    This microwave is a piece of garbage. It was a gift I received less than 2 years ago and has already failed. I've had (still have, luckily for me) a microwave that is 10+ years old and still runs like a champ. Based on other reviews I have received, in addition to mine, I would recommend NEVER PURCHASING A GALANZ MICROWAVE!!!

    Bought this microwave a little over a year ago from Walmart. I'm so disappointed. There is a hole inside the microwave and when the plate tries to turn the wheel gets stuck in the hole so it doesn't work. Also it's probably dangerous to even use it. This is upsetting because now I have to buy a new one when I was thinking the microwave would last more than just a year.

    We purchased a Galanz microwave/convection oven/air fryer unit from Walmart.com. About a year later the unit wouldn't work and shows error code Er30, shuts down, and beeps. We have only used the unit for Microwave heating to date. There is no light inside the unit during operation to see the food being cooked. Galanz doesn't show troubleshooting of error messages in the owners manual. The model we bought was GSWWA16SA10 Speedwave. The unit was a few dollars cheaper than Toshiba's comparable product.

    It is unknown if there is a Design Failure mode, or defective component that failed too fast, but my recommendation is to be wary of buying this unit. I think we paid just over $250 plus tax for this unit, and got less than expected life out of the unit. Our previous microwave units have lasted 15+ years. I'm not satisfied with Galanz and won't be buying another one. Buyer beware.

    I like the Galanz microwave.. I was impressed that it was with an air fryer and baking as well. After about 8 months she seems to be humming when I turn her on. Still trying to figure out what that is but I know when I brought her home she was very quiet..

    I love the look of my microwave but after only one year of use the led panel has malfunctioned. Customer service is a nightmare. They request receipts, pics of the numbers in the plug, the sticker in the back, the label with all their info in the back, then email back and say resend this info and this info. Just look up my warranty registration and be done with it.

    Galanz Retro microwave will start microwaving on its own when the door is ajar. Warranty department claims this not not meet "the eligibility criteria". Dangerous to use, poorly made, going in the trash where it belongs.

    I purchased this microwave less than a year ago. It started glitching about 2 months ago, and then all of a sudden went out. I don't have a receipt so I didn't try to bring it back to Walmart. I think it's very disappointing to make such appliances for that price ($110) and cannot get your money or another one back because of no receipt. I really did like the microwave with the different functions, but the quality is ridiculous. It is unfair to hard working people to be cheated out of their hard earned money. Everyone is already struggling with today's economy, we don't need help from Galanz Company.. If the consumers gave you all a chance by purchasing the microwave, you all should at least replace it and give us a chance to get our money's worth.

    A little senior friend purchased one from our Walmart. It's not two years old yet. Of course she didn't keep the receipt. I just get so upset about companies not really caring. I have a microwave that is 30 years old. No problem. No rust.

    The Galanz products are not worth the money although inexpensive our Air Fryer did not last 2-3 months before it began glitching. First I called customer service and they directed me to do a hard reset and if the problem did not fix itself to give them a call back. Needless to say that it did not fix itself and when I reached out again I was given 4 steps to take in order to receive my entitled warranty. One of the steps required me to provide a receipt of purchase from December of 23 which I clearly did not have so in August of 24. I asked if I could provide my card statement instead including all the other steps required. They responded with a resounding no, stating that I didn’t meet the requirements for the warranty because of not having the exact receipt. I truly believe this requirement is instated on purpose knowing that people usually don’t save their receipts for more than a few months let alone for a year. Never again!!

    DO NOT BUY GALANZ APPLIANCES!!! And do not trust Costco for selling decent stuff only. We bought a Galanz fridge, which stopped working a week ago after only a few months of use. We have been calling Galanz customer service for a week now and each time they ask for another 48 hours and NEVER get back to us with any updates. Supervisors are never available, say they will call back, but never do. They simply don't care. I am mad at Costco for selling this brand as one tends to believe that given the extended warranty for Costco members, they would do their due diligence not to sell crappy stuff. Certainly not the case.

    Costco now says it is on Galanz, who has the most horrible customer service I have seen in life. I am beyond mad and all I can do right now is use every online platform to stop people from buying this brand. My case number is ** in case anyone at Galanz cares to stop me from doing what I am doing to get their attention and to help buyers.

    The glass inside my microwave shattered and I called customer service. Customer service said to call Parts. They would take care of it. I called Parts, Part said they don't have parts for that and it is a safety problem to call customer service. I called customer service and they said if there was no parts they can't do anything about it. No concern whatsoever. No offer of any compensation.

    We purchased an over the stovetop microwave and it only lasted 13 months. Now Galanz was kind enough to give us a refund but it was only in the amount of the unit excluded taxes we had paid and installation. Now we were out of pocket in the amount of approximately $250-300 and stuck with an eye sore. We previous had a Frigidaire unit which was purchased and installed in 1998 and it lasted for over 20 years. I am so tired of having company not take any responsibility for the products they manufacture and sell.. I am tired of hearing I'm so sorry without any action demonstrating that they truly are sorry and are willing to stand behind what they manufactured and make it up to the consumers.

    I bought this and love this until the door would not open anymore and you couldn’t get anything done and I have bacon that’s been stuck in there since December. I repeatedly called customer service. I got all kinds of numbers. The last time I spoke with them at the first part of February, they told me they were sending me a new one and to send it back after I took pictures. After we discuss the receipt everything does they have not done one thing. They said at all. They’ve lied and lied and lied about everything and every detail they said to take care of this, so I’m doing a review, do not buy any product from them. They will not warranty it. They will not fix it. They will not do anything.

    All they do is stall you. I am also going to contact Walmart where I bought it from. Give them a review on Walmart and also the US product commission that deals with products that are distributed in the United States where they do not follow warranties and any other agency along with the Better Business Bureau that I can find to do a review or anything against this company that does not follow the rules

    Got a new toastwave from a retailer. Unboxed and there were items missing. Retailer said, "Call Customer Service of Galanz." I did and gave pictures as required. Concluded that the warranty is void since I bought it from an unauthorized dealer. What the heck, it's their product and who knows who forgot to complete the items inside the box? Never again to buy this company's products.

    Purchased a Galanz microwave in August of 2022 - It lost all power in December of 2022. Contacted Galanz by phone and gave them the number off of the plug and email over 10 time each. I no longer had the receipt of purchase but did give them the page from Home Depot where we purchased it. They said that was not enough - they needed the receipt - which we no longer had. They are not standing behind the one year warranty. Do not purchase a product from China!!

    I bought a airfryer had it less than 3 months. Heard a loud pop that shook the counter then I was afraid to use it then I tried again it wouldn’t heat the food I got it as a gift. Walmart said contact company. I just wanted replacement or to get a part determining what happen. They said no. Horrible customer care. I’m glad it didn’t catch on fire.

    The warranty department will not help! My warranty is not expired. The turntable inside microwave was broken. They told me they will send me a part four months ago. No one will call me back no one is saying anything to me. I have to continue to reach out to them. No help.

    I bought this microwave with convection oven and air fryer for a small apartment in our boathouse. It only gets used for three months in the summer. We used this for just one summer, but had bought it in the fall of 2020. I took it into a microwave repair shop since they told me it was just past the warranty period. The code on microwave says inverter not communicating and the repairman said we need a new inverter, but Galanz says there isn’t an inverter in it, and cannot buy the parts to fix it. They said a microwave is just usually thrown away and just go buy a new one. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Do Not Buy this brand.

    We found this microwave to be very disappointing. Unfortunately there weren’t a lot of in-store options available. (You get what you pay for.) It heats unevenly and you’re not able to key in a specific time (only in increments of 10 seconds). We’ll definitely be returning this item.

    This microwave performs well. No problems. We have had lots of different types of microwaves. This one works as well as any we have ever had. The microwave heats evenly and the setting are easy to use. I would recommend this microwave to anyone looking for something that works well.

    I replaced a professional series microwave with the Galanz convection microwave with air fryer. I almost never turn on my oven anymore. I really love this unit and am trying to find a way to install it in my fifth wheel. It cooks everything beautifully no matter what method is used. I need a built in model Galanz! Please.

    At first satisfied. After a 1 yr 2 1/2 months, distraught: I noticed about 6 months into using the microwave there was a dark brown circle under the microwave plate that I could not clean. Then I started noticing rust spots under the burnt brown circle and various places inside, but it still worked, until 03/10/19. I went to use it for a microwavable sweet potato and I heard an unusual noise. I stopped it, removed potato, reprogrammed and started again, that's when flames, sparks and a funny noise started. I immediately stopped it again and unplugged it. In calling 800 number I was advised that there was only one year for warranty and for me to contact Galanz Americas LTD. I felt Oster should be contacted since their name is on a product that is detrimental to society now that I was reviewed a lot of other unsolved complaints. I'm not happy to have a product just over 1 year and not being offered some kind of credit, other than you are sorry. Bad customer service!

    Put a cup of water in a microwavable container last night, after a few seconds, the screen started to shoot sparks which quickly became flames. I unplugged right away. Will be throwing this out and NEVER plan on purchasing a Galanz microwave again - Thank God I remained in kitchen and caught it when I did.

    The microwave does not take up a lot of space. It has all the bells and whistles of a bigger microwave. Ours is a 600 watt microwave. It's great from warming things up, making popcorn, cooking smaller frozen meals. It is very simple to use and the setting are very self explanatory. There never complications. It's cooks, and heats everything as stated. We've had this particular microwave since 2006. I love it! I only wish I had a larger watt microwave. Some of the frozen meals we do get for lunches normally need to cook on high in a 1000 watt microwave.

    The microwave was very simple and easy to set up. I had no real trouble to it, and it meets my expectations. It's reliable and has a nice look to it. It's relatively simple to use, and does its job right. It's also loud when your food is done, so if I'm in another room, I can at least hear when my food is ready. A popcorn setting on it would be cool though, and maybe a way to make it more energy efficient would suit my needs.

    The microwave is affordable and it seems to last a long time in my experience with the product. It is easy to clean and is easy to take care of. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I didn't set it up myself. It came with the house when we purchased it and it's not complicated to use at all. Some microwaves put way too much information on them. It should be easy and this one is. The look is a little cheap. Even though I buy it because it costs less, some of the buttons and things look outdated. I like a more streamlined look, smaller numbers so it doesn't look junky.

    I'm very happy with my Galanz microwave. I haven't had any problems at all with it. The only thing I could think of is if it had a choice of alarm sounds and to be able to change volume of the alarm. It's kind of annoying sounding and loud but I guess that's good for an alarm. It gets your attention makes you check it right away. I like the size of the interior of microwave. It's over 1 cubic foot. I can fit anything in it that I have ever wanted. It will hold all my different size bowls and dishes. I also like the programmed 1 step cooking buttons. I don't need to guess a time just push (for ex, the pizza) button and usually a perfect cook. I also like the sleek look.

    Setting it up was very easy. I read through the manual once and was able to use all parts of the microwave. Easy power set and timer. The easy set button for a variety of foods and thawing are already preset times. Everything has met my expectations and beyond. This microwave cooks my food faster and more thoroughly than any other I have own.

    It heats up fast and easy to clean. They are really big and have a good space to put stuff. They have everything I need. They are in good shape too and they have to have more pictures of stuff to cook. They have to shape them good. But the numbers are small. They need to do bigger and they have to be another color and have better space to have to put them in a better place to be used. They need to put big numbers to press a lot. They have to make bigger and more of them to have more in the store... They have to be good light to see better.

    The features of the microwave are nice as the popcorn pops just right when you walk away from the microwave without checking up on the popcorn. The clock is great and can be used as a timer. Maybe the price should go down, but other than that everything is right. I have warranty on this microwave so if something happens I can bring it back. Nothing is also complicated after you get used to using the microwave. The manual is simple to read and the website is simple too.
