For the most part it has been fine. We’ve had a couple of small issues with some of the equipment as far as it almost seemed like it malfunctioned a little bit, mainly the [IR] alarm sensors and they’ve gone off a couple of times with no explanation, possibly because we opened up a door to the outside and it was warm outside. It seemed like that might be too sensitive.

For the most part, I've had a pretty good experience with Frontpoint. The only issue I had is they tried to help me fix a century light at the house, and they couldn't really help me with that. Other than that, everything else has been fine. They're a very good company to work with.

I have used Frontpoint as our home security provider for three years. I had another one previously in another home. But with Frontpoint, I did the installation myself in 15 minutes; where everything else previously was hardwired. So it’s very easy and very intuitive. I also use their mobile app all the time. I have some family in the area and if they need to get into the house, I can easily remotely shut down the system and then turn it back on after they get what they need. So I like being able to monitor it when I’m away from home and make sure that nothing’s going on.
Fortunately, I haven't had many issues so my interaction with Frontpoint's team has been minimal. I’ve called them a couple of times as far as questions, and they’re very responsive. I’d recommend Frontpoint. It’s easy to use, flexible, and proactive. I feel more secure - not that we live in a high-crime area.

We've been using Frontpoint as our home security service provider for thirteen months. We chose it because it was rated highly on some websites that I looked at and I also wanted one that was self-installed. Installing the device was pretty easy. When I had a malfunctioning water sensor, I called their support team and they were able to guide me through that and eventually get a replacement. That was pretty easy and went pretty smooth. I also had some work done in my house so I went ahead and disabled the carbon monoxide sensor for 24 hours and that was also very easy. Frontpoint is very responsive and I am very happy with the system. I like a lot of the features it has so that I can verify things are working. Also having their sign actually makes me feel a little bit safer that it just deters.

I've been using Frontpoint for around a year now though we hardly ever turn it on. My mother had used ADT and had a lot of problems with them, so I didn't want to use ADT. Another selling point was that Frontpoint works for the cellular phone, so I just felt it would be easier for us and somehow more secure. Installation was really easy. The agents call to see if everything is okay and if we need anything. One time, the smoke from our cooking set off the fire alarm. The alarm was going off and the phone rang. That's how fast they were. I'm impressed with their response time and how nice everybody is.
Awesome! We do try very hard to make sure you're always taken care of with those fast response times coupled with reliable equipment and it's great to hear you love that about us.

Frontpoint is pretty straightforward and really simple to deploy, activate, and manage. I couldn't ask for anything simpler for the value. I got signage around the house. It's good. I recommend them all the time.

Installing the Frontpoint security device was very easy. I just called them when I changed the battery and they were great. The guy helped me out a lot. They've been very helpful when I needed help. I would put it on every time I leave the house and when we go out of town. Overall, it's very good.

I've had Frontpoint for about a year now. I had a couple of other security devices before that. This is altogether better, especially when you find out that these other companies have the same technology that Frontpoint uses and talk to you about but they don't tell it to their customers. They didn't tell me about it anyway. Most of the installation you do it yourself. You talk to Frontpoint and you tell them what it is you want. They send you the detectors out and you stick them up where you want and then after that, you call them and they check them and see if they can sense them and everything. It went real well. It was so easy. It was almost comical.
I haven't tried the mobile app but I need to write that down because I know that with that, I can tell anytime my wife goes in and out the house. Also there was never anything negative about the times I've had to call them. I've had to call them a couple of times to tell them I was going to be out of town and they're always upbeat and helpful. Every now and then we will have a problem where we get the alarm on when we didn't mean to. I would call them or they will call us. They'll send the information we want just like all of them and we get on that and there's never a problem, never a complaint that I've heard from them. My experience has been very pleasant. It's almost like having a conversation with them. When you call the guy, he tells you 'You know this is what we need to...', talk to you and find out about what your needs are. They send the stuff to put up, tell you how to do it and if you have any questions you call them, they're right there. It was just really a pleasant experience for something that important and something that you can do yourself.

It's been about 18 months since I have Frontpoint. Installing the system was really, really easy. I also use the Frontpoint mobile app and I like it. The team members from Frontpoint are very friendly and very helpful. I sleep better at night.

They promise loads of service and system compatibility on the sales call but the techs fail to deliver. After frustrating calls with techs who are reading from scripts, I went with a different company (LW) who has basically the same system, only newer and was considerably cheaper (both equipment and monitoring). I canceled the Frontpoint monitoring and sent the equipment back within the 30 days and while they said they would refund me and stop billing me for monitoring they are still billing for monitoring. Everytime I call about a refund they tell me it'll take a couple more days and are not very polite about it. I'm having to create a dispute claim with my CC about this.

I have used Frontpoint as my home security provider for about a year now. It was a little bit cheaper and a little bit more flexible compared to other services. Installing the device was fairly straightforward. Team members have all been great. Now I sleep better. Though I wish they had the ability to manage my account online. But overall, it has been pain-free.

I have had a pretty good experience with Frontpoint in the year or so that I've had it. Installation of the device was very simple and the ability to access and control the system on the go via the mobile app is really helping a need. I definitely feel better about the house being protected. The team helped me out on the initial purchase and setup as well as the battery going dead not too long ago. Other than the battery dying, I've had no real issues on them. So far customer support is great. When they get bigger, they shouldn't forget how important it is. Frontpoint is very easy to set up, very understandable, easy to manage, and a great peace of mind.

We're 100% satisfied with Frontpoint. I like the fact that I have instant feedback with my phone, so I know if people are coming or going. I like the way it's set up, different access codes for different people. I also use the phone to disable the alarm so it's good.

I came across Frontpoint when I was searching on the internet for security systems. At that time, it was ranked one of the highest. I've had it for almost a year now. The installation was very simple, exactly as described on the internet. That was one of the things that drew us to it. The staff were very professional and courteous. I once forgot to turn off the alarm system and walked in the house and went back out in the garage. My phone went off, wanting to make sure I was who I was supposed to be in the house. It activated as I had forgotten to disarm it when I walked in the house, and the rest is history - they called. I have already recommended Frontpoint to several neighbors. It is a system that is easy to install but very effective. It is a great deterrent and the staff are very professional.

I've used Frontpoint as my home security provider for a little more than a year now. I chose them largely because of the amount of positive feedback that was out there and customer satisfaction was higher with them than anybody else I could find. They weren’t the cheapest, but were very highly recommended. Installing the security device was simple, great directions and it did not take very long. And when I did contact them to activate it, it was topnotch interaction and they were very good about it. I use the mobile app at all times. It was one of the things I wanted and it’s absolutely essential for me. I want to be able to get real time looks into what’s going on with the house. There’s greatest security, when I’m gone or when the house is empty. The Customer Service has been absolutely topnotch. I’ve had a couple interactions with them for question and answers on minor adjustments and they’ve exceeded my expectations every time. Overall, Frontpoint is professional and has great customer service and it's easy to install.

A year ago after a break in, we determined our vacation home needed a security system. We had some challenges to overcome since the home is located in the woods. We have no access to cable or internet and have no phone so we required a system that was cellular. I needed it fast too. I called and the CSR was helpful and knowledgeable and shipped the system overnight. It was so easy to install! We noticed the intruders attempted to come back but got a big surprise when they return a couple days later and saw all the signs.
The system gives us peace of mind being hundreds of miles away. I love that I can set up guests online so our family has their own access to the house and I know when they arrive and when they reset the system (or if they forget). I also love that the system still works when the power goes out in a storm (or in the case of someone getting in and trying to destroy the system).
We received a call when our motion sensor had been tripped and also when my husband couldn't remember his code. I received a text (I set up online to get texts) that the system tripped and before I could get my code in to shut the system off I was already receiving a call from a CSR.

I first discovered Frontpoint through Angie's List. I had my Frontpoint security device installed last October 2014. Prior to this, I had ADT home security service. Frontpoint is more high-tech and easier to manage on our own. The installation was fairly easy and the customer service was very helpful. I've also tried the mobile app. I think it's very important to be able to access and control the system on the go. Since installing Frontpoint, I felt more comfortable and secure. It's definitely something I wouldn't want to go without, at this point. Frontpoint is the top-of-the-line and very up-to-date with technology.

I have used Frontpoint since September of 2013 because of my friend’s recommendation but also the iPhone app is sweet. I love my experience with them. Installing the security device was easy. We ran into some trouble with putting the door sensors on but we called and they walked us through how to do it, and sent us new parts after we broke the original ones cause that happens. Also the mobile app is great. I have it on all of my devices and it’s easy to use. Since installing it, there haven’t been any big changes in our daily routine except I have to remember to turn it on when I leave the house and at night. I would highly recommend Frontpoint.

What I love about front point
1. Smash and crash protection, if someone were to break in and immediately smash my panel to pieces the police will be dispatched immediately. Unlike all the other companies were you would be screwed if that happened.
2. Cellular technology the system wont be compromised if the phone line is cut or if the internet is down or taken down by a intruder.
3. It's wireless, no holes to drill, no wires to fish through walls, it's so easy to set up a young child could set it all up in just a few minutes. I can even take my system when I move!
4. Smoke, fire, flood, co2 and freeze protection does not cost extra! And neither does cellular communication!

We have Frontpoint for over a year. Installation was pretty self-explanatory and easy. I use the Frontpoint mobile app a lot. It's great because I've forgotten to do it a few times and I just do it right on my phone. Interaction with their representative was good. He answered all our questions. We're very satisfied and haven't had any issues.

We haven't had any trouble with Frontpoint at all. It's been quite good. We like the sensor that picks up the noise for glass breakages. We didn't have that feature before.

The salesman was extremely cooperative, polite, and informative. We purchased the basic, which was what we could afford and what we felt we needed, and installed it ourselves. Nobody had to come. That’s what made it so good! It was easy and the instructions were adequate. This is the first time we’ve ever had an alarm system and having Frontpoint makes us feel more secure when we're gone, because we’re way out in the woods. So far we’re pretty happy with the service. When the alarm was accidentally set off by our son, they were very cooperative.

It's been about a year and a half that we've used Frontpoint on this house. We have three houses with it now -- this house, the house right next door which we rent in the summertime and we have a house in another part of Massachusetts in which it was just installed recently. It's been fine. I have no problems. It's a good system, so I feel safe with it. I like the Frontpoint system better, being wireless and so forth, than our previous provider. It's easier to install.

I have used FrontPoint for over a year now. I called them and asked how to install the device. I had a little problem with one of my dogs. They gave me instructions and all the supplies I need. I tried the FrontPoint mobile app and it’s good. And when I called for anything, they are often very helpful. I feel secured when I leave the house. Excellent system and it’s highly recommended.

I was doing research online, looking for a security company and Frontpoint got a pretty good rating. I've them for a little over a year. We had another company before but they were charging over $100 while Frontpoint charges about $42. Installation was pretty simple. They sent it to me, I watched those how-to videos on my computer and installed them on to the windows and the room sensor. It's as easy as it said so on the video. We always use the system at night. We keep it off during the day but that will probably change once we get motivated to get it installed. We live in a pretty safe neighborhood so it was more for peace of mind for my daughter and my wife when they're home alone at night.
My interaction with customer service people was when they were selling me the system. They seem pretty pleasant and very nice. We did think about adding some new parts to it, like further window sensors for other parts of the house but it seems a little cost prohibitive. Adding secondary pieces seemed a little more expensive than I was anticipating. We haven't done that yet. I'd recommend Frontpoint. They're easy to install and true to what they say both on the website and on the phone when they talk to you.

Very positive experience. I'd like to mention the competency and courtesy of the technical support calls. They were all professional and I've been impressed that they have significant knowledge of the systems they're talking about. It's distinctly different because it's clear they're not just reading from a script. I would recommend Frontpoint without hesitations.

Overall experience with Frontpoint was good. I like the machine itself. I’m having trouble with it right now, but it works good.

I have been using Frontpoint as our home security service provider for about a year. The previous home security we've had was fine except that the price went up and I figured it was time for a change. I installed the Frontpoint device myself and they were on the phone with me and told me how to do it. Their team is very nice and very helpful. I had no problems doing it myself and when I had a problem, I called them up and they took care of things. I live by myself and since I've had both alarm systems, I don't worry about it. I trust the security system. Frontpoint is great.

I learned about Frontpoint when I did some research on the internet. I've used them for about a year and a half now. I had a different security service before and they offered me some options that the other didn't which is why I went to them. The installation was a piece of cake. I use the mobile app all the time and love it. We have several residences and it allows me to keep tabs on activity and I really enjoy using it.
Some of the interactions I had with the Frontpoint team had to do with connecting additional devices, some issues that I had with devices which have been resolved - just some technical issues and nothing of any great urgency - things that you go through when you set up a new system. The customer service team was very prompt, very professional and very knowledgeable. The whole reason we have a security system is to provide security while we're at the house and more importantly, when we're not at the house. Being able to monitor activity at the residence we're not at is more important to me than anything. Frontpoint has a great product and they're very professional.

I chose Frontpoint because I had more control of some of the options. Installation was a piece of cake. It was easy. It's been about a year and a half now since it was installed. We really like the security and being able to know what's going on at the house promptly. We've been pleased. Frontpoint is a business that takes good care of their customers. They're helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They know what they're doing and they're entirely professional. If I had any complaints about Frontpoint it would be that the personal app that came out seemed to work well and then they upgraded it and we have had occasional issues with it since then. They've changed the radio out. They've tried some things. I talked to them about it and pointed out to them that if they go online and look, that half of their customers are dissatisfied with the second version mobile app, I don't know if that's a helpful suggestion.

I researched online and found Frontpoint. The monthly payment and the positive reviews were what sold me. Installing the security device was very easy; everything was done in ten minutes. The mobile app was very easy to use as well. I bought a new keychain remote and another sensor, called them and they were very helpful. I feel more secure when I’m not at home. I’m very happy with the service and I’m going to continue for as long as I can. I recommend them to everybody.

I searched the web to replace an alarm system that my mother had, which was quite old. I found Frontpoint and bought one for my mother back on the East Coast and one for myself out here in Colorado. Installing the device was easy. I called up and whoever it was that answered the phone walked me through the additional. steps. If I’m going to have someone that comes over when I'm away, I’m be able to remotely disengage it using the mobile app and in that respect, it’s good. It all seems to work as advertised and I’m well satisfied with it. I would recommend them to a friend. It was a simple and easy experience.

A friend of mine purchased Frontpoint's system. I've been using it too for about a year now. I like the ease of setup and the Wifi technology requiring no wires. I use the mobile app all the time. It's a great feature. I have called for technical support and the people I've interacted with were perfect. They're very polite, extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

We bought a new home that is out in the country. We needed an alarm in case somebody tried to break in. I googled the best alarms in America and they rated Frontpoint pretty high, so that’s why I got that. I've had the service for a year and two months. Installing the security device was a piece of cake. The only problem we had was one of the units was bad, but they sent a new one right away.
My wife and I use the Frontpoint mobile app every day. Being able to access and control your system through your phone is awesome. You can know who’s coming in the house, who’s there when they open the door. It’s a must have. In terms of my interaction with the Frontpoint team, they were pretty good, very helpful and fast and honest. The only time I called was when one of the devices wasn’t working. After the installation of the system, I feel more confident leaving the house. When I go fishing and leave my wife alone, I feel more comfortable knowing that beside her, she has the dog and the house alarm. I feel more secure. They're awesome. The only thing I can say is everybody must have them. I’ll recommend them to everybody. They're just perfect. You can’t go bad.

I heard about Frontpoint through my daughter. I liked the features that my daughter has with her system and thought it would be good for us. I have them for about three years now. Installation was very easy and very simple. It didn't take much time at all. The fact that it is satellite-based, I don't have to have it tethered to any cables or anything in the house. I also use the mobile app. It's very convenient and it certainly allows me to use it wherever I am. I can use it to check what's been going on at the house while I'm away to make sure that I did activate the system. It's a very convenient feature to have. I feel more secured. The experience has been very pleasing and I'm quite satisfied.

I was told that the security system was going to be overnighted and this was the determining factor why I chose Frontpoint. But after I signed up for everything and committed to it, I didn’t get my package for five days. I was very disappointed in that. My house was broken into and I didn’t go to work until I had a security system in place. I had my pets and all of my stuff so I was worried about going to work. But that was what made me choose them even though it ended up not working out that way. I was very disappointed in that but I figured at that point, I would just keep Frontpoint.
When I called, nobody was too concerned. Installing it was very easy though. They installed it and they were fast and efficient. Once we had the alarm system, we felt we were comfortable being able to leave the house again. Because once the house was broken into, we felt we just always had to be home unless we had the alarm system.
There is one thing that I had an issue with but the tech people told me I was crazy. It was because of my door sensor. I have a very small house so I only have two motion sensors and one sensor for my door entry. That completes my security system. Over the summer when it was very humid, the door sensor wouldn’t set so I would have to continually bypass it to leave the house. This way just the motion sensors were working at the time. And when I called the tech support people, they told me there’s no way that it’s affected by heat and humidity. They told me I was crazy. But it’s really what it is. I conduct the experiments and the only common denominator in the whole thing would be heat and humidity.
I was a little turned off by the people that are there to help because he treated me like I was a child and I didn’t know what I was doing. I know it’s not everybody. It just happened to be that particular person I got on the phone that day. Despite that, Frontpoint service is quick. When an alarm is set up, it’s very efficient. There are a few employees in the mix that should be in a different department but I like the efficiency of the way Frontpoint runs. If my alarm sets off within a minute, my phone rings. I like that part of it.

I have used Frontpoint as my home security provider for a little over a year. They had a lot of positive reviews and I like the idea of not having someone to have to set up an appointment for installation since you have to install it yourself. I had a good experience when I called them to inquire about it. They were very customer service friendly and did a nice job of selling the product and their service to me. Installing the security device was really simple. It was up and running basically the night that we got it. It’s also nice to have the mobile app. It’s definitely something we were looking for as part of the package so that was important. I have fewer worries when I'm not around and my wife and my son are there. Their customer service is very strong and they seem to really listen and try to take care of the service. It's been a very good experience. They provided what you're looking for in all security systems.

I’ve been using Frontpoint for about a year. I like it better compared to my old home security provider. My husband installed the system and had little problem with it. One of the team members I talked to was very helpful and very knowledgeable about everything. My experience with them was very pleasant. Their device is a lot easier to set.

We've had Frontpoint as our home security provider for a couple of years now. We chose them because they seemed like they were up-to-date. Everything seemed modern and easy to use. The security device was really easy to install, systematic and nothing hard. The mobile app where I'm able to access and control our system on the go was always good. If I have any questions, the technicians are able to answer them. They were professional. One time a sensor went bad on me and they helped me rectify it and replace it. I do feel more secure with Frontpoint. It's a good system, easy to use and really reliable and great service.

I’ve been using Frontpoint as a home security service provider for about a year. It's cellular and there’s no Internet or phone on the property so that’s what drew me to them. Installing it was a breeze. I ask about further enhancements to the system online and they were prompt in getting back to me. The mobile app is great because I live 10 hours away from my property. I first heard about Frontpoint on the internet and have it for six months now. It's excellent and I had no problems at all. I had a pre-installed group of sensors from another provider and all they had to do was put in the box and the fire alarm system and other motion sensors. I like the fact that it's wireless and uses satellite coverage instead of wired which makes it harder to disable. I enjoy their mobile app and use it all the time. I like dealing with them because they are excellent to deal with. I talked to a representative when someone had taken my signs and needed a replacement of the sign. I had two sensors that went bad and they replaced them without charge. They've always been very, very quick to respond. I feel safer and more secure. Frontpoint is very enjoyable, very professional and has taken care of all of my needs regarding security.

I first heard about Frontpoint when I researched it online. I have used them as our home security service provider close to a year. This is the first one ever, and we’re 71 years old. I decided to use them because when I compared them with ADT and four others, the comments and the reviews were more positive. They had some negative reviews but not nearly as negative reviews as with the other companies. Installing the device was very simple, too. We also use their mobile app. It’s great and fantastic. Also, we had an alarm. One door’s alarm wouldn’t stop alarming, it was a faulty battery, and the team immediately sent me a replacement battery.
Since installing the device, it gave us peace of mind because we have so much expensive woodworking tools, then we have lots of keepsakes in our home, and there have been break-ins in our vicinity, and so we feel much more secure about leaving home. There has been a couple of occasions when we forgot and broke the barrier before disarming the system, and our phone rang immediately to say, “Are you okay? Who’s there? What’s going on?” They’re very responsive. I’d recommend Frontpoint. Overall experience was fantastic and great. We feel more secure, it’s very affordable, and they’re very responsive.

We've had Frontpoint for just over a year. We had another provider before and Frontpoint is below par. We have two dogs and two cats so we don't use the motion sensor because it sets off. Even though we're supposed to be able to use the motion sensor for the animals we have in the house, it doesn't work. There were also a time while we were away and we had the police show up when there was nothing. It just went off. There was nothing wrong with it. We had a hard time setting it up. The sensors for the doors, the sticky stuff, falls off. It doesn't stick to the door that well. So we've had a bad time with it. At this point, we don't really care about it. We set it just because we're alone. It's natural to set an alarm when we leave the house. Once we're done with this contract, we are not going back to Frontpoint. It is a terrible system.

I did an online search for wireless security system and chose Frontpoint because they have the easiest Customer support. I had a little difficulty installing the device at first but when I called tech support, I discovered that I have put the door attachments on the wrong side. They talked me through it and it worked fine after that. The team members are very positive and very helpful. I have the mobile app installed but have not used it except just to look at it.

I wanted to find the best alarm system and everything with Frontpoint has been positive so far. The only issue is the cost, it’s expensive but customer service is very good. If I forget to turn off the alarm, they call us within a couple of minutes. We had an issue with the battery and they took care of it quickly. So I’ve nothing bad to say about them. Their mobile app is good and the new one is way better than the old one. Frontpoint is professional and on top of things. We live in a safe neighborhood, but it’s nice to have the extra security and we worry less than we did in the past.

I purchased it because where I'm located, internet service goes out frequently. This one is not through the internet but through my phone service which doesn't go out. Installing the security device was very easy, and I love it that I can use it on the go, all the time because of its mobile app - I can lock and unlock the door from inside the car. Also now I don't worry quite as much about my main home and my cabin, especially the latter since it sits empty a lot through the winter. In addition, their customer service representatives were very helpful. When I called they answered my question right away.

I learned about Frontpoint online. I've had the security system for about a year already but prior to that I had another security system installed. Comparing the two, they're about the same. The only difference is that Frontpoint has the wireless feature. I have the mobile alarm app and it really works well. When we're out of town, we set the alarm and also check to see if we have maintenance people come in. It works really well and it’s very good. I like the product. It’s just that we moved to a house, so I don't use Frontpoint that much because the house came with its own alarm system. To sum up my experience, it was convenient. I had a good experience during the installation of the system.

It's been about 2 years now since I used Frontpoint as my home security service provider and it's very good. I chose them because it was wireless. Installing the security device was very simple. Using the mobile app, I can access and control the system with my car and with anything I can use. Team members are very efficient and polite. They take care of my problems very quickly. I had a break-in before and I feel very safe and secure now.

We've had an alarm system for over 30 years in different homes. I’ve had Frontpoint for maybe a year. We installed it and it's been functioning fine ever since. It's nails-less. The mobile app is very simple and easy to use. Their team is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The system functions as expected so we're pleased.

I was looking for an alarm system and I did a search online and I liked Frontpoint's solution the best. I've had them for about eight months now. Installing the Frontpoint security device was very fast, very simple, plug and play basically. I use their mobile app and I love that I'm able to access and control my system on the go. I just feel more secure at the house, especially with my family there. Overnight, I feel when the alarm is on and the house is locked down, I sleep better. I'm just very happy with the alarm system. They're fantastic. I've recommended them to three other people so far and all three had gotten the same alarm system and everybody has had good feedback.

We just finished our three year contract, most of which we were unable to actually turn on the alarm due to false positives. These started on day one of installation, but we got it for Christmas and therefore, didn't install until after Christmas the first year, so the "trial period" was up prior to the installation. We called multiple times to try to resolve the problems. They sent several replacements and then, we were required to buy a different type of sensor. After more trouble, they offered to bypass sensors but it does not make my house secure unless all doors are monitored. I am just glad the three year contract is finished, so I can stop wasting money for an unusable service. We tried to call and give our 30 day notice today. They verified our identity by phone just like they do for an alarm, but you have to give notice in writing... Another ploy to try to get people to keep substandard service? I will not use them again or recommend them to anyone else due to the troubles we have had since day one. The one positive is the people are nice. Unfortunately, that is not worth a monthly fee for a service we couldn't use.

I was with ADT and changed landline carriers to the cable but they didn't offer it with that landline company. I've now been using Frontpoint for over a year and a half. I feel secure with the system.

I had another provider before Frontpoint. I wasn’t able to use the other one on my cell phone so I switched over. So far, so good, I have no complaints. Installing it was easy. I didn’t have any problems, and every time I called for help, everybody was willing to help. I have the app on my phone where I can arm and disarm my home from another location and I like it. I’ve talked today about getting a camera for the front door and possibly getting another box for the upstairs so that I can arm or disarm from there. Or if there’s a fire, I don’t have to run all the way downstairs to hit the button. I was waiting for them to come down on the price a little bit before I order another box. It’s been great. I love it and I like the idea that when I move, I can take my equipment with me and hook it up in my new location. That’s what I like most about it.

I was looking for a home security provider and saw Frontpoint online. I have been using it for over six months now and feel more safe and secure because of it. However, one time the alarm went off and we talked to them over that. They hung up on me because I didn't give them the right code.

It's great to hear that we have been very responsive and it sounds like our monitoring station called you about an alarming event and asked for your passcode. This is a word or phrase you pick out that you must give to our Support Team and the monitoring station to verify that you are who you say you are. If the incorrect passcode is given we will simply say thank you, end the call, and dispatch the authorities. This is to protect you in case there is a burglar with you or pretending to be you, because at the end of the day your safety is our top priority! I saw an advertisement about Frontpoint on the internet. I have used the alarm system for about a year and a half. I decided to use it over another service provider mainly because of the ease of installation. It’s fantastic working on the Wi-Fi. My wife uses the Frontpoint mobile app all the time. And that is because I live in two different states. We’re taking care of two houses until we retire, and it makes it easy. When I did the installation, we had everything done in about 10-12 minutes. I also have had them ignore anything, any alarm that was set off in our house when we had workers in, and that was convenient. We don’t let them touch the alarm; we get on them remotely and we turn it off when they get to the house. We know when they leave so we can turn it back on overnight, and it’s nice. It’s the most convenient and user-friendly system that I have seen. I have one in downtown Florida on a different system and I have one at work. And my Frontpoint up in Tennessee works faster and better than any of those.

I’ve had Frontpoint now for a while. Installation went relatively easy. It came with good instructions. They did a good job of preparing me to install it. I like the mobile app. In fact, I have found that if I want to let somebody into the house while I’m out traveling, I can turn it off and back on, and feel pretty comfortable that it’s working well. Frontpoint is peace of mind for me. I’m out of town for days on end and it’s nice to be able to know that something’s watching over the house. They are a very professional company.

After I got broken into, I decided it was past time to get a security system and I went looking on the Internet to see. I knew about some of the others then stumbled on Frontpoint and read all their information and I thought, “This is the way to go.” I decided to use them because of the reviews, and the ease of setting it up with their salesman. Installing our security device was a piece of cake. You make the order and they send you the equipment. You put it up and call them to get it activated and checked out, and that went very smoothly. It assures that if somebody decides to break in when I’m not here, the people will get called right away. I haven’t had any occasion to use it and haven’t had any false alarms. I’m satisfied with them and have used Frontpoint going on a year now.

I was doing some research for my home security system and I came upon Frontpoint. They were rated very highly on the Internet. Being able to access and control my system through my phone is one of the reasons why I purchased it. It was very easy installing the security device and I have their Frontpoint mobile app on my phone. It works very well for me. I’ve had opportunities to call customer service quite a few times. Every time, they give me the correct answer. They’re also very courteous. Frontpoint is ideal. I have a great value and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to somebody else.

We didn't have home security before but installing the device was a lot simpler than I thought it was. We just had to learn to turn the system on. It comes on after we've gone to bed and then I have to wake up and turn it on. It does have a reminder that it sends you in the email saying "you haven't turned it." That little nag has been necessary a few times. Anyway, Frontpoint gives superior service. They've been very helpful. They assisted me in changing password and sending me a new battery when we had a signal from the machine's panel showing that the battery was low, which did not make any sense. They are also very security conscious. If you don't remember your whole password, you have an issue to deal with and I like that.
I decided to use Frontpoint because of the overall reviews, third party non biased commentaries I saw online when I did a research for home security systems; and the ease of service, being able to set it up myself and being able to rely on the fact that it was locally monitored. It's been about a year now since I installed it. I have recommended it to a friend, and he has installed it. And then, he recommended it to a friend and he's installed it too.

I have used Frontpoint as my home security provider for a year and a half. I chose them over other home security providers because I can get it totally interactive with myself and don't have to depend on somebody else. The installment was done in about 45 minutes and I've used their mobile app ever since I put it in. I love being able to access and control my system from my phone. I use my Frontpoint security device to monitor the cameras in the door and window - the sensing systems. Most of my interactions with the Frontpoint reps were about changing what's loaded on the system and to validate some issues with the cameras. I've had three or four warranty replacements. The reps are knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions and were able to get my situation resolved. It's very easy and I haven't had any trouble with any of them. They're all very good. I've had a very good experience with the company.

I have been using them for at least a year now. Installing the device was easy and the mobile app is easy to use. I love that they have a remote control for my keychain. I have been using Frontpoint for two years. I had researched it and thought that it was something that I'd like to have. I had no problems installing it. I like their app where I can access and control my system on the go. The system is working as designed and I do use it frequently when I'm away for a prolonged period of time. I had a concern once about testing my motion detection devices so I called their team and they were very friendly. I have a very good experience with them.

We were looking for security systems and we ran across Frontpoint online. We did it and we love it and now we've had them for a year or two. I enjoy the system and it's great for me. Installing the device was very simple and once I had installed it, I had to call the number so they could just activate everything. From that point until right now, it's perfect. I started using Frontpoint a little over a year ago. Installing the security device was extremely easy. Also, using the mobile app is very easy. I once had an issue with one of the sensors and talked to somebody at tech support and they were able to resolve it right away. I had a sensor that was mounted in a bad spot. They just gave me directions on other locations to put it in. They're always really helpful and you don't have to wait on hold for eternity, like other places. I'm very happy with their service.

I like the ease of installation. It’s pretty simple. I knew what I was getting into, so I just looked it up online, thinking I could figure it out. Another thing I really like is being able to control things from my phone. It’s kinda cool. But I wish they would create their own branded experience. Because they use alarm.com as kind of like their vendor. Anyway, I feel more secured now that I have more control over my home. I've had it for about a year now. It's great. But the main thing that really sticks out to me is their customer service. I have no problems calling them and getting help from them, so I feel taken care of. They've been really great.

I got on all the rating services for security systems. Frontline was up at the top, so I thought that must be the one, so I signed up. We have a sensor on the back of the garage; it leads out to the patio, and another door leads into the house. We keep forgetting that if we set the system alarms on the garage, that back door out to the patio is gonna set it off. We drove out and got looking in the back door and it was unlocked, so my wife got out and fixed it and opened the door while she was locking it up, so that set if off inside but we didn't hear it. So when we took off, that thing was ready to explode in a minute. Now what we did was put a big sign on the back door that says 'alarm', so we don't do that anymore. But the darn thing works.

I like that you can turn it on and it works. But I don't use it that much because we don't go out so far. Unless I go out two or three days or over a period of time I'd turn it on. It's now on and will be for two or three months. I won’t be home for a while.

I discovered FrontPoint when I was searching online for home security service providers and I've been using them for almost a year now. I've had other security providers prior to them, but I like FrontPoint substantially better. The installation of my security device was very straightforward and allowed me to be hands-on like I wanted. The team members at FrontPoint were always very helpful and prompt in resolving issues.
I use FrontPoint's mobile app daily and the home security system helps my children in getting into the house. It's technically convenient and performs 100%. In fact, I have recommended them to friends, and some of those friends have signed up. I hope they do not increase their price because it's excellent right now.

Up to this point, it has been fantastic, excellent. It was very easy to get connected, to work and I've been able to access it on and off. The only thing I had was I switched cell phones and I've been unable to download the app on my new cell phone so that I can turn it on and off from the outside. So I just got to turn it on, rush out the door and turn it off quickly when I get back in.

Frontpoint security system has been very good. I signed up with them about a year ago because I liked their options for Wi-Fi instead of running a bunch of wires and things through the house. Installing the device has been very quick. I called the helpdesk and within five minutes, it was up and running. They were very helpful. They knew exactly the inside and out of their system and they pinpointed where to place the sensors on the doors and windows. Now it's very easy to monitor on the Internet. It's been good peace of mind. I would recommend them to all my friends if they were looking for a security system.

I did extensive research on the internet for about six weeks before we closed on our home, and Frontpoint had been rated the highest in customer satisfaction. I had never heard of them before, but I went with them because I couldn't find a single bad thing written about them on the internet. We have them for 12 months now. Installation was extremely easy. It all comes in a box. They had already pre-tested my house for my addresses to the cellular signal. We just opened the box, plugged in the main board, the control panel, and around the house put the things up. It was all very, very easy, and then you call their helpline and they turn the whole system on. They offered a test period of about a week, but I didn't want a test period because we hadn’t physically moved into the house yet. So we went live immediately. It’s been a fantastic system.
We use their mobile app all the time. Being able to access and control the system on the go is fantastic. We've also had a lot of interactions with their team throughout the year, and every time, they've been extremely professional and very helpful. We thought their video surveillance was not good, it had too many flaws. I was well past my time frame of when I could return it but they took everything back, no questions asked. They're very, very helpful whenever you call.
It’s nice to know we have the best security system. This is our first time living in a home outside of an apartment. We came from living in New York City so this is important for us. We have peace of mind when we leave our home every day that it’s as secure as could be. We have so many different sensors for smoke, carbon monoxide, glass breaking, and we have a lot of their systems put up in our house, so we're very, very satisfied with the security that we feel. It’s been fantastic. Their customer service is topnotch and the product works very well.

My son had Frontpoint service in his house in Ohio and so I got one for my house as well under a year ago. We liked that it was wireless and less expensive. Installing the device was not a problem. We plugged it in and put all the little things where they were supposed to go, and then we called Frontpoint. There was no problem whatsoever. I have the Frontpoint mobile app and like it a lot. I use it when I come and go to turn the alarm on and off. I like that I get emails or text notifications if something happens - usually it’s because I walked in and set it off and forgot.
The people that we talked to were very helpful. They didn’t try to take advantage of us and make us get more than we should. They were very honest about asking about rooms and different things and really worked to get what we needed. They even gave us all the discounts that my son got and that was pretty incredible. When I’ve had to call in for anything else, they’re very polite and kind. With this in my house, I feel better and calmer. I drive the school bus and come home alone a lot during the day. We live in a neighborhood but there’s nobody behind us but woods so it gives you a little more peace. It’s definitely satisfying and pleasant and we have recommended them to people.

I told my son who's a professor at a university in South Carolina that I needed some kind of a security system so he researched on it and came up with Frontpoint. I'm not sure I'm running it the way I should be running it but it's been great. The installation was a piece of cake. During the installation phase I had questions, I called and they were easily answered. They took their time, they were friendly and very helpful. I feel safer whenever I turn it on and when I leave to go to the grocery store or some other place - that way my wife would be protected. I could call them whenever I feel I should - I haven't done it but I would feel comfortable doing it.

I have had Frontpoint as my home security service provider for about nine months. I like the way the system operates and works. I liked the idea that even if they smashed it, the signal is already sent. I didn't have any problem installing the security device. I followed the instructions and everything went up. I feel secure that nobody is going to get in here and if they do, they'll get caught. It's great.
You're right! It is because we use special crash and smash technology, even if someone wanted to break apart your panel an alarm signal would still get to the authorities and you would be safe. I've had Frontpoint almost exactly a year now and got them because I like the ability to customize their services and I can set it up myself. I ran into one tiny problem but had somebody on the phone with me the whole time I was working with it, so it was really a good situation. They were great and very patient, waiting for me to try different things. They stayed right there on the phone with me as I was looking for things to make it work. I love the mobile app - another reason why I went with Frontpoint. We also got the video cameras and I love it. I've got one framed at the front window so I can watch the front of the house. It's really nice to be able to do that. We don't have windows on the first floor that you can look out, so I can just pull up that camera and see what's going on in front of the house. The experience was easy and convenient, and they've been very responsive.

My experience with Frontpoint has been really good. The installation was really easy; it's nice to be able to do it on your own. There was one sensor I had an issue with, and when I called, they were really friendly and easy to address. I enjoy having the ability to access it online. We have a second home, so we have Frontpoint in two homes. If someone goes to our second house and we're not there, it's just a nice and easy way to turn the alarm off so someone can do work in our house. The online portion alone makes it very easy to manage.

I have it for nine or ten months now. There is not much comparison with my old provider. Frontpoint is by far better, more options and I feel more secure with it. I feel more comfortable that my house and family are protected and I can monitor it all the time. The installation was very simple. It's a DIY project and I use the mobile app all the time. It's one of the reasons I went with that system. Their customer service is awesome. They answer my questions. I had little issues with one or two sensors and they sent me new ones. They have been fabulous and have given excellent service.
We are sorry to hear that your previous security provider was unable to meet your security needs, but we're glad that you did your research and found us to be the best protection for your home. We believe that the combination of having a great customer service department paired with reliable and new-age technology is what sets us apart from anyone else out there. I went online looking for a new security company and saw that Frontpoint has high customer satisfaction rating. I did have a different security provider but Frontpoint is better. I've had them now for a little over a year. I was able to do the installation and myself, with Frontpoint over the phone. They send you a self-install package and you get to call somebody and that person walks you through every step. They're patient about it and stay on the phone with you until you get it done, and I really like that. I didn't have to have a technician come out and do the work. I also have the option of upgrading my system without having to have somebody come out.
I use the Frontpoint mobile app regularly. I love that I can look it up online. I can deactivate/activate the system, I can see if it's been activated, I can tell exactly what alarm was tripped or triggered. Since installing the security system, I do spend more time outside of the home now. My home is in Pennsylvania and I work in New York City - I don't have to wonder. My system is up and running. I could just go online and use the mobile app. I know it's armed and I have no questions about if anything's been triggered. I also like that the unit I have didn't need a home line. It's not dependent on my home's Wifi or anything like that.

I heard about Frontpoint when I moved into a new home a little over a year ago and started doing some searching on the internet about wireless security systems. I actually tried another security system but returned it. Frontpoint's service is better. I installed it within my entire home without any help in under half an hour, just by the instructions. It's very, very straightforward and simple. I called them to activate it and they gave me a little bit of tutorial on the keypad. I use the mobile app almost every night and it's great. I'm comfortable that it's doing the job that I want it to do and particularly the fact that I was able to put it in myself and didn't have to open up any walls or run any wires. They also have terrific customer support. You get them very quickly and they make sure they solve whatever question or problem you're calling about.

I have used Frontpoint as my home security provider for about a year now. I had another security provider before but this one is a lot better. They are responsive and they answer calls. I have somebody to talk to and they send emails. During installation it was a little hard to customize it for the architecture of our house because we have a very old house, a hundred year old house, but they were very helpful on the phone. They sent out and returned the wrong pieces without charge and sent out the right stuff and I got the right kinds of adapters or security things and they walked me through it. They help you make it work. It's not like you'll buy it then you have it and it's your problem.
The security system does what it's supposed to do. We had very ill technology like 30 year old devices or security system and they never came to help up great. But this one we have the confidence that it's working. We know it works because we have some house work being done and somebody was doing plumbing in the bathroom and out in the hallway and the smoke detector went off. BTW you can turn the security system off and on using the app which is very easy to use. It's fantastic.

I like Frontpoint. I'm very happy with them. Installation was pretty easy. The customer service was great. The lady stayed on the phone even though they were closed to help me set up my cameras. My father-in-law ordered from Frontpoint because of us.

I saw Frontpoint on the internet and have been using it for about a year. We were doing a lot of travelling that's why we went ahead and signed up for the service so we could keep track. I chose them because of its wireless service. We are happy with the service and it's pretty reasonable as well. I have referred a few friends to them.

I've had my security system from Frontpoint for a year now. I installed the device myself and it was very simple. I really like the mobile app a lot. It lets me know when doors open and when they shut and if we leave a door open, it reminds me to shut it. I only had a chance to interact with their team during purchasing and they were very helpful. Since installing the security device, I feel a lot safer and more confident everything will be taken care of at home when something happens.

I like Frontpoint however the back up battery didn't last long when the power went out at my house the other day.
We appreciate your feedback, and the great thing about that battery backup is that it lasts a full 24 hours after your electricity fails. In order to make sure your battery is charging properly you want to make sure you keep it plugged in at all times. We are happy to see that after you experienced this battery issue, we were able to assist you in getting a new battery and then tested it to make sure it is working properly now. We decided to use Frontpoint because there was an incentive on Angie's List and it also seemed very easy to install. And when we talked to their salespeople, they were extremely helpful, and it was reasonably priced. We've had it for roughly a year now. I use the mobile app all the time, but every time we have a storm of any sort, I have to uninstall it and reinstall it. For some reason, an electrical storm seems to knock the app out so that it doesn't work. I've added a few security features and other windows and doors and I had one of my doors break and the team at Frontpoint has always been very pleasant and helpful. I found them very good.

I like Frontpoint real well. I like the fact that it's all wireless and you set it up yourself. The other companies come and do it for you. I got the top package, it's $49.95 a month, but I got peace of mind. You can see everything from your phone if you have a smartphone. And they're knowledgeable and always helpful. Whenever I call them and I didn't understand something, they walk me through it. There's no pressure to do what you don't want.

My experience with Frontpoint has been fine. They were very helpful in selecting the type of equipment needed. It was very easy to install. The instructions were pretty clear and when I did have a question, they were very helpful in answering the question during the installation process. I haven't had any issues since I had it installed a year ago. I really haven't had to contact them since. The only thing I don't like about it is the requirement to do a three-year contract. It's becoming an antiquated business practice. I like their customer service and the ease of installation. But I would also caution people to look at competitors because if there's someone out there who can do something equal as Frontpoint and they don't have to sign a three-year agreement then go with that.

My experience with Frontpoint has been great. One time, the little sensor thing fell off my door. They called me immediately and I said, "I thought I hadn't been able to buy a more sticky stuff for it" and they said, "Well, you think that's what it is but we'll send somebody by there just to make sure." I thought that was good. Even though I really didn't think there was an issue, they still sent someone out there.

Good news. This is my first system and it took some research in choosing. I am pleased with the whole operation from home set-up to the response call center. I have confidence in the system and peace of mind while away from home or while home and the system is armed. Oh, the good news. I can add to my home protection with sensors, cameras, light timers, heat & cool control. I can monitor my system from my computer or mobile iPhone. It has been a great investment in prevention and security for my family and our home. Tech support is awesome too. They take time to work through any issue or questions, especially as a new user. Great choice!

So far, Frontpoint is very good but I haven’t been robbed. I've had them as my home security provider for less than a year. I chose them because I can put it in myself. It was very easy and it went through without a problem. I feel safer and more secure. I use their mobile app all the time. The other day, my credit card was compromised, so I had to change that and they got right back to me so that was good. The only negative thing was that I had to call them to change my method of payment. I couldn’t do that online but they said they’re working on it.

Compared to our previous home security I like the Frontpoint better, it's wireless (with ADT you need to plug it into your cable line) and installing the system was pretty straightforward. Mobile app works for the most part. I've only had a couple of glitches with it, but it usually works. It's a great security system, overall. We've had it for about a year now and we feel more secure. One time our alarm had gone off and we didn't know who had actually tripped our alarm, but it was one of our relatives. They took care of it and there was no problem.

I had a second break-in into my house which prompted me to use Frontpoint. It's been a year now since installing it. It's great and the Frontpoint mobile app is priceless. However when installing a part, if there were any, the business hours of when you call to activate go well into the night short of being 24 hours. So I get home late and I had the box and I got everything glued in there but I have to get up early the following morning because the hour is a little short. But other than that they have always been very helpful and very pleasant. I wanted more stickers, I asked and they accommodated. And it's great that they didn't charge me extra. They gave me another five... priceless.
Overall I'm happy with Frontpoint Security. The only time I looked at their competitor is when I’ve noticed that their competitor include the signs like theirs but has a solar-powered LED light. That is really cool and I said, “Wow, I could’ve gotten one of those, huh?” They have the same box, the same voice response, the same magnet sensors, literally identical. But that’s something that I didn’t have on mine.

We have been using Frontpoint for six months. We chose it because it was cellular-based and not hardwired. Installation was very easy. Their people were very helpful. Everyone I talked knew the system and tried to help me out. I put it in two different houses. I spend six months in Virginia and six months in Florida, so it gives peace of mind knowing that the house that was empty was protected. And they're very, very helpful people. I had a couple of issues with some sensors and we were able to get it resolved very quickly. It's very beneficial to end user.

I've used Frontpoint for about a year and a half. Installing the device was very easy. That kind of system is hard to set up obviously but you just stick it on and you plug it in and then you call them. I use the app on my phone because sometimes when I get out of the house, I forget to lock it up and it works fine. We live way out in the country and we don't really have big crime issue out here but more and more you hear about it. People getting their homes broken into because they are way out in the country and there's nobody around in there so it gives you a certain amount of peace of mind. I like it and recommend it. I was very pleased with the whole installation and purchasing experience. It was good.

I am very satisfied with Frontpoint. I've had a couple parts need to be replaced and you're very fast on that. And we've only had the alarm bell go off once and that's because the pet set it off. We have two cats roughly 20 pounds and another ones 11, 12, 15 pounds. They must have got right next to each other and both moved at the same time. The police showed up and they looked in the window and say "I think the cats did that". They told me 40 pound animal would be the lower limit but somehow they managed to fool it. But everything worked the way it was supposed to. You guys might want to maybe tweak your description on the size of an animal that can trip a motion detector.

I first heard about Frontpoint through the internet. I have used them as our home security provider for nine months now. Looking at them online and going through the different security places, it looked like they had the best deals and they're a cellular-based security system instead of a landline-based. We use their mobile app every day. I like it. It’s very easy to use. Also, installing my security device was very simple.
There were just a couple of times when I had trouble with some of the monitors going off. I called them up and they walked me through the problem and took care of it within five minutes. They’ve just been very good. Anytime I ever called with a question or any kind of concern, they’ve always been able to answer them and I’ve never had a problem with them. Overall, I’d recommend Frontpoint. It is a very good company to work with.

We've had Frontpoint for about a year now. It's wireless so we didn't have to do any wiring in the house. The installation was very simple and it was just a matter of connecting with the monitoring service. We use the Frontpoint mobile app and we like it. We are able to control our system while on the go and whenever we want to activate it, we can do so and we feel secure having it. Frontpoint is easy to install and easy to use.

We were out there looking for a security system and Frontpoint had the best deal. We did the installing ourselves. Everything was shipped to us and then my husband took care of putting everything up. We like being able to access and control our system using our phone. And when we had some issues, my husband would talk to them a couple of times and they were friendly and able to answer all of our questions. Our overall experience with them has been good. We haven't had any issues to date.

I’m still under contract with another home security service provider but I went ahead and installed Frontpoint in my home. Without a doubt, they are leaps and bounds ahead of the other company. Installing was easy to do and they were on the phone with me, guided me through the rest of the final setup. I use the Frontpoint mobile app all the time. It’s great being able to access and control your system on the go. The staffs are like the best of any company that I’ve ever talked to/had to deal with. And, it has made a complete difference in my day-to-day life. In fact, they caught the criminal when they broke in the last time. It worked perfectly. It was remarkable.

I searched for security systems online and found Frontpoint. I chose them because of the credit checks. Another provider was asking for a higher credit score than Frontpoint. It's very affordable, compared to other companies where they want you to get into a five-year contract. With Frontpoint, they only ask you for at least three years. I use their mobile app all the time. The app that allows you to access and control system on the go is the best thing you can ever have because if you have to rush out of the house, you just let it go and go out.
We live in a very secure neighborhood, but pretty much most of the households in the neighborhood have an alarm system, so I'm very satisfied and confident with the system, knowing that everybody else has a security system. I feel more confident no one's gonna be looking around. So far, so good; everything's just normal, so I'm very satisfied with Frontpoint. Overall, it's a great security company. I've had one alarm and they contacted me right away, so I'm pleased with their service.

One of my friends has Frontpoint and he liked it a lot, and recommended it to me when I moved in to a new house last year. I had it for around nine months. I haven't had any problems with FrontPoint. I just moved recently so I disconnected it from the old house. I'm moving to another house where I don't really need it and haven't hooked it back up yet cause I just moved yesterday. I'm trying to see if somebody will take over my lease because I didn't realize I was in such a long lease. But I've never had any issues with them.
I like the fact that it connects to the cell phone and they do automatic debit. I love their mobile app. The equipment was fine. I never had a problem with it. It’s a great system. I like being able to access or control your system on the go. That’s one of the reasons I got it. My friend mostly did the installation of the system ‘cause he had already done his and it was not difficult. It was pretty self-explanatory. And every time I had to call to ask a question, they were prompt and helpful. Overall, Frontpoint is reliable, easy to access, easy to use, great product and company.

I learned about Frontpoint through an internet search. I decided to go with them because of the fact that they had cellular technology without an extra cost. The cost was similar to others but they had that extra feature. Installation was really easy, the customer service is great. It's quick and painless.
We feel safer with the Frontpoint security system in place. It feels a lot better when you're the only one in the house or you're the only in the house with the kids. I check it occasionally on my own just to see what's going on. It gives an overall better idea of what's happening in the house. And it has a nice little alert if you leave the door open or one of our kids does. It's a really great solution for us. I sometimes travel or my wife travels so it's really nice to have the Frontpoint security system. That's a big benefit for us. I love being able to access and control my system on the go, I use it all the time.

I was initially pleased with Frontpoint. However during the course of the contract I was quite disillusioned with the service and attitude of the people. I was given access to the system and it is supposed to reflect the settings on my system but it did not do that. It did not report the correct settings. My motion detector on my porch kept going off but every time I looked at it, there is nothing that would set it off. The place is locked and set down for winter and there is no indication of anybody coming in. It irritated me because I couldn't trust what I was seeing. They didn't do anything.

I have used Frontpoint as our home security provider for a year now. Installation of the device was very easy to do. We use Alarm.com which is the Frontpoint mobile app and we love that we're able to access and control the system on the go. Every now and again we'll give them a call and say "I don't think it's working right" and they always come up with a solution and it always works. We have more peace of mind every time we leave the house. We have 2 dogs and I always worry about them being caught in the house if there's a fire or if somebody breaks in and lets them out. It gives us peace of mind that if anybody ever breaks in or a fire goes out, we will be notified. We wouldn't trade their service in for the world.

About a year ago on October, my house was broken in to. It's my father's house but I am living here and he had to move away to take care of my mom. So he did some research online and found out about Frontpoint, we set it up and we've been happy ever since. Installing the security device was extremely easy. I had no problems or whatsoever. We talked to a gentleman on the phone and turned it on that day. We are extremely happy with Frontpoint. It is awesome! We have nothing but good out of it. I moved in with my girlfriend and we are in the process of selling the house. I talked to her and we are going to take the system from this house, put it in my name and keep using it.

I have Frointpoint as my security service provider for six months. It's very easy to install but the problem is that it's very easy to forget how to use it. I'm going to use the mobile app when I'm moving but I don't need it for now. I've called Frontpoint several times and I've got good service. Having Frontpoint makes sense because crime is very serious. I live in a good neighborhood but when the house is empty, usually people are trying to come in and take out the appliances.

In the process of moving, my book got misplaced and I didn't have the information as to how to get in and change my password and things like that. So I had to call them for different stuff. I had problems getting through them at first but then eventually after I explained to them I have a problem getting through it seemed like I didn't have that problem anymore, and they finally sent me a book.
So far I'm satisfied with Frontpoint. They have been our home security service provider for about a year now. I had Pinnacle previously and didn't really use the service because I had a disabled person and she didn't know how to turn the system on so I didn't deal with it. But with Frontpoint, it was much easier for her to push the button and she's on her way out the door.

I learned FrontPoint from one of the guys I work with and it's been a little less than a year since we have it. I like that I could simply install the equipment myself. I didn't have any problem doing it as it only took a few minutes. Also I can take it from one house to another and I can add features if I want to. The mobile app is cool. I use it all the time. It's pretty slick thinking that you can control your system while on the go. I like it and generally we feel safer with it. Our cat set off the motion detector and they're good about calling right away. It's less likely to have anybody break in. If anything should go on there while I'm not there, I'd probably know about it and be able to get the police there. It's very good. I would recommend it.

I have used Frontpoint for about a year now. I think it's easier to make changes in the system with Frontpoint compared to the old security system that I had. Installation was simple and the mobile app is good. Sometimes I open the door and forget about it but it's been great. It's definitely much easier to use the alarm system with the mobile app. I have talked to a couple of tech supports and it's been great. I had a sensor that wasn't working and they helped me troubleshoot it and replace the sensor. It's reassuring to have the system always checking the doors and windows for me. Overall, they offer good customer service and easy system setup.

I first heard about Frontpoint through Yelp, reading reviews. I had them as our house security provider for under a year. The main reason for choosing Frontpoint was it’s wireless. There’s no actual wiring connection to the house. I can take it wherever I want to basically. Installing the device was very easy and they were very helpful as well. The team were all super friendly and super helpful, very quick to respond. From the beginning, everything was just very, very good. Also, I use their mobile app all the time. It’s very user-friendly. I’d recommend Frontpoint. It was a very good experience. I can’t compare it to anything else. They’re very good in that sense. They were very helpful. And it’s very easy to use on a day to day basis.

I researched security systems online and that's how I learned about Frontpoint. I went with them because of the ratings I've read about, and now we had them for less than a year. Installing the security device was very simple. I have used the Frontpoint mobile app but I've had some issues with that. There had been times when it just doesn't work. I've talked to some reps at Frontpoint. They've been fine but when it came to the mobile app, it couldn't seem to do too much other than just log out and log back in again and see if it works. Fort the most part it does but there have been times when I've been in another town and I can't get it to respond. But still I did like the feeling of security. The only criticism I would have is that the console is very bulky. That's been an issue for us. I wish they would come up with a sleeker, smaller design for that.

I chose Frontpoint because my son had a system and he was happy with it. I have been using Frontpoint as our home security service provider since last November. Installing my security device was difficult as there were issues. One of the door switches or units was bad and needed to be replaced. They hired their local contract installer. There was very little clearance between the top of the door and the ceiling and he didn’t have a drill that could drill in that area. And I subsequently had a number of issues with the light modules, the location of the console. The light modules didn’t work. I moved the console around several times. The light module issues continued for three or four months.
Every time I had an issue, I called their team. They were all very positive. With regard to the light module, it did not solve the problem but they were friendly, courteous, seemed to know what they were talking about. Also, I only use their app to check the camera. And it works okay. I feel safer and protected - the feeling that I expected to have. I use their website a lot to schedule the lights coming on and off when I’m going to be away and it’s very easy to do. I am satisfied with Frontpoint.

I activate and deactivate the system all the time using the app on my iPhone. It's great. I've even done it from my bedroom when I forgot to set it at night. Sometimes I wake up and say "oh I don't think that I set that." So I pick up the iPhone and set it from my bed. But recently, I was getting an indication that I thought one of the sensors wasn't working. So I called in and talked to somebody and I realized it probably had been working. I was misreading what it was telling me. I also found out when I put them in, I thought I had labeled everything so I'd know exactly what sensor I was looking at. But evidently from talking to the individual that I talked to last week, I had neglected to save that. After talking to him, I went through it again and now got everything labeled so I know exactly what each sensor is doing. So I was very happy with the service, too. In fact, I had pulled part of one of the sensors off the door when I thought it wasn't working so they're even sending me some new adhesive pads to get it back on there properly.
I'm very happy with Frontpoint. I definitely feel a lot more secure when I'm away from home, knowing that the system is armed. I chose Frontpoint because most of the places I saw when I was researching to see which security system was the best had Frontpoint listed as the number one or number two. It was listed so highly on three or four different reviews. Plus I liked the fact that there was no hard wiring. I really didn't have any difficulties installing the device. It was very simple.

I researched other security systems, but Frontpoint seemed to be getting the best reviews. After spending about 5 minutes on the phone with Stephen, I knew that the customer service would be MUCH better than the other option we were considering. After a few days of emailing with Stephen and asking questions, we decided to order the equipment. The representatives are so kind, and they really make the process easy. Frontpoint was recommended by the builder. I've had them since December. I had another home security provider for a long time but Frontpoint is excellent compared to the other one. Installing their security device was no problem. It was a piece of cake. On setting it up, when I spoke to the guy, everybody was very helpful and I would recommend them to anybody. I have less worries since I had them. Having Frontpoint is carefree.

I have used Frontpoint for about a year. I decided to have them because they're wireless. Installing the security device was easy. Being able to access and control the system on the go is a good thing. It works out fine. When I set everything up and called to have it activated, the reps were all very polite and it worked out real well. And then once this past winter, we had water in the basement and they called and informed me immediately before there were any real problems, any real issues with it, and we were able to take care of it. Having the system I feel more confident. We got it basically because we winter in Florida, and it is something to make sure that everything was okay while we were gone. I like them. I'm happy with their service.

I have used Frontpoint as our home security service provider for a year now. As far as customer service goes, there is no comparison with ADT, my old home security service provider. Frontpoint is much better. What I did was I ordered online with the help of one of the Frontpoint representatives at the 1-800 number and I received it through FedEx or UPS, and when I received it, I organized everything and when I was ready to start installing it, I called their 1-800 number again and they took me through the entire process.
Their team went through installation processes or any other questions that I’ve had. They were always courteous and professional. They always put the time. Even when it would take me time to do something, they stayed on the line and they waited until I was ready and then we moved on. Also, I use their mobile phone app often. It’s very important to me to access it, because of my travel schedule and other things that I do with my family, accessibility for others. I can control who can come into the house. It had cameras. I can see around my home. There are so many benefits that I can do online when I’m not at home.
As far as security goes, the biggest one is feeling more secure. When we’re not at home, we know that we can always see our home by looking at our cameras with our app. It’s a peace of mind. I have referred them to some of my friends.

My husband installed it and there was no problem at all. The reason we chose Frontpoint was because it was wireless. We're away from home a lot and we could turn it on and off whenever the housekeeper came in using the Frontpoint mobile app. We use that a lot when we're out of town. We really like that. That was a big plus.
We're very pleased with the Frontpoint security system. It works the way it's supposed to. We definitely feel safer, especially when my husband's out of town. And whenever my husband forgot to turn the system off, they would call and he's dealt with that. It's been a very pleasant experience.

I had a break-in in my home last November right around Thanksgiving so I went online and started looking for alarm companies because I was living alone in my house and I was afraid. I wasn't sleeping and I thought I need to do something. I started checking out different places. I called Frontpoint and they were very responsive and they listened. It was like "We have a product to sell. How fast can we get this to you?" and "We'll give you this kind of a deal." It was a very pleasant experience to buy it. It also felt like there was compassion. They felt very personal and so that made me feel good. And then when installing it, a couple of things I put in wrong, like backwards, and I had to redo it, they were very patient and they helped me a lot.
I've had them as a home security for almost a year now and so far everything is great. I sleep better now every night because of having this security system. The only negative experience I had was in the first couple of months I had it. In the middle of the night, one of the door sensors fell off and set off the alarm. It freaked me out and I was up, yelling through the house. I called Frontpoint and they stayed on the phone with me while I went through and checked everything. They kept saying "Do you want us to call the police?" I said, "No, just stay with me. I don't see any evidence of any break-in." I was walking back through a back hallway and turned on a bathroom light and there's the little sensor on the floor. That was a little frustrating, and that happened a few times. Not with the door, but with the window sensors for breakage, they fell off.
So Frontpoint ended up sending me a whole bunch of new sticky things and they're the things they use in outer space, but they didn't work although I was meticulous in following the directions. They told me "they’re supposed to really work, I don’t know why they’re not working for you." But we got through it. Most of my window breakage sensors are now sitting on things rather than up on the wall. I don't know if that's good or not, but I thought I don't really want to go through that again, having them break in the middle of the night and scare me to death.
We are thrilled to hear that you did your research and found us to be the best option for securing your home after your previous break in. We understand those can be scary situations so we're happy to hear you're safe and protected now.
It also sounds like you had some trouble with those glassbreak sensors mounting to your wall but we were able to send you out our thick adhesive and 3M tape to fix them. If you ultimately decided to put those sensors on top of something, like a book shelf, that is completely fine and the sensor will work perfectly! This is because that sensor does not see anything, it only detects the specific frequency of paneled glass breaking.

The last time I called, it was wonderful cause I got someone who really knew what she was doing. It was a young woman who was just excellent. She was outstanding. She offered suggestions and then sent me a product. Their solution was to put a thicker pad on the back of my sensors, so they sent me these pads that wouldn't be able to be put there anyway. So that wasn't very good. But the first one I called didn't have the technical expertise that was needed. Then I talked with a second one and it was a man, and he was okay. So they got my problem solved. Overall, since I've had the system, excellent service. I was eventually able to find someone who could take care of my problem. Frontpoint's done a good job. I'd recommend it.

The service has been great. I’m so happy with it. Thus far, I’ve not had any problems whatsoever either with my equipment or my service. I’d recommend them. Frontpoint is the greatest. I had ADT before and they let me down at a time when I really needed some help.

Worst home security company ever! My front door alarm never works properly. They have sent me 3 different sensors and none of them work properly on my front door. For the past 2 weeks my alarm goes off every day when I leave for work because it doesn't work properly. They call and ask if everything is alright and all I can say is, "It is the crappy Frontpoint Security sensors that don't work again." I am so sick and tired of this company and their worthless equipment. I've paid so much money for a security system that is worthless.
About a year ago, I went overseas and the glass break alarm went off. The cops were never called, but I received an email stating that the alarm had gone off. I had to call my friend who lived 20 minutes away to go check if my house had been broken into or not. The sensors malfunction all the time. DO NOT go with Frontpoint Security. It is the worst. Half the time, the sensors don't even work. They also charge me $43 a month for their useless monitoring.

I was shopping for a security system/alarm company due to a recent break in/incident that occurred with a neighbor's vacant home (rental property). In a few minutes of basic research, Frontpoint security consistently appeared as either the top or in the top 5 companies for security. I filled out an online form requesting a quote that consisted of name, address, and phone number and was immediately contacted the next morning by Sahil **, a security consultant with Frontpoint.
I'm writing this review because Sahil demonstrated outstanding customer service with this consult. He was friendly, polite, easy to understand, and not pushy at all. There was no attempt to "oversell" services or equipment. In this case, we were discussing the number of window/door sensors that I would need to "protect" my house. At one point, he even suggested that it could be less expensive to use motion sensors in lieu of multiple window/door sensors. In other words, he was trying to make suggestions to save me money in the initial cost.
My point in writing this review wasn't to grade Frontpoint on their pricing or the system as a whole. I can't do that if I don't have the system installed yet. My whole point in writing this review is to give kudos to Sahil ** for great customer service in getting me a quote and ordering the system. He made it easy, and stress free. If all the reps in Frontpoint are like Sahil, then I understand why they are a top company (from a people point of view). If this reaches anyone at Frontpoint, I hope they give Sahil a pat on the back, but he deserves much more (a bonus, a raise, a gift certificate, lunch - something!).

We just bought a new house and negotiated with the seller to leave the security system because we left ours at our old home. The sellers told us that they really like the system and just to call Frontpoint, sign their 3 yr agreement and they'd transfer it. I just called Frontpoint and told them my situation and the representative on the other line literally started laughing and didn't stop for at least 45 seconds. He said he was laughing because "you can't just do that." I was so mad. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism.
He went on to tell me that the previous owners "own" my control panel and I'd have to purchase my own for $99.00. Seriously? You're telling me that your equipment isn't sophisticated enough that you can't activate it in my name. That makes me questions how well it really works if someone was to break in. If you can't even go into your computer and change the billing information, surely this equipment isn't very good. I'm willing to pay the 45/mo along with signing the agreement and Frontpoint won't activate my service. That is unreal. We left our system in the home that we sold and the new owners called the company and did just that, transferred the billing. I've never heard of Frontpoint until moving in here but I'll be sure to let everyone I talk to that Frontpoint has zero customer service skills and doesn't want your business.

I have increased my rating to three stars due to the fact it is finally up and running, and now seems to work fine. Initially, two pieces were defective and two could not be picked up by the panel (They needed long range). So the replacement pieces were sent. Upon receiving, they neglected to send one replacement. So now I had to wait again. When that finally arrived, and all got set up, an additional sensor was not picked up. I was told this was due to the door being metal, and a replacement had to be sent for this one. Why was the question of metal not brought up by them initially?
All in all, it took almost three weeks to get up and running. I am very concerned about the quality of the hardware, and with a short warranty. Besides, the initial investment was not inexpensive. All I can hope for is that the majority of the reviews are correct, and my experience is unusual. Today I receive a collection call from Frontpoint, my account is past due. How can this be, they ran my credit card, they have my credit card for the monthly charges? This was it. I am packaging the system and returning. A confused and poorly run company with inferior equipment. STAY AWAY!!!

I purchased a system for $487.00 a few years back. They claimed that it was GUARANTEED FOR THE LIFE OF THE CONTRACT. I started having problems last year with the control box that showed "battery failure". I called several times and reluctantly sent a new battery. The problem persisted to which I called a few times and they claimed it was all working correct and it was the location of the box causing the false message.
In Oct 2013 I came into the house early evening and turned the alarm off... A few minutes later a patrol was in front of my house because it had gone off silently. I called and notified that it was a false alarm. Then 20 minutes later another patrol pulls in front of my home. I called again the central command and told them and the operator "couldn't figure out what happened". I stressed the urgency to get their act together because I could be charged for false alarm and nobody had called prior sending the patrol. It was then that someone decided to place my account in the "do not call" list, without my consent, knowledge or authorization.
Last Saturday, Sept 9th, the alarm was accidentally triggered at 6.20 am. I received no call or patrol to which I called on Monday to find out why they had not bother to call to verify that it was all ok... The operator in customer service put me on hold for over 1 hour between finding out to finally tell me that I had not received a call because my account was in a "do not call list". I called again to speak w/ a supervisor and it took all day to get a call back... No sense of urgency or regret on their part. When I finally spoke w/ the customer service supervisor, she claimed that they had attempted to call my cell and the line was busy... AT 6.20 AM... I had check the log of my cell phone and there was no attempt... A TOTAL LIE!!!! Trying to cover their backs... NO GOOD. I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED OR ROBBED AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!

DO NOT trust this company. They tell you anything to get that sale. The rep was pleasant and friendly and then immediately became agitated when he could see I wasn't buying anything on the spot. My wife kept seeing good reviews so she convinced me to try it. I let her call in with brand new information so I wouldn't have to deal with the same ** AND we got a better deal, go figure. The original rep recommended something that seemed basic for my home and then refused to acknowledge any coupons I told him I saw online. The woman my wife talked to told us to join Angie's List and then buy it through there and got us a sweet deal.
Now here's the bad part. The system SUCKS. It's bulky and cheap, my motion sensor immediately fell off the wall. They accused me of not wiping down my surface. I guess even after cleaning them off that my walls were too dirty for their cheap equipment adhesive. When I returned it they wouldn't honor the fact that the rep waived my expedited shipping and credit me my fully amount nor did they want to honor my extended 60 days trial. I had to threaten legal action and a bad review online to convince them to give me my money back. Mention reviews, it will get you out of the terms, ha! So all in all, I wouldn't trust this company to secure my family. They have negative things to say for every competitor you bring up, yet are guilty of the same things. RUN!

It doesn't work. I purchased the system and had to return it within two weeks because my alarm went off several times a day everyday. Every time it went off it was their fault. I spent 5 to 6 full days on the phone with their support team trying my best to get it to work. FrontPoint mislead me when I purchased the system, nothing they told me was true! Trust me when I tell you they are full of !@#$! Their product is 100 percent crap! How they got so many good reviews I have no idea. Their support team is very nice and they tried, but after two weeks into it, and at least one full week of my life wasted. I had to give up and send it back. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. FrontPoint is a joke, they suck! I'm really upset about the time and energy I spent trying to use a system that doesn't work. First I was Mislead about their motion sensors, Then my door and window sensors went off everyday several times a day. It is totally unpredictable and they have no solutions although they did try it doesn't matter the product is crap!!! It doesn't work!!!

We had this system installed in our home for a year and a half and it functioned fine, customer service was great. We moved and I reinstalled the system in our new home. It's been a month now since we moved and I have not been able to make this system functional. First, I ordered additional components since the house was configured differently. They sent the wrong components. That took time to fix.
When the correct components arrived and I installed them and called to activate the system, the main control panel failed. That had to be replaced. I got that up and running and the system worked for a couple of days, and then another component in the system failed, causing the entire system to go down. When I was finally able to get in touch with customer service, they deactivated the failed component and reactivated the system, but of course have to now ship a replacement piece.
I tested the system yesterday, setting it successfully while I was away from the house for a few hours, but when I tried to arm the system this morning before going to work, it failed AGAIN. At 7:30 on a weekday morning, I was unable to get anyone in customer service. I left a request for a callback, and emailed customer service, but two hours have gone by and no callback.
I am at work, away from the house for 12 hours, and my husband left this morning for several days of business travel. The house is unprotected and I'm going home alone at night to a house that I'm not confident is secure. My house is vulnerable, and I'll be vulnerable. I don't know what has happened to this company, why the customer service has gone downhill, and why the equipment is so likely to fail.

I ordered a security system from FrontPoint about two weeks ago. They were to send me all the "normal" stuff plus I was going to have installed the items they do not install (camera, door lock and thermostats). It was to be installed today (7/29/14) because I wanted it in before I went out of town this weekend. Door lock, thermostats never came in and I was going to have them installed tonight after the rest was put in. However NOTHING was installed because they NEVER showed up, called or anything. I emailed Sahel before noon and he said he would find out what was going on and call in a few minutes. I NEVER got a call and finally emailed me back at 9:00 AFTER I emailed at 8:30? Is this the company known for customer service?

Your customer service is amazing, and the products are impressive and easy to set up and use. Everyone that we've spoken with, from the initial salesperson, to the technical people who helped with setup - all have been professional and helpful. The system was really easy to set up - I was skeptical that we could really do it in 30 minutes, but that was pretty much all it took. We really like the website and mobile apps, and ability to customize and add features. Great work.

We had a break-in last week. My wife is very nervous about them coming back while she is home as they broke in even though her car was here. We got a new FrontPoint system, quick shipping and easy setup. We got it activated no problem. My wife feels secure, I can go out of town as planned. My wife is leaving for work in the evening and she can't set the alarm because it reads SN3 key chain sensor failure. Guess who has to come home? There is nobody available at Frontpoint to talk to until the next business day. Not good on a Saturday night. There is no information in the materials given to you to problem solve. There is no information on the internet as well.
It's a brand new system, less than 24 hours on it and it fails. There is NOBODY TO HELP FIX THE PROBLEM. My wife needed a security system that would make us feel protected and secure. Our experience with FrontPoint leaves us feeling vulnerable and on our own. There is no information on how to change the delay time anywhere, yet the company information says it can be done. How??? Only the very basics of using the control panel are given. I need instructions for programming the panel and there are none. Do not set up your system before a weekend. If it screws up like mine did, there is nobody to help you. You'll only get an answering service.

My house was all pre-wire to work with ADT when I bought the house. I start reading reviews about ADT and it was pretty bad. I was not happy with the idea to pay for another set of sensor with FrontPoint, however after reading and reading the excellent reviews I bought it. Dummy proof installation, Dummy proof understanding, Dummy proof app usage, cannot be more simple. The amount of configuration you can make in your account on the website is amazing. You don't touch your control panel (only in the phone with support to initial setup), you do everything in the website. The amount of notifications and personalization is just amazing. I just added Garage door and Lightning to control a lamp for my dog and it was a 5 minutes install in the phone with support. Don't think twice, it's worth every penny!

Service seems to be comparable with its competitors but don't have your order excess equipment. Extremely easy to self-install. The home-automation choices are still lacking functionality (e.g., remote garage closing, scheduling of lights on or off). Despite the home automation drawbacks, I am ecstatic with the product and service.

My experience with Frontpoint has been wonderful from beginning to current. I dealt with Jeremy ** first. After two conversations that were pleasant and helpful, I made my order. I quite enjoyed my experience with Jeremy. It shipped in one day and arrived four business days later. The packaging is perfect and the instructions are clear. I don't think it could be better. I just installed my system and had it activated. Very easy. Total time, taking my time, from unwrapping to activation, was about an hour, including mounting the panel to a wall. I could have done it in 30 minutes. The activation and quick panel training was easy, clear and effective. I am very satisfied with the whole process and the clear communication along the way.

The alarm system arrived within four days of our order. It is easy to set up, and the representative who guided us through the activation process was outstanding -- great personality and good help. We especially enjoy being able to arm and disarm our system from our iPhones.

I purchased a front point home alarm system approximately one year ago. And to this day, my family and I have never felt more unsafe and unsure with this system. I had told representatives that I was thinking of going with their system and had informed them numerous times that I was unsure given the area I live in for cell signal coverage (1-2 bars at best). They kept telling me no problem our system is guaranteed to work even with low cell coverage because it only uses such a small amount of radio signal anyway. So I'm sold.
I spend $2500.00 on a system, sign the 3 year and now I'm stuck with a system that doesn't even work. They've sent me 5 new radios to try which never worked. They couldn't even send equipment that worked. It took about 3 months just in shipping faulty or exchanged equipment back and forth. The main control panel doesn't even have enough signals to communicate with the touchscreen in the garage. I've called them countless times and they wait until after the not satisfied money back time period to check into the communication signal and say "yeah we aren't seeing very good signal coming from your device." This entire system has been nothing but problems. The reason front point has such good reviews is because there is always somebody friendly on the other end of the phone, that's about it.

I always check out the companies that I intend to do business with. Usually with BBB then independent ratings online. I had never heard of Frontpoint before, but they just seem to stand out. The more I read the more I was convinced this was the company to go with. The cellular, no one coming to install, the great customer service, quality of products, affordability. Anyone doing their own comparison can see they really are better especially with a product like this with the cellular instead of what is out there now, why take a chance?

This review is intended to give the heads up on what to expect from this company once they charge your credit card. They know sales very well up to the point to make you hand over the credit card info. The rep on the phone sounded informed, cordial even, making the whole idea of DIY cell-based security system very appealing. Then you get emails about FrontPoint online ratings, referrals and such, but no shipment info and tracking #. Not the same business day, not the day after - although during the sales pitch they reference the same day shipment.
After email complaints the rep promises the overnight shipment by FedEx. The order is shipped - finally - but not overnighted, FedEx tracking cites scheduled 2-day delivery. In other words, it's not the Amazon. FrontPoint is more like a mom-and-pop pizza joint down the street, who tell you over the phone the pizza is gonna be ready in 15 min and when you show up 20 min later they tell you another 15 min. Christina pizza takes lots a time to make, and stare at you disapprovingly while you wait.

The process as described on the website for this product is not nearly as simple as we are led to believe. Customer service cannot provide ample direction, and I would not only not use this company again, but I would hesitate to use a wireless system again. Billing was also a nightmare.

I recently bought a house and wanted to install a security system. The best type is a cellular based security system. FrontPoint is by far the leader! They break every system down and conform the best security system to your house. They don't have a sale's pitch. It’s conformed to your needs. The install took less than 1 hour! Every time I called for a question or comment, they were more than happy to help, with no automated responses! There is always someone there to help you 24/7!

When I had the opportunity to share my feedback I didn't hesitate to share the remarkable experience I've had so far. I couldn't be happier with my system. It's as advanced as you can get it in today's market and reasonable in price. The added control modules give you the freedom to expand your system and your desire. Two thumbs up on the service.

I am so thankful to have this system. Since installing and posting signs, my home has been burglar free--I had a series of break-ins over a 9-month period. I didn't have valuable items, but it got very personal when toiletries were being taken. I can stay in my own home again. Thanks!

All experiences I have had with FrontPoint have been positive. Setting up our alarm system was so easy and all of the reps are very helpful. Any time an alarm has gone off due to an entry error, we get a call within 1 minute asking if everything is ok. I would recommend FrontPoint to anyone!

I have never had home security, so I was very skeptic with the idea of purchasing the service. But after researching FrontPoint and having talked to one of the friendliest account managers ever, I was sold. I even requested extra parts for the alarm that I got free of charge. I always feel taken care of.

The representative was not only helpful but also very forthcoming as to why she used front point. I felt sincere compassion and concern from her when she heard our "story". This was the reason why we went with FrontPoint. The installation was very easy and I felt the rep did not try to oversell me on more than I needed. I ended up having to return some of the equipment and that process was quick and easy. Overall, we are happy and safe.

For starters, my local police department had never dealt or heard of you guys until I purchased my system. They were SO surprised to hear that (1) you automatically sent me the alarm permit and (2) kept record of the permit number. Score one for FrontPoint!
About three months ago, I received a call from the FrontPoint monitoring center regarding the motion sensor in the basement being triggered. We were 1500 miles away, so the dispatcher was kind enough to call my local police and request that a patrol check out the house. As promised, she called me back to report that everything appeared to be in order. Then, when we returned from our trip, I received a verification call when I disarmed the system. SCORE!!!!

System is super easy to set up and use. The remote phone features and email alerts are excellent and the customer service can't be beat.
