I’m very frustrated with the service I’m actually not getting from these contractors they have. $95 service fee. First, with my refrigerator, the technician never called or emailed me. I had to call to hear that I needed to defrost. The one that took my trust from them and surely will not recommend is the plumbing. My garbage disposal stopped working. Two no show appointments and the company E&S Plumbing keeps saying they came and no one’s home. They claimed to call and I never received any call or text to say they have arrived. I’m now waiting for the so called picture of my door they took when they came. No email as yet. I can find my own handyman and pay less. Super, I have been paying on time every month, now I need you to pay up and provide the service your customers deserve.

I could do that and then would have to wait another 30 days to be active, it would then be considered a Pre-Existing. I had no choice to pay $900 to get hot water or I would not be covered by Super Home Warranty.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration and delays experienced so far, and acknowledge that the outcome is not perhaps one that is desired, but we sincerely hope this helps to clarify. Per the terms & conditions modifications, permits, code requirements, and equipment disposal require a separate coverage addon, which is not included in your current plan. Our goal is to ensure clarity and transparency in our interactions. We have reached out to the Servicer Provider asking for updates and availability for the install of the water heater. Again, we want to apologize for the frustration experienced.

I absolutely cannot conceive of anyone giving this company more than 1 star, much less 5 stars. My experience has been a victim of a scam. I was changed from another warranty company to Super without my knowledge. When I requested service on my hvac system, a service tech came fairly soon, then pronounced it repairable & needing to be replaced. He left & I couldn't get any human at Super to talk to me at all about anything. The only phone #'s I could find were recordings telling me to go to the website where I found no information.
After a week of no a/c in Texas, I found a page stating my claim was denied because the service I requested was "not covered." No other explanation. No person to contact. No way to reach any human person at Super. I sent 2 or 3 emails asking for information, then just sent one more to cancel the policy. I am a senior citizen and cannot survive here without a/c or heat. I'm currently researching other warranty companies, but I am still now left with no hvac in Texas heat - and no way to pay for a new system as I have to live on social security benefits. I don't know who actually got 5 star service, or why, but my next review of these unreachables is going to the BBB.

I highly recommend Super. I feel comfortable and protected. Using the online app is too easy. I got a notification telling me who was coming in and what time. The service provided by the contractor was seamless. They told me what the issue was, that they would have to put the claim in through Super and they would let me know when they would come back to fix it.

When I signed up with them, it went fine. Their service has been great so far. My recent claim was for a garage door opener. The claims process was fine. Even when there was a delay getting the technician out, I called and they made sure that things got back on track very quickly. Once the techs reached out, everything went great. The techs were quick to respond and they kept me in the loop of how things were going. Having Super definitely helped with the repair cost, and I like having them as the intermediary to deal with the contracting company versus having to find someone myself.

Service started really great especially after COVID. They took care of everything. Then, it became a flight with them to get quality servicers at a certain at certain times and getting them to replace HVAC units instead of trying to repair them for a second or third time. Around '21, it became, "Okay, we'll book a servicer for you. But as soon as it's booked, it's now between you and the servicer from there on out. But recently, things have been better again. Some small plumbing stuff and we needed an exterminator a few weeks ago and we booked one through them through the marketplace. Those experiences have all been very easy and everything has been taken care of in a timely manner. Super since we're paying our $700-ish a year to offset that cost and it's just the smaller co-pay typically that we have to pay and maybe 5 to 10% if it's a big job of out of pocket costs for some things compared to having to pay for the whole job itself.

The service with Super this year is kind of frustrating. It took a while for action to be implemented for our issues. We had an issue with our washer, which took over a month and a half to resolve. It was frustrating not to have a washer for a month and a half. There was something with their technician. He came out and tried to fix it, and said he fixed it, but he didn't fix it. He lied, which caused more issues. They had to hire another technician to come out, which resolved our issue, saying he couldn't fix it. So, then they had to take note of him to process the claim of processing our cash-out to get a new washer. We did not have to pay out of pocket for anything. They were able to give us a gift card to Home Depot. It also covered the cost of installment.
We do benefit from Super. I just wish they would fix the external contractors that they contract in and have more reliable contractors. The Super customer service is very helpful and they were really accommodating when we were having these issues and they were trying to expedite their approval process. So, that was nice of them.

Super is pretty good. My husband does the claims online and we get confirmations via email. The website is pretty easy to use. Within 48-72 hours, the home warranty always sends someone and they always fix issues with a microwave, laundry, washer machine, or AC. They always solved the issue. We've called them a number of times now. The only complaint I would is they don't have the service for the next day. Most of the other warranties wouldn't have either. Also, we've been with the warranty for four years and their price has increased over time.
Other than that, I like Super Home. It's very convenient and it always solves the issue. They send people who are capable and competent. We had a claim for our washer and Super Home gave us the money to purchase another one. They actually gave us other options as well such as them buying one. We chose to purchase our own and they gave us a check.

Super had been fine up until one of the last times they came over to do my water heater. They sent out a company to come do the water heater. He said right from the get-go to take out the copper pipe. It was gonna be like $150 out of pocket, and I was like, “Okay. That's fine.” Usually, Super will send me a separate bill and charge me the out-of-pocket cost. So, they got with Super. Super sent me a bill for the out-of-pocket charge. I paid for it through the Super app. Then once the guy got finished with my water heater, he wanted me to pay him the out-of-pocket charge to him. I was like, “Wait. I just paid it to Super.” He was confused. I was confused why this man wanted me to pay him $150 cash when I had just paid it to Super. It was a big mess.
I had to go back and forth with Super for a while. We called the water heater company, talked to someone there, and then they talked with Super. They ended up resolving it themselves because I wasn't gonna pay twice for the same thing. That was the first time I've experienced something like that. I was super confused. My water heater got fixed. So, at the end of the day, everything ended up being resolved and I didn't have to pay anymore.

We're first-time home buyers and having Super has been convenient. It's a one-stop shop for coordinating home repairs. We primarily schedule things by the phone system. They've always been extremely helpful. Generally, it's been a very positive experience with a few exceptions of things that were either not covered or not covered fast enough or completely enough. The coverage has not always been as good as we hoped, but the staff has always been excellent and very helpful.

Super Home does what they say they're gonna do. I haven't had any problems with them, and they honored all the warranty work that needed to be done. For my plumbing claim, they replaced a sump pump that went bad. It went very smoothly. The techs seemed to be very competent. The cost seemed to be reasonable too.

Super has good customer service and they're very helpful. The claim experience has been cool. The turnaround time is usually the next day -- unless it's a weekend, then it's the next day they're open. If I submit the claim online, they send the email the next day, if not the same day of my appointment time. I would recommend them.

The service has been good. I had a refrigerator replaced two or three years ago. It was a high-end one and they gave me the full value, which was nice. The process was long and they double-checked it three times. But that was like 10 grand, so it was understandable. I've also paid out of pocket here and there but for the most part, they've covered the repairs and it's all been pretty clear. I wasn't surprised by anything.

When I had a problem with my AC, somebody came out and said, “Oh, I have to go pick up the part. It's under warranty.” I had to wait three weeks. I had to call Super every day almost for a follow-up. I also had a claim for the ceiling fan and I was told that it was not covered. The tech charged $85 and said, “As long as the fan is going, then it’s okay.” I told him that the light is a fixture in the ceiling fan. But he said, “No. We don't cover that.” So I called up Super to double-check and they said they covered that. The same people came back out. I was sent pictures online of fans to choose one. They were so chintzy that it was a good thing that I was able to put my glass fixture on to their plastic junky ones. So, that wasn't too good of an experience.
My husband who had surgery done is uncomfortable and tossing and turning. I could not get to talk to anybody except these Super people who have something written in front of them to tell their clients. They would say, “Oh, yeah. We understand. We're so sorry. I'll look into it.” But then you don't hear back from them. To take three weeks, and I was the one who had to keep calling and following up, was beyond.

I would never purchase a warranty from Super again. They refused to finish a job they started. Promised to call me back and never did. Promised to schedule a service appointment and never did. Months of giving me the run-around. Buy your warranty somewhere else, anywhere else.

Repair man was courteous and completed the repair within a reasonable time frame. *I resent the fact that I am charged $100 extra on my plan because of type of Freon my unit uses even when I don’t Freon added every year. I feel that should be taken into consideration at policy renewal.

The contractors are usually very punctual. They are always knowledgeable and are able to diagnose the issue immediately. If they have the part it always gets fixed on the spot. Twice, a part needed to be ordered so it took a second visit. Superb work! I will continue to work with and recommend Super to my clients, friends, and colleagues!

We have been using Super for more than 7 years and have had many good experiences with repairs and maintenance. Super helped replace our water heater a few years ago and just replaced our sump pump last month. Super also helps us with routine maintenance, like our furnaces and air conditioner but you need to watch the open and close date for those services!

Every time I've used Super, it's been quick to get a repair, and it's convenient to use the portal. We're keeping it for now because it's been a fairly responsive service as far as home warranty goes. My AC went out at the peak of the summer. They got us somebody to come out in a day or so to fix it. I've been happy with the service so far. If someone was looking for a home warranty, I would recommend Super.

Our AC unit has been out of service almost 40 days since August 17 with majority of that time above 100 degrees. We have paid over $1000 to Super Home and their representatives in the last 30 days of additional fees. After giving us a run around for over 3 weeks and having my family with two small children suffer they are now saying they won't pay for repair since they don't know what is the problem and since they don't know it cannot be wear and tear. So they want another $1800. Company rep Alicia promised to send us information but has not done it.
We have initiated a case with Better Business Bureau, local media companies in the Dallas market and have sent a letter to city, local and state consumer protection agencies. Super Home is being served by a certified letter as well for gross breach of their duties (postal service tracking number **). I certainly hope my family gets picked to be on TV and talk about this company because their business practices are unethical.

For the most part, I like Super Home. It's been an easy home warranty to work with, and they offer more than the average home warranty. I have whole house coverage, and I have an extra kitchen in the basement, so we had additional appliances. The application process was easy. I just got online and paid for it.

When submitting a claim, it's all on an app. It's easy. I can even take pictures and upload. I can call if I have any questions. They usually have somebody out. They send me who has picked up their claim. I can look them up and see how they're rated. I had one that didn't show up, so when they picked it up again, I called Super Home. I said, “I don't ever want him ‘cause they didn't show up and didn't call me. I waited around. I took off work.” They gave me who I wanted that I had used before. I like the first company that came out for my refrigerator. They were quick. It's one of the best appliance repair I've ever dealt with so I request them each time.
I've had AC claims too. I was not impressed with the first technician that came. They said, “Your warranty coverage is not gonna replace this." I told them I have a rider on my policy, so I already knew they would take care of my AC. The second one that came out spent 10 minutes. He said, "It's cooling. It's just ‘cause it's 110 degrees out.” He also looked and said, “Your capacitors are very rusted and would probably go out any time. I'm replacing them and putting it in that your capacitors are bad." He didn't add anything or try to talk me into anything.
I’ve renewed Super Home twice. It was cheaper to get it the first year. On the second year they were able to get it down. It stayed the same this next year. I have an extra $100 rider on it for my air conditioner. Last year, they saved me $2,700. They replaced my dryer, the part for my washing machine, which the appliance guy said, “This is one of the best. It's not a brand new one, but it's a good one.” They got the motherboard rebuilt. He replaced all the seals so it's like I got a brand-new washing machine. My refrigerator had both the fans go out, the one in the freezer ones at different times, all in one year. They sent me $2,700. I highly recommend them.

It was a little bit of a snafu because we had to have the application done. And as part of the paperwork was a contingency for the closing of the house we bought. We had to create an account, but then the paperwork wasn't coming through. And so, we had to create a new account and they cancelled the old policy. It ended up getting to the right outcome but it was painful. Other than that, we used their team to have somebody inspect our air conditioning and the techs did a good job.

I've been satisfied with their service. They've been very nice, courteous and responsive. They're very good about calling me back and letting me know that it's still being looked into and to be patient. I've heard some horror stories regarding some of these home insurance companies. But that was not my experience.

I have used Super a few times, and I've been very pleased with it. When I had a gas leak at my house, Atmos came and turned off my gas. The next morning, my refrigerator went out unbeknownst to me, and I walked through my kitchen in water where the ice had melted. I made a call and Super sent a repairman out and found out it was my compressor. Then they gave me money to replace my refrigerator. I put a little more with it than what they gave me because they matched my unit. But I like the water and ice on the outside of the unit, so I paid a little bit more than what they gave me, but I'm very pleased with them.
When they turned the gas back on, my tankless hot water heater would not relight. The gentleman that came was very nice. I had to call them back again and they're waiting for a part to come and repair that. So I've not had any bad dealings with Super. They've taken care of me greatly. I've not had any person who came out that I didn't feel comfortable with. For what I pay, it's well worth it.
My son-in-law started this policy for me and when he passed away, I didn't know anything about it. So when we found this paperwork, I called Super and talked to Kim. She was a godsend because I had no idea what my son-in-law had done. She said, “Well, you're a few days out of the time period, but we're gonna waive that.” So she let me renew it. She was very kind. Super has been nothing but nice to me. Any time I call, they're right there, Johnny-on-the-spot.

Super is always quick and efficient in finding quality companies to perform repairs. We had an AC issue during hot Arizona summer days so quick service was a must- and Super delivered! The AC company that came to our home was on time and provided great customer care and service; including quickly finding and installing a broken AC part.

I needed A/C repair and contacted Super. Service company So Cool Solutions was sent out to my property. I do not occupy the property. It is occupied by a tenant so I had to make special trips to the residence. They initially refilled the coolant and charged the compressor stating that the tubing was loose. This did not fix the problem. I called a second time requesting service because the system reverted back to not cooling. Both times I paid the required service fee of $95. A 3rd visit was required and at this time they looked at the interior unit and diagnosed a leak in the coil stating that they initially thought it was the outdoor unit. The repair required a replacement of the coil and once this was presented to Super you refused to pay.
I received a call from Patrick in the claim approvals department stating that this was a pre-existing condition and that Super was denying the claim. He had no substantial evidence to this effect and when I asked the service provider when and how this leak started they said it is hard to tell. They could not pinpoint a date. I have to mention that Patrick's customer service skills have a lot to be desired. He was curt, abrupt and aggressive in his tone. I called back to speak with Patrick further on this issue and got Anish on the phone who was unknowledgeable and unable to help in any way. I asked to speak with Patrick initially and then a manager and was told he was unable to transfer me. He said he was a leaving a message for someone to call me back and that was 10 days ago and I am still waiting for that call.
I called a 3rd time and spoke with Larry who was somewhat helpful by forwarding my appeal to his manager. However, the outcome was the same. Denied. It appears to me that Super didn't want to pay the costly claim and looked for ways to escape responsibility. As to reason number 1 why no one in management returned my call when requested. It should not have taken 3 visits before this issue was diagnosed. If Super feels that this was a pre-existing condition then that should have been determined on the 1st or 2nd visit given that Patrick stated existing leaks require large quantities of Freon, my system was not empty of freon by the way.
The curt responses I received from Payrick and Anish were unprofessional and unnecessary. I expect better customer service from Super when handling claims such as mine. This does not sit well with me and I will be writing reviews of the company on public sites and contacting the Better Business Bureau in reference to how Super handles its customers.

In the last 3 years Super has been a Super choice for our home purchase. We have had work done on our stove, ice maker, AC, electric, toilets, and hot water heater. Service techs have been timely, friendly and seem to enjoy working with them. Our septic add -on service was my only difficulty since there were not any providers in my area. I had to find someone on my own, but they did cover the cost to repair. I find it to be of good value and the claim process via the app is very user-friendly.
