    I ordered merchandise a few months ago. I was told my order could not be filled (after it went through). I opted for backorder. Optics Planet keeps pushing back my fulfillment date as the price of the merchandise has increased considerably. Very obvious ploy to get me to cancel my order. Bad business. I won’t shop with them anymore.

    Gladly took my money, when wrong item was shipped, can’t get hold of anyone on the phone3 times on hold for 50 min to 1 he 10 minutes, very ANNOYING on hold music, continues to get louder and than gets quieter. And then, they only offer three return options, prepaid return label, and subtract 7.99 from your refund, ship it back at my cost, VERY bad customer service, this business sucks.

      Bought an inoperable device and optics planet and Laserlyte (device manufacturer) refuse to do anything about it. I got in direct contact with the company and this matter has been dragging on for almost a year.

      Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. Bought a wrench and they used a 3 year old address and shipped it and told me it's my fault? My address was updated on their website. Took 2 hours on hold to tell me nothing they can do? Please don't waste your time and money dealing with this dishonest company. Too many good companies out there to deal with this company. So yeah I'll pay more instead of dealing with them again. It's a shame I had to give them 1 star, it should be negative 5 🌟.

      I have ordered multiple times from Optics Planet sadly and now I’m just done. They list products in stock that are not available then say on back order after ordering. Then when it does ship if it comes from Aurora IL then it’s usually delayed or damaged by the time you get it.

      OpticsPlanet.com is a con job. It's a scam. Stay away from!!! I've never, ever ordered anything from them, but they still tried charging my bank account. How they even received, or knew my info is beyond me. Please, stay away from their website! Scam artist!

      We ordered what was supposed to be a Ravin Crossbow (listed as one on their site and our invoice showed and listed as one) however we received a Centerpoint one. When we called, they were rude said they couldn't simply exchange the item for the correct one they had to research it. We send in pictures of the bow we received finally got an email back stating that they were to blame for shipping the wrong bow we could return it for instore credit, return or exchange. I asked to exchange it for the correct one got no reply. Called and was told that Ravin doesn't make that crossbow it was mislabeled on their site and all they could do is a return. Their response time and customer service is severely lacking and their taking responsibility for their mistake is nonexistent. I would not order from them again!

      A week after order placed and paying $25 for shipping 3 bags that wait about 6 ounces total, they have not process the order. Not only that, but called customer service and their call center seems to be in furlough. First call waited 30 mins in line and then went with the option of a call back. 5 hours later nothing. Called next day, waited an hour in line and the same. OP needs to get his business together. Not the experience I was expecting from such a gigantic retailer.

      I placed an order for a 6 pack of Master Lock Python cable locks all keyed the same. Master Lock Python Security Cable, 5/16in, Case of 6, Black 2489 $147.99. Package arrived with only a 1 lock package. The box is for 1 cable lock. However, on the bottom label it says, "Case of 6." Additionally, the order was placed on September 9 and not delivered until September 26, a total of 17 days. I tried to resolve this matter with the support team and even sent photographs of what was received. But no resolution was made other than being told to return the item for a credit or refund. The support staff also advised, “Alternatively, it may be worthwhile to try and contact the manufacturer yourself to have the missing parts sent.” The entire purchase experience is truly unacceptable, and I will be taking my business to another vendor.

      We are truly sorry for this inconvenience & the delay in shipping. We have reviewed your issue with our supplier and to resolve it, we need to bring back the shipment you received and exchange it for the correct Case of Six, as we advised you on 10/8.

      Sometimes, a Manufacturer will resolve issues like this directly which is why this was recommended, but we are only able to proceed with having it returned & exchanged.

      I found a product cheaper at Midway and asked if they would price matched and allow me to use my coupon. They agreed. Told me to make purchase and send order number and they would credit. I did. When it came time to credit they tried to say I ordered wrong item. The item they said I was supposed to have ordered was cheaper than price they agreed on normally. So why would I agree to pay more. I finally decided to call because it takes them at least 2 days for each response. I was on hold for over 3.5 hours (have screenshot to prove). They assured they would call back and never did. I did end up returning but by time I realized they weren’t going to honor their word, it was off sale at Midway, so they ended up costing me $300 and my card still hasn’t been credited for return. The frustrating part is they blamed me for mistake all the way to end. I have emails and photos to prove everything.
