayfair. All they said was I would get a response in 72 hrs. This is a joke. I will never purchase from Wayfair again.

    Unbelievably terrible customer service!! Purchased this and didn't like its flimsy base so called 8-9 times to set up return because online return function wasn't working. So I disputed charge with my credit card to try to get something to happen to help! Nothing! Now it says on my order page that the return period has expired. I am now on hold AGAIN for 65 minutes and still holding to get service!! I will not purchase from Wayfair again.

    Searched forever to find the outdoor furniture I wanted. Finally ordered $1350 of furniture, including a matching chaise and ottoman. Used the coupon code you get when you sign up for emails. Waited in anticipation for a week. Then I got an email that the chaise is discontinued. Obviously, I had to cancel the matching ottoman as well - thank goodness it hadn't shipped yet, even though the ETA was in a few days. I wrote to them asking whether the chaise is discontinued or (as it says on the website) it will be back in a few months, because that will impact what I do next. I also asked whether I can get my discount code back, since they canceled the main item I used it on. No response a week later. Also, separately ordered a rug and in the next few days, it goes down in price by like 30%, which was annoying.

    I ordered a sectional couch on June 2nd, 2020. I received an update on June 4th, 2020 that the package was shipped and to be scheduled for delivery after June 19, 2020. I did not receive any update from Wayfair regarding the delivery process. I called Wayfair on June 25th, 2020 and the representative said that the couch was lost. LOST! I can understand if you lost AirPods or car keys, but a sectional couch?! The representative stated “I’m glad that you called because you would have never received your couch.” So, for a month, I’ve been waiting in vain for a sectional couch. This company is beyond unorganized and the shipping updates lack detailed responses. I will never order from this company again and I warn that you should not either. If you do, God bless.

    Wayfair doesn't charge you for your items until they are delivered, and they don't inform you of this fact. It made budgeting impossible and cleared out my bank account. It is impossible to contact them other than by phone, and when you call them the wait time is upwards of an hour. I waited for an hour and 35 minutes to speak with a representative, and when they did connect with me, they told me they could fix my problem. A couple days later, I was dealing with the problem they said they fixed.

    It is also very difficult to cancel your items. They require a review board. I no longer need the towels I ordered, so I tried to cancel. It took about 2 or 3 business days to review my cancellation and by that point they had already shipped my item so I was unable to get a refund. When I returned it, they charged me for the shipping label and lost a large chunk of my original money spent. I am so filled with frustration by the company and I am sure I will never shop there again.

    I would give 0 stars if it is possible. I had my share of incidents receiving low quality crap from Wayfair. This time I ordered a chair on 6/27 and canceled order after few hours. I received an email saying pending cancellation. On 6/29 after two days I’m getting an email saying your order shipped. I called customer service and was holding for 1hr and 3min. Nobody answered.     When I purchased a full sized coral duvet and pillow sham set for my daughter’s room from Wayfair, I did see other reviews indicating that the sets were slightly lighter than the colors pictured. However, her bedding was not coral at all...it was hot pink. Then, after receiving our bedding set that looked nothing like the image, they did accept my return submission...yet I have to pay for the shipping, again!!!! I paid to ship it to my house and then have to pay again to ship it back because their product was nothing like it appeared in the image! Horrible customer service, that is the last time I will buy anything from Wayfair!!

    They said lawn chairs available within a week then cancelled the order without my knowledge. On a clock they delayed the order twice and delivery was open ended. Cust. service takes over 30 min. They represent an inventory that is not there. Their customer service is subpar. Buyer Beware.

    Purchased a chair that was not cheap and it came in 2 days! BUT, it came without casters, the pedestal, or ANY hardware to assemble it. I asked for help and all they will do is send all the missing parts but it will take 10 days! I get junk in 2 days but the parts take 10 days. I have written and talked to Customer Service and no one will make it faster. I can buy another chair somewhere else and have it in 2 days also, cheaper. Wait times in phone service takes 30 minutes or longer. The box was taped up nice and neat, which means someone did that without checking the parts? Quality control is terrible. They could overnight the parts or even send another chair, but NO they make me wait. Do not buy here!

    I purchased a bed and did not receive any valid tracking information. I logged into the Wayfair app for account info which only confirmed that the item had been shipped. The tracking number was useless since it would give me a delivery date that kept changing weekly. I decided to call customer service after 3 weeks with no updates. I waited on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes, before hanging up in frustration. Over a month later I am still waiting to receive my shipment. I understand that these are difficult times, however if the the company were more honest about their EXTREME shipping delays before I purchased maybe I would not be so frustrated. I suggest they spend less money on advertising their company, and more on improving their customer service. I recommend you purchase elsewhere.

    Wish I read the other 1 start reviews because this has been a complete nightmare from the moment I received the box my excitement went quickly to frustration. Manufacturers holes were predrilled in the wrong spots so drawers don't close right. Couldn't put shelves together because of missing dowels to hold boards up. Missing a board and then for a bonus they added an extra board that isn't needed, for keepsake I guess?!

    Before realizing it was impossible to put together we tried Amazon and drove to Home Depot to buy dowels but they didn't carry that size. We bought a metal pole and hand sawed to remedy the dowel issue to come to find out we were missing a board. Called them on hold almost TWO hours to be told it would take 21 days to ship so a month before we get the missing pieces, meanwhile everything is all over the front room floor. Okay we'll wait for pieces then putting the rods on that the drawers go on... to realize the Manufacturers didn't drill holes in right spot because doesn't close right.

    Called them again and basically the guy on the phone told me that I should have looked over all of the pieces to put it together before starting as if it was my fault I started putting it together before realizing that his company send me a defect. Unbelievable! We decided to return and get a refund because enough is enough, right? Called, spoke to a nice lady she processed a refund and said to expect refunds on a certain date. Problem is they never refunded me.

    A week after I was supposed to be refunded I attempted to call. It took several days and attempts to finally get a person that claimed there was an "issue" refunding my card and that she'd request the finance team via email and that'd take a week or she could request a check which would take at least 2 weeks to process and another week to get to me. Are you kidding me?! She refused to contact a supervisor on the call and told me that'd take a week also. I'm sooooo irritated that these con artist are keeping my money after sending my a reject wine rack that cost almost $300!! I will never do business with this company ever again and I think the 1.75 star status reflects their business practice and lack of customer service and integrity with business practices.

    Placed an order May 15 with delivery estimated June 1. Item "in stock." Credit card charged. No word on shipping. Credit card refunded. Then credit card charged again June 15. Shipping status still says June 1. Have tried to call twice with no response having waited over an hour. No idea if item will be shipped this year or ever. There seems to be no way to contact anyone for a verbal check on the status of this specific order.

    I don't like charges to my credit card without some notification of shipping. I don't understand how the pandemic is affecting consumer service. A simple email explaining the situation specific to my order would be appreciated. The phone message while on hold says there are shipping delays, but that is too general. Why charge my card without an updated shipping status? Not planning on purchasing from Wayfair again due to lack of communication. The price difference between Wayfair and another company did not make the long wait worth it, nor worth my business in the future.

    I have ordered several items from Wayfair in the last few years from area rugs, to sink faucets to large furniture pieces and I have yet to be disappointed. The quality of every product has been exactly as described, shipping is insanely fast (even now during the Coronavirus pandemic), and I have yet to be disappointed. Even when an item arrived with a broken part, it was so easy to report the item as broken and request a new part which arrived in less than a week. I will continue to shop with Wayfair as much as possible. They are above and beyond many of their competitors.

    I ordered a dining set from Wayfair and they sent me a shipping confirmation for the table that had a fake (none working) tracking number which made me look into the item in my Wayfair account, the message for the table showed the Item as "out of stock and unable to tell when the table would ship" however Wayfair still shipped the chairs and when I tried to call their customer service three separate times with the intention to request the order to be filled when all item were in stock, I ended up sitting on hold for a total of 4hr and never reached Wayfair customer service. As a result I decline the chairs delivery through FedEx BUT Wayfair reply in my account was to change the status of my WHOLE ORDER (including the table that NEVER shipped) as delivered. I was forced to open a case with my bank... SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TROUBLE AND AVOID THIS COMPANY.

    My orders shipping date changed three times. There were a couple times when I tried to call them and was on hold both times for over an hour and still no one picked. They told me the reason the shipping date changed was due to Fed Ex. I found the best way to get ahold of them was email them. I talked to at least 7 different people giving different explanations on why my order hasn't shipped. Unethical company, not being truthful and setting up false expectations. Will never purchase anything through them again!!!

    Placed an order with Wayfair on 18 May for a Park Avenue 6 Drawer Double Dresser. Dresser $383.11 plus $9.99 for delivery to the condo unit. Delivery was scheduled for 10 June 2020 between the hours of 7-11 am. I received an email confirmation for delivery to include a message day of delivery that I was number 9 on the delivery schedule for that day. Approximately 9:45 day of delivery I received a call my item was not on the truck and it could not be found in the warehouse. The warehouse had to search for my item and that would take 2-5 days. After six calls to Wayfair about my refund, I am told today that another ticket would have to be submitted to the accounting office and unfortunately for me, that is all customer service can do for me. Contacted Better Business Bureau to assist in getting my refund of $393.10. Eve

    I just saw a nice 3 pc outdoor couch set for $303.99. When I added it to my cart the price jumped to $649. After holding for an hour they tell me it’s for the black set. Spoke to Amy the manager and she said there’s nothing she can do and they are out of stock on the black one. Nowhere does it specify that different colors are different prices. Bad business Wayfair!

    I am a general contractor and have used Wayfair for years. I understand the challenges faces by them and others during this time of the pandemic. My business has also suffered but I have remained customer focused. Wayfair has not. I have spend hours on the phone waiting to get through to customer service only to be hung up on. Emails, direct messages on twitter and promises of call backs from a supervisor have all failed. NO callback as promised and no answer. The vanity is 2 weeks late shipping. The delivery was scheduled for Thursday and they blew me off. If there was a 0 rating, it would be too high. I will let all my customers know to stay clear of Wayfair.

    In April 2020 we decided to purchase a crib set for our daughter due this month in June, we received the purchase on April 29, my husband began putting the set together – so far so good, when he got to the dresser he noticed a damaged/defective area on the side panel. This stopped the dresser drawers from completely opening and closing correctly. I immediately contacted Wayfair to let them know of our dilemma. This was also on April 29. Spoke with a nice young lady that said we should receive a replacement part soon. I thought great, after waiting 5 days and no shipping information sent to me I decided to call back. This time the information I received was, "We’re truly sorry. Let us get that part out to you today. We will call the warehouse and see if the product can be shipped today," we received a FedEx shipping this time. Again after 2-3 days I waited for the shipping to update nothing happened.

    I called back and might I add waiting on hold for 2hrs plus sometimes for someone this time to tell me the product is out of stock, I told the lady that I was soon to have my child and this isn’t ok. I just received a email stating the product was shipping now, the product is out of stock. Doesn’t make sense. After that she told me she was escalating the situation and within 24hrs I will have a update. We never received the replacement part on June 10. I finally spoke with a manager. She issued our refund, told us 3-5 business days, now today is June 19th. We have yet to receive our refund because as the manager states they are having technical difficulties in their financial department. We will never order anything from Wayfair again or anything linked to them. I will not be able to finish my daughter's nursery because of their negligence.

    I ordered a bed frame from Wayfair. They instead sent me a different bed frame than the one I ordered, from a brand that I know to be inferior. This same item they sent me is sold for $100 cheaper on Walmart, so if I wanted this item I would have just ordered through them instead of Wayfair. When I attempted to use the 'Return' feature on their website, they wanted to charge me $62 for a return shipping label, even though this issue is entirely their fault. I have a feeling this company runs on a bait and switch model, and this is probably how they turn a profit. I will not be using this company again. I should have stuck with the company's I knew.

    I ordered this mirror which cost almost $300 for our bathroom being remodeled. Looked into Wayfair website for update on delivery and said nothing about being delayed. Finally, the day of the scheduled delivery came and nothing. Found out via Fed-Ex website that it's been damaged. Called Wayfair and on the phone waiting for almost an hour as I have no way of getting resolution via online. When I finally talked to someone, they refused to upgrade the shipment of the replacement citing that they already lost money for the damage and the best they can do is send me a replacement, which I already paid for! The best thing they can do?

    Paid my balance in full beginning of May. I closed my Account a week later. I received an invoice about a week later for $45 in finance charges. When I called them later that month I was on hold for 45 minutes trying to talk with someone. Guess they were busy with other customers, so I hung up. I received another invoice now with a late charge on it from the May invoice. I just called again, and got a hold of someone after 20 minutes and asked what the May invoice was. It ended up being the final finance charges from April. I explained that it would have been nice if the rep had let me know when I paid and closed my account that they let me know that I would be getting a final bill. They WOULD NOT waive the late fee from this last invoice from June.

    I work in billing, I understand how this works. I explained that I understood the finance charge, but that some heads up would have also been nice, along with some understanding of the situation. I told her that a $45 late charge not being waived is going to lose a customer, which is unfortunate, since I do like the Wayfair furniture. She did not care. So I paid and will never use them again.

    It's understandable when a customer makes a mistake in placing an order, to make them responsible for the disposal/return shipping. However, I ordered a single item, which came in two boxes. The "sectional" part of the sectional sofa was delivered TWICE. The main portion of the sofa was nowhere to be found and I had no way of knowing until it was too late. They are in the process of shipping me the correct piece, which is apparently delayed. So I was left with half of my couch, an extra half that I did not need and they are leaving me to haul/dispose of the excess piece out of pocket. I will never be doing business with Wayfair again. Overstock has exponentially better customer service.

    I ordered the 3 piece coffee table set which included Coffee table, end table and console table and I only received the coffee table. I emailed them 2 times and never got a reply. I even sent them screen shots of the confirmation I received when I ordered. So I paid for 3 items and only received one. Waste of time and time money. Will never be ordering from them again!! False advertising since they advertise 3 items and only send 1. Save time and money and go somewhere else to order!

    Do not fall for all the tv advertising that Wayfair does!!! They are a ripoff. I ordered a couch and they had the order wrong from the start. I tried to cancel in plenty of time and they are refusing and if delivered will charge me 78.00 for return shipping it back!!! They had the item charged twice on the credit card -- I received emails they canceled -- and now emails they have shipped!!! The wait time is 60 minutes to talk to anyone!! DO NOT ORDER!! Turn the tv to another station when they advertise.

    I have ordered a bed frame from Wayfair on the 17th of May with a promised delivery date of between 29 May and 4 June 2020. The bed frame minus the slats were eventually delivered on the 12 of June 2020. The slats apparently went "missing" during shipment, and a condescending customer service agent flatly told me that they will have to order it again and I have to wait four or more weeks again. Got hold of another customer service agent and I was rudely told the company line that I just have to wait. Since then I can't get hold of Wayfair to understand what's going on, and based on their website the slats still haven't been shipped (at the time of writing). This was my first experience with Wayfair, and it's been distinctly unpleasant to say the least.

    I am beyond disappointed in my shopping experience with Wayfair. We placed an enormous, very expensive order with this company waaaay back on May 8 to help furnish our brand new home. They have been shipping the order piecemeal, one item here, one item there, for over a month now, and we have patiently waited without so much as a peep, understanding the world has been drastically changed as a result of COVID. In the meantime, Wayfair has consistently charged, double charged, then refunded, then charged again, each time they ship an item.

    It is incredibly frustrating and what I consider extremely poor practice to be this disorganized as a company, repeatedly charging your customer only to refund, then charge them again days later. Either ship my things if you have them in stock, or cancel and refund. The piece de resistance for the entire debacle was when a chair we had been expecting delivery on tomorrow (6/16) is somehow now magically “backordered,” and according to Wayfair, will now be “delayed,” apparently until mid-July- over two months after we’d ordered. The interesting part here is, this “75% off” sale Wayfair is currently advertising has knocked about $100 off said chair.

    When we attempted to rectify this frustrating scenario by contacting their joke of a customer service department, this incredibly unprofessional hack company held firm in their resolve to keep us unhappy and unsatisfied, refusing to lower their price, and positively nonplussed about the absurd delay. If this is how your company does business, we have absolutely no intention to ever shop with your company again, and rest assured, we will inform friends, family, and anyone who will listen to avoid you like the plague. As other reviewers below have stated, “Caveat Emptor.”

    As a first time customer I have not even received my order, yet I am extremely unhappy. While the overall cost of the product is not extreme, between the time I ordered it and I received the shipping confirmation the price had dropped by 15%. I had to wait over an hour and a half on hold, just to tell me they no longer can do price matching or price adjustments. Order another and return the first to save 20 dollars?     I was on hold for almost two hours. Then I finally got on the phone and they disconnected my call. Now I'm on hold again. I ordered a bed that said there was on left on stock; it got canceled and I ordered it again. Now it got canceled. They said it was because it was told to them that it was no longer available. But when I look back on the site I see it says "one left in stock". I understand due to COVID there may be problems but this is twice this has happened. Very unreliable on their part. COVID does not affect your ability to count how many things are in stock; especially for the price I paid.

    I ordered a patio set and paid for assembly. The handyman assembled the furniture and it was not removed from the box prior to that. The wicker-rattan is broken in several places and the overall quality of the set is poor. Very small and the cushions are very thin and uncomfortable. I am returning the item, but I have to disassemble (after paying $200 to assemble and I have to pay $50 return shipping). So I lost $250 on a damaged low quality patio set. First and LAST time I will ever do business with Wayfair.

    I ordered a sofa and ottoman on April 12. Description stated delivery estimate as 3-4 wks. Ottoman was delivered on May 7. According to Wayfair site my sofa was delivered on same day. I waited 48 hrs before calling in case it showed up, it didn't. I told service rep that my account page stated sofa as having been delivered when in fact it hadn't. I was told that "Delivered" meant that it was at the expediting company. I called the expediting company and left a message. They didnt return my call. Called again after 2 days. They had no sofa. Called Wayfair. Was told sofa was lost.

    Re-ordered sofa on May 5. Received a text from Wayfair May 12 saying sofa had shipped. ETA May 22, then May 26. Called Wayfair June 2 to ask where my sofa was. Service rep had no clue, said a manager would call me back June 3, nope. Called Wayfair June 4. Was told expediter just received it, doubtful. It left Illinois for Michigan on May 18. Apparently sat at Consolidation Co until I called to ask where it was on June 1. Never again Wayfair. An apology would've been nice.

    I ordered a bed frame on June 5th, on June 8th I got an email saying it had shipped and would be to me by June 12th. My credit card was charged, and I waited. On June 12th I checked and FedEx said only the labels were created, nothing had actually been given to them. I called once on the 12th and waited on hold for an hour before I had to hang up. Called later that day and waited 30min before I had to go. Here I am calling for a third time and have waited an hour so far. I don't understand how you can print a label for something and not have anyone be able to put the product on the FedEx truck... FedEx is ready and waiting, they just won't release my purchase and with the hold times I can only assume they let go the majority of their customer support staff. I just want my bed frame that I paid for. Wayfair will never again see business from me nor anyone that will listen to me.

    I understand that these are difficult times and that things will take longer to get to me. Really I do. But we have been at this now for 4 months and Wayfair has kept their head in the sand. They would prefer not to tell people that they are understaffed and can't take calls, or that they have no way of getting a supplier product to your door. They are however happy to take your money, promise you the moon and then leave you hanging. This is the third item I have ordered with Wayfair and each one had its own issues - but they all came back to customer service and parcel tracking. I order one product that online gave a delivery date of 4 days out - after purchasing the item, the confirmation email that followed put it 4 weeks out for delivery. I had other items that had to go into the space - so called to cancel. "Sorry. No cancellations once it has shipped." But it hasn't shipped? "Sorry you will have to return it."

    So I face the cost of return and loss on exchange rate and tie up my credit for 8 weeks (refund doesn't come until they get the product back). Item actually showed up in 4 days, but I went out to buy another product at Lowes in the interim because I couldn't wait 4 weeks. If their logistics and tracking wasn't so poor - this would not have been a problem.

    Second item. Again order with delivery date, - changed the delivery date after purchase. Been down this road, so I will wait and see what happens. Customer service non-existent post COVID - hours on the phone (hire some people please - there are people out of work and your are an essential service and making gobs of money). Arrived eventually, but slightly late.

    Today - last order for Wayfair. Shipment ordered, shows up as on time (maybe a couple of days late) in they system. Product is 8 hours away. Then all updates to the shipment stop online. Last update to the shipment online was 10 days ago, still shows as scheduled for delivery 3 days ago. No updates - no idea where the package is, can't get through to Wayfair without a 60 minute or more wait on hold and the computer girl still keeps telling me to check online or check the mobile app. Which would be fine if they actually update the website. Goodbye Wayfair, your free shipping is not free. It comes with great cost - I will search out my own furniture locally from now on.

    This has been the worst consumer service I have ever experienced. Their tagline: "Spend less, get Way more" is a lie and I can prove it. The sofa I purchased that, according to them is an example of them "re-branding" is actually a sofa that they purchase from Ashley Furniture and re-market at inflated prices. My proof? There is a sticker on the piece noting it's an Ashley product with their Model # clearly shown. It has taken over 6 months to get their Customer Advocacy Dept. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH Customer Service. This as a result of having to contact the Executive Offices in Boston to resolve this issue! I'm still awaiting a refund check!!! Tip for consumers: Don't go there! Shop anywhere BUT Wayfair.

    This company's shipping and billing is one of the most incompetent departments of all time. I ordered a bunk bed along with a desk, bookcase, dresser, and desk for my children. I received the dresser and bookcase a week later. I also received an email that my bunk bed would be shipped and delivered within 2 weeks but the DAY OF I receive a call from Wayfair to tell me that they need to cancel the bunk bed because they are back ordered on the stairs/rails for the bunk bed. They start the refund process but they still withdraw funds from my account the very next day for the bookcase, dresser AND the unshipped/undelivered/CANCELLED bunk bed.

    I call to report it and they apologize then resubmit and tell me that it takes 3-5 business days before I receive my refund...I'm still waiting. In that same phone call, the receptionist told me bookcase would ship soon and I would be charged for that item on JUNE 15TH "as they only bill when items ship." I notice it is actually charged TODAY BEFORE SHIPPING. This company lacks transparency, competency, and professionalism. I'm so glad furniture stores are open to the public now.

    Please read my review and think many times before you place an order. I've been dealing with Wayfair.com one year and since the day one it's nothing but headaches. Just in one year I had all the problems customer can have. Absolutely impossible to cancel an order, even if you try to do few minutes after the order was place. Takes forever. And even if you are lucky enough and your order was finely cancelled, there is no guarantee it won't be sent to you. Terrible mess within the company. Hours waiting on the phone and days for responses to your messages. And finally, 05/07/20 I canceled 3 orders. But Wayfair didn't credit my credit account for over one month. It took me three days this week to get a response regarding this problem. Delivery takes forever. And I said pure nightmare. Very agonizing, very frustrating experience.

    The mattress I ordered from here is horrible, sinks in and the customer service is horrible. Don’t ever order from here unless you want back pain.     On April 21/20 I ordered Bournemouth 31.1 armchair, waited for delivery from FedEx, delivered wrong item, FedEx said to call Wayfair. They did not send the armchair. They sent me LOKATSE ottoman. Called them. Explained I received wrong item. They said they would reimburse me, and they did, and told me that armchair sold out till August. I told them I shouldn’t be responsible in paying for something to be returned when they sent it to me. The guy on phone agreed and said hang onto item for 2 weeks and wait for email if warehouse wants it back.

    I received email saying if I’m interested in keeping Bournemouth armchair, they will withdraw funds from my account, if not then send back to contact them. I do not get where they keep insisting that I have that Bournemouth armchair, and this is where my nightmare begins, I have spent numerous days at over 1 hour wait time to speak to customer service reps explaining my situation, and all 3 customer service reps swear they put in a CALL TAG with 3 attempt pick up, but when I called UPS they are asking for a RS Label, and I explained that all 3 reps said they put call tag meaning the UPS driver brings the label, this is BS, and never once did any of these customer service reps tell me that I am the one to pay for the return of the item they wrongly sent me. I will never order from them again, and will be sure to tell my family and friends not to order from them!! I want them to pay the expenses to have it picked up and shipped back!!

    I Purchased a deck umbrella which was advertised with a large sturdy iron stand. But what I received with this flimsy four prong stand which I have to actually screw into the deck. This is completely faults advertising, mail fraud, and misrepresentation and I am going to contact an attorney. This is the worst company who sells the worst products imaginable.     Ordered a patio set which arrived damaged. Wayfair sent a replacement part - wrong part. Sent another replacement part - wrong part. Spent over 2 and a half hours trying to get to talk with someone then got disconnected without talking to anyone. Ordered an outdoor light for about $90. Light did not even have a plug attached. I would not have paid $10 for it. Had to send it back at my expense. Ordered a wind guard for a fire table. Shipping notice indicates that the one being shipped is not the size I ordered. The one I ordered is out of stock. So I will have to ship it back again at my expense. Unbelievable aggravation. Now on hold again for over half an hour.

    I ordered a washer from Wayfair for my new home and put the address for my new home. Somehow when I checked out it automatically said it was sending it to my old address on file. You can’t change the delivery address online. You have to call. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them and no luck today. I waited on the phone for literally TWO HOURS because I need this washer and I won’t be able to get it from the address it’s shipping to. After two hours the phone hung up. I decided to just cancel the order because I can’t get in contact with anyone from wayfair. But of course you have to call them to do that. Now I feel like I’m out $700.

    I purchased an outdoor wicker set and had a great guy from Handy Andy put it together. Upon looking at it after it was put together the set looks like its made for a 5 year old. I called to make arrangements to return it and I no longer have the boxes and theres no option to return it without the boxes or even to reach them. Ive planned on buying many things from them but after being on hold an hour and getting hung up on and trying again for another hour and getting hung up again Im so disappointed. Im hoping they will respond to me. So again Buyer Beware!! If you cant reach customer service. The cushions on it go 1/4 way of a regular set. They also want to charge 125$ to return it. I am not happy!! I hope somehow someday I will get a response!

    I purchased furniture for my daughter who lives out of state. After placing the order I realized I gave an old delivery address. There was no way to edit the address on the website. I called their customer service phone number. I was on hold for 1 hour and 8 minutes and no answer. The only option the website gave me was to cancel the order, and so I did. I cancelled the order and placed a new one for the same items with the correct address. Mind you that the items I cancelled had not yet been shipped and had a delivery date of at least a week in the future.

    A couple of days later I get an email that says that the items can't be cancelled and that they have been shipped. They refer you to their return policies in which, if you are not happy with the product, obviously without opening the box it comes in, since items have to be packed in their original packaging to process a return, you may return it, paying for shipping charges yourself! I am again on hold waiting for an answer from customer service. This time I have just been on hold for 45 minutes, having to listen to a repetitive message like I'm paying some karma for something I did very wrong in my life. I find it unacceptable that a company as big as this, has no alternate ways of communication like a chat or email. I'm hoping they will react to bad feedback, but have my doubts.

    I ordered bedding 5-20-20. They created a shipping label on 5-21-20. Sent me mail the item had shipped. UPS informed me that no item has been shipped. Charged my card and no product has been sent. When I tried to contact customer service I was left on hold for over an hour every time. They won't let me cancel the order...only return it. How can I return something that was never shipped? The items were listed in stock and Birch Lane/Wayfair sent me an email that the products should have been delivered on 5-28-2020. Again, it was never shipped according to UPS. I will be calling my credit card company as I was charged for a product that Wayfair failed to deliver. This is a fraudulent business practice. It is now 6-6-2020 & this company has failed to communicate a delay in product delivery, has failed to allow a cancellation of an order, and has failed to deliver a product.

    6/6/20. We purchased a 5 piece Latitude Run by Griffing patio set - it arrived in a Kozyard Olivia 5 pc. set box. The box had obviously been opened and re-taped, and had oil stains. The assembly instructions and all hardware/tools we're missing. My wife called and waited over an hour on hold. "Ronda" picked up and assisted us, promised instructions and hardware would be provided. 1 hour and 45 minutes of our Saturday afternoon. I will update this review with the if there is or isn't a resolution.

    Update: 3 star. I've been calling for 2 days and finally got through to customer service. I was on hold for 1+ hour today before someone picked up. I explained my concern and the representative was very polite and offered me options to rectify the problem. I opted for the option to receive a partial refund than a replacement. Didn't want to have to deal with mishap again during replacement.

    I ordered the Arlo coffee table and it got delivered today. After unboxing it I noticed the corner of the coffee table was damaged and the white layer of paint had cracked. The lower shelf of the coffee table also has a lot of scratches and marks on it. Seems like this was a used coffee table that was returned. Also this item is now sold out so there's no way for me to get a replacement. Called customer service at 4 different numbers to try to resolve the issue and never got through after holding for hours. Never received an update as to how long the wait would be for a representative. Customer service is non-existent. Now I am left with a damaged coffee table I paid $200+ for. This is my first time purchasing from Wayfair and will be my last. Originally I was planning to buy 3 more piece of furniture from them, luckily I held off on it. Overall this whole experience was a waste of time and money.

    I ordered a desk on March 20th. The desk had a ship date about a week after the order went through, and the money was debited from my account. The date for delivery estimated 4/17. The desk did not show. It arrived 5/22. No call or email. Just a late delivery. Upon delivery the box was damaged during its travel. The packaging was pretty good (made in China so the packaging is almost the same quality as the product). I called Wayfair and they assured me that replacement parts were going to be shipped to me.

    They sent me a nice email again giving a date that they would arrive. The date passed, so I bought a new desk in the meantime because I needed a desk. I first tried to call customer service, no answer for over 40+ minutes on line, so I emailed. No one responded to my email. A few days later I get an email saying the replacement parts are no longer available. The email said to have a nice day, there was no other information on what was going to be done to fulfill the missing and damaged parts. Do not order from Wayfair. Your chance of getting ripped off is pretty high these days.

    I ordered a porch swing for my balcony and it was promised to be delivered in a couple of weeks. The day before the promised delivery date I received an email that it would be delivered later than originally promised. Five months later. Really? A few weeks I can understand. Five months, in my opinion, is irresponsible and unprofessional. No explanation. I canceled the order, of course. This was my first purchase through Wayfair. It is my last purchase through Wayfair.

    I bought a light for my house that was being remodeled. As most things were delay because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The light got installed late. The light was unboxed and was not like anything pictured online. I was a week out of the 30 day return policy but figured they will understand because of COVID everything got delayed. They can just probably do store credit. I sat on hold for over an hour with no answer. I was able to track down an email address and send an email where they responded by copying and pasting the return policy. I requested a call and they stated the supplier would not take the item back and I could donate it.

    What horrible customer service. I could not believe this million dollar company could not do anything especially during a pandemic. Where is this company's compassion for people. I can't believe how companies act because all they care about is their money. I will never buy from there again and I hope anyone who sees this will not either. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

    I ordered a sectional that cost 1700.00. As it turned out there was a part of the listing that was not clear, or I misunderstood, depends on your point of view. I cancelled the order before it shipped and was assured I would be refunded. That was 3 weeks ago. They 1st claimed that it actually did ship and it was with one of their "partners" whatever that means. But this was a mistake and I would be refunded. I waited a week and no refund on credit card. I called back and the second person told me the 1st person forgot to do "something" so the refund did not go through. And now I can be sure that this time it was done right. Well the time had come and gone and no refund. I called back because the email I got again said "you will be refunded when we receive the return items", the items that never shipped and I don't have. I was assured that I was to pay no attention to that, my money was on the way. Tonight we are past the deadline again and nothing.

    I will try one more call in the morning and then call my credit card insurer and request a charge back. I should not have to chase my money and have the bank charge it back, like a small online retailer who went broke, with a company this size. All this for an item that did not ship and I never got, the website says they are waiting for the items, that they never shipped and acknowledge it.

    We ordered outdoor bar stools from Wayfair April 29, 2020. It's June 3, 2020 and still no bar stools. My delivery date has been pushed out multiple times and is now blanked out with the following message "Estimated after June 4th but has not been scheduled". The bar stools arrived at their Consolidation Agent near us May 26th. I've tried calling the agent and Wayfair multiple times, remaining on hold for an hour with no answer. Wayfair has no online chat or email to assist you with issues. At this point I plan to contact my credit card company and cancel the order. I will never buy from Wayfair again and hope this helps someone avoid a headache.

    I ordered two outdoor club chairs on Wayfair on 5/14/2020. Delivery date was set at 5/22. On 5/22, order status online was still "preparing for shipping." On 5/26, I called Wayfair to find out what was happening. After a 45-minute wait, a very nice rep said that he checked with the warehouse and my order was ready to ship and would ship tomorrow. He said the order status would be updated and he put in a request for a follow-up call to me.

    On 5/27, I tried to call Wayfair to find out the status since the online status had not changed. I called at 8 am, thinking wait times might be shorter. They were. After 10 minutes on hold, the call rang through to someone's voice mail, who said she was not working that day. I gave up and went online and canceled the order. The online system said "We are reviewing the request for cancellation. You will be notified within one business day of the outcome of the request." Well, okay, I guess if they already shipped it, but not updated the online system yet, that is a reasonable message. I waited one business day. I waited two business days. I tried calling in, but each time was told that wait times were very long, so I gave up.

    On 6/2, I reviewed my credit card bill and was shocked to see that Wayfair billed me for the chairs - $297 - on 5/15, which is one day after I placed the order. Now I had to speak to them, so I called customer service. I waited on hold for 1 hour and 26 minutes before I connected with a rep. She told me that Wayfair was waiting for me to call them before they cancelled the order. What??? At no point was I directed to call them to cancel. In fact, the whole time I was on hold, the hold message encouraged me to use the online system to check and order status or make changes. I certainly tried to do that.

    The rep was able to cancel the order. About 5 minutes after I spoke with her, I received an email notification of the cancellation, and a notification of the refund. The online order status now reflected the cancelled status. I know COVID is making it difficult to do business, but these guys are doing so much worse than any other company I have dealt with in the past two months. Giant time suck and giant annoyance.

    Be advised getting in touch with customer service is hard with very long wait times, over 30 minutes. Returning cost you, sometimes near what you paid, essentially forcing one to keep the item. Comenity who is their finance is useless. Never gives you the answer you ask. For instance, I tried to charge and my card was denied. Asked why no answer, never late, $0 balance??? So bye Wayfair, you are not worth my time, effort not money.

    I recently bought my first item from Wayfair. The item had a specific feature described in 3 different places. I bought based on that feature. The item I received did not have that feature. I tried to talk to them by phone and found that after a 45 minute wait 5 different times that they do not answer their calls. So I tried to use their online method of complaining and getting a refund. I never received a response. I kept checking my account only to find out they had cancelled my request for help. No notice to me. This company is a scam in my opinion. They are little better than thieves. Why is their false advertising my fault. I would rather pay a little more to buy from a reputable local store store than to ever put myself through the frustration of dealing with this company. I kept copies of all my communications with them. Fool me once shame on them. Fool me twice shame on me. Take my advice. Spend your money elsewhere.

    This company took my payment immediately; estimated delivery time and the only way to "track" the item on their website still just shows that it was to be delivered 5 days ago. No company listed that was to ship it, no other way to contact the company and email anyone, I called the only number given and was on hold over 35 minutes with no response. I will not order from them again, and perhaps some day I'll have somewhere to put my shampoo.

    Customer service not worth a crap, was on hold for 2hrs 32mins.. They hung up on me. I will never order from them again.. Placed an order on 4.27.20.. Received part of the order. The rest of the order is who knows where...Trying to get delivery address changed.. Can't do THAT online,.. Why is that?? Who knows.. I'm done with them.

    My item arrived on May 13th with several damaged parts. I immediately ordered a replacement part for the outward facing items. I wasn't pleased to find out that the replacement part (C-Left) wouldn't be shipped for over 2 weeks, so I called a customer service representative on the next day (May 14th). She assured us that the replacement items never take that long to ship, and that she would be forwarding us more information on the shipping date. Well, we never received any follow up from the customer service representative AND the original shipping date has come and passed. The part still hasn't shipped.

    I'm hoping that I won't require more items to be replaced but it's hard to tell until I have the replacement part I already ordered and can begin building the dresser. I won't be surprised if this delay is intentional, preventing me from ordering additional replacement parts if needed. Overall, this has been a horrible shopping experience and I won't be ordering through Wayfair again. When all you offer is 10% my next order on expensive furniture for the next couple of months, it really feels like nobody who works for you cares.

    I ordered a bed frame on the Wayfair website. It was supposed to be delivered on Friday, May 29, 2020. It still has yet to arrive. I have called FedEx a total of three times for them to tell me that the item is still at the Fedex Distribution Center. I contacted Wayfair through email and they told me the exact same thing that Fedex confirmed. It's unfortunate that you spend your hard earned money only to receive nothing in return. I wouldn't recommend Wayfair to anyone.

    I purchased a bed frame for my son. I picked out the frame and proceeded to checkout. The frame was on sale with a promo code. I put in all the payment information and hit the pay button. The next page to pop up was the payment confirmation page... with a higher price. I purchased a bed at one price and they charged me another price after I paid for the item. The promo code vanished once I paid for the bed. Is this legal? I was livid.

    Proceed to call customer service and wait on hold for 37 minutes. Abigail A. from Springfield, OR assured me the refund would be back on my card asap. "It's a glitch in our system and happens often." How can you illegally charge customers different prices and call this a glitch that happens often? Six days later and still no refund. I am currently on hold again for 33 minutes waiting for another agent. This company has been a nightmare to deal with. Avoid this company

    I ordered a washing machine from Wayfair and it was to be delivered 5/27|2020, When the delivery truck got to our address they informed us they couldn't make it up our driveway. The driver informed us if we gave him 700.00 cash he would try to get it up our driveway. Needless to say we told them to return the washer cause I was not gonna pay someone an extra 700.00 to bring it up for me..

    I shopped for throw pillow and thought I found the perfect ones from several companies. I didn't want them to turn out poor quality, but upon opening them, thought they looked cheap with single thin layer cotton fabric. Took all of a minute to be disappointed and decided to return since it's simple. But - they charged me $8.45 to return them! Just not happy with not knowing that up front. Just another reason I want to touch & feel an item before buying, and not purchase on-line.

    I ordered Roman shades in the Gracie Oaks brand. The brand of shades I ordered were more expensive than the ones I received. The brand I received was a cheap brand with no backing. I had read all the product information before ordering, including the answers to questions to make sure I was getting a shade with a solid color backing & a room darkening shade. I think it is wrong to make a customer pay for return shipping when they were sent the wrong items.

    I ordered a rattan set for my porch. It came late. But the worst is when we tried to put it together. Not one of the pieces fit together and the screws are far too short. There is no way this set could be put together. I tried to call several numbers. Once their recording is over, the phone disconnects. I have now tried an email.     The powered lift chair I ordered came with two right arms. I contacted Wayfair via email and their customer service representative was so helpful! We emailed back and forth a few times and I was given a date that the arm would be in. Left arm arrived and I never had to send the other arm back. Chair is beautiful, sturdy, and works great. The price was more than reasonable for a power lift chair that holds up to 375 pounds. I trust this company and would recommend them to anyone!

    Updated on 06/01/2020: I had a bad experience at Wayfair last week and I wrote a bad review online. Then I got a call from their Customer Service, because bad online press seems to be the only thing companies care about these days. The Wayfair guy went the extra mile to appease me; he not only resolved my original complaint with a discount, but also threw in a personal 10% discount code for a future purchase. So, I admit, I was appeased, even pleased. That motivated me to make another purchase today, which purchase purchased me yet more grief.

    At first the code didn't work. Aarghhhj!!! To use the personal 10% discount I had to sign in to my Wayfair account, I figured out only after trial and error (because the email didn't say so!). Once I got their system to apply the 10% discount (this purchase is taking way too long!!!), I hit PAY NOW, expecting the usual payment gauntlet, but suddenly I"m done! Done?!? How?? I root around my Wayfair account and find an old credit card number I don't even recognize, which expires this month. No way I saved that on their Wayfair account; did they save it without asking me?!?

    Anyways, some more rooting around reveals that they went through Paypal. Paypal?!? How?!? Well, so I go to the Paypal site, but Paypal doesn't have that credit card number, but rather two others, except that I can't find out which one they charged the Wayfair purchase to. Yet this all happened instantaneously, apparently, because Paypal says Wayfair already has its money. So, Wayfair is all paid up, except I can't find out how, because Paypal has no customer service, and Wayfair customer service has a 2 hour wait !!! So, I say to myself, let me write them an email instead. Here's the email their system won't send!!! Without any explanation!!! After I waste my time writing it. I append it here for a warning to others:

    "I'm very upset about my Order #: ***. When I clicked on PAY NOW, suddenly payment was made, I know not how! After clicking around, I found on my Wayfair account an old credit card number I didn't even recognize and so I got worried. However, somehow I figured out that Wayfair charged me through Paypal. Now, PayPal has different credit card accounts than the one listed at Wayfair, but I couldn't figure out which one they charged my Wayfair purchase too. Paypal had no customer service at all, and your Wayfair customer service line warned of a 2-hour wait!!! So, I'm upset. Can you blame me? Can you please tell me which of my credit cards you charged exactly?

    In the future, I will only purchase from Wayfair as a Guest, so that I have complete control over and review of the entire payment process!!! BTW, to make matters even more complicated, I was given a special 10% discount code for the bad experience I had at Wayfair last week, and the code didn't work at first (very frustrating!), but then after I signed in to my Wayfair account, I found that it did. So, I canceled the order without the discount, and it looks like I did manage to cancel it, except that Paypal lists not the discounted price that went through eventually, but rather the undiscounted price that was canceled. I can't figure out what happened and I don't have TWO HOURS to wait on the phone for your phone agent to explain it. I'm very, very upset. John"

    Original Review: I'm currently on a 25 min wait hold to cancel an order I waited 20 minutes for help with yesterday. Wayfair mailed me a 10% discount coupon which worked on their site, but when I went to pay with PayPal, the discount was removed without notice or explanation (good thing I was paying attention). Well, it was a $720 item, so $72 matters. I called for help and after a 20 minute wait (10 min promised) an agent who seemed competent said she could get the discount to go through processing me as a guest customer. Well, it looked like she got it to work, but when I didn't get a confirmation email today, I checked Wayfair.com and it doesn't recognize my confirmation number. So I call my credit card co., which reports Wayfair charged me NOT the total cited to me on the phone but an undiscounted total. So, now I get to wait another half-hour today to cancel an order I never agreed to.

    By the way, I tell the agent yesterday that by consulting the manufacturer's website I saw that the color they list for their pic is all wrong. I also complain that the other color option names are pretty useless without images of the differences. So, they have only one image of the item, with the wrong color name on it, and color option names with no images! This reminds me of my last purchase from them, when their image of brownish antiqued cherubs showed up white as snow on my front steps. That time the agent also talked me into getting their credit card for a discount, and there was a debacle with that too. They were very courteous about closing the credit card and correcting the error, but enough of this! Their customer service agents are very courteous, but your competence is consequential too. I'm not waiting for the third strike on that score. I'm done with Wayfair.

    I ordered from Wayfair online, and used a promotional code. The code showed in cart, but as soon as I hit enter, it disappeared. I thought maybe I messed up so I tried to call customer service; the wait time was 45 minutes. While I waited, I cancelled the order and tried again, with the same outcome. Once the CS rep answered, she advised they have had lots of customers today saying that had happened to them, too. She said she would submit a request to her manager to add the adjustment to my account. Six days later, I'm still waiting.

    Additionally, when I re-ordered, one item was the wrong finish. So she went ahead and cancelled it for me and said that due to all the trouble I was having she would waive the return shipping charge. However, as I check the invoice, they did NOT waive the shipping charge. Though I cancelled the original order, only the 3 cheapest items cancelled. The one for $399.99 did not cancel (though I chose to cancel within 30 minutes of placing the order!). I was given a song and dance as to why they couldn't cancel it, but assured they could re-route the item so I'd never even receive it. However, here comes Fed Ex with BOTH island carts (the cancelled one and the correct one). I refused the cancelled one and back it went.

    In reviewing my credit card, they have overcharged me $515.82 that is on my account accruing interest. Every time I call, it's a 45 minute to 1 hour wait (probably other customers raising heck like I'm having to). WHY have cancel as an option if your order doesn't cancel!?! Oh! And the one item that the CS rep cancelled for me....yeah, I got that, too and had to print a return label and take it to UPS myself. Absolutely ridiculous! The worst ordering experience I have EVER had, hands down. As I type this...you guessed it! I'm on hold for Wayfair's CS department...37 minutes and counting...

    I have had a horrible experience regarding customer service with Wayfair. I ordered a mattress and a bed frame about a month ago. Wayfair estimate about receiving the package was 10 days after. After 12 days I made a phone call, awaiting almost an hour and half until an agent was connected. I was advised to wait for 5 days and package, obviously, not received. I tried to contact them for 2nd and 3rd time asking for a clear response. They only said I have to wait and orders are backed up. Long story short, after four weeks, I decided to dispute the charge on my credit card. Guess what, I received an email from Wayfair that the package is lost and they want to refund me. It seems to me like deceiving a customer. I do not recommend this company unless you are prepared for a lot of stress and tension between you and Wayfair's customer service agents.

    Bought a table “originally” priced at $1100, marked down to $336 as a close out. When the table arrived, it was clear from the quality and make, it was really a $150 table. The top finish of the tale was mediocrity at best and it was missing a stem glide. Overall, false advertising! I would have faired better with a trip to WalMart.

    I ordered an item on May 11, 2020, was to be delivered the following week. Received email that the delivery date changed to May 26, 2020. When I called to find out why, they stated that Fedex wouldn't pick it up until May 22, 2020. On May 25, 2020 I had not received notification that my order was being shipped. I called again and they stated that it would not be delivered until June 2, 2020, again because of Fedex. I asked them to find a different carrier and they stated they couldn't. I ended up cancelling my order and finding a better on product on Amazon. Their shipping department needs to step up their commitment to getting orders out in a timely manner.

    Updated on 6/2/2020: I purchased a new home and bought a pool table from them on May 9th. Delivery was May 22nd. Well that didnt happen and after 4 phone calls on hold for over an hour each time still no pool table as of today or even scheduled to arrive anytime soon. Now says after June 9th? Most terrible music on hold again been an hour. Unacceptable customer service. I've talked to 5 people and get 5 different stories? Wow wasnt cheap pool table 900.00.     Ordered bed for my grandson on May 5th. Received email from Wayfair that it was shipped on May7th. It was to be delivered by May 22nd. On May 14, said delivery available for set up and someone would call 2 days before delivery. No one ever called but received email updating delivery to May 24th. On May 24th received text from delivery company that they could not locate order. Called delivery company and message said they were closed. Called Wayfair and waited on the phone for 2 hours for customer service. No one ever came on line. Extremely disappointed. Unprofessional and not what I expected from Wayfair.

    I ordered a recliner on a Sunday. I never got a email confirmation so I emailed the companies customer service. They couldn’t find the order so I decided to cancel the order Tue morning. So I emailed again and said cancel the order. They still couldn’t find the order so I had to send them all this info. Then another day goes by and They said, "I’m sorry the order has already shipped. We can’t cancel it." I replied and each time I did I would get a different agent. It was a complete horror show! I had 8 different people telling me different things so I finally called it took over an hour to get a customer service person and after I did they were no help!!! I will NEVER order from them again.

    Order an outdoor section over 2 months ago before all the lockdown. Got told it shipped out and we would get it a month ago. Day comes and we don't get it so we call to find out what's going on. Wayfair blames it on the shipping company. So they order a new one and again says it shipped out, lie number 2 there. Call again after not getting it and they say, "Oh yeah we are going to ship another one," lie number 3. Call again and guy calls warehouse and they don't even have one to ship out.     I ordered a Ottoman May 7 and it finally arrived today after being told it was arriving May 11, 14, 15, 19 & 20. When I opened the box it did not look the same as the picture on their website and the box's marked differently to what I ordered. Apply to return and they will only return if I pay for UPS. Absolutely crazy. They sent the wrong item and I have to pay to return. I will not purchase from them again.

    I just received something that is damaged to the point you can’t use it. It’s missing parts and damaged. I spoke to Roslyn W, the customer service specialist. Very immature, unrealistic, unreasonable woman. I placed my order on April 28, 2020 and receive on May 19, 2020. The box it came with is all damaged and it’s really big box. She knows about the chair, she has photos and she wants me to go buy her a big box to replace the damage box and sent the broken damaged chair back to her. I told her there are no stores open due to Covid-19 and I can’t get one, unless she provides one. She said she will not refund my money until she receives the chair. Wayfair you scamming people during covid-19 for lost $ and business. Sending damaged items.

    My return was received 5 days ago due to an inability to deliver the product to me. Wayfair inserted the wrong address for delivery. When it was returned, they have failed to provide any refund information. No one answers the customer service phone number. I've called for three days and been on hold for up to 2 hours without anyone answering the phone number. There is no other way to reach Wayfair. COVID or not, this is not an acceptable level of customer service. I will never order from Wayfair ever again.

    I went to buy a sink, a nice one, I was excited and spending the money. A pop-up on their site at checkout (I've been a member there for years!) said I was preapproved and would save $40 if I just filled this form out to complete my purchase. Well, that was not truthful. In the end I was not preapproved, gave my information and got a huge runaround and felt lied to. Needless to say, they lost the sale and I now no longer trust the company or their affiliates.

    I called and waited 45 minutes to talk with someone and they were nice, but they could do nothing, said I was not preapproved, even though the site said I was and will have to wait two weeks for the final verdict if I'm going to be good enough to get a Wayfair credit card. They said "all credit card companies do it", I asked them if they were a credit card company and why they would let an affiliate LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT? No answer. I hung up feeling like I had been scammed out of my own information and never even got the benefit of my efforts. I'm back to shopping for a sink, but now I have blocked all wayfair ads and other affiliates from ever showing up on my screen again.

    It just felt scammy and that made me so sad. If I hadn't seen that stupid pop up ad I would have purchased the sink and it would already be on its way to me. Now I don't trust them enough to spend $20, not to mention many hundreds I was about to fork down on a new sink. They lost a sale due to greed and assuming that no one would complain about a lie in their ad copy. I'm complaining...

    Calling to cancel order as their website says you can cancel anytime before shipment. Yet, my order can’t be canceled even though it won’t be delivered until June 17, today is May 18. I’ve called 3 times & have been on hold over 30 minutes each time. This is customer service???? I’m beginning to believe they only have one person in the department.

    Updated on 05/20/2020: I didn't know how to add to my other review. But, I got an email the next day to confirm that I would be getting my product this coming friday (May 22). Then I received this email the day I was told again my item would be shipping out.

    Original Review: I ordered new closet system on April 28 to be delivered on May 15th. I called on May 12 because I still hadn't received any shipping detail. After waiting over an hour, the agent told me that she could see that it was indeed leaving their warehouse the next day. So, I paid a contractor to help me install them to lock it in. But the next day I instead received an email that my order would be delayed a week (May 22). After losing money from the contractor because he blocked a day of work, I decided to call again on May 18th.

    Again after waiting over an hour, I talked to agent that told me that he thought that when they went to pick the order is when they realized that they didn't have the items, so they ordered from manufacture. But he said that it should be shipped out on the 20th. He put me on hold to call the manufacture to verify, but instead 15 more minutes later the call was dropped. Whats the reason to even record the call if it doesn't help? 1 star was the least I could do?

    I purchased a vanity from Wayfair. The body comes pre assembled. The L door will not stay closed. The flat gray paint is not what the ad indicated in pics. There is no plug for charging as indicated. The bench was missing hardware. Wayfair offered me a 10% coupon to buy more! That was their response. An expensive item. They said I can send it back AT MY EXPENSE AND I ALSO HAVE TO PAY FREIGHT FOR THE BROKEN UNIT TO ME IN THE 1ST PLACE. Not another word from them. I looked all over for a vanity and they totally ripped me off!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM WAYFAIR.

    I ordered two sets of these sheets for a project I'm doing and due to extreme delays in shipping by some companies I paid for expedited shipping. When my order arrived it only contained one set of sheets. They refuse to expedite the shipping of the second set of sheets. They won't arrive until the very end of the month! Way too late for my needs. On top of that, the colors are nowhere near as bright as they show on their website. The red isn't red, it's pink! This was this first time I've ordered from Wayfair and it's the last. Totally rotten experience! Then they offer me 10% off of one item on my next order! Like I would order from them again! I didn't have a problem with the customer service representative as I'm sure she was only following company policies.

    I did not have a positive experience with ordering for the first time with Wayfair on the phone. Told I would receive the 10% off for first time ordering but charged full price on my card, then charged again for one of the items the following day. It was not explained why they do this and told "most 500 fortune companies do this" but should come off. This is not explained with ordering that they charge twice when an order is ready to ship but is suppose to be removed later. Not a good experience.

    Updated on 09/13/2020: Where do I begin? I WENT FROM A 81 CREDIT TO A ALMOST 300 BILL on a 269 table. All statements sent said I have a 276 credit. 45 mins on phone where I was hung up on. Will never use them again. I cut up the 5000 limit credit card.

    I placed an order for a customized computer chair on April 16th, 2020. They kept tagging my account for almost 300 every week saying, "Don't worry. It will drop off in two to three business days," and that they will keep tagging the account every week til it's shipped, but my bank keeps them pending for ten days, so I asked them to just take it and stop tagging my account, the chair was due to be shipped yesterday, and the website kept saying it was in the process of being shipped. I looked at the website again today and it said it was on back order! With an estimated delivery date of July 9th, 2020. So now I'm on hold waiting to speak to someone, getting the same recording as everyone else, 25 or more mins. It's been 40 mins already. First time ordering from this place and the last time as well. I won't see that refund for 2 weeks almost. Highly disappointed because this was for my husband's birthday which was yesterday. Do not order from here!

    Wayfair is a scam. They offered 12 month 0% interests payment and if I had not checked when I got my first bill, I would be paying 26.99% interest monthly of the account. I offered to pay the balance in full and the customer service attendant said it would cost me $9 to pay over the phone. Then he politely offered to initiate a dispute to switch my account to a deferred payment account. I asked him how long would it take to resolve the dispute, he said up to 90 days. So, at a minimum they would have collected 3 months interest no matter the outcome of my dispute. Needless to say I told him to go pound sand. I'm paying the balance in full online w/o a penalty and without the criminal interest rate.

    What I just experience is call "bait and switch". And it's illegal. I have contacted my attorney on retainer. Now, to be fair, the predatory loan was offered by an agent named Comity who underwrites the Wayfair loans. But that is Wayfair's problem, not mine. You can bet with great certainty that I will take my business elsewhere. And you can too.

    I ordered an outdoor patio umbrella in April it is May 14th and I have not received my package. They made a label to make it look like the package was sending but FedEx says they haven't sent anything. The got a label but nothing else. This is the second time I had a shipping issues with ordering with them. It's going on 2 months now and no package! Horrible customer service EVER. Not worth the hassle! I can order something from China and get it in 3 weeks guaranteed and ordering this and it's coming from CA. Don't use COVID as a reason Wayfair. Your shipping sucks regardless.

    HORRIBLE!!!! As I sit here and type this, I am getting the same junky elevator music (I would use another word, but it says no profanity :)) and the same annoying voice saying my wait time will be 25 minutes... I have been on hold for 30+ minutes!! Just one more reason to complain about this company.... I ordered a mattress and box spring back on April 23, we paid for it using 2 gift cards totaling $350.00, and a remaining balance of $219.14 to be billed to my visa. Later that day, the charge was pending in my account. The next day the charge was no longer there and had gone back into my account. Upon receiving the box spring, it requires assembly.. Nothing said about that in the description....

    Fast Forward to May 8th checking my account, and sure enough the charge was again pending in my account set to be released on mother's day. I checked my account on mother's day, and sure enough the charge was no longer pending and went back into my account. I sent a nasty email, and told them that I should not have to check my bank account to make sure I am not going to overdraft my account by getting gas.

    So today I get a response from Kourtnie ** saying "I have looked over your account and what is happening is we are have marked the funds. What this means is that we have the funds pending but the charge hasn't been settled out because we don't do that till your item ships out." "With marked charges legally we will only be able to hold the funds in a pending state for 7 days then they make us void it out and just remark it." When I called today, I spoke to another lady and told her that I've worked loss prevention investigating credit card fraud and I have never heard of that happening. Once I said that, she said that she could process the funds so there was no more confusion.

    I don't know what happened to Wayfair in the last 5 months. I purchased many items in the past year from them because of a recent move. They were always quick to make things right, but now no response. I purchased a dresser from them and one of the drawers was defective. I contacted them 5 times by email. No response. I tried to call, you can wait on hold for an hour. I ordered a couch, it was back ordered. So I ordered another. Now that couch is back ordered and the original one says it is available. Forget this company.

    Placed my around $4000 order yesterday. Today I used different credit card because I received an email that some of the items from my order were canceled and it was credit card related issue. After placing my order again, they completely canceled my order and I didn't even know about it. Called there thousand times, wanted to find out the reason. They just put the restrictions on my account, my mothers account and my husband's account. Didn't even get a chance to explain or prove anything. My experience with Wayfair is really horrible. It took me 2 weeks to choose desired furniture there and now our accounts are restricted for no reason and has to choose everything all over again from other websites. The worst thing is they dont even give you a chance to prove your truth. I will never shop there anymore!

    Placed an order 3 weeks ago with projected delivery of today.. They took my money but nothing has shipped.. Spent over 1 hour on the phone.. Agent could not get warehouse to pick the phone up.. Told her to cancel the order, which she did BUT I was told the warehouse can reject my cancellation and ship anyway.. In that event I would have to catch the delivery and reject.. THEN 3-5 days after warehouse got order back my monies would be refunded.. This could take up to 2 more weeks.. If I dont catch delivery and reject it's like I am returning it and I have to pay shipping back and get penalized for returning.. They are on my "Never order from again" list.. I'm left waiting for what THEY want to do...

    DO NOT SHOP FOR FURNITURE HERE. This place is a mess - an absolute disorganized, poorly run establishment. First, the website was flat out wrong about when my furniture would get to me, literally received items weeks, even months late. Parts to the same item can literally be sent months apart, what sense does this make? The stuff was also of lower quality when I received it. Save your money, shop elsewhere.

    Decorated my whole house through Wayfair. I have to say, I was skeptical about ordering online, but Wayfair made it not only very easy, but I was able to keep within my budget and the products purchased were great quality/buys! I did have an issue due to the timing of my move and shipments wherein the items were not able to be held on vacation hold due to the Fedex's policy (NOT Wayfair) but I will say, they worked with me EVERY step of the way with calls providing updates from the customer service reps. Robin was especially amazing and helpful. All items were packaged very well and I have to say the quality was far better than the furniture store that I had purchased before finding Wayfair. So I highly recommend this company. Topnotch customer service team also. The employees all seem to be very happy and go above and beyond.

    Earlier this year my fiancé purchased an item and it wasn't Wayfair fault regarding the product. It was the manufacturer who made horrible assembly instructions and product. The part that was very frustrating is dealing with Wayfair in trying to get this issue resolved. First contact they offered us a $20 credit towards another purchase but we would have to pay a huge amount of money to ship the product back due to bulk sizing. $60 plus dollars. The product was only a little over $100.

    We reached out to BBB to get this matter resolved and they refunded my fiancé however I don't recommend this company to ANYBODY. The company will make you pay an arm and leg if anything goes wrong with the product. Even if you don't like just keep in mind if it's a bulk item it's going to cost A LOT to ship it back. I recommend Amazon, Ashley Furniture and etc. They have WAY better customer service. If something goes wrong they won't make you feel alone and take more money out your pocket to resolve. I'm writing this review to save others the headache. If this company has better policies for returns and product failures especially bulk items it may be worth it until then it's not. Thumbs down and 0 stars if I could.

    Do not buy anything from this company...It is junk and you can't get anyone on the phone. Spent money that I should not have spent on the junk. I was putting it together following the instructions and it fell apart and pulled all of the pegs and cams out and busted all of the cheap particle board up.

    Wayfair advertises itself as 'shipping for free' when in reality its 'shipping is part of the inflated price'. That's to be expected but its way more than you would suspect. The prices for the items are two to three times what they actually cost. They change the names of the items to disguise their true cost. I found out the bed I wanted is available on the American version of their website ALL MODERN.com for a third of the price except they don't ship to Canada so we have to use their WAYFAIR.com site where the prices are hyper-inflated. The bed I ended up buying is also sold by Walmart for less and the manufacturer also sells it for less. They change the names of the items and the companies that make them to deceive consumers.

    Wayfair shipping is also extremely erratic and delayed. They post WRONG dates for when a shipment will arrive on their site. It shows you the date the item is expected to arrive due to your postal code. I even called to confirm the shipping date. The sales associate confirmed the date as arriving 14 May. 5 mins after I got off the phone I received a confirmation email saying my item wouldn't arrive until 12 June. Their system knows how long their shipment will take but they tell you the wrong date at time of purchase. Furthermore they bill immediately instead of waiting until as soon as the item is shipped like The Bay or Amazon. So they have your money for an entire month, by which time you'll have paid your credit card bill hoping the item will even arrive on the new date that they given.

    Was very disappointed with their return policy for a large broken mirror. I opened the box, peered in and noticed it was shattered before removing from bubble wrap. Resealed and called customer service. Received a refund but told unable to take back as too risky for Fedex, even though they delivered 5 minutes earlier in broken condition, and that I can donate or dispose. Who would want a shattered mirror? Too risky to send back, yet no problem with me getting cut as I carefully transferred large pieces to my trash as recycling will not take it in the box. Now it became my problem to clean up shards from my floor as some fell.

    Updated on 05/15/2020: Several days after order, the delivery day pushed back several days, and changes several more times (strike 1). Sofa finally arrived 4 days later than originally expected, and color is nowhere near as advertised (discovered that other customers have had the same experience) (strike 2). Went in my Wayfair account to begin the return process and was informed “returns are currently unavailable” (Strike 3). Compounding the extreme frustration, there is no online support, chat, or email. Just a phone number with traditional business hours. Now stuck with a huge loving room eyesore. Nothing about this experience was positive. I do tons of business with Amazon. I spent about 15% less on this purchase by giving Wayfair a try...and very much regret it. Never again. Deactivating the Wayfair account and deleting the app. Back to Amazon!

    Original Review: Ordered a couch. A week later it’s still in the original “preparing for shipping” status. Before purchasing, a deliver-by date was advertised. The “approximately in your area” date is now several days later. If I had anticipated this, I would’ve paid slightly more with Amazon Prime, to ensure the delivery timing.

    I purchased a ROCKER recliner from Wayfair. When delivered it was NOT a ROCKER recliner and NOT the brand I ordered. Per Wayfair, "We don't actually have the chair you ordered, our warehouse sent you a "comparable" chair"." No one from wayfair contacted me to give me an option! The ONLY solution they offered was to have the warehouse send me a chair that rocked!!! I get no say??? Just have me pay for something you don't have, then send me what you want??!! I demanded a refund, and they acted like they were doing ME a favor! First experience with wayfair DEFINITELY last.
