Our issue was criminals breaking into vacant units. The problem stopped with the FrontPoint installed. Police caught 2 different groups of teens breaking in and setting up parties... We're glad we went with FrontPoint.

The best feature to me is the ability to add what you want to the system as well as the ability to take it with you if you move.

The FrontPoint system is a great deal and very easy to install. I have recommended it to several people and since I am an Insurance Agent I stress the savings on their policy. I like the fact I can monitor my system on computer or iPad when I am traveling.

We have been extremely pleased with our FrontPoint system. Installation was easy, and the phone staff was remarkably helpful with any questions. Since the system was installed it has worked almost perfectly. The only (minor) problem has been with the adhesive strips that hold up some of the heavier signal modules (i.e., smoke detectors, glass break detectors); they seem to lose adhesion after a while and need replacement. I only wish we had a strong enough cell signal at our vacation home (in rural Western Massachusetts) to get rid of my old hard-wired system and replace it with FrontPoint!

This is my second house that I own. I had Frontpoint security in my first house and of course when I bought my second house I never even thought for a second what is going to be my choice. I love your service, so easy to install. Your mobile app allows me to keep track of my alerts.

We switched to FrontPoint after having many problems with another large security company. The level of service, ownership of our account, and overall protection is stellar and I'd recommend highly to anyone on the market.

I signed up for FrontPoint because of their reviews. Signing up and getting the system was great and very easy. During the first six months I had many problems with their equipment and customer service. I worked very hard and stood by them as they tried to correct the problem... The problem was eventually worked up the chain and resolved. I am now very happy with them and their customer service....

I was called by dispatch saying my alarm was triggered. I informed them that it was my fiance and not to send the police. I was told they would cancel the alarm and we hung up the phone. 45 minutes later the police arrived to my home and asked my fiance for ID and proof of address. Later I received a letter for a false alarm and I will be charged $105 for the next one. I feel that the alarm company did not inform the police and caused me my courtesy false alarm. Also dispatching the police 45 min later instead of immediately, my house could have been cleaned out! That doesn't make me feel very safe.

Outstanding experience. Customer service is wonderful. The information gathering process was painless with no pressure at all. The equipment arrived on time and the set-up took 20 minutes. The ease of operation is great. Mobile access is immediate including remote arming and status check. I have highly recommended FrontPoint to many friends and neighbors. Wonderful experience.

My interactions with customer service have always been good because of their willingness to help and ability to resolve the problem. What I like most about Frontpoint is that the setup is easy and I have the ability to move the system with me when I move to another house. When I added a sensor to my garage door it was easy too. I like being able easily change my system according to my needs. I used to use the app all the time to set my alarm but ever since I added the garage door sensor, I have set the alarm from inside the house in order to bypass the garage door while I am gone during the day. It would be more convenient to be able to bypass the garage door from my app. Maybe the app already does this and I am just not aware of it.

I was very skeptical of the self set-up, but it was very easy and the customer service reps were incredibly helpful throughout the process. Additionally, they have been very thorough and responsive with every question I've had since we purchased the monitoring. We have been very pleased.

Have been on FrontPoint for a number of months. I switched from ADT for two reasons. First - I wanted a cellular provider. Second - they were highly rated. So far I am quite happy. The thing that has impressed me the most is the phone support. Folks seem to really know what they are talking about. This is not what I found when I called ADT. I was a bit apprehensive about setting this up myself - I did get some phone support and it was easy!

Have had no break-in attempts but we have accidentally set off the alarm a few times and your rep is always prompt with the call.

I have a very good experience in dealing with customer service. I came with a coupon late, while still in free trial period, and was worked with to allow myself savings. I appreciate it when people take care of customers! Thank you! Also, I love the phone app and the ability to set my alarm from my phone. I wish it was compatible with my current house operating system. Also I have seen other units that have weather another warning that send alerts for extreme weather. My sister has a different company and her alarm when off alerting her a tornado was headed their way.

After having used two other security system, both of them using the telephone wiring, I feel really secure using this system with its wireless feature. I have experienced excellent response from the local police the two time I set the alarm off and could not remember my pass code.

Issues: 1) Monitoring center calls my secondary number first rather than primary number. 2) Tape on one of motion sensors is not strong enough to hold sensor on wall so it falls off. 3) iPhone app interface appears to be not very modern and slick and responsive, as well as website interface; in particular, changing payment method online would be very useful. 4) There was at least one occasion when door opening sensors reported as "open" while the doors were closed and locked and not moving at all for quite long time.
Good sides: Setup was easy and straightforward, with only exception of I found no way of using "FrontPoint protected" labels - they are not useful and cannot be attached to either windows or a posted sign.

I had a boat for sale that set out by my driveway. This guy and his girlfriend stopped out in front of my house on road, came to door and asked if he put $200 down and return in 2 weeks with the rest, if I would hold the boat for him. I agreed, then gave him a receipt. When I came out of my front door, my beeper made its sound of a door being opened. He asked what that sound was and I told him. He, then asked how long it would take for the law to arrive. I told him a deputy sheriff lived half a mile from here. He left.
3 houses were broken into in this area, flat screens were ripped from the wall, computers, jewelry and guns were stolen. This guy never came back for his $200 or the boat. After talking to a law official weeks later, they had arrested a couple that was involved in the 3 break-ins. I never seen their pictures, but the identities closely matched the guy that stopped at my house that day. I truly believe that my FrontPoint security system saved my house that day.

Customer service has been excellent. The equipment was easy to install and easy to use. The only downside I noticed was that the motion detector doesn't respond immediately. I tested the motion detector, armed my system, waited a few minutes then walked in front of it. It did not immediately trigger the alarm, after about 5 seconds and jumping up and down in front of it, the alarm finally triggered. It gets the job done, but would be more satisfied, if the motion detector was more sensitive and triggered the alarm immediately.

This is a great product backed by an excellent customer service center. My only concern is the confluence of price and value. The products and monthly fee are a bit high and I am not sure the value proposition is being met.

Fast shipment of equipment that works well, customer service that's prompt and responsive. Cellular network and user friendly apps for phone and pad set them apart. Many, many sensors and capabilities. Competitive monitoring rates. Researched thoroughly before I went with them and all accolades were accurate. Highly recommended.

The system is amazingly easy to install and very user friendly in use. We have not had any issues since installation and are actually bragging to neighbors about how nice the system works for us. FrontPoint does a good job in explaining the benefits of each of the packages so you can pick one that suits your needs. My parents who were visiting from overseas actually asked if they could take the system with them!

FronPoint has always been a great service and a great value, but recently, when I got a job offer in another state, we discovered additional reasons to love FrontPoint! We moved quickly, before we could sell our home. With FrontPoint, we not only have peace of mind about being away, but we have the added value of being able to manage the system remotely. Set up was a breeze... wireless access is second to none... with the customizable notifications, monitoring the current status and activity history is so simple with the app for Android. FrontPoint is one of the easiest systems to install, maintain and own. Not to mention that they have great customer service, always courteous and helpful. Not sure why you would own another system, no wires, no strangers in your house, just stick, call and you're ready to go!
You couldn't be more correct! A wireless system like ours is the way to go if you want a system that is virtually undefeatable. Like you mentioned, you don't have to worry about any wires being cut, and installation is so easy that you don't need to have a stranger enter your home.

The service provided is quite good. I had a problem that the motions sensors fell off the wall due to the tape no longer being able to hold them. New tape was sent to me but I found it rather odd that exactly 6 pieces of tape were sent for the 3 sensors. Not one piece more. : )

When we received FrontPoint Security System to set up in our home, it was super easy to install. When we needed help, it was concise and very helpful. Whenever the alarm has been set off (by us), follow up was timely and appropriate. Thank God no one else has set off the alarm without our knowledge). We will recommend FrontPoint to anyone else who is in the market for a security system that works.

FrontPoint is top of the line security and service with pricing that just works! Within two days I had my customized system shipped, installed and functioning. The folks over there really know how to treat their customers. We even had a false alarm and in a way I'm glad because I got to see firsthand how they would respond without it being an actual emergency. I can leave my home with confidence. Set up my in-laws with a system also and they love it. Now we all sleep better at night and go about our day without worry. With my cell phone I can be home even when I'm not. Love that I can turn lights on and off and see what's going on at all times. Thanks FrontPoint!

We would highly recommend FrontPoint Security. The customer service is great and the system was exceptionally easy to self-install. We were able to set up the whole system quickly and we love being able to turn on and off our system with our cell phones. We accidentally set the system off shortly after installing, FrontPoint called and texted both of our cell phones instantly to check in on us. That experience has shown us how attentive FrontPoint is with regard to monitoring our system. We are so happy we decided to forgo using one of the larger named companies and chose to go with FrontPoint. We used to have a different system prior to FrontPoint and dreaded calling because the customer service was so bad. We used to feel concerned with our old system. We don't feel that way anymore.
We're thrilled to hear it! After all, isn't the point of a security system to feel safe and not worry about it? I did quite a bit of research on alarm systems before choosing FrontPoint Security. I looked not only at the product line the companies offered, but the level of customer service and responsiveness as well. From the inquiry I made, Carol took the time to ensure my needs were covered. She followed up and then we tweaked some of my choices thinking ahead to the future and how the system would suit my family's needs. FrontPoint's ability to offer me home automation products tied into my alarm provided me the level of security I was looking for. Set up was easy, and I was up and online in minutes. Adding the security cameras was simple, and did require a few calls to customer service to guide the through fine tuning the camera settings. However hands down FrontPoint has some of the friendliest and most helpful customer service I have encountered to date. I’m glad I made the choice to go with FrontPoint!

I am very pleased with the ease of setting up the contract and even outing in the alarm system ourselves. The best part is the app. It is so easy to navigate the controls of the alarm system using the app. When you have your hands full with groceries and a baby, sometimes the last thing you can do is punch in a code on a panel. I am able to disarm the alarm while pulling into the driveway with my phone. In addition, when my mom flew into town, I was able to let her in the house using the app from work!

I had a low battery on my counsel. I called FrontPoint and the customer assistance personnel were very helpful. They shipped me a battery right away and talked me through the step by step procedure for installing the new battery. It is nice to know they are always there and ready to help.

I have FrontPoint for about 5 years now. I feel very confident when I'm out of the house. Especially knowing that I can see my property from anywhere at anytime. Also like the fact that I can armed my system away from my house if needed @ anytime. I especially like the text messaging send to my iPhone when the cameras spot a moving object in the area. Their customer service and their tech department are top notch and are all trained professionally to handle what ever issues you might encounter. I would definitely recommend (FRONT POINT SECURITY) for your home protection and peace of mind. Set up was a breeze....

Every time I have a question, whether it's about settings or my bill, they are so friendly and helpful. I have never had a problem with customer service or the device itself. I feel safe and secure every time I leave the house or when I go to sleep!! Easy set up and quality is great and the price is fabulous!

I rest easy every night and anytime I am away from home because I know my home is secure with Frontpoint. A couple times the maintenance guy at my apartment accidentally set it off while entering to do routine maintenance. Frontpoint was quick to call me and notify me that it had been triggered. I felt good knowing Frontpoint was serious about ensuring the security of my home. I would definitely recommend this company!

I've been very happy with Front Point so far. The price is reasonable. It took very little time (20 mins) to install and they walked me through the installation over the phone. Super easy. Luckily, we haven't had an incident. I also really like the mobile app... except I can't seem to remember my password.

I love the system and app use and customization. The price for cameras are way too high though compared to what's available on internet. I would rather have separate app for cam and one for security because of price.

I have used Brinks, ADT, and a private security firm in Maryland over two decades. When I discovered FrontPoint via the Better Business Bureau I was very interested in their excellent rating. I researched FrontPoint and found their simple customer approach and easy installation was right for my requirements. I installed the FrontPoint system one Saturday and have found its easy use operation welcoming. The monthly fee is reasonable also. The most important feature that made me choose FrontPoint for my family's security requirements are its 100% cellular connectivity. The other alarms companies cannot offer the fool proof cellular connection. I definitely recommend FrontPoint.

A system that is 100% wireless, meaning it also comes with cellular connectivity, should be the only option in this time and age. There are no wires to cut and with a 24 hour backup battery, it is virtually impossible to defeat.

Over the years I have had a couple of different alarm systems. One was a professional system that cost big, big bucks. Another was a mail order one that I could never get to work correctly, even though I am a very good mechanic and have a degree in electronics. I researched the Front Point system after we moved into a newer home and there were a few break-ins in the area. I settled on Front Point and ordered the system. Like a lot of people we gave up our telephone land line some time ago so we needed a wireless system. The Security Consultant was extremely helpful in helping me decide what components I needed.
After receiving the package I installed all the sensors and control unit in less than 3 hours including studying the instructions and had it up and running in another few minutes. We have had the system for about a year and have had no problems with it at all. I added a couple of sensors with equal ease for an out building. I love the smartphone app features which allow arming or disarming remotely and being able to see when a door is opened when I am away from the home. I also like the way it can be customized via the application. I cannot say enough about the system and would recommend it to anyone.

I have been very happy with the support I have received. My major focus now would be to slightly pivot from a security focus to a caring focus (i.e. how can we help the individual home owner save money by thermostat control, etc). Show that the $40 per month they spend saves them $60 (home owners premium, climate control, etc).

I researched security systems after our home was broken into. FrontPoint was superior based on my Internet search. In asking people I work with, FrontPoint's ease of use system was recommended and highly praised. When I called FrontPoint, I was treated kindly and with respect. They tout customer care and they can, because it is clearly evident that they care about their customers. I am so happy with our system. I feel safe and secure. We had a false alarm (I left my dog out of his crate for the day) and we were notified immediately! A great GE product topped off with incredible customer care. Thoroughly impressed!

We ordered the system several months ago. The customer service rep was wonderful and explained everything to me clearly on the phone. The system arrived and was very simple to install and we have never had any trouble with it. We all definitely sleep better knowing that we are protected each night.

I've had my FrontPoint account for almost 2 years. The system functions very well and adds security and value to our home. Installation and setup was easier than I expected. I had one door sensor to fail and FrontPoint replaced it by express mail at no charge to me. So far, the system works well and seems to be a very good value.

Overall system and support is great. There have been few wrong alerts and system is going into hang state where it does not respond. Other than that it behaves as advertised. Installation was a breeze but there should be additional attachments to make the sensors stick. Some of them don't stick too well to the painted surface. Something that goes over the sensor to secure might be a good option.

This summer I have been home more frequently on vacation from work. I have set off the alarm two or three times because I forgot it was on. I tried to get to the box as quickly to turn it off when I heard it go off. FrontPoint called me immediately to find out if I was doing okay. I feel good about that.

So easy to set up and use. I had researched other security services before going with FrontPoint, and a lot of customers from other companies said they were not contacted when their alarm went off. We accidentally opened our garage door as we were leaving the house, and before we could get in the house to disarm the alarm, they were on the phone asking for our code. This made us feel good knowing they are truly monitoring our home. Also in the purchasing process, we were not pressured into buying things we did not need. They went over the layout of our house and suggested the best items for our protection. In fact, I bought more items than the company said we needed. It has been a year now since we purchased our system, and we have been 100% satisfied with it.

I found you on the internet, and once I spoke to one of your representatives, I felt very comfortable ordering a system from you. I installed it myself, and had customer service label the sensors and also show me how to download the iPhone app. I really like being able to arm and disarm my system from my phone. I have been a customer with FrontPoint for multiple years now and can honestly say they are the BEST! I have had no issues with the system and receive prompt calls and follow ups on the few alarms that I have received from my system. I was so happy I bought a system for my mother who is technology handicapped. My mom called when the system arrived and the Rep she spoke with stayed on the phone with her for 4 1/2 hours assisting her in the setup.

I chose FrontPoint Security based on online reviews, and I have not been disappointed. When I called to setup my account they actually "down sold" me on equipment. I assumed I needed a lot more equipment than I actually did. Despite the fact that their advice would decrease their sales, they advised I get less equipment. The installation of three door sensors, the camera, glass break sensor, and motion sensor took about an hour. It was very straightforward. The iOS and Android apps both work flawlessly. We have had an alarm activation (construction worker who got there early) and the response from the monitoring team was immediate. I would highly recommend FrontPoint to anyone.

In the beginning it was good, I was with ADT for 3 years and everything with them was good also. When I got my new system the install was quick and professional. After 3 weeks or so we started getting these false alarms, we tried everything to figure out why we were getting so many false alarms. After many phone calls we figure out the reasons. Door sensors and the garage sensors were setting the alarm off. On my last call to c/s we figure it out, it was the air pressure from outside that was causing the door sensors to trip. Your installer returned and re-position the door sensors that were affected and all is well. We also like the Android application that allows me to control the alarm sensors. I wish there was a video camera install as well. I thought that the system would come with at least 1 camera in the package that was not an added expense. With a system like this video should be standard. Thanks FrontPoint.

Front Point is a good system at a decent price. My only dislike is the outdoor camera mount. It is difficult to mount the camera above the mount arm due to the swivel. It won't stay in place unless secured and nothing comes with the kit to do this.

Everyone I spoke with at FrontPoint was polite. No one was rude. But honestly, the reason for my call was never satisfied. I called on the weekend to request a change with my contact information. Customer service told me they were not able to handle this request until regular business hours resume and they said they would have someone call me back. They took my contact information but no one called me back. This was 10 days ago.

I've been a Frontpoint Security system user for over a year now. Upon receiving the system the set up was a breeze. The customer service representative was knowledge and respectful. I never felt pressured or pushed to make a purchase. The system itself is simple. I have a 1500sf home and the system is sufficient. The system panel is easy to use and the remote key fobs work great. Although we've never had an actual break in, I've tested the system and it works flawlessly. I receive accurate email alerts and have never had any issues. I'll recommend this system to anyone liking for a home security system...

I am very happy with my service. I have only had one incident where my alarm went off and FrontPoint immediately called me and made sure that everything was ok. They ask if local law enforcement was needed and I said "no". I was very surprise by their quickness to respond and wanted me to feel safe.

I replaced my old system with the FrontPoint system about a year ago and couldn't be happier. The set up was easy. Did it myself in less than an hour. I have added 3 cameras as well as automating my lights and thermostat. My home is more secure than ever. Operating the system from my phone or tablet is simple and quick. I was able to get rid of my phone line at home as the entire system is wireless. I will continue to recommend this system to everyone who asks.

I have not been with FrontPoint very long but my experience with set up and any and all questions I have had were handled perfectly. I had the alarm go off. It was not an intruder and I was impressed with the promptness of them contacting me, I think it was less than a minute if that is possible or two if that. My cat set the alarm off so I set the motion sensor in different spot. But the promptness and their friendliness is the best I have ever dealt with and this is true, I have recommend people to them and brag about the system.

From the very beginning, the customer support was amazing. The initial setup was a breeze as promoted. We moved to a safer neighborhood but chose to keep FrontPoint anyway because of the added fire security. They call instantly when something occurs and make sure that we are okay. I have maintained our Front Point Security System now for over 3 years and 3 moves. I also maintain a 2nd system at another residence. I have always been very pleased with the Customer Service I have received - specifically when dealing with issues concerning equipment (door/window sensors, control panel, glass break sensor). This gives me great peace of mind knowing if we encounter any issue, it will be resolved quickly via tech support (whether it's something I need to do or something that needs to be shipped for replacement).

Overall, my experience has been very good with Front Point. The only issue I have (albeit a big one) is that a consultant doesn't visit your home to provide guidance on the best security solutions. The phone consultants do try, but frankly there is no way to really give good advice unless they can see the home. I feel like there are some gaps in our set-up as it currently is, but I hesitate to just order more equipment without knowing for sure what the best, more secure, set-up would be.

Overall good experience. But since I have rentals, would be nice before charging me for the call out to property; you guys would contact the owner first even if you get wrong password from tenant since I'm the one to get charged. I should be contacted first and letting me handle it at first, before sending out patrol.

It took about a half an hour to set up, with sensors on windows and door plus two motion sensors. Easy to activate and disarm. Mush less expensive than the competitors and didn't require any wiring. Works great for our family. I've spoken with customer service a couple of times and found them very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Frontpoint.

We have had a number of false alarms from everything to one of us forgetting the alarm was on and going outside, to smoke from cooking inside the house, and to our dogsitter setting off the alarm while we were out of the country. FrontPoint has been nothing but timely and professional each time they have called. A couple of these requests actually led to the police coming to our house and they were there within minutes so two thumbs up.

Only had an issue with my garage door sensor when I got the system and FrontPoint sent a replacement right of way. No issues at all and every time I call I get great service.

Frontpoint has always been terrific for us... no real alarms at this point but they have always been responsive to our false alarms. We had a problem with the backing coming off one of our sensors and they were more than willing to replace free of charge. They always answer our questions and have been willing to help us in any way they could.

The ability to activate and de-activate the system with my Smartphone is easy and quick. I like the ability to monitor the history of the sensors in my house as well.

I have had little problems with help or service from FRONTPOINT. They were available when I needed help in the set up procedure. They called back to insure that what they said was helpful .I'm still experiencing problems with one of my door contacts but I think it is my fault and not FrontPoint. I’ve had two different services in the past but Frontpoint is the best in terms of service that I have had.

My Mom died in 2010. Since my Dad didn't have a sense of smell, my sister and I decided our Dad needed some type of fire detection just to be on the safe side. One day, about a year ago, I received an emergency from Front Point that the smoke detectors had been set off and that Fire Trucks had been dispatched. I immediately phoned my Dad to find out that my niece had burned something she was cooking. I told my Dad, "Fire Trucks are on the way to your house," to which he said, "No, they're not." About 10 seconds later, he said, "I gotta go, there are some sirens outside." I live an hour from my Dad, and it's nice to know Front Point is watching him better than I could if I lived next door.

Can't describe how much comfort the FrontPoint system installed in my home has provided my family and I. The system was super easy to order, setup and operate. With the ability to evaluate and interact with my system remotely through my Smartphone, I am always in touch with what is happening with my home. A great example of this very helpful "remote control" of my system occurred as we were away on holiday in Europe. The mother-in-law stopped in to check on the house and as she stepped into the house, she was shocked to find she forgot the FrontPoint security panel access code. She texted me on my phone to ask what to do, and, through some quick action through my Smartphone FrontPoint application, I was able to disarm the system before the alarm was raised. Great system!

FrontPoint came highly recommended by some close friends who when they just got their system installed, left town and were broken into. Because of FrontPoint, nothing was taken from their home. We immediately called and got our FrontPoint system installed. Cut to two weeks later, my wife and I were out of town, about an hour and half from our home. On a Sunday morning, I woke up to find about 25 missed calls on my phone...all from FrontPoint. My first thought was we have been robbed, but soon found out that a hot water pipe burst in our bathroom and the FrontPoint fire detector was alerted. The hot steam triggered the alarm.
The fire department came to the house, got inside without damaging the doors and turned off the water with only minimal water damage. If we had not had the FrontPoint system, our entire home would have been flooded. We are true fans of FrontPoint. The system is easy to install, easy to operate. The customer service is always on top of everything, the monthly fee is reasonable, and most important, FrontPoint makes us feel a whole lot better when we leave our home.

I looked at a lot of systems before deciding on FrontPoint, and in the end, decided to give them a try. I have had no problems with my system. Its features are great, and it's been a comfort knowing it's there. The only negative that I would give is that I feel additional sensors and add-on equipment seems a bit pricey.

I really like the system, but am not fully confident in the alert options. I think it would be wise to have more assistance in setting up alerts. Also, the customer service when I call for assistance is excellent.

Easy to set up, 1st rate in assistance, super quick to contact you if alarm should be activated by unknown source. I have called a couple times to ask questions and technicians were able to answer my questions without hesitation. Very knowledgeable support services. Very reasonably priced. I've dealt with their technical support dept., their customer service dept., and the monitoring service dept. And I have no complaints at all about anyone that I've spoken to at FrontPoint. They are extremely professional and courteous. The monitoring service is excellent. The few times the alarm has gone off in my house, the monitoring service always call me in less than 1 min after alarm panel reports the alarm to the monitoring service.

From ordering my custom security system through the installation and activation process, it was all so easy. I got all my equipment for less than other security system plus I can take it with me if I move. There are no holes in the walls from installation. I needed my security system quickly and I received it within 24 hours whereas it would have taken other companies 2-3 weeks to come out and do the installation. I can operate the system from an easy app on my phone or a keychain fob. I am extremely happy with the system and service.

Great system. I like to be able to put sensors where I want them without running wires and stuff behind walls. Very easy to install and maintain. Great Customer service. The monitoring is very quick. I have set the alarm off several time by accident and within seconds I get a message on my smart phone, a few seconds later I get a phone call.

After suffering a break-in to our home in January of 2013, my wife and I started searching for an alarm system. We looked at all the local and national units before making a decision. We could not be happier. We are reminded to set the alarm if we forget. We know when the kids come home from school or a guest arrives and we know when sensors are tripped immediately, all via our smart phones! We also know that the response time is almost instant when the alarm is triggered. Very pleased and a great system. Also easy to install! Would buy again and again.

While the system and monitoring works OK, we have had numerous challenges particularly with the garage door sensors - in spite of multiple troubleshooting calls with FrontPoint Support, and moving the control unit all over. We have also had a few malfunctioning sensors that have been replaced promptly but beg the question - why so many issues?

I wanted a system that I could control with my Apple devices. This one does it well. Arming and disarming are easily done. System status is easy to see (though it could refresh a little faster). Alarm is loud and phone response is quick. My only complaint is the garage door sensors. Lots of false readings. Customer service give lots of help and supplies but they still give false results. Cold weather especially. Sales was a good experience. Easy to install. Easy to use. Plan on adding cameras in near future. Overall a good experience.

We have been very happy overall. My only complaint has been the issue with metal doors and the sensors. You have to build these up with lots of double-sided tape so the metal does not interfere. Usually that works. Sometimes a door can be too far from a sensor as well. I have been called every time the alarm has gone off except one time. Not sure why that one time was missed. Again, overall the system is really cool, allowing remote arm/disarm and monitoring. I have not tried the camera monitoring.

I have been with Frontpoint security system for almost 2 years and they have proven themselves to be a great security company. I was extremely hesitate in choosing a company, especially with the problems you hear with them and the cost involved. I was surprised to find out it was less expensive than I thought, granted I pay a little more monthly than I would with other companies but their customer service has been amazing. The install set up process was easy and I am someone that has difficulty with setting up anything involving computers, they make it very simple. When your alarm does go off they call to inquire about the situation if everything is okay. They can tell if there is a tamper or a sensor error, yet they still call and text or email to make sure everything is okay and if you need any assistance. Also having the ability to operate your alarm system from your phone is great and has come in very handy for me along with being extremely easy to use. I would highly recommend and I have to anyone looking for a great security company.

I love this system. Super easy to install. Expandable if I move and it just goes with me. Over cell network is so much more secure. Love being able to control from my iPhone to let in people while I’m gone or to turn on in case I forgot while rushing out the door. I checked out the rest this is by far the best!!
You couldn't be more correct! A cellular-based wireless security system like ours is incredibly secure. There's no wires to worry about and if the power goes out, no worry because of the 24-hour backup battery. Another plus, like you mentioned, is just how easy it is to move the system. We got FrontPoint Security System for a sense of security when my husband works nights. We have mistakenly set the alarm off, and we get a call almost instantly. The motion sensor is unreliable and have false alarm. The initial setup instruction is not sufficient. It doesn't tell me to avoid facing it to the window even though it is 10 ft away. I have false alarm a few days after activation. I have false alarm 3 months later on the motion sensor again. I just can't trust the sensor and I tell FrontPoint don't send dispatch. My wife went home to check it and of course false alarm. Probably change company after contract over. Customer service is easy to reach and friendly. However, not quite helpful in my case because they cannot find out what's wrong with the sensor. The window break sensor also has false alarm. Customer service help me find out the spring keep pushing out the cover. He told me to remove the adhesive foam pad on the cover and the problem goes away. The ad show how the equipment can move with you to the new home but I just don't think they will last that long.

I have had this service for over a year now. I am absolutely sure that my family is safe. I can go away for the weekend and know my daughter is safe to be home alone. Security of my children, even though they are young adults, is a top priority to me. I have never felt so confident in the well being of my children, my animals and my home!

I looked on Angie's list for a home security system that we could install ourselves. Front Point had the best reviews so I went with them and I am so glad I did. My husband and I do not like to do any kind of homework unless it involves the yard! And we are both not very technical.... Front Point was very easy to use! It only took us 15 mins from start to finish! Any time I have called Front Point I have talked to an actual person! And they are always helpful and nice. If you are looking for an easy home security system that you can easily do yourself, is an affordable price, and has very nice and knowledgeable people to actually talk to... then look no more! I always recommend Front Point to family and friends.

I was a little nervous about an alarm system that came in the mail and that I would install myself. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was simple to install and has performed beautifully. I love the iPhone and iPad features that let me see the each area of my house, turn on and off lights, and arm or disarm with the touch of a button. I also love that the system texts me if anyone arms or disarms my system while I'm away, or even if we have a power outage.
I'm 100% satisfied with my new system!

My husband and I researched several alarm companies before deciding on FrontPoint. The initial setup of the account was easy and the representative was great at answering our questions and getting us started. They made sure we had everything we needed to make our house secure. The system is easy to use and if we had a question we would get the answer quickly from customer service. Every customer service rep that we have talked to was very knowledgeable and kind.
I love the fact that we can arm or disarm the system from our cellphones. We get text when our alarm goes off or when our son gets home. The call out time is quick and the police are notified quickly as well. Our son forgot to disarm the alarm after coming home from school one day. After getting the text that our alarm was set off I called my son to let him know he forgot to disarm it. About five minutes after hanging up with my son, I got a call from a police officer. He was at my house responding to the alarm and was checking that our son was supposed to be there.
I was relieved to know that FrontPoint sent out the alarm to the police so quickly which in turn had the police respond to my home quickly. The system cannot be cut from the outside since it is cellular and doesn't run through the phone cable. We love this system and highly recommend it! It has given us peace of mind when we are home or away!

So far, I am extremely pleased with my FrontPoint Security system. It was extremely easy to set up and their customer service has always been helpful. For 6 years my parents had ADT as their security system and had no complaints. However, I prefer FrontPoint as being #1 and they were helpful with the price for 12 additional window/door sensors I purchased with their security system. I would recommend FrontPoint Security Systems to others.

I've had the system now for about 6 months and have to honestly say that I am impressed. I have added a few new devices since my initial setup and all were very easy. Customer service is great and when an alarm does go off, they call to ensure that it was accidental or a true break in. I'll eventually expand the system further with a motion detector and/or camera but while my roommate and his dog as with me, I’ll be holding off.

I have been very pleased with FrontPoint. I feel my vacation home is very secure when we are not here. We have been fortunate because we have not had any serious incidents. But I have had enough conversations with FrontPoint personnel when a potential issue has come up that I know our home is being watched and we have been alerted when a potential problem has risen. FrontPoint personnel are knowledgeable, polite and very helpful.

Since we have gotten our FrontPoint home security system, my family and I have been sleeping much better at night. Before we got our system we had an attempted burglary. We have had a few false alarms where we didn't get the system disarmed in time and we had a call from the FrontPoint team within 2 minutes. And the police responded quickly. Overall very good system. Especially the customer service is outstanding. Would like to have the flexibility (on the keypad) to have different zones in the home (e.g. basement, 1st floor) that can be selectively put on different monitoring modes (Doors and windows on 1st floor; Motion in Basement).

I am very happy with the alarm, the features, and the service. It works reliably, and lets me monitor my home to give me a higher level of security. The customer service is also very good - when we have tripped an alarm, if we have any issues with one of the sensors going bad - they are always nice and super helpful.

My experience with Frontpoint has been great. The set up was very easy and when I didn't understand I was able to call and the representative was very helpful and friendly. Having the FrontPoint security system has been an excellent experience. It offers peace of mind when I am on the road and was amazingly easy to install. We do not have landline phones and the cell technology that FrontPoint utilizes is an excellent plus.

My initial experience with FrontPoint's Security consultant was very informative. She explained the basic operation of the system with all the details and benefits of a wireless system.
I did speak with 2 other companies about comparable systems and even one of those companies provided an in-home sales presentation. What stood out the most to me was that FrontPoint actually called back to check-up and see how their system looked compared to the others and to find out if I had any other questions. The two other companies did not follow up with me.
The FrontPoint system was simple to install and has worked as advertised. I feel as though I have received what I have paid for and these days that can be hard to find.

I am very happy with my security system. It was easy to install and easy to use. I am called immediately if FrontPoint Security is notified and questioned if the alert to call local autorities is necessary or a false alarm on my behalf. It is a simple, but very powerful system.

Basically I got what I wanted. I hooked up the system. It works perfectly. I turn it on, it works. I turn it off, it works. That is all I use, that's all I want. The company has a ton of customer support and all kinds of apps and computer stuff. I don't want all that stuff. I never call them. They never call me. That's the way I want it. If I want a ton of support it's there but I don't really want to talk to anyone ever and that's exactly what I get - a perfect hands free system. I have had the system up and running for a couple years now and I am very happy. I think they should send you more signs and stickers every year or two for free but that's just me. Thanks guys for being there and leaving me alone till I actually need your help. A+ all the way.

I can finally get a good night's rest now that I have the FrontPoint system I am able to sleep more sound. After setting up our system on an instruction basis with FrontPoint on the phone we have found the system to be excellent, especially when our children accidently get to the disarm too late the response is immediate and multimedia, by text and phone and email. I researched companies on the internet before I made a final decision and I decided to go with FrontPoint Security because it had the best reviews online. I have to say I was a little nervous that I won't be able to do installation myself but it was so easy and friendly to do. I love the customer service. When you call them you don't get to hold for 30 minutes before someone picks up the phone. We had unintentional alarms going off and the monitoring service calls within seconds to make sure you are ok. I would never go with any other company because of the customer service and hassle free that I receive from FrontPoint.

We've had a FrontPoint system for over 5 years now and (the same system) in two different houses and have never had any issues. The customer service reps are always quick to respond no matter if it's over the phone or via email. We have the full interactive system with the majority of the sensors and video. It has always been great to know you are protected and your family including pets are safe at all times. I've recommended and had several of my family members sign up - we highly recommend FrontPoint! The only thing I would like now is possibly the opportunity to upgrade some of our equipment. Thanks!

My wife and I have had FrontPoint for about 2 years now. Love how easy it was to buy and set up. All wireless. And supports z-wave. I haven't added many accessories yet but I plan to. Also I found I use the app far more often than I would have guessed. All in all we've had a great experience.

We ordered our security system on November 30, 2011 for a home with seven "man" doors and a garage door on three levels. We received it shortly thereafter. It was not difficult to install (even including drilling in two door frames). Total install time was less than three hours. The only issue we have had is with the metal overhead garage door sensor about 6 months after installation. Support walked us through a reset which was pretty simple and which worked. The iPhone app is simple to use and we use it almost exclusively to arm and disarm the system. The system emails us when the power goes out and when it comes back on, which is very helpful when we are out of town. Our daughter (who lives in Boston and recommended FrontPoint to us) is also very satisfied with her system. We are VERY satisfied customers.

I switched to FrontPoint Security after my old company could not offer full home coverage. They were still running wires through the house and their equipment hadn't changed since the 90's. I found FrontPoint after an exhaustive search and they are everything I wanted in an alarm company. State of the art, friendly customer service and cheaper than my old company. I am thrilled with FrontPoint!

We have had our homes monitored by huge impersonal national alarm companies in the past and I never really had any complaints. Yet when I started doing research on an alarm service that allowed remote access via my iPhone, FrontPoint came up repeatedly. I was initially worried about self-installation - what if I did it wrong? What if it was a hassle?
Thankfully, I was thrilled it was as easy as they said it would be. I can check my system anywhere I have internet access so I can remotely arm/disarm the system. This is a huge advantage when I have unexpected guests (e.g., housekeepers aren't done when I leave, so I arm the system after I see that they've left). Plus, I can monitor exactly when doors/windows are opened, like when my dogwalking service comes by and I see that they've taken my dog longer than the promised 30 minutes. It's an amazing system and I bet vacation home owners would love the convenience of remote monitoring and access, too.
Isn't the mobile app just awesome? It offers so many convenient features, most of which you mentioned, that make protecting your home so much easier. And we definitely understand why you would have those initial questions, but we're glad to see that you found out firsthand that our system is really simple to set up!

We installed an alarm in our Winter home in Arizona. While we were back home in Canada the main module battery went dead. Frontpoint arranged for a new battery to be mailed to our address in Arizona. The people who watched over the house in our absence were not sure how to install the battery so we called Frontpoint. They walked them through the installation of the new battery. We have always received topnotch support from Frontpoint and have since installed another Frontpoint system in our home in Canada

Customer service was extremely helpful when first deciding what we needed for our home. They weren't trying to push products that I wasn't interested in, which is rare today. The system arrived quickly, was very easy to get up and running. We love the smartphone/iPad apps... very convenient. Love checking the history on the app to see when my kids come in and go out. After a lot of searching on the Internet I found FrontPoint. I initially set up a system with monitors on every exterior door and every window of the home as well as a glass break sensor. Later I installed an exterior horn for when the system goes off. One day our system went off because a door had not closed all the way and I was surprised to find out that two sensors need to be tripped in order for the police to be called. I was disappointed to learn this now where I should have been told this by the sales rep when I first purchased the system. If I had I would have purchased motion sensors in addition to the other sensors. Since then I have added motion sensors and a smoke alarm. Other than my disappointment of the sales rep the system has been sound, works like it should, and every contact with customer service has been positive. Very happy with the product.

For instance, if you were to walk through your front door, which has a sensor on it, you will have 30 seconds to get to your control panel. If you have not disarmed your system, the alarm will sound. If the system is not disarmed in the allotted amount of time, that is when the monitoring station will notify you and the authorities.

I highly recommend FrontPoint. As someone who often forgets to arm my house, likes to monitor entry/exits, remote access, and ease of use, FrontPoint provides all of those elements. I love how, I can be vacationing on the beach of Cancun while checking in on my video or seeing which one of my family members entered/exited throughout the day. It brings comfort when I'm rushed out of the house and forget to arm the place to only whip out my mobile app to arm it. It brings a new level of security comfort I couldn't get from any other provider.
Another advantage, if I was to move, just unplug my system from the outlet, remove the sensors, and throw replug and reattach into the new property. Great option as a realtor and home flipper that my client/my homes have the added protection without wires.
The mobile app is really awesome, isn't it? Having the ability to just stay connected to your system, no matter where you are, adds another layer of security to your home. We're happy to see you mention how easy it is to move our system; one of the many benefits of having a completely wireless system, besides being virtually impossible to defeat, is just how portable it is.

After having had a horrible experience with another company, FrontPoint was like a breath of fresh air. They were extremely professional, patient, honest, and concerned that we receive the highest quality of customer service and they did not try to oversell us but rather listen to our needs. The alarm system was easy to install and every FrontPoint professional that we have spoken with has been just as professional as the last. We highly recommend your company.
