    Easy to order, easy to install and it WORKS. We made two mistakes by not disarming and within seconds we had a phone call to ask for our password information. Seconds, not minutes or part of an hour, minutes. Then we added glass breakage, which was recommended when we first bought the system but I thought I knew better. I was wrong. The Front Point customer service person was right. No big deal. Bought the two units, installed, called the 800, they confirmed they were set up and working and no additional monthly charge. We are very happy and satisfied Front Point customers.

    From start to present I have had a great experience. I had an issue with mounting one of the sensors because of my door. They sent extra mounting pads for no charge. I did have to pay for shipping which is understandable but still cheaper than me picking it up myself.

    We purchased a Villa in Florida in 2011. We stayed for a month and after we left, felt uneasy not having a security system. We contacted FrontPoint, and arranged for a security system to be shipped to a homeowner that lives in a nearby villa. We asked him to install the system for us since we were 1500 miles away. He said he was not very savvy with electronics but would do the best he could for an 86 old. He made one call to technical support and within a couple hours it was installed and working.     I became a FPS customer last year because we could finally get a security system that doesn't rely on a land line (remember those?). From the beginning, talking and ordering the system was a pleasure and the representative was EXTREMELY nice and patient with all my questions. When the system arrived, it was VERY easy to set up. I got it all set up within 30 min and activated within no time with a patient and knowledgeable representative from FPS. Then when I was moving they walked me through the steps and even emailed me the forms I needed to file with my local sheriff's office. All I had to do was to sign them and mail them (I didn't even know they were required let alone where to look for them).

    Finally, the iPhone app is GREAT! It gives you access to monitoring your system and it sends real time notifications. The website gives you a lot more flexibility and settings that then get pushed to the app. One thing I'd like to see in the future is more of those settings in the app instead of the website since we all use all cell phone for everything these days. Overall, I would highly recommend FPS as they are professional, friendly and trusted.

    When I was searching for a new security system, I was wary of going the online route or using anyone other than my previous service or ADT. But after doing research, I decided to try FrontPoint. So far, I'm very glad we made the switch. The value of the product and service is outstanding. The mobile app and online access are excellent. Luckily, we have not had a real emergency, but one day we had spilled some oil in the oven and smoke went everywhere. The alarm went off. I quickly put in my code and we immediately got a call to see if everything was ok. So from that, I think the response is great.

    I'm very handy, do some of my own construction so install was really easy for me as I had the tools I needed. I think even an average handy person would find the install easy and might only require a quick trip to the hardware store. The one thing I didn't know was that the recessed door mounts are blocked if installed in a metal door, or at least some metal doors. I had to swap one of mine for regular door/window sensors.

    We have had this alarm system for 2 years. It was easy to set up and I feel safe at home. I enjoy being able to keep up with everything on my iPhone - I can set the alarm if I forget when I leave the house. When we are on vacation, I can check that our friends have fed the dogs and remembered to set the alarm when they left. When we have had a false alarm, the response time is very fast. And when we have had system issues (like the control panel needed a new battery), the customer service rep stayed on the phone and walked me through installing the new battery. Highly recommend!

    When we were looking for an alarm system, we wanted something that would really make me feel safe and in contact with help in case of emergency. I love the Apps for smartphones; I like that I can check it anytime now, and set up the alarm even far away from home. I really enjoy the e-mails that make me feel secure and in contact in case of emergency.

    FrontPoint provides excellent service that is more affordable than many of the other big brands. They have been extremely flexible in changing contract length (from 1 to 3, to get a great discount). They support users buying their own components of the system (which saves lots of money), and provide direct help setting it up with the system! The monitoring service is reliable so far (1 false alarm, dealt with quickly). Finally, the control through Alarm.com app is hugely helpful! I wouldn't pick a different company.

    While I was skeptical as to statements of how easy system was to install... it was that easy. I bought the system for my daughter's new townhouse. The first day or two, I had questions concerning time needed to activate system, etc. and I found customer service to be very courteous and willing to take the time to answer all my questions. While my daughter was very reluctant to initially deal with a security system...she now loves it.

    I bought a house in Quebec, and immediately called FrontPoint about a system. Unfortunately, they do not operate in Quebec, Canada.

    When I considered a security system for my new house, I contacted several companies via the internet. I soon found out that it was a very competitive market and involved a lot of high pressure sales methods. Front point Security was by far the most pleasant company to deal with. Their sales staff did not apply the high pressure tactics of other companies. They did a great job of explaining all of the details of a security system and what was important to consider, which I appreciated, since I had never had a security system before.

    The whole process went exactly as they explained to me. They were able to tell me the best options to protect my home without trying to oversell me. The timing on the shipping was exactly what I was promised with no surprises. A faulty part was replaced immediately without question. Any questions that I had regarding installation, which was actually very simple, were answered immediately by a live person and I was up and running right away. I appreciate that they allowed a testing and training time to be sure that I knew the ins and outs of the system before going live. I love the ability to relay live updates and status reports directly to my e-mail and cell phone with any parameters that I set up. All of this at a price that was better than many competitors.

    The person who set me up was helpful. I would like more options to be able to disable one or more sensors easily and still engage the system. Maybe I'm missing something since I do not have a personal smartphone and the app may allow that.

    I am not happy with the key fob off/on for the system because there is no requirement to enter a code. I wanted these so I could have one in my basement for when I let my pets outside and need to turn it off to do so. It makes me nervous having it down there even though I've hidden it. Also if someone breaks in who knows their stuff, I'm sure they'd look in my purse for that fob and be able to disable the alarm system without the code. I also really wish FrontPoint would offer an affordable, quality set of cameras.

    I was happy when one of my sensors broke that FrontPoint sent me a new one with no cost or questions.

    I had to get a system asap due to personal security issues beyond the norm so I bought this system as the most highly rated. The monthly cost is too high, and it is for this reason I am not satisfied and may not continue long term.

    Our previous alarm company sold the monitoring portion to another company, then lost track of who they sold it to. So when we had a tech issue, they could not tell us who to call, even though we were paying for the service. FrontPoint, on the other hand does their own monitoring.     Pros: At the time I signed up with FrontPoint, I wanted the cellular monitoring. I was happy with the initial setup and did my own installation because it was super simple. I have been pleased with the very quick response time when I had a couple issues. They are very courteous. I love the smartphone app, how I can see my history, and assign codes to other users and monitor who is coming and going. I have had excellent experiences with the customer service sector.

    I have had the best experiences with my system. It has excellent monitoring services and on several occasions we have turned off our alarm from several states away for workers to get emergency access to our house. We were also able to monitor areas of our house when the workers were present. We were able to tell when our front door was accidentally left open by a worker, as well as access to an area of the house where they should not have been going. A quick phone call to the company and our peace of mind was restored when the front door was closed (and remained closed) while they were working. It is worth every penny.     We ordered an alarm from FrontPoint a year and a half or so ago. I decided to go with them because their system offered a feature that would alert the monitoring service if a criminal decided to smash your system. While you do need to install the system yourself, it is really easy. You get to keep every piece of hardware they send you even if you decide to have a company other than FrontPoint monitor your system after your contract expires (unlike some other alarm companies). Customer service is great, and it's really easy and relatively inexpensive to buy more hardware. Website is also very useful. Their service is compatible with Alarm.com so you can arm/disarm your system remotely. They also offer different plans for different budgets (we went for the "middle of the road" plan).

    First the customer service was very satisfactory. All of the service and product offerings were explained very thoroughly and most have been just as advertised. The alarm monitoring service at Alarm.com is also very prompt when an alarm is triggered and always extremely helpful and courteous. The only issue we have is the phone application does not work correctly. Though the app opens, it will not register the activity we select. We find that most occasions it does remotely arm/disarm but it is impossible to know if the remote feature is working or not. This happens on all of the phones in the family, so it is not due to the device. We also have both iPhones and androids so it is not the platform.

    We had our alarm in service for a month or so and were very happy with it and the service we had with FrontPoint during the setup and initial trials. We have about 8 door-window sensors, about 5 motion sensors and 1 smoke-fire alarm. We also have several conventional smoke alarms (good batteries and tested) in this residence, 1 in the Kitchen and 1 in the dinning room; 2 conventional smoke alarms are closer to the kitchen stove than the FrontPoint smoke-fire alarm I had placed in the center of the house. I had been heating some bacon grease to feed the cats and got called to the TV room. When the FrontPoint smoke alarm set the alarm off, I went to the kitchen and removed the pan before there was any real danger of fire. Just as I was getting things into order, FrontPoint called us to notify us of the alarm; neither conventional smoke alarm ever triggered!! The smoke-fire-alarm with this system is excellent. We have not had one false alarm; and we love the system and would recommend it to anyone.

If it gets too hot, too fast, it'll detect it. Our smoke sensors can work great by themselves or in tandem with conventional smoke detectors.

    I had experienced a power outage this summer that lasted close to 24 hours. I cannot say exactly how long my wall unit lasted, but it was not very long. And when the battery died, it just went dead... I was not notified by text, email or phone call. Since I thought I was supposed to get a call when this happened, I called support. The support had me open up the unit and check on plugs on the inside. Nothing seemed to be unplugged, but I recall being told to make sure connections were snug and we'll wait and see if the problem happens again with the next outage. I was dissatisfied because I felt that I should have been sent a new battery.

    After being robbed, my family looked into security systems and ultimately chose FrontPoint Security. We chose them because of their simple, do it yourself attitude, and the online/mobile offerings.

    I am fairly happy with the system. I appreciate the DIY installation and no hidden fees. We had a false alarm one time when a guest stayed over and customer service was really helpful. However, I am not too happy with the control panel and alarm.com. First, the control panel takes forever to arm the house when a window/door needs to be bypassed, especially when it is being armed through the phone and there is no bypass button. One time my sister who had the key to my house came in 5 minutes after I left the house and armed it - the system was still trying to arm the house because a few windows were open. It should not take that long. Another comment is that I noticed ADT, when the house needs to be armed, my sister press the button once, there is one beep and that's it. My control panel drags on with the beep and the voice telling us everything that is being done. I'm not sure if anything can be done about it because it gets really annoying. I tried going to control panel settings and decreasing the beep and speaker volumes to the lowest setting at 1, but that is still loud.

    One last thing, I think it would be great if Frontpoint creates a system where if a burglar comes in the house while we're home and forces us to disarm the house, there should be another disarm code where it's an emergency code to key Frontpoint know we're endangered yet the burglars will think we disarmed it because the alarm will shut off. But overall, I am happy with Frontpoint.

    Before we selected FrontPoint Security as the alarm system for our home and posessions, I spent weeks researching online to find what was available. I checked the pros and cons of each alarm company, the prices of their systems, and what the companies offered for the system and customer support. FrontPoint Security came on top for each category.

    The DIY setup was exceptionally easy and bringing the system online was effortless with Customer Support's assistance. You personalize it the way you want, protecting exactly what you want. And the system can be expanded at any time. This is useful if you're adding on to your house or want to include cameras or motion detectors later. And you can take the system with you if you're moving to a new location!

    Let's talk about peace of mind (isn't that why you'd get a security system in the first place?). I can access our entire alarm system from my Blackberry phone app and arm or disarm it, or check the log for when doors are being opened and closed. When the alarm is tripped (so far just a couple times for us, accidentally), I receive a text from the system, and a call from the FrontPoint customer service.

    One time while we were away, the power went out at the house. I received texts of the power outage, then shortly thereafter what percentage of FrontPoint owners in a two-mile radius were out, and another when the power came back on. And the alarm system was working the whole time! Because of its wireless technology, even when our phones are dead, our system is still working.

    If there were anything negative I could say about FrontPoint Security, it would be no local office for me to visit. The closest place is a couple hours drive if I wanted to meet the people who work with me to keep my home secure. But that hasn't prevented me from receiving excellent customer care and quick reponses from them. Thank you FrontPoint Security for helping me sleep peacefully at night, either home or away!

    My parents got Front Point for their home a few years ago, so when I bought my first home, I wanted to protect it by getting home security. I was, of course, bombarded by mail from other security services offering deals on security service and setup. The Front Point system was really easy. I talked for about 20-30 minutes with a representative to order the basic setup. It was shipped to me in few days and setup was a breeze. Someone walked through it with me on the phone and got it all setup in about 15-20 minutes. The cost of Front Point was better than the other security services that were offered in the area and if I ever move, I will for sure take the system with me. Adding additional security measures and services is easy as well, such as a key fob to remote arm and disarm the system or window sensors/garage door sensor. I've had my alarm go off by accident because my girlfriend tried to surprise me, but she got the surprise. Front Point called me almost instantly to inform me and to see if any assistance was needed. I would definitely recommend Front Point Security to others. The only reason setup got 4 stars was the door sensor lost its adhesiveness after a few weeks, but not the fault of Front Point service just supplier. Quick fix with some glue made it all good.

    I would always recommend FrontPoint as a security system, not only due to ease of use and the excellent customer service whenever I call, as whatever hour. However they also give me a surety that my home is safe when I am gone. My alarm has gone off several times (a couple of times due to the cat!) but once in while, as I live in downtown Tucson, very near the railroad tracks, I am always noticing travelers and homeless folk traipsing by my home.     Product feels a little overpriced. I would have been happier with a lower monthly fee and enough sensor bars to cover the windows on my first floor. The motion detector also does not seem nearly sensitive enough -- or at least does not cover enough area.
