When I bought the house, it had a RainSoft system in it already. Then I had to add to it because of the conditions of the water in my area. I had to do the upgrade, and that was expensive though they claimed they did a reduced rate. I'm lucky enough I could afford it, but I wish they could do a more reasonable price. But having the system, I'm not getting the spotting in the shower doors, and the water tastes cleaner.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. I bought a system years ago and have had decent water for periods of time but nothing long term without multiple visits to our home. Now the dealer/ distributor that installed the system says they no longer service our area. The new company just complains that they didn't install the equipment? Thousands of dollars wasted, tons of time and my tubs, toilets and other appliances are ruined from the water? Buy somewhere else!!!!

A very knowledgeable individual from RainSoft came out and tested our water. She was fantastic. She showed us all the good 360 products that we could potentially get with the package. She also showed us all of the different packages that they have. It was a great experience. We bought the reverse osmosis system in the kitchen, and we received it in the latter part of January. It was a somewhat of a discounted rate. Now, water tastes great. It's softer too. We're glad we did RainSoft. Others should try it. We already have a list of people that we’re going to refer to RainSoft. They told us that our system would be paid for if six of the 10 people on our list would purchase as well.

The sales team was very knowledgeable and they showed us what they could do to help us. We got the filtration system and the sink one from RainSoft. The first time the installers came out, they were trying to install it inside, but they couldn't. So, they had to come back and trench it because it was a little bit more tied up than it should have been. Since having the system, we've definitely noticed the difference in how our skin feels. Even my daughter, who came up in December from college, noticed a difference just in the month she was there. It's been a good experience, and it's made our skin and our drinking water much better.

A guy at Home Depot came and talked to me about RainSoft. They took my name and number, and then someone called and came out to do a presentation. One of the people who came talked very fast, but we got through it and understood the basics. He mentioned some products, but I didn’t receive any paperwork stating what they had to be able to use their products.

RainSoft approached me and I liked what they had to offer. So, we bought from them. The representative that helped us was extremely good and very knowledgeable.

Joe ** installed our RainSoft whole house water filtration system. He did an excellent job. He also cleaned up everything and tested the pressure before he left.

Rainsoft reached out through Home Depot, and the customer service was great. We've had the system less than two months, but our water tastes better and our skin is softer.

I feel so much better when we had the Rainsoft system installed in the whole house and the sink, plus the two ACs, especially when it got to me when I heard from the rep that we were using recycled water. Now, I feel safer that I can drink the water from the tap.

We have had a Rainsoft system for a month now. The quality of our water is amazing. The ozone laundry system cleans my husbands dirty work clothes in cold water with practically no detergent. I’ve always been a hot as possible water person for the laundry until now. I’m amazed. We are very happy with our system and the company we got it from has great representatives and installation personnel. Very pleased.

We got RainSoft through a broker and the consultation went very well. They came and did a very full and complete review of what they do and the quality of the water that we'd be working towards. The equipment I checked online is one of the better ones as far as RainSoft is highly regarded. We got a one-tank conditioning system and had a salt filter hooked up to the entire home.

I know my water system was not up to par. A friend of mine told me she had a water system filter installed in her house. I went with RainSoft and the filter and right now, it's not bad. It's doing what it's supposed to do. They told me the only thing I have to do is put salt in it when it goes low, but the technician told me that I probably won't have to put any salt in about a year.

A woman in Home Depot asked me to do a water survey. She said, “You could win a $25 gift card if you do this survey.” So I did, and RainSoft called me and said, “You won the gift card, and if you agree, we'll send somebody out to talk to you about how to improve your water.” We set up a date and the rep called ahead to make sure I was at home. He came out and he did a fabulous presentation.

RainSoft has been fantastic. It's been great. Everything went well with the consultation and the follow-up was good. The manager came to the house to make sure that everything was in place. We got the water filtering system and our water is a lot cleaner, we're using less soap, and the water is absolutely wonderful to drink.

The RainSoft rep did a good job during our consultation. I was impressed. He made it so that the water doesn't smell and it's drinkable. We purchased the whole home water treatment and drinking water system - Hydrefiner II and the EC5 filter well package. There's a difference in the texture of the water, too. I was amazed. It felt hard before. Now, it's soft. Overall, it's just great.

Rainsoft came out, tested my water, and when I saw what their product did, I decided to go with that. Things went great with the sales rep and the the installation was fantastic. The price is a little high, but it's okay.

When we built the house, a water softener was put in by the plumbing. I called that number when we needed to have some work done on the softener and it was RainSoft. They're professional and just very nice to work with. Our water is softer again. It was soft before but it was time to get a new one. Now, it is soft again. It seems to be a little bit softer and feel better on our skin. We just need to add salt, and we’ve been doing it for a couple of months now. If anyone needs a softener or is looking to buy one or any type of filtration system, they should go ahead and ask these people.

RainSoft did their whole presentation. But alongside with the presentation, they also showed me the benefits and the disadvantages that I was currently experiencing. It was very informative. They answered all my questions. I purchased the actual conditioning, the reverse osmosis, which I love, and the air portion of it. Definitely, I've noticed a big difference in the water. The water is definitely a lot softer versus it was a little bit harder. I can tell the difference on my skin. I suffer from eczema and that's helped it a lot. The reverse osmosis, the drinking water portion of it, I can taste the difference in the water from bottled water that we used to buy and even with the regular filters that we used to have.

They brought all the information I wanted during the consultation and it sounded good. Definitely demonstrations were good with testing the water. So far, everything seems fine with the system. It seems quality. The system also pretty much takes care of itself. They explained to me what to do and what to look for. The only thing you have to watch is for salt every so often. But otherwise, it's simple. You don't do anything with it.

Our consultation experience with Rainsoft went great. We had a water softener already, but it had just gone bad. So far, we have no problems with our system. For the first year, they will maintain it. Every three months, they'll check it. After that, if we want someone to maintain it, we'll be charged for it.

We’ve been in this house for 10 years now. The faucets’ cartridges started dripping and they determined those were getting clogged from the minerals. I feel the towels and the laundry are getting really rough as well. My husband went through Home Depot. He researched quite a bit and he talked to a few companies and he settled on RainSoft. We also have a neighbor who has the system and they absolutely love it.

We like Rainsoft. We had RainSoft in the past and we had it at a different house. We got one recently and it was a very good experience. They took care of it all like they're supposed to. We have hard water here and now we noticed a big difference. The pricing is up there, but they have a superior product.

The RainSoft salesman that I interacted with was very enthusiastic and very good at what he did. Very efficient, too. The installation of our system took two days because they had some plumbing things they had to take care of. Since the installation of our system, I noticed a big difference in the taste of the water and in the things that are clean. It's just a little bit expensive, but, in the long run, it'll be worth it.

We’ve been long-time customers of RainSoft. We've used them in our home for the longest time. Now that we get a new house, we wanna fix things up so that in the long run, there are not as much problems. What sold us was they told us that if we get this whole-house water softener system, it would help us maintain our plumbing in better condition. And, it is so true. I’m very happy with it. It was pricey. It was one of those big ticket items you get, but it pays for itself.

We had talked about getting water softeners before but never really looked into it. We got a free gift card for a representative to come and so we scheduled it. Joseph was very professional. When he came in, he didn't try to sell us anything. He showed us the demonstration and it was very powerful because it showed how bad our water was compared to what it was supposed to be. When they came out to install, they explained everything, including the kind of maintenance needed.

The salesperson from RainSoft named MJ was excellent. He even offered us three bags of sodium potassium. When they installed it, they had two bags and the young man went to Home Depot and got the other one. He went above and beyond. The installation guys were fantastic from start to finish. Everything was perfect, we were very impressed.

We purchased the water softening system and the laundry system from RainSoft. My youngest son has a little eczema on his leg and we were treating it with a cream. But since we put the system in, we have not treated it with the cream at all and it seems like it's going away. My hands used to be really dry and cracked, especially in the winter, and I haven't been using lotion this year and they're not nearly as bad as they usually are.

The person that came out to do a presentation for RainSoft did a good job. However, he said he was gonna come back and help us with the ordering, but he never did. They did the install and they were good. They had to come back because they didn't have the shed to put around the thing, but it’s completed now. I can notice the difference in the water and it’s for the better.

Johnson, the rep from RainSoft, did a water test in my home, and it blew my mind. It was thorough and I learned a lot about the type of water we have. I like the comparative analysis of tap water versus filtered water. It was great to see all that’s in there. I had the whole house filtration system installed, which took them a couple of hours. The system is expensive, but the water is good. It feels soft. You need less soap because if you use too much, you're left a little slimy. The water tastes amazing. We feel better and our skin feels healthy. There's less hair falling. The only issue is that there was a bit of a leak from the filter. But the techs came right away. It was due to a faulty washer. It had the tiniest tear in it and they replaced it right away.

If you are looking for high prices, poor service/support and contaminated drinking water, Rainsoft of Chicago is the company to contact. My wife and I are senior citizens, both in our seventies. We purchased a Rainsoft water softener and Reverse Osmosis system in 2023 for almost $10k and have been consistently disappointed in their service and support. If I can, I will attach a pic of my drinking water after their very recent service call; it is filthy. I contacted Rainsoft of Chicago in writing as well as multiple texts to the service tech and they weren’t even professional enough to respond. Please read other customer reviews and for your own good, stay away from Rainsoft of Chicago.

I like Rainsoft. The system is really good. We got the system for the whole house and the installation took 1.5 hours. Our water is better. Having Rainsoft is a good idea.

Rainsoft did their tests and I was impressed, so I purchased it. The installation wasn't that bad. They were just waiting on a part, but that part came fairly quickly and the guy came out the next week and installed the rest of it. It was fairly simple, super easy and barely an inconvenience. Our water now feels like water and the taste is better than the city water.

The guy who installed the system was very talented, patient, and did it professionally. I watched him all the way. I'm satisfied with the water now. I used to have hard water and a lot of calcium buildup, but I am drinking the water now so I am giving RainSoft 10 stars. I was recommending it to my cousin who's close to me but the plumbing here is old style and a little farther from the water heater and washing machine.

I purchased the lifetime upgrade. The unit sprang a leak resulting in 1.5 inches of water in the utility room causing damage to the floor and creating a potentially life threatening situation for me if mold occurs. The owner told me that they don't have anything in place to cover these expenses caused by a breakdown in their unit. As costs continue to rise with this company for service, which you will need, I would never purchase another Rainsoft product from this company. You have been warned!!!

System does not provide stated results, still having nearly $1600.00 plumbing costs for calcium build up etc. Did not resolve calcium and other deposits in my toilets, even with added bowl cleaners. Just had a shower valve and feed lines replaced because of build-up in the lines. Ripoff!!!

I had a good experience with RainSoft. The sales rep was a nice guy and I had a smooth, casual conversation with him. A guy came to install it and he was good. It took him a little bit longer than I expected because he was only one guy, but he did his job. The water quality is different. The smell and taste is different, and we're just satisfied with it. It’s a healthier option. We've been recommending RainSoft to people.

My parents have a RainSoft system. I got it as well since our water wasn't good. Now, the water is better. I would highly recommend RainSoft. They only come out once a year for the upkeep.

The last time they came out to deal with this it cost me 1100.00. Terrible service. The lies I've been told are endless. I am actually scared to call about this ongoing issue of fear of the bill I will get on this supposedly lifetime warranty product.

My husband was actually very impressed with both the RainSoft owner and installer. The owner first came to our home, then spoke with my husband and convinced him to get the system. Then, the installer came out and attached the products.

We purchased a RainSoft package when we had filters upgraded in our house. We had purchased multiple products. We redid the entire household tank, the PFC filter, and the sink for drinking. There was also a water drip tray under the sink, but it was too big for the kitchen area. I just texted the installer and he was very easy to work with when he showed us the plan. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and showed us how to use the system. We have all noticed a difference in the hair and skin. They're now softer and less dry. We've always been very satisfied with RainSoft.

The company that sells RainSoft is also the one that put the generator on my house. I'm familiar with their company. I trust the company that reps it. I needed to have somebody reliable that I was going to deal with. We have terribly hard water and the only way to combat that was to get a system. I started looking into water conditioning and I was doing some research when I was called. The rep asked if I would like to have a salesman come out. He came out that day and his demonstration was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and he answered my questions. The fact that I had been researching about getting a system made it easier for both of us. I purchased the water system right when he was here. Although, I do realize, as only being one person in this house, that the system won't pay for itself. If it was a large family, I can see where it was.

With the RainSoft water system, I know I have cleaner water. I can tell it's softer. The gentleman who did the water testing and demonstration was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and explained it very well. The installer was very experienced, so I was completely satisfied with the service.

The experience with RainSoft went good. The presentation and water testing took only one hour while the installation was more than two hours. They also included the drinking water reverse osmosis in my kitchen. After installation, the texture of the water now feels cleaner.

RainSoft was very supportive, accommodating, and consistent in calling, so I didn’t feel like I had to juggle the responsibility of scheduling the sales visit. It was pretty straightforward. The sales consultant was experienced and very polished. He was awesome.

I live in Cincinnati and the city water is horrible. We thought we were doing our best to filter out all the crap and we were considering a whole house filter. RainSoft came and did some tests on our water. Our water was horrible even after we had already been filtering it out. We had a rating of 40 or 50. The sediment that came out of the water when they put the stuff in the water was disgusting. I was like, “I'm drinking that. I'm giving that to my dog and my kid.” We proceeded with what RainSoft was offering. We got the whole house filter and water softener.

We had RainSoft in our old house and we now have it in our current house. I was automatically contacted by them after buying a refrigerator at Home Depot. I purchased the system with the salt. The installation team was great and showed up on time. The system is attached in my garage and it makes my water softer.

Have had a RainSoft whole house water filtration system for about 22 years. I have been reasonably happy with it until just recently. I have had a RainSoft serviceman out twice this year for repairs and filter replacement and tomorrow will be a third time. At $225 a pop, it's getting expensive. Will be looking to replace it now.

When the rep from RainSoft came out, he came with his whole equipment and started talking to us about the water and if we wanted to get it tested. We said sure. And since we have three kids, for me and my wife, having clean water was very important for us. We didn't really think there was much to it. But once we tasted and saw the difference with the water filter or without the water filter, it was a complete sellout. We wanted to get it. Since having the system, the water tastes different and our skin is a lot softer.

My husband is on dialysis and I was concerned about the water here. A RainSoft representative was in Home Depot and he asked me about our water. He told me about RainSoft and asked if I wanted a free water analysis. The guy came out and showed us things about our water and that the water in our filtered refrigerator was the same as the water out of the faucet. Since getting the RainSoft system, we've had cleaner water, cleaner drinking water, and it's softer on our skin. I like it and I also noticed we can use less detergent. For the system's upkeep, we have to buy the softener salt and put it in. We have the tank downstairs and we check it.

Five years ago, we had RainSoft in our other home. It was our first time and we had some hurdles. This time, the sales rep made the experience a lot easier than the first time. He explained everything and he was amazing. We didn't have to wait that long. He knew the product really well, but we already knew that the product is amazing, so he just made the transaction and the financial aspect of it really easy. The installer was fantastic. He also knew the product. We had some questions, and he answered them to our satisfaction. All in all, it was a very good experience with RainSoft.

Home Depot contacted me because I just bought this house and I heard about RainSoft then. I wasn't even thinking about the water out here until Home Depot set up the appointment, then I saw how bad the water was and I didn't wanna drink that. Chris, the sales guy, was amazing. He did a little lab test and showed us everything. It was awesome to see how bad the water was out here in this town, and then, the way that he tested our drinking water from the Great Value water bottle and how clean that water was, we thought, "Whoa."

We purchased our Rainsoft RO System for under our kitchen sink approximately 4 years ago. The system works well. Beware replacement filters are $300. Other RO systems work just as well and filters are less expensive. Shop around.

The RainSoft rep who came out showed us the differences in the tap water and what RainSoft would look like. They also show us bottled water versus RainSoft and the difference was pretty dramatic. Since having Rainsoft, I can tell the difference when I’m drinking the water, the smell, too, and it's clearly much improved.

The RainSoft guys who came out to my home were pretty good. We were up to 10:30 that night talking to them. I was a little tired, but they explained it all very well and told us how it worked and what it did and showed us with the little samples of how, when you run it through, the difference of the feel of the water. Since purchasing it, my eczema is better. My skin's really soft. The taste of the water is also better. I’ve told my neighbors and family about it.

My experience with RainSoft has been okay so far. We had bad water and now, it’s been a lot better. My experience with their rep has been all right as well.

I wanted a change in my water system because of the hard water we have here in Virginia. The water would leave chemical deposits, magnesium, and calcium on the ends of anywhere the water came out. I purchased a RainSoft water softening system and had it installed in the garage. It was very easy for them to hook it up. I also took their reverse osmosis system that's under the sink that gives reverse osmosis water through the kitchen sink faucet. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the water that comes out of both the water softener and the reverse osmosis system.

So far, we're loving RainSoft. One of the reasons we considered it was because our daughter put one in her first home 10 years ago. Then, she moved to her next home three years ago and she put it in again. She said I needed to get one of those. She also talked about how soft her skin was when she took a bath. The lady who came to talk to us about the water system did a really great job. Also, the person who came to install it did it within the time frame. Seems to have done a great job and everything's working great. We definitely are enjoying it.

We've had a RainSoft system for almost 10 years. I heard it the first time through Home Depot and recently, we upgraded to the new system. It only took the installers about three hours. We upgraded to the new system because it has that new filter that takes out the microplastics out of the water, and it's working out great.

I’ve had RainSoft for six months now and it really makes a difference in our drinking water. We heard about it at Home Depot and the rep we talked to was also very nice.

My experience with RainSoft Water Treatment Systems was good. The sales representative was fabulous. He knew what he was talking about, ran the whole test, and showed us all of that kind of stuff. The installation was easy and took only an hour. The installer just put it in and left. It was great. He didn’t bother us at all. Now we feel safer drinking the water.

The people who installed my RainSoft system were friendly, and it didn’t take long for them to install the system. I did notice, however, that residue shows up on the bottom of one of my glass teapots, even after one turn of heating up the water. The first few, there was that cloudiness, which I know was just bubbles, and that went away. But now I’m noticing residue on the bottom of the glass teapot, which I have to wipe down with a paper towel.

I needed a filtration system because of the community where I live. Someone came, did a demonstration, and I decided to take it. Customer service was good and the installation went well. I just thought having the system would get rid of the discoloration in the toilet bowl, but it’s still there, maybe not as much but it’s not totally gone. But I would still recommend getting RainSoft.

When we bought our house in Maryland, there was already a RainSoft system installed, but it wasn’t hooked up. We had the local dealer come out and hook it, and the system ran for a couple of years. Eventually, the neutralizer and the control system on top stopped working. Since the tanks are lifetime tanks, we decided to just put new heads on top.

My parents had RainSoft in their house, and I grew up with the RainSoft system, so early on I learned the difference from no filtration system to a filtered system. When the representative came out for the presentation, I was sold from the get-go. It was more of persuading my wife. But he did an amazing job, and it was very informative for her. And I still enjoyed it because it’s fun to see the difference in the water and everything. With the RainSoft system, our hands are silkier and softer, our scalps don’t feel itchy and our skin isn’t dry, and the water tastes better.

We heard about RainSoft at Home Depot. There was a woman there who was sharing about it. And a nice young man came to the house. He was very clear in asking for water from different sources. He ran tests, showed us the results, talked to us about it, and then he showed us what could be done to solve the issues. So, we chose two out of the three options. We got the reverse osmosis and the whole-house filter, but not the softener. And our water tastes awesome. So, we’re happy with it.

We just moved here and noticed that the water has a strong odor and weird taste. We also had buildup on the faucets. From my research, RainSoft seemed like a very good product and they're American-made. Since we got their system, the water has no odor or weird taste. It’s just like water.

After using a water test kit, RainSoft contacted me with the results. We had really hard water. We had stopped drinking our tap water and were buying water. We wanted to have the better drinking water so we went with the filtration to get the iron out. The water now tastes good and my hair’s texture is better when I take a shower. I don’t have to worry about my hair turning orange.

We heard about RainSoft at a home show. And we were interested in it because we have a brand-new home, and we wanted to have good water because it’s important to have fresh, clean water for bathing and for consumption. So, we had it installed right when we moved in. 

I asked for a better system than my other one because I'm on borrowed time. I'm 91 years old and none of my kids would be taking over the house. This is a double-wide trailer, considering the fact that it's a three-bedroom, two-bath situation–it would be a case of being able to sell it. And it's certainly the kind of place that, if they want them on a softener, they'd want one big enough to handle what was needed. I know the price was high, but I expected that, knowing that I was going for a bigger system.

The quality of the RainSoft's system was great. Its upkeep was easy. I just got to put the salt in, and pay them to come out and look at it.

We were getting dry skin. We had the water tested and we saw sediments was in there and the chlorine. My parents had RainSoft and we got the basic system–the water treatment system for showering and for daily use and the drinking water as well. Our skin is a lot smoother after.

If you don’t like your water, try RainSoft. They did several tests to show hardness and residual soap that we had on our water. We like the system and the products that we’re trying out. Water tastes and looks a whole lot better.

I’m redoing my kitchen, so I wanted to get the water test, and put a home filter in. RainSoft did a whole test, showed us the results, and we liked what we saw. They came out the next day and installed everything. The process has been very easy and extremely smooth. Everyone’s been very helpful and absolutely great, even the techs that came out to install it. I came home after they installed it, and they were still there and walked me through everything, what we would be saving and even the repairs on the house.

I first heard about RainSoft in Home Depot. I went with them because of the testing they did and what they showed me. The system was installed on our vacation home, and everything seems good. They told me that the flavor of the water might be a little different, but I did not taste anything different. It tastes good.

I am so disappointed in myself for spending all this money on a RainSoft system. They tell you it has a lifetime warranty. I have never been happy with the system and have had them out several times. I still have hard water rings in the toilets and around sinks. I got the system 3 years ago and now it has totally stopped working. They are overpriced and it still uses salt.

I do not recommend this system, we buy for the whole house and every time a part breaks down we have to pay for the person to come to change the piece. We already ask to talk to the manager but nothing.

My son told me about RainSoft. I gave them a call the other but it got by me and I finally got it installed this year. The installer was very personable. I had a water softener but the biggest initial change since having RainSoft is from the iron filter that they installed in line with the water softener. The water doesn’t have a smell and there’s no rust anymore. I was extremely happy with it.

I heard about Rainsoft from two friends who also use the same company and the same system. The rep’s visit was very good. It was very thorough. It was the same person that also serviced my two friends who recommended them. It was nice to have that consistency. That was reassuring.

Home Depot tested my water and then they connected me with RainSoft. Their rep was nice and informative. Getting the house and the drinking system from them is worth the money.

I heard about RainSoft at Home Depot. There was a sales rep at the store. For the installation, a dude came and installed it. He’s like a plumber. I haven't really noticed a difference that I can tell, but I’m hardly home, though. The cost is a little high, but that’s like everything else in this world. The system is fine. It’s doing what it says it is doing, so I’m okay with it.

Pure SCAMMERS!! Unethical sales tactics, scripted demo and promises not kept. Do NOT accept them into your house. They pitch low monthly installment payments but avoid telling you the real price which is over $11,000, and your on the kook for 8+ years. Use $100 Gift card to get you to accept an appointment, which NEVER GETS FULLFILLED. Do you research, these guys are crooks! Several active lawsuits. AVOID!!!!

Our water softener system went out and we were in a bind and needed something. We called our neighbor, who we knew had a system too, and he recommended RainSoft. They're not very well advertised, but maybe if I had taken time to Google water softeners, they might have popped up. I didn't do that though. Our neighbor was familiar with RainSoft and they were local, though that was not really an issue.

I was already contemplating getting a system and the sales guy convinced me. I don't typically get sold, but he did a great job selling the RainSoft system. He also had a guy with him he was training, so it made it fun too. A guy came in and did the install, and he had a guy with him as well. They were both good. The company that's doing the install is on their game.

RainSoft was recommended to me by my builder and the service has been great so far. However, there still seems to be some particles coming through. There are particles in my commode, so I need to check on what's causing that. I'll talk to my installer about that.

He said, “Don't worry, ‘cause when we hook this system up, that water is gonna start coming out that refrigerator tasting good,” and it does. I love the fact that I can walk up to my sink, turn my water on, and drink it. I do it on purpose, especially when people come to my house, and the water is so good.

Over the past two years, I have purchased several systems from Rainsoft. The sales representative, Rob, is highly knowledgeable and friendly. He assisted me in selecting the appropriate system for my home and refrained from attempting to upsell me on premium products. Additionally, Rob was exceptionally courteous, taking his time to address all my inquiries. Shortly after the initial installation, an issue arose with a module, causing the system to malfunction. I promptly contacted Rob, and he arrived at my residence the following day to rectify the problem. He replaced the faulty component and ensured that the system was functioning optimally once more.

Rainsoft has been wonderful and I have no complaints. The sales rep was very nice and pleasant. I got a water treatment system and one person came out to install it. Using the system, the only difference I notice is that my hair is so much softer now. I'm sure there is also a difference in the drinking water, but drinking from a garden hose growing up, it all tastes the same.

We had a super long presentation but decided to purchase. The installation came before our 3 day ended and after 5 weeks it's still not working right and can't get the manager to call back. Had to hire outside plumber just to get the water running but still having issues to this day. I would not recommend going through this company.

I got RainSoft because the results of my water quality test were showing us how low the quality of our water is. Well, we're using the soft water products. And so, that's the biggest change. We've noticed that our skin feels much smoother from the water. And the dishes, especially our glasses, are a lot cleaner.

The salesman said that if I bought the system, I could get 99.9% pure water, and that appealed very much to me. I've had RainSoft for a couple of decades now and it's performed quite well. In fact, the desalination unit was rated to last only 10 years, and it lasted a lot longer than that. When they noticed that my unit was way past its useful life date, they offered to replace it and the price they quoted was really high. But they cut the price in half. Then I asked if they could cut anything more off, and they said they won't charge me for this year's equipment. They do the filter exchange every year and that's $250. They waived that as well. They're expensive but if you can afford it, it's worth it.

My experience was good. The company that I had installed the unit did a very good job. I also had a RainSoft system before and I'm impressed with the simplicity of the system.

We’ve had this installed for just over a year and it’s already sprung a leak twice. An extra $1000 in plumber services on top of the monthly payments for the system itself. It seems ridiculous that a system that costs $8000 would be so faulty. The company is also radio silent. Buyer, absolutely beware. Save your money. And your patience.

Our system was installed by Sweetwater Home Services out of Austin, Texas. The installation was difficult and they were unable to get the quality they advertised. They said they would let us know when to change filters but I never heard from them again.

I purchased my equipment from Rainsoft, but service is provided by a company called Florida Energy Water and Air. I’ve only had my system a little over a year and they have made numerous calls to my home due to inadequate installation. Now I’m having another issue and when I called this company they told me my warranty was up and that I would have to pay a $289 travel fee on top of $80 an hour service fee. I think this is outrageous!! The Rainsoft salesman did not inform me about this. I’m not even for sure what they’re responsible for in the whole process.??? I’m still financing over $8000 in equipment that I’ve had numerous problems with and now on top of that I have to pay outrageous fees for a service call!! I feel trapped!!

Everyone we spoke to and dealt with was wonderful, until we purchased the system and it was installed. Customer service was great, got back to us quickly and were flexible with scheduling appointments, everyone was so friendly. Then, they installed the system, I attached 2 photos, of their less than quality work. The staples holding the cord to my wall right out in the open... Really? There is no nicer/cleaner way to make that work? The bigger problem is/was the first picture. That is the hole they made in our wall to run the cord through to the outside unit so it has power. I can understand that a hole needed to be made, but I do not agree with how they left it. That is a sizable hole to just leave as is. It is going directly outside. Creatures and insects can stroll right in! They did not try to use anything to fill it in!

We scheduled a service/maintenance appointment for our RainSoft Water Softener unit, the indoor water filters and Alkaline water system. Our service technician was Donald, a 22-year-old from the Victorville branch. He arrived on-time and immediately started servicing the indoor water filters. We informed him of a minor technical issue with the outside Water Softener Control Panel and he fixed it within 2 minutes or less!! Before adding fresh bags of salt for the softener, Donald thoroughly washed & cleaned out the bin first. Awesome! He then showed me how I can simply detach the bin and clean it myself! I must say, Donald's work ethic is impeccable and he is tech-savvy! Overall, we were totally satisfied! Thanx again Donald.. we appreciate your professional services!

I have the water softener installed a couple months ago. The sales representative was great; the rest did not provide the level of customer service suited for lifetime. Installation was schedule on a day I was available and got cut short. It was understandable that emergency happens, but when I asked for the reschedule time nothing was communicated. The territory manger was looking for a response to confirm installation was completed without knowingly that the tech came back unannounced. These guys don't know their own product or follow guidelines (at least in my area).

Would Not Recommend – Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish. While the salesperson who helped us was incredibly personable and easy to work with, they failed to mention one critical detail — that refunds are not an option under any circumstances, even if something goes wrong. This should have been made clear upfront. After the installation of our reverse osmosis (RO) system, the water remained cloudy. The installer’s response? “Wait a couple of weeks and it should clear up.” Seriously? Isn’t the whole point of installing a filtration system to have clean, clear water immediately?

Don’t buy from this company! They sold us a highly expensive filter, promising maintenance and salt! Now they say salt must be paid and they want to charge more than $1300 for maintenance! Don’t trust them! They don’t keep what they promise during sales process!

Airmaster Ultra initially was a good system until it failed. The system has two electronic boards. The board that controls the UV and ozone failed. It was replaced but the germicidal light was not working. This was mentioned to the technician that the indicator LED did not appear to be illuminating like the other LEDs. Technicians stated this is not a problem. Checked this system a few months later and this LED was not working at all. Contacted Florida Energy water and air. Technician came out. I have problems fixing the system. This problem was yeah.

We have the worst water here in Bolingbrook. We pay a fortune for it, and everyone says it tastes disgusting. A few years ago, we had our bathtub refinished, and it was snow white. Then all of a sudden, black streaks started running down it.

Since the installation of Rainsoft water softener in 2018, this top of the line model EC 5 - 75 hasn't worked properly even for a couple of months, Generating throughout the day instead of its programmed Overnight, which results pushing heavy Brine into my house drinking water. Damaging ice makers, pressure assist toilet flush etc. I have to empty 30 gallons of water heater tank just to be able to take a shower. Dozen of technicians visits from Florida Energy water and air resulting hundreds of dollars for changing several mother boards and even changing the resin canister did not help. Don't waste your money on Rainsoft.

This was way over priced then they want to charge you 200 every year to service it. Well when they installed it they left a leaky pipe cuz I was not gonna pay them 200 every year. They was gonna charge me 140 to fix a pipe. When it was installed I was told I could of had almost the same system for 2300. They charged me 6000. Stay away. Please do research before hiring someone when moving here to Florida. They see money signs and thinking you getting a good deal.

The presentation was pleasant and informative. He showed me the hard water, the chlorine, we talked about what we wanted in water coming out of our tap, and he wasn’t pushy, so it was relatively painless. I bought the RainSoft house system that goes through the whole house, and I've got additional drinking water spigot on the tank. The changes in the water was immediate. The water is nice, it feels good. The shower is not soft, and I told him that ‘cause I don’t have any problem with the water the way it is. But it’s noticeably different, and it tastes really good, especially my coffee ‘cause I use my drinking water in my coffee and it’s perfect. I think the unit was a little overpriced. I chose to finance it 'cause it's manageable and I got some things going. But I think $6,500 is a little bit much. Is it worth it? Is the monthly payment good for me? Yeah, it’s cool.

Marco showed up for our annual service today changed 5 rubber gaskets that cost $12 online and did some sort of update but wouldn't say for what and when asked about the wifi interface not working he said "it doesn't matter". $243.00 INSANE.

We got the original RainSoft system 10 years ago after seeing them in Home Depot. When the guy did the water test, he had a hard time showing me what he wanted to show me since my water was hardly bad at all. I got it because my wife donated a kidney and I wanted to do everything I can to protect the one that’s left. Recently, we just replaced the old system since its brain was dying. The whole process of installation went perfectly fine. It went faster than I thought. The only issue was prolonging them to complete the installation, which was because of the rain that kept coming, so it was hard for them to put the drainage system in. So they have to come out and do the work twice until that second time, he had to work in the mud whether he liked it or not, because it was just like, “Just do it.” I felt bad, but everything just seemed to go smooth. I didn't find any kind of inconvenience or anything like that. It's exceeded my expectations. Granted, I'm still getting used to the whole feeling kind of slimy afterwards.

The accompanying products are useless. Highly disappointed. For example, the dishwasher soap doesn't clean the utensils. The shampoo results in excessive fair fall. Same for other products. They asked to provide referrals and that they would give $50 for each referral who gives an appointment. Guess what. Of the 5 visits, only got a $50 gift card for one referral. Didn't expected this from a reputed firm like yours.

We're very happy with the RainSoft equipment and the interaction we've had with the people who represent them. I'd heard of Culligan and some other types of brand names, but Rainsoft’s reviews were good. Our house is a new build and we've been in it for less than a year. One of the primary reasons we purchased from Rainsoft and had an interest in a full water soft system was because of the scale that builds up in our water that comes from the city. The scale which was visibly noticeable in our coffee maker and different places is gone. The dishes do appear to be cleaner, too. The system has done what I was hoping it would do. We have the RO part and we enjoy it. It's good. The price that we paid for the system was reasonable. We’ve also told relatives and non- relatives about Rainsoft.

I have a daughter who has autism and we were living in an apartment. We had a very scary experience where she had a rash on the back of her right knee, and it wasn't going away. I purchased RainSoft based on the demo done on my dishwasher from Home Depot. I have young grandchildren and I know it's just going to get worse. The gentleman was wonderful, very communicative. He had some challenges and needed to come back, but it was all done very well. I think there needs to be more information provided to those who are going to finance. I know there's a handshake partnership with the finance company, but they're very difficult. I had to do a lot of work to get onto their site in order to set up payments.

We’ve had RainSoft for about 16 years. Ours eventually stopped working, and they no longer had parts for it, so we had a new one installed. We’ve been very satisfied with it. My husband and I had the original system installed many years ago, and it saved us a lot of money on detergent and probably water heaters, since hard water can damage them.
