On hold for 2 hours. STILL NO RESPONSE. AVOID. Unsatisfactory at best.

Buyer Beware. This is the worst, absolute worst, insurance company I have ever dealt with. I bought a small life insurance policy and was told by the broker that if I didn't like it I could cancel within 30 days & get my money back. I also was not told there would be a wait time of two years before they would pay a death benefit. I called to immediately cancel after I learned this info. The rep said they would send me a cancellation form, which I was never told I would need either. The rep waited two weeks before sending it.

The worst. I am cancelling my accounts. Website is terrible. You cannot talk to anyone ever!! No one responds to emails for calls. The website does not help with any problems that you may have, so you have to call and you WILL NOT get a response.

Do not buy insurance from Gerber. Terrible website and customer service. I have repeatedly tried to correct my mailing address and the website keeps defaulting to a combination of my new and old address. And there is no customer service on weekends to help.

The website has been down making it difficult for customers to pay premiums. Customer service is no help. I have more than one policy, in fact I have several policies and making payments over the phone is too time consuming.

This is the worst insurance company out there. Please do not use them. I started a policy on my grandson when he was about 2 weeks old I had to call them to find out how to make the payment because I never heard anything back from them. I made the payment and in 7 weeks my grandson ended up passing away and they refuse to pay out on the policy. Every time you speak to them they have a different reason and every reason they have come up with I have proven that they are lying so they come up with another reason not to pay out. My daughter was unable to have a funeral for my grandson because she had no money to pay for it and they never paid out. I have been fighting with them for a year now.

Gerber Life Insurance is a joke and a scam. They told me I can cancel my policy anytime and get money back from what I was paying into it. So I canceled it and then they told me wouldn't get money back then they sent us a check for $190 after I paid over $750 into it. There just a scam so watch out. They will not give you your money back.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with!! We never received our loan check and it's taken 3 months so far, dealing with the issue. We either need a new check or the loan cancelled and it's been a nightmare!. I would never recommend this company due to their customer support/service. Gerber is a very old name and I would expect so much more from them.

Please it does not look at it seems. Very disappointed in how Gerber Life Insurance works a disbursement a check for College Plan Policy. Requested disbursement on 07/29, supposedly on 08/01 was approved and sent for check to be sent. I didn’t know that Wells Fargo it’s the bank who sends the check. They first informed it will take 7 to 10 business days. I called again. They replied 10 to 14 Business Day, again called and after check is sent by Wells Fargo (which they do not know) 14 business day more. To cut short I have been waiting 22 business days and almost a month and I have not received the check to pay for part of tuition.

This company is very dishonest. I emailed them about canceling my daughter's policy. They emailed me back the instructions on how to cancel. I sent in the necessary paperwork. They still took a payment the next time it was due. So I called them to cancel. A guy kept me on the phone forever to try to sell me other insurance plans. When I told him, I still wasn't interested, he proceeded to give me a new number. When I called that number, the lady told me that no such policy existed, a plan I had been paying on since my daughter was a baby.
