    I’ve been with Frontpoint for over a year now and they’re very responsive and quick to pick up the phone when I call. In fact, that is one thing I like about them compared to my previous security company. When I call, I’m usually not on hold more than a minute or two. Aside from that, I also like Frontpoint's interactive features. I don’t use it a lot, but I created the interactive plan because there’s a security hole in the system if we don’t buy that plan. So I talked to them about that and they understand what I’m talking about. I have also recommended them to friends.

    I've had Frontpoint for a year and so far my experience has been great. It's portable and installing it was simple. Since then, my sense of security has been better as I had challenges in my own existence that created a need for that. I use the mobile app where it's easier to disarm before my children get home, and I've also been able to change the users, as well as their passcodes, through the online website. I can tell when people are opening and closing doors and that's good. It works and it's helpful for making sure where everybody is and everybody's good. The Frontpoint team was also very helpful. When I called and had a question, they always answered properly and gave lots of good information. Also the billing is easy - I haven't had any problems. It has been pleasant and simple, does what it's supposed to do and I don't have to manage it.

    Frontpoint works in the house well. The product itself is great although it requires intermediate construction skills (like drilling into the door) to install. It's just the three-year contract is my big issue. The original price is a hundred bucks, but it would have been expensive if I didn't get that three-year deal. In the midst of buying everything, you don't really remember that you had a three-year contract as part of the deal of getting the special rate for all the equipment, which is rather costly. I hate contracts. I hate being tied into a three-year contract, so I forgot I had it. We then determined we really don't need monthly monitoring for the neighborhood we live in so I wanted to call to cancel it, but they wouldn't allow me because of the three-year contract. So now I'm just basically paying 30 bucks or something a month. I've turned the system on maybe once or twice since having it for a year.

    My husband installed it and was easy enough for us to do it ourselves. We use the mobile app to set the alarm, and we find it very convenient. Everything's so interactive on the apps. I've had an alarm system most of my life, but I like the idea of being able to do it on my phone. I can see where someone has been to or what windows are open or what doors have been kept open or not shut, etc. We didn't have it with other companies. The system is easy to use and we're very happy with it.

    I did a Google search and Frontpoint was highly rated. I've used them as my home security service provider for about a year. The alarm had gone off a few times and the Frontpoint people have called, so basically the security system works, and I've been happy to see that. I have used the mobile app a little bit outside the house and then I also use the computer to change the code. I like the mobile app. It makes me slightly nervous that someone else could somehow get into it, but it has been convenient once in a while to be able to either set the alarm or check it when I wasn't home.

    However, I had a little bit of an issue when installing my security device. I was having trouble getting the pieces to stick in a couple of windows or a door that I have. I called the Frontpoint guys to help give me advice and they sent me an extra sticky thing. I had had a break-in, so I wanted something quickly, and it was convenient that they were able to send the stuff quickly.

    The Frontpoint reps have all been very positive and helpful. Actually I wasn't sure how much to order, so I ordered even more. There were a couple of items that I wasn't sure I was going to need, but they suggested that I order everything and then return some items if I didn't need them. I didn't realize that I had to have returned them within a certain time. More recently, I decided for sure I wasn't going to use them and decided to return them. They said it was past the date when I was supposed to return it, but then they ended up giving me the refund anyway, so that was good.

    Since installing my Frontpoint security device, it has definitely made me feel more secure, so it's a good thing. The crime rate is going up in DC and there has actually been more break-ins in this neighborhood recently, so I'm happy to have it. My friend's house also got broken into, so I was going to ask him if he wanted the information. I'd recommend Frontpoint. My experience with them has been positive and simple, and the people there have been friendly.

    I've had Frontpoint for less than 2 years and we've had sensors installed on all potential entry points in our home. The installation went smooth and easy except for one door sensor. We had to come up with a creative solution to make that work. We have an old home, so the door and the frame came together differently as compared to how they come today. One of the reasons why I chose Frontpoint is because I get to access and control the system anytime, anywhere. And now with the system installed, I feel better even when I'm not at home.

    We didn't have to have a technician to set up our Frontpoint security device. It was easy to set it up ourselves. Their people have been good too. They call when there are times that we inadvertently activated the alarm or when we opened a door. On three other occasions, probably because they knew that it was activated by mistake, they deactivated it right away. Their mobile app is very convenient also. I only have one problem with the motion sensor. Other than that, it has been a great experience with Frontpoint. It would be very beneficial for anybody to actually have a security system such as Frontpoint. I would highly recommend them.

    I absolutely feel more secure since using Frontpoint. The product and setup was good. I had a lot of indecision, so we sat on it for four months before we installed it. It was very easy to set up and to hide the devices. So, someone trying to break in can't see it and I'm very happy with that. But I didn't know that you can arm the device from a remote location. I can only see the status from my computer. That means they're not marketing it properly because I was not aware of that. In summary, it has been a very good experience with Frontpoint.

    We're completely satisfied with Frontpoint. Installing it was very easy. They helped us with any issues that arose during installation and got it all sorted out. We had a faulty sensor that was causing the system to go off when it shouldn’t and they figured out which sensor it was and helped us get a new one installed. They were very responsive to that. We also have the mobile app and I do use it occasionally. It’s nice especially when I’m being lazy at night and I don’t want to walk back downstairs. Since having Frontpoint, we feel more secure especially if I’m home by myself with just the dog. It’s always been a great interaction with the team and we’re completely satisfied.

    We've been using Frontpoint for about a year now and we've had peace of mind since we had it. It’s good to know that I've got the support anytime that I've accidentally tripped off the alarm because they'd give you a call right away. It's been a positive and simple experience with them plus they have a good customer support. At first, setting up the system was a lot and then I called the 800 number and someone on the phone walked me through step-by-step live on what to do, so it was actually simple.     When an alarm goes off and people from Frontpoint call, they deal with it more efficiently than how they make their contact. Whoever makes the initial call to say that the alarms are going off doesn't know very much. They are not 100% clear. They don't know what alarms are going off or what door. That's an inconvenience. But when I call them back, I think I talk to a different group of people. They're able to tell me exactly what alarms are going off. Other than that, my overall experience with Frontpoint has been good.

    I have a big old house and it is much wide open with over a hundred windows and a lot of porches. I got Frontpoint because I have read other people's experiences. That is one of the positive elements of the internet, one can read about other people's experiences and it makes things a little easier for one to navigate through all the various companies. Frontpoint is one of those companies that anyone would feel good about in the end. I have been with them for about a year now and I feel very comfortable with the system.

    I also got the Frontpoint mobile app and it's easy to deal with. Everything is high quality and user-friendly to install and manipulate. The customer service has been terrific and outstanding. Every time I dealt with them, they're very attentive and take care of all the problems. I've always hung up the phone and say, "Wow! This is a good company." The few times that the system has accidentally gone off, they were right on top of it. I hope they become bigger and better. The only negative thing is the double-sided tape on the motion detector does not seem to stick but maybe it's the area that I set it up. Nonetheless, I'm going to upgrade and get some camera system at some point though I'm not sure how that works.

    I've had Frontpoint since February of this year and they were very cost-competitive. The areas in our home that are priority when it comes to security are the door entries such as the front door and garage door.     Setting up my Frontpoint system was easy, unfortunately you have to call and make sure that you do activate it, and it’s not something you can activate by yourself but outside of that, the installation instructions and the entire setup was flawless, and it only resulted in a 15-20 minute phone call to get the system activated and answer some questions. I live in a very safe neighborhood, and always thinking about security on the forefront is a positive thing, so that I don’t become a victim, so we put monitors throughout the house on all the doors and windows. I’ve been using Frontpoint for more than a year, and I’ve only had to deal with them a couple of times – One for a faulty sensor, and the other during initial setup.

    For the most part, it has been a very easy monitoring system, and they tend to have knowledgeable people when I had to deal with them, so all my issues have been quick to be resolved and I haven’t had to deal with their customer service or support tech. I also rely on the app on my smartphone since I use everything through it, and it’s very easy. I get alerts, and it’s great. The one thing I haven’t investigated is upgrading the system to add things like video and backup power. However, I haven’t researched about it since it’s something I’ve only recently begun to think about.

    Other than that, I just thought it was great that my system was easy to install and I didn’t have to involve a third party other than the activation. Having the smartphone app, Alarm.com, was definitely the main reason I went with them because I wanted to be able to have that control. Also, having the flexibility to add more sensors or take the alarm system with me wherever I went if I decided to sell my house and move was also another selling point. My experience with the company was positive. They’re easy to deal with, and you barely notice the system so I might recommend them to a friend.

    We've been using Frontpoint close to a year. It's affordable and easy to set up. One of the sensors had a little problem sticking but my husband was able to get everything done in an afternoon and didn't have any problems with it. There was one time that my mother-in-law opened the door without having the alarm turned off and I could not remember the password. The Frontpoint person was very patient and made sure that it wasn't somebody messing around in the house. We love the mobile app and I use all the time. I don't know how I would survive without it because I hardly ever put hands on the machine. I now have more peace of mind since my husband is a military and he's gone a lot.

    I have a shop and storage areas on two levels so I have a lot of doors that I have to watch. I got Frontpoint and I've been using them for about a year and a half now. Within the same time, there's one attempted break-in but they didn't get very far. Before, I used ADT commercially for about 10 years in another state but I couldn't talk to anyone on the phone, only to the speaker. As compared to ADT, Frontpoint's system installation is much easier and their reaction time is faster. The system works better, too. I'm much secured because they use the cellphone technology rather than the hard-wired lines. I'm in my 70s and I still work. My wife is at home and I want her to be secure. With Frontpoint, I feel that she's much safer when I'm not at home. When I call them with a problem, they come, fix it, and don't send me a bill. I like them very much and I'd recommend them to anyone.

    We have had Frontpoint for a little over a year. My husband set up the system and it was simple. We’ve accidentally set the alarm off a couple of times. One time, the dog got out of the crate and set off the motion detectors. The Frontpoint team called and we told them it’s false alarm and everything’s really easy in time. Since having it, we felt more secure. We've taken 4 vacations and it’s an added sense of security. We live in the country and there have some break-ins. We put stickers on our door and they’re a deterrent.

    We both have the app on my phone. I love how we can access and control the system anytime because I have kids and sometimes in the morning, I set the alarm and try to get my kids out of the house in time.     We've had Frontpoint for about a year and it was fast, convenient and reliable. The people have been very pleasant, quick and responsive. I've had no issues or concerns. I use the app a lot. The main reason I switched was the fact that I could use the smartphone to arm and disarm the system and being able to set up myself easily as opposed to having an installer come in to put in a new system. The one issue I have is that the price is a little higher compared to some of the new ones that have come out since then. Frontpoint was competitive when I was doing my initial research. The market now is more competitive and it seems that others have cheaper monitoring fee. But I would recommend Frontpoint.

    I've had Frontpoint for about a year and a half. The set up was relatively simple for me to do it myself. Not that it wasn't trouble free, but the technicians did a good job of giving me guidance when I ran into some trouble where I didn't understand some things. The mobile app is very helpful to us. When I'm driving away and I've forgotten, I get a text alert. Then I jump on my app and set the alarm. The use of video has been a couple of ways that we didn't perceive when we first put it in. We travel a lot so with the Frontpoint system in place, I have felt a strong sense of security.

We called them a couple of times, which they're super polite, but they haven't been able to figure out a solution yet on how we can use our new house equipment to be monitored by their service.     I have three things to say about Frontpoint as our home security service provider for one year: easy to use, highly secured and good customer service. Setting up the system was easy. They also have an Alarm.com app that I use most of the time in my iPhone and I really like it. With the security system, I feel safer and have lesser worries. I also bought their water sensor in the basement because the leak in there was horrible. And there were a couple of times that the motion sensor was not sticking to the wall properly, so, I requested for more adhesives from Frontpoint. Their customer service is quickly available, not a whole lot of wait times.

    I started looking into the best security systems on the market. Traditional security systems are vulnerable to the power or the line being cut and they check in very periodically - every four to six hours so somebody knows when I leave and they know when I checked in last. They can easily break into my house by cutting my phone line, be in my house and police are not going to come in anytime soon. That’s why I went with Frontpoint - because it's all wireless and I like that I don’t have to have anybody actually come into our home which to me is anti-security. Letting somebody that I don’t know into the house just raises the security risk, not lower it.

    I've been using Frontpoint for two years now. I have a motion detector in every functional space in the house and I went with all motion detectors because window sensors are fairly easy to defeat. If somebody comes in to the room, there’s really no way to hide from the motion sensor. They come in the room and it’s going to go off. Installation is easy but there are some negatives.

    It’s obvious that Frontpoint doesn’t monitor their own systems. They have a separate company that monitors it. The reason I know it is because three times my alarm’s gone off because of my cat and when the monitoring people call me up, and they’ll say, “Hey, your alarm went off. You want us to send the police?” I set the alarm system up 2 years ago and I’m not going to remember what Zone 5 is. If they tell me, “Hey it’s your guest bedroom”, I’ll say “Oh. Okay, guest bedroom, sure.” So it’s a little troubling that the monitoring company doesn’t have access to that information. They just say “Oh, you can call Frontpoint and ask them,” and that's annoying. They offered me a free trial of the app when I signed up but it wasn't worth the additional cost. I didn’t see that there’ll be enough benefit gain that it would be worth it for me to pay the extra $10 a month.

    Another thing is, Frontpoint oversells a little bit about how well the system works. When I call to set up an alarm system and said I have a cat and they went, “Sure, our motions won’t be set off by anything less than 50 pounds.” My cat doesn’t weigh 50 pounds but the truth is that other companies do have sensors that actually are more cat-friendly. They have a double illumination system - the sensor on each side of the room instead of one side of the room because if a cat gets too close to that sensor, then the sensor will trigger because it will see a bigger image. Our cat has chased bugs throughout the house and set it off 3 different times now.

    I had to move the sensors around a little bit and that makes them a little less theft-effective. There might be a blind spot in the room now from where I had to move the sensor. It was trial and error to try and prevent the cat from setting it off. Other than that, Frontpoint has good service and good equipment, but not if you have a cat.

    We've had Frontpoint back in May last year, when I first moved here to El Paso. I did use something like a personal little Viper home system back at my old apartment. But since I moved here, in an actual house, I needed something that I could connect directly with the police service so Frontpoint was far superior in every shape and form. Installing and using the system was very easy. It's all do-it-yourself. I could just install everything and get connected with a cellular control panel. I had to order an additional adhesive strip because I messed up the first few times, but it was a free shipment sent to me. I haven't touched the actual control panel in over 10 months because I do everything from my phone, using the mobile app. It's amazing. In the event I forget to arm the system, I can just do a quick few taps and it's armed. The front doors have been the priority. Everything is at the lower level because that's where all the entry points are.

    There was one time where I had a false alarm in my garage door and they called me and asked if everything was okay. I raced back home from work, and luckily I got there before the police did. I was able to call them and let them know it was a false alarm so they didn't have to show up. Now that I have the system, I have a peace of mind. The sheer fact that I have a Frontpoint sign in my front yard helps deter anyone because that's usually the biggest deterrent around here. A lot of homes are targeted because they don't have some form of security system but because I do, I don't think burglars will ever want to take that chance.

    Frontpoint's customer service was amazing and very customer friendly. That was the deciding factor why I went with Frontpoint to begin with, simply because compared to all the other security systems or companies, Frontpoint has nearly 5-out-of-5 stars on customer affairs and everything. Vivint has these door-to-door salesmen. I was going to consider them, but not after an experience on a door-to-door salesman being very pushy and just trying to get into my house.

    Pierre, when your alarm goes off, and you quickly run to disarm it we don't call sometimes because that means you got to the panel quick enough to stop the alarm signal from reaching our monitoring station. The system will sound it's entry delay (which you can set up on your myfrontpoint.com account) and then the 15 second dialer delay (the time it takes to send the alarm signal). So we can see this is what has been happening, but if you ever have any other questions or want to test your system just let us know and we'd be happy to help you!

    My only criticism with Frontpoint is that the little rubber that holds the sensors in place doesn't last very long – maybe six months only. So, I have to replace these often. Nevertheless, setting up the system initially was easy. I also called several times to tell them I'm going out of town or let them know I turned off the electricity. I've always had a security system and ever since I've always felt secured and safe. I use it all the time and I don't walk out of the house without it. And then one time that it went off accidentally, the police came and they insisted on checking out the whole house which was very nice. The police and the security system is a good combination. In fact I have recommended it already because they have been so courteous and accommodating.

    I have been using Frontpoint since June of 2014 and they've been very helpful and professional. Setting up the system was surprisingly easy. It's also amazing that I can arm and disarm the system using its interactive feature. It's a very good and convenient feature which I frequently use. I feel more secure because of the fire and smoke sensor more than the thought of someone breaking in. My wife has cooked a couple of times and it has gone off. I have another fire and smoke sensors that were already in the house more or less 20 years ago and I am not sure they would work even though they test okay. My complaint is I can't shut the sensors off and it is piercing. Then they call to see if everything is okay while the alarm is going on and there's nothing I can do about it until the smoke clears. But that's better than it not working.

    I feel positive about them and I would recommend them. There have also been a couple of times when we have messed up and set the alarm off. When my sister-in-law visited us, she opened the door at about four o'clock in the morning to take some trash to the garage and the alarm went off so I know the system works very well. I have no other complaints at this point until they start raising the price on me.

    I had ADT before as my home security provider and comparing it with Frontpoint, I feel much more secure with Frontpoint. ADT's security system is connected to the phone line, which if they would cut it, then they're in. It has been awesome with Frontpoint - the people are great, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We set up the system on our own. I couldn't hear the alarm upstairs so we added another screen so I can hear when the alarm goes off. However, the tapes that come with the motion sensors, they get loose and fall on the floor and sometimes on top of things and break them, which happened to me. They should use a better tape to have those motion sensors put on the wall. So far, I had no burglars trying to come in. They see the sign which leads them another way. I wake up at night, come downstairs and I forget to turn the alarm off which goes off and in a matter of seconds, I get a call from their office. They are reliable and I'm happy to be their customer.

    The Frontpoint reps were very helpful. If I had an issue and I call them, they would help and guide me through whatever problem I was having. Installing the system was a piece of cake. Since having Frontpoint, we have set and disarmed the alarm remotely through the phone system. We have no problem with accessing and controlling our system remotely and it's very easy to use. There’s a sense of security if I'm home or if I'm away since installing Frontpoint. If someone actually breaks into my home, I'll get an alert and a location. When people at home forget that the alarm is set and they go outside, we get a phone call right away. It's a very good sense of security.

    But Frontpoint's monthly fee seems to be a little high compared to other alarm company. And then, I have to sign a trigger contract with them which I would not be signing if I went with another company. Away from that, Frontpoint is a very good alarm company to deal with. I’m very pleased with Frontpoint’s service and tech support. I'd recommend them.

    In the first four weeks of living in my new house, we had no utilities so I had to install the Frontpoint security system by candlelight, but it went all right considering the circumstances. The support team is the best part of Frontpoint. Their technical knowledge has been very good. We used the mobile app for quite a bit when we first moved in. However, we were worried while using the app back then because we didn't who are the contractors that will come to change the locks, and the time that they will be working on it.     Frontpoint is much better than ADT. Installing it was easy and seamless - no issues. I use the mobile app and there have been no problems. I have recommended the system to other people. I was looking into getting some video surveillance cameras set up but they were more expensive than I had anticipated and Frontpoint doesn't offer any wireless equipment. That would be a good opportunity because for the cameras need a power source and wires run but a battery-operated wireless surveillance camera would be state of the art.

    I've been using Frontpoint as my home security service provider for a year and four months already. The installation was relatively easy. The only hiccup was the molding on our door sticks out a lot so I had to rig it a little bit so it would work. I also use Frontpoint's mobile app all the time. It lets me put it on the away or the no entry delay function so the minute the door opens, the alarm goes off. If I put it on the regular setting, I'll have so many seconds before the alarm goes off and then they have another minute before I get called. Having it on the no entry delay is the biggest part. The only way I'll be able to do that is if I'm not home. I can turn it off from my garage as I'm parking my car. I would feel safer just knowing that the security system is there.

The system seems to be working fairly well and I feel secure with Frontpoint since the installation. However, a couple of times I inadvertently ended up triggering the alarm and I know that I immediately disarmed it. They did call after a couple of hours, but I would have expected that Frontpoint would check if it was me or my wife who disarmed the system. That is a bit of a concern for me, but overall, my experience with Frontpoint has been good and I am a satisfied customer.

    My security system before required wiring and hooking it to a phone line so an installer was sent, but Frontpoint just sends the device and it’s easy enough to set it up on my own. Just peel off a sticky and put them on a window or a door or the fire alarms on the ceiling and plug in the base. We also have the alerts whenever a door or window that's alarmed is opened, which is great.

    The only negative thing is that we were promised two for the price of one of the fire alarms, but they ended up charging us for both. Also, they never asked us for the nearest phone number of the fire or police department. So I’ve wondered if my alarm did go off, who would they call to send out here? But I’ve been using Frontpoint for two years now and they’re okay. I have not had an experience to prove to me that they do everything they say they do. I’ve been very fortunate I haven’t had anyone try to break into my home.

But we had an issue because the motion sensors kept falling off the wall because they're just on a double-sided tape, so we just placed it on furniture.     We used to have a home security system where they had wired the system and they had a control box and wires. I wanted to get away from that because wires can be cut or damaged. So I started looking around for a digital and I found that Frontpoint had a good rating. We contacted them and I liked the idea that it came in a box and we could do it ourselves. My husband said it was easy to install and usually he is very challenged with those types of things but he was able to put the sensors up where they needed to go and to get the system up and running. And then I went on the internet and registered and did what I had to do, and we had a good salesperson who helped us as far as setting up the code.

    We've had this system now for less than a year and while we've been away, everything is fine when we come back in and we just punch the code in and it's back to normal. The only thing is I've seen the AT&T system and I wonder if, when I'm away from home, the alarm is on once the garage door shuts. I'd like to see Frontpoint have that option. We travel a lot so it would be good to have something that I could just do by phone if I needed to.

    We like its features. We have grandchildren and they're always running in and out of the garage, and every time the door opens - the garage door, the front door or the back door - it makes a little bell sound so I always know what they're doing. It's also very discreet: it's just a little box that sits on a desk. It's much nicer than our previous security system and it's not complicated at all. That's why we recommend Frontpoint. It's convenient, easy, and economical - the cost is not prohibitive and it's very satisfactory.

    I had a subscription with ADT previously in which all the windows of the house have the sensors with hard-wire. The motion sensors were located at the top corner and they had a wider range. When I moved to Frontpoint, it’s all wireless. I got three motion sensors from them which had to be placed at face level. Because of that, they don't cover everything. And if somebody crawls, it doesn’t identify any motion. Also, it doesn’t cover all the windows as they did not give me enough sensors. So if a thief breaks in through a window that doesn’t have a sensor, then I won’t be alarmed. Before, I have four window sensors. If I could get another indoor window sensor, that would be very helpful for me so that I can cover my upstairs windows.

    Also, ADT got a STAY option that I like. I put my alarm system on when we are inside the house at night or daytime that would only switch the door, window and hard-wired sensors, not the motion sensors. That was a useful feature because we could sleep peacefully at night. With Frontpoint, we do not have that option. It’s either all sensors or no sensors. If I switch on the alarm and go to bed, and accidentally somebody walks through the hallway at night, it goes off. Now if it’s only us family, then we know. But if the guests are home, then we cannot even switch the alarm on during night time because definitely the guests wouldn’t know and in case they have to use the restroom and would walk to the hallway, the alarm goes off. So we don’t feel completely secure. It would be better if we could have that option with Frontpoint.

    Service-wise, they seem to be the same. Their team were helpful and Frontpoint called me when I open the door and I delayed unlocking the home security systems so it’s working then. Installing Frontpoint's device was easy and I like the wireless feature and calling the cell phone anywhere, which was with ADT also. Apart from these little known missing things, otherwise, I’m happy with Frontpoint and it's easy to use. So far, we don’t have issues with them.

    I like Frontpoint way better than the several ones I had prior who were very slow at calling when the alarm went off. Frontpoint calls right away. The only thing I don’t like is that it is not being hardwired, everything has to be stuck with those sticky things. My fire alarm fell down the other day; I need to stick it back up there and my motion sensor doesn’t stay on my wall. But other than that, everybody’s been fabulous and very very nice. I also can tell when the doors been opened, when my kids come home at night. That’s perfect and I’m happy with Frontpoint.

    It's cool to be able to use the Frontpoint's security system anytime, anywhere. It’s better than any other provider and I would recommend it to a friend. I was able to talk to their team for a couple of false alarms and they were very good. I just have to figure out how to arm the screen doors for our two sliding doors because we need those open during the summertime for air, and that's gonna take a little bit more engineering and I haven't gotten around to that yet. Also, I gotta reorder the attachments for the little sign that goes out front because it came off the post and the wind blew the plastic sign away (I think they're gonna charge me for it). It was a piece of junk and I have to replace and re-engineer it. It is one of the most important pieces of the security system - to let casual thieves know that you're armed.

    We lived in Frankfort, a city in Kentucky where the public utility provided a variety of services, one of which was the type of system that Frontpoint has and we had that system for many years. Since the middle of last year, we've used Frontpoint as our home security provider. Everybody I talked to at Frontpoint was helpful and courteous. Also, installing our Frontpoint security device was an easy process and there was good technical support. We haven't tried the mobile app or any of the other interactive features since we've got a number of balls we're juggling here that are time-consuming. We've basically gotten a level of service which is effective and satisfactory. We haven't done much more than that, but we're happy with what we've got. The security system will be effective if we have a problem. We may, at some point, add one or two features to it. But at the moment, we've got other fish to fry and we're not thinking about it yet.

    We started using Frontpoint sometime last year. We had a massage therapy business and had a lot of expensive equipment and supplies. We wanted to be sure that whenever we left at the end of the day, everything was secure. I did lot of internet research and Frontpoint had the best reviews. I liked how Frontpoint's pricing was straightforward and upfront. We went through a lot of different price quotes before going with Frontpoint. Everybody else had all sorts of hidden expenses, they'd tell one thing online and another thing on the phone. And when they get the customer there, all of a sudden it would be hundreds of dollars more than what they originally quoted.

    There was one price quote where we were initially told it was only going to be $99 to set everything up and that they would send somebody to look over the equipment we already had. They got out there and by the time they were done, it was going to be about $150 more than what we've been quoted with Frontpoint. So I sent an email back to the person I spoke with at Frontpoint and asked if their price still held true. He said yes so we signed up with them. If I will be spending hundreds of dollars, I would spend it with the company that quoted the price that they meant and not switching a fake price.

    Every interaction with Frontpoint has been great. As the seasons change, the sun change directions to the point where it was reflecting on a mirror that was giving us false alarms. When we had to move the motion sensor, the guy that was helping me out was absolutely excellent. We were able to figure out where to move the motion sensor to so that it would do its job without being set off by false movement of light shining through the windows. Everything has been excellent but I don't have it setup in my house yet. I took over the lease of it after we closed the office in July. I've been paying for it but I haven't had the time to call whenever somebody is in the office to help me with the setup because I have kitty cats that would likely set it off.

    We used to have ADT installed in our home before we transferred to Frontpoint. I like Frontpoint better because they weren’t trying to make a ton of money on equipment like ADT. If I wanted to add things or expand the system with ADT, they insisted that I buy the stuff from their installers who always try to sell more than what is needed. But with the Frontpoint solution, I asked about adding pieces or reusing pieces from my ADT system, and they said, “Yeah, we don’t care where you get it. Look, if you go and shop on Amazon you can buy all the parts yourself if you want to buy extra sensors.” Every one of the existing pieces I had from ADT worked with Frontpoint's system and they actually helped me program them to make them work.     I like Frontpoint's services because their alarm system works off a cellular phone chip and through the cellular phone towers so in case someone disconnects our internet or electricity to break into our home, the system would still be running. I really like their cameras, too. But I think their outside cameras are way too expensive. I want to get the surveillance cameras, but the price is holding me back from buying. Other than that, it was pretty easy to install the device, their staff has been pretty helpful when I call them, and it doesn't take too long for them to answer the phone, so I recommend Frontpoint.

    I don't have any complaints so far using Frontpoint for one and a half year. Setting up the system was easy. It hardly took me 20 minutes to set it up but I ended up calling someone to help me and that person even explained how the sensor works into the door. Their mobile app works. I have three phones and have it on all those phones. I'm using it all the time. The app also gives me the log list (the time the door opened and when somebody has logged into my account). I's helpful, convenient and impressive.

    The reason I got the Frontpoint security is because I moved from an apartment to house. I was using a baseball bat and things nearby me when I go to bed. After I installed the security system, I never had any problem. I also moved to the second floor of my house because I'm now using their motion sensor in the first floor. I can have a peaceful sleep now and feel secured with the system. One time I was in Florida and my back door was still open middle of the night. I forgot to put up the security system and was not able to log in on my app. I ended up calling Frontpoint. They went to my house and closed the door and they said it was open due to bad weather. They were very helpful.

    I have been using Frontpoint as my home security service provider for almost a year now. Before, I had Safe Home and ADT. Compared to them, Fronpoint's responses are better. I liked it because they have a cellphone inside and the rates are $10 cheaper than other competitors. Plus they have what I was looking for. I didn't want to pay too much but wanted a reliable security.

    I set up my Frontpoint system based on the instructions and added some extra devices that they have from the older versions, which they helped me with so that was good. It was easy to add on more devices. I could monitor from my cell phone - turn it on and off. I don't have a camera but in the next upgrade, I will be looking for that so I can see who is in front of the house. When I called their team, the response I got was quite fast.

    With Frontpoint, because I carry my phone always, I carry the security system always and I carry less things, so that's an advantage. So far, I have never had any big events like having somebody break into my house or triggering the fire alarm, so my system has not passed a real test. I don't want any of those things to happen though but I liked the performance because I can see that they are giving what they promised to give. In fact, I recommended them to a friend and they already signed up on using it.

    I had a horrible experience with Frontpoint. I called Frontpoint and I felt really nice so I went with them. I should have just gotten another quote. I paid $800 for the security system and then the cameras don’t work right. I have to get my own electrician to install it and they didn’t do it right. Also, they didn’t tell me that I needed a Wi-Fi password or the Comcast password which I didn’t have. They also didn't say that I have to hook it up to the wi-fi. I have used it for 16 months so far and I didn't know I was in a 36 month contract. The only good thing is that it beeps but I could’ve put a beeper on my door for $50 month. When I tried to cancel it, the guy was really rude and he hung up on me after I told him I don't have the password. I said, “Can you hold on for a second?” He said, “Well, just call me when you have it or I can email it to you.” The only person that was nice was the one who offered me to break it early for $400.

    When we moved I called Frontpoint and they walked me through how the process would work. They put the system on standby mode for the time that I'm moving and then he also sent me some reattachment adhesive for the sensors. And then when we got to Albuquerque, he followed up with us a few times. We were just so busy and swamped, started to move job, so I really never even got around to it until last week. But then I called, he walked me through, check the battery and let me know that the system is ready to go. It's been pretty pleasant.

    The reason we got the system was because I took a job in another city about 2 hours away and I was going to be spending most of the week there and my wife was going to be home alone. And so we got the system as a peace of mind for her being there by herself and peace of mind for me knowing that if anything happens I'll know about it.

    My wife and I both have the mobile app on our phone and we like it. One day we came home and we saw that we didn't set the alarm and we've been gone for a while and there were some stuff happening in the neighborhood and there were something that wasn't where we thought it was when we left and so we were really freaked out. Since we didn't set the alarm, we checked to see when the sensor was last opened and it was last opened when we left 4 days earlier. So it was nice to know that none of the doors has been opened while we were gone even if we didn't set the alarm.

    We moved into this brand new apartment complex and they have security hardware already built in with extensions to the doors. I've got a center module and I don't think Frontpoint at some point can put their service on the better equipment. That will be the only thing that would make it more convenient but we were just as fine putting the sensors back where we had them. I'd recommend them.

    I checked around and found that Frontpoint had the best reviews so I chose them. I got it as cheap and modern as I can get, at about $30 per month. I didn't realize however that I had to sign a three-year contract with them. If I'd known that, I wouldn't have done it. Their people seem to know what they're doing. One time, something set the alarm off at about 3 o'clock and everyone was watching a movie. Frontpoint called me, asked if everything was alright, and gave the pass code. When I decided I was going to cancel because I got tired of paying the monthly bill, their rep also explained to me about the three-year contract and that I would have to pay a whole lot of money for cancellation. They were nice about it but I was still shocked to hear it since they didn't make that clear when I first signed-up with them.

    Their people are good and the installation was also really easy, but the equipment seems to be not as good as it should be. I may have not put the sensors right since I did it myself, but I simply placed them where the instructions told me to - the two sensors have to be pretty close to each other. Furthermore, the sensors aren't really reliable - they keep falling from where they're placed. I got tired of putting them back up and finally just left them out. I don't even use the system nor set the alarm anymore when I leave the house. I'm only paying the bill now because I have to.

There's even an option now to do your own monitoring where you can get a live feed to your phone. I like that we can put the sensors up ourselves, and when something didn’t work quite right, we called their team about a couple of issues and we even got sent an extra sensor once. Some interactive feature was provided for 90 days for free when we signed up. Although it was intuitive and useful, I didn't keep the subscription because I didn't use the remote capabilities enough to justify the extra cost. I also had an issue with the sensor as its battery died like every 4 months, so I called them and they replaced it for free. I would recommend it.     I called Frontpoint so many times trying to find somebody to order. They only have options for new customers and for cancellation. I don’t have an option to order more equipment and sensors so every time I try to press 0 to take me to customer service so that they can help me, I get disconnected. Also, sometimes when I call I can’t get them to answer the call but the person that helped me was very nice. Their team is good, professional and very knowledgeable. In the beginning I was panicking because I have never done anything like installing something but I called in and they guided me on how to do it and then I found out it’s really easy.

    I like that I can disable Frontpoint from my cell phone and then I can see the sensors when somebody passed by in the house and what time my daughter comes home. I had ADT before and ADT doesn’t have that. Hopefully we won’t have a problem with Frontpoint and so far it was good. I don’t have any complaints. My experience was easy, beautiful and nothing complicated. I would highly recommend them to my friends. I did it already with some and a couple of them love it.

    I've had Frontpoint for a little under a year. Their customer service is excellent and the business model is very good. They stand out from the rest. I haven't been disappointed at all from that perspective and am very satisfied. I prefer that nobody comes into my house.     Frontpoint definitely gives me peace of mind. I was living in a tough part of Wilmington, Delaware when I first got it. It makes me feel better because everything's covered. I've had them for three years and it's a good system. I have no gripes about it. Setting it up was really easy, too. I got a main box and I went ahead with the setup. The sensors were all wireless so I only had to stick them to where I needed them to be. Then I turned it on and got a call from Frontpoint to initialize the setup. It was trouble free.

    I tried to use ADT but they scheduled and rescheduled my appointment many times, so I switched to Frontpoint. They were very quick in answering my questions and gave me everything I needed right in time. The installation went good. I also use the arming and disarming feature on their app, but the only thing I’d like to add is if they had options at the same time since the security cameras are very expensive and I have to use a different set of cameras.     I have been using Frontpoint as my home security service provider for about a year. In terms of house security, our priority is the living room and the garage, to ensure that nothing gets stolen. My fiance is living by herself so I am also concerned about her personal security especially at night. Setting up the device was very easy. I just followed the instructions in the box. One of the sensors wasn't reading correctly so I called and the person I spoke to was able to help me out and fix everything remotely. He got everything working on the first try. I have their monitoring system on my phone so I can arm and disarm and see who's coming in and out of the house with the individual security code. It's great. If I forget to put the alarm, I can look at my phone and set it while I'm not there or if people are coming over, I can disarm it for them.

    When it comes to security, our priority is all the doors and our large windows. We have Frontpoint but before, we tried to use another home security provider. However, when we called their customer service on a weekday between 9 to 5, no one was picking up. We found that a little strange. On the other hand, the Frontpoint team have been good and they were able to answer all my questions. So comparing the two, Frontpoint's service is much better.

    Installing Frontpoint security device went good. And since then we feel better about our security. But I'm not sure how effective the glass detectors are. One time our alarm went off when my toddler screamed. Another thing is I don't like being on the smartphone because someone hacked it. But my experience with Frontpoint has been good. I just find it a little expensive but it’s okay.

    We’ve had a problem installing Frontpoint’s window sensors, and when we open the windows, one of the little sensors pops up. It’s the width of the magnet, and so when we open the window, we have to be careful that those don’t pop up. We also had trouble with their app, since we couldn’t tell if it was working or not, so I don’t use it anymore. However, their team provided my husband with good install instructions, and he was happy with it. I’m also comfortable with the Frontpoint system, and I’m also happy to have it. There isn’t anything to complain about. It works, and that’s all we want. I’d recommend them.

    I've used Frontpoint for about a year or so and I'm happy with them. The whole process was easy, but I was frustrated about putting all the little sticky things up by myself because it was hard. I guess I'm lazy and didn't want to be the one doing that part. Other than that, everything was smooth and it did work fine. When I got the box, there were some wires that popped loose in the back. I didn't even know what they were, but the people from Frontpoint walked me through taking the back off that thing and reattaching some wires somewhere. So that went okay. There was also one time when the fire alarm went off and they called me. My husband had done something stupid and it wasn't a real fire. But the fire smoke alarm worked and we're fine.

    I had the opportunity to try a Frontpoint interactive feature too but chose not to take it. Personally, I don't like a lot of apps on my phone so an app from my home security isn't on my list of things to do. However, all the ways into my house are top priority when it comes to security. Right after I put in my Frontpoint device, I felt more secure. But I don't dwell on my home security so I don't think about it anymore. Overall, I was happy with the experience.

    I did research on the web about security devices, and chose Frontpoint’s services since ADT has really out-marketed themselves, and the more they get their devices out there, it’s easier for people to think out ways to disable them. So far, my Frontpoint experience has been great. We put our devices in ourselves, and got it up in 20 minutes.

    We accidentally set the alarm off one morning, and their reps called us right up. I forgot my code, so I told them a different one that I could remember, and she thanked me, then hung up. I thought I got the code right, and the next thing I know, the cops were knocking at the door saying they got a call from Frontpoint. They came in, and made sure who we were. I called Frontpoint and told them I gave the wrong code, but the rep remembered what it was, so we know what the code is now and we won’t make that mistake anymore. I also feel safe with the protection that we’ve got, and we’ve been thinking about a camera but we need the price to come down a bit since we can’t afford it out. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend Frontpoint to anyone.

    All areas in our homes are top priority when it comes to security. So we have Frontpoint in two of our homes: in my primary home, it's been there about two and a half years now, and in my secondary home, I've had it for about six months. Before Frontpoint, I had AT&T and from a service standpoint, they're similar. But Frontpoint has an edge because of the wireless system and I had less equipment problems with them. The installation was easier too.

    Recently, I had an issue with my phone app in setting and not setting the alarm for my secondary home. Frontpoint ended up changing a piece of hardware. They mailed it to me and it worked well and smooth. It took some time, but that wasn't a problem. It’s important for me to be able to access my system all the time.     We chose Frontpoint since it is using a cellular network as opposed to landline. The price was also good, and their customer service seemed to be excellent as well. Their android app, which is what we used, has never caused us any problems. It is easy and simple, and even the web interface is intuitive. We've always done it that way since day one. One of the things that I do wish that they would have included is some more sticky pieces to glue the connectors on the walls or on doors as some of those were lacking. Besides that, set up was super-easy and it's kind of walk through it. Re-branding has been a little different to go through with them because they were all orange logo and another was green tea, but I've been impressed with them overall.

But it could have been better if it has the user interface (UI) - there's no UI touchscreen.     I've had Frontpoint for over a year. They have courteous and friendly staff and the system does what I need it to do especially for my front door and sliding back door. Installing it was straightforward - simple and with no hassles. It's also convenient that I am able to arm or disarm the device from my phone or from the webpage. I have an alert set at 10 o'clock and I get a page in case I forget to set my alarm. When I need to go out of town, I feel safer if something would happen because somebody will be here.

    The only thing is the rates that they charge monthly are not very competitive to other providers offering similar service. They should consider doing something a bit more on the competitive side because there are other companies like SentrySafe who aren't tying anyone into any contract. Once my 3 year contract is up, I may be switching over to something that is cheaper granting the service is okay.

    I'm in law enforcement and because of Frontpoint, I sleep better at night and I couldn't ask for any better. The system was referred by my associate's daughter. Installing it was easy, but had problem getting the sensors matched up with the door casing. But I was able to solve the issue and there was no trouble with it falling off.

    The team at Frontpoint has been really good. I forgot to set the alarm one day and I walked out the side door in my garage and before I could make it through my pole about 40 yards away out there they called me on the phone. I also got their mobile app and I'm set up for all of that. It's great but it's dependent on the internet and where I live it's not always the greatest. I get Verizon Wireless to my house and the signal sometimes is not very good but I'd recommend the system of Frontpoint to anybody. It's good security and it's relatively inexpensive for 42 bucks worth of pay a month. I just wish I had a permanent wireless internet because I don't have that if I'm back in the woods and I'd like to have a camera system in there too.

    I wanted to get a security system for my new home. I did some research online on different providers - the best price range and the best service. I figured out that Frontpoint was the best for me although I had somebody who would come out from ADT, they promised they but they didn't come through with it. I've got a neighbor that has ADT and he's got number of complaints about his service. And he said when his alarm goes off, they won't respond to it.     Installing the security device was gravy train. It was very simple, and after I got everything installed, all I needed to do was make a phone call and Frontpoint ran me through setting the whole thing up. That went quickly and they could see that all my sensors were working correctly. I haven't had any problems since then. It was an easy setup compared to ADT and some others where they run wires all through your house and then you have to pay extra to get a telephone wire operation system. So many people have landline systems and they can just cut the wires and that's the end. Frontpoint's system is very safe in that regard and nobody can affect the system from outside.

    I trust the system. I've made mistakes a few times - opened the door forgetting that the system was on, then it went off and made a lot of noise, so I'm happy that it's working fine. I did have one problem one time which was battery-related. I talked to a very knowledgeable guy on the phone who took me through the whole situation and we solved the problem. Their team has always been kind, courteous, and helpful. They also send me emails and things to look for and worry about.

    Overall, my experience has been very good. I wouldn't have any trouble recommending them. Although, everybody would like to see the price be a little bit lower. Lastly, I would have wanted to put in some video cameras but unfortunately, I don't have continuous Wi-Fi in my house, which the surveillance system requires, so I wasn't able to put those. I was disappointed with that but I can't say that it's really their fault per se.

    We've been using Frontpoint for about a year and few months now and everything has been going well. Setting it up was fairly simple, my husband didn't have any issues doing it. They've been great, very responsive and definitely add a sense of security and peace of mind to the family. I have not yet come around to downloading the mobile app but turning the system on and off remotely would help. My mom knows the code but she had a difficult time turning it off at one point. I couldn't get the confirmation call because I was at a meeting. They had already dispatched the police and fire department but Frontpoint was able to stop them. They didnt show up so that was a good thing.

    However, when I started my contract we weren't moved in so we weren't using the service. I asked to see if they can prorate it aqnd had to fill out a form which is too complicated for me so I didn't end up doing it. I paid for about 3 months that I didn't use the system. Additionally, I heard on the radio of another company that's similar to Frontpoint and were offering zero down and didn't charge anything for the equipment which Frontpoint does for a couple of $100. It's too bad because I am under contract and have already paid for my system.

    I had my previous alarm for around three years and mostly used it when I was out of town as a simple alarm but Frontpoint has a lot more bells and whistles on it for the price and set up that I went with. It was very easy and helpful calling the helpline to set it up and even when troubleshooting it. We've had a sensor that was giving false alarms but it was very easy to pick up the phone and have someone walk you through the whole thing very patiently. I use the Alarm.com app almost exclusively. That's the best thing. I have a step-daughter that was keeping our house while we were in Italy and she forgot to turn the alarm on. So, I was able to turn it on from Italy and I like that.     I'm used to having security systems. Ive been around security in different businesses and I wanted to try Frontpoint because they were highly recommended. The response is very good and I was happy with their service. But right now, I still have another system I still haven't replaced which I'm going to deactivate very shortly. The only reservation I have is the fact that it's a DYI. They should have someone that can install their stuff. I'm not saying they have to do it 24/7 but they should make something like that available in each state or area. People want to have these things done especially I have cameras in them.     I wanted to have a home security system installed when I bought a new house and learned that Frontpoint had good ratings when I did some research on the internet. Setting up the system was pretty simple. They sent me everything in the mail and I was able to figure it out, go around and put everything in operation. The team has always been easy to get a hold of and they’re very responsive. They helped me understand how to use the system and how to deal with any issues that come up. After putting it in it works as advertised. It’s been over a year now since I used Frontpoint and since then, I feel more secure. I have a sign out front and when people come near the door they hear it beeping.

    I didn't want to get Frontpoint because I had nothing which someone can take that I'd care much about. However, my girlfriend cares a little more than I do so we ended up getting Frontpoint. We've been using them for about a year now and I like it. There's a sense of security which is good. Although I was only persuaded to get it, it's nice to have at the least. We have had a couple of false alarms but the team from Frontpoint has always been good. The alarm system is through cellular reception and although I have a crappy cell reception around my house and I have to keep my base so far away from my front door, it's good that I am able to set and disarm the system from my phone through their mobile app which I use all the time.

    I'm away a lot so it's also nice to be able to get on their interactive feature and know that none of my doors or windows are open. It's convenient. I was backpacking and I had to be at certain points to get a cell reception. I got an indication from Frontpoint saying that I had a low battery. It's neat that I got it from the top of the mountain and I can call if I can. It's a good system. I also like that people can gain access to my house if they have to without me giving them the code.

    Frontpoint's been good. My only concern is that it sometimes goes off and they don't call. I am wondering how long this should be going off before Frontpoint will call us. I don't know how fast Frontpoint is. But we feel safer having it. If somebody breaks in the house, it feels like there's somebody else other than me who will let the police and emergency know.

    Linette, great question. Generally your system will start beeping before the alarm goes off. This is your entry delay and the amount of time you have to disarm your system can be set by you within your myfrontpoint.com account! Once the actual alarm goes off, it takes 15 seconds to travel and get to our monitoring station at which point they will call you. If you disarm your system during that entry delay or that 15 seconds, your alarm is cancelled and you will not be called.     My wife and I married in 2007. Prior to me moving in, she had a security system but it wasn't being used when I moved in. For a number of years, we didn't use a home security system and my wife kept insisting that we get one. I went on the internet, did a little research and read a lot of customers' views on the big guys like ADT and some of the bigger ones. I was very unhappy with the things I read then I saw Frontpoint. We got them and have been using them for about a year now. Setting it up was super easy. When I received the kit, it took me a total of an hour to install it, call Frontpoint, set it up, test it, and be done. It was a self installation system which was one of the selling points. We preferred not having a technician coming in our house and learning exactly how our security system works, because he could easily give that information to somebody to defeat the system.

    When I first called Frontpoint and ordered the system, I did it over the phone. They told me what I needed to do to give them accurate information and get a reliable system set up. They're really helpful. We told them what we needed, ordered it, and it was shipped on the day that was said it was going to be shipped. We installed it and it worked exactly the way they said the first time. We use the mobile app all the time, too. My wife and I both have it on our phones and generally use an app to disarm the system as we're pulling in the driveway almost daily. It's useful and it serves a good purpose.

    However, there are occasions when we try to get on the mobile app from our phone and can't get in because there are problems. It will say, "Cannot log you in." Everybody has internet issues but once a month, we'll have problems and have to come in the house and disarm the system manually from the keypad. Other than that, we've had no problems with it. My wife feels a lot better about it. A happy wife is a happy life so it's made my life nicer.

    Frontpoint is absolutely a great company with an excellent service. I've been approached by many other security companies. Some big companies have offered a free year of service to swap out. I refused to let go of Frontpoint and change even though it came to about $42 a month for monitoring. I could have gotten a year free monitoring from other companies but I just flat out told them, "It isn't worth it to go with you guys from what I've read."

    We've been using Frontpoint for more than a year. It was easy to install and we didn't need much help from their people. The app is good, but the only thing I'd like is more fine-grain control for other users when using it. Right now if you give someone control through the app, they have access to everything which I don't like. So I have not been giving others access through the app, just the panel.

    I had Frontpoint for about a year and at first, I had to piece things altogether myself but it was easy. The team at Frontpoint was good, but they didn't serve what I needed. I had to buy everything individually - thermostats, door locks, etc. if I wanted to automate it. I hardly used it because we had accidentally set it off a few times and had started to have to pay for all the false alarm visits from the police. So I got rid of them and went with Vivint, which is way better. I live in Hawaii and being in a remote place, a lot of the stores didn't sell all the home-automation things that I wanted and Vivint came in without a charge. They brought the contract and put in all the home-automation that I wanted in more than a month.

    I wanted to upgrade and use a newer technology and when I called Monitronics they said there are some charges for it. I didn't want to pay that charge, so I switched to Frontpoint. The people that explained things to me before I subscribed and purchased were very good in terms of knowledge and answering my questions. I didn't have any situations where I needed to call them again after that. The package they sent out was the real stuff, I installed it myself and setting it up was very easy. I also installed the mobile app although I haven't used it yet, but it's something I need to look into in the next couple of days because I want to be able to activate or deactivate my alarms from far away distances.

    There were a couple of times when there was an error and they got the wrong signal though. It happened twice that I go home and when I disarm my alarm, Frontpoint would call me around twenty minutes later and say my alarm went on and to ask, "Is everything okay?" and I say, "No. My alarm never went on. I was in the house. I didn't hear it." It would definitely be nice to have somebody check it out because otherwise, if one time it's a real thing then they might think that it's a false alarm. The self-installation looks nice and professional and the transition part is very good but I haven’t really liked the way I experienced it.

    It's fairly easy to set the Frontpoint security system up. Their team is knowledgeable and easy to work with. The system was good at first, but now I can't hardly get it to work because I can't keep any of the sensors up. I'm paying $43 a month right now for a system that I can't really use. Overall, Frontpoint is good service, but cheap parts. I would cancel the system in two seconds if I could.

    I've used Frontpoint as my home security provider for about two years. It was very easy for me to set up my system since I do that type of work. I have all of their interactive features, including the mobile app. It's good being able to access and control my system at anytime from anywhere but other companies, like ADT, offer this service too.

    I used ADT before Frontpoint. They use about the same equipment. One thing though that Frontpoint doesn't do that ADT does is that whenever there's a connection low, they call and make sure everything's okay. So that's not up to my standards with Frontpoint -- they're not as hands-on. But as far as the mobility of their unit, it's perfect.

    I don't like the equipment though. Their touch-screen is not compatible with the old model I have and they don't give any discount for the equipment that I have so I had to upgrade with a full price versus a discounted price and I lose money like that. Other companies give you the whole new system where one doesn't have to pay anything when swapping it out after about a year. But I'm happy with Frontpoint. It's fine for me, for right now.

    We got a rental house that was broken into so we put Frontpoint there, which my husband found online, and then put it in our house. Altogether, we have three units. One sensor for the motion detector, however, fell off the wall where it was mounted so they dispatched the police. They called us first but we were not home. The dog didn't set off the alarm because she wasn't home too. So now I have to go to a false alarm school for a two-hour class. We attached it with what we were given but we had moved it a couple of times before so I don't blame them for that. Maybe that's the reason it wasn't attached to the wall that securely. So now when we leave, we don't put the motion detector on, just the doors. But overall we're satisfied. Installing it was easy and we feel a little more secure that it would go off if someone was in the house.

    We were buying and selling houses, doing some house flipping and got Frontpoint as our protection against losing materials and tools because we've been broken into a couple of times already. Installing it was very easy. We talked to the reps a couple of times when the alarm went off, and they were easy to deal with and have been very helpful. Unfortunately, we're not in a business at the moment, and since we signed a two-year deal I can't get out of the year that I would like to not have to pay, but that's not their problem. They've been very upfront and a pleasure to work with. We use their mobile app all the time, and it is a great thing to have.
