I already know that my water was hard. My wife worked at Home Depot and my brother has a softener from RainSoft. So, when the RainSoft rep came out and did the presentation, I was like, "Don't waste my time. Just explain to me which one you think I need with the number of people I have in my house and the size of my house." He was fairly okay with details. The quote was expensive, but I've purchased one myself from Home Depot and put it in myself and I wind up having problems with that a few years later. So, hopefully, I don't have any problems with this one. If I do, hopefully, I'll call RainSoft and they'll come out and take care of it. The system has a lifetime warranty. The installer was courteous and respectful. Our water now is like it's supposed to be. It's just there's a slimy-like feeling when you take a shower.

We got a RainSoft water softener system for the whole house. We got a phone call from Home Depot initially, and we set up a consultation which was very quick and easy. We had the consultation the same day that we received the phone call. The interaction with the salespeople with RainSoft was good. As far as the installers, the original one was excellent. They were very responsive. Somebody had to come back because the system was leaking. The second guy wasn't as efficient, and he wasn't even as friendly as the first one. He ended up slicing one of our water line. There was water everywhere.
We had to have our gardener come in and fix it back up. The original team also came back and found the problem because we were still seeing water around. The water line that had been sliced was patched up with electrical tape, and it didn't do diddly squat, but he was able to at least fix it temporarily. We're very happy with the RainSoft system, but we really weren't pleased with how it looks attached to our home. We have a brand new home, and the aesthetic of where they installed it and how it was installed wasn't very pleasing. So, we're not thrilled with that aspect because it does not look good.

We love RainSoft. When we moved into the neighborhood, the HOA said that they recommended it. I had known other people that have gotten the system so, I was already familiar with it. We set up an appointment and RainSoft sent a salesman. He did his demonstration and we liked the idea. He was very good. The team came to do the installation and they were very thorough and professional. It was done well, very fast and efficiently. We got the whole system and they got the tanks out there in the garage. Since having the system, it’s nice when you take a shower.

We like RainSoft. We had chlorinated water and when their rep did the water test, I was not surprised. We bought their under the sink system and the installation took about an hour and a half. After they were done, right away, we noticed a difference in our water.

Sitting on my couch one late afternoon I received a knock at my door. A local representative presented herself professionally and personable regarding the purpose of her visit. I agreed to the free water test after a discussion regarding current status of the local water resources and provider. Less than a week after, I received a call from a very courteous customer service employee providing the results. After a very detailed conversation, I agreed to further investigation via in-home appointment with a sales representative. He spent almost two hours reviewing the results of my free water test and showing real time examples of my current water supplier's quality vs. the RainSoft product results. The difference was quite surprising and "eye-opening".
Long story short, after all the very detailed and informative information and demonstrations by the sales representative, I agreed to installation of the relevant solution specific to my current issues and needs without any pressure to purchase any other additional solutions provided and offered. After agreeing to purchase their product solution, a technician was onsite NEXT DAY to install the system purchased.
Once again, the technician was exceptionally professional and went above and beyond what he originally expected (installed an electrical outlet in the area I requested the system to be installed that previously didn't exist). Overall...I am absolutely satisfied with RainSoft throughout the entire process, most importantly, the improved difference it has made on my water system for all uses. Lastly, the lifetime warranty that also provides transfer of service to another property if you move is a huge benefit. Highly recommended!!!!

We bought this system RainSoft in 2022, we have one for the entire home plus we bought another system for under the sink for Alkaline water. The system under sink did work for 2 month and stop coming out water from the faucet, we call the company for warranty and they said $215.00 for the visit plus $75.00 per every 30 minutes pass. I said to them that the system was new and had warranty but they said the warranty was only in parts not in service. If we do not pay what ever they want to charge for the service, labor, NO warranty. Now the system from outside is leaking water and we needed to turn it off. We paid around $8,000 dollars and the system do not work, inside or out. Not correct, this is a scammer, Next step is to sue them, call the news and check with the lemon.

The presentation was great. It was very detailed, and the rep performed a water test on the spot and showed us what the quality of our water was and what the Rainsoft product would be able to do for us. The softening system we got has two components to it. One of them being just a big vat of salt, and the other one being where the water initially flows through and it's dispersed through our entire home. We also, along with that softening system, bought the reverse osmosis system for our drinking water. Our water tastes better, and when we bathe, we feel that our skin retains its natural oils. Rainsoft is rather expensive, but it's a good investment in our quality of life and overall health.

The in-home visit with RainSoft was enough to sell us. So far, the system is working. We noticed a difference. The water now is good. It has a better taste. I feel better when I get out of the shower, too. We just need to figure out how to buy and order other ingredients. We need more stuff like soap.

I had just bought my house and I was getting postcards in the mail talking about, "Hey, we got a free gift card for you." I called, and the first company that I had gotten ahold of couldn't finance me. Another one I talked to was RainSoft, and we had the appointment set up. They came out, showed us the demonstration, and we loved their equipment. We tried to get them, they approved us, and installation went really smoothly. The price of the equipment could be cheaper, but at the same time, for everything that we got and the benefit, it's a good price.
We got the water filtration system that goes outside to the main valve and the whole house. We also got the CleanStart that hooks up to our washing machine. We don't need it, but it's cool. We don't need laundry detergent in order to wash our clothes. We got the air filter for the AC unit as well. I'm on a CPAP machine, and we were thinking about the reverse osmosis system because then I ain't got to buy distilled water anymore. However, we didn't need that one. The reps said that the water filtration system from RainSoft lowers the pH balance so well that I can use regular tap water in my CPAP machine. I've already tried to recommend RainSoft to some people, but unfortunately, some people say, "I'm not worried about it."

It's been a good experience and RainSoft. The sales rep wasn't pushy and I liked him being able to show us exactly how bad our water was. The installation took two hours which I thought would be right about the amount of time needed.

My kids have eczema and health issues and the water system is helping with their skin. The kids noticed a difference in the shower, and we have good drinking water. Everything is great. Rainsoft had great pricing, and quick and easy setup. They were super fast at installing. Overall, I like it.

I wish more people knew about RainSoft. We got the whole home system and the reverse osmosis under the sink. I loved everybody that we met with. The installers were in and out quick. It went smooth. Our laundry is cleaner. You know how sometimes you wash clothes and the laundry still has that weird crunchy feel to it? That's gone. And my skin is not as dry after a shower. And I love the taste of the water.

When the young lady from RainSoft, Tracy, came in, she was very thorough. She answered all the questions. They showed us the difference in the water that we were drinking and the water that we could get with the RainSoft. She was good. The water is like night and day. It tastes amazing. I'm glad that anywhere that we can go, if I need to get water out of my sink now, it still tastes the same. It's refreshing. I was not a huge water drinker, but now, since we've gotten the unit, I got water bottles everywhere. Also before, when we took showers and baths, it felt harsh on the skin. With the new filter, my skin just feels better. As far as the unit goes, it lets you know when it's time to refill the salt basket. And right now, they were saying that my salt basket will last about a year before I have to do anything with it.

RainSoft Water Treatment Systems' rep was very thorough. He was very straightforward with all the information. Made sure that everything was accounted for when he talked about it. He was very in-depth with everything in his personal experience as well that he has had with RainSoft in his own home as well. It's a very adequate system for our home as far as servicing at least a family of four. But some things that were advertised were not as accurate. For example, it was mentioned that by going to a water softening, that it would remove any excessive scum lines related to toilet water as well as a residual scum found in your bathrooms. That was not true. We continued to have the same issue after the RainSoft.
I didn't expect the installation of the additional faucet that we had. We had the additional faucet filtration system. I didn’t expect it to be such a large unit that would sit underneath my sink. So, it took up the majority of my space underneath the sink, which I did not expect for it to do, and I had to relocate all my stuff. But the upkeep has been okay so far. I still got plenty of salt in the bin for the machine to run on. Everything ha been reliable as far as staying powered on. Whenever it's powered off, it doesn't run, so everything free flows through it that can. Due to the hurricane we had recently, we had a bit of time when it had no power, so the water that came out was still clean. But longevity of the machine just concerned with power dips is the only thing. It's an overall good product.
When you go to refer and look at it, make sure that you reviewed where you would like to put it, and have available time for whoever would come to talk to you so they could have the full same experience that we've had, which was a very good one. I hope that whoever wants a referral for this would have those kinds of things ready, because everybody's house is not the same.

The RainSoft representative was very nice and knowledgeable. I told her I was very impressed by what she told me, because even though I wasn't a water operator, I learned a lot from my husband. She explained everything to me just like I was in elementary school, so I understood what she said. It's not like she used all this technology and verbiage that was way over my head. I liked that not because I wouldn't understand it, but because I know that she was not out to con me with these big words.
A typical contractor came in and put the water softener system in. Very friendly and explained everything to me. The water is softer and soaky. It's a big difference. When you have town water, there would be certain times of the year when it's hot outside, you have a lot of chlorine smell, which they have to do because they have to make sure there are no germs in the water. But our water has no chlorine.

I wasn't sure what brand the guy would pitch when he came here. And when he told me it was RainSoft, it rang a bell. It's a long-standing name. And his demo was very convincing. He had the water right there at my spigot and showed us the results of this test. The main part I wanted was the part about the water not needing as much soap. And all the good soaps that came with the system was something I didn't know about. I knew about drinking water. But it all came together.
The young man was very bright. He came in. The electrical was in a location that he could reach to. He said everything was smooth, and he was out in a few hours and installed. He showed me all the ins and outs of what to do, where the system is hooked to. He was very informative. It almost feels like the water doesn't rinse the soap off, but it does. It just leaves my skin softer. It's a lot of money, but it's worth it. They're worth every dime. The way water systems are going, it's a tough pill to swallow but it's an investment in your health. It's good, clean water.

I was at Home Depot and curiosity got the best of me. RainSoft’s sales process was very informative. Killeen, the area that I live in, always has boil notices and now that I got the system, I don't have to worry about that issue for the most part. The system is expensive though. We got the reverse osmosis drinking water as well as the system itself. I got the whole maintenance and warranty for just about everything on it and RainSoft’s techs brought the bag of salt with the system and showed us how to put the salt in. My wife’s face cleared up a lot because the water now is not as hard so it's not damaging her skin.

The consultation was great. We did a water test and I got the regular water softening system. The installers were super fast and they explained the maintenance and it might be a little difficult to add the salt because of the weight of the the bag itself. But other than that, I can tell the difference in the water mostly in the way my skin feels and in the taste of the water.

I am happy with the quality of the water from our unit. I have a problem with the service that we get from the company. There was a crack in the threads of the installed pipe and it was fixed and it happened again. Now we have green water and a brown tint to the water. I would not recommend only because of the service. Very expensive labor cost.

$10,000 for some monopolized water softener package. Oh well, lesson learned. Expensive filters need to be replaced every year (filters only sold by the company). Better products with easier filter change on Amazon.
In order to maintain the quality of the filter and its ability to remove the contaminants that it has been tested for, we have to be sure replacement filters cannot be substituted by a cheaper, inferior product. The NSF/WQA testing/certification process is expensive and therefore the overall cost of these filters will be significantly higher than something customers can buy on line. By providing proprietary filters, you can be assured you're providing your family with the finest drinking water available. Please feel free to call RainSoft at (800) 860-7638 with any questions or concerns you may have with your system.

It's just gonna be another consultation. He's just gonna try and convince us to sell something.” Once he started to show us about the hot water, how we drink this water, and that we don't want to drink the bottled water, and even when we wash our clothes, I was like, “Oh, that's interesting.” So, that's what convinced us. He came up with a lot of scenarios where I was like, “Oh.” Even when we shower or shampoo and our hair and our skin, I was like, “Wow.” So, we've been with it for a month or two and we like it. RainSoft reached out to us, and then they came and did their consultation. My wife brought up they had a RainSoft system growing up back in their hometown and she really liked it and she was very keen on wanting to get it. So, we got a basic RainSoft system and an oxidation for the laundry system. We're surprised how quickly we were able to see immediate results with the water tasting less bleachier, and we were able to start using less cleaning products immediately where we didn't have to put as much water in it or the concentration was less. We were happy we are able to clean our laundry with less detergent. So, we were very surprised to get results as quickly as we did.

RainSoft put a bunch of tanks in the basement. It cost us almost 12 grand, which, after I looked online, was a bit pricey compared to some other ones. But the testing that they showed us was a nice presentation. And the guy that we had for that was cool. Our water is very slimy and soft. It takes extra time to rinse when we're in the shower. But things are cleaner. We don't have to use as much of our soap and conditioner. Also, there is no smell. We're happy with it.

The guys that did the water testing were great. It was one of the simplest processes that I went through. It was a little long but other than that, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I purchased the whole house water filtration specifically for extreme hard water, calcium and sulfur. Rainsoft's entire process included building a shed to house the stuff and then making it winter-proof. So everything is insulated. I couldn't have asked for better. The price was rough. But they offered financing at a pretty decent interest rate and my payment is $100 a month.
It took a couple of days to clear out my hot water heater and my ice maker. But after that, it's been phenomenal. Also, they give you 13,000 points to buy those GoHealthy360 products. I was a little hesitant but the products are freaking amazing too. I wouldn't necessarily do the hair care for very long. But the cleaners and the hand soap are concentrated, and with the initial stuff that they gave me, I have enough soap and cleaner for at least five years.
Hard water and calcium builds up in your pipes and if I had let it go, I would have been looking at an entire pipe redo in a handful of years. But since having the system, there's a distinct difference in my humidifier and tea kettle. There's no scale builds up in my tea kettle. I wished I could have afforded something like this many, many years ago. You can also take the system with you. Rainsoft will come and move it and reinstall it.

I got a system that filters throughout the house. We have the filter outside and all of the other equipment under the kitchen sink. We now have better-looking skin and our clothes are cleaner. I notice a brightness in the laundry, everybody's skin is all glowy, and the water tastes amazing. Also, I love the little spigot on the side of the sink that they installed for bottled water. It's so convenient. I was looking for a new fridge to have filtered drinking water and when they told me that the system would give me what I needed, I thought it was awesome. I love it. I appreciate just how affordable it is and how it didn't negatively impact my credit to get this for my home. Since moving to Middletown we have observed how hard the water was over the years. This water had corroded faucets, shower heads and had calcium build up around our toilets, washer machine and in our dishwasher. We sometimes notice brown water when turning on the faucet in the bathtub. We also noticed that the water was causing skin irritation such as itchy, dry and cracked skin. We went to visit a dermatologist regarding these condition. The dermatologist’s prognosis was that the conditions were possibly due to harsh water in Delaware. Unfortunately, we had to spend a lot of money on various prescribed ointments and creams. We also spent a lot of money on bottled water due to the taste.
We had our water tested and it showed presence of chemicals that could be detrimental to our health over a period of time. After the water testing, the representative discussed the health benefits of a Rain Soft System due to its high PH balance in the water. Since installing the Rain Soft System, the water is cleaner, fresh tasting, and fresh smelling. We no longer have the need to use heavy creams or lotions or purchase bottled water. They do the periodic maintenance. They said, "You don't have to call us. We will remind you then you can book an appointment." For the annual appointments, they give us a call and we book the appointment accordingly to what we feel is right, if we are available at that time or we tell them we'd call them back.
As soon as the system was installed, we could feel the difference right away. With the normal water which we used to use in our old house versus when the purifier was installed in this house and we started using it, we could feel that our skin is not that dry and itchy anymore. It's feeling soft. Even the drinking water taste is totally different. It's so nice and I feel I want to drink more water. I don't even drink water outside. I just take my water from home. I got RainSoft's water filtering system and the reverse osmosis in the inside of the kitchen. It was a total of $9,500 which I paid in full in cash. However, I'm not too satisfied. They put up all the filters but they didn't hook up the electricity because I didn't have electricity to the point. The installer said they were gonna get the 110 from the well outlet. Some electrician was gonna come in and do that but I never had electricians at my house from the company. I had an extension cord in my yard for two weeks. I had to get an electrician, put the 110 on and hook it up to work right. Nothing that RainSoft said was gonna happen happened after the installation so I'm worried about their credibility as far as their warranties go. They also said I was gonna get a call from the company and see how the installation went but I never had that either. I recommend the system, but I don't recommend the service.

I've had a RainSoft system for about 20+ years because the water is so hard here. I had no problem with it but recently, the system went bad, so I called them and they came out. They said it was so old and they didn't have parts anymore, then they sold me a new system. I was told that it takes a bag of salt every six months or so, where the blocks were quite often, and that's all I need to do for its maintenance. It's a good system and it lasts a long time. With it, the water feels softer and makes your skin really feel silky in the shower. And when you wash dishes, the soap works.

We are so pleased with your water filtration system. Having clean and safe water is essential for our home. We are so happy with the drinking water and when we take a shower. Also, their products are safe and long-lasting. The washer works better as well since we installed the filters. Filters last about one year. The service is good, and they are very responsive. So far, we are pleased and enjoy our water system. Thank you, Rain Soft!

I’ll start with the company installing the system using the wrong screws. It caused the system to flood my garage and cause mold damage. The company came out and only wiped off the visible, leaving the mold underneath and behind the water heater. They partially painted the area and left. Mold continued to grow and I ordered a mold report and mold was present and the most toxic type of mold was listed. Submitted a claim to insurance and the company said they refused to cooperate since they came out and “fixed” the issue and I was “satisfied.” Damages were over $5000! Do not purchase through this company.

The rep came with his little briefcase with all his tubes and tested the water. He showed me what was good and what was bad water. RainSoft is a good investment. The system consists of two tanks and a retainer for the salt and then another connection for outside water. It's low maintenance. You just check the salt and make sure that the recipient is full. Since we had the system installed, the water doesn't smell anymore and it seems to be doing a better job as far as cleaning. The only thing I notice is it's slimy when you're taking a shower and I told RainSoft about that because I've had soft water before. The rep said that’s the way the water feels when you have soft water.

Rainsoft is a great company. They did the install a little later in the evening because of timing for my husband and I being off work. It was a 4:00 to 6:00 window, so it got a little dark on them and they had to use some extra lighting that we had. Other than that, installation was quick and easy for them, and they were finished within the time window. Now, I'm comfortable drinking out of the water everywhere, which is nice, and I can tell my skin feels better too. I just like fresh water. My husband's very happy too.

We've had the Rainsoft system for 14 years and it's working okay. The maintenance is regular. They come every six months to change the filters and adjust the unit in the basement which is the water filtration. At the time, I also got the air filters that I returned because they give off ozone. I have health issues and my doctor told me not to have any devices that give off ozone. They returned it and I got full credit.
I hope more people would have water softener systems in their home because you see the difference. The taste when you drink the water is different. The girls noticed that their hair is softer and more malleable. We're extremely satisfied with the products from Rainsoft. I wouldn't be able to live without it. Even when we go to hotels and other places, we immediately notice the difference in water. I have told a lot of my friends that Rainsoft is amazing. But it's an expensive system. Not everybody is willing to get it. If I were to acquire one today, I probably would go with the other suppliers that are offering a monthly payment. You pay it monthly and it's free maintenance.

The RainSoft rep was very factual, upfront, and right to the science of the matter. We ended up getting the builder's version. It was the base model. It's all I can afford. They all do the same thing. We don't need the stuff with the app to the phone. We don't need all the data coming in. We just wanted the hardware. But each option was explained and based on our pockets and our budget. Everything worked out.
They said the installation would take about three hours. It took about two and a half. The installers were professional and courteous of my house. I work from home. So, they were easy to get it done and explained exactly what they were gonna do. I took a shower three hours after they left. I usually bathe around four o'clock and everything was instantly softer. The drinking water was the biggest impact. It tastes pure. Before, we were using those Amazon filters. After installation, instantaneously, I was drinking the water for the suggested drinking with the added filters under the sink, and it was delicious, and it continues to be.
As far as maintenance, once per year, there'll be a replacement filter. We got this installed in March. So, in March of 2025, we will have to replace the filters, which they said around 70 bucks to replace once a year. There is also maintenance for the rock salt for the softener in the garage. We got two complimentary free bags that came with it. So far, in the course of two and half months that have gone by, I've only had to put one bag in.

They went through the filters that need to be replaced, and how or where to replace them, as well as where to locate that information in the booklet. I had an awesome experience with RainSoft. They hit you blind side because it comes off a program from Home Depot, but they make it fair for you to get everything started. The installation team cleaned up very well. They even cleaned up the boiler tank. They wiped the top of it off. They moved around and it seemed like nothing was ever touched.
With Rainsoft, the water is better and softer. You can taste the difference when you drink it. You feel it when you take a shower. There's a biodegradable soap that comes with your purchase. You get 10,000 points and they refer to it back in points. You can either spend your own cash or the points that are provided from your purchase. They sell you concentrates too. You mix it in their provided bottles with the softened water that you have. We have laundry soap, dish liquid, shampoo, conditioner, and air fresheners. Now we make all our stuff. We haven't had to buy any cleaning products in a while. If I need a bleach, I got bleach alternative too.
It's a lifetime system that passes to generations so it's a generational income. Once we're done paying for the system, if we move houses, the system comes with us. If we pass away, the warranty goes into our kid's name. The rep said he would give me a call and the system would let us know when to replace the salt. He showed me how to check it. My only concern is how much salt do I have to buy and am I buying the right kind of salt.

We moved into this home in 2012. We bought a new refrigerator from Home Depot, and as a part of a promotion, I was contacted by Home Depot and asked if someone could come by and test our water for hardness and contaminants. I said, "Sure. No problem." They even gave me a gift card for my inconvenience. The guy came in and ran our water through a test. The water was so gross. My wife and I looked at what it was gonna take, and the price was out of our league. But we had noticed that we had acne like we've never had before. It was because of the condition of the water here in Montgomery County, Texas. So we decided to put a softener in and a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen, and we haven't looked back. That was in 2012.
The differences with the water is night and day. The water was causing stains in the toilet and in the bottom of the tub. The water was hard, too. You'd be in the shower and you couldn't even get the bar soap to lather up because of the hardness of the water. Immediately after the installation, it was beautiful. I love taking a shower because I knew I was getting cleaner. I felt cleaner. I had brand new t-shirts, and we were wondering why they weren't lasting but a couple of months. Half a dozen washes on a brand-new t-shirt and it was yellow. After we got the softener installed, then all that went away. I did have some issues with the CPVC piping in the house. I'm not saying that it was the fault of the softener, but I think that those pipes have been so corroded. The house was built in '98. And there was probably just a substantial amount of corrosion inside the CPVC. I had a few behind the wall leaks, but it was nothing major. The difference is indescribable.

Also, we have two containers outside that are attached to our water line, so that the water coming out of the shower is also soft water. After installation, the water turned out to be what they had promised, which would be soft water. We've noticed a difference when it comes to the showers, how the skin feels, our laundry, and we drink the water and it's pretty tasty. However, they had told us if we recommended a few people, they'd give us credit on our bill and I gave them my best friend's name but nobody ever contacted him.

The actual product works ok when serviced properly. But we waited about 10 weeks for a filter change, they came, charged us $369.00. They cashed check right away and now it still doesn’t work. I guarantee they will charge again cause this happened before. And now we are on a waiting list again for service. We are buying water and we paid almost $7000 for this water treatment product. We have called customer service and the main company and they do nothing. Maybe some areas are better but where we live we would have been better off getting a $2000 one. We had one for about 15 years and it worked great. We got sold by all the promises this product would do. It has failed and we can’t even use the water. Research your local area before buying one and be careful cause the main overall company doesn’t care or help.

This is a terrible system. I was totally lied to. I was told I would have to buy any more bottled water. But I have never been able to stop buying it. When you have a child aged 4 that tells you the water tastes nasty you know it tastes nasty. I have the water thing under my mitch sink too and still nothing. I should have stuck to my old system, it still worked. Only difference is this one cost a lot of money and still can’t drink the water like they said I would be able to. Don’t waste your money!!!
According to our dealer in Florida, the customer's system was installed 3 years ago and this is the first they are hearing from them. Unfortunately, they were unaware they were having any issues. We recommended that the pre and post filters be changed once a year on the reverse osmosis unit, and yearly maintenance on the whole house system(s) for those customers who are on well water. Our dealer has been in contact with the customer to schedule an appointment for maintenance on their system.

The sales rep from RainSoft and the consultation visit were very good. The rep explained and showed us the samples from our water. We had a Primo water dispenser. We told him right away that we knew our water was bad. So, then he showed us what we were drinking if we were to drink that water. We bought a RainSoft water system. I like the attitude of the guys who came to install. They were very nice young men. They left all the paperwork here. They did explain and we videotaped them because we don't remember everything. When they were adding the salt and fresh water to use some of that, my daughter videotaped that so we could have it on our files.
Since we've had our system installed, we have great drinking water. We notice the difference even when we shower. It's a lot of money, but it's very well worth. For us, since we have Social Security checks, it's a bit but it’s worth it because we need clean drinking water, and I like that it will be left to somebody if we’re no longer around. I called yesterday because they had said that we would get a gift card to shop at Lowe's, and they would be on our phone. I haven't heard anything on that, so I called and I got somebody on the phone. They were gonna let the higher-ups know. They were very nice.

And when they forgot to add something, I showed them and they went in without hesitation and did what they needed to.

I rented a house in Toms River, New Jersey, which is a cancer cluster. The rental unit that I had had a RainSoft unit and the water was fantastic. So when I bought a house about two years later, I bought a RainSoft unit and I loved it. I couldn't unscrew the whole unit and take it with me, so when I retired, I bought another one. So this is my third go-around with RainSoft.
I'm in Greensboro, North Carolina and the water here is pretty bad to the point that they won't even admit what kind of chemicals are in the water. It's horribly chlorinated to the point that when you take a shower, you actually get stoned on the chlorine smell. You can't drink the water out of the tap. So I went to Home Depot and I was looking at what they had for sale. Then I got a phone call and they said, "How would you like for someone to come out and test your water?" So they came out and tested the water. It was RainSoft, which I was thrilled. I did not know they were down here because they don't advertise enough here. But they came, plugged it in, and did their drill work. I've had the unit here for about a month and I could drink the water and take a shower without getting stoned on the chlorine. So I'm very happy with my purchase.

It took them about an hour to do it and since then, the water has been softer, smoother, and cleaner.

We got the water filtration system for the whole house. The installer was very professional and knowledgeable. He mentioned that after one and a half year, they would send a reminder to me regarding when I need to replace the filters. They told me that somebody was gonna be coming in to replace it for me and then after that, I have to do it on my own. Since having the system, we don't smell chlorine anymore in the water. RainSoft called me to do the appointment for the water testing. We set up a date then they called me to double check the appointment. The sales rep was very approachable and knowledgeable of what he was doing. I went for the high end system. The installer showed me how everything worked and how to bypass everything in case anything stopped working so I could still have water in the house. They showed me at least the basics of how the system works. The other guy that came in after the installation to make sure that everything was working correctly and the water was being treated correctly was good too.
I was expecting the cost was a bit less but the system is doing what it's supposed to do. The water is much softer and it's much better to take a shower. The faucets are not getting hard water stains and everything cleans up much better. The clothes are coming out softer and the car is washed better. I can just rinse off the cars, take a little bit of time then go back and dry them up. There are no water spots or marks on them like it used to be.

Once RainSoft came with the free demonstration, it was a no-brainer. Marcel, the salesman, was awesome. He was very thorough, informative and took his time. The difference between clean water and bad water was very clear. The inspection guy was awesome as well. Even the installer was good and knew what he was doing. He went over how to use the system with me as well as what you gotta do if there’s an emergency. There's nothing to it. It runs on its own. I was there with the guy the whole day. He was there for four hours. I was expecting it to be a little faster but it was a long run and he wasn't expecting that. There was a lot of digging but he did well. He was cool. He was a family guy so we got along great.
My hair is soft and we were ashy people before this. Now, there is no ash. The water is softer and the cleaning is easier as well. When you wash your dishes, the spots aren't there anymore. The company doesn't have to sell the product. The product sells itself. If you want healthier water for your family, call RainSoft. It’s expensive but it has value. It was just an all-around good experience. So, I recommended it to my sister and she went with the system. RainSoft was able to help out my sister as well.

Our RainSoft system is fantastic. I wish we would have had it when we first moved into Texas in the rental. If I had known how good it was, I would have bought it out of my pocket back in a rental property instead of buying it in a new home. It works out very well. We use it to drink water. The reverse osmosis system works perfectly and we don't get any spots. The bathroom and the showers are clean. We don't even have to squeegee them. They don't stain like the hard water. The only drawback is the way it's set up, but it's not RainSoft's fault. With the way the house is built for the outside water, you have to turn off the filtration so you're not spraying filtered water or salt water in the plants. My wife noticed that her plants were dying when she watered them with filtered water.
Overall, I've had no problems with the company. They've been fantastic. The guy who did the whole thing was very knowledgeable and forthcoming. The price is a little on the high side, but we did get the highest package. So far, we are getting our return because I'm not buying as much bottled water as I was before. We've dropped that down by 98%.

RainSoft's rep was very good and informative. Also, the installers got the job done. They just had to dig a hole and do piping. I've had them back three times. However, I will call them today and get them back because it's something's wrong. They told me that I have soft water. They also told me that I use a lot less detergent dish soap. But I do not. I put more han I would have. I start a load of laundry. I let it agitate for a bit. I lifted the lid, but I don't have suds. I said to my husband, “Why don't I have suds in my washing machine? I have just water.” It was baffling.
I've had water softeners before, and you have to cut down on your soap and couldn't get the slippery off your hands because it's so soft. This is not working that way. It was okay for a day. And they came back and said that they didn't install it correctly. They switched wires. They came back again, tested it and said, “It's working. It's good. Let me test the water inside.” They tested, but I don't have suds. I thought they would be on top of it and would call and say, “How's everything going?” They're a big company. But they've been here four times. I paid cash on the spot for the unit.

I went with whatever she recommended and got a system for the whole house. I only had one spigot going outside that is not treated.
Since installation, I've seen 100% improvement. The water tastes better, I don't have spots on my dishes, no film in the bathroom, and I can drink water right out of the spigot. The upkeep is nothing except putting salt in it about every 18 months and it has a computer on it that'll tell me when I need to do it or if anything goes wrong with it. It's pretty dummy-proof and I tell my neighbors it's great. Eli, the rep from RainSoft, was fantastic. We said no at first and then we changed our mind. We worked the system into the budget and worked with Eli on a payment system. He was very amicable and got along with my dog, which was great. He did this fun interactive thing where we washed our hands with his water and then our water. Using our soap, you could feel the difference. Then, he did this test where the water turned yellow and when he stuck his finger in it, you could see the chlorine cling to his skin, which was wild. I bought the water softener which has two large cylinders and it's all in our basement hooked up to the water, and the salt that you fill in this separate container. We also got the triple osmosis system for clean drinking water.
The system comes with an app so we don't have to even remember that we have it until the time comes and the little app notifies us. We go down there every now and then to check it. RainSoft did an amazing job installing it. It would have been so much easier for them to install it in this other corner but I wanted it to be tucked out of the way. We have a pool table down there and I didn't want it to be blocking that. So, they put these things on our ceiling. Then, the guys who installed the system ran into a problem and talked to me about it. We talked about where I wanted the filters, then they had to do it on another side because the granite counters and the edging was wrong. It wouldn't fit. So they had to put it in different locations. But they were very communicative about it and asked if that was okay with me.
Since we got the system, our water has been awesome. It's so clear. And before, I used to have to refrigerate my water and the filter just to make it taste good. But now, I drink right out of the little tap and I don't even have to make it cold to drink. It's an excellent product but I don't really recommend it to any of our friends because it's a higher-priced item and we're all retired and old.
I talked to my sisters about it though because they get the bottled water. When they came to visit, I showed them the system and I told them why I got it. I don't have a place for a stand with a bottle and I can't lift those heavy things. I also told them the price that I was going to pay off in two years and that they probably spent more than that having this bottled water for over 10 or more years. And if they continued their bottled water for 10 or more years, they'd spend more. I don't use any less soaps than I did before. He stated, "You only have to add salt 2 time a year and keep bleach in the tank." He said this system is maintenance free, what a pile of crap. We are constantly putting salt in the tank, and I have already replaced the chlorine tank hoses once and now it needs it again. I wish I could return it and get my money back.
We apologize for any misunderstanding you received from your local RainSoft dealer. Most water treatment systems installed on well water will eventually need maintenance, and some systems will require maintenance monthly by the homeowner, depending on the quality of the water. We have asked your local dealer to address your concerns, but they have not been able to speak with you. Your local dealer is willing to assist you with your questions and provide any needed maintenance on your water treatment system.

The sales rep with Rainsoft opened my eyes to what the water that we were drinking and bathing in was. Everybody I talked to, from the guy that sold the system to me, to the installers, to the help on the phone, were very nice and accommodating. They worked on my schedule, not theirs. They had a problem with some part. They were out the same day, put the brand-new part in and fixed it within a couple of hours. The system is working great.
The water tastes better in that little thing they put in the sink. In the shower, you can tell you're cleaner when you feel your skin. The only thing is my wife has a garden in the backyard. They said, "Don't put this water on the plants. It'll kill them. They need the hard water." The water comes in from the front of the house. I bought one of those big tanks that's got the metal rack around it. I ran a hose all the way to the backyard. I just gave her a hose from that thing to the garden. If I had to do it differently, I would have told them, "I want you to run a line to the backyard. I want some hard water there too."

They took care of the issue and even showed us a couple of things that we didn't know. So, it was beneficial. Also, the system was a little expensive, but it was worth it. We see the difference in just about everything, including the softness of the water and the quality of the taste.

RainSoft has made a tremendous difference in water contact and as far as the system's functioning, I have no problems and it’s been pretty solid. Everybody at RainSoft was awesome and responsive. If I had questions, it was always addressed. Being an engineer, I was looking at the critical aspects of how the installation crew worked and they were spot-on. I was impressed and the installation was outstanding. I was like, “Why are you guys digging that into the ground?” “Oh, that's how we do it in Florida.” I didn't know this. Just to keep it safe, from the sun so it's not exposed to the elements. Right now, I'm going through a little more salt than I expected, but it's all right. But I would hope RainSoft would offer delivery of salt.

We had a water system in our last house, but I left it there. We just bought this house and moved into it, and we needed to get something right away. We were going through Home Depot and RainSoft had an offer going on. The guy came out and did a demonstration, and the new water system was installed within a week. It works perfectly, and we like it. However, the filters need to be changed. Some of them are annual filters, and what I had before, I would have to change three filters every six months. I had that filter for several years, and I liked that too, but when this came up, my wife and I really liked the presentation. We were also concerned about the water quality that we had, and we wanted to have that checked.
This new system is making our water a lot better. We use it for our coffee, our drinking water and our cooking, and it's been good. The overall cost was a little more expensive than what we paid for the other one, but it's well worth it. Home Depot had a deal where it would cost the same as cash for a two-year period as well, so we did that. We don't have to pay any interest on it. We're paying a monthly fee to pay the system off as soon as we can. That was good for us.

I met a lady who was a RainSoft sales representative, and she was very personable and thorough. She explained everything about the company, compared it to other companies, and shared the pros and cons. She came and did all the demonstrations in my home, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was very pleasant. The system was put in the day before Thanksgiving, and the only person who installed the equipment had a difficult job to do because it couldn't be installed inside the garage. It took him a long time to dig trenches along the side of my house, put all the piping in and run electrical through my kitchen wall, and on top of that, it rained as well. Still, he did an excellent job. It's an old house system, so the water quality is much better.

The gentleman with RainSoft, Michael, went over everything with us. We liked what he had to say about the product. The system has the salt that removes the bad stuff from the tank when it refreshes. The water is a lot softer and the taste is a lot better. These GoHealthy360 products that were also recommended for us seems to be a good deal too. It uses a whole lot less soaps ‘cause of the water being the way it is now. The only thing that bothers me is that the internet connection doesn't work very well. I have a 5G connection and the application used in the RainSoft system is only 4G compatible. RainSoft needs to work on that because I can't use my phone to tell me when it's fixing to flush.

RainSoft's reps came and did the testing. I had another outfit in and they cost way more money. We’re talking about over $10,000 and you can put a well down for that almost. I ended up buying one tank with the air thing and the water softener type one from RainSoft. Since I got that, there has been a little tint to the water but there's not much. Before, even the cold water stunk and it was pretty bad. The stuff was almost orange. So far, the RainSoft thing runs once a day and they got it set for midnight when it comes in and runs for an hour. And it's flushing out and doing its thing. It also makes a lot of noise when it first starts.
Other than that, RainSoft is doing the best they can and if my friends ask me about getting their system, I'd tell them to go for it. They were really good. They're even testing the water again to get it. Right now, I'm waiting for the heating contractor to come in and put a hot water heater in because the water is so bad. There's got to be about four inches of gunk at the bottom of that tank and those things rust out. So we might as well get that out of there and then we'll have even better water.

The Rainsoft rep that came out was very professional and even shared how she got connected with it. It was very pleasant. It was expensive, but if I ever move, I only have to pay the labor to have it taken off and reinstalled at my new house. So it can go with me. The system doesn't hardly take up any space. I was really impressed with that. Also, it's very easy to use. I can go down and turn these two keys and bypass it. I like that feature. I've never seen that before. I've noticed a big change with my water, like my coffee maker doesn't get the white deposits in the tank. Also, we don't need as much soap when we're showering or washing our hair. My son noticed it immediately, too. I've been real happy.
The installation guy was very polite. He was only here maybe a half hour, putting in the system, and then he said, “Oh, let me show you a few things.” So I came down and he showed me how to do those keys in the back if I wanna bypass the system. He also told me that I might hear some noise occasionally because at a certain point, it flows backward and dumps all the water out of it so it gets all the contaminants out and it goes into my sump pump. Then hanging on the system is a chart that tells you when you need to add more salt. But you can look in the bucket, too.

I had a Rain Soft water system installed by Home Depot. Biggest mistake I ever made, I currently have a $10,000 block of ice, no water in my house and when contacted the people that installed it I was basically told to put a blanket on it and wait. Don't do it, I did everything right to keep the extreme temperatures we had from freezing my pipes, I did not realize that this system would freeze, and to make matters worse, when we went to put a space heater in the shed they installed it in, we discovered that the extension cord they installed coming from the house was not long enough so they put in a ten foot indoor extension cord to finish the connection, so had to go out and scour the town and finally had to order one on Amazon to carry the load for the water system and a heater. And according to google I could be up to a week or longer without water. I was however told if it leaks after we get it working they will come out and fix the leaks.

Shortly after purchasing an older home, my husband and I decided to add the RainSoft water system to our home. The system only worked for 90 days. Water started spraying out of the pipe coming from the system into the ground. There was an $100 fee if we had someone come out to determine what the issue was. And I would also be responsible for parts and labor depending on the amount of time it took to repair. We have been paying faithfully for a system that worked for 90 days max with no support from the merchant. This was a very pricey mistake. Two years later has increased to $250 for someone to come out the product that never worked properly. Please don’t waste your time or money.
Thank you for making us aware of this matter. We have reached out to our distributor in Orlando and they don't have any record of this issue. The dealer shows there was a maintenance call scheduled for 3/22/22, but it was cancelled. To date, they do not show any maintenance has been performed.

Their rep said that it's something to do with the oil on your skin, but I don't think that's true.
It is true that softened water feels slippery. When people make a switch to softened water, they sometimes comment that it has a different feeling, describing it as silky or slippery feeling water. That's because the mineral buildup in hard water can make it difficult to create a sudsy lather. With softened water you are no longer feeling the hardness minerals, leaving your hair and skin better hydrated and less irritated. We always recommend using less soap, shampoo, laundry detergents and cleaning products with soft water.

I had the filter and softener put in, and RainSoft did a nice job. But there were some communication issues with a language barrier when we were getting the equipment installed. I have a unique situation with this house and with the well. I wasn't really able to communicate with the guy that was here and I had to have it done correctly or it could cause some real problems. So I talked to the company and they took care of it. The installation was done pretty quickly and since then, things clean quicker. The water is soft, it feels nice, and we use less soap. Also, RainSoft's customer service was good and the guy who came out and did this stuff was wonderful. It was a fair price, too.

The rep was very clear. She gave us all our options. The installation went well. Our water feels and tastes better now. It doesn't leave water marks on everything. Buy a RainSoft. Everything was great and everybody was good.

This company offered a lot of things at the time is selling you the product and after you bought it, everything change, charging a lot of money for anything that they do, nothing of courtesy, the employees with nasty attitude, even the manager. Not recommend this company, because after you started the process and you started to pay all the money that cost, you cannot change it and have to stick up with it. Before you do business with them, think it very hard. Worst company ever.
We apologize for any inconvenience the customer has experienced and trust she is very satisfied at this time.

I had an amazing experience with Rainsoft. My salesperson answered all of our questions that we needed plus extras. My installer was amazing as well. We have really bad water where I live. We also have skin issues such as eczema and dry skin. I like that the water is better with the system. It helps the hair and skin. I use less lotion now. Rainsoft was also very quick with the installation and I appreciated that. The system is expensive but it was worth it.
