How to get Mobility123

To get a stair lift from Mobility123, start by getting a customized quote. During the quote process, the team will ask about your accessibility needs, what your home looks like and your estimated budget. In most cases, the company will also complete an in-home evaluation to tailor a solution for you.

In addition to product and cost, the company will also help you navigate things like installation specifics, potential health insurance coverage and any financing options you may be eligible for.

Mobility123 services

Mobility123 offers stair lift installation, customer service and repairs. Its in-house construction team includes three full-time, state-licensed elevator mechanics.

Mobility123 also offers stair lift maintenance plans that help ensure your lift works how it should. These plans include regular cleaning and lubrication, adjustments and testing. These maintenance plans may be particularly useful for older relatives or those aging in place.

Mobility123 pricing

Because each stair lift installation is unique, Mobility123 doesn’t offer any information about the cost of purchasing and installing a lift. This is pretty standard in the industry, especially for companies that sell products from a handful of manufacturers. That said, you can get a free, no-obligation quote from the company.

In some cases, you may be eligible for discounts, financing or insurance rebates. A sales representative will discuss your options during the quote process.

Maintenance plans

Mobility123 sells three different maintenance and service plans:

  • Basic: At $200 per year, this plan includes one annual maintenance service visit by a Mobility123 technician.
  • Standard: For $350 per year, the Standard plan includes two annual maintenance service visits.
  • Access: For a one-time fee of $1,250, you receive coverage on all parts and labor for the lifetime of your system. This plan charges just $49 for service and repair visits but does not include any annual maintenance.

How does Mobility123 compare?

Mobility123’s model selection is somewhat limited compared with competitors, but its manufacturers offer pretty standard warranties, with five-year coverage up to lifetime protection.

I did a lot of research on Mobility123. I felt theirs was a quality chairlift. Mobility123 had good reviews and good rapport. When I called and spoke with them, they were very helpful, friendly, and responsive. The cost was reasonable, and the stairlift as accommodated my wife's life. I had a very good conversation with the rep at Mobility123. I told her that we liked the lift, but there were a few design issues that they should be aware of. They're easy to correct, and they should correct them.

We like the toggle switch. It's easy to operate. But at its location, if someone reaches for the arm for support, like someone who is disabled in some ways, they're not always steady. My wife reached for the arm for support and the machine started working. I've talked to a few other people who said that also happened to them. We want the switch easily accessible, but it's right where someone reached for the seat, it's one place where they would reach just for support, not to have the chair run. If it doesn't operate until someone sits in the chair, that creates a problem, if you want to move the chair up or down remotely. But there are various ways of dealing with that. Get design people around, and they could figure that out.

I have one other comment on the chair, and that is the location of the seatbelt. It is located right behind your rear end, and it's very difficult to reach especially by people with mobility issues. Also, unless you're LeBron James, you can't stretch it all the way out long enough to go in the buckle on the other side. You have to do it with two pulls. You have to pull it out so far, grab it, and pull it the rest of the way. Once you stop with the first pull, it locks up. You can't pull it any further. You got to go back to the beginning. You can't pull it any further. That's a real problem Mobility123 needs to see.

Lloyd, we really appreciate the detailed feedback you shared about the stairlift and your experience with our team. It’s great to know the lift is helping your wife, but we also wanted to share some context on why those specific features are designed the way they are.

The toggle switch is typically placed right at the end of the armrest so that users with very limited hand dexterity can operate it without needing a tight grip or a long reach. The trade-off, as you noticed, is that it becomes a bit too easy to trigger when you're just using the armrest for stability. Regarding the seatbelt, it’s designed to lock quickly and sit further back to ensure it stays clear of the internal gears and the swivel mechanism when not in use. It’s a safety-first design, but we realize that "safety" shouldn't mean having to have the reach of a pro athlete just to get buckled in.

Your points about the "two-pull" struggle and the accidental starts are completely valid. We’re going to pass these notes directly to the manufacturer’s engineering team because real-world feedback like yours is exactly how these designs get refined. If you ever need a hand adjusting anything or have more questions, we're just a phone call away.

I'm very satisfied from the initial visit to the installation of Mobility123. A cousin of mine did the research and looked at several companies. She gave me all the pros and cons of a few of them and we both liked Mobility123. We just thought that this one seemed to meet all our needs.

We actually ended up purchasing two stairlifts from them and they work very well. The customer service was excellent and to the point. They were also very quick to have it installed at my convenience. My husband was in rehab and I wanted to put it in before he came home. They came when they said they were going to come and they got it to me as fast as they could. They were very accommodating and it was much quicker than I thought it would be. They did a really good job. It just went very smoothly. I didn't have to wait long and the installers were very nice and competent. I didn't realize the stairlift would have a seat belt on it, but that's a very good feature.

They gave me all the reading material and did a demonstration. They said if I had any questions, I should call them afterwards. It was really terrific that they were just very responsive every time I called. If I left a message, I got a call back right away, which I thought was really good. It was very reassuring to have them right on top of any questions I had or they would get it for me right away if they didn't know the answer. So they were a very good company to deal with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I think the product is really good.

Sherri, we are so incredibly happy to hear that we could help get your home ready in time for your husband’s return from rehab. We know how much coordination and stress can go into a transition like that, and knowing our team could provide some relief by getting the stairlift installed quickly and efficiently really means a lot to us. It’s our goal to make these life adjustments feel like a breeze rather than a chore, and it sounds like we hit the mark for you.

It's great that you’re finding the seat belt so useful, it’s one of those safety features that might seem small initially but adds so much peace of mind once you start using the lift daily. Our installation team takes a lot of pride in being thorough and making sure you’re an expert at the controls before they leave, so I’ll be sure to share your kind words with them.

Thank you for choosing Mobility123 and for the high recommendation; we’re always here if you or your husband need anything else down the road.

From our first consultation with the professionals at Mobility123 to the final installation of our Stiltz lift, we have been impressed with the product itself, and with each member of the project team. Every step has been carried out within the original timeline we were given, and the finances were handled exactly according to our expectations. Here's our story: in 1988, we moved into our house, originally built in 1871 as a small two story, two room cottage with a hand-dug basement. Over the years, it has been modified, added onto, and updated by each of several owners, but it still has the original winding staircase from the main level to the second floor.

Due to an advancing neurological condition I have trouble using the stairs. This gave us the choice of either building an addition to our house and abandoning our upstairs rooms, or moving from our home and relocating. Then along came a family member with the idea we could install an elevator. At first, it sounded like a dream, an elite choice that would be beyond our means as retirees. We pursued it, though, and were surprised to find we could fit it into our plans, at just a fraction of the cost of a single story addition or an unwanted relocation.

After careful research, we settled on the Stiltz Duo Alta home lift, with its excellent track record and ability to meet our exact need. We could not have asked for better service or clearer communication. Natalie M. Made a home visit to assess our situation, and came up with an initial plan. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable, she led us through what the whole process would look like, beginning to end. Mike M. And Jim (?) followed through, along with the team members who drew up the required building and electrical plans, obtained the NJ State and local township permits, and the workers who participated in the actual site preparation.

Everyone was highly competent and professional, and so respectful of our space. The final work was done on Tuesday, ending in a full instructional session with Germaine and receiving the keys. (Not a speck of dust or construction debris was left behind.) We look forward to using the lift, no more worries about falling down the stairs, just peace of mind. Thanks, all! I wish I had written down everyone's name to give each of you a shout-out!

Reading your story was a treat. Thank you for taking the time to share it in such detail. Hearing how your cottage has evolved over the decades and how the Stiltz Duo Alta became part of its next chapter is exactly the kind of perspective that makes this work meaningful for our team.

We're glad you mentioned Natalie, Mike, Jim, Jermaine, and the rest of the crew. They’ll be thrilled to know their work stood out and that you felt supported every step of the way. Clean work, clear communication, and a smooth finish are the goals we aim for, so it’s great to know that came through.

Enjoy the peace of mind the lift brings you. It’s not just about avoiding the stairs, it’s about keeping your home fully yours without compromise. We’re honored to have been part of making that possible.

My husband had a stroke so I decided to buy a stairlift from Mobility123. I spoke to a rep over the phone and she did a great job. The rep that came and put it on was excellent as well. He was very courteous. He went above and beyond of what he had to do. He was great because they knew I wasn't gonna be here 'cause I work Tuesdays to Thursdays. I said, "The young woman that takes care of my husband only speaks Spanish. Do you have a Spanish-speaking one or bilingual?" They said yes, and they sent me a bilingual person, and he was excellent.

Also, the check had to be signed and my husband would sign it. And he's gibberish. But everything was okay. He helped the caregiver, he told her what to do on the check, and he wrote it out on a piece of paper what the amount was, and then they left me the receipt. They sent me a copy of the check. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

The quality of the stairlift is great. If I were to give it a percentage, I'm gonna give it 100 and above.

We have a summer home that we’ve only owned since 2023, and there was an existing stairlift that was old but it was working. When we got to the house at around 8 PM, the stairlift had stopped working, and my mom, who is 92, needed to get up the stairs. She was able to climb them, but it was difficult. I realized we had to get the stairlift repaired or replaced within a few days. There was no one who was either willing or knew the product, or they felt the product that was existing wasn't that great. I called Mobility123, and they were excellent. They told me they had someone installing a stairlift nearby who could take measurements. I agreed, and they came out, took measurements, and confirmed they had a stairlift in stock that could be installed the next day.

The rep gave me a window of time, but the installer even texted that he could be there in less than an hour. It couldn't get better than this. What was a panic situation when it first happened, they made it so much easier for us. Everything was perfect. The installer and the salesperson I spoke to on the phone were wonderful. It was great. It was an unexpected expense, but the price fell in line with whatever prices were out there. I would definitely recommend them.

Our first experience was with Adam at the showroom. He was extremely friendly and helpful explaining the different models and letting my husband try the models. Next was Xavier. He came to our home and did the measurements. He also waited until our electrician came that was going to install the needed electric so he knew where the best place for the electric we needed. He was extremely friendly, helpful. Finally Brian came to install the unit. He was also extremely friendly and did a great job installing the stairlift. Before he left he had my husband ride the lift up several times and adjusted the seat for his comfort.

The installation of our stairlift went well. Their reps were all great. The stairlift from Mobility123 is wonderful. It goes up and down. It happens in two parts, though, because we have four steps. Mobility123 was recommended to us and when they came out to do their presentation, it was smooth. We’re old people and we had no issues at all. As far as the install, the gentleman came early morning, and we knew when he was coming. He worked through three hours, and he completed the job. He cleaned up, too. The people from Mobility123 were very professional. They allowed us to sit in the stairlift and try it out. They explained what needed to be done to get it to move up and down, and the safety issues that we should be aware of. It's a good fit for us. We're very satisfied.

John, thank you for the honest feedback and for the kind words about the install crew. I understand the two-stairlift setup feels like more of a hassle than a single curved unit would. A curved stairlift was on the table when we quoted the job, but the cost difference was significant and we went with the two straight units to stay within your budget. That's a real tradeoff and I'm sorry it's wearing on you in daily use. I'd like to talk it through with you directly and see if there's anything we can do to make the current setup work better, or look at options from here.
