We're happy with RainSoft. We were doing shopping in Home Depot and then somebody approached us and then asked us if we were interested to check our water. Setting up our consultation was okay. The representative was on time and it was good demonstration. Initially, I was only up to the gift card that they will give us. It doesn't matter if we accept the product or not, we're still gonna gain some $30 gift card from Home Depot. However, since their rep was really knowledgeable and he demonstrated everything, we opted to get the product.
The installation team was also great. When there was an issue, they came back and did everything. They came to the house three times to install it. There was a line that they wanna connect to it. There were some problems, so they were sent out three times but we were happy. Since having our system installed, we feel like whenever we take a bath, it's clean to the body. We're wanting to go to the shower. Our skin has been really soft and smooth. The water tastes so good, too. I'm very satisfied with RainSoft. I never regret that we went through it.

My dad had got his water tested through RainSoft. So, I tried it out once I had got my home. Setting up a consultation was good. Their reps came in, they introduced themselves, and they talked me through the water displays, how they were showing me the water and the difference. So, it was how it looked before and after. That was pretty nice. I know my cold water was already working. When they tested my water, only the cold was clean, but the hot water wasn't.
The installation team had to work outside because I had to go to a basketball game. They let me know what was going on and what they were going to do. Overall, I like the RainSoft system. I haven't noticed anything with the hot water yet, but the cold water is so clear. As far as other products, I got soap, cleaning glass and Windex from RainSoft. It's a great experience and I already referred my friends to them to get their water checked so they can have clean water. Now, my water is clean and I get to cook in clean water, bathe in clean water, and drink it. I don't have to go buy bottled water. I can drink it right out the faucet.

I always have awesome experiences with RainSoft. They put my water system in about 22 years ago. I've been friends with Rick since the day he came over. It was the third day we moved in. I don't have anything negative to say about the guy. We have the same likes and dislikes. He comes over here when I call him if I need something. I also know all the employees personally, from the office staff to the service techs to everybody.
The system that I had was now considered a dinosaur. If something broke and if the part was obsolete, Rick always had some sort of a part left over from a teardown from another unit. The reason we got the new one is because we broke the last thing on the unit and the service tech said, "Holy crap. I don't even know where to get one of these things." I said, "Well, let's duct tape it until I can talk to Rick." Within four days, we had a new system.

There were all kinds of water spots on the shower door and the water that was coming out of the tap was hard. I could also smell chlorine in the water some days. So, I became interested in having a water softener. RainSoft was recognized as one of the best ones and I chose to buy the system from them. When the water was tested, the rep told me that there were particles in the water and that the water was hard, and there were various chemicals. He put a whole bunch of different colored drops in it and some drops turned different colors. I had been through this spiel before with another company, so I knew what to expect watching it. I was sold on the fact that I wanted a water conditioner system.
I looked at a couple of other kinds but they all had filters that you have to replace all the time and it didn’t do what I wanted it to do. It didn't have reverse osmosis for the drinking water. The water softening system is okay in the house, but you want the water that you drink to be filtered a little bit more if you can get it that way. And RainSoft offered all of those things. With the system in place, the water is what I wanted. It was clear before, but you didn’t know what chemicals were in it. When you use hard water to wash, it feels like the soap comes off and you get that squeaky clean feeling. But with soft water, you rinse and there is no squeak. Your skin feels softer.

I live in a townhome complex, and I didn’t know the system as RainSoft at first. One of the ladies here had the system for about eight years and just said she got it from Home Depot when she moved in. I went to all these big companies but they couldn’t find a way to drain the water. LifeSource wanted to put a hole in my garage and run it out to the street, and I said that wasn’t going to work. I decided to try Home Depot since the others seemed very satisfied. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He told me they would have someone come out and find a way to make it work. The other person in the complex had a different system, so I didn’t even know about theirs.
I went ahead with RainSoft even before hearing about all the perks, like the products and the air filter system. I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel and planning to add a Jacuzzi, so I wanted pure water running through the house. The hard water had already damaged my shower. When the installer came out, he kept looking but couldn’t find a place to drain the water. I showed him where others had theirs, but he said that wouldn’t work and explained it could mix with the water. So he called his manager, who was very helpful. He gave instructions on how to locate the pipes. I turned on the water upstairs and checked around the garage, and I could hear where it was coming through. Once they confirmed it, he opened the wall and completed the installation. He was there a long time and put a lot of work into it, but he got the system running.
There was a hole left in the wall, and I was told someone would contact me to fix it, but no one did. I followed up through Home Depot, and they immediately set up an appointment and had it patched. Overall, I would recommend the product and the service. My brother said the system was a little pricey and I told him that the person in the complex got it first eight years ago and it was 8,000. It has only gone up 2,000. The purifying system was 1,200 but RainSoft gave it to me because I’m an older person. Then, you get all these products, and I don’t have to buy things like glass cleaner, detergent, or dishwashing supplies. I live alone, and this stuff lasts a long time.
The system was an investment. I didn’t realize it would cost that much, but I’m not complaining because I love it. It’s something I’m glad to have, especially with my home remodel coming up. We've only had the system a couple of months, but the guy who came out was amazing. He kept going and knew what he was doing and was clean about it. The system is pricey but it offers a lot. It’s a nice system.

We got a flyer and my wife called RainSoft, and the salesman set up a time. He came by the house and did scientific tests on our water to prove that we needed the filter. He was super knowledgeable and showed us pictures of the system at his house. He also showed the difference between the city water with chemicals and how RainSoft filters it, including additional filtration for drinking water and explained how it can save money monthly on soap. We got the water filtration system and the drinking water filtration, and those were installed super-fast. It was set up prim and proper and everything was good to go. It was great. Since then, we use a lot less soap and I feel clean after I get out of the shower. All in all, we’ve been happy with it.
On the day that RainSoft was supposed to come out, some of the techs got in a wreck, so they were short-staffed and couldn’t install that day. They called right away to explain the situation and gave a new date. They came out on that date on time, and everything went as expected, so I wasn’t upset about it. RainSoft was on point and put out exactly what they told us they’d do. The system is a little bit on the pricey side, but it's all automated with the app and everything else that tells you when to do all the maintenance on it. So it's not hard to use at all. I told other people that they can get their water filtered good with Rain Soft and it’s solid.

We purchased our air purification system from RainSoft. Their sales rep was very good and their installers were fine. While I don't see any differences since having the system installed, I'd rate my experience with RainSoft a 5.

Setting up the consultation with RainSoft went smoothly. I got the soft water system and the reverse osmosis, and the installers were on time and very quick. The install was great, and the equipment is working very good. We have a better quality of water, specifically on skin and the dishes. I've noticed a big difference on that for water stains. The product's great, and I'm really enjoying it right now.

RainSoft had the best financing plan. Their sales rep came out, and it was an excellent presentation. It went for 3 hours which was longer than expected, but it was really detailed. I have a little bit of a science background, so I completely saw the depth of what was being said and the explanations. I appreciated that. I understood there were a lot of different options so we narrowed down to my lifestyle, what we were doing, and it fit really easily. It was within range of what I'd seen others in this neighborhood had.
I went with the water softener and the reverse osmosis and now, the water has much better quality. I've never had to deal with water softeners so I was a bit shocked to see about the untreated water here in Texas in this neighborhood. Having the RainSoft system, there's not so much calcification when cleaning the sinks and the drains. My skin isn't as dry and I'm not using as much shampoo. It's overall much better. There's no residual from using the water like it was when it was untreated.
RainSoft has quality system and I like how quickly it was installed. Everyone was right on top of it. Richard and his crew explained everything. I was taking notes to make sure I understood everything and remembered it. That's what I was really impressed about. Learning about RainSoft was great. Discussing all the different soaps was near the end of the process and I was a little tired so I was a little bit surprised to have a lot of boxes show up. I had room for it but I just wasn't expecting it. For the reverse osmosis, they put in a different part. I had chrome, and they put in something that wasn't chrome. They didn't have the chrome one, but they came back very shortly and put in the chrome faucet into my sink. I didn't even notice. The little things like that was really spectacular.

I needed some sort of system down here and somebody in the area had RainSoft and showed it to me. I had a great salesman come and test my water. I remember seeing all the sedimentation in it and there was a lot of chlorine in the water. I could see that it was yellow and didn't look good. I got the water filtering system that does the chlorine and everything. I also got the RO system on the kitchen. I got the whole kit and caboodle. Our water now tastes better. It's softer. It's better on the skin, too.

We had a water treatment system that was no longer working. So we were trying to get a new system. We learned about RainSoft through Home Depot and we had a consultation with their rep. It was super easy and he was very informative right off the start. He was extremely polite and he answered all of my questions, which I seemed to have like 900 of them. So, it was a very nice experience. He also explained what we could do to save us some money, because through Home Depot, there was the deal of them, if we put it on a credit card, that they would cover our plumbing costs. It didn't seem like a big amount, but any little bit helps.
We got the whole Rainsoft system. We have the one that removed the iron, a water conditioner, and the reverse osmosis. The installation was great and after that, I reached out to RainSoft because I had a question and it was nice not being treated like an idiot, because it was a dumb question and I didn't know how to word it as to not be a dumb question. But they didn't make me feel like that and they were very informative. They put me at ease because I was very concerned about a noise that the system was making. The guy said that it was actually supposed to do that, and that it should have been pointed out to me in the beginning that it was going to do that, and he apologized.
So it's been an awesome experience. It's also the first time in many years that I've been able to have soap bubbles in the basin after I finished washing dishes. So I know I have soap in there. Normally, they didn't last two minutes. Also, everything looks nicer and feels better. When you get done and you feel like, "I want to be squeaky clean and don't want to squeak," and you're not soft. With RainSoft, the skin is really soft and we can tell a difference. I have mentioned it to my neighbors, telling them that that would be something they would benefit from. And we're all in the same water table, so we're all experiencing the same water problems. The other thing is, when you have hard water, you get that orange stain in your shower. Since getting RainSoft, it was very nice to clean that off. It was always back so quickly but it's been over a month now and it's not back.
Even when you wash light colored wash rags that are supposed to be white, they're actually still white without a whole bottle of bleach on them. And the dog likes the water better. When the salesman was out there, he told us we had very high nitrates in our water and he said that he couldn't tell me the water would kill us, but he would tell us that it would be better for our dog if we use the reverse water on them too. And the first time I did it, I cleaned everything up. I was so used to having it be slimy when I went to clean his bowl, and then, the very next time when I had to clean, it wasn't slimy. Plus, our dog is drinking the water more and he's not sticking his nose up to it, which he did before.
The salesman also told us that the reverse osmosis could go under and they could run it back up to our refrigerator so that we could get the water through our refrigerator ice and water. We didn't even know that was possible and it is cool. When you get an ice cube out and it's actually see-through, where you've never had that. You can taste the difference and it's really neat.

Quality water after using for 11 years. Maintenance parts and availability of parts costly, and always far away. Proprietary parts sucks, and plan on 300$ plus service call when maintenance done at 300$. We probably paid twice the value of the system with maintenance. I didn’t see value to it gonna shop around find a dealer who keeps parts closer and service techs who live in the same location.

The installation of our Rainsoft went really well. The guy who installed it came out, and he was by himself. There were supposed to have been two of them, but he did the whole thing by himself, and he was very tidy. He cleaned up everything at the end and he was wonderful. He was outside working in the dark. I'm very happy with it. We've had it for a month now and I have noticed that my skin feels better, less tight. I've noticed that when I use dish soap, when I'm handwashing the dishes, the soap rinses off better.

Somebody called me and I told them they could come. The guy from RainSoft showed up and we did business. We're in Florida and it's typical Florida crappy water. It's got a lot of chemicals and minerals in it that you may not want and it's not a good color. The RainSoft system cleans the water and makes it soft. Water tastes better and it rinses off better. It works really well with those chemicals that they gave us. I've also had a RainSoft system in the past, and the upkeep is not a big deal. I put a bag of salt in the new system the other day and the toughest thing I did that whole day was pick that bag of salt up. We're very happy with RainSoft. It improves the water and it's noticeable. It's a pretty big change down here so I would recommend highly that others do it.

We bought a couple of appliances from Home Depot and RainSoft found us through them. The presentation was at least an hour or more and the rep was very thorough. He said he was an environmental engineer and he was very knowledgeable. Before we got the system, we had an in-house water filter already under the kitchen sink. After the system was installed, we didn't notice a big difference, but knowing all that garbage isn't in the water we're drinking helps. There's an improvement and I'd tell people to give the presentation a shot, but I wouldn't twist their arm into it.

My daughter had some information on RainSoft, and then my husband contacted them to get the water tested. The water test results looked nasty. It was a yucky yellow. It probably had all kinds of stuff in it. Rod, the man that came to test the water, recommended that we have the one that has the softener in it and then we have the RO for the sink. Since having the system, there is definitely a difference in the taste of our water. It tastes more cleaner. When we take a shower, it almost feels like our skin still has some oil on it. So far, the upkeep has been easy to do. We really haven't had anything to do on it yet.

The initial consultation with the sales rep was kinda long, but it was good. The chemical mixes that he was doing with the water stood out to me. The installers dealt with my husband when they came here. Since having the system, I noticed the water is not hard and you can feel the difference in how the water feels soft in your hand. It's almost like a conditioner. As far as the little faucet thing that they put in for the water, they said that it was supposed to go away, but I noticed that it has not. When you turn it on, it pushes out water. But overall, RainSoft seems like it's a really good product and a good investment.

I was at Home Depot and was approached about the initial value of a new water softening system at home. We were already considering the option of a water softener for our house and RainSoft made it the easiest possible to pursue that option and to give a fair idea of what the various other options are out in the market. They also explained why RainSoft was the best option for our money to go with.
Signup was super easy and very quick. We got the home water softening system, the reverse osmosis drinking water system as well as the air purifier that was bundled with the system. Installation was super simple and efficient as well. The gentleman got here right on the scheduled time and got everything in. He took the time to help us set up the app for the water softening system and made sure that we were able to log in. He made it very easy and it's intuitive and not that hard to keep track of. He also made sure we were happy with everything then he was on his way in no time.
Drinking and using the water, we've noticed a difference in the immediate feel and taste of it. Both my wife and I have some mild skin conditions. I have psoriasis, and she has eczema, and we both noticed that that's less inflammatory lately. The general quality of hair health from showering and the general quality of life as well from drinking water that doesn't have a lot of extra stuff in it has been really nicer. RainSoft is an expensive product, but I've seen the value of it enough to say it's worth that price.

But having the system, I'm not getting the spotting in the shower doors, and the water tastes cleaner.

Now the dealer/ distributor that installed the system says they no longer service our area. The new company just complains that they didn't install the equipment? Thousands of dollars wasted, tons of time and my tubs, toilets and other appliances are ruined from the water? Buy somewhere else!!!!
We reached out to the RainSoft dealership in Hickory who provided us with the following information: Up to this past year there hasn’t been any real issues with the customer’s system or with servicing it. We would like to clarify that we do still service this area, but has chosen not to continue servicing the customer due to being threatened with a lawsuit. We converted the customer’s existing system to a chemical free system a few years ago, which in doing so now takes a special resin which is not regularly used. It is necessary to replace this resin from time to time, which we ask for prepayment in advance. We asked the customer several months ago if they wanted to proceed, but never received a response. At this time we’re unsure what the lawsuit is regarding, and therefor feel it would be best that the customer have someone else service his system.

We got RainSoft through a broker and the consultation went very well. They came and did a very full and complete review of what they do and the quality of the water that we'd be working towards. The equipment I checked online is one of the better ones as far as RainSoft is highly regarded. We got a one-tank conditioning system and had a salt filter hooked up to the entire home.
The installer was terrific. The installation was done in one day and it was very neat and in a very good area. We don't have to look at the system when we go out of the door. Some of the people next door have the system and we come out our door and it's right there on the side of the house. Ours is behind our fence and well hidden from sight. We're very pleased with where it is.
We had a good experience with the installation and the maintenance. We had one period where, locally, they stopped the water and worked on the pipes and we had some air in the lines. They came out immediately with the request about the air in the lines, and they satisfied that. That was under warranty and it was very solid. Once we ran the water for 10 minutes, everything was back to normal and everything was fine. We've had a good experience since then.
The water is very good quality and we're very confident with what we're getting. It's definitely different. We use a lot less soap when cleaning. Even showering takes less shampoo. The softener and conditioner systems are good products, and I'd recommend RainSoft. They were very informative, professional on all fronts, and very accommodating to our requests and our questions. It was a very good experience.

I got the whole-house filtration system and I also got the alkaline water on my kitchen spigot. The installers were very professional. They called ahead of time to tell me they were coming, explained what they were gonna do and cleaned up all their mess.
The water now tastes so good. I also like to swim at the gym and exercise, but I've stopped doing that because I don't wanna shower there. I wanna shower at my house with good water. And then RainSoft gave me a bunch of household products. The soap is just wonderful. I've been using the laundry detergent. It's excellent. The only thing about the laundry detergent is I wish it had no scent. It has a very light scent, but I've got a tenant who stays at my house when I'm not there and she's allergic to any kind of perfume or any kind of scent like that. But she loves the water.
The sales person comes out two weeks after they set it up and tests my water and shows the improvement, which is wonderful. It seals the deal. RainSoft is such a very sharp put-together organization. I was very impressed. Usually, when I spend a lot of money like this and write a $10,000 check, I get buyer's remorse and get nervous. But I got none of that with this system. I was so excited to have it and I just feel really good about it. It's a wonderful system.

They're professional and just very nice to work with. Our water is softer again. It was soft before but it was time to get a new one. Now, it is soft again. It seems to be a little bit softer and feel better on our skin. We just need to add salt, and we’ve been doing it for a couple of months now. If anyone needs a softener or is looking to buy one or any type of filtration system, they should go ahead and ask these people.

They answered all my questions. I purchased the actual conditioning, the reverse osmosis, which I love, and the air portion of it. Definitely, I've noticed a big difference in the water. The water is definitely a lot softer versus it was a little bit harder. I can tell the difference on my skin. I suffer from eczema and that's helped it a lot. The reverse osmosis, the drinking water portion of it, I can taste the difference in the water from bottled water that we used to buy and even with the regular filters that we used to have.

We’ve been in this house for 10 years now. The faucets’ cartridges started dripping and they determined those were getting clogged from the minerals. I feel the towels and the laundry are getting really rough as well. My husband went through Home Depot. He researched quite a bit and he talked to a few companies and he settled on RainSoft. We also have a neighbor who has the system and they absolutely love it.
My husband’s happy, so far. I'm not finding a big difference in laundry, which concerns me a little. I expected some big difference of softening. But I'm happy for the RO drinking because we all have health issues. The people were also polite and efficient and they did a lot of redo outside. We’ve been long-time customers of RainSoft. We've used them in our home for the longest time. Now that we get a new house, we wanna fix things up so that in the long run, there are not as much problems. What sold us was they told us that if we get this whole-house water softener system, it would help us maintain our plumbing in better condition. And, it is so true. I’m very happy with it. It was pricey. It was one of those big ticket items you get, but it pays for itself.
They also gave us some products that we could use, like for cleaning. They also said we would be using less detergent and it’s been true. The less detergent you use, the longer your machine and equipment will last. All around, it's been great for our appliances.

When they came out to install, they explained everything, including the kind of maintenance needed.
We had it throughout our home, in our garage, our washroom, and then in the kitchen. The water is 1,000 times better and it tastes so much better. And whenever you take a shower, you don't feel as heavy-feeling. It's definitely an improvement. I would 100% recommend it.

Everything was perfect, we were very impressed.
I'm absolutely thrilled with the system and I'm also using their products that came with it. It was different kinds of soaps and detergent. It’s not cheap but in the long run it was worth it. And the best part is that Home Depot was able to do 24 months of payments instead of 12. So that made it very affordable.

We purchased the water softening system and the laundry system from RainSoft. My youngest son has a little eczema on his leg and we were treating it with a cream. But since we put the system in, we have not treated it with the cream at all and it seems like it's going away. My hands used to be really dry and cracked, especially in the winter, and I haven't been using lotion this year and they're not nearly as bad as they usually are.
I also like that you can't smell it. We used to have a well and it was sulfur water. We could drink it, but you could smell it. And then, when we changed to city water, you could just smell a lot of bleach in it and it was just hard. So when we changed to RainSoft, it's a lot nicer, it tastes and smells better. I'm really glad we did it.
Even our interactions with the sales rep was great. He was very informative. And everybody that we interacted with during installation, was all great. They went over, explained everything, made sure we understood before they left, and made sure we didn't have any other questions. I'm very pleased.

I started looking into water conditioning and I was doing some research when I was called. The rep asked if I would like to have a salesman come out. He came out that day and his demonstration was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and he answered my questions. The fact that I had been researching about getting a system made it easier for both of us. I purchased the water system right when he was here. Although, I do realize, as only being one person in this house, that the system won't pay for itself. If it was a large family, I can see where it was.
RainSoft has only been installed a month and I've noticed a great difference. I was having an issue with toilets being cleaned. The guy who came to install the system was a professional and prompt. He was articulate, and easy to talk to. He showed me where everything was, what I needed to do when certain light indicators come on, and how often I needed to refill, and so on and so forth.
Our skin feels a lot less dry, definitely softer now. Before having RainSoft, the water felt really hard on the skin, and dried the skin out, so there was a lot of itching and discomfort. We don't have that anymore. It seems like the water moisturizes the skin because of the lack of chemicals. It’s a more enjoyable to drink. I live in Cincinnati and the city water is horrible. We thought we were doing our best to filter out all the crap and we were considering a whole house filter. RainSoft came and did some tests on our water. Our water was horrible even after we had already been filtering it out. We had a rating of 40 or 50. The sediment that came out of the water when they put the stuff in the water was disgusting. I was like, “I'm drinking that. I'm giving that to my dog and my kid.” We proceeded with what RainSoft was offering. We got the whole house filter and water softener.
RainSoft was excellent and they weren't pushy. They came in and explained everything to us, including the test. We watched it in real time right in front of us. They answered any questions we had. Because of our schedule, we were able to get in contact with the installer ourselves and set up a date when we knew we were gonna be home and we would take care of it. Usually, once you purchase the system, they install it within 48 hours. The system is a two cylinder type thing that sits in the garage by the water heater. The installers piped it all in and did everything for us.
RainSoft also allowed us to make the decision to get our tankless water heater because with this system, it extends your warranty on the tankless water heater. You don't have to flush it and do all the crap that you're supposed to do to it once a month because the system is doing it for you before it even goes into the hot water heater. The installers helped us install that with the piping, no questions asked. They were phenomenal.
With RainSoft, I feel cleaner. I'm using less soap to do anything because my soap actually lathers up now. Overall, it has been wonderful because now I know I can drink water from my tap and not have to worry about getting all the gunk and junk that I thought I was filtering out. RainSoft is a no brainer. You get healthier and cleaner water. The company itself and the people that work for the company were amazing for us. They were just there to answer questions. In order to maintain the quality of the filters and its ability to remove the contaminants that it has been tested for, we have to be sure replacement filters cannot be substituted by a cheaper, inferior product. The NSF/WQA testing/certification process is expensive and therefore the overall cost of these filters will be significantly higher than something customers can buy on line. I also took their reverse osmosis system that's under the sink that gives reverse osmosis water through the kitchen sink faucet. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the water that comes out of both the water softener and the reverse osmosis system.
RainSoft offers a very good, sound system, but it is a little on the costly side. However, it needs minimal upkeep as in putting salt in the tank. RainSoft provided 240 pounds of salt to build the unit, and since my wife and I are the only people in this house, it's gonna take us about six months or maybe even longer to even replace that product. We have to refill it each time it empties, not as it goes down. So, it's gonna take quite a bit of time for that salt to go through the system and go away.

What the ZeroWater system was doing for us was the same thing as reverse osmosis, which we didn’t know. So we love the reverse osmosis. It is fantastic because we don’t have the continuing filter replacement, which had been getting to be more and more of an issue as the filters weren’t lasting as long. To be able to go and fill up your pans of water when you’re cooking is a huge plus for us. It’s something I wasn’t able to do with the small filtration systems. You just can’t boil your pasta. When we bought our house in Maryland, there was already a RainSoft system installed, but it wasn’t hooked up. We had the local dealer come out and hook it, and the system ran for a couple of years. Eventually, the neutralizer and the control system on top stopped working. Since the tanks are lifetime tanks, we decided to just put new heads on top.
We knew something was wrong when the toilets started staining again and the water pressure in the house wasn’t as strong. The neutralizer was holding back the water. Once that was fixed, everything went back to normal and the toilets are now clean. For upkeep, the only thing I have to do is put salt in the tank and log how many pounds I added in the app. The app is nice because it shows a graph of how much water and salt we’re using.
Overall, RainSoft is very good and the cost is not that high. We also have their reverse osmosis system, and there’s never any pressure to do extra services or filter changes. If we decide not to do something, they will wait till the next year to do it. They're very professional and they regularly send reminders when it’s time for our yearly service.

My parents had RainSoft in their house, and I grew up with the RainSoft system, so early on I learned the difference from no filtration system to a filtered system. When the representative came out for the presentation, I was sold from the get-go. It was more of persuading my wife. But he did an amazing job, and it was very informative for her. And I still enjoyed it because it’s fun to see the difference in the water and everything. With the RainSoft system, our hands are silkier and softer, our scalps don’t feel itchy and our skin isn’t dry, and the water tastes better.

We heard about RainSoft at Home Depot. There was a woman there who was sharing about it. And a nice young man came to the house. He was very clear in asking for water from different sources. He ran tests, showed us the results, talked to us about it, and then he showed us what could be done to solve the issues. So, we chose two out of the three options. We got the reverse osmosis and the whole-house filter, but not the softener. And our water tastes awesome. So, we’re happy with it.

In 2024, I visited Home Depot, where a salesperson approached me and offered a “free water testing” service. They said they were partnering with Home Depot and could book an appointment for me. I agreed. A representative later came to my home with testing equipment, ran a quick test, and told me that my water was “very dirty” and unsafe. They insisted I needed a water filtration system, which they called a “plant,” costing $10,000. They assured me that I wouldn’t have to pay the full amount upfront — just small **monthly payments for three years with no interest. Based on that promise, I agreed.
However, after a year, when I contacted UEI Financial, I was shocked to learn that interest had been charged from the beginning — at 4.9%. Now, after two years of making payments, I was told that I still owe $9,888, meaning my payments so far have mostly gone toward interest, not the principal. This feels like a complete scam and very misleading. They took advantage of trust and misrepresented the terms of the purchase. It’s shameful that such deceptive practices are linked to a reputable store like Home Depot.

We just moved here and noticed that the water has a strong odor and weird taste. We also had buildup on the faucets. From my research, RainSoft seemed like a very good product and they're American-made. Since we got their system, the water has no odor or weird taste. It’s just like water.
We’ve had no issues with the system. It gives us automatic updates when it’s time to fill it with salt. We fill it once a year, and we’re done with it. If anything goes wrong, the software will tell us.

After using a water test kit, RainSoft contacted me with the results. We had really hard water. We had stopped drinking our tap water and were buying water. We wanted to have the better drinking water so we went with the filtration to get the iron out. The water now tastes good and my hair’s texture is better when I take a shower. I don’t have to worry about my hair turning orange.

We heard about RainSoft at a home show. And we were interested in it because we have a brand-new home, and we wanted to have good water because it’s important to have fresh, clean water for bathing and for consumption. So, we had it installed right when we moved in.
The system is functioning great. And we noticed that the water is clear and softer, and all the things that they said it would be. It also tastes good. So, we’re happy with it. The upkeep of the system doesn’t seem to be complicated. We have to add the salt after a while and check certain things. But it’s still brand new for us, so we haven’t had to do any of that.

I asked for a better system than my other one because I'm on borrowed time. I'm 91 years old and none of my kids would be taking over the house. This is a double-wide trailer, considering the fact that it's a three-bedroom, two-bath situation–it would be a case of being able to sell it. And it's certainly the kind of place that, if they want them on a softener, they'd want one big enough to handle what was needed. I know the price was high, but I expected that, knowing that I was going for a bigger system.
I had known a lot about water softeners because I've had one for years. There was a lot of repetition in the presentation as far as I was concerned, but it was very well done.
The water's about the same. But it appears as though RainSoft will use a lot less salt because of the fact that it apparently operates on the basis of how much water I use, whereas the other one did it on a time factor. I seldom drink water but I'm pleased that it has a separate salt container as opposed to an all-in-one. If it did need cleaning, it was a lot simpler to do.
I didn't notice until the man who did the installation left–the drain for when it would replenish itself went underneath my shed. I had commented about that when they called back a couple of days after to see if I was happy. I said I would much rather have that go over where the other one did I would like that changed. I also said that there's no rush on it, because from the usage that I do, it would take quite a while before it would breach.

The quality of the RainSoft's system was great. Its upkeep was easy. I just got to put the salt in, and pay them to come out and look at it.
I really didn't notice anything different with the water, but I can feel the difference. It's softer when I use soap. It just seems cleaner, and I can't smell its chemicals. I would recommend RainSoft, if you have an issue with the way their water tastes and smells.

I first heard about RainSoft through the builder. It was part of a package that had all kinds of stuff in it. When I called them the gentleman who came was very knowledgeable. He answered all questions. He did the tests to show me how bad the water really was that I might have been drinking.
I've lived in this county for 40 years and I've known that sometimes, when I turned the water on, it had a different smell–a lot of times it was chlorine, so I was very interested in the product. I have the softener so everything is feeling softer and I'm using much less product. The water became better for cleaning as well.

I’m redoing my kitchen, so I wanted to get the water test, and put a home filter in. RainSoft did a whole test, showed us the results, and we liked what we saw. They came out the next day and installed everything. The process has been very easy and extremely smooth. Everyone’s been very helpful and absolutely great, even the techs that came out to install it. I came home after they installed it, and they were still there and walked me through everything, what we would be saving and even the repairs on the house.
There were hard water stains before, and I’ve had to do repairs and replace things on the faucet and toilets because of the hard water. Before we added the water softener, we would either get bottled water or use a filter. But now, we don’t use either and the water tastes better. They put an extra drinking faucet next to my kitchen faucet. Even in the shower, we can feel the difference in the water. I feel a lot smoother, instead of sticky after getting out of the shower. The system has really been wonderful.

I do not recommend this system, we buy for the whole house and every time a part breaks down we have to pay for the person to come to change the piece. We already ask to talk to the manager but nothing.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The RainSoft dealer in Bakersfield spoke with the customer yesterday and clarified the warranty with her. Our dealer noted that according to her service history, they have only charged for filter changes and a carbon exchange in the whole house filter. The customer is currently waiting for a part to arrive and was under the impression she would have to pay a second service call when the part arrived, which is not the case. Our dealer will be seeing the customer tomorrow to complete her service.

My son told me about RainSoft. I gave them a call the other but it got by me and I finally got it installed this year. The installer was very personable. I had a water softener but the biggest initial change since having RainSoft is from the iron filter that they installed in line with the water softener. The water doesn’t have a smell and there’s no rust anymore. I was extremely happy with it.
I had a reverse osmosis system installed. I know the whole house system was gonna be expensive, but I was going to do it regardless. I know other people have the same issues that I do and I would recommend RainSoft.

I heard about Rainsoft from two friends who also use the same company and the same system. The rep’s visit was very good. It was very thorough. It was the same person that also serviced my two friends who recommended them. It was nice to have that consistency. That was reassuring.
I recently purchased this home. They did have a system with another company as part of our home inspection. I asked for that to be fully checked and serviced. They gave it a clean bill of health. However, every toilet in this house looked like a 7-Eleven toilet. It had hard water buildup where you had to use a pumice stone to scrape it clean.
It had green and rust-colored staining all in the bowl and the sides in the bowl. And the reason I didn’t use that company was because they were pissed when I called to have them pick up their stuff. You should not have toilet stained like a gas station toilet if the system was working properly. They lost my business because they acquiesced to the seller who did not want to pay to fix it right. I paid to replace seven toilets because they were stained beyond saving.
I have a water softener, iron filtration, and I have a black light. I’ve already recommended my mother in Pennsylvania to reach out to RainSoft. She lives in a very rural area. The RainSoft representative would have to come from 30 minutes away but he said he will so I’m very happy. I also had RainSoft in my previous home and it was very good.
I use Waterboy for my Rainsoft system. I’ve had the water tested and my retest after the black light was failed. It kept getting lost and they had to keep coming out so one of the customer service girls at the office came to get the test to make sure it gets to where it’s going. Waterboy here in Virginia has outstanding customer service.

Our water softener system went out and we were in a bind and needed something. We called our neighbor, who we knew had a system too, and he recommended RainSoft. They're not very well advertised, but maybe if I had taken time to Google water softeners, they might have popped up. I didn't do that though. Our neighbor was familiar with RainSoft and they were local, though that was not really an issue.
We called RainSoft and the gentleman was in the office at the time. It was about 5 o'clock and we were desperate 'cause we really wanted to get our system fixed. It was from another company. The gentleman's office is at least three hours from us, and he said, "If you guys are still up, I can come by there when I get done here, probably about 9 o'clock." We said, "Fine." So, he came by, and he sold us because he demonstrated a lot of things about the water and the system and what it does. Our RainSoft system works much better than our old system did.

He also had a guy with him he was training, so it made it fun too. A guy came in and did the install, and he had a guy with him as well. They were both good. The company that's doing the install is on their game.
I also had a guy come out this last week to double-check everything was working right, to test my water again to make sure the soft water system was set right, and to make sure it was working efficiently. It was all good. They've been great to work with, and the system seems to be working well. It's just a water softener involved with that, but my wife likes it and I do too. RainSoft is awesome and it's worth it. I wanted to be able to drink water from my refrigerator. Even though I had a new refrigerator and it had a brand new water filter in it, the water still used to come out not good, so I didn't drink it. Of course, the water in the faucet wasn't good as well, so I used to buy water. I got RainSoft's filter on the house and told the man about the refrigerator. He said, “Don't worry, ‘cause when we hook this system up, that water is gonna start coming out that refrigerator tasting good,” and it does. I love the fact that I can walk up to my sink, turn my water on, and drink it. I do it on purpose, especially when people come to my house, and the water is so good.
Because the water goes through the whole house, I also feel more comfortable brushing my teeth with the clean cold water. When I take a shower. It feels good and now, I'm taking more baths than I usually do. The water feels different and it's making me feel like I wanna go take a bath even though I just had one! I got the soap products too, and I do in-between cleaning on the stainless steel appliance I use. I got a spray bottle that I put water in, and then I still got the glass cleaner. I really love it.

In fact, the desalination unit was rated to last only 10 years, and it lasted a lot longer than that. When they noticed that my unit was way past its useful life date, they offered to replace it and the price they quoted was really high. But they cut the price in half. Then I asked if they could cut anything more off, and they said they won't charge me for this year's equipment. They do the filter exchange every year and that's $250. They waived that as well. Everyone we spoke to and dealt with was wonderful, until we purchased the system and it was installed. Customer service was great, got back to us quickly and were flexible with scheduling appointments, everyone was so friendly. Then, they installed the system, I attached 2 photos, of their less than quality work. The staples holding the cord to my wall right out in the open... Really? There is no nicer/cleaner way to make that work? The bigger problem is/was the first picture. That is the hole they made in our wall to run the cord through to the outside unit so it has power. I can understand that a hole needed to be made, but I do not agree with how they left it. That is a sizable hole to just leave as is. It is going directly outside. Creatures and insects can stroll right in! They did not try to use anything to fill it in!
We did not get angry or upset, we just simply gave them a call and requested someone to come take a look and see what they could do to repair it or at least look decent. No one returned our calls. Then a couple weeks after everything is set up, they send someone out to make sure all the equipment is good and working correctly and to answer any questions. So, when Andrew got to the house and checked everything out, we showed him this damage and said how we had called and left a message but never heard back from anyone. He agreed it looked poorly, that it should get fixed, apologized, and gave us a different number to call, his manager/supervisor directly. He took pictures and made notes on our account about this as well.
We called and left a message multiple times over the course of at least a month. We never received a call back, not one! We had our system installed on April 5th, 2025, Andrew came to the house April 18th, 2025 and we're still waiting for a call... So much for customer service, clearly they only treat you well until they have your money.

We first heard of RainSoft 25 years ago. My mom was getting older, and her skin was giving her trouble drying out. And I don’t know where she heard about RainSoft, but she scheduled an appointment with this gentleman who came out and did a test on her water. And she was just impressed with what she was listening to. And that was the first time that she set up to have the softener filtration throughout the whole house.
I thought it was pricey, and it was something that I didn’t want to do, but she wanted to do it. So, we went ahead, and we did it. But the experience with them has been amazing. It’s just been so top-notch and efficient.
I’ve had it for so many years that I don’t notice the water being soft or anything. I can’t tell. My son says he can’t. And we were talking about changing our showerheads, and my son said it could be the water. It’s not as hard as it was before. So, the calcium buildup doesn’t build up as much. So, we didn’t have to change our showerhead.
But what happened recently, and why I had them come out, was because I had the water filtration system throughout the house. But when it came to our drinking water, I had a little spout on the side that was from Sparkletts. And RainSoft checked that water, and they said that it’s okay. So, years later, Sparkletts changed, and I don’t like dealing with out-of-state. So, I called RainSoft and asked them about the salt, to order salt, and about the service.
And the girl that I talked to said that they have a promotion going on for the sink filtration. And when she told me about it, I told her that I’m sick and tired of dealing with these out-of-staters. So, we went ahead and scheduled the appointment. Now, I told her that I didn’t want to because I had to call Sparkletts back to get them to come and get their equipment. And she said that they’ll take out the equipment, set it aside, and install theirs. So, I talked to my mom, and we went ahead and we went with that.
Even though it’s pricey at first, me not having to pay every month and just pay every two years 100-something dollars, and we’re drinking clear water, it’s good. I’ve dealt with them before, and they’re on top of things. So, what happened was when the guy came out to install the product, the sink, he took the equipment with him. And I was so worried because that's expensive. I was just imagining the worst. When I called up RainSoft the next day, I spoke with the supervisor. It was the technician's day off. So, she had him bring it the next day. It was amazing.
And not to mention, I always order salt, too, because I can’t find the salt that they use anywhere. It’s grounded or something. And being 65 years old, I can't carry those heavy bags of salt. So, for them to be able to bring them and just put them right there is helpful to me, too.

There were issues with the hard water here in San Antonio. We talked to one of their associates at Home Depot and they got us set up with an appointment. The rep was very knowledgeable about the product. She went through the whole demonstration using the water from our kitchen faucet. And she did a cold test, explaining everything. She was really personable and it was a really good demonstration, and we were sure that it was something that we needed.
We now have the top model because I wanted to make sure we get all the benefits. We have the system inside the sink as well.
There used to be a lot of calcification ion the water, heavy mineral contents. Even when we were cooking, we noticed that the taste of the food wasn't as it used to be back in New Jersey. My children’s were reacting to the mineral content. With the RainSoft system, their skin cleared up within a week. Our food's been a lot better, our coffee tastes better. It's just been nothing but a huge benefit since we've gotten it.
We monitor the salt level on the screen that's on top of the machine itself that's in my garage. And my wife also monitors it on the phone app as well. Once it gets to a certain point, we would just reach out to the company and they'll provide us with the additional salt.

We already had a system in the house from the previous owner, but it was located outside, so we called RainSoft to replace it because we wanted it in the garage. The installation went smoothly, and the installer was amazing. In terms of customer service, it seems like communication is not their strongest point. The price is quite expensive, but overall, I don’t have any issues with the system. If a friend or a family member is looking for a system, I would tell them to go for RainSoft Water Treatment Systems.

We needed a water system because we have such hard water where we live, and a RainSoft sales rep actually came by. He was really nice, knew what he was talking about, and he answered our questions. So, we got a system that covers the whole house, and we have it in the kitchen sink, and the water now is a lot softer, and it’s nicer to take a shower.

The Home Depot rep made it very interesting for me to sign up and have someone come out and give me a presentation on RainSoft. Once I got the presentation, they sold me on it. So far, my wife and I are enjoying the system.

We have the RO RainSoft system and it takes out chlorine. I've always been cognizant of water, how many chemicals are in it, PFAOs, and runoff. We lived in Kansas and then here. Our water is hard, but with RainSoft our water is now super soft and there is less consumables. Get RainSoft. It's expensive but it depends on what your budget is and the economy. Also, it's what you're putting on your body and what you're drinking.

RainSoft had a free test kit. I sent that off and a guy came out and did more tests. Just seeing all the dirty and nasty stuff was why I got RainSoft for the whole house and the drinking water. Everybody I worked with, from the customer service on the phone to the salesman to the installer, everything was great. In the short term, there has been a change in the taste of the water. I'm sure in the long term, we'll see less corrosion around where the water comes out of like the pipes and all the faucets.

We reached out to Home Depot and they sent RainSoft. The salesman was very knowledgeable and interesting, and he did a good job selling the system. The installation was excellent.
Since having RainSoft installed, our skin has been so soft, and it takes a lot less soap for laundry. Even the laundry comes out feeling softer and cleaner. We love it. In fact, we went out of town for a few days and couldn’t wait to get back to our RainSoft water.

I got my RainSoft system in California through Home Depot and brought the same system with me to North Carolina. It’s been working great. When we had the hurricane, the water in my house was fine, whereas a lot of people in the area had water that wasn’t safe. I did have to install an extra system for something in the drinking water. I would definitely recommend a RainSoft system if you’re on well water.

When we moved to the new house, I received a flyer in the mail from RainSoft. I needed to install a water filter system because the water smelled. It’s a whole house system and I chose the most expensive one. It's only been installed for three months and it's a good system. The water tastes much better. I already referred my friend.

We just knew we needed something for our water at our new place in Arizona, and RainSoft was there at the right time. We have a whole-house filtration system with reverse osmosis. Our water is great. We use less soap. m hair is softer, all that kind of stuff. And there's no upkeep now. it looks like what we need to do in the future is just very low maintenance. RainSoft is definitely worth the money.

The sales representative at RainSoft was very nice and knowledgeable. I purchased a water softener, a filtration system, and a reverse osmosis system. The installers who came were very professional and experienced. Since having the water system, we definitely feel a difference in the shower. Everything just seems to be running a little bit smoother. We’re not getting all the rings around the toilets and sinks and everything like that.

We switched to RainSoft and the consultation was great. The system is working great as well and we love it. Before, the water had an irony odor to it. I also had an orange stain on my sink a lot. Now, it's pretty much gone. We didn't change the filter as soon as we should have. But after we changed, it was beautiful again. We told a few of our family members how the water was amazing after. RainSoft is really good.

There were water stains in my shower and on faucets. RainSoft did a water assessment and explained how much impurities are in our water. They then compared that to having a filter, and we went from to have a whole house system installed. Everything that comes into the house runs through a filter. I no longer have hard water stains or clogged faucets. The taste of water is 100% better. My soap lathers up a lot faster. I am well pleased with it and have no complaints. I have already recommended RainSoft to friends.

RainSoft’s system served me well. I enjoy the soft water I get for showering and it’s done what I’ve expected it to do. I just recently upgraded my system for the drinking water under the sink and I’ve been thinking about calling them back to tell them that my water pressure from my regular faucet has been low. They normally come out and take care of my problems.

I noticed a lot of calcium buildup around my appliances and even my water wasn't as hot. RainSoft was at Home Depot, and Steve came out and tested my water. I chose the whole home system, and then did the reverse osmosis under my sink and got the washing machine one, too. Now, my water's a lot hotter and there’s no calcium buildup. It leaves your skin feeling soft and silky, your hair feels nice. It really cleans your dishes. There's no hard water buildup, any spots or stains. My clothes smell great. I don't even have to use soap. And there's very minimal upkeep. I just have to fill the salt maybe every three months.

I officially joined the RainSoft family a week ago, and today I had my system installed! Jacob came out and truly went above and beyond. Because my home is an older one, he had to install the system in a shed—he worked tirelessly all day in the heat to make sure everything was done right. When the installation was complete, he took the time to walk me through everything with patience and clarity. A huge thank you to the entire team who helped me throughout this journey—Olivia, Isaac, and Jason. Your professionalism and care did not go unnoticed. I’m incredibly grateful!
