I've used Frontpoint for less than a year. Installing the device is okay. I got it all, put it back and it's fine. I'm more comfortable since it was installed. I use their mobile app and it's fine too. They also have friendly staff.

I've been using Frontpoint for at least a year and installing their device was easy. You need to call them on the initial setup so I called once or twice a month and it was a positive experience. We also use their mobile app daily and being able to access the system anytime and anywhere was the whole selling point. Recommended!

I'm very happy with my experience with Frontpoint. I've been with them about a year and I love their customer service. I can call and ask them any retarded question and they would absolutely, brilliantly help me through it. They don't talk down to me and make it simple for me to understand. I've never dealt with a customer service that was as helpful as they are. I'm super stupid when it comes to putting in all the little sensors but they walked me through it and realized that that's not really what I needed - I needed something else and they were absolutely right about it and they didn't try to shove anything down my throat.
I love their phone app and when I set the alarm, my dogs go "huh?" and I race and get in my car and arm it from my driveway. My senior citizen mother also lives with me and Frontpoint is an added level of security. Like when I went to the mountain back in the end of the summer, I gave the remote fob to a friend and said if there's an emergency she should know how to get in and out. And we had a great time then and didn't have any problems. It's very simple and I've had no issues with Frontpoint so I'm very supportive of them as far as making recommendations. I'm very pleased with them and I had told families and co-workers about it. My contract will be up in a year and I plan on re-upping. I'm also looking to add some more features within the next year.

Installing the device was very easy. It didn’t take much to figure out how to do it and then I called Frontpoint and they went through the installation process with me to make sure everything is properly set up. The reps helped us when we moved from the house that we had installed Frontpoint to another house. We had to order additional units, the contacts and also the replacement payouts that go on the contacts and the reps were very prompt in taking care of it. I chose Frontpoint because they had the highest recommendation rating online among the security providers. It's a great system, and I wouldn’t have any problem with recommending them.

Frontpoint is our first security system provider and has been with them for about a year and a half now. Installing the system was pretty straightforward although we had one issue where the equipment was not functioning. We called customer support and they walked me through the steps to reset it and everything was resolved relatively quickly. My wife and I have the mobile app, however, we are not able to exactly recreate the way we arm the system at night on the mobile app. But other than that, it's very convenient to be able to control the system on the go.

I used Frontpoint through April then we sold our home. I had to put a suspension which is only good for three months so I have to work out another suspension since our new home is not supposed to be completed until sometime next year. I was completely happy with the service while it was active, especially with the feature of being able to go on the smartphone and activating it remotely. When we were selling our home, we could tell who was coming in and out of the home. I had no problems installing their device and their customer service reps were very helpful when I made a couple of calls to them.

It has high ratings - and we were looking at several different systems and got different recommendations - and the price was competitive. But the phone app is fuzzy. It doesn’t turn off the system quickly or it will show it's turned off and the service has not quite turned off the security system. So it had problems with starting the alarm when using the phone app but otherwise all the other parts worked really well.
Jaclyn, that mobile app is supposed to work quickly and help you control your system from anywhere. Since it does't sound like this has always been the case for you, we're going to have someone from our Support Team reach out to you to figure out what exactly is going on there. I haven't had any complaints in my one year of having Frontpoint as my security service provider. Everything they said they were sending came and they worked properly right out the box. I also got good guidance during the installation and I'm an engineer by trade, so it wasn't difficult. They were also very supportive when I went to test things. I also received a complimentary trial for the mobile app but I didn't use it all that much. Having Frontpoint makes me feel like we got somebody watching the house when I'm gone during the day. At night, we set the door sensors and sleep better because of it.

Frontpoint is a simple system. I put it in myself but I'm getting charged too much per what I have compared to that of other companies. Another company has the same kind of system and they pay $14.95 and I'm paying $42. Also we use the the remote that is used to lock the door with and to set the alarm when outside the house quite a bit and it broke and my husband had to fix it with some glue so we could use it.

I learned about Frontpoint through internet research and have been using it for over a year. It was pretty easy to install and the Frontpoint representatives were pretty helpful. I did try the interactive features. It’s very useful. I feel secure and I’m pretty satisfied. I’ll be using Frontpoint security in the future as well.

We installed the Frontpoint security device ourselves and it was easy. Their staff were friendly and I only made a few calls with them. But I haven't talked to them since I had a problem with two sensors that don’t work. I wanted to add or change and they said that I have to buy parts for it. I didn't like that. So the whole system is not a hundred percent working. It's not fair. Just because we installed it ourselves doesn't mean that they shouldn't have somebody to check it out. They have a very poor service.
Edson, we apologize for any confusion about the cost of adding sensors onto your system. After your initial purchase, any additions can cost a little more money, or if you're switching items we try to help you either pay nothing or very little to do this. We got the Frontpoint system in two days and the rep walked me through the installation, which only took 30 minutes. It was easy and I was pleased with the amount of time it took. Their staff helped me set up, then I had to call back once to activate it. Their interactive features works well when away from the house and being able to arm the door. I like that it is wireless and when the power goes out, it stays on. Excellent product and service!

It was easy putting up the Frontpoint security system in the house. We are over-the-road truck drivers and I’m running probably 10 months of the year, so I’m never home and having Frontpoint is a good thing. We also use the app. We have our own camera system that’s set up in the control. Service is good and the customer service is great. Only problem is that we have this sensor that goes off at 2 o’clock in the morning in our shed and another one in the basement. The police had been called out twice. We know the system works and there's nothing wrong with them.

I have been using Frontpoint as my home security provider for over a year now and pay about $50 a month for it. I was happy that the system was here when they said it was going to be here, and they charged me what they said they're going to charge me. I was able to get it all hooked up with minimal help, but the double-sided tape they gave me for the sensors doesn't stick very well. I found two of them stuck in corners that were on the floor when I got home after being gone for three months.
We have tried Frontpoint's interactive features, too. We found it thru the phone and the iPad and armed it when we had the kids come during the summer that we weren't here. We were looking at the camera through the telephone and the iPad. We can see if it's either armed or disarmed through alarm.com. I also set-up some alerts for one of my neighbors to be alerted when something is going on with my house. However, he still gets alerts even now that we're back home. Every time I go to the laundry room or the bedroom, he gets something on his phone and he's tired of knowing what I'm doing every minute of the day so I have to figure out how to turn that off.
However, while we've been gone all summer, the internet went out from a lightning strike. We had no internet for three months and I had no camera for three months, too. I can't get it hooked back up. I've plugged it in, I get it hooked up, and it works well. It's plugged into the internet and to the box. But as soon as I unplug it, it doesn't hook up wirelessly. I need customer service to walk me through it because I may be doing something wrong.
I've been busy trying to get them to get my internet, TV, and phone back. They put the passwords in my internet wrong, and they hooked up half of my devices. They logged in with the password they put in but when we tried the rest of them to hook up, the password we found was not ours. I had to work on that and got into an argument with them. Their repairman put these new things there and these new passwords into the system, and I can't get them out or change them. They can only change the ones they see from their office but he changed all of them when he was here. I asked them to send him back so he can change them.
They said I have to call my range extender company and deal with Netgear. I asked for their billing department because I want three months of credit. They gave me no service for three months. They said they can only give me $50 of the $450 I paid. I asked for somebody who can authorize a little more than that and told them I'm going to drop their service all together otherwise. Supposedly, they're going to give me three months. I still don't have the range extender working and the camera working.
Nonetheless, I would recommend them. The system has protected the house, we didn't have any break-ins. However, I only need them during the summer, from June to October, when we're gone. It gives me a level of comfort knowing that the house is protected even if we are in a low-crime area. I'd like to be able to pay for it during the summer and that's it, I don't know if that's an option though. We also have a private security company here for our development. They check out us everyday and the local police also check it periodically.

I’m extremely happy with Frontpoint. I especially like the way that I can access the status of the system via my smart phone and make changes to it. I can check to make sure my dog sitter has come over and fed my dogs. If I forget to turn the system on or off, I can do it from the phone. The physical system itself was very easy to set up and did not require me to pay someone to come and install it. I was able to add additional sensors to it.

I was looking for a cheaper home security service but wanted something different from ADT or Brinks, so I got Frontpoint. I've used it now for a year. Installing my device was very easy. I haven't tried any of their interactive features since I live in an apartment. The customer service reps are good. I don't normally get a lot of calls from them unless the alarm goes off, but they're good. I feel very secure and haven't had any problems or worries with the security system.

I’m pleased with Frontpoint overall. I use the smartphone app to arm the alarm and see when the doors were open. Anytime the alarm went off, Frontpoint called immediately and helped us out.

I used to have ADT but now I have Frontpoint. I've had it for less than a year and it's a lot better than ADT. The only problem I’ve had is my son set it off one time and I got a phone call - I took care of it, and they took care of it for me. As long as my alarm's not going off, it's working great and I've felt better about that especially when I'm out of town.

My only interaction with the Frontpoint's team was when I called initially to purchase it. It came and worked, and it was pretty much what I thought it would be. But they need to watch out a little bit because there’s so much stuff coming out now that’s half the price for the monthly fees. Sooner or later, everybody’s going to start staring at those.

I researched about security systems online and Frontpoint had the highest reviews in our area. It had the best features compared to others. It was very easy to install. I just had a little problem getting the camera installed properly, but it works well. It doesn't just record every motion but it records things that happened. Frontpoint also has the best customer service I have ever encountered. There were several occasions where we tripped the trigger ourselves and didn't know it, Frontpoint was right on it. It was very effective. I really really like it. They were very prompt, very perfect. I've recommended it to a lot of people. My only complaint is when I forget to set the system and remember it when I'm already far out of town. I need to set that and it takes time to load. It's worse but it works just fine. We even got a notification telling how many homes with Frontpoint in our area were without power when our power went out. That is kind of cool.

Frontpoint has been good when a piece of equipment is broken and when my alarm has gone off because of my employees, who haven't figured out how to use the alarm and then call right away and shut everything. I have one piece above the equipment I need to get replaced right now but I haven't called them. I'm sure that if I did they would be right out.
I like the mobile app and I use the system exclusively through my Apple. It works on itself once you can get it working. My problem with it though is getting the names and passwords set up for my employees so that all those people can get out depended upon needing for an email to get to them and they don't know how we got it. I know I've put it in correctly and I sat there with my employees waiting for the email to come so that they could set up the account but they haven't been able to do that. Also, the installation was not very good for my business. We don't have anything that works on our doors. I have solely motion detectors before, and before I got that or when I got my package it can be compatible with my doors. But with Frontpoint, there was no way to do it.

My experience with Frontpoint was neither bad nor phenomenal. I did all the installation but the pricing was a little bit high considering when I'm using it.

When considering pricing and any other pricing various companies are offering, we encourage you to compare your 100% cellular system with other 100% cellular systems. We tend to see all other systems being sold on hard wired systems with that cellular technology only as a backup that you pay extra for. I first encountered Frontpoint somewhere that I was able to read all their reviews. Installation was pretty straightforward but not all of the adhesion tape they gave me was very good, I had to call and replace some of it. I've been using it for probably 14 months now. My interactions with their team have been pretty good, it's fine when I speak to them. However I've had some problems and I voiced them all in a physical letter but I never received a response - either call or mail back. I called to ask about my letter and they said that they don't have it.
I think the mobile app is a good idea in theory. However I haven't had good results with it and I don't use it because the whole system is too sensitive. They sent people to my house a couple of times without any issues because my cat would walk past one of the sensors and it would sent off the alarms. The Fire Department comes out to my house and they threaten to bill me for coming out for no reason. Because of this, I want to be there to physically control it. I originally got the system because I was living by myself for the first time in my life. But I feel more comfortable now because I've been there for over a year and if I could go back, I would not purchase Frontpoint - I feel less interested in using the product.

I've been using Frontpoint since April of last year. I've talked to their staff a couple of times and they were professional. Installation was all pre-configured so it was simple. My only complaint is that it is a little bit pricey.

We've had Frontpoint for a year now after we changed from ADT. And Installing the Frontpoint system wasn't too hard - we just have to figure out where to get reception and place those monitors. However my husband's interaction with the team was so frustrating. Although not a whole lot has changed from our previous security service provider, it's good that Frontpoint devices are newer and smaller and it's been okay.

I’ve been using Frontpoint as my home security provider for two years now, and compared to the other company I had before them, Frontpoint's more dependable. While on our old provider, we had a break-in, and with it, our landline was cut to inactivate the alarm. This prompted us to make a change. Installing our Frontpoint device was simple and straightforward, and since their system has a wireless connection, we feel more secure. I also like to use the remote capability that makes me able to arm and disarm the service from our phone. Frontpoint's system works a lot better for us, and I love the peace of mind.

I've been around people who had other security systems. We did a little research and Frontpoint were the top on every list we looked at, so we purchased their system. It was weird to do the installation ourselves but we've got the cameras and we can access them at any time through the mobile app. I love the app because it's just like checking on the business when you're not there and we've never had any issues. I love all the notifications that we get like when the power went out the neighborhood, but the security system was still armed.
Their people have also been great to talk to. Everyone seems to know what they're doing - they know the questions to ask and if they've had any problems they haven't told us. We've had absolutely no problems whatsoever with Frontpoint. The comforting part with the business is I do not have to worry about it, so it's more of a release than anything. I think everybody should have a Frontpoint system.

I use Frontpoint for my investment properties, I buy a house, I flipped it and during the renovations I keep it alarmed with them. Installing their device was pretty straightforward and they're accessible via help support. When I have issues I'd call them. They’ve always been courteous on the phone and they’ve always been able to resolve any that I have whether it's getting additional equipment or if I lose one of the sticky glue pieces. I also call them to deactivate the alarms in between projects and they’ve always been able to help me out. When I'm not at the property getting updates when my contractors are there or when we left the door open, I do use their interactive features as far as my phone is able to alarm the system. So it's been a good experience so far.

I had trouble when I first installed Frontpoint's unit because I was getting some false positives. It turned out that my dog was running by the steps that caused it to trigger a few times. The customer service representative was very professional and gave me suggestions on how far away to move it and where to put it. That was more than a year ago and we’ve had no issues so far. It was a very easy experience.

I've been using Frontpoint for over six months. I had ADT before and they have a huge difference. ADT did not call me unless there was something really wrong. I've never had any issue with Frontpoint's customer service. They were all very efficient and knowledgeable. As for the installation, they were a little scary at first because I've never installed or taken care of things like that, but I didn't think it would be that easy. I also had some trouble when I was installing a couple of the occupancy sensors. I called them and I got an answer right away. They sent me extra adhesive and stuff which I got in two days. The gentleman that helped me out gave me some pointers and redirected me to one side where I could see some examples of how it was installed. He was very helpful and that was really great as well.
We have their interactive feature applications on my phone and my husband's phone. I love the fact that it shows us where and at what time the sensors are activated, and it gives us lots of specifics on the app itself. I'm very reassured since the installation of our security system because I'll get a text or a phone call right away when alarms are set off. We ran a couple of tests and I know that it's working. If we were to have a real emergency, it will certainly pay off. The experience was amazing, they're awesome.

I was reading on the internet and Frontpoint seemed to have a pretty good record. I spoke to some of the agents that had other security companies initially and they had problems with it which is typically their good press versus bad press. Frontpoint did not have the entire spectrum of some of these other companies but it had enough to make things work and that's what interests me plus I'm trying to keep my cost down. I'm a contractor so installation was not a problem, although, I had a couple of installation problems that don't seem to be resolved with Frontpoint. I have some outside metal sheds that I keep equipment in and I put the door closure system on them and they have a hard time functioning especially when it gets really hot.
The smoke alarm seems to work very nice, the doors seem to work fairly accurately and the windows seem to function correctly. I do not have the occasion to try the glass breaking portion but the motion detectors work. When I set the alarm off, most of the time they call pretty quickly and that's nice. Frontpoint is a good and fair priced company.

I've had Frontpoint for a little over a year now. It's the first home security service provider I've ever used. The security device was super easy to install and the team at Frontpoint was great. The system works good. I don't agree with the contract, though, so I wish I had waited and not gone with the company that has the contract.

Our experience with Frontpoint has been good - no issues. When we were purchasing it, the team were very professional and nice. No pressure so it was good. We installed the device ourselves and it was super easy. We haven't had to call, knock on wood, since we've turned the service on. We just got the alarm system for breaking in and since we've had it, we feel safe. The added benefit is that I have children and the door will beep if they open the door. We have the alarm on at night or when we're not here, so I don't worry about anyone breaking in. And if they do, the police are gonna get called obviously. I will definitely recommend them to our friends.

I've had Frontpoint for a little over a year. We bought our house a year ago and we have our own business now so I wanted to install a security system. The installation was straightforward. The only thing that I would like a better understanding of and probably like a copy of is the manual for the actual unit itself. Because there are many features, I still don't understand how I can access them. For instance, I'd like to know if I can turn on the motion sensors in just some areas of the house. Those are the kinds of things that I would find useful and I haven't got any kind of good resource.
I talked to them the other day because my panel battery is dying for some reason. I asked if that was normal and they said no, so they're sending another one out. I wanted to add smoke and flood sensors to the house and we're going to do that. I haven't talked to them specifically about getting a manual for accessing the other points in the house. I also called the other day to understand how the system worked because I haven't programmed various features yet. I hadn't labeled the front door, it's still saying keychain.
Managing and accessing the system is easy - we can access it online. There are features I'm not taking advantage of such as the prior sensors, etc. I still don't have enough information about the alarm. They said that it's going to text me if the alarm was off, we've never had it go off, but I want to figure out how to add my wife to that so we'd both get a text. Overall, it's been pretty good. I've been happy with it.

I have been broken into, and having Frontpoint gives me a better sense of security, particularly when I was traveling. I've used it for about a year and a half now. Installing the device was easy and straightforward and the Frontpoint team was very courteous and helpful.

We've had Frontpoint for a little over a year. There was no problem installing it. We like it and we feel fine since installing it. We live in a condo, we turn it on when we leave and turn it off when we come home and when we go to bed.

I chose Frontpoint for their wireless technology, price, and reviews. Installing the adhesive back sensors and motion detector was simple and the system is also easy to use. We use the interactive features almost daily and it's awesome. We can turn it on or off with our phones which is nice. My daughter's 12 and she uses apps, too. We've always been able to address when the alarm goes off. I can't carry my phone with me at work but we're lucky we have in-laws who are close. My wife is also able to access her phone when at work. We are able to tell whether there's a false alarm or not and have had a couple of them. We have a small dog and somebody brought him a balloon home. It got in front of the sensor 2 days in a row so we had the police here but at least we knew everything worked fine. I have recommended it to 3 friends and we'll do more of the other features when I'm able to afford a camera.

I have been using Frontpoint for a year and a few months. I've had another home security provider in the past but for a different house. I have had ADT and I've also had Honeywell before. They're all about the same but compared to them, Frontpoint is much better about giving immediate feedback. They are much more approachable and their staff is much easier to deal with. They're stodgy, more up-to-date. At first, I had a little bit of trouble installing Frontpoint. The first few days, I was trying to figure out how to actually use the different buttons on the coding machine. But they were very helpful and beyond that they answered my questions quickly so its very easy. The box arrived, everything was on place. I needed extra sticky tape, the double-sided tape to put one of them on and they all immediately sent them out. They were very receptive and very timely.
I haven't wanted any of Frontpoint's interactive features, I just wanted the basic system that I can walk out the door, turn it on and do that. I'm an older lady and I really wanted something I could turn on when I left the house and turn off when I returned. I'm not as adventurous as a younger person would have been. I personally think that any change in a person's sense of security depends on the neighborhood you live in more than anything.
I haven't had to interact with the Frontpoint team all very much. That, to me, is a sign of a system that functions well, if I don't have to bother them. I've been using home security systems for approximately 30 years and I like the idea of plug and play which is what Frontpoint system is. I like the idea of not having to have people wandering around your house and putting all those detectors in. I found that incredibly helpful. I would certainly recommend it for that reason alone.

When installing the device, everything turned out easy to do. My husband had it all done before I knew it. We've had it since the beginning of summer and so far, so good. Had a text today that our power had gone out. I like that idea. It makes me feel better that we do have some warning ahead of time if something's going on.

My experience installing Frontpoint's home security device was great. Everything worked out fine and their team was very knowledgeable. The devices were very easy to use and they just talked me through it. I have the mobile app and I love it. Being away from home, I know it's secure and it’s a comfort in the back of my mind when I’m off to work.

Frontpoint came up when I went online and they were one of the best there was so I called them. I'm in my 70's and my husband is 90. You can’t see us climbing up in the ceilings and everything to fix it up. So they sent somebody to come over and put it in for us. And one of the doors wouldn't work because it didn't have strong enough signal. They put something else in there and it worked. They've been real good to us and I was really happy about that.
My husband wouldn't go anywhere because he was worried about being robbed or something. There's nobody around us for a mile in any direction. It'd be really easy for somebody to come in and take everything we had while we were gone. So having Frontpoint is a big thing because it gives us sense of security. When we went away for a trip all the way to California, we didn't worry about it. We just called them before we left and they were on guard. We got the whole package. They also have the thing to put around your neck. Like when I went off to the doctor this morning, he put that around his neck. If anything went wrong, all he does is push a button and that notifies them that he needs help. For old people like us, it's a nice thing to have. So I'm real happy with them so far and I don't have any complaints.

Frontpoint's installation was very simple. I got the motion detectors and all the sensors for my doors and windows. Their customer service explained everything to me and gave me their number to call if I had any questions. They also told me about the mobile app and I do have the information to activate it. There are few pieces that I still got to add to the system though the one I have now worked fine. My sense of security is better since I got it. It’s a good system, top of the line and the best I can get. I had no problem with it.

My experience with Frontpoint has been good. I’ve been using them for 2 years. Installation was fairly easy since I already had some previously installed and it was almost a direct swap between the old stuff and the new. Everything has pretty much worked. I use the app to monitor the alarm and to turn it on and off. I also get emails and monthly updates from them once in awhile. It’s good to know that we have it.

I've been using Frontpoint for about two years now but prior to this, I used ADT. Frontpoint is much better. The device is very easy to install and their team has answered all the questions I've ever had for them. I use their mobile app on my laptop and on my mobile device. This mobile access is one of the pluses of why I chose them.

We've used Frontpoint for about a year and a half now, although at first, we had some problems during installation so we ended up ordering another one. They were very helpful on the phone and I don’t remember being discouraged about anything. Everything really went smooth. It was a good experience - there were no issues and no frustrations. I basically set it up when I’m home alone.

We chose Frontpoint home security service because our new place is a remote location in Vermont. The fact that it was cellular, it made good sense for us in case the power went out. Installation was very simple. We just read the book then talked to the people. We had a couple of questions about glass breakers and how to test it. It was very straightforward and worked well. I interacted with their team when I needed instructions for the homeowners to transfer them. It came within that so it’s kind of good. We have the alarm on our cell phones so when we're away from the house, we can tell if everything’s still locked up.
I think managing and controlling the system is good. I did disable it at one time. We had some construction and I put the two halves of the magnet and something wasn’t permanent enough and they fell-apart while we were gone and the alarm went off. I was able to talk to the police department and was able to turn that section of the alarm off while we were gone. That worked well though we just use it when we're gone. It’s been excellent. Easy to deal with and the system did just what they said it was going to.

My secretary has Fronpoint in her house and I got them shortly thereafter. It’s been close to 2 years now that I've used them. I like their smartphone app and use it 99% of the time. The only thing I worry about is if somebody got my phone and being that I don’t have to log in to use it every time. That’s the only thing that worries me because it’s always on. Other than that, it’s been fantastic. Frontpoint makes me feel much better.

My wife did all the research for a security provider and we didn't want to go with ADT because they're a pain in the butt. So when she found Frontpoint online, she took care of everything while I was gone. She did all the installation and told me it was very simple and easy. We've been using the system for about a year and a half now. We use their mobile app all the time - it's on all our phones - we get emails every time our sensors active. Frontpoint gives a great sense of security, I can go places and not worry as much. Plus, I'm not paying an arm and a leg for a system. I would definitely recommend it.

We've been using Frontpoint as our home security service provider for about a year. Since having the system, I feel a little bit safer. Before this, we've used an old one. Both providers have the same idea as far as the sensors. But whenever I had any questions, Frontpoint has been awesome. Their team was very helpful and polite and they provided actual service, which we don't get much anymore in Canada. I have their mobile app installed so I can view through the cameras and change the settings on my phone. Hopefully I'll never have to use it, but it's the best thing out there right now. Frontpoint is user-friendly and their service is great. They're a little pricey but I've recommended them to other people.

Installing my Frontpoint device was simple. Everything was self-explanatory, and I put it all in myself, then I called them up and activated it. Also, their customer service team was easy to get along with. They explained everything to me well and anytime I had a question, they took care of it right away. I use their interactive features everyday too, and it’s easy. I can turn the lights and everything that I’ve got hooked up on and off. It’s simple, works really good, and since installing my device, it gives me a break on my insurance. I like that I installed the system myself, didn’t have anybody come into my house, it’s on a cellular network with no wires or anything, and that there’s no fees as far as having a phone line.
That's right! Having that 100% cellular technology definitely has it's perks and keeps you the safest.

Frontpoint has been wonderful and everybody's been very nice. It's been great every time we call. We got all the windows done. We get an email every time we accidentally set the alarm off. There's been a lot of break-ins here but we feel very safe now, at night or when we have to go away. My husband travels a lot and he just turns it on whenever he leaves using the app on his phone. It's easy to use and well worth the money.

The first day that we installed Frontpoint home security, we forgot to close the doors when we left the house. Someone actually came in and the security people called us immediately. When we got home, the officer was waiting on us. It was very fast. It was just great. We have the mobile and it’s very convenient. When I forget to set it when I leave, I can do it from wherever I am. My sense of security has been heightened. So we feel safe with the security system. Their team is very helpful and the installation was easy and quick.

Installation was fairly easy. The only issue I had was that they're installed with tape so some of the units, the fire protection units fell off. Maybe giving customers the option of using screws to mount would be a better alternative.

We really enjoy Frontpoint. We have been using them for about a year and a half now for our bedrooms, living room, and the whole downstairs. We've had it go off accidentally a couple of times and the Frontpoint team were always prompt with calls, so we were very impressed. Since installing the security device, I have a more secure feeling when I'm not home. It was a very good value for the dollar and it was easy to install, too.

Any time I tried to call and needed help with something, I didn't really have to wait too long with Frontpoint. Whoever I talked to helped me out with whatever issues I had. The system wasn't so hard to install, with thousand of help online. It works the way it's supposed to and I don't have any problems with them at all. Recommended!

Frontpoint is easy to set up. It’s pretty straightforward. The only challenging type is the door sensors that are embedded and so one of them got stuck a little bit. So it took a while to get it to work reliably but other than that, everything was fine. I also use the mobile app on our iPhone all the time and it's great. Since using Frontpoint, we’ve become more secure, though we have a dog that barks at home and we don’t use it when we’re home. We only use it when we’re away but it does give us peace of mind and it’s easy for neighbors to use when we need them to come over to feed pets and things. We'd recommend it - it’s really good. I can know which sensor is triggering and so on. I’d say the remote access is what we use mostly and that definitely stands out at being a great experience.

I have used Frontpoint for a year. The setup was easy and any interaction I had with their team was perfect. However, I had to transfer my contract to the new tenant and it took ages and nobody ever called me. It's still not done and it's been more than a week. I don't understand why it was so easy to set it up but the transfer has been a nightmare. It's either the people in charge of that are not aware of it or didn't reply to the email and telephone message I left. I'm a bit disappointed in the end with the customer service because it's easy to set up when you pay but then when you need to transfer to another tenant, there's no one to help you.
Nicolas, we apologize for you having to wait during this contract transfer. Generally these transfers go well and are wrapped up pretty quickly, however, they do depend on the new party taking over the contract too. We're glad to see one of our Support Supervisors, Rob, was able to reach out to you and explain why things might be taking a bit longer than normal. I've been using Frontpoint for a little over a year and a half. I didn't have any issues installing it and their team was cordial and easy to work with. I have the smartphone app and I think it's great. It's the only way I use the system. The only thing that I'd like to change is the initial contract that I was entered into and the readjustment. It would've been better if it was year to year or even a 6-month contract but I like the service so it's fine.

I really like Frontpoint. It's definitely one of those things that had I known it was that easy and handy, I would've gotten it sooner. It's just great having a peace of mind. I'm right on a main street here, and sometimes I have to leave the country for a couple of months and it's really nice to know that everything's fine. Their customer service has been great too. I had to call them a couple of times to ask questions and they've always fixed it right off. Overall, Frontpoint more than met my expectations.

I have used Frontpoint a little bit over a year, 1 year. It was easy for me and it was quick to install. One time there was a false alarm, my cat activated inside the house and it was after 10 minutes even before anybody showed up. I've also tried their interactive features which is great, very good option. I didn't have any problem. I installed that because we previously had an invasion. But since then, nothing happened. I have sense of security for sure.

Frontpoint is my first home security provider and I have been using them for about a year now. They're very helpful and friendly when I call but installing the device wasn't okay. I wasn't too crazy about the little door sensors, they do not fit in. They put the system and sensors in my house and tried to send some more back out with it. My house is bigger and the sensors are a bit much harder to put on everywhere. It's a bunch of sensors and it would be a headache if ever I will move. I wish I would've gotten some more detail about it. I'm dissatisfied with Frontpoint. I am under a contract so I'm only going to pay it out and then find someone else.

Compared to another provider we have, Frontpoint's price is a lot more economical and they didn't have to have anybody come in to our house. Installation of the security system was very easy. Their people were great and answered all my questions. It's great service at a great price. It's a great peace of mind to have and the interactive feature is very convenient. I use the app all the time.

The house I’m renting had a built-in alarm from ADT but I wasn’t feeling it so I looked into getting an alarm system. The notion of purchasing my equipment and taking it wherever I go was much more alluring to me because I move around almost every three years. I’m a former military and it seems to be my life to move around the country. So I thought, “Okay, I’ll buy the equipment.” Essentially, I’ve got to pay full cost for the Frontpoint device.
They have different equipment that their competitors don't have--sensors on windows and doors, smoke detectors, glass break and motion sensors--which are interesting and easy to install. I once had a defective sensor but they immediately replaced it within two days, which was an immediate turnaround. I’ve had no failures on the equipment amd it works as advertised. What they don't have, same with their competitors, is a video system which I ended up supplementing so I could see what's going on in every corner.
Two other negative things about them is the notion of having a contract and their monthly fees. When I first joined, they had me do a one year contract and then it expired. They contacted me periodically to get to renew and I never did. They supervise the service but the caveat is if they decide to raise the rates in the future they can do so. Also, their monthly fees are high compared to other providers. SimpliSafe is about 15 bucks a month, while Frontpoint is roughly 40 bucks a month. I could go with SimpliSafe and get it at a cheaper rate, but the equipment's different, and Frontpoint provides what I want.
But other than these, they've been responsive. I walked in and tripped the alarm by myself by accident, and they get right on it. They confirm it to make sure it wasn’t operator error and if I say no, or when somebody peels off the sticker and throw it on the wall, they’re good to go. The response is as advertised and they keep an eye on my house. It’s durable and it works, that’s the beauty of it.

Often times that cellular connection is only used as a back up and you get charged extra if you want it. Installing Frontpoint was very easy and they have good customer service. We've had them under a year and a half. So far, it has functioned well. We also use Frontpoint's mobile app. The main reason we went with the company was to be able to manage and control the security system on the go. On the whole, Frontpoint has an excellent product, however, they need more pricing options. I feel that it's a little pricey for what we're getting. That's why I don't know if we'll stay with them after our three years.

Frontpoint is my lone home security service provider over a year. I just found it over the internet and it was easy. Installing it in my house was interesting and simple. Their guys are good and prompt in their work. One time, I left my house and I didn’t close my garage door all the way and it drifted open and it went off after we left. They called and then the police came out here and looked in. They said that’s probably what it was. I like it, it really works. I use it mostly for when we go out of town for a couple of days or when we go to church on Sunday morning. I live on 5 acres outside of town and it would be really easy to get into the place and get away with it.
As of right now, I’m going to keep it but I’d like to have a couple of cameras outside my house, in that way my house would be really secured. I also like that I could check it through my phone. I just haven’t delved into it like I should’ve. I would like to maybe find out and to call in and talk to a technician about it. This technology is great. I know its 40 bucks a month but even when I’m gone and it’s on, to me it’s worth every penny of it.

Installing my Frontpoint security system was really easy. I thought it was going to be harder than what it was, but it was self-explanatory. They make it really easy and they're customer-friendly. I ran into a question and they were really helpful over the phone in helping me get it figured out. We use the iPhone app and it's great to use. We feel safer with the house armed.

It's been 16 months since we had Frontpoint, and it feels really good. The device was very easy to install and my interactions with their people have been good. We use the interactive feature all the time.

Installing the Frontpoint security device was easy, though we had a little bit of trouble with the sensors not staying adhered to our sliding glass door. One of them fell off and broke, and they replaced it. We ended up using extra tape or glue, and that's our only complaint. The Frontpoint team has been very helpful whenever we talk to them. Overall, the system has been effortless and we feel like there's more security. We sometimes use the app on our phones, which is very helpful and necessary.
That mobile app definitely makes things easier doesn't it?

I like Frontpoint a lot better than the one I had before. The person who installed the system was a contractor, and it was good and very professional. We use the interactive features for smartphones and I like it. Our home is about an hour away from work. It's a second home and it is very well-protected.

A young lady that lives in DC with her family knows one of the owners that started Frontpoint and she talked to me about it through her mom. We thought we should get it for our apartment. It was easy enough to install, so we bought it. We've had it a year now. My husband and I installed it and there were no issues. We called Frontpoint and they told us step by step how to do it. I also talked to the team to ask them a set of questions that we had. With Frontpoint, I know that it's there so when I'm outside, I'm depending on that. If somebody comes through, I know it will be handled by the police. The system is great and it's suitable for our needs at this point. It's a good system.

FrontPoint has been our security provider for about a year now. The installation of the security device was easy and the installation team was very friendly and willing to help me. Since the installation, my sense of security has improved. I am happy with them. The only concern I still have is that I have a cat, so I can only use the external points and not the internal ones. I'm trying to figure out where to place those internal lasers.

If the alarm gets set off, Frontpoint wants a password to shut it off but we don't remember what the password is so they sent the cops anyway. There wasn't a hint. Other than that, I love that I'm able to manage the system on the go but I don't remember any of my usernames so we can't get into their interactive features right now so I wish they had a remote. People had been nice but I have had previous ones better at a different house. Other than the app, they seem the same with more features.
Christine, you're right, if the incorrect password is given we can't give you hints and this is a built-in safety feature of your service. We want to make sure that no intruder is at your home pretending to "be you" and let them access your personal information. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

I've been using Frontpoint for more than two years. It was easy to install, and we've tried its interactive features and it works well. Only issue I have is the camera because I have a limited storage space and when I set it to the Sudden Motion, it starts taking pictures all the time. It doesn't work well and gets full within a day or two, which I don't like, and I won't be able to use it to take a picture the whole month. I hope they improve it in the future. Other than the camera system, I have no issues at all. I'll definitely recommend Frontpoint.

I've been very pleased with Frontpoint's products and their service. Installing the security device was very simple. Their team walked me through things to start, showed me how to do it, and it was good. I can set my alarm from my cellphone or my iPad and interact that way with it. It shows me when the last person went in the house and come out. I like it a lot because if I forget to set my alarm, I can do it from anywhere. I now feel more comfortable concerning security. I had one smoke detector sensor go bad and they immediately sent me another one out and had it replaced.

I've had Frontpoint for a little less than a year. There weren't any issues installing it as it was fairly easy to do. My son-in-law and I were on the phone with the Frontpoint team and they basically walked us through the installation process. Everyone was very nice on the phone and customer service was good. Since it's been installed, I do feel more secure. However, there was a time when my daughter and grandson went to my house back in spring and she forgot the code by one number. They got hold of me at work and everything was settled so the police weren't dispatched. However, I was billed $50 because I hadn't registered the security system. That was a stiff fine. I was under the impression that when I set everything up with Frontpoint, they'd register it with the local police department. They need to let the customers know during the sign-up process that they'll need to do it, but they did not.
I got the notice in the mail and I contacted them to say that I did not feel that I should be charged because I didn't know anything about registering it with the police. They did investigate it and they agreed to drop the case. Other than that, everything else about Frontpoint has been great. It was very smooth, which was nice not to worry about wiring or about messing anything on my walls. I also like the fact that it's portable, that I can take it with me if I choose to move.

I did a lot of research. Based on my research, Frontpoint seem to be coming out in front. I needed something really reliable, had good customer service ratings and that was affordable. It has been two years now and I am still using Frontpoint. I like their system. Installing their device was very easy I didn’t need any help. I’ve always found their guys really polite, they were really easy to work with and were really helpful. I’ve been having some issues with multiple repeat burglaries. They tried to enter in different places in my house. I had the different motion detectors at various places and the Frontpoint person was able to say: “This is where they entered and everything. They went past this motion detector and then passed this one then to the door, they opened the door then they shut it. Then they came back through and then ran out the window again.”
I think am dealing with burglars that are professionals. They really are persistent and getting bold in trying to get inside. Frontpoint’s sirens went off every time these burglars get successful entering my house and it makes them get out of it quickly. I didn’t lose anything in that process because it gives me an added measure of protection. I also put it in the basement of my house. Even when I’m here alone or my daughters here alone and I want to make sure she has an extra measure of safety, I will put the security system on so that if she’s sleeping, I know if someone happened to enter, she would be alerted that it’s been breached. And also the likelihood that it would probably scare them away. It’s easy to use the system and anytime that I needed to call Frontpoint they’ve always been extremely helpful.
I’m glad that I purchased Fronpoint. So as long as I have the system on and when I leave, I have that extra measure of security. I would definitely recommend this. It’s a system that I would keep. Even when it comes up for renewal again, that is a system that I would continue to use.

I installed Frontpoint over at my mom's house and it was fairly easy. It's a pretty straightforward system. You get all the sensors that you need. Whenever there is an alarm triggering, Frontpoint has been fast at getting a hold of me whenever they cannot get a hold of my mother or my brother. They also call the authorities whenever I ask them to. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Frontpoint. It's a little expensive, but everything works as expected. Frontpoint is reliable.

First of all let me say I Hate change. I like what I am accustomed to. I had ADT since Feb. 2011. I ordered Frontpoint. The equipment sat here 4 months before my son installed it today and got it set up. I do not like the panic pendant. It is very bulky compared to my ADT pendant. It weighs 2 ounces compared to my ADT weighing .5 ounces, and I don't like a 3-year contract. They did not have a bracelet version but said they will send me a key fob, which is smaller. I will be happy when I get that. Customer Service is very friendly and helpful. I like that the range of 500' with my pendant is much better than ADT's range. I like that ADT identifies specifically which door has been opened. I don't know what this one will do or say. Time will tell. This is my first night with Frontpoint. I hope it is going to be a positive experience for me.

Frontpoint has really strong customer service. I sent an inquiry about the system via the internet and less than two minutes later, somebody called me - very professional and well-versed in the system, didn’t try to oversell the needs of my home on their options, and walked me through the strengths and benefits of different options and different packages. When we call, they answer very quickly and it’s always a human being which is nice. They’re friendly and responsive. The device is self-install, and has a low complexity installation process. The ability to add on if needed is nice which we’ll do someday.
We have the app and use it frequently. We arm and disarm remotely. If we’re on vacation, we can check on the status of the alarm system. There’s no apprehension about the house being molested at all when we’re not around. We're definitely promoters of Frontpoint. They are efficient, responsive, and reasonable.

Installing Frontpoint security device was quick and easy. I had to make a few phone calls and in one phone call, I spoke with an installation guy who took me through the steps. I've already used its mobile app to try the interactive features as well. There's no problem at all accessing and controlling the system anytime and anywhere. The Frontpoint team was quick and responsive that I've never had to bother about any security after installing it.

Frontpoint's mobile app is the one feature that I like the most. I use it all the time and it's really useful for me at this point and very nice to be able to manage the system while on the go. We've had the security system since the end of last year and it's been smooth when it came to the installation and their people. I'm happy with Frontpoint so far. Although I'm paying for it already, I wish the price would be lowered a little but it's fine.

I’ve used Frontpoint for about a year and I’d recommend them. The installation just seemed a little complicated, so I had somebody else set it up for me. When the door sensors quit working, I called their customer service. They said that was unusual so they sent me a new one. They stayed on the phone with me while I installed it so their customer service were helpful and effective. I also have a Frontpoint sign out front which helps and now I feel better having it. It seems like an added layer of protection.

It's been over a year since I started using Frontpoint. Before that, I didn't use any other home security provider. I did a little bit of research and so I decided to get them. Setting up the system was very easy, quick. When I hooked it up, there was really good customer service. The system is very user-friendly and I had a really good experience with their team. They were very informative, they walk you through it and then eventually you feel completely comfortable. Since setting up the system, I know that if I leave the house or even while I'm sleeping, if anybody even tries to open the door I just feel safer. Overall they're a good company. I would recommend them to my friends.

I did the installation myself and it was simple and easy. I like that I'm able to access my system on the go using the mobile app. I don't even touch the monitor thing itself. I do everything through my phone. The house is more secure now. Every interaction I've had with the Frontpoint team was pretty well. I've had a great experience and have nothing to complain about.

I've been with Frontpoint for a little over a year and setting up the equipment was super simple. Took me a half hour to pretty much plug it in, call them and everything's ready to roll. Since then, my wife feels safer. It was more for her and her peace of mind. On the other hand, my feeling of safeness or security hasn’t changed. Even with a security system, I’m still leery of break-ins but I’m happy that I have it. Also, I'm still in the process of figuring out which of their interactive features to use. However, I have a neighbor that I suggested Frontpoint to and he gave me spectacular reports about the interactive features. He thanked me for recommending them and he’s happy as can be with his as well.
But if I could summarize my experience with Frontpoint, I'd say they have great customer service. Anytime I called, I've got an immediate response to talk to an actual person. Everything has been remedied, granted there have been no major issues, just minor ones. Case in point, I needed extra sensors so that I could open my windows to let some air in during summer months and get some ventilation in the house, and talking with their customer service representative, he’d remedy the situation right away. The extra sensors was sent for a second point on the window and the security system is still operational. I’m happy that with Frontpoint I could talk to somebody, and things are remedied right away. They work with you.

We've had Frontpoint for a year and a half. We had ADT before and we like Frontpoint a lot. It doesn't seem to go down or we don't seem to have quite as many false alarms and stuff with this as we did with ADT. Plus, installation took Gregory no time at all, so it must have been good and easy because he is not that tech savvy about installing things. We do also have the app on our phone. Sometimes when we've been out of town before and disabled it so somebody like his mom could come in and then he'd set it in. I feel good about it. We feel safe especially when we're gone. We're very pleased with it.

A lot of people recommend Frontpoint a lot online, so I had given it a shot. Installation was simple, and somebody called me and walked me through the process. I got a call a couple of times but it turns out to be false alarms, but there wasn't anything negative about the experience. I also use the alarm app and it's very convenient. It does its job, it's good, and it triggers when it's supposed to. I did a lot of research on ADT and a lot of people have very negative things about it and that installation was supposed to be cumbersome, but there were no such issues here and it was good.

I opened the package and it was absolutely easy to install. We like that it's wireless. It's definitely a bonus there. We had one incident where I didn't catch up with the alarm, and they called and I verified the code as I saw it. It wasn't until the code is wrong but the police would've still called us. I don't know if that's a security feature that I need to be happy or upset about because the police were still called. But so far it's working and we have no problem.

I definitely like Frontpoint, especially the customer service, compared to the one I used before. When I have any questions, they're willing to answer it and help me with any inquiries I might have. I haven't had any issues with the installation. As far as it being cellular, I think its better than what we had before, which went through analogs so we had a lot of issues with it using the internet. The mobile app is a great feature that I use often too. Since having this security system, we have felt more secure being at home and away from our home as well. It's well worth having this home security with the benefits that it gives us.

With a little help from Frontpoint’s guys over the phone, setting up my system was an easy experience and their team was very good during my interactions with them. I feel more secure when we're not home since we had the Frontpoint security system installed. Frontpoint's better than the system I previously had. It is also low maintenance. Moreover, I have used its interactive features in adding and removing people.

I've been using Frontpoint for a year. There was no problem with the installation of the security device as it was easy. I use an app on my iPhone where I set my alarm in it and can turn it on and off. My front porch device was working well and all of a sudden it didn't work and I wasn't able to do anything in it even if I put it on. What disappoints me the most was that some people broke into my house. This happened about a month ago when I went on a trip for two days. When I came back, there was a hole in my front door. They had opened the door, but the alarms must have scared them because I didn't see anything that was stolen. The thing is no one alerted the cops and nobody showed up I made a report and the cops told me that nobody was dispatched there so I don't even know if it's working or not. I'm dissatisfied and I want to know what happened.

Frontpoint has been excellent all the way around. The only thing is that the competition has lowered their rates so I'm still paying a high rate compared to the lower rates. With the recent price war that's going on, Frontpoint should reflect about it with their existing customers.

When you're looking at all the prices offered by the various security companies out there, you want to make sure you're comparing a 100% cellular system with your 100% cellular Frontpoint system because generally other companies offer that cellular connection but only as a backup and for an extra fee. Frontpoint is very easy to install. I feel safer and have less worry. Our daughter’s older so she stays by herself and I love the fact that it sends me a text notification every time it’s alarmed or disarmed. Frontpoint has a fair price and set up was relatively straightforward. I had an issue with one of my sensors being not detectable because I have an old stone home and the upgrade was long distance to our network. So far Frontpoint has been good.

There wasn't a problem installing the Frontpoint security device and interacting with their staff was not complicated. They just call and say what's going on, then I tell them and that's it. I've tried using the smartphone app as well. Overall, I'm happy with my experience.

Before I got Frontpoint, I used ADT. These two services are much different. ADT let me down big time and I was disappointed after being with them for at least 12 years. On the other hand, I'm very pleased with Frontpoint and its customer service. Every time I've ever had any question, the Frontpoint reps have been extremely friendly with me. Also, the app on the smartphone is very convenient, especially for my wife.

It’s been almost a year since I used Frontpoint, but this is my second time. I used Frontpoint back in 2012. I was married back then and my ex-husband took over the system. I like the ease of use and it was simple. I didn’t have to have it installed, I could do it myself and it’s very easy. I use the interactive features with my phone. I love it. I definitely feel a lot more secure, especially using the audible part when the door opens or when I open it.

There's a blog called The Wire-cutter which recommends good technology stuff. They're very meticulous in their research and they recommended Frontpoint. Now, we've been using Frontpoint as our home security provider for 15 months and it's important that we are able to access and control our system on the go because we got the system for a second home that's 130 miles from where we live Monday to Friday.
People go into the house, like the exterminator, and now I know when they're in and out. When the garage opens, the sensor will say, "Front door opened." If some people happen to be in the kitchen, they would have a sense of the flow of the house and would know who's coming up the driveway until they show up. It's also great for people who are bad with alarms and always trip these up because I can turn the alarm off before they come. It's also helpful for us because I have connected the temperature sensor with it so if our heat went off I would know before it was a disaster to get the plumber in to do something. There are a lot of things that are related to the fact that we are so far, like I don't use it for the police because there are none in that area. Also, because it's a central station fire alarm, I got a fair amount off my home insurance, close to $1000, and that's real money.
Our house is large-ish and we had things in the garage which are not connected to the house. I put the system together myself and there definitely were issues like things that didn't quite work out. But their sound customer support was helpful in getting things going, so generally it was good. I kept at it and was able to get it done myself with their help. Their team was terrific and they knew where I was in the situation, even though I kept talking to different people, and I didn't have to explain myself. There were a couple of issues, like some sensors needed batteries right away, so I would call to get batteries and they would send it out right away. But the lighting thing that I can use to turn the lights off and on remotely through an app doesn't work. So there are little things to work through but these are doable. Overall, the system puts a sense of security and we don't feel in danger.

I've used Frontpoint for 3 years and it was very easy setting it up. Also, the Frontpoint team were very courteous and friendly. I have tried using their mobile app as well and it's very user-friendly. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the service and the customer support I received from them.

I decided to go with Frontpoint because they provide the cellular technology and my previous provider didnt have it at the time. It's great that I'm able to access my security system anytime and anywhere. I am able to turn it on and off as needed through my cellphone so that's a nice part, and the remote feature is super that way. As far as Frontpoint service, I've had no issues. I've only had to deal with them once in the year that I've had it and they sent me out a new sensor and that worked really well. Moreover, installing the system is as easy as one-two-three for me. It was not difficult at all and anybody who has any basic knowledge of technology can do it.
However, I didnt realize when Frontpoint signed me up that I was paying the service in US dollars. I'm paying a bit more or a bit less, but that was an unfortunate thing that I think Frontpoint can do a bit better to solve and explain to the consumer when they're having them sign up that this is in US dollars and it will change. But overall, my experience has been posotive and I'm going to re-sign with them when the contract expires.

It was an easy and painless process. I’ve been using Frontpoint for several months now. I use the phone app and its very nice to access and control the system. I definitely feel more secure. I haven’t had used the system much but today though, the fire alarm went off which was false. I don’t know why it did.

I've been happy with Frontpoint. It was pretty easy setting it up and every time I've had a problem, it got resolved. I also use their mobile app which comes in handy and I like it. Overall, it was a positive experience and our sense of security now is a lot better with Frontpoint.

I like Frontpoint because I could take it wherever I want to go. I could transfer it if I'm not living at the same site. Compared to ADT that I have used before, I like Frontpoint better. Installation was very easy. The customer service team was very helpful while I was setting it up and it just took me a few minutes. I have the app on my phone and I like looking at it when somebody comes home. I feel much safer when I leave since the home is safer. I also sleep better at night knowing that I have the security system. I like telling my friends about it.

I signed a contract with Frontpoint for three years and my term runs out midyear next year. So far, I've had good luck with them. I would have done the installation myself because there’s nothing to it, but I’m essentially blind. So the guy contracted for my gas from Decatur, Alabama put them in instead. But when the magnet in my front door wasn’t making contact and it went out, I talked to people from Frontpoint and they sent me another magnet. I put it on by myself in two minutes. It’s a very simple thing and I love it.
The only thing is I sometimes open the door and the alarm goes off – I forget. But everything has been fine and I've been intending to call them soon to find out about their windows. I want to find out how much adding the windows would be. The young lady that I talked to when I put Frontpoint in was sweet, but I didn't think about the windows at the time. They didn't talk to me about it either when they sold Frontpoint to me. I didn't read their materials and instructions as well. I've been so busy.
My wife doesn’t have tough windows, only double pane, so she gets concerned about that sometimes. I’ve listened to other people that advertise them and they’ve sent a letter too. They have stickers that you put on there and they’re easy. I’ll check on that and see what they’ve got. With Frontpoint, I feel more secure and I like it. It’s just me and mama here and we’ve haven’t had any break-ins. She’s crippled and I’m nearly blind. My contract is with the people in Virginia and when I call them or have a problem, they get it solved one way or another. On the whole, I’ve had a good experience with Frontpoint and they get an A+ from me.

I had a little help from my nephew installing my Frontpoint device and it was good. We had to call in no issues whatsoever. I've been using it for about a year now. I use the interactive features to turn it on and off occasionally and I like that very much.

Frontpoint is good but I haven't taken advantage of all the services that are offered. I just use the alarm system and like that I'm able to do it from my phone as it's convenient. It would be nice to get on the whole smart home technology and the one challenge that I found is that all these Z waves are proprietary and I can't even go to a Home Depot or a Lowe's to find equipment like the thermostat or the locks in order to set it up. They seem to be set up with our own kind of smart home companies. That's why I've been putting it off as I haven't really taken the time to look into it. The security system works great.

I have a contract with Frontpoint and for me it’s not so great. Their sales representative lied to me. I’ve called within our trial period and the person I spoke to tried to convince me to continue with it. And they’ll extend my free trial to keep on using it. So I did accept the free trial. When I called back, they said it wasn’t a free trial. I am angry because of this experience with them.

Frontpoint is a great security company. I have been using them for about a year and a half now. I've used ADT and Protect America before and Frontpoint does very much better. Setting up the system was straightforward and everything is working excellent. The device is working as promised and the mobile app has never failed it. I had one issue and Frontpoint handled it very well - shipping things on time, going all over the issues quickly, and getting it fixed. All in all, customer service has been great. However, I would like if they can reduce the price because it's a little on the expensive side. I know the service is good and that's probably why but I do not know how long they can maintain it.

I've used Frontpoint as our home security service provided for a little over a year now. Customer service was great and responsive. The only negative experience I've had was when there were a couple of times that I tried to call in and was on hold for over 20 minutes. But I called again and they picked up very quickly. Other than that, everything has been amazing.

I changed from ADT because of a billing dispute that I had with them. Initially, I also had some issues with Frontpoint's billing. They kept rejecting my billings because they're using the wrong account number and not the one which I gave them. I don't know where they got the number from, but that's about 6 to 7 calls related to that. Since then, I haven't had any problems. In installing Frontpoint, I had some issues with the little sticky things, of which I didn't have any extra. I also thought they would give us a couple of window sensors. With ADT, I could get all these sensors at one time. But with them, I've got to do some extra purchasing so I haven't been able to do that. However, I appreciate the mobile app that I've used to turn my system on and off. Overall, I recommend them.

The person I bought the house from had a Frontpoint system so I went with them. I've had them as my home security provider for a year now. It was easy to install their device and I was impressed. Their people were nice and made the installation easier. Moreover, their mobile app makes it a lot easier to use than having to control it through the control pad. I feel more secure with it. Overall, Frontpoint is easy to set up and use.

I wanted to renew my service and receive a outdoor camera. I just had mine for kicked in and wanted to get a camera right away. I told the customer service rep the situation and the camera was on its way. I hired an electrician to come the day the camera came in. When he got here to install the camera SAS a outdoor camera. So upset. I hate our business has to end this way...

I've used Frontpoint for over one year. Setting up the system was very easy and painless. When I called them, they gave me their instructions on how to set it up and test it. A couple of months after that, the battery on the controller head was going bad because it keeps saying a low battery. I called their customer support and they sent me a battery replacement. When I got it, I called them and they told me how to replace it by the phone. They were very helpful. Whenever I call, it is a person answering my phone not an answering machine.
I've used the mobile app quite a lot whenever I activate or deactivate my alarm. I also enabled the text message and email features. Whenever someone opens up the door or it has been left open for more than five minutes, I will get alerts in it. That's very great and helpful tools. Since installing that security device, I feel much better knowing that whenever my family and I go out on vacation or out of town, we don't have to worry about what's going on with the house because we know that we have the system and alarm protecting our house. My experience has been great and I even recommended it to my neighbor and they installed Frontpoint security as well. The system worked as expected and the customer service is exceptional.

My experience with Frontpoint has generally not been fine. Their salesperson was nice at the beginning, talking to me through all the stuff and made a lot of cool promises but overall, I'm not happy with the way their system works. My girlfriend that time got security issues and I bought the system early to hopefully prevent that but they didn't deliver on schedule. It took forever to set it up.
I haven't used the system in a while because the cameras don't work like I wish. They frequently freeze out and you need to unplug it then plug it back in, the whole nine yards, and that's just one. I was told that when I sign up, I could get a lot of cameras in the market that would be able to work with this system but when I got the system, I was told that it's not going to happen. For the extra cameras, I spent $400-$500, which is way more than I would have had to with ADT. I spent a lot of money on this system but the system is not impressive. The website and the app are extraordinarily clunky and not up to date.
And I've had a few unpleasant conversations with their customer service representatives. The last person I talked to was helpful, patient and spent a long day, even past her shift trying to get the camera working but at the end, it was something fairly simple -- sync issue with my wireless adapter. She didn't know that the new modems have that feature where you only need to push the sync button. It was frustrating for me and I lost an entire Sunday.
I had thought about canceling it out but it's going to be too expensive. I'm in a long-term contract that I can't get out of anytime soon. The only thing I can do is throw more money at it to improve things. The system still works for the most part. It gives me reports and when I do set up the alarm, it does go off when it's supposed to. They're really good about their monthly newsletter telling me what things I can do around my house. That's awesome. But the advertised goods are not quite where they should be or where they say it is. And they're not cheap.

Frontpoint is fine except I’ve been having difficulty trying to get the infrared, the night light, on the camera to work. I was on the phone for an hour with the technician who was trying but it’s still not working, so I just don’t use that. It was easy to set up except I returned a camera that was not working for a less expensive one that works during the day. The reps have been receptive whenever I’ve called and tried to help, the times that I called. I can see things through the mobile app when it’s working during the day. Sometimes it goes in and out but I’m able to see remotely what’s going on in front of the house.

Frontpoint is a very good service for its price. I have been using it for a year. I'm always at home and since we installed the security system, I feel more safe and relaxed. One of the main reasons I chose Frontpoint is because of its mobile app. I use it to turn the alarms in the house on and off which is very convenient. It allows me to access my security system from anywhere. It's the best feature especially since it's at an affordable price compared to its competitors.

I like Frontpoint because it’s always monitored by the cell phone and the features are good. However, the sensors don’t work sometimes. When we walk in, it triggers the alarm. I don't know if it's a bad sensor and needs replacement. But it's not a big issue since we can click within 30 seconds so it creates a notification saying alarm was cancelled. I have a travelling job and it’s hard for me to follow-up with customer service on the issues.
Vinod, if your system is armed and then you open one of your sensors/trigger it, your alarm should sound and that means the system is functioning properly. To make sure your system is working the way you want it to, we're going to have someone from our Support Team reach out to you and make sure all your questions get answered.

I had no problems installing Frontpoint, though it was a little confusing. I use the mobile app but a couple of times it didn't work, so I called them and we worked it out. Their customer service is A+. Since having Frontpoint, I sleep like a baby now. I'm not nervous when I'm there. Everything is great and the system is dependable. I'd recommend it.

We've been using Frontpoint for a year now and it is better than the ADT that I had in another property. However, setting up Frontpoint was not easy. It was very frustrating and I would have liked something easier to install. It may be easy for some people but for me and my husband, it was not. They sent somebody to help out from another company, but he was really limited and was not very helpful. He was not able to do a lot of things and he didn't want to do it. It would be good to at least have somebody walk you through the installation even if you had the manual. Nonetheless, it's a good system and I would recommend it. We had two incidents with the smoke detectors and they were good and really fast in responding.
We understand that setting the system up can difficult for some people which is why our Support Team is always happy to stay on the phone with you if you need to mount any sensors or go over the arming process again. I got Frontpoint installed for the entrances in my home and also got the smoke detector. I've been using them for about a year now and they're great. I always access the system from the mobile app because it's easier that way. I was worried before when I travel because I have a dog that stays at home during the day. Now, I don't have to worry about a fire or anything like that. It's a good experience overall.

I had an awesome experience in setting up my Frontpoint security device. I have been using it for a year and I am very impressed with how Frontpoint does things. They are very well organized. Their representatives are very professional on the phone when I set the system up and when they've had to call me for a couple of false alarms. They were very on top of acute events. They followed up and made sure everything was okay when the alarm system went off. What I really appreciated is that one time that the alarm went off, they called in literally six minutes later to make sure I was safe. That was really nice.

I have been using Frontpoint for a little over a year. The few times that I've spoken with their representatives, they've been very prompt, friendly, and helpful. Frontpoint is a very easy to install system that provides me with the security that I need when I'm not at home. I was on the phone at work with ADT and was finalizing the terms of my contract with them. A colleague of mine sent me a message that said, "Don't use ADT, I have Frontpoint. It's much better." I got Frontpoint and have been using it for over a year now. I've never had a security system of my own before that and Frontpoint has been good. It's nice to feel being helped. Everyone at Frontpoint has been very informative which is always nice when you buy a security system for the first time. Setting the system up was an easy process, too. I also use their mobile app frequently and it's helpful. It's one thing that ADT said I had to pay extra for to use their app, which I thought was crazy in this day and age.

Frontpoint offered me a discount to switch from ADT. The initial sales kind of left a bad taste in my mouth as the guy didn't account for enough sensors. It wasn't necessarily my fault yet I had to pay for the sensors out of the package deal that they offered me initially. But other than that, everything has been good. Installing the security device was extremely easy, and I'm pleased with what Frontpoint had to offer. I feel more secure because of the different things I had installed versus what I already had. There's been a few incidences already and Frontpoint was extremely fast to react so I’m very pleased with the system. I also use the mobile app fairly often as it is important to me. I like the ease of adding new features and the control I have over those.

My husband Robert looked Frontpoint up and compared it to ADT and the other providers, and figured Frontpoint was the one to go with. My kids’ rooms, the doors and the windows are top priority on security. We’re not home most of the time. Robert works out of town so it’s just me and the kids at home. We want everything pretty secure. It was very easy to install. I had to do it myself. The person that I had talked to was very helpful and he walked me through it step by step and explained to me how to use the system. I loved it. Every time I’ve had to deal with anybody they’ve always been very friendly, helpful, and pleasant and answered all of my questions.
We use the mobile app every time we leave. I love that I can check when doors and windows have been opened if I’m not home, to make sure that nobody came in or out, or to disarm the system. Robert has a lot of family that comes in from out of town as well. If they need a place to stay and they have a key, we can just disarm it to let them in and arm it when we know that they’ve left. So it’s an awesome system. I feel a lot more at ease. I feel safe when we go to bed at night. I used to get up and check my daughter numerous times. Now I feel pretty secure that she’s in there, asleep and sound, and nobody’s in the house wandering around or trying to come in without me knowing about it.
Frontpoint's price is awesome and it’s something really good to have and I’ve recommended it to quite a few different friends that were looking into security systems. There are a couple of other features that we’d like to look into once Frontpoint have the features where it can tell you if the garage doors open. Overall it’s been an amazing experience.

I was looking around online for security systems, and I did find some good reviews about it so I decided to have Frontpoint. I had it since June last year so it's almost close to a year and a half. I had it mainly in my living room and the master’s bedroom. I had a great experience when installing it myself. It's very easy, I installed the device as directed and it didn't take me long and their team to get it activated. I think it was just about ten minutes. It's very easy to use and that is one thing I liked about it.
The main reason why I got Frontpoint was because it's completely operable through the phone itself. I think they are slowly keep upgrading their app as well because I hardly use that that panel which I could place anywhere in the house. I also liked the upgrade where they keep adding to Alarm.com as well. I just have the basic Frontpoint security features with the motion sensors and I didn't opt for any other features yet. But I'm very satisfied because I did find out that it's working. I accidentally ended up opening the door a couple of times without deactivating the security so I triggered the alarm. I panicked but it did give me a sense of relief that it does work. Frontpoint is truly dependable and I recommend it to anyone. I recommended it to a friend of mine who had just moved in a new house but I don't think he got it yet after that one month trial because I have not received any credit.

It’s scary opening a business for the first time and making sure it's secure because I handle other people’s merchandise as well. I’m a consignment shop so I got to be careful of everybody else’s items, too. Other people have recommended Frontpoint and since I had it, my sense of security has changed a lot. I’ve been using it for a year now and its price is very good for the monthly service. Also, everything’s always been fine with their team. I once needed a new battery and they got it shipped out right away and they helped me install it. And they’ve been really good at times that we set the alarm off. I always check my smartphone to make sure that I did get the system armed when I’m away and it's very good that I get to do that because I would rather it be wireless-based than have to worry about the electricity.

Frontpoint has been our home security provider for a little over a year now, and our priorities are all of our entry doors and lower level windows. The sales rep was fantastic throughout the whole process and installation was very simple. I called them to get the system activated and they didn't have to hold very long, so it's a very quick activation process. They did a test to make sure it's communicating properly and then they were good to go. I use the mobile app daily and find it to be convenient. One of the main reasons we got the security system is we have a new baby, and having Frontpoint set up definitely keeps me and my wife much more at ease. This company is overall very easy and definitely customer-focused.

We've had no issue in the installation of the Frontpoint system, it was very easy to do. My wife regularly uses the phone app and it's a definite positive. Every time I had to call their team, their reps have been very helpful. It's easy to use and reassuring that when we're out of town, something is there looking over our house.

Installing Frontpoint for my parents' house was fast and easy, customer service was good and fine, and it was great being able to access and control the system anytime, anywhere using the cell phone interactive feature. But it hasn't worked. We notified customer service a couple of times and they sent us new sensors but it still just doesn’t really work. And I have the same Frontpoint at my house as well, and it doesn’t work either. I would not recommend Frontpoint however, I haven’t really checked into getting it fixed more than a couple of times so we need to figure it out. But it's been frustrating.

Fronpoint is the first home security provider I've used and I have been with them for about a year. It was easy setting up the system but wasn't a hundred percent seamless. However, the guy on the phone was able to resolve the issue. There were couple of false alarms but everything was clear and easy to understand. In general, I'm happy with the service and the system is easy to use. I feel more safe and it's nice to know it's there.

We live in a rural area and were robbed before I got Frontpoint. Installing the system was simple and I don't have to worry about what I was going to do once I got it installed because their team was great in helping me with any questions I had. They checked on me to make sure everything is working good. I've been using it for about a year and I'm happy. I really like the mobile app. I feel safe when I'm gone and while I'm here. It's a nice experience.

I went online and started comparing home security providers, and eventually settled for Frontpoint. Installation was a little difficult for me. I'm a little disabled but I had a helper. I called Frontpoint when my first unit didn't work right and went back and forth for about two or three months. They sent me a new one and it worked. I've been using it for a over year now. I set the system before I go to bed and turn it off in the morning. I had a couple of my door monitors fall off. I needed a couple of the firm, thick things used to attach them to the door but they sent me the wrong one, so the monitor is just hanging there now.

I researched online and did a comparison among the different companies before I decided to call Frontpoint and see what we could do. It was a priority for me to secure the three floors - basement, first floor and second floor. Installation of the Frontpoint system was physically easy. I had some issues but their customer service reps were able to take care of them.
We had one major problem which almost caused me to cancel within the first 30 days. I have an old analog cell phone and in the beginning, five techs could not figure out how to send me a text message for arming/disarming and alerts. Then a different tech, because of his knowledge of what he did at home, was able to figure out a way. Because of that, I stayed with the company. There was another problem with the secondary control panel - it started beeping and never stopped. Nobody could figure out how to stop it and they were going to send me a new unit. Somehow though I figured out how to get it to stop and I told Frontpoint. They said they would put it in the database for the other techs. I haven't had a problem since. So on the whole, any problem that came up ultimately got resolved.
I really appreciated the negotiation, final price and the accommodations that were made by the initial sales rep - they made a big difference. It was nice that they sent in extra pads for the sensors when I needed them. I'm waiting to see when the batteries die, whether I need to buy new batteries or Frontpoint would provide them. I also needed their mobile app since I wanted to get alerted before the Police Department because I know it takes a certain amount of time. When I'm absolutely, 100% certain that it shouldn't be an activation, then I can call the police and Frontpoint will call in a minute and a half later. I thought it was a headstart.
It feels better having Frontpoint. Whether it actually is good or not remains to be seen, but of course security is a frame of mind. Altogether, if a customer doesn't mind being persistent and working through the issues, if it's the final result that they're concerned with, I'd recommend Frontpoint. There's always issues with every system and each house as each system is a little bit unique, but they worked through it.

Frontpoint is of good value and it works well and since having it in place, my sense of security has gone up. The system was very easy to set up - it was finished fast and everything worked. Moreover, all my interactions with their team have all been positive and the mobile app has also been very helpful.

A friend told me that Frontpoint's prices were competitive and as far as the customer support over the phone, theirs was pretty good. I called Frontpoint and I didn't have to wait long to speak to a representative, so that was a good indication of service levels. It's been a year that Frontpoint has been our security provider and we haven't had any problems.
My wife set up the system so I think the installation was pretty easy. I had some questions around the smoke detection. I was trying to understand what happens if we lost power since we usually do in Maine because of the weather. They told us that the system was setup to call our cell phones so that was good. It's been a pleasant experience - great customer service.
I feel more secure now that we have Frontpoint because I know that if anything happens, I will have a rep give us a call, or have one of us give Frontpoint a call and feel that they'll be able to process the information and help us out. There's not a lot of crime in Maine, but it's a good feeling to have the reassurance that if anything were to happen, we'll be supported.

I've been using Frontpoint for a year but I was with ADT before. The installation wasn't too hard and the mobile app is fine. One negative thing though is that one of their sensors fell off the wall and I haven't gotten the chance to fix it up. But I'd still recommend them.

We’ve been using Frontpoint as our security service provider a little over a year now. Setting the system up was a little difficult because I didn’t read the instructions very well. It's nice to know that it's there. We had a problem last weekend. Our daughter didn’t know we had the alarm system on, came in the house and set it off, but we knew it was her because she was calling us at the same time the Frontpoint team was calling us, but they acted rapidly. Their mobile app of Frontpoint is good and it helps. Frontpoint is responsive.

I have used Frontpoint as my home security provider for two years. Being able to access and control the system any time, anywhere is a terrific feature. The app seems pretty good and intuitive. Its easy to work with. If I can figure it out, anybody can figure it out. I've also tried their other interactive features which is excellent. I use them all the time to alarm my system remotely or disarm it remotely.
My top priority at home when it comes to security are the doors and the windows on the ground floor. We have four doorways that enter the home at different parts. The setting up was excellent and easy. Since installing the Frontpoint security device, I feel more secure. If you happen to leave a door unlocked, as long as you arm the system, someone comes in or something goes on then you feel like you have a mechanism to support the intrusion, if there is an intrusion. Or if there's none, they call you and figure it out. Interactions with Frontpoint have all been positive in terms of sales experience and service & support. A couple of times the alarm goes off even if you don't mean for it to go off. They call and check-in. You share the password and they seem to do everything kind of right. In that regard, I feel like we're well situated.

We’ve had Frontpoint for a little more than a year. My husband installed it and he found it simple. We use their mobile app to turn it on when we go out the house and realize that we've got to turn on the alarm but everybody is used to making sure the alarm is always on when we leave the house. When I first got the system, I had an issue with the pricing. One person told me one thing and somebody else told me something else. I had to find that person who originally gave me a quote on my pricing. I had told the person I was using it for my house on a particular date but said I wasn't sure because we're buying our house. What they did is they didn't change the date. When I spoke with somebody else, this guy is billing me before I moved into the house. So we had to work that out. But after that experience we were fine and it's been great so far.

I have had Frontpoint as my home security provider for more than a year since I bought a house. I've never really had a security system before but we moved in a town where we didn't really know much about so got it just to ensure that when we're gone, I can check my phone and know that everything's locked up and that we didn't leave the door unlocked or open. It was easy to install the security device and took us 30 minutes. It was very basic as it's all peel and stick, then I called to have it activated and the gentleman on the phone was very nice. All the questions I asked, they spent time answering them.
We use the mobile feature about 80% of the time from my phone and I really like it. I can control the system anytime and anywhere. With other systems you have to pay to have it included but Frontpoint having it all included was really nice. It was a very easy experience. They weren't pushy like ADT. I didn't realize Frontpoint's programs and all their system are very straightforward as well as how much the sensor cost. They have good service, people and system. They are all I really wanted.

Frontpoint is helpful and a lot easier than the security provider I used before. Their staff is good, fun and easy to work with. I use the online feature, which has been working out very well. We feel protected having Frontpoint.

Frontpoint's buzzers are too loud when they go on and off. Also, I'm a little confused about what happens when I leave my home and have a break-in. I don't know if someone's going to contact me, and I don't understand the whole process.

I live in a very secluded area and worry about wherever there's an easy way to access my house, so I got Frontpoint and have been using it for over a year now. Installing the device was very easy and simple. The mobile app and computer access is very convenient. One of the things I like best about it is being able to turn it on when I forget that I've locked the house. Frontpoint also has warranties and provide replacements for their equipment. Customer service truly knows their stuff and has the answers that I need. I've called them twice and I've gotten very professional and quick service. I feel more comfortable and secure with the security system.

Frontpoint is our first security service provider and it has been good. I feel a lot more secure with it. I had the whole system installed and running within 30 minutes – very simple and easy. One of our favorite features is the interactive app which is very convenient. We use the simple arm and disarm all the time.

I was looking for a house surveillance. Safety is not too much of an issue here, but I basically need it for kids vandalizing. I was Googling and saw that Frontpoint had the best score so I went with them, and it's been two years now. The staff was friendly, answered all my questions and explained the system very well. Frontpoint is quick and efficient, and I recommend it.

I'm satisfied with Frontpoint. I've had a previous security provider but Frontpoint's better because it's more convenient. Installing it was very straightforward, and I feel a little better seeing that I can access the system myself and make changes at any time. Any interactions with their team have been great, and they're efficient.
