Floor Coverings International offers an all-in-one approach to having new floors installed. While the company has a variety of materials you can browse on its website, the company brings a mobile showroom with more than 3,000 product options to your home for your initial in-home consultation so you can see how different flooring options look in your home.
The company’s employees help you choose the right flooring for your home during your free initial in-home consultation, which takes around 90 minutes. FCI’s team helps you design your space and answer any questions you have about each type of floor you’re interested in and its installation requirements.

We had some work done on our home. The vinyl flooring was done so poorly the padding was so thin, that floors are so cold. The trim along the edges were horrible, corners were not metered. Casey owns the business yet knows very little. His help are not professional either. Also the job was to be done in 2 days it was 4. And we have a couple dogs, and they have to dress in full Armour to work in your home. These guys are truly pathetic. They were called 6 times to come and replace the trim and they still have not done so. If you would like pictures contact Better Business Bureau.
We apologize for your experience, Chester. As we mentioned when we spoke, the vinyl was installed following the manufacturer's guidelines, but the cold floor issue is due to the lack of insulation in your mobile home, which we could not address due to budget constraints. It is important to note that we issued a credit. We acknowledge that the project took longer than anticipated; however, this was communicated transparently. We encourage you to call us again if there is anything else we can do.

Floor Coverings International Greater Pittsburgh replaced the tile floor in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. We had a contract that was agreed and signed before the work began. After the work was done and the final payment was made they wanted an additional $500. The only additional material they had to buy was two bags of thin set and additional box of grout which should have been calculated for during the quote. He took my wife to the corner of the room that day and whispered he wanted more money. After the fact I contacted him and told him the additional money wasn't right. I told him I had done the following things that wasn't my job to do but I did thinking the agreed upon price would be lowered.
2.) Prepped Garage for tile work.
3.) Was initially told would start Wednesday 31 Jan and didn’t drop off equipment till Friday 2 Feb late in the afternoon. Started on the job 5 Feb.
4.) Picked up tile myself and hauled it to the house and had to hand unload the 15 bags of thin set.
5.) Removed interior doors.
6.) Allowed installer to use my hammer drill.
7.) Picked up 2 sheets of ½” plywood and returned.8.) Removed the nails on 2 sheets of 3/8” plywood over lament and then reattached.
9.) Helped installer to lift and shim hardwood floors. Took about 3 hours.
12.) Reinstalled all appliances except the fridge.
13.) Spent 3 hours to clean the floor.
14.) Reinstalled the interior doors.
15.) Electric heater in garage ran for many days.16.) Repaired and wood filled, sanded, and stained cuts of wood flooring.
17.) Replaced wax seal on toilet drain
18.) They used the upstairs bathroom for three weeks.
The floor company said I slowed the installer by helping him the day we shimmed the hardwood floor. On that day the installer thanked me numerous times and said I saved him time.
