    I used ADT before at my old house but Frontpoint's system is really simple and easier to use. I installed it in a heartbeat. We called them up, had the sensors activated and the system hooked up on our phones and emails.     I’ve had a great experience with Frontpoint, so far. Any issues that I’ve had, I've been able to reach them. One time they were offline but I understand that. When I had some new windows put in and I had to redo everything, I called for some instructions and everything's been really good. I've been happy. I would most certainly recommend them.

    I installed the Frontpoint device easily and their customer service was very helpful and patient. They really walked me through step by step. But one time, it wasn't working when I was out of the country when I needed it the most to monitor my house on my phone. All the activity was not updating on my phone at all so I couldn’t tell whether my house sitter was in my house and when she came in or out. The issue got fixed within the 24 hours after I reported it, but then I already lost four to five days of security monitoring. I asked them if they knew what happened and they couldn't tell me. Also, I was supposed to get a refund on one of my months but that never came through. Other than that, I'm happy with them.

    With our previous provider, we had false alarms like crazy. Their equipment was faulty and it was not a good experience. Frontpoint is remarkably better than what we had before. I did the self install so they just mailed me everything, then I just had to call and get it set up. It was really easy and convenient, and I didn’t have to worry about scheduling an appointment. I only had to interact with somebody twice, and that was initially when I was calling to gather information and when I was doing the install. Both times, they were really professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions appropriately and did their jobs pretty well. I use the alarm from my phone all the time and I love it. It’s affordable and it does what it’s supposed to do.

    We had had a burglary occur at our former house which was one of the things that made us pick up the Frontpoint system. Since that time we've felt a lot more safe. My satisfaction with the service has been very good so far. We use the mobile app all the time. Being able to control the system from the phone is one of the reasons why we liked the system so much. I recommended it to my father and then he bought a system as well. I'd like to see them bring down the prices though overall it's been a good experience.

    A good friend of ours used Frontpoint when we were looking to get a security system and we were not aware of Frontpoint initially. Then in discussions with them, they brought up Frontpoint and I checked it out and I decided to go with Frontpoint. The initial salesperson that I had with Frontpoint was helpful and answered any questions that I had. Also, installing the device was pretty straightforward. I just followed the instructions and it seemed to work fine and dandy. My wife set it up early on in the process and I got a call from Frontpoint wanting to make sure that everything was all right. They also asked me the appropriate questions to identify myself, and so I’m very pleased with how it’s going.

    I arm and disarm the system using my cellphone all the time and it's great. We had a break-in into the house and Frontpoint's people felt somewhat violated after the fact, so they provide me with a greater sense of control or relief from that feeling of violation. I've recommended it to someone when they were thinking about getting a system.

    FrontPoint has a good rate and installation was very easy. One time I pressed the motion button and it went off on us. Another time my step-daughter came in and the alarm went off and everything went smooth dealing with their team.     We've been using Frontpoint for a year. Installing the security device was really easy as it was all wireless. It's really useful being able to access and control our system on the go especially when we forget to arm the alarm. Since having our Frontpoint security device, my family and home are more secured, and we have peace of mind also. Everything has been great with the exception of the panel. It tends to freeze over, and we would either have to wait or use our phone to disarm it but I haven't had the opportunity to actually contact them yet.

    My husband had seen Frontpoint's reviews and said that it was the best one and then he also heard that it was better than ADT, so he wanted to try it out. Every time I call Frontpoint, everyone’s very happy. Installing our device was very easy and I feel safer since its installation. They automatically send us alerts and I normally lock it from my phone when I’m leaving the house. The only issue that I’ve had is that the main thing where we put our pin in freezes up sometimes, so we have to use our phone to disarm it. Other than that, I like the system and it's great. I actually want to upgrade.

    It has just been over a year that I've been using the services of Frontpoint. It was easy for me to install the security device, but I work in a hardware store, so stuff like that is natural for me. Nevertheless, the average consumer would have a very easy time installing their product. The customer service reps were great and answered any questions I had. From what I dealt with, their customer service was a real plus. I got one piece of faulty equipment and they replaced it right away, no questions asked. I use their app and it seems basic and straightforward to me. It doesn't have any bells or whistles, but I don't necessarily think that it needs to, since it gets me what I need to do.

    I've been using Frontpoint for two years now and it has been very good. I had a pretty good system here but it was hard wired and landline and I wanted to change to a cellphone type system so I went with Frontpoint. They sent me all the stuff for installation, and I put it on the windows. I called them several times and had different questions for setting up the camera and different things and they were always very responsive and helpful. They're very professional and the system really works. Their app is good but I'm always worried about hackers a little bit, 'cause if I can do it, somebody else can do it. But I haven't had any problem yet. Other than that, I've been very happy with them. They've done a good job.

    We've been using Frontpoint for about a year now and so far, so good. Installing it was so easy. The only thing we've had to do was put some of the stickers on the sensors. However, we had to call about a month ago and ask them to send me more stickers, 'cause they were falling off the wall. We also use the app in our phones in setting the alarm because a lot of times we forget to and we'll be in the car some place and remember we need to set it.

    If you're in the basic plan the police wouldn't be called if someone comes in and they smash the system within the first 30 seconds. But with the premium plan, the plan I'm on, Frontpoint uses an algorithm and they call anyway if that were to happen. My only complaint is how much more you have to pay for the feature. I really think that should be on the minimum plan. It wasn’t enough to make me switch systems but that is something that I was very mad about. But other than that I've had a good experience with Frontpoint. Customer service reps were helpful. The app is intuitive and easy to use. I don’t really use the remote access as much unless I'm out of town, but it is really helpful.

    The Frontpoint system has only a couple of options, but it's all cloud-based so the only concern is its latency. But for how much it cost and what it is, there should be a bit more options on the camera integration or an NVR option for something a little bit more robust that one can log into their house.

    My Frontpoint installation experience was fine. Each representative was very helpful and knowledgeable about the installation process. However, when I decided to turn on the alarm upon entering my apartment, it would freeze and I couldn’t turn it off and it would go off. I called and their rep said it’s because my device needed to be updated. So they helped me through that process and I haven’t had any issues since.     Installing the Frontpoint devices was very simple. I saw the videos and they were all helpful and I took time to identify the locations in my windows and patio doors. I need a flat surface to install it but window frames are not really flat. However, the glue is really sticky. It's good in sticking to the surface, even partially. The only minor issue I've had is that if you put the glue accidentally it's very hard to remove so if I put it wrongly, then there is no other option. All of us in the family use their app on our iPhones and it's convenient and easy to use. One time, I had set it as "Away" but we were all home. As soon as we moved, we got a call and they answered right away.

    Frontpoint was one of the best on the internet, so I went with them. I've been with them for a little over a year now. At first, I had a little bit of trouble in aligning some things up. So I called and someone stayed on the phone with me and walked me through the whole process and it works perfectly. I use my phone to arm and disarm it all the time. When we went on vacation, it was perfect. We had somebody watch the house and I could tell everything was all right or if somebody needed to check something. I love it. I feel much more secured with it, especially when I'm home and I turn it on. I live by myself and I feel better about leaving the house because I feel that it's protected. It's working well for me and I've had a very good experience with the alarm system.

    The Frontpoint device was easy to install. I feel safer with it and I like its feature where I can program the device to let me know when the doors are open because we just had a baby. If she gets bigger, I'll be able to hear when the door is open in case she tries to get out on her own. One time, the alarm went off and I had to talk to the Frontpoint staff. I had a good experience talking to everybody. I also like being able to arm and disarm the device using the phone. However, when I sometimes do it from the main console, it's laggy. I prefer an improvement on that. Other than that, everything else is great.

    The touchscreen monitor which was the brain of the operation was freezing. I called Frontpoint and their guy did an update to the machine. They didn't roll out the update and that was my only issue which was minor. I had to call in to get my system updated. Other than that, I’ve been pleased with Frontpoint.     We've been with Frontpoint for 3 years. The system on the first house that we got it on was fine, but we're not really happy with our current one. Our alarm keeps going off at all hours of the night for no apparent reason, and we can't seem to get it fixed. Every time we turn it on, it wakes us up in the middle of the night, so we just don’t even turn it on anymore. We've called tech support four times now, and it just isn’t working for us. They can't figure out what's wrong with it, and we can't either.

    I had Monitronics before but I had to put new windows in the house and I needed new window stickers. They said they'd ship this for $14.95. That really upset me. I said that I was only asking for half a dozen new window stickers. So, I went looking and found Frontpoint and I've been pleased with them. We arm and disarm our system when we go in and out the door and we have the mobile one that's on the key chain but we don't use it. We'd just gotten in the habit of using it right at the door.

    So far, I get a quick phone call from them if it went off. It went off one time inadvertently but they called to know if everything was okay and wanted to know my password. And then one time I went in and twisted the key and started to open the door, and thought I had to do something else and didn't realize I'd set it off. I got the police department calling and I said I pulled a dummy move. I like that they don't hesitate and I've been very satisfied with the service.

    Sometimes when I turn my Frontpoint device on, it says some of the doors are open when they’re not. So I go and open the door and close it again, then it shuts the alarm off. Other than that, Frontpoint is fine. Installing it was very easy to do.

    Frontpoint's customer service is extraordinarily good. The only thing I dislike is that I had to sign on for a three-year contract and I had to give that a lot of thought. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't go with the three-year contract. Other than that, I find Frontpoint to be great. It has its own quirks but being able to interact and solve issues almost instantaneously is good. My next door neighbor saw my sign so I brought him inside and showed him our sensors and so forth. He has Frontpoint now and thanked me for it. He's so happy with Frontpoint, too.

    Frontpoint is our first security system and installing it was a smooth experience. I was also pretty happy with their customer service. They are very patient with us in setting up their system and they're very helpful. I like that they will communicate with us in different ways to make sure they reach us. It feels like security is important to them and I like that. We had a couple of defective pieces of equipment but they replaced it and then they followed up quite a bit to make sure that we got everything working whenever they noticed something wasn't communicating back to them. Our basement is partially exposed so that was always a big concern. When I'm home alone, having Frontpoint makes me feel so much better so I can sleep better at night with the kids.     I've had Frontpoint for two years now. Their app is easy to use and I use it all the time. I installed Frontpoint twice because I moved. They walked me through device installation and it was easy. My one complaint is that on my second system, I tried buying a camera and the installation was so horrible. They sent another one, we tried that again and finally the camera went off. So I sent it back and got my money. I had the feeling that wasn’t really what Frontpoint does with an add-on. It was a real pain working with it so we cut the cord and didn't bother. I wasn't happy with it but I was happy with the way it was resolved.

    The installation of the Frontpoint device was easy but the instructions that we had were for an older model so that made it difficult for sticking some of the sensors on the doors. I had to reorder some of the adhesives in order to apply them correctly and that wasn't perfect either. Then we’ve had a few problems with the part of the alarm that serves as the central system. The software needed to be manually updated because it would get locked and the alarm would go off. So it would get locked while either my wife or I were keying in the code.

    Then there are times when we're home or we've armed as away and the motion sensor will start going off in the middle of the night. We have a young child in the house and there’ve been break-ins up and down out block so it’s unsettling to have the alarm malfunction. We're not entirely happy with it but we haven't taken steps to address the motion sensor recently. It’s tough not being able to use one of the functions. Before the software was updated, we had called a few times with the issue on the freezing of the system. The main reason we’re paying $40 some dollars a month is so that when we need it, we have it and we want to make sure that that’s the case.

    I like Frontpoint better than my old security provider because I can control it from my phone. With the other one I has to go to the keypad. I can lock the house down from my phone if I forget with Frontpoint's app which I couldn’t do with the other one. I like the app a lot. Also, the installation was easy and took about two hours. However, it doesn't have an override function if I wanted to override a particular sensor which we do often for storm doors.     So far, our experience with Frontpoint has been good. We've been with them for a year now. They have good customer service, and the device is easy to use. The device is self-install so there's not much communication with the people at Frontpoint during the installation process. They have a really simple reading instruction on where to place the sensors and so forth and how to set it up. Three weeks ago, I called them for a faulty sensor. The gentlemen I spoke to sent another sensor out, called and emailed for a follow-up. Since installing our Frontpoint security device, everyone feels a bit better.     I used ADT before I switched to Frontpoint. I like ADT's keypad better but I like the convenience of Frontpoint's mobile app and their pricing. Also, installing the Frontpoint device was a piece of cake. One improvement I would ask for is that the alarm on the keypad should be louder. And there's a little bit of latency between the time when a keychain is tripped and the beep sounds on the keypad. But that's just a network thing. Otherwise, the system is great.

I’m handy so it wasn’t that bad though. But if somebody else wasn’t or didn’t know how to use the saw or cut wood, they would probably have problems.

    My experience with Frontpoint has been good. The only bad experience I've had with them is that when I go to the Internet and buy the system, they send me a panel that looks from the 1940's versus a panel that looks from 2015 in the screen. I complained about that and they told me that the other panel is a little bit more expensive. But other than that, I haven't had any issues with them. The reps were very friendly, patient and easy to speak to and my interactions with them have been good.

    So far, it's been good with Frontpoint. Everything’s worked the way that it should and installing it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I just pulled the stuff out, stuck it up, and so far it holds up. I had one interaction with their team at the beginning about the key fob. I may have misread it or something happened but I thought I was getting more than the number of key fobs stated. But I have one, my wife has one, and my daughter has one, too, and that’s all we really need. Other than that, I didn’t have any issues with Frontpoint. I now mostly use their interactive feature and it works out pretty good. We did have an issue with some people checking out the neighborhood to see who does or doesn’t have a system and I haven't had that issue since we got Frontpoint. I probably just need to buy more sensors.

    So far, Frontpoint is so good. We installed the system for ourselves. However, installing was a hassle, and we prefer to get the service from Frontpoint. Plus, I see that Comcast is a competitor for Frontpoint, and they are a bigger company of course. But they are installing the same security system and not charging their customers for equipment. The monthly fee is very competitive with Frontpoint. That amount that Frontpoint charges should take into account their customers. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the equipment and the function.

    I've been using Frontpoint for under a year and the only real issue that I had was the front door alarm or the automation thing to open and close the front door. It still doesn’t work right. It’s one of those back and forth because they don’t provide the hardware. The hardware provider says it's the software and the software provider says it's the hardware.

    But the bigger problem was setting it up with the city and that ended up costing me some money, and that was a little disappointing. I got it set up before Christmas last year. I was away at Christmas time and I had somebody staying here over Christmas to watch the dogs. The alarm went off. The guy didn’t understand and got confused. And the police got called. Everything happened as it should, but then afterwards, I got a bill saying it wasn't registered. So then the county charged me for having an unregistered alarm system even though I paid Frontpoint for registering the alarm system.

    I searched for best home security systems and Frontpoint was rated number one. Installation of the security device was a piece of cake. It didn’t take 20 minutes. The instructions were right there, and if I had any questions, I just call in and activate whatever. I know that when I arm the system, everything is good to go. If I have any kind of issue or if an alarm triggers, they call right away. I really enjoy the Frontpoint system and I've recommended it to a few friends of mine.

    I dropped my daughter off to daycare and I get a phone call from Frontpoint. They said, “A motion sensor went off. Do you want us to send somebody to your house?” I said “No. I'll be there in a couple of minutes.” When I got there, everything was okay in the house. I rearmed the system and took off. The very next day, the same thing happened. They called again, so and I say, “Yes, please send somebody because I'm not going to be there for a while.” Cops were called, and they checked the house out. Everything was fine. When I went back home I figured out that light is shining through the window on the door and that direct light is setting the motion sensor off. I adjusted my motion sensors and haven’t had any problem since.

    My house got broken into Thanksgiving Day a year ago, so I called Frontpoint and got their system. My daughter said it seemed to have higher ratings than the other providers. My son-in-law installed the device for me. I had some issues with the billing part of it when we first got it, but they got that all straightened around. One time I came in the house and the pad number five got stuck. Frontpoint called me and the rep told me how to shut it off.

    I also had problems before with setting the motions. My daughter and I have pets, but she locks hers in her bedroom when she leaves. They said there would be no problems with having dogs unless they weighed 15 pounds. I had my son to move in with me. The motions will not gonna weigh anything. That should be any motion that passes through there. But I went to the bank one day, came back, pulled right in front of the house, and Frontpoint had called me because my motion alarm was going off. So I come in the house and was telling the lady about it. And she said, “That used to be on the older ones that we had.” But she said the newer ones, no and any kind of motion should set it off. I hated to lock the dogs up in the bedroom. So now, I just do the doors and windows. Unless in the summer time and I'll maybe leave a little window open just a little bit. And then I have to set my motions and lock them up.

    We had a fully wired system in the home when it was built in '99. We were doing a major remodel with doors and windows. So I switched to a wireless because I didn't want to go through the whole mess of trying to re-do all the doors and the windows. And besides that, I liked what Frontpoint had to offer better than our previous provider. I'm technically savvy so installation was easy; my brother-in-law, who is not technically savvy at all, put the system in and had no trouble.     We had ADT before and the customer service with them was bad. We didn't want to deal with them anymore so we started to look for other opportunities and a friend of my wife had Frontpoint and recommended it. We looked at it and decided that that's what we were going to use. I like the fact that the system is wireless and we're not running lines all over and see everything. The installation was very easy and the person we talked to on the phone walked us through it. Then, they activated everything from this location. The system is working fine and easy to operate.

    However, I didn't like it when the person we talked to on the phone told us that we had to decide right at that time whether we were going have it or not or we couldn't get the price he was quoting. Nine times out of ten, whenever people say those kinds of things by default we will say no. It would have been advantageous if it was less of a pressure thing because we decided right then and there then we found out that there are other wireless home security systems on the market. So when our contract is over we intend to shop around and compare other wireless systems before we decide if we're going to lock into a contract. Other than that, we're generally happy with Frontpoint.

    I've been using Frontpoint for a year and a half. Setting up our Frontpoint security device was relatively simple. The guys at Frontpoint have been very helpful. I use the app all the time to arm and disarm the system. It's great that I can access the system at anytime from anywhere. In fact, that's one of the reasons I went with Frontpoint. We feel more secure since having Frontpoint. It's definitely an added benefit to having the security system. The panel is a little glitchy, though. I got a service sent for the software update but there was some glitch with the panel. So far, that would be the only issue I've had. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would still recommend it to other folks if they're looking for a security system.

    My husband’s technically sound and the instructions to install our Frontpoint system weren't hard to follow so doing it was easy. It was pairing it up with the correct number in the machine that was a bit of a pain, but it was just user error. The monthly price is high for us but we’re making it happen for what we have. There was one time when we renewed our debit cards and we forgot to update the information with them and they were very willing to work with us. They made everything transition nice and easy. It was within about five days of the payment being due, and I thought my late fees have already been paid.

    Their response time has been decent. When the fire alarm went off, I'm pleased that they had called within a minute. I use the app frequently and it was working great until last night. In the middle of the night I was wondering if the alarm had been set. I looked at my phone and it said disarmed, so I armed it. Suddenly I heard the beeping going off like my alarm had been triggered. So I quickly disarmed it and ran upstairs. Sure enough, the windows and the door sensors had already been turned on.

    My husband had done some research on security systems online, and we went with Frontpoint because of their price and that we could get a motion detector that could snap pictures, and we can remotely turn it off and on through our phone. It has some features that were interesting. Installing our Frontpoint security device was shockingly easy. We called Frontpoint that day to get assistance and they were very nice, and they walked us through it. We're using Frontpoint for a shore house, and I'm not accessing it on a daily basis so the alarm is generally on unless we're there. With that, it's convenient being able to control the system from the app at anytime and anywhere.

    There was one time something happened and Frontpoint didn't call us. My husband set off the alarm and turned it off right away. Perhaps if the alarm was turned off within a certain amount of time, then they don't call. There have been other times where the alarm's been set off and we've had a call and they call the police to come check it out. For a little while, we were concerned that we weren't linked to a central station, but we've since been proved wrong. We're not uneasy with the system now. In fact, we'd like to build on it. We can also add the thermostat and locks to our doors. It's nice to know that there are features that we can add to it to improve it even more.

    When installing my security device, I went by the instructions and called Frontpoint, and they all walked me through. It was real simple. I had a sensor that was malfunctioning. I would go to work and it would say somebody’s breaking in my house, and I'd race home. Everybody had been very nice and friendly at Frontpoint. I've had more of an attitude in the interview but they all did make it right and everything was fine after that. I replaced the sensor and I've not had any more problems. I also bought the keychain and I use it to activate and turn it off and on. I like the keychain better than using my phone because it's on my key and I also don’t have to pull my phone out.

The system was easy to install, I installed it myself which was pretty easy. The price was not too bad and was within what I was expecting to pay. And, the system seemed to work for what I was looking for.

    However, I almost didn't get the system because the first person I talked to was a little bit pushy and that's not good. People have different experiences but I hate it when people tried to start calling, pushing and sending messages saying I only have two days to act until the discount is gone. So I stopped and halted. Then the supervisor called and I told him that their salesperson was too pushy. But having Frontpoint gives my wife peace of mind. I also use the system's interactive features all the time and it suits my needs. I'm pretty happy with the service.

    Someone recommended Frontpoint to me and when I Googled it, it came up as one of the better companies. Installing the device was easy and fast but there was one problem that I had and I'm still dealing with it. It's really not Frontpoint’s doing though. I live in a 90-year-old home and the woodwork around the doors is a little funky. I struggle with one of the two pieces which are the one that goes on the frame and the one goes on the door. I had to take it down and just hit bypass every time which I don’t like. At first it worked, but then it stopped working if the pieces are not close enough together and I really don’t know what to do about that. My house is still armed if I hit the bypass button but I’d still would like that to work. I have called Vivint and they suggested a couple of solutions but they didn’t work such as raising the magnetic piece on the door to bring it more flesh with the other piece.

    Their mobile app is really convenient though. I have it on my smartphone and I arm and disarm the system using that primarily. I'm out of town right now and my house is securely locked down with Frontpoint. I check it once in a while just to be sure that everything is still armed. Overall, Frontpoint is great and I've been happy with it. They're always very helpful. I always talk to a real person and they're always very nice and friendly. I can understand what they say because they speak without a thick accent. My only thing would be if they could lower the price and be a little bit more competitive. That would be smart to do because I will definitely look at other options when my next year is up. I do feel it's a little pricey and I know that it's much more expensive than a number of other companies particularly SimpliSafe.

    I had a little difficulty getting the sensors to read with some of the door trim that I have in my house. It wasn't installed in the standard way and I had a bit of difficulty with the Frontpoint reps explaining how to fix things over the phone when it hasn't worked well. But for the most part they're very good and easy to get a hold of. Then some of the adhesive was hard to get it off of the wall and we were afraid to pull the paint off so we had to leave some of them there. We use the interactive features when we go out of town to make sure that we have everything set up. However, I wish Frontpoint's service is not as expensive as it is per month.

    Frontpoint had good online reviews, has a mobile app and the ability to update the system. The device was very simple and easy to install. Everything came in a box in package and most of them have peel and stick where I can attach them more permanently by screwing them into the walls and ceilings. It was very user friendly. I use the interactive features everyday and it's a great software. However, they're more expensive than some of the other alarm companies. They charged a significant amount for the initial software and what they charged for the monthly monitoring service is higher than some of the other companies. They also locked me into a contract for three years to get a certain price guaranteed. So if I wanted to switch to another company, their buyout to end my contract is 60% of my remaining balance. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied but I wouldn't recommend them for the price.

    I requested quote from Frontpoint representative a week back. He was really good in explaining me everything and sent me the quote required. Another representative gave me a call couple of days later to explain me a promotion they have which can give me the equipment at a discounted price. My requirements changed a bit and requested to add more devices to the quote. I was happy with the conversations with Frontpoint and on the verge of signing up for this security system but I got a family emergency and couldn't sign up or attend any calls from last two days.

    I am back to normal now and received another call from the second representative today for which I responded "I am really happy with your discounts, now it's my turn to decide which equipment I need as the final price is a bit expensive for me. Let me decide what I can remove from my request and will let you know of my decision in a couple of days." I am really disappointed with his response to my statement "if you wait couple of more days you are more than welcome to take our equipment for full price, I can't hold discounts forever. Good luck for your search". For me customer service is way more important than the price which is one of the main reason I choose Frontpoint at the first place, I am reconsidering my decision now.

    Frontpoint's products were a little pricey but it works well since I've been using them. It's doing what we need it to do. I'd like to see it have a little more capability and I know that the Nest cameras can be tucked back and forth. But it's important to be able to arm or disarm the system from our device and this feature works. It's nice to know that it's there and can be used when needed and the monitoring certainly provides security. I like to be able to check out the video at times and the cameras do a good job of capturing, being able to zoom in and see different things. The quality is good. A lot of the electronics these days promise so much and don't deliver. Frontpoint delivers on their products and I would recommend them.

However, the monitor that we got in the house freezes up from time to time when we put in the code to arm or disarm it. It freezes up for a minute, and then recycles itself. If there's ever an emergency and I try to punch in buttons fast, it will sit there and think about it. That's the only downfall to the whole system. Other than that, everything's good.

    We have some equipment from Frontpoint that is faulty sometimes, and it has to do with cold weather. They had known where we would be putting them out, and they could have told us stuff like that before we bought it. There's a good and a bad. They don't actually come to your house, so they don't see what you have, and I feel that you're safer that way. But then, they don't come to your house and look at what you got to see if it works. On the other hand, installation was very easy, and the tech support was great. They always have a solution, but of course, it's more money. Overall, we've been satisfied, except for a few issues.

    I was having problems with break-ins which was why I got the Frontpoint system. My husband chose this system and he takes care of it. I feel comfortable with what I have right now but on my iPhone which I use for arming and disarming the system, it says I had two issues. One is the upstairs bedroom window and the other one is the keychain remote. I use the keychain remote to lock and unlock the doors and the battery went on that. They've sent me batteries to put in the window sensors and I have no idea how to install them. So I wrote a note, sent the remotes back and told them I don't want them 'cause my eyesight is not good. They sent me a new remote and a card that it was good to go. So I tried and tried it but it didn't work and I was frustrated. The security system is great, but it's confusing.

I just put the stuff on the door and the windows and set up the main hub. I've had a couple of small issues that have arisen over the last year, but they’ve taken care of it every time. Their team is always on top of things and definitely easy to get a hold of. I didn’t want the system in the first place, but it's made my wife feel better and she feels more secure.

    The only concern about their equipment is I don’t get very much for my money and I wish they had more to offer. I wanted some of the services that I used previously like the doorbell cameras and Frontpoint doesn’t offer that. The cameras that I have now that are in the house are pretty outdated. The main hub itself is a little outdated as well.

    We got Frontpoint to use to let in contractors and whatnot in the house because with them, I had the ability to open up the door and could monitor if people are coming in or not. During the installation, we ran into a problem with the framing on our doors. We put the big piece on the door but the little piece still didn't fit quite right on there. The piece wouldn't stay or was too bumpy and there wasn't enough room for it to attach itself in that flat position. So on one, we had to take off the housing around so we see the magnet or the metal part.

    I've used the interactive features and one of the problems I had was if I said "Notify me" then it was notifying me all the time. But if I said "Don't notify me" then I wasn't getting the ones I really wanted. Still, it was good to have access to the system at anytime from anywhere. We haven't been using the system lately since we already live in the house permanently now and the house is in a gated a community. Even so, the Frontpoint team has been very helpful. I would have liked to use it to put lights on and off and stuff like that though.

    I moved from California to South Carolina and put the Frontpoint alarm system in my new house. I had done a lot of research online and Frontpoint was number one on things so that made me choose it. I had good interaction with the sales rep. I told him I was looking into it because I was moving across the country. It was six months before and he put me on his calendar and remembered that. He would call me and ask if I was ready for my security alarm. He did really good follow-up.

    The only negative thing is that when the guy was telling me that I'd do it by myself, it never came into my mind that I'd have situations where it would be difficult for me to do it by myself, like drilling holes. He did not say that because everyone has different size doors and different openings the challenge would be that they have three different kinds of monitor stuff. There's where some knowledge would have been nice to have. My doors and windows are in set in such a way the equipment did not work with my house. They said I could drop the company but then still own the equipment. Everybody was very helpful, though, and tried to help find a solution to my issue. They were very nice and were always apologizing.

    To make the equipment work we used tape and put new things apart. But it was hot here so the tape started peeling and the equipment fell out. All throughout that time I would talk to their people and they kept trying to figure it out. We ended up drilling holes in all of my doors and installing the magnets inside the doors. Now, it's perfect and it works.

    I have the high upgrade system with the motherboard. I got two or three months free out of them because my motherboard broke and they had to send me another one. Then six months later the whole system turned off and they had to send me another set and this is only in a year. So they were really nice to me. Customer service has been excellent.

    The phone app which I use to come in and out of the system is good. However I wish Frontpoint was cheaper because I don't have anything extra added on. My neighbor across the street has a system he installed himself like me, has a little keychain remote and is only paying $35 a month while I'm paying almost $50. That bothered me because why do I have to pay that?

    We got all the Frontpoint devices installed and the instructions were all clear. It was really quite simple. At that point, we called and told them to send us a couple of them because they needed to be lined up, but that took 20 minutes to solve and we were good to go. The customer service has been great as well. We haven't had to call many times but they've been helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We also use their interactive feature most of the time and that was a big selling point. I could take off for work and remember that I forgot to arm the house then I'd pull up my phone and arm it.     The interactive feature of the system is one of the reasons I went with Frontpoint. The only thing I wish they added, which I don't know if they even can, is the ability to have a timer to turn on and off the alarm system. We're observant Jews, so Friday night we can't use electronics through Saturday night. And right now, I have to disengage the sensors that match up to the doors I knew were gonna open. But that makes me feel a little exposed. And if there was a way it could automatically turn on at 1:00 in the morning and automatically turn off at 6:00 in the morning, that would be great. Other than that, I feel more secure with Frontpoint.

    Frontpoint has been perfect and I have no complaints. But my alarm hasn't gone off so I haven't had to have the service portion of it other than the initial installation and walking through the armament of it. I ordered the package online from someone that referred it and the first phone call I had with them was to technical support once I got everything installed following the instructions in the box. It was very easy and simplistic to install and I was very impressed when after I installed things, they set up the system so that if a zone goes off, they can say that the alarm there is going off. They could tell me if it was in my daughter's room or the front bedroom and that was nice. I know they have the apps on the phone and different things like that and I like them but I haven't taken advantage of any of that.

    I enjoy the comfort of having a security alarm. I will not have a place that doesn't have one because I have had two home burglaries in the past. Having the Frontpoint system requires a little bit of investment upfront but it's versatile because if I'm a renter and if I move, I could take the system with me. I like that flexibility.     Frontpoint seemed to be what we needed for the price and it was a piece of cake when we installed the system. We use their app quite a bit too although we had a couple of items that went haywire. One of the issues was we swear we armed it but come to find out it wasn’t armed a while later. We're also still trying to sort out the auto triggering of the cameras. We had some issues with just sunlight and cloud kicking them off on certain days. We might have had the sensitivity up too high. There also seems to be times when the camera recording starts a little late for the event like as we walk in from the garage door, it may not even catch us coming in before it starts. But those aside, it's been fine with Frontpoint.

    I had ADT before and it was fine for what I needed at the time. But they never followed up with me. Their equipment was getting old and the contract ended but they never called to renew it. I started to look online and after seeing Frontpoint had a much better rating and review, I went for them. I had to get help in the steps in installing the camera because I have to hook it up to a network cable at a certain time but it all went pretty well. They were very courteous on the phone and very helpful. They've given me very good customer support any time I've ever called them.

    The only surprise part for me was they don't provide external cameras and I had to procure my own outside camera system. From the view point of a consumer, if I'm paying to secure my home, the security of a home should be based on levels of security and the first level would be outside in hopes that intruders won't ever get in the house. And technically I may not have any need for internal security if I can find a way to alert myself with my outdoor cameras. Frontpoint also does not provide the button that can be used in case of any medical issue or the thing in the car that can be pushed to send off the alarms. ADT had that which my wife really missed. Also, it's very important that I can access the system anytime and anywhere. I've had arming and disarming notifications come through my email and it lets me know if I don't arm at a certain time. But I'm not noticing any kind of other notification or interactive part of it.

    I've had ADT before in Florida, but I moved so I tried Frontpoint. They said it was easy to hook up that's why I went with them. It was easy to install, but it's not everything I would have liked it. My interaction with the team has been good, but the equipment isn't the best. They wanted me to fix the screen myself, but I told them I won't fix them and they could send a new one instead. I also wish it would come with a camera with a monthly service fee.     I called Frontpoint a few months ago to speak with someone because the installation process is supposed to be easy, but some of our sensors have never worked since we started. I wanted to call and cancel it because of the service that I received. The representative was knowledgeable but not very empathetic. He said that it was my fault for not calling in and telling them that there was an issue but my point is that most companies can look online and see that the system hasn't been turned on or used. Still, the gentleman told me that I was in contract so I had to pay if we did cancel. But right now, we are paying without utilizing the system. I think getting Frontpoint was a mistake and pretty much has been a waste of money so far.

    I did some research online and called a couple of different places. It was around the holidays and Frontpoint was running a special. Since they offered a better monthly rate than the others, I decided to go with them. The installation was a little too easy and their reps have been very helpful. I called them to ask about what I should do if someone were to be in the house with me and telling me to punch the code in. So they helped me to set up a separate code. The interactive features are also great. The only other thing I've been concerned about is that if I ever need them right away, I'm not really keen on how calling through the 1-800 number works. I would call 911 if it was an emergency but it'd be nice to have a direct line to get right to someone and tell them that my alarm has gone off.

    The Frontpoint alarm system’s been great. Their team is always very helpful and there's never a problem, even when I’ve needed new backings for the alarms. I haven’t had any major emergencies this year but even when I trip the alarm by accident, it alerts me to my phone that there was a pending alarm. When I had to have windows put in, I was able to quickly take the sensors off and put them back. There’s been a couple of times where I have a little trouble opening the app, but not too many times that it’s become a hassle. I like the fact that customer service is in this country and I’m talking to somebody who can very quickly help me.

    It’s also really nice to be able to check if the system is armed or if I forgot. I was away last week but I was able to see the person who was taking care of my house and my dog as well as their activity coming in and out of the house, which is a nice feature. The true test will be if something ever happens, but nothing’s happened so far. I always feel very secure knowing that I’m going to be alerted if someone walks in my door or comes through my window.

    I had to have a security system in place because our house was completely unprotected. I got Frontpoint last March and I love the remote feature. I'm also very pleased with the glass breakage detectors. You can clap and see that they're working and the batteries work for three years. I like the ease of installation and the low intrusion factor. It does not really look like you have it set up. The fact that it's completely wireless is a big boon for my wife because she hates wires. I like the command center that has a nice picture on it. It's pleasant and when you open the door, you can audibly hear it say in a computer voice when I press the button, "system armed away mode". It's a nice confirmation. We've never had a false alarm because it's either we've never have been broken into or we've never forgotten it and had it to go off.

    I downgraded from the initial which was pricey. It had a breakage concept where if somebody broke in and immediately ripped the control module off the wall, it would still maintain the alert. That feature was 20 extra bucks a month. So, I figured if somebody could get into the house and figure out where the control module was and disable it within 60 seconds, they're better than I am. So to save the money, I dropped back to the economy plan because the control module is in the center of the house and they would have to physically break in, find the module and disable it. By that time, it would've sent the alert out. My wife has said that there are other systems on the market now that are far less expensive from the monitoring perspective and we spend around 30 bucks a month, but I don't know how effective those systems are.

    If somebody is looking to protect their house, Frontpoint is probably the easiest system to set up, the least intrusive from a home decor perspective to keep the wife happy and it's intuitive, easy to use and it has worked on the occasions where I've had a couple of false alarms so I know that it's happening. My only suggestion for Frontpoint is that they could call me every couple of months to do a systems test. There is a way that they could provide a higher level of confidence if they could be proactive with their current customer base.

    I'm pretty happy with Frontpoint for the most part. But once in a while, the system doesn't work. For instance, I punch in my security code but it doesn't take it. I have to unplug it, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in again in order to get it working. It's frustrating. My unit wasn't working at all so I called Frontpoint and they walked me through different steps but it still didn't work. So I had to mail the unit back, then they sent me a refurbished one.

    I've used Frontpoint for a year now. Installing the security device was very complicated, but the team helped us through it and were friendly. Using the interactive features is very convenient. However, there are times that it cannot confirm that the message has been received when I'm trying to arm it through the app. But then when I got back in and look, I'd noticed that it has been armed. Also, some of the contacts that are used on the doors are really hokey. We continuously have problems with one of 'em on the doors. We've tried different applications on trying to get it to stick. It's very temperamental and it also does false alarms on the doors and the windows.

    Installing the Frontpoint security device was fairly easy to do. It wasn't exactly like the instruction said because my door insets weren't exactly like the diagram, but it was easy to figure out. I called them once to ask one question and they answered the phone promptly and gave me direct answers.     The installation wasn't a piece of cake. My house is already pre-wired and I had to put different magnets in because Frontpoint has bigger ones. Otherwise, it's been pretty much the same as it was before, except with the added convenience of being able to do it away from the house.     One of my complaints is that the only way I can pay Frontpoint is by giving my credit card number and letting them charge that regularly as opposed to me paying a bill. I'm not accustomed to taking care of bills in that manner and I was put off by it at the start. But after using it for a couple of years, I'm okay with it although I would prefer a more traditional means by which I could pay my bill. To me, it's a little insulting to have somebody bend you over the hood of the car like that in order to ensure themselves that they're gonna get their money from you. But I understand that they probably dealt with people from time to time that weren’t financially responsible and so they have to resort to those means. I think they get a very high ranking in the alarm industry. They're up there shoulder to shoulder with other companies that are at the top of the line.

    I've installed Frontpoint at three different homes so I've called three times to do installations. It took a little while, but it was pretty straightforward and fairly easy. I've called a few other times to add additional features, like the Z-Wave thermostat and Z-Wave front doorknobs. In one of the homes I switched from the original system and found it easy to switch the parts over. But I don't know if the Z-Wave stuff from Frontpoint is compatible with it.

    Being able to remotely access the system has been life-changing to me. I can change the thermostat at a place that is hundreds of miles away from me or assign somebody a passcode so they can enter the house and disarm, which I often use. The system has been extremely user-friendly. But it'll be nice to be able to do things with the alarm via voice command, like turn lights on and off, set the alarm and change the temperature in the house. If Frontpoint and the technology could do that, that would be a big plus.

    I did a Google search on people's opinion on best security systems and Frontpoint came on. I requested a dependable, reliable company and they were rated number one, so I basically went with them. The installation was real easy. I got everything situated, I put all the alarms up, and then I called them to verify. They went over everything with me and made sure all the systems were activated and were functioning properly. At one point, I had a problem with my system and they told me it was probably low batteries but they told me what to do. I unplugged it, reset it, and haven't had a problem with it since. They've always been very helpful anytime I've had any kind of discrepancy with the way the system worked, which hasn't been very often. It's been very reliable and easy to use.

    We've been using Frontpoint for about a year now. We also use the interactive features all the time and they're very easy and a definite hundred percent plus. It's nice knowing that I can leave and as soon as the system goes off, they're going to call me. I was on an airplane at Cleveland Hopkins Airport getting ready to take off when they called me and let me know that I had two inner alarms go off. It was my stepson who was not allowed in the house had actually broken a window and got in through the basement. So they were able to dispatch the sheriff's department and they got there and checked the house but he was already gone due to the fact that the alarm had gone off. I feel a hundred percent comfortable and relieved at the same time that I have them to monitor my home while I'm gone.

We had a faulty motion detector, so I went through the steps to figure out whether it was the motion detector or not, and they replaced it. We've been using Frontpoint’s interactive features to arm and disarm the system, and in fact, it's why we got it. The system works how we thought it would work. We’re still renovating the house, so we have a bunch of motion detectors right now. However, once I became a customer, the website’s unusable. I'd need it to add sensors, but I have to call in to do that or buy third-party ones.

    We started with Frontpoint this year and have had it for nine months now. I found the device easy to install. When I called the team, I didn't talk to a machine and press any menus. They always answer the phone and they didn't put me on hold for a long time. There was one time when the police came to the door while we were in Europe for vacation because we changed the code and didn't tell our son. The Frontpoint staff were very reasonable and understanding. I also turn it on and off from my phone every now and then, which is very useful. However, it's confusing to get the three different security things straight. There's a passcode to turn off the alarm, a password to get on the site, and then there's this passphrase or security question to say if the police call and there's really nothing happening. But other than that, I'm very pleased with the service and I would recommend it to family or friends if necessary.

    Last Black Friday of 2015, my apartment got broken into. I got some precious items stolen as well as some jewelry and electronics. That's when I realized that in today's time and world, a security system is needed. It's sad but true. It's the first one that I personally own and pay for since when I was living at home in the past, I worked with ADT Security Systems.

    I treat Frontpoint like a normal home alarm system. I set the alarm when I'm away and when I go to sleep, I put the "stay" alarm on. I don't really utilize the mobile app, but it's a nice feature nonetheless. It's also really nice that they sent a free moving kit since after the break-in, I moved to a much more secure and safer location.     Frontpoint is not as good as the advertisement claims to be. The solution is to design it to be easily installed but it doesn't mean that there aren't issues. The fact that there are no wires doesn't mean that there aren't other complications. I learned that the reaction of the moving sensors is not as fast as I thought because it is wireless but it's battery saving. If someone breaks the window and enters in the room, it will not immediately trigger the movement sensor which was a disappointment. I was having issues to understand why the sensor was not triggering the alarm when I installed it myself. After talking to Frontpoint, I found that the reason is that because of the battery saving features, the sensor works from time to time. It may identify that somebody is in the room but not immediately.

    Even though I am quite happy with the Frontpoint system overall, another disappointment is that the platform on the mobile doesn't allow me to bypass some specific sensors. For example, I want to customize the alarm home stay and home away but I cannot do that. It's a preset, and home away includes the movement sensors and home stay excludes those sensors. I have a pet so I cannot keep the pet in one room to not trigger the alarm. I have to have them circulating in the house. It would be very useful if I would be able to say, "Today I would like to activate the sensors in one room" for example. I can do that in the panel but I never use it. I'm always rushing and having to leave the home very quickly so I use my mobile. Sometimes I cannot fully use the system because of these difficulties.

    Frontpoint doesn't do what ADT did. If a fire alarm or smoke alarm would go off for whatever reason, ADT would call right away. I heard nothing from Frontpoint when the battery went off and it started making a noise. I don't know why it did. But nobody called me to see if anything was okay or not. It's kind of, "Here's the equipment. Turn it on. Goodbye." You never hear from them again. I feel less secure with Frontpoint. The installation was easy. Then, when I had a question and tried to call the salesperson back but they wouldn't even give me his number to talk to him directly. They said that I wouldn't be having any more contacts with the salesman. That kind of pissed me off.

    We used to have ADT, but we had a problem with false alarms on the windows and the sun room and they think the best to fix that would be to upgrade the system rather than fix it, so we switched to Frontpoint. I've used them for a little bit more than a year now, but I still kept getting false alarms. So I called them up to find out what was gonna cost me to pay Frontpoint off and then go off and look for another system. But the person I went on talking to had me mail back the motion detectors and sent me the actual modules that go into windows and doors and a discount. Their salesperson convinced me that the motion detectors were the way to go and it worked out very good. I was amazed.

    I have the app on my phone and I always use it when I set my alarm. I check it on the way out when I'm driving away to make sure that I get an alert if there's an alarm that goes off, though now thankfully haven't had any false alarms. They have always been really professional and have done a great job. They've been very responsive and someone would listen to me and take care of it when I have a complaint.     I've used Frontpoint as my home security service provider for about a year, plus or minus. Before I got them, I had ADT. Price is pretty much the same with both security providers. However, compared to ADT, Frontpoint gives me the flexibility to be able to add peripherals, like the contacts and the cameras. Furthermore, with Frontpoint, I can set my alarm remotely, which I thought I was going to get with ADT, but apparently for some reason I didn't end up getting this feature with ADT.

    It was very simple and easy to install the Frontpoint security device, even down to the motion detectors. Everything was self-explanatory. It was a pretty quick process that allowed me the ability to look around and see where I actually wanted to set up my equipment, such as the door contacts and window sensors, without being pressured, as I had been previously with the ADT reps that came to my home, in directing them on where I wanted to put in the equipment.

    Everyone that I have ever talked to at Frontpoint has been very professional. They've probably given me more information than what I needed at the time, but this is not to say that I don't welcome their information, but just that it was good information that I didn't have to use yet at that time, but would probably be using at some point in the future.

    I've used with my phone Frontpoint's interactive features, like being able to arm or disarm my system using my phone or computer. Compared to setting my system manually, the only difference that I see is that the system doesn't arm as quickly, probably a minute later, when I do this via my phone. Nonetheless, I love that feature. It's been a pretty pleasurable experience overall with Frontpoint. Although there's really not any difference in my sense of security and level of confidence from what these had been before, since installing my Frontpoint system, I now have the added comfort of knowing that I have a security service.

    I got Frontpoint because my son had moved out when he got married. I felt okay when he was there but after he left, it was just different. And I missed that sense of security that's why I installed the security system and I feel so much better. I feel like that if someone goes to break in that I will have that warning. The alarms gonna go off, and something's gonna happen to give me that amount of time that I need to get protection.

    When we moved in we updated the Frontpoint system the previous owners had and we installed everything ourselves. We had a technician on the phone who walked us through the whole thing. We put an alarm on every single window and door so it took a little while, but once it was done it was fine. Their team was really helpful and very knowledgeable. They were able to give us all of the information to help us make the decision that was best for us and choose the best option. Every time we’ve had an issue moving forward, they’ve always been able to walk us through what we need to do.

    We usually arm the Frontpoint system through our phone as we’re walking out of the house. If our cleaning lady’s going to come in we don’t have to keep the alarm off.     Frontpoint's quality testing of their equipment needs a lot of improvement. I've had multiple devices fail and the troubleshooting part that involves the sensors don't do anything. There are things that are okay for weeks and months and then all of sudden a device malfunctions. These are home security systems, so when that happens multiple times with different devices I have to wonder how reliable the whole system is.

    We had Time Warner Security and switched to Frontpoint because of the cost and the fact that they're wireless. My husband works third shift which is why we got home security. Frontpoint installation was simple as pie and we've been using them for almost a year now. The Frontpoint team was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always there if I needed them. We always do the arming or disarming off of our phone and it’s awesome especially when we’re down the street or two hours later and realized we forgot to do that. The only thing I would like to suggest is for them to have a package that has the camera that could view the house instead of just the camera that’s on the actual monitor.     Peeling stickers is not rocket science so self-installing the Frontpoint device was relatively easy. I set it up, stick them on, then called the customer service and they dialed everything in. It's a little bit on the high side cost-wise, but their employees have been good so far. They've always been willing to solve the problem I had when getting my first unit because it was shipped to the wrong address. But mistakes happen and they got one sent out right away. I like that I get to control the system from my phone from time to time.

    Sometimes I'm a little afraid if I lose my phone because somebody's gonna be able to do it. But if I needed to, I'm sure I can call them up and have them change my code so that's not that big of a deal. If my house gets broken into, I'm more comfortable with the fact that it can get dealt with instead of coming back and finding stuff gone. But from time to time the alarm does not disarm correctly. So basically I walk in and press the button and it locks up and then goes through like a minute of resetting. It's happened less as of late but it happened pretty frequently in the first year. And sometimes it would re-arm armed or re-arm disarmed. So that was a concern that randomly somebody could have broken into the house and the alarm would have just reset and in disarm form.

    Installing our Frontpoint device was simple. All the instructions were in the packet so all we had to do was connect the system. I called the representative who helped me set up everything. That was easy. And I just stuck the devices on to the windows and into the room. The only concern I have is the update in the system. It shut off by itself then I had to call and reactivate it.     We've had so many issues with Frontpoint's panel. We're on our third panel and it keeps freezing up and we have to keep resetting it. I've talked to a representative and we tried to get someone after hours, but we couldn't get anyone. So we couldn't set the alarm on our home when we went away. If someone had broken in, the panel would've been frozen up and we would have never known. I've asked them many times and they'd say they'll replace it at no cost. I asked if the replacement was refurbished and they said it wasn't. But why are there pictures of someone else’s family on my panel? I called them as soon as I saw that and they told me it was impossible since I have a brand new box.

    We pay a lot of money for Frontpoint every month and if I had Comcast or ADT, I wouldn't have to worry about it. We had ADT before, and it is available 24/7 while Frontpoint is not. We'd actually pay less with that but we don't want to have to pay out of our contract right now. But if we had the opportunity to have someone buy us out of our contract, we would definitely do it.

    I like the idea that I could install the Frontpoint security device myself, but on the other side I was feeling a little insecure. We had one sensor that started failing and we were guided to order another one. We did that, installed it and now it's working. That was a good process. However, I was pissed because I threw away the sensor that was not working, and then I discovered that I was being charged $60 plus for the sensor because I did not return it. It was not clear in the package I received that I had to return it so that was disappointing.

    The terminal is very slow to respond to code entry sometimes and it freezes on me and then it has to reboot. It’s also a little bit touchy. I'm in a rush and all of a sudden I'm stuck in front of my terminal to make sure that the alarm didn’t go off. That’s another thing that could be improved on. Apart from that, it works. I like the idea that I can monitor from my cellphone what’s going on. We were in Africa for a vacation and we could still check on the alarm system from there, so that was good.

    I use all of Frontpoint's interactive features. My only irk is that the system doesn't seem to automatically update even though it is set to do that. It works fine for months but then at some point, it stops and you have to go through a two-hour long troubleshooting process with support that ends with downloading these updates that should be coming through periodically to keep it functioning. Also, when it breaks, it tends to break pretty hard. I'm not sure if it’s a programming or coding thing. But then their sales rep was quite pleasant.

    A friend of mine turned me on to cellular connectivity technology via a competitor, and after doing even more research about that competitor and Frontpoint, I decided to go with Frontpoint.     When we got to the house, the price of the previous security provider was way too much and we feared that it was not being monitored. Also, it's not wireless so we switched to Frontpoint. The installation of the security device was super easy. I called in and the tech was really kind. He broke it down really simply and told me what to do. I did what he asked and it was really quick that it took me 10 minutes to do it. Then when I called in, he answered on the first time. There was no waiting and that was pretty big for us.

    We also called their customer service when one of the cats lost the magnet piece for the door and we did that a couple of times. They were really kind about getting us back up and running to a hundred percent.     I've been with Frontpoint for about a year now but before this, I was with another provider. I had trouble getting service with the other provider, wherein 'no service' would come up on the read out. They would call or I would get a text if the power is off or to let me know that the system is on, but during the weekend, I would receive texts saying there wasn't any service. The weekend is when I really need the service, so I got rid of it.

    I just looked through online for another provider and found Frontpoint. The service was great while getting the system hooked up, we worked with really great people. Installation was fairly easy. The only issue I have had is that a motion detector was too close to a window so that any kind of bird activity, like a bird flying up or on windows, sets it off. But their friendly and courteous people worked with me in moving the motion detector so we got it straightened out. With Frontpoint, I know the windows and doors are pretty well secured when we're not at home. It's a great experience.

My alarm went off one time by accident when my daughter was having a slumber party. The girls were giggling and set the glass break off.     Frontpoint is a rip-off deal. We tried to install the system but the motion detectors never came on. They said maybe those are not the right ones so they sent other motion detectors. These still didn't work and they told me maybe it's too cold in the house. I was building this construction in the house then. Now we got everything squared away and it still does not work. They never called back to ask if there’s something they could do to help us or if they can try something. My wife tried to call several times but it's very poor communication. She got tired of calling them and now thinks it's a very cheap system.

    Frontpoint has very bad service and the customer service is worse. They have no worth of price on the front, charge extra money each month and get people fined in the contract. That’s where they are making money. They keep taking money out and not even take this thing to make it work. We've had it for seven or eight months and had been paying $44 each month. I want to see if I could even stop them taking my money out for payment. I made a mistake and they tied us up on a two-year lease. I've been thinking about searching for another company so I could have an alarm system in my house. We're very disappointed.

    My sister uses the Frontpoint home security system and she was really happy with it.     We had something stolen off the property and we were afraid that somebody could break in just as easily. That's why we installed the Frontpoint. We feel a little bit better about it. It was simple to install, but I did have some problems getting the sensors to stick on the doors and the door frame. So I had to re-order more sticky material to make it work. There should be a little bit more of that tape in there to make it a little easier to do and a little more dependable. These things and even the house is depending on these sensors so they ought to be a way so that they don't fall or drop because if it drops a little bit and the gap is too big then it won't work.

    The team has been pleasant, friendly and helpful. I just called the number and gave them the password. There's been a few times when there was a little bit of a wait time but all in all it was good. Their interactive features using the phone seems to work. It's a nice feature to be able to do. If I forget to arm it, I can do it while away and I can look into the phone and tell me if it's armed. Though I'm not sure if it's a safe way to do it.

    There's a lot of security systems out there and some of them are a lot more elaborate but a lot more expensive cost to turn on it. We did have a couple of other motion sensors that we bought and places inside the house but we don't always activate them. We have cats roaming around inside the house so it's kind of tricky about that. We have a two storey house and the pets sometimes go up and down the steps. So when they get up off the ground, on the steps the sensor might catch their motion and trigger it.

    We haven't had a lot of problems and it's been going for several months in a row without any glitches. I like to have cameras that would take pictures of people if they were coming around the house, but it's costly. Other than that, it's a good and affordable system that will at least give you some peace of mind that's fairly simple to operate.

    My husband did some investigating, looked online for different security systems and how they're rated. My Frontpoint device is portable so I can install it myself and if I move, I can take it with me. The sales rep was very good, and the customer service is excellent. The only time that I ever had a problem was that the actual home screen had to be updated which I'm assuming any computer generated device has to do that. So the problem was setting off the alarm when it shouldn't have but that only happened once, I quickly called customer service and they figured the problem out.

    I had an awesome experience in installing the Frontpoint security device. It was reasonably easy and the customer service is excellent. But the installation process is not fast. I had to make an appointment with somebody, sit on the phone with them for a couple of hours and go through each process and make sure each piece is working properly. But it's very well organized and the reps took it slowly because they want it to be right which is good. I also use the app online and on my phone to do various things with the system. However, I didn’t like doing the installation all by myself. It's not really difficult, but I just wish there was some help offered. Nevertheless, I had excellent interactions with their reps and I definitely feel more secure now. I use their interactive feature regularly and it’s awesome. I just wish somebody could come to my home and give me a tutorial. If it was possible, there are more products that I want, but I'd like somebody to come to my home and help me with them. Overall, they’re a great company and it's a great product.

    The Frontpoint device was easy to install. We've set the alarm off a couple of times but those weren't a big deal. Arming and disarming through my smartphone is primarily how I use the system. I wouldn't have gotten Frontpoint if I couldn't use my phone to do so. We travel a lot and the security system is more for when we're away than when we're home. But everything's been as advertised and as expected. Frontpoint's been fine for us.

    I've used Frontpoint for over a year. Before I got them, I used Vector Security. Of those two services, I prefer Vector because it was cheaper. I'm sure I can find cheaper security services available right now. Nevertheless, I've had a good experience overall with Frontpoint. It was easy installing my security device. Since installing it, I feel way safer. I use Frontpoint's interactive features all the time, like being able to arm or disarm my system using my phone or computer. This feature is okay and works fine. However, sometimes when the alarm sets off, nobody calls. I hope it's just because the Frontpoint guys see in the monitor that everything's okay. But with another security company, whenever the alarm would set off, they would always call just to verify that everything is okay.

    I was doing a search for different security providers in our area. It had been so long since we had had a security, we thought we might want to put one back on. And Frontpoint had the best rating. Installing Frontpoint was very easy. They sent us the stuff that was already preprogrammed. And once we put it in, we had one sensor that malfunctioned. They took it back immediately and then sent us another one. The team has always been extremely helpful in any of my needs whenever I call them. We also have armed and disarmed the system using their app and it’s extremely important to my husband and me because we are on the road most of the time. We have a tractor trailer that we operate from coast to coast. We’re extremely satisfied with Frontpoint.
