We bought our dishwasher on 2/18/2024 thankfully with Samsung Care+. In June 2025 the dishwasher stopped draining. We called Samsung who did not see our Samsung Care+ so they charged my husband a repair scheduling fee. A repair person came out and said the couldn't do anything because we had Samsung Care+. So I called Samsung Care + and schedule with them. A repair person came out to diagnose. Said there were 2 possible parts needed but only ordered one. Came back, realized the part ordered wasn't the issue so said he would order the second part. Then went radio silent for 1.5 weeks.
I called Samsung Care + and KEEP IN MIND we are JUST out of the one year warranty but still under the Samsung Care + warranty and they said "Oh the part isn't made anymore." IT'S A BRAND NEW MODEL AND 1 YEAR OLD DISHWASHER! SO now they say they will process a REPLACEMENT cost. I want a brand new dishwasher in my house. I don't want to have to go and BUY another one. Especially because I now have to pay delivery and installation fees. Samsung Care + is a scam and their dishwashers obviously are junk if they can't last more than a year.
Now on to the dishwasher besides not working after only a year. It has limited top shelf space even when lowering it. When you lower the top shelf you can barely fit a normal sized plate in the bottom rack. The silverware top rack is basically useless. And all bowls and cups are slanted at enough of an angle that they always get knocked over a bit and have water in them. Good riddance to this horrible dishwasher.

Pretty, yes. The spokes and drawers collapsed EVERY time I loaded it. Broke down four times in less than four years. The door would spontaneously open which created quite a mess. Eventually, Samsung wouldn't replace the door and it was going to cost me $500 or more to order a new one. Worst appliance I have ever owned.

Bought a Samsung dishwasher dw80r5061us from Best Buy and it has never cleaned our dishes correctly. Top rack glasses always have dirt in them. Have cleaned the filter, washed with just vinegar- with nothing in it, and also cleaned sprayers. Would not recommend to anyone. We have also tried rinsing all dishes before they are put into the dishwasher, but it’s like they are all cleaned with dirty water and the remnant's dry on all of the dishes. We have a whole house filter and softeners so I know it isn’t our quality of water.

I have an 18 month old DD68-00185B-00 Samsung dishwasher that I purchased from a local appliance store. The repair person came yesterday and found that both water pumps are fried and also discovered that some parts inside the dishwasher had started to melt. He reported that the machine is no longer operative and no longer under warranty. This is the worst dishwasher I have ever had - my last one lasted 17 years. We are only a family of 2 - we use the dishwasher maybe 2 times a week if that. Do not purchase this dishwasher.

I was Leery to write this review because of such negative reviews for past dishwashers. I’m here to turn the tide! After installation, loaded up the 3 racks and studied the easy to read control panel on the top of the door. Many choices for different types of cycles. I’m thrilled with the Storm wash feature which has a special spot on lower rack for hard to clean pots or pans. Top rack is extremely handy to use and the middle rack is really a helping rack. Two LED lights are bright enough for loading overnight cycles. Excellent features and ultra quiet! Bonus points for a talking dishwasher 😄😄😄

I am on my third replacement of the same dishwasher in less than 5 years. I have had it less than two months and it still doesn’t dry at all, even with rinse aid. The previous two both started blinking all the lights mid cycle and would not stop trying to add water without actually adding water and would not time off or reset without turning off the breaker for at least 72 hours. I rent, so don’t have the option of replacing with a different brand. All three have been brand new. Not one has worked as a brand new appliance. While I’m at it, the Samsung microwave I have has had to be replaced once in the same five years as well.

My dishwasher is under 5 years old. The delay start wouldn't go off, so my dishwasher wouldn't start. I called and they told me there is no way to get it off. So I ask them should I throw out the dishwasher because it won't go on with delay wash. No response except sorry. I would warn anybody thinking they will buy Samsung products DON'T DO IT.

I regret that I took out my old but great working dishwasher and replaced very poor functioning new Samsung dishwasher. I didn't want to keep it, but warranty customer service insisted to send someone to fix it. After this experience and read one or two star and dissatisfied customer reviews I don't recommend a Samsung dishwasher at all.

Worst products I have ever purchased! I remodeled my kitchen and replaced all appliances with Samsung.🤬 3 months in trouble started with dishwasher, slowly every appliance does not work properly, constantly need to have a repair person in. Warning, Do NOT purchase any Samsung products!!! It isn’t even a 1star, 0zero stars.

I purchased a $900 Samsung dishwasher expecting quality and durability, but after just two years of normal household use, it has developed a massive leak from the tub assembly. This is a clear product defect, not a result of misuse or normal wear and tear. A dishwasher is classified as a durable good, meaning it is expected to function reliably for many years—not become unusable in such a short time.
I contacted an independent service provider who confirmed that the cost of repair would exceed the price of a new dishwasher. Samsung’s offer to cover only the parts is not a sufficient solution, as the labor costs are still significant. Additionally, the repair process would take too long, requiring multiple visits for diagnosis, ordering parts, and final repair. As a parent of two young children, I cannot wait weeks for a fix to an issue that should never have happened in the first place.
Durability is a key expectation for any major appliance. No consumer should be forced to replace an essential household device after only two years simply because it was used as intended. Given this premature failure, I am demanding a replacement unit, even if it is at a lower price point. If Samsung refuses to offer a fair resolution, I will escalate this complaint publicly and through consumer protection channels.

I bought a Samsung dishwasher last year. From day 1 did not work. 5 visits and 2 parts replaced including the panel still did not work. Their vendored repair service 3rd visit said it was fixed, we ran it and flooded my kitchen floor. We lost 3 days of work dealing with repair service including 1 day they did not show up. Several long calls, emails including CEO's office nothing. I gave up called/emailed for them to remove it from my house - nothing. Never have I experienced this. Nightmare product, company, worst customer support and service. Save your time and $$$. One star so I can post.

I bought a dishwasher about 1.5 year ago. A couple months ago it simply stopped pumping water into the machine. Technical support says there is a broken wire - the detail is that the wire spontaneously broke without any external force. Long story short, we spent money on a very expensive dishwasher and it simply broke.

Bought a high end Samsung dishwasher. Love the quiet feature, but have to run on the "Heavy Cycle" to get dishes clean and the top washer arm comes off after each cycle and have to reattach before each running. Have not found any solution to this problem other than YouTube videos showing how to reattach.

On a three-hour washing cycle, the majority of the cups on the upper rack come out with gunk glued to the inside. The outside of the glasses are always clean, which is what you want, right? The lower rack does an alright job at leaving yesterday's dinner on them. Mmm, leftovers. I've cleaned the filters, and tried different detergents, no change. Samsung makes good cell phones, but terrible dishwashers.

Looks nice and very quiet but terrible design, dishes not clean very well. The door gasket rubs on the the bottom tray, had to replace twice, the top display failed less than 3 years. The worst is when the inlet valve failed and caused a massive leak into my basement. Never will buy Samsung dishwasher again.

I bought a Samsung dishwasher on sale from Home Depot and the machine stinks of burnt rubber every time you run it and it was LONG before the drying cycle that it would stink. My eyes would be burning and I'd be coughing and sneezing. The dishes would come out smelling like burnt rubber. AND I am SEVERELY disappointed in Samsung customer service. They finally sent a service person that came to my house 5 hours late just to say that the agent on the phone had made a service order for "no drain" and he could not fix it if there was another problem. He also gaslighted me and pretended there was no stench just so he could call it a day without filling any paperwork or doing any work.
I finally was able to get Home Depot to replace the machine and the replacement did the same thing!!! No more Samsung appliance for me! I like the phones and the screens. I would have been another loyal customer for the home appliances. But this experience give me second thoughts on continuing to even get screens and phones from them anymore. This experience was a straight up scam and a huge waste of time. I haven't had a working dishwasher in forever because situation. Sooo many phone calls; sooo many different explanations; sooo many people not doing their job; and in the end it's just an extremely low quality product that is toxic to your air and to your food. It's pretty much a well-known fact that burnt rubber is a carcinogen and has offers many additional detriments to health.

I bought a Samsung Bespoke dishwasher a few months ago and have had to call service three times for repairs. The last time the technician wanted to replace ANOTHER part so we escalated our concerns. The service department cancelled our repair order and the escalation department (that promises to contact you within 24-hours) waited over a week to call and say that they cannot do anything more and that we will need to call service. DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER! I love the look, but it is cheap and Samsung customer service is the WORST. I am building a new home and will not be choosing Samsung appliances again.

So disappointed in my Samsung dishwasher. It does a very poor job. I have to hand wash my glasses because they come out filmed and spotted even though I have rinse agent in the washer as directed. Frequently the detergent pod is not correctly dispersed from the compartment leaving the dishes dirty and requiring a second cycle to clean the dishes. I choose the heavy cycle even though my dishes are rinsed before going in the dishwasher hoping for the best cleaning results. Still disappointed in the end result. Definitely not worth the money

We have had a Samsung dishwasher for several years now and let me say it is horrible! It does wash dishes well and I like the ringtone of letting me know when the cycle is complete, but this dishwasher has been nothing but a nightmare the first year we bought it. Within the first year we kept getting the error light to come on. We had Samsung techs come out 3 times but they could not even fix it or figure out what was causing the error light to come on every so often. Finally we had a guy that my uncle knows, come out and look at it and he actually figured out what the issue was and was able to fix it.
And now here we are, several years later and now it's getting to the point where I won't be able to use the bottom dish rack, because all of the little dish dividers are melting or melted off! And it's near impossible to find a replacement for this dishwasher just to replace the bottom rack or the replacement rack is so expensive you may as well get another dishwasher.
I am at a loss at this point because it's frustrating to see pretty much half, if not about 70% of the tabs are melted off! I personally would never ever, ever purchase another Samsung dishwasher just for this reason. When we bought our house, about 17 years ago, it had a Whirlpool or Maytag dishwasher in it and the bottom rack never melted. Only reason we got rid of it is just because it was very old and we wanted something more modern. But again, I will not ever purchase another Samsung dishwasher due to the fact the bottom rack starts melting off pieces.

We purchased our dishwasher from an appliance store in September 2022 and starting in June 2024 (less than 2 years) we started noticing the dish racks rusting, especially the bottom rack. We generally only use the dishwasher once a day and take good care of all my appliances with regular cleaning. When I called them, they did replace the bottom rack, I never received the top rack from them as it has not started rusting as bad. I explained to them I have never in my experience seen dish racks rust as I have had some dishwashers for over 15 years.
A couple of weeks later (June 30th, 2024) I noticed the dishwasher was running a bit louder and smelled of burning rubber. I called to report on Monday and left a message with our repair company we use since they can be cheaper than the repair company manufactures. (My experience with manufacture repair companies is they back the companies and are not always honest with the consumer). My repair company advised that the circulation motor assembly pump is gone and a replacement cost about $450 with installation of about $200 plus HST. They also advised that Samsung has issues with control boards.
Samsung advised us that it was out of warranty and I explained how they can build a machine with dies within less than 2 years of regular use. They did escalate to upper management but would not do anything. I continued to explain that building such a defective product is bad for the environment and I would not be returning as a customer. There is all this concern on the environment but manufacturers are doing little to help and leaving it all to the consumers. The quality of products is very poor with everything going to the landfill for the everyday consumer to pick up the tab. Issues are noted all over the internet via reviews.
Something needs to change, there needs to be more protection for consumers. I used to work for a company who manufactured products and was proud of the quality but today too many companies are cutting corners and just do not care, we see it everywhere with products, software (security) and data breaches. I am done with Samsung or any other company that doesn’t take pride in the work or stand behind their products. Lost a customer for anything they produce as I will never buy anything with their name on it or affiliated.

Horrible dishwasher. The “cutlery top tray” does not clean at all! Must hand wash all cutlery. If I wasn’t forced to buy what was in stock I would have returned this day 1. The touch screen works sometimes and if you open it to add something you have to restart it. Waste of money.

I have a Samsung dishwasher with the worst quality of any dishwasher I ever owned. It was expensive, stainless steel and loaded with different problems. Both baskets completely fell apart, rust everywhere, see pictures. Aside from that it makes a loud random noise when cycling, the soap dispenser fell apart like the baskets, it in levels itself over a few cycles due to excessive vibration. It has been this way since year 2 and 3 of ownership. Samsung agreed it was a quality issue but refused to replace parts to make it right. My family is potentially exposed to whatever materials are coming from the deteriorating baskets (hopefully not lead).
I strongly encourage to do your research before buying Samsung appliances. They told me they were sending someone to analyze at no cost to. The next day they changed story and tried to charge me over $200 to come look + cost of parts that I know is over $500. Why would anyone pay same amount to fix a junk washer vs replacing with a new other brand? Horrible customer service experience.

This is by far the worst dishwasher I have ever used. I wish I had researched this product more before purchase. A bottom bracket broke shortly after purchase so we lost use of half the bottom rack, many of the racks fold without intention. The top sprayer self adjusts so the door cannot close and therefore not wash. So I have to remove everything from the top and adjust the connection. The tiny top rack will hold a knife but not a serving utensil. The middle rack will not accommodate many items and they must be placed on the bottom and that will not allow the top washer to spin. This product is a design nightmare. I can't be stuck with this for very long, I'll have to lose money and buy another unit.
