Installing the security device was very easy. I haven't been in contact with Frontpoint since we set the device up because I haven't encountered any issues so far. I use the app all the time and it’s exactly what I need.

I have been very pleased with the equipment and service so far. I love having the mobile app because it eliminates any need to hurry to exit after arming or rushing to the control panel upon entering the house. If I have any complaint at all, it would be that the lights on the control panel are too bright but it's a minor complaint.

We are pretty happy with Frontpoint. Installing the security device was very pleasant. Since having Frontpoint, it gives me a little more peace of mind when I'm not at home. I use the mobile app all the time, I like being able to access the system on the go. Their team is also very professional when I talk to them and the system is easy to maintain. I'm very happy with it.

I never had any issues with Frontpoint. It has always been good. Installing it was really easy but it's hard to get the door monitors to match up if there's an outline around the door frame. We always just set it when we leave and disarm it when we come home or when we go out of town. It made my wife feel a little more safe when I was out of town. It's simple and easy.

Some of the sticky stuff didn't stick when I was installing the device, so I had to get sticky tabs to get some of the motion sensors to stay up. But other than that, our Frontpoint security system is working great.

I moved to my new house last year and I wanted to get a good security device. My neighbor recommended Frontpoint but I also heard other options like ADT and other companies. I checked online for reviews about Frontpoint and I really liked it, so I decided I want to go with them. The installation was very straightforward. When I had any question, I could call the Frontpoint security representative, and it was fairly simple to install the system. You don’t need someone from Frontpoint to come to your house and install it for you. The reps were helpful and knowledgeable.
I use the alarm.com app to activate, deactivate or do anything with my system. It's pretty convenient and a good option if you forget to activate your alarm and you’re right outside. Also, you can use it to check your sensors and activate the system from remote location. Since installing Frontpoint, I’m less worried about my house when I’m not inside. I can be sure that if something happens, it will definitely trigger my alarm and it will be taken cared of as soon as possible.
I personally think that when you get the service in the beginning, you get sensors for less price or maybe some promotional value. But when you try to add some more sensors with them, it’s quite expensive and I didn’t like that about Frontpoint security. If I want to add some glass break sensor, the cost that I have been quoted was too high if you compare it with other companies. So I hesitate to add more sensors unless I’m getting good price quote or some discounts since I’m a loyal customer. But other than that, it's a very secure and convenient system to use, and I'd recommend Frontpoint.

Frontpoint is cool. I like to use the app so I can turn my system off, but I’m still struggling to get it working. It worked at first, but then stopped. I’ve reset the password and it worked for a while, but it’ll just stop working again, so it’s in the stop working phase now. Other than that, I’m still happy with them.

I was a little bit a butter finger, but the installation went well. I use the app on my cell phone to set and reset the alarm, and it's pretty great. I'd recommend Frontpoint.

I chose Frontpoint because of the price. I had a little problem installing the security device in the beginning but everything is fine. I feel safer, and their mobile app is great.

I’ve had ADT as my home security provider before, but I love Frontpoint much more than them. It was relatively easy setting up my Frontpoint system, and their team was always friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that they’re willing to take the time and have the patience to help me set up my system properly without rushing me up. The only time I had an issue with their team was when my camera had a problem, and we had to go through all the steps, which took about an hour so it was not very fun. I also use their mobile app, and I like it since it was one of the factors that sold me on Frontpoint, and since installing my Frontpoint devices, I feel that my home is secure when we’re away. It also provides me more confidence compared to my ADT system. Frontpoint has an easy to use system with great customer service, and I’d recommend them.

I lost my husband and we live in the country. My daughter-in-law looked up online and researched for me, and Frontpoint was the highest rated provider. I looked at 3 or 4 companies but Frontpoint turned out to be the first people I called and they looked like they're the best deal and the easiest to manage so I decided to go with them. I did all the installation myself and it was easy. I love the app - if I forget to turn the system on before I leave, I can get it on. I felt safer with Frontpoint since I am the only one staying at our house. It gave me peace of mind. Every single time I called them, they gave me immediate answers and walked me through. They’re very attentive to making sure the customer is first and foremost. Frontpoint has been outstanding.

We've had Frontpoint for about 15 months. The installation process was straightforward so it was not difficult. But recently, we had an interaction with their team that was not all great. The alarm was tripped when my mother was visiting and we were out of town. We couldn't remember the password we had put on the account 15 months ago. So Frontpoint couldn't give us any information and they had no backup system in place - social security number or security questions to help people who lost their passwords in times of crisis. We had to call back five times. We eventually remembered our password, but it was remarkable that they didn't have a better system in place. However that aside, Frontpoint does provide a better sense of security.

ADT was supposed to come out and install my system but they didn’t, and I got robbed again while waiting so I went with Frontpoint. All has been good. Their people are very professional. I use the mobile app to turn on/off the alarm, and I like it. If somebody breaks into my house, I'll know about it and the cops would be notified. But recently I have people at my house 24/7 so I wanted to turn my system off but I found out that it’s a 3 year contract. I was not happy about it.

I had no problem installing Frontpoint myself. I’ve called Frontpoint number of times when I had some devices fail and they’ve been very responsive and either helped me through the problem or corrected it by replacing the device or the piece that failed. I also use their mobile app everyday. I'd recommend Frontpoint.

I previously had ADT and I liked its monitoring feature much better than Frontpoint's. I was also able to access and control my system while on the go with ADT and I had more functionality back then. I was able to talk to Frontpoint's team over the phone and they were just all right. I can set my alarm through my phone but that’s about it. Overall I don’t have any complaints about Frontpoint and I'm happy with them.

It was very easy to set up and use Frontpoint's security system. Anytime I've talked to them it was not like talking to the console. It's all been positive. I had an experience with their team when we forgot the system was on and couldn't remember our password, but we were able to turn that off before the police came out. I've had another security system hardwired into the house when we bought it but Frontpoint was much more flexible and easy to use. I never used the other one.
We use the mobile app all the time, and being able to access and control the system anytime and anywhere was much better than any of the other providers. We feel comfortable with it when we're gone for we know exactly what's going on in the house. We can go check at any time so we feel more secure. We had once somebody watching our house who went in but forgot the system was on. He managed to call us and we were able to turn it off from Connecticut back to Texas before the alarm notice went to the police. I recommend it whenever I get in a session with others concerning using a security system.

We noticed that the system recognized that the kitchen door is open but when we came home, we didn’t have to turn off the alarm because the alarm didn't turn on. I see that the sensors are right there where they should be so I’m not exactly sure what the problem is. Everything is not too good right now because I don’t know what is wrong. I haven’t had any bad experience with them up until now. They helped me once when there was a fire and they reacted quite fast.

I bought Frontpoint because they were the best out there and because my previous security provider (the one that came with the house) wasn't that good. Customer service far exceeds my expectations. Every time I call up, it's excellent. They call every time something goes off. The device is fine and everything works well. I love the mobile app. It helps when I'm on the road and my dog sitter forgot her phone or forgot what she was supposed to do. I can turn it off for her and she can do everything when she gets to my home. Since installing it I feel more secure because when it does go off and it was past 30 seconds, they call me right away. That makes me feel good.
The only thing I wasn't happy about was the issue I've had down in my basement. I had to rig it to a point that it would meet up. There was nothing that Frontpoint could give me to make it meet up so that contacts would work correctly. So, I came up with my own little device. But it's nothing that would have stopped me from keeping it for another year.

Frontpoint’s devices didn’t run off a phone line, and if someone were to break in, the alarm signals and notifications would still go out, so I went with the company. I tried their mobile app and liked it a lot, since it’s very convenient. Also, installing their devices wasn’t hard at all, and one door sensor wasn’t working, so I called customer service. I also called them when I had issues like false alarms and other stuff, and I’ve had fewer worries since installing my devices. The experience has been good so far, and I’m happy.

The customer service of Frontpoint has been good. Every time I call, they have always been able to answer my questions. I have the app on my phone and I like it especially sometimes when I forget to set the device when I’m leaving.

I've had Frontpoint for a couple of years and my experience with them has not been very good. My son has Frontpoint up at our condo in Steamboat and he's able to tell when somebody's walking around the condo. He doesn't see the person, but he knows when there's movement like when the door opens or closes. I also wanted something that alerts me if somebody's going in or out of my house. My bedroom is at one end of the house and the back door is at the other end. So if somebody comes in and out of the back door, I would not hear it. Unfortunately, I can't work my Frontpoint. It's supposed to be on my phone and I'm supposed to be able to view things, but I can't. On occasion, I can get it on my phone and I can see the living room or one of the rooms. For example, if I'm sitting in the living room and turn it on, I can see it. But if I'm at my son's house and turn it on, there's nothing.
When the system was set up, Frontpoint had an outside guy come in. The fee was very expensive, but the young man did a nice job. I called Frontpoint about the issue and they said it wasn't their problem - that my router was not strong enough. It was too far from the camera or it wasn't in the right place. So I moved it into the living room where it sits out in the open floor - anybody walking in could see it and unplug it. It’s not what I want in my living room. They should have said, “You don’t have the proper internet access or proper Wi-Fi.” I don’t have knowledge of this since I’m not a computer person. My husband was, but, he’s gone.
Something wasn’t right however, they keep faithfully taking the $49.99 out of my credit card every month even though I haven’t used it. It’s been so long and I don't even remember how to turn the alarm on and off. Since I live alone, my whole house should have top security, especially the back room that I'm in most of the time. It's money that goes out of my pocket and I have no use for it - doesn't do anything. I bought all the top of the line equipment from Frontpoint and now I see advertised on TV that I can buy this remote stuff that's wireless and that I won't have to worry about somebody unplugging it. It seems that might be the next way to go. But I've already spent a couple thousand dollars with Frontpoint and another $500-$600 to have it installed.
On the whole, I have a non-existent experience with Frontpoint. I'm not angry with them or I would have them take the whole thing out and I'd quit paying them. However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anybody. I'd love for them to come and say, "Hey, we'll fix this for you. We'll make this right." It'd be nice if somebody would come and show me how it works - quit telling me it's everybody's fault. If Frontpoint wasn't capable of giving me the service I needed, they should've told me that, and not put it in after it cost me all that money. But by the same token, I haven't called them and nagged them about it. I should probably do that one of these days.

What I liked about Frontpoint was it was easy. We were able to put all the sensors and everything in ourselves. We didn't need to have an appointment for somebody to come to the house. Even though we ran into some problems, we were able to call people from Frontpoint and somebody walked us through the problems and so we've been happy.

It's been a little more than a year that we've used Frontpoint as our home security service provider. Installing our Frontpoint security device was good because I like being in control and I don't like people in my house. The self-install was actually one of the reasons why I chose them. We've had phone calls with the team at Frontpoint and these have always been pretty easy. Our phone interactions with them have all been very good. I definitely feel more secure since installing our Frontpoint security device. It's got a level of security that everybody appreciates.
I had used the mobile app. There were a few times when the mobile app was unresponsive. That's actually a huge potential problem, even if it's rare. The mobile app is chiefly how I interact with the security system, so the uptime of the mobile app is exactly the uptime of the system, from my point of view. So, if the mobile app is down, but system is up, in my perspective the whole system is down.
I would recommend Frontpoint, with some exceptions. The biggest one is that their payment system and financial system are quite primitive. We pay all other vendors in the modern world online. You would think that Frontpoint, being a tech company, would be at the forefront of that. But even up until recently, every time I had a credit card problem, I had to make a phone call and leave my credit card number or read my bank number over the phone, and that is so last century. I've heard people say that they're working on a system.

So far, our experience with Frontpoint has been pretty good. Installing the device was no fuss. We got to talk to their team because of the first smoke detector and it's been good. We use their app regularly and I love that I can access and control the system anywhere I go. It's low maintenance and I feel more secure leaving the house with Frontpoint.

It's been a good experience with Frontpoint. We haven't been robbed before or after so it's hard to evaluate its effectiveness. I also have no idea whether it’s a value or not when it comes to price, but certainly I'm getting the service I agreed to and wanted. There's a bit more comfort in this home. Customer service has been great, and the security people have been conscientious.

Frontpoint installation is much easier compared to ADT - you don’t need things drilled into your walls which is one of the reasons that I went with Frontpoint. Also, sometimes with ADT a bug can walk across the sensor and trip it. You can be thousands of miles away not knowing what the heck’s going on. I found that frustrating and I thought Frontpoint is probably better. Apart from the easy installation, their mobile app is excellent.
But at one time, we had an issue that was difficult to solve and I found it frustrating when each time the issue came up, a different representative would look into it and would basically have to get educated and then would come up with the same conclusions that the previous ones did, so I never made any headway. Finally, a guy by the name of Dan got involved and he did some research and he stuck with it until he solved the problem and that took care of it. Because of this experience, I got a letter from the CEO which was nice. I was happy about that. Overall they're a very good company.

My husband insisted on doing the installation and was a little bit confused about where exactly the sensors on the door should be positioned because it wasn't exactly clear in the instructions. But since installing Frontpoint, I feel more secure especially when we go away. It's nice to know that I got the mobile app feature, which is great and convenient, and gives me the extra level of insight. I'd recommend Frontpoint.

I had a friend who had the Frontpoint system and referred it to me. I've had it for a year and four months since. When I installed it, it was smooth and easy. It's been working great and we almost exclusively use the app to control it. The only hiccup we ran into early on was around billing, but we go that sorted out easily. Everything else has been fine so far.

I’ve had another home security provider before my switch to Frontpoint, but Frontpoint’s good because everything’s portable. I initially setup my devices one way but wanted to make a change, and we did it seamlessly. I also wanted to change the alarm and protect the front two rooms when I stay at home, and it worked very well. The push-button things are a problem however, since I think one of the sensors is down and I haven’t been on the website lately but I’m not sure. Also, I have a lot of gold, silver, certified jewelry, and without cameras, I’m feeling exposed, so I wanted Frontpoint to have cameras that are wireless, online, and are cloud-based. Other than that, my experience with the company has been clean, simple, and easy. I have no beefs at all, and I’d recommend them.

A cousin recommended Frontpoint after he did his research and saw all that Frontpoint has and all the good reviews. It was an easy installation and the way that we mounted the actual system onto our louvers allow us to keep the sliding window open while closing the plantation louvers so we can get a nice, cool, fresh air breeze at night (whereas before we couldn't leave it open because somebody could just come inside). I had to call Frontpoint recently for a replacement of the battery in the main console. I had questions about security cameras and they were all good and provided me with everything I needed so it's been great: great customer service, very knowledgeable staff and I couldn't feel any safer with the system.

I did a search online for different companies in the town where I live and Frontpoint came up with very good online ratings so I tried them. Installing the device was easy. I've talked to their service department twice, and small issues were resolved quickly. The apps also work quite well. My wife and I are not at the house full time so while we're away, it's more secure than it was before. I'm satisfied with Frontpoint.

I went on the internet and Googled best security system on the market, and Frontpoint was first. Setting up the system was probably one of the easiest things that I've ever done. I have been with them for a year and a half now, and I feel a lot more secure. I like the mobile app and use it a lot. I enjoy it because when I go on vacation, I set it to a no-entry delay which means it automatically starts screaming the minute that the doors open, and before I come home I can disarm it from my phone. I also like that as soon as my phone leaves the area around my house, it notifies me if I've activated my alarm or not. And if I haven't, it sends me a text saying if I want to activate it because sometimes I forget and I'll do it on the run. It's been a great experience with Frontpoint.

The motion sensors pickup my 20lb dogs. The glass break sensors go off all the time when we're at home, including when our morning alarms go off to wake us up or our phones ring. Ultimately motion sensors are good if you don't own pets and glass break sensors are good if you aren't home. The door sensors work fine. The touch panel is extremely slow and needs more memory. The delay causes you to hit the wrong numbers because you aren't sure if you hit the right ones when trying to disarm the system.
My touch panel is currently not responding and frozen. I see no obvious way to restart it. Waiting on a customer support call back but it has been 30 minutes and I've got to leave my home unprotected due to this issue. Not really pleased with the system. It's most useful when we're at work or vacation but awful if we're home and want to arm stay due to the glass breaks always going off. We can only arm the motion sensors if the dogs are away from the home.

We had ADT at a previous home, and I think Frontpoint certainly is much more advanced. It’s more self-install versus ADT’s. I like using Frontpoint's smartphone app as well to utilize the service. I also like the ability to re-set or set the system if we’ve forgotten. There have been a couple of false settings that I have complained before, but overall I had a great experience. The Frontpoint staff have always been very friendly and provided very good customer support. I'd recommend them.

Frontpoint's installation was straightforward and I've had it for 18 months now. Their team was really good, they got to the point and solved the problem I had. Their mobile app is easy to access so it is quick to activate and deactivate the system. My wife who hates technology even uses it. Since we've had Frontpoint, our sense of security heightened. My wife feels better at night and even when we're not at home.

I looked up Frontpoint and others online and was happy with what I read. It was easy to install the device, and the phone support was very helpful and polite. We have Frontpoint for 3 years now, and feel a lot more secure at night and sleep better not having to feel like I got to listen to everything. I use the app and I love it. We had a different home security provider several years back, and Frontpoint is much better. The reps were very helpful with several questions I had while I was doing the installation, and in making some changes that I decided to make when I first put the device in. We use the mobile app on occasion and I like it. It's a benefit for us. My wife is much more comfortable with Frontpoint installed because I work some strange hours at times. I've recommended it to several people.

My experience with Frontpoint has been very positive. I have not had any issues or problems with them at all. I've been using it for about ten months now. I had managed to miscount the sensors I needed and they were very efficient at getting more sensors to me. I use the mobile app also all the time. When I go out and somebody needs to be in the house, I just turn the system off, then on. It’s great. I feel better since having Frontpoint. It makes it a little bit more comfortable for me to go away, leave the house, or go to bed at night. And hopefully if something happens, it gives me a little bit of warning. I’ve recommended Frontpoint a couple times. The only problem I have is that it seems to be expensive with some of the other programs that have come out with other companies.

I used to have a wired security system, but it was getting old and had some issues so I wanted to replace it. While I was searching for a security system, Frontpoint came up. I like their wireless approach. They're much better and I've been with them for a little over a year now. I had zero issues during the installation and it worked well, although I had a few questions afterwards on how to check certain things with the computer and the main application. All those were handled nicely.
Recently, one of my smoke detectors fell off the ceiling - the tape didn't hold and I have yet to fix it. But they’re easy to work with. They’re responsive when you call them for any advice or technical information. I've also been using their app since day 1. It's fun being able to access and control the system on the go. On the whole, it's been an enjoyable experience with Frontpoint. I feel safer too. Even when the system's not on, you know what's going on in the house and you see any movement.

I've had Frontpoint for three years. Installing it was a little bit rough. I had some issues getting it configured with the wireless and some other stuff. But I got it working so it's all right. And the people from Frontpoint have been very helpful. They were all good in answering my questions. Since then, my sense of security has been pretty good. And arming and disarming it using their app is all I've done with it. It's real cool and I need more of it. Altogether, Frontpoint has been good. It had a few technical glitches, but it has been resolved.

I previously had ADT and they did all the installing. I didn’t have to install it myself, so that was a lot easier and less stressful compared to Frontpoint. With Frontpoint, we got a big house and I had to figure out to make all the sensors communicate with the control panel on my own, whereas ADT did all that for me. I also had to contact Frontpoint when I set up the system because I had to learn how to make my existing sensors work with the other sensors they sent me. They walked me through the steps programming the sensors.
But overall, you get a lot for a reasonable price with Frontpoint and it’s a good value for your money, like their mobile app which I use all the time. I love it. It's an option that I didn’t have with ADT. I had an older ADT system before and it was a hardline so when I lost power, I lost my alarm system too as the batteries went dead. But with Frontpoint, it’s wireless and an upgraded system. Having remote control and access is a great option that I really like and it’s very effective for us. We don’t use the security system all the time because normally there’s always somebody at home but when we’re gone, we leave it on. So I’m very pleased with Frontpoint and I think an upgrade is in order at some point to include cameras with the sensors in the basement. I’ll get around to putting some more of the cameras up and that would make me feel safer.

We've had Frontpoint as our home security service provider for less than 2 years. Our experience with Frontpoint has been fine but we don't use it much because I'm home all day and we have dogs. We only use it about twice a year when we take the dogs and go out of town -- that was the only reason why we even got it. I had used ADT a long time ago before Frontpoint, but I also didn't use it much since I'm always home.

I was looking for a security system because I don't want someone breaking in while I'm away or at home. When I was checking out the security providers online and calling around, I learned about Frontpoint. So I ended up going with Frontpoint and I feel a little safer with their security device installed. The reps I spoke with were friendly, and installing the device was very easy. We used their app even when we were on vacation last year. I had a very good experience overall and I recommend them. I know there's bad people out there but with Frontpoint, I feel a little safer.

I like Frontpoint really well. We have no problems. It's wireless, unlike the ADT that we had before. It kept going out and it was a mess, so we're very happy with Frontpoint. The only problem I've had was I put up a fire alarm and the little sticky pads, for some reason, came loose after a while, after several months and it broke the smoke sensor and so we had to get another one and I've since put that up. Twice, when we were cooking, there was a lot of smoke and the sensor went off, everything started beeping. Very quickly, we got a phone call each time and that was very reassuring. We'd recommend them.

Before having Frontpoint for almost a year, I have used another home security provider in the past. I would say that they are similar in terms of the actual product, the response of the system, the whole monitoring, and calling the police and the fire department, but what I like more about Frontpoint is the much nicer and reachable customer service. It's a much more pleasant customer experience. Installation was pretty simple and straightforward. I also think the mobile app is great. I love being able to control and access the system anytime, anywhere.

My entire first floor was pretty much in full security from Frontpoint because I was concerned with potential entry points for a burglar. Since we've installed it, we have definitely felt a heightened sense of security like I'm no longer worried about leaving our dog at home while we're at work. Installation was extremely easy because it was self-install so everything came pre-packaged, numbered appropriately, with very clear instructions on how to set it up and who to contact to confirm that I appropriately installed the equipment.
They respond very fast too. When I added a separate sensor to my system, they were able to quickly help me and sent me the equipment that I was requesting. I also got a phone call right away when I accidentally tripped and the security alarmed. It's great to know that somebody is actively monitoring us. But the biggest seller is that my wife and I both exclusively use our mobile phones to control our alarm system. It's fantastic. So I would definitely recommend the product and their service.

Frontpoint was the most fool-proof security provider I researched on the internet and I've had them for a year and a half now. Installing it was not a problem and I had it setup the same day it came via UPS. I use their mobile app all the time and it's great for arming, disarming and seeing what's going on with the cameras. Their team in Frontpoint has been good as well. I had one issue when an alarm was triggered (and that was my fault) and they called and validated that it was a false alarm. It was a very quick and good response.
I set their device every night when I go to bed and feel safer in that respect. However, I wish we're able to add additional cameras outside and have the ability to monitor real-time inside that's easier and less expensive. Cameras are very expensive and they don't interface and there are cheaper cameras for outdoor monitoring although you've got to buy cameras from Frontpoint. Nevertheless, we're extremely satisfied with them.

My old security provider didn't offer wireless and they gave me more sensors for the windows and motion sensors than Frontpoint does so in the end it costed me more to have Frontpoint. Nevertheless, Frontpoint offers more wireless and I can do it by myself. At first, I had to do some research and call the tech when installing their device but it was doable. Their mobile app is convenient, but I don't know how secure is that since Frontpoint uses Alarm.com which is a third-party provider and not their own system. Also, they should have discounts for customers if they want something else (they don't and that's a downside). But they have good customer service and I can get connected with them quickly. I had a couple accidents and they're really good, and they're local and not a franchise.

Installing the Frontpoint device was simple because the instructions were short and they provided all the information I needed to set it up. Their team has also been positive and helpful. The only problem is that our cat has set it off a number of times and they claim that the motion sensors wouldn't be activated by pets that weigh under 30 pounds. There was one motion sensor in the area where the cat dug up on something and I moved it up higher than their general recommendations. It would still activate for a person, but he didn't seem to set it off anymore.

I haven't had a whole lot of experience but they seem to be helpful and more prompt on the calls that they receive compared to my previous provider. Frontpoint’s devices were simple to install, and I had no issues. I also use their mobile app and it worked well. I am happy with my Frontpoint experience and the system works perfectly, but they’re a bit more expensive than other providers, and when I signed up with them, I didn’t know I was signing for a full 3 year contract. My cable provider now offers a similar security system at a much cheaper price, so I called Frontpoint to see if I could cancel my services. The rep told me that in order to cancel it, I have to pay the remainder of the contract, so now I’m stuck with Frontpoint for another year. Still, I'm happy with them.

We needed a security system and we were not happy with who we had. We had a couple of problems and we were having a trouble in getting them taken care of. So we decided to use Frontpoint, and we have been with them for four years now. It's been great, it's a fantastic system. Installing the system was simple. I received it in the mail, hooked everything up, and it was running. We use the mobile app more than anything else. I love it because we might jump on the golf cart to take a ride some place and forget to turn the security on, or possibly we’d be out in the yard and decide to take a ride some place and not run in the house. I can just take my phone and turn it on.
Frontpoint is a lot simpler and we feel a lot safer. We even set it for away when we’re home because we do not utilize a portion of our house and I haven’t purchased all the adapters for all the windows in the back. The motion detector picks up anything towards the back of the house. We were talking about possibly getting a security camera but I haven't been able to find anything that explains it on their site if we want to add that to our system. So far, we are very happy and have recommended them to a friend.

The equipment is great, however had I done just a little more research I would have gotten the same type of equipment and the same type of service for half the monthly costs.

I had two systems prior to owning Frontpoint and they were wired ones. Technology moves along and I like Frontpoint because it's radio-based. It didn't have to run any wires and the batteries lasted a long time - three years. I liked that I get to own the equipment too. The contract I had with the old security system was also problematic and I didn't like it. Long story short, I switched to Front point. In fact, I've got to call those guys today to find out how to have an alarm send me a video. We did it once before and it all put up, and then I changed the cameras around. Now I can’t set it back up. Service from them is great and their people are friendly. I can call them anytime too.
These days, I've been learning to deal with the sensors of the security unit and the Frontpoint people been helpful and patient with that. They've called me several times before because I've placed sensors in places where they could collect dirt or dust and then they start getting touchy and they go off. I always feel sorry for the monitoring people when they call me because we tripped an alarm. We tripped the kitchen alarm six times because my wife would be cooking something and it would put up too much particles in the air. I can't complain because the sensor works - it works almost too well. I asked if there was a sensitivity setting and they said there was none. I had to do some adjustments on the three sensors. I had to move them around and now they're stable, but I have to blow the dust off every now and then. So far, I'm very happy with Frontpoint and I'd recommend them to anybody.

Frontpoint was recommended by my neighbor since he got them so I tried to get it as well. I've had them for eight months now and they are much better than my previous home security provider. Frontpoint offered technologies and sensors that I could not get through my previous provider without paying a fortune. They're also a lot more competitive and they offered a bunch of different sensors and options that made it much more attractive to me. In fact, they gave me a flood sensor for my basement in case I get water and that’s good to know because we have flooding in our area occasionally. Moreover, installing it was incredibly easy and the whole thing took half an hour. The hardest part was figuring out where to put the sensors but other than that, it was very straightforward. In addition, I use their mobile app occasionally to set the alarm if my wife forgets or we forget when we're out. I use it to disarm also and also for my pet sitter.
On the other hand, their customer service has been a good team and they were very active in trying to get back to me since our smoke alarm fell off and set off the alarm. From the initial call to every single time I've talked to them to have a handled billing, to the technology, has been all nice. I like it and would recommend it to anyone else and in fact, I have recommended it to people. Overall, they're courteous, have a leading technology and it's extremely easy.

Frontpoint customer service is good and helpful. The toughest thing with the system is our video which has been a little bit difficult with the picture and I haven't got the time to reset. Overall, it's a good system.

We've been very happy with Frontpoint. We previously had ADT and whenever our battery got low, they wanted to charge us $75 service fee just to come around and investigate, and so we ended up shopping around. Frontpoint had good reviews and also seemed similar enough to ADT that it could be familiar enough for us to work with so we went with them. Customer service has been absolutely amazing. They haven't tried to charge us an arm and a leg for every call we make and if we have a question, they're so happy to help and never make it feel like it's a problem. We've loved Frontpoint. It is consumer and budget friendly. Excellent service all the way around.

I use Frontpoint’s mobile app all the time and it’s been great, but they tend to hang sometimes and I’m not able to log in. However, the company gives very good service. Their devices are extremely easy to install and effective, and I feel a lot safer using their system.

We went ahead with Frontpoint because of its cost. The installation was easy - we did it ourselves because we don't live where Frontpoint is located. But my experience with them was not very good. We've called twice to complain about some issues and they sent a replacement on things. The monitor that we put on the wall fell down three times and there were numerous problems so we don't even use it. I tried to cancel but they said I have a three-year contract so I'm paying $35 a month for nothing. Needless to say, they have inferior quality of equipment.

I have the FrontPoint system and I ordered one for my mother. They were easy to deal with and very helpful. They gave me some options which I didn't ask for. With the other people, they're trying to get a product sold and they don't really care so much. It's very easy to install. I had a great experience with Frontpoint.

In the beginning, I had a pretty good experience with Frontpoint. And then I had a really terrible experience: There was a discrepancy with billing and it went to a collection agency and they were charging me almost $2,000. It was a bad situation and I couldn't get through to the right people. There were three days where it was a very hard thing going on. I talked to three supervisors and each of the supervisors that I spoke to said that I don't have any other recourse. I wrote a letter to a higher manager and that's when I finally resolved my issue.
They've done good with customer service anytime after that, even mailing back some cameras that they told me they'd give me a refund on. I took too long in mailing those cameras back and they still honored what they said they would by refunding them, so they definitely have gone above and beyond that way. Moreover, they call and there's a good response anytime there's been any kind of issue.

Frontpoint gives me service that is much better for a better price. Installing it was simple and easy. We had the existing equipment and they were ready, so it's just the camera that I had to install. I really enjoy my interactions with their team. Our salesman, Jim, was really good and thorough. When they first sent the device it was incomplete; it was missing the camera. When they finally did send it, it was two weeks later so I talked to Jim and then he talked to his manager about giving us a half month's credit for not getting all our equipment. That was very nice of him to reach out to his manager to make sure he got the authorization. It was the shipping person who forgot to include it and then when they did ship it again, something happened to it. I believe it was the third time that they had to ship it when I finally got everything in. In the end it got worked out. Other than that, everything was good.

Frontpoint has considerable positive reviews from people who've used it. We had ADT for a three-year contract and all of a sudden we thought that they were awful, so we wanted to switch at the end of that contract. I used Angie's list to determine that there was a lot of satisfaction with Frontpoint, so we switched. The installation of the Frontpoint device is easy and I don't need a tech to do which was more cost-effective. And we've had good responses whenever any of the alarms went off. The mobile app is very useful, too. I've left the house before and on the way out realized we forgot to set the alarm and I used my iPhone to do it. The only issue we've ever had is a couple of times we've had to call in to get more adhesive to put on the back of the units, because the climate is humid enough in Florida. The smoke detector upstairs and then one of the glass units downstairs pick them behind it so the device came off.

I have never had a security system prior to Frontpoint! Early in my experience I stepped outside forgetting to disarm the system. Within seconds my telephone was ringing! So incredibly impressed. Eventually (due to the loss of my wife, and dealing with Estate Matters) I plan on adding on to my security system! Best move I could have made for home security!

We've been with Frontpoint since we moved in a year ago. It was the price and the fact that the security system used its own cellular link that made me go with them over other security service providers. Installing their device was easy. I just had to plug it in and then attach the little sensors to the doors. We also have the mobile app on our phones. It's convenient. Often we'd leave the house and then decide that we want to arm it as we're driving away. We've never armed it from the panel and locked up the door. Since using them, we feel a little bit more secure about the house and the stuff that we have in the house when we're not there. There's definitely the sensation of security when you set the alarm because I know that if somebody does break into the house, at least the alarm will go off.
I called them a couple of times. There was a lady that helped me initially because we have motion detectors but they kept picking up the animals, since we have a couple of small dogs. So she made some suggestions and then sent us some stuff to re-attach the sensors but they ended up falling down, so we haven't had the motion detectors up for a while. I wouldn't say it's the perfect experience in the world but we've recommended them to friends. It has been fine and acceptable. We're satisfied and haven't decided to go with anybody else.

A salesperson from a different security company was doing rounds in our neighborhood and this got me thinking about having a security system. So I did a general search of security systems and their reviews. I felt like Frontpoint would be a good fit for me because it was a mobile unit and not a wired-in service - I knew I would be moving in the next year or two. Installing it was easy and I use the Frontpoint mobile app all the time. My favorite about the app is I would get notifications. If I were at work, I would get notifications about the different doors so I'd know when the kids were at home.
At one point after I moved, I had to call and talk about canceling the service. The rep I talked to wasn't rude. She was only straight about if you cancel, it's going to be a $750 fee. I didn't have any complaints about Fronpoint's services or system. It was a matter of circumstances on my end - if I could afford it, there wouldn't be any reason to not keep using it. But that didn't matter when I called. It was if you cancel, this is what it's going to be. So we tried to keep it going for a few more months and I got to the point where if I make that payment, it's taking away from groceries. However, with Frontpoint, there is a feeling of security and ease just knowing it's there. The mobile app made it easy to use. Overall, it made us feel safer, it was a good experience, it was easy and I don't have any complaints.

Frontpoint is easy to install and has a flat rate. I've been using them for a year now and their mobile app is great. Hands down their customer service team is great and the best thing abut Frontpoint. Overall, it has been a great way to provide safety to my family and it's nice knowing that our house is monitored now that I've become a home owner. They also troubleshoot things when I feel something is not working.

Frontpoint doesn't have Google as an option for notification in the dropdown. I'm not receiving the alerts anymore after I changed my phone and service provider very recently. I checked with Google to see what it is with the service provider but I now have put it at claims. I had downloaded the app and should receive a notification whenever somebody arms or disarms the system, but I'm not. Other than that, the system works fine.

I searched for companies which offered some good features and Frontpoint was one of those at the top. I chose them over other security service providers because the device is wireless and because of the ease of installation - the fact that you can get to do it yourself. It's easy and simple. Frontpoint's team have all been good. Since installing the security device I feel safer and have fewer worries.

The places that I went to online said Frontpoint is the best, so I got their service. I've been with them for maybe two years now and have two systems with them, one here in Kansas and one in Colorado. In the beginning, they made an assessment, sent the stuff; then we installed it, called in, then the system is working. With the self-installation, it takes about a quarter of the time it would take to call a service person, schedule the service person to come out, have the service person there, and then try to figure out what you're doing. After all, their reps have been pretty helpful when I was trying to figure out where to put what in both places. They also helped me figure out whether an alarm was really a violation when I had the motion detector go off one time, not a hundred miles after we left the cabin in Colorado. I really like the simplicity of Frontpoint's system and I have recommended it to a friend.

The price of Frontpoint is competitive but I have had one issue with the lighting modules that I never got resolved. I have four lighting modules, and the one that’s farthest away from the control center always malfunctions. The website claims that it’s good up to 50 feet. I have a wooden frame house, nothing made of concrete and it is no more than 25 feet. I’m not completely satisfied with that lighting module problem and I would like for all the equipment to work as advertised and it doesn’t.
David, usually those AC light modules should work in a setting like you describe, so we're going to have someone from our Customer Support Team reach out to you and troubleshoot that sensor until you're 100% satisfied. Please let us know if you need anything else in the meantime!

I went with Frontpoint because of their price and I've had them for a year now. I tried their mobile app but didn't use it too much. We just moved and I haven't set it up back up yet. I called their team about it and they told me to give them a call to set it back up and change it all. So far, I haven't had any issues with their team and their customer service is good. We have more peace of mind since having their security device installed. Overall, they're easy to use.

We have moved into a new house in a remote area, about five or six miles out of town. I work at home most of the time but I am required to travel from time to time, and my wife just felt a little more comfortable having a security system. So I looked at all of the options and decided that Frontpoint was probably the best and it's a great system. I certainly liked that it's self-installed, wireless, and of newer technology. I have done some research on other wireless systems and they weren't as adaptable. My wife uses the Frontpoint mobile app and she also installed it herself. She is a techie person and likes being able to check stuff at the house while she's gone, as well as turn the system on and off after we leave. (We have friends that have other systems wherein they set it and then rush for the door to make sure.) Furthermore, the price was in line with what I was looking to pay and it was better than most providers.
With Frontpoint, we can also increase the devices at any time and can move the control panel anywhere we want. Once in a while, one of our kids or our niece need to get in the house and we have the ability of not sharing our code and the location of the control panel. Also, we have dogs and it was very comforting that Frontpoint put that fact in their notes, so we know that somebody's going to attempt to get our animals out of the house when we're not there.

I used Frontpoint because their customer service seemed to be good. However, the installation part was a little hassle as it wasn't as easy as they stated it's going to be. I had an issue with one of the sensors and I had to have them work on it. So far, I haven't had any issues with them for the 2 years that I have been using them although they are more expensive than my previous provider. I like the fact that I can use my mobile app and see any motion detected in my house.

I had an incident recently where Frontpoint had to notify the police department, only for me to come home and notice that the police weren't there. Frontpoint had already notified them a long time ago and they weren't aware that the police hadn't been dispatched. So I called and alerted them through the panic and they called me. From our conversation they were like, “We definitely notified the police but they usually call us but they haven’t called us.” Then they put me on hold and called the police again and it was in their queue but the officer had not arrived.
We’re not talking false alarm; there is an actual burglary and the officers didn’t show up. The alarm was going off for an hour. So it’s unfortunate in the grand scheme of it all, but Frontpoint did what they were supposed to do and I’m very happy with them. They’re professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and I would recommend them. They do an excellent job, and if some alert comes out, they're on top of trying to find out or contact the police.

We got a new home so we got Frontpoint installed when we moved in. We chose them over other security providers because: they ranked the best last year, their plans were really flexible, and they were easy to install unlike a lot of other vendors. We've had it for a year now. Their team has been good. Whenever I have questions they've been able to answer them pretty well. I have also tried their mobile app but it comes with an extra charge. After I bought this, few of my friends and neighbors have bought other systems too. They feel that the Frontpoint is too pricey because few of my neighbors use some other vendors and they are spending barely less than what I'm spending on Frontpoint but I'm satisfied with them.

They say that an enemy always comes within, and for us it was a family member. The whole reason why we got the Frontpoint system is for us to guard our things. The person’s currently incarcerated, but he’ll be getting out in a year. So far I haven’t had any problems with my system. It's been reliable and buys peace of mind. But I’ve been thinking about testing it. Like I’ll put an alarm and see if I get a phone call. I haven’t done it yet but I will.

I was looking for various providers online and Frontpoint reviews seem to be more reputable than the others. Their first point of contact was very informative. I like the in-depth answers to my questions and the follow-up to my callbacks was substantial. The installation was seamless. It went up and down quickly. They called to follow-up after I had it set up and wanted to finally activate it. The young lady was thorough, answered any follow-up questions I had and let me know if I'm ready, so I went live. I have been using their mobile app since day one and I was very excited to be able to access and control my system while I'm on the go. As seen on the commercial, these kinds of things were pluses - "Did we forget to do this?" or "Did we leave grandma at the house?" I like the fact that I can look at that app and see what the monitoring history is. There are more things I can add to the system and to the app. We're paying more money for it but I like that ability.
I had a different provider prior to Frontpoint. I discontinued service with them before I researched for a replacement. My previous provider and Frontpoint are night and day. My previous one was a wired punch-a-hole-in-the-wall going back to a century memory system connected to a backup battery. It was antiquated in comparison to what's on the market now. Although it has robust system, I didn't have a high level of confidence with the newness of it and it being a big conglomerate. I wasn't comfortable in the fine print of what I perceive to be contractual language that would enable them to switch and choose or do me as they please.
With Frontpoint, everything has been good. I'm confident in them. I'd recommend them to a friend and I already have. Something they can do better though is following up with customers and letting them know, in a better manner than just, "Hey, here's something new that we can do." It would be better if it's "Hey, I reviewed and analyzed your configuration, and based on what we originally acquired, perhaps you should consider another smoke detector or glass break detector" or, "Here's the benefit of having live cameras, if you wanted to go into that." Their systems are robust and they could get a lot of mileage out of soft selling. Everybody hates aggressive selling but soft selling additional capabilities of the system, they would add to their inventory if they did that. They maybe doing that but I haven't received that call yet.

We decided to get Frontpoint for our office because a co-worker recommended it. He's using it at home. It was a little complicated to set up the security device with the tech part but we spoke to someone on the phone, and he was very helpful. Also, when someone sent the alarm off, Frontpoint called us and made sure everything’s okay. So their team has been very responsive.
We also use the app everyday and we love it a lot. I particularly like that you can turn on and off the security system from the app. When my boss is on her way home or on the way to the office, I would usually text her and say, "Would you mind, turning the alarm off so I can get in?" And it’s been great so far. It’s been very useful and we’re very happy about it. We're definitely getting what we're paying for. Frontpoint provides reliable service that you can depend the security of your business or your home.

Frontpoint had a package through Angie's List so I got them. The sales team was great and I got a discount for the sensors. I have been using Frontpoint as my home security provider for about 6 months now. It took me five minutes to install the security device and it is easy to use. My dog set the alarm off one time and Frontpoint was easy to deal with on the phone. I also love their mobile app. I wish I could control my garage from my phone, too. In addition, they are reasonably priced and they do exactly what you pay them to do. These days when it seems every time you pay somebody and you had expectations for them to do something but they don't do it, it's nice when somebody actually does.

We had a different security system prior to using Frontpoint but we had problems with getting service and getting responses on the phone. We selected Frontpoint because they were ranked number one at the time, and we've been very happy with them. We used them in three separate locations and I've had no problems. Whenever we have an alarm, I can always get somebody or if we have problems, they're pretty quick to respond. We feel like we're getting what we're paying for. Our relationship will continue based on this.

I heard about Frontpoint because my son was using it. A long time ago I've had a different security provider and they're the same as Frontpoint unfortunately, although I had not any issues. We set the alarms and they beep when we go in and out the door or both of them and nothing's ever happened. Moreover, installation was no problem and easy. There was a guy on the phone and he talked me through everything. Their mobile app is great because I was out of town when I needed somebody to be able to get in my house. I set it on my phone, disabled the alarm and let them in and they call me back when they left and I turned it back on.
Their team has also been very helpful and didn't make me feel like an idiot despite me being an old woman. However, I can't say how quick the response we get if there was a break in especially with us in the house so that is my concern. Overall, Frontpoint has quality people working for them and I'd like to think they have a quality product though I wont know that until unless something bad happens.

Frontpoint taught us how to install the device in our shop. Everything was pretty self-explanatory, and they only helped us in installing the keypad. The shop owner and manager use the mobile app. It's convenient because they don’t always have to come inside the shop and change or adjust the keypad.They could do it outside or when not even at the shop. So if we forget to press the code, they can set it. They can still lock or unlock the shop from a remote location as well as turn on/off the alarm. Frontpoint has good customer service and is reliable. The security system gives us peace of mind. In case something occurs in the shop when we’re not here, we have something to fall back on and hopefully it would detect when someone is breaking in.

I was searching the internet for a good security system for my building, and found Frontpoint's website very self-explanatory and liked everything it said. The system being an easy self-installation really caught my attention, and I also like the flexibility of being able to change the name of my sensors with them. Their mobile app is very, very user-friendly, and they also have the capability to add a camera, which I don’t have right now, but is something that I would do in the very near future. We've had a faulty sensor once, and they were very helpful over the phone, and were able to answer all our questions. Overall, it is a reliable alarm system, and I would recommend them.

I went with Frontpoint because I like the wireless portion. I first heard about them online and have been using them as my home security service provider a little over a year now. Installing the security device was very easy and the mobile app is user-friendly. I feel safer now that I have the security device installed and I am satisfied with Frontpoint.

Frontpoint was very simple to install, it's wireless. I had the builder install it in most of the doors. There’s only two places that have motion, I put those in myself and it was easy. Their team were straightforward. They went through a system check once it was installed and everything was going, so it isn’t a big deal. However I haven’t tried the little remote which you can carry in your pocket and haven’t got around to test whether it would really activate and deactivate the system from that side. Essentially, when we go out, we leave it deactivated. It’s only at night that we’re in the house that I activate it so that stuff is good. I have to try it when we go on vacation. But we haven’t gone anywhere, so it isn’t that critical.
The downside with Frontpoint is you didn’t have to do very much of anything. I spent the money for the controller, installed parts, and I got stuck with a two-year contract. In case I didn’t like it, I’d be really against the wall though it’s okay now because it seems to be working anyhow. I had one incident where somebody opened the door but it wasn’t anybody trying to intrude. It was only my son when I had the alarm on and left the door open. But it's been fine.

I've had Frontpoint for over a year. It was the ease of installation and the fact that it is done via the wireless network versus battery operated that made me decide to use them over other security service providers. This provides more security so even if somebody cuts my power, then I would still have the alarm. Another reason is their mobile app which is how I arm and disarm my alarm. I use it every single day. Installing their device was a piece of cake and when I had it, every time the alarm gets tripped, I get a call almost immediately and they always triple confirm that I do not need the police to be called. Since the installation, I feel very safe. I go in and the first thing I do is arm the alarm. It's been awesome. I've got two family members that need alarm so this is what I recommended.

We're very happy and satisfied that we made the switch over to Frontpoint. Our previous provider was a wired system and we had to have special equipment for a cellular connection because we didn't have a landline. We weren't able to pull up an app on the smartphone and see everything that's going on. Frontpoint system is all cellular signal so it's broader.
The Frontpoint mobile app enables us to control system anywhere, all the time. It's very convenient. We see what motions are, what sensors and things are being tripped or used even if we're not there. If we're gone and if somebody has to come to the house for cleaning or picking up something, we can turn the system off then turn it back on. When someone comes in and turns off, disarms the system, my wife can text that person saying, "Are you the one who disarmed the system?" And then she knows who it was. We get a text message that says your system has been disarmed or rearmed or whatever it is.
Another nice feature is that Frontpoint has a monthly flat rate for our monitoring regardless of how many pieces we added on because we have three different Frontpoint systems. We really appreciate that because it recognizes the fact that we're monitoring a lot more sensors at certain addresses than the others. The only issue is when we had to replace the battery on some of the recessed door sensors. It was tough to get the assembly apart to get to the battery back in because of its placement in the door. We tore up the housing of our sensor a little bit trying to replace the battery. Their staff has been very helpful. We never wait very long to talk to anybody. We've been very happy with the support we've gotten.

I'm using Frontpoint for my business for about a year and a half now. I chose them over other security providers because they were less expensive. They have been there when I needed them to be there. I haven't had to reach out to them very often but when I have, they've done a good job. I've got some issues right now but it's my fault that I haven't called them to try and resolve them. But I've got peace of mind knowing that my business is protected.

I called three or four different providers to get information on home security systems and some were very pushy and I didn't like that. I like that Frontpoint answered all my questions and were not pushy so I got them. I have used them for about a year now and we also had our friend use them. I feel more secure having them and we've never had any issues. They returned our calls and have been very helpful and informative. We did well on the installation, but it would have been a lot better if I had somebody else besides my husband helping me. It would have been very easy though if we had read all the installation instructions which were only a few paragraphs on a couple of pages.

Frontpoint has excellent customer and technical support. They are very knowledgeable and willing to give you all the time you need in order to resolve your problem. If one person can't resolve the problem, they communicate with somebody else who they think might be able to resolve it and get you additional feedback. In addition, installing my Frontpoint security device was generally very easy but the hardest part to install were the video cameras.

The way Frontpoint can be run on or off using my cellphone was a selling point for me, so I picked them over my other home security provider and it’s a lot better. It’s a good deal to be able to access and control my system on the go, and their reps have always been very helpful anytime I needed them. It’s also a good thing to know I’ve got my Frontpoint system at my home when I’m not around.

Installing Frontpoint was very easy. We chose it over other home security providers because of the cost and value that we would be getting plus the ability to not have a wired phone within our home. We also have a dog and having Frontpoint hooked to the smoke alarm makes him safer than without a system if ever there's a problem and we're not home. I've also tried the mobile app and it is very easy and I love what it does. Also, we've moved since first installing the system and all throughout, their team has always been extremely helpful and easy to work with and talk to. Originally, I was looking for more of a business solution. But once I got in and started talking to Frontpoint, they said I could use their system for a small business. All the equipment runs great. We've gotten calls and the alarms have definitely gone off when somebody hasn't entered the code right. Compared with our previous security provider, Frontpoint is self-maintaining and cheaper. We pay about $50 less a month for the monitoring service. Their staff has always been attentive and easy to reach so I'm happy with the price and value. They also have the nicest cameras but occasionally the wireless cameras that we picked up don't work. They seemed to lose track and stop doing what we programmed them to do. It would be really cool if it worked all the time. For the incredible savings and the equipment, I would recommend them for home use but not as much as for business use.

Frontpoint was going to provide the type of service I needed so I went and tried them out. I've been with them for a year now and so far, so good. I had a very positive interaction with the sales rep that handled my order of the package. He was very helpful. The installation was very easy. I also went online and tried the Frontpoint Mobile App. I haven't done it so much on my phone but I set up like when the front door opens, it says 'front door' now instead of just beeping. It's very convenient. All in all, Frontpoint has been excellent and I feel more secure having it at my home.

Frontpoint gave me a better offer than ADT that's why I chose them. I've been using them for my business. I got two sensors, one of those security cameras and the door sensors, too. It was easy to set up and the guys on the phone were really helpful. It took me 15 minutes to finish the installation. I like the service and the way the panel with alarm is set up. I don't have to have the connection; it goes through a separate connection. The mobile app is also really useful. It's an all around good service.

We had a another home security and it was not very good so we went with Frontpoint. I don't have problems with them, they're good. The only thing I could say negative was when we had to get something replaced, the only way they would do it is through charging my credit card and they were not supposed to be charging it for the security. I went over that with them before I gave my credit card and they said, “No, you don’t have to worry about that.” But they ended up taking $100 off on my credit card and said, “Your husband can write you a check.” And I said, “No, I’m going to be out that money.” They said there was no way to refund me $100. They credit me back, but then they started billing my credit card when there was another credit card that we had on file, which was in my husband’s name and that ticked me off a little bit.
But I like having Frontpoint. My husband likes their mobile app a lot. I’m at home by myself and I had some neighbors who had kids that were rough. They’ve moved now but I didn’t have security when they were there. If I had it then, I would have felt safer and better. It’s nice to have a security system when you’re home by yourself.

I once had a hardwire service but I like the portable and transferable features of Frontpoint better. It's a little bit more versatile and I also like the fact that it's not associated with the phone line. Installing it was next to nothing in terms of time and effort. Since using the device, I have less worry because I have my keypad as well as the mobile app so I've got flexibility to engage the system as well deactivate it even upon leaving the house (I didn't have that option before). It's absolutely wonderful. Their team has always been very professional, courteous, attentive and timely.

I've been using Frontpoint for over a year now and my experience with them is extremely easy. I like that they had cellular back-up and their mobile app is also fantastic. Since installing it, I feel much safer when I'm not at home. The only issue I've had with them was with their computer system. They couldn't charge my card so it racked up some late payments but the card was open - it had more than enough money to go through. They tried it again a week later and it went through, no problems. Other than that, it's been pretty simple to get a hold of them.

We had Frontpoint the very first day we moved in our business. We like its ease of use, and the person I spoke with on the phone was good and they seemed to do what we wanted to do. Installing the device was super easy, and they walked me right through it. We also use the mobile app everyday to lock or unlock our shop; I enjoy it, and it is a good system because I can see when the store is locked if I'm not there. The customer service has also been good to work with - we added another area and they added another couple of sensors for us with no trouble, and it was all good. One of our friends who has a big warehouse in San Jose recommended we use Frontpoint. He uses Frontpoint and explained to us, "you can control it with your cellphone. If you’re outside, you can see if it’s locked or not. You can unlock it." After we've had the alarm, we feel much more secure, especially if my son is alone at home. We also recommended Frontpoint to some of my friends since we have a very good experience with Frontpoint. They care about their customers.
For instance, a couple of months ago, before Christmas, somebody robbed our house. The alarm system worked and he got scared and ran and didn’t take anything so I was happy with that. The only problem we've had is nobody explained that we have to put the alarm within our eye line. My husband installed it on the corner of the wall which was too high. The cops said because the burglar jumped from the window and on the counter in the kitchen, the alarm started working, but if he was coming from the door, the alarm wouldn't reach the burglar. So we changed its location after that. Their team is very helpful and they respond right away.

Accessing the system via the mobile app is easy and fast because sometimes I don't have time and I just have my fiancé do it so he just goes on his phone and puts it on. Installing the Frontpoint Security device was extremely easy. They had some good instructional videos. I did have to call them but they walked me through it and it took about 15 minutes once I knew what to do. It's of great quality and I felt secure. They were very customer-oriented. The mobile app was very simple to use, and the only thing that I had a bit of confusion on was the Geo-Services. But once I figured that out, it was very simple. Billing was quick and easy. I wanted to see a billing portal online but I've been told that they're coming out with that.

It's been a little over a year that we've been using Frontpoint. We went for it versus its competitors due to the ease of being able to set it up myself, as well as the cost and wireless factor. We usually use their mobile app to control the system and hardly ever use the keypad in the house. We decided to put a security system on the house because my elderly father-in-law came to live with us and in this regard, I do feel safer if I need to leave him in the house, or even with just having the system there. It's been very easy and such a pleasure using Frontpoint as our home security provider. In fact, I have recommended it to two people who have gotten it as well.

Our installation of Frontpoint went pretty bad. It's very disappointing because I was out of state working and my wife was home alone. I explained to Frontpoint that she's not gonna be able to install it and they said they would have it installed. It took them probably a week or more to finally get someone out there. And he wasn't even working for Frontpoint. He was some random person and he had no idea how to do it either. It's really not even installed to my liking.

I decided to use Frontpoint over other security service providers because the system is easy to install. Their team is very helpful when I installed the system and set it up. However, the mobile app is inconsistent. I don't know why but sometimes I wasn't able to access my system. I wanted to try to open the app and try lock or unlock, but it just didn't work. Still I'm happy that it does what it's supposed to do.
Nam, sometimes when we hear a customer mention concerns with the app we suggest they un-install then re-install the app. Usually this clears out any issues it might be running into, however, we're going to have someone reach out to you just to double-check on your app and system. Installing our Frontpoint security device was easy. I, however, haven't used the service that much for the past few months. There was a connector that had fallen down so whenever I set it to leave, it would just go off. They sent me a new one and I fixed it, but then a wire came out of the box, so sometimes it is in and sometimes it's out. I need to get back in the practice of using it but I don't have the time to fix it - I'm a single mom. Nevertheless, their team has been great, and they've noticed when things haven't been turned on and they contacted me. One of the big reasons I got it was to monitor my 13 year old to make sure that he's not jumping out the window or something like that, so I feel safer with it. Overall, Frontpoint has been great, and they've been more active about my security than I have.
We do like to keep an eye on things, which in turn gives you that peace of mind we promised you! Please let us know if you need anything going forward!

Frontpoint has been our home security provider for a little over a year. We had a great interaction with Amadis from their Customer Service who helped us out with getting everything set up and helping me get what I needed. The installation was very easy and didn't take us very long. During the process, I was talking to Frontpoint's team and they were very helpful. We had little glitch with the system and they worked right through it real quick. We use the system mainly when we're at home and it's been nice to have it and know that we are safe. I also use their mobile app, which I think is very good. I've recommended Frontpoint to several friends and family already.

I was looking for a home security system and the Frontpoint reviews I saw online were very good. And when I called in to Frontpoint as opposed to their main competitor, the service I got from Frontpoint was far superior than what I got from ADT when I called and tried to get their service. Installing their security device was super easy and I love their mobile app. Everybody at Frontpoint has been very courteous and responsive. We've had it for 15 months and my wife is at peace and she's loving it. I was thinking of cancelling it when my contract was up and go with a non-monitored service that wasn't automated, but my wife likes it and said no so we're keeping them. Overall, Frontpoint exceeds expectations.

I have tried the mobile app of Frontpoint and I like the old system better. It's more informative and easier to navigate. It's perfect. The new one has more clicking to get to the options of what you want to see. It might look better but it's just not as detailed. But I'd still recommend Frontpoint. Their team is responsive and fast. Installation is very easy, too.

I did some research and Frontpoint was one of the main providers, so I picked it from others. It's very easy to set the stuff they sent to install. No big deal. I also use their mobile app as I arm and disarm the alarm all the time with it. I never had problems before, but I used to talk with Philomena which is the person that I always contact and she's amazing. Since we have it we feel safer now and that's the objective of a security system. Even when the neighborhood is not a dangerous neighborhood but still, it's good to have it and I feel more confident with it, so far it's working fine. A couple of times by mistake it was activated and the response was good. I have no complaints.

I looked on the internet for the best rated security systems, and I went with Frontpoint since the independent reviews rated them the highest of all the other companies. I use Monitronics at another home I have in Connecticut and I was not happy with that company. Compared to Frontpoint, they’re on the opposite end of the spectrum. Installing my Frontpoint device was very simple. I had the support person on the phone helping me through, but I didn’t really need them, so it worked out well. With Frontpoint, I am more relaxed. They’re easy to work with, has great support, and I’ve had no problems.

I chose Frontpoint over other security service providers because it has the ability to alarm after the power was turned off. Installing it was hassle-free. Being able to access and control your system while on the go using the mobile app is very good. I'm away from my home a lot so I worry less about the house.

My alarm system’s getting outdated and I needed to upgrade it, so I did some research. Frontpoint was user-rated as the number one in this aspect, so I went with them. I also had an easy installation experience. The company sent the kit, I simply followed the directions, and then I had it activated. Previously, I didn’t have a modern service at all, but now with Frontpoint I have the capability to use the phones to arm or disarm my system. Controlling the alarm through the app is great. I don’t have to carry around a bunch of key fobs and switch batteries out when they die. The reps I dealt with were helpful and answered all my questions when my system’s power went out at one point. So overall, my Frontpoint experience was good and I’d recommend them.

It's been about a year or so that we've been using Frontpoint as our home security provider. Prior to switching to Frontpoint, we used a different security system, and in comparing the two services, I'm happy with Frontpoint. I decided to switch mainly due to the cost. Installing our device went okay. There were a couple of problems because the other system's wiring made it a little bit difficult, but in the end I got it. I've tried the Frontpoint mobile app, although I don't use Frontpoint a whole lot. It's a good service, but we don't set our alarm as much as we thought we would.

A friend of mine had Frontpoint installed in his house so I knew how easy it was to install that's why I decided to give it a shot based on that as well as the cost. I've been using it for about a year, and it's a good service and easy to use. Their mobile app is a great feature to have too. Installation was very straightforward and easy as well as using the mobile app. One time, I was cooking and a fire alarm went up, and Frontpoint was very prompt in calling and checking on us which was very nice.

For about a year, I've been using Frontpoint as my home security service provider and I like the way they offered everything without charging me for my central system. Also, they could just mail everything and I could install it all by myself without installation fee. Doing it was a breeze. My son has just put my contacts on my doors and set up my glass because I also have the alarms for the glass breakage. It only took five minutes to install. And the rep that I had was as friendly and helpful as he could be.
I also use their mobile app which is very reassuring. I had an incident a while back because one of my doors was not closing properly and it kept going off and I knew everything seemed to be secure. It was nice to be able to know that every once in awhile, I could look that up on the app to make sure nothing was jarred open. And when I'm in a hurry to leave or if I happen to forget, it's nice that I can make sure that the alarm got set and turn it off before I get to the house in case I need to have both hands free. It's a good thing. I'm very pleased with the system as a whole and I've had a wonderful experience with Frontpoint. I love it.

There was one instance where we have to change some information and my wife had to call because I wasn't able to. Frontpoint called me to verify, which I thought was cool as they did worry about the security. They emailed me to make sure that my wife was the one calling. Frontpoint offers a lot of peace of mind, especially since I travel often; so my wife feels more comfortable being able to have a security system. They are very good and simple, the customer service is great, and I haven't had any issues. I would definitely recommend it.

I like Frontpoint. I have another company that does not have a camera in a rental home which is in a much higher prime area and I just wish I had the camera with that one. I don't like systems that don't include cameras, and Frontpoint is my first system with one. I haven't had any problems at all and I've been completely pleased. Installing Frontpoint was a piece of cake, and the app is great. That's how I normally arm the system from the iPad while we're in the car, driving away. I had to call them once because my old main unit just stopped working, and they sent me out a new one right away.
With Frontpoint, I feel safer, have fewer worries, and feel more confident, just knowing that I can look in on my house any time. I did a few tricks on it, like when I was expecting a package, I set it to record all movement at the front door so I can see when my package is being delivered. I've used the cameras in the doggie cam, too. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Frontpoint.
That mobile app does make things easier doesn't it?

A good friend of mine and his girlfriend signed up with Frontpoint. When I was looking for a security company, he told me about them. I called Frontpoint, went with them, and have been happy with them ever since. I live in Marion, Ohio and there have been a lot of break-ins in our area so we thought it would be better to get a security system. The installation was easy and people are great. They call you to make sure that you’re doing fine and everything works well. They're polite and caring and they make sure you understand everything and you're happy. And they work with you if you have issues. They walk me through things to make sure that I set them right. Now, if you come in the house, the alarms go off, and if you don't turn them off quickly enough, they call you.
One time when we had a guest from another country live with us, he forgot to turn off the security system. The sheriff showed up within 5 minutes, handcuffed him and put him at the back of the cruiser. Another time, my wife forgot to lock the back door one night and the wind blew it open. They called to tell us about that. They're a great company. With them, I no longer worry about leaving the house or anyone breaking in because I know that within seconds the sheriff or someone will be there. I also got the Frontpoint mobile app and I use it all the time. It's great and I don't have any problems with it. I set it up at night in the house or from out of town and it works great wherever I am.
However, there were a couple of times that we had a problem with the system - it froze up at night. If it gets dark or if there's a storm in our area, we lose connections like the internet. I could set the system and it worked in town, but not at my house or within a couple of miles from it. I called Frontpoint about that but it wasn't their fault. They said, "Just go in town and see if it’ll get a clearer signal because that might be the clouds over your house." That’s the only issue I had and they figured it out for me. Another thing is I want is to get the camera system in my front and back door, my garage and my backyard, and to protect my building out back. But I haven't had the time yet. Overall, Frontpoint is everything. Their people are quick, the system works and I'm comfortable with it. I’d recommend it to a lot of people.

I Googled top-rated security system people and I found Frontpoint. They've been great but I haven't had them for a while because we're in the process of moving and I've lived with a relative for a few months. However, I will be initiating a service again in our new house.

When I googled the top 10 security systems, Frontpoint was ranked number 1 and I've been with them for two years now. The installation of the device was easy and everybody from there was nice. They were pros and they helped me out with anything I needed. When I tried to get the garage door to work, I called them. They had me move the monitor around, but we later figured out that the one they sent me was something I didn't want. I sent it back and they sent me a new one. Another reason I got Frontpoint was because of the mobile app. On the whole, Frontpoint works and it's stress free.

Frontpoint had good reviews, their customer service was excellent, and their rates were good so I purchased my security system from them. Installation was very easy. However I was a little disappointed, mainly with the motion sensors. They did not adhere to the wall as I thought they would. I just painted my house so I tried to put them up on the walls and they did not stick very well.
Michael, generally paint takes a full 8-10 days to completely dry so once you're done letting those walls dry, try gently wiping down the spot you wish to place your sensor on with a damp cloth. Let that dry, then apply your adhesive. If this still doesn't seem to work for you just give our Support Team a call and they would be happy to send you out different adhesive!

I've been using Frontpoint as my home security service provider for approximately a year. I opted to use Frontpoint over the other ones that were available in our area because they had a promotional deal and I could get a little bit more. Installing my Frontpoint security device was fairly easy, although it was a little challenging and didn't work well with the type of Windows that I had.

Frontpoint showed up as number one when I did a search for ratings on security companies - they had a higher customer rating compared to others. Installing was easy, it was compatible with most of the hardware of the house we bought. I was able to just program the rest of it. Plus the mobile app is good. Since its installation, it makes my 13-year old daughter feel better about being home alone. Frontpoint worked perfectly, we never had any problems.

We love Frontpoint. We had a previous security service provider but when my phone lines were messed up, they could not monitor me anymore so I had to find a wireless system. The installation of our Frontpoint was simple, and we use its mobile app all the time and we like it. Everything was great with our interactions with their team. It's an excellent system, and I recommend them every chance I get.

Frontpoint is much better than the one we previously had, which was already worn out. Installing the device was very easy, and having their mobile app is great. Their people have all been very helpful and positive, and I've purchased some additional things since. Overall, it is good and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it.

We've been using Frontpoint for a year now. Device installation was very easy. I don’t do smartphones so I haven't tried using the mobile app but my daughter has used it and it works for her sometimes. The security system is okay but it beeps at me sometimes when the door is not opening. My daughter keeps saying, “Well, you need to test it.” And I said, “That’s like testing a fire extinguisher. You don’t do it til you need it.” But one day I tested it and didn’t mean to and Frontpoint called in less than a minute and a half after the alarm went off asking for my security code so I thought, “Well, it works.” However I still want to know what beeps at me.

I'm big on research and Frontpoint came up as being in the top three. The house had a previous security service provider but it was not wireless. Installation of the device was simple - I only had one or two questions and it was a breeze. The guys in their team have excellent customer service and they answer questions clearly, and it's never a problem at all. I always feel safer with a blanket of protection around. It's nice to know that since it is wireless, there's nothing they can cut on the outside. As consumers, we all want to feel safer. Frontpoint is not perfect but it's a step to the right direction. Overall, it offers a fantastic value, and its wireless system is the way to go. I would recommend them.

I've been with Frontpoint for a year now and I never had any issue with them. I previously used a private alarm company when I lived in a different house, and it's different because they came in and installed everything while I did self-install with Frontpoint. Installing the equipment myself was very easy. I've had some equipment that needed to be replaced within the last year and Frontpoint was pretty prompt in getting it resolved. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. I use Frontpoint's mobile app and I like that I'm able to access and control my system anywhere I go. But I have concerns that somebody could hack into my account and possibly disable my alarm system.

We've been using Frontpoint as our home security provider for over a year. However, we don't use the pass-code very much like we should. So in some ways, it's been a waste for us not doing that. We were very unhappy with our previous home security provider and found Frontpoint to be one of the better-rated ones upon research.

Called the number, talked to a very knowledgeable gentleman. Was assured it was the best security system going and told me exactly why. Was easy to purchase, answered all my questions. I've been using Frontpoint for around a year already and every interaction that I've had with them has been fine. They had to replace a couple of the units that they sent me with no problems whatsoever. And they seem to be very friendly and easy to interact with. Installing the security device was fairly easy for me since I'm comfortable with electronics, technology and stuff. It pretty much has handled what I needed it for and certainly I feel very secure that I'm not sure there is any better services out there.
