AT&T's customer service sucks so I went looking for Frontpoint. Now, the only problem I'm having with Frontpoint is that I get false texts or emails when I set the alarm. But so far, I've been able to arm or disarm the system regardless of where I was. I've been using the system for about two years now.

We've used Frontpoint for eight months. Installing their system was fairly simple. I had to call one time for some information, but it was relatively simple once I called them. Their representatives have all been good, productive, and positive. My phone application works really good. I can arm and disarm the system and it shows me the status of everything. I had an automated call once. My wife had left the home and the garage door that goes from inside the garage to inside the house was ajar slightly, so it triggered the alarm and pointed that out to me that the door was open. It works pretty good. The only thing I’ve had trouble with was my password, I never could remember anything. But now that I have my password recorded where I could get it, I don’t have any issues with it at all.
Overall, I am happy with Frontpoint. However I was surprised at how much each of the little things that go in the windows cost and they don't get any cheaper no matter how many one buys. Normally the more one buys, the lesser they cost. But not with them. I was not thrilled with that aspect of it.

Frontpoint is very good and have prompt response. I forgot the passcode and set off the alarm. They quickly called us to ask what’s going on.

So far everything is good. I don't like to do things myself but installing the devices were actually pretty easy. Also, the turning on and off seems to be pretty good. Frontpoint calls us pretty quickly when the alarm goes off.

We used a D-I-Y setup before using Frontpoint. It was straightforward and easy installing our security device and putting the cameras in the same spots where we had them before. We have managers who run the shop and deal with the alarm system a lot more often than we do. I used to be there everyday but over the past year or so, it's been mainly them using it and we haven't had any issues with the system.

Installing Frontpoint was easy and straightforward. I stuck everything on and turned on the main unit. I have the remote on my kitchen, and use the camera to keep an eye on the house when I'm away. It's good and doesn't lag. Their team was great. I had a few false alarms in the kitchen and they called right away and were very nice about it. So far I like all the experiences I've had with them. The staff is very nice and courteous, and the system seems to work perfectly fine even when the electricity goes out. It's great knowing that I'm not going to come home to a house that's going to burn down or flood. Actually, the most important is the flood sensor. That's the biggest peace of mind, because last year there was flooding two streets away from me. I'm happy with Frontpoint.

Installing the device from Frontpoint was very easy and I feel safe with it. If I left the house and I wanted to check if I armed my house, all I need to do is go to the app and I can see their actual status. Their team is also very helpful. I want to upgrade to a new keypad, if that's been offered.

I did a global search trying to find a security system that didn't require us to have a landline and that I could self-install, then I found Frontpoint. The installation was really easy because they shipped all the parts and then I called in and they walked me through it. It was done under 20 minutes. I also got Frontpoint because I have a really bad anxiety about being home alone at night, and it made me feel better. I've always had really great interactions with their team. They're really helpful especially because I'm not a tech-savvy, and I also have an issue with my motion detector setting off because of my pet. They had to walk me through replacing that, too. It's great that they have the app because sometimes I forget to set it as I leave the house and then I set it from my car. As long as nobody else can get into my phone and mess around with my security system, I'm good.

Frontpoint is much better than the previous system I had. When installing their system, I got on the phone with the support base and that was the first time I talked to them. It was very easy to install. We added all the sensors, programmed them and set them with the main website interface. And we were good to go. It didn't even take an hour. The only other time I’ve had to call was to reset the alarm off. As we were getting in the house we had the garage door sensor set, and didn’t realize that it would trigger the 30-second timer. It went off by the time we got in, but they were very nice. They asked me for my password, I did that, and killed the alarm.
The actual console itself can be anywhere in the house which is excellent because it doesn’t have to be right by the door. We have ours all the way in the kitchen. You don’t see it from anywhere and that's a plus. And the range is excellent. It's all the way across the house into the garage and it still reaches the sensors over there. I love the interactive features. It's wonderful that I can get it from my phone and the website is very good too. I arm and disarm my system from my phone every morning. We have a lot of computer equipment and things that I have to secure for work so it's wonderful to know Frontpoint is there and we're able to watch it from anywhere.
I didn’t notice that they had the touch screen in front of the house which I would like, but I think they’re still charging for it. I would love it if that came with the service. They would update the equipment as it went because our set is like two years old now. But that’d be the only thing I would like to upgrade. The phone app and the web interface are excellent.

I like that I can arm and disarm the system from the app in my phone when I'm in bed at night, after I leave the house and I forget, or if my in-laws come over when we're out of town to take care of the animals. It's very convenient. Although one day, I armed the alarm because I was leaving other people in my house, and I opened the door when I came home and I disarmed it quickly, but nobody called us. We have accidentally done that and nobody has ever called. Whereas I remember with our old service, people would call just to know if everything was okay. Although, I haven't had a problem, honestly, sometimes I wonder if it will really work.
Angie, we want you to know that our system does have a 30 second entry delay so you can have time to enter the home and disarm the system before the alarm sounds. If you do not disarm your system in those 30 seconds, then your alarm will sound and you will receive a call. I've had a good experience with Frontpoint. We installed the security device ourselves and it's been fairly straightforward. I have three other homes and they all have the system. We can arm or disarm our device from our smartphone and I certainly feel better about having Frontpoint. I'm happy with it.

My initial discussions with the guys from Frontpoint were positive and pleasant. They have an excellent customer service and within 10-15 min of conversation, I was able to get a lot of my questions answered, which led me to using them. Their system was easy to install and I use their app daily as well. It definitely makes life a lot easier and more convenient. I like the alerts that I can get just in case I forget to turn on the system at a specific time, and that really helps. In addition, I feel more secure with the system, though there are additional things that I like to do in the future as far as webcam use. It's a great product and I like the flexibility and ease of use. I would recommend to buy Frontpoint.

I was doing online research comparing different providers, customer and user feedback and found that Frontpoint was the best choice at that time. We've had it a little under a year now. It was easy installing the system and their staff have been professional too. Their interactive features were good especially getting the notifications. So far, my wife feels more secure with the system, however, she's questioning my decision about paying so much. I talked to Frontpoint about their pricing a month ago. Other providers like my kid's have the same features for much less money.

I've been using Frontpoint for a year and a half and it's been great. I was overwhelmed with the installation. I had no idea what was going on because they just shipped the system to me, and I called them as I'm not tech savvy and I couldn’t figure it out. They were nice and just walked me through it. Also, when they call when the alarm goes off, they’re concerned. I have a Blackberry and haven't used their interactive features as they don’t have it available for my phone, so it would be helpful if they could put something for Blackberry.

I looked up security systems on the web and Frontpoint was one of the top rated ones. I've been with them for a year and a half. Their highly technical advice worked well. It was easy to install as the instructions were detailed enough for me. I control our security system mainly on the phone. This makes it much easier to use. I can look at the place while I'm gone and that makes it nice.

I like where I live and I had always felt secure. And then I had a break-in in the summer of 2014 and I did not want to stay in my home after that. I was looking for a security system, and my nephew had Frontpoint and was happy with it so I decided to go with them. I like the remote which I use often, and I also have the app on my phone to check if somebody is in my house. The service is good whenever I’ve had any contact with them. A week ago, Saturday, I was at a wedding and I had my fiancé's dog at the house and I forgot. When I left, I put the alarm on and I forgot the dog would be moving around, and Frontpoint called and were very good. The system provides a sense of security and I feel a lot more secure.

Before having Frontpoint, I had a different service but it was more high-tech. With Frontpoint, it was easy and I did everything including the installation. I also use the mobile app sometimes. The only issue that I had with the alarm system was that it's not compatible with all door frames. I had them sent out extra padding because the door frame didn't match up right and the alarm would go off sporadically because it wasn't reading the sensor right. I never had an issue with it aside from that.

I have had Frontpoint as a security provider on the rental property I have in another state for two years. Its is easy to work with. I installed the security device however I'm not an end user of Frontpoint, but it seems to be okay since I haven't had any complaints from my renters.

Frontpoint has been providing home security service to us for about 18 months. It was pretty straightforward installing the device so I didn’t have any problems. I had trouble when one of the items wouldn't stick, so I called them to check and we got that resolved. We feel safe with their security system here. I'm comfortable with it.

Installing the device was very simple. The connection, adding the sensors, and calling to set it up and get it activated were very easy. The people at Frontpoint are really responsive when my alarm goes off. They call me and it’s always been pleasant. I use the app all the time and it's a definite benefit especially when the alarm goes off, because I can see what sensors have been triggered and determine if it’s actually a false alarm or not. It’s a huge help.

I went with Frontpoint because they had a cheaper rate. I had one of their people to come out and install the device because I wasn't able to do it on my own. Their team is friendly and able to answer my questions. My only issue is that the motion detector at the backdoor constantly falls since day 1 and I'm paying for it. The adhesive is no good and doesn't stick well. So I haven't had that service from the start. But I’m somewhat satisfied overall.

I had Brink's as my previous security provider but Frontpoint is better. Installing it was very easy and it came in a kit. I feel safer in a way, because I'm not home by myself and a stranger can come and look at my house and entryways. The communications with their team were very nice as well. I'd recommend them.

My nephew had put the original Frontpoint security device up but, I got one on my front door that keeps popping off and I’ve never been able to use it. I’m not pleased with the device and its price and I am trying to replace it. I am very dissatisfied.

I had a couple of security providers before I had Frontpoint - TCA and ADT. I have been with Frontpoint for two years and it was also the first time I've dealt with a security company that had the mobile app, which I like and use all the time. There was nothing to the installation of the system. The guys would call me whenever the alarm goes off. Since I've had them, it's been nice and quiet.

I’m not an installation genius, but I found Frontpoint real easy to set up. We’ve phoned them a couple of times and we had knowledgeable people that could help us in what ever we needed all the times. We’ve armed and disarmed the system from our mobile app a number of times and it’s one of the best things we have especially when we’re down here in California for the winter time. The first time we went down to California, we purchased a separate temperature sensor for the house that would send us readings that we could get on the computer. We’ve never had any problems with the sensors. I’d recommend Frontpoint.

I didn't have any problem at all installing the security device. Frontpoint is kind of your road to security with a couple of checkpoints in between. So, if that's what a person wants and it's affordable, then Frontpoint is great for that. I'm satisfied with it.

We moved to Memphis area which has high crimes, so we bought Frontpoint security device to feel more secure in our house. We set up the system downstairs. We have our bedrooms upstairs and at night, we could walk around upstairs with no problem. It was very good. Additionally, I'd arm and disarm the system through the remote access. When we're not at home, I'm on my phone watching the camera, so all was great.
Sometimes my video cam wouldn't work. Even though it was close to the modem, it still would occasionally go out. But Frontpoint worked through those issues. The other issue I had was with the sensor on the garage door. I had to replace it three times. The first two worked for a while and they got stuck. Finally, the third time worked okay from that point forward. I recommended them and my brother-in-law got one because of our discussion with him.

Installing our Frontpoint was simple. The team was very patient and I've always been more than pleased with them. I receive notifications all the time and use the app constantly to turn on lights, tweak the temperature in the house, and to arm and disarm the device for people that may come in and out if they don't feel comfortable doing it sometimes. We have two homes that we use it at and have peace of mind since. My husband is out of town a lot so it's nice to know that when he's gone, I have that extra layer of comfort. It's also a great babysitter as I can tell when the kids come in and out. It's the biggest thing especially with the kids. When I am not supposed to be there or when I am not supposed to have friends there, I know that something is going on if the doors open in 10 or 20 times. Overall, it is excellent.

We do not use Frontpoint that much - we use it on vacation but it's fine. Installing their device was very straightforward but when we first got the system, there was a problem with one of the sensors. We called them and they sent us another replacement. We like it.

I read the instructions for the Fronpoint device and did what it said, so installing it was smooth as glass. It is also cheaper than my previous security provider, and I get the same coverage. The few interactions that I have had with their team have always been pleasant and professional. Their phone app is handy, particularly since here in San Jose, the Police Department will not respond to burglar alarms. They will only respond if someone in the house will call and tell them that someone is breaking in. So having the ability to get that notification and go to my security cameras allows me to have a good control over what's going on. And knowing that I'll get a notification on my phone quickly when something happens is nice as well. Everything was exactly as advertised, very easy installation and the level of coverage has been more than adequate. I'm very happy with where I am.

I use Frontpoint for my business and have been using it for about 18 months. Installation was super easy and their people were helpful during the procedure. I called them up and they walked me through it. It only took me 10 minutes to do it. Their mobile app is also fantastic. Since using them, I feel secure. I don't really go to bed at night wondering if somebody is going to break in. The pricing is great and their customer service is really solid.

Being able to manage and control my security system using my smart phone is an essential feature and I'm very pleased with it. My wife feels more secure since we had it. I had a problem with the sensors and the Frontpoint team walked me through it and helped me correct the problem. I also have a problem with their new control panel, which I think is overpriced. Frontpoint should review their pricing for their best interest.

My husband and I love Frontpoint. We feel secure because of it. One time, I set the system's motion detector up before I went to the hospital to get an MRI. But somehow, our dog has set the alarm off. My husband didn't know because the Frontpoint people were calling my phone so they sent the police to come and look and they saw nothing was up, which was good. In addition, the little app on the phone is perfect because I can control the alarm from my phone - I don't even have to be at home. Like the other day, my husband left in the morning to walk the dog and didn't realize that he hadn't disarmed the alarm before he left. I was upstairs and it started buzzing so I disarmed it from my phone instead of having to run all the way downstairs to manually turn it off.

I saw on the news that there were these surges of incidents happening in my neighborhood. For the safety of my family, I got Frontpoint. Now, I have peace of mind once I leave my property. I have the corner property, so it's very visible and whoever tries to do something, they know that they have to go over or get past that hurdle. So it's one more step for them to not try to do anything. I wish I could add all sensors in every room and window and that would add to my peace of mind. That can be pricey but maybe they can offer a better deal for first-time clients or include the sensors with the first package.
Moreover, the device was easy to install and the price was reasonable. The team contacted me when the alarm went off because of the motion inside because I had a dog in the house. But everything was fine and I had a great interaction with them. I use the interactive feature every day and accessing and controlling our system anywhere is a good feature. I love that.

I set up Frontpoint originally for my rental property and my tenants mainly use it. There have been a few issues that happened when I had a tenant who messed the thing up, but all the help from the company was fantastic and excellent in that category. However, when I had to go to the property when the alarms had gone off because somebody changed the code and the tenants were not there, I had a hard time getting somebody to help on the phone. This irritated me because this is a security device and a security company, therefore, there should be somebody there to help when I'm having a problem. But other than that, everything's been fine overall. Additionally, being able to use the system with the Frontpoint app sits highly compared to the competition, and I'd personally use Frontpoint just because of that.

Installing Frontpoint was too breezy - just peel and stick. I use the mobile app all the time and I love it. I use it to turn the system on and off when I'm not home and when the doors are open. One thing that I thought was strange is at night time when I set the alarms inside the house, it beeps a minute later. It scared the crap out of me the first couple of times I did it. I feel safer knowing that there's someone else watching over.

We've had Frontpoint for a little over a year and they have been good. We've accidentally set the alarm off a couple of times. Once, I had it set up and my daughter came into the house and forgot that it's set. It went off and she was screaming. They're very quick to respond that they called up before she could ever put in the code. I also had a question once and they walked me through it really well. Additionally, I like its feature that I'm able to control the system anywhere, anytime. We were traveling a couple of times and I left a note on the door telling my daughter that if she came through the garage, she would have to let me know ahead of time. I disarmed it remotely and rearmed it after she left. The system works and makes me feel more secure.

I had my alarm go off two or three times and I was notified immediately. It beeps a lot when we don’t turn it off and if we don’t get to it in time, Frontpoint calls. I do feel a lot more secure. We were burglarized before and it was the reason we got the system. Frontpoint sends us things that can make our system better. I just didn't want to sign a five-year lease with them and there are systems out there that are less expensive.

When I got my own apartment, my mom and I called Frontpoint and set it up. It was really easy, although I was a little nervous because it's a do-it-yourself security system. I was a little bit cautious about how it was going to go. But the directions were really straightforward and I was on the phone with the technician while we were setting it up, and he was telling us what buttons to press and testing the system. He was really great and it was a smooth experience. Fortunately, I've never had to use it. I would set the code when I would leave and then come home and unlock the system, then go from there. I've never had any issues with it. The system gives me peace of mind. It's a good quality product for the price, too.

Installing our security device was relatively easy to do and it has worked as it was supposed to work. On a couple of occasions, we've inadvertently tripped the alarm and they would call to find out if it was just us or if somebody is breaking in. They handled it fairly well and we haven't had a situation where it went to the police department and we got dinged for a false alarm

Frontpoint is my first home security system and I've had it for two years. It was easy installing it and I use their app a lot too. I travel often for business so the system helps, and with the app, it's convenient having access to control the system from anywhere at any time. However, Frontpoint is more expensive than other alarm companies and because of that, I have thought about looking at other services.

Since installing the Frontpoint device, I have fewer worries. Installing it was so easy that it was almost like it wouldn't work. I use the interactive features from the phone all the time and it's great that I can see what's going on at the house. I have safety and fewer worries with Frontpoint.

The Frontpoint tech support walked me right through with everything during the installation of the device so it was easy. They were very knowledgeable and stayed online until everything was done. I also use their mobile alarm app all the time and I like it because sometimes I walk away and I forget to set my alarm up. I’m very satisfied with Frontpoint. It was everything they said it would be and they have great support. I’ve set it off accidentally a couple of times and they were on the phone in a heartbeat. All the notifications and everything worked fine.

I did some research on home security systems, found Frontpoint on Angie's List where they had good reviews and I like that I can install it myself so I decide to go with them. Installing it was super simple and their team has been amazing. There's been a couple of times when we've set off the smoke alarms, we have network so we can see them, and they called right away. One time my wife accidentally set the alarm and my dog triggered the motion detector, the whole process was really smooth. Anytime I've had questions about the system or needing new devices, dealing with them has been great.
The mobile app is awesome and super convenient. I like the proximity alert that if you get a certain distance away from the house, you'll get a message reminding you to set the alarm. That's nice if we're going on trips and we forgot to turn the alarm on. I definitely feel more secure since installing the system. I don't worry at all at night about someone coming in because I'm sure I'd be alerted. I couldn't be happier. Frontpoint's a great company. I recommended them to a lot of people.

I've been using Frontpoint for two years and its installation was real easy. I had a couple of issues - two batteries that were dead in the sensors, and how to protect a certain area - and the Frontpoint team was able to help me with both of those. I love having the ability to access and control my system at anytime from anywhere. The Alarm.com app is great.

I switched to Frontpoint and have been using them for more than three years. I used two different companies before but I like Frontpoint because of the technology they are using such as the wireless sensor and also cellphone access to the system via the internet, which I've been using especially. It was easy installing the system and their guys have been friendly. Technical support or customer service work very well. I like their system.

It would be nice if Frontpoint call sometime, check how things are going and make sure the system is working correctly. I don't hear much from them. I've had the alarm go off and no one called to ask if everything was okay. I had ADT before and this was an issue. I felt like I wasn't truly being monitored. Also, my husband had an issue when he was putting the devices on. One of them wasn't working and they weren't recognizing. We didn't know it until we replaced our windows and we had to get all new pieces, which were expensive. I just have to hope that the system works when it's ever needed. It concerns me that if there was a need for it, would they respond because it's so quiet from them all the time. I have recommended Frontpoint to a friend and she ended up not going with them because they weren't as affordable as another company.

Our house was burglarized, so we got a home security device from Frontpoint for my wife's peace of mind. I've been with Frontpoint for about a year and a half. I haven't been using the alarm portion of the system, just the video recording and it's been good. I had a half false alarm because I wiped down the control panel and one of the keys got stuck. I didn't know that so the alarm went off and I couldn't get it to stop. I was able to call it in for Frontpoint to cancel and say it was a false alarm but it took almost an hour to get someone on the phone to troubleshoot it and I wasn't happy about that.

I travel and wanted some type of security which I didn't have to pay a bunch of money for. I've had Frontpoint for about a year and a half now, and it has its strong and weak points. For the value of it, it could be a little better. It was, however, an easy installation to get through during which I called their team. Although that was minor, they were able to assist me.

Was served by a great salesperson who was very good in convincing me to sign up immediately. Since then it has been a nightmare. The day following sign up, I tried calling multiple times to adjust my order. I emailed the salesperson who quickly bumped me to someone else, who then proceeded to ignore me. I called, left voice messages and emailed to no avail. The following day, only when I called to cancel my order did they send me to their “retention group” who adjusted my order.
I got my box and went on to setup system. Well, it turns out my doors have crown moldings on them which means the sensors don’t align. The little booklet they send, says "go onto website for help". There is no help on the website that explains what to do. I then proceed to call. Wait times were ridiculous and no one gets back to you. Fed up, I called sales because that is the only place anyone picks up the phone. Now they tell me they will need to send additional adhesives so I can mount sensors. Why couldn’t the salesperson ask me to look and check if I would need these as opposed to now making me wait another week for adhesives? Overall awful customer service. This might get cancelled very soon.

Frontpoint is my first system and I've used them for a year now. Installation was fairly easy. However, after I set it up, their customer service rep had expressed to me that the motion sensors would not activate if I had a small pet. I have a small pet and they went off multiple times, so I ended up having to eliminate the motion sensors. Because of that, I called them up and negotiated to get something in return for not being able to use the motion sensors. They initially were not going to do it even though I couldn't use the equipment because it keeps setting off false alarms. After a long discussion with the agent and his supervisor, they said that they would do it this time and gave me window sensors.
So far, the best thing that works since having this system is the sign on my front window that says I have a Frontpoint security system. To sum it up, the set up was fairly simple but the information that was given to me stating specifically that the motion sensors would work with a small pet was not accurate and I had to basically negotiate to get something for an item that wasn't working properly.
Sean, please accept our sincerest apologies for the miscommunication that occurred in regards to those Motion Sensors. We also want to apologize for that customer service experience you mentioned, as it is far from our goal to make sure you are always taken care of. At first I was looking at ADT because my parents used to have ADT, everybody else used to have ADT, but because Frontpoint had better reviews my husband decided to go with them. It was easy installing the device because it's wireless -- you just hook it up and then call and activate. And I feel safer with Frontpoint. Sometimes, when the alarm did go off, it went to their centralized system. So they called right away.

The house I moved into had a security device previously. So, I just took it out the old one and put Frontpoint in its place. Installing the device was easy for me and everything's been pretty good so far. However, they tried to mislead me at one point when I was trying to buy sensors. One gentleman I talked to said that I could go online and buy sensors and there's a 99% chance they would work. After I bought them, I called to get help setting them up and the other guy told me they wouldn't work. But they actually did end up working. Other than that, I use their app daily and I love it. To sum it up, since the installation, our sense of security definitely went up and it gave us peace of mind.

I had Kelltech in another house and it didn't go so well. They're more of a business company and do commercial companies and do residential on the side. Their systems are around $6,000 upfront, which is different compared to Frontpoint. Installing my Frontpoint device was easy. It was good, except I had a garage door opener that would go off and say that my garage door was open even if it wasn't. So I just took it off the garage door.
I left a backdoor unlocked while at an event, which a cat knocked open. I wasn't able to answer Frontpoint's calls so they sent the police over at my home to search and they did a quick walk through my home. I really like my Frontpoint. I'd recommend it and have recommended it to my neighbor who really liked it. Considering the cost and what they did, it is one of the best security systems out there.

We like Frontpoint a lot. Installing the security device was easy. We called them and they explained how to install it and the naming of the different doors. When we had a problem with the home unit, I called their customer service and they walked me through that and we got it fixed in less than five minutes. They've always been helpful. We use the mobile app quite a bit and we like that a lot too, especially when we're either in town or out of town, we can turn it on or off for the house cleaner, and for my parents checking on pets. My wife likes the security we get from the system especially at night. Overall, we're pleased with the device and we've referred three people to them.

I was required to obtain a security system by my homeowners insurance so I looked for a system that would meet their requirements and Frontpoint's is minimal and customizable. I can put it everywhere I wanted and I like the do-it-yourself nature of their model and not having people in my home or having wires run everywhere. Installation was pretty straightforward. The instructions were easy to understand and I finished putting the system all up in there in an hour. All that I talked to the Frontpoint team about was when there was a required call to set things up. I would recommend Frontpoint to a friend.

Our security now is a lot better because of Frontpoint. It was a very plain and easy process to install their security device. When I had questions, their team was excellent. On top of that, they've been very responsive and they'd call the sheriff's department right away. Frontpoint did a great job.

Frontpoint was certainly simpler compared to another provider I've used. I was able to do the installation myself and that was handy. I had problems with one of the monitors in one of the doors and they replaced it quickly. We have had some frustrations in dealing with the account management as we wanted to suspend the service for a while and it was awkward making that happen. But in terms of the basic functionality, Frontpoint has been fine.

I got Frontpoint on the recommendation of my brother who uses it for their second home in Delaware, and I'm fairly happy with it. We have two systems at two houses. We use the interactive features for our house in Maryland and it's definitely handy. Our son sets things up when we're in the other house sometimes so he can give me a call and I will disarm things.
The system in Michigan replaced a landline telephone-based system we have that would inform us when the temperature dropped below a certain level which is critical in case our furnace goes out and we need to ask somebody to come take care of it. About a month ago, we had no power for 48 hours and during that time the battery backup died in the system. So if the temperature dropped a little 41, that's all the recording I get from the temperature sensor. We would have been out of luck. It would have been a disaster. I wish there are some other options or at least a better battery backup that will last more than 24 hours. It would be great.
We also had a couple of alarm situations. One at thanksgiving when our turkey smoked to the extent that it set a fire and set the heat detector. We had to disassemble the system in order for it to stop pushing calls back and forth between us and Frontpoint. There was another incident where the coal on our broiler caught fire. We tried putting it out with the fire extinguisher. Not only did it not put out the fire but it sprayed the powder everywhere and that set off but it took time as well. We were in the middle of chaos and we're getting calls from Frontpoint that they should check out what's going on. I had to disassemble the smoke detector and take the batteries out. When they called, they offered the option of not recording or responding for a certain span of time to give me time to get things back in order. The Frontpoint people have been really responsive in the call and asked questions about the situation.

We live in a trailer park and somebody had murdered a little old lady. I've come to found out, it was stupid kids that were on drugs and lived right across the street from her. As soon as that happened, I got Frontpoint. My neighbor had it for quite a while as well. He told me about it and I hopped on right away as soon as he explained to me that he's satisfied with his. Moreover, I've had no trouble installing it. Since having it, I'm not afraid of anybody coming in. It's pretty loud, it would scare somebody. I set the sensors to go off and forgot, and I walked through and it went off. I feel so safe with it and it works great. I live here by myself and when my husband passed away two years ago, it's that security blanket for me. I'm very satisfied and I love my Frontpoint.

I have mixed feelings about the Frontpoint system, but then I have probably a different perspective than a lot of people. It's okay but there are some problems with it from an operation standpoint like if there's a bunch of false alarms. What's challenging is that the console that they have in the home doesn't have any way to communicate with the person calling so if you're trying to turn off the alarm and even if you enter in the right code after it's gone off, they still try to call and if you don't have your phone, you can't tell them not to come. I've had the police show up here even when I had the right alarm, but because it's either the fire alarm going off or some other alarm and I can't contact them to tell them not to come, it's been frustrating. I like the mobile experience but again, I would put something like a panic button on there.

I'm very satisfied with Frontpoint. I have 5 cameras around my house. Installation was easy and I have very good experience when things happen, Frontpoint calls me and I then check my camera and then before they get the police they ask me do I need it or not. So far there’s been no break in and everything is great. We just have to practice for it and teach our new family member how to operate the security system. Apparently this new family member thinks that after we set up the alarm and we left, he doesn’t have to deactivate and then reactivate it when leaving the door. Also, there’s a 30-second gap that we can get out the door and then lock the door, but he thinks that he has another 30 seconds to leave the house.

I started with Frontpoint about two years ago. I had a previous security provider which was hot-wired whereas Frontpoint is wireless, so there's less drilling, less holes, less wires. But in terms of response whenever the alarm went off inadvertently, I think the other company definitely had the edge on Frontpoint. Installation was easy and their team is very friendly team and builds great customer relationship.
But I don't understand their monitoring system. I imagine if one of the sensors isn't active or was removed, it doesn't seem to register in their system. I remember removing my backdoor and replacing it with a new one. The sensors were on the old door just outside my kitchen door but I think it's close enough for the system to still be able to pick it up. Nevertheless, they're improving.

I've had Frontpoint as my home security provider for 3 years. I used ADT prior to it but I like Frontpoint a lot more. It's more customizable for less expense, portable so if I move, I can take it with me pretty easily, wireless and installs pretty quick and easy which is nice. The only difficult thing is the indoor sensors. They're fuzzy I've got to drill them and have to have the right drill to do it. It took me 20 to 30 minutes a piece but motion detectors glass didn't take very long. It's nice that they have a mobile monitoring and I can set up different profiles, so my cleaning lady and nanny have profiles so, I can log whenever they come in to this location which is nice. And I can arm and disarm mobility which is nice as well.
Being able to use those user-codes for cleaning services or your nanny definitely help you keep control of your home and safety. Thank you for your feedback!

We've had Frontpoint since we built the house about a year and a half ago, and have always felt secure having it. I found them when I was researching online for the best wireless company. I installed the system myself in about 15 minutes. It was super easy. Customer service has always been friendly and helpful. They've always answered my calls within 30 seconds so I'm not on hold for a long time. I use the app for everything. It's how I set and unset the alarm, so I'm able to let people in when I'm not here without having to give them a code.

I've used Frontpoint for two years and they're good. The security device is easy to install and their system makes us feel a lot more secure. On the other hand, there have been newer alarm system companies that came out recently that are the same thing and cheaper. I also didn't like the three-year mandatory sign-up. We could've had a larger package with the window alarm or sensors, because we got like a million windows in our house and it cost a lot extra if we get them separately. That would have made me more comfortable as I still fear about some days that intruders will come in the kids' rooms.
Serena, thank you for this feedback and the good news is that depending on your home's setup you may not need a door and window sensor for every single window. Usually, if placed correctly, a motion sensor can replace 4-5 door and window sensors at a time. I have been having problems with my old security service. Since I started using Frontpoint two years ago, I don't have any problems anymore and I feel more comfortable if I have to go away.

Frontpoint was our first home security provider. I started using it since August of 2014. Installing the system was very simple to do. I also use the app and the system's remote access was one of the selling points for what I want in systems where I can control it with my phone. We didn't need a landline for it. But I’ve had issues with the people at Frontpoint. We were getting ready to go on vacation. My system broke and I let them know. They set me up for a replacement piece that worked for a couple of days. So I called them back to let them know that my unit worked and they said they were going to overnight me a new system. It's frustrating because we're on a two-week vacation but they did send me the new system. I got back and installed it. It worked and they told me that if I didn't mail the old one back, they were going to charge me.
I sent them their unit back prior to the expiration of the 30 days that they gave me, but they still charged me for the system. I called them back and said, “Hey, why is this money not back in my account?” It took them almost three weeks for them to put the $200 back in my account. They shouldn’t have taken it to begin with. The records verified that they received the equipment before it was due back but they still charged me anyway. I got the money back ultimately but it was still frustrating to have to wait three weeks to get it back. That kinda left a sour experience. It’s more against the customer service side of things but overall, I like the product and the system itself.

I've been using Frontpoint for almost 30 years. Installing their security device was easy for the instructions were properly given. Their team communicated clearly well about the process. Being able to access and control the system using my smartphone was good although there were a couple of times that it is not giving up the correct information but most of the time, it is. I've had an excellent experience with Frontpoint. They have all the information regarding security of the house and access online. It's a good tool and working as expected.

I have my Frontpoint security system for a over a year and a half. Setting up was so easy, and everybody seemed really nice. Any issue or question I had, the rep I talked to was extremely helpful. I use the app all the time. I like the convenience but what I really like the most about it are the alerts and notification that I can set up and the rules I can create. It's nice especially since I have more than one person using the app at home. And being able to have certain notifications to certain people or only go if I want a reminder to arm the house in the event that we have left the house, are my favorite parts about it.

Frontpoint's sales process was no pressure so that was very nice compared to the other vendors. The installation was also fairly straightforward that I just had to call once during the process. It took me no more than between 30 to 60 minutes. Each time I had to call for help, when the garage door didn't seem to function well, I didn't have to wait that long on the phone. The guys I spoke to listened to the issue and they did help. I rarely use the console at home and I use the mobile app to arm and disarm. If I'm at work, I periodically check my system so the app is fairly helpful at least for the basic features. It does help us when we're not at home. I'd know if somebody made an entry or not. It's helpful in knowing that our home is safe.
We believe in a "no pressure" environment when it comes to picking the right system for you. Glad to see you liked that!

We had ADT before switching to Frontpoint. A lot of their devices were malfunctioning in our home, which is the reason why we changed providers. Installing the Frontpoint security system was almost painless and the team members have been really knowledgeable. We use the app and it's great. We feel more secure with the system in place and being able to monitor it when we're out and about. Other than the fact that we had a minor issue with another smoke alarm a couple months back, it's been flawless.

The security system was simple to set up, easier than expected and seems very modern and logical. With it installed at our house, my sense of security is somewhat better. The reason I got it is the house is in California and I live in New York. There’s a certain number of people who can go into the house and it’s the caretaker and my sons going there sometimes. When somebody goes into the house, I get notified on my phone and computer. So it’s good to know when someone’s in there and then I just call up and see who it is who is using the house. I've had no problems with Frontpoint. There was one broken sensor and they replaced it.

We wanted to make some changes from what we're getting from our previous provider since we're having some issues with our security system. But it's good now because we got Frontpoint and we've had them for two years. The device was very easy to install and their team was better because they're the ones who make the calls. My husband also had these questions and they answered them. And I very much like Frontpoint's interactive features. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we're very satisfied.

What I like about Frontpoint is I can order it online and self-install it. I don't have to schedule an appointment with someone, so that was a benefit for me. It's also awesome being able to use our iPhones to arm and disarm it at times. I'm home alone a lot so the device creates a lot of peace of mind for me. However, some of the adhesives aren't a great fit for really cold or hot areas like garages. It would be ideal to have another method of attaching them that won't be interrupted by hot weather but otherwise they're very easy to install. Also, I would like the sensor to be improved. Apart from these, the experience has been great.

I accidentally set off the alarm of my Frotpoint device twice. One time I had a fob in my pocket on a keychain with a bunch of keys and I was working out in the yard bending and squatting over that triggered the alarm. Four policemen came later. In another experience, I had masons installing a carpet around the house and when they had to use their heater heating up their glue-type units sections, it set the alarm which was loud that you can't stay in the house. I got a call from someone after that.
With regards to the installation of the device, it was easy and a little difficult, depending on how the woodwork is. Frontpoint is also not wired-in hard which is what I like and I can move it myself. This is what I'm looking for because when I sell the house, I want to move the security device with me. But I need from Frontpoint more of the little stick-on things for the windows.
David, glad to hear you like the fact your system is move-able! Whenever you find a moment feel free to call in and ask for a bunch of that extra adhesive. We always send it out free of cost for those customer who need it.

I feel more secure with Frontpoint. It's been great and I love being able to access the system from my smartphone. Installing the security device was easy. A couple of the sensor devices didn't match the door colors so I had to paint them but it worked out and they still work fine.

Frontpoint's device was easy to setup. Their customer service team is great. They walked me through what I was telling them. The mobile alarm app is a great feature. We bought the security device because we feel more secure. However, we haven't been using it as much as we probably should. We got a kid so we walk in the house more often than not, so we don't want to trigger the alarm.

Frontpoint has lived up to the expectations, except that I'm a little disappointed with the back-up batteries seeing they're already low. It's only a year and a half.
Marco, that main panel backup battery charges every time it's plugged into your wall. It is supposed to last 5 years, as well as all the other batteries in your sensors. If for whatever reason you're getting a "low battery" alert from your system please give our Support Team a call when you have a moment and they would be happy to replace any batteries for you!

I’ve had Frontpoint for two years. Compared to the local home security provider I used before, Frontpoint's service has been very nice. It was very easy installing the security system and dealing with the team was fine. They were courteous and friendly. It’s perfect that I can arm and disarm the system using my smartphone. Overall, I like it a lot and it's been effective. It’s nice putting it out there to have it on.

Everything is good with Frontpoint, except when the panic button didn't work. We had an incident where a crackhead was trying to steal stuff and threatened one of our employees. We pressed the button and nothing happened. No one came. Also one time when there was a false alarm and my employee forgot to punch in the code, they called me but I wasn't available so they called my wife and they were being rude to her on the phone. Nevertheless, the security device gives us peace of mind. I use their interactive features and I think it's great. Within 30 seconds of the alarm going off I also get the notice on my phone before I get the call from a representative. I don't know how fast that actually happen but I feel it's good.

We've been using Frontpoint for over a year. Dealing with their people has all been very positive except for the annoying automated phone systems instead of a person especially during a situation. Other than that, everybody's been helpful and has gotten everything I've asked for. We had a false alarm the other day when the door in the house to the garage opened. Frontpoint called me immediately, the police responded, I got home in about half an hour and all went well.

There was a rash of break-ins in our area. Our neighbor's son in Seattle had Frontpoint and they also got one after the break-in. I looked online and Frontpoint had really high ratings. So if it was working with them, then we're going with Frontpoint for our house's security system as well. Installing the device was real easy. They only had to instruct us through the phone and they were very helpful. When we forgot to turn it off or when we set it off, they would call immediately. It shows that they're right on top of things. Since we had the device a year and a half ago, I feel a lot safer when we leave or when we turn it on at night. There's no need to hide stuff whenever we leave town - we only have to turn the system on.

It was pretty simple to install the security device from Frontpoint. The little black screws and nails that hold the sign to the sign post broke and instantly disappeared, but other than that, it was pretty easy. Their team has been friendly and our questions have been answered. Often, if I call for customer support or something of that sort, I'm on hold for a little while, but the staff that I've talked to has been very pleasant. I like arming and disarming the system from a wireless device, though I haven't explored the app enough to see if it's got more options. In general, I'm glad to have it. It's comforting to know it's there when I want to have it. I'm very satisfied with Frontpoint.

I've been very happy with Frontpoint. Somebody where I was staying told me that they had it and that I should look into it, and I contacted Frontpoint. Somebody came out and went over the house with me, and we decided on what we needed and then they sent the sensors. Customer service was very good and reactive. I had some questions so I called in and the reps were very pleasant. They told me what the situation was and asked if there's anything else they can do. I'm very pleased so far. The device was fairly easy to install. All I did was place the sensors. I've been satisfied and feel a bit more secure.

ADT and Frontpoint have the same service and price but ADT kept raising my rates, so now I've been with Frontpoint for two years and everything's been good. Frontpoint also have more equipment. Additionally, installing their device was very easy - just plug it in and it's pretty much good to go. They had an issue with one sensor, then they had a tech support walked me through some stuff and figured it out within a couple of minutes. Now, I don't have to worry about my wife and little girl at home by themselves.

For three years, I've had Frontpoint as my home security provider and have recommended it to others. I've used ADT before but Frontpoint is more convenient. It's very handy and portable. I also like the fact that it's easy to take with me when I moved location.

It's been a little over a year since our office had Frontpoint as our security provider, and our experience has been good. Installing their device was very straightforward and easy. We've had a couple of sensors that went wrong that had to be replaced, and we had a few times when the alarm has gone off that we've talked to their team. It's been trouble-free. Moreover, we use the arming and disarming app every day, and we love having access to it. It's great, but since it is the main point of interaction on most days, it would be nice if we saw an upgrade to it. The app itself is still a little bit clunky, but they did add the fingerprint recognition.

Frontpoint has been satisfactory. They provided all of the features we're looking for. The system has been extremely responsive. The device was easy to set up and it worked. We have another home security system but they're not really needed. We use them in case that one's failed. But Frontpoint has been great. My interactions with the team had been brief but they've always been easy to get in touch with and we're contacted if necessary.

Frontpoint is a professional company. I've been using them as my home security provider for about a year and a half. They're very prompt in getting back to me if there's a problem. I've had a water sensor down in my basement that has gone up a couple of times unexpectedly and they got a hold of me. I like that I can access and control the system remotely from my computer. It works great. If I'm out of town, I can check on things. I feel more secure.

Installing the Frontpoint system was quick. I had a few issues but then when I called them, they walked me through correcting those and then setting it up. The actual setup probably took me thirty minutes installing and ten minutes on the phone. Their mobile app is good. I’m able to see any changes if doors have been opened, and being able to arm/disarm the system if someone needs to go to my house is convenient. Everything's good. Overall experience was pleasant.

After my husband passed away, it was scary over there in our other house so my daughter got a Frontpoint security device for me, then my son-in-law installed it. We've had it for a year and I've felt safer ever since. However, I haven't used it for the last few months because I have moved and don't really need it here.

The whole reason I switched to Frontpoint is the ability to access and control the system anywhere. I've been using the system for over a year now and it's much better than the other provider I had before. Excellent. Installation was super easy, and the people are very nice every time I call. Setting up my Frontpoint security device was seamless although I had issues setting up some of the cameras. The IP addresses were dynamic or weren't renewing their leases so I had to change those and put them to fix static IP address. After that, it worked fine. I use the interactive features all the time and I love accessing and controlling my system anywhere. I also wanted to add an extra equipment but it was very pricey.

Our son opened a window and we have a glass breakage, and Frontpoint didn't show. We didn't get an email or anything from it. Also, we have a two year old and when he screams, it would set the glass break alarm off which is a huge issue. I have to wait until he is asleep before I turn it on, which I sometimes forget to do. Other than these, the system has been good.
Those glass break sensors will only go off if a specific frequency is reached. This frequency only can come from paneled glass breaking (not opening), pets whining, or sometimes in rare cases children crying. If this is not a sensor you're happy with please give our Support Team a call and they would be happy to swap it out for you!

I had Monitronics prior to Frontpoint, and the reason why I switched from Monitronics is because I wanted to upgrade to their camera system. But I called and set up multiple appointments, and they never showed or called me back. I needed a really quick solution because I wanted to get rid of them, so I went with Frontpoint. The two are different. I've had interactions with Frontpoint that are definitely much better than Monitronics. But it's a different product and I can say that Monitronics was easier in the sense of installation. Even though the installation process with Frontpoint was somewhat easy, it's not as easy as I thought it was going to be.
Also I'm probably going to switch because I've had a lot of people reach out to me and I want the camera piece. I want someone that's a little bit more full-service. I also want the DVD. I have a system at my business and I want something more. With Frontpoint, you have to manually do it all. I don't know if I'm going to go with them for the upgrade that I do next. I want more than what I have, and it's not meeting my needs as much.

We had Frontpoint installed quickly and easily. My mother-in-law recently accidentally set off the alarm, and the support team called right away and got a hold of me and my wife. The interaction was good. We have also used the app on our smartphones, and it's very convenient. There's definitely been an improvement since we had the system. It makes us feel more secure especially when we're going on trips. We've been very satisfied.

The Frontpoint team is excellent. I spoke to them again for the setup because we had a problem with the cameras, and they were very helpful. It took a while, but now everything is working very well. They're very patient and good at the end of the line. I don't have to wait long and get to speak to somebody, which is important to me. I usually check the house everyday like what’s going on when it’s snowing. I hope there was a way they would stay with me. We’re in Florida and it’s a different system here. We could control the Frontpoint from here and see what’s going on at the house. I arm and disarm it from the computer or my phone, and I'm very happy with it. It's very good. The cameras are kind of sensitive and going off all the time but it’s not bad enough.

A month after I lost my husband a year and a half ago, somebody broke in our house so my son subscribed me to Frontpoint. The sensors had sticky things on them and they keep coming off the door. It set the alarm at night. I get up and it scares me. I thought that somebody’s breaking in because of that. I was gonna cancel them and they tell me that I had seventeen months left and I have to pay that up. I only get about $300 a month from Social Security so that’s not gonna happen. So, I had to go back with them because I don’t have the money to pay them.

We've been using Frontpoint for probably a year and a half now and I'd put them ahead over the previous security provider we've had. On Sunday, we had an alarm go off. It was a windy day, some things were moving and shaking and probably some wind was able to come through the cracks. One of Frontpoint's garage door alarm sensors--the magnet portion--fell down which caused the alarm to go off. I showed up and the police were called, all due to a faulty piece of glue on the back of the magnet. That's the only negative experience we've had with the system but other than that, I've enjoyed working with Frontpoint.
Their service is good and they're very easy to work with. Our management team all have the Frontpoint mobile app on their cell phones so that we can monitor the things going on. For example, another member of the management team remotely watched the video feed during last Sunday's alarm situation, just to make sure nobody was waiting for me in the building. The app is very convenient and we really like it. When we bought the new system, it would have been a deal-breaker if they didn't have that feature.

Our Frontpoint device has gone off accidentally a couple of times and nobody has called us. I called them to make sure they had our up-to-date phone number, which they did. We had Monitronics before because it was already set-up in the house when we moved in, and they called when the device went off, while Frontpoint didn't. My husband had no problem installing Frontpoint, but what's the use of me paying for it if no one calls?

My experience with Frontpoint was awesome. The set up was easy. The people were insanely responsive in that they answer the phone on the first ring and you get a person, and they follow up. We attempted to get a security system for our house through ADT and they were horrible. We could never get a person to come out to do the install, and they charged us before they came. I used to have ADT but Frontpoint is a bit better. The initial set up was easy with Frontpoint though ADT's price is a bit more for the advantage and their technology is a bit better as found online a year ago. However, I don't know if that's still the case. Since installing our Frontpoint security device I definitely feel more comfortable especially when my husband is travelling for work. The alarm did go off once about a month ago as I have left the house by accident to get the mail. When I came back in I got a call immediately from someone from Frontpoint. Therefore, it picked the product quickly. I would like to get more information on the interactive piece of it. I would like to know more about how to upgrade and they haven't really reached out. I have heard that there's been a lot of changes and I can take the initiative to make the call but it's one of those things that's not in my to-do list.

Frontpoint sent me a package and we were supposed to do it ourselves. They weren't as helpful with the directions so I had a third party guy come out and install it. But then, I wanted the rest of the monitors. The original quote was going to be a monitor for every door and window, but they only sent about half. So half of the house is protected but the other half is not and they wanted to bill us a ridiculous amount on top of it. I've been with them for about a year and a half and since installing the device, my sense of security is better than before but, I'm barely satisfied with my experience.

I decided on Frontpoint based upon the ratings and it’s a little bit cheaper compared to the rest and easy to install. It was my husband who did the installation and it did not take long to install, just follow the instructions. Same with the activation. We just called the 800 number. There's some point in time that the one we installed didn't work so they had to replace it and the replacement was faster. They shipped it a day and we received it the following day.
The Frontpoint team is very good. They go into details and will not hang you up until everything is fine. Their geoservices, when turned on, sends a message whenever I'm away from the house and forgot to arm it. We feel secure having the system especially if I'm going out for a short period of time to have my grocery and then my daughter is left at home. I had a time when I left my sliding door open and one of my kid's playmate unintentionally opened the sliding door. We were out when the alarm was triggered, so somebody called and informed us about what happened. It makes me feel more secure. I would recommend Frontpoint. The only thing I was disappointed about is with their reward system when doing a referral. It's a little low.

For about two years, we've used Frontpoint as the security provider for our three auto shops. It was big savings installing the device myself and Frontpoint's staff was very helpful. Since having the system, I feel secure that it really works. It is a reliable system and I'll know if anything happens.

I've been using Frontpoint for about a year and a half and I prefer it over the several other security providers I've had before. Their people installed it for me. Once, I wanted to route my remote phone and go back to do stuff then I go back to the control panel. What's nice is that their people guided me through everything I needed to do. We didn't have to worry about delays and a bill for some contractor coming in to do it. These young folks that they hire for their help desk are darn sharp.
We expanded our system quite a bit, added features to the original system. However we lost a lot of our system when the technicians came. It must have been due to the update but they didn't admit to it. We had to replace a total of eight motion sensors, and that cost us a pretty good chunk of money - about $1,200 for everything. These ones I mounted on myself. However, a year after that, the sensors would no longer communicate or the system no longer communicated with them. But aside from this, their guys are great and I recommend Frontpoint.

We've been using Frontpoint as our home security provider for at least two years. We have a child with autism and need the chimes going off to let us know if somebody's getting out the door that we don't want to. My husband called and told them the things we wanted to do, so they programmed the unit. When it came, we stuck each of the things on the doors and windows that we needed it put on - it only took minutes and we were up and running. The Frontpoint team is nice and professional when we trip it accidentally. Also, we like being able to access and control our system with the app and the extra security of being able to lock it when we're away, and on our way coming home to unlock it. It is definitely good having it.
The only thing is if the alarm goes off, they're slow to respond which makes us nervous because what if there really was an emergency? But at the same time, sometimes it's our fault because they allow so much time to get out the door without it needing to alarm. Our previous provider was a little more responsive but we were limited because they needed a landline to connect, and that was a little problematic. If we lost power, we would lose the line. I would recommend Frontpoint to a friend but I would let them know that sometimes they're a little slow responding.

Frontpoint's self-install security system was super easy. I use their mobile app every day, and it's awesome. We had a security issue before, but since we got the system, there hasn't been one. Everybody there has been really helpful. And one thing about the company is they don't try and upsell you stuff you don't need. They had ample opportunity to try and sell us more things, but we're told we don't need it. It turns out they were right.
We try to be as helpful as possible and we certainly don't want you spending more money than you have to!

Being able to access and control my security system at anytime and anywhere is awesome and I use Frontpoint’s interactive features using my smart phone everyday. I've used Frontpoint as my home security provider for almost two years. I've used another home security provider before when I lived in Las Vegas and I’ve always had a security system growing up so now that I’m an adult and for the past 15 years, I’ve always had a security system so the sense of security has always been there.
Installing the system was really simple because it's just peel and stick. My experiences with the Frontpoint team had been a few really good ones and then a couple not so good. When they decided that my battery was low on my panel, they quickly sent out another one and were very attentive to help me replace it. The bad experience was when I went to install it, I called after hours and I was heading out of town on vacation, a time that you actually want your security system to be connected and be in full operating order, and the lady was like, “I’m sorry. I only do technical service but I can’t help you install that.” And she hung up on me. I know everybody has a bad day but I ended up doing it myself and trying to figure it out and I said if anything was wrong, that Frontpoint would end up having to take care of it because it’s their negligence to help me install it.

We moved to Australia for a year and wanted peace of mind while we were gone so we had Frontpoint monitoring for us. Installing the security device was great. The guy we worked with, Sheldon, was awesome. He helped us, and it was super simple. I had a little bit of a problem with billing. I called Sheldon and immediately he resolved the issue and followed up shortly after just to make sure we were happy.
We have monitoring on our cell phones so we could tell if a door was open or set our alarms through the phone and that was really cool. My son was two at that time and because he tends to be a bit of an escape artist, just to be able to have that chime on the doors when it opens was nice, and so was getting to know if anybody was trying to break in our house before they even break in. Overall, the experience has been really pleasant. We would use Frontpoint again.

We were doing construction at our place so we needed to suspend service for six months. Frontpoint initially said, 'No. Sorry, you got to keep paying monitoring.' They gave a discounted rate instead. I was going to re-initiate service so I thought they should've just suspended the service.
Charles, we currently do not have the ability to suspend service due to the way your system is setup and functions. We are glad to hear our Support Team came up with a solution that prevented you from having to completely cancel or pay full price for 6 months. I heard about Frontpoint online and we've used it for about two years. I use my phone to arm and disarm the system all the time, and I love it. I use it at my work location, and it's great to be able to see who opened and locked the doors and to make sure that everything is all turned off and set.

I initially looked at ADT and didn't like the customer service that they gave me. So I then started doing more research and Frontpoint was getting 5 stars across the board for customer service, and now we've been using them since August 2014 and the 5-star rating has been consistent with what I've had as well. However, installation of the security device was probably the one thing that I didn't like. It took a while for me to activate it because, at that point, the Frontpoint team had really narrow hours that I could call somebody to set it up. Every time I finally had time to do it, it was outside their available hours. It wasn't very good or smooth for me. Although, when I had the opportunity to speak with anyone from the Frontpoint team, our interaction has all been positive. They were able to answer my questions.
In addition, I use the app everyday. I love it and it's why I recommend Frontpoint to other people because if I'm on vacation, I can still control the system. Also, I live in a cold place and so my shoes are often snowy or dirty, and I like that I can turn it off before I get in the door. That way, I don't have to track things through the house to turn it off. That's something that I appreciate because I try to keep my floors clean and it helps me do that. Since I had Frontpoint in my home, it's been good. There was a break-in in my building and I'm the only person in my condo building that has the system. And I felt good that if a burglar came in and they had to decide which place to pick, I would be the last one because I have the Frontpoint sign in my window.

The device was easily installed and it works just fine. We've had it for a year maybe. We use the mobile alarm and the whole family does. Even the kids do and we like it. My daughter got the system for a rental unit and I changed the account over when she moved out. The representatives were able to answer all my questions. It took a couple of tries to switch it over as it was still coming out of my daughter's account for a while but it eventually got taken care of.

Installation of the Frontpoint security device was easy. And their staff have been recently helpful. The system hasn't worked in over a year. It's been deactivated but when it was operational, I was able to use its interactive features and it was very good.

Our godparents use Frontpoint and they liked it so we did get them and have been with them for three years. They have good customer service and it was very easy to install the security device. It also has been very helpful to be able to control our system using the mobile app. At first, we couldn’t turn off the beeping sound when we open the doors, but then we learned how to do it, so it's been fine. It makes us feel more secure since we had them.

I had Brinks before and Frontpoint is a lot easier to manage, a lot more cost-effective for the same amount of service, and a lot quicker on response. I did have an incident where my alarm went off due to a construction that shook my patio door. The police officer was there within 20 minutes. Frontpoint had been really quick and it worked well. I also liked that didn't have to let a stranger into my home to set up a security system that I wasn't super familiar with. They mailed me everything and I was able to set it up easily and do all the testing on my own. I thought the mobile app was nice while I was using the trial but for $150 extra a year, I don't see that big of a benefit with it.
Since having Frontpoint, I feel comfortable during the day and at night when I am home with it being on. I've had Frontpoint reps contact me multiple times and they've been really great. When I had my credit card number stolen, I forgot to update my card with them. Instead of cancelling the service, they called me and they got it all fixed without having any lapse or issues with my service.

When I googled security systems, Frontpoint showed up towards the top and it's been a year and a half now since I have them. It was easy hooking it up. Then one of my sensors went bad and I had to hire somebody to get that bagged out but they wanted to ship it by ground. I told them it's one of my front door sensors and I wanted it right in, so I paid for shipment and they were able to resolve the problem. I also use the mobile app and I think it's cool. Overall, I'm happy with Frontpoint - I ain't been robbed yet.

I like Frontpoint better than my previous home security provider. I installed the device all by myself and it was easy and fast. The team was very good at answering my questions and they helped me with the installation. I have tried using the mobile app and the only thing that I would like to see is a panic button on it. We've had an attempt of intrusion and they ran away because the glass break sensor went off so that's a good thing. I have and would recommend Frontpoint to a friend.

Having Frontpoint is a great experience. I learn things and my husband and I had fun putting up the system. I did the installation myself and it was very simple, and then they just confirm it, which is great. It takes a lot away from it. The people are very friendly also, and if I have a complaint, I talk to a person and not to a machine. They work with me. I've been with several different ones like ADT, and a lot of times they don’t do what they say they're going to do. I don’t talk to a live person. I get a machine that gives a list of things to choose from. A lot of times, all I really needed was to talk to a person and make them understand. We can't do that with a machine. Moreover, with Frontpoint, if they say they're going to call you at a certain time, they will call you at that time. I've never dealt with a company like that. They do what they say they're going to do and it works. It's fantastic. I'm also confident knowing that the security device is there. I have recommended Frontpoint.

I would definitely recommend Frontpoint to a friend. I feel more secure having it especially when I'm away and the family is at home. I really like the mobile app. It's really convenient. Once in a while, the alarm goes off our own mistakes and they call immediately. So far everything is good but I want to see how they would react and help me when an incident happens. But I would definitely recommend Frontpoint.

It's comforting to have Frontpoint's security device. Their team has always been professional and knowledgeable, and the device was relatively easy to install, but the adhesive that came with the equipment was not the best so we had to reinforce it with what I found to be a better product that’s relative to the system.

Since having Frontpoint's security device, my sense of security has reasonably gone up. I like the convenience of being able to access the security system anytime, anywhere. We moved one and I liked that it was easy to move locations with Frontpoint. However, I don't like the vulnerability that it opens up and the quality of the home station with the keypad for it falls apart.
All sensors are able to be opened up including that control panel for various programming reasons, however, if it is ever opened up and something is tampered with or broken, your system will let you and our Support Team know! Let us know if you have any questions in the future.

Before Frontpoint, I've used ADT which had more accurate sensors because right now three of my sensor are starting to lose connection. I haven't been able to get that corrected. The installation was easy but the set up was not as far as designating the window locations so if the alarm goes off, it would say "Sensor 1", "Sensor 2". I wasn't able to do that on the website properly which I wish would be easier to do like the application on the phone. However, I haven't been able to manage it and is limited to how much we can do on it. But in terms of the response, it's fast.

It is extremely easy to install our Frontpoint security device and we've been using it for a year and a half. I've had peace of mind since it and I get to use the app constantly, which is great. Their representatives are knowledgeable and helpful. The service is great, but their rate is extremely high compared to some of their competitors, and if I’d researched that before, I might have gone with somebody else.

I've been using Frontpoint as my warehouse security for a year and a half now. The system was easy to set up and their customer service has been good. Every time I enter my warehouse, I lock and unlock it through the Frontpoint app. One time my alarm fell off on itself while I was in New York. I then got a call from their customer service and they were able to call the police immediately. They found out it was a false alarm, but they had a very quick response.

Frontpoint has good service and their team is friendly, but we've been having issues with them recently. When the alarm goes off, they will usually call us to check if everything was okay, but lately, they haven't been doing that. I also dislike that they’re expensive compared to other services. Nevertheless, it’s been safer since having the security device.

I use Frontpoint's mobile app occasionally and it is very convenient. It helps to have the system and their team has been helpful. However, I don't like that I had to do a three-year contract.

It's been about a year and a half that I've used Frontpoint as my home security service provider. Before I got them, I had ADT. I actually prefer Frontpoint because it is definitely cheaper and I like the wireless service as well. Equipment-wise, Frontpoint is a little expensive. Other than that, we set up the security devices ourselves. It's just that I don't know where to place the motion detectors and how far it went. But the interactive features were very easy to use. In addition, everyone at Frontpoint has been nice and very helpful. I feel much better about my home's security since I installed my Frontpoint security device.
