I'm sorry I have to leave a bed review on your site! The reason is because on my last search I found a house. I thought it was a great find with the great taxes but it was a misleading one your site. After I got in touch with the broker and broker found me e mortgage broker and It was approved my mortgage, mortgage broker found that the taxes for the house were twice higher than Trulia is advertising on their website. What a disappointment. I definitely will never check and use Trulia anymore.

Hello, We saw a house for sale on Trulia several years ago that we bought. This house was listed by them was not screened very good and turned out to be a rodent, snake home. We were connected up with Remax Realty in Paducah, Ky. and they had a friend inspect the house and they found no defects in the home. Their friend plus the house flipper and realtor covered all the problems up about this home to sell it! We paid cash for this home and we still live at this house but we got rid of the rodents and snakes getting into the house from the crawlspace under the home. There were a lot of other problems with the construction that we fixed ourselves to save money on repairs. Please beware of Trulia. They list homes that are not screened for problems like this so be careful if you buy a home on their website!

I have tried Trulia a few times now, and it always end the same. They put me in touch with a real state agent who will tell me that the property is already in contract or sold. This company is unfortunate a real waste of my time every time. I have finally decided that I will never use them again. I started to use Streeteasy and haven’t had such problems. Therefore, I recommend you to go there instead. Best of luck!

Trulia is a big scam. They have so many rentals on there it’s so unreal nobody calls you back. Or the agent tells you to fill out a credit application, I fill it out and boom an hour later the agent says the apartment has been rented. How did that happen. That apartment was listed 2 days ago and already it has been rented. After you submitted your personal information I think they sell these personal information to telemarketers and other bad companies. Beware. Trulia you can’t foo me again. I will delete my personal information and throw you in the garbage bin to never see again.

Trulia.com a is one of the better websites I have used. The other ones are good, but Trulia allows the user to see the different loan rates, even for the Veteran. Plus you can see homes, & apartments in different Cities.

I like the how user friendly it is and the different map options. I am planning on moving within the next year and use it a lot. What I don’t like is every time you look at a house it opens up a new browser tab and before you know it, my tablet is slowing down. My least favorite feature is when you put in a city it doesn’t always let you look outside that area.

Not only did I receive 0 callbacks from any potentially legitimate listings, I received endless scam emails and scam phone calls, (not just spam, SCAM) so now my information is out there for all these scammers to pass around. DO NOT EVEN CREATE AN ACCOUNT. Hopefully the app will be removed from the app store.

Trulia is a joke, I found a lot of places on Trulia. Notified the property management with the phone numbers that was on there with no luck. Don't get me wrong. The site is very organize but when it comes time to to make an appointment to see the place, you will never get a response. If someone picks up the phone, they'll hang up on me or either telling me that the place has been rented, yet two weeks later they're still showing up on Trulia. No it's not because it's me because I had other people calling and they got the same thing.

This is ridiculous. No one calls me back for apartments. Waste of time. I have to do all the footwork in finding an apartment. Then I have to speak with a realtor to see the apartment. Then I have to pay a realtor fee?? I did all the work in looking for an apartment not them. I shouldn't have to pay a fee. No realtor calls you back. You have to harass them. So if no callback no appointment are made to view an apartment. All they do is ask for your info and then say, "I will call you back.." Nobody wants to do the footwork. I need a hustler that wants to make money. So ridiculous???. I'm so over it. TRULIA SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. NEGATIVE REVIEWS..

I have used Trulia a few times over the years to advertise properties for rent. After the property was rented, I found that the old photos of the interior are still posted on Trulia. I got requests from my tenants to remove the interior photos as they now live inside and don't want that to be still out in the public. It took Trulia about 5 days to respond to my first request, though asking "Since you submitted your original request five days ago, it’s likely that you’ve moved on or that you were able to self-resolve your issue. If you still need assistance, simply reply back to this email and we will be happy to help you." I had to reply and request again. This time, the photos were finally removed.

Trulia is interesting To a point. I have several searches, with specific parameters set. It still chooses to ignore these and give me information I do not want or require. In comparison, this problem never occurs with Zillow. Trulia needs to do some work.

The use of this site is extremely frustrating because it will tell me that there are a certain number of pictures of a house for sale and then it doesn't want to show me those pictures. I tried to scroll through them but it's like it wants to keep me on each photo for several seconds when I don't want to be there. Maybe the pictures are just slow in loading. I don't know what the problem is but I cannot use this website without going crazy. To be fair they notify me immediately when something new comes on the market but then I have to look it up on Zillow.

Trulia was a complete waste of money for me. Every house they had listed already had a pile of applications and I was asked if I wanted to get on the waiting list. Many properties are still listed even though they are rented. My experience was that this company was a scam. They make you pay 29.00 for a service that is flawed. For the 29 dollars you apply to as many houses as you for 30 days. I contacted over 15 and they all had a waiting list or were rented.

I lost track of how many times my hopes were crushed because I finally found a house, call about it and it's contingent or sold. And on this crappy website it shows active for sale. False information and whoever's job it is to update this information should be fired.

Trulia LIES about the property size and the amount of acreage on their homes by A LOT just to get you to look at the listing. I am talking putting 35.30 Acres on a listing that at most was .25!!! This is False Advertising! I have found multiple inaccuracies on their listings and this has caused a lot of time to be wasted looking at properties that actually DO NOT fit our criteria or within the parameters of the search filters that they have for you to choose from! Don't use this site, but if you must... Know that the information listed is unreliable, at best!

The Trulia website has false and inaccurate information concerning my home and property that is published publicly to their website https://www.trulia.com/. They will not remove it or correct nor do they allow the homeowner to claim their home and correct it like the other sites. All other real estates sites have accurate information except for Trulia!

I called Trulia seeking a professional realtor and was given the name of Spring ** in Ohio. Not only was she unprofessional but every time I asked to put an offer in and a settlement date of 45 days she kept saying it was too long. Not once did she take the information to seller to give them the decision. She also was rude and disrespectful when I said she is supposed to allow the seller to decide. Trulia should be referring experienced professional real estate agents to their customers and complaints should be reviewed before referring clients just to anyone.

When I purchased my house two years ago the Trulia website was instrumental in helping me select the right house in the right neighborhood. Unfortunately, they have removed most of the useful tools which were helpful. Specifically, the commute heatmap allowed me to easily find a general location to start looking for a house. This is now gone. I will no longer be utilizing trulia or Zillow!

Trulia real estate company called me about purchasing my first, FHA home. They sent me to a lady they said was great named Vicky **. I later found out she was working with her husband as a team. They never told me they were working for both me, the buyer and also the seller and listing agent whom they never mentioned. They said it was a single man that owned the home when it was Sandbar Holding company LLC an investment company that purchased a foreclosure home a year before and hid all the problems. They purchased it for $106,000 and sold it to me for $176,500 a year later.

In my opinion Trulia does more harm than good for some properties hoping to list. Trulia doesn't keep up with the times, they do not update the properties on their web page that have been greatly improved, therefore undermining real estate values for that property. A perfect example is **, in Cumming Georgia. This property has been completely revamped in every category to the tune of 50K+ yet Trulia has no clue.

The person that contacts you is not the realtor listing the property. The people that contact you call theirselves buying agents. They get commissions from the listing agent and any lender they can hook you up with. No better than realtor.com.

I applied for apartment with Trulia. They said the landlord received my application. I emailed landlord about my application. I was told they have no connections or ties with Trulia. They are scam artists. Stay away...I would give zero stars but had no choice but to give them one.

A homeowner has no control to change the post on Trulia. So after you buy a home, the images of inside your home is stuck on there. You can’t learn this from their help forum easily because it’s filled with credit scammers using it to spam advertising. Honestly I have a hard time understanding how Trulia exists legally. It’s clearly promoting scams and removing privacy protection for homeowners.

I asked if a house was still available. They were evasive, rude, and pushy about looking into other properties but wouldn't say if it was sold. Never did find out if it was available, but won't be using them again.

Gave my SSN# and paid 29.99 for a hard pull credit check to apply for leasing a property listed on their website. Filled out personal info towards the rental application then all they do is continue to send you the same listings that you can view without filling out ** or giving your personal info or credit check.

I have been trying for over 2 months to find a rental in the Phoenix area. I contacted many rental place mostly private owned and got no response to my inquiries. So needless to say I am very frustrated with this site. A lot of realtors started (managing) properties after the bad market in 2008. Now the market is great and they are not handling the rental properties well. I had one property owner that was very shady asking me for my bank statements. (No thank you) I had no good experiences with this site.

I purchased my home in 2002 and have been living in the same house since then. I recently decided to look up previous sales on my home and came across an erroneous sale on my home in 2011 on Trulia and Zillow. I contacted both Zillow and Trulia, and Zillow immediately took down the sale after checking with our local country records. Trulia, well that was a very different experience. I was told by Trulia customer service that "these pieces of data are collected and aggregated by these third party data providers through bulk batches containing millions of data points at one time." They don't enter, edit or update any of the information on their site nor do they know who these third party data providers are.

My husband and I were misled by the communications of Alex **, Trulia's 1st Contact Rep. I requested information about a particular home for sale and immediately received a text from Alex **. She inquired when she could phone about the property and confirmed that we were interested in buying. I clearly communicated that my husband was in Lawrenceburg, IN, for business and would like to schedule a viewing of the home for Thursday evening between 5 - 7 pm. I sent a follow-up text thanking her for scheduling the viewing. She confirmed that she would phone my husband at 5:30 pm.

Made an appointment to see the three rooms offered in Chatsworth via Craigslist. Got there the next day, saw the rooms and agreed to rent one of them. Then the owner and her friend/boyfriend offered me to file the application on Trulia by paying the screening of course. After I filled the application and paid the $29 the house owner told me that they do not having a room actually, because all the 3 rooms tenants changed their minds and decided to stay. A clear scam thus. Probably working with that Trulia, getting people pay for the screening by offering fake, non existing property. Stay away, be aware!

I found out that Trulia didn’t steal my listing info but that it’s public and can be copied. However, their information is still misleading and misrepresented that is hurting sales of my house and they wouldn’t respond to email or messages to fix anything.
