    Really smooth experience. We originally had another technician but they called off and guardian was super transparent about the entire process and timing of the installation. They were able to accommodate and get another technician out here same day. Great experience. Super easy.

    When I burnt our dinner and the fire alarms were activated, Guardian called to confirm that we were okay and I told them that dinner was useless. Ten minutes later they called back to confirm that I burnt dinner and they sent us a Domino's order to replace the dinner I ruined. Thank you Guardian for providing excellent customer service.

    Signed on originally with another company and Guardian took over and it was the worst thing ever. They put us in a five-year contract that we knew nothing about and now we moved out of state and we are being forced to still pay. Hate that they took over the company that we originally went with. Terrible customer service. No one knew how to pull up our info. Terrible company.

    When you chose to have your home protected by Vintage, services were formalized in a contract. It protects all parties, defining services to be provided, rates, terms and obligations. It also identifies conditions such as an early termination fee that may apply if cancelling prior to the end of the initial term.     Superior service. My technician was very professional and friendly. Diagnosed the problems quickly and replaced the doorbell camera and a battery in a motion detector. Terrific install on the doorbell. Nice and professional. Tested the entire system to check all the other sensors. Did a software update on the panel. Couldn’t be happier with Guardian and this service professional that came today.

    Guardian Technician was professional in every way; polite, knowledgeable, an excellent representative for the company. He replaced the old malfunctioning #2 alarm control pad. He also integrated the new pad with the master control pad so there is no reliance on the wifi signal. Result - better reliability. ejb

    Guardian Security came to our home and checked our security system and smoke alarms to confirm everything was in working order. They put fresh batteries in as well. We also had 2 carbon monoxide detectors installed. Great service by Chris!

    The tech came on time and was able to install almost everything. There was an item that was backordered so hopefully this same technician will return to install it. He had to troubleshoot the new doorbell but found the issue quickly. When he left all systems were working perfectly on my alarm system. I was very happy all went well.

    I formally express my serious concern regarding the ongoing issues with my security system over the past five months. I have been a long-time customer since the company operated under its previous name Bintage, when service quality was reliable and consistent. Unfortunately, following the transition to Guardian, I have experienced a significant decline in service standards. From October 2025 through February 2026, my security and Z-Wave system were essentially nonfunctional. Service team was aware that the root cause was poor Verizon signal coverage in my area. Despite this, I was first encouraged to upgrade to a Wi-Fi-based system at a cost of $1,400 per head unit, which I declined. I was then charged $500 to replace the radio unit—again with a Verizon module—which predictably failed to resolve the issue.

    Only after five separate complaints was an AT&T radio unit ordered and installed, which immediately resolved the problem. This confirms that the issue was not my equipment but the carrier selection. Had I not persisted, I would have been sold an unnecessary $5,000 system upgrade. Additionally, I was charged $500 in monitoring fees during a period when the system was effectively down and providing no security service.

    My experience with Guardian Protection is catastrophic. Their installation was terrible and was only complete after several visits. I was left with cables that hanging off the walls and they did not provide a solution, simply said that they installed a wireless sensor instead of wired and did not need the wires, and I was left with the task of cleaning it up, The command center in the basement is the same, there are wires hanging off the unit and serve no purpose... Terrible install. To make matters worse the system throws several false positives, and they don't seem to care about fixing it, only telling me that "you have to find the faulty sensor". Well... you'd assumed that was their problem to fix but apparently not. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM, RUN AWAY FROM THEM.
