    I have been using Frontpoint for six months. I feel safer with the system, and it is good that I can use the app from my phone. However, I dislike it that when I arm it, it is beeping so loud. When I'm at home, it makes that noise even if I put it on silence.

    I've had very pleasant and professional interactions with the people at Frontpoint. We've been with them for less than a year. Installing the device was very easy and seamless.     I've been using Frontpoint for two years and the reps are incredibly nice. I love that I can control the system anytime and anywhere.     We were building a new house so I did some research and called Frontpoint. I saw that they had good ratings. I talked to a guy there who told us to call him V and he was great and saw us through the whole process. We never felt pressured and whenever we had a question, he answered it. He was very patient with us as we made a decision, kept following up after started to get the system and got it installed. In fact if we ever added to the system, I would ask for him when I call back. However, we're a little weary that they were going to mail the system to us and we're going to install it ourselves but it worked perfectly. It was very easy to install. Then they got on the phone with us and told us what to do to get it started. We had a very positive experience with that.

    We arm and disarm the system with our smartphone all the time. We travel and have people that are coming in to take care of our pets. That way when I have to give our code out, they call us when they're coming and we can let them in. And when they leave, we shut it back up and we know exactly when they're here. So we like being able to do that, being able to look at it and see what happens with the system. We feel more secure since we had Frontpoint set up. It's excellent, easy to implement and gives us total satisfaction. Also, their response time is always good. We've had them for about a year and we are much more satisfied with them than ADT, our previous provider.

    I heard somebody talking about a service that didn't use phone lines, so I tried looking for that on the internet and found Frontpoint. The device installation was very simple and it only took me 30 minutes to get it all setup. They notify us if there's any problem. We have cats in the house, and normally, they don't get to go out in the garage when we're not home. One day, we left the garage door ajar and we went out to about half an hour after they left. We then got a call from Frontpoint and I told them that it's probably the the cats. So the device works pretty well and I get keep track of stuff, so I'm pretty pleased with it. Moreover, I use their app all the time and it's very convenient. If I forget to set the alarm going out of the house, I could just use the phone to turn it on when I'm on my way. I have recommended Frontpoint to several friends.

    The people from Frontpoint have all been great. I like that the person that I initially worked with last year even though I just talked to her on the phone was the one that followed up when I called back about actually moving. I use their mobile app everyday. Growing up with my parents security system I remember always striking the system to turn it off or turn it on so they didn't set off in the motion sensor and I really like that with Frontpoint I can set it and un-set it from my bed. I really like that component. I feel a lot better since having the security system and my husband travel a lot for work. I live in a really safe area and I feel better that I would know if something happens.

    In my ten or eleven months of using Frontpoint, all experiences I've had with them have been positive. However, I don't activate it most of the time and I'm very disappointed that they don't have one of those medical alert systems that can be used anytime away from home. That's why as soon as my contract with them is up, I intend to cancel Frontpoint and get one that has that feature available, so that if I fall when I’m outside in the street, I can get help.

    Frontpoint is way better than ADT whose services stopped connecting to their server, so our house was unprotected for months. They only used one server, while Frontpoint uses multiple servers so if the connection drops from one tower, I get to pick up from another. Frontpoint's prices are better, too. Their mobile app is also great, and they have a nice feature where I can turn on the alarm without a delay. I would definitely recommend them.

    I started with ADT and they would never return my calls, it was error after error. Then, I started doing some internet researching and found Frontpoint. So, I talked to them and liked their product. Installation my Frontpoint device was very simple and even when I called to make sure I've done it all right, I had really good response from the Frontpoint team. The team were very helpful and working with them has all been really good. As a matter of fact, I had another unit shipped to me. They set it up with no problem at all, and helped me do some other things that I didn’t quite understand as far as the interface goes.     Frontpoint reps were excellent. I didn't have any problems installing the Frontpoint device and I've never worked with a company that called often to ask if I needed help with the setup.     I control my Frontpoint system with my smartphone. I installed it myself and it was very easy to do. Their help guide was very good and self-explanatory. I once had my smoke detector fall down from the ceiling. I called them up and they did a replacement without any extra charge.     I've been using Frontpoint for less than a year. It wasn't easy installing the system initially because they didn't ask me whether any part of my windows and doors were protruding out. Hence, the devices they sent me didn't fit and I had to drill holes in my door to get them to fit. Also, although the reps have always been very courteous, they didn't teach me how to use the system and it was a frustrating experience if you didn't know anything. I do think that the mobile access to the system is great. So I'd still recommend Frontpoint.

    It has been about a year since we started with Frontpoint and I don't even know if it's working. Our door sensors work good but we're not sure about the little white sensors. We installed the device ourselves, sensors for each door and smoke sensors in the den. And then we set up the little white thing on the wall and put the stickers on the windows. But I'm not quite sure I understand exactly what it's supposed to do if someone breaks in. We don't know if everything's hooked up correctly. Other than that, our experience with the system is good. We like it. It'll beep and it'll ding if something goes wrong because sometimes I don't get in the house quick enough.

    Installing my Frontpoint device was a little tricky but once I got going, it was fine. The representatives at Frontpoint were very good and helpful. We live on a really busy street corner so if somebody was breaking in, they could go around behind the house and nobody would probably ever see them so the Frontpoint signs and stickers mean a lot. It serves as a deterrent and I haven't even had my system on.

    I initially was pumped on the system - install was a snap and the features were perfect for my small business. Unique codes for each employee, automatic picture of who was disarming it... Clearly it was well thought out. The second night it failed, just went black. So they FedExed me a new head unit, which has worked for the last week and a half. Tonight, I armed the system and left. Then the alarm sounded instantly. I ran in, disarmed, and called Frontpoint. They told me a window sensor was showing open. It was not, the sensor was reading incorrectly after a week and a half of no issues. My fundamental issue in design here is: How in the hell did it arm itself if it thought the window was open? That's a huge flaw and I was a bit shocked to learn that it works that way.

    They recommended a 'long range' sensor for the window, it is 30 feet away. I've had one of Frontpoint's competitors at my house for 8 years and never had anything like this happen; that system will not arm with any open sensors. So if one went bad... You'll know it without creating a false alarm. Additionally, the system should serve as a way to see if windows that you don't check a lot aren't open.

    Anyway, I'm glad I can/did cancel within my month. I can't be married to gear that is this unreliable for three full years, I wasn't overly pumped on my home system, but now I know it's worth the extra couple bucks a month. Each and every individual at Frontpoint was professional, and seemed to care about my situation. This is not a knock on the people, they were amazing. Just unreliable hardware.

    We moved from one house to another and all I had to do was take what was down and put the system back up. We plugged it in and it went.     I've used Frontpoint for about a year and six now. For the most part, their features work good. However, the Geo thing doesn’t work very well. When I turn it on then leave the area and my wife would still be home, it tells me that the system isn’t armed and she’s still there. I don’t know if there’s a lag in the app, or if it’s the Geo that doesn’t recognize our phone. That aside, the experience has been good.

    I've been using Frontpoint for maybe a year now but I still got connection with the other home security provider for free. At the beginning, my experience with Frontpoint has been very well. However, I have tried to contact the service since the alarm on the front door and another device don't work and it has been a little difficult. I've been trying to replace it and I don't know where to go. There's too many things and its hard to get a hold Frontpoint. I have left a message and they haven't called me back. That experience was not good because I don't have much time to be calling on the phone and leaving messages. I also haven't been able to put my alarm for my phone for months because of this.

    I have used their app until the devices went bad. Now I haven't been able to use it because it doesn't let me on the device through the software. It was very good before, but not anymore. Hence it's really important I talk to technical support and get the device fixed. My wife is frustrated about it and I don't have the time to do it. My wife also doesn't have the time to call people. I'm also surprised that Frontpoint is aware that my system is bad but I haven't received a courtesy call from them, unlike other companies who call me when the battery was low or the device was not working properly.

    The other disappointment is I bought many devices for all my windows as well as a motion sensor. But then when I went to activate them lately, I got informed that I only have service for 10 devices. I didn't know this; otherwise, I won't buy all those devices. I think Frontpoint might be good but I'm not sure because I wouldn't be able to receive a call from them. Every time the alarm goes off, I disarm the system before Frontpoint calls. But now my alarm is not working properly and I wish somebody from Frontpoint could call me because I need simplicity in this life. It's just a matter of service, which is what they sold. I have a two-year contract with them and I'd appreciate it if they could send me another device somehow so that I can get my alarm back in place. I have a fine experience with Frontpoint, it's just that the system is not working properly.

    Frontpoint reps were always very nice and if I had trouble with anything, they help right away. I also have the app and I find it really cool. I don’t know a lot of others that do it like that. Whenever I leave or if I leave my son with the babysitter, I feel more at peace knowing he's safe and that the house is safe. In addition, I really like the cameras.     I've been with Frontpoint for two years. Installation of the system was surprisingly easy. I just read the instructions and did what it says. I didn't have any issues whatsoever. I use their app quite frequently. It's very nice when I'm out and use the app to make sure that the system is armed. I haven't received any alerts though. Maybe that's something that needs to be set up.

    The Frontpoint people I've dealt with have been extremely professional, friendly, and easy to deal with when there were a couple of questions that I had about the system early on. I also had to call sometimes regarding my monthly payments, as their website doesn't offer a way to modify that and my credit card situation has changed. All in all, they've been very helpful, polite, and right on the ball.

    With Frontpoint, there's a feeling that I have that once I'm in for the night and the system's armed, I don't have to worry. Thank God we haven't had any incidents, but having it's a comfort, especially now that I do travel quite a bit. Sometimes I'm gone a month at a time and it's nice to know that the system is secure, and I can monitor it from wherever I might be. Frontpoint just works.

    I had ADT before Frontpoint. Pricing is so important and Frontpoint is much more cost effective. Installing their system was pretty easy, too. We have the mobile app on, and we don't turn it on and off a lot. We have it out there for times when we're not going to be at the house for an extended period of time. Although we don't have any of the mobile locks, it's nice to have the system around.

    I have Frontpoint for a year now and there's an amount of security knowing that I have an alarm system. But right now, if someone wants to come in the back door, it wouldn’t even go off because the sensor won’t stay up there. It fell off this past week and I don't know if it's the rain we've been having in Texas that's affecting the backing on it. So that’s a little bit disheartening. Whenever I go and hit my doors and windows, it says "keychain failure" on it. So I have to hit "okay". I've used their mobile app before too but it took up too much space on my phone so I had to delete it.

    So as far as the actual system, I’m not real happy with that. But as far as being able to talk to people when something comes up and the courteousness of the company and things like that and the availability, Frontpoint is really good.

    In the nine months that I've been using Frontpoint as my security service provider, I've been very pleased with their product. I always set the security system through the app on my phone. When I leave, I get going down the road and set it. Then when I get back from traveling, I disarm the system before I get in the driveway. It's a nice feature and I've even got a couple of lights in the house that I can turn off and on from my phone. I've had a couple of calls from the team at Frontpoint when the alarm went off, and they were very good. The police got here very quickly, but these were only false alarms at two different times.

    I know what set the first alarm off inside my shed, but I wasn't clear on what set off the last one a month or so ago. When they called me, I was in Arizona. I asked them which receiver set off the alarm, but they said it only says general and didn't indicate anything specific, like motion detector five or door number two. I thought that was odd, but as long as it doesn't happen a lot, it's no big deal. They asked me if I wanted them to call the police and I told them to go ahead. I called my brother since he only lives three miles away and it was only 7:30 in the evening, and asked him if he can go over to my house because it might be the fire alarm that went off. So he came over to my house and the cop was already here. So, overall, we are very pleased with the product.

    I have Frontpoint after I had ADT at a different residence. Comparing the two, I'd say ADT sucks. In my last two locations, ADT worked. But when I came to this new residence, they didn’t even want to bother coming by. Even when I tell them I want to buy their system, they don’t even show up and talk to me about an installation. A friend of mine told me about the Frontpoint. I liked everything about it and the customization. Everything works a whole lot better and I’m very satisfied with it. It's the best system I've ever had.

    I called Frontpoint to order it and they gave me the price I wanted. They shipped me the stuff and I set it up. I installed the device by sticking it to a wall and called them. Then they activated it and it’s done. The hardest part was deciding where to put the sensors. So far, I’ve never had a problem. I use the mobile app all the time and I find being able to manage the device remotely is very important. That’s the whole reason I got it. We have a college kid that comes and goes.     I called Frontpoint to let them know I hadn't moved to the property yet, so that they won't send the system. However, it was already sent when I got here. I don't know who in the neighborhood opened it already, so I had to change all the passwords. I also saw from the inside, when opening the package, that nothing was still down and the glue that held things together was already gone. Frontpoint doesn't have so many alarm options as far as it will alert when the door opens. My motion sensors keep falling off the way, and they don't line up together and they can't be so much placed apart when installing the sensors for the door. I had to use other forms of adhesive to make it line up which doesn't look pleasing to the eye at all. Then I did have a situation where one fell because of the way that the frames were made.

    The main thing that I'm not happy with is when the door opens, I try to go into the system and program it to my liking and it doesn't allow for that. It does have the label, but it doesn't tell me which doors are open. My old security system would tell me if it's the front door or bedroom window. As long as you open the window, the alarm would trigger. Even if the alarm wasn't set, it would still tell me which window was open. Frontpoint's response time was not fast enough in comparison to the other company, too. Because of consumer reports comparing different security systems, I thought that Frontpoint would be topnotch compared to the ones below it, but I can't agree with that.

    We requested to have a security system and Frontpoint is the one that our landlord selected. He went through some process to pick it, and it was already in the house by the time we moved in.     The installation of my Frontpoint device went extremely smooth, taking just a handful of minutes because the instructions are quite clear and I can call someone to get assistance. Everything worked perfectly. I think it's awesome that I get to use my smartphone and computer to arm or disarm the system remotely. It gave me confidence that I can check if I've successfully turned on the alarm or not once I left the house. I was a little confused about the difference between Armed Stay and Armed Away on my smartphone because I think that concept isn't really on the box itself. But once I played around with it, I understood their purpose.

    The woman that I spoke to told me I could get a particular discount but I needed to involve my mom into something, and to sign up for a three-year agreement. I thought that was a bait-and-switch.     We've had Frontpoint for about one year. My first main concern is the time the police will respond. That is not whatever Frontpoint can provide, but it's up to the local law enforcement. I once had a signal going off, then Frontpoint called me that they called the police, but for about half an hour, nobody was there. What is the reason to have a security system if nobody will respond to that? My second main concern is the life of the backup battery. I noticed once when I was away from home and there was a power outage for several hours that when I came back, the system was off which means that the backup battery is of short life. So if somebody wants to get in, they can jump the currents and disconnect the power in the house, then after waiting for about one hour, the battery will run out and the system will be useless.

    Other than that, we used a different home security service provider before, but Frontpoint is better because the security system is connected through the phone line, while the one I had before was connected through the cell phone power, and I minimally use my cell phone to receive notifications for my system. Also, I installed the device myself and only had one problem with placing the sensor, but after calling the customer support, everything went fine.

    Frontpoint is great and installing the device was simple. I had to call them when the alarm went off a couple of times to tell them that it wasn't a real alarm. I also had to call them when the web or the phone app was not syncing properly with what reality was. It'll show detection of motion when in fact there hasn't been any for quite a long period of time. Also, it seems to very infrequently update itself, so it can be showing something that's not really going on. However, I use the interactive features all the time and when I'm away from the home, it's good to know the status of things when I'm coming back. It's a good product and I like the technology but the price point's too high compared to what I've seen in other competitors. If I hadn't found a longer termed deal, I would've shopped around a little more and found somebody else.

    Installing of the device went well. I messed up on a couple of things but they were helpful on tech calls and getting the contacts aligned correctly. I was not paying as much attention as I could, but if I did and have somebody to talk to, it's actually easy and fast. Their instructions were well done. Everyone in the team is straightforward and was very nice. They answered all the questions during installation, which I thought was seamless.

    I like the system and once it's up and running, I don't have to think about it too much. I also like how they talk to me and all the support people are very good. I have the app and I access and control my system through that. I could have everything disarmed when I roll up to the house and driving to the garage. Prior to me getting home or when I leave, I set it and it's terrific. Since I had Frontpoint, my sense of security increased by one more level. I'm not under any illusion that it's gonna prevent anything. If someone's gonna get in, they're gonna get in and do some damage. Even though it's not fail-safe and it's not 100% protection, it's nice to have something there.

    Eventually, I will probably get some cameras also so I could use during the day. I'm happy I have Frontpoint and it's working, doing the job it's supposed to be doing. It's nice to use it both when I'm away or I'm there. If somebody asks me, I'd recommend it. There's a lot of systems out there but I'm extremely satisfied with it. They do what they said they were gonna do and there's not a whole lot of fuss and worry about it. It's there when I need it and it works as advertised.

    We've had Frontpoint for a year now. I have no problems with the system and everything else looks great except for when we had a power outage. The backup battery did not work and it warned me saying that it was low so I replaced the battery. We had four power outages and it never worked during those times. In addition, I would call their reps and they've been good to assist. I also like that it's very easy to control the system through the app on my phone and it also tells me what doors have been opened and what time it did.

    One time, the alarm in the house went off and Frontpoint gave me a call. I was in a meeting. I rushed home with two kids in the car, waited four hours for the police to come in the rain, in the car. The police never showed to find out why the alarm had gone off and I was too scared to go inside the house, but I had to run in the rain and get my neighbors. About eight hours later, the police showed up at my door after I called them about 85 times. They said they never got a call from Frontpoint letting them know to come and check the house. And the only reason they came out was because I had called 911 about 85 times. So I can’t wait to not use Frontpoint anymore. I’m counting down the days. I had to buy a gun because I don’t feel safe. As soon as we move, we are going to disconnect because when we first got them, we thought we were going to move them with us everywhere we go.

Whenever I call them, they were fast in accepting and dealing with the issue. Except for a couple of times that I had to call to make sure all the motion detectors and everything were working. In some of those, the wait time was way, way longer. Then they said they'll call us back but they never did. So apart from those couple of incidences, it's been great.     We've been a Frontpoint user since July of 2014 and the installation was really easy. One just needs to stick it on the doors and windows. One time, I had a false alarm and their team were great. They called all the numbers quickly, and I was able to tell them to stand down the police because I was on my way home and a dog triggered the alarm. In addition, I use their app to arm the system when I'm gone 99% of the time. Since installing this system, I feel a lot better. Their response time has been really good. However, there are other products out in the market now that are lower in price, so they may want to rework their monthly pricing to stay competitive. But I haven't gone with anybody else because I have to start over and buy all the equipment again. So far, I'm satisfied with the product and I have recommended them to friends.

One thing to be wary about with Frontpoint is once you negotiate a contract of a term, that’s your contract. So you'd better want a contract up. And also, there are lots of wireless systems now in the market that have much lower monitoring fees, so in about a year into my contract, I wanted to negotiate out of that. Initially, I didn't even want to negotiate, wanting to see if they would allow me to use a different monitoring service but the same system. I was just wanting to see if there's any way to reduce the fees. So, even though my overall experience was positive, the problem is that I can probably get a better deal elsewhere.

    The Frontpoint system gives me a more secure feeling. But as far as physical changes, in reality, for all security systems, once the alarm goes off, it's typically too late. It's on par with every other security system out there. The only thing I would like is if they would provide with their service at least one window alarm because there are many windows in houses, but they don't provide any of these and they are expensive.

    We've been using Frontpoint for about a year and a half. Installation was seamless. We ordered the products, they send us the equipment, the little pad and the sensors for the windows and doors and we called tech support. They walked us through the process - the plan for getting the little chip installed and it took 15-20 minutes less. It was an enjoyable, positive experience. Since then, we had to contact them one time when the pad wasn't accepting any input. We hit the button and nothing happened. They were able to reset the system and it started working again.

    Furthermore, we've used the app on our phone frequently since day 1. We arm and disable the alarm from work if we need to. It's been great and we like that feature a lot. We highly recommend them based on those few things alone.     I feel way better with Frontpoint. Before, I didn't sleep for a whole week when my husband went out of town once and we didn't have a security system.     Installing the Frontpoint security device was really easy. The only thing I didn’t like was when they sent the equipment along, it had a little three-inch stickies on the back of it which would not stick because we have sand-plastered walls. So we had to redo some of the mounting on the motion sensors inside. But other than that, everything has been absolutely flawless. We also had an issue on our front door where one of the door sensors got knocked. The wind grabbed the door and slammed it shut on a customer. It popped a little magnetic thing off and broke it so we lost the magnet and all that stuff. Frontpoint was awesome that they sent a new sensor over. They also noticed that we had low batteries on one of our motion detectors so they sent batteries along too. That was really cool to see them being proactive.

    Their app is also awesome that we use it every day. It’s really cool because the one night we had a sensor fall off the wall while everything was armed, it triggered an alarm and we live 10 miles away from the business. It was nice to be able to pull up the camera from my phone, check everything out and know that it wasn’t really an issue.

    Being able to control my security system at any time and anywhere was why I chose Frontpoint and I've been using it for over a year now. It was easy to set up and their guys also understood problems I've had with it and addressed them promptly. Communicating with them has been pleasant and short. The only problem I had with Frontpoint is it relies on the weather. I'm living in an area that is quite rural so the signal is not the greatest. It would be better if they have an option wherein they can send a signal to the service via the internet line and the telephone line at the same time. This way the telephone line can be used as a backup in case the internet gets cut off. However, sometimes the phone connection can be so weak too that I have difficulties activating and deactivating the system. But other than that it was a good experience with Frontpoint. I feel a bit more secure with it.

    Frontpoint stopped somebody from robbing our garage. I was going to go with ADT initially (which has always been popular) but my nephew said they were having a lot of problems with ADT. I started doing research and found out that Frontpoint was rated better and did better. Installation was a lot easier than I thought. They were also always able to answer my questions, and if they couldn't, they'd get right back to me. The only problem I've had with the equipment is the glass break sensor fell off the ceiling -- the sticky tape doesn't hold it forever.

    But lately we've had a lot of problems, and it must be with Alarm.com. When I come home and try to un-set the alarm or when I leave or go to bed and want to make sure that it's set, the device sometimes just sits there and blink and blink, then finally I would get a message saying it didn't go through, and I have to try again. I either have to manually do it or use my remote. It's just really annoying. We're really disappointed with Alarm.com right now. I do know that they're going through changes, so maybe that's the problem. But overall, we're very satisfied with Frontpoint. I know that there will always be a wrinkle, but for any problems that we've had, they always ironed them out eventually.

    We had ADT a while ago but I like Frontpoint better because with ADT, I had a couple of incidents that I didn’t even know about but with the Frontpoint system I get alerted right away.     Installation was easy. I got help when necessary and details were explained well. However, I find the app to be a little bit archaic. It doesn't send me alerts if my system isn't on. It has a notification relating to the Frontpoint system being on but I have to tell it a time of day if the system isn't on by. What I would prefer is that it tells me if my garage door is open and when it closes. That type of app interaction would be excellent.

    I have been an on-time paying customer with Frontpoint for about a year now but unfortunately, I don’t have the best comments to give about the company and I’ve had some horrific experiences with them. Items have been stolen out of my apartment because my alarm system has been hacked several times via XTR radio frequency and I had to call the police. I had to buy other types of surveillance equipment ever since and had my locks changed after having the Frontpoint system in place.

    I’m a single woman living on my own and I got the alarm system for my safety and security. It's not just for my peace of mind and to protect the actual property itself in terms of a fire or flood, but to protect my personal things as well. Unfortunately, I’ve not been happy with the system and it’s frustrating because I signed a contract and still have to pay for it. I have not been very satisfied with their service and alarm system.

    Frontpoint is mostly self-installed which is fine. But I had a couple of problems with some of the door sensors and some motion sensors keep falling off the wall. They've been good about working with me and sending me extra stickers to keep them on the wall. their people have been very friendly and responsive. I got a lot of false alarms and they would call to ask me if everything was okay. But I wasn’t home, so there was no way for me to tell if everything's okay, unless I have cameras installed at home or send somebody home to figure out whether or not it was fine. I feel that the way they call and alert me of the sensors being triggered needs to be complemented by a visual system to confirm if everything is okay especially if I'm not at home. Overall, it was a smooth and efficient experience.

    I live up in the hills in Oakland, California, which is supposedly a little safer. My neighbor’s house was broken into, and they left a big mess, which seemed worse than the actual robbery.     I used to have ADT, but I like the customer service more on Frontpoint's side which I've been using for a year. Also, it was easy installing the system. I just called them for the initial setup. They're very friendly and helpful, and have good customer service. I use the app to control the system, and I like it. It's very user-friendly. However, they shouldn't charge for the stickers.     It was simple to install the Frontpoint security system. The only problem I had with them is the sticky thing doesn’t hold the monitors, smoke detector and motion sensor to stay on the wall.     I've been using Frontpoint for a year and a half. Installation was easy and their team was helpful. One thing I don't like about them is they didn't allow me to suspend my account without billing. I wanted a billing suspension because we don't use the system right now. I've done some troubleshooting with Frontpoint, and the sensor reads intermittently. It's going to say that the door is open when it's actually closed, and then the alarm goes off in the middle of the night. We don't feel comfortable arming the system. We felt good about the system in our home, but we don't really feel too good about it now that we're in an apartment. The hook up to the door doesn't feel as secure.

    They should have the upgrade earlier in the contract, because they have some innovations. As an existing customer, it'd be nice to have the opportunity to be a part of those innovations, whereas right now, they told me I have to wait for another year before I'm eligible to try to upgrade my system. But overall, it's been great so far.

    I've used Frontpoint for around a year now and my favorite part is the app, it seems to be convenient. I also like the easy set up. However, it's not very loud at night and I can't really tell if it's going off or if there's something else like a dishwasher or dryer because the beep is of the same decibel. I set the alarm last night but my wife checked her phone this morning and saw that it wasn't on. So she opened the garage door and in fact it was on and it triggered the alarm but it didn't wake me up. I was upstairs with my son and neither of us woke up. It reminded me that this alarm is going off in our house and we're asleep at night through it. But their reps have always been great and the experience has been very decent. You get what you pay for. I would recommend it to people who live in a small place but not to those who have a house my size.

    The installation of Frontpoint was very easy. Everything came in the mail and it was not a problem. There’s been a couple of times where we had one door that led to the garage that if we close it all the way, it would sometimes set the alarm off. But they’re always fantastic about it. We were totally satisfied till we sold our house in October last year. A couple of hundred dollars were expected for us to get out of the account early in advance because they simply had a two-year contract. To this day, they are still charging my husband and it was ludicrous that we're still paying. It was total dissatisfaction and we will never use Frontpoint again.

    The security system was very simple to install. Devices came in a box and everything was labeled. We had to call initially and they made sure everything was activated, all the sensors were working and that was painless, and then we mounted the stuff up to the walls with the tape that came with it and it worked well. Their team was very professional and any questions I had they were able to answer. They even offered little pieces of advice.

    The online interactive features are very important to us and were definitely a big pull for us to go with them. We're in Hawaii right now, so it's nice to see that everything is armed. To have instant notification when devices are being triggered is really nice.

    Frontpoint is better than the previous system I had and I've been using their system for three years. It is connected to my iPhone and it is good. When the fire alarm came on, their team called me immediately if I have any question or problem in my house.

    For a year and a half, we've had Frontpoint as our home security. It was pretty easy installing it and their people are always friendly. I use their app which makes accessing my system a lot easier. I basically feel more secure with it.

    I've had a good experience with Frontpoint and I'm much happier with them than I was with Mautz, our previous provider. During installation, I needed an extender to get out far enough for the contractor on my garage door. But when I got it, I didn't think it'd reach. However, it did reach it but about a month or so afterwards, it was losing signal. I've never done anything about it though. Also, the Frontpoint team has always been good, courteous and did what they said they were gonna do. I've used the phone app too and it's great. It's much better than our old system.

    Frontpoint's security device was super easy to install and their team was very easy to get along with. We use the arming and disarming feature all the time and I love it. I can make sure that my child got home, or if we forgot to arm it as we were walking out of the house, I can easily arm it from work. My husband is actually able to sleep at night since we installed their security device. It's easy to use, convenient, and gives us peace of mind.

    The installation of my Frontpoint system was simple. So far, everything's working fine. In addition, their reps have been good whenever I've called. I have also used the app that gave me remote access before, but I cancelled it because I wasn't using it. Aside from that, Frontpoint is doing what it's supposed to do. I feel secure with the system.

    I had ADT prior but I like Frontpoint. It was easy installing their system. However, the only thing I don't like about Frontpoint is that the devices are very expensive. I had a new feature to my existing plan, and they cost a lot of money. I was paying for the service, so I don't know why they charge me the amount for the devices. They're fine when I initially got the plan, but later on if I want to make changes, add new devices as I'm expanding in my home, they don't allow me to do that easily. But apart from that, It has been very good. I always use the mobile app and I like it because it's easy too. I wanted to get the video feature, but it was costing me close to $600 so I had to drop off.
