    Reviewed Jan. 21, 2026

Our bathroom remodel was scheduled for August 2025. After signing the contract, they disappeared and any news on when they would start came from several dead and phone calls and the reaching someone not associated with our project. The salesperson, Bill, made promises about keeping us informed, but he never called again, and when we did reach him, he had no answers. Everyone kept passing the responsibility to others. The project manager, Eric, kept telling us the problem was the inspectors with the city of Bellevue. The company sent Nate, who told us he was Bill and Eric's supervisor, to tell us the project was delayed longer. Matt said that neither Bill nor Eric wanted to tell us the news. His promises of communicating with us were broken as well. We heard from him once more, but then he did not return our calls.

When they finally started the work in October of 2025 , they demolished the tub area, and then broke the pan during the installation attempt. We had several conversations with a supervisor in South Dakota, Nate, who very rudely told me to tell my spouse to not watch the contractors do their jobs! He said the contractors were unable to do their jobs while being watched. When talking to the contractors directly, they said they were fine with a costumer being present. Since this is a custom job, they had to remake the shower pan. The projected date for that part to be in was Jan 15 2026.

Recently, we learned that our project manager was no longer with the company, so we were assigned a customer service rep, Katie, to answer our questions and keep us informed. We reached out Jan 14, and she texted that our part was supposed to be in on the 15th. The 15th came and went, and here we are, Jan 21 and no one from YHIC is reaching out to us. We've left 3 messages for Katie, but have heard nothing. YHIC has more than 2/3 of the cost of this project already. The culture of this company is avoidance and blame, and if it wasn't for the money we've already invested, we would hire someone else.
