    The Frontpoint staff members were very helpful when I installed the security device. My only suggestion would be that the magnets that got put up there for the intrusion could be better marked. The arrows should be made more prominent - maybe have the arrows facing arrows and then we'll know it's installed correctly. That would've saved a ton of time. Also, it's a rough expense every month so I don't want anything additional. But with the system, it's good to know if someone's trying to break in even if we don't use it that much. The app is nice and very convenient to use as well.

    I have two dogs here and it's hard to have people come over and set up any kind of equipment because I got to put them in a crate, try to keep them calm, and take care of them so they'll not destroy my house when people are in here. With Frontpoint, it was pretty self-explanatory to set everything up. The online information is very easy to follow. Even if I don't have to physically pick up the phone and call, I can go online and it tells me enough there to know what to do and figure things out. The system is easy to use. Plus, their interactive features is nice, simple to do, and very convenient.

    Two years ago, we had a big thing and where I live, we had about four homes broken in around me, where intruders were kicking in the backdoor and coming in the house. I have double security - I have dogs and a security system, so most of the time, they're going to leave my house alone, but the intruders still scared me and made me nervous. Thank God, since then there hasn't been much action in terms of that way. Down the road, I'm eventually going to trade out and get the better box inside. I'm very happy with Frontpoint. Plus, the price was right. I could go cheaper, but I'm going to lose the ability to set up easily. I pay for convenience - it's worth the money.

    A friend of mine told me about Frontpoint. He and his son had it. Then there was a break-in at my neighborhood and I thought I should get a security system. So I went and arranged for Frontpoint and it's been over a year since I started with them. I got two sensors in the main front of the house and the door sensors. Installing it was very simple and easy because I'm tech-challenged but I was able to do it all. The guy on the phone was awesome and walked me through it. He was also friendly and didn't yell at me. I've set it off by myself accidentally so I know it works. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it. However, I never got a door sign. I got the thing that sticks to the ground but I never got the sign. I called them about it but I didn't follow up on the procedure I had to do to get it.

    Somebody tried to break into our house up in Maryland. They did not get in, but while the police were there doing fingerprints outside, I was on the site and looking for the best security system. Frontpoint security system came up as top notch. I ordered everything right there and then. It was very simple to put in. The main box shows us what was being opened at a time. It was excellent.

    Then, when we listed our house to sell, an agent showed up one day without letting us know. They tried to get in and the alarms went off. The security company was calling me at work and sending me text messages and they called the police. I had them shut the alarm off and my husband took care of the police. Everything went as it was supposed to and I was happy with that even though it's embarrassing for the agent and the prospective buyers. At one point, the system wasn’t showing one of the windows. My husband called and the rep said it was a little wiring problem. He walked my husband through the main box and it was working fine after that.

    Being able to turn the system on or off or check it from my phone is wonderful and very convenient. I would turn the alarm on before we leave for our three-mile walk and when we are a block from the house on our way back, I would take my phone out and turn it off. But sometimes it would get glitchy. I work about 10 miles from work and I could turn it off from there but sometimes if there will be a block from my house for some reason it would turn off right away. Other than that, I'm very pleased with Frontpoint and have every intention of keeping it even though we've moved down to Florida. As soon as we get these new windows and sliders installed, the security system will be hooked up and we'll call them and reset everything for down here. We've been very satisfied with them.

    I feel completely secured with Frontpoint. Their reps have all been very pleasant, easy to talk with and they settled any concerns that I had. They're doing a really good job. I like to on a monthly basis fumigate my home because of my phobia with bugs and germs so twice I've set off the alarm after I've left the house and had them call me and we fixed the situation. I feel very confident that they're on the job and doing what I'm paying them for. Recently, I have had trouble with my phone, but I don’t know if it's my phone or the service. I used to be able to arm it via my phone and I've not had good luck in the last couple of attempts. The camera is exactly what they told me it would be. It's not one of the top ones on the market, but it's satisfactory.

    A friend of mine in the neighborhood has Frontpoint and recommended them. They are also quite well-reviewed online so I got them. I don't know if I'm a pretty handy, technically apt person but I found the installation challenging. The customer service folks are great, positive, helpful and patient. They've always been very pleasant and prompt. I have been particularly pleased and I appreciate that I'm transferred around. However, they aren't most intuitive. I wish that the customer service reps would ask more probing questions when it comes to the way the system can be used particularly the eMpower suite, the lighting stuff and alternate uses for motion sensors.

    I also wish that our main panel doesn't crap out every couple of months for unknown reasons. We've had a couple of components fail on us over the last year and so we've been through the installation process a couple of times. Frontpoint is attentive and very helpful in sending replacements incredibly promptly. We're just hoping that third time is the charm. I am a little concerned that it keeps happening and I wish that it was something specific like hardware durability or compatibility.

    I regularly use the interactive features of the device. It's awesome. I don't use the IQ Panel. I do almost everything from the mobile device and I have used some more settings through the web app. I love it. I don't think I would enjoy using Frontpoint as much as I have if it didn't have the app and if the app wasn't so user-friendly. Since the installation of the security device, I feel a lot better about our home security. I would recommend Frontpoint.

    I did research online and Frontpoint came up as the number one company. It’s been a year now and the experience with them has been nothing but positive. It was very easy to walk through with instructions during installation. I also had no issues with the Frontpoint team. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I use the interactive features everyday. It's amazing because my children or I would always forget about the system. It sends me a reminder and I arm or disarm it from my phone. The door sensor was hard to get it to work at first though. The doorframe has molding so it was at a weird angle. But it's a bit more stable and secure now.

    Frontpoint helped me through the setup. The good part of having it is that we know it's there if we need to activate it. However, we haven't been activating it very often. It's not part of our daily routine so it's a bit of a waste. I also didn't appreciate that the contract was locked in so that was a little disappointing. We're looking to change during the next few weeks. It's no fault of the service though, it's on us.

    We've moved into the house in December of 2014 and wanted an alarm system. It was really easy to install the Frontpoint system but we've had issues with the panels as they started acting weird. The sensors will go offline and then sometimes need to be restarted where I have to take all the batteries apart and unscrew some things. We've had about four different panels sent to us over time, but their customer service has been very helpful. They did run through some testing if need be but were quick to send me a new panel.

    Their app is great as well though I'd like a panic button on the app. We only have one panel and if it was in the kitchen for example and I need to use the panic button, I can't really press it from my bedroom. Also, I hope they can add more sensors for windows and doors as there's a limit on how many we can add. And the front door sensor will go offline if something is blocking it or if it's too far away so if they had a longer range for the sensors in the panel, that would be helpful.

    Frontpoint doesn't give all the information about installing the panel prior to ordering it so when it arrived it was a little more complicated than what was expected but I'm pretty decent with tools, so the installation wasn't too bad. The reps were helpful as long as you were using the stuff they sent. A lot of the things they advertised that you can use with the system you have to get aftermarket. And when you start adding aftermarket stuff, that's where the system starts to lose points. But the interactive features are very good. The system works very well. I use it on my mobile phone probably more than anything else. I had a very good system with another provider before but Frontpoint is a quality system for less. The monitoring is cheaper per month.

    I used Becker Security before however, I prefer Frontpoint's flexibility. It took a bit of time to install their system because there were quite a few entry points but it was not difficult at all. I was able to talk to their rep to get a different front door sensor. The distance between the front door and the home base was too great for the sensor that it came with. It was then sent and installed. I also like Frontpoint's ability to set and unset the system when needed and that’s my favorite feature. I always have my phone and I always need to check my everyday settings. So if I’d forgotten to set the alarm or if I left the house and thought I’d be back sooner than later, I set it.

    I did extensive research and came across Frontpoint. Installation was simple and straightforward. We had the touchscreen pad, which is great, and we put the security tabs on the doors. We also added one recently to our garage. The app makes it much easier because if I'm sitting in my car and I forgot to turn the alarm on, I can do it on my phone, as opposed to running in the home and doing it. It's been great.

    Their team has been very helpful and easy to talk with. When we were installing it, they had told us to register it with our county or our city to let them know that we have an alarm system. They told us the first one has probably no charge, but after that we have to be cautious. We've been very pleased and relaxed knowing that Frontpoint can call us. It alerts them instead of us having to look at it on our phone. We also got the life alert and use it for the upstairs. If I'm upstairs and home alone, I can use that. The guy set it up too, which was so nice. He set it up to call the police, so when I click it, it alerts the police instead of the ambulance system.

    I had used Protection 1 before for our home security and I like Frontpoint better especially from the standpoint of being able to install it myself and add things to it. Also, it's more involved than the previous. What I had was just a monitoring system that had some hired-wired smoke detectors, but Frontpoint has got everything. I get the locks, cameras and the fire detectors everywhere. It has a lot more features and my kids can do it from their apps so I know when they’re home. I also got it setup so if my wife leaves and forgets to set the alarm, it reminds her. Another one was, I got a call from Frontpoint when I was in Barcelona that there was a fire and my mother-in-law was there. I was able to shut it down so I use the system pretty much full to the hill.

    Their team has been nothing but great when I called to add cameras and locks. Usually when I call them and I add the first one, then I can do it myself afterwards. I’ve also had plenty of false alarms - kids opening stuff in the middle of the night. I did have one false fire alarm because my kid was cooking a grilled cheese. They’ve been very helpful and the police were dispatched properly. I've recommended Frontpoint to quite a few other people.

    The installation of our Frontpoint security device was very easy. I didn’t install it properly at first, and one tape was a little loose so they sent another piece. The reps were very friendly and patient in explaining everything. There were a few cases when the alarms went off and they got on the phone very promptly. One time, the smoke alarm went off, and I wasn't able to answer the phone so they had the fire brigade dispatched immediately. We use the app all the time to arm and disarm the system. It’s a great advantage, and very user-friendly and convenient. In fact, it is so easy to manage the system through the app. I was a new homeowner so it was very important to get the security device in place. It’s a good product, although expensive. I’m in a relatively safe area, so $45 per month is a lot and it’s a three-year contract as well. Other than that, I’m very happy with them so far.

    I checked for top-rated systems online and Frontpoint was one of them. So far, I'm satisfied with their service though I had less issues with my previous security system. As soon as I got the Frontpoint device, it didn't work right so they had to send another one. Frontpoint needs to inspect their product a lot more. When putting the sensors on metal window frames, they're not working properly. Their poeple need to research and develop a better sensor. I still have sensors that bypass every time because I've had time to fool with them. Then, my wife said she couldn't put the code number in the touchpad and shut the alarm off. But installing the device was easy and their team takes care of me every time I have an issue. Their app works fine as well though they could add a couple of features, like changing or adding the code from the app. Overall, I worry less since having the system.

    I had a communication issue with the intiial Frontpoint salesperson. He didn’t send what they said, but I found someone who helped me. As I went past that salesperson to the next level, I had a great experience and got a lot of support. We have a home in Florida and we've used other systems there. Then, we decided to put Frontpoint in our house here in Virginia. Both systems allow me to watch my home on my cell phone when we're not there. It's hard to get a security company come in and install something here but Frontpoint is the easiest system to install and it's for someone who lives in a rural area and doesn’t have a local installer.

    I love the fact that I can watch my home when we're not here. The internet-based security system antenna is wonderful and they're able to adjust our thermostat. For the most part, the only problem I've had is not with Frontpoint but the internet service. We've got to have enough feed and upload capability in order to do what the security systems needs to do.

    We wanted something that was really secure at home but were still not really satisfied with the home security provider we had then so we got Frontpoint. We installed it ourselves. We just went by the directions. One time when the alarm went off, we didn't get to cut if off in time for them so they called to see what the problem was and to see if everything was okay.

    The service that Frontpoint provides is the exact type of service I was looking for, including the self-installation, the network capable cellular but still connected to a central alarm facility. We’ve been using it for about a year now and it’s pretty much done what it’s supposed to do. It’s worked pretty reasonably well. My biggest complaint is the response time for the one time when we needed it. The response time from our local police has been slow. But I don’t think that was due to Frontpoint. I think it’s been fairly easy to use since that happened.

    Also, Alarm.com is still not partnering with IFTTT in a way that makes it really usable in home automation. That would be a simple thing that Alarm.com has got to do or Frontpoint has to find another service provider so that we can connect with IFTTT. There are some workarounds but not good ones to make that work. They need IFTTT integration. Other than that, I’ve recommended Frontpoint to other people.

    It was very easy to install Frontpoint. They had good instructions but then I called to get everything synced and connected to make sure everything was functioning. It was really straightforward. Customer service is something that they really pride themselves on and they are totally accurate in their representation of it. The reps were very helpful, friendly, and accessible. I call them a lot for different things. If I need to change a setting on a certain alarm component or something's not working, they are very responsive to try to troubleshoot and then send a new component if needed.

    For any changes or issues, l usually email and they call me back right away. It's been a very positive experience. Frontpoint definitely makes me feel more secure and comfortable leaving the house.     Frontpoint is like a one-stop shop. You don’t need to be bothered with them too much and that’s exactly what I wanted. They sent me the package. I installed it and was a seamless, painless, simple, and quick process. Once you get everything done, you just call them to activate and they do so then you're good to go. I then wanted to change some of the configurations based on opening door and closing sensors. I called their customer service and asked a couple of questions and they answered it. I also tried their interactive features in which they set you up with a higher tiered account when you initially install the system and then you have a certain amount of time to check that out and then you can downgrade. I didn’t think it was worth the money and I downgraded it. Since I've had the system, I'm comfortable with my security. I get what I paid for.

    I did some research online and Frontpoint came up as one of the better ones do-it-yourself type of online home security system. I got it primarily because we go out of town a lot. I leave for weekends and when I'm not around, I get notified on my cellphone if somebody either activates or deactivates it. I got caregivers who take care of my only daughter. I can keep track of who's doing what and when they actually show up, so it's nice. It's simple to use and that's what I like about it. The system does what it should be doing.     Frontpoint was one of the more affordable security providers and I've been using it for six months or more. It was easy setting the system up and any interaction that I had with their staff was great. As far as the initial setup and things like that, it was good. They sent me out more of the sticky strip, which was totally fine. I arm and disarm the system using their app, but oftentimes, there’s someone at my home so I don’t arm it as often as most people. The only complaint that I have would be that the sign in the front yard didn’t last long. It wasn’t very sturdy and now it’s demolished. I don’t have anything displayed that I have a security system other than the stickers on the windows. I’ve had some stuff stolen from my home and had a break-in before, so now with Frontpoint, I'm at ease leaving the home with the alarm in place.

    Frontpoint's generally pretty good. Installing the device was much easier than I anticipated. When I was trying to find out how to disconnect and reconnect it, I talked to customer service about what to do in a false alarm and with trying to hook up those “geosensors” for the lights and they were very helpful. They were also great and I didn’t have to call about where would I put it. I had it in my old house then I moved it to the new house that I’m in where I’m doing electrical work and so I was also able to switch it from one house to the other very easily, just un-stick it then re-stick it and the system picks it up no matter where I set it.

    I’ve added three extra door sensors and then I've also added the light adjusters; it’ll turn the lights on and off. And I haven’t yet been able to connect the system up yet. I’ve also had it disconnected for the past two months because of electrical wiring I've had to do in the house and so I haven’t been able to plug it in anywhere. But up until that point, it’s worked well.

    I also like that I know everything is connected and working with their interactive feature. In the very beginning when I checked on the phone, it said that a door was open before I left the house. I went back and realized that I placed the sensors too far apart so they weren’t connecting, and I had to reconnect them. Once that got settled, it worked really well. Also, when I have gone grocery shopping, I turned on my phone before I left the grocery store and unlocked the doors because I knew my hands would be full coming back to the house. The last thing I needed to do was try and turn off the alarm system when I walked in with my arms filled with grocery. I definitely feel more secure with Frontpoint, it’s reassuring. I've talked to other people and for asking somebody else to use Frontpoint, I've gotten two months of free rental or something. So I find it’s a very effective system.

    We liked that Frontpoint had pretty good reviews. Installing it was easy and the instructions were good. Their reps were also very helpful. However, the only thing I dislike is their panel which is really big and bulky, and it's not as responsive.     The installation of the Frontpoint device was pretty simple, just sticking the sensors on the doors, windows, and then the motion sensor could be placed anywhere around the house. It came with the sticky tapes that we get to stick on the wall for the motion sensor specifically, and that didn’t stick. We ended up putting them on shelves so that if someone walks by the shelf, it can be picked up by the motion sensor. Their team has been very helpful for the most part. If one of the sensors isn’t working, they’ll walk us through the steps to make sure it gets stuck online. It's nice using the cellphone to turn the system on if we forget to do it after leaving the house. Knowing that we would be alerted definitely gave us a sense of security. The only thing that I don't like is that we are not using it as much anymore so I wanted to cancel recently in order to save cost, and I wasn’t aware that I was under a three-year contract. Other than that, everything has been fine.

    Frontpoint is a lot better compared to ADT which I used at our previous house. I like its features a lot better. I like its cellular connection and that it’s wireless. However, the camera is a little bit iffy because sometimes it goes offline. That's my biggest complaint. But since I’ve traded out the camera, it’s gotten better and it’s working most of the time now. I also use its interactive features which I didn’t have with ADT before. I like this new technology. I feel good to arm and disarm remotely. Frontpoint's reps were extremely helpful whenever I needed some guidance on setting the camera or if I had any problems with it. We have less worries now and we always have it on when we’re here at night and while we’re gone.

    I have used Frontpoint for about a year now. TI called their team was when I was setting up the system, just to make sure all the monitors were working properly. I use their app to monitor my elderly mom who lives right down the street from me so I know what’s going on at her house 24 hours a day. However, the system has a delay in alerting me. It’s not immediate and sometimes it’s up to three minutes. I want real-time information. But other than that, this system is a big win for me although it's a little expensive compared to others.

    The Frontpoint reps were really friendly and helpful in trying to figure out what was best for my house. The installation of their system was really easy for the most part. There’s a couple of the sensors that didn’t go exactly with how our doors are set up but we figured it out. It wasn’t too bad. Their interactive features are very convenient. Frontpoint makes me feel much better now. One time, our tenant downstairs went crazy when we’re on vacation in December. The alarm system saved our life because we weren’t in the city and they were able to get the fire department and the police.

    Aside from that, just being able to go online and see the history of all of the sensors that were activated and at what time was really helpful to us not being able to go to the house. I get a sense of what happened and when it happened which was very helpful. It saves the history for a day or two. However, sometimes our garage door sensor is finicky. It’ll say it is open or it’s closed when it’s not and it happens fairly regularly. But that’s the only one that has sort of failure. They had us re-position it and it helped a lot. But still sometimes in the house, it will say it’s okay but when we go online, it will say it’s open even though it’s closed.

    Installing Frontpoint was easy. However, I had some issues with the control panel at first. But it got resolved and it works now, although there's still difficulty with it where it doesn't keep the right time, and they were never able to diagnose it. But other than that, it's been pretty good. I use the interactive features all the time and it's great and convenient. It's what you would expect nowadays, to be able to do anything from an app and it's reassuring to know that it's there.

    Most of the people there that I've dealt with on the phone have been knowledgeable. But there was one instance in particular where they weren't helpful. They were supposed to get back to me on changing out my control panel, but they never did. I had to follow up on it. I had some difficulty in the beginning, but generally speaking, I'm happy with it. I would definitely recommend them to a friend, especially if they want to do one of those do-it-on-your-own wireless systems.

    We've had Frontpoint for eight months now. Their device was easy to install and their team has been excellent. Their features are useful but occasionally, we're getting text messages that we don’t think we should get especially false ones. We have it set up that if both of our phones are away without the alarm being set that we should get a text message and very occasionally, we’ll get it when just one phone is away and the other is actually at home. Also, we have a three-year contract and seeing all these things on television of $9.99 or $19.99 monitoring, paying Frontpoint $45 a month for monitoring seems excessive. It would help if the price would go down at renewal but when I looked at a blog, people were complaining that it didn’t go down. But other than that, I think we’re very satisfied with them.

However, the back door sensor had an issue and the rep said it’s only rated for 75ft as far as the radio communication for the system. So it was showing some errors occasionally. Frontpoint sent me out a new one with the longer range right away and I sent the old one back. It's not been a problem since. They were very quick at getting the solution out to me.

    Then, the motion sensor at the back of the warehouse fell off the wall. The double-sided sticky didn’t hold. I got a notification on my phone right away and got a phone call right after that. However, I found out that the City of Fremont will not send out the police unless you confirm there’s somebody in your facility. So what they would do is call a security company in the area to come out to confirm, but I beat them by an hour and I live 28 miles away. If I was getting robbed, half of the place would have been empty by the time they got here. So, that wasn’t a great thing, but it’s not Frontpoint’s fault.

    As of right now, I’ve had no problems with Frontpoint as a company. The system’s working good. It’s always comforting to look on the app and find out if I did set the alarm before I left instead of driving all the way back to work. It's a good feature to have. I look at it occasionally to see if there’s anything that’s going on and I could see that no sensors have been tripped. It gives me peace of mind. The security system works as described and billing has been consistent.

    I'm very happy with Frontpoint. I tried ADT through an independent provider, and they were terrible. We were unhappy with ADT and looked it up online after having it and canceled it because it also had terrible reviews online. We went online again to find the one with the best reviews and Frontpoint happened to be that. When we were getting the system, a specific salesman gave me all the information and helped me with the ordering. He was on top of it the whole time and it made a difference.

    We live in an area that is not the best, and I feel safer since having our security system. I installed the security device myself, and it was easy. I use the app, and it's good as a backup. I prefer using the key chain overall because it's easier to get to than turning your phone on every single time, but if I were to forget the key, it's good to have that. The only thing that I wasn't happy about is the cost to get the extras that I want. I have to buy all of the features such as the windows, doors, and motion sensors separately, so it gets a little expensive. Other than that, everything has been good so far.

    I lived in Georgia where I used to have a contract with Protection Concepts. Then I moved down to Florida intending to sell the Georgia house. I installed Frontpoint in the Florida house because it was portable and it had good reviews. It was really easy to install because whoever lived there previously had the same alarm panel as what I was installing. So it was easy to switch out.

    However, I had to call customer service for a tad of help to make sure I was doing it right and the customer service for Frontpoint has been a 10. I called to tell them that I had used up all the adhesive strips because I had a lot of door alarms and glass breaks. They gladly switched out equipment whenever I needed it because I wasn't quite sure what I would need. One time, I was trying to install the alarm panel after painting and mistakenly crossed some wires so it blew out. I called and asked them what to do about it and they said it was fine and sent me a new one soon after. I also love the app because at night, I would go get in bed and remember that I forgot to set the alarm and I would just do it from my app. Then when I wake up in the morning, a lot of times I would disable it before I got out of bed and go about my day.

    Soon after, I left Florida and took the security system with me. Now it's sitting in a closet and I am going to give it to my daughter whenever she moves into her apartment next month. I call it a hibernation status for the Frontpoint system and because of that, they lowered the price to $10 as a maintenance fee for three months and that's something that's appreciated.

    We have Frontpoint and installing it was easy. I like that I didn’t have to put any holes on the wall and with the adhesive they had, it was easy to stick the sensors wherever I wanted. My wife and I were also looking into getting a camera, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to do it with Frontpoint because the cost for cameras is a lot higher than what I would get through a bundle or another company. Nevertheless, the motion detection alone is worth it. The motion detector picks up the movement and that’ll catch something. I also use the interactive features everyday and it's very convenient and there’s no delay. It also responds quickly when I arm it.     Frontpoint was rated number one among home security system providers on the internet, and they offered the kind of services I was looking for. It was extremely simple, very easy to install the security device, set it up, and get it going. It comes with instructions. I have armed and disarmed the system mostly from my phone and it's very beneficial. On a few occasions I couldn't get a sensor to read correctly, so I called Frontpoint and the reps gave me some instructions on how to fix it.

    However, I have a negative experience with them. I was in a rental home at the time when I bought and set up the system. However, I was forced, through no fault of Frontpoint, to move from that location and temporarily reside at someone else's residence. I asked Frontpoint if they would suspend service until I could get a place of my own again. The best they could do was offer me three months suspension, provided I pay $10 per month during those three months, and then attach the three months on to the end of the contract. In essence saving me nothing and giving me no benefit. I told them I wasn't interested in doing that. If I was forced to continue to pay the contractual amount for the 36 months that it was set up for, I will do that. As soon as those 36 months are up, I would terminate any ongoing use of Frontpoint, whether it was their system and/or monitoring service.

    They did send me a moving box, which is basically a box that has all the smaller boxes for all the pieces and parts to go into, so I was able to store everything in an organized way. That was very helpful and I did appreciate that. But they can clearly see online that I was not arming the system since the day I left because I continuously get text messages every 48 hours telling me that my system hasn't been armed since then. They could have offered a better option for that situation.

    I wasn't asking them to hold my contract for the next 18 months or two years. But I felt like I was put into one of those gym memberships, where to get out of the membership and break your contract, you have to wait so long, and then you've got to email, write letters, and submit documentation. It's crazy and horrible, and that's how I felt I was treated.But overall, I love the service. It does exactly what it says, it's very user-friendly, its online computer stuff is great, and it provides great benefits.

    We've used Frontpoint for nearly a year and it has issues with it. Dealing with their people was fine and the whole process of installation was easy. Also, using my cellphone to arm and disarm is a nice feature. But I just want to get a better handle on how to use the system. There have been a couple of times when the alarm goes off and we don't get a phone call so I’m not sure what the situation is. I’ve been meaning to try it out by putting the alarm on, opening up the doors, and letting the alarms go off then see how long it takes for someone to call. I expect that at least the noise would chase people away when they hear the alarm go off. I really don’t feel safe but unless somebody calls my number or calls the house when the alarm goes off, I’m gonna see what happens. I'm a little disappointed in the service and I got to look into it.

    I had another home security service before and I prefer Frontpoint since the touchpad is a little more updated. Other than that, it's pretty comparable although the customer service has been good. The system was mostly already installed using the equipment from my prior provider so we had to make one or two minor changes and then program the keypad myself which was easy. I had an issue with one of the door contacts, so they sent me a replacement after we tested it and couldn’t get it to work. I also had an issue with the control panel, touchpad and a phone call but we were able to get that fixed. I like that the system is easy to use and very handy. It can be armed and disarmed, checked remotely and it's been a reliable system. I'm confident that we have good protection.

    I ordered this system yesterday, so at the moment I can't comment on ease of installation or features/value. I had a decent experience with the salesperson. He gave me a price I was comfortable with so I made the order. I made it clear I wanted overnight shipping, as I've already had an attempted break-in at the property I'm trying to secure and I need the system in place ASAP. Had this expedited shipping not been available I would not have placed an order. The salesperson assured me that I could contact him directly if there were issues or I had questions. I sent an email to him this morning asking for tracking information, but almost four hours later I have had no response. A follow-up phone call went to voicemail.

    Even more annoying, I just received an automated email with this same salesperson's signature on it trying to sell me again. I don't believe it's an unusual or unreasonable request to ask for tracking information on an expedited shipment. I've heard such great things about Frontpoint that I'm a bit disappointed and I'm also concerned that another night is going to go by without a security system in place.

They called me at: 8:02 AM (didn't answer because I didn't know the number). 8:17 AM (didn't answer). 8:33 AM (answered, said I was interested but asked if I could call back at my convenience). 9:07 AM (didn't answer). 9:37 AM (didn't answer). 10:38 AM (didn't answer). 11:38 AM (answered, told them, "I said I'd call back, this is the 7th call in 3 hours, I will not be doing business with your company" and then I hung up and blocked the number). Unbelievable, even car dealerships don't spam call you this much when you request a quote. I will never use this company based solely on their over aggressive calling strategy.

    Frontpoint installed our security system. I just had to buy the panel but I had to buy a few new sensors to replace previous ones that didn’t activate and it was very easy to set. The system is working very well and it doesn’t have too many issues. I have it on my phone, so I sometimes find it easier to do it outside and on the way (I walk a mile from setting it and it works fine). If I have somebody that I let in to work the house and I don’t want anything to code to, I can set up when they call me and tell me they left.

    When we had ADT in our previous home, we could pay for in-home service. It would be nice if Frontpoint also had that option because I have 11-foot ceilings in my living room and I'm 64, so it's a nuisance to have to climb up and change batteries and check the device, or if I get a new sensor I want installed, etc. It made things easier. But, Frontpoint's team was as helpful as they can be. They guided me through changing the battery for a specific smoke alarm that they provide.     The previous owner of the business was using Frontpoint before I took over and had told me really good feedback about it, so I wanted to try it instead of looking around for something else. So, far I've had a great experience. The communication with the company has been great. A couple of small incidents had happened, like low battery, but they took care of it for us. The only challenge with customer service is that if something happens after hours on the weekends, which I've had before. I was not sure what to do then so I called them, but their phone lines were down as well. Besides that, though, I've had peace of mind since having the system. Also, I'm really happy about the app that I use online. It's fantastic and the best. If anything happens, my employees are set up. Whoever arms or disarms it, I get a message so I know who's coming or leaving. It's all working out fine right now. I’m really enjoying the service.

    Whenever my alarm goes off, I get a phone call from Frontpoint, which is great. I also like the price point of their system for what it does. But my complaint is that they don't have a package deal where I could buy a whole bunch of their devices at once for a loan. I have a lot of windows so if I wanted to buy the sound door chime, it would be $60 per window. They need to provide some type of payment plans for people to be able to pay for their devices.

    When I looked up Frontpoint on ConsumerAffairs, my assumption was that they were ahead of the pack. I like the company, but for me to renew my service with them when my contract is up, they need to start integrating more smart devices into their system. They don't have auto-locking doors where I can lock the doors from anywhere, unlike AT&T that's got that. When I go to Frontpoint's website, they don’t say what devices work well with their system, too. Frontpoint is still in front, but is on the verge of falling behind massively unless they start integrating more smart devices into their system.

    My mother-in-law uses ADT but we decided to go with Frontpoint -- we really liked the customer service and the thought that we didn’t have to connect it to a phone line. Installation was very easy and we didn’t actually have to pay for the installation, which we were really happy about. I’ve had a few interactions with their team about some billing and technical questions, and every single person I’ve spoken to has had the best customer service I have ever experienced. I’m a manager at a technical support call center and I was just blown away by the customer service I received. I had an issue with our motion detector and I called them and they’ll fit me out a new one. It took us a little while to send the defective one back and I was past the deadline that they would bill me. They didn’t bill actually me for it. I was really appreciative of that.

    The only feedback that I could give is it would be great if Frontpoint could offer something besides the automatic bill payment. They could require people to make the payment on their own even if the people are in good standing as far as the automatic bill payment goes ‘cause there are some months where I would like a few extra days to pay the bill.

    I did some research and Frontpoint was rated near the top if not the top. Also everything is digital. With their wireless system, no contractor needs to come in to install. All I need to do is know how to stick the device on the wall. It was very easy to install the system. They gave suggestions and recommendations in the material that they sent to me and I have a hotline I can call for assistance. I needed to verify a couple of things and they very quickly and efficiently got me on track so I felt comfortable.

    Frontpoint's service has been great. It was very easy installing the system. Everything was self-explanatory and the devices were easy to stick to the wall with the double-sided tapes. It only took 15 minutes to activate the device. However, my home consul froze up and we couldn't get it to reset so they overnighted a new one to me, which arrived the next day and it's been working fantastically ever since. That was an easy turnaround to get the device replaced.

    I like the app experience of being able to arm the system on my way out of the house and their text message reminders when I forget as well. That's exclusively how I use it every day and it's great. That is a key feature that's important. If there isn't any mobile app, I would have looked for something else.     After purchasing a system for my home, 4 of my 11 sensors malfunctioned within the first week. Additionally, the expensive touchscreen panel froze up and became completely unusable. After multiple calls with Frontpoint and attempts to fix the equipment, I decided to return my equipment and cancel my contract. An expensive system like this will only keep my home safe and give me peace of mind if the equipment functions... We had too many challenges with their gear. Customer service was responsive and they honored their return program, but the wasted time and effort with Frontpoint just wasn't worth the time. Next time I'll work with a company with decent equipment.

    I've had Frontpoint for over a year. The thing I don't like about it is that there are no technicians to help me out. I have a problem right now that two of my doors don't buzz when I open it. I called this morning and I explained to the guy. He told me what to check. I told him "I am four and a half feet tall and I'm 79 years old. That calls for me to get on an eight-foot ladder which I do not like to do. I do have children but you know what it's like to ask children to do something for you." Frontpoint really doesn't have any service. I had used ADT before and with them, I call them and the technician comes out. With Frontpoint, I have to do everything by telephone and it's hard to hold the telephone in one ear and get my hands moving with the other.

    Also, installation was a little difficult. We had to get the things to glue on the right direction and we didn't know really how to check if it was right or wrong until we tried the doors. I feel good that I have a security system, but the fact that some of the doors don't work is the only thing. I would not recommend it to an elderly person, especially if they lived alone and they have to get somebody.

    Some of the devices that Frontpoint sent were faulty, but other than that, set up was easy once I got good equipment. It’s convenient being able to access the system through the interactive features. It’s nice knowing that if our house was broken into, police are obviously going to be notified right away after calling up. But the system is only as good as the equipment. We’ve had a number of issues with our system and their equipment is junk, plain and simple. The equipment is not very flexible, very rigid, and unreliable. It’s difficult to continue using the service with their hardware.

    Despite how crappy some of the hardware is, their customer service is second to none. Other than a couple of instances, the Frontpoint team has been very courteous and usually willing to help. It's one thing that kept me from dumping them. I talk to a lot of companies and I actually can’t remember a company that’s got customer service as good as theirs. Anytime I’ve called Frontpoint, they’ve been willing to give me a credit or they’ve been able to send me out a new device. No real arguments. They’ve done a few things outside of their scope of agreement.

    Our house gets a lot of traffic so we got a security system and Frontpoint was extremely easy to install. Everything is pointed out step-by-step. They also have a great service center if anything comes up and I have to call and talk to someone. The Frontpoint guys were friendly, and answered every question that I had. I even had personal emails for the people that I was dealing with during the purchasing who were always quick to answer. We're very happy with that.

    Also, using the smartphone app is mainly the way we arm and disarm our security system. It's been great. We've got the geo tracking deal as well where if we get two miles away from the house and forget to arm the system, we get notifications that we didn't and we can arm then. It helps us as we're forgetful. There's a lot of new stuff they're now offering and I found out they offer beta testing so, hopefully, we get the opportunity to test some of their new gadgets.     Frontpoint could do better with regards to the installation of their sensors. With the sensors that we're supposed to be able to install, they give this little bit of adhesive that’s just barely enough. If everything works out okay, I'm good. But if not, I have to run out and get some more, which is absurd. They should give extra, but they don’t. I felt more secure with ADT than I did with them as the adhesive that ADT uses is a little bit more solid. What Frontpoint gives is the double sided tape used to hang pictures of on the wall. I know that anybody can break in if they want to but this thing is really not as sturdy.

    Frontpoint is comparable to ADT in that there have been a couple of situations where the alarm didn't work. This happened with ADT also where I wasn’t getting electric through and they didn’t tell me anything. That's why I didn't renew with ADT. The alarm is just something that looks good in the window. $40 a month is quite a bit for not actually being monitored. I didn't get a call and nobody emailed to say there was a disconnect.

    Frontpoint is one of the better companies out there. Guardian had previously monitored my house here but they're very expensive to put up. SimpliSafe is so basic. With Frontpoint, I can take the system from my Maryland location and install it down in another house we're buying. I can just call Frontpoint and say that I'm deactivating the alarm, install it again, and call them up and say that it's my new location. The system is wireless with double adhesive scotch tape. They can be mounted on doors and windows and are very easy to take off with W40 or Goof Off and a screwdriver to peel them off.

    My wife did the install because it's so darn easy. We only have two doors, two windows and a motion sensor. She was able to put it up without any problem in 30 minutes. I absolutely love Alarm.com which they use and it's awesome. I found out that the app was what the CIA was using for their monitoring service so I thought that it was a no-brainer. The alarm system is great because it uses little lithium batteries that last for up to five years. Moreover, they have a thing called smash and grab. If some people see the console and decide they're going to break it, the alarm goes off and still alerts the police so I'm notified and nobody can just take it.

    I feel comfortable and much better since I installed our Frontpoint security device. We have a detached garage, and I don’t go out there every day, but now, I know if somebody opens the door. My son also has the system and I relied on him for the installation, which was really simple. When we called to install the system, the Frontpoint reps were very amenable and helpful.

    I prefer to use my smartphone to arm and disarm our system. It feels nice. It also allows me to check and see if there’s a door that is open. In fact, it's how I discovered I had a problem with the bathroom window. I checked the system and it said that the bathroom window was open, but it's closed. The sticky glue had pulled loose away from the magnet. The repair I did was simple, I just had to get some double sticky side tape. I’ve fixed it, and I’m quite happy with it now.

    We have more remote capabilities with Frontpoint than we had with ADT. We moved houses and my husband wanted to try something different. Their security device was easy to install. However, the tape is one-time use only. If it is put on incorrectly, it doesn’t stick well. If it wasn’t lined up properly, it won't be very good if I try to realign it.     I have Frontpoint for almost a year now and I am happy with it. I had Brink's before but I prefer the setup didn't need to be hardwired in. Installation was pretty easy. A lot of it is just a peel and stick kind of installation. Their customer service has been really good. Calls are answered quickly. People seemed to be pretty knowledgeable, and I've had a couple of sensors replaced quickly. I use my smartphone almost exclusively to arm the system. It's one of the features that I like the most. Oddly enough, usually I get in bed and then arm it from bed. The other feature I use a lot is the home automation piece of it. So one of the things that I've done is if the alarm goes off, it kind of turns on all the lights in the house and outside, and I like that as well.

    There is one concern that I do have with the system. It seems to me that there's often a sensor down. I'll often get an alert that one window is not responding, or that one of my sensors is not working or it has to be bypassed. I had one that kept going out and they sent me a replacement, a long range sensor. Seemed to do the job, but every once in awhile, it'll say that sensors not working for no particular reason and then it'll start working again for no particular reason. But all in all, Frontpoint is a simple security made easy.

    I did a comparison of systems online and Frontpoint showed up as having the best features. We've had excellent interactions with their team. Installation was fairly easy, but I had difficulties with the motion sensors. Plus,I don't really like that when I turn the device on, it beeps a lot - it's a series of 36 beeps. It carries on for 24 of those, and then it starts a triple beep sequence that goes on for 12 of those. All that beeping is really irritating when I arm my system. Nevertheless, controlling my system is a huge plus for me, and that's one of my favorite features. With Frontpoint, I feel much safer. It's been great.

    Installing Frontpoint security device was a snap and super easy. We've used it for about a year and everybody in their team was very friendly. I had one incident in January when I was not home and I had a house-sitter who dropped the control unit on the ground by mistake and, of course, set off the alarm. Frontpoint helped out and I was able to fix the situation remotely. It was good and now I know if there was actually anything real that were to happen, they will be helpful and responsive. We have three very large dogs so I feel safe anyway but Frontpoint is mostly for when we are not home and the dogs are with us.     I've had Frontpoint as soon as I moved into my new home. The installation was seamless. The reps walked me through it very thoroughly. So, even if I have no experience whatsoever with any type of equipment, they make the process really easy. Everything was a one-two-step and it's very intuitive.     I've used Frontpoint for about a year. Compared to Time Warner Cable they have ten times better customer service and quality product. The installation process was really simple, quick and easy. There were a couple of different times where I got some bad pieces that I had to send back but it was very easy to send it back and get new ones out. Everything has worked perfectly. For the most part, I only use the panel when I get home. I do everything through my phone and have zero issues. The customer service has been awesome. I called them a few times for some questions that I had and they’ve always been very friendly and nice.

    If only Frontpoint didn’t have a contract that was so long and if their prices went down just a little bit more then that would be good. I’m locked in with my contract and I can’t renegotiate without removing the interactive part of it in order to get the price to go down at all when some of their competitors are coming out with very similar products and a lot less price tag on it. Theirs are still kind of sitting the same so when the contract comes up I’m going to look at them from a pricing perspective.

    Whenever I called Frontpoint, they were good. The only thing I didn’t like was the control panel. It was broken once and the problem was probably after I installed it.     Everything’s been great with Frontpoint. I haven’t had any complaints and that’s the best thing. It was fairly simple to call in for the installation and have everything activated, and it's easy to navigate thru the entire system. I have called customer service a couple of times when the alarm has been set off by my dog and everybody’s been very good. I use their interactive feature all the time and it's fairly easy. They also just updated the app back to easy access colors so it makes using the system ten times easier. The only difficulty, thus far, is being out of range. Sometimes if I'm further away, the system might not set the alarm to what I need it to be.

    I had gone on the internet and went to the ratings of all the security systems, and Frontpoint came in number one. I have them for a year and a half now and I am very happy. I had Ackerman before and Frontpoint is much better because of a couple of things. The Ackerman was hardwired into the windows and doors. Thus, when I needed new windows, that was a problem. Also, their equipment was pretty antiquated. It's 19 years old.

    With Frontpoint, I can put them where I wanna put them. The way it is now is we're replacing the windows in the house with newer, nicer, lighter windows that are heat-resistant and so forth, all we need in the house during daytime besides something on the doors is motion detectors inside and a water detector down in the basement. I feel that I like the luxury of being able to change it when I need to do it and being able to add stuff on as new things come out. We can move things around if we need to. If I move out to another house, I can take or leave it with me. I can add things when I want it. Nothing had to be serviced. Plus the process of installing the device was really easy, it was just stick and paste.

    The guy that I talked to on the phone was very friendly, knowledgeable. 20 years ago, I spent a year selling security systems for a company called Rollins. He sensed right away that I had some idea of what was going on, he didn't talk down to me. I had a feeling that if he needed to make it simpler for somebody, he couldn't done it easily. I got to get back in touch with him because I wanna get some of their flyers because I can I'm an insurance agent. I have people come in my home office all the time and I like to be able to hand out flyers and refer Frontpoint to them.

    I looked up online different security companies and Frontpoint had the most stars for several different reasons so I went with them. Installation was really simple. I followed the directions and only took an hour to put it all together. The representatives were very helpful and friendly. The system has gone off a few times. All those times were due to a mistake I made when I was arming or disarming it. Response was pretty quick. The only thing I noticed is when you contact the police, the police don't necessarily respond right away. So if there was somebody burglarizing me they'd be there and gone. But other than that I haven't had any problems. It's all been good so far. It's easy to arm or disarm the system using my phone. I may add a few more cameras and another sensor for opening of doors.

    I have been very satisfied with Frontpoint. My mom turned the system on and off from her phone several times when my brother-in-law or my sister needed to get in. Their reps were pretty good for the most part, although I was a little confused. I am a referral and was told that both the person who referred and I would get a free month of service. I was told I was gonna get mine in August but it didn’t happen in August. I’m not sure if it did happen after that. I contacted the original salesperson who said that I need to contact somebody else but it’s just the same thing. But that's the only problem that I’ve really had.

    There was an attempted break-in at our home and an actual break-in at our neighbor’s home. I told my husband the day we found out about the break-in to get a security system. He did a lot of research and found Frontpoint. We ordered everything online and installed it ourselves and the process was very easy. We've had it since July of last year.     I’ve had Frontpoint for about a year now. I used ADT before and Frontpoint is much better. It was extremely easy installing the system. Everything was in the box and directions were easy to follow. I didn’t have a problem. I called the team and they were very helpful. I didn’t have any problems. I like the fact that I can add on whatever I want to and all I have to do is order it. When I originally got the system I didn’t have the smoke and fire detector. A few months ago, I ordered that and put it up myself. I just called to have it activated. It was very simple.     Somebody broke into my neighbor's house and they put Frontpoint. I asked where they got the system and I got all the information from them. I installed Frontpoint in my house and now I feel much safer and can sleep much better. However, I have a minor problem. I installed it upstairs and downstairs and a tenant living downstairs keeps triggering the alarm. I don't know how to disconnect them. I just want the alarm upstairs and not downstairs because every time they open the door, they trigger it as it's all hooked up. Because of that, I have to unhook it sometimes when we're not there. But other than that, Frontpoint is awesome.

    I had a different security provider for a very short time but it didn't work properly and then I canned them. I have two homes on Frontpoint's system right now. They both interface with my smartphone. It seems cutting edge to me. Their team was totally friendly and very helpful. I've had nothing but good interactions with them. I've had some issues with some of my sensors. They just kept trying to fix it rather than replace it. I finally insisted they sent me sensors and since then, they haven't given me any problems. They're an adequate company and I'm very pleased with them.

    Being able to access my system anytime and anywhere is comforting. Having the device installed makes me feel safer. Some people stole some of my stuff before and I was right there in the house. I got a detached garage. And at night, I wouldn’t know if they broke into there or not ‘cause it’s not my living area. I don't live under the fear of somebody breaking into my house because I have weapons. But still, if I'm not near the weapon at the right time, the Frontpoint device can alert me to go to it. It's especially great when out of town. I have peace of mind that at least the property is secure. The police in the area would get there before someone run off with my stuff. It helps on our insurance, too.

    I've had Frontpoint for almost a year now. There was a problem with two of the sensors when I was installing the device so I had to swap them out a couple of times.     I'm well satisfied with Frontpoint's service. Everything went just as they promised.     I like Frontpoint a lot better than ADT which I've used before because Frontpoint works off of a cell phone and ADT works off of landline. The security system is in my barn in Allen, Nebraska and I'm normally in Arizona so I arm and disarm it using my cell phone. I've also used their app and it's fine. Installing the device was easy and took me about 20 minutes. I had a little issue where I put the motion sensors in a bad spot, but that was my fault. When I was having problems, I called their reps to ask them about it and they were the ones who told me what the problem was. I'm very satisfied with Frontpoint. It's an excellent system.

    I've used Frontpoint for over a year and installing the security device couldn’t be any easier. Their team is always polite, nice, friendly, and very helpful.     A friend referred Frontpoint and I've had it now for less than a year. The installation was fairly easy and straightforward. We had a problem with a sensor for one of the doors that didn't work so they sent us a new one. The interactive feature is pretty good. It comes in handy when I need to have someone do something for me at the house while I'm gone, I can disarm my alarm remotely. However, their website's not that intuitive. There are things that are there that are clunky like the geofencing. Nevertheless, I had a good and satisfactory experience.

    Frontpoint's customer service was very good as far as answering all the questions. But I would compare the experience with buying with them to buying a car, where if you tell them no, it keeps going lower and lower. I would say, "Is that your best offer?" "Well, yeah. That's our best offer." And I said, "Okay. Well, I'm going with ADT." And it's, "Oh, we can give you another $5 off on this and we can give you the installation for free, or we can..." It's not a bad thing but it was interesting.

    Having their interactive features, on the other hand, is good. I've had a couple of times that my brother-in-law would come in and freak out my code. I've been able to disarm it when he would text me saying that he just triggered my alarm off. I could do it very quickly from away. The only thing I wish that Frontpoint had is a home kit integration. I'm very much into the Apple ecosystem and I wish I could tell Siri to arm my system. I wish you could voice activate it. Apart from that, it's easy to set up and they have good customer service. I would recommend it. I got a guy that works for me in the army and he just signed up with Frontpoint after talking with me, and I think he likes their system so far.

    I use a different home security provider before in a different location. That one was a hardwired alarm system. Frontpoint, on the other hand, is wireless and I can control it from my cellphone which is amazing - I love it. It's exactly what I need. In addition, the Frontpoint people could answer all of my questions. They helped me with things that I couldn't figure out on my own. They're really friendly and it's easy to get through to them. Having my Frontpoint device installed, I feel much safer. Because they track all the motion sensors and all the doors, I can see exactly how long my cleaning lady is in the house when I'm at work and I can see what time my kids get home after school if I'm out.     Frontpoint is our first security system in this house that we’ve been in for five years now. It’s been a year and a half that we've used the system. Installing the Frontpoint devices was really easy for the most part. We use different security devices depending on the area of our house. We are on their mobile feature too and the only thing we don’t have is the cameras. We are at the second highest level of service. We use our phones to deactivate, to activate, and to monitor. It's great and I like it.

    The only thing I’m thinking about is the cameras and that’s the area where Frontpoint could be a little better, having those cameras interactive with the actual system. Once the system is armed and if the camera shows something suspicious, the camera should also activate an alarm. But their camera is not interactive right now and I understand it would be problematic because the camera can’t tell whether a person lives there or not.

    I’m overall quite happy with Frontpoint and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. It's a little pricier than some of the other ones, but it’s worth it. Customer service is really important and Frontpoint seems to stand behind their product. I bargained with them a bit to try to get more sensors. I got quite a bit. There’s always room now to expand with the cameras and that’s my next step. Also, we called their staff when there was a false alarm and they were very proactive. I’ve been very impressed with their response.

    I'm not that good at technical stuff but installing the Frontpoint security device was surprisingly easy. Customer service helped me set up what I needed for my home and helped me make decisions on whether I needed stuff or if I should get the latest monitor, so I didn't get too much stuff. They made everything easy for me and I can see why the company got high grades online.

    I use the app more than the panel itself. I can arm the system on the way out the door and disarm it before I can get home. I can also check to make sure the system's on from my phone. My wife definitely feels better since the system was installed. I was almost tempted to go with another company that would install the system for me but I was convinced that Frontpoint was really easy to do and they were right.     We have Frontpoint as our home security service provider for a year and got the doors and the motion which are common to what normal people do. It was good up until the point with the motion detector that my daughter hit it off the wall because it has to be 5 feet. So it’s not very kid friendly but it’s fine and not a big deal. I am unhappy with the team over at Frontpoint though. We don’t use the smart mobile app at all and I called to cancel that because I'm spending $10 extra a month for that feature. They said if I cancel that, then that would take away the smash-and-grab feature of the unit as well. It’s really ridiculous but I’ve already signed the contract so I’m stuck with it for three years. I feel like if I want to cancel a feature, that should just be a basic feature, and should not be coupled together.

    When I first got the Frontpoint system, the panel that they sent me looked used and dirty. I told the reps and they sent me another panel a few days after. The only thing with installing the system is they should label better the magnet that goes on the door as to which part needs to be facing. There were two parts that need to be pointing to each other. I had installed a couple of sensors and at first it wouldn't activate. It took me a while to figure out what I was doing wrong. The reps were helpful when I wanted to add a smoke detector. I called and they sent me one. I use their interactive feature on my phone all the time. I like it because whenever I leave home and forget to set the alarm, I can set it up and don't have to worry about going back. So far, it does what it needs to do and I'm happy with it.

    I'm extremely satisfied with Frontpoint. We haven't had anybody trying to break in, but a couple of times we moved our system from one location to another, I did something and set the alarm off. We had the sheriff, the fire department, and everybody came within a short period of time. We felt very bad about getting everybody coming and the deputy sheriff said, "This is a good way for you to check out your system." If the system continues to be that good, we're much more secure about leaving the place since I was telling my husband I'm a little worried when we leave it. We're in a farm so we're not along the main highway. It's far away - about 12 miles from Grand Forks so we were very impressed. We are going to install it in our house in Grand Forks this fall and again, it's out in the country a little ways, in a remote wooded area.

    We didn't have any problem installing the device. The instructions were good and my husband was able to do it. It didn't take him that long and that was not a problem. I have a sister who lives near Rockford, Illinois and I keep telling her that they ought to get the system because her husband is disabled. She said she couldn't install it but I assured her she could.

Our realtor installed our system and she was on the phone with Frontpoint as she had a little bit of difficulty.     I was getting ready to move into my house and I needed an alarm so I thought Frontpoint would be a good option as I liked their pricing. I'm very good with electronics so I didn't have problems installing the device. The sensors I first got were only a couple which was fine considering the price they gave me. I called them in to get two more to cover the windows that were hidden away. They said they would give me half off out of three door and window sensors, but that's still pricey for my price range. When I had false alarms, the doors made a crack or the wind pushed them open, their reps were quick to call me which was good. I’ve used the mobile app and online.     Frontpoint is user-friendly. Installing the Frontpoint device was a piece of cake as soon as I realized that the arrows had to match up. Then I forgot my password and the Frontpoint team helped me get back online. Everything's been very well-received by them. They were able to quickly resolve my issues and take care of me. I get text alerts too on my phone for doors being opened. I rearm and disarm 98% via mobile app and it all works perfectly. I love it.
