RainSoft is a good product. It was actually the cheapest one. They’re the local dealer. Customer service and the sales representatives were good. We got a water softener. Installation was quick, taking only an hour and a half.

The RainSoft representatives are great. The problem is I shouldn't have to call that many techs out. First, there were still air bubbles, so he drained the kitchen faucet. Second, the water is cloudy in the bathroom. Once we let it sit, it dissolves, but it shouldn't still be doing that since we had it installed in December and it’s almost March. I don't know if it’s with the installation, but they need to do something better.

RainSoft has been an excellent experience for us. The staff who came for the presentation were very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, making the process smooth and informative. We opted for the whole-home system along with reverse osmosis, which improved the taste and smell of our water significantly.

The installation took about two days, and I felt it went quite efficiently. After the installation, the team walked us through the entire system, explaining everything and ensuring we understood how to operate it. Overall, I'm pleased with RainSoft and the positive changes their system made to our home's water quality.

I purchased a Rainsoft water purification system through the Home Depot website, and it has been installed throughout my entire house. The installation was excellent—everything was explained clearly, and they even leveled the ground for the outdoor unit, ensuring it was stable.

I've noticed improvements since its installation in late December. Before we had the system, there were brown and slimy spots that are now gone, and my dishes are coming out cleaner. However, there's a bit of a white calcium buildup, which I've attributed to the very hard water in my area. The taste of the water was initially a bit unusual, but it is much improved.

While the system is quite pricey, I was in a fortunate position to afford it outright from a settlement. The cost might be daunting for others, but given the features and not having to touch the salt for eight months, it seems reasonable.

Overall, my experience with Rainsoft has been positive.

I recently purchased a Rainsoft water softener for my home, after receiving a cold call from them, which I believe was part of a wider outreach to new homeowners in my development. The sales representative set up a demonstration, which I found to be quite informative. They explained how the system would improve the quality of our water, and I appreciated the clarity provided.

The installation process was straightforward and efficient. The technician arrived and completed the work in about 3-4 hours, setting up two tanks outside, a salt deal, and a component above the washing machine. It definitely caters to the whole house. While there wasn't much to explain about its operation—since it runs mostly on its own—the technician ensured everything was set up properly. Since installing the Rainsoft system, I've noticed a marked improvement in our water quality. The most significant difference is the absence of chlorine taste when drinking the water. Overall, we're pleased with the system and have no complaints. If a friend asked, I'd tell them it's a system worth considering.

We did a free water sample test at Home Depot, and the representative we worked with was very informative and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. On the day of installation, the installer was accommodating and attentive to our preferences, ensuring the system was set up according to our wishes. The system covers our entire home, with an additional feature in the kitchen and extends to our outdoor water supply as well.

Since we started using the system, we've noticed an improvement in the water taste, and it feels softer too. If a friend asked for our opinion on RainSoft, we'd suggest they consider checking them out.

Overall, we would recommend RainSoft, rating our experience a 5. The customer service and quality, from the initial water testing to the installation process, were excellent, meriting another 5. While the cost of the service was higher than we'd like, it appears in line with similar offerings, and we'd rate it a 3 in terms of value.

Needing a new water system, we explored options at Home Depot and found RainSoft to be the most affordable. We took advantage of their free water test offer, which was great. The representative, Dale, was outstanding; he was thorough in his explanations and clearly passionate about his work.

The installation team was eager to come the same week we bought the product, but we scheduled for the following week due to our availability. Their flexibility was appreciated. Once installed, the difference was immediately noticeable; the water quality improved significantly. Previously, we had hard water that caused major issues with our pipes and appliances, but the new system has resolved those issues.

RainSoft continued to impress with solid follow-up customer service. Maxine called twice to ensure everything was running smoothly, which was reassuring. Overall, I hold RainSoft in high regard. We still proudly display their sign in our yard even in the snow because we've seen such a positive change in our water quality—it’s something others in our area could benefit from too. I highly recommend RainSoft and rate my entire experience a solid 5 out of 5.

I initially heard about Rainsoft through Home Depot. They came to my home for a presentation, which was excellent. The demonstration was hands-on and informative, and I appreciated the detailed explanation of their products. When it came time for installation, a respectful group of young men completed the setup in under two hours and addressed all my questions.

Since the installation around October or November, I have noticed an improvement in the water quality. It took some time for the water softness to spread throughout the house. I even had to request a re-test to ensure the hardness was appropriately adjusted, which they handled efficiently. They had explained that it might take several cycles for the system to clear out any remaining hardness in the water, which proved to be accurate. Now, the water tastes great, and I'm very satisfied with the results.

I would definitely recommend Rainsoft to friends or family facing similar issues. It's worth the time to see the benefits. Although the system is somewhat pricey, the peace of mind and warranty make it a worthwhile investment, akin to financing an RV that doesn't depreciate over time.

In terms of ratings, I would give Rainsoft a 5 out of 5 for my overall experience and a 4 out of 5 when considering the cost. The hiccup with paperwork was minor and separate from the installation and product performance .

I purchased a RainSoft water purification system for my new home. The system was introduced to me by a caller, and I opted for the $10,000 plan, which included installation. A technician came over and set up the system, which includes a feature for adding alkaline to the water.

Initially, I noticed a strong, unpleasant odor in the water that contained alkaline. I'm unsure if this is normal or if there is an issue with the purification process.

In terms of system maintenance, I add salt regularly and the technician mentioned they'll handle periodic servicing every six months or annually. The installation process and the technician were satisfactory, as they completed the job on time and followed the plan correctly.

I first heard about Rainsoft from a family member. We decided to look into their systems due to some skin conditions a few household members were experiencing. The consultation process was seamless; I called Anderson Water and Heating, and they scheduled a representative to come out and test our water. The representative did a good job explaining the system, although it wasn't in-depth. The water testing results weren't surprising given our location, and we opted for a whole-house system.

Since installation, the water is noticeably softer and clearer, and we no longer have that white, crusty buildup. While the skin conditions haven't fully improved yet, we're hopeful with more time. Overall, my experience with Rainsoft has been excellent, from their professional and helpful service team to the clarity and quality of their product. Although the price was on the higher side, nearing $6,000, I still find it reasonably priced for the service and product quality. I haven't used their app to monitor our water.

I was previously familiar with RainSoft as I was a customer about 12 years ago. When my brother decided to have it installed, he referred me to them, and I decided to get their water treatment system again. My experience with the RainSoft representative was quite positive. He was knowledgeable and straightforward, making the interaction enjoyable.

I am satisfied with the system so far. I haven't faced any problems or concerns, and I've noticed the softness of the water after installation. As for maintenance, I haven’t had to do anything yet. I actually signed up for a service to have someone come out to handle the salt levels. When I checked about a month ago, the salt level was still high. My only concern is whether someone will notify me to check the levels or if it's my responsibility. I was advised to use an app that monitors the level, and I could contact the representative for more information.

On a recommendability scale, I would rate RainSoft highly. I believe it’s a good system for anyone interested in having soft water. I would recommend it to friends based on my positive experience.

Before getting the system, I didn't drink or cook with the water because it was hard water. With the RainSoft system, taking a shower is much more enjoyable. The soap lathers better, and my skin feels softer afterward. It's nice on my hands when I do the dishes or wash my hands, too. It even leaves my hair less dry.

My interest with RainSoft was piqued when I walked into Home Depot and was approached about testing our water, which I had been considering due to hearing some concerns about our town's water quality. It was a convenient opportunity, and I'm glad we did it. Kelly, the person who conducted the water test, was dynamic and knowledgeable. Her presentation was impressive, aligning with what I already suspected about our local water quality. She was straightforward without any pressure to buy, which was appreciated since the price discussion only happens at the end.

The installers were professional, punctual, and I felt reassured by the communication about who would be coming to our home, which is important these days. After installation, there was a noticeable improvement in our drinking water; the unpleasant chlorine smell was gone. Even my husband, who isn't usually as particular, noticed a difference in taste and smell. But there is an issue with laundry. I've been advised to wash everything in cold water, but it seems ineffective on stains, despite pre-treating them. Additionally, my high-efficiency washer doesn't allow for more water, which complicates the situation further. I might reach out to RainSoft about the laundry concern and seek their advice on softener use and water quality. But overall, I'm pleased, especially with the reduction in shampoo and soap usage, making showers more efficient.

I initially heard about RainSoft through an advertisement and decided to look into it because my water quality was really poor for years. The representative who visited was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly, which made me comfortable with the purchase, despite it being on the pricier side. The difference in water quality is remarkable; it is significantly better. My water was extremely hard with lots of minerals, which used to damage my faucets, but now everything functions smoothly.

The only issue I faced was my internet connectivity, as I live in a rural area. I had to get a new Verizon system for the well setup. However, the installer was helpful in guiding me through the problem. With the reverse osmosis system, I don't need to buy bottled water anymore, which is a savings.

The RainSoft system is installed throughout my home, and I would recommend it to anyone experiencing similar water issues. Even though it was slightly more expensive than anticipated—over $9000—I find it worth the investment. It provides peace of mind since I can confidently drink my water, and my grandkids can enjoy it directly from the tap.

The customer service experience has been outstanding as well. Although I haven't needed much post-installation support, the sales and installation team were fantastic. Everything was insulated and wrapped better than I could have done, and I appreciate their effort.

Despite the cost being higher than other local options, which would probably cost around $5000, I’m satisfied with the system. I rated the overall experience as a 5-star due to the excellent service and quality, though I would rate the pricing at 3 stars since it was above my budget.

During their demonstration, I was impressed by how they showcased the water testing process, highlighting the removal of chemicals and additives present in our regular tap water. They assured us that their system would provide cleaner drinking water. An added bonus for my wife was using fewer products in our washing machine, thanks to the improved water quality.

Since installing RainSoft, I've noticed the water feels smoother when washing my hands. My soap lathers more, staying sudsy longer than before. Occasionally, there's a sweet scent in the water, which I find pleasant.

Initially, the wrong product was ordered, but they remedied this promptly by returning with the correct one within two days. The installation team did a neat job and I was very happy with them. While they've yet to follow up on testing the water as promised, I did notice that the water feels softer, particularly when showering. Despite the minor follow-up issue, I'm very satisfied with the service and would confidently recommend RainSoft to others.

We had RainSoft installed through a company that partners with Home Depot in Philadelphia. The tech that came to do water testing was very knowledgeable and demonstrated the way the softener and filter work very well. After having skin issues from using hard water, this seemed like a no brainer. We’re about a month into using the system and have noticed that our dishes dry down without residue, our shower doors and hardware also have much less residue on them. My skin has started healing and I was able to start using fragrances again.

The installation process was also explained to us during the demonstration and the installer was here the next day to hook up the system. He did a very neat job and explained everything that was expected from us and from the company to maintain the system. Overall, we’re very happy with our experience.

Since having RainSoft installed, our experience has been positive. We first encountered RainSoft while shopping at Home Depot when a representative approached us about our water quality. The person who came to demonstrate the water test at our home was very nice and helpful, thoroughly explaining the process and providing clear demonstrations.

The installation process itself was smooth and efficient, completed quickly on the scheduled morning. Since the installation, I've noticed a significant improvement in the water quality. Everything feels much better, especially when washing hands, dishes, and showering.

However, I was informed that some products would accompany our RainSoft purchase, but I haven't received any follow-up regarding that matter. Additionally, despite being told there would be another test after installation, there hasn't been any contact for further checks, which I found lacking.

Overall, I would rate my experience with RainSoft as a 4 out of 5, mainly due to the follow-up issues.

I first heard about Rainsoft through my nephew, who had their system installed. I was considering it for my home, so I had Rainsoft and another company come out to discuss their products with me. The Rainsoft representative was efficient and knowledgeable. On the installation day, the process was smooth. They were punctual, turning the water off and on as needed, and the setup of the canisters in the basement went just as planned. The team ensured I understood the system, though I already had previous experience with similar ones. The improvement in my water quality is significant. This system is a big advancement compared to the ones I've used before. Being computerized and digital, it handles tasks like backwashing more efficiently, even retaining settings during a power outage, which is a substantial benefit. If anyone asks me about Rainsoft, I’d say they offer a good product with reliable service. Everything they promised was delivered on time and within budget.

I've been a longtime user and advocate of RainSoft systems, having owned them in four different homes since 1990. My initial purchase was a water softener and reverse osmosis system, and I've been impressed with the product's ability to effectively remove 97-99% of contaminants, whether from well or city water.

When it comes to upkeep, the main requirement is adding salt or potassium pellets for the soft water, which some might find heavy, but it's essential for achieving soft water. My interaction with RainSoft representatives, like Jared, has been positive, and I'm considering recommending them to others based on my satisfaction with their service.

In terms of family recommendations, I've purchased RainSoft systems as gifts for my children, including a reverse osmosis system for my daughter. Our local water has a high chlorine content, and I frequently talk to neighbors about the noticeable improvement a RainSoft system can make.

While I didn't have a TDS meter to measure the water quality before and after installing the system, the significant reduction in chlorine was evident as the existing levels were high enough to resemble a swimming pool. Overall, I strongly recommend RainSoft for anyone looking for reliable water treatment solutions.

I first heard about RainSoft at Home Depot. Living in Texas, we struggled with poor water quality, which led us to research water treatment systems. We ultimately chose RainSoft, and I'm so glad we did. Setting up a consultation with their sales representative was seamless and informative. The whole process from installation to follow-up was fantastic, as they took the time to explain each step in detail.

We decided on a system that serves the entire house because the hard water had corroded our faucets, making it impossible to refurbish our bathrooms without the risk of corrosion again. Since having the RainSoft system in place, we can now drink the water confidently, and it's been beneficial for laundry and showers too.

If a friend asked about my experience, I'd recommend it strongly, especially if they live where water quality is an issue. I rate our overall experience with RainSoft as outstanding, particularly praising their customer service and the quality of the system. Although it was a significant investment, it was definitely worth it.

Living in Limestone County, Alabama, we have hard water, which caused us some issues like lime and water spots. Since the installation, I've noticed a reduction in those problems, although we are also taking better care of things now.

The sales representative was helpful, and the installation was great—the technician came the next day, put the system exactly where I wanted it and completed the job efficiently in a couple of hours. The only downside I've faced is with the financing part. I knew it was already gonna be a little high, but after the financing came through, I realized that 10% is more like 90%. I made a $100 payment on it, but the interest rate is so high that we only paid off 25 bucks.

I installed a Rainsoft water softener system due to the hard water in my house, which had a lot of mineral deposits. The city's water, sourced from deep artesian wells, was full of various minerals, prompting my interest in a more effective solution.

Since the installation, the improvement has been significant. The water feels much cleaner and tastes better. Even showering now feels different – as if I'm truly getting wet – thanks to the enhanced water quality.

The Rainsoft representative provided me with a contact number for any issues. He informed me that the first set of filters was complimentary, with subsequent replacements requiring payment. I've had the system for about three months and haven't needed to perform any maintenance yet, but I was told to expect to change the filters and add salt to the tank eventually, which sounds simple enough.

Although I didn't win, it led to a consultation with a Rainsoft representative who came to our home, conducted a water test, and discussed our water quality concerns. Their representative was very knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. Despite a few instances of phone tag, we finally succeeded in arranging an appointment.

We decided to purchase the main unit that treats water from the main line to the entire house. I didn't want just a simple under-sink solution; I wanted all water sources – faucets, showers, everything – to be treated. Having been in the house for almost seven years, I noticed stains and calcification, and felt our water quality was poor. I wanted to invest in a comprehensive solution for the health and well-being of my family, considering issues like contaminated fridge ice affecting our drinks and water involved in everyday activities like teeth brushing.

The Rainsoft system has improved our water quality significantly. It's comforting to know we can consume and use clean, filtered water throughout our home. I've noticed improvements in my daughter's skin and my wife's hair. The maintenance of the system is easy too; we just need to load it up with salt for cleansing and cleaning, which is minimal effort.

If I were to rate Rainsoft on a scale from 1 to 5, I would give them a 5, indicating that I am very satisfied. To my neighbors and friends, I would recommend getting a water treatment system installed at home. Our municipal water treatment plants unfortunately allow certain contaminants, which although considered safe by some, aren't truly healthy. Overall, the system has been a great investment for our household's health and comfort.

I first learned about RainSoft years ago and decided to explore their products because I wanted better quality, purified water at home. Setting up the consultation with their sales representative was easy, and he was very professional during his visit. I opted to purchase their whole house system.

However, my experience with the installation team was quite frustrating. They couldn't find where the water came into the house, and they dug in the wrong place for several hours until they said they were gonna start at my meter and dig across my yard until they found the source. I said, “No. You get your guy out here.” They have a machine that will find where the line is. Instead of getting him out here at the first, they dug all day in the wrong place because the lead guy wouldn't listen to the helper guy. They dug all day, couldn't find it, finally gave up and went home, and came back the next morning, and brought the other guy. Within minutes, they had seen where it went into the house without digging. I was very irritated with all that. But they got it done.

Since installing the system, I've noticed that it's harder to rinse off soap from the skin—indicating that the water might be too soft for my preference. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the system and prefer having my hard water back. RainSoft does not offer a buy-back option once it’s installed, which is disappointing.

In terms of customer service, they did a good job, and I'd rate them a 5 for that. The whole house system itself also deserves a 5, but the complimentary products they provided are not to my liking, so I'd rate them a 3. The sales and marketing process was also smooth, deserving a 5. As for the price, I'd give it a 3, finding it average.

Initially, I was a bit hesitant, but the presentation was compelling, and the water test results were convincing, so we decided to go for it.

The water softener is working great. The water feels different now—smoother in a way that's hard to describe. The representative explained it was due to the natural oils in the skin, and the water indeed tastes much better now. The water tastes great. We never used to drink directly from the faucet, but that's changed. We've also significantly reduced our bottled water usage by filling containers from the faucet. The refrigerator's water dispenser and ice now have a better taste and no smell.

Maintenance is straightforward; we just need to change two filters on the osmosis system yearly and keep the salt dispenser filled. Every few years, RainSoft is supposed to come out and change the filtration media.

I would definitely recommend RainSoft to neighbors considering a better-tasting and feeling water system.

Where to begin, super friendly staff, BUT! Had a 10k plus system put in at my home in the Bluff. When it was being installed, I asked if it would work having it installed outside because the control box (whole system really) looked less than robust. Inside they installed a free reverse Osmosis, came home day one and water was flowing from under my sink. They sent someone every other day and the leak never was fixed. Called my guy Barry Wirt at Triton Construction and he fixed it in about 10 minutes. I digress.

The system never has worked more than a week at a time. The control box was plugged in with a less than robust tiny wired box, it just so happens that the cord was draped across the boxes for cable and phone on the side of my house. The tiny cord became cut a bit (we don't know how it was cut) and the control box was never on for the first couple of months and the salt was staying at a high level. We tried calling and they came out and they repaired the wire with splicing and taping it instead of a new box and cord. They also replaced the box and showed me that it was up and running.

The box was burnt out more than one time, and it was replaced and they charged me 134.50 this last time they came out to replace it. They were again, very nice, but the system does not work. The box is out again after being replaced again back in September. I purchased this 10k + system through Home Depot, but Home Depot doesn't care about the deal. I paid the system off through a finance company AQUA FINANCE in 8 months, but I feel that 10k is wasted because I don't think the system is robust enough to be installed outside, which is very frustrating considering I was concerned of that on day one. Mind you, all the pipes were just PVC and exposed to the weather so I carefully insulated them with materials I purchased at Home Depot. We still never see anything on the control box after about a week when they replace it so we think as soon as they install a new control box it fizzles out in the weather dang near immediately. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

The problem started when he changed the outside filter for over $400. Salt bridge was still there and when I let all the salt run out to the bottom like he told me to. That's when I hit the salt bridge. Deidre wanted to charge me two hundred dollars for him to Fix the first time.

Now I've been told to carry out five gallons of warm water to melt the bridge myself. I am sixty eight years old. I've had two shoulder replacements And two hip replacements. Do not use this company They do you right the first few years, but after that, they charge for everything, even if it's the system that screwed up or the tech like in my case that screwed up. Like I said, do not buy a Rainsoft system They do not back their product and they charge you for everything, not worth it. My water isn't even soft. They test it. They say it shows everything's okay and it's soft. I've had water systems And softeners for over 25 years. I know soft filtered water and what it feels like when you shower.

A rep from Safe Step came out and did a presentation of the system and how good it could get, and I was very impressed with it. My wife and I sat down and talked about it, and we instantly said to go ahead and do it. We were hoping the system would help clear my wife's problem of itching all the time, and it's lessened the itching. We're enjoying the system. We have a well water and we were always getting dirty water and having to boil water. Since we went with RainSoft, I'm drinking more water. The water is so much cleaner. Every time I talk about RainSoft, I don't have anything but good praises.

I took a survey at Home Depot then RainSoft contacted me to test the water. The guy showed up on time and was very polite and professional. He did the test and told us it was gonna be 45 minutes to an hour. He put us at ease and it was very comfortable. He told us about the program and what it did and also about the supplies and other things that we can get from RainSoft.

The water testing was very interesting. What we found in the water when he did the test, even the filtered water coming out of the fridge, was enough for the wife to go ahead and purchase it that night. He tested the bottled water, our sink water and our filtered water in the fridge. When he added the soap to them, the filtered one that he did through his system was better and smoother. The other one didn't have much soap in it at all. He brought up the point about the washing machine. A lot of stuff don't get cleaned and the soap just goes away. He even added more soap to that one and shook it up but still, the soap went away.

The installer who came out was very young, but you don't catch the politeness and the way that he acted and handled himself by being in our home. This is very rarely seen from somebody his age in this generation. Since we've had the system, the water is softer. The pinkness in the tub and around the toilets is no longer there, which would be the bacteria that would grow every 21 days. The clothes seem to be better smelling now because the soap's working. We also got the water filter for the sink and we use that on a daily basis to fill up just about anything.

The first time I heard of RainSoft was in Home Depot and they were recommended for the water condition that I had. The rep who came out told me he was the owner of the company for 30 years and then, he retired. He was fantastic in his solution and diagnosis of the problem. We had an iron problem, which turned my wife's hair orange, and the fellow said there were two types of iron I could have and we had both. So, he recommended the peroxide iron system. It works fantastic. Every couple of months, you gotta add peroxide and the salt for the softener. But that's to be expected with any system. A couple of months into it, it’s fine.

The water is very soft. RainSoft was right on the money on what they did and how they fixed the problem. I hope it's what it is. But we don't have the heavy iron or hard water anymore. The water is super silky and soft on your skin. I'm not happy about the water pressure but that could be something different. As far as the quality of the water, it's excellent. I had a great experience. The system is on the higher end of the price range but it's worth it.

When the sales guy came in, he was very knowledgeable. He took us through a few different tests to show what was in the water versus what the product will do to remedy that. He was very knowledgeable in pricing and options and what each add-on would do and the price points would be. So, all in all, it was a good experience on the sales end. But the installation was not as smooth. They did a good job. However, they didn't plug the unit in or program it. So, that was discovered on round three when the finance guy came and had to do a brief inspection. It was unplugged, and so he couldn't really reprogram it. We had to go through a whole thing to get it reprogrammed. But now, it's great. It’s churned along. It's a big budget item but the quality is fantastic. The machine basically runs itself, so there's very little that I have to do. I gotta replace the salt within the year. But all in all, I'm really, really happy with how it's functioning.

RainSoft is a good product. The water is really good. Taking showers is much better than before. They said that there was chlorine in it and when you take a shower, you feel like the water is bouncing off. It was hard. So, it got softened from the salt and everything else that RainSoft did. They told me to put salt in it every six months and to get it from Home Depot. And then, I have to see how much salt is needed. The first time I do, it's gonna be a little different. And then, the filters have to be changed out. They're gonna send it. When they send it, I know how to turn the knob and get those small filters out that are under the sink. As a matter of fact, some guy who came to fix the refrigerator saw that we had the water system and he tasted the water and he was like, "Oh, my God. I want this."

My experience with RainSoft has been a little shaky. The salesman did a great job pitching us the RainSoft product and hardware installation. He really sold it. But the tank that holds the salt has a surplus of water in it. They've already had to change out the salt rocks in it, which we were told that we wouldn't have to change them out for a few months. My parents also have a RainSoft system. They had it installed about four weeks before us and their salt is barely below half. So, essentially, we thought we will be saving money with the system but we're gonna have to buy these bags of salt every four weeks. We called to get it serviced. The guy came and serviced it. But it's still just filling up with water to the brim. So my experience has been an okay to not okay.

We spoke with our dealer in Texas and they provided us with the following information.

We never replaced the salt, so we feel the customer may be confused on that part. According to the service notes from last month, the customer had a power outage during regeneration. The technician cycle checked the unit and all was working properly. The unit regenerates based on how much water is used so every home will be different as far as salt usage goes. We have a lead tech scheduled to go out to look at the unit again in hopes of finding the issue with why the unit is not drawing the brine correctly.

My in-laws had RainSoft in their house and they really enjoyed it. When they moved, I bought the system off them and had the company move it to my house. I used to use a Brita filter when drinking, and I noticed that it's a big difference with RainSoft. The water is much cleaner. I'm happier with it because I feel safer drinking it, and I drink more of it because of that. Also, my wife has got long hair and she enjoys having the system as well.

RainSoft is very pricey though. If the prices dropped a little bit more, RainSoft would have a lot more people interested in it. I had the older system and upgraded to the newer system a few months ago. It took me a long time to do that because I had to spend an additional $3,000 to get that upgrade. But now that I've upgraded to the newer system, it's nice that the app tells me when to put in salt in it.

I went into Home Depot and looked at their other systems. For most of them, you can buy them and have them installed yourself. But with RainSoft, they come out and show you the product. They tell you how much it is and I was able to get it from there. It was less if I bought the system at a Home Depot or Lowe's. But sometimes how they get you is the installation. RainSoft's selling point was I didn't have to pay $14,000 all at once. I could break it down and pay it off as I wanted to or pay more to pay it off. That really helped me.

With the RainSoft system, in the shower, I noticed a difference where I'm still trying to rinse my hands off and all the soap is gone, but it leaves that moisture in your skin. I also have a designated little valve faucet for drinking water. The water tastes the same but they said the system helped with aging of my pipes because that hard water is not running through my house and that's usually what messes up pipes. The RainSoft system is worth getting. My parents took a shower at my house and are gonna get RainSoft for their house next year.

The rep is gonna try and sell us but we’re not gonna accept it. But RainSoft sold itself. The water test was bad to where my wife said we have to do something about it. The rep was informative. He educated us well more than we already knew about soft water and hard water.

The installer did the installation in the morning and we flushed everything out and ran the bath water for 20 minutes on both sides. So, we already started getting soft water. We filtrated the filter in the osmosis system that same day and we got everything running clean. The installers weren't there long but they did everything that I asked for and more. I have grass in the backyard and I asked them to keep that hard water as well as the spigot in the front yard. They were able to manipulate my lines to where my front yard and backyard still get the hard water and the rest of the house gets the soft water, which was great. We've had the system for about three months now and it’s helping with my daughter's eczema.

At first, we were a little skeptical due to the cost but after Dave ** who works for RainSoft educated us on all the benefits we were sold. I recently purchased a home in Brooklawn, N.J. and was totally unaware of any water issues. When we first tasted our water, it was like drinking chlorine and the smell confirmed we has a serious problem. So we had our water tested and found out our water was toxic. This is how RainSoft came into the picture and thank goodness they did. No more bottled water for us.

Our water is the best I ever had. I find myself drinking more water now instead of soft drinks which is a lot healthier. Showering is the best part. This water has a rejuvenating effect with its soft sensation. Also, my cleaning supply bill has decreased by 75%. We use very little cleaning product our RainSoft water does the work. This "miracle water" makes our bodies and clothes cleaner than ever before. My floors look like they are brand new. I cannot say enough great comments about this water. Also, Dave ** and the RainSoft staff are great people to work with. They made the purchasing process quick and easy. So, if you want fantastic drinking and bathing water that does not hurt your budget, Rainsoft Water Treatment Systems is the way to go. Anita **

I had the EC4 water treatment system installed by Professional Water Services, Inc., on February 2, 2021, and from the beginning, it has failed to function as intended. The initial issue was that the unit never used any salt during its first year of operation. Professional Water Services serviced the unit, but despite multiple visits, the system has still not resolved our water quality concerns. In addition to repeated repairs for pinholes in our copper pipes, I recently noticed blue deposits appearing in my showers. Upon reporting this issue, the service team replaced the acid neutralizer two weeks ago, but we continue to experience problems. After adding four bags of salt, they were completely depleted in 14 days without an improvement in water quality.

Given these unresolved issues, I consulted an independent expert from Culligan Water Treatment Systems. They tested our water, confirming that the EC4 unit is not working effectively: our water pH is still at a 6, and the hardness remains, as shown by the deposits and stains throughout my plumbing and fixtures. I still have a balance of $2,500 on this system, and I am highly disappointed to have been paying for a unit that has not delivered the quality of water I was promised. I have submitted a Request for Action under EC4 Lifetime Warranty - AS System Not Functioning as Promised.

The sales rep from RainSoft was outstanding. He took the time to answer any questions. He said, “No question is a dumb question unless you don't answer it.” He was showing us different things about the water and the different chemicals he was using to break it down to our level to understand what he was saying. He took the time out to explain. He said, “Don't hesitate to ask any questions. You have any problem, feel free to reach out to me any time, day or night.”

He said, “You’d get a couple of times taking a shower and drinking the water between the bottled water, the water that you had before, and now the filtered water. You will begin to notice the difference. Because give it about a week or two, drinking the filtered water, once you get used to how the system works, and you'll notice between the filtered water is more smooth versus the bottled water, more dry mouth. And the regular water that you had coming into the house was a lot hard when you take a shower and as you use the soap.”

The installer was wonderful because he was like, “What do you want? Wherever you decide to have it, that's where we're gonna put it at.” I was like, “Well, I want it here.” He said, “Thank you for putting it here ‘cause the closer it is to the water meter, the better it is for you and everything.” I made it easy for him to put the plug, so he didn’t have to do all that digging and running wires. I made it simple for him to do it to plug it up, run the hose through the house I already had and plug it up from the inside. He was very knowledgeable. He was respectful. He was on time.

I like the dude. He said, “If you have any issues about the machine, just give me a call. I'll be glad to help you walk through it.” Jessie was the lady who came out and did the sample again. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have no complaints on all three of them who came out. What RainSoft can do is improve the customer service when you call the number to call. I did have the issue with the machine got knocked off when the power just fell off, and it came back on the reset somewhere where it wasn't supposed to go. Other than that, if I call them, they walk me through the process.

We've only had the product a couple of months, but when my wife and I noticed that our kids' eczema wasn't clearing up, we had a tech come out to do a follow-up. He did an inspection and noticed that one of the motors on our purifier was clogged. It hadn't been working for a good three weeks.

The system is up and running now, and we have noticed that the water is definitely different. We can smell and feel the difference, and our kids' eczema has been subsiding. Rainsoft is an excellent product and people should definitely look into it because when they did the demonstration on the chlorine levels, at least in our area, it was terrifying. I definitely would recommend Rainsoft to family members and friends.

The consultation appointment went very well. The young man was very well prepared, knew his product and explained it well enough that I bought the system. It's very expensive and I would've liked to get it for free, but it is what it is. When the installers came, they worked very hard and did an excellent job. They went above and beyond because they had to reroute some piping through some shelving that I had in the garage, which made it a bit more difficult.

A gentleman came back last week, and he was very informative. He gave me a quick overview of the system again because they had given me one when they started it and showed me how to adjust it. It went very well, and since having our RainSoft system, we've noticed a big difference when it cleared the water when we take showers.

We just purchased a home with a Rainsoft EC5 system that is a year old. This new system was definitely a big plus when deciding to purchase the home. One month after we moved in the system kept regenerating every day. Called the dealer and they determined the Motherboard is bad and is 1200.00 to replace. Motherboard fails after ONE YEAR?! The tech did not check any other parts of the system, just pressed a few buttons.

Lifetime warranty only applies to the original purchaser, which is ridiculous. If they stood behind their product the warranty would follow the equipment. Now I have a very expensive water system that needs to be replaced and I can't see spending 1200.00 on something that has no warranty. What will go next? I expected more from such a well established company. The tech recommended buying a new Rainsoft system so that we would have the lifetime warranty. Extremely frustrated and looking elsewhere for a replacement.

They did a really good job presenting everything and were pretty transparent about the whole situation. They didn't really tell us that they were there to sell us a water softener, though, for a while. So, some of the questions seemed a little odd till they put it in perspective that they were there to try to make a sale. But we ended up buying it. They were really professional. It took a little bit of getting used to the system but it works pretty good. There are a couple of things that I'm not super excited about. But overall, I'm pretty happy with the whole thing.

The water tastes a little different now. We also got a reverse osmosis water filter with that. So most of the drinking water that we're drinking is that. I did ask Rainsoft to put a spigot in the bathroom for the reverse osmosis system. But they wanted a lot of additional money for that and it was not worth it, so we didn't have them do it. I assumed they would include that, but they didn't. I also asked them if they’d put on a bypass so that we could use either hard or soft water on our outside spigots. But they did not install it. They just completely bypassed the soft water altogether. So, I don't have that functionality, even though they told me they could do it and would do it. I was a little disappointed about that.

I will say that I don’t have any issues with the water/system. However when you pay the very expensive fee to install the system they make it seem as though the maintenance is much more reasonable because all you need to do is pay to replace the filters. However I have changed the filter three times since purchasing this system and the price gets more and more ridiculous each time. They call to schedule and they quote me one price. Then when the tech comes he tells me a completely different price and says, "Oh that’s because they didn’t include parts." It feels deceptive and dishonest and I don’t understand why the price for the same filters to do the same job should double in price.

If I had known the cost to replace the filters would double and triple then I would not have installed this system in the first place. You pay an exorbitant fee only for a tech to come and do 10 minutes of work. It’s a handwritten invoice with a simple listing of the price without any details which makes it seem as though they just make a price every year since you can’t verify the actual cost. Do yourself a favor and do not work with this company.

As far as the water goes, I like it. I didn't get it because of softening. I never even thought about that initially. I do like the fact that I don't feel as dry by any stretch. I have super dry skin. So, when I would wash, 99% of the time prior to this, I had to put lotion on immediately or I would be cracking up. Now, I'm coming out feeling a lot better prior to having to do any lotion. My skin feels a lot better.

Me and my family had a gentleman first initial “M” come to my house to demonstrate their water softener system 7/31/2024. He had us smell it, taste it, see it and mostly feel it. I was kind of sold on the feel but was hesitant but of course salesman are taught to be pushy. He tried to sell me on the products (soaps, dishwashing liquid) lasting I can’t remember maybe 3 yrs. Whatever the timeframe I was given I knew it was a lie. I liked the soft feel. I mean the name is called Rain “Soft”. Once the system was installed 8/10/24 I was pleased with smell and the feel when washing my hands. The taste of the water coming from water dispenser from my refrigerator I could’ve passed on. I was told by “M” some people noticed a salty taste from the non-drinking water faucet they installed.

I informed “M” before 9/4/2024 about the feel. He scheduled an appointment to test my water 9/4/2024. He tested the water and the results came back good. We washed our hands and he felt the same thing I felt. He had no reason why it felt different. Then he turned the system off we washed our hands it felt the same. He then told me to give it a week and to call the financing company. Well that was a no go. What should be done next?

Had a EC5 and a Ultrefiner II system installed in 2021 - It is nowhere near worth the price paid - You are also perpetually trapped into a cycle of supporting a local dealer to do general maintenance because they firewall their own filters behind their archaic, overpriced, ridiculous servicing model. This might have flown in the, I don't know - '70s.

The install was a mess from the start - they missed my install date, they messed up my financing and I had to brow beat CITI into fixing something they didn't do, the plumber did not provide the bypass I was guaranteed in the contract, the system broke within months of installation, now their software is on the fritz and regenerating at 90% capacity remaining. My RO is overdue for replacement, but due to the proprietary garbage I have to shell out an exuberant amount to a company I don't want anywhere near my house again.

I plan on ripping out the RO and bludgeoning it to death and replacing it with something that - I don't know - actually doesn't require me to spend 3x what a filter is worth to acquire it. Don't wade into the waters with this company based on the ramblings of a Home Depot 'water purity check' representative - you're far better off looking elsewhere.

RainSoft filters are proprietary due to the comprehensive certifications we have on the Ultrefiner II reverse osmosis. As a result, the overall cost of RainSoft filters will be higher than inferior filters that can be purchased on line.

We have spoken with our dealer in Minnesota who confirmed they haven’t heard from the customer since last November and currently has called the customer twice to address his concerns.

Our contractor said RainSoft was good so we called them and we liked what we heard and the way they did things. The man who came out was knowledgeable and everybody did their job and did it good. We left pleased. The installers got the installation done and left. They told me about when to add salt and we did that last week. We never had a water softener and you got a little film on you when you’re showering or washing things. But after you dry off, you're okay. They warned us about it and we were familiar with it. It feels soft and I'm getting used to it. They call and update me when the charcoal filter needs to be done because they said I'm in the computer system. So, that impressed me a lot and that's what I like. In a year's time or on the due dates to update things, if they call and do that and the system is still working good, then it was worth every penny to do so.

This is the area that needs these systems, so the pricing could have been a little better. A reasonable pricing for new home installations would lead to more sales right off the bat. We were gonna wait to do it because our contractor told us to wait. He knew the costs of these things. But after moving in, our neighbor told us to do it right then, so we did. $8,500 for a new home installation is too high and offering a discount on a new home would go a long way.

They had the water test kit down in Orlando and I picked one up a few years ago, but just decided to recently get the water tested back here in Georgia. The gentleman who gave us the presentation did a great job with it and sold us on it all. We got a full house system with two tanks outside. Before, I wouldn't drink the tap water because I could smell the chemicals in it but now I don't smell anything. I've had several people come to our house just so they can drink the water. There hasn't been much in the way of upkeep but we are a bigger family, so they told us that we would be running out of rock salt earlier than some people. I did notice that that's a little low, so the only thing would be to run and grab a bag of rock salt from somewhere at some point. The installers said that we could get it from Lowe's or Home Depot, but to kind of just wait for when the maintenance comes. If I don't need it sooner, then I'd wait for the one year maintenance.

He made the whole time enjoyable and found out that my water was crappy. At one point, he said he could use a cup of coffee and he flushed it through with his filtered water and then made it with filtered water to show how much better the coffee tasted. I got the water purifier with the salt in it and the control panel. The first price the rep gave me was outrageous. I said I didn't pay that much for my house. He came down a few times and it got to a point where it was still expensive but I could afford it.

By the time the installers got here, I realized I needed permission from the community I lived in, and they realized that I needed it and didn't say anything. So, they just took five and I went to the office to try to get permission but they wouldn't be back for two hours. I went from the original system and went to an upgraded system which is even better. I'm very happy with it. The people from RainSoft are very prompt. They explained everything that they had to do. The maintenance is yearly. I just call them, make an appointment, and they come and do it.

As far as the upgrade, they took out the old one and installed the new one. During that process, something broke on the faucet. They went down to Home Depot and bought me a new faucet and installed that for free. The set up was just as fast as it was, had it not been for the mess up on the faucet, which was not their fault. It's just when they tried to take it apart, it had not been disconnected in 12 years, so it shattered. Nothing's made of metal anymore. Instead of having to get my filters changed every year, now it's every two years, which is even better.

I waited on RainSoft to order my faucet because they didn't have the right color, and then they found out they don't even carry that color. My whole kitchen did the matte black and when they came out, they only had the copper faucet, which was fine. He said, “We'll put this in. That way, you still can use it. And then we'll order you a black one.” Then that took a little while because he had the understanding that they could get a black one, but then they were out of them. So, then they had to order some from a different wholesaler and then come back out and schedule it. They finally came out and replaced it. I've asked them to come back out and do a second water testing because I wanna see what I'm paying for. I just gave them $12,000, and I haven't heard back. So, I till want them to retest it.

Everything was good in the beginning. They have the right person trying to sell you the job. So, that worked. Overall, the water is good. I hate the ozone smell. When they came back out to change out my faucet, I had them turn the thing that goes on to the AC down because that ozone smell is distinct. We did the thing on the washer that has the ozone. So, it's supposed to be where you don't have to use your laundry detergent. I just can't get past the smell and how it makes my clothes and my hair smell because it has that ozone. The tech said just to give it some time, let it do its thing, and see if the smell gets better.

If there's a way for them to capture the ozone smell, it would be good. If I would have smelled that to begin with, I would not have paid for that, because now I feel like I'm stuck with it. I wouldn't have paid the extra to put it on the washer because now my clothes smell like that and I hate it. I'm having to use fabric softener when they told me, “You won't have to use this stuff because it's gonna clean your clothes.” What they don't tell you is the smell. So, you're gonna wanna use this stuff to drown out that smell. So, if I could have smelled that, I wouldn't have done it. I would have still got the water, but I wouldn't have done the add-ons that the rep talked me into.

We went to Home Depot. We asked someone to give us some sort of demo. We were not aware only the RainSoft would come. We planned to buy something else, which would come in much lower cost. But RainSoft came, gave the demo, and convinced us to buy the product. We were looking for some sort of convenience, like not going to a store and buy the different product. So, we thought, "Let's go for it." The installation was very smooth. The technicians were experts and did everything in less than an hour.

When we raised a complaint, we got good support. Things are working good. The expectation of utilizing the water is higher than what we are using from this system and that is causing them not to reset. That less consumption of water probably not aligned the system to reset and causing some sort of hard water in between. So, they came, forcefully reset, reset the setting, and we're good.

We should be very clear about the utilization of water. We are a three-people family, which is small, and we could go for the lower budget kind of water treatment system. I'm not complaining against RainSoft. It's a wonderful system and we are enjoying the water quality. I'm not sure how things would be if we go for any other brand. But if the quality is the same, companies should provide some sort of honesty in terms of which product we should go with if the family size is small versus which product we should go if the family size is high. That's based on our ROI. Otherwise, I'm happy with the product.

RainSoft Water Treatment Systems had a good deal. The sales representative did a good job trying to sell his product. And they offered a deal for doing it first day, first visit, in terms of taking some money off the top, and were able to give us a bunch of soaps for several years, which was a great incentive on top of wanting the filter itself. It's soft water now. The filter does what it's supposed to.

Rainsoft called me for the demo and I set up a time when I was available. Then they came out and tested the water and talked about the quality of the water and what the purposes were. We debated back and forth over certain issues, about how hard the water is and the chemicals. Then we sat down at the table, and the rep showed me what they were offering and what the benefits were and the cost. They were very patient because I can be very direct lots of times in my questioning and my request for answers. They were really good. It's a good product. But it's not something that everybody can afford to do.

My brother moved here two years ago and he got a RainSoft system. I loved his water and wanted the same thing he got. I went with RainSoft and the process was smooth. The rep was a good guy and I liked him. He listened to my concerns about what I did and didn't want, and we came to an agreement. With RainSoft, everything's good. I like the taste of my water. I don't taste any chlorine. I like that the system does my whole house too. I got clean water in the house. If you can afford the system, buy it.

We found RainSoft through Home Depot. They called us and made an appointment. The salesman was excellent in the demonstration and it made us make the decision. We were also happy with the free products that you get after you sign up, like the soaps. That was pretty cool too. We like the interest-free deal, which we're paying off right now. It's wonderful. The best part of the whole thing was the boys that came to do the installation. They were fantastic and so knowledgeable. They took their time, explained everything, and kept making sure if we had any questions after installation. They did a fantastic job. They put the bow on the whole deal. I cook a lot and I wanted to cook with clean water. The water system solves all of our calcium issues and all of the buildup. So we're very happy. I'm really very happy with Rainsoft.

We were at the Home Depot and I saw that little kit to test your water. So we did it and I sent it in. Then we got a call and RainSoft set up an appointment. The tech came by and then we went over it. It was quick and easy. We didn't put a lot of thought in it. The system came with reverse osmosis and we liked that. So we don't have to buy a lot of bottled water. The installation was all done in one afternoon for about four hours. It was a pleasant experience. Nothing went wrong. The guy was a young fellow. He was courteous and polite. We were happy with it.

There's a little smell, but I don't mind that for the trade-off.

The rep was nice with my husband, my daughter and me. He was overall a great guy and very knowledgeable. We ended up getting the water treatment system and the air filter through the house. The installer came over a little bit late morning and stayed till 4:00. I was at home working the entire time, and there were no disturbances. I didn't have to worry about what he was doing. Even though the RainSoft system might be a little pricier, it's amazing. Water tastes better, being filtered, and my skin and my hair are feeling great after the main water treatment system.

The communication between us and the vendors has been a great experience. The team, from the person who came and gave us the presentation to the installer, was excellent. A rep came to the house and gave us a demonstration and full rundown on how the system operates. The installer was very detailed and cleaned up every little thing after himself. That was impressive. We had one issue with one of the systems leaking underneath the sink but they came out the next day and changed the faucet purification for us. Rainsoft is an amazing system. It works. It feels different when you're taking a shower and the water tastes way better when you're drinking it.

The installers were great. They didn't bother me at all. They knew where it needed to go. It was very smooth. Everything is working really well. I'm very, very happy with the system. They did an excellent job and I'm very happy with the result. The price is always an issue and it's always more than what you anticipate it’s gonna be. But water is getting more and more important. I've gotten a good system for what I had to spend.

After a positive interaction with RainSoft Water Treatment Systems, Paul increased their star rating on Aug. 13, 2024.

    Updated review: Aug. 13, 2024

I originally filed a two-star review after I experienced a difficult time getting our local RainSoft installing company (High Quality Water of San Diego) to respond when my system abruptly broke down two weeks after installation. Subsequently the company has been very cooperative, we have now resolved the issue, our system is now working very well, and I'm very satisfied with both the staff and the service. I believe that my experience was a rare result of logistic and communication difficulties. I would recommend RainSoft and High Quality Water of San Diego to anyone interested in dramatically cleaner water in Southern California.

    Original Review: Aug. 3, 2024

We had an EC5 system installed at our residence in Coronado CA on July 1, 2024 by High Quality Water of CA, Inc. Initially we were very pleased with the system and the quick installation. On July 26, however, we got an ALERT message "Motor 1 Failure". I called our installer to schedule a technician but were told that the only person who could make appointments was 'out sick but would call first thing Monday 29 July; (27/28 being the weekend). When that didn't happen I called on Monday and was told that the only appointment person was 'out sick' again, but would call the next day; 30 July. That didn't happen.

When I called yet again I was told that a technician would definitely be here on Thursday, 1 August. On 1 August, a person showed up to test the water and found that our system had completely shut down. I showed him the alert message and he promised to pass it along to the appropriate person. The promised repair technician never showed up and I got a call from the company saying that he was 'out sick' and the first available appointment was Tuesday, 6 August. I requested that the caller find an earlier appointment and explained my growing frustration with the company's inability to provide after-installation service. I was promised that a technician would definitely be here today, 2 August.

This morning at about 9am I got a call telling me that the technician was not going to come and was 'out sick'. The best they could do was offer an appointment on Tuesday, 6 August. Our $8500 RainSoft water system failed completely after only 25 days. That's not satisfactory and, while it's unfortunate and I can understand the possibility of a faulty part or installation error. What I absolutely cannot understand is RainSoft's unwillingness to stand behind their product and provide a swift solution to this failure. Frankly, I'm fed up, frustrated, and quite upset with RainSoft. Your company has a good reputation and that's why I trusted it. At the moment I'm beginning to doubt the wisdom of my decision to trust RainSoft to get this problem fixed. If there is anything you can do to get High Quality Water of CA, Inc off the dime, I would greatly appreciate it. I would appreciate a call back from your office. Thank you, Paul ** ph: **

We really liked RainSoft. The sales guy and the installer were good, then they had somebody come back for quality assurance and do inspection. It was all professional and done well. The only thing was, when the inspector looked at the system, there was a bit of a leak. When the unit was initially installed, there was a little seal inside that got crimped somehow. They were able to fix it right away, and it was fine. The cost of the system was high, but it’s considered a premium product. Therefore, it was worth it for the quality. We really wanted the filtration, most importantly, and it's good. Our water is softer.

The consultation was a little annoying because I was told that it was gonna be an hour or two-hour thing. So it was set to start at 7 o'clock at night and the salesman did not leave my house until 11 o'clock at night. It was a weekday so I had to work the next day and I still hadn't eaten dinner yet. So that was quite frustrating that the salesman did that. But other than that, everything else went perfectly. I love the RainSoft products. I got the reverse osmosis, filter, water softener and one other filter. The installation worked great though the techs had an issue. One of the pieces was broken but they ordered a new piece and the tech came back and put it in.

We had rust stains in our toilets for years and I was sick of dealing with it so I looked into a water system. The sales rep from RainSoft came out and they were super nice and not pushy. But the installation took about three times as long as what we expected for it to take and we had somewhere to be that day. The installer was about an hour and a half late and then we had a few leaks afterwards. But everything is working good. Skin is all the difference in the world. We have been using the laundry system as well and I'm super impressed with that. I like the quality of the system a lot. It's expensive, but it's got a lifetime warranty and it's transferable.

The sales reps were great. They were both very knowledgeable and presented the information very well and let me know everything about Rainsoft. The installation was fast. The only hiccup was the one part was they did not come in on time. But an installation was done within a day. Everything was fine. They just have to come back and change the color of the actual faucet. So, it’s very minor. Since the installation, the water tastes so much better. I have peace of mind when I give the water to my kids as well.

The rep with RainSoft was excellent and the installation was seamless. Everybody loves the water so it worked out like we hoped it would. It's been a great experience. I hope RainSoft gets optimized so that people don't have to plow through Culligan before they get to RainSoft's side. We went with Culligan at first but they said that they couldn't even put in our unit because we had copper pipe. They were too lazy to put in some PVC pipe.

I wanted a better water quality for my family and I. We did the free water test and our experience was really good. We already had an off-brand water softener system, and the guy was able to show me what our water looked like through our normal tap as well as through the softener that we had, which wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best compared to what RainSoft had. That's what drove my wife and I to decide to go with them. We got the drinking filter as well. We set up an installation appointment and they were there within two days. It was fantastic, and we immediately noticed a difference in our drinking water. Our dishes are much cleaner too.

I purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot, and it came with a water test. When the guy showed up and told me he was from RainSoft, I said, “Hey, I could tell you right now it's probably gonna test bad. All my faucet fixtures are turning white and have the limescale on them.” The guy did the water test and explained to me how it was, then I went from there and I was asking him the questions. There was no pressure during the visit, and it was all done and easy.

Even before the water test, I had planned on eventually getting a water softener. I didn't know what brand or what type, but I ended up going with RainSoft. I had their system in my previous house, and I really enjoyed that one. I left my previous system there when I sold the house, and I didn't know how to get back with RainSoft until the guy showed up to do the water test and he was from that company. I had no idea he was from RainSoft until then. When he told me, I thought, “Oh, wow. Well, this is gonna be good.” I already knew what to expect from the product. RainSoft also told me that they would give me an email when it was time to change the filters on the system, then they would have to come and change them.

After I installed the water softener, I waited about two weeks, then I cleaned all of the fixtures and removed all the limescale. The system has been installed for a couple of months, and there's not one speck of limescale on any of my fixtures. Before I got the water softener, I would have to clean the fixtures every month. Overall, I am very pleased with RainSoft, and I would recommend people to buy.
