Super coverage
Super has three subscription levels: Simple, Signature and Lux. All three plans offer base coverage of the following appliances and systems:
- Air conditioning system
- Heating system/heat pump
- Major kitchen appliances
- Interior electrical system
- Interior plumbing and plumbing stoppages
- Water heater
- Ceiling fans and central vacuum
- Garage door openers
Plans
Each plan differs in both the household items it covers and the coverage amounts:
- Simple covers six common home appliances and 10 systems.
- Signature covers everything in Simple, plus a kitchen refrigerator, washer and dryer. It also includes Super’s "It’s Covered" upgrade, which covers more parts of specific appliances and systems, like springs on your garage door and smoke detectors.
- Lux is Super’s highest-level plan, covering everything in Signature, plus gas fireplaces and fire pits, smart-home devices, and water softener and reverse osmosis systems. It also comes with enhanced plumbing coverage. Lux has higher coverage limits for appliances and some systems.
All of Super’s plans have a $30,000 aggregate annual limit.
Super cost
Super’s coverage costs vary depending on where you live, your home’s size and the amount of coverage you want. For example, at the time of publishing, you can expect to pay the following costs if you own a home in Texas that’s less than 5,000 square feet:
- Simple: $50 a month ($559 per year)
- Signature: $73 a month ($839 a year)
- Lux: $118 a month ($1,379 a year)
Super coverage exclusions
Super’s coverage includes only specifically named items and components. It's intended to cover the costs to repair or replace covered home systems and appliances when they fail from normal wear and tear.
Some of Super’s general exclusions include the following:
- Known defects that existed on or before your plan’s effective date
- Breakdowns due to improper use, acts of nature, missing equipment, lack of maintenance, pest damage or manufacturer defects
- Consumable parts, like bulbs, filters and batteries
You can learn more about Super’s exclusions by asking to see sample terms of coverage.
Super claims
You can submit a claim with Super either by contacting customer service, logging in online or using the company’s mobile app. With the app you can quickly submit claims, view account updates and receive notifications when a technician is on the way to your home.
Coverage limits
All three Super plans come with no limits on most systems, including air conditioning, heating and heat pumps, ductwork, interior plumbing and plumbing stoppages, central vacuum and garage door openers.
System coverage limits differ on water heaters, ceiling fans and interior electrical work.

Super FAQ
Is Super legit?
Super is a legitimate company providing home service plans in 15 regions across eight states. The company offers three plans with customizable levels of coverage, so most homeowners will be able to find a subscription that matches their needs. Super has been in business since 2015.
What is Super?
Super’s subscription-based home service contracts cover breakdowns of home appliances and systems. Super also helps homeowners access maintenance services through its Maintenance Marketplace. Super is based in San Francisco and refers to itself as an “insurtech” company.
How does Super work?
Once you purchase a Super subscription, your coverage begins in 15 days. If a covered appliance or system breaks down, you contact the company by phone or online to schedule service. You pay a fee of $75 to $95, and the company sends a licensed and insured technician to fix the item. If it can’t be repaired, Super pays for a replacement or writes you a check.
Super also has a Maintenance Marketplace you can use to schedule a variety of services. Pricing starts at $75. You can earn rewards toward the cost of services by referring others to Super.
Where is Super available?
As of publishing, Super is available in 34 states and Washington, D.C.
Does Super require a home inspection?
No, Super does not require a home inspection. However, customers have the option to submit a home inspection report to confirm that a preexisting condition was not previously detected.
What does Super's home warranty cover?
Super offers three plans with different levels of coverage, but all of its plans cover at least the following appliances and systems:
- Air conditioning system
- Heating system/heat pump
- Major kitchen appliances
- Interior electrical system
- Interior plumbing and plumbing stoppages
- Water heater
- Ceiling fans and central vacuum
- Garage door openers
Is there a waiting period for Super?
Super doesn’t cover any repairs until 15 days after you sign up for coverage. This waiting period is waived if you are signing up in conjunction with a real estate transaction within 15 days of the closing date.
Will a Super home warranty replace my AC?
All Super plans include coverage for air conditioning. Whether Super will replace your air conditioner depends on the specific circumstances. We recommend consulting the terms of your coverage for more information.

Just bought a home and Super warranty came with it. They called me a few days after my closing date with the welcome call and the lady was super nice and friendly and very knowledgeable about the super warranty. She told me that if I needed to contact her I could call her on the number that I received the call if I had any future questions or concerns. Little did I know from that welcome call. They also gave me a free key service through their warranty to re-key my home up to six keys and six locks, which is amazing! I’ve looked through their app. They have a maintenance calendar, which helps me stay up-to-date on things that I need to do to keep my house up and going well. I look forward to keeping super home warranty for the rest of my homeowning years. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I bought our first home earlier this year and purchased a home warranty through Super for peace of mind. 4 days ago, on a Saturday morning, our hot water heater broke, causing a crack in the ignition housing, rendering it unusable and leaving us without hot water. Our utility company labeled it as a “hazard.” We immediately filed a claim through Super, who assigned a local servicer. Unfortunately, it seems Super will not assign servicers on weekends, so we patiently waited until Monday. On Monday, we attempted to call the servicer- they were unreachable. On Tuesday, the servicer responded, saying they are out of town until August 8, 11 days from now (two weeks from our original claim date).!
Again, we immediately contacted Super, who said they would find a new servicer. Half the day goes by and the original servicer is still assigned on our app, so we call again to follow up. They say their contract team needs 24-48 hours to find a new servicer (we live in a massive metropolitan area, literally 10 miles from their headquarters). So, we are expected to wait another 1-2 days, and then hope the new servicer has immediate availability. Otherwise, it will be over a week before someone is even out to look at it!
My wife and I are both nurses; we work in the hospital. Hot showers and hot water for washing our scrubs are not a luxury- they are necessary. Super seems intent on delaying this as much as possible, likely to increase our frustration and force us to pay for this ourselves. They do not seem interested in helping honest, hard working people or providing the services that we PAID for. I strongly recommend you do not give your business to Super; we highly regret giving them ours.

I purchased a home warranty to reduce the stress and financial uncertainty of unexpected home repairs. Unfortunately, my experience with Super Home Warranty has been the exact opposite. Over the years, it seems that every service request is assigned to a different contractor, which has made me question the quality of the service providers in their network. This most recent HVAC claim has been the worst experience yet.
I filed my claim more than a month ago. It took nearly two weeks just to receive a service appointment. The day before the scheduled visit, Super Home Warranty sent both an email and a text message confirming that a technician would arrive the next day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We stayed home all day, and no one ever showed up.
When I called Super Home Warranty, I was told the contractor had supposedly tried to contact us when the appointment was initially created and, because they couldn’t reach us, the appointment was never confirmed. However, no one ever informed us that we needed to confirm anything with the contractor. In fact, Super Home Warranty sent us both an appointment confirmation and a reminder the day before the visit, leading us to believe everything was scheduled properly. Rather than taking responsibility for the confusion, they continued to repeat that the contractor had tried to contact us.
After finally getting a technician to diagnose the issue, I spent another two weeks acting as the middleman between Super Home Warranty and the HVAC company. One company claimed they were waiting for approval from the warranty company, while the warranty company insisted they were waiting on an estimate from the contractor. I made multiple phone calls to both companies trying to determine who actually had the next step. As the customer, I should never have had to coordinate communication between two companies that are supposed to be working together.
Nearly six weeks after filing my claim, I received a phone call just before the close of business informing me that the repair was not covered under my plan. Even more frustrating, the online claim portal provides only a generic message stating that the service request is not covered. It does not explain what diagnosis was submitted, what specific repair was denied, or what provision of my warranty excludes the repair.
The technician left me with a written diagnosis, but Super Home Warranty has never provided enough information for me to compare that diagnosis against my policy to understand why the claim was denied. Simply saying, “This issue isn’t covered by your current plan,” is not an adequate explanation for a claim that took six weeks to process.
At this point, my biggest frustration isn’t even the denial itself—it’s the lack of communication, transparency, accountability, and customer service throughout the entire process. I have paid monthly premiums, a $100 service fee, and invested countless hours making phone calls, only to be left with more questions than answers. A home warranty should simplify the repair process. Instead, this experience created far more stress than if I had simply hired a local HVAC company myself.

Purchased the LUX Plan ($1,399/year) for my home in Cary, NC. My GE Profile built-in oven/microwave failed. Super's technician attempted two repairs with original GE OEM parts - both failed. Super then misrepresented two separate contract provisions (the service guarantee period and the second opinion process), reversing both only after I cited the actual contract language. They offered $450, then $250, to fix a unit that costs $3,499-$5,299 to replace. At Super's request, I arranged a factory-certified GE diagnostic through Bodewell. The GE technician confirmed both components had already been replaced and failed, and said replacement is the only reliable solution. Super committed in writing to issue a determination within 2 business days. As of today, over a week later, they have not responded. Three deadlines missed total. I have filed complaints with the NC Attorney General and BBB.

I officially moved into the property on Friday, May 15, 2026. Shortly afterward, I discovered that the AC system was not cooling during an active multi-day heatwave, with indoor temperatures reaching approximately 96 degrees. I promptly opened a claim through the home warranty company, Super, on Monday after discovering the issue.
Since then, I have experienced significant delays, poor communication, and a denial of coverage despite the circumstances and timing of the failure. The assigned contractor, Lindsay Heating and Cooling LLC, failed to arrive during the scheduled service window , Wednesday, May 20 between 8am- 12 pm, and ultimately did not arrive until approximately 8:15 PM after I spent the entire day waiting under unsafe heat conditions. After briefly accessing the rooftop condenser area, the technician advised that the system could not be serviced that same evening, leaving me without any meaningful resolution.
Super has since denied coverage, citing that the unit was completely low on refrigerant and likely contains a significant leak within the sealed system. However, the HVAC system is a 2019 R-410A system, and the home inspection report did not identify, disclose, or reference any refrigerant leak, sealed-system issue, or indication that the HVAC system was not functioning properly at the time of inspection.
Additionally, Super’s own Buyer Coverage language states that unknown pre-existing defects may be covered if: the defect was unknown, not caused by the current homeowner, and would not have been detectable during a standard home inspection or simple mechanical test. At no point prior to occupancy was I aware of any refrigerant leak or sealed-system defect. Given the immediate timing following closing and occupancy, along with the contractor’s determination that the system was completely low on refrigerant and likely leaking over time, I believe this matter warrants further review and escalation. This is my first home. I am extremely disappointed in both the customer service handling and denial determination, given the timing immediately following closing and occupancy.

Hello Brittany, I understand your concerns regarding the coverage decision and timing of the failure. The technician confirmed the HVAC system was completely empty of refrigerant and observed oil staining consistent with a refrigerant leak. Based on the technician findings, visible condition, and the claim being filed 3 days after coverage began, Super determined the condition existed prior to the policy start date and is not eligible for coverage under the plan as a pre-existing condition.

I had been a HomeServe home warranty customer for many years. A few years ago, my service agreement was transferred to Super Home Warranty because HomeServe no longer offered the home warranty in my area. I recently had a situation where my dryer was making a loud screeching noise. I filed a claim and Super sent out a technician that fixed the screeching noise. After fixing the screeching noise the dryer immediately starting making a thumping noise. I asked the technician why I now had a new noise after he just fixed the screeching noise and he simply stated the dryer was old and there was nothing further he could do.
I reported the situation to Super and requested they send a technician from another company out. The new technician informed me there was something bent inside the dryer that he straightened out. That got rid of the thumping noise but the technician said the noise would probably come back in a few days – which it did. I then contacted Super again and they sent the same technician out who stated the problem was now unrepairable and that the dryer needed to be replaced. Super refused to replace the dryer and after escalating to the problem to a manager, informed me there was some stipulation in the service contract that stated the noise problem was not covered under their plan. So now I’m stuck with a dryer that makes noise that happened after a Super technician repaired the dryer and I will have to replace the dryer at my expense.
I immediately cancelled my service agreement with Super Home Warranty as this type of response is unacceptable. The company refused to take responsibility for a problem caused by their technician and now I end up having to pay for their technician’s mistake in creating a new noise problem after the initial repair? Unbelievable! My recommendation is to steer clear from using Super Home Warranty as your home warranty company! It will end up being a waste of your time and money and you will be dealing with customer service folks that are not willing to accommodate you has a customer.

Three months after closing on our first home, our dishwasher console failed. Super's technician confirmed the diagnosis: mechanical failure. My plan covers all mechanical components and parts of the dishwasher. Console failure isn't on the exclusions list. Then came the denial email. I'm quoting it exactly: "After careful review, we have found that the breakdown is unfortunately not due to pest damage and is not covered by your policy." The sole exclusion cited: "Pest or pet damage."
Super told me in writing the failure is not due to pest damage — then denied my claim for pest damage. I have the email. We completed a professional pest inspection before closing and paid $299 for a seal-up after closing. And as a Buyer's Coverage holder, my contract explicitly covers unknown pre-existing conditions not detectable at closing. Super's own denial email confirms the dishwasher was working at closing.
Super's technician also damaged our hardwood floors during the visit. I submitted a repair estimate of $723.67. No response. On March 25, I sent a formal written demand CC'd to the Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection and the Maryland Insurance Administration. The county responded within 24 hours. As of April 15 — 14 business days later — Super has not responded at all. I am now pursuing AAA arbitration, small claims court for the floor damage, and formal regulatory complaints. Their own email proves the denial is invalid. They just don't care.

If I could rate them lower I would. We had our ice-maker stop working August 26, 2025. It was finally replaced and working on November 14, 2025. It was nothing but a headache. It stopped working in March 2026, the same parts they replaced are bad again. THEY WILL NOT RE-ORDER THE PARTS THAT ARE COVERED BY WARRANTY. The company that supplied the parts will only work with the warranty company. Understand we are not asking them to provide service, simply to get the parts replaced that would cost them no money! And to add to frustartion I am unable to talk to anyone other than a customer service rep. Apparently they have no managers or supervisors working. Well, at least that is what I have been told. STAY AWAY!!!

Hello Marty,
I understand your frustration. The repair completed on or around November 18, 2025 is covered under a 30-day workmanship warranty. The concern you reported in March 2026 falls outside that warranty period. Additionally, your policy was cancelled at your request on February 26, 2026 and is no longer active. Because the repair is outside the warranty period and the policy is inactive, we are unable to open a new claim for this matter.

Been a customer for 5 years, and my experience has gone from bad to worse. Every service request takes weeks for a response. For carpet cleaning, they sent the same restoration company I had complained about before—despite my prior negative review. When I called to request a different vendor, I was told I had no other option. That company charged extra and left my home in a mess: carpets soaked and hardwood floors wet.
Furnace maintenance? No one showed up for over a month. Dishwasher repair? The vendor canceled twice, claiming their truck broke down. When they finally arrived, they blamed me for the issue and left without fixing anything. Microwave repair was even worse. The company missed the appointment and asked for pictures instead. I sent photos and a video, but Super offered only $280 toward replacing a JennAir unit worth about $1,250.
When I raised concerns, they canceled my account and refunded $181—even though my plan renewed in September for $1,079 and was canceled in December. Calling for clarification was a nightmare: I was transferred through multiple departments, and the call dropped while waiting for the fourth person. Bottom line: Poor service, lack of accountability, and inadequate compensation. I would not recommend this company.

The lack of follow through and urgency on something as essential as heating has been extremely disappointing. An approved claim is meaningless if the service is never completed. I’ve been a Super customer for three years. While the first year was exceptional, the last two have been completely disappointing. They repeatedly failed to fix issues, my disposal broke every few months, and after multiple unsuccessful visits from their technicians, I finally had to hire a plumbing service to replace it myself.
Most recently, my 90-year-old mother has been left without a working toilet for more than two weeks. Super keeps promising that the issue is being escalated and will be resolved, but nothing has happened. Their technicians come out, leave without fixing anything, and insist a bid must be approved before any work can begin, even when it's an urgent, basic need. I will not be renewing my annual service. This company has gone from reliable to the absolute worst.

After locating your account, I deeply regret the repeated disposal issues and understand how frustrating they’ve been. We’re glad the recent plumbing issue has now been resolved. Updated on 11/11/2025: They still have not response to the advocate email address they supplied. Super is a poor choice for a home warranty. $133 a month and denies when you try to cover a normal repair item covered under the contract.
Original Review: Super Home Warranty Company will do everything to deny claims. As you can see here in reviews, most of their responses are lip service with ZERO resolution. Their third-party contractors will, when arriving to access your issue, spend very little time accessing your issue. Super representatives will look for any wormhole pertaining to their contracts to deny irregularities. My recent request for service resulted in a technician arriving to spend 4 minutes and 32 seconds diagnosing the issue. The pool filter housing cracked causing water to be pumped out of my pool. This filter housing in Arizona is covered but the heat can take its toll. This claim definitely falls in the guidelines of normal wear and tear. The technician diagnosed in the under five minutes, my system had high pressure. Impossible!! How could you without being able to power the system. (I replaced the new filter lid out of pocket, and system does not have high pressure and works perfectly).
More than once I have repaired a denied claim with the repair/parts that fell within the coverage guidelines. Not once did the technician ask me any information or service done on a routine basis. Yet, informed Super of their misdiagnosis!! Denied!! I’ve asked to escalate this to a customer retention representative with more lip service. Additionally, my neighbor have canceled their contract with Super due to denied claims, poor customer service and mediocre technical support to repair issues. Super Home Warranty will lose my business along with others who figure out they are like ALL third-party warranty companies. I’m sure on the Monday morning department head calls the discussion includes money saved in claim denials!! As one of the most expensive home warranty companies, save your money and put what you're paying into a savings account for future maintenance item repairs.

Project timelines are absurdly slow. Days turn into weeks with no clear next steps or urgency, even for urgent repairs. Accountability is lacking. No one takes ownership of the issue. I’ve been bounced around, put on hold, and given conflicting information. It feels like their strategy is to delay, frustrate, and wear you down until you give up. I expected professionalism and at least a functional service flow—this was far from that. If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

We deeply regret the experience you’ve had with us. What you described—poor communication, long delays, and lack of accountability—is unacceptable and far from the standard we promise our customers. We know how stressful and frustrating this must have been, and we take full responsibility for falling short. Your feedback is a clear reminder that we must do better, and we are committed to making the necessary changes to earn back the trust we’ve lost.

After two years of being with them. I needed work done. Contractor never showed up. Waited three weeks and still no show. And when I asked for someone else to do the job, they said I should speak to the current one at least one time before they switch to different one. I just needed someone to do the job and they failed.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you’ve had. Waiting weeks without resolution and not having a contractor follow through is understandably very frustrating, and we regret that this fell short of the service you expected and deserve.
Please send your information to advocates@hellosuper.com so we can your address your issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us — it helps us improve and provide the level of service our customers can rely on.

If I could post zero stars, I would. I got a warranty through this company as the result of a home I purchased. (It was purchased by the seller.) I received an email that I needed to activate the account via online registration. They ask for a credit card. (Which I found very odd.) They then billed me for the full amount of the already paid for warranty. So, I had to make a ton of phone calls to get that reversed, but apparently the "Paid for" warranty cannot be used until I give them my credit card number again. So, I guess I don't have the warranty since I'm not willing to give them access to it again. Finally, this warranty company is affiliated to many other companies and gives your contact info to all of them. You will get endless calls from affiliated companies trying to sell you water treatment products, etc. My advice, do your research and perhaps make a better choice.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must’ve been. Activation helps confirm your coverage, and we never intend to charge for seller-paid plans. We also don’t share or sell customer information. Please feel free to reach out to advocates@hellosuper.com so we can take a closer look and help make things right.

I have had a significantly negative experience with this home warranty company and would advise potential customers to consider other options. My experience has been characterized by claim denials based on interpretations of the policy that I found unreasonable. Furthermore, the time required to schedule service appointments after submitting a request was excessive. The quality of service provided by the assigned technicians was inconsistent and, in some instances, raised concerns about their professional qualifications.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience. While commercial-grade HVAC systems fall outside the scope of our residential warranty, we regret any confusion this may have caused. Your feedback is important, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience. Thank you for being a Super subscriber

By far the worst warranty company on the market. They will do anything they can to deny your claim even if you request a second opinion and the second opinion tells Super they are wrong, they will still deny your claim just so they don’t have to pay for anything. If I could give them no stars I would.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must have been. We strive to make fair and accurate decisions based on the terms of our service agreement, and we regret if our resolution did not meet your expectations. Your feedback is important to us, and we’d like the opportunity to take a closer look into your situation. Purchased the Lux Cover, highest level of coverage at $2,400/year and recently had to repair or replace a microwave. Went through numerous calls to get my claim resolved, and after nearly a month took a cash out option to replace the appliance. Over time have been told that the new microwave will be installed by Super designated technician, but when called to schedule this service found there is additional approval needed since it is not an option with cash out. Must add that cash out doesn't cover any third party installation service. I purchased this coverage to have peace of mind and reasonable service when needed, big mistake! Absolutely not worth the money or time.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration you experienced. At Super, we’re committed to exceptional service and regret that your recent experience fell short. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re taking steps to address and prevent this issue. I am from Texas. There are two main reasons why I am an unsatisfied customer and why I will not recommend SUPER to anyone:
1. For nearly every claim, SUPER appears to make every effort to find a clause to deny it. Over the past three years since 2022, there have been at least four instances where SUPER initially attempted not to provide any coverage. In two of these cases, coverage was eventually granted—but only after extensive back-and-forth. In the other two cases, I had to pay out of pocket for the repairs. They will change the reason for denial as soon as you contradict them with evidence, which I found unethical.
2. SUPER follows a multi-day process that involves first sending a technician, then reviewing the claim, followed by an attempt to deny it, and only then resolving the issue if the denial does not stand. For most repairs, this process takes at least five days from the time of reporting—and sometimes more than two weeks—due to various delays. For essential repairs, this kind of waiting period is not just inconvenient; it's often unacceptable. While delays in receiving ordered parts are understandable, in most cases the time is lost in lengthy reviews and denial attempts.
I will make these reviews public and I hope SUPER will have more ethical and transparent practice going forward. I would not have given them a single star. Please do not use them.

Thank you for your feedback and I’m sorry for the frustration caused. We understand your concerns with claim delays and denials, and we’re working to improve our process. Your experience matters, and we’re reviewing your case to ensure any unresolved issues are addressed. I’ll follow up via email so we can connect directly and work toward a resolution. We appreciate your patience and hope to restore your trust in Super.

⭐ 1 Star. Absolutely Horrible Experience – Do NOT Trust Super Home Warranty. As a real estate professional, I regret ever recommending Super Home Warranty. I’ve spent two months trying to get my HVAC system fixed and instead endured delays, miscommunication, and blatant negligence. It started with a blown capacitor. The first technician sent by Super blew the fuse, and instead of taking responsibility, they made me open multiple new claims, pay out of pocket, and repeat my situation to every rep—none of whom seemed to understand or document anything properly.
I paid for Unlimited Coverage, yet every step was denied or delayed. On April 3, they denied my claim due to a so-called “known defect”—even though the damage was caused by THEIR technician. By April 7, with temperatures rising, I had to pay $7,000 to replace the unit myself. Not once did Super offer a real solution. To make it worse, they couldn’t even keep the claims straight—telling me sometimes it was the upstairs unit, other times downstairs, and even suggested BOTH units had issues (false). It was always the upstairs unit, and I made that clear from the start.
Their customer service is completely disorganized and unaccountable. I’ve sent four emails over three weeks, and received no real action or support. This company is a scam hiding behind a shiny website and fancy words like "unlimited". I’ve reviewed dozens of similar horror stories on BBB and now see a clear pattern of incompetence and denial. Homeowners, BEWARE. I will never use, refer, or trust Super again. They failed me, and they will fail you too.

Super is unfair in their contracting and will do all they can to limit any payments. Most recently an electrical issue occurred and the technician came to our home twice for the same concern within two weeks and super charged us twice even though the second time we had a complete power outage. This has not happened in the past with previous recalls and they unwilling to work with us or compromise at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I sincerely apologize that you've been met with a less-than-desirable claims experience. Someone from my team has reached out to move this forward with you and has address your concerns.

I was with Nations warranty company for 10+ years with good experience before Super acquired them. My experience with Super has not been good at all. Opened a ticket for our Heater not working. Technician comes and tells that given the age of furnace it will need to be replaced unless we can find part (blower motor). Super's review department takes over one week to decide and place an order to buy the motor off Amazon which took one week to come and then after 3 days technician comes to put the motor and finds out it's a wrong motor. Meanwhile weather is below freezing and snow outside. It has been 3 weeks+ with no fix and I just spoke to a manager and his response was we are still looking for the motor and can't provide any timeline. Basically they do not want to do the right thing which is to replace the furnace instead of trying to find the part for a 24+ year old system.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As the customer experience is our top priority, we sincerely apologize for any frustration that has been experienced so far. Upon reviewing your claim, our procurement team (having communicated with the servicer) the the part has been ordered and the Service Provider will be contacting you directly with direction moving forward. Once again we sincerely apologize for the delays, and that you for being a Super subscriber.

Communication is difficult when I am talking to someone with not real good English and they talk too fast. I can't understand them. Their app does not detail enough on the problem and left me confused. Sara is trying to help me. Nice lady. I really don't know where I am at this point. They have helped me really great before but not this time. I just hope I can get the disposal issue taken care of soon. Thank you.

Horrible company, we had no choice to go to Super, our previous home warranty company was bought out by them. We called Dec 23 at 7:30 am, it was 59 in our house, my husband called again later that day and was told calls are returned in 24 hours. The next day the call never came, he called them. We were still not given a service date, but told there are not many providers in our area (why weren’t we told this when they took over our plan?) I always thought a house without heat in cold weather was an emergency situation?!
I finally got a call later in the day telling me there is no one that can come out, and we will have to get someone ourselves and they will reimburse us after they approve the repairs!! We have a warranty because we can’t afford to put out the money for expensive repairs! After my husband called again the rep told him he didn't know about us getting back the 75.00 we already paid them for no service and all the months paying for not even having providers in the area we live. This is an absolute horrible company with even worse customer service.

We did not have our AC unit working throughout this summer, and HelloSuper failed to fix the problem. We had to go through the heat wave in California this year (2024) and Super did nothing to help. They only procrastinated and sent technicians multiple times without addressing the problem. The funny thing is that the unit was checked by Super right before Summer. Horrible company, a total scam, stay out from them.

I apologize for the frustration experienced and rest assured we have been working diligently throughout your claim to ensure we have handled this matter promptly and within the terms of your home warranty policy.
Per our records, subsequent to your appointment on August 7, 2024, you were advised of the diagnosis and coverage decision via phone on Aug 9, 2024. You were given an option to proceed with the repair or to choose the cash out option - we show that you elected to go with a cash out and this was received on August 26.
if you have additional information pertaining to the diagnosis and claim history, we will happily review this, to ensure we have the full picture.

I’m very frustrated with the service I’m actually not getting from these contractors they have. $95 service fee. First, with my refrigerator, the technician never called or emailed me. I had to call to hear that I needed to defrost. The one that took my trust from them and surely will not recommend is the plumbing. My garbage disposal stopped working. Two no show appointments and the company E&S Plumbing keeps saying they came and no one’s home. They claimed to call and I never received any call or text to say they have arrived. I’m now waiting for the so called picture of my door they took when they came. No email as yet. I can find my own handyman and pay less. Super, I have been paying on time every month, now I need you to pay up and provide the service your customers deserve.

we would be more than happy to review your concerns

I could do that and then would have to wait another 30 days to be active, it would then be considered a Pre-Existing. I had no choice to pay $900 to get hot water or I would not be covered by Super Home Warranty.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration and delays experienced so far, and acknowledge that the outcome is not perhaps one that is desired, but we sincerely hope this helps to clarify. Per the terms & conditions modifications, permits, code requirements, and equipment disposal require a separate coverage addon, which is not included in your current plan. Our goal is to ensure clarity and transparency in our interactions. We have reached out to the Servicer Provider asking for updates and availability for the install of the water heater. Again, we want to apologize for the frustration experienced.

I absolutely cannot conceive of anyone giving this company more than 1 star, much less 5 stars. My experience has been a victim of a scam. I was changed from another warranty company to Super without my knowledge. When I requested service on my hvac system, a service tech came fairly soon, then pronounced it repairable & needing to be replaced. He left & I couldn't get any human at Super to talk to me at all about anything. The only phone #'s I could find were recordings telling me to go to the website where I found no information.
After a week of no a/c in Texas, I found a page stating my claim was denied because the service I requested was "not covered." No other explanation. No person to contact. No way to reach any human person at Super. I sent 2 or 3 emails asking for information, then just sent one more to cancel the policy. I am a senior citizen and cannot survive here without a/c or heat. I'm currently researching other warranty companies, but I am still now left with no hvac in Texas heat - and no way to pay for a new system as I have to live on social security benefits. I don't know who actually got 5 star service, or why, but my next review of these unreachables is going to the BBB.
