First time using HomeAdvisor (Refrig repair). Very happy, got a call from the repair tech within 10 minutes to set an appt. The repair tech did a great job at a fair price. I will call him again if the need arises. Would recommend him to anyone who need appliance repairs.

I've used this site twice now and have not been disappointed. It is great for finding local trustworthy professionals to meet my home needs. All I have to do is post what I am looking for and where and the professionals come to me.

Used on 2 different jobs. 2nd job was for church I attend. Had no issues with either company. Both acted in a professional manner. Payment was asked for only after job was completed. Work was done in a timely manner and individuals contacted me if arrival times would be late.

4 companies were matched to our needs. My biggest complaint was that we were immediately bombarded with phone calls from these companies to set up appointments. I felt under pressure. All I wanted was a list of companies that I could research then contact when it was convenient for me. Also, I found out that the companies pay to be on HomeAdvisor, so in some ways I was leary about whether or not the companies were honestly good. In a way, the companies were paying for customers, which I did not like. Despite the concerns, we did go with a HA company, and it turned out to be a good experience.

I have to start by saying this isn't my first search through H.A. & to this point I am uncertain the reason I searched again. It isn't them so much as I am not big on giving details over the internet. However this worked out fine and I may do it again.

Our driveway was sinking, cracking. Acqua Guard lifted, repaired, and stabilized it in two days. Price was right and it looks good too. The clean-up process couldn't be better. Replace wall mounted 52" TV with a 65" with new bracket and hook up to existing sound system. Great Job! Cleaned up all of the debris and left the house looking as it did when then walked in. They worked quickly and efficiently and I would definitely recommend them to anyone requiring work on a sound system, installing or replacing a TV or programming remotes or other devices that operate your equipment.

HomeAdvisor has been a big help in putting me in touch with professionals to hire for a number of projects. For most of my projects they have provided at least 3 professionals that I could contact. I like being able to read reviews by people who have used their service before. I have not been disappointed with anyone I have hired through HomeAdvisor.

I have been a pro, using HA for 3 years. In the past year I have gotten crazy leads (like teen kids checking to see if they can live in basement). The problem is that HA really wants my money and will not issue refunds for these crazy leads they sell me. I have spent $2000 for worthless contacts. When I contacted customer service their response is always, "We have your money, we kinda tried to verify what you said, but not very hard. Keeping your money." I don't mind crazy inquiries but I do mind paying for them. Very poor customer service and support. Sad that HA sells leads for $100 to 5 pros, when in fact it is not even a lead. Wish people would send me $500 to talk to kids.

Had no issues. Look for the project I needed. Signed up. Had a call from couple of contractors within like 20 mins. Had an individual from HomeAdvisor call me like a week later, asking me how my experience was and if I had the work done yet, which I told the individual not. At time was still getting estimates. Overall good experience.

Service scheduling is not good. A service appointment was scheduled at an unacceptable time when I had committed to nothing. Collins Appliance Repair called right away and through our conversation we agreed on an acceptable time and had a very acceptable service experience.

The last job hired was drain cleaning with Hankel's Drain Cleaning and this company is a jewel of a find. They have been added to my "A" list of pros that I will use in the future. I did not get many responses for adding a 4 season room in summer of 2016. I had one response and he didn't follow through after the first visit. I had to find my own contractor online. That company worked out fine. HomeAdvisor did not follow through as well as they did on my roof job 3 years ago.

My water heater was leaking in the laundry room. I called after 6 PM on Monday and they were at my house on Tuesday by 1 PM to replace it. The installers were courteous and finished in 1 hour and 15 minutes. And it was cheaper than 2 other previous quotes. I would highly recommend them.

5/17/17 I went to the HomeAdvisor site to write a actual review on Absolute Lath & Stucco. It was so detailed I almost used up all the characters allowed. In it I made remarks about the bond company (name wasn't mentioned). It was 11:20am. I went to submit the review and it said I needed to register or log in. Nowhere does it say that before you go to do the review. Then I got kicked off. I called 866-238-1240. I told the person what happened, she asked for my name, phone # and email address. She said I wasn't in their system. That you have to hire the contractor through HomeAdvisor (because they have a reward program). I asked her if I could get a copy of my review. She went and spoke with Super. I was told nothing was documented since I didn't an account. That it went to the service dept, but still nothing was saved.

Broken spring replaced as were worn bearings and cables. Springs adjusted properly for easy open and close. Repairman was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend this company and repair person. When scheduling service, I would suggest asking for Joe.

Home Advisor has a good platform. Unfortunately they have a lot of problems. Customer service is real bad. On may 5 I signed up. They charged me 349.00 dollars and over the weekend I got 2 calls. Both calls were not screened right and they were not ready for service. Home Advisor charged me 112.00 for both calls. So I decided to cancel service. I started on the following monday and it took me 4 days to get it canceled. And then they tell me there would be no refund because I had 72 hours to cancel. I feel something needs to be done about these types of companies because they don't care about what is right or fair. It's about them making money and stepping on the little guy.

I needed to some advice on a dying lawn. The company I chose seemed very informed and offered good advice. He was very timely and I feel his fee is reasonable. The results of his service will take a while before I see any improvement, but I'm hoping what he has told me will work for my lawn.

Upgrade Electrical Service: The Electrical Professional thoroughly evaluated and correctly recommended replacing a very old electrical panel. He worked safely and quickly. He thoroughly cleaned up his work and provided documentation of the job. He even agreed to coordinate a safety inspection and job certification.

I tried calling a few of the pros listed on Home Advisor. I was really looking for help with only a few days' notice. I would highly recommend Hide Tide Cleaning. They did an excellent job for my move out clean. And they were able to do it within my time frame. They even helped me with a few of my chores... Like bringing a very full laundry basket down a flight of stairs to my car!

I contacted NWFA and was sent Mike, the complete salesman. He was VERY knowledgeable and took his time with me. I decided to replace 4 windows in my small house. I was contacted about a week later to let me know that my order had been placed and my windows were being made. A couple of weeks after that I was contacted again for scheduling. The installers arrived on time on a pretty rainy morning. They left it up to me on whether or not they'd get started in between downpours. The guys started, getting soaked in the process but were very concerned about keeping my house dry. They finished up installing the windows and wrapping the inside, agreeing to come back the following day to finish the outside when lightning wasn't posing such a threat. Overall my experience has been positive, both in communications and with the sales, scheduling and installation departments. Oh and the value for the product I received was stellar!

Plumbing issues was repaired the next day. The company that came out provided great service and a good price. We will use HomeAdvisor again.

I've taken advantage of the HomeAdvisor service in the past and will not hesitate to seek their suggestions in the future.

Whenever I have a problem with one of my houses. Home Advisor is the first thing that comes to mind. I have been using them for quite some time and I have never been disappointed. Thank you Home Advisor for setting the bar!

I got qualified, bonded contractors that met their bid and completed the project (Rodent control) in a timely manner. Takes the challenge of looking for contractors and using Craig's list where things are dicey. My son uses HomeAdvisor to advance his business 1A Painting in Burlington, Wa and it worked for me here in San Diego.

Great website and true to its advertisement with no cost to view contractors and see reviews. They called within 10-15 mins and I selected a roofer very quickly. Was very surprised how quickly the contractors called but happy with the service. Will use this site again for future work.

Fence removed. Trees trimming. Great site to obtain vendor when unfamiliar with the area. Review helpful in getting a vendor. Gave multiple vendors for estimate. Vendors were prompt in replying to inquiries. Would definitely recommend this site to others and would definitely use again for other projects.

Very friendly service. Owner was professional. He came over to view the job. 1st time we were not home. He called and wanted to have us show him what we wanted cleaned up so he could give an accurate quote. I was Originally concerned about breaks. But they arrived around 11am so probably had lunch break? In the end the job was well done and the price was as quoted.

Not only did I have 3 zone valves replaced, but I also had to have a valve box detected because it had been buried for 10+ years and I had no idea where it was; it was buried when I moved in. Moises (Pure Blue Irrigation) was very polite and helpful and saved me so much money over another contractor that I had been referred to by a program through my water company. And he took less than 4 hours. He also tested & retested all my sprinkler heads and valves to make sure they were in good shape before he left. My yard has 6 zones and 3 valve boxes total.

I have had good luck with the people I have hired, but I would like to be able request names of pros w/o getting the appointment schedule. It is important to review folks and I feel a bit rushed by the process when what I really want is info.

I am very happy overall with HomeAdvisor. We have used HomeAdvisor for three projects. Two of the projects, Shed and air conditioning system were 5 star ratings. The driveway was 0.5 rating only because I could rate it any lower. It's sad when you think you are getting someone professional and they don't follow-through on their promise. It makes HomeAdvisor look bad.

HomeAdvisor was very helpful in helping me locate a good home inspector. I was able to contact several inspectors at the same time and get several different quotes. Each inspector had several helpful reviews to let me know what to expect. It saved me a lot of time and headaches.

The carpet cleaning company called me within hours of posting my job, came the next morning to do an estimate and were able to do the work right then, since I was available and the estimate seemed within reason. Carpets were done well though, not surprisingly, a couple of old stains did not come out.

Your system does not send out reviews for services that were done that were on the secondary listing. I completed 4 projects. Only one review was sent out. Your system is hard to negotiate. I have tried repeatedly to do so with calls or online. Without this I cannot receive my 50 dollar rebate.
