Frontpoint is better than my previous provider. It's safe and convenient. Their reps are nice so that’s why I like them. I'm also using their app in the cell phone and it's easy. I like it, too. However, I want them to add a service. I wanna set up an automatic arm and disarm service like arm it at 10:00 PM and disarm it at 7:00 AM every day, but they don’t have it. I will use them more nonetheless.

I love Frontpoint. I already have them for almost a year and they are amazing. I’ve experienced ADT and some of the other ones and they think they’re all that and a bag of chips but their customer service doesn’t even come close to the light that Frontpoint shines. During the installation of the security device, they held our hand, virtually, over the phone and helped us to set everything up. When I called first, the gentleman I spoke with said “You don’t need all these when there’s sensors. You can just have a window breaker.” I had no clue that it existed. It’s been great overall. I do the app on my phone. Sometimes, when we run out of the house and we’re like, “Oh, we forgot to set the alarm.” The way the app was set makes it very easy to use quickly and do what you need to do and get off. It’s very user-friendly.
We've had fewer worries since the system was installed. Our house is about 28 years old and the lady decided that before we move in, she painted all the windows shut. We’ve been fully trying to crack the seal and break them open and it’s been twice now that we left and we accidentally left the little latch unlocked and Frontpoint called us immediately. It was like, “What do you mean something’s wrong? Like which sensor?” Then they told us, “It’s the window.” And we’re like, “Oh, the window just finally broke open.” It’s a really nice sense of relief because it’s nice that they called us immediately and tried to call both of us. Overall, it was a relaxing and carefree experience.

I definitely feel safer since having Frontpoint especially when I'm home alone, which happens a few times a year. I always arm or disarm my system through my phone and have used the actual panel three or four times. Their reps were very friendly, knowledgeable and I was pleasantly surprised. However, the three-year contract was not something that I liked very much. I actually canceled this contract because my fiance and I consolidated houses and I moved all my remaining months to his house who is also a user of Frontpoint. Not forcing people into three-year contracts is something that I would change. But Frontpoint was exactly what I wanted from a security systems company.

A friend referred me to Frontpoint and I've had them for a year now. It was easy to install the device. I use the mobile app quite often and I can check the app in any event. Although they could improve on that since my Father's ADT system alerts what exactly has been triggered instead of just giving a ding that tells that the front or the back door has been opened. Other than that, I like that I can get a notification on my phone which gives me peace of mind, and so I'd recommend them.

When I lived in Memphis, Frontpoint took care of my bedroom where my dog stays. I have a camera in there and I use the mobile app so I can check in on her. I love that feature. If I forget to arm the system, it sends me a text message alert. However, I moved and my system is not working properly and I've been upset about it. My door is too far away from the panel to pick up the sensor all the time. Finally, after calling about seven times, I talked to someone and they sent me a long-range sensor that’s supposed to be able to pick up better. I just got it in the mail and I was going to set it up this morning but I didn’t have time to call them and ask them for directions to do so.
Frontpoint is affordable in terms of the product that you purchase. The camera is only $100 and the sensors are only $35. The monthly coverage is a lot more expensive. It's $20 more than ADT but the service and the quality is better. It’s worth the extra money you pay. Additionally, the reps have always been very nice when I call. I don’t have to sit on the phone for an hour waiting on someone to answer the phone. They almost always answer right away.

I've had Frontpoint for a year now and it's been good with them overall. I installed the security device myself and it was easy to do. When I first got the security system, it went off and they responded quickly. I've used their interactive features on my phone and it's fine.

I had a home security system from another company but Frontpoint is better because it gives me the mobile ability that I didn't have at the previous home. The installation of the security device is pretty simple. I'm no handyman but I was able to do it. Everything is what I expected it to be. I want to make sure that I'm adding a bit of security for my home and I'm getting that with Frontpoint.

I had ADT before Frontpoint, and I like Frontpoint that's why I'm with it. It's one of easiest systems I've ever seen to install. It does a great job. And one time, I went to bed and happened to hit the motion detector. I got up the next morning and tripped the alarm. It'll wake up anyone half-asleep. It's a fantastic system. I had no problems with Frontpoint and I've recommended them to several friends.

The installation of the Frontpoint device took about two hours, and it was pretty easy and seamless. I called with a couple of tech support issues several times when I forgot to put in the code, and they’re all very friendly and nice people. I use a Windows phone and the Windows phone app crashes a lot. I’m told that for iPhone and Android users, it’s a lot better. But the web interface is fine. It’s been a pleasant experience all around.

Frontpoint was one of the top-two rated home security providers when I did a web research. Everything's good with them. Installing the device was a no-brainer and I also like having the mobility of the app on my phone. The system is easy to use being mostly self-explanatory. It works.

I researched on security system providers to make sure no intruders come in the house when we're gone and came upon Frontpoint. They made installation easy for an amateur to do. Their team walked me through the installation and told me what to do anytime I ran into a snag or if it was my fault, they would replace the equipment. We've had false alarms happening and they've always been very diligent about notifying us in a very professional manner. If it looked like a burglar, they would have called the police right away but if it looked like it's our mistake, they took time to find us before they call the police. Frontpoint gives us peace of mind without the hassle of understanding a complex system.

The installation of the Frontpoint device was difficult. I had my son here to help me who’s six foot tall. And then I went through three faulty units that were new touchscreens. I had the fire department here on a false alarm and it was bad. So they finally put me back to the old one, the white plastic with the blue lights, and I haven’t had any problems since. I also had to do a lot of the work myself, like take the panels off, take out all the wires off and then reattach them. It was a lot of troubleshooting which was a waste of my time. However, they assured me that if it happened again, which would be the fifth time, that they would release me from my contract. But so far so good. They’re on the phone with me within 15 seconds if I leave something open. It's a little bit more expensive than other things I recently found out about. I might switch.

We've had Frontpoint for less than a year. It was a great experience because they were very cooperative when I ordered the security system. I use the app on my phone to arm and disarm my system and it's great too. I now have less worries and feel safer.

We’re having a good experience with Frontpoint. Their team has always been friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish they did was to allow you to buy more equipment at a reasonable price, like if they ran sales on additional equipment because when we asked about buying additional things, it was always too expensive.

Frontpoint has an excellent and user-friendly product. Installing their device was easy and very straightforward and their people have been extremely helpful whenever I have a question. When I burned something in the oven and my kitchen smoke alarm had gone off, they called us. It works well, and in fact, the system alerted them to a fire that was caused by something malfunctioning in our stove. When the firemen came, they said that it could've been quite serious. So, I'm very grateful to them.
We have an enhanced sense of security now. I'm not so concerned about intruders, however, the fire alarm system is the most important to me. I also added what I call a water bug system - in case something goes wrong with my washing machine and we lose a lot of water, I have something going off. What I like about the system is that it's not dependent on a cable coming into the house. It's all done through the air, which in my view, makes it more secure.

There were a few times that the people at Frontpoint called us because we’d forgotten to disarm it. Also one time, my wife went outside and couldn’t hear the phone, so a patrolman showed up. It seems to be okay as far as the way the system works, and the people at Frontpoint contacting us and the police department. In addition, being able to access our system at any time and any place is a good thing.

I've been with Frontpoint for a year and everything's been fine. I did the installation myself and it was easy. However, I would like to see them be able to do multiple zones with one key panel as opposed to multiple key panels.

I've been a user of Frontpoint for a year now and I like the system so far. However, I had an incident when my ex-husband broke in Saturday. The alarm went off for a long time and the police took forever to get there. I would recommend Frontpoint. The only thing is maybe they could have a quicker response time getting someone out faster.

My husband and I work nights sometimes. There are times when I'm home alone and he is, and it makes us feel better knowing that we have Frontpoint. We have it for about a year and it’s great. Their reps have all been wonderful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

We’ve been with Frontpoint for six years now. The installation didn’t take more than a half hour or so, including reading the thing and making sure I got it where they described where I should put it. It was easy. Plus their team is pretty good. If you got a problem, they walk you through it. And if you got a question or you’re adding something new, they’re always helpful on the phone.
We use the mobile app and I love it. Also, we’ve got smart thermostats and lights. We had a radio problem at first and we don’t have great call service, so they found another cell company to work with it. One or two times they had to call the authorities, and they were quick and on the spot. It’s a great company. There may have been other people that cost less, but my experience with them was so good that it wouldn’t have mattered at that point because I liked how they handled it. I can’t say enough nice things about them. As a matter of fact, last year we did two commercial buildings with them also.

Frontpoint is the proper choice for a home security. I have it for over a year and it’s better than the security provider I had before. Every time I have a question or add a device, their reps know the answer and it’s resolved quickly. I can remotely log in from phones, tablets and laptops. It gives me peace of mind that it works.

Frontpoint's team has been friendly and able to answer questions. However, I'm thinking of discontinuing the security system right now because of the cost. Also, if somebody broke into my house, I don't think it would make any difference. I use it more for if I'm gone from the house.

I have Frontpoint security devices in two houses, one in Florida and another one in New Jersey. It's easy installing the security device and I did it on both houses. I had a couple of sensors that went bad over the years and the team got me new ones. Then the battery of the main control unit in New Jersey went dead and they sent me a new one too. Also, I use the mobile app a lot and I like it. With the security device in my home, I sleep better. It would be awesome though if they would allow other devices to be integrated in the system like the thermostats, smoke detectors and cameras of Nest. I like the Nest cameras way better than the camera sold by Frontpoint, but these Nest cameras are not allowed by Frontpoint. Other than that, it was good and seamless with Frontpoint.

The sales guy and everyone else at Frontpoint were helpful. I use their app every day, and it's the only reason I have the system. The only issue is that sometimes there’s too long a delay in the wireless system. The wireless side of it is not impressive, like we’d be better off running wires because of the delay. I’d rather spend 10 hours one day running wires than finding out that we have a system that doesn’t work one day. The margin of error should not be part of my concerns.

We feel safer since installing the Frontpoint system. Overall, it's convenient, easy, and user-friendly. I like their price point and it was rather easy to install the security device which was self-explanatory and simple. I dealt with the reps when the system was activated and the test run was done and they were friendly.

I called Frontpoint a couple of times. One time was because it wouldn’t go off right. The rep walked me through fixing one of the doors closer together and after I did that, everything was fine. On another time, I wanted to find out if there was any way that I could turn it on ‘cause I forgot. Every time I have to call, everybody’s been nice. I highly recommend them to anybody because it’s easy to use. I’m in my 70s, my husband’s in his 80s, and it was easy for us to set it up ourselves.

The house already has all the sensors installed and I set up the main panel. The Frontpoint reps are super friendly, very courteous and responsive. Even when I sent them email, they'd call me back to see if they can assist me in a better way. I really like their customer service. I use the alarm.com app on my phone and on the computer I use their website which is also based on the alarm.com site and it’s awesome. We close and open the door, arm and disarm the system and check out all the sensors from our phone or the computer. When we are away, it’s also very helpful to have the peace of mind.

I was shopping around between companies and Frontpoint had good customer reviews online and also beat ADT on the price. They seem to have great customer service as well. Installing their device was easy and even when I had a question or was confused about something, the staff was helpful on the phone and very good at explaining things over and over. Their phone app is also very good in allowing me to access the system on the go. So far, I'm very happy with Frontpoint.

Frontpoint has been really quick to answer whenever I have had any problems. Our experience was good so far. Installing their device was basically peel and stick so it was no big deal and their reps walked me through the password setup. They were courteous and patient. I have a little bit of interactive feature on the keypad but I’m more concerned that it works when the door or window is open. So far, Frontpoint is serving its purpose. My house got broken into before and this is the reason why I have the security system. Having an alarm system will help deter people from trying it.

It was easy to install my Frontpoint device. It's also convenient to have their app. But Frontpoint is a little behind the mark with some of their competitors, like with AT&T, in terms of what they offer. They don't offer a camera within a package, so you actually have to buy the camera and it's expensive, so I'm not as satisfied with them for that reason. I wish that they would offer a better package and make it more affordable.

When I was in California I had no way to know if I was safe. I don’t know the neighbors but I have one who knows everything that’s going on in and around the perimeter of my house. When I come home, she goes, “Did you get the package on your porch?” Sometimes, I would wake up in the morning and she has been digging up my yard for a flower garden. She wanted to cut down trees and I told her not to. I finally had to write her a letter to say there are consequences to trespassing. She’s backed off and I don’t worry about her anymore. Now I’m caught in a contract with Frontpoint.
I've had the system since September and just moved here in Washington last January. Since having the system, I haven’t felt that I wasn't safe here. During installation, my first thoughts were, “I don’t want to do this. Why don’t they do it?” But it was really simple and they walked me through it. Their team was friendly and very Johnny-on-the-spot if I need any help. They’re nice people.

I have Frontpoint for a year now after having ADT. Between the two, I like Frontpoint a lot better but I think to be fair to ADT, that system was a whole lot older and different. Installation of our new security device was incredibly easy because everything is wireless and I just stuck it on the wall. The Frontpoint team was pleasant to talk to and very professional. I had no problems with them. I have used different interactive features and I find them awesome. I felt the convenience brought by the product since I had the device.

My family uses Frontpoint and I've had it for a year now. We have it in bedrooms and downstairs as those areas are high priority security areas in our home. It took us a very short amount of time to set up the Frontpoint system, very easy. Their team was very helpful. I use the mobile app everyday which fostered our Fronpoint use. We definitely feel safer having it. If we hear a noise, we don't worry about it.
There's only one negative thing about Frontpoint. We are moving and we wanted to keep our service, but had to buy new equipment because we were going to leave the equipment here for the people and they told us don't do that. Ultimately, I had to pay out the rest of the contract or have the people who would take over the house to pay out the contract. That was annoying because we're willing to put more money into buying Frontpoint equipment then just retire off our contract and they won't let us do it.

We went with Frontpoint because of the equipment that we were promised. The installation was easy but we've had a couple of issues with the actual thing that hangs on the wall, the keypad where you disarm it. We had to do a couple of updates and a lot of times the app does not sync with it. So even though we're in the house and I tell it to arm, it will timeout and that's frustrating. When I called them to update the system they were very friendly but it really bothered me that I was not alerted by email or something that an update needed to be done. But it just happened to be that I called because of an issue we're having and they were like, "Oh, yeah. There's an update."

I am a 76-year-old woman and just got Frontpoint. Shall I say if I can install it myself, who can't? I talked to a couple of people there and they were pleasant and knowledgeable. I emailed them a couple of times and the response was quick. Is it perfect? No, but darn close. Yes, it is a little overpriced, but worth it when they were honest with me, did not try to oversell and are pleasant. Looking forward to feeling protected for many years.

It's been about a year that we've had Frontpoint security system in the garage and in the house. Everything came one time. It was simple and very easy to install the security device. My daughter suffered a brain injury, so we're a little safer having that. We’ve liked the features so far. I've tried using the interactive features on my mobile phone and I like the ability to access and control our security system.

I did an internet search for home security companies and several names came up. I looked up some reviews then went to the websites of Frontpoint, ADT, and some others and compared, and then I chose Frontpoint. Everything has been great. Installing it was much simpler than I could have ever expected. We've had one false alarm just before we got home because we had a relative come by the house and he'd forgotten the code. He remembered it but by then the signal got off. So Frontpoint called me and I told them it was okay. But then the police came by anyway so I thought that was okay.

Installation of our Frontpoint system was very simple but the equipment itself like the IQ panel, sensors had a few glitches. The equipment had to be replaced and updated a few times but they were highly interactive with their customer service people. They've been very, very good. Moreover, I have their app and I do most of my interaction with the system on my phone. The phone app works very well. Frontpoint has been a user-friendly and simple system.

My daughter roamed in the house once and the alarm went off. It was several minutes that she couldn’t turn it off and no one ever called me. Then one time, I heard my garage opened. I went to the alarm and pushed the button to show the police to get there and nothing happened. I called 911 instead. But the alarm works when I go out, come back in, and all that, but I don’t think it notifies them because no one called. We feel safer if Frontpoint works.

I had a break-in that prompted me to get a security system. I used to be with ADT but like the fact that Frontpoint works on cell phones rather than landlines. Putting up the device was really easy as the guide was detailed. I'm very happy with Frontpoint and feel a lot better now that I have it.

Frontpoint is easy to use and I like that I can access our system anytime. Installing it was easy - I followed the instructions they sent with the system and then called them up and within a few minutes, everything was up and running. They have good customer service. They’re always easy to get a hold of and there's not much wait time and I’ve never had any issue getting things fixed up myself. I've had Frontpoint for about a year and it's very easy to use. Installing the device was super easy. In addition, the salesman was super helpful, he even gave me a refund when I misinterpreted the services wrong. We also use the phone and computer features all the time and those were great and very helpful.

Frontpoint's good reviews and yearly contracts versus other providers made me choose them. As soon as I called them, I didn't have to go through any answering prompts. I talked to a live person right away and the pricing structure was competitive. It was very quick and easy setting up the system. It took me a little more than five minutes to do so. I called and someone walked me right through it. My wife and I have been pretty happy with the whole system. We always use the feature where we arm and disarm the system using our smartphone or computer and it's very easy.

With Frontpoint, I feel safer because our house is all windows, so it's like it's open all over. Their staff was courteous, knowledgeable, good at trying to resolve issues if there were any, and they didn’t leave us hanging for hours. When we had a problem with one door that wouldn't work, they were really good with going back and forth and telling us what to try. However, I'm having a few issues with their system, but I haven't had time had time to sit down and call them to go through it because we're selling another house.

It's been over a year that I've been with Frontpoint. Setting it up was easy and fast. They sent everything and I've set everything on the windows and doors and then I called them and did a test, and it was good. I almost always arm the alarm from my phone than from the system itself. I feel safer and less worried having Frontpoint. Everything has been great.

I had Frontpoint since last year and it’s a good experience. I had Vivint for six years and their price is the difference from Frontpoint. The bad thing about Frontpoint's devices is when I got the first one, the panel didn’t work well so it was replaced. Another thing was the motion sensor's sticky part doesn't work. I put the sensor first and it fell down and broke. Frontpoint needs to make it better. Vivint was better about that sensor. I can screw them on and they don’t fall. I got the app on my iPhone, but the thing is I have to have a password. Also, I don’t have a key so that I can arm the system from my car.

Frontpoint provides a good service, but their contracts are bogus. I moved from one location to another and we’re not allowed to put the actual alarm system up in my new location. It's locked into a contract and I can’t use it. The whole system is in a box in a corner. I talked to Frontpoint and they said I have to be a military only to discontinue a contract. Other than that, I have to give it to a family member or to someone. It was craziness.
I've used Frontpoint for four months and I set up the device myself at the first location. I loved them when I was at my old place. It was awesome and great customer service. I enjoyed the system while I could use it. But if I’m in a situation where I can no longer use it due to moving, Frontpoint has to be able to adjust. It would have also been better customer service if they said there has to be a way to get out of the contract. But it's frustrating because when I rang them up, it was, “You can’t get out the contract. You do not know how to use it.” It should be enough that I have showed them that I moved and not have to get into the detail of where I moved.

I'm very satisfied with Frontpoint. I like the idea of having a working wireless device that I didn't have to have someone come out and install it. I was able to do it myself. I called them and they were able to set it all up over the phone and it’s been working ever since. But I did have a sensor that failed at one point and after some troubleshooting, they decided to send me out a new one which came within a couple of days. I also had some false alarms where I have forgotten to turn off the alarm before I opened the door and they called very promptly and were able to disregard or make sure that everything is okay. It’s been great.
I have an app that I can pull up and be able to do things electronically which is very convenient. I really like being able to see everything online. I work third shifts but I’m able to be at work and make sure that everything is looking good. I can tell when people are coming in and out and that gives me a good sense of security and peace of mind which is exactly what I wanted.

Frontpoint's service and prices are great. Installation of their device is very simple to do, well-explained, and user-friendly. Their people respond quickly if anything goes wrong or is concerning. We also love using the phone app and I have fewer worries with the device installed. We discontinued their motion detector service because the device indicated it cannot pick up animals under 10 pounds, but it did and was constantly going off. However, they fixed that and purchased it back from us so that we could use it elsewhere where it would be more helpful.

I have Frontpoint for a year now and it was very easy to install their device. The instructions were detailed and they have good support. Their reps were very helpful and fantastic. When we couldn’t get one of the sensors to work, they shipped one right out to me and I got it the next day. I have the mobile app on my phone and I love it. I feel safer and sleep better at night knowing that I have the protection.

I was referred to Frontpoint by a friend. The system was very easy and simple to install. I really appreciated the service that Frontpoint has done with some of the sensor issues I’ve had and when they fixed that one motion sensor that would go off randomly. I also had a Z-wave door lock installed that they helped me think up. Every time I've called, everything has been handled very quickly. Excellent customer service. I love using the app. We've had people come to work on our house when we're away and I can unlock the door for them right on my phone.

Frontpoint is better than AT&T. It has given me a whole lot less expenses and if something goes wrong with any of the equipment, I can just replace it myself. It beats the hell out of calling AT&T and having the technician come down. Frontpoint also covers more. Even in the basic package, there are more window and door sensors. The representatives have always been extra friendly. In the experience when I was installing the system, there were a couple of sensors that were not talking to the main panel and the rep and I just put a couple of numbers together and then boom! Installation was real easy.
I like pushing the button when arming or disarming the system, but the only way that Allen does it is through the computer or phone. It works really well for Allen. My only complaint is Frontpoint doesn't make a front panel that can be battery-operated. It's actually plugged in.

Installing Frontpoint was perplexing in the beginning and it took a while before I could get the right one. The whole experience has been fine, however it’s too expensive. ADT is only charging $25 for the same services so I would request that Frontpoint reconsiders that.

I went with Frontpoint because at every level on every scale, it exceeded by a lot the provider I had before. Their people showed up when they were supposed to. They were completely professional. They got the system installed and answered any questions I had. I’ve gotten some alerts on my phone, and having that is really important. Their salesperson was really good and was not a high-pressure salesman. They weren’t trying to pin me to the wall and shove a pen in my mouth and say sign. I had some unique settings I wanted to set up and they were able to accommodate me. They’re a little bit more expensive than some other companies around right now. But I have security to hopefully save my life and if I’m ever in danger, I have adequate security to make sure I’m not. So I’m paying a little bit more to be with them than some others, but the value is there.
The weakest thing about Frontpoint is their sign. I can’t use it in my front yard because it’s poorly designed and can’t be used outside, which is too bad because I’m not letting anybody know that I have them. The sign was absolute garbage and it wouldn’t work. It’s supposed to be a sealed cardboard but it was really flimsy and small. And it was supposed to fit on this little plastic stake they had, and the plastic stake is not effective in an outdoor environment. Also, the opening where you’re supposed to attach the sign was not adequate. They might want to look around at their competition and see what kind of signs other people have. It’s worth the money to invest in a slightly better sign.
One of the things that concerns me as far as a safety issue is we have the ability with a little panic button they provide to put in a signal that we’re in serious trouble. It has its own code. But Frontpoint's service is set up so that even if they receive that, they have to attempt to call my cellphone and wait for me to answer and tell them that “Yes, I’m in danger,” before they can respond and send a unit. In the event of that, I would already be dead. That bothers me that when they provide a panic service, that that is an automatic "send the police". And I found that out accidentally. It was something I learned after and that’s a real weakness in the service. Because if I actually use the panic button, if I’m actually called upon to need to do that, then for response to wait for them to call my cellphone and then wait to send police is dangerous. I would really like something about that resolved.

My son who is in Kansas City has Frontpoint. My wife and I got ours over a year ago. We have a large home and we live in the country. We sleep on the main floor and we have six doors. When we’re gone or when we’re asleep, we have security. The installation was too simple. It's all wireless. We just stick them up and away they go. Also, programming it was very simple and we were able to talk to a nice rep. I also like that I'm able to control the system from my phone. I'm thinking about putting up a couple of cameras and controlling one outlet with lights and sound because we're gone a lot and it's nice to have the home looks lived in. Overall, I've been very pleased and have already recommended them to a friend.

I'm happy with Frontpoint. Setting it up was easy and I'm sure I must've gotten it right, but I wonder what's going on on the other end. I was also thinking of getting a video security and upgrading the system, but I wanted to get some of the other stuff straightened first because it says something that I can turn the system on and set it when I am sleeping. If anybody opens the door, the alarms go off. I just know how to turn the system on when I leave the building. I do recommend Frontpoint to everybody.

Have had Frontpoint for about two years. Last year while we were away, the smoke detector went off. The fire department had to break into our home to check for fire. The smoke detector was at fault. Later that year, the alarm started going off for no reason. This time it was the battery in the main unit (which has always been plugged in). That make both of the problems related to inferior equipment. Now the system is saying that the front door is open. Everything is the same with that sensor as it has been since it was installed. According to Darius ** the problem is with the installation (which has not changed in two years) or there is now something in the house that is messing with the sensor. Since they have no service people, they just sit in their office and tell me it is something that I have done.

We're very happy with Frontpoint and their security system, it is wireless, but their signs were not sturdy so I had to pay $10 and order more. We're here in Florida and they tear up continuously with the wind and rain that we have here. Their prices are a little steep since we can get other security systems for 20 bucks a month. But, we've had good service from them. It has been wonderful every time I need to call customer service.

I had ADT Security before and I had problems with it. With Frontpoint, there were some plus points that met my needs. I liked the cellular factor, the ease of installation in the house, and that the system works out better. I had some calls when I was installing it and when I wasn’t quite used to its operation. Any time I’ve had calls to customer service, they’ve been very helpful, friendly and knew what they were doing. So I was pleased. I’ve not had any security issues at all.

I love Frontpoint. They have a nice system including wireless sensors unlike ADT which needs wires where I ahve to put a hole in the wall and is complicated. With Frontpoint I got what I needed and it's also very easy to use their app on my phone in arming the system.

Installing Frontpoint was a great experience. I got the package and some straightforward information on the process itself, then I had to call a number to activate and someone stayed on the phone with me the whole time when I went through the house and did everything. One time I had an issue with the door. One of the magnets went on the door for my basement. Their team was great. They hustled and got me the replacement part and were able to diagnose it pretty quickly. It was a defective piece and it’s only one outreach since I’ve signed up. Home securities are pretty daunting for a customer who’s never had one before and trying to figure out exactly what I need, where and how, the team of Frontpoint was very helpful. Frontpoint is very easy and intuitive.

Installation of the Frontpoint device was easy and their team was professional and courteous. Also, it's great that I can control the system using my cellphone. It's very convenient. Although, there's a feature that is lacking. When I'm out of town, I want the alarm to activate and deactivate on its own as per schedule. Currently, I have to do it manually. Furthermore, sometimes the sensors are not that accurate. There's been instances where 1 hour later it was still saying that it was activated when it wasn't. This made me worry and thought somebody was in the house. Nevertheless, I already have it for a year and I'm happy.

I went online and looked up a study that an independent person had done comparing all the different security company that you could purchase from and all the pros and cons and that's how I learned about Frontpoint. Installation was super easy. And when I had a little issue where my husband installed one thing at the wrong door and we didn't know that, and they were able to identify that very quickly. Interaction with them was great. Moreover, we feel definitely safer since having the system. I use their interactive features through phone or the computer all the time and it's also great and very easy. You know immediately what's going on at home. Frontpoint has been perfect.

We just crossed the year mark in being with Frontpoint and we've been very satisfied with them, especially with their customer service. Our previous provider was extremely expensive and they didn’t provide the same level of services that Frontpoint did, so we made the change. The installation was self-explanatory with the information that was provided. I had a few questions and I had a good response from them. I installed the fire detection system in close proximity to the kitchen oven so if I open the oven and there was a little bit of smoke, the alarm system would go off. It's a lot more sensitive than we’d had anticipated. We relocated the sensor and haven’t had any false alarms since. Also, one morning, I went out to get the newspaper and forgot to neutralize the alarm and it went off and the police showed up in the driveway. The response was very quick so I have praise for both Frontpoint and my local police department. So far, we’re very happy with their services. I shared my experience with a friend and showed him how easy it was to set the system up.

Frontpoint had good customer reviews. I can install it myself and I could take it with me when I leave. I have it for a little bit less than a year now and so far it's been awesome. It's very easy to install and use plus they give quick customer service. Also, my iPhone alerts me of any problems so it's really good. My whole experience with Frontpoint was fine. We hired an electrician to come and install the device. We have had some difficulty with false alarms with the internet. We've had that five times, so that's been a bit of a concern to us but Frontpoint offered a resolution as to why it keeps activating falsely.

I have never even been able to use my Frontpoint security device. The equipment is inadequate and the sensors are not staying. I had the door sensor fall off my front glass door. I can’t find the little magnet that came with it so I can’t even turn on the system. I had contacted them before and they gave me another number. Then what ended up happening was that the sensor fell off the wall and I had moved it and it went off. We couldn’t figure out how to shut the thing off. So they called and gave a phone number. I work odd hours and I never wrote the phone number down.
I went to the internet and got an address where I can write and let them know. I’m pretty sure they can see that the system was never activated for the whole year. I was gonna try to get out of the contract with them because it’s a waste of money. I pay $44 every month and for what? I’m totally dissatisfied, so I'm going to sue my contract and see what I could do from there. They sent me a sticky tape to fix the problem and the problem was not fixed. I’m just paying for a system that I’m not even using. I will not recommend it to anyone. I'd rather go ahead and pay for the system to be installed and monitored through someone else.

Frontpoint was at the top, if not within the first five for a lot of the different online reviews. I had no problem at all with it, except that I had to order two additional times from them because I didn't plan it out well enough myself. I have it set up where they draw my payment from my Visa card. The Visa card number got stolen on two different occasions and I had to have new cards issued and both times forgot that they automatically draw. They ended up calling and wondering if I was having trouble paying. But it was just that I had to have a new Visa card. Even throughout all of that, they were very cordial, polite, and professional. They seemingly know what they're talking about and took care of me immediately. I can't sing enough high praise for them all the way around.

Recently found out that Frontpoint Security has the incorrect address linked to my alarm system. I've had my alarm system for 1 yr and 7 months now. I signed the contract virtually through an email while on the phone with a customer service representative. Somehow the address was incorrect and no one knew until my alarm went off one night and the Police Officer was dispatched to the wrong location!!! The customer representative had no explanation for how the police officer was dispatched to the incorrect address or how Frontpoint had the wrong address.
I can't believe I have been paying and LOCKED MYSELF INTO A 36 MONTH CONTRACT with a NEGLIGENT COMPANY which provided me with NO ALARM for 19 months. I leave my home and set up my alarm yet I have had NO PROTECTION for 19 months. The customer service representative offered me 1 month fee waive out of 19 months. This is absolutely unacceptable. This Company has failed to provide proper Home Security. I will fight this until I am compensated 100%.

Frontpoint have more features per price than ADT, my previous provider. The set up over the phone ordering the stuff was easy. I was pretty upfront about everything in the cost because that was my main thing. They brought down a different thing more than what I was getting at ADT. Also, I can access the system anytime which is awesome. Putting the device up is so easy and simple, too. Their staff were very helpful because it was operating a different system for some reason. There were little quirks in between but they stayed on the phone throughout the entire time of set up.

I got Frontpoint installed last summer and once, I accidentally tripped the system. My wife and I had it located in a different area and we came in through the garage and we forgot we had it set. By the time we could disarm it, we'd already gotten a call from Frontpoint on the cellphone. We gave our password and it was all good. Very quick response. We were still standing there and just gotten the alarm off when the phone rang. So, all in all, the customer service is excellent and the system was what we needed. It's working out very well for us.

My home is a two-storey house, and the living room, bedrooms, dining room, kitchen and all of the downstairs areas needed to be protected more so than the upstairs. Installing the device was easy. I only had one issue, but it wasn’t Frontpoint’s fault. The gap between the sensors was too far from the door and the door frame, so they sent me up some spaces to fill that gap. And then everything seems to work well. I've got the mobile app on my computer and I’ve also got it on my phone, and it’s nice to be able to set the system when you’re away. I went away recently and actually used the app because I forgot to set it before I left. That worked out timely.
But I have been a little concerned. We had one time where the alarm went off by accident, but I was expecting that phone to say “Hey" and there was no phone call. I don’t know if Frontpoint had a grace period that I don’t know about ‘cause we turned it off within 20 seconds of it going off. But nobody called, and someone should have called to confirm that that was a false alarm. I’m looking online and they have a lot of other good services. They’ve dropped their rates considerably so it’s gonna be a concern next time when the contract’s up. I might be looking for somebody else that’s doing the same thing for a lot less money.

I've used Frontpoint since I bought the house last year. I had ADT back in New York. The only difference between the two is that ADT is wired versus Frontpoint which has newer technology and has the touchscreen. I also am able to monitor the security system through my Frontpoint phone app. Installation was quick and simple. Once I got to the monitor, I was able to call their customer support who guided me through all the installation steps. The customer support was knowledgeable and very courteous. The phone app tells me when somebody opens the door or if I need to close it if it's left open. At night I sometimes forget to arm the alarm and because I have the monitor on my first floor, I do it through my phone from the second floor. It's very convenient and a lot easier. I can do it myself.
Because of my small kids, I have more peace of mind knowing that I have something that I can alert if there is an intruder or even if I forget to leave the door open. But I would've liked to have a lower monthly cost. Other security companies offer a lower price with touch screen monitors too but because I'm tied into a three-year contract with Frontpoint I couldn't do that right now. But overall, I would no doubt recommend Frontpoint.

We've used Frontpoint for one and a half years. Both the front and back doors are my priority when it comes to security. I like it as it makes sense and is pretty easy and straightforward. Also, being able to access the system anyntime and place is very convenient. Their team is courteous and easy to deal with. Since having it, I feel safer especially after installing the cameras, so I know who is coming and going out.

We had to install the Frontpoint system on our own but it was really easy and the instructions were clear. The person we spoke to on the phone walked us through everything step-by-step. We've had a few false alarms but the Frontpoint staff members were responsive, friendly and patient with us when we had to provide our password. They only want to make sure that it's really us who are on the phone. There have been times I have forgotten to set the alarm but I can go to the app on my phone and set it from work or wherever I am which is very helpful and convenient. I feel a lot more secure in my own home knowing that Frontpoint is our home security system.

I have Frontpoint for 2 years and so far, they're pretty good. I got them for business so I gave them a try for regular house, too. Installing the security system was easy - I did everything myself. I have the interactive features setup and it's pretty efficient. I have the notifications, too.

I have a couple of our friends in our area who use Frontpoint and they'd liked it. They told me about how easy it was to put Frontpoint where they want them and truly it was very simple. Then when I got one of my doors replaced, I called the Frontpoint team to let them know and they’ve sent me a couple of extra sensors. I’ve done the arming in the app with my cell phone and it’s definitely something. Obviously in this day and age where everything is going off our phone, I have that at my fingertips as well. It’s nice, especially when we go away and we’re off, it is easy to check in using that app.
We've had Frontpoint for about a year and since its installation, I definitely have a little sense of being safer. I know this alarm is more on warding off anyone who might come in rather than my safety. It’s one of those things like a house insurance, especially when we’re young and we’re striving the need to be paying this. But then when we actually need it, it’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. My Frontpoint experience has been very easy and it’s out of sight because I don’t think about it often. Nevertheless, it's an easy routine. When we go out, we turn it on. When we come back, we turn it off. When we go to bed, we turn it on.

I don’t use the home security alarm too much and I'm thinking if I should look at other options. Customer service is good but I don’t like the fact that Frontpoint is still tethered and then I have a wireless device. It’s also easy to fall off and not very robust.

We've had Frontpoint security system for a year and a half now, and they've been helpful and pleasant when we called them one time because we were worried about something. We use our phone all the time to manage the system and when we’re going to bed at night, it feels a lot better to know that it’s there. If somebody wants to get in and steal, the system would alarm the police so it gives us a peace of mind.

My experience with Frontpoint has been excellent. I had ADT before and Frontpoint's customer service is much better. They are amazing, very helpful and you can understand them very clearly. The biggest difference would be that you get the feel of it as a small company and get customer service, as opposed to a big corporation where you’re lost in the mix. Their app works very well, and the ability to access cameras and do things from your mobile device is huge. It’s one of the biggest reasons why I use it. It’s very convenient, nice, and a good feature.

I liked that I can access and control my system at anytime and anywhere. In fact, it was one of the main reasons I went with Frontpoint. However, I didn’t use it as much because the sensors started acting up. I stopped arming it because it gave some false alarms, and it was saying a door was not closed when the door was closed.

Installing the Frontpoint security device was very easy and I really like the system and the ad hoc ordering – giving what we need. It has been very nice setting up. We had a few more pieces in after the fact and their team helped get that setup. We had a few alarms go off and each time they called, it’s been friendly and helpful. Moreover, we extensively use their interactive features. It’s very good and I like being able to see what’s opening and closing. There is an issue with getting notifications when filtering set-up selection and getting notifications but it’s a smallish problem. We got the system right after we got break-in so that definitely made living in the house for my wife a lot more comfortable. We’ve been very happy with them. The whole experience has been simple and out of mind.

I used to be with ADT but when I tried to get some new stuff, they were going to charge me an exuberant amount of money. So I went with Frontpoint to try it out and it works pretty good. I got more modern equipment now and Frontpoint texts me whenever I set the alarm, so there’s always a communication with them. Installing the system was pretty easy. There haven't any intruders yet, so everything has been good. The only time that we had an alarm was when I had construction going on and somebody set it off. It was an accidental alarm but Frontpoint called me up right away, which was good.

I installed the Frontpoint system myself which was easy and the Frontpoint team were courteous and really good. However, I've had these issue with the system so I haven't even used it within the last three weeks. My system was showing that I needed a new battery so I got a new one, but it's still doing the same thing it was doing before the new battery was installed. So right now, the system is not on in my house, but I'm paying for it. I'm not happy about it but I was unable to call them the next day. I was supposed to call them again the next morning but I never got around to do it because of trauma caused by a severe accident I was in.

It’s been roughly a year since we've been a Frontpoint user. I used to have ADT and as far as the services go, hands down, ADT was a thousand times better. But as far as equipment goes, if it wasn’t for the constant failure, Frontpoint equipment is a thousand times better. As a matter of fact, my wife was just leaving the house and she wasn’t able to arm the panel. She told me that the panel has gone completely black. And I’m trying to arm it from my phone remotely and it seemed like it has disconnected to the panel. Their equipment is beautiful but it doesn’t work. The panel that came in the mail the very first time wasn’t working from the get go. Then I got a second panel, then the third which both failed. This will be my fourth panel that failed today. Sometimes I don’t even know if it’s armed or not.
Also, I’ve tried to refer several people to them but they kept telling me that they'll get in contact with them but it never happened. Their customer service is a fail. When I call them, there’s an extremely long wait time. I always call them about why my equipment is not working and why are my referrals not getting a callback. Their response would always be, “Oh, we’re working on improving our customer service. It’s going to get better in the near future. We apologize.” My brother-in-law who wants to subscribe because they just bought a home called them and nobody ever responded to them. So they decided to go with a different company. The people, once they’re on the phone, they’re very friendly but if I ever need to speak to somebody, there’s really nobody available immediately.
With ADT, somebody would immediately pick up the phone and immediately assist me or if a false alarm would go off, somebody would immediately call me. But with Frontpoint, no one is even watching it. My panel hasn’t been working for at least 24 hours and no one has called to mention anything. In fact, there had been several times when the alarm has gone off. I would consider 15, 20 seconds a long time. But unless it’s going off for a minute, no one is going to bother calling me back because they’re just going to assume that it was accidentally triggered. So to sum everything up, they have poor customer service, delayed responses, and failing panel because the sensors and remote access are just fine.

After I'm done with Frontpoint in a year, I won't go back because they don't have 24-hour support. They have a phone center, but when I needed to call because I had an alarm go off at 10 o'clock at night and 6:00 in the morning, I was asked to leave a message. That doesn't make me feel too secure. If the alarm went off, I wanted to know how it went off. I had to wait for them to come in, then I got transferred to technical support. It’s like there’s no specialist - everybody seems to do their own thing and there’s not one person who actually knows how to do at least half of what they should be doing. It was a waste of my money and time.
I didn't have any problems installing the system, but it does not have any highlights. It sucks and is really horrible. I can't even cook bacon in my kitchen without setting off the smoke alarm - it's so sensitive, it's not worth it. Frontpoint is listed as Better Business Bureau's number one, but I'm gonna write in it as soon as I'm done and work on knocking them out of number one. I've had ADT before which is better.

It was not a problem setting up Frontpoint and I've had it for about a year now. Managing and controlling the system has been great. It works and it's also been all satisfactory with their staff.

I was really appreciative of how courteous their team had been. I called different times. Every person that I got was extremely nice and helpful. Having access to the Frontpoint system from anywhere at any time is also convenient and really nice, just in case I forget or someone goes into my house. Having it takes a little bit off my chest especially when I work days at a time and I’m gone.

Frontpoint was easier to install unlike the ADT we had, which had to send somebody out. Their instructions were laid out very well too. I called them last year and they solved my problem. Our sense of security has been better. The lines can be cut from the outside with an ADT system, but that can’t be done with Frontpoint.

We've been using Frontpoint for about a year. The house was brand new and we wanted a security system when we moved in. I described in detail the layout of the house and where we may need the sensors. The Frontpoint people were very helpful on that and I had good communication with the person during installation.
Every time we leave the house, I activate the system on my smartphone and when we come back, I disarm it. Sometimes when we're in the house, we're accessing the Wi-Fi system and then as we move away, we switch to our provider and there is a little delay. But we’re quite satisfied with the system. We wanted it and we feel more secure. It has worked out quite well.

It's been a year and two months since I started with Frontpoint. I called when I first activated it and when I had a few questions about installing some sensors in areas where they didn't exactly fit, but it had more to do with the moldings around doors than the equipment. I used to have some roommates so I didn't make full use of the system's interactive features as I would have. But I've been reconfiguring some things and using it more actively now that my roommates are gone. I have a significant other who just moved in and they're still familiar with using a different vendor and we'll be actively using it before too long here. I haven't had any malfunctions and I also plan to get some electronic door entry stuff, like the door knobs that use the interface so that I can open the door from the outside.

I really like Frontpoint. We were able to install the system on our own and they walked us through over the phone. Last week I called the Frontpoint team because there was a different message on my box and they were super helpful. I've used their app on my phone before and I like it except that there's a part of me that wonders if what the phone says really was done at my house. Sometimes I go back and make sure that what's said on the phone is really like that. It's worked every time I've used the app, though I still tend to push the buttons on the device itself. But if I forget to set the alarm, I could set it up on the app. I like that I can look and see what time things were turned on and off, too. It helps, like when my kids come home, I know they're home because my phone says the alarm was deactivated.
Having the Frontpoint device makes me feel more confident. When my husband has been out of town, I’ve taken my phone upstairs and armed the device with the motion sensor which we normally don’t do when we’re home for added sense of security. Then before I go downstairs, I disarm it. There have been a couple of times where we've had an air conditioning vent getting opened though we didn't consider that one as opened. It blew the curtain that was in front of a sensor so the alarm went off even if nobody had come in the house. Because of that, I knew it was armed and safe, but we made it go off and nothing was wrong so I thought we're going to get in trouble with Frontpoint. However, their people were kind when they called to double check that everything was safe and that we're fine. This also happened when we went to the airport at 3 in the morning and forgot that by setting our alarm, our heater was still going to go off because it was 3 in the morning. Still, they were super nice about it and were able to resolve it quickly. I’ve been impressed with them.

I got Frontpoint almost a year ago because my neighbor told me that one day when I was out of the house somebody was looking in my window. The system came in the mail and I put it in. One of the motion sensors has never really worked good and the glass sensor has never worked. I reached out to Frontpoint and they sent me new batteries. That didn’t work and I just got tired of fooling with it.
My alarm went off three times and they called me. I was out of the house at that time and they asked if I want to dispatch the police so I said yes. One time, my wife arrived 45 minutes later and no police were there. The alarm was still going off and they hadn’t shut it off. Almost an hour has passed and no police ever showed up. The second time I didn’t get the call because I was in the movie theater and my phone’s turned off. When I saw my phone, I got the call about two hours later. When we got home, the alarm was still going off. They said the police had come by but nobody said anything to me. If the police came by and the alarm was going off that you can hear out in the yard, I don’t understand why the police didn’t stop it.
The third time, it took more than an hour for the police to finally come by. There was nothing wrong but we were out of the house again and when we got home, it has been more than an hour that the alarm has gone off. We had shut it off when the police finally stopped by. So, I talked to them. I called and made a complaint. I wanted to cancel my service but it will be $850, so I didn’t do it. It's scary if somebody broke into my house and it would take more than an hour for the police to come. I called the police myself that day and they showed up about 10 minutes. So, I don’t understand if it’s the alarm or the police, or what’s going on.

The installation of our Frontpoint system was pretty easy. I had one glitch but that was human error since I didn't know how far apart the sensors had to be. When I called them however, they took less than two minutes to explain it to me and I was good to go. I had some wacky ideas on where I couldn't install some of the security features and they were very honest and open with me about which one will work or not. They didn't try to upsell anything and I appreciated that. Their team has been great overall. The system's interactive feature is very helpful. I arm and disarm it with my smart watch and my fiance does it with her phone. We use the system constantly so it definitely helps, especially since some people in the neighborhood have had break-ins and we have not. I've had an excellent experience with Frontpoint and I have recommended them to people.

Frontpoint is cost effective and there's no lock-in. I prioritize the security of the living room and the basement of my house the most and so far, I have been really happy with their service. When I set it up the first time, I had a problem but they helped me walk through all the sensors and see if they're installed properly. Then we had an issue with a motion sensor in the hallway that gave us false alarms two times. We have another device, and its vibration causes the motion sensor to trip. We've informed Frontpoint about it a couple of times but I haven't had the chance to follow up, so we've stopped using that sensor. But the mobile app is really helpful - it's what we use primarily to arm the system when we leave the house. My wife definitely feels safer with the Frontpoint system.

Installing the Frontpoint security device was easy. Also, I've already had eight calls to their team and in most of it, they've been incredible. Though, I had one really bad experience. An employee was very short and rude. But other than that, they've always been extremely courteous and attentive. It's been good overall. Moreover, we use their interactive features all the time. It's the only way we do it. Since installing the system, we feel less worried about somebody breaking in. But we're constantly worried about walking in without disarming the system and Kirkland police charges us $50 every time they show up for a false alarm. They don't take prisoners.
We had two false alarms and even though I tried to call the company in a timely manner, they dispatch somebody anyways. It cost us about $100 for the Kirkland police last year. But then, they went ahead and gave me credit towards my service. So, that made a big difference and made me feel like there’s a partnership there. That was good. Martyn, the customer support supervisor was a nice and wonderful guy. He got engaged and helped me out with that situation with the two false alarms. He was kind enough to look after my account and issue credit. He did the credit all the way through which I really appreciated. Overall, they're very nice and knowledgeable people.

I had ADT before but I like Frontpoint better because I can take care of the system on my own. It was easy installing their device. I just plugged it in and called them when it was set up. Their reps have been really helpful. I wasn't doing something right when I was setting up the system and it was a faulty sensor so they sent me another one. I usually set the system when my husband's not in town.

I like Frontpoint's customer service - it is the best. At one time, the battery was not working and they changed it for free. And at another time, the equipment was broken - there were kids going out of the house who broke it, and Frontpoint exchanged it for free as well. I’m also using my smartphone to alarm and disalarm my system and enable the key. The only thing is I don’t like how the motion sensor works. It only works at a certain height and I'd like it if they come up with a better service on the motion sensor.

I used a different provider at another house and although the cost is the same, Frontpoint is much easier and is less costly to install. The only thing was their literature. When I was installing the system and when I needed to troubleshoot something, there was no literature online and they didn't send me anything. It’s almost too mysterious and I found that annoying. Aside from that one thing, I'm happy. I feel safe with Frontpoint.

The Frontpoint device was super easy to install, and I got the extra strips to make them stick to the door in case I made a mistake or I needed to move them. I had set off the alarm when I didn’t mean to but they answered the call right away so it’s been working out great with the Frontpoint team. There hasn’t been any problems with anything yet and I’m able to manage the system. And this is my first security system, so, it's important because I'm still getting used to dealing with it.

I had a bit of an issue with a couple of the little window things during the installation but it was fine - the Frontpoint system was fairly simple to install. The first contact salesperson was very pleasant and explained well what they had to offer. So far we’re satisfied with the service. I may look at more features in the future, but at this point we’re happy enough with the overall experience from Frontpoint. We all really have a high sense of security now. We got the system because we had a break in so having Frontpoint helped us get over the trauma - it restored the sense of security that we used to have. We have recommended Frontpoint to another family member.

I, unfortunately, had somebody break into my home. I searched for security systems online and Frontpoint which was what I thought was a bit more manageable price-wise, was the best and offered a little bit more was what I chose. Installing it was fast and easy. What I've seen in other places with other people that I know takes a little more time and it has a lot more other stuff but with Frontpoint, it's straightforward. My interactions with their team were all good, too. They went through every step that I have to take. They also said that they would be available if I needed them. I didn't need them but after I installed the system they called to check up on me. Everything is good. Having Frontpoint, I feel a lot more secure in my own home after I had that breach of someone invading it. I feel a lot more comfortable now.

We've had Frontpoint for close to a year now. Overall, the system is good and the sense of security it has given us is wonderful. It was fairly easy to install our security device. I use the app quite a bit on my phone. I like being able to access and control our security system at anytime, anywhere because there are so many times I forget to set it and then remember only after I've left and been gone for 10 minutes, so it's very convenient.
However, we've had a bad experience with the sticky stuff they use to make the sensors stay on because these don't ever stick or stay on. But they've always replaced these and helped solve that issue. Moreover, to access the main terminal I have to sit on a counter in the middle of the house, and that's not convenient for me because if I forget to disarm the system when I come in, I've got to hurry up and get to the kitchen to disarm it. We used another home security provider before and I liked this other one a little bit better because I had two panels right by the doors then, and these are actually on the walls, so it was a little bit easier to get to them.
Furthermore, our basement is finished so sometimes we're down there watching TV and we don't hear the alarm system. There's only one main panel and if we have the basement door closed, the alarms could go off up there, but we don't hear this downstairs. We could buy another system for the downstairs area, but it's expensive.

My husband called Frontpoint and they explained things to him, and he decided to get the security device. It was very easy to install and they were all very helpful when we called. One time I couldn't turn the alarm off, and they told me that it's probably because of my nails that I got the button stuck and the alarm was beeping. They're very good. I also arm and disarm the system from my computer and it works really fine. It's good because even if I'm outside, I can turn it on and off. I love Frontpoint and its features.

Installing the device was very seamless. The Frontpoint team gave very clear instructions when walking me through the configuration and activating the sensors with the panel, and was really friendly. Frontpoint has cameras but I bought some of my own. I feel a little bit better with a camera installation because we live out at the end of a road and hardly anybody comes down.
If we forgot to set the alarm, I just log on to my smartphone and set it. This is fine as long as my phone is not hacked and somebody turns off my system while I'm not here. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service and Frontpoint is good product-wise. But the sensors and add-ons are a little pricey for what they are. I wish Frontpoint could make some adjustment to the monthly pricing and everyone gets an adjustable monthly pricing based on how much money you make the down payment of the system. I understand they have to pay their developers and etc. for the software system but there are off-shelf packages that do the same thing for less money, just no monitoring contract.

My husband Googled “the top rated security systems” and found a list where Frontpoint was the first. I ended up doing the installation of the system. I had to get some more sticky things sent, and then I wasn’t sure where to put the monitor itself. It was interesting, a little frustrating but okay. Their reps were very pleasant and very informative. I use their app, and I have been on the website. It’s nice and I like having control of the system, especially when my kids open the door and I forget that I armed it. I can quickly grab my phone and take care of it without running through the house.
Between my kids and my husband, we’ve set the alarm off so many times. They call and are very pleasant, polite, and understanding. The only thing is Frontpoint definitely has a higher cost monthly. I personally would’ve gone with SimpliSafe. Their customer service is really nice, friendly and personable but it's a lot monthly that we have to budget for, especially when we don’t use it all the time and we're in a contract. Other than that, I’m overall happy with Frontpoint.

I have Frontpoint since May of last year, and it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was easy. Customer service was very helpful, friendly, and walked me through everything on the first try. The extra feature is terrific and was one of the reasons I went with Frontpoint. The security system performs as needed.

I've had Frontpoint for little over a year and the old service I had doesn't even compare price-wise and customer service-wise to it. The other one was terrible. It was very easy installing my Frontpoint device and my garage doors and driveway were top priority. The interactive features have all been really good and dealing with their team has been great.

I'm technically challenged, so installing the device was a little rough for me but Frontpoint walked me right through it. It took me a while but once I understood what the guy was telling me, I got it right away. Its interactive features have been wonderful. When I've been out of town and I know somebody's supposed to be coming by, I check to make sure that they're not just telling me they're coming by. So it's been nice to have that feature. I've had a few false alarms on it and I like how they've called immediately to make sure that everything was okay. We've always lived 40 miles out of town away from everybody on a big ranch. So it was kind of nerve-racking moving into a city, but it's just been great. It's relieving to know that I'm safe and secure whether I'm away from home or at home. I really enjoy it. I'm so glad we went with them and I have recommended them.

Installing the Frontpoint security system was easy except one of the sensors fell off the wall but they sent me more double-sided tape so that fixed it and it's now fine. I use the mobile app all the time and I like the notification of the sensors when they're activated.

We've had ADT over the years, but we like Frontpoint and have had them for just under a year. It was very easy to install the device and their reps are extremely patient and knowledgeable. They're right there if I have any questions. They were off the chart. They were friendly and great to work with. The system's interactive feature works fine and it's much better than the old way of not having that option. The device helps us feel safer, but it's kind of iffy because it's based on the geography and I don't care what they have in New Mexico. Other than that, Frontpoint has been educational and they believe or back up what they say they offer. They are easy to deal with.

Our previous system was really old and it kept going up in price so I changed. Frontpoint has been good overall. It was easy to set up, and every time I called customer service, it's been nice. I like that we can turn the system on and off using the phone app. I would recommend Frontpoint.

It was a little difficult to install Frontpoint. I had to order a new sensor that drills into the door, and that set me back a little bit. Also, I had to order more sticky tape because some of the sensors wouldn't hit the magnet on one of the doors. There was too big of a gap, so I had to get one inch of sticky tapes on them. But besides that, it's been good so far, and I feel more safe.

I did the installation all by myself and it was very easy. I have Frontpoint for a year now. I need to contact them because of a glitch in the control panel, but otherwise, I’ve been very happy. The remote access is a nice convenience if you forget to set the alarm when you leave the house. I feel safer.

I'm much happier with Frontpoint than I was with Vivint. It took me about 15 minutes to install the Frontpoint sensors and get it set up. Everything is working and has done what they told me it would do. Moreover, everybody I've dealt with at Frontpoint have all been great and helpful. They've all been very friendly, professional, and answered all my questions very well. The feature of arming and disarming using the smartphone is great and comes in handy. I feel safer for my family and my home since the installation. I'm very satisfied and I'd highly recommend Frontpoint.

Frontpoint was a referral from a friend. The initial interaction I had with them was professional and they provided a lot of information upfront which was beneficial for me to make a decision. They were easy to work with. Installing their device was also pretty straightforward - it took me 10 minutes to do it. I do use their app too to disarm the system. It is great and continues to consider looking into the camera technology. When I arm the device at night, I go to bed having a reassurance that the house is protected.

I switched from AT&T to Frontpoint a year ago and I like it a whole lot better. It’s cheaper. AT&T kept going up on my rate and I wasn’t getting much for my money, so I went away from them. Frontpoint's people has been easy to deal with. I had a problem with one of the sensors and they fixed it - no problem. The feature where I can control the system from my smartphone is nice and convenient - I can cut off the alarm off and have my mom or dad come in and out of the house.

It has been a year now since I've had Frontpoint as my home security provider. However, the system's front panel console needs to be reset every now and then because when the door or the window is being opened, the system does not go off. But other than that, I haven’t had any issues with it. The video camera I had was okay. It’s there for the purpose of what I need it to do. In fact, I use their app as far as my video when I’m at work and now if I see that the door was ajar. I can see who actually comes in the house through the actual camera. That’s helpful but we really need to use it a lot more because of the service that we’re paying for. But with kids in the house, it’s a little challenging and we don’t want to set off any kind of false alarms because those will charge us. Moreover, their reps were friendly and knowledgeable. I am pleased with it for now.

Frontpoint has an excellent pricing, and their response has been good whenever we have any issues. We've been really happy with our security alarm system and it was extremely simple to install. The app is also really good, and it's how we check our system. We also have a housekeeper who comes so we can set the alarm whenever she gets done and start it off. It works well.

Frontpoint definitely puts me at ease. I have a four year old and the door sensors with the chime were absolutely great. If I hear the door opening and it's not me or my wife, I'd immediately know when the kids are trying to get out the front or back door so it's super useful. 90% of the time I arm and disarm it with the smartphone and it's awesome. There are times that I forget and I'm already on the road so I just pull over then arm it and it's good to go. Their team was friendly, extremely helpful, and courteous. It's been an excellent experience and I have no regrets on getting the Frontpoint system.

It was very easy setting up Frontpoint. They have great customer service too. I use the arming and disarming feature using my phone every time I leave or come back to my house. Frontpoint is much better compared to the previous providers that I had. With the two previous alarm companies that I used, if we accidentally set the alarm off, we get a call from them or the police comes to the house. But with Frontpoint, it gives us an opportunity to shut the alarm off before any accident takes place. I really like that. Also, I like their price and installation was simple to do, too.

My husband travels a lot and I got Frontpoint because he said, "Well, if something happens, right?" So sometimes when I get anxious, I'll turn the system on. Also, when we're out of town, I use it to check how the dog sitters are doing when they're coming in and out of the house. My experience with Frontpoint has been great. They are very friendly and very patient. I don't use the system that often but it's wonderful knowing that I can use it if I need to.

Everything's been great with Frontpoint and we've even recommended it to others. The device was way easier to install than I thought it would be. I've had them for about a year and every time I call, if I have an adjustment to make or added another sensor and we need to test and activate it, they've always been super fast to pick up the phone. And if they say they're going to look into something and get back to me, within half hour they got back to me. They're also super helpful, pleasant and easy to work with and I wasn't expecting that type of turnaround. I also learned how to use the interactive features in one second and use them regularly. Now I feel much more secure especially with being able to lock it remotely from a different place in case I forget.

I really like Frontpoint. It is certainly convenient and a bit more modern and it's nice that we can bring the system when we move. In fact, I just moved and I'm bringing it with me to my new house. I like the fact that I can give them my phone and I can send access to someone else. Installing their device was easy. I called for instructions and their customer service was really helpful. Furthermore, their interactive feature is great. While I'm driving home or if I'm having someone come over, I can disarm it before I get there. Since we've had this system, I feel safe. We can see whenever someone comes and goes.

We're completely happy with our Frontpoint system. I had put it myself. I picked out what I wanted then selected where I'm going to put the sensors. It was done upfront and simple and self-monitored. We use the phone application quite a bit and it makes a lot easier controlling the system and more secure, with the fact that we can be halfway around the world and still deal with it – a very good feature of the system. The county sheriff shows up on time also whenever I goofed up. It's easy to maintain and not only a good call, but it's geared to what we need and want. It lets my wife be secure if I'm not at home. I'm ex-military so I took care of protecting my family and this system helps me to be retired and still do it.

Frontpoint's team is very friendly and their device was very easy to install. However, we’ve been having problems with it for six months now. We have it in our house in Sheridan, Wyoming, and we had problems when we were in Vegas. The panel just failed and quit. We’ve had it for not even a year and it quit when we were gone, so it didn’t do us much good. We were going to try all the interactive features while we were in Vegas. But we do have a smartphone, and it is on there and shows that it’s disarmed. So we knew it had quit working when we were in Vegas and then we called them. I spoke with a representative and he said there’s a software update for that panel that he’ll try. But they took the charges off for the past months after the panel quit working.
Please accept our sincerest apology for any inconveniences you experienced in regards to your Touch Screen Control Panel. We are, however, happy to see that one of our Support Supervisors was able to address all of your concerns. The Frontpoint security device is doing what we bought it for. I didn't think we need it but my wife did and she feels very comfortable with it. Its installation went pretty well. At first they had to tell me that they didn't need to come out, just on the phone and it worked out fine. But I think there is a problem when the room is dark and the security device is on. We once got a call and it was because the alarm went off and we couldn’t see in the dark to turn it off. The keys weren't lit and the disarm button isn't on when the security device is set. We couldn't figure it out and we were pushing the wrong button. So if somebody is not familiar or in a hurry, a little panicked and in the dark, they can't tell where the disarm button is. I think what needs to be done is to light the disarm button with a different color.

We got the Frontpoint system for my teenage daughter, and installing their security device was very straightforward and easy. It came in a box, and when we opened it, I can already figure it out from there. Their team was very friendly. I called and emailed them a couple of times and they responded immediately. I went on the hunt for a security system because we had our camper broken into and it had our home address and also everything in it was stolen. I got Frontpoint and I installed the system myself. All I did was call the people at Frontpoint and see if everything was registering. I had one that didn’t register and they had to reprogram it over the phone and it's been fine ever since. I've also got the motion and the door monitors. If I have a problem with my system, the people at Frontpoint talk me through it and everything is handled really quick.
The only problem that I got into was when one of the buttons was stuck and it went off and I couldn’t clear it. Four people from Frontpoint called me on two different phones and a policeman was at the door, so it definitely works. They talked me through it and told me how to reset it, so it's pretty quick. I've got the app on my Kindle Fire where I can take it with me and set the alarm and disarm it when I come back in the house and all that. Because there have been a lot of break-ins, having Frontpoint definitely eased my mind. I love Frontpoint.

It's been a year since we've had Frontpoint. It's the only security system we've ever had, and it was relatively easy setting it up. Everything was pleasant with their staff, and there have been no problems. We use the cell phone app too and it all works fine. It's what I expected in this time and age. But it is disappointing that they have a contract. Other than that, everything has gone smoothly so far.

I'm a Frontpoint user and I've had it for a year now. It was easy to install their device but there were people who broke into the house through the window while I had the system and I didn't find out until two or three days later. They threw everything outside. I wasn't happy with the fact that people broke in and that wasn't communicated. They do calls because there was an alarm system but the company itself didn't notify me.

I've been with Frontpoint for about a year now. Installing their device was simple. However, I was supposed to receive a motion detector but received a CO detector instead. I called and they sent me out a motion detector and I had to send back the CO detector. I use their interactive features primarily from my smartphone. It's very convenient and I like it.

The Frontpoint team has been very helpful and prompt to answer. I use the interactive features of the Frontpoint system quite frequently and it's great. It's good for this house because it's a vacation house so we're not there all the time. We can check and make sure that the alarm is still armed and no one has gotten into the property, so it makes me feel more secure. It’s also easily expandable. Since it’s wireless, I can add contact points if I decide to in the future.

We've had Frontpoint as our security provider for a little over a year now, and it's far better than our previous one. It was easy installing the device. In fact, I did it myself and it was easy getting with it to make sure everything was set. Any time I've had a problem, Frontpoint's team members have always been able to help me through it really fast, so it's been pretty pleasant dealing with them. The phone feature also makes it a lot easier for me to disarm the alarm. Eventually, I'll probably think about getting it for my house too. I'm happy with the service and I usually try to recommend it.

We contacted Frontpoint in July 2015 to inquire about setting up an alarm system for a house my daughter was renting for a one year out of town job. We knew she would only be there for one-year maximum but maybe less. When we called Frontpoint and spoke with a representative we told him we did not want a contract as she would only be there for a year at the most. He told us if we paid upfront for the equipment and installed it ourselves we would not have to sign a contract and could go month to month as long as we paid with a credit card. He asked for an electronic signature from us as "new customers" which my husband provided. It was not attached to any documents. We paid upfront for the equipment and provided the credit card information.
My daughter's job ended before the year was out and she called Frontpoint on 04/03/2016 to cancel the service as she had moved from the location. She spoke with a representative who sent her a confirmation email a few minutes later. My daughter was never told by the representative that she would have to send in a written notice, (we have the email) Frontpoint billed our credit card on April 4 2016, then on April 9 2016 they refunded the payment as we had cancelled the service on April 3, 2016. Then on May 2, 2016 they again charged our credit card. We called them on 05/02/2016 and they now told us we had a three-year contract and would have to pay for the next three years.
We spoke with several different representatives. They denied that my daughter had called them (we have the email from their representative) to cancel the service. Yet they acknowledged that they had refunded our April charge. On 05//02/2016 they emailed us a 13-page document showed a three-year contract and electronic signature and initials from my husband that he did not sign. We believe the salesman who we spoke to and asked for an electronic signature for new customers filled in this contract without our knowledge. There is NO WAY we would have agreed to a three-year contract when our daughter was only going to be there for a year at the most. We called several alarm companies because we wanted a NO contract service and would not have gone with Frontpoint if a contract was required! Do Not give this company your electronic signature.

I have used Frontpoint for a few months now to this building where we just recently moved for our business and I have it in my house also. Installation was really easy and quick. We did our set up and the guy that helped us out on the phone was really helpful and easy to get a hold of. We use their interactive features at the house and the business and I find it really easy. I don’t even have to get out of bed to set up the house. With this system, it makes us feel a lot safer.

Our experience with Frontpoint has been good. Installing their system was simple and their reps were very helpful when I made a call. I find it awesome that I can use my phone to know when people are going in and out of my door. It's a great system and I feel much more secure after having it.

It was very simple installing the Frontpoint security device, except for the magnet sponge that stick to my doorway was not wide enough, so Frontpoint had to send me a thicker one. I feel safer having the system and I'm at ease especially when I'm gone. It was an excellent experience and I'm very pleased. I'd recommend it.

So far our experience with Frontpoint has been good. Initially, it took a while to figure out on how to install the device but we had somebody help us. Their reps also handled everything whenever we call if anything was wrong and we had questions on things that we didn't understand. However, it would be very good if an outside alarm was connected to the system to call other people's attention and not just to get it to the police station. We don't just want to hear somebody coming in. We want others to hear it too and scare away other people who are coming in. I think this is a very important feature in any alarm systems. Just like with cars, when the car starts whooping, everybody's looking around. I'm passing it on as a feature that might get them more customers because I'm sure I'm not the only one who would think that it's a good idea. The alarm system psychologically gives a little more sense of security.

We had some neighbors that aren't too far from here that got broken into, which was why we went with a security system. We’ve been happy with Frontpoint. Installing their system wasn’t difficult at all. We just put the sensors wherever we want. Then we set up the control panel, give them a call, and they test it out. And what’s nice about the system is it’s got a smoke alarm, so they can call the fire department or the police. Their team was great and answered all our questions. I had a problem with one of the sensors and they shipped another one out to us. Their arming and disarming app on my phone is also pretty simple to use.

Years ago, I had a different home security provider but I like Frontpoint much better. It was very simple to install. The Frontpoint team was very helpful. I've had to call a few times with questions when I had to remove my motion detector from one area to another and they assisted me with that over the phone. There was also a couple of times where some contractors had to come into the home and I had not disarmed the system, but Frontpoint were very prompt in calling and sending emails to let me know that the home had been entered. I always arm and disarm the alarm from my cell phone which I like. It's also really convenient when my boyfriend comes into the house and forgets the code. He would then tell me to disarm it and I do it really quickly for him.

Installing the Frontpoint security device was super easy – you just peel and stick. Their mobile app was very convenient too. I was in New York when the alarm went off once, but I was able to turn it off using my phone. It works because the times that there’s been an issue, I get a call immediately and that’s reassuring. I feel safer knowing that the alarm is on at night or when I leave the house. I was thinking about getting more system for extra windows and more little alarms. Frontpoint have a trustworthy product and everyone that I spoke with from their company answered my questions.

Everything has been fantastic with Frontpoint - awesome response time and personal customer service. It has been over a year since we have them and heir customer service was great. It was basically self-installed, but they were there with detailed instructions. I did it myself within ten minutes and it was flawless. The reps are professional, courteous and know their job.

The Frontpoint team was very friendly, courteous and thorough. They respond to any questions I’ve had. When we actually had a couple of smoke or heat related issues, the response from the alarm going off to actual response to calling me were only in seconds. Being able to turn functions on and off through the application is convenient. It's very user-friendly and an easy process. Having used their security device for about a year now, I feel safer.

I was told by my insurance company that I had to have the fire alarm system hooked up. So I got my fire alarm system, a CPO detector and a security system for the house from Frontpoint. It was easy to install the device and the mobile app works. However, I find the system tedious because I have some young adults who come and go as they please and it gets too complicated putting it on and making sure they know their codes. So generally, the entry point system is not on. And the major control panel has to be near the entry door and has to have an outlet that doesn't get turned off. It was a little bit tricky trying to find one that worked correctly for that purpose and that was in the right location. Since I've got them almost a year ago, I've checked around a little and I think you can find the same type of services for less. But, it's perfectly satisfactory.

We had ADT before Frontpoint, and we're thinking about going back. Our little wireless box has locked up on us, and I've had to swap it out. I've had to reset it a million times. Our sensors all go to malfunction mode constantly. I talked to Frontpoint, and they claimed they do something but it's the same thing every month. We can pay less right now for ADT a month and not have to worry about this because we didn't have to worry about it before. They've already called us and tried to offer us less than what we're paying, to go back to them with the same equipment.
We're tired of how we try to do something every time. We get a message sent to us constantly that the garage door is malfunctioning. Or when I'm at work, our phones go off and tell us that the backdoor, the back bedroom window or the motion detector is malfunctioning. It hasn't been a pleasant experience. We can't trust the system as it goes down constantly. ADT told us point blank that wireless is kind of a dupe. It didn't really work half the time, and we're finding that out. I'm not pleased at all with Frontpoint.

I was looking for the best home security on the internet and it pointed me to Frontpoint. I have been using them now for a year now and so far so good. Installing the devices was pretty easy. I called one time and they walked me through and everything is fine. They're very helpful and they know what they are talking about. I always use my phone for Frontpoint's interactive features such as arming and disarming my house and it's good. I feel safe with Frontpoint.

We installed the Frontpoint system on our own and put the sensors by the doors. After we've put all of them up, we called their team and tested it. The Frontpoint people were very nice. Having the device is better because when we leave the house and someone breaks in, I know it's gonna alarm. I feel a little secure, though at the same time, there's that "what if it doesn't work?" feeling. But so far, it's been working really good.

My husband travels a lot, so I'd be home a lot along with the kids. We live on a golf course, and by having Frontpoint, I absolutely feel much safer. I love having it and it makes me sleep better at night. Installing it was a great experience because it was really easy. When we had a question, we called their 1-800 number, and they were very helpful. It was overall great customer service. I also use their app a lot, and it's great. If I had to leave the house and I forgot to turn my alarm on, I just get on the phone and just click them. Overall, my experience was very good.

Frontpoint is a very simple system and their people are easy to get along with. During installation, their team walked me through over the phone and it was really easy. I've been very pleased with them. They're very reasonable and responsive. They have also notified me one time that I needed to change some equipment which is very good. Then, they got the new parts out here right away and got it taken care of - very efficient. When we're away, it's nice to know that there's a security system that works. I like Frontpoint enough that I've recommended them to some of my customers and they have been very pleased as well.

My neighbor had a Frontpoint security system. I went over to his place and he showed me how his system works. So I said that I should buy one because we live out in a pretty remote area. We got it last year. The price was pretty good. We have four things armed, three outside and one inside the house. I've got three sheds outside and I've got them all armed when we leave.
We had no problems in installing the system. They sent us the parts and told me what to do, and we did it. Everything works great. Our alarms never went off, but when we check them, it would go off if we were home. The Frontpoint team were very helpful. We have two gates in front of our property and they only sent one sign, so I put one on the inside and then I didn't have any on the gate, so I asked them if I could have two more signs and they sent me two more. That was pretty nice so I was ready to pay for them but they said, "No. Usually we do charge for them but since you're a new customer, we'll just go ahead and send you two of them," and so they did.
When we go to town, we have to drive into Phoenix and our system is usually armed right before we leave and when we come back home, it is disarmed half a mile from the house. It works good and it's a little safer if we ever needed it, and we're really happy with it. We feel a lot safer but our property is a lot safer also because when I'm home, I have my own way of protecting our home, but we take off in the summer and go north, so we're not home from two to four months of the year. If we get no phone calls, we know everything is okay. So far, nobody has broken in yet.
We know that the system works because our neighbor had a friend of his staying on his property, and he told him before he left not to open the doors, but his friend forgot and turned around, and a few minutes later the cops were standing there. But in the meantime, the owner had called back and disarmed the system, and then he talked to the police. What'll work there is going to work here.

I've had another home security provider before and compared to Frontpoint, the basics are the same. However, I do like that Frontpoint sends a monthly email which I think is good, so that's a plus. They try to stay in touch with us instead of just leaving us until when something might go wrong. Also, installing the device wasn't any hassle at all and that's the best thing. The first gentleman we spoke with was very patient and nice. When we first started looking for information, we didn't get it right away but he stayed in touch with us and he wasn't too pushy. So far, the alarm has gone off twice and they called. With this new system, we will feel confident while we're away from home. We liked them better than ADT because it is wireless and we don't have to worry about when the electricity goes off. And since we live in the country, we were able to get rid of our phone lines and it started saving us some money.

It was pretty easy to install our Frontpoint security device. But I’ve got one sensor in my garage that has gone off when it is not opened. It's done this six times over the course of a year, and it’s a hit-and-miss. I’ve called Frontpoint repeatedly and asked them to replace the sensor and they will not do it until I call and try to troubleshoot it with them on the phone. I wish they would stop wasting my time and send me a new sensor.
