    Everybody's been great with Frontpoint. We're happy with the system but we're having issues with the radio unit not communicating with the head office. The alarm goes off but Frontpoint is not getting the signal, which means nobody's coming. They had to send out a new radio unit. I continued to get messages that the control panel has not communicated with the thing in since the 20th. They mentioned the possibility of doing it wireless with an internet access. Trying to call them or to get it handled is why I haven't done anything about it. I'm in the customer service business and I'd like to see a little bit more proactive approach to getting my stuff fixed.

    It's been about a year and a half that we've used Frontpoint as our home security provider. We used the Frontpoint mobile app at our vacation home, but we're not using the system now that we're in our home. Since installing our security device, we've felt good leaving our vacation home because we weren't there very much.

    I like the equipment being cellular, with no wires, so it doesn't have these false alarms that people with wired systems are constantly getting. I've called their team a few times for different things or when the alarm went off, and everybody's been really helpful.

    First heard about Frontpoint when I Googled what's the best alarm service and their reviews online made me choose them over other security providers. I was a little weirded out about it during the installation since I have to do it myself and I wasn't sure if I was going to do it correctly but then once I installed, they called and everything's been fine since. Everyone from Frontpoint has been really nice and helpful all the time.

    Plus I use the mobile app and I love being able to access the system on the go. When we first got it, my husband accidentally entered the wrong code then the cops came right away so that assured me that it is working. And now, I’m definitely more confident knowing that we have the alarm system. Great, secure and helpful, I would recommend it.

    Installing Frontpoint was easy, no problem. We had issues with our doorways and doors not exactly lined up. We had a couple issues with getting a sticky pad as opposed to the smaller ones just to make sure that they line up well and they weren't just getting off even when the doors were shut. There's also this one incident when my wife was at home, our system went off late in the morning but the alarm on the inside of the other house didn't go off. It was telling me that the alarm was activated but we got that problem solved.

    I've never had to have a service call with Frontpoint but the customer service has always been great. During setup, they were able to answer to anything that I needed over the phone and didn’t go through a call tree. They told me what I needed to order, and I ordered it. I had a question or two after the equipment came in and the Frontpoint rep answered, and I haven’t had any problem since. I inquired about adding, extending the system with electronic door locks and they were extremely helpful. They gave me information on what I needed, what worked, what didn’t work and then they said I could buy from them, or I could buy from elsewhere. It went as smooth as it can be.

    Over a year since we've been using Frontpoint. We used Select Security before but the difference between the two companies are like night and day. When our batteries and our smoke detector started to get weak, Select would call at 3 o'clock in the morning to tells us we needed to change the batteries in our smoke detectors. They also did the same thing when we have a problem with one detector. Their service people had been out to remove that detector and we were waiting for a new one to come in. They knew it but they kept calling at 3 or 4 in the morning, so that was the end of them.

    On the other hand, Frontpoint was great with their service. When we did the installation, we had Verizon for our cellphone but its signal in our house isn't that great. They immediately figured that out and switched it for an AT&T without any problem. I recommended Frontpoint to my friend who bought the town house next door.

    I was looking for security systems online when I came upon Frontpoint. I looked at the review and that's it. I've been using it for 6 to 8 months now. I use Frontpoint for my house in Hampshire, and I use ADT for the one in Michigan. I like Frontpoint better. They are more responsive although I've had more interaction with them because of its construction sites - there have been a lot of false alarms. But they have been very accommodating. They even come up with suggestions when I have a problem. They were extremely helpful.

    One time we kept getting a lot of fire alarms, so they came up with the system that when they hear the alarm, they wouldn't call the fire department right away or automatically until it's anywhere between 8 and 5 every single day. This helped us an awful lot. Installing the device was also easy. My son installed it in our house. I've installed other security systems in our rental properties, and this one's a breeze compared to them. I'd recommend Frontpoint.

    We had an issue a year ago during the installation of our Frontpoint sensor system because we don't have molding around our doors. They had to send additional build-up material so that the sensor eyes would match. So far, everything has been fine and we have recommended their service to other people.

    The initial setup of their device wasn't that bad, but one of them broke so I bought another one, and another couple were not armed. They still ring if something happens, but they don't connect to Frontpoint because it wasn't easy to find out which device was on which keychain. Everything looks the same. I know it's supposed to be simple, but things like this aren't simple unless you turn them on and they work. I would still recommend them because once it’s installed, the service is fine. The fact that it’s managed through my phone and that they call me first is what I like about in their system.

    We had been with ADT. We moved into a bigger area in our shop so they had handed us off to a new company because we were over the 7500 square feet that they want to cover. The new company gave us a $2500 estimate for the installation of the equipment. So I called Frontpoint and I think I got most of the equipment for free (or it might have been $200). We also got a keypad on the front door and the backdoor for just $10 more - that was another option that would have cost a couple hundred dollars more to do with ADT. We got the equipment out, we talked to a guy on the phone and within an hour, we were set up with Frontpoint's system. We did the installation over the phone because the system is not hardwired. We've been using Frontpoint's system for almost a year now and I'd definitely recommend it.

    I did not like setting up the Frontpoint motion detectors ourselves but the rest of the installation has been fine. I feel you should have someone come out and make sure that we set them up right. I like that I can do everything from my phone through the mobile app - it's the best thing about it. I can turn it on and then turn it off when people need to get into my house. Nothing has ever happened where we really needed Frontpoint but I feel more secure with it.

    We had ADT in the past and didn’t know how unhappy we were with them until we had a problem. We found out that they thought we were a business and something happened where we needed help but were not able to get it, so we decided to do away with them. Since we didn’t want to be without service, we searched for a replacement and saw the ad for Frontpoint and decided to go with them. We were able to handle things easily and simply, and also, we were saved from the hassle of having somebody in our house for a couple of days setting the stuff up. We had a problem setting our device up so we called back and they sent us a new piece and we were fine.

    We also had an incident in which the alarm went off and we couldn’t turn it off. The thing was so loud that I couldn’t hear the Frontpoint reps on the phone, so we ended up having to hang up and dial from another room. The only problem I had is that the phone is relatively close to the system itself and loud but now we know what to do. Other than that, everything’s gone fairly smoothly, and I’d recommend Frontpoint to anyone.

    If I’m going to have a security system I’m paying for, I want to make sure that it’s something that’s going to protect us. I did research over the internet and Frontpoint’s name kept coming up, very highly regarded, and I was making a change in security systems so I wanted to go with them. Installing the devices was very simple. However I had a problem with the motion detectors of the original system. I had to take them off because I can’t seem to find a way jumping in front of it and making faces. I went to replace it with all strictly window, door sensors and it went very smoothly - had no problems. A couple of times I’ve had the alarm trip us, family members forgetting codes, so I had to call Frontpoint, and the reps took care of the problem right away. It was all very professional and well-handled. The system’s very easy to live with and I’m very happy with it. Frontpoint’s doing a great job, and I’ve recommended them to others.

    I have had to call Frontpoint every single month that I have had this system, and I've talked to different customer service reps to get an invoice sent to me for this service that they bill on my credit card. Frontpoint does not provide any form of invoice for billing. I left feedback on their website and I've had to call somebody every month and get them to email me an invoice and it's not even really an invoice -- it doesn't have an invoice number on it, billing number, no actual reference numbers on it.

    They only place in quotation marks 'received', and if it wasn't a thousand dollars payout, I would find somebody else to use because I have to be able to invoice every month where this charge is going on a business account, and I have to submit expense reports and have it charged to the right place, and if I don't have a receipt, I have to fill out a whole other report for why I don't have a receipt for a charge on my credit card. I’d still recommend Frontpoint however because except for their billing aspect, they’re very good.

    I’ve used Frontpoint’s mobile app twice and the problem is you have to have a password. I don’t usually have that password with me when I have 40 different things that I got passwords for. However, since installing my security device, we’ve never been broken into. We’ve had a house or two in our neighborhood that’s been broken into. There aren’t a lot in my neighborhood that have Frontpoint which I like because a lot of people have ADT, and I don’t know if any of our criminals around are that sophisticated but if they are, they might figure out a way around that, whereas when they’re not familiar with Frontpoint, it might be more of an issue.

    I’d recommend Frontpoint to anyone. We go off to the beach for a week every summer and it’s nice knowing it’s there, and we feel better about having that deterrent. It’s like a car security system. If somebody wants to steal your car, they will figure a way. But Frontpoint tries to make it more difficult. They try to be on the list where the criminals say, “Well, let’s skip this house and go to the next one down."

    It’s great being able to turn my Frontpoint system on and off using their mobile app. There are different types of turning the system on like the more panicking mode or just the regular 30 second delay, and also seeing if any of the connections, doors or windows are opened. I’m paranoid in a sense that if I'm gone for a couple of days, I wouldn’t know if anything would be different when I get home. But now after the installation, if something happens, at least I have an awareness and I can start the process of having someone to check on the home. Overall my experience with Frontpoint has been great and I have peace of mind. Moreover, it’s not terribly expensive and there wasn't much pressure in buying each device.

    Last May 2, 2015 I ordered a home security system with them. They had sent it my house 05/02/2015 - I was billed for the equipment for U$ 167.94. Equipment haven't been installed or open in the box (unluckily May 4, I was out of the country). 06/03/2015 - I was billed for U$ 44.95 for a monthly fee (equipment haven't been installed yet. Still inside a box. I had return the equipment without even opening it, coz why I being billed for the system/service that I am not getting 07/03/2015 - I was again billed for another U$ 44.99. Went called them.

    They said they would refund myself. 08/20/2015 - I called them again. They said a U$ 17 plus had been refunded to me last 07/28/2015 coz my trial period is gone and I need to pay restocking fee of U$ 150. Bottom line is I paid them U$ 167. They refunded myself U$ 17. And again they 2 U$ 44.95 that they charged my card for the past 2 months. I need to wait another 10 days to have it (in a good day) I guessed. Buyers beware. This company would just charged your card like crazy, without giving you any service at all. Help your friends by telling them about this company. Frontpoint COMPANY ALWAYS IN THE FRONTLINE IN GETTING YOUR MONEY.

    Frontpoint was rated interestingly at the top so I chose them and had it for about ten months. Installing their security device was very easy and I use their mobile app. However, Frontpoint does not offer any discounts or upgrades for their existing customers while new customers get great deals.     I was doing an internet search trying to find an alternative to ADT and learned about Frontpoint. You ask ADT a question night and day - they want to send a service rep over to your house to discuss it, whereas you can just call up Frontpoint and talk to anybody and they'll give you the information without trying to sell you on anything. It was a much nicer customer service experience.

    Installation was a piece of cake. The instructions are very clear on the package and if you run into any problem setting up, you just call them and they'll walk you through it. And I think that Frontpoint is a class act in terms of how it approaches residential security. I like the fact that you are in control of it. You know what the prices are upfront. Without having someone come to your house, you can explain what you're trying to accomplish and then they'll make recommendations on what they think might do the job for you and they would even do things like, "Okay, rather than putting sensors on every window, why don't you try the glass break? It's cheaper."

    I use the mobile app all the time. That was one of the things that sold me on it, the ability to remotely alarm and shut off the alarm using my iPhone. I would always have to cancel my cleaning service whenever I went on vacation because I didn't want them to have the code. So I could just remind myself to do it the morning they were coming and then shut it when they left. And I could see when the front door was shut. And then also that remote app helps with things like, "Did I shut the garage door or not?" It doesn't help you shut the door but at least if you have a sensor on your garage door, it will tell you whether or not it was open or closed. I'm sure everybodys like, "Did I remember to do this?" With the app, you can easily check. A world class customer service overall.

    Installing my Frontpoint device was easy and I didn’t have issues, however the stickers they have for the door sensors weren’t good. They came off a couple of times and I had to buy others. I feel a lot safer since installing the security device, and I had one incident where the team called me right after my alarm went off and they followed up after, so I like it. I would definitely recommend Frontpoint to a friend. It’s a good service, but it’s slightly more expensive and there are a lot of other providers which are at par in terms of service offering cheaper rates, so I thought that's maybe something I may look into after my contract.

    I've searched for the top 10 home security companies and Frontpoint popped up in a few of them. I compared the price to response time, amenities, complaints filed to Better Business Bureau to come up with a decision.     My wife was researching online and saw good reviews about Frontpoint so we decided to go with it. We've been with the company a little more than a year now. We used Brinks before. They were okay, but they didn't provide the telephone-free type of service. We used to have a home phone, but our dog chewed up the line. When that happened, our security system that time also went down. Their service was great, but I like the idea of not needing to be connected to any line and the likes.

    When we used Frontpoint, the installation was not a problem. We put everything in place where we wanted it and then we called Frontpoint. During the process, we went through the steps of testing it and everything worked. When we went out of town, we put the number of Frontpoint's customer service as our first contact. During that time, our neighbor's dog managed to get one of our doors open and it triggered the alarm. It was a false alarm but Frontpoint was right on top of it. They contacted people and they came right away to check on the house even though it was a holiday, the Fourth of July. Now, I set the security alarm every time I go out the door because it gives me a sense of security.

    I also like the no entry delay feature of the security system. I use it when I go to bed at night. I set the thing and I know that if somebody breaks in, immediately a call is going to go out. It'll set off the alarm right away, and that'll give me plenty of time to get to my gun case. I'm very satisfied with Frontpoint and I'd recommend it to anybody.

    I liked the fact that with Frontpoint we could monitor our system. Using the app I could control and see when I was gone, and I could turn on and off the system. I haven't had any instance that I've not been able to turn it on and off when I needed to. We don't have the updated where we could control the temperature or the locks and once we get to that point that would be a little bit nicer. Frontpoint wasn't extremely expensive but is in-between range. Plus their people are helpful. Anytime I called they answered all my questions.     I've had Frontpoint for almost a year for my house and seven months for my business. I chose it due to the ease of its installation and they were comparatively cheaper than the rest. Also, compared to others that I called and had a few minutes of wait time, with Frontpoint, the phone didn't even ring and somebody picked up the phone. Their reps were really helpful during the installation. They were on the phone with me for more than an hour and a half, and went over information as to where and how to install the device and how to check it. I'll think about getting a camera system later, but for now, I'm really happy with what I have. I use the mobile app everyday. Sometimes I forget to lock my house when I leave and I can disarm it where I am. I also usually go inside my house through the garage, and I always arm and disarm it over the phone.

    If I had a choice right now to choose other any company, I would again choose Frontpoint because they've been really helpful. Every time I had any issues, they've been more than happy to help me. If they cannot fix it, they call back and make sure that I have the issues resolved. They even offered all the assistance they could with a garage sensor that was having issues even though I did not get it from them.

    This is the WORST, WORST, WORST alarm company I have ever had!!! I had ADT, Jadtec, San Marino, and this FRONTPOINT is worth much much much lower than **. Compared to others, when the alarm goes off, Frontpoint central DOES NOT get the signal till 30 secs later!!! Within the first couple months, stick-ons they sent were falling apart, the sensors were on the floors one by one. We never ever get a call because our alarm went off. So if you have them, good luck to you. I hope it does not happen to you.

    OVER 3 years of service, NEVER one call. Of course the alarm went off many times by accident. Plus the front door sensor is broken, so only secured by sensor. So every time we come in from the front the alarm goes off before we are able to turn it off. NOPE! NOT ONE SINGLE CALL!!! EVER! I called to ask them, and was told the 30 second "grace." What a stinking joke! So to the thieves out there, shut it within 30 seconds and you're good to go!

    With San Marino, they get the signal even if it's for 5 secs. And if that was from your panic button you can't even cancel the dispatch. So if you are at gunpoint and forced to cancel they would still come. You get 3 false alarm, no charge per calendar year. I've had ADT, and although I didn't like them as much as Jadtech or San Marino alarm, ADT is still much much better than Frontpoint! I am so so so happy they are out of my home! And BEAR in mind, if you want to cancel after your committed years, they want 30 days WRITTEN NOTICE. So when I cancelled on the 5th of the month I got charged the whole of next month too. They say they don't prorate. Yup, only ** works here! Still trying hard to rip you off one final time!

    When the alarm goes off, Frontpoint sends my husband a text and sends me an email. But I want it to send me a text, too. So, I went online and tried to change that, and make my husband as the add-on because he’s one of those people who rarely even has his phone or checks his phone. However, after I switched it, it still sends him the text and sends me an email. Nevertheless, I like that I can turn the device on and off from my phone. I also like that the alarm goes off but it won’t automatically call the police - this gives me about a minute to fix it in case we set it off by ourselves. Overall, Frontpoint has been good.

    Frontpoint has been our home security provider for almost two years. The system was basically self-explanatory, and the fact that I could install the system myself was tremendous. I'm not using it to the maximum though. I don't feel comfortable with the timers so I don't use them the way I should in terms of the lighting. The same is true for the motion detectors. The system takes time, energy, and focus. I need to work on it everyday to get comfortable with it but that is my issue, not the system. The system itself is dependable, reliable, and helpful.     When we had Frontpoint in our house in Michigan, we only had one side of the house protected, so we needed another sensor for the other side. The supervisor sent one out for nothing, so I wasn't happy with the way the company treats its users. When we decided to move from Michigan to Arizona, we can't get out of the three-year contract even if we have been paying without using Frontpoint for the last 12 months. And now that we purchased a property in Arizona and have another company as our security provider, we still have to pay Frontpoint until the end of contract. They're a slick company and charge exorbitant fee every month. so I’m not happy with them at all.

    When we moved, I went online and found out that Frontpoint has been in business for some time. But they were new to me, as I had ADT back then, but wasn't happy because I was dealing with an unauthorized agent. So far, Frontpoint has been better because there was always something going wrong with the monitors ADT put in. It was very easy installing Frontpoint's device. I got on the phone, and they helped me program it. And since I didn't prefer motion detectors, they sent me stickers for the windows, which was a big help. There's a lot of traffic in the hallways, so if somebody's there, it won't trigger the alarm.

    However, my system doesnt for a couple of months now. The alarm just keeps chiming, and although we know that it is the front door, we don't know if people are coming in, or out of the house. So, I called them, and they sent me some new stickers, but they still didn't work. They know about this, but nobody bothered to call and tell me. So right now, my front door isn't secure. Also, I think they are a little expensive. Other than that, I am happy with them.

    With Frontpoint, I definitely feel a little bit more peace of mind. There are times I'm out of town for 2 or 3 weeks and you would just never know if somebody broke into your house if you don't have some kind of technology to tell you. They have an app wherein you can do it from your phone and that's been cool. Every now and then I'll forget to turn off the alarm and my phone will be ringing within about 10 seconds. It's also nice to know that if there's something wrong at my house, I can look at my phone and see that maybe a door was opened. If there really was a problem, they're on it. Their customer service is great.

    In addition, I like their price. Another company is about 20 bucks more monthly. Also, I like the services where you bought the systems. If I move, I'm not tied to this - I can take the system with me. With the other company I talked to, the system was wired in so if I moved, I have to pay off the contractor. I've been pleased with Frontpoint so far.

    I have been with Frontpoint for about a year now, and everything is real good. Installing their device is not hard unless you want to install an actual alarm system with a keypad that you can mount to a wall and doesn't have to be plugged in to an electric outlet. They also have a mobile app, which is great, and their customer service is superior compared to those of the other companies I have been with before. However, about a week ago, both the fire alarm and carbon monoxide alarm fell off the ceiling, so I don't know if the adhesive that they come with are very good. Also, everything that they send you, you would still need to call them and have it set up, rather than being already set up. Other than that, they are definitely A-grade, and I would recommend them to a friend.

    When we suggest you mount any smoke and heat sensor or CO sensor, we try to suggest that you mount those by the top of a wall where it meets the ceiling, not on the ceiling itself. If you mount the sensors like this, they do tend to fall and we apologize if that was not made clear during your setup process.     I definitely have peace of mind having Frontpoint. I like being able to arm it from my phone through their app - that's a great feature and that was one of the things that attracted me to them.     I had one issue with Frontpoint. The locks that I bought for the doors of our business connect remotely via the wave. Sometimes, the lock just locks on its own for no reason. It's not being told to by the system, and I can't figure out if it's a default setting. It's not a good thing when people come to our business and it's locked. But I like their customer service because the gentleman from Frontpoint that I talked to a couple of times did as much as he could, not knowing anything about the lock. But we weren't able to figure that out on the phone, so I called the lock manufacturer. The manufacturer told me because I use them for a business, they were no longer under warranty. I was pissed because it was the lock that Frontpoint had recommended specific for business. And then now, the company won't even talk to me on the phone.

    I've had no problems with the system itself so I would recommend it. I have the unit that has nine access codes and I had asked the salesman at the time, "Hey, nine access codes is limiting for us. Are you ever going to develop a system that will have more?" And he said, "Yeah, we're working on it." A couple of months ago, I called and told them, "Hey, a year ago I called and asked about this. How is it coming?" He replied, "We just released it today." So we're going to need to upgrade that new system and I'm removing at least the panel to my home and then placing the more code-capable one at our office.

I've had sensors with batteries go dead in under a year of service, had some sensors that stick on wall or ceiling with adhesive fall off, and had mysterious failure of the main unit.     I've been using Frontpoint for 15 months now and it makes me feel a lot secure with the security system on. They have top-notch customer service. They did a really good job when I called up the customer service to help me out with the motion sensor, telling me how it works and the location for the sensor. I really like their written policy and that they really explained things.

    I've also been using the mobile app which was used mostly to activate the security. It's good and makes my life really happy, like there are times when we completely forget to activate the system when we leave home and we have to activate the system on the go, so it's really helped me. I've had two friends who were also really happy with Frontpoint so far. The only thing which I'm really concerned is the rate. With Frontpoint I'm paying 24 bucks but I know there are services which have already the same set-up and mobile app for $15-$23. That’s the only thing which I’m really concerned about.

    I’ve used another security provider before Frontpoint and they’re both good services, however I think that Frontpoint has had great customer support and we really liked working with them. Installing their security device was very easy for the most part. We had one device that gave us some problems, but once we had been through a few different iterations with Frontpoint trying to analyze the problem, they took that device back and we put a new one in and haven’t had any problems. We also tried the mobile app. We like it and we need it, but frankly, after using the mobile app for a while, I went back to using the remote keychain device instead. The phone is a great alternative, but I don’t think I would use it as my primary controller.

    I started my service with Frontpoint, but didn't renew it for the first couple of months because I wasn't in the country due to some issues with my VISA. And when I came, I was asking them to waive the fees and put a new start date for this contract. They were a little cooperative, and waived some of the months, but not all of them. Even though we didn’t use their services, they didn't waive the whole period and still charged me for a couple of months. I was very upset because it wasn't fair. I also find it annoying that I keep getting notifications that a contact is open, but I don't know which contact is which. So they should make it possible for the customers to name it (e.g. this is the front door, or this is rear door). I don't know how to do that.

    Another thing is, every time I call them, and tell them that they don't need to contact me if anything happens, and rush to the house right away, they say they are unable to do that, and that I should fax or fill a form, which is difficult. It should only be a call to the customer service, and shouldn't be that hard. But they want a form because they want proof when they send the police, and find out that there's nothing, to which, they are going to charge you for. Overall, I am satisfied with their service, however, I find them very costly. So, whenever someone comes, I tell them to be very cautious with Frontpoint, and not to start a service with unless they are sure that they will come to the US.

    It's been a year that I've been using Frontpoint as my home security provider. I've read good reviews about them which made me consider getting them. However, installation was a hassle because I couldn't get it done right away. I had to get some more supply mailed in before I could get it all installed, and I had to call their 800 numbers when I was having trouble. I think that's the way they're making profit, by having customers install the alarm system instead of having a third person do the installation. And it’s not cheap in comparison to other companies.

    Just this weekend, I had an issue when the security system went off and they called me. The good thing was it was a false alarm. But even so, I have to go through this just to figure out that the sensor isn't working properly. I still have not resolved this issue since I just haven't had time to call them. But on the other hand, they haven't called me as well. Where is the customer service? I think it would be easier if Frontpoint installed the system themselves.

    Installing Frontpoint's device was very easy except that I got an old building, and didn't know that I needed to buy a different and a more powerful sensor to communicate at longer ranges to the console unit. I had to call them back and the people were very helpful and did an exchange immediately, so that part was okay. I use their mobile app all the time. Ever since having them, I have more peace of mind specifically with the thermostat because we leave for a month or two in the winter so I can see how warm it is in the house at any time and be rest assured that the heat is on. Also, I've got environmental sensors. It's fine to have a smoke alarm in your house as long as somebody's there to report the fire but the smoke detectors don't do anything if they're not monitored.

    I did some research online for companies that had a good customer service rating and there were good reviews for Frontpoint. I've used their mobile app a lot in the beginning, but after some time, I didn't use it as much. Every once in a while, I'll log into it just to check its status since I don't usually forget to set the alarm. Moreover, Frontpoint's team were very helpful and could almost always resolve the issue and they have a knack for customer service.

    I would like to have a motion sensor in my house but I can’t because I have a dog, and the particular motion sensor that they use can’t have any animals in the house.     I had this wired system before and got tired of it because I was getting rid of the home phone so I was trying to figure out the best way to cut calls and decided to go with wireless. When I went online, I found out about Frontpoint and thought they were the best one. The installation was pretty easy and I've used the system for almost a year now.

    One issue I have was when I got a call from their rep an hour after I left the house, saying that a certain alarm had went off. However, even though they could tell me that it was in a certain zone, they couldn't tell me the information as far as which zone belongs where, and I had no idea where it was since I didn't have the list. It would be good for their reps to have that information.

    It’s been a couple of years since I signed up with Frontpoint. The equipment wasn’t so bad and they had a decent service so I went with them. It was easy to install though I did have an issue where using the tape didn't really work and the sensor fell down – tripped the alarm once. I ended up screwing something into the wall at that point. I also use their mobile app and it's the primary way I enable and disable the alarm. It's convenient to do it that way.

    Frontpoint was way better than my old security provider. Installation was super easy. The device came in the mail. We stuck it on the doors or put them where we needed to and then called Frontpoint to activate and they checked it all out. Moreover, their people have been super helpful anytime I've talked to them.     My son-in-law and daughter had a burglary at their house and not long after that, we had one too. They installed a Frontpoint system and recommended it to me so I did the same. Installing the device was very easy. There were a couple of sensors to put up on walls and doors, and I just plug in the control box, and call Frontpoint to have them activate it. I also use their mobile app and it’s good. There were times when I forget to set it before I leave the house and then I remember, so I set it. When I’m coming home and I have a lot of packages, I don’t have to come in to the house first to turn off the alarm and go back out to get my stuff.

    I feel safer with the device installed, but in this town the police will not respond to any alarm unless it has been verified first. They have to send out a security company to see if something is actually happening and they’d communicate back with Frontpoint or with the police to tell them that they need to get out here, so it’s not as quick to get a police response if my alarm goes off. However, my alarm hasn’t gone off since then so I haven’t seen it work in actual use. I’d definitely recommend Frontpoint to anyone.

    There's a lot of things that ain't going right. One of it is that I had a battery low signal on Frontpoint's security device. I called them and they sent me a new battery. They also said they sent messages when I didn't receive them. I also missed a couple of alarms where somebody was in the house and it never came up on my phone. I set the alarm and it didn't happen, and they blamed it on the phone company. Another issue is with the doors, they are open but they don't show that they're open. There's only one door that if I leave it open, that will show. All the doors should be showing if they're open but only one door does. On a positive note, installing their device has been easy, and their team has been good to me.

    Frontpoint is a lot less cumbersome and less intrusive than the last system I've had - with the last system being wired. Frontpoint was really easy to plug and I was surprised I was able to install it myself and it worked fine. I like the fact that I can go on my phone to the app to make sure everything was locked down or modified as needed. I like the interaction, that I can do it myself, and I like the fact that it's easy to shut off and turn on when leaving. Plus I can add other people to it. So right now, it's been a very end-user friendly system. For somebody who's older and not used to all the technical stuff, this really made it easy. And the pricing was a little less expensive per month so it provided a lot more value. I'm real pleased.

    Almost a year ago, I changed my home security service provider to Frontpoint. They were the best rated. During the installation, I encountered a problem. The positioning of the door sensor wasn't right in the manual, it was off-set. It was a minor problem because I did the installation myself but quite irritating. However, I do feel safer.     My experience with Frontpoint has been quite good so far. However, the alarm.com application is a bit clunky. It takes a while to arm and disarm and it doesn't always link with the system perfectly. The only other thing I've noticed that would be a little problematic is the ability to link to other devices. A broader device list would be beneficial. Besides that, everything else has been quite good.

We installed it ourselves, which was pretty straightforward, but we found out that when we stick them on the wall, the sticky stuff doesn't work very well and keeps falling on the floor.     One of the things we like about Frontpoint is we could move it, because we were renting when we got it. It's also flexible because we could get what we need now and change it later. The remote control aspect, we didn't use to have that which I realize a lot of companies have now, is really appealing and has good reviews for how it works and we've been happy with it. When we accidentally set the unit off, the process went as what we expected it to go. In addition, they called after checking to see how it was going and why we hadn't activated it yet. That was good because it was a reminder that it was waiting for us to secure it. So all has been positive so far.

    I use Frontpoint for both my business and home and I have recommended it. I find the price reasonable and the phone app is really easy to use. We haven't had any problems with it. However, sometimes, when the alarm goes off and we get a phone call, if that phone call comes to my cell phone from Frontpoint, I see it as an 800 number. So oftentimes, I don't pick up, which is a real problem. If I knew the number and it was the same number that always calls, then I could put it into my phone as being Frontpoint and have a different ringer for it. I think that would be one thing I would really like to see changed. But other than that, we've been really pleased with it.

    Frontpoint security was easy to put up, but when they set this up, they were supposed to notify the local authorities with my phone, address, and all that stuff. To make the story short, I had an alarm go off and I was in Denver, Colorado; I live in Colorado Springs, which is roughly 100 miles south. The police wouldn't dispatch because they notified the local authorities in Colorado Springs, I live in the county, so they needed to notify the county mounties about that information, so I really didn't have any police coverage. Frontpoint claimed that it was their mistake, and I suggested to them that they make sure where they have the security system and that the correct local authorities are informed. To this day, I don't know if they've done that. It was not a good experience because it kind of worried me trying to get home.
