Best Customer Service - They will see to any issues that arise naturally during a build and make sure you are 100% satisfied. Not as much can be said from friends who had other builders. KB Home stands by their product and quality. Impressive.

From selecting the site and floor plan to the final walk through, the KB Homes staff was professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The quality of the home is excellent, we saw the materials used to build the home from the ground up and were impressed with the craftsmanship and the overall fit and finish of the final product. We heard some negative things about KB that really worried us, but our experience and our beautiful new home clearly demonstrate that KB is a name that we can trust with the biggest financial decision of our lives.

This was our first time building a home. People we told warned us that we would never want to build again, or that it would be a nightmare process. However, at the end of the process we have both been more than satisfied with the experience. We got what we wanted and it was far from the nightmare friends warned us about. The KB staff was helpful and our new home is wonderful!

Our experience was great. KB Homes worked with us on making changes and trying to get everything just right. We are extremely happy with our home. Kristen in the design center was extremely patient with us and so nice, and we couldnt have asked for anyone better than Johnny! He went above and beyond what we were expecting. Mark, the warranty guy, is also wonderful and so helpful. The only negative thing we have to say is that the caulking could be better. It seems that a cheap product was used because it is already separating everywhere in the house.

KB Homes was great! - Almost everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable. Had a bit of trouble with the closing and person at closing. Due to Harvey my closing date, even though on their books, apparently was NOT the closing date. They need to figure this out much better and communicate. They told both agent and construction manager that I was closing on a certain date but when I called to confirm (they hadn't told me) she said I wasn't closing on that date. It was a horrible mess.

The price range is what led us to buy a KB Home but you get what you paid for. They are the Ross of home builders. The simple things you would think comes with the home (i.e. porch light, cable/phone plugs) are all upgrades which adds up. The quality of the final product is subpar. We moved into a brand new home with the air conditioner and dishwasher broken! We couldn't move in at our final walkthrough because there were so many issues with the home we used all of the blue tape to mark everything off. But as I said, you get what you paid for. In the end, I would not do it again and pay a little more for better quality. They do have good customer service but the quality of the product needs some work.

Customer service was exceptional. The location was perfect. Even though We had a great experience and love the single storey homes but there were only a few lots left with very little yard. That was the only reason we didn’t pursue one of the models.

The Stearns Lending (preferred lender of KB Home) was the worst I have ever dealt with, lack of communication, when the manager got involved (after I got mad enough to finally have the processor get me the number) she knew about as much as I did about where my loan was in process. "She wasn’t allowed in her employees files” and in the end they couldn’t tell me why my monthly payment was a $150.00 more a month.

My house is being built and is approaching completion. It seems that KB Home didn't study the home plan before building. I wanted to extend the driveway in front of the garage for 3 feet. They did it then they said the city of Austin didn't approve it, so there's an interstice between the driveway and the extended part. I just wonder why they didn't ask for city approval before doing it? Since then, I never feel safe when it comes to their construction. I went to the house every other day to check if there's anything wrong. Sadly, more problems came. They forgot to build the arch in front of the den, I asked them and they are now fixing it. They also made TWO walk-in closets in a small bedroom while there's no closet in the master bedroom. And now they forgot to run electrical wire on the ceiling for 4 dimmable lights although I did upgrade it in the contract.

We were apprehensive at first to the thought of having a home built due to the horror stories we've heard from friends who had homes built. We watched KB build homes before ours and was impressed with the quality, layout and options. The home we had built is more than we imagined and we are so glad we did this. The KB Staff was professional, skilled and they just delivered and made this a great experience! If I have a home built again, I would do it again with them.

My husband and I were in the process of selling our KB Home in June of 2017, we had purchased in San Antonio in 2014. There were a few minor repairs that needed to be addressed. Susanne ** was amazing, she followed through and had everything taken care of in a quick timely matter. I want to thank KB Home and Susanne.

Sales staff was outstanding that was one of the main reasons for me buying with KB. They took time with me from beginning to end to make sure my home buying process was easy and satisfying as possible.

Overall the process was great, there were weather delays but construction stayed true. Right after closing hurricane Irma came through and I am pleased to say my home is "ROCK" solid! I love my home, will be happy here many years!

Purchasing a new home can be a daunting experience. However, I found the sales person (Pablo), the construction supervisor (Anthony), the customer service representative (Jeff) to be very competent and knowledgeable individuals, who did their best to make sure all my questions were answered, and my concerns put to rest. I also have to commend Jay at FBC mortgage for going above and beyond to ensure that my mortgage experience was as smooth as possible. Now I am ready to purchase my next KB home. :)

Good price, but poor quality construction home. Overall, my expectation with KB Home fell apart after having to experience quality concerns with water flooding associated with plumbing issue, uneven tiles flooring, water leak through concrete wall and muddy landscape around the house.

The staff at KB Home has made my home buying experience a very pleasurable one. They made sure that I understood every phase of the construction and was able to see the home being constructed as the months progressed, from beginning to end. The team has been outstanding and exceeds expectations.

Where do I start, well let's start with home design studio. They show a bunch of products that are told to be installed in your house to find that was to not be true. Like the fact they use the cheapest and lowest end products available. Just to give a quick background, I have been in construction since I was 15. I had to stop building on my house due to the poor craftsmanship and lack of quality. Spoke to the Regional boss and she laughed at me over the phone (complete disrespect). Had to replace most of the items in the house due to plugs catching on fire, cheap garage door opener, breakers undersized and too many outlets on one circuit (14) and lights on one circuit.

We had a wonderful experience working with KB Home. It was our first time buying a new house, there was a lot of decision to make and the KB team made the process go smoothly. The construction staff finished the day they scheduled. We would definitely recommend KB Home to family and friends. We are very happy with our new home. Thank you KB team for making my dream coming true!

If I am to judge KB based on my experience with their sales and construction staff, then I had the most seamless and amazing experience throughout the entire process. I have never been more satisfied, I am still finding it hard to believe that everything went so smoothly.

I absolutely loved my experience with KB Homes. Everyone that I came in contact with did a great job with communication and being so helpful. Steve was the best, but also when was off work Susana was amazing help too. They both would help me through my loan process by allowing me to print out or fax information to the lender. Anytime I needed anything or just to vent they were there with solutions to help resolve the problem. Because of them I will recommend and purchase again through KB.

I was met by Ahmed to view the 2003 Mirabella model. He was very courteous and informative. We felt comfortable with the information provided. He had a friendly and professional demeanor and made it fun. We were able to see lots around the area as well. We look forward to possibly doing business in the near future.

I really like my house, which is why it is unfortunate that I was lied to when they sold me my lot as an "end lot", and now are building 3 houses right next to mine. The dishonest sales practice is disappointing, and I feel I was misled. I would have built someplace else if they had just been honest with me. I am happy with my house, though.

Be careful with this place. They will nickel and dime you during the process and heaven forbid you see something that needs fixing or replacing after closing because you are dead in the water at that point. Good luck.

The experience with KB Homes was incredible. The staff was always available and answered all of my questions. Communication was something serious for them. They always keep me up to date on each step of the process.

KB does not just construct a house for you. It is the total sales and service experience that is worth building a new home. The staff make you feel as comfortable as possible and we have really been blessed with such customer service for the first time in 35 years.

The process with KB Homes as a whole was great as a first-time homeowner. Everyone I interacted with was respectful of that, and at no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. This is a review to share my disgust and disappointment with KB Home. I was sold my million dollar home on false pretenses by a KB representative regarding the community. I was looking to buy a nice home, particularly within a nice community. The idea of a new build with a new community sounded appealing, but it has been a nightmare so far. I assumed KB Home would strive to keep the neighborhood aesthetically appealing to help aid the value of our homes, but they clearly don't care as long as their homes are selling. For the past year and a half, 2 commercial vehicles (Budget Blinds) have been parked right at the entrance of our million dollar home community. The homeowner that lives at the entrance owns them.

Being a potential home owner/buyer I would expect professionalism to be shown across all aspects of the process. When visiting the sea cliff building site and Julie being very courteous and helpful I expected that from the people running the site. I decided NOT to purchase a home from KB due to the way I saw workers being treated. Yes that's correct. When purchasing a home I truly believe quality comes from people being on a job and actually enjoying and taking pride in their work. I witnessed the superintendent named Rory (don't know last name) being rude and condescending to the men who were doing the actual work.

Our overall experience with KB Home was satisfactory. After looking at the models on February 12, my husband and I signed a purchase agreement for a Reggie model at Olive Lane on February 14. It didn't take us long to decide since we have been looking for homes all over Fresno and Clovis for that size and price range, but every time we came across a model we loved with another builder, we would learn that they had little to no backyard. KB Home offer great lot sizes with ample backyard space. The quality of our home is pretty good (not excellent), considering the construction team took 3.5 months to build from the ground up. There were just minor details with paint and corners that could have been handled better, not deal breakers though and they were easy fixes.

I was happy with the community, however the contract/purchase phase sucked. I signed my contract and informed the seller of the one thing I had left pending. They didn't even allow me to complete my financing period, wanted to skip straight to closing 2 wks after I signed. And after sending my lender the ratified contract. Kicking me off the contact yet they took my earnest money when I signed the contract. Total BS!

The most important thing is how comfortable we felt during the process. This is our second house, but the first one we've built. We were scared out of our minds having to make so many decisions and worrying about their long term ramifications. Yes I want knobs on the cabinets, but does that take away my kitchen sink in the guest bathroom? Should I extend the patio or put in wiring for a speaker system? So many decisions truly do affect your everyday life and it can be an exciting process or extremely stressful. KB did a great job in making it an enjoyable, exciting process.

I am in my 4th year of problems with KB Homes. Nearly every system in my home (Austin, TX) has had some problem. Thankfully, I haven't had the foundation problems or serious water intrusion problems that were reported in the news. I have never had to move out, just lots of visits to fix things, and you have to beg to get them to do warranty claims. Another thing... The onslaught of positive reviews that appear here starting in late 2016 for KB Home, there is no possible way that they are real. Something is going on. I live in a very small KB Home neighborhood, and I have talked to 20 of 25 neighbors about this, and not one ever said they were satisfied. KB Home is a profoundly and deeply troubled company. Just google them and you can find a trove of Federal consumer rights actions taken against them.

Our experience with the sales and service department were outstanding. Although we were not completely satisfied with the lending department, we did not let that deter us from liking the overall KB Home family and name.

Overall the experience of buying this brand new home was excellent. The sales staff and construction staff did a fantastic job! Communication was key and the staff was on it. Weekly updates and very easy to get a hold of. We enjoyed the experience so much. We are the second couple in our family to move to this neighborhood and also got our grandparents to do the same!

KB provides a lot of "house" for not too many "Benjamins"! Our KB Homebuying experience was great. It was journey that lasted 4 months. Our Construction Manager was just AWESOME. He was so actively involved with the home building process and kept in touch with us not once, not only twice but numerous times per week. He kept us fully a part of the process and was never too busy to reply with an answer to our questions. Any concerns or issues we had he took care of quickly and professionally.

Overall our home buying experience with KB Home was great, everyone was very helpful, kept us informed, and stuck to their time frames of when things would be completed. It went a lot smoother than we thought. We would definitely recommend KB Homes to everyone we know.

We've had nothing but a fabulous experience with KB Home - from the girls in the sales office to the Superintendents in charge of our build. Everyone has been incredibly courteous, helpful, and prompt when we needed something fixed. The customer service team was on hand the day we moved in and made sure everything was fixed promptly (minor paint touch ups, drywall work). We highly recommend them as a builder - we were updated weekly and had the superintendent's phone number in case we had any questions.

We love our new KB Home. Our sales representative, customer service representative, and construction manager were always very helpful and answered all of our questions in a timely manner! They continue to check on us even after we have moved into our house to see if we need anything.

The buying experience as a first-time home buyer was a learning experience. KB Home staff made it an easy learning topic with their knowledge and helpfulness. Construction staff worked to finish on time and they succeeded. Moving in was a breeze.

I would do it again - I would have been complete satisfied if I've had the opportunity to choose a different plan, elevation and location of the house, lot 83 was the only one available on the day we walked into the sales office with the plan and elevation already decided for us. We felt like we had no choice but to commit to it due to the prices were going up the following week.

I was totally impressed with the variety of floor plans. There are so many choices to match everyone's taste. Most people should be able to come up with a floor plan and fixtures to satisfy their family. The representatives in the sales office were also very accommodating and helpful in discussing different choices.

KB Homes has great floor plans in good locations. All the staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. They help in the selection process according to budget and choice preferred by the customers. The choice of upgrades is very satisfactory. The completion of home was on time. Overall, the entire process of selection and construction is very appealing.

We met Adrian that same day and he was incredibly helpful and his positive attitude was incredibly refreshing, all the way to Kullen, who performed the walk-throughs and fixed the items on the punch list accordingly.

Just be upfront about layout home and lot before gating Contacts. Sighs. If I was told My home in this location I will refuse and ask For corners lot or hold till find lot I am looking. Since I was cash buyers, I wish I was physically was walk and show lot and layout.

During this home buying experience I was extremely satisfied with the service that Pablo, Sara, David and Ed provide, they really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and informed along this process.

We didn't purchase the home from the initial phase of building up but we are so happy that we met David ** and he was able to find a home for us that was ready to go in the timeframe that we needed it. This was my very first home buying experience. I had no knowledge of anything. Purchased a new home from KB. Moved in Oct 2015. During and after construction I have had continuing problems with the quality of construction of my KB homes. Everything from Windows/Appliances/Roof, you name it. It took almost a year to get most of the items corrected. I paid quite a bit extra for an "upgraded" front door. After a little over a year I noticed several cracks in the door and daylight coming through (middle of the door). I complained - was informed it was my fault due to "negligence" (not sure what that means). I think most people would expect a new door to last for years.

OK. I'd give the home quality a 7.8 on a scale of 1 to 10. Upgrades too expensive. They don't respond to issues with the new home. Been in the home almost 2 weeks. Garbage disposal never worked, can't switch utilities into my name until the builder turns in the inspection paperwork. Repeated emails and no one responds to my complaints.

I would like to commend the professionalism of M. David ** for taking his time to help us choose the right KB Home for us. As first time buyers, we are offered homes that is within our budget and is at great location, especially the schools nearby.

We had some concerns about buying a KB Home (because of issues we'd seen on the news), but our experience seems to show what we believed - that KB was going above and beyond to repair their reputation, and provided an excellent home and experience.

Poor design in great room, uninformed staff/internal KB Home communication issues, poor quality of materials/defective materials utilized for upgrades selected. Also, builder staff is not flexible to customer needs and not all staff seem customer service oriented or proactive.

Overall experience was great from sales office to design center through construction. The value of the home is very competitive to what's being sold. Resale and you get to help create your dream home. Can't beat it!

KB Home has a structure for buying and building homes that gives you options at the same time that directs you, what is nice for buyers like us, having their first building experience. Despite the need to follow the options, we still feel the house has our style. And for this, a good support, made by professionals with knowledge and willing to help was essential.

My KB experience was fairly painless and easy. It's a newly built home so of course there will be some issues but the staff is very knowledgeable and responsive and will go above and beyond to ensure you are completely satisfied with your home.

****DO NOT BUY A KB HOME! **** Nine months ago, my husband and I purchased a brand new KB Home in Santa Clarita. To achieve our dream and give our children the family home we always wanted ourselves, we saved all that we could, took out from our 401K and LITERALLY invested everything we had into purchasing this KB Home. But it's been nothing but a nightmare. We have written multiple emails to customer service, division president and even the CEO of KB. And they simply reply back that it's within industry standards, and just evading our requests. Our home was built with no care. As we moved to Santa Clarita from Corona, which is a 3 hr drive one way, we were not lucky enough to see our home being built. We had trusted KB in building our home correctly and safely.

My home was built in 2016 and I have had problems after problems, light fixtures not put in correctly, bad painting inside and out, problems with the tile throughout the downstairs floor. The sprinkler system wasn't working and that killed the grass because they took so long to come out and fix it and no cabinets over refrigerator it's a upgrade. No light covers on light bulbs in bathroom that's an upgrade.

I bought a KB home. A few years later I decided to paint the inside. I found that the electrical outlets were held in place by the face plate screw ONLY! The outlet was not anchored or attached to anything, just hanging loose. Also, my home is the same size as the other homes next to me and yet the other houses have 4 heat vents on the roof and my house only has one! I got an estimate from a roofer and it will cost me from $800 to $1,000 to have the other 3 vents put in. Another point, I had a lot of problems with the airflow from the air conditioner. I had the flow tested and turns out I had 5, yes that's right 5 feet of holes in my air conditioning VENTS. I was told that IF actual metal vents were used that it would NOT BE POSSIBLE to have that much holes in the vents. This is insane.

Regardless of what happened, we love our KB Home. Thank you. Maybe because it is our first time buying a house, our experience came out to be like this. We didn't always have questions when we meet up with the sale staff and when we do, he didn't always have the answer, there was many times he had to get back to us. When we met with the construction staff, we learned a lot about the house and regret a lot about certain upgrades because the sale staff didn't tell us about certain things. Seems like he was more about making a sale.

Incredible house for my family. We love the design and the upgrades, the value of the house for what we paid was superior and we are very pleased to do business with KB. Valuable, timely, knowledgeable.

KB Home made it fun, interactive, and exciting to build a home. Overall very happy with everything KB Home had to offer in Gramercy Farms. It was an exciting and pleasant experience from contract to closing.

Other than the overpriced upgrades the overall build/price of the home was pretty spot on. The construction Manager Kullen made the experience so much better with his communication and attention to detail in our build.

We purchased our home from KB Homes 9/15. The workmanship is very poor. We have had issues with our tile throughout the house. All the homes in the neighborhood come with rain gutters, except our home. KB claims due to elevation. Yet they have installed them for free on the same model we have. The response we received when we sent corporate a letter was that it was referred to regional KB Home. Everything about the manner in which this matter was treated was very poorly. Do not buy from KB, do your homework!! That are more reputable builders.

Our third party inspector was astonished by the quality of the construction and lack of issues that could be found with the home during his two walk-throughs. We have heard that other builders won't even allow third party inspectors onto their construction sites, so this speaks volumes about the quality that KB Home provides.

We did our homework online prior to choosing a builder for our home. Then, we visited Falcon Landing while on our honeymoon and were impressed with the location, lots, and sales staff. From start to finish, KB Home delivered what they said they would. The sales staff and construction staff kept my husband and me up-to-date with weekly phone calls and emails, along with pictures, since we did not live locally while house was being built. Our real estate agent had not dealt with KB in the past. He was definitely impressed at each stage and with the finished product. We highly recommend KB Home.

Before you even consider buying from KB Home I would highly suggest you take a drive to Pinery West in Parker CO and see for yourself how pathetic these homes were built. Knock on any door and ask questions. What you see at the model home is NOTHING compared to what you actually receive. The customer service is horrible and the super attendants are unprofessional and incompetent. Phone calls are never returned and they threaten to sue you if you don't close on your home which is a complete wreck and only 75% complete. Please do your homework and google KB Home lawsuits before you purchase!

At first, I couldn't fathom that we could afford to have a brand new house built from the ground up but KB Home has a home for any price point. Prior to selecting KB homes, we visited and searched for the perfect home. We found houses that were way off base and some that were close. Were they perfect? No. We had a list of items that we wanted in our house and with each home we saw, we had to remove key items from the list. Finally we came to the option to build and when that occurred, the puzzle pieces came together and we have what we consider our dream home. Customized to our needs, we are still in awe that it is ours and we are living in it. Customization with great service is the key to KB success.

I may not buy KB in the future. The sales and lending team were not communicative with us in how the process was going along. We had to call and follow up with them. The Construction Supervisor was the best part of our experience.

We purchased our home in May 2016 and in December we decided to get screening in backyard so we put in request for HOA permit and also requested them to trim the tree that covers 80 percent of our backyard. The tree is on the builders property. Fast forward February 2017 they sent their landscaping people three times to confirm how much need to be trimmed and we also sent them pictures per their request. They approved and said it will be taken care of. Finally they arrived one day to trim the tree when we were at work. They removed only the dead tree and did not trim the branches over our property. When I contacted them they told that they had miscommunication on their end. How can you have miscommunication after 3 visits and photos.

We are so happy with all our space, the 2898 model has a dream kitchen and an open concept for the living space.

The concrete in my basement utility room needs to be redone, it is inadequate, nonfunctional and unacceptable to me. My water softener leaked this weekend and due to the shoddy, unprofessional finishing of the concrete in that room, the water was shunted off into the wall which flooded my basement. I am now waiting on the restoration people to come and deal with the matter professionally. None of the leaked water drained into the drain in the center of the room, literally not one drop made it to the drain.

Our overall experience with KB Home is highly unsatisfactory, frustrating, and unpleasant. To relocate our home & businesses is in itself a challenging, hectic and stressful process. Purchasing a home should be a happy & worry-free time but this is not the case with KB Home. KB Home did not made us feel welcome!

My fiancee and I bought closed on a KB Home in May 2016. A hose in the kitchen that KB supplied and installed busted 5 months later!!! It flooded the entire house, except for one bedroom and one bathroom! The next day, KB had a few people including their preferred plumber come out to take a look at the damage, and they all stated the same thing... "Yeah, we put this here. It was obviously installed by us. It will be covered under warranty. No worries."

Sales was pretty decent, would not say 5 star decent as if I didn't directly follow up I almost never got a call back. Construction team never called once and there were multiple construction delays. Was not given closing costs until day of, after closing being moved 3 times, twice I was told on the same day it was scheduled.

While KB builds a good home, if anything goes wrong, they will not follow up. For many months we have been trying to get 28 cracked, chipped tiles repaired. We have had dates set for repair, no show, repeated phone calls to the project manager (he's a joke) won't take any calls from us. Now there's a joke. And yesterday when talking to corporate, Brittany said WE need to go to Orlando to the only place that still has tiles. We have to pay for them, no reimburse them and then KB will fix all 28 tiles. Maybe. I would not ever recommend KB Homes to anyone EVER!

I am a second KB Home buyer. I was satisfied with my first purchase and decided to upgrade and get a larger house. I have had this house for 8 years and I am 100% dissatisfied. I started reporting problems the first year while the house was under warranty. The problems continued. I have reported roof leaks that KB did do some repairs on year 3 because they saw some issues with the quality. I reported more leaks and KB did send someone to repair but did repair the inside drywall problems. I have French doors that have been leaking for years into my house and KB will do nothing because it's past the warranty. I have had several contractors tell me that the outside should have an overhang to block rain or snow. KB sent out someone to fix the several leak in my roof. I asked them to look at the French doors and they told me that even if I replace the French doors the problem will happen again within a couple of years.

My husband and I bought our home in 2010. Our street was one of the last built in our neighborhood and construction wrapped up in 2011. Shortly after, KB Homes left the state of South Carolina, which made it extremely difficult to contact anyone. We had to jump through hoops to get our 1 year walkthrough completed and have had multiple issues. Our garage door was not installed properly (which seems to be a consensus throughout the neighborhood) and does not work. The linoleum in our kitchen is peeling up and every time I vacuum, a ton of staples come out of our carpet. All of this is frustrating, but the biggest issue involves our neighborhood streets. When KB left the state, they did not properly turn the streets over to the Town. And we have spent over 2 years trying to get the potholes and sinkholes in our roads fixed. Because the roads were still privately owned, the Town could not repair the damage.
