How to get Mobility123

To get a stair lift from Mobility123, start by getting a customized quote. During the quote process, the team will ask about your accessibility needs, what your home looks like and your estimated budget. In most cases, the company will also complete an in-home evaluation to tailor a solution for you.

In addition to product and cost, the company will also help you navigate things like installation specifics, potential health insurance coverage and any financing options you may be eligible for.

Mobility123 services

Mobility123 offers stair lift installation, customer service and repairs. Its in-house construction team includes three full-time, state-licensed elevator mechanics.

Mobility123 also offers stair lift maintenance plans that help ensure your lift works how it should. These plans include regular cleaning and lubrication, adjustments and testing. These maintenance plans may be particularly useful for older relatives or those aging in place.

Mobility123 pricing

Because each stair lift installation is unique, Mobility123 doesn’t offer any information about the cost of purchasing and installing a lift. This is pretty standard in the industry, especially for companies that sell products from a handful of manufacturers. That said, you can get a free, no-obligation quote from the company.

In some cases, you may be eligible for discounts, financing or insurance rebates. A sales representative will discuss your options during the quote process.

Maintenance plans

Mobility123 sells three different maintenance and service plans:

  • Basic: At $200 per year, this plan includes one annual maintenance service visit by a Mobility123 technician.
  • Standard: For $350 per year, the Standard plan includes two annual maintenance service visits.
  • Access: For a one-time fee of $1,250, you receive coverage on all parts and labor for the lifetime of your system. This plan charges just $49 for service and repair visits but does not include any annual maintenance.

How does Mobility123 compare?

Mobility123’s model selection is somewhat limited compared with competitors, but its manufacturers offer pretty standard warranties, with five-year coverage up to lifetime protection.

    Reviewed Aug. 21, 2025

From our first consultation with the professionals at Mobility123 to the final installation of our Stiltz lift, we have been impressed with the product itself, and with each member of the project team. Every step has been carried out within the original timeline we were given, and the finances were handled exactly according to our expectations. Here's our story: in 1988, we moved into our house, originally built in 1871 as a small two story, two room cottage with a hand-dug basement. Over the years, it has been modified, added onto, and updated by each of several owners, but it still has the original winding staircase from the main level to the second floor.

Due to an advancing neurological condition I have trouble using the stairs. This gave us the choice of either building an addition to our house and abandoning our upstairs rooms, or moving from our home and relocating. Then along came a family member with the idea we could install an elevator. At first, it sounded like a dream, an elite choice that would be beyond our means as retirees. We pursued it, though, and were surprised to find we could fit it into our plans, at just a fraction of the cost of a single story addition or an unwanted relocation.

After careful research, we settled on the Stiltz Duo Alta home lift, with its excellent track record and ability to meet our exact need. We could not have asked for better service or clearer communication. Natalie M. Made a home visit to assess our situation, and came up with an initial plan. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable, she led us through what the whole process would look like, beginning to end. Mike M. And Jim (?) followed through, along with the team members who drew up the required building and electrical plans, obtained the NJ State and local township permits, and the workers who participated in the actual site preparation.

Everyone was highly competent and professional, and so respectful of our space. The final work was done on Tuesday, ending in a full instructional session with Germaine and receiving the keys. (Not a speck of dust or construction debris was left behind.) We look forward to using the lift, no more worries about falling down the stairs, just peace of mind. Thanks, all! I wish I had written down everyone's name to give each of you a shout-out!

Reading your story was a treat. Thank you for taking the time to share it in such detail. Hearing how your cottage has evolved over the decades and how the Stiltz Duo Alta became part of its next chapter is exactly the kind of perspective that makes this work meaningful for our team.

We're glad you mentioned Natalie, Mike, Jim, Jermaine, and the rest of the crew. They’ll be thrilled to know their work stood out and that you felt supported every step of the way. Clean work, clear communication, and a smooth finish are the goals we aim for, so it’s great to know that came through.

Enjoy the peace of mind the lift brings you. It’s not just about avoiding the stairs, it’s about keeping your home fully yours without compromise. We’re honored to have been part of making that possible.

The reason I chose your company is directly related to Julianne answering my inquiries regarding the product and the pricing without all the sales hype. Natalie came and did the measurements and answered the rest of the questions I had regarding the product, and it use. I'm an automotive guy, not a mobility guy. This is all new to me. Between these two, I had the knowledge to decide on the best product for my parents.

I was pleasantly surprised that two young men like Xavier and Bryan could work as effectively and efficiently as they did. Sorry to say that the work ethics of our younger generation don't seem to have the same enthusiasm for the job as they did in my time. These guys were quick and made it look easy. You didn't question their youth versus their skill level. It's a learning curve from here, but I've used it many times already. The product is smooth and quiet and moves you at a comfortable and effective speed. I would recommend the product, the company, and the people I was involved with.

I really appreciate the way you laid this out. It’s clear that Julianne and Natalie gave you the clarity you needed without the fluff, and that’s exactly how we want people to feel when making a decision like this. No hype, just straight answers.

Xavier and Bryan will be glad to hear your feedback too. They take a lot of pride in their work, and I think you summed them up perfectly: young but highly skilled, with the drive to get the job done right. It’s great to know you saw that firsthand.

I’m glad the product is working smoothly for you and your parents. Thanks for trusting us with such an important choice, and for recommending not just the lift but the people behind it.

Being left with a non-functional device was quite concerning, especially when we needed it for my 92-year-old mother. After reaching out to various places, it was clear that the existing model was too outdated to repair, pushing us to explore replacement options.

Mobility123 stood out due to their prompt response and service. They had an installer nearby, who, after taking measurements, was ready to install the stair lift as soon as the next day. Even though the situation started stressfully, the thorough and timely service from the Mobility123 team swiftly turned things around. The installer and the salesperson, whom I communicated with over the phone, were professional and courteous. It was unexpected, but waking up to a message from the installer offering an earlier arrival reflected their understanding of our urgency.

While the overall service was impressive, and I'd rate it a strong 5 out of 5, I am still waiting on them to provide guidance regarding a form for paying taxes on the device. As for pricing, while unexpected expenses are generally unwelcome, Mobility123's costs were comparable to other options out there, making it an acceptable investment in light of the circumstances.

In summary, despite a minor unresolved detail, I'd happily recommend Mobility123 for their exceptional customer service and rapid response, ensuring peace of mind during a hectic situation.

It’s great to hear that our installer and salesperson treated you with professionalism and care, and that we got the stairlift installed the very next day. We know how important speed and sensitivity are in moments like that, and it means a lot to know we delivered.

About the tax form: I’m sorry that piece slipped through the cracks. I’ve already looped in our office manager, and they’ll be in touch shortly to get you everything you need.

Your recommendation means the world to us. Thanks again for putting your trust in Mobility123.

I stumbled upon Mobility123, probably through a quick Google search. I went through some reviews, made a few calls, and realized they could install the chair lift I needed swiftly, at competitive pricing. Their quick availability won me over. The chair lift itself is perfect for its intended function. However, I rented the remote, and it's less than satisfactory. The remote often requires adjusting the batteries, which can be annoying. Thankfully, the lift has a button to operate it when someone isn't in the chair.

It fits reasonably well into the stairwell, folding up nicely without blocking the way. One limitation, though, is my mother's inability to operate everything via remote. She had a stroke and was very independent before. Now, if the chair isn't set up when she's alone—meaning the chair and foot panel down—she needs assistance. That's a safety concern for her, having to lean down and set it herself.

Mobility123 delivered precisely what was promised and on time, which was a crucial factor for me. Everyone I've interacted with has been helpful, making the experience even better. The chair lift greatly impacts my mother’s life, allowing her to navigate stairs independently post-stroke, contributing significantly to her quality of life by having access to different parts of our home. Overall, it keeps her integrated into family life.

Julie, thank you so much for sharing your detailed experience with Mobility123 after stumbling upon us in your search! We really appreciate you taking the time to give us this feedback. We're thrilled to hear that our quick installation, competitive pricing, and helpful team met your needs, especially getting the lift installed quickly when you needed it.

It's wonderful knowing the chairlift is significantly improving your mother's quality of life and independence post-stroke, allowing her to stay integrated with family life – that's the core of what we strive for.

We definitely hear you regarding the rented remote – fiddling with batteries is no fun at all, and we apologize for that annoyance. Please give our service team a call, and we'll gladly troubleshoot that or swap it out for you. We also understand the safety concern regarding your mother needing assistance if the chair isn't already unfolded. While the lift is designed to fold compactly, we recognize this presents a challenge for her independence in certain situations, and we appreciate you highlighting this specific need.

Thanks again for choosing Mobility123; your insights are valuable, and we're here if you need anything else!

I recently found out about Mobility123 through the Consumer Affairs website. I have mobility issues due to my bad knees and wanted to find a solution other than surgery. I purchased a Bruno model stair lift from Mobility123, and it's been wonderful. The lift is effective in getting me up and down the stairs. I specifically chose the manual collapsing front end after speaking with a representative who advised it might be more reliable than the electronic option. The stair lift has been a great apparatus for me and my 16-year-old Shih-Tzu, who can no longer climb stairs.

The performance of the stair lift is outstanding. It has significantly improved my quality of life, allowing me to live in my two-story house without needing to compromise my lifestyle. It's facilitated my ability to remain comfortable in my home without having to consider other living arrangements like a senior house.

Mobility123 is a wonderful, family-owned business. Their sales and installation process was excellent, easy, quick, and painless. I would advise anyone considering a stair lift to go for it, as it can be a game-changer in maintaining your comfort and independence in your current home.

When I bought a Bruno stairlift from Mobility123, we went back and forth with how it would fit in my stairwell. So, they really helped me with figuring out which one was best for our situation. They installed it within the week I made my purchase and part of it was because of the timing of when I would be home. Other than that, the installer was very good and the installation went really quick. The cost was fair and overall, I'd highly recommend them. The stairlift is more for my husband. He really likes it, and not having to worry about getting up and down the steps each day. But I'm having my knee replaced next month, so I'm also going to use it then.
