Neighbor getting service from them. I came home to find 2 trucks with trailers blocking my driveway and parked on my road which is private. I told them they were blocking my driveway and he said have you ever heard of an easement? I explained what an easement is and what it's used for and that it's not there to park on and block the person who owns the property. I told them to move which they eventually did. They also started digging holes in MY backyard before I got home from work and not the customer who hired them. They admitted one of them screwed up. I had to ask if they were going to fix the holes and he said he would send the guy to do it.

A futile attempt was made at filling the holes by him stepping on the holes and not putting the dirt back in. Sarcastic and non apologetic for their mistakes. Would never use them for anything with that attitude from their service people. Can't even give service to the right house. Incompetent at best with attitude to go along with it.

Not reliable. I spoke with a representative at Florida Pest Control who scheduled me for a particular date and time and I also received a confirmation email. I stayed home that day to await the inspection and finally at 4:30 I receive a text from the technician saying my appointment is for the following week. I called him back to say today was the scheduled day, but he said that I was not on the schedule for today. I told him that I was staring at the email telling me today was the correct date and time. He did not come over and continued to say that I was not on the schedule for today. I called the company and they said he was unable to make it to my house so I was left without the inspection. Florida Pest Control used to be a reliable company but things have changed.

I signed up for service to treat ants in September. It was explained to me that the initial service would be $190. I was then told someone would come back in 3 months, January, and that would cost $47. That's what I was told. Now I'm being charged $47 EVERY month. I'm sure I signed something saying this, but I have no copies of my signed documents. They were never offered to me. I'm going to cancel the service completely and take my business to a company that actually honors the words they speak.

I used Florida Pest Control for 20 years. It was reliable, transparent, and reasonable. That is until Rentokil in Ohio took over the company. Rentokil price gouges, does not disclose what the service is actually covering, and harasses customers to pay weeks in advance without a commitment to providing the service. Last year I paid in advance as requested but the Ohio office continued to call, text, and email the same invoice daily. I had to contact the local office that confirmed I already paid, and to stop the Ohio office from harassing me. This year, they did the same thing, but I decided to cancel the service and go with another LOCAL company with 5-star ratings. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear from these people.

They actually rank negative stars, one is too good for them. I started service with them about three years ago because of a mice problem in my fence. They gave conflicting answers as to if they treated mice outside or inside. After signing up, it was just inside pests. I got some 365 pest program at $36.31/month and they treat once every three months for anything ‘on the structure’.

So when they advertise pest control on their website and show bees… they say the hive has to be attached to the home. That way, if you have wasps in the grass, like I do, they try to get you to buy LAWN SERVICE. I had them come out to treat the bees today after my dog was bitten and he said he only had his wand and couldn’t do ‘spot treatments’. I would need lawn service and they would bring their truck. They act like they’re rocket scientists explaining quantum physics to a child……

“We have two lawn services, one treats the lawn and one treats the pests killing the lawn”………would I like to pay for the pests killing my lawn on top of the pests that cross the border to my structure? I need to ask the bees where they live and get them to join my HOA, I guess. I cancelled Florida Pest non-control today, to include the termite control they’re robbing me of, and so should everyone who has them. I will never refer them to anyone and I hope they get the karma they’re issuing out to customers.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I scheduled a service with Jpaul ** to remove a wasp nest, and the technician arrived and stated he didn’t have the proper tools to reach the nest and would have to come back. The job was never completed, no one followed up or communicated after making an attempt to call the Inspector who scheduled the service. However I received several statements showing that owed. I reached out to cancel the service and was co texted by Brittany ** who told me a technician had been to my home when in fact no one ever showed up to my home. I was present all day — no call, no knock, no visit. Yet, this company is attempting to charge me for a service that was never provided.

This is dishonest and feels like a scam. I have proof that the issue remains unresolved. When I reached out to address it, I was met with unprofessionalism and harassment for payment I do not owe. I do not recommend this company to anyone. If you’re looking for reliable, honest service — look elsewhere. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will pursue this matter to the fullest extent.

This pest control service has gone down the tubes since Terminix got involved. They had not properly turned in a check or two over the past year and one is still outstanding. I paid my technician at the end of EVERY service. Although I am a good customer and have even called them to remedy this situation, they turn me over to a collection agency. I paid the bill today and swiftly cancelled my service. I was told that this had happened to another customer a while back by a technician, but I just didn't think that it would happen to me.

I opted for Florida Pest Control based on the previous owner's recommendation, expecting a smooth transition. I invested in bug/yard and termite protection, including the FPC Legacy Drywood Warranty at $166.88 and the Termite Renewal Warranty at $386.40. Payment was made on March 10, with the assurance from Florida Pest Control that it coincided with the previous contract's expiration. However, they failed to fulfill their end of the agreement by not providing the termite service. Despite contacting them twice, no service was provided. Fed up with their lack of action, I've decided to cancel my contract.

Now, they're dragging their feet on issuing a refund, repeatedly claiming the issue is resolved and promising someone will contact me within 24 hours. Frustrated by their incompetence, I'm escalating the matter by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and utilizing the free legal resources provided by my company. Dealing with these inept excuses from companies is unacceptable. It's concerning that their presence isn't noticeable in any neighborhoods. Witnessing such consistent failures in prioritizing customer care is disheartening.

This is the worst company I have ever contacted with. After signing the contract I have made couple payments then they told me that I have $300 more to be set for the whole year which I paid. Now they are sending me bill statements saying that I still owed $174. Few weeks back when I called in this regard, the representative told me that it was a mistake and it will be taken care of and as a result they will give me a free test to compensate for my troubles. I received the same message again today that my account is delinquent and I have to pay the $174. Unbelievable. Is this a scam or what? I therefore called the customer service again and was told that they can not help me and someone has to call me to discuss it with me. This is bad. There is no way around it, I paid for whole year until Sept 2024. Unbelievable.

We had an excellent experience for pest control, so we opted to add the lawn care to our service. They mistakenly applied treatment to our front yard Bahia the same as our back yard St Augustine and they KILLED our front lawn. It’s literally DIRT!! In the attached picture, this is the start of the dying process, the little green at the top was the overflow from the St. Augustine from the backyard, and what little grass there was of the Bahia it’s now gone. After months of calling for a fix, their suggestion was to lay rye down now and then they’d come back in the spring to throw down Bahia seed!!! This company literally killed 2k worth of sod and will not make it right even after admitting it was their mistake that caused the death of our front lawn!! BEWARE!
