Magic Chef Microwave Reviews

I like the reliability and the price of this brand. There are numerous other brands out there but I stick with who I trust. The ease of use is a necessity and the fact that they try and keep them up to date with the most current technologies. While they are reliable to use, the durability is not the best. And some that I have owned are difficult to clean. But setting up the Magic Chef microwave is quite easy. You just plug it in and follow the directions to set it up. It is a super simple process which is what people want. The microwave far exceeds normal expectations of this appliance.

I won this microwave in 1999. A couple of years later a family member gave me a different one that was bigger and supposedly better. I put this one in storage but the other one broke down and I took this one out of storage. It is getting older but still worked perfectly. The controls on this microwave are easy to understand and setting it up just included placing the plate, etc. But someone needs to invent a better revolving plate system for microwaves. They are difficult to clean and go off track too easily! I would definitely buy this microwave brand again.

I liked the microwave very much. It has all the latest technology features with advanced starting system and easy to cook anything which is very helpful in day to day life. It’s very simple in setting up the microwave. No need of any assistance and very easy to understand the guidelines and regulations. Am very satisfied with the brand which I bought… right thing for the right price. I dislike anything much instead of loving it and unique characteristics and features when compared to other microwave brands.

The microwave has a clock for telling time that was easy to set and a timer for timing whatever it is I'm cooking. I dont have to constantly check to see if it cooking or burning. Very easy, doesnt take a genius to operate it. The pizza and popcorn button and the quick cook button and that I can use it to warm up leftover, coffee, or just melt cheese on my sandwich, or chocolate, marshmallow for quick dessert, or warm up a cup of hot cocoa, or warm up soup, or a hot pack, I also can make scrambled eggs. The size I would like to have one big enough to cook a meal in. Like a pot roast or a casserole or a tv dinner, or stew. Easy, simple, and just what I need.

The microwave is easy to use and thoroughly cooks the food hot enough. I like that the buttons corresponds to what you want in a cooked meal. However, they should coordinate the timer to make it a simple process. There should be more buttons on it to see that the meal is cooked well because sometimes the meal is not cooked well. It should be easier to use to cook the meal. You need to set in the food and the package must be microwave ready. Set the desired settings and press start to cook. You need to set the timer if necessary. Little time-consuming.

I like that the microwave is 1200 watt which is what most microwave food package cook times are based on. It has a nice sleek look on my countertop and fits perfectly in the spot on the counter. I do wish the inside cavity was just a little bit large so some of my dishes I use to reheat food in would fit in there better, and not occasionally bump the side wall of the microwave. It was very simple to setup and program. I did not even have to use the manual was so very easy and intuitive to understand what to do.

Magic Chef is dependable. Sleek lines with flat screen for easy use and cleaning. Wattage is high enough to cook anything you like. I like the pre timed features for cooking potatoes, popcorn and heating leftovers. Price was reasonable. Color blends in with the kitchen. Size is nice. It fits perfectly on the counter to be used whenever needed. One problem is changing the bulb when it blows out.

The Magic Chef Microwaves meets all of my expectations. Has everything I need, all the bells and whistles. Very easy to set up and use. Simple, cooks food very fast, never a problem. Even a child could use this Magic Chef Microwaves. The cleaning is very easy also. Just take out the glass dish, and wipe out the whole microwave.

The microwave was very easy to set up, basically plug and play kind of setup. Partially digital which I like, also the metal rack with rubber tips is useful sometimes. Convection cooking is always a plus. There are too many dials and buttons and yet it still doesn't have some of the functions I would prefer. A fingerprint free finish would also be nice. I wouldn't say it quite meets my needs or expectations. Just satisfactory is all.

Easy to read screen and easy to use button controls. Kid friendly, easy clean up, smooth turntable movement parts, power level controls. Add voice control option, no touch, auto open feature to help avoid juggling food, auto light sensor, self clean option, runs silent feature. auto sense temp control to help avoid hot spots and ensure even cooking. Smart start options, remember previous commands for certain foods and or drink heating. Auto sense popcorn popping as it reaches the finishing point to help avoid burning popcorn or overcooking food add moisture control. It's a awesome microwave.

The microwave comes with all the standard features to get the job done, plus it has some extra features. My Magic Chef Microwaves has a surface fan that helps when cooking something on the stove and it causes a lot of fumes. It also has a surface light that can be turned on in times when the lighting is less than visible. The surface fan can be a little loud, but since the surface light provides only light to what's directly on the range, there are no features that are untrustworthy. This microwave is simple to use. When I first set it up, all I had to do was plug it up. Other than setting the alarm its been very easy to setup and install.

The microwave is solidly constructed. Haven't had to deal with needing to fix any part of it. It was easy to set up. And even easier to use. The button panel includes all you need to know about operating the microwave. It meets my needs and expectations because I had previously owned another brand that I was constantly frustrated with because it took such a long time to heat up any kind of food. The Magic Chef microwave lets me get to my meal faster and I rarely have to put in the dish for more time. I feel like things heated up faster and more thoroughly when I first started using this microwave, but over time it has not been as effective as I would like.

I like that Magic Chef Microwave has simple and easy to use features. All I did was take it out of the box and plug it in. I thought it was a little small on the inside but it fits my needs very well. The speed dethaw is the most help. It works very well and dethaws food very quickly. The settings for different foods are also very helpful when cooking different foods. But it would be nice to have more space in the microwave so food doesn't get caught on the side when it's cooking. Bags of popcorn get caught on the side and don't spin.

I like that the Magic Chef Microwave has digital timer both for specific menu items and per minute timer. It has alarm bell that tells you when cycle is finished. Microwave also has 3 different power settings for various levels of cooking, low, medium and high. However, this microwave does not have short cooking cycles. Minimum would be one minute. Sometimes I would like to hear 15 seconds for quick heating for example for drinks that only require 15 heating just to remove the chill. Nevertheless, you select menu item with illustration on keypad. Example popcorn three minutes, baked potato 5 minutes, or you can set timer for a certain amount of minutes. Basically this microwave is very user-friendly.

I like that it has a turntable - also that it is also a vent hood for my stove/oven unit that it is installed above in my kitchen cabinetry - it makes for a nice, clean, uncluttered appearance and my kitchen is quite small so it's nice to have it up and off the counter. The one thing I would change would be the brightness of the under hood light - while it does illuminate the rangetop below it, the lamp is not really bright enough to cook by, you still have to turn on the brighter ceiling light to be sure of what you are doing. But it is very easy to operate - has several convenience features like preset buttons for things like popcorn or baked potatoes - also incorporates a countdown timer that is easy to use and lastly has a minute button that can be pressed to start and run the devise X number of minutes depending on how many times you mash the button.

I like that the Magic Chef Microwave has a built-in timer that I can use for other things without me having to use the microwave itself. I also like the defrost setting on it. There's no need to wait for my food to thaw out in an old-fashioned way, especially if I'm running late. However, when the buzzer goes off, it's not really loud enough so it can be heard upstairs. I also dislike that there's no option for adding time to the timer while it's still running. That would be very helpful. Nevertheless, it is a very good microwave, very simple to use and the buttons pretty much explain how to use it just by reading them. It meets my standards very well.

I like that it is compact and heats up food quick. I also like the color of the microwave and that it was inexpensive when I first bought it. The one thing I dislike about this microwave is whenever I place food in the microwave, the food begin to splatter and it makes me want to punch someone in the face for that reason. The microwave is easy to set up. I just press the numbers and select how many minutes I want and it is easy to do that a dog can do it. It is a positive experience.

The push button, clock, turntable and size is many of how it fits into my kitchen. The Magic Chef Microwave is a medium size and not large or too small. It's simply what I wanted and the brand seemed to have a good reputation. I wish that it came in different colors actually or a more chrome look. All types of kitchen products now are ones that stand out and look so nice in a kitchen. It was very simple to set up. Just plug it up and go! The box held the microwave in securely and I liked how it's all simply able to be used as soon as you just plug it in.

I like the Magic Chef Microwave. I have had this brand microwave before and it was easy to set up. It is very simple to set the time I want to cook or at the temperature setting (High, Med, Low). I like the fast buttons that allow you to hit the start button for 30 seconds or the 1 for 1 minute etc. I also like the rotating glass that allows the food to cook at a more even rate. The microwave meets my expectations and would buy another one when I need one.

I have always liked a large capacity microwave which the Magic Chef Microwaves has been. I think that very few microwaves are made that will have the space to accommodate a wide diameter and a high item like a cake and that is something that is desirable at times. The dial options on the microwave are few but mostly all I do is heat or reheat items that have been prepared already. I think that a simple quick heat option for thirty seconds or sixty seconds would be good as well as a defrost option for things like frozen items that need to be cooked or fried. The roller ring and plate that come with the oven of course need to be set in place but other than that the setup is very simple and uncomplicated. You just need to set in on the counter and plug the oven into the outlet.

I like the auto start and 6 pre-programmed settings to make life much more simple. I put my food in the Magic Chef Microwave and at my prescheduled time it cooks so when I come home I have an instant hot meal between jobs and I love that. I used to buy out. When you preset you should carefully read that part though. It is a very efficient machine. It has worked perfectly from the day that I bought it. The Magic Chef Microwave has met more than my expectations and it's awesome.

The process of setting up this microwave was easy. It also came with directions in case someone may need them. The microwave is a very convenient item for my family and I. I like the different timing on it. The features of this microwave with the size of it fits on the kitchen counter top perfectly. Its size makes it easy to lift and carry if need be. This microwave doesn't feel heavy when you lift it which makes it comfortable for traveling and taking this item along. I like the selection that I have, and it meets all of my food needs, especially when it comes to a quick snack that I can place in the microwave and it is ready in 5 minutes.

Setting up this microwave was very simple. I just had to plug it in. I like how easily you can pause and restart it. I also like how it is not too loud or annoying when it is done, how simple it is to clean and how bright the numbers on the microwave are. However, I would get a different color other than white. Having white gets too dirty. If I had a dark color like black then it could be easier to keep clean. I would also have gotten a bigger one for this microwave. Overall, this microwave met my needs and expectations by a lot.

Setting up was easy. Took out of box, set on counter, plug in, set time and used it. I like the 30 sec. button, defrost, 1 and 2 min. buttons, rotating plate, digital display. It takes up little space on my counter, heats food evenly and quickly. Love the look, ease of use of this microwave. Holds up to lots of use and abuse. Has been a very good microwave. Great look and design. Very sturdy.

Magic Chef Microwave is very easy to use, very lightweight. My kids use it. Great to learn. Good for all for heights of all kind. It's so amazing. I like the size, the easy use. It's small, convenient, great, nice, easy to clean when messy. I had it for more than 3 years. Definitely need for bottles and food to be warmed up. It's very good at cooking temperatures. However, the lifespan needs to last longer, there needs to be a better set of colors, longer cord, better set of buttons with options to use like popcorn, defrost. My light cuts off during a heat up. Think it's dying out. Hate the heat raises. Sometimes doesn't heat things up completely. Wish something great on heat, more colors and doesn't take up a lot of space like my crap. Hate the color white. Would like blue or black.

Big buttons are perfect because you want to make sure you're on par with the machine. From popcorn to soup this oven cooks efficiently and correctly but as far as breads go, you need to watch very carefully. Depending on frozen or thawed you cannot just set 20 seconds and expect it to be fine. It could also be a little bigger to cook other things like a small ham. Plus when cooking vegetables, there should be a steam option. I would also put a scanner that reads the item and sets the actual time to prepare. They should have more colors, better light inside, different sizes and better price. Depending on what your lifestyle is you have to worry about elevation and such which i do from item to item.

I've always had that brand and never had a problem. The microwave that I got last time came with the house that I bought and I didn't have a choice but I got lucky and it was magical shift. Very satisfied with the product that I got. Had a problem with the keyboard which the warranty lasts a lot longer and have more options in fixing the product that I got. If it's right under the stove, the size of the microwave is perfect. The quality of the microwave last forever and the price is right.

Magic Chef was very easy to just pull out of the box and sit on my counter top. It is also easy and simple to use and operate. It functions very well. I like the style and color of it. I also like that it is sturdy and high quality. It is perfect and does everything I need it to do.

It's very durable, powerful and is a high wattage. It's easy to see the buttons on it. It also has lighted numbers so you can see them in the dark. You can defrost with it or pop popcorn with it. I like everything about it. Plus it was not that expensive, for the price of this microwave it is a great item to put in your kitchen.

I love my Magic Chef microwave very much. It works so wonderfully. It's stainless steel and looks so nice in my kitchen. It has all modern functions and has different setting program in. Setting up my Magic Chef microwave was so very very simple. All I had to basically do was take it out of the box and plug it in. I needed to set the time but besides that I didn't need to do anything. But some of the programmed choices for soup or popcorn aren't always the correct time and sometimes it needs more or less time.

I absolutely love my microwave and the size. It was really easy to set up, use, and clean. I like the feature that you can brown or cook from frozen. Also like my defrost setting. Has the really great timer feature that I love along with the time and date setting. Also has a really cool baking feature. I am really amazed by everything my microwave does and can do. It is really fun to use. Will not change it for the world. It is great and it is my favorite brand. I highly recommend to anyone.

The Magic Chef microwave was basically just a plug in and setting the clock which are the only settings I had to set up overall. It includes the latest technology which is what I love in electronic products that come to the market. They enable me to put little to no effort into using my microwave. I use all features that my microwave has, some more than others but I still use them all on many different occasions. It meets my needs completely and I have had no problems at all with my device.

There are a few things that I like as features on my brand of microwave. It is a simple microwave with simple colors and simple functions. The price is right and it meets my expectations for the price. I also love that the settings are easy to push and understand but it could be a bit bigger. It is big enough to hold one full plate but I would want it to hold a few sides such as a small cup or bowl.

Nice and big on the inside, more than enough room for what I want to cook. It's not too heavy, can be moved around if need be. It is pretty straightforward to me as far as how to use it. Has many preset features and cook levels that make it a breeze to use. I used it to cook my Thanksgiving meal in and it worked great for me, and continues to as well. If it only could be a little bigger I guess, for cooking bigger types of dishes and meals. Could probably make it have more fine settings for ethnic types of food. A popcorn feature would be nice as well, but is not a must have. Would be nice to have a turntable in it as well, for cooking things like chicken and turkeys. But it's reliable, handy, useful, excellent.

This Magic Chef microwave was very simple to set up and use right out of the box. You just set up the time and a couple of other things and you can use it right away! I like the look of this microwave. It is sleek and modern and simple. Also, the button locations are great. The ease of use is really great, practical and useful! If anything, maybe add a few different settings and making it a bit larger. I would also try to include modern trending colors like pastels.

The size, weight, and cost were all within range for my intended use as a second floor convenient warming microwave when spending so much time there after an arduous climb. Made hot drinks essential on the floor where I actually spend most time. It was very easy to set up and no trouble to use, even though it has a different timing system than my main microwave, a KitchenAid. It is very good for its intended use and heats faster than the bigger microwave. However, the footprint is slighter larger than the base I have it on, causing problems with heat at rear, sliding and protrusion. I do not like how the turntable slips around nor that it nearly always leaves the handle in the rear, so I have to stoop down and turn carefully to retrieve my now very hot beverage.

It has the easy setting on it for different items, like potatoes, reheating defrosting and cooking items. It also has a good size plate that rotates and evenly cooks. It's somewhat easy to set up. Load, set the timing and close door and push start. It's very easy to load it and unload it. Setting is also very easy. But it beeps too much at the end of the settings and because it's a large size microwave sometimes it cooks or reheats up too fast and I end up burning whatever I am trying to reheat or cook. So I really need to watch what I put in there because I can end up burning it and throwing it away.

The Magic Chef microwave was very simple to use and set up. Just plug in and go. It was very intuitive cooking with very smart design. It uses a lot less space but is powerful enough to cook an entire meal if I need it to. I like the multiple settings, how evenly it cooks the food, how I can cook large dishes inside of it. The cooking area is large and the controls are smart. It works wonderfully as is - one of the best microwaves I have used.

I like the color they come in and the heating options they have. I like the size and the space for you to heat up your food and the price is pretty low too. Setting it up is easy as pie, you plug it up and set your world clock to the time and really that's how you start warming up your food. It really meets my expectations that I thought it would. Also, it has very nice watts. The light is bright and it gets your food warm the way you want it. But they can make it bigger than what it is.

Stop using Magic Chef Microwave model MCM995KB now. Risk of fire. Placed two pieces of bread with a paper towel using the 30second button. Detected an electrical burning smell and unit did not auto shut off. Opened door to shut off, filled house with black smoke. House is retaining smell, hopefully it will air out and not stay in fabrics. A rust orange oil inside the unit and outside on right rear vent. See pics.

I have no trouble with Magic Chef Microwave MCD1110ST1 operating. Only had it 4 days. But cannot read the control panel (have had 5 others check if they could and they could not also). You have to get up within 2-3 inches to see it. Reflection and light lettering - basically told can't suggest anything, go exchange it. Anyone else have this useless microwave, why designed that way.

The microwave has 1200 watts of power to cook a lot of items very efficiently. And it also offers many different functions/features. It is a good product. The price that I paid for the microwave I feel was a very good value. I have used it for at least a year, and it still works very good. I like that the product has a lot of convenient features on the panel. Also, the size of this microwave was small enough on the outside to fit within my limited cupboard space, but still provided plenty of room on the inside. More so, the appearance of the product met my expectations completely. The only difference is that it was white in color, and I would have preferred something more like a silver.

The microwave works well. It even reminds you if you've left something in it. The light inside works and the beep isn't too annoying. This microwave was a good value. I bought it on sale. I haven't had any issues with it at all and would recommend Magic Chef to anyone who needs a microwave. This microwave is black. It's easy to clean and there is plenty of room inside. It also matches the rest of the appliances in my kitchen. I'm glad I bought this microwave. However, this microwave does take up a lot of counter space. The door swings out pretty far. This is my only complaint with this microwave.

The microwave that I purchased was exactly what I had hoped for. It works efficient and heat is distributed evenly throughout the food. My microwave works well. Always consistent cooking and temperatures. Lasted for over 20 years, not many things will last that long. Considering that it only cost a little over one hundred dollars, I figure for lasting over 20 years, that is a great value. I used it daily, many, many, many times. Definitely big enough to cook anything you would want to cook in a microwave. However, I do not normally cook many things in a microwave, as I think they are mostly for warming up things or melting butter or chocolate. The microwave looks nice, would fit into any kitchen, office, dorm room or break room decor. Unobtrusive and easy to fit on any table, countertop or another surface.

It worked well and did its job. Good brand. Enjoyed it. I loved it for ten year then we had a power surge and it went out. It was an amazing appliance working every time day in and out. Easy to clean, easy to function, and great for all ages to run from great grandpa to small grandchildren. The size was large enough for all the big dishes for a large family but a little large as the children grew up and we downsized. We kept it because it was a great appliance. It was white. Economical to run, fun to use, and worth the price I paid for it.

This microwave oven worked well in my small kitchen and fit nicely on my apartment counter. It was powerful for its size and it heated food well, quickly and evenly. Though nondescript, the appliance was not ugly. It kept its shine, was easy to keep clean and stayed new looking for a long time. The appliance lasted a long time, which made it a good value. I was very happy with my purchase.

Heats fast, quiet as a microwave can be and easy to clean. It is a lot smaller in size and shorter compared to my old one that weighs a ton. This one is light enough that sometimes cleaning it out the whole things moves which is a downside but it is okay. It's very pretty and sleek. Red and black. Red has a little thin line to a thicker line across the front, the glass is tinted black and the inside has the usually clear glass and white wall. The popcorn button is a little long log for popcorn but not that hard to shut off. It was well worth the money, would buy another if I need it and would give as a gift if anyone needed one. Also recommended it to a relative and they bought it and seem to like it so far, but it has only been a week.

Our Magic Chef Microwave has one touch controls with ease of operation and cleaning. Its browning unit makes the food look and feel like it was cooked in the oven, and its turntable gives easy and even cooking. It was a great value and the price could not be beaten. I would have been happy if I had paid up to $100.00, since the money saved by not having to use my oven is incomparable. It is small enough to fit on an elevated shelf but big enough to hold a large dinner plate and still have space for the turntable to fully rotate the plate without hitting the sides of the microwave. It has black background with highlighted number keypad and instruction keys. It also has large open button which is a one touch easy opener. It's brightly lighten and item can be seen through a see thru panel in the door.

This microwave is high performance and very good looking, also glad was able to choose a nice color - a black and silver model. It's easy to wipe clean and like the shine when the unit is sitting in my kitchen all clean and sleek looking. It is also a medium sized unit with good height and width and have never encountered an instance where I could not fit what I wanted to cook or heat up in the oven. This microwave also has high wattage and is good at heating food quickly and evenly. I am able to reheat a dinner plate from the refrigerator in less than 3 minutes and it is always hot to my liking. This is a quality microwave that I would be happy to recommend to friends.

It had nice features like defrost, reheat, and popcorn buttons. I liked that it was easy to use, very simple to operate without any instructions and not hard to set the timer or clock. It was not very expensive and served its purpose well. No defects or problems with its functioning ability. So it was a good value and dependable. It is a good size and fits all cups, plates and bowls that I wanted to use in it. I can fit big bowls inside for popping popcorn and also fit my tall tea mugs. And I like that my large plates don't touch the sides when placed inside. I also like the colors and the nice sized buttons that are easy to read and that the microwave doesn't look massive and bulky on my kitchen counter.

Magic Chef Microwave does the job as I thought it would. If something does not come out right it is usually my or my wife's fault for not entering the correct times but the food always tastes right when you eat. We use it for almost every meal and when we want a quick snack. Also, it is great at thawing frozen meats as we keep plenty in the big freezer out in the garage. We have 2 microwaves and this one is the larger and heats foods for meals including frozen vegetables which we have for almost every dinner. Our kitchen is white and it fits in perfectly with the color scheme that my wife likes and it is much better than the one that came when we bought our home.

The microwave is durable, and easy to use and to follow instruction. It has different modes of cooking and has a turntable which cooks the food efficiently and evenly and easy to clean up. The size was perfect and efficient with roominess to cook large bowls and plates. The appearance was excellent and looks beautiful to sit on my countertop underneath my cabinets. It is stainless steel and has a classy look and matches all my other appliances. I checked out several stainless steel microwaves, and this was definitely the best value for the money. The black buttons you punch in for different cooking options is very attractive as well.

This microwave is quiet and has a lot of features that come in handy such as a button for potatoes, frozen items, thaw and cooking temperatures. It is highly durable, easy to clean and the brushed silver front matches with most kitchens. Many times the silver front cost much more than the basic black or white colored microwave. This Magic Chef was comparable to the prices of many microwaves of smaller size. Their size can fit a large casserole dish inside. It fits neatly on a shelf on a baker's rack but could also be placed on a small apartment size counter top without being in the way or taking up too much room. The brushed silver finish and black control panel matches almost all decors and one of the reasons I purchased this model. I feel this model is stylish, modern and perfect for all tastes and decors.

We paid under $100, so it came to less than $3 a year for the 36 years we had it and that is absolute value. It never needed to be repaired and for our simple needs, it was perfect. We were a family of four, until the kids grew up, and then just my wife and I for the last 20 years. We never made a turkey in it (can you?), but other than that, it always worked for what we needed. Until one day it just died (sob). We replaced it with another brand and are not satisfied with it.

Fair price for a fairly generic product. It has held up for several years, and is easy to clean and reliable. I expect to own it for several more years.

Magic chef is a good product. Very efficient, easy to clean, nice features, and energy star qualified. It's also very easy to mount under cabinet and has nice colors, trim, and pleasing finishes to choose from. It blends in nicely with our lichen decor. IT's small enough to compliment kitchen, large enough for all the needs of a family of four. Easy to use, and good value for the price. Easy to upkeep, no troubles or device issues. Door takes a great deal of abuse with no issues. Would recommend. Have done so severally times to friends and family

The Magic Chef microwave works well and cooked all things perfectly. It's easy to use and keep clean, and it's large enough to cook whole chicken. Cooking time was also fast. It comes in different watts, and the size and wattage for microwave was well worth the price. Also, its size fits the space well. Compact but works like a full size. Very durable and lightweight, not bulky. It also comes in different colors and warranty. It looks great on the counter, not an eye sore and matches other appliances in the kitchen. Easy to read panel with large buttons and has settings for different foods. Can also find replacement parts easily.

The Magic Chef microwave always works and never failed. Had it for many years without a problem and everything still works and no parts have broken. It fits perfectly above the stove yet it is big enough to cook large portions of food. There are also countertop microwave ovens but we have little counter space so this one works best. We purchased the microwave at a discount store and it's cheaper than anywhere else we looked. We purchased a white microwave since our other appliances are also white. It has not yellowed in any way and the inside also is still looking good. The digital panel is still in good shape as well.

The cooking instruction panel is easy to operate and has a number of useful ways to cook, reheat, warm etc. The price was very reasonable for a utilitarian over-the-range microwave. Very low price for a good, useful over-the-range microwave that does all the basic cooking, reheating, etc. functions that I need it to do. Mine is an over-the-range one with a turntable and is large enough. I don't recall other sizes that are available. It does what I need it to do, but has a very noisy fan. A less noisy fan would be desirable.

I love my Magic Chef microwave. I just loved the look from the minute I saw it. It is stainless steel and black. It not only looked great but it worked wonderfully. It was also nice looking too. It was medium size and perfect for the countertop. I loved the way it defrosted frozen meat. Unlike old one that cooked partly while defrosting, the Magic Chef did just right. The functions were readable and easy to see. Heating things up was a breeze, always was done evenly and all the one button functions were spot on too. Also, most cups fit at least for me. Always had problem with that in my old one, it never fit my to go coffee cups. Compared to my old one, it was the best. I don't recall how much I paid but the Magic Chef name in my opinion was great no matter what product but the microwave was well worth its cost.

The product is excellent. It is cool to use for in terms of making and baking food. The appearance of the product is excellent. Everything I see at the product looks amazing. The only thing I might not like is the color, which is gray. I would prefer black or white, but gray is okay for me. The value is great. It is something I would like to have for long periods of time. The size is great too. It is not as small as many would think when they see the product online and think it is going to be small than the picture being shown, but it is not. I would recommend Magic Chef to others, including my family and friends. It is something I would like to give to someone as a present.

The Magic Chef microwave heats up really fast. I have the largest they have and the highest wattage. I like ours cause it is black and the inside is white but easy to take care of. It is easy to keep clean just wipe it out every use. It cooks like it says and it has a very good platter in the microwave. It is very good microwave and I know it cost more than others but the more you pay the better it is.
