He resent the email, placed me on hold and spoke with Bi-Polar to confirm that the work order was approved. Mario took the extra step to ensure my needs were met. He provided great customer service.

Mario was extremely professional and very serious about fixing my problem that I had with the AC company that came out yesterday. The serviceman told me that my AC drain was clogged and it was NOT covered by my home warranty - but he could take care of it for an additional $185.00. I told him NO, gave him a $75.00 check and he left me, a 76 year old woman with cancer with NO AC. Mario is having the serviceman diagnosis in writing and he is coming back to blow out my AC clogged drain. It's so unusual to get this type of Customer Service these day, I certainly appreciate Mario and his work ethic. Thank You.

Biggest scam I have seen, I let these people convince me to change to their company and they had done nothing but lied about their service, it's been 2 months since I made a claim with them. Haven't heard nothing yet, on top of that the claim was for a plumbing issue and it cost me 450 dollars out of pocket because I could not wait until they could find someone to come out. Had to go ahead and get someone or have a lot of water damage to my home. They said they was going to reimburse me if that what I needed to do, they only offered me 150 dollars, and it's been over two months, and they still haven't paid me that for my claim.

In the contract it says they will pay up to 500 dollars for a problem like that. So don't believe nothing they say, I regret the fact I changed from the company I was with only because they offered a better price. I guess I got what I paid for. Never had this problem with the company I was with for over two years, what a fool I Was. My receipt is attached to Prove what I am saying is true, I was only supposed to pay a 75-dollar deductible. Which turned out to be not true. Another reason I changed to them because the company I was with had a 100-dollar deductible, they made all these promises to just get my business, and it all turned out to be lies.

One star is too high. I purchased a 5 year home warranty from this fraud/scam company for over $2500. with a $45 copay, I was told I would be covered for 6 years, I put in a claim after about 2 months for my TV because I also had electronics coverage when I got the warranty I was told there was no copay on the electronics. I was offered $150. For the TV I said ok, After 41/2 Months of calling, Multiple hang ups, Unlimited lies from the NOT customer Service reps, I received a check only problem is it was $105. Not the $150. We agreed on.

I decided to cancel the warranty at that time I was told that I had to have keep the warranty for 1 year before I could cancel. So I waited the Year and put in a cancellation. That was on 04.07.26. They sent me a letter stating that they were going to Keep $1459. of my $2500+ that I paid because of the $105 they paid me plus cancellation fees, I called there asking what they were talking about and was told very rudely that's the way it is, I said ok I said to myself take the $1050. and Be done with these guys.

Ok so on 04/07/26 that's the date they received my Cancellation after weeks of runaround trying to get them to send me the form that they said I had to fill out. Well today Is 08.05.26 after months of phone calls, Unlimited hang up and lies and Unanswered emails once again, I still Have not received my Money. Please for your sanity as well as your money do "NOT" purchase a warranty from this Scam company. I've been lied to so often told that someone would call me back which never happens... Purchasing the warranty is probably the worse decision I have made in my 65 years of life. DON'T DO IT, you will be sorry

They never canceled the old policy, so I ended up paying for two warranties at once. When my dryer broke shortly after coverage began, I paid a $75 service fee, only to learn that most repairs were excluded. Their contract has so many exclusions that the coverage was far less than I was led to believe. Customer service was difficult to reach, and I experienced rude treatment, and calls were disconnected. When I decided to cancel, I was told I had to pay another $75 fee. My experience was frustrating, expensive, and disappointing.

I've had First Premier Home Warranty for about 5 years now. In May of this year, I had to have my dryer repaired. After a few weeks, I finally had a technician come out. He submitted the bill to First Premier and apparently it was too expensive to fix. I was told if they couldn't fix it, they would replace it. When we first purchased our warranty. They offered me $160 buyout. This was back in May, and I have yet to receive any money. I've called numerous times, and they keep telling me that it'll be the following week. Now, when I call, I think my number is blocked because it constantly stays on hold and plays music. Somebody does get on the line, and I say I'm checking on a claim; they hang up on me. One person told me not to call the number back anymore. Very dissatisfied with this company. They suck. They should be sued and closed up. I will be contacting the attorney general's office here in Florida and filing a complaint with them.

I purchased the Platinum plan from March 2024 - March 2026. This is supposed to be their best plan. I paid for the full year, for two years. During this time, I made four claims. One for my HVAC system, it needed the outside AC unit replaced. This company had a contractor come to my house, completely disassemble the outside unit only to later deny the claim. I had to pay for the replacement ($2200.00). Next my inside central unit broke and needed replacing. Again, a contractor was sent out to disassemble the unit only to find out later that the claim was again denied. Cost me $1800.

There was a claim for my dryer, which was denied. Finally, a claim for my inside Evaporator, also denied. Cost me $1800.00. This company is nothing but a "SCAM". They have figured out a way to make absolutely sure that they justify denying your claim instead of approving it. All of my claims were denied. When you call there is a high level of arrogance and disrespect by the service representatives. "STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY".

First Premier Home Warranty has not honored the terms of its agreement. I had been a customer for more than a year before filing a claim on 04/14/2026 to repair the aerator in my septic system. It took about a week for a contractor to come to my home and inspect the issue. In fact, two contractors came, and each provided a different recommendation for resolving the problem. After another week, First Premier Home Warranty decided to offer me a cash-in-lieu payment instead of completing the repair.

The company then sent me a “Cash in Lieu” form, which I signed and returned on 05/05/2026. As of 07/18/2026, I still have not received the check. In June, I was told that it would take 45 days after they received the signed form for the check to be prepared and signed, followed by another two weeks before I would receive it. This delay is unreasonable, especially in today’s digital age when payments and check processing can be completed much more quickly. Based on this experience, I believe First Premier Home Warranty has handled my claim poorly and has failed to provide the service promised under its agreement.

Stay away, Stay Away, STAY AWAY!!! Their Sales Reps are personable and smooth talking but once you have purchased a plan, the customer service ends. I purchased two warranties from them, one for me and one for my daughter's home, and paid the entire annual premium upfront with a promotional offer of 2 extra "free" months on each warranty. They told my daughter that she did not have a warranty when she needed to file a claim 3 1/2 months later and again, the very next week when she needed to file another claim. Finally, after contacting her own service tech and the repairs being complete, I was able to get the claims established and confirmed with First Premier. I submitted the invoices for payment as instructed.

Three weeks went by without any contact from First Premier. I called numerous times and was left on hold for a Claims Rep to answer for extraordinarily long periods of time (most times for more than 30-45 minutes). Frustrated, I sent an email with the Claim numbers clearly indicated to the Claims Department requesting a status report. Still, no contact. Needless to say on at least a monthly basis since January, I have spoken with a Claims Rep, a Supervisor or a Manager (or at least, that is the positions they represented to me). One claim has been denied and the other claim is still unresolved. They have stated on multiple occasions that "the check is in processing", "the check will be printed and mailed within the next 7-10 days", and allegedly, a Supervisor emailed me and my daughter that a check would be printed and mailed the next day. Still, no check.

Their Claims personnel have been rude and disrespectful, they have lied and made false representations both written and verbally. Don't believe me??? Search the internet for the Consumer Affairs complaints, Insurance Department complaints and State Attorney General lawsuits and investigations that have been filed against this company. Shame on me for failing to check them out more thoroughly before i purchased what I thought was protection for my home systems and my daughter's home systems. In reality, i paid a heavy price for an abundance of aggravation, the "run around", multiple "songs and dances", lies and false representations. Stay away, Stay Away, STAY AWAY!!! I purchased a warranty from this company in January 2026, expecting timely and reliable service when I needed it. Unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. When my washer and dryer both failed within a day of each other, I promptly opened a service claim via phone call and email. I was advised that I could only open up 1 claim at a time but once the 1st claim was resolved we would immediately start the 2nd claim. The assigned contractor scheduled an appointment but did not show up. After I contacted the contractor I was told they were delayed in Macon and asked if we could reschedule. After that communication stopped completely. My calls and texts went unanswered, and I was unable to get and meaningful response from the contractor or the warranty company.

After that I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue by phone, email and text. After escalating my concerns, I eventually spoke to a claims manager who apologized, provided a claim number, and assured me a local technician would be assigned and that I would receive an email with details. As of this review I am still waiting on that follow up.

The most frustrating part hasn’t been the failure of the appliances itself, but the lack of communication, missed appointment and repeated unfulfilled promises. A home warranty is supposed to provide a peace of mind during unexpected breakdowns. Instead I have spent my time making repeated phone calls, sending emails and waiting for updates that never arrived. This week made 3 weeks sine I 1st repotted this claim. I hope this company improves on its communication, contractor oversight and response time so future customers receive the level of service that was PROMISED!! Based on my experience I cannot and will not recommend this company.

Worst company I ever dealt with. Phone hang ups, dropped calls, they don’t answer the calls and when they do you get hung up on. Pre approval is also a joke. They send you step by step instruction for pre approval the telephone number is not First Premier. It’s a Lab in California. So you’re unable to get the pre approval before the work is started even if it's an emergency like a pipe burst in the wall. They tell you it will take 24 to 48 for an approval even if it’s an emergency. This company all I can say is stay away. They're not with the aggregation. After all this then they want a $75 fee to cancel your contract.

Misleading information, poor claim handling, and unresolved service. I signed a 3-year coverage contract with First Premier Home Warranty. My claim started on April 15, 2026, and since then my experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The first technician was dispatched to my home, and I paid the required copay directly to him. He diagnosed the issue, explained which part needed to be ordered, and told me he would return within a few days to complete the repair. However, after that visit, I never heard back from him. About a week later, I attempted to contact the technician but received no response. I then called the warranty company to follow up and was informed that the technician had never submitted an invoice. I was told customer service would contact him to resolve the issue.

When I followed up again, I was given completely different information. I was told that they had spoken with the technician and that he claimed he could not determine what was wrong with the unit—which is untrue, as he had already diagnosed the problem during his visit. The company then assigned a second technician. This technician requested payment of the copay before even completing the diagnostic or coming to the home. After multiple attempts, he finally came out and confirmed the same issue as the first technician. However, he stated that he would not submit the invoice until First Premier paid him, creating further delay. When I contacted customer service again, I was told they would reach out to the technician and process payment so the claim could move forward. I was advised to call back the next day for an update.

When I called back, I was told something completely different—that the technician had been trying to contact me to schedule a diagnostic appointment because I supposedly missed an appointment, which is false since he had already come to my home the week prior. Additionally, when I personally contacted one of the technicians, he stated that he had never spoken with the warranty company at all, contradicting what their representatives told me. Another representative later claimed that there had been no phone call made—only an email. This repeated pattern of contradictory and misleading information raises serious concerns about the company’s communication, claim handling, and overall business practices.

It is unacceptable for a company to operate this way, especially when customers depend on them for essential home repairs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend First Premier Home Warranty. I strongly encourage others to proceed with caution and carefully review customer experiences before signing any contract.

Reading all the reviews from different websites, it seems like Josh is the only employee. I filed a claim for my refrigerator. They assigned a technician right away. I called the technician and left a message. I called the technician’s company and left a message. I’ve emailed. I never heard back. I asked First Premier for another technician. This time they assigned someone who specializes in AC/HVAC. They do not fix refrigerators. I never heard from First Premier again. Now I am trying to cancel my policy. They told me that I need to send an email. I tried sending an email from 2 separate email accounts several times over 2 days. I emailed Josh and he said that it must be a problem on my end. I will contact my credit union tomorrow to stop any further payments. What a joke!

Original Review: They're impossible to work with. They never sent me a copy of my policy. They rarely answer the phone and never respond to email. They paid out only a fraction of the one claim I filed. And now that I've cancelled my policy, they won't send my prorated refund. Every time I get them on the phone, they say they'll "send that check out tomorrow."

I work for an appliance repair company that was contracted by First Premier Home Warranty to go and diagnose the appliance for one of their customers. We charge $70 to diagnose the appliance, and waive that if the repair is done. First Premier told us we could only collect $45 from their customer and that we could bill them for the rest. It has been 5 months and they haven't paid us for any of the 5 jobs we went to for them in that time. They denied every claim their customers made for bogus reasons. They lied and said it was because my company had never reached out to them (our system shows the emails arrived and were opened by them). We had one of their customers calling us for a full month while he tried in vain to get his claim accepted by them. I've never once had them answer my call either. I usually give up after being on hold for 30+ minutes.

I would give this company negative stars if I could. They are a scam. They keep you waiting forever. And when repeatedly called about my claim the rep said he’s doing me a favor by sending me the “cash in lieu” form that was supposed to be sent out last week at minimum if not before. Do not waste your money here. They do not fix anything. Costs $45 for a technician to come diagnose and they will pay cash in-lieu at $50 what a scam. So to get $5 dollars from them, I’ve had to wait a month and they won’t even fix anything. Absolutely ridiculous.

This company is horrible. I paid my policy for 4 months and then when my gas furnace broke down I gave them a call and they told me they couldn’t fix it because I needed it six weeks of Maintenance records, which is ridiculous because no other company that I had before required Maintenance records also when I cancel my policy, they didn’t refund for almost a full month that I already paid but also they charge me $75 cancellation fee on top … Wow this company is a rip off, no wonder they have a 2.1 star. I’m so glad I’m walking away from them, and I’m going back to American Home Shield. You pay more, but there is no surprises. They really take care of you. Bye-bye First Premier scam!!!

More often than not, 15 minutes to answer the phone, then if lucky, they won't hang up. Then, usually, an agent with a broad accent. The claim process is less than transparent for the homeowner or the company assigned for the repair. Will cancel if my current claim is ever resolved.

They even completely disregarded BBB and still NEVER paid me what I'm owed. So obviously, they can now keep the $140 they owe me. Apparently, NONE of them are intelligent enough to understand that negative reviews will lose more customers than positive reviews will ever gain. So my mission continues.... First Premier home warranty said that they cover everything but it's definitely untrue. I filed a claim in March and got a response and was told that a technician would get with me soon, so I received an email stating that a technician has been dispatched and gave me the information. Well 3 days go by and I hadn't heard anything so I contacted the technician myself and was told that he doesn't work for that company. Called FP back and told them the situation and got told the same thing again and thus time they were sending one in and immediately the next day well same thing happened except this one basically said they scammed him so he doesn't work for them anymore. Got a 3rd technician and the company doesn't even exist. Since then I've gotten the run around from FP with the customer service reps picking up and hanging up, holding the phone breathing into it.

Asked for a manger to talk to and was told 3 different times that they would pass my information and a manger would be in touch and still nothing. This company has lied about everything they've told me, customer service reps are rude and play phone games with you and they definitely don't do anything that the sales rep tells you that they will do.
