Bought the Samsung dishwasher Oct. 2011. Major prob. with some clips breaking off and getting stuck, 2 repair visits. Then stop working again. Next repair person said needs new motor and easier to replace whole dishwasher. Of course, out of warranty time, period. Refuse to purchase anything from Samsung again. At same time, I purchased the fridge and range and now fridge is having issues.

I bought this dishwasher because it was recommended in the press as a good product. My experience with a Samsung dishwasher is nothing but problems. The dishwasher will not clean the dishes properly even after you rinse them down to start. I have had to replace the pump on this dishwasher twice and the service charge is around 200 dollars a visit. This is over a 28 month period. My advice to anyone wishing to buy a Samsung dishwasher should look at another product and leave this one alone.

I purchased my Samsung DW (Model DW933) through Lowe's. After 2 months, I noticed a smell that is always present - even after I cleaned the dishes. It is awful. Plus, the glasses don't stay up. I have several broken glasses when I open my DW, I can count on one of them being broken... The top rack is a joke. Spoke to Samsung and they sent a repairman out... He was a joke. I could not understand him.

He told me to use vinegar too like I did not know that already. Waste of time. I'm SO FREAKING UNHAPPY with this dishwasher but I'm stuck with it. Samsung should recall them... Oh by the way, the rollers on the bottom shelf do not glide back and forth. If you take the shelf out too far, it will fall down onto the door. There are no stops to prevent this from happening. I need some help here. I don't have 700.00 for another new Dishwasher. :(

So much confusion between Samsung and Lowe's. Anyway, the dishwasher makes a HORRIBLE noise during the 2nd cycle. I have it a little over 1 year. It's been making the sound for a few months. So frustrated and disappointed. I have to pay $100 plus to get a serviceman out here. I don't want to considering the dishwasher is still new to me.

This is the very first consumer product review I have ever written. This is the worst experience with a new appliance I have ever experienced. The unit was loud from the start, did not clean the dishes, the rollers came off right away and now there is an error code that caused the dishwasher to stop completely. An overpriced, poor performing appliance. Do not buy.

First 3 months after we bought the Samsung dmt300, it was down. Sears came out repaired it, 3 months later down again. After 4 repairs in the first year, I had had enough. This is the worst freaking product I have ever bought. For the price you pay, you would think it would work great but heck no we have had a repair person here to fix the stupid thing over and over again from it completely being rebuilt the first year new motor. Pump front panel board and so on to the last few repairs of the top water jet falling off and the rollers on the racks falling off.

Now another problem with the stupid thing - flashing heavy light, which by the way means there is a leak somewhere, which there is going to be another service call. Thank the Lord we had sense enough to purchase the extended warranty. Never again will I purchase a Samsung dishwasher. They are the biggest **. I do have to agree with some over posts; it does not get dishes clean or dry.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher... Awesomely quiet but this dishwasher has a stench from ** (so bad that I refuse to rate this unit... Well I had to or I couldn't post my review). No matter how I try to clean it... bleach, ammonia, vinegar or one of the dishwasher disinfectants that you can buy... it still stinks... the same with the front loader machines... What can I do to get rid of the stench? I'm about ready to go chew on someone knowing it's NOT their fault. I thought I'd purchase a well known dependable brand name but I think I'd.... Let me rephrase that, I know I like my Magic Chef 100% more than this top dollar unit. It's a shame that the USA allows such crap to be imported from another country... Lesson well learned... DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER!!!

I thought it was only our dishwasher having these issues. It is a mixed reaction to find out all of you are having the exact same problems with your Samsung dishwashers - both happy I'm not alone, sad that it appears the product is faulty with no response from Samsung in the way of a recall. We have had our Samsung DMT800RHS since 2010 and immediately encounted the washing quality issue - which we were able to solve most of the time by always using the heavy wash cycle and sanitize modes. On a positive note, I would agree with the individual that said the washer is quiet.

Now I have my first broken upper rack lever for raising and lowering the rack. I've heard some grinding when washing so now I fear the broken parts are grinding away in the motor assembly. Count me in if anyone pursues legal action to get Samsung to do the right thing. Also, does anyone know the actual part number(s) for the upper rack levers (right and left)? The parts are supposedly listed on Samsung's site and other sites but there isn't any picture or description to verify they refer to the correct part. Thanks! One last note, we have a Samsung refrigerator that was purchased at the same time. I have been battling a leak in the water feed after replacing the water filter the first time. I am hoping this is just a nasty coincidence that both products are from Samsung.

    Reviewed Sept. 18, 2013

Samsung is fully aware of the defective clips that will break from the top rack of their dishwasher and the clips get lodged in the pump motor and the dishwasher will not run. Their solution to the guaranteed reoccurring problem is to allow one time only repair outside of warranty and then the consumer is on their own after that. What they should do is proceed with a recall of the part and provide a retrofit or, at the very least, provide unlimited repairs to the consumer. My whole entire house is equipped with Samsung products and I placed my confidence in a company that doesn't back their products. There was simply no help offered or even concern regarding this defect.

Simply put, I was told, "We know and you've already used your one time allotted repair". BUYERS BEWARE. SAMSUNG DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, EVEN WHEN THEY KNOW THERE IS A DEFECT. The last repairman that came to my house left replacement parts for me because he knew it would happen again. REALLY??? Where is a lawyer when you need one??

Bought the Samsung DMT800RHS dishwasher from Lowe's and installed it. After about 6 months of use, I noticed the top rack was sagging and not very sturdy. I noticed the adjustment clips were broken off the rack and I found 3 of them in the bottom of the dishwasher. I thought it was strange because we had never used the adjusters to raise or lower the rack. I called Samsung and described the problem so they looked up the date of purchase and said they would send out new adjusters to replace them. I got the parts and installed them. After about 4 months I noticed that 2 had broken off again - I knew it was a design flaw.

I checked another model at Lowe's and noticed they had a different design on that dishwasher for the upper rack. One morning after running the dishwasher the night before, I opened the door and began removing dishes - they were still dirty and there was liquid soap running down the door inside that had not dissolved. I reloaded the dirty dishes and turned it on. It filled with water, but the motor did not run and there was no washing. After checking out the control board (okay) and talking with Samsung, I tackled the problem myself. I removed the wash arm, unscrewed the filter module, removed the housing and found one of the broken clips wedged in the pump motor. After removing the piece and reassembling the module, it filled up with water and started washing. Samsung needs to provide a retrofit for the rack adjusters and send to all of their customers. I am considering making a clamp to wrap around the adjuster and the rack to keep it from falling below. Put my name on the list of dissatisfied consumers and contact me for a retrofit when available.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in 9/2012 model # DMT400RHW/XAA from Sears. From day 1 the dishwasher would not wash my dishes very good. It would leave spots on glasses, utensils, & a white substance on plates, bowls, etc. I contacted Sears after the tub in the dishwasher was holding water & the dishwasher would shut off with the delicate blue light flashing. Sears advised me to contact Samsung Repair. This is when the dissatisfied consumer turned into Angry Consumer. I contacted Samsung Repair & they told me that I was assigned to a repair company to come out & fix the dishwasher (under warranty) at No Charge, but when I contacted repair appliance company, she advised me that I would have to pay for it to be repair. Then I contacted Samsung repair & told them what the repair company said so she then assigned me to another repair appliance company, but they wanted me to pay for the mileage for them to come out & fix the dishwasher.

Again, I had to contact Samsung Repair about the mileage problem. After several calls to Samsung Repair, she put me on hold & came back & said her manager said they would pay for the mileage. The repair appliance coming assigned would never answer my phone calls or messages I left more than 4 times. They would call me at inconvenient times when I was driving & could not pick up the phone, but I would pull over & call back & the repair company again would not pickup my calls or return my messages I had left & the next day Samsung Repair department closed the repair order, without contacting me to let me know they were going to close out the repair order or to find out why from me that I could not get in touch with the repair company. I called the Executive Customer Relations department spoke to Keya & she advised me that the dishwasher would be repaired at No Charge.

I sent several Emails to corporate office & Samsung repair several times & several days ago & I have not received any correspondence from Samsung either by Email or Phone Call. Please help me in getting my money back from Samsung. I have never owned a Samsung dishwasher before or do not ever want to own a Samsung dishwasher again. Remodeled kitchen at the Shore. Bought Samsung Refrigerator and dishwasher. After reading Consumer report. Right off the bat dishes were always wet, never dried, had to hand dry. Called Samsung and was told to turn my hot water heater up and use on sanitize and heavy load settings. (This is great way to save energy.) This really did not accomplish much. Dishes still wet, still had to be dried by hand. This dishwasher is only used on weekends in the summer maybe at most it was used 20 times the first year. Second summer by 4th of July used around 6 times and a grinding noise started. Not all the time but at end of cycle. Called repair person (independent) 4 people refused to work on Samsung. I found one repair person who I paid $200 dollars to come and he told me I needed a new motor, which would be upward of $300. Washed the dishes for the remainder of that year. Third summer, called Sears, got a service contract for all products purchased from them, $300. Sears came and replaced pump, and said there was lots of plastic rack clips in pump, we counted 4. I never raise or lower the rack. The clips broke from just simply pulling it out and pushing it back.

I was instructed to do this gently. That was 4 weeks ago. SE light came on and dishwasher stopped, after at tops 6 uses and gently moving the rack back and forth running hot water for 3-4 min. until very hot before turning on dishwasher at heavy and sanitize load. After a two week wait for service and another week for parts Sears is scheduled to come and replace pump and motor and all the rack clips. This will still be under my repair agreement with Sears (thank Goodness). So far my 3 year old Samsung DMR78DHS $800 plus delivery and installation has cost me $500. That is $1300. divided by the times used 30 = $43.33 each times it has been used. WOW!!! Not counting energy cost. I have no expectation that this scheduled repair will last. I hope it will until the end of summer and I will plan on buying a new dishwasher. I will under no circumstance buy another Samsung product. I wouldn't pay sales tax on another Samsung product if they gave me one. Not worth the trouble.

Purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher in November 2010. Immediately we had some type of electrical problems. Every time we went to use the washer we had to reset the breaker to get it to turn on. The electrical panel was eventually replaced after waiting months for the part. The same thing continued so the entire dishwasher was replaced in June, 2011. In October, we experienced our first "error code" message related to drainage. Found to be debris blocking the drain hose. In December had the upper rack bracket break loose. Weeks later had the same drainage error code appeared again. Technician found the plastic bracket pieces in the pump clogging the drain. Bracket was replaced but eventually broke again and became lodged in pump, requiring another service call.

About six months ago a new error code appeared approx halfway through the cycle. Technician advised that it pertained to a water level issue. It was one of three things - the panel, the sensor or the level gauge. To repair could be costly as it would be hit or miss. We contacted Samsung and advised them of the problem. At first we were dealing with a woman who appeared very nice (by email). We eventually spoke by phone to a gentleman who just stated that they would only work on the dishwasher if it was still under the one year warranty. Although the warranty was technically up I questioned the fact that two units malfunctioned so obviously it was a manufacturer's problems and the warranty should be voided... Well it is now July 2013 and Samsung has still not said, "We stand by our products so we will replace the dishwasher"..... Hey Samsung...... stick to phones. Leave the appliances to the experts.

$700 dishwasher started acting up 9 months after purchase. Kept shutting down before going through full cycle. Dishes were very dirty. We called for repair since they would also be there for the second repair on the microwave (bought at the same time). A circuit board was replaced and lasted 4 months before breaking down right before July 4th barbecue with 80 people. I spent the next couple weeks talking with various people. 3 times made it to their executive customer relations level. Was sent two emails confirming a one-time repair as we were now out of warranty. Received a final call informing me they have no one to service the machine, I was out of warranty and they would not service, despite previous agreement to service.

So what happens when they sell extended warranties at the point of purchase, if they have no one to service the product? I called an independent service company. They advised me not to have it serviced. States Samsung has chronic problems with their circuit boards. To quote, "They make great phones, they should quit there." Since then, they have had design changes to correct the problem. Two weeks ago, the drain pump stopped working, giving a 5E error code. I called a service technician who ultimately found broken tabs jamming the pump. The pump was not damaged but it took $187.00 in labor to fix.

As a side note, he informed me that the adjusters were on third generation and covered in warranty for 5 years. I contacted Samsung requesting parts and labor. After 5 emails, they contacted me and agreed to supply new parts only. I am placing another request for labor reimbursement because it is a design problem. Something has to be done to protect the consumers.

But what? In addition to the clips are the random error codes, frequent unexplained shut downs (requiring a trip to the circuit breaker), this expensive dishwasher is an ABSOLUTE disappointment. We bought a new set of Samsung for the house (wash/dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher). No issues with them except for the dishwasher.

The DMT800 is the most expensive Samsung dishwasher, and seems to have a lot of issues in my research. After only three days old, we got "Error Code 5E (or SE): blocked line." Then we reset the breakers, unplugged it...made sure no vent line was pinched... Then it worked for three days, before we got "Error Code PE."

We called Pacific Sales (the retail store), and they will NOT return a dishwasher... NO return policy (after only a week since purchase). They scheduled a repairman in two weeks, and told us to call Samsung to try to get an earlier appointment.

Spent a total of 2.5 hours going back and forth with Samsung and Pacific Sales, as you are required by Samsung to perform various steps to resolve the issue (like resetting circuit breaker, unplugging it for 20 minutes, running it empty, running it in sanitize mode...).

We were told by the retailer, Pacific Sales, that Samsung repairs are behind schedule (maybe because of their bad dishwashers) and that the earliest appointment is in two weeks! They said to call Samsung directly to try to get them to come out earlier. After over three hours of calls...we are to wait another two days to see when the "Earlier Possible" appointment may be. The dishwasher went down five days ago, and now we may go two weeks (washing by hand like we did as kids... oh fun!).

TIP: Not sure what the cost is for the Extended Warranty, but saw many websites with reviews that it may be worth getting, as you will have guaranteed issues over the first 1.5 years.

TIP: Also, does installing yourself void the warranty? They charge $95 for installs... After the first repairman comes, we will only let the repair guys touch it to maintain the warranty.

TIP: A common problem is with the racks breaking (top one specifically), so call Samsung immediately if it happens, as you may need to do it a few times before warranty is up.

When asked for support, I was told that a defective part will be provided under warranty, but I should pay for labor to install it. On top of labor, Samsung wants to charge $100 for a service call. This is really bad! This is Samsung's fault, that a relatively new product stopped working (an old GE model worked in our kitchen for 10+ years without a glitch, before we replaced it with DMR). Now, Samsung wants to charge this ridiculous service call charge of $100 on top of the $80 for labor? The total $180 fee for our choice of this product? The service tech had to disconnect the unit, pull it out, and turn it over to remove all of the plastic tabs. Luckily, the impeller was not damaged. The tech said that this is a very common problem with Samsung dishwashers. He installed new basket clips, supposedly made out of stronger plastic, but I seriously doubt it. In 2011 we purchased a Samsung model # DMT800RHS dishwasher. It required 2 service calls within the 1st year: once because we had to keep flipping the breaker to get it to turn on and once for a problem with the control panel. The racks are held together with plastic clips. The top rack has two positions. After only 2 years, many of the plastic clips are broken, and now the rack will not stay in the "up" position. One of the rungs (which is also held together with plastic clips) will not stay in the upright position because of the broken clips. We also purchased an electric range and French door refrigerator. We have had one service call on the range. So far the only appliance that has not needed service is the refrigerator. I would not recommend Samsung appliances at all. And I will absolutely never purchase a Samsung again.

We purchased this unit from Lowe's and we're not happy with the way it cleaned right off the bat. There were water spots on the glasses, food still on the plates. After 6 months of use, the top basket rack adjuster broke. They did send us new ones which lasted another 6 months. We asked for another set and they said it was just out of warranty but they would send them out once more at no charge. Six months later, they broke again! Now, I was getting angry and they say it was a design flaw and we can send you out another set. Six months later they started breaking again!

This is an awful product. This past Christmas, an error code came up for leak detected. It ended up being the drain hoses cracking and leaking. Now, my basement floor is destroyed from a 2-year-old dishwasher! After we fixed the drain hoses which was 2 months ago, we have a new code 9E - low water flow. This is caused by the basket adjuster pieces that were broken off and stuck in the hoses. I feel that I should be refunded or receive a new dishwasher. This should have been recalled by now. I'm not a happy Samsung customer!

I had to replace plastic raisers on top rack at least 3 times and another is breaking. It does not clean dishes. I have to use heavy load just to get a little cleaner. Plastic detergent door doesn't always open. I cannot put any dishes close at all. My other dishwasher (in the old home rental) still works great. I wish I still had it. I have tried several different ways to get better cleaning from the dishwasher. I should not have to baby this machine to clean my dishes. I have an OE error now. I purchased it at Lowe's and extended warranty. I called on 02/03/13 and cannot look for service until 02/13/2013. Very inconvenient.

I actually have shopped for a new one. Does not have rinse, only cycle. I was told by the salesman it did. All I want is a dishwasher you can use rinse only and put dishes in and have clean dishes. Not too much to ask!

We ordered a new Samsung dishwasher from AJ Madison. We ordered it, received it on 11/28/12. My husband installed it that night. The next evening, I loaded it, ran it and opened it. Soap was never released. I ran it again, and it was the same thing. The little door never popped open to release soap. I called the next morning. The girl from Samsung didn't really know why but there's a sensor & if it's blocked, maybe it would not be released (she couldn't tell me where sensor was located).

Now, it's Sunday, 12/2/12. I ran it again, making sure there was nothing too tall or blocking - same thing. I called & a service call must be set up. This lady said the other person lied - there is no sensor, only for water level. She gave me the name of the service company & number. They would call the next day. The guy left his name & number. I tried several times to call him & the service company (the phone rings continuously & I can't leave voice mail). I called Samsung again - a lengthy call. It turns out it's not that company. It's a different one.

Don't you think I should be told this? They have my number, & I was told I should call them to set it up. We set up for Saturday. AJ Madison called & said they don't have a repair company that works on Saturdays & I had one for Monday. No one told me about that. Monday was not good for me. We called Samsung up . Well, we had to argue, of course, but some nice guy came on Saturday, 12/8/12, and said, "The part is broken; it needs to be ordered & replaced (he doesn't have it in truck). When the part comes in, someone will come back & replace it."

I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model, clearance center, or scratch & dent. Many, many, many phone calls to both Samsung (who is giving us the runaround) and AJ Madison (who is giving us the runaround) have left us with a broken new Samsung dishwasher which has only been used 3x and is broken from the start. I ordered this & think I should have some right to getting one that works the first time correctly (not broken). I'm still washing by hand.

Furthermore, we have offered AJ Madison to take it back & we are willing to spend more money w/ them & get something else (my husband is even willing to bring it to them). They will not do that if it can be repaired again. I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model or scratch & dent. We are extremely dissatisfied w/ both companies. I should have some right to get a properly working appliance for my money. We have been greatly affected by Hurricane Sandy with 4 & 1/2 ft water in our home. Now we have to argue & call daily for something that was defective. Give us a break.

I loaded my dishwasher last night, put in the soap and shut the door to start it. When I touched the start button, it was dead. The whole touch panel was dead. Thinking somehow a breaker had blown, I checked on that and it had not. The machine was just dead. My husband is an electrician, but he didn't even get a chance to check the electrical. He shut the door and something inside, the latch broke. Now the door doesn't latch. We bought this unit in September 2008.

After having it for two weeks back then, we called the service department explaining how touchy the control panel was. If you just skimmed the panel, you could turn it on or off. The instrument was replaced but it is still extremely sensitive. We began to put the touch panel in the child lock mode when in use and when not in use. By doing so protected the touch panel; we couldn't turn it on or off. It is awful when the dishwasher is on and in mid-wash cycle and you accidentally touch or skim the panel and the whole machine is turned off. This dishwasher does not restart from where the cycle was shut off. You have to restart the wash cycle from the beginning. We've decided to replace the dishwasher with another brand instead of fixing this one. Dishwashers should last some 10-15 years. We will not be buying a Samsung. We had the same problem others reported with the dishwasher turning on at the slightest touch or seemingly even a near approach.

Samsung should sell the technology for proximity switches. But the solution is simple: turn on the child lock feature immediately after the cycle begins. That is, disable when you want to run the damn thing, then enable as soon as the cycle begins so you don't forget. Problem solved with minimum hassle. We also experienced the Lego snap-off wheel problem, lower rack only, and the only solution we found is to pull the rack straight out. Cheap or stupid design, no question. Yes, bacteria. He said we must use vinegar every two weeks and glisten every month. It smelled bad all the time and this horrendous black sludge was all over in there under the filter (11 x 3 inch bolts to remove to get under there) by the door seals. So putting it back together, one of the plastic parts cracks when the bolt goes in. Now it shuts off if there isn't enough rinsing agent and won't go. It shuts off if you don't slam the top drawer hard and break a couple glasses.

This is a really expensive piece of crap. My mother is devastated as she thought this fancy thing would be the last time she bought an appliance. It's a waste of a pensioner's money and Sears says talk to Samsung. Samsung says Sears is the person to contact during warranty and any other repair person who can do Samsung after that. The machine quit working after seven months. Never really fell in love with the thing. First, the racks are awkward. They look nice in the store but you can't stack dishes in them very well. Next, the wheels pop off the rack when you slid it in or out like the designer had been fired from the Lego factory. Next, the depth of the unit is not a standard depth. It sticks out into the kitchen just enough that when you lean against the counter, you hit the buttons on the front of the machine turn it on or off, or changing the settings. Next, the soap dispenser wasn't designed right because if you put pot or a pitcher too close, the front edge, it doesn't open. Then you have to wait another three hours for clean dishes. Finally and the biggest one is that it must have cheap components. It just died.

After the repairman looked at it, he said it could be the control circuit or it could be drain motor. Really? Because when you think about it or if you have ever checked one of these out mechanically, there are only three parts that can break down. He mention two of them. On the other hand, this is the perfect machine if you: 1) Like doing dishes my hand. You can even use the dishwasher racks to dry them on, if you don't mind the two cent wheels that pop off; 2) If you have so much kitchen space you don't mind sacrificing 20 cubic feet for a giant unmovable paperweight; 3) The repair person is good friend you want to send business to until the warranty runs out; 4) You have several hundred dollars that you want to either give to the Occupy cause (heads) or the 1%ers (tails) and tails won and you don't know how else to give it them; 5) You have in-laws that constantly come over and want to get rid of them by making them eat off dirty dishes; 6) You love the stench of stagnant water that develops while you wait for repairs.

My old dishwasher was in the house when I bought it 14 years ago. Who knew that the old clunky Roper was good and brand new Samsung was garbage? There are only about three functional parts to a dishwasher: pump in, pump out and a control unit. All three can be easily manufactured to function for 20 years. You have to really try to make something that will go out in less than four years. In other words, your Samsung is designed to fall apart in about 36 months. Following a normal curve, some us end up with the ones that die in less than a year and other will get a machine that last 48 months. I have canned goods in my cupboard that lasted longer than my dishwasher! Something should be done. I know this is long winded, but what else do I have to do while I am again waiting of the repairman to call?

I purchased of course the expensive model DMR Samsung dishwasher. Within months, this thing was not working properly so of course my husband tried to fix it himself by cleaning it out really good, thinking the kids had just got food stuck at the bottom or something. No, not at all. This dishwasher just didn't work. Well, I call Lowe's well to my surprise since I had purchased the item 07/2008 but the item was not picked up from the store until 11/2008. Since my purchase date was July, my one year warranty was already up by the time I called. I refused to call Samsung and have them come out because when I did inquire I was told it would be 65 bucks just to come out and tell me whats wrong with it. So now 3 years late, still no new dishwasher. I just have a piece of stationary sitting in my house being decoration to go with the rest of my kitchen. Thanks Samsung for such a good product and taking my 900 dollars.

My Samsung dishwasher model DMT300RFW failed six months out of warranty, but used less than 20 times (it was at a second home). Repair cost was just over 1/2 the purchase price.

Failed part was the drain pump, DD31-00005A. Failure mode was that the impeller shaft "O" ring had expanded from the drain water, preventing the shaft from turning freely. (The housing "O" ring had also expanded.) The "O" rings were not made with an appropriate material. In summary, the failure of a 10-cent part killed the dishwasher.

Next, an attempt was made to report these findings to Samsung through their 800 number. Though my message was taken, there appeared to be a stone wall in terms of getting anyone to do anything. If this happens again, and it likely will, I may buy space in the Wall Street Journal and see if they care.

What did I expect, at least that someone would make sure that my findings got to the right people. I guess it would be naive to expect anything else.

Dishwasher never worked well. I complained to Lowe's 2 weeks after purchasing but nothing was done. Then the dishwasher stopped working completely. I called Lowe's and they had a crew come out twice and try to fix it with no luck. We have been without a dishwasher for over 5 weeks. Lowe's said we had to contact Samsung so Samsung could issue a refund back to Lowe's. I wonder how much longer that will take?! Another month?

This unit has been worked on for the third time, which means I have had to be off from work three times as well. No one cares about the money this cost me as well as time. Samsung does not give out what problems they are having with their pieces of junk. They could care less about that. I will not be looking at their company for any other products.

I purchased a new dishwasher from Leon's. Within months, the motor and parts were repaired 8 times. I contacted Leon's and was told to deal directly with manufacturer. Finally, in October, I was told that they would exchange for a new unit and upgrade it and include delivery. I still do not have anything in writing nor do I have any firm dates as to when it will be delivered.

I have a seven-month old Samsung dishwasher and it would not clean dishes well. I had to run it two to three times. I also had to repair it twice. I am now waiting for the third repair. Samsung says that they do not return products.

Within six weeks of purchase, the heater burned out. After repair, another six weeks went by and the heater burned out again. After the repair, five days went by and the heater burned out again. I am now told that I have to wait till it breaks a fourth time before they will exchange it for another.

I don't want the same lemon again, and they are refusing a refund. They tried to tell me the installation was wrong even though the professional who repaired it has assured me it is correctly installed.

This has all occurred within three months of purchase. I don't want the bother of a law suit, I just want Samsung to refund my money.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher DMR57 series from Lowe's a year and a half ago. After using it for a year it quit working. I called Lowe's, to our surprise they do not service Samsung dishwashers. We were given a number to contact which is located in Montana, then we were advised to have the Geek Squad come to our home and charge us $100.00 just to tell us that the pump is bad which we already knew.

The technician quoted us $445.00 or more for the pump and labor. I called the Samsung office and asked if they can at least pay for the pump, they say it is out of warranty. I decided for that much money on the parts and labor, I could add a little bit of money I can have a new and reliable dishwasher. Samsung touch dishwasher has a bad design. Every time my family reaches for something or comes close to the power on/off button, it turns on automatically. That probably adds to the demise of the pump.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher about two years ago, when it was a brand new product. It had problems from day 1. Eventually, after much fussing with it, I was able to get it to work, if we babied it. It still took way too long to clean dishes, often left food stuck on, and often needed to be reset by shutting off power to it for 10-20 minutes. Through much troubleshooting, I eventually have concluded that the drain motor is not nearly powerful enough, and the computer does not compensate for it.

This is not the only issue, but it is the factor that often renders our expensive dishwasher unusable. At the time we purchased this, they were brand new, and no reviews were online discussing this issue, or this product. We called for service on it, and were told the computer was bad. This was not really the case, and further reviews have shown that replacement of the computer does not actually impact the problem. We have effectively lost the $800 that we spent on the expensive dishwasher.

We purchased a Samsung Dishwasher for $600 2 months back for our new house. We connect the dishwasher after 2 months. It didn't even finish one cycle and broke. We called costumer services and they said our mother-board is dead. He said it will be fixed in a week. After a week without even calling us back or anything, he didn't show up. We called him and he said that device is in backed up order. Now we don't even know it will come or not or when it will come.

It has been already three weeks since we called. Brand new dishwasher will do this. what will one or two year old will do? Piece of crap. I want my money back or give me a new one. Why did I bought such an expensive dishwasher, to have convenience in life. I am having so hard time cause I can't buy a new dishwasher and they are not fixing it. These kind of companies should be swiped off completely from here. Worthless company and worthless costumer service people who don't even know how to talk.

We had our DMR77 Samsung dishwasher for just over a year and twice it has broken down. Now the low water sensor continuously comes on. The first repair we had was covered by Samsung but getting them to pay for it was difficult. The repairman (only one in our area) didn't seem to think the machine was great and he has proved right. So to avoid a walk in fee of $$$$, my husband is stripping down the dishwasher. We paid almost $900 for this unit and it has not performed to anything near like it should have. I would not recommend this machine at all. We are off to buy a standard washing machine if it cannot be easily (and inexpensively) fixed. So much for high end machines!

I purchased a Samsung DMR77LHS dishwasher about a year and a half ago. This is a rather high end dishwasher with a stainless steel interior and exterior as well as invisible controls. As I can best recall, it cost somewhere between $700 and $800 at the time of purchase. But, I rationalized that Samsung had a good reputation and that this would be a wise investment. Wrong! The machine stopped working one week after it went out of warranty.

I tried calling Lowe's to see if anything could be done. It could not. I called a couple of service companies but most do not service Samsung dishwashers. I called Lowe's again and got the name of a service company that did service them. The only problem was that they charged $100 to walk in the door. Still, I had to get the thing fixed. The repairman came out and fixed it rather quickly and everything was fine until this past weekend, when it again simply stopped working. I called the repair company and they indicate that it may cost as much as $400 to get the darn thing fixed and I will have to wait 2-3 weeks to get parts.

I looked up reviews of this particular model on Samsung's website and learned several things. First, they no longer make it. Second it has an average rating of 1.9 on 16 reviews and the only reason that it has that high a rating is because a couple of fools gave it rave reviews. Most had complaints similar to mine or worse. Do not buy a Samsung dishwasher. I am off to buy a $500 dishwasher with a brand from a company that has been manufacturing dishwashers for a while. Its only $100 more than the potential repairs and hopefully, will last for a while.
